Starting point is 00:00:28 Oh! Oh, she has to start recording. I thought I was just yelling. How you doing? What's up? I'm good, how you? Why you looking at me like that? How you doing?
Starting point is 00:00:37 Oh, I'm looking at you. Oh, I can't see through them glasses. It's just the dark side. Yeah, it's dark. Nightcrawler glasses, I can't see. them glasses. It's just a dark cell. The world is dark. Nightcrawler glasses, I can't see. The Cyclops. Good. Why'd you have your hand up?
Starting point is 00:00:57 Why'd you have your hand up? Meaning that I yield. I yield, because we've been using I digress wrong. Yes. If somebody's been checking me on their social media, I digress, there's no I yield. How do you properly? I don't know, you gotta ask him.
Starting point is 00:01:14 We use a lot of words wrong, I just. I'm gonna use my shit on that. I make a list and every once in a while I'll be like. And that's fucked up, you're not doing that. I feel like once a month I'll intervene. You're not down to help us? Like today's word is, y'all say willfully obtuse all the time.
Starting point is 00:01:26 Obtuse means to be willfully, so not understanding. It's redundant to say willfully obtuse. But everybody says it all the time. It drives me crazy. But I said I wouldn't say anything about it. But since it came up. Your homegirl saying it. I absolutely did because sometimes you gotta double up on it.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Sometimes you gotta double up on it. It's redundancy. You trying to put that on us or you hungry? I said us, us, not us nigga. We gonna say that. Other people have said it too. I ain't never said it. I was the last one to use the phrase
Starting point is 00:01:53 and I meant to use it for like to double up on it. Oh. Like literally when I say you're so. Mark. When I say the thing, like when I say like you're so repugnant, the word repugnant finds you repugnant kind of thing, like that's my intention. Yeah, but let's get back to this Wolfley of Tuesday.
Starting point is 00:02:12 So your intent is to double up, double shot of espresso. Your intent is to? Sometimes, sometimes I feel it necessary to do so, yes. What do you think about that? I think it's a beautiful day outside. It is a beautiful day. I love you, man. How you doing today? about that? I think it's a beautiful day outside. It is a beautiful day. I love you, man. How you doing today?
Starting point is 00:02:26 You good? I'm fantastic. Flip, how you doing, brother? I'm doing well. I'm on Mel's side in this one. It's like when we say tuna fish. Right. Right.
Starting point is 00:02:38 As opposed to a tuna. Right. Oh, captain. Obviously being a fish. Tuna. It's your tuna. Got it. Okay. Right. I see the type of shit y'all on.
Starting point is 00:02:48 Yeah, they on bullshit. For sure. But we digress. Willfully. Willfully digress. I yield. I love y'all. You let niggas get shit off of you.
Starting point is 00:02:56 We sound crazy. Sometimes we be, especially me, sound crazy. Oh, yeah. What have you been listening to? I've been listening to you. I've been listening to you. I've been listening to you. I've been listening to you.
Starting point is 00:03:04 I've been listening to you. I've been listening to you. I've been listening to you. I've been listening let niggas get shit off of you. We sound crazy. Sometimes we be, especially me, sound crazy. Oh, yeah. What have you been listening to? Just people. Just professors. Yo, you saying a lot of wrong shit up there. It's not just you.
Starting point is 00:03:16 It's everybody. I get it. Yeah, but you don't help. I don't think you for the black man like I thought you was. I don't pretend to be. I can't. Check my phone My agent, my lawyer, my turdys
Starting point is 00:03:34 Get with the whole team baby Hold on, hold on Let me just laugh, hold on That was really funny No, that was really funny. Marcus, that was funny. We gotta ask, ask him the question. So you don't believe that you could have a black lawyer? That should be investigated, yeah, get him, Flip.
Starting point is 00:03:52 You don't believe you should have a black lawyer? No, I think you should. I think you absolutely should. Can you? I think you should have a black lawyer. Why don't you have a black lawyer? Why don't you have a black agent? Why don't you support our community
Starting point is 00:04:03 by putting money back in the black's pockets? I put money in the black's pockets No, let's talk about that the ones that support the blacks What about your lawyer and your and your attorney? It just worked out. I mean same thing Honestly, it just worked out that way when I went into William Morris endeavor. I would have Happily, don't be shouting out. Don't be shy. Put your mic down a little more to your mouth pause This is about to be awesome. You know, I want to hear everywhere. I don't want to miss it And what doctor you prefer what type of doctor I bought mine so it don't matter. Huh? Oh, that hurt She's no he didn't say doctor it. Oh, I'm sorry. Yeah, I know it's okay though. I don't say you bought your doctor
Starting point is 00:04:37 What does that hurt? What doctor do you prefer to like to perform an operation? Oh like the race of the doctor my doctor? You know what? I do have a black doctor. I have a black black woman doctor Women doctors Peer reviewed study Stop! A peer-reviewed study. Ma'am, please, ma'am. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:05:05 Ma'am, please. I'm not sorry. Yo, it's a lot of y'all that's riding on the I support black women wagon and y'all are just a different type of horny. That's all it is. It's a lot of y'all that's waving the flag of the black woman doctor and the surgeon. You missed it. He just said he's getting a colonoscopy from a black woman. You think it's just horny. Next week.
Starting point is 00:05:27 That's a different level. They always leave out a word. They always leave out a word. They support fine black women. See, I don't even look at their faces. Mark, Mark, Mark. Not today, Mark. He's a happily married man.
Starting point is 00:05:41 Not today, Mark. What am I supposed to look like? That's hate. That's hate. He don't need you to do that. I'm not even hating. That's exposed hate. I'm not Mark. That's hate. That's hate. He don't need you bad. I'm not even hating. That's exposed hate. I'm not hating.
Starting point is 00:05:48 Don't be willfully obtuse. When I'm looking for a doctor, I don't look to see if she bad or not, because like that- Yes you do. Nah. Yes you do. Not for a doctor. Yes you do. When you're getting a camera shoved up your ass, I feel like you might not want her to be fine, right?
Starting point is 00:06:06 Yeah, that's actually a good point. How come when men keep talking, it's kind of a love problem. A woman has the audacity to talk? Yes, yes, yes. Sorry, I think that's why I got fucking hired. But anyways, go off. Because what I'm saying is one of those things
Starting point is 00:06:19 where you have to have a penis, and I'm not beefing, I love you, but I think because you have a penis, yeah you don't, you don't want your, no no I'm not talking about. Yes just cleared up. I was like whoa this episode took a turn. No no no. I definitely don't have a penis. I'm saying you want your doctor to be the best doctor. True. Yes. I believe that. Yes. Because you have a penis, if she's a little fine, you notice other what level of the fine I'm not choosing her basically when I get there. I notice yeah, okay. Yeah, but I look for whereas there are some jobs Why would I just line to the?
Starting point is 00:07:00 Resputia you know you know actually look but she look. But certain jobs you do care. You want your agent to be attracted. This right here is why Bill Burr's special was so amazing to me. I love that. I need to watch it. I love that. It was good. It was so genius.
Starting point is 00:07:17 I really love it. We'll talk about it later. But it was so, he said a lot of just wild shit, but in the simplest of fashions. That's it. I actually want to talk to y'all about something he said. But we should start the party. Let's talk, we should start the party. Bring it down.
Starting point is 00:07:35 Y'all and them female doctors and surgeons. Marv be on bullshit, y'all. I like that he said, I don't look at her face. You an ish at the Sixer game, boy. Oh, the concession stand. Concession stand. What are those? What are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:07:51 Joe's turning me into a monster bit. No, no, you've been kind of a monster. How y'all doing? How y'all feeling? Feeling great. Glad to be here. Good. Happy to see all y'all doing? How y'all feeling? Feeling great. Glad to be here. Good. Happy to see all y'all. Look at you. Get out. Get out or I'll say it.
Starting point is 00:08:14 You're causing trouble. Audience, I want to let y'all know Mariah Carey has really divided the room. Very much so. Mariah Carey has really divided the room in a way that I never thought I'd see. I didn't think it was possible. Yeah. Yeah. So I guess we'll have all of those talks. I thought she was a cheat code a little bit. And I got mad just bullshit written in my phone. I didn't want to tell y'all and fill that old board up. It is a bunch of bullshit. Great. That's good. I'm down for it. All right.
Starting point is 00:08:45 What's that face for, Flip? I'm just seeing where he's going today, that's all. OK. I'm here to be a team player. Ready? You're always a team player. Eh. Eh.
Starting point is 00:08:55 Eh. Eh. Eh. I always say always. Eh. Very, very rarely. Very rarely. Big willfully obtuse again.
Starting point is 00:09:04 Eh. Eh. Seldomly. My team player. Thank you, man. I appreciate that. You're welcome. Oh man. All right.
Starting point is 00:09:14 What do you got for us? We waiting on them. Sometimes you gotta double up on them. That's a lot of money. Hey, you know what, you be, same. That was a really good excuse. Yeah, I was impressed. You try to put it on us, though., you be safe. That was a really good excuse. I was impressed. You try to put it on us though.
Starting point is 00:09:28 I gotta get him. That was nigga level of. Hey, listen. Look, baby, sometime I just got done. Sometimes you become a product of your environment. So, you know. Oh, Mel. That was a little complimentary.
Starting point is 00:09:38 I don't know if it was. A little compliment? No one felt complimented. At all. Not even a little bit. Okay. Oh, geez. I don't know if it was. No one felt complimented. Not at all. Not even a little bit.
Starting point is 00:09:48 She said I said that on purpose. She freestyled that shit. Immediately. And she got serious, but she looked at me. She said, you got some bullshit friendship. I hate that friendship shit. That freestyle was crazy though. He said, yo, we sometimes up here say things
Starting point is 00:10:04 that's oxymorons. It's like, who said it? Who said that last? That friendship shit. That freestyle was crazy though. He said, yo, we sometimes up here say things, it's oxymorons. It's like, who said it? Who said that last, didn't they? I said, well, I said it last, but. I meant that. Yeah, nigga, like, point at that direction, nigga. Talk to each other.
Starting point is 00:10:14 But actually, it's not oxymoronic. What is it? Thank you, help me. You know what I'm saying? Wrong shit again. I'm willing to learn. I don't want to be willfully obtuse. I have a feeling this is the name of the fucking episode. Good shit, man. I'm willing to learn. I I'm on your ass today.
Starting point is 00:10:47 I gave you a chance to chill and be humble. Don't pile up. I'm on you today now nigga. Anything you say I'm on your ass. I'm on your ass today now. Starting point is 00:23:53 Anyway, sorry. What we on, what we on? We did the intro, right? We did. Oh no, Dr. Mark Lamar Hill in the building did not pay for the doctorate. Fuck is you niggas talking about out there? That's damn the queensiest of them all.
Starting point is 00:24:05 Queens split, Queens get the money is in the building. Freeze is here, Elizabeth's finest, y'all know the vibes, Mr. Money Total Freeze. Hey! Mr. Take it further! Big Parks is in the building, Po is here, Corey is here, well Ian is here, Erickson is here, if Ian is here,
Starting point is 00:24:25 that means Keeb is here, somewheres, Savannah Tanner here by remote last, but certainly not least, each and every one of you guys are here, all right, what's poppin'? What's good? What's poppin', what's poppin', what's going on? How's everybody weekend? Great.
Starting point is 00:24:38 You know niggas always. Oh yeah, yeah. I thought I saw you a little bit, I had a good time. Shake your ass a little bit? It was more of a bar hop than an ass shake. Hey, that's good. All right, all right. Good bar hop.
Starting point is 00:24:49 Yeah, it was a good bar hop. It was a good bar hop. Ended up in this really weird Irish bar that was a St. Patrick's Day weekend. Well, we did that too, but this was Friday. This was a preemptive St. Patrick's Day. I didn't even know that shit till the news came on this morning.
Starting point is 00:25:01 I ain't gonna lie to you. Facts. It was a little quiet out there last week. That's how in the house I've been. It was a little quiet out. But we went out and had a little corned beef, cabbage, some Guinness, you know what I mean? morning, I ain't going to lie to you. It was a little quiet out there last week. That's how in the house I've been. It was a little quiet out. But we went out and had a little corned beef, cabbage, some Guinness, you know what I mean? Well, I did, she had whatever she had.
Starting point is 00:25:11 But it was fun, we had a good time this weekend. Corned beef, cabbage, and beer. That's right. Now I was farting all night. You're about to be in the bathroom. My bathroom will be the shambles that you're sipping in. Jesus. I woke up to my first. Like, God damn, that's me. Shit, Parks.
