Starting point is 00:19:45 It works. No, it don't. to be like, you know, I'm actually a little tired. That doesn't work when you're in the middle. Stop. It works. No, it don't. How far did it get? It works. How far did it get? Let me tell you something. You saw his feet.
Starting point is 00:19:53 She said his shit was little, so it didn't get very far. When you do that, guess who else doing it? Oh, now you right here. Let's hit the sheets. What's kind of tired? You know what?
Starting point is 00:20:08 I find that when a guy is aware that he might not be the most well endowed, he pulls out a really big bag of tricks. Usually like hands, mouth, all that shit, you know. And it's kind of. That's the big bag of tricks. It's almost like a telltale sign. I'm sorry. Hands and mouth mouth that's regular regular shit
Starting point is 00:20:27 that's all oh poor baby is deprived oh my god you know hands and mouth no I mean the tricks
Starting point is 00:20:34 that he has you know like okay look I'm not going to deal with this right now with all these expressions on your face I want to hear this shit
Starting point is 00:20:43 man when you tell a story, like, you try to bring us around to Canada and back to New York. We want to stay in New York. Yeah, she tells a lot of stories in the world. It's true.
Starting point is 00:20:50 But I will shoot Mel some bail. I think the double standard exists where, shit, Sexy Red, they just shamed her. They just shamed her. Sexy Red came out and said,
Starting point is 00:20:58 I don't do none of that shit. I fuck raw. True. And then the whole internet flamed her up. It was like, yeah, you're a bad lady. You're a little hoe. Or whatever they were saying. And then the whole internet flamed her up. It was like, yeah, you're a big lady. Whatever they were saying. And then the next day she came back and was like,
Starting point is 00:21:09 I was joking, man. Y'all niggas get off my dick. So I don't think women can play. Well, we're not supposed to do it either. We're not supposed to say it either. Yeah, we're not supposed to say it. It's kind of irresponsible. But we can get away with saying, I want to hit that rule. Yeah, but I pick clean girls, yo. And at one time...
Starting point is 00:21:24 That's what it is. You can tell by looking at them. All you got to do is pick the cleanies. can get away with saying I want to hit that role. Yeah, but I pick clean girls, yo. That's what it is. You can tell by looking at them. All you got to do is pick the cleanies. There's some people listening to this driving right now going crazy. The craziest part is that even if we think a girl is clean, we go raw and after we ask, are you clean?
Starting point is 00:21:40 After we done hit raw. I just washed my dick in the sink. Put peroxide on it. Or alcohol. Clean your shit off. That seems like a good thing. All you got to do is fuck the girls that get offended when you give them something. Yo, why would you say that?
Starting point is 00:21:54 They be so appalled. Ah, I heard you. It's like, nah. You right, man. Let's go get clean. Together. I just had to make sure that you was the one that was clean. Yeah, I had to make sure.
Starting point is 00:22:03 I mean, I had to check. Had to eat his dirt back in the condom days back in the condom days yeah yeah we grown now okay back in the condom days
Starting point is 00:22:11 that's also our title the first round you used a condom then you hit two three times later on without it what's the point I knew
Starting point is 00:22:21 I knew we shouldn't have started with Ice Spice's mom yeah how we get more exactly this is exactly what we should have started y'all get right to getting lusty boy i'm just saying like niggas was doing it or you're definitely eating some pussy you're getting some head raw and then fucking yeah yeah yeah i don't believe i don't believe that we'll talk I don't believe that shit, bro. We'll talk. I don't believe that shit at all. Sorry. You're not putting a nigga out.
Starting point is 00:22:53 I had no idea that ESTG was a star football player, star athlete with Division I scholarships and all types of offers. And I didn't know he played O-line. How big is ESTG, Pauls? Big joker, Pauls. Like, how big, though? He's a linebacker, so I think. Yeah, so you had to be. He's got to be big.
Starting point is 00:23:11 Six foot and some 200 pounds-ish, I would think. That's the wrong nigga we want to turn to the sticks on. You don't even need him. Yo, I wish his career would have banned out. We did not need him on the streets. A linebacker with, oh my God. So listen, ESTG went and did Boulay Kev's podcast. True.
Starting point is 00:23:37 Fucking stupid Boulay Kev started asking him questions. That's crazy. Yeah, during an interview, man. That was wild. Who does that? ESTG had heard enough, during an interview, man. That was wild. Who does that? ESTG had heard enough, got up and walked out. I love that move in podcasts, getting up and walking out. Yes, you did it a couple of times.
Starting point is 00:23:55 And I love if somebody do it to me. It's a move. I'm getting much content. It does seem to always work. It never fails if somebody walks out of an interview. Got it. When Ross walked out of 85 South, and that was even the most polite walk out I ever saw. That was the funniest shit ever, though.
Starting point is 00:24:09 I'm going to the bathroom. Yeah, I'm going to the bathroom. And they was like, yo, I think he gone. Yeah, he left. I left mad sensitive. I'll never do your platform again. Been back. Sensitive as hell.
Starting point is 00:24:23 No, I never went back. I never went back. I never went back. That was Hot 97. I said that. I ain't been back since. Oh, you never went back? Never went back since. Not to say I wouldn't.
Starting point is 00:24:32 I would. You would. I would because it's under different pretenses now. Got it. Got it. I'm not going to promote an album. I'm not going to promote a project. I don't need to rely on y'all to steer the conversation correctly.
Starting point is 00:24:45 Now we can really talk about anything. I see what you're saying. Hey, you got a relationship. Up there, I was trying to sell a record. So yeah, let's talk about this record. Let's talk about the album. And ESTG, bringing it back to him, said, yo, what does any of this have to do with selling my album?
Starting point is 00:24:58 I got a project dropping on Friday. You asking me about aliens. You asking me about football. You asking me about the last gay actor or whatever the fuck he was asking him. actor or whatever the he was asking him so where do y'all fall which side do y'all fall on whose side do you fall on this bullock have responded to that and he said yo his peoples reached out to me and said he does not want to do your typical interview ask me about the music so they told him some things that he's into like quantum physics and he he looks into that type of so he was trying to have uh trying to be nar of shit. So he was trying to have a...
Starting point is 00:25:25 Trying to be Narwhal. He was just trying to have a non-traditional interview where we just sit here and kick it and talk shit. So where'd the miscommunication happen? Well, let me say
Starting point is 00:25:34 what ESTG said. Let me read it. You trying to play it like I walked out because of football like ain't did plenty of interviews talking about playing football
Starting point is 00:25:42 and talking about it in my music. You asking me if I remembered an old man porn porn star if i believe in aliens and the nfl combine what the fuck does that have to do with my album dropping friday i literally just walked out that interview two hours ago you already got a clip up you trying to go viral lol 100 i got real life shit going on. Ask around. I personally would rather hear conversations about aliens and quantum physics. But I understand when you release an album, that's not what you want to talk about.
Starting point is 00:26:18 But it's weird if the PR people are telling you one thing and you want to do something different. I re-bulleted Kev's response. About the ESTG thing, I'm a fan of his music and was genuinely excited to talk to him. response about the ESTG thing I'm a fan of his music and was genuinely excited to talk to him I was told by his team that he wanted to not have an interview not filled with typical stuff where we talk about music this music that etc apparently he has a wide range of interest that includes the universe and quantum physics etc so what I was told so I approached our interview as I do every single one let's have fun shoot the shit and get to know who you are outside of the music plus persona then he continued on he was like he was looking forward to talking about just outside of music topics and it clearly irritated I'll push back on what you said Paul I don't it's not uncommon for the artists and the publicists to be on two totally different
Starting point is 00:26:57 pages true it's not and these artists are moody so yeah that might have been normally my thing but I'm not in the mood actually that's one of my biggest beefs in the music business. Well, not in the music business. But yeah, is that the publicist in trying to do their job is going to tell the platforms whatever they need to tell them to get the shit booked.
Starting point is 00:27:16 Right. And when they bring it to you, they're going to tell you whatever they need to tell you to get you there. It's not until the artists get there and find out for themselves that you really know what's going on yeah like we've had artists that came in here that clearly did not want to be here on the
Starting point is 00:27:32 walk-in didn't want to be here but then you loosen up because you from whatever they might have heard about you or they just tense tense exactly tense a lot of people have that about me and then they walk in and like oh shit this shit is chill it's cool here I bet and now they're the usual yo we got a hard out because we got a flight to catch which we know we know what that means if we'll give you this amount of time if we ready to leave we leaving for this reason half the time artists will sit here and be like yo now we good we pushed it back we could rock out a little longer because they loosen up and they realize it's a more It's a gift
Starting point is 00:28:05 Comfortable environment Yeah But if you here And you just don't want to be there You dealing with whatever It's easy for you to I don't even want to talk about this shit anyway Leave me alone
Starting point is 00:28:17 But that's the other thing A lot of these new acts And new artists Ain't really trying to do interviews really So it takes some coaxing From the publicist or the label or the A&R. Somebody got to talk you into it. Or you got to have a relationship with the person that's doing the interview. They just don't want to do interviews.
Starting point is 00:28:35 Yeah, but if somebody's trying to sell you a record and you're saying to them, I don't want to do no interviews, then your team is going to get into trick you mode. True. That's what this seems like. And they want to do interviews with who they want to do them with. Who they're comfortable with. I mean, that probably is the underlying factor in this. Maybe he's not familiar with bootleg cab, didn't want to do bootleg
Starting point is 00:28:56 cab for whatever reason. He would rather went somewhere else. Like a lot of the more street artists prefer to sit with certain people. So it's like, I don't even want to be here. Book me over there with them. I'll sit there. you know, more street artists prefer to sit with certain people. Yeah. So it's like, I don't even want to be here. Book me over there with them.
Starting point is 00:29:09 I'll sit there and we can do something. I think that I won't harp on this too long. Damn, I'm kind of conflicted as a rapper and a podcaster. I feel like most of the times
Starting point is 00:29:24 when we have artists up here, we don't really just sit down and dissect their... I'm never going to talk... Yeah, but we also don't have... In-cycle interviews very often. You're right. Yeah, because in-cycle means,
Starting point is 00:29:36 to me anyway, yo, I'm coming to talk about this dog. And I got nine more of these lined up directly after you. Right. I ain't with none of that shit. And I want to learn about the artists. I'm sick of enough music. I have your music. I got your music.
Starting point is 00:29:50 What do you do when you wake up in the morning? When's the last time you cried? What are you into outside of music? Do you remember this porn star? Yeah. Yeah. So I feel bootleg him on that side. I'm on his side. Does anybody agree with E-S-T-G?
Starting point is 00:30:07 Does anybody agree with that? I don't. I don't. I'm on bootleg Kev's side mainly because it was your, and I get it, there can be a disconnect between publicists and artists, but it was your people who even put that bug in his ear to have him do it.
Starting point is 00:30:18 He probably wasn't aware. I agree. I'm blaming the publicists, too, though. Yeah, for sure. I've had publicists come up to me and blow up a platform. Yo, this platform gets 900 million impressions with this much traffic and this much audience. And you walk in and there's some crackhead loser with a fucking Sony handheld bullshit mic just asking you weird shit. Hey, dawg, I don't give a fuck how many impressions you get.
Starting point is 00:30:40 I'm getting out of here. I'm not doing this. This is my last impression with you. I have a crazy publicist story. Let's hear it. Let's hear it, yeah. Okay, so, the ESPY party
Starting point is 00:30:50 is always like a really big party, whether it's during Super Bowl or NFL Draft Week, which happens in New York a lot. I think it only happens
Starting point is 00:31:00 in New York, the draft? No, the draft travels, yeah. Okay, well, whenever the shit lands in New York, it's a big momentous event. It's big wherever it is. Yeah, but just in New York City,
Starting point is 00:31:13 I'm talking about the parties and stuff like that. In New York, it's nightlife time. Yeah. So the ESPN party is usually kind of like the jewel in the crown kind of thing in terms of all the events that are kind of happening. Okay. And the gatekeeper was this woman named Shancher Kamak. kind of like the jewel in the crown kind of thing in terms of like, you know, all the events that are kind of happening.
Starting point is 00:31:29 And the gatekeeper was this woman named Shancher K-Mac. She's like, I'm, now she's like a good friend of mine. She's wildly intimidating, you know? And she just like, that guest list, she was the gatekeeper. And so my publicist, you know, sent out, you know, Melissa Ford would love to go to the party, blah, blah, blah, this, that, the other. Thirsty.
Starting point is 00:31:48 Et cetera, et cetera. And it was formality. Thirsty, though. Whatever. That's what publicists do. It's RSVPing. But it was thirsty. No, this is.
Starting point is 00:31:58 Yo, flip. Thirsty. This is not part of the story, motherfuckers. Can I get to the story part? Thank you very much. Want something good? This is protocol. of the story, motherfuckers. Can I get to the story part? Thank you very much. Want something good? This is protocol. We're following protocol. Everyone has to RSVP for this party.
Starting point is 00:32:12 Wait, did your publicist only say, hey, Melissa Ford would like to attend, or did they add your bio? Like, hey, Melissa Ford from... Sean Train knew who I was. Oh, shit. The bio was a little thirsty. No, Sean...
Starting point is 00:32:24 It's just formality. Did they add your movie? Did Sean Train hit your publicist first? No, no, no, shit. The bio was a little thirsty. No, Sean Trey. It's just for manhood. Did they add your movie? Your movie? Did Sean Trey hit your publicist first? No, no, no, stop. No, no, no, hold on. Stop. Y'all wildin'.
Starting point is 00:32:30 Get her shit off. Did Sean Trey hit your publicist first? Did she reply? Or did she just reach out to Sean Trey? No. Now she's going to shut down. Like I said, you have the protocol. Everyone has to read to RSVP to go to the party
Starting point is 00:32:45 I'm talking about everybody it is a formality I agree so it was not like an ask it was Melissa Ford's going to attend with plus two that's the email
Starting point is 00:32:55 true and you wanted a plus two plus two confirmed confirmed this is not the part of the story the big man
Starting point is 00:33:04 I'm surprised you didn't get a plus four. Plus two. We in here. Fuck they talking about? Y'all must have forgot. Okay. Anyways. So I'm confirmed for the party.
Starting point is 00:33:16 Everything is fine. This publicist had another client or had a few other clients like football players. Tutan Reyes. Remember him? No. He used to play for the jets no okay anyways um so she was trying to get him placed on the list oh did she send an email she sent an email okay that's not the point okay she did not realize that when she was going back and forth with tutan that she had copied sean sean trey on the fucking email where she ends up saying yeah i'm trying to get you on the list but like the you know the gatekeeper she's
Starting point is 00:33:53 a real cunt use that exact fucking word also none of y'all getting in there none of us were getting the fuck in yeah my people didn't tell me this until the day before the party they're like i gotta tell you something and i was like what and they were like you're not going to the ESPN party it's like yes I am I was confirmed and they were like um no you're not because I was like wait I was like wait what the fuck happened they told me what happened I said I'll call you right back I hit up Chantre and she was just like Melissa she was just like this is not about you this is about your publicist she has to learn a very hard lesson right now about you know just how to act right and da da da da and this that the other so she was like I was like all right fine I'm not even gonna fight the whole thing whatever whatever so I cursed
Starting point is 00:34:34 my publicist out I fired her as a result she was like don't fire I was like fuck that I'm firing her the whole point is to say that sometimes your publicist you know as much as they have their your best interest in mind they just go off-cocked and will fuck your whole shit up. And you did not get into the party. Half-cocked. I didn't even. Half-cocked. Not full.
Starting point is 00:34:51 Half-cocked. Like the dude she kicked out of the bed. Yeah. He was half-cocked. You are so good, Cart. Was your publicist a mother? Was she a mother? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:03 That didn't matter. What? What does this have to do with the price of price? You don't have a question. You don't have a question, ma? Yeah. That didn't matter. What does this have to do with the price of race? You don't have a question, ma'am. You just answered it. I don't know. I don't know. I don't think so.
Starting point is 00:35:13 Because the NFL draft is in the spring, if I'm not mistaken, right? Yeah. So you potentially fired a single mother right before the summer? Okay, Joe.