Starting point is 00:25:26 That's not bad. Dicks ain't walking so fast. What's that smell? Oh shit, it's me. I know what you're talking about, Parks. That shit is nasty. Chill, let's be real. Three million listeners.
Starting point is 00:25:42 I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I'm not gonna lie. I know what you're talking about, Parks. That shit is nasty. Chill, let's be real listeners. He's crying. He's fucked up. You was outside ice? No, no, not at all. In the house. I stay in the house all weekend.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Vengeant TV shows. Same old. I went to a middle school basketball game and that was it. I may have been warned once to not yell at the refs. They were asking for it. The refs? Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:17 I mean, you can't not call a walk. They went middle school. I'm sorry, they were nine. Yo, what? Nine year olds, bro? They're not going to call a walk. Yeah, but you gotta call them both. I was like, he didn't call me in the middle of the game. I was like, yo, I'm at the game. And I said, these refs are fucking up. He was like, I'm at nine. Damn. Yo, what? Nine year olds, bro? They not gonna call a walker.
Starting point is 00:26:25 Yeah, but you gotta call them both. I was like, he ain't called me in the middle of the game. I was like, yo, I'm at the game, and I said, these refs are fucking up. He's like, don't get kicked out of a middle school, or a little kid game. I didn't get kicked out, per se. That would be embarrassing.
Starting point is 00:26:35 But I did get a warning. I got a stern warning. All right, yo, one more time, we're gonna have to ask you to leave. Yeah, my thing is just call it a double dribble. No. No. They're nine. They can barely hit on the ball.
Starting point is 00:26:46 They're not gonna learn. That's the best part about youth athletics though. Like acting a fool at the game. Yeah. It is. Yeah, we was jumping up and down, screaming, my man ran out the door, you know what I mean, when the game get tight.
Starting point is 00:26:58 It's fun, it's fun to watch. Especially if it's like a bunch of white families there. Oh yeah, that's what it was. Scared me off. We were the black section. Yeah, that yeah. There you go. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:10 There's signs and the pom poms and all that stuff. Act a full ass out there. Yeah, only me. Get them a little nervous. Just a little. Honey, watch him. And take a while at the food truck. And just stand there asking Mac, what you got?
Starting point is 00:27:25 What that come with? Man ignorant, man ignorant, nigga. Let me get everything. Somebody starts to, no you good? Let me get everything on it. Give me another hot dog. Want one? Yeah, fuck them. Give them a hard time.
Starting point is 00:27:41 We walk in front of them, I don't give a fuck. People be having some nerves, yo. They they talk I forgot my st. Patrick's Day you know me too it's a Monday it's a rough day for a holiday the news this morning especially a drinking holiday came on they start showing you the st. Patty's parade see that added to my depression too I forgot about that my depression too I'm seeing these niggas. They like, this is the longest 10 year parade. It's been here. We've held this here for hundreds of years. I'm like,
Starting point is 00:28:13 so let me get this straight. Everybody get a parade. Except for some niggas. What parade we got? They got the African American parade in Harlem. They got the shit up there in Brooklyn. Right before Labor Day. They got the shit up there in Brooklyn. West Indian Day Parade. West Indian Day Parade. They got the Labor Day Parade, they got the Dominican Day Parade, they got the Puerto
Starting point is 00:28:31 Rican Day Parade, they got the African American Day Parade in Harlem. What are y'all talking about? We got Harlem Week. We got Harlem Week. The African American Day Parade. It don't be broadcast as much TV Let me tell y'all niggas in Brooklyn something Hey, let me tell y'all y'all got about maybe one more of those up there before they pull the plug
Starting point is 00:28:58 No, I know Every year they don't do it And every day, every year they don't do it. Somebody gets shot. Kill more niggas. Since I was 17. Since I was 17 years old. It's not more people that die, Joe. I was there, I was there last year.
Starting point is 00:29:11 So it's getting safer. Flip, I'm not from one of, a shooting to me is as bad as a murder. Like if a nigga lived, the fact that you shot, the fact that you shot at, all these people here, y'all are shooting. Oh my God, on Dayline. All right, enough of Dayline.
Starting point is 00:29:26 But the girl and her roommate, the girl's ex came in and shot both of them in the head. They got them. They lived. The roommate, the bullet got stuck in a place where it kept her alive the whole time. Oh. She didn't bleed out.
Starting point is 00:29:41 She laid there for nine hours. The cops came and got her to a hospital. She lived. Good for her. Shit.. The cops came and got her to a hospital. She lived. So she come in the courts about to testify. Don't laugh. No, but she testified and she forgave him and she handed him a Bible. He still went to jail. But he had a Bible to go with a Bible. He still went to jail, but. But he had a Bible to go with.
Starting point is 00:30:06 Right. He has a pre-material. And he took it. She came in different. Good for her. Well, yeah. Forgiveness. She's a little different now.
Starting point is 00:30:14 OK. But her speech is fine. Her eyes a little. Wonky. Yeah. And she's going to use one arm now. Shit. But she's a lot.
Starting point is 00:30:24 Yeah. Shout out to her. Shout out to the bright side. All right, come on now. Shit. Oh. But she's a lot. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, yeah. Got to look at the bright side. All right, come on now. What are we talking about? What are we, I'm all over the place. What are we doing? What are we doing?
Starting point is 00:30:31 What's important? As soon as we talk about living and dying, you came in here and had me think Mariah Carey was dead. Oh my God. You made my heart stop. You're not gonna walk that one in at all, huh? Is that a bad place to start? I'm rolling.
Starting point is 00:30:42 No, let's go. No, go ahead. He's like, all this shit was on the board. First of all, all y'all was somber. He wearing black, you wearing black, you wearing black. I'm thinking I missed some shit because I had some emergency today. I come in, you like, write the Mariah tribute on the board.
Starting point is 00:30:54 I'm thinking Mariah died, I got hit by a bus or something. Mariah Carey is not anywhere near a bus. What happened to Mariah? Y'all didn't get hit by a bus. She doesn't even know buses exist. We were talking about the real. We would, how it started is that we were talking about the shade that Mariah displayed against Money Long while she was
Starting point is 00:31:10 performing Mariah's song. So we were talking about tributes and who accepts and who is receptive to tributes, who has done a great tribute to a person that might still be alive or might have passed away. So that's how the conversation with Mariah happened. And so one of the good examples was Dionne Warwick and Luther Vanders. I brought that up, yeah. And then I played it.
Starting point is 00:31:30 Because she seemed to be moved by it. Wait, hold up. Hold up for two seconds. Because you're all about to make us sound like we had sense during that talk. Oh no, then we went off the reservation. Why are you all fucking my shit up? I'm finally starting to do good, nigga. Because we're coming back, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:31:42 We're going to come right back to... We're coming right back, save this shit, you're in for the whole thing. We gonna come right back to, we coming right back, save this sensible moment that you about to add. No, you can do it. You can do it. You can do it.
Starting point is 00:31:54 Save this sensible moment. We'll put a pin in it. Okay. We started with telling brother Mark that. That's you. Cause when I go to sleep early now I gotta put an arm around. He depressed. When niggas depressed they want all type of recognition and acknowledgement from their loved ones. He wait for it.
Starting point is 00:32:14 Did you text me? He asked for the text. Y'all I missed your text. Fucking dead wife got in a car accident. Oh my god. Is she okay? Is she alright? I know how he feels. I get like this. He's not wrong.
Starting point is 00:32:28 Like you just start to look at shit around you. Like you look at your kids. He's right. He called this morning with how much the insurance will put on the rental car. Nigga, I knew that yesterday. Hey, when you called yesterday, I knew that they only had $50 for you a week for the rent-a-car. That's not just $30 a day. That's a day.
Starting point is 00:32:48 You're lying. You're lying to your father. I heard black people go through this beef for years about what the insurance company is willing to put on your rent-a-car. $30 a day. It depends on your policy. The insurance company clearly never been to the rent-a-car place. They don't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:33:01 They want you to get the kids. $30 get done, right? What you don't realize is what that $30 get you. Niggas always want to go to the rental to get the key in. $30 get done right? What you don't realize is what that 30 get you. Niggas always want to go to the rental and get the fly shit. Yeah no, niggas. That's $70 a day, nigga. I didn't even know the rental had other plates,
Starting point is 00:33:14 other joints. We want the fly shit, nigga. Now you get a little more shit in. Nigga, you can get a Hellcat down here. He's right. They got the shit there. That shit like, so they cover the 30 and you pay the rest.
Starting point is 00:33:23 You pay the rest. Yeah, you pay the difference. Wait, so when I go rent a car and when I go down south, somebody does it for me. So they reserve the fly shit. But when I get there and they start naming the fly shit, I don't be knowing what it is no more. Like when they name the BMW, we got the X, such and such. I make them take me to go see it.
Starting point is 00:33:41 So I could get eyes on these motherfuckers. But anyway, back to Mariah. Mariah, Mariah. Yes, the legend. We tell Mark to write Mariah tribute on the board. Mark says, Oh my God, I thought she died. I was about to be. Oh my God.
Starting point is 00:33:56 So fucked up and horrible. Oh, I was about to. He said that which led into a. Oh shit. You was about to be that fucked up if Mariah died. Hell yeah. Conversation. I would have as well. Somewhere in that. And led into a, oh shit, you was about to be that fucked up if Mariah died. Hell yeah. Conversation. I would have as well.
Starting point is 00:34:07 Somewhere in that. And I don't like this, I feel like we got like knock on wood. Knock on wood, we love Mariah. Somewhere in that somebody brought up who Mariah was dating. Mariah did. Rumored to be dating. Rumored, rumored. Rumored to be dating.
Starting point is 00:34:23 And then Mark said. A lot, a then Mark said. A lot of hate. A lot of hate. You asked me what I thought about that. I had a chance. I said damn. I didn't know I had a shot all that time. I didn't even hear that, but that's what they were laughing? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:34:32 He said you let Terry ball? Yeah. So I just want you all to know how ignorant we've been in this. Oh, and then Ian chimed in. Oh yeah. To say that he would never let Terry ball. Yeah. He said, you let Terry ball?
Starting point is 00:34:41 Yeah. So I just want you all to know how ignorant we've been in this. Oh, and then Ian chimed in. Oh yeah. To say that he, you let Terry ball? Yeah, so I just want y'all to know how ignorant we've been in this. Oh, and then Ian chimed in to say that he would never touch Mariah. But I don't disagree with him. Some people, no matter how good they look,
Starting point is 00:34:56 there's something about them that can make you say, I'm not attracted to this person, no matter how famous they are. But that's not what he said. That's not what he said, though. But that's what he was saying. No, he said she's too old, basically. No, he did not say that. Yes, he did. Well, yeah, he's right there he said though. But that's what he was saying. He said I would. He said she's too old, basically. Yes. No, he did not say that.
Starting point is 00:35:05 Yes he did. Well yeah, he's right there. He did. He said that I will not fuck Mariah Carey. He said she fell off. He said she fell off. Yes. Yeah, he literally said she fell off.
Starting point is 00:35:13 That means she's too old, or she's not in the condition she would be to meet Ian Stanton in sex. She's not prime no more. With superstars. And then Joe said, which sounds ridiculous now, Joe told Ian, he tried to fuck the up and coming singer. Ian faced her in red Joe said, Joe told Ian, you tried to fuck the upcoming singer. Ian's face turned red and said, who?
Starting point is 00:35:31 Put a name on it, put a name on it. Who you talking about? Because he already on my shit list. I ain't got time for no more fucking Ian. Ian's shenanigans. Who do? Which one? Put a name on the bully. He started thinking, you can't just throw shit out there like that on that man.
Starting point is 00:35:46 I could have thrown my name, but I wouldn't have done that. It might not be appropriate now. Listen, some people, some people you can see... The older that they get, oh, and I'm not saying Mariah. Mariah's beautiful, I think she's amazing. But some people you see, you lose that attraction to them. People be full of shit. Niggas be full of shit.
Starting point is 00:36:05 Niggas be full of shit. Did you think, this is my only question, you didn't think you had a shot at Mariah before? No, because who would? How can you do that so much? Yeah. You do that so much. She put a cape on, nigga.
Starting point is 00:36:18 And then it makes it seem like I'm suppressing you when I ain't. Wonder Woman, take your shit off, yo. I'm cornering your man, you know what I mean? OK, OK, OK. When I was single, I liked my chances with just about everybody. There we go.