Starting point is 00:35:21 Jesus Christ. Joe, that's Joe's... Because of a party? Joe, stop. What would you do if you found out your publicist did that shit?
Starting point is 00:35:32 She can't feed her family because you couldn't go? You're potting. You're potting. That's rough. That's rough. Here's the caveat. Whoa.
Starting point is 00:35:41 Hold on. The lady that was mad told you not to fire her. There's no... She said give her grace. There is no... Then let me in a party then. There is no... Wait, wait. Hold on. The lady that was mad told you not to fire her. There's no. She said give her grace. There is no. Let me in the party then. There is no. Wait, wait, hold on. The lady that's supposed to be mad said don't fire her, man. Forget the party.
Starting point is 00:35:52 Forget the party. There is no way that I'm going to have somebody like that representing me who would make a mistake. That's not even a mistake. That was intentional stupidity. That was ridiculous. Why are you talking about her like that? I see y'all didn't piece it up.
Starting point is 00:36:06 Wait, hold on, Mel. So you say that- See if y'all never made friends again. So you're saying that she can't- We were friends. Mel, Mel, Mel. We were friends. She was an employee.
Starting point is 00:36:15 You can see the email she sent after you left. She can't express the fact that the lady who's a gatekeeper may be- You heard that? She was a tough, tough tight ship over there. Oh my God. She can't express the fact that the lady that is the gatekeeper may be this She was a tough, tough tight ship over there. Oh my God. She can't express the fact that the lady that is the gatekeeper
Starting point is 00:36:27 may be this difficult person to work with. She can't express that amongst her peers or amongst anybody else she's working with. You could have your little pillow talk
Starting point is 00:36:36 or whatever the case is like in person. I don't give a shit what kind of gossip session you have, but you're putting it on email and then you're fucking up by copying her on the email? She wanted her to see.
Starting point is 00:36:46 She said, I stayed on my shit. Now you're standing on it over there on unemployment line, nigga. Basically. I was on Boulay-Kev's side and then I heard this. What's the better beat? Friends or The Message? I had a reason a couple of times. The original Message? I'm just saying both those records are incredible. Been flipped 16 times into successful records since. Oh, okay. I know what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:37:45 That's tough. I can't pick. That's tough. I can't pick. That's tough. I wanted to say Friends, but the message is... I like Friends better, man. The message is... I feel like it depends on what...
Starting point is 00:37:55 You want to see what those other songs are? Friends. Okay. I feel like it depends on what they're rapping about. If it doesn't line up with the cadence and the sound. They're both classics. Yeah. They're both classics. That's impressive. if it doesn't line up with you know the cadence and the sound yeah they both classics yeah he went up to he went up to LA and went went crazy with this fucking freestyle so that's not that wasn't the whole thing so go look for it check it out yes TG album in your phones right now I have it I purchased it
Starting point is 00:38:20 Toro to oh wait actually let me play one of the songs I think is fire off this shit. Alright, cool. There is a song that I think is fire. I didn't get to listen to it yet, so yeah. It's a couple songs on there for me. Yeah. This is much, much, much, much better than his last two projects. Really? Okay. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:38:40 I'll tell you after. This record is called All I Know, featuring Pooh Shiesty. All I know is Poo Shafesty. I like that little tune. Poo Shafesty. All I know is that you want me. Look at how you feel.
Starting point is 00:38:50 Nigga, they know they can't play us. Niggas die, they bring my name up. When things don't call my phone about copping douches, I'm going to hang up. And I still get active with no mask. Forget I'm famous. Niggas can't afford to get me killed no more. I got my change up.
Starting point is 00:39:02 I ain't change up. I'm the same one who will front the bag and sell it for him He ain't had no way to get it back home I'ma mail it for him Red ain't get to brag about all the missions I'ma tell it for him Hayden saying y'all chased him out that place We had a present for him
Starting point is 00:39:15 This is hard I wanted to get to the hook This is crazy though Think they sent like sevens for him Lot of niggas shot but ain't get dropped And I couldn't settle for it Got to whip suspense some more one to get to the hook. This is crazy. ESTG album on your phones right now. Shit is crazy. Quavo album dropped as well. Hold on. Hold on. I ain't moving off of EST. My bad.
Starting point is 00:39:43 Because again, I was very critical of his last two projects. So I got to give him his props. Rightfully so, though. Well, yeah. But, I mean, I saw people that was upset. Oh, you ain't a real fan. You know how they get. If you don't praise it, you're a hater.
Starting point is 00:39:56 This project, although it was a little too long, I like he got back to the hard street sound that made me a fan of his. Where he lost me, though, is when he tries to get into his R&B bag. But I respect it because you aren't staying stagnant doing the same song over and over and over. So you are trying something different. Even if I don't like it, I'm going to respect that. Because you gave me enough on this project of the music that I want to hear you can go ahead and take your your tries to do this and you know you can sing your girl records you could do that if it works for you it works but at least I'm pleased
Starting point is 00:40:34 as a fan of getting a bunch of music that I want to hear from you I'm tired of these long albums I'm tired yeah they have they have, I can't even wake up before on pod day and just listen to albums anymore. They are 30 tracks, 21 tracks. Yo, dog, respectfully,
Starting point is 00:40:54 this is not DSTG because I'm a fan of his, but I don't want to hear most of y'all's 21 track albums. Only Breezy can get away with that, you saying? No, there's more. There's a couple people.
Starting point is 00:41:03 Donda was long. Yeah, Drake. A lot was long. Yeah, Drake. A lot of y'all. Drake. That should be reserved for the best of the best. I get that. When they took bundle packages away, it was time to do tricks with the streaming.
Starting point is 00:41:15 I understand that. But bundles is back. Use them. Hey, pack that bullshit up. For real. He's saying in a nice way that all y'all are not 20 track artists. Y'all can't put
Starting point is 00:41:26 20 together he's just being nice and saying it everybody don't have a fire 20 good 12 nigga we good word and focus on the 12 like make those the best 12 that you can make all of that y'all i'ma put out 10 mid joints because i know I got 11 Man get the fuck out of here I'm done And then you double right back around Now you got a Deluxe to 20 But you can also hear
Starting point is 00:41:50 Like that they're just One taking it More or less Like they're not going back And oh you know I could do a better hook here I could do A better verse here
Starting point is 00:41:58 I could Do it They're just keeping it pushing Just output Pure output It's Amazon It's Amazon rapping Just get it out
Starting point is 00:42:04 Shout out to Amazon My amp show Every Monday and Thursday 5 to 7 Just output. It's Amazon. It's Amazon rapping. Just get it out. Shout out to Amazon. My amp show every Monday and Thursday. Break that down. Break that down. But yeah, you're absolutely right. Just low quality. Low quality.
Starting point is 00:42:15 Low effort. Low effort. Yeah. Don't say no hanging fruit on these. No. I don't know if that applies. Yeah, a lot of these dudes out there can't even do a quality five or six pack. I don't need 21 songs from y'all.
Starting point is 00:42:29 Word. You have any more on EST? Nah, you're good. Go ahead, Quavo. Shout out to EST. Quavo drop. I gave it a run through. I don't have a breakdown.
Starting point is 00:42:40 I don't have a strong opinion, but I did listen to it. How many tracks is that? I need to hear it again. It's long. It's long. It's 18 or something like that. I listened to half of it, and it sounded good. Any songs stood out guys? It all he's been through, even if it was bad, I wouldn't say a bad word about it. Yeah. Word. He's had a rough. I got through maybe four records because again, you don't have enough time in the morning to try to
Starting point is 00:43:02 do everything and get in here and talk about it. So there's no standout record that we can sing? I don't have it yet. Why you keep saying that? I like the record with Take Off. Was it track two or three? Yeah, that shit was hard.
Starting point is 00:43:12 It felt good hearing his voice. Yeah. At the beginning, right on the track, so it just starts. But I don't have no deep dive either.
Starting point is 00:43:19 Yeah, I don't have one yet. But I am going to listen to it more. It sounded good. 18 songs. Yeah, I'm going to check it out. But I am going to listen to it more. It sounded good. 18 songs. Yeah, I'm going to check it out. And I agree with Parks. It was one of those early songs with Takeoff.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Track two. With the horns and shit. That shit's hard. Was Fire. Can we hear it? Let's see. Joe got us. Let's see.
Starting point is 00:43:37 Shoot him like a clipper, fuck a fade. Me and Tate pop out like a date. Could we go together anyway? I'm confused, sticking like glue. It's some dolls running on the loose. Nigga sweet, she could shine. No, I'm confused, stickin' like glue It's some dogs runnin' on the loose, nigga sweet, she could shame No, I won't tell another nigga name, who it but a, what a name, huh? No, he not part of the game, my young niggas out catchin' stain And no, he not leavin' no stain, quiver like Steph with the three
Starting point is 00:43:57 Hunt you like Dirk in the paint, you feel like dirt in the paint Nah, I fill the cup up with drink, put this shit down, I came Maybe one day, but today not the day. No. We got. Rest in peace. Rest in peace, Takeoff. Gone but not forgotten.
Starting point is 00:44:10 We love you. Word up. That was the one right there. Yeah. I hope the Migos boys are all right, man. Doing well. I do. And congratulations to Quavo.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I'm waiting on the Offset Project. Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm. I don't know when it's coming. It seems like it's about to be a crowded fourth quarter. I ain't gonna lie to you. It's gonna have to be. It's gonna have to be.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Yeah, no choice, right? Cole announced he was coming. He did? Or something was coming. Okay. He posted a snippet of him in the studio with Mike Will. I think J.I.D. was in that,
Starting point is 00:44:38 if I'm not mistaken. It could have been somebody else. It was dark. But yeah, they was just listening to Fire. Yeah, working on a beat together it looked like. Crazy ass beat.
Starting point is 00:44:47 I love that J. Cole works with other producers. Now, yeah. I like that. Yeah, that's a great, that's a gift for us.
Starting point is 00:44:55 Like you've proven you can do it. Now, come on. Yeah, you already made gazillions doing it that way. Come on.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Come on over here, do the feature, get the beat. Yeah, come on. So I assume that Cole is coming. We know that Drake is coming. I think that that snippet was
Starting point is 00:45:08 the record that Mike Will put out with Uzi today. Oh, God. Oh, my. Yo. Oh, my. Fuck. Why is J. Cole in that video?
Starting point is 00:45:22 He's co-producer on the song. Oh, my God. I don't care. Oh, come video? He's co-producer of the song. Oh, my God. I don't care. Oh, come on. That's hate. Huh? That's hate. I don't want to hear fucking Lil Uzi.
Starting point is 00:45:32 It's over. I'm done. I'm done. He's number one out. Man, I don't give a fuck. I don't want to hear none of that shit. You don't want to hear it? Play that.
Starting point is 00:45:41 Give him a little bit. Play that. Get out of here, nigga. Play that. Give him a little bit, Parks. Oh, my God of here, nigga. Play that. Give him a little bit, Parkes. Oh my god. Oh shit. Brass.
Starting point is 00:45:49 Oh my fucking god. Oh my fucking god. Whoa, Baskin-Bass. Boom, boom. Mike will be. Boom, boom. Boom. Boom, boom.
Starting point is 00:46:00 Boom, boom. Boom, boom. Boom, boom. Now, if Cole was coming on this, Oh my god, if Cole was coming on this Oh my God, if Cole was coming on this Let's hear what Uzi did, dog He did what he normally do Stay quiet That's not him doing woo-woo
Starting point is 00:46:17 You know him, yeah Woo-woo Woo-woo You know he's screaming in my ear Why do I have to listen to this? Yeah Stuck in this bitch like a killer Stuck in this bitch in all my shell-a
Starting point is 00:46:29 Look for my waist got a damn caterpillar No Uzi Vert had in a damn pillow White bitch with me like a ping-pong She think that I am Godzilla Wear my doorbell I'm ding-dong Psych no bitch I live in a pen White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen
Starting point is 00:46:44 White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen You know what I'm talking about White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen White bitch in a pen You know what I'm talking about Hey Hey All right, all right, all right, big dog
Starting point is 00:47:01 Oh, my God Hey, yo, big dog Hey, yo, big dog I Oh my gosh. Alright, big dog. Hey yo, big dog. Alright, big dog. Hey yo, big dog. I played that in the car this morning. Parks was like, are you sure you don't want to replay this? Are you sure?
Starting point is 00:47:10 He fucking tricked me. You knew it. You knew it was fire. Yeah. That shit was heat. That shit was hard. Nah, that was crazy. When Uzi's on his shit, he's like.
Starting point is 00:47:18 Thank God Cole didn't get that beat. I still would like to hear Cole on that though. Yo, maybe Cole should do the remix. I would like to hear that. Oh man. Has Cole ever rapped with Uzi? No. No. No. No. No. Thank God Cole didn't get that beat. I would like to hear Cole on that though. Yo, maybe Cole should do the remix. I would like to hear that.
Starting point is 00:47:27 Oh, man. Has Cole ever rapped with Uzi? But Cole loves the kids. Cole loves the kids. Cole loves everybody. I'm sure if he has. That's not true. Well, it might be true.
Starting point is 00:47:37 I don't believe it to be true, but it might be true. Well, you don't believe it because you just think niggas can't just love everybody. The niggas that's nice to everybody in the world, I don't believe it. Their true friends know the people that they love. I don't think they rap together. That I know of. Damn, if Cole remixed that and come on after that, oh, shit. Come on, Cole.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Make it happen, man. Yeah. Go ahead. Come on. Give us a verse, man. Go ahead, Doge. We want to hear it. Yeah, we want to hear it.
Starting point is 00:47:59 Just a little 16. No, you can't get on there and do no 16s. Hell no. No. Do he do 16s like they're making noises on the noises and did something i don't know i want to hear cold bark though i don't want to i don't want to hear him bark he won't bark man don't don't play with coal like a few other rappers that like to bark on all fours too i. I missed it. Okay. I know. It's a callback from like nine years ago.
Starting point is 00:48:29 Freaky boy. Freaky rappers. You happens to be freaky. I know you have a freaky talk. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. Nothing more. Come on, man. Nothing, man.
Starting point is 00:48:41 Let's get to the next topic. Easy part of G-Unit. Let's get to the next topic quickly. No, you was G-Unit? Let's get to the next topic quickly. No, you was just talking about fourth quarter. Chris Brown announced that he's dropping. 11-11. I need that ASAP. Pissed me off, though.
Starting point is 00:48:53 Why? It's only 11 songs. See what you did there. Oh! Freak-ass boy. Hey, hold on. What nigga? What's up?
Starting point is 00:49:08 Hold on. Listen, listen, listen. I haven't been here that long. Freak-ass nigga. A lot of shit go over my head. Look, here you come. Me and Mel. If you don't get it, you don't get it.
Starting point is 00:49:16 Trying to catch on. I said, he used to be a part of G-Unit. You let me slide with that. And you heard it. You ignored that. You said, all right, nigga. I said, we should get to the next topic. Anyway, Chris Brown. Why are you mad at that?, I said we should get to the next topic. Anyway,
Starting point is 00:49:25 Chris Brown, 11 songs. Why are you mad at that? Because I don't want to hear 11 songs from Chris Brown. I'm conditioned to longer projects. And I saw him post like, yo,
Starting point is 00:49:36 a lot of my fans are mad wanting me to add more music, but no, I'm just going to focus on this. Breezy be listening. Breezy listen. Fam, you've been doing those
Starting point is 00:49:43 45, 30s, 23s. Like, you can't. If you want me to believe for two seconds that he's not coming out with a 23 song deluxe a week later, four days later. Shout out to Breezy, bro. I was just about to say, I know for a fact that Chris Brown has at least 40 songs recorded. So if he's releasing. If he's releasing.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Recorded Mix Master. Yeah, ready to go. Ready to go. So if he's releasing 11 with the next project, I think very shortly after... We back again? We're getting a whole nother album. I'm with that.
Starting point is 00:50:10 I'm with that. But what I just said about the long albums, I think it applies to Chris too. Not... No. No, he delivers heat on the long albums. But what I'm saying is, if it's 11 songs,
Starting point is 00:50:19 I expect him to zero in and focus and make those 11 the best 11 it could possibly be. I agree. I agree with that. And he's also done the best 11 it could possibly be. I agree. I agree with that. And he's also done the long album shit at this point. He don't got to prove that again. Two or three times.
Starting point is 00:50:30 It's not about proving. It's literally just me being a greedy fan. Because a lot of these people who put out these long albums give you five good records in the long album. Whereas he can give you a 30 song album and 26 of them are heat. I like Chris Brown. I don't like him enough to listen to 45 songs, so I'm excited to listen to an 11-song Chris Brown project.
Starting point is 00:50:51 Yeah, but experience Chris in the Benz. You never heard Chris in the Benz. You right. It's different. We got to see. Yeah, you right. You got to hear, like, Red in the Benz. Oh, shit, no, you don't.

Sorry Enough in the in the bins oh shit no you don't you crash red red when red sorry enough in the bins tough love come on nowhere nowhere i love you chris greasy hey yo chris brown man get the fuck up here too enough man enough now enough i'm tired of y'all niggas hitting me with the line yo if i was just yeah i want to hear that yeah i don't want to hear it i want to hear that come get come up here man i'm gonna hit him i'm gonna hit him it's over because you don't like reaching out to what do you mean well i don't like reaching out to me i just said that yeah you don't like you don't like dm but i've spoken to him before about an interview so i don't i wouldn't feel like reaching out to him is
Starting point is 00:51:43 reaching out we because we because we had to talk. He's one of the people that would be like, I would come do y'all shit, but it's tricky. You gotta respect it. You gotta respect it. That's my man, son.
Starting point is 00:51:56 But yeah, now 11-11, 11 songs on 11-11, yeah, send it over. 11th album. Send it over. 11-11. He's on his numerology shit.
Starting point is 00:52:03 Come sit right here. Come sit right here and get some editing powers. Starting point is 00:52:34 I'm here after you, Twitter. Don't know if I'm paying you $8. Are you still paying the ticket? I ain't paid it. I don't feel, I mean, I would pay. But I don't give a fuck. I don't give a fuck don't give you don't use it enough to utilize the features shadow band the business is built or a shadow band man okay I'm not relying that's all you don't you don't use it enough to to you for the features for that to be worth it I wouldn't have a company if I had to rely on the companies