Starting point is 00:36:31 With a very small list. Come on. Talk that shit. Who you thought you couldn't get when you were single? Got to be somebody that he. Bride Carey. Halle Berry? She like you smart niggas.
Starting point is 00:36:44 You probably would. You know, I never thought about her in that way. Oh, you see? Oh, not in the- Stop it. No, no, no, let me just put that- We're just lying in the same pocket. No, no, that's not what I mean.
Starting point is 00:36:51 No, no, no, that's not what I mean. What I mean is- Never thought about it. Never looked at her. Never. Oh, she is attractive now. She's not even- Wow, I never saw that.
Starting point is 00:36:59 No, that's not what I mean. I mean, like, I've been friends with two people that she's dated, pretty good friends with one of them. So she's in the category of like, that's my man's girl. So I just didn't think about like having a shot. I don't think about having a shot. Or you can just put, I didn't know you could put bullshit off bullshit, but.
Starting point is 00:37:15 Yeah, yeah. It's the time you gotta double up. What? What? See how effective it is? See how effective that shit is? All right. I'm gonna go with bullshit. See how effective it is? See how effective that shit is? All right.
Starting point is 00:37:26 Flip on bullshit. All right, Flip, go ahead and be sensible with this Mariah tribute. No, wait, hold on, hold on. Before we get into that, listen. There's some women out here, some sort of, there's never women that some niggas can say no to. I don't like how y'all was on Ian. All you
Starting point is 00:37:42 guys attacked the poor man. And if he says, yo, he's not poor. If he says, yo, listen guys, I am not attracted. I wouldn't sleep with her. You guys supposed to respect that. I didn't like what you guys did. I was- There's too much of that going on.
Starting point is 00:37:55 You have to call your friends out when they're lying. Yeah, sometimes those niggas lying though. How do you know he's lying? Because I've never hung out with Ian one day in my life. And I guarantee you he's had at least three nights of very unmemorable, regrettable, fuck I don't want me below me below red so but we all have me and Ari at one point in the right carries the line if he would catch some of them boys in the sauna slipping and I think Mariah has a shot
Starting point is 00:38:24 what you was into, Ian? Because me and Ian told him FaceTime every morning, but as soon as he get in the sauna, it's time to hang up. And I know what that sauna club is about. Yo, stop! Oh, shit, Ian! So I'm just saying, if some of the sauna niggas could catch him slipping, I think Mariah. Mimi got a shot.
Starting point is 00:38:46 Let me ask you a question. To me, shout out to Mariah. I mean, a lot of people changed their life for Mariah when she started dating our brother Nick. And I fucked with Nick, can't I? I think he fly, I get all over him. But I remember a lot of people saying that online and they didn't really know how Nick give it up.
Starting point is 00:39:01 He gets him. But the optics of it was, nah man, she fucked with that nigga. She fell off, which was not the case because niggas don't know how Nick carried. So we ignorant like that. Yo, yo, yo. Hold on.
Starting point is 00:39:13 I gotta pitch myself a while now. I gotta pitch for a while now. You know, I'm almost out. Where you at, nigga? You know how he carried it. You are wilding out. I gotta solidify my spot. Whoa!
Starting point is 00:39:24 Whoa! You want to sign. Okay, we got you. No razz. No razz. But yeah, anyway, let's move on. Okay? Well, Mariah and the Money Long Tribute, where was that? That was the I Heart Awards?
Starting point is 00:39:36 Yeah, I don't know. It was one of them shits. I was saying that- One of them shits that we don't know about. Just pop up on Twitter. I was saying that Mariah threw shade at Money Long and then I asked the question. But where was that? That was the NA night But where was that that was the end? Billboard or the I heart the Nickelodeon Awards, right?
Starting point is 00:39:51 Maybe that's just not even around on board Lifetime achievement award, I don't know. Okay. So wait, why do you say that? She threw shade when she was singing her face a facial expression wasn't and then unless she was too pleased Yes, it was the I Heart Musical Awards. The I Heart Musical Awards. She didn't look pleased. So then the next question I asked, I said. It looked like she woke herself up with a fart.
Starting point is 00:40:13 Like it was a bad thing. Yeah, yeah. And then Corey proceeded to tell me that Prince was also. Wait a second, yo. All right, nah. Wait. All right. I was looking for a way to be on Money Long Side.
Starting point is 00:40:27 You can't shade me at the I Heart Awards. Excuse me? Are you fucking crazy? No, that's where you shade. No, that's where you shade. That's where you shade. Yeah, this is the Grammy's, my man. You fucking crazy, my nigga.
Starting point is 00:40:42 You brought me out of my fucking castle for this? I don't need to come out now. You heard what Nick told us. She don't lead a house. How much it cost one to lead a house? You brought me out of my fucking castle for this? I don't need to come out now. You heard what Nick told us. She don't lead the house. How much it cost one to lead the house? A quarter million for her to lead the house? Respectfully, with all due respect. To the I Heart Awards?
Starting point is 00:40:53 There's many people in that I Heart building that I love and fuck with, so I'm not trying to be shady. If I get a tribute at the I Heart Awards, that's like me going on the roller coaster at the fair I expect for the toothless nigga down there to leave me up here elevated supposed to be I would expect for my tribute at the I Heart Awards to not be so grandiose what are you talking about? Don't call it double dribble. Mariah, yeah, no. Yes, no.
Starting point is 00:41:26 That's like Imani calling foul, offensive foul, in our street ball game. Are you nuts? Off the wall foul, by the way. I'm all with Mariah being a diva, and I know that the divas can't cut off being a diva, so you bring you wherever you go, but you at the fucking I heart awards
Starting point is 00:41:49 Larry's could be up here doing your fucking tribute. No What the fuck yo, I'm just saying it You know they caught Mariah and told her who was doing the trip But they gave her the whole is that you get her out of her bed? And I don't think money long and not bad. And Money Long is dope. I don't know that. She is. So.
Starting point is 00:42:07 Money Long is dope. I think this sus one could've just called Mariah. Like Mariah's fly with a few niggas that we know. Not to pop out though. I could be fly with you. Now you asking me to bring my. And she might be cool with Jewish niggas that run our. I'm sure.
Starting point is 00:42:21 She might own a piece of our. We don't know none of her. We don't know none of her business. But if you get here and the fucking tribute is not so diamonds and pearls. Nah, stop it. I'm not going to let you do this. Would you big up Prince for doing the same thing?
Starting point is 00:42:34 Exactly, nigga. We would tie him at the fucking MTV Awards or whatever that shit is. And I'm not going to let y'all do that. I knew one of y'all was going to say that. So for one, Prince has made it publicly clear to all, to the whole field. I'm against tributes. I'm not sure that Mariah has it either.
Starting point is 00:42:54 Prince has said it. So before he died, niggas knew, it didn't really matter who was doing the tribute. He didn't want a tribute. So the fact that y'all kept doing a tribute against his will was like, okay. And now that we had the footage of seeing him shade people at the tribute, like we understand some mercury, you know, what that's Prince and Trey songs is up there fucking that song up. Ruining that fucking song.
Starting point is 00:43:21 He was, he was, I don't think money long was doing a horrible job. She was not. She was not. A little bit cheap to someone who was like very- That's part of the diva shit though. But hold on. Yeah, I think just because she was rising.
Starting point is 00:43:31 That's the end. That's the end. Ain't nobody going to do it good enough. The question that I had earlier- You can't shame me at the fucking artist. The question that I had earlier was- Shit, you crazy. You out your mind.
Starting point is 00:43:38 What artist was satisfied with their tribute song or tribute performance that was dedicated to them? No one good. And then I said- DJ Cassidy. No, I'm good. And then I said... DJ Cassidy. No, then I said... Then I said Dionne Warwick was happy when Luther performed a tribute to her
Starting point is 00:43:51 because she was extreme, she was crying. Yes. And then Corey was like, well, that's Luther. And it's also personal, they're friends anyway. It don't matter, no, Luther bodied it, bro. Don't try to set their friend... Luther, he killed that shit. He did, but they also had a very strong personal relationship.
Starting point is 00:44:06 Right. Like they did. So this was like seeing her like little mentee rise to fame. It's also Luther fucking Vandross. If they didn't have a personal relationship, you think that she would be as receptive? She might not have been crying. She might have liked it. It's hard to hear somebody else do your song.
Starting point is 00:44:20 You know what I mean? And always love it. You know what I mean? I've seen people do Aretha. Aretha keeps a steady face. Yeah, she be tight. Aretha's just like, she hate that shit. She didn't like when Madonna did that shit.
Starting point is 00:44:30 The fans got at Madonna for doing Aretha Franklin tribute. I looked up. She should not have done that. I don't even remember that. And she should have done that. Right. Some tributes are good. Obviously Bob Marley wasn't alive for his tribute,
Starting point is 00:44:41 but the Rita Marley, the I.T., all of them loved some of the rendition. They loved Lauren doing Turn Your Lights Down Low. They loved Erica and Ziggy Marley doing their joint. They loved Queen Latifah doing No More Trouble. There's some people who did it well. Nigga, Michael, I was telling Ice that Michael got up and performed his own tribute, nigga.
Starting point is 00:45:01 He saw Usher and what's her name doing it? He like, you know, Whitney bodied it. When Whitney came out, wann's her name doing it. He like, yo, get up. Whitney bodied it when Whitney came out. Wanted to be star of something. When he came out, she bodied it. But when he saw that shit, he said, let me get up. My brother's is doing a hard work job. Let me get up here and turn up. What it is that part, too.
Starting point is 00:45:13 Tribute should improve. They should. Tribute should improve. But who do you put, like, how do you choose a person who can't do it? Like today? They can't do the tone. You want to get names that are going to attract viewership.
Starting point is 00:45:28 Exactly. And a lot of these motherfuckers can't sing. They can't sing. And they can't sing to the songs that they trying to. There's also mismatches, because even in hip hop, I forgot who, there's been a couple occasions, like Lupe with Tribe or something. There's someone else that did, I forgot.
Starting point is 00:45:41 I forgot the words. Didn't know the Biggie song, whatever it was. I forgot who that was. They didn't know the biggie song or whatever it was. I forgot what that was. That's bad. I said, the hip hop, the hip hop. I've seen Fantasia do it. Fantasia did Patty well.
Starting point is 00:45:54 And that's like her niece. Again, that's a love thing. Also, she's got that register. Yeah, she's got the register and the range. They both like to holler. They both hit notes with holler. It's a style thing. It's a good fit.
Starting point is 00:46:03 That was Rich Homie Kwan. Rest in peace. Rest in peace. Yeah, that was a bad match. And even thinking's a style thing, it's a good fit. That was Rich Homie Kwan, Rest In Peace. Rest In Peace. Yeah, that was a bad match. And even thinking of that, why? That was a bad match. I agree with Joe. Y'all need to update the tribute.
Starting point is 00:46:12 Need to update the talent. Find somebody from America's Got Talent or something like that. Somebody that's gonna put up soul and passion. They go for star power instead of like actual match. There's some people out there on those shows that will body a tribute. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:46:24 You know what I'm saying? Come on, bro. They can't sell. Now again, it's business. We can't sell that to the advertisers. What we can sell, I got this name, this name, this name, this name. I got Trace Hall doing prints.
Starting point is 00:46:34 And that's what I'm writing. And I got the person that they doing the tribute to sitting here in the crowd. Like, that's what they selling. I forgot what I was watching where they tried the Stevie Wonder tribute recently. Yeah. Let me look it up. That was really, really bad.
Starting point is 00:46:47 It was so bad, I was like, yo, Stevie right there, go get him. Bring him to the stage. Y'all let him perform at every other damn thing he shouldn't be performing at. I think Janelle Monae was a part of that trip. She was at the end of that. That was, no, that was, what's that?
Starting point is 00:47:03 That was 2015. Janelle Monae was in a bunch of them. Yeah. Yeah. I think you guys gotta have an ear for what sounds like. Remember when, when, Look, we hot about this. When Babyface, remember when Babyface did his,
Starting point is 00:47:16 his tiny desk and he had people sing the songs that he wrote. He didn't match stars, he matched voices. So like, so like he had Shante Moore singing Superwoman. So like that was perfect. Like that she might even improved on a Karen White version. I love Karen White's version, right? They had somebody do Can We Talk. They had Tank sing.
Starting point is 00:47:32 Tank can sing his fucking face off. Tank can sing anybody under the table. Tank should be doing these tributes. Like get the voices that match. So even if they're not the hottest name on the, you know, at the top of the billboard right today, get legends or get people who can sing great. I think this is one of the piss the legends off.