Starting point is 00:55:09 physically assaults you. It falls on you. It falls on you. It weighs on you. I didn't feel like she owe us an apology for trying to get that off on the air, but it's cool. Well, we know we're not going to. Stand down. No apology. I take it back. No apology. No apology.
Starting point is 00:55:25 Damian Lillard. Damian Lillard dropped. Let's go. Friend of the show, Dame. Dame Dollar. Drop something. Dame dropped arguably his best project yet. I'm going to play the intro called Lillard University.

Starting point is 00:58:36 How was it? Heard the record. I saw the video. Yeah, it was. It's more pop culture. I can't complain about nothing Usher's doing because he gave me the songs that I like before the album come out. He gave me my slow R&B.
Starting point is 00:58:46 He gave me my mid-tempo R&B. So now this shit that he's doing for the kids and the dance, that's your bad. You got to sell records. So do it. I'm really glad that the internet killed Keke Palmer. I am. I know that I'm not supposed to say that as a man.
Starting point is 00:59:03 I'm glad. I'm glad. Why are your eyes open? to say that as a man. I'm glad. I'm glad. Why are your eyes open? We glad that she got killed. Yeah, I'm glad she got killed, man. Why are you making my eyes all big? No, I'm not doing anything. You're making a sound.

Starting point is 00:59:26 No, I'm not. Okay, exactly. This is the way I'm going to celebrate that. Because it's fine. It's fine, right? It's fine to just have a nigga at home doing dishes because he don't make as much money as you and go with a sexy nigga like Usher and show your ass. That's fine.
Starting point is 00:59:38 You Melissa Ford. No, I feel like we had this conversation up here. We did. No, that it smelled and looked very much like a rollout. That's a fact. She left him, right? Is that part of the rollout? You said that?

Starting point is 01:00:00 I never said anything about leaving her to anybody. I never made a statement. I don't know. He's like, where, where's that statement? He's, cause there's plenty other statements of him saying, yo,
Starting point is 01:00:10 I've moved on. I'm over it. And we can co-parent while not living in the same house. Okay. Right here. Hold on. Uno momento. Oh,

Is it the shit that you flip? Is it the one you flip the top over or is it the one you... With the can opener. It's two types. No, with the can opener. Okay.

Starting point is 01:01:59 No, I'm sad. I'm good. I'm hungry and I can't cook and I don't feel like going to the supermarket. I'm going to get 10 little mini raviolis to open. Yeah, I'm going to put three of them in there.
Starting point is 01:02:10 You know what I'm saying? But we mean, we're going to tell him no, I'm good. Oh yeah, for sure. I'm going to get $5 regular on the Eddie Bauer over there too.
Starting point is 01:02:15 I'm good though. On the Eddie Bauer. I ain't crying these allergies, nigga, mind your business. I feel like a bum when I have to get, when I do a part, when I get the big one with the can opener. Then I feel like a bum. Why have to get, when I do a part, when I get the big one with the can opener.
Starting point is 01:02:26 Then I feel like a bum. Why? Because why am I trying to gourmet this? Nah, you gotta gourmet it. It's the best ones. I might as well. What's the green shit they pour over the shit? A little parsley.
Starting point is 01:02:35 A little parsley on there. Parsley on the spaghetti. Give you some cheese, shred you some cheese over it. I had a chef come over last night, she got a little too chefy. What she made? Some risotto with octopus and sausage. That sounds good.
Starting point is 01:02:52 That sounds yummy. I picked all that octopus out of there. You eat octopus? Octopus is great. I'll eat it if it's calamari. That's squid. That's squid. Then I won't eat octopus.
Starting point is 01:03:03 You got to try it one day. I love octopus. Especially grilled octopus. Oh, then I won't eat octopus. Now you got to try it one day. Yeah. I love octopus. Especially grilled? Grilled octopus? Yes. The little spider. The little spider.
Starting point is 01:03:11 Salute. They got good octopus. You sounded like Flip right now. I'm cool. Hey, sorry. Grilled octopus is great. Good for you. Can I have chicken fingers, please?
Starting point is 01:03:19 So you were just by yourself here? I'm in the middle. Hold on, brother. Hold on. Hold on, brother. Big dog. Big dog. So let me ask you a question. I'm assuming Shadday was on Face brother, hold on. Let me talk to you. Hold on, brother. So let me ask you a question. I'm assuming Sade was on FaceTime with you while all this was going down, yes?
Starting point is 01:03:30 No, see, now you're telling me to be expectant. No, she wasn't on FaceTime. OK, cool. So she was aware that the chef came in your crib and cooked? Yo, I guess this is, don't talk about my girl with me. I guess this is. Respect. I like me, salute.
Starting point is 01:03:39 So you're just by yourself. You didn't invite nobody over near us to go, I'm having the chef come over, guys. You come get a meal as my brothers. We had a classic show yesterday. We did. We did. We did.
Starting point is 01:03:53 Oh, man. Next time. Next time. I'm not against that. So now, when is that going out? I'm not against that. When is that going out? What?
Starting point is 01:04:02 Tomorrow's. The episode. Yesterday's. Yesterday's. Oh, shit. Yesterday's? Tomorrow's. The episode. Yesterday's. Oh shit, yesterday's? I don't even know. I know I'll hear about it. My mom said we're going to jump in.

Starting point is 01:04:30 Oh man. But anyway, what were we talking about? Damn, so Calamari and Squid? Yes. Yeah, they're cousins or something.
Starting point is 01:04:38 Oh, okay, that's why. That's why. It ain't octopus though. I stopped eating octopus because the movie With the friends of the octopus

Starting point is 01:05:04 The dude did what? He became friends with an octopus. So how do you know the octopus was smart? What did they do? They came and checked him out every day and shit. They was chilling, smoking. They was smoking, swimming. That's what you watch when you couldn't get in the ESPN party.
Starting point is 01:05:18 You on watching octopus. Yeah, you on watching bullshit. You ain't good, girl, but you still good. Oh, shut up. I never seen somebody get unconfirmed so fast. That was fast, too. And you called them out of something. And she told you the lesson.
Starting point is 01:05:32 She unconfirmed everybody. Every single one of them. Yeah, but only one person called about it. No, no, no, no, no. I doubt that. Oh, it's okay. I wasn't asking. Go ahead. I'm going to hear it. I wasn't asking. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:05:45 I wasn't calling to get myself back on the list. I was calling to make sure that me and Sean Trey were good, and this was not a reflection of me. Fuck that. But were y'all good? Oh, yeah. She was like, Melissa, we're fine. No, we're great.
Starting point is 01:05:57 You just can't get in tonight. She was proving a point. Boundaries. And I said, stand on your shit. Absolutely. And she told you not to fire her. Child, good night. No.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Not let him know. I'm going to fire her. Exactly. I'm not letting something like that represent me. That was tacky. That's the ESPN party today. That could be a big ass deal tomorrow. That's what I'm talking about.
Starting point is 01:06:18 It's not me. Nah, you got to go. Let me ask you a question. And it's like the caliber of people that she was talking to on my behalf. You know what I'm saying? Yeah, you gotta go. Like, this is when. And not for nothing, what's her name?
Starting point is 01:06:31 Chantre. She could put the word out there. Boom. So now everybody associated with her got mud on their name now. Nah, hell no. Exactly. Do you have a publicist now? No.
Starting point is 01:06:47 I'm going to fight Melissa for it. What the fuck? So you never healed from this trauma. You never went and got another one. You fired her and then that was it? No, I ended up getting another publicist. This was a while ago. This was a long time ago.
Starting point is 01:07:02 Did you go to the draft party this year? No, I did not No Was less ESPN party I went to something like I was like an SP part. I put a bunch of SP parties in LA. Stop talking to Corey, please Why are you talking to Cory? Shut up, okay. He asked me a goddamn question shit sometimes we talk to gory when the numbers do good then it's just so crazy shut up shut up you gotta take that she up she up yeah
Starting point is 01:07:36 uh where's we at where's we at what was we on any uh any more music i haven't heard the new uh snow i haven't heard the snow before if you want't heard the Snow. I've heard it before if you want. Give us a little clip. Come on, we clip him down. I didn't see it. Click him down. Clippin' him down. Another single. It's just a single.
Starting point is 01:07:51 What's the record called? Wait a Little Longer. Wait a Little Longer by Snow. We love you Snow, friend of the show. Oh, she won me over already. Yeah, very musical. Got me. Oh, lost me. Oh, I'm back.
Starting point is 01:08:21 There you go. Make that bass dance. Uh-oh. if I go make that bass dance Oh Oh this fire Lil Uzi need this AHH WOAH WOAH WOAH Hey Uh oh
Starting point is 01:08:42 Heyyyyy Here we go Hey. Was it a mistake? Uh-oh. Hey. Here we go. Some don't know who does. You know, I tried. And it took a little buzz to sunshine. And it doesn't get no better by midnight. Feelings fade.
Starting point is 01:08:58 And I'm getting closer every day. And I'm done holding onto what ain't meant to be mine. All right. Very musical. Very musical. I might need to hear that on the bigs. I'm not too mad at it. I need to hear some more.
Starting point is 01:09:13 Yeah. Seems like an album cut more than a single, but hey. The three records that she's released have seemed down. They've seemed a little just slower. Not this one, but just lower energy. They seem like album cuts. Yeah. More so than singles.
Starting point is 01:09:36 Well, stop doing that. It's an interesting approach. I'm wondering what the thought process is. I do like this better than the songs that we've heard better than the last project, which was seemed intentionally more up. Yeah, a lot more up. And maybe that's why this sounds down. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:51 And they do sound like you're releasing album cuts. Yeah. Where's the single? Where's the record? Yeah. I haven't heard it yet. They're all good. It just doesn't sound like a single, which I'm okay with. I'm not looking for a single from Snow, really. Label probably is. I want to hear the record
Starting point is 01:10:07 that could be not the one that you made to be right and I guess I'll get that when the album comes out shout out to Snow can't wait to hear it
Starting point is 01:10:15 Joe we were having a conversation off mic about how short the reign of being hot is today yeah cause you asked me if I heard Redacted
Starting point is 01:10:24 and I said no I'm not rushing to hear that shit. It's over. The rain on the top was short like leprechauns. It seems like today, being the hottest rapper in the world is very short-lived. Like one album cycle, a year and a half.
Starting point is 01:10:40 Yeah. If that. Two years. Two and a half years if it's long. But the days of, yo yo i just dropped this project i'm on every i'm the hot feature i'm not yeah that shit is over with uh and when i say that i'm thinking about little baby uh i'm thinking about dirk i'm thinking about the baby i'm thinking about meg I'm thinking about anybody within the last five years that has held the title of hottest rapper in the world.
Starting point is 01:11:09 Yeah, it's been quick. It's been quick. It runs really, really, really fast, yo. And it seemed like the people who combat that best are the people that don't drop. Or just feature you
Starting point is 01:11:23 down for years. who cardi 21 savage uh nikki and dropped in some years not that she's in those conversations but she's out of that that conversation like if you're just not dropping but you active and you find a way to be relevant still, then you know what? That's a good boat to be in. You know what I think it is? Oversaturation. Yeah. They're rushing. They're putting out long projects. Deluxe feature everywhere. It's like you just flood in the market and you burn yourself out real quick.
Starting point is 01:12:03 It's flooding the market and you burn yourself out real quick. And if you don't really change too much, people can get tired of hearing the exact same thing over and over and over and over. Outside of the people who are core fans of you. You don't grow. You don't grow your audience anymore if you just keep putting the same record out. And a lot of them put out the same record 30 times on the long album. And then we'll feature you doing the same thing that I did on the album. And then it's like I stay in this pocket.
Starting point is 01:12:24 Yeah. So, yeah, the people that love you, cool. We love it but you you're not really gonna grow you know what I feel you now that is the other thing that happens a lot now these people's sound be their sound so when they take off they take off with that sound but then they might not be able to match that the peak of that sound as they continue to do sound like when dirt come on way I want to hear that all the other shit that shit I heard a little piece of it sound like sound like dirt again but it's not you know it ain't that it ain't I don't respond to shit with Vaughn. Go get your guns.
Starting point is 01:13:06 What the fuck is you talking about? I need to feel. Yeah, I need that. I need that energy. I feel bad for rappers today. Yeah. And they're kind of forced to play the numbers game, I feel like. They're encouraged by the current industry.
Starting point is 01:13:22 And the fact that you don't really make no money off albums. So I better put out two of these shits a year at least. Drop one, I got to deluxe you again with another full project. I just got to... Ebro said... Flood the market. Ebro said
Starting point is 01:13:33 that he's hearing rumblings, and I'm not talking about Ebro from Hot 97 now, I'm talking about Ebro from Apple. When that Ebro hears rumblings, you should listen. He said he's hearing rumblings, you should listen. He said he's hearing rumblings that the labels are deprioritizing
Starting point is 01:13:48 signing rappers, period. And they are looking to sign the Latin Acts African Caribbean Acts. That makes a lot of sense. It does. That sounds like it matches what's going on
Starting point is 01:14:02 today. The scene. Yeah. It's sad, man. It is sad. That's sad. I mean, but those are the ones that's,
Starting point is 01:14:09 that's what's hot right now. Hot, the numbers are going up. Sales are going up in those markets. That's it. What is hot? Okay,
Starting point is 01:14:16 the rap train is slowing down a little bit. Cool. What's the wave right now? A lot of people got mad at me with my old Afrobeats because I said the word wave and they felt a problem with that. Afrobeats has been around for over 10 years etc etc i'm just
Starting point is 01:14:30 saying here in the united states it's a way feels like a wave understood i didn't mean that in any disrespect but it really feels like a wave where i don't i'm not gonna say out of nowhere but as of recent there's been an insurgence of just Afrobeats music. Yeah I think Lotto just dropped a single with I'm not from I'm not I don't know which Afrobeats artist but it's like making this rounds. But this is what happens when it's something is hot. That didn't just tell us anything. But when something is hot they everybody playing the numbers game sees what's hot.
Starting point is 01:15:03 Yeah. So now it's okay we need you to do this push you over this dirt yeah they're playing it for you ice I'm on a limb, they know they see me We never, never, I dedicate my life To you, my life I'm on a limb, they know they see me We never, never, hey, hey. Wait a minute.
Starting point is 01:15:49 V-Mail. Hey, hey. Get low. Y'all two are the most flavorless podcasters. Nah, it's not even that. Like, I can't think of a moment where me personally, I'm going to put that on and listen to it. Ice, all you got to do is go out.
Starting point is 01:16:04 You got to be at the right place at the right time. Because you're flaccid, yo. Because it's going to feel good, Ice. See, that same argument. Look, that same argument is what people told me about the Drake album, that I didn't like the dance album. It was, yo, but you got to go hear it here. But you liked it. You ended up liking it.
Starting point is 01:16:17 No, no, I did not. You said you liked Controla, didn't you? No, that, I'm talking about the Drake. I'm talking about the Drake. Flip, you're talking about 10 years ago. Honestly, never mind. I don't know about none of that shit, but. But what I'm saying is, Drake. I'm talking about the Drake. Flip, you're talking about 10 years ago. Honestly, never mind. I don't know about none of that shit, but. But what I'm saying is, if I got it,
Starting point is 01:16:29 it's the same argument people just say about, oh, the J. Cole. Oh, you just not listening. You got to hear it a certain way. Yo, if I, music is good music. Certain sceneries put like, I don't got to go there to hear it to like it. There was some Soca songs I didn't like.
Starting point is 01:16:44 Then I went to Coney Island to a big shit, and you just watch the crowd. Soca Records, boy. You watch the crowd react, and it makes you listen from a different perspective. Like, oh, shit. It can make you appreciate that song. Of course.
Starting point is 01:16:55 100%. Then you tend to go and listen to it, because you see how it's just so much that comes with it. That's not true. Not necessarily. It can, but y'all, this can happen. He's not saying it has to happen. He, but y'all, this can happen. He not saying it has to happen. He's saying this can only happen.
Starting point is 01:17:09 It can happen, but what he saying. But it can happen if y'all not open to it. That's what he saying. If I go somewhere, like I said, like I gave y'all an example. I gave an example at a barbershop. They was playing some shit in there that I would have never went and searched for or listened to nothing. And I'm like, okay, this shit is hard. I don't even know what they saying.
Starting point is 01:17:25 They're Dominican. They had their shit on the screen. And I'm like, okay, this shit is hard. I don't even know what they're saying. They're Dominican. They had their shit on the screen. That's how I've been there. Taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka, taka. All that shit hard. That shit fire. Taka, taka, taka, taka. I listened to that whole shit.
Starting point is 01:17:38 Like the shit you play Pepas. Hard. I would have never looked for that record. You know what I'm saying? You couldn't escape that record. But if you're not in these clubs and you're not going out like that, you can't escape the record. I don't think, not that one.
Starting point is 01:17:54 I never heard that record until you played it and it was a smash apparently. You got to get out of Elizabeth. It's not about that. It's not about that, bro. I want to say something to the, you guys out there, you know, Dominicans, you have to thank the barbers
Starting point is 01:18:07 out of the Dominican Republic that have them girls dancing to the music while you're getting haircuts. Those made me search the songs and now I'm a fan of your music. The girls that's dancing while you're getting a haircut,
Starting point is 01:18:19 twerking and shit, salute. Shout out to Dominican barbers in Dominica. Shout out to Dominican barbers. Dominican Republic, sorry. Yeah, clap for them niggas. I was against that for a long time. Clap Dominica. Dominican Republic. Sorry. Yeah. Clap for them niggas. I was gonna get that
Starting point is 01:18:27 for a long time. Clap for them niggas. That's hate. You said Dominicas? Dominican Republic. But it is. Clap for them niggas. He'll make you clap.
Starting point is 01:18:35 Yeah. Clap. And you a hater. Let me get at you. I'm a hater. I'm gonna be respectful because you my sister so I have to be mindful
Starting point is 01:18:43 of what I'm gonna say. Okay. But let's talk about Soka real quick. N-T-M-O-M. All right. All right. Not too much. All right.
Starting point is 01:18:57 Let me just ask you a question. Go ahead. If somebody you're interested in is coming from a Caribbean background, and they bring you to a soaker party you're hilarious you're fucking hilarious I'm done salute
Starting point is 01:19:09 so now we all have to sit on the outside of the inside joke no I can't do it because once she say I'm hilarious that's her sign
Starting point is 01:19:18 for me to shut the fuck up say it no go ahead you want me to get my shit off yeah oh alright cool alright the nigga man I want me to get my shit off? Yeah. Oh, all right.
Starting point is 01:19:25 Cool. All right. The nigga Mel interested in. Get my shit off for real? Don't say his motherfucking name. All right. The nigga Mel interested in is a Caribbean nigga. OK.
Starting point is 01:19:36 Yeah, and I'm just telling her. She said that she didn't agree with what we said about pertaining to the soca music. I don't know if that's a specific genre, but I'm saying to her that if the nigga that you like bring you to a soca party and start holding them hits and teach you how to, you with it. You know, what I was saying- If you was going to go crazy at the ESPN party, the soca party might have done it. What I was saying- That Trinidad nigga will fuck your life up. All right, my fault.
Starting point is 01:19:56 What I was saying is that you can go somewhere where music is being played and everybody, like it's a festive kind of atmosphere, but you're not necessarily going to go home and play the records for you because the atmosphere is what made it attractive. Have you ever heard a song in the atmosphere and went in your car and searched it up or shazammed it? Yeah, that's definitely happened, but the opposite is also true. Okay, got you. I can hear a record played in a certain environment and appreciate it there. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:20:23 And if I ain't in that environment, I don't need to hear that song anymore. And you're appreciating how everybody's reacting to it. Like, Caravana, nothing but Soca. You know what I mean? What do you mean? They were seeing some videos. They was mad. They was playing trap music up there.
Starting point is 01:20:35 No, no. And it was hot. So growing up in Canada, Caravana was, you know, the thing, like, every summer, you know, and that's what they played. So trap music in Carabana, I see why they're upset. It was hot.
Starting point is 01:20:48 Yeah, it breaks a several decades long tradition. And Soca music in my car do the same shit. Gotcha. Breaks the tradition. I don't want to hear it. Yeah. So at Carabana, I love Soca music. Am I playing it in my car? Never. Nice. Oh, so you're in front. Salute. I got it.
Starting point is 01:21:06 No, I mean... What are you saying under your seat? Yeah. What are you talking to you? NTO. Damn. NTO. How's your weekend looking?
Starting point is 01:21:16 Real quick. Who's mine? Yeah. This is a trap, by the way. No plans this weekend. Good. How's your weekend looking? Oh, I see the trap. I see it.
Starting point is 01:21:24 Yeah, my weekend looks amazing. Parks? Going to a Dominican baby shower. It's going to be weekend. Good. How's your weekend looking? Oh, I see the trap. I see it. Yeah, my weekend looks amazing. Parks? Going to a Dominican baby shower. It's going to be lit. Nice. Oh, that's going to end what? Thursday?
Starting point is 01:21:31 Hopefully. Melissa Ford, how's your weekend looking? I'm hanging with friends. That sounded lie-y. Hanging with friends? You sure? Yeah. Okay.
Starting point is 01:21:50 Fam, y'all are going to drive me crazy. Hanging with friends. Just hanging with friends. She's hanging with friends. Just hanging with friends. Peace of advice. Stop telling flip shit. Apparently so.
Starting point is 01:21:56 That's all. Don't tell her shit right now. You agree with this nigga right now, I'll blow you up. That's it. Don't tell her nothing. Flip nine. Big joke. So, yo, we was talking,
Starting point is 01:22:07 off of the, how short it is, your run being hotline. These labels don't want to invest in longevity for artists. But it made me question. They want to catch a flash in the pan and milk it. Milk it and get you out of here.
Starting point is 01:22:19 Also, on that point that y'all was making about them going to just Latin acts and African acts. Like they might be getting, they might be throwing some extra funny shit in the paperwork with these acts. Not just because they're the most popular, but they might be the most profitable for some other reasons. True. And they may be able to gain more. Yeah. Not 360. Was that the 360? 10.
Starting point is 01:22:46 10 ADP. 10 ADP. Could be a couple of 10 ADP. He's right. Joe's right. What'd you say, Parks? I don't even remember. But I do.
Starting point is 01:22:56 I understand the thought process with Spanish music and Afro beats because it transitions more worldwide. The market's much bigger. It makes sense. Hip-hop does too. Not in the same way, I don't think. There's much more Spanish-speaking countries than there are.
Starting point is 01:23:16 Yeah, but I'm just saying these countries, they don't even understand English, but they know hip-hop records and songs and stuff. Like over in Europe, our legacy hip-hop acts go where you make a career over there because they can sell out where they can't sell out here Asia yeah especially well that's cool we're gonna get his bad bunny the next bad bunny though he's a burner boy this is he's I don't listen to music but
Starting point is 01:23:41 they said bad bunny is him yes He is. He is him. Yeah. He would have gotten that ESPN part. No matter what. No matter what. No matter what. Oh, yeah. And wouldn't have called after. Yo, you are a cunt.
Starting point is 01:23:54 Now, what's up? No, no, no. Me plus 25. Yeah, yeah. 100. They all with me. Yeah. My 25 plus need 25 plus too.
Starting point is 01:24:03 Yeah. Don't worry. We'll make room. we'll make room we'll make room um but yo i just wanted to ask y'all um because we since we were talking about short runs and everything the the the opposite of that the longest run of relevancy in hip-hop music musically jay-z relevancy he's still relevant no he just doesn't he's not relevant musically he's not as relevantly music holes not relevant musically when he dropped we have to be Wayne gotta be Wayne
Starting point is 01:24:34 yes yes he came out what 97 98 some like that he has to be yeah hip- yeah. It would be tough to argue that one. Who else? That is good. Yeah, Wayne. Wayne's even close. Nobody. Nas. Actually.
Starting point is 01:24:57 But he went through a period of... I don't have him anywhere near close to Wayne. Not with Wayne. Nas came out in 1991. True. But the relevancy part, there's a gap where he wasn't relevant. And now I'm talking about Wayne has kind of remained relevant. Wayne had some quiet years.