Starting point is 00:47:44 That's it. But Joe, get people who can sing great. I think this is one to piss the legends off, that's it. Um. But Joe, you never answered your own question. What, which was? Who would get you on the ground crying the way you said I was for Mariah? If somebody died. Yeah, that's where the conversation went.
Starting point is 00:47:56 Oh, we never even got to that point. Yeah, who would be the people that would get y'all doing that? Oh yeah, because I didn't know, I was saying to Mark, and clearly, the room is against me on this, which I'm fine with. I was saying, I didn't know that Mariah Carey
Starting point is 00:48:12 was at that level to where black men were saying, oh, if something happened to her, I would be totally destroyed, right? Like I was saying, I thought that was reserved for like the legacy, legacy legacy acts and I guess she Is in the game is she more than that more than I'm not I don't look at her like a legacy act right now I don't remember that has a number one song every year like she's still She's still visible. We still see her. We don't hear cuz she's a diva, but I mean
Starting point is 00:48:42 She's still visible, we still see her. We don't hear her, because she's a diva. But I mean, I mean she is a legacy actress. She's a legacy actress. She's one of the top selling acts of all time. I thought it was just Richard's fault. She deserves for like our Stevie Wonder's, the Mikes, the Princes, the fucking Anita Baker. I think she's in that crew.
Starting point is 00:49:00 She's in that crew. We're getting old, bro. The people who are crying for Luther and for even Michael, like, they were younger. Michael was younger than Mariah is now, right? Yeah, he's 50. Yeah, Michael's 50. Mariah gotta be in the mid-50s. She's 57.
Starting point is 00:49:15 She's 57. No, I understand what y'all saying. And y'all are absolutely right. I do just think Mark is a liar. No, but you never know. You never know. Some of it is I think, like, what was it that connected
Starting point is 00:49:25 with you, like when was it? How many Mariah albums do you have? Boy, first of all, just like you, remember you said in sixth grade you got Vision of Love, from there to The Emancipation. I don't know anything after Emancipation and Mimi, but I was grown as hell when that came out. So from there to there, I had every album.
Starting point is 00:49:41 I used to love that Dream Loving video. And if you stopped the career, that's a classic. That's a classic career. Classic career regardless. Yeah, but as a kid I had a crush on Mariah Carey. I mean, legend, not classic, but like legacy. Yeah, she's the top of the top. She's that, I mean, for me it would be her,
Starting point is 00:49:58 Janet Jackson, there's a few people that would get me upset. She's Janet Jackson, I get. But you don't get Mariah? They in the same class, bro. I mean, y'all are helping me get Mariah? They in the same class. I mean y'all are helping me to understand. They are not in the same class. I'm not.
Starting point is 00:50:08 Mariah says she didn't like the. Wait a second. Mariah says she. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, stop, stop, stop, stop. Yeah, you might be right. They might not be in the same class. They're not in the same class. Respectfully to Janet.
Starting point is 00:50:17 Oh, okay, gotcha. Wait. Well, wait, what? No, he's saying Janet's higher. You're saying Mariah's higher. I know what he's saying. I know what I'm saying. I'm saying they're both at the top of the food chain.
Starting point is 00:50:26 Nigga, Janet is high, stop it, pops. I don't know what y'all talking about now. Janet is, come on, stop it, pops. Where? Y'all are. But wait, is Janet, is Janet considered higher What are y'all measuring? Like we are, what?
Starting point is 00:50:34 Is Janet considered higher by your standards because of the family that she's attached to? All that. Janet is, maybe Janet is considered higher by, I don't want to speak for all black people, but black people? Yeah. I'm not measuring music careers. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:50:50 Like you can have a great point there. Gotcha, gotcha. Janet Jackson was in good times. Yeah, for sure. Janet Jackson is like an imprint from, she was in different strokes of one of them. I was talking strictly music. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:51:03 I'm talking about the family she comes from and how young she was when we first saw her. And I loved them both, by the way. Had a crush on both of them. Mariah mopped up in fucking 91. I did it. Which is a long time. Must have been old.
Starting point is 00:51:16 34 years ago, yeah. But that's very different from 78. I understand what I mean. I'm saying the same thing. It's like an NBA, right? Janet? No, Mariah. But carry on. In NBA, some people are Max Contract NBA, right? Janet. No Mariah, but carry on.
Starting point is 00:51:25 In the NBA, some people are Max Contract people, right? LeBron's a Max guy, AD is a Max guy. They not the same, but they both in that same top tier. That's what I'm saying. I'm saying that when I talk about Mariah and I talk about Janet, there's a top tier of people who I would be fucked up if they die. That don't mean they all the same in that same tier.
Starting point is 00:51:38 Got it, got it, got it. That's all I'm saying. Got it. But not only that, you don't know what kind of impact that person's legacy and music had on you. Like, it may not have the same impact on you that it would have on Mark. That's where the conversation was.
Starting point is 00:51:50 And this is where Joe is full of shit. Last episode of Patreon, I said he was in his mirror with a hairbrush singing Vision of Love in Someday in sixth grade. Mm-hmm. Yeah, that's the shit that should have you crying. But then we also morphed. It wasn't Someday for me.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Which one was it? I said it was Love Takes Time. Love Takes Time, oh yeah, you singing that, yeah. But then the conversation morphed. It wasn't Someday for me. Which one was it? I said Love Takes Time. Love Takes Time, oh yeah, you singing that, yeah. You singing that. But then the conversation morphed into who had an effect. Someday was for the wife, Shana. Who's death had an effect on you. Shout out to all the queer youth out there.
Starting point is 00:52:13 Go ahead, go ahead, man. No, then the con. Marcus Shady. Then the conversation morphed into whose death would or has had an effect on you that may not have had the same effect on other people. Like for me, it was people that we thought couldn't die. For me, I'll give you two of mine.
Starting point is 00:52:32 Anthony Bourdain and Philip Seymour Hoffman. When I saw that they passed away, I felt like, really? I'm with you, but. Anthony Bourdain, I mean, I just, I didn't see what's up. I mean, I knew Anthony Bourdain, we worked, I just, I didn't see him. I mean, I knew Anthony Bourdain, we worked together. We shared that space sometimes. I didn't cry.
Starting point is 00:52:50 All right, all right. Flex if you want to. No, no, no, no, flex, I'm just saying like, I get, it was the suddenness of it. That's why I'm talking about impact. It may not have had the same impact on you that him and his career had on me. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:53:02 That's fair. To me, he's like upper echelon of like storytelling and just presence and intellect and all the things. Philip Seymour Hoffman was one of my like top three actors of all time. So I was very sad that I was never- Is he black? No, the white guy from, this guy, man.
Starting point is 00:53:17 So you just naming white people in our talk? This guy, yo. Why you gotta be so racist? What? It's impossible. They're trying to record me picking up my phone. Okay, let me ask. Okay, all right, wait. How many of us were devastated?
Starting point is 00:53:31 Look at who the fuck Mel is talking about. How many of us were devastated when we heard Robin Williams died? Okay, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I wasn't devastated. I was sad though. Okay, maybe I'm putting... That's what I'm saying. Andy Rodeo was sad to me because of how he died. What Ian raises here? Yeah, wait a minute. It's the tragedy. But I was sad. Okay, maybe I'm putting some sad. Anthony Bourdain was sad to me because of how he died. But like I wasn't like,
Starting point is 00:53:45 wait a minute. Wait a second. It's the tragedy. Wait a second. Both of them were both tragedies. Yes, I was sad when Robin Williams died. I was sad as well. Okay, well then stop.
Starting point is 00:53:53 Yes, I was devastated to learn that Robin Williams was home with his entire family, went up to a side room, tied some fucking knot in the fashion that he did and did this with his kids and wife in the house that's devastating okay Anthony Bourdain more of the same did Philip Seymour drumming I'm asking he had he died of drug overdose, because he had the same issues that Robin Williams had and the same issues that Andy Bourdain had.
Starting point is 00:54:29 So he didn't self-transition. Accidentally. It's all tragic. That's the point, is it's all tragic. These are people that you- Did you cry? Yeah, I shed a tear. This level was tragic.
Starting point is 00:54:38 It bothered me. It was really like- Were you in the bed like, oh, I can't believe- No, I could move on with my fucking life. Phillip Seymour Hockman. Last time I saw him on with my fucking life. Last time I saw him it was Mission Impossible. Yeah, it was like, it was like, it was like, fuck outta here with you.
Starting point is 00:54:52 And he bodied that shit though. Smoking was an amazing act. He bodied that shit. Oh he's a beast. Okay, yo, you guys know how I feel about actors. Y'all know how I feel about actors. White actors. Shut the fuck up, okay?
Starting point is 00:55:02 White bar. You know, you guys keep that shit up, okay? I got a trouble. I know you fucking did. Boy, name some more people. Like how many more names before we... Like, if Ben Zell passed away, I'd be sad. Name a couple more people.
Starting point is 00:55:13 Same! And when Prince and Michael Jackson passed away, I was like, I had a very inconsolable day. It was hard. I was sad about Mike. Prince, who left? Really? Who would fuck you up?
Starting point is 00:55:25 Who would die? Who would? Boy, boy, boy. Larry Davidson. Like the way I had that Mariah moment. You said Larry Davidson. Hov. I got a list.
Starting point is 00:55:34 Hov would be sick. Hov would fuck me up. I have a vlog list. There's a lot of people who would fuck me up. But sometimes it's the sticky circumstance. Joe would fuck me up. Oh, shit. I was like, yo, you be like, yo Ian, can I take the spot? Five days, five days a week, we can do this for my nigga Joe.
Starting point is 00:55:56 Joe would fuck me up, yo. I wouldn't be able to move, nigga. It's a damn shame. Hey yo Ian, what y'all doing with that nigga cars, y'all? Did he put my name down? No, joke. Y'all ain't shit. Right into the will.
Starting point is 00:56:12 Oh shit. Just leave something. Wait, put your name down where? In the will. That's what he's working towards. No. Oh shit. Oh no.
Starting point is 00:56:20 Oh no. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit In the will. That's what he's working towards. No. No. No.
Starting point is 00:56:30 No. My will must be chump. If that's what he's been working towards. I feel like it's my job to make this be less morbid. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Please do. Although I don't know if you're the best guy for the job, to be honest with you.
Starting point is 00:56:46 So, something does need our attention. All right, let's get it. We got this. And this is very important. Sure. Urgent, if you will. Okay. Prize picks can wait a second.
Starting point is 00:56:58 This is more important. Always. Oh man. All right, let's do it. Oh man. Alright, let's do it. Seven o'clock in the day, I'm in my drum time, who's in the street? Huh? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:12 Yeah. Who? Yeah. One more again, for the people in the back. Seven o'clock in the day, I'm in my drum time, who's in the street? Who's? Imani's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:57:21 That was fucked up. That's Imani? That's usher. That's hilarious. That was fucked up. That's Imani? That's Usher. That was Usher. No, this is Usher. It's actually Usher. This is Usher. This is Usher.
Starting point is 00:57:32 And I'm going to play it one more time. Hold on. Play that again. Usin' the Sheets? For the people in the back. Seven o'clock in the day, I'm in my drum time, who's in the street? Hey, don't switch no lyrics on me now, who's in the street? Hey, don't switch no lyrics on me now. Who's in the street?
Starting point is 00:57:49 That's not what he says. Isn't that Usher? That is Usher. I don't care who that is. He forgot his words. I don't give a fuck who that is. It's Cruz in the street. It's Cruz in the street.
Starting point is 00:57:57 I'm in my drop top, who's in the street? I get it, but maybe we did have it wrong. No, we didn't. Who's in the street? You're not going not gonna Mandela effect me on this one. He trying to T-Pain shit too. He trying to T-Pain us. He saw T-Pain got it off, so he still let me switch mine up too.
Starting point is 00:58:12 Wait, what was T-Pain's again? All I do is win. No, not that one. It was that one too. So wait, what was it? What do you say it was? Everybody's hands go up and they stay there and they say yeah.
Starting point is 00:58:24 And it was, we was just saying and they stay there He's like no, I say something else No way on no way on earth he's saying by you and drink in the streets is by you a drink that was This one man, where you was at this time man? Working out at Bally's in the streets. You can hit stare. You can have it. Yes. No, no, no. He said the same thing for places. Usher went back and redid some of these shit too. He went back and redid some of these shit too. You can hear the new vocals.
Starting point is 00:59:14 Holy shit. I ain't rolling. It's hard to tell with that little swoop sound right there. I'm not rolling. He got us, Joe. No, he didn't. He got us. It's hard to tell with the little swoopy.