Starting point is 01:25:17 A quiet year or two, it's not a stretch of quiet for Wayne. It really hasn't been. You say Wayne, I say Nas. You just be trying to get your... Nas came out in 1991 and just won a Grammy two years ago. And is still dropping projects that people are...
Starting point is 01:25:30 But he wasn't hot the whole time. He wasn't... He was still selling records. He wasn't... Dead in the water. He was in a milk box. Like, he was still
Starting point is 01:25:40 selling records. Still Maddie came out when? Still Maddie was 0 selling records. Still Mad It came out when? Still Mad It was 01. 01 or 02. Maybe it was 02. I think 02. Might have been 02. One album is after Still Mad It.
Starting point is 01:25:53 Life is Good, right? No. Life is Good was 2012. Yeah. He had Distant Relatives. He had the Untitled. Then he had Hip Hop is Dead. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Streets Disciple. Yeah. Streets Disciple. Streets Disciple. Yeah. That whole run, I don't think nobody was calling Nas that. I don't think he was in the hottest rapper in the world conversation. He wasn't relevant. I'm not going to say relevant, but he wasn't in the hottest rapper in the world conversation during that run.
Starting point is 01:26:21 Maybe not. Maybe not. I don't know that Wayne was the hottest rapper in the world what was the question again just the longest oh run longest relevant run oh I gotta shut up then
Starting point is 01:26:29 cause yeah Nas is in there they don't say nothing about hot it says longest relevant run and for Nas to still be going
Starting point is 01:26:39 and be relevant yeah and even if those albums weren't well received I'm sure that they probably went gold. I don't care about this all. I know,
Starting point is 01:26:50 but if we're talking about we have to have a barometer for relevance. Yeah, my friends. It's your name. Touche. Touche. But Wayne would be number two.
Starting point is 01:27:06 I still got Wayne one Alright now it's Wayne I can't think of anybody else I can't Still a good one I remember back in the day I back in the days Draw enough last part But
Starting point is 01:27:17 Back in my day man You kids It was LL Busta Rhymes Busta yeah those were the unheralded
Starting point is 01:27:28 runs uh yeah it was almost like you would when LL was doing it 20 years in hip hop seemed impossible
Starting point is 01:27:37 yeah word that's a fact that's true now it just seemed like now Nas is like a walk in the park like everybody's celebrating LeBron being in year 20 in his career,
Starting point is 01:27:47 but Kevin Durant isn't going into year 17. It's a lot. It's a long fucking time. At that level. At that level. That's what it is. It's nuts. It's nuts.
Starting point is 01:28:00 You got to salute it, man. That's a nice change of pace. It's nice to see longevity. Hats off. Hats off. Hats off. Did Plyce fuck Britney Spears? Maybe. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:28:14 It seems like it would be his dream fucking come true. Did he say he did? He loves him some Britney. He didn't say he did, but Britney's getting a divorce. And her husband is accusing her of stepping out on him. No. That that's the reason for the divorce, is that she cheated and that she was abusive. Well, we know that part.
Starting point is 01:28:34 We know she was abusive. I could look at her, how she danced, and she was fucking him up. Those videos feel abusive to me. Yeah, for sure. I have been abused. The whole plaza, Brittany abused but underneath the comments a Bible's like yo this plaza for now I don't know if that's just a running thing like blaming everything on ice no not I used to somebody really blame
Starting point is 01:28:57 shit on was it doja can not do it again this is all um it's somebody blame everything on and that that person comes out and speaks out against this like a thing now for years. But anyway, I got a brain freeze. I want to know if Fly's fucked Britney Spears. I think he would have told us. I think you have to be a wild boy
Starting point is 01:29:19 to insert yourself in there. Why? Maybe just a little bit bored. I fucked the shit out of Britney Spears. I'd fuck the shit out of Britney Spears. Wait, what? I'd fuck fire out of Britney Spears, nigga. Shut up.
Starting point is 01:29:32 Shut up. Or that crazy dancer, nigga. No, you would not. Britney Spears could hang me off of a balcony and get me face off, nigga. I'm taking it, nigga. She crazy with all that shit, nigga. For real?
Starting point is 01:29:43 Yeah. Britney Spearsars the type that you can fuck in a restaurant nigga or some ill shit you wanna do something crazy
Starting point is 01:29:50 do you wanna get kinky with me hit me baby one more time Britney Spears poor Britney yeah
Starting point is 01:30:03 it's just so crazy to watch like yo I don't wanna It's just so crazy to watch somebody, like, yo, I don't want to unpack, because, you know, but to watch how they go from that to, she was her, bro. She really was. She was. She was. She was fire, son.
Starting point is 01:30:19 Fox. Pharrell, man. Yeah, Pharrell, for real, girl. Da-da-da-da. Niggas hell. Just listen. All you people look at me like I'm a little girl. That's why they took all that money.
Starting point is 01:30:38 Look at you like you was a little girl. Give us that shit. And she got an album coming. Does she? Yes. What? Ice. You serious? Yes. Britney Spears got an album coming. Does she? Yes. What? Ice. You serious? Yes. Britney Spears has an album coming. And I'm
Starting point is 01:30:50 copping it. I know she's not the drill act that you're used to, but... Yeah, she got some slap. She might be drilling on there. She got Fabio on there. She got some slap. And I bet that would be fire. Fire. Fabio kill that. She's my man. I love Fabio.
Starting point is 01:31:07 I've learned that the rest of the country don't love him as much as me, but I love him. Why you think they don't love him, Joe? I love him. I think he's amazing. Because every time I speak highly of Fabio, niggas be like, yo, yo, here go y'all with that New York shit. That shit, he only sold such and such amount of records. That shit.
Starting point is 01:31:22 Get the fuck out of here. I really do want to know what happened, though, because he was poised. Like, that album was supposed to be much better than it was. I was shocked. Like, a lot of people, when I listen to Fabio, Pop, and all that. Boo, I like that album. A lot of people master a sound.
Starting point is 01:31:36 He has his own sound of how he rap. Yes. I like that. I love it. On any record he could do it on. And I like when he come on a record, it's almost like they alter the beat for his sound. You hear the- You gotta be an A&R, son.
Starting point is 01:31:50 Yeah, you hear it. Every time. I don't care what kind of record it is, you know he's on it because as soon as you start to hear that, it's like, oh, he can really go kill his shit. He might go crazy. I used to get you like 15 niggas and put in 720 deals up here on Joe Bud Records. Get a record. He know his shit.
Starting point is 01:32:08 I fuck with Ice when it comes to music. So then we need to start Ice Records. How come I needed to get involved for Ice to have the label? We got to use you. I'm going to keep it real. We got to use you. But he can use my name on his label. We want to use you, nigga.
Starting point is 01:32:20 We want you to be involved, nigga. So if something go wrong, they look at you. Joe, he did it again. And we can go survive. survived oh shit i had an old pal of mine that used to come to me every other month about getting down on some music i'm like nigga leave me just go put it leave me alone why won't you do it i don't want to do no music you know you could identify all i don't want to co-sign i don't want to be on a jv i don't want to do none i don't want to do nothing music do you give them a reason why because i said so because i want to be on a JV. I don't want to do nothing. I don't want to do nothing music. Do you give them a reason why? Yeah, because I said so.
Starting point is 01:32:46 Yeah, because I want to do it. That's the reason. But people who love you want to know. Like, you lost passion for it? Because you always come in here and talk about music. Like, you'd be an A&R, too, if you wanted to. Nigga, you get hot. Somebody Google what the head A&R or president A&R makes.
Starting point is 01:33:03 Not much. No, right? They don't make a lot of money? I don't know that. I mean, they make good money. They make good money. That's right. It depends on their-
Starting point is 01:33:12 We still won't Google it. I'm not Googling it. Why? I have actively looked at A&R jobs, and it's not that much money. Oh, shit, Pox. He hasn't looked recently. I have. Recently?
Starting point is 01:33:23 Yes. Shit, what? What are you trying to leave us, nigga? No. Park! Whoa! Whoa! Park!
Starting point is 01:33:30 Whoa! Turn him on his... Oh, my God. I can't lose Park. Park, stop! You've been trying to get a secret gig. A secret gig? Oh, my God!
Starting point is 01:33:42 I'm shocked at you, dog. I got to pee. I'm shocked. I got to pee. I'm shocked at you, dog. I gotta pee. I'm shocked at you. I gotta pee. I'm shocked at you. Parks! Okay, so it says that A&R...
Starting point is 01:33:55 94 to 120K per year. Yeah, it's not... That ain't the most. It's not that much money. Now, before we get into that, Parks, why are you looking for an A&R gig? What happened? I would like to be in A&R potentially really yeah potentially
Starting point is 01:34:13 Hmm where you know where no that don't matter as much. I mean it Makes sense I do Yeah to get paid for it correct. There's like an extra gig. Yeah, I wouldn't be leaving here not for I leaving here not for respect i didn't think that but to answer that to answer your question as to why i never looked to do that i kind of knew what some of the positions that the labels make yeah got it got it that's i'm not working for a label for 130 grand or 250 grand or 500 grand what did what is the president of the label make that I don't know let's look it up I would imagine it's interesting figures interesting information for for the fans to know let's see this this says yeah but this
Starting point is 01:34:59 don't count Lucien Grange, 320 million. He don't count. Yeah, no, no, no. Because he ain't really the president. This is the chairman. Right. Nah, I mean the president of the label. I bet it would be high six, low seven.
Starting point is 01:35:19 Yeah, I think low seven. Yeah. Nobody found it yet on Google? I can't find it. No, it just keeps naming names. It depends on their background and shit like that. If you're a celebrity type of president, you probably. That's why today's landscape is so interesting, right? Because let's say top of the top at the labels is low seven figures.
Starting point is 01:35:40 And you got Twitchers making that. Yeah. Yeah. You got YouTubers making that. You got twitchers making that yeah yeah you got youtubers making that you got tiktokers making that they need that they need to have more incentives to get like the people that are passionate about music and might be good at the job reason to do it right like i would do it even at that low salary as long as i was able to do my shit regular what you mean?
Starting point is 01:36:05 Like, I guess part-time for lack of a better term. Yeah. So don't interfere in your normal. Okay. But I think that would be valuable to a label
Starting point is 01:36:13 is to have someone that actually gives a fuck and has done things in the industry and has experience and has connections and all that shit. I've been approached
Starting point is 01:36:20 about consulting gigs with labels. But I need, I need. It's consulting gigs with labels. But I need... It's not enough. I hate to sound like that, but it's true today. Time is money. Yeah. It's valuable.
Starting point is 01:36:34 Yeah. So if you want me to put my time into something, you have to make it worth my time. There's nothing wrong with that. That is literally the equivalent of knowing your value. There was a time when I was on these labels and some of the big dogs making two or three million. That just seems so out of this world for the people on the lower end of the totem pole.
Starting point is 01:36:53 And I'm grateful it's not like that today. What else we got? What else, what else, what else, what else we got that is important, unimportant? When you talk about music, Drake is on tour, and it's been a thing where the women have been throwing their bras at him. It has. And purses.
Starting point is 01:37:13 Yeah. He was giving away a Birkin. He did that, too. Yeah. He asked one night not to throw anything because he had his son in the building. Okay. One night, he asked not to throw anything. My son is here.
Starting point is 01:37:24 It's his first show. So that, but then- Did they respect it? Yes. Oh, that's good. But- Somebody threw their boxers at him.
Starting point is 01:37:32 Yeah. Ew. Tell me why we have to care about it. Who knows, buddy? Is there a take? It's fucking funny. I'd be mad as hell if I was sitting next to the dude
Starting point is 01:37:41 that got butt ass and threw his boxers on the stage. What you doing, yo? What the fuck is you doing? You should just hang it out while I'm trying to enjoy my pina colada and drink. What song did he throw them to? 21. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:37:59 Do something for me. That's the perfect song to throw these boxes at Drake. Do y'all see all this? Every part I'm talking about this little Bobby girl now, but Bobby and Dave Portnoy. I watched it. Beef. I watched a little bit of it.
Starting point is 01:38:16 Sorry. I didn't know what beef stemmed from it. Yeah, there's a beef. Okay, what was the beef? Over weather. She wants that shit to come out or something? David Portnoy, I guess they said they were addressing a rumor that Bobby had been intimate with Drake and was getting a divorce.
Starting point is 01:38:43 Oh, okay. So he DM'd her about it. Okay. And she replied, but I guess when he addressed it on his shit with his people, the way that they clipped it up, left it out there like,
Starting point is 01:38:55 hey, this could be true that she's getting a divorce and she slept with Drake and that's not true. She responded and said- She responded and said, no, that's not true. That's not true. Dave responded and said... She responded and said, no, that's not true. Dave responded and said,
Starting point is 01:39:07 I didn't think it was. He apologized for the way that his team edited and manipulated the clip with the cliffhanger. But I mean, that's good. Good podcasting. That's podcast tricks.
Starting point is 01:39:20 It was pretty interesting to see her not in character in the interview. Yeah. I thought so. Yeah. I thought so. Yeah. I thought so. That's all I got.
Starting point is 01:39:29 Yeah. I didn't see it. Hey, yo, Pinky Doll, OnlyFans leak. Who? Pinky Doll. She's a girl that is on TikTok, and she says, yum, yum. She's portraying an NPC. NPC.
Starting point is 01:39:43 Y'all got it. The NPC? Yeah. Nah, in, in, in, in. So like in the video games, you play like a... Non-playable character. You play like GTA.
Starting point is 01:39:51 But if you're telling her to say things, doesn't that make her a playable character? No, she says things based off of, like if you purchased a little gift. Yeah, if you tip her. And when they pop up on the screen, she responds. I mean, I watched it.
Starting point is 01:40:03 I watched her OnlyFans. I'm sorry. You watched her OnlyFans? I socialed up this morning, yeah. Yeah, if you tip her. And when they pop up on the screen, she was... I mean, I watched it. I watched her OnlyFans. I'm sorry. You watched her OnlyFans? I searched it up this morning, yeah. I'm so sick of 2023. 2020. You know, this year... Was she doing the NPC shit while she was...
Starting point is 01:40:14 No, she was actually on some freaky shit. In the car. Everywhere. She was on some porn shit. Salute. Nah, the more... That's the story? No, no, no.
Starting point is 01:40:23 The story in that is... She's going to find out. She's talking about she's suing. I still don't know who she is, but. No, no, no. The story in that is, which she's going to find out. She's talking about she's suing. I still don't know who she is, but I mean, it's funny. She rose to quick stardom because her TikTok videos went viral. Because of, I know, I know. She's just a nobody. Is she a rapper as well? She didn't put a rap song out.
Starting point is 01:40:41 You can normally become a rapper. Capitalized off of the attention you got. And Timbaland was her top tipper. Remember? Oh, yeah, yeah. I wanted to say that. Oh, wait.
Starting point is 01:40:49 How old is this girl? She's 27. Okay. That's how old she is. All right, so go ahead, Timbaland. Get your shit off. Yeah. Yeah, nothing wrong with that.
Starting point is 01:40:58 She raps. He makes beats. It's only right. It's only right. It's a musical marriage. That's it. That's right. So anyway only right. It's a musical marriage. That's it. That's right. So anyway, her popularity, of course, led to people start looking her up.
Starting point is 01:41:11 And they found out, oh shit, she got OnlyFans. What a lot of people don't tend to realize is just because it's behind a paywall don't mean to stay there. I've told y'all that about Patreon. True. No, it goes goes out it's out so she then found out she just searched her name plus naked
Starting point is 01:41:29 and all of her content was available on the internet so she's saying she's filing lawsuits against she's suing everybody Google and it's like you can't
Starting point is 01:41:39 sue them they're just a hosting platform which she's gonna learn but it's more so the conversation there is people understanding that when you put someone on the internet to them they're just a hosting platform which she's gonna learn but it's more so the the conversation there is people understanding that when you put someone on the internet it's out you can't really control it like you think you could none of it you don't want to set y'all talking about the bobby girl certain shit is they have options to clip it make it look however you
Starting point is 01:42:03 want like once you start giving people your words your thoughts your your pictures your image whatever they can do whatever they want to do it and put it out and there's nothing you can do about it so if you don't want it out don't say it don't put it out there don't show it you can't control the internet that's really what the base point is and a lot of I've seen a lot of creators trying to sue this place because, oh, y'all have my, you know, you put me on X videos. Okay, well now you got to track them down. They're based in some European country or something. Hold on, but real quick, real quick.
Starting point is 01:42:33 There is services that you can pay. Yeah, you got to hire the company. Pay for it. I could delete all that shit. Yeah, you can DCMA everything, but now somebody reuploads it. No, we talking about firms. Talk about it. It is their job
Starting point is 01:42:48 to stay on top of it. Make sure everything is down. It's like content publishing. Yeah. Where it's their job. You can re-upload it all you want. That same company is going to be on your ass.
Starting point is 01:42:58 These people that take my shit, I have a company. I could call and say, yeah, get them right there. I don't, because promo. You look at it different, yeah. a sort of company you do yeah cuz they flagged your ass right they don't found tricks around them companies and shit no they didn't yes they have I don't want to call a nigga name but it's
Starting point is 01:43:19 a nigga that did some salacious stuff on the internet from Harlem mm-hmm and all you can't find it. It's gone. No, what I'm saying is, uploaders have found a way. No, listen. Uploaders have found a way around it. They do things like they alter certain things. They'll flip the video around.
Starting point is 01:43:33 I've seen videos that, oh, okay, I see how this one is still up when the other one was taken down. I've also seen examples here where we looked for something. I forgot who it was. Maybe it was Neo or something like that. And that shit was...
Starting point is 01:43:42 You got to pay the top dollar to get them niggas. It's people that's dedicated 24-7. They got little things in the algorithm that identify certain facial features, certain structures, that as soon as they get a click, they press a button. And on top of that, once they actually take it down, if you put it back up, they can file a lawsuit against you. That's the DCMA shit. A lot of sites got taken down like that forever. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:07 Some of our favorite file hosting sites are gone. Dead. Well, while I don't know this Pinky Dolls young lady, congratulations, or I'm sorry that happened to you. and I don't plan on getting familiar with your work, but I do think that we needed a new pinky because it's the pinky I grew up to. That's thumbnail. Yeah. No, you hit that.
Starting point is 01:44:37 Or just thumb. That's bad, got bad. Got bad. By the time she was doing hosting the Jersey Girls. It was like, dog, y'all paying for, forget it, man. It's like she the only girl that didn't get the lipo hookup.

Starting point is 01:45:21 Or some Ozembic. Ozembic? I don't know what that is. Ozembic is the diabetes tube. I don't know what that is. What is that? Ozembic is the diabetes tooth. Oh, the pill. No, the shot.
Starting point is 01:45:29 That was an injection. Injection. Diabetes medicine. They're taking a pill out there now to lose weight. Well, go V. Are you on a pill? No. You don't need it.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Unless you're trying to be a juicy. Oh, you don't want to be a juicy hamburger. No, I like being slim thick right now. Oh. Okay. All right. How much do you weigh? How much do I weigh?
Starting point is 01:45:53 Yeah. 144. How tall are you? 5'4". Oh, yes. Sorry. Thank you. She looks good. She looks good.

Sit home until you get miserable. Can't make it. Let's extend I'm about to say. You know what? Sit home again. Sit home until you get miserable. Can't make it. Let's extend this experience. Starting point is 01:54:09 Got it. The Post reported it too early, and Stephen A. jumped out. Hey, that's not true. He did not sign yet, but I'm doing everything in my power, and we're going to make sure that this happens. I may have asked this on a Patreon that's not released yet, but I want to ask it here anyway. Would everyone here honor a handshake agreement? Yes.
Starting point is 01:54:27 I don't have a handshake. Yeah. Yes. Yeah. I've had an issue where we had a handshake agreement and they didn't honor it. On the other hand. Stop playing with me.
Starting point is 01:54:40 I'm going to let this know now. This is the public. This is the past. Stop playing me. I didn't say that. You said some shit to me in the hallway I didn't say that you don't want them to

I heard about Lil Wayne. Lil Wayne. And there's one more athlete involved that I don't remember. Oh, Chris Carter. Okay.
Starting point is 01:55:50 Chris Carter. So they're going by committee. Listen, I do not doubt Skip's ability to put together. Some people just know how to produce. Yeah. He's done it time and time again. He's responsible for all of the debate shit in the scene currently. He's responsible for too many prominent black men in the scene speaking.
Starting point is 01:56:15 He's going to put it together. It may not be by August 28th when they're supposed to come back, but you got to work out the kinks. If you give me Richard Sherman and Lil Wayne, I think I could put it together. Yeah. I look forward to seeing what they do. And I'd like to hear from,

Starting point is 01:58:20 I am out of here, buddy. Party's over. Ice, are these your keys? Yeah. You got the mace on it? No. Yes, he does. He got mace on his keys.
Starting point is 01:58:37 Wait, Ice. Nah, leave my man alone. What's up? I'm listening. Talk to me. No, don't do your little ish foot wax wagging me. All right, you got to stop, yo.
Starting point is 01:58:49 No, I don't. Glow up. What's wrong with my key? Can we see? Can I see? That's big baller shit right there. That's all. You just changing.
Starting point is 01:59:02 It don't really go the true religion short, but when you change... Look, I rushed it. This would't really go with the true religion shorts. But when you change. Look, I rushed it. This will be late. Damn, Ice, this is nice. Ice is balling. It's gold.