Starting point is 00:59:23 Y'all ain't playing. No, he got us, boss. Fuck out of here. You don't get the acapella button on your shit. Yeah turn up drop the beat out Drop the meat Project of my environment Hard to tell a little sweep sweep. Yeah, that's we just fucking it up. No, that's Who's in the street because you're not hearing the... He's saying who's in the streets. It sounds a little like a cruise to me too.
Starting point is 00:59:52 I hear what you're... But hard C, hard R, it's not really there. He'd have to be like, who's in... Yeah, it's a soft C. He's doing a soft C. And that's where... He shouldn't be trying to correct nothing in 2025. Yo, listen. I think he should. I'm fighting correct nothing in 2025. Listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen, listen Cedosius I'm in my drop top and seven outside Look at the next lyrics right after that
Starting point is 01:00:29 Well, if you don't send along with it That don't even go away who's in the streets,'m looking for who's in the streets cause I got this way to release it I mean he's collecting sorry buddy can we ask somebody? hey yo listen this might be a uh you gotta hold the version? no this might be an official

I should push your sexy voice It's seven o'clock on the dot I'm in my drop top cruise in the street There we go, we heard it sorry, I'll show you're fucking wrong
Starting point is 01:01:29 Just trying to get some talk going. I should try to Yo, listen listen T pain and buy you a, it was, and the real lyrics was, and then I'ma take you home with me, but we thought it was ooh-wee. I'ma take you home with me. It is ooh-wee. No, it's not. It's definitely ooh-wee.
Starting point is 01:01:56 It's and then. No, that's corny. He said, he clarified it. How do you mix up and then with ooh-wee? He's wrong. Because of how you said it. It's two different mouth sounds. And then I'ma take you home with me. Oh, please, please. Yeah, no. It of how he said it. It's two different like mouth sounds. I'ma buy you a drink and then I'ma take a wee. Oh please, please.
Starting point is 01:02:05 Yeah, no. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee.
Starting point is 01:02:13 It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee.
Starting point is 01:02:21 It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee. It's a wee.! A sun peek out with metal not acting. Somebody out here, girl! Starting point is 01:03:23 Don't forget about Quentin Grimes though. He's been lightingening up lately. Yeah, I'm so mad that we gave him the Dallas and then Dallas gave him the y'all. And I'm so mad he keeps scoring. Well, he went to Detroit somewhere in there too, I think, but Quinton Grimes, all right. He's fucking up the plan right now. Paul George, we're trying to be losing now and now they want to win.
Starting point is 01:03:38 Actually, you know what? Mark is right. I will take Quinton Grimes. Cuz he ain't gonna stop no time. Give me Quinton. Yeah, he can really shoot. Give me Quinton Grimes for more than. 20? Yeah, more than 20 points.
Starting point is 01:03:52 Give me SGA for more than 24 points. What else, give me some more. Y'all play the Spurs. We play the Spurs. We play the Spurs. Away games. Yeah, no, give me Kat. Give me Kat, no Wimby. Wimby killed us, I was at that game in the garden.
Starting point is 01:04:15 Give me Kat for more than four boards. He only rebounded enough for me. Give me Kat for more than 18 points. All right, and the last one, I'll give you Nuggets Lakers. Nuggets Lakers. Nuggets Lakers. I'm telling you, I really do like the Lakers in the conference final. Against Golden State?
Starting point is 01:04:35 I don't know if Golden State gets there. I like the Lakers to get there. And I think I saw Steve and they say that the wildest finals matchup would be the Lakers versus Cleveland with the bronze Trying to stop Cleveland from getting a champion. That would be amazing. That's so that's great. So interesting. I was great TV right there That'd be amazing. That's super interesting. Uh Give me Austin Reese for more than 18 points and yeah, I'm good. I'm good. That's for me. That's what I'm cool. I'm cool

That's important all of that music shit sounds boring to me. I ain't gonna lie It does I don't care about none of it. Let me see. What do I have here that could be interesting?
Starting point is 01:05:41 could be interesting Okay interesting. Could be interesting. Okay. And in everything is on camera news nowadays. Mel sent something funny but before Mel sent something funny, somebody else sent it to me so I'd already synced it. But then I seen something else and I think it was this girl from Portland got in a fight wherever she was from this girl got in a fight and she got the brakes beat off her. Was fucking this girl up but in the process she dropped her key fob. So the girl she beat up took the key fob and apparently to know each other and went to her house and
Starting point is 01:06:28 Ransacked it whole crib and taped it. Oh shit. No, she fucked that house up broke the TV the loser Which made me want to ask y'all which one you would rather be in that equation The girl got beat up I which one you would rather be in that equation? The girl that got beat up. I'd rather be the person beating up. Getting beat up? No. Or the aggressor? The aggressor, yeah.
Starting point is 01:06:54 Okay. I'll get beat up before you ruin my whole house. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've been the other person already that had walked in the house and saw your shit fucked up. So yeah, I'll take that. You're saying it's the little asshole, but it ain't so bad. Yeah, I'm'll take that. You're saying it wrong. You're saying it's the little asshole but it ain't so bad.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Yeah, I'ma take that aside. You said you'd be the who? I said I'll get beat up before I allow my entire house to be renovated. The person got beat up was the one that destroyed the house. Yeah, that's the thing. She got beat up, picked up the key, Farb, and said, okay. I know, I'm saying I'd rather be her.
Starting point is 01:07:18 Rather than having his house destroyed, he would rather get beat up. The choice is between getting your ass beat and getting your house brand-sat. I thought he was talking about the outcome. In that situation. The outcome of the entire situation. It's not the same situation.
Starting point is 01:07:29 No, because it's the one about your ass. The girl that got beat up is the one who ransacked the house. Not the one that beat up. Yeah. I know that. So would you rather be the, would you rather get beat up and have a chance to go destroy somebody's house,
Starting point is 01:07:39 or would you rather be, beat somebody up and have your house destroyed up? Yeah. I'm confused why this is confusing. No, it's not. You know he said it wrong, right? All right. Thank you, man.
Starting point is 01:07:49 Alice and Betty. No, don't do that. Alice beat Betty's ass. Don't hype. Betty even went to Alice's house and tore it down. Do you want to be Alice or do you want to be Betty? He said I'd rather... Yeah, but he said it backwards.
Starting point is 01:07:59 N***a, stop fucking being on this... I'm not on this side. He said I'd rather get beat up than have my house destroyed. And that's the same... Exactly. The person that and that's exactly the person that got beat up destroyed the house So how would you rather get? Like too off now like it ain't that deep. This is like the little meme I seen. Somebody was in Jersey City. These guys are very...
Starting point is 01:08:28 And they was pulling the camera at people. And it was like, yo, James' grandson is my son. Who is James to me? You know, that shit fucked up. You know, it was so confused. So I feel like this is one of those moments where I'm saying, you're right and Mark is right. I'm saying I would rather get beat up then
Starting point is 01:08:49 Have my house have my house Ransom the winner of the fight got her house ransacked. Yes, the loser of the fight ransacked the house, right? So you're trying to get the fight and go rams versus yeah and go I'm picking to lose the fight. And go ransack first. Versus, yeah, and go ransack. Oh, so you're not talking about that, but do you switch it? Have my house be ransacked.
Starting point is 01:09:08 He didn't switch it. He didn't switch it, he's saying the same thing. He just said which person in the sedators you wanna be. It's okay, yo. Okay. It's okay. It's cool. Okay. Anyway. I have a question.
Starting point is 01:09:16 Like I said. All right, it's seven fucking apples. All right, let's go. Yo, you guys think, are you guys trolling for real? No. Wait, wait. Hold on, hold on. There are seven people in this room, we all understand it.
Starting point is 01:09:27 Is it possible we're on the right side of this? I have a question. That's not true you're picking. You're being whooped we're too. Seven people do not agree. Three of them. Raise your hand if you agree to what he's saying makes sense whether you agree with him or not. It makes sense now.
Starting point is 01:09:38 It makes sense now. It always made sense. Yes. The entire time it made sense. Okay. Nah, nah. Go back and rewind. It's okay. It's fine. Nah, nah it made sense. Okay. All right, go back a little bit. It's okay. It's fine.
Starting point is 01:09:47 Nah, nah, I'm getting up. I'm moving. I have one question. I'm not going to allow him or you to do that on camera. It's going to change the energy in this room. You're both being playing around, and I'm going to get up and take a break, sit down over there, and I'm going to come back when I call, because I don't want to mess up the show, because in my mind, I'm going to put it in my brain that you all played with me,
Starting point is 01:10:04 and I'm going to look for opportunity to play with both of y'all. So what I'm going to do, I'm going to take a step over there as an adult, sit to myself and count to 10. Do a box of breaths. This is definitely an adult move. I just want to point out that he took my time. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:10:19 That is the adult thing to do when we can't agree on the hypothetical. Go take some time. Go take time off. Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go take some time off.
Starting point is 01:10:31 Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go sit alone to yourself. Go take some time off. Go take some time off. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself.
Starting point is 01:10:37 Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself.
Starting point is 01:10:44 Go sit alone to yourself. Go sit alone to yourself. Do the math. And look, Matt was down with you. She left you hanging too. No, I was like do a box breath, like Navy SEALs. On to part two of way too much is caught on camera. In for four, out for four. In Newark, New Jersey, the pimp parked his car outside the Catholic church. And punched the pastor? Yeah. Right, right. Look. And walked in and punched the pastor.
Starting point is 01:10:59 And the shit that I saw, it was just a headline that said, yo, pimp punches the pastor over some unpaid debt. So I was like, bet, I was satisfied. I skipped that one. I was satisfied with that. So then a video started playing. And I said, no, they did not record the nigga hitting. Well, they record church.
Starting point is 01:11:20 Yeah, but they, I was saying in my head, they better not show that to me. Oh, no. They should. And sure enough. Money walked up there smooth, too. Smooth and a white. Yeah, but they I was saying in my head they better not show that to me. Oh, no And sure enough money walked up there smooth, too In a white touching the ground white sweater easter outfit He was there 30 minutes before the church was yes waiting And what was funnier is there was a cop behind him the whole time. There was trying to go get to him
Starting point is 01:11:43 Trying to get to him to stop He trying to go get to him, trying to get to him to stop. He boop bopped that guy. The guy ran to the side, I'm like, all right, y'all don't think we have access to too much now. We shouldn't be seeing these things. Yes. We shouldn't be seeing these things. We shouldn't be hearing anybody's thoughts either. Facts.
Starting point is 01:12:00 Or reading them. He pushed it past him. The pep got up there, he walked slow too. He didn't past us. Yo, he's my, the pimp got up there, he walked slow too. He didn't rush, he walked the style. And dude knew what he was. Yeah. He knew what he was.
Starting point is 01:12:11 He knew what he did. He knew. Aw shit. Yo, y'all niggas are gonna fuck them shit in New York, nigga. Listen, man, you're dead. Are y'all for Street Justice or no? Yes, I'm for Street Justice. No, I'm not.
Starting point is 01:12:23 All right, this is not? I am. Most of the time. Parks? Yeah, I'm for Street Justice. No, I'm not. All right, he's not? I am. Most of the time. Parks? Yeah, I'm cool, I'll watch the video. Parks is, Flip is a little bit. No, I'm for Street Justice. Oh, you all the way.
Starting point is 01:12:35 Mark is? Most of the time. Most times. Mel? In the right circumstances, yep. Absolutely. If you would say so. Look at Flip.
Starting point is 01:12:45 Why you so stupid? You know what I'm saying. You could've just let her answer and that be the end. Why you gotta be all dumb? I love her. I love her. She don't. Why, what you gotta say?
Starting point is 01:12:54 Nah, no, no, nope. You ain't gonna trick me. Okay. I ain't having an HR meeting, nope. Nope. Cause when they arrested the pastor dude, I was like. The pimp dude. I mean the pimp dude.
Starting point is 01:13:04 I was like, I don dude. I mean the pimp dude. I was like I Don't know if this is right Cuz the homeboy should have paid your what he did Steps of services he should have paid your money and we know that That that old-ass dude went to his ass over there by the junction and bought some pussy And then I owe you and then went to the fucking, yeah, and then went to the pedestal to fucking talk some good God shit.
Starting point is 01:13:29 You know he wouldn't do that. Yeah, for sure. I didn't know you could do that. You could buy a crate. And that says. It depended on, well, anywhere. You're on different anywhere. No, just anywhere.
Starting point is 01:13:38 Yeah, just get it back to me. They gotta lay away. But that speaks to the audacity. You're not gonna promise me some shit don't pay my worker and then go to work and it's all good spread the good word I know where you at yeah and I know what time you're gonna be there. Sorry buddy. You watch that shit for real? Yes. How he walked up there smooth. Nine times I watched it.
Starting point is 01:14:03 That nigga, he slap him or punched him? Punched him. He knocked that nigga. Punched him. And his mans didn't do nothing. Hit the little alter. Hey yo, y'all can't do that CCC in Brooklyn. CCC church them security guards is fucking you up.
Starting point is 01:14:17 Leave it alone. CCC and Allen's in Queens. Y'all can't do that. All that pimp walking up, shillowing them niggas is fucking you up before you even get through the door. Security is extremely serious in there, in those mega churches.
Starting point is 01:14:30 Oh yeah, that's like get to a superstar. Yeah. Oh no, they couldn't do that, rest in peace over at Christian Love either. He knew where to do with that. Oh no, you couldn't do that in a Christian Love. No, you couldn't do that there. Was Christian Love, I don't know if that was a church.
Starting point is 01:14:42 It's in Jordan, rest in peace, that was his church. But you're not do that there. What's Christian love? I don't know if that was a church. It's in Jordan. God rest in peace. That was his church. But you're not walking in there like that. We talking about mega churches, I ain't gonna lie. This is wrong. But the footage of Bishop Lamont church getting robbed. Yo, the more white head. Y'all seen it?
Starting point is 01:14:58 Yes, we did. Yeah. A bunch of times you seen it done? The robbery that he set up. That means we've seen it. The robbery that he set up. I could chore's seen it. The robbery that he set up. I could choreograph it. I seen that shit like it was Harlem Nights, nigga.
Starting point is 01:15:09 I've seen it a million times. I'm so glad Regis Jims sold his back, by the way. Me too. I ain't started back yet, but yeah. He locked up now, right? Yeah, he was here like three weeks ago. He's locked up, but when you watch the footage of that church, like, you should have been robbing the church.
Starting point is 01:15:25 Like this was a church on top of- He set it up, nigga. There's no other way that a criminal thought to rob that church. Like when they showed the outside view of it, nobody said. They got him right there. That's it, right there.
Starting point is 01:15:41 He's sitting there, hell, man. He's suing them. Nobody called him to homies. He's like, yo, I know where it's at, my nigga. That shit is a there, it's in there. Nobody called up the homies. Yo, I know where it's at, my nigga. That shit is a mess, that one. Yeah. Anyway.
Starting point is 01:15:50 It's the top of a furniture store or something. Nigga, I remember Maya Angelou was at Riz Pigs, was at CCC, nigga. They wasn't playing, those fucking, they mad aggressive. Y'all niggas, this is the house of the Lord. They extremely aggressive. Yeah, them armor-bearers.
Starting point is 01:16:02 Yeah, I don't know why they like that. I tried to walk in there with my hat on, nigga. That nigga pushed me to the... I said, I'm... Because the white church, you can wear your hat. They let you get it off. Come as you are. Yeah, come as you are.
Starting point is 01:16:13 But not the black church. Maya Angelou, hear that? The lights and shit. We're so lost as a people. Niggas named the whole list of fucking famous people today would be destroyed if they left. It wasn't a sign of Maya Angelou. It wasn't a great black excellent. It was Mariah Carey, Spud Webb, Lloyd Banks. We will never overcome as a people. That's why he was mad at my, the OGs.
Starting point is 01:16:45 Shout out to my Angeles. This is my hero. Zero? Philip Wiseman Drummond. You know why I keep fucking this thing? Yo, man. What his name? Yo, man, man, I've been getting off some bullshit.
Starting point is 01:17:01 Philip fucking Drummond Wiseman. If you don't get him the fuck out of here. If you don't get him the fuck out of here. Mission Impossible nigga. Get out of here. So many more great movies. Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. I've never met anybody else that's watched that movie.
Starting point is 01:17:19 Great movie. Before the Devil Knows You're Dead. Always some sick shit. You know a lot of crazy shit, Mel, you and Paul. I watch a lot of crazy shit. I like movies. Yeah, see? Philip Hackman.
Starting point is 01:17:32 You talked over my fucking Gene Hackman tribute. I was fucked up. I did not. Niggas didn't give a fuck about Gene. Y'all saw so much shit. Time to stop, we care about Gene. We care about Gene. Yo, niggas get on these podcasts, Mike, come on.
Starting point is 01:17:46 Somebody segue us out of here. Niggas gave G and his wife a whole 20 seconds. Junior, Bridgman, and Lam. Y'all don't be giving a fuck. Now all of a sudden, y'all got a list of who y'all gonna be destroyed about. I do got my list. Holy shit.
Starting point is 01:18:03 None of them ain't on there. Who's on your list? He said Hov. Yeah, I got Hov on my list I never heard of your list, who's on your list? He said Hov? Yeah, I got Hov on my list AI is on my list Snoop is on my list AI like, oh, Alan Iveson Yeah, for sure
Starting point is 01:18:13 These are people that That makes sense Yeah, they've been a lot, they minute. How long though, like a month? Nah, nah. Oh, dang. No, no. If I don't know them, it's like a day or two. And then the funeral.
Starting point is 01:18:31 Yeah, if I don't have no personal relationship with you. Like, told me I knew, so I was upset. I'm still upset about it. But like Michael Jackson, it was more like that day. Then I anchored the funeral and I cried. Like during the funeral, when Stevie started singing. Stevie sang, I Never Dreamed You'd Leave It in the Summer. We was all fucked up.
Starting point is 01:18:44 Because it was like, Can you pull that mic close to you? Oh, I Never Dreamed You Leave It in the summer. We was all fucked up. Cause it was like, can you pull that mic close to you? Oh, I'm sorry. The, yeah. You know you ain't but five, four niggas close to the damn mic. Yeah, something like that. Like just cause a lot of times it be the tragedy of it.
Starting point is 01:18:56 Don't be that the person meant that much to you. Nonsense. You know what I mean? It'd be like that this thing, well, Kobe, even if you didn't love basketball and you didn't know him, it's still like something about somebody at that age dying and like messes your head up.
Starting point is 01:19:07 Same thing with Michael Jackson for me. Same thing with him. And Anthony more than him. I would say Michael went too early for me. Yeah. I would say I had this one. We can move on, but I'm dying to know who would have been on y'all list
Starting point is 01:19:20 ages ago before celebrity and fame and fame and groupieism took over Like anybody that was like a world changer Nelson Mandela Tesla you told niggas When Mike died you said whoever made bread Uncle Ben right right Famous Amos Mandela is good. No, it's a mandela. He that was a good one. I didn't cry though I was damn I didn't cry for that one as you mentioned it. I was at a funeral, too
Starting point is 01:19:56 I didn't cry, but I was sad you went to a lot of Yeah, I probably should have Mark. Now I feel like an asshole. Yeah, I probably should've. Mark be trying to get booked at nigga's funerals to speak. I was for, no it's just. Trying, what you mean trying? Right. As a journalist, I go to a lot of funerals to cover him
Starting point is 01:20:16 and then I end up just going and staying. So like, I went to South Africa for his. It was amazing. You know what it was? It was so amazing, you almost didn't have time to be sad because there was so much partying and so much traveling and all of that stuff. It was in, he laid in state,
Starting point is 01:20:27 so he went to like 12 cities, like to follow him and be dead. But anyway. Yo, thank God for technology. The obituary was such a horrible way to learn that somebody died. Or open the papers. God damn.
Starting point is 01:20:41 Holy shit. In the Caribbean, they put that shit on the TV. At night. This person died. The daily obituaries. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, on the television. Oh, nah. I think I rather the paper shit.
Starting point is 01:20:51 Yeah. Watch my show and then I'm fucked up. Can we talk about the fucked up obituaries, though? Like, like, later on? Niggas, some of the obituaries be fucked up and nasty, nigga, and I don't like it. They be leaving it to their kids, they want to go the cheap route,
Starting point is 01:21:06 this shit be the bullshit paper. The shit with the ink. The ink falling off. I don't like that shit, yo. I got a problem with that. Talk about families getting nasty with the obituaries too. Yeah. Leaving people out.
Starting point is 01:21:19 Yeah, all that shit. We was beeping with her, we don't like her, her name ain't going in here. It's not time for you to get your personal grievance out when somebody passes away. You know, you're supposed to follow how they feel, but you can't do that. Them niggas be disrespectful and spend some money.
Starting point is 01:21:32 I had no, I was not in my family. My sister died, I think I was in one picture. No, I was in no pictures. I fucked up. They had every day, like cousins, aunties, fucking tutors. Who was responsible for putting together the montage? Her daughter. Mm. Oh. What was her beef with together the montage? Her daughter. Mm.
Starting point is 01:21:45 Oh. What was her beef with you? He was rich and he wasn't around, nigga. I never think that a sibling should do it. I agree. But who do you get to do it, though? One of the old heads of the family. Yeah, that's who she does.
Starting point is 01:21:56 An older person? One of the old, even if it's not an age, one of the older heads in the family. Mm. Got it. Who's more responsible, who's going to get all the pictures that talk to everybody. One that's going to do it right.
Starting point is 01:22:08 That's going to say, hey, Mark ain't in enough pictures yet, this person's going to do it right. I'd be fucked up, you'd be at the theater sitting there waiting for your drink to come off. When they start reading names, you just sitting there. That's how it was. Mark was sitting there like That's how it was. Munger. In my chair.
Starting point is 01:22:26 Wait. Munger sitting there like that? That shit. Munger like this. He was in the front, too. Munger was like this in the front, hands folded. Oh, they probably, they ain't freeway out. Freeway out.
Starting point is 01:22:40 No pictures today. Oh, shit. That had been even worse. Like, yo, I was there. No, when you sitting there. Munger's crazy. Zoom out. Oh that have been even worse like I was there You could tell me they get into the end of the montage It's dark into the ocean. He just died pictures like the recent pictures. Yeah, you're like, I know I'm in some more big I wasn't in none. I wasn't even in the book. Yeah, they show you a show you a motherfucker whole life Looking at when it was one.
Starting point is 01:23:13 Oh shit. So speaking of this, this is part of my bill burr review. Okay. Bill Burr says something I thought was really interesting, which was why are we still having open caskets? Oh, I was with him on that a hundred percent he, while he was joking, the more he talked about it, I'm like, you know, that's totally correct. Why are we still having open caskets? We were forcing people to go look at some dead motherfucking lion there. Looking though maybe made up right or not be made up right. And I take your word. If you say that this person is dead, then they died. Like I don't need to see the proof
Starting point is 01:23:48 right at the top of the fucking service. He gotta answer the text, so. Yeah. I believe you. Yeah, opencast could just seem a little. I feel like you might know the history of why there's, why we have opencast that's casting our audience. All right, back him to fun.
Starting point is 01:24:01 I really do. I really do. Back him to fun. It's a great way to back there. There we go. Oh, that's the Roomba. Back him up to fun. Mark, what is the history of this?
Starting point is 01:24:09 I mean, I'm just saying, like, in order to like, okay, fine, fine, fine. I'll back away. Fine. I'll back away. It'll be interesting. That's that Philip Dyson more shit. What do y'all think about this? I've always thought that open caskets were really fucking creepy.
Starting point is 01:24:20 Yeah. This is a really morbid episode. It really is. It is. It is. It is. It is. Shit. What do y'all think about this? I've always thought that open caskets were really fucking creepy. Yeah. This is a really morbid episode.
Starting point is 01:24:29 It really is. It is. Fuck it. I just think it's creepy for kids. It's creepy for everybody. It's creepy for everybody. It's some funerals I've been to, it allowed you to, it's like that last bit of closure.
Starting point is 01:24:41 Wanting to say goodbye, I understand. If the kid is old enough for they had to be peeking up, then that's bad, but you don't want to see that. But if they small enough to where you don't even really. You don't know what's going on up in there. They should be done up. They be having LEDs. The kids, they be having glass and that shit.
Starting point is 01:25:03 They be propped up. They be like, all right, man. Yeah, your Phil person, they'd be in there all propped up. All right, go ahead. Go ahead, listen, take it away. No, I'm listening to you. I'm listening to you. I'm with you, I don't like seeing that shit.