Starting point is 01:59:21 It's your window. This nigga's like shaft. Y'all are nuts. Why'd you really hit Ice? I'm me. Oh, brother. Let's see. Yes, we always have one.
Starting point is 01:59:35 We always have one. Part of the show. We need relationship help. We make music. I haven't read this yet, but it looks like relationship help. Let's see. Yeah. Fellas and Mel.
Starting point is 01:59:46 Hi. What's happening? First, thank you for the work y'all do. I'm going to serious y'all out, but I'll try to end on a light note. Thanks. Okay. You're welcome. I am in the middle of a divorce from my wife who has either borderline personality disorder or narcissistic personality disorder according to our couples therapy
Starting point is 02:00:06 before the separation. Shit got ugly quick. She has restraining order on me based on lies. I was smart enough to always have a video running. You better buddy. Toys have a video running but she still bought herself
Starting point is 02:00:22 mumps alone in the house we own together. Not to mention she has our dog oh my god save the dog save the dog uh not to mention she has our dog which hurts more than the house i tried and was denied and was denied advancing the court date just the other day her games have left me dead broke between lawyer fees, paying for a home I don't live in, and debt, which she refuses to pay until a judge orders her to. My mental health is all fucked up. The pod helps.
Starting point is 02:00:54 Oh, thanks, buddy. Thanks. After my motion failed, it brought her another seven weeks despite me not having a chance to defend myself. Oh, I've been here. I've been here.
Starting point is 02:01:04 This is nasty. This is nasty. It's sad. Having just got this news, it's hard to fathom how I will make it that long. I've already been out of control of my own life for years. My question is, how did y'all make it through the times you thought you might not? I think it should be highlighted that women can be the abuser in relationships yeah mel what's the most toxic shit you've done to a partner during or after a relationship don't let her off easy fellas i love you love you mel okay
Starting point is 02:01:40 so really really just asking mel a question he hit us with all of that and then ended with just asking Mel some toxic shit she did he just going through it well he asked a question he did ask a question
Starting point is 02:01:52 oh yeah he did ask a question how did we make it through the times that we thought we might not loaded that's a really loaded question
Starting point is 02:02:01 very loaded for me faith higher power a strong network network, my parents, my family, my friend group, my children, my children, my greatest joy on earth, my babies, my kids. Like, I just thought about the things that I love most in this world at a time when I wasn't able to love myself the way I properly needed to. Yeah. On top of friends and family, mine would be like work
Starting point is 02:02:27 and passion, career, hobbies, working out, making music, shit like that. Staying busy. Family and the network
Starting point is 02:02:36 is of course at the top. Yeah. Distractions. Yeah. It's easier said than done, but find something to take your mind off of it. It could be work. It could be of it. It could be work.
Starting point is 02:02:45 It could be working out, whatever. A hobby, something to distract you from this. That's mine or vice skits. Mine is not skits, but what it is is that, you know,
Starting point is 02:03:02 family, right? Like you said, family and also work. Distraction and work. I always think about I have something to accomplish. I have a goal, and I'm not going to let anything slow me down. Now it's like I psych myself out.
Starting point is 02:03:18 It's like, you know, it may be unhealthy, but that's what I do. Like, you got to do this. This also shall pass. You know what I mean? And then I look for other, you know, things to distract me and stay focused. Right. Can't sit and harbor on things. Me, if you're asking me, I can't.
Starting point is 02:03:36 I mean. For me, I guess, friends, friend group, activities to distract, like working out. Uh, I feel especially working out. Like I discovered Pilates during a extraordinarily difficult time in my life. And it's just, I found that, um, just kind of centering myself and focusing on the mind body connection helped me to escape the trauma and the intrusive thoughts that I was experiencing and that sort of thing. Also, you know,
Starting point is 02:04:10 both my parents have passed away, so for me, my friends are my family, so my friends have, like, really kind of stepped up for me. But to answer his question about toxic, you know, the shit, the toxic shit I've done in a relationship
Starting point is 02:04:26 would have been it would have been so long ago like when I was like young it's tough to remember I mean you know many years ago maybe once or something when I was a child no I mean when I was 11 and I had this job I was working I had this kid with a crush on me when I was six no somebody else have a job in the living room. No, somebody else had a job. No, but I mean, I guess the toxic shit I did was, you know, cheated. No way. Yeah. That's toxic, right?
Starting point is 02:04:57 Yes. Yes. Okay. It is. Cheating on somebody that really loves you. And being, you know, not exactly being very apologetic about it. Like, that was my toxic shit. Not apologizing.
Starting point is 02:05:11 Again. It was right there. Long running thing. Actually, it's tough, though. If his spouse or ex-spouse really does have a mental health disorder like that. Well, those are like personality disorders. You can't fucking... BPD is deeper
Starting point is 02:05:28 than just personality disorder. It's both. It's both. Yeah. That shit is... That's a lot. Honey.
Starting point is 02:05:34 That's a lot. That's a lot. Yeah. I did yourself a BPD. You went through that before? Yeah, I did. It's tough. Nah, that was
Starting point is 02:05:42 a different Parks. It was. Really? Parks was going through it, yeah. Yeah, hell yeah. Did she disclose that she had it, or did she know she had it when you guys started dating? She let me know that she had emotional issues, but it came to a forefront as far as diagnosis, I think. When things got bad.
Starting point is 02:06:02 Got it. Got it. It's not fun, man. No, no, no. Not for the faint of heart. when things got bad got it got it salute it's it's not fun man no no no not for the faint of heart it's not
Starting point is 02:06:10 yeah as men it's such an important power to know when talking to another man when it's time get about it yup
Starting point is 02:06:18 yup get about you got it you can hear how they talk yeah when it came to the forefront it was rough alright you got it we understand buddy I also like talk. Yeah, when it came to the forefront, it was rough. All right.
Starting point is 02:06:27 We understand, buddy. I also like to be sensitive to the people that deal with the conditions. True. You know what I'm saying? They're going through some shit. Got it. And you can't imagine how to deal with it. No.
Starting point is 02:06:40 It's a lot. Oh, I thought that was my amazing dick that brought that out of her. Okay. I never thought that it could be like a clinical thing Salute I was like damn I did it again Why I keep doing this I dick you down too good Alright alright
Starting point is 02:06:59 I'm here all week DVDs for sale as you exit To your left include some of tonight's bits You know you said you can't get shit off I'm here all week. DVDs for sale as you exit. To your left, include some of tonight's bits. You know you said you can't get shit off that comedian's can. Yeah, that's true. I can't. Slow down. Starting point is 02:07:30 Why y'all don't move? What do you mean move? What's moving? They own the house together. No, I'm talking about the person. Why you don't move away from that person? It's not as easy said as... She got the dog.
Starting point is 02:07:42 She got the dog. And she put him in debt because he still got to pay for this shit. So you're going to stay there? Yeah. Nah. Is he staying there? He's not. He's not.
Starting point is 02:07:56 I'm not talking about him. Okay. Yeah. I'm getting Cujo back. How? I'm going to get my dog back. You're going to take the dog? Yeah. You got a take the dog? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:08:06 You got a doggy door? Leave the basement unlocked, something? Divorce is awful. They got this show right there on Hulu or Netflix somewhere. It's called Mother May I Kill. It's about kids who conspire with their moms to get a murder off. Oh, shit. What the fuck?
Starting point is 02:08:25 Yo, my For You. Yeah, Oh, shit. Yo, my for you. Yeah, yeah, yeah. My little stuff. I'm not surprised. I think it's fire. I checked it. Gotta add that to the list. Hey, I'm flying

Starting point is 02:08:49 I wrote it down. I couldn't remember the name of the show. Every pod. Shit. Couldn't remember the name of the show. We're going on vacation soon.
Starting point is 02:08:54 Hopefully y'all will catch up. If you missed it, we are going on vacation from the 1st to the 5th. See you when we get back. Patronis will be fed. Not like last time for real this time
Starting point is 02:09:06 for real yeah for real this time put a little extra yeah they sent invoices in it's cool so I hope we was able to help yeah
Starting point is 02:09:18 help my man and his name is We Make Music if you ain't gonna make a song about this word go make a song oh shit speaking of songs. I thought we was just getting out of here.
Starting point is 02:09:27 We was just getting out of here, but there's this country slap going around. Uh-oh. You heard that? Who's it? I don't know. You said what? Who was on it? I'm going to find it and play it, but y'all just talk amongst yourselves really quickly.
Starting point is 02:09:43 It was... No, no, no. I'm not race baiting today. No. Cool. I'm not race baiting today. It was like this little known song, and now... So you do know the song? The conservatives have adopted it as like, you know, basically their like anthem at festivals. Okay, I don't know what you're talking about.
Starting point is 02:10:00 Oh, wait, maybe... What song are you talking about? I forget what it's called, but I just saw that thing about it yesterday. Okay, you play the one you found. Yeah. Honey. Okay, sorry. Maybe you're wrong. You might be talking about a slap slap, not a.
Starting point is 02:10:11 I saw some conservatives adopted Lose Yourself as their, that Lose Yourself. Really? Yes. That one? That one. It's like the come out record for the. Didn't he put the Kabash on that
Starting point is 02:10:26 Eminem Yeah Yeah He was like Don't play my shit Don't play my record Don't play my shit I'm selling my soul
Starting point is 02:10:33 Working all day Overtime hours Right Bullshit pay So I can sit out here And waste my life away Drag back home And drown my troubles away. I'm with him.
Starting point is 02:10:47 It's a damn shame. Right. What the world's gotten to. For people like me. People like you. I wish I could just wake up. And it not be true. Is this a conservative anthem?
Starting point is 02:11:00 Yeah. I can see how they could switch it. Living in the new world. Should cut him a buck. This shit hard. No, this shit is making its rounds and blowing up as an independent country song. Gucci man just tweeted, hey, somebody find this guy. I'm a fan. He killed that shit, Lola.
Starting point is 02:11:27 Oh, shit. You got the banjo going, man. I like it. Yeah, look at this guy. Oh, shit. He smoked that shit. New Joe Biden. Look out for miners, and not just miners on an island somewhere. He smoked that shit. So these are the headlines.
Starting point is 02:11:51 Variety, Oliver Anthony's Rich Men North of Richmond is an instant smash among conservatives. Rich Men North of Richmond punches down. No surprise, the right wing loves it. Polarizing, blah, blah, blah, da, da, da. Oh, I hate this. Melissa, please, with this. We want to talk about the song polarizing blah blah blah da da da I'm not here for this Melissa please
Starting point is 02:12:05 with this we want to talk about the song and not what the politics I don't care what the politics is that shit sounded hot
Starting point is 02:12:13 that song is hard how come I hate that era that we're in now where you can't talk about a song without talking about which side that shit is crazy
Starting point is 02:12:21 it's just interesting that they took it because that's what a lot of times certain stuff like that is what make a song blow up. Like if certain people adopt it and start running with it, it'll blow it up that way. So that becomes part of the story of the song now. Yeah. He got a little vocal too.
Starting point is 02:12:39 We talked about this song for three minutes before we, not even, before we got into- We labeled it. Before we labeled it. Yeah, we should do that. That's corny. Shit is hot, it's nice. That record is hard. Salute. That shit sounded tough.
Starting point is 02:12:48 Yeah. What's the dude name? He spitting facts. His name is Oliver Anthony Music. The song is called Rich Men North of Richmond. I like this song. Oh, I see why, I see why. The Rich Men North of Richmond.
Starting point is 02:13:02 Rich Men North of Richmond. I get that. I see how that, okay. I think that's fire too, though. Yeah, it. Richmond, North of Richmond. Richmond, North of Richmond. I see how that could. I think that's fire, too, though. Yeah, it is. That shit was hard. But this ain't the same as that other shit. The dog whistling song?
Starting point is 02:13:14 That was a little more aggressive. That was like drill country. Yeah, it was. I think the reason why the right-wing conservatives have kind of like- He got some shit called cobwebs and cocaine. Oh, he lit. He lit. He's lit.
Starting point is 02:13:29 He's lit. Can we get a little bit of that? Feeling pretty good. I don't think that this was his intention. I don't think that this was his intention. Parks got it. He got it. I got it right here.
Starting point is 02:13:37 I'm faster than Parks, nigga. Fuck you talking about. I never try to play with me. It's called cobwebs and cocaine. playing my poor old wife grab the shot and bother to live Oh, he's the next Adele. He's out of here. Get out of here. Get it, buddy. Shit. Get it, buddy. And cold chains are the homeless things left in my brain.
Starting point is 02:14:32 Hey, you made a fan, bro. I got to get sober. I know he got some slaps in there. I got to get sober. I know he got some. Hell on Earth, Bob Deepu. Oh, my God. Wow.
Starting point is 02:14:49 Also, I want to apologize to Frankie Beverly because the fans let me know that he had like a throat condition like throat cancer oh shit so I wouldn't be talking about his live performance voice if I knew he had I apologize I apologize to Frankie Beverly and hope everything is well. Word. What else? I'm cool. I think I'm cool. Let me just make sure I'm cool. Cobwebs and cocaine. I'm cool. I thought Mel would give me more on that Larson Pippen topic,

Starting point is 02:16:20 Oh, delivery here? Let me go to the balcony. Hey, audience members out there, it's hot out here. So when it's hot, it's a pool out there. I told you about it already. That's how fire she is. Had to bring it back. Nah, she be out there just tanning, chilling.