Starting point is 01:25:23 It's just wack. I like seeing it before it starts. I'll take it away. Yeah, I'm listening to you. I'm listening to you. I'm with you. I don't like seeing that shit. It's in his whack. I like seeing it before it starts. Yeah, yeah, the wake. So like when my dad died, the night before you go, you look at him, you know, say your goodbyes or whatever.
Starting point is 01:25:35 The next day, I don't feel the need to see him again. The problem now is, because everybody ain't got it, so you're doing it all in one shot. Yeah. Ain't no more. The wake used to be the night before. Right. And then the funeral was the next day. Right. I just went to one, just started at one shot. Yeah. Ain't no more, the wake used to be the night before. Right. And then the funeral was the next day.
Starting point is 01:25:45 Right. I just went to one, just started at 1 p.m. I like, wait, it's starting at 1? And that was the wake. Oh, hell no. Yeah, you just don't get to see him. To me, you just don't get to see him. I mean, some people like to kiss the body,
Starting point is 01:25:57 goodbye and all that stuff. Yeah, some, yeah. You know. What? What really pissed me off though is when they start taking pictures. But that's some new shit. I know, it's new shit. That, that, I don't care what, that really pissed me off though is when they start taking pictures. Well that's some new shit. I know it's new shit.
Starting point is 01:26:05 I don't care what that really pissed me off when I started seeing pictures of the funeral. Somebody walking up to the casket. Yo fam fam. Yeah that's weird. Hey yo real quick, real quick. Since we talking about that, I just got a, my wife just got a call that her aunt in Canada wants to, she's passing away, but she wants to, she wants help with a company called Maid, I think.
Starting point is 01:26:30 Medical Assistance in Dying. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yo, and she asked me how I felt about that, but I'm like, nigga, I don't. It's like legal euthanasia? Yes. I don't know, I guess that. Yeah, that's the company that come kill you fast. No. Well, no. I think it's selfish.
Starting point is 01:26:42 No, it's, it's. I know it's selfish, call me, man. It's only for terminal patience. But I thought about you. It's not selfish. If you have like two to three weeks left and the quality of your life is so, you know, is just, is non-existent, then that's a choice. Well, how many times have we had people
Starting point is 01:26:58 have two to three weeks left and they lived for years? That is a fact. You know what I'm saying, man? I'm going to back out of this conversation. How many times we hear people have two to three weeks left and they lived for years? That is a fact. You know what I'm saying, man? So you never really know. I'm gonna back out of this conversation. I apologize.
Starting point is 01:27:10 I think y'all have to. It's called made though. You know about it, right, man? If you have misery, I think people, I think people right to die with dignity and I think we should make our own choices. We gotta get a call. Like y'all, I'm about to have somebody help
Starting point is 01:27:23 me transition on to the afterlife. Yeah, I mean, if you like. You should respect that person's wishes. OK. Yeah, let that person sound away with it. She did respect, but I just didn't at the time. I'm sorry. I think sometimes.
Starting point is 01:27:31 I think the opposite is selfish, actually. Keeping them alive when they want to go. Well, like, because, Flip, you said you believe that person doing that is being selfish. Yeah, because it's so many things. It's their life. It's their life. I got it.
Starting point is 01:27:43 They're the one in pain. So they're the ones that want to leave. So I think it's really it be us who still. I want to go. I want to go hang out with you. That's the selfish part. You want to say I'm selfish. Stay in excruciating pain so that I can get that for you.
Starting point is 01:27:55 Because I don't want to grieve you. Well, no, no, no. Stay here. I'm being. No, no, no. I don't want them to stay in pain. But obviously, if you could hold on a little bit bit longer so the family could come around and gather around, we would love that, that's it, that's all I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:28:07 I don't want to be selfish and make a mockery out of it because obviously it's important to the family and to my wife. So why can't you just go now? Yeah. He got a lot of things to do. And you got another room to do. Oh shit.
Starting point is 01:28:21 Man, that's not nice. I'm not, listen, I'm not. Another room to do, man? With my fucking aunt in law passing away? Go now. Then go. Go now. Truthfully, you.
Starting point is 01:28:32 Go now. Get up and go now. He's like, I get paid for episodes. I'm not leaving here until Wednesday morning. Since it's so important to you, drop everything and go now. Thank you, man. I got you. Okay. I want to make amends too much last month.
Starting point is 01:28:44 I'm sorry, Nana. I'm going to put you on my friend. That's not funny, Joe. I need this bread. What's wrong with you? I need it right now. I'll do this for you, Nana. You wouldn't even want me to miss all this money.
Starting point is 01:28:52 If you knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew.
Starting point is 01:29:00 Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nana knew. Oh, if only Nanna knew. Sometimes you gotta do it in the name of Nanna, yo. Fuck that. Got sent some flowers to the funeral.
Starting point is 01:29:18 What's wrong with you, yo? Oh shit. You sick, yo? Yo, what was that movie, I think like a man, what was that movie where their own boy died and at the end they all went to the beach and set the balloons up in their head? Why'd I get married?
Starting point is 01:29:34 Whatever movie that was. Why they was acting like that was really their dad, Omi, getting the balloon going to the, they stand there like nigga. Tribute. It's a tribute. It's a tribute. It's a tribute, fam. It's symbolic and meaningful. I don't go get in the house.
Starting point is 01:29:48 The only thing I would say on a serious note. This is the empath talking, guys. On a serious note though, as you think about, and I'm only saying it because we talked about this, like sometimes people, elderly people get depressed and they don't know what they want or they think they want one thing and they want something else. Terminal patience is one thing. I think people have a right to die with dignity. But I know what, like with my father, he he we they told us he was dying.
Starting point is 01:30:11 They said he got a couple of weeks, you know, just stop feeding them like, you know. Wait, what? They said like the feet because he didn't basically he didn't want to eat anymore. And so they said you can put it through a feeding tube or not. Right. And so I said and so I put it through a feeding tube or not. Right. And so I said, and so I said, dad, I had my other brothers bounced. They were left. They didn't want to do it. They had me do it. I'm the youngest. And I said, hey, do you want to,
Starting point is 01:30:33 you go throwing fresh. Yo, you ain't shit. I love the funeral story. I get it. My other brother's bounce. It was just me. Yo, fresh was like, you got this. So I went and I was like, yo, you know, I get it You got this So I went and I was like, yo, you know, do you do you want to keep doing a feeding tube or not? And he was like, I think I'm okay if I don't have the feeding tube And I said, I said I won't be upset with you
Starting point is 01:30:55 I won't be hurt if you're ready to go if you don't love the feeding tube, it's okay. He said let him go About two days later as we were starting to do that The doctor said let's give him one more thing for his appetite, is an appetite inducer, but it's also anti-depressant. He took it and it turned out after he took the appetite inducer not only did he want to eat, but he felt better and didn't want to die anymore. I came back two weeks later because I traveled to San Antonio, I was waiting for it, I was on standby. You're going too hard for part of the month now.
Starting point is 01:31:22 What? You're killing this shit. I came back two weeks later we moved into a transitional home because my mom didn't want to die at home and He was fucking up two plates of food. He was he was killing and he had gained like 10 15 pounds He looked like himself again And it was the fact that the appetite inducer was actually also anti-depressant I found out that a lot of elderly people are depressed and will be like fuck it like let me go
Starting point is 01:31:41 Yeah, because of the mood they're in that's not negating what you're saying Which is which is when you're terminally ill and you're in pain as different my dad was just depressed and will be like, fuck it, let me go, because of the mood they're in. That's not negating what you're saying, which is when you're terminally ill and you're in pain, that's different. My dad was just depressed. And knowing the difference between those two things is important. And that's all. And also, made is a very, it's a lengthy process.
Starting point is 01:31:54 You have to get asked a lot of questions. They really do a cognitive and psychological testing to make sure that you are of sound mind making this decision. They ask you in front of people. They ask you alone, are you being of sound mind making this decision. They ask you in front of people. They ask you alone, are you being coerced into this decision? Whoever's the executor of your will
Starting point is 01:32:10 cannot be a witness because that's a conflict of interest. It's a lengthy process. I'm telling y'all now in front of everybody, don't do that shit for me. Keep me alive no matter what. No DNR. Nigga, hook me to the car charger. I don't give a fuck what you gotta do
Starting point is 01:32:22 to figure out how to keep me alive. I don't care if I'm in pain. They figure something out. They find something new. It's not for me, but I respect everybody else's wishes. Yeah, I'm the opposite. You what? Once I get to a point where I can't do anything for myself
Starting point is 01:32:36 and y'all can let me go. I don't wanna be a burden on nobody. I feel that. Let me go. I wanna be a burden. These niggas been a burden on me a long time. All right. All right.
Starting point is 01:32:44 You got it. Okay. Send want to be a burden. These things been a burden on me a long time. All right. All right. You got it. Okay. Send me to Frasier. Pull out that hat in the back with all of our happy topics now. Uh, two hours in, who wants to get happy? Anybody?
Starting point is 01:32:56 You happy man? Or do we have any more stories? Shit, I'm still happy. About when our parents died or like somebody we love. What you guys think? Stop. Made some, yeah. Would you do it? Would you want to live? Come on. What we got happy? All right, Drake and UMG. That makes us happy. Let's do it Ice. Put that shit on, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, I said, rap battle that he provoked and in which he willingly participated, UMG argued in a motion to dismiss. Instead of accepting the loss like the unbothered rap artist he often claims to be, he has sued his own record label
Starting point is 01:33:53 in a misguided attempt to salve his wounds. Who wrote this? So, he had an ax to grind, didn't he? The label said, Not Like Us cannot form the bias of a defamation claim because Lamar's lyrics are protected as non-actionable opinion and rhetoric hyperbole. This is especially true in the context of a rap battle, UMG added, where diss tracks are often built around outrageous insults.
Starting point is 01:34:20 UMG noted that this type of hyperbole was present in the nine diss tracks Drake and Lamar collectively released during their 2024 rap battle and that Drake encouraged the feud by taunting Lamar to respond to his songs and lodge damning insults of his own including accusing Lamar of domestic abuse on the track Family Matters. So that's pretty admitted. I don't understand Drake's suit. I never understood it. Because... It was a battle. Not even just that. You're suing them for doing the same thing they did for you. Right. That's true.
Starting point is 01:34:59 That's the part that you benefited from this for years. And now it's, oh wait, if it's true, with y'all promoting the song yeah, I don't like that song though. It's about me and makes me look bad. I'm gonna sue you. It's all been bad. That's the part I just don't get and I hear a lot of people saying, oh, you're taking the side of the machine. I'm not taking the side of nothing in this.
Starting point is 01:35:25 I just don't understand. It's like it's cool as long as side of the machine. I'm not taking the side of nothing in this. I just don't understand. It's like it's cool as long as it works for me. I'm taking the side of rap battles. Yeah, it was a rap battle. Yeah, and it didn't go your way and that's it. I was still listening to Drake music. I still do listen to Drake's. I think a lot of people are in the same boat. The suit is stupid. I think it was all for the Super Bowl, but clearly, it's still happening, so I don't know. Following through?
Starting point is 01:35:50 I don't know. What y'all think? I think Party Next Door better be in the studio coming up with the fastest Nokia remix he can. That's what I think. It's my microphone. Are you fucking crazy as hell, nigga? We going to do an album together and your little song without me going to go?
Starting point is 01:36:11 You got me fucked up, nigga. He always get the bad end of the stick. I didn't even think about that. I'm listening to what they play on the radio. They play Nokia and give me a hug. Yeah. But give me a hug has Drake on it. No, that's what we're saying. Yeah, they don't have party.
Starting point is 01:36:34 Sorry. Nevermind. Baby girl. I know key is hard though. It is. Nigga, if I'm partying next door, I'm not leaving the studio until I think of a new one of that. For him to approve. For him to... You crazy?
Starting point is 01:36:52 Like damn, that is kind of fire. I'm gonna use that one though. Let me get that. New album coming. I'd be tight. I know niggas are not supposed to say that because it's still your album. No, I would be tight. 100%. I'd be tight. I don't give a fuck. I would say still your album. No, I would be tight. 100%. I'd be tight. I don't give a fuck. I would say it. I'm absolutely, I would be tight. I'm over the lawsuit shit. I'm over the lawsuit shit, above my pay grade.
Starting point is 01:37:13 I don't know who's doing what. I don't know why they're doing it. It's a last year thing to me. Let it be relevant to the people it's relevant to, which is UMG, Lucian, and fucking Drake, OVO, I don't care. I don't care. Like it has no bearing on me win or lose. I just want music. That's it. I don't even want that. No I want music. From niggas. I don't. Like y'all have trained me into okay there's we're not getting albums from all of the people I love. I told y'all throughout the whole week
Starting point is 01:37:46 I just be thinking of all of the artists that I love that just Often now like if y'all often the fuck I'm gonna be sitting by the iTunes store for right when they drop they'll drop That's what I'm saying. So this is like I if y'all that's all I care about They drop a really dope project and we'll get another one in six years Yeah, I mean Drake was the exception today And if they drop a really dope project, then we'll get another one in six years. Yeah. I mean, Drake was the exception to that. I'm not really talking about him because he was dropping. But it's scary out there.
Starting point is 01:38:12 I can go for a Drake album if he's just rapping. I hate the singing shit, but if he actually is just spitting bars, I could go for a Drake album. I don't think you ever get that. I think you've never gotten that. True. And nor will he ever do that because his fan base Is just too big for that. I
Starting point is 01:38:28 Just want a Drake album. I don't give a fuck what long as I don't want to experimental Drake like the dance album I don't need none of that. Give me Drake that I've become I've been a fan of since Fucking oh eight. It's room where daddy is coming. Mm-hmm. Sure and and it's room with that. It ain't gonna be long And you know, they just UMG lawsuit is gonna hem that up at all It doesn't happen. Yeah, he'll find a way say where you did with the party up That's just really pretty much a drink go go get with one producer or something and do it We've seen that trick a bunch of times. The producer album where it's his album featuring you or y'all together but now it's over there.
Starting point is 01:39:08 Got it. Or the label could have no problem with putting out a Drake album. I'm about to say it. That's awesome. Still profitable. We can have our fight and we can continue our fight but if you got one, we have paperwork that says
Starting point is 01:39:20 that we in on that. Where do you see this going? Like if you lose this? The lawsuit or what? I'm saying the lawsuit in general, right? They trying to get it dismissed. If it doesn't dismiss it, what does it put out there to the other artists?
Starting point is 01:39:33 It's gonna get dismissed, I think. I think it's gonna get dismissed. You think it's gonna get dismissed? Yeah. Same. But if it doesn't. Is there a counter suit? I don't know.
Starting point is 01:39:44 As of now, no. I have kind of clocked out of this as well. Got it. I think UMG's game was to get this dismissed out of hand early, and they didn't dismiss it. It's still moving forward. But I still think that it's not going to. I don't know if he'll be successful. It doesn't seem like he's going to be successful
Starting point is 01:39:59 based on what the legal expert. I'm not a legal expert, but that's what they're saying. I've heard the same. Do y'all think Luigi's getting off? No. We talked about that. I don't remember your answer. Well, we talked about jury selection
Starting point is 01:40:12 and just juries being committed to finding reasonable doubt. Yeah, that's why I wanna know y'all answer. I don't remember it. No, I don't think he's getting off at all. I think he's a Patsy and they're gonna make sure he don't get off. Patsy?, I don't remember it. No, I don't think he's getting off at all. I think he's a patsy and they're gonna make sure he don't get off. Patsy?
Starting point is 01:40:27 Like he didn't do it. When y'all say something, you don't think he did it? Hold on, wait, wait, wait, wait. When y'all say things like that, right, he didn't do it. You don't think he did it either? No, I was shaking my head how niggas always think somebody didn't do it.
Starting point is 01:40:41 Yeah, when y'all say, Yeah, right. Hey, I'm sorry, I like that. That was a gentle shake. When y'all say, when you say he didn't do it. Like, it's a conspiracy theory, right? Hey, I'm sorry, I always like that side, though. When you say he didn't do it. Those were his eyebrows. What do you think happened then? Like, do you think they just found somebody to make them be the four guy?
Starting point is 01:40:55 How did they convince him to be the four guy? They might not convince you. So he was on his way to do that actual thing, but somebody beat him to it and knew he was going to do it kind of thing? Or it could have been planned. He could have been coached through it like it wasn't just his idea. You were led to do this. So he might have actually executed you saying but just might not have been his plan. He was a tool. Cog in the wheel. Got it.
Starting point is 01:41:18 I don't know about that. Because early on people were saying that wasn't really him like he wasn't the guy like it was a mistaken identity all this crazy like this crazy like scandal shit, you know, I'm like, I don't believe that I think he did just what it looked like he pulled out a gun and shot somebody on broad daylight And he got the city bike and left. Mm-hmm and went to McDonald Fish the part that just got a little hey, I think he did it too all evidence on do I believe that? Yeah, do I believe that he was just needed to make chicken when he was, I thought he might be hungry, but yeah.
Starting point is 01:41:51 Too great of a plan to run to McDonald's and sit there with all the shit on him. It just makes me question things, like the amount of planning that went into doing that, and then the movement afterwards, they just don't. He's never gonna eat that, but how do you get food? Shave your eyebrows. Dog. No, not them eyebrows. How do you get food? Shave your eyebrows. Dog.
Starting point is 01:42:05 No, not them eyebrows. Nah, you can take them out. You would think the person that lays out that plan walks around with the evidence on him? Eyebrows? Well, it was a 3D gun, so it's not a traceable weapon, has no serial number or anything. So what would be the harm?
Starting point is 01:42:21 It's like the gun doesn't really exist. I get it, okay. I don't wanna hear none of that shit if I'm a dude that tried to shoot Trump It shot his a little walk. This dude's getting way too many props for me Like we don't know what this dude look like still right exactly No, they said No, they didn't kill him I don't think I don know. I think there was footage of them actually arresting him. I get confused. I don't remember to be honest. The earlobe guy? Mm-hmm. Let's check. I think I took him out. Niggas had to he had the niggas shook. I would love to be there for like the one year process of Luigi's trial.
Starting point is 01:43:03 That's gonna be tough. I don't know who you exclude. Would you want to be a juror? Yes. Yes, I would love to be a juror. Yeah, he was shot and killed. What's his name? Isn't that funny that we don't know the name
Starting point is 01:43:16 of the guy who tried to- Thomas Matthew Crooks. The dude with the glasses on the roof, right? Mm-hmm. See, I don't know about that one. See? Now I see. They paired. don't know about that one. See? Now I'm ice. They pale. They pale. You're like you're everybody. They did not kill that nigga. I'm more suspicious of that one. I think he did it too but I'm more suspicious of that one. Dog if somebody's trying to kill
Starting point is 01:43:34 the president you kill them so that we don't get information as to who you may or may not be working for? Yes. You damn right. Yeah, you got snipers. You damn right we kill him immediately. There was snipers everywhere, but yet they didn't see this kid. They saw him initially. They knew. And they did nothing. Listen, let him.
Starting point is 01:43:53 He's white. Listen, no. They want him to knock off Trump. Fam, the government, they turn, they turn a blind eye to certain shit, allow certain shit to happen. He fucked up. He did.
Starting point is 01:44:04 We gotta kill this nigga though. Right. Because if they get him and he start talking, it's a wrap. This is a, he fucked up. Fucking idiot. Nigga moved. Trump would move.
Starting point is 01:44:16 Of all people, yup. Trump would move. It was almost over for that. Yo, you saw how close that was? Mm-hmm. He just did a head turn to do some bullshit he did. Yo, Bill. Watch enough shit, man. They be telling you about this shit.
Starting point is 01:44:28 Wait, hold up. If you were a juror, what would you juror? What would I juror? What would you verdict be? Innocent or guilty? I would be there to listen to all of the evidence to make my decision objectively. Okay. What do you think it would be?
Starting point is 01:44:44 Not motherfucking guilty. Okay. What do you think it will be? Not motherfucking guilty. Okay. Alright. Free him. Oh shit. I feel like a lot of people feel that way because of how he looks. Yes they fuck me. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:44:56 It has nothing to do with the way he looks. It's tough to live in a world with all this patriarchy. It is. There you go. It's tricky. It's crazy. Stupid in a world with all this patriarchy. It is. There you go. It's tricky. It's crazy. Stupid. You'd free them?
Starting point is 01:45:08 Yeah. Huh? Yes. Why? Because she thinks he's... Canada, don't y'all get healthcare? Don't y'all? Got y'all?
Starting point is 01:45:20 What the... I haven't lived in Canada for almost 25 years. But why free? So I'm not a taxpaying citizen, so therefore I do not get the universal healthcare that the citizens of Canada get. And even the people that's on the side of that, because he killed the CEO of the, what company was it? United Healthcare.
Starting point is 01:45:37 Okay, guess what they did? They were denied. No, no, guess what they did? Put a new CEO in. They sure did? Same outcome. Guess what? Nothing changed. You're right. They were denied. No, no, no, that's what they did. Put a new CEO in. They sure did? Same outcome. Guess what?
Starting point is 01:45:45 Nothing changed. You're right. So what? Is this like when y'all wanted fucking Jody Meeks free? Yeah. Who's Jody Meeks? Yes. The fucking model light skinned dude
Starting point is 01:45:54 that was in traffic. With the light eyes. I wasn't invested in that shit. I didn't give a fuck. He wasn't white. Yeah. I'm sorry, I'm sorry. It seems to be a trend. My bad, that's my bad.
Starting point is 01:46:03 I'm ignoring it. That's my bad. I'm ignoring it. What else? What else is important, unimportant? What were you talking about? Some good news for all of y'all if you're thinking about sending your kids to Harvard. It's now free. Well y'all make too much money, but it's free
Starting point is 01:46:16 for anybody who makes under $200,000. Any families that make under $200,000 a year, your children now have free tuition at Harvard. What's the catch? Wait,000 a year, your children now have free tuition at Harvard. What's the catch? Wait, hold on. Is it children or students?
Starting point is 01:46:29 Students of any age? So what if I make less than $200,000 a year? Can I go to Harvard for free? If you can get in. Oh shit. Shade. Shade. A little bit.
Starting point is 01:46:40 A little bit. Wow. The shade. Wow. Not to you, Mel. I'm saying, somebody asked what's the catch. No, no, not to you, Mel. I'm saying, somebody asked what's the catch. That's the catch. Yeah, that's the catch.
Starting point is 01:46:48 It's not like more people can get it. They ain't accepting you niggas. Right, most people who get into Harvard already make more than $200,000. There's a class component to it. So it doesn't really make Harvard that much more accessible. A lot of them folks legacy.
Starting point is 01:46:59 Yeah, like rich people get into Harvard more than poor people. Poor people rarely get into Harvard. So it's not like they lowered the bar. And it's interesting because the right-wingers on the internet last night and all on TV were talking about this is awful, this is more DEI, and this is letting unworthy people. It doesn't change the standards of Harvard.
Starting point is 01:47:17 If you can get into Harvard, you can go. It just means poor people don't have to pay, which I think is a great thing. I think it's great too. I'd just like to see the numbers. I just think we need to not do it at Harvard, because who gives a fuck? I mean, do it at the state college. Do it at the local college.
Starting point is 01:47:29 Do it at a place where people are actually getting in. Don't do it at a place, Harvard only lets in 3% of all applicants. So who cares? There might be 10 poor people who get a free ride now. That's all. If that. If that. This is just a headline to sound good.
Starting point is 01:47:44 Right. That's it, yeah. Yeah, it sounds good to look at. That's it, that's it. Yeah. It that. If that. This is just a headline to sound good. Right. That's it, yeah. It sounds good to look at. That's it, that's it. Yeah. It's a good pop. But it don't do shit for y'all. And nobody who was going to Harvard,
Starting point is 01:47:51 who wasn't going to Harvard is now going to Harvard. And then they say if the family is under 100K, you get free room and board. How many, what percent is that gonna apply to? Again, almost nobody. And again, to your point, if you make 125 and you get in free but you gotta pay room and board, room and board is a lot of fucking money.
Starting point is 01:48:12 It is. So you still gotta come up cash out of pocket. So it's tough. So anyways, it's an interesting announcement but I want y'all to just look underneath the headline and realize it doesn't mean much. We should be fighting for free public education for everybody.
Starting point is 01:48:26 Agreed. You know they ain't doing that. Right. Education is still a barrier, trying to keep folks out. We getting too serious, I can feel you. Yeah, yeah, yeah, let's get a bottle there. You feel what? I'm learning when to pivot.
Starting point is 01:48:42 Don't look at, yo, we gotta learn how to pivot without looking at me like this. Smooth. That was our first time, I wanted to shut up, but that was my first time in 44 years hearing some Harvard news. I felt dumb as hell. All right. That is fucked up.
Starting point is 01:49:03 Oh shit. Oh great, I don't know. Yeah, I know like, all right. That is fucked up. Oh shit. Well, great. I don't know. Fuck it. Holy shit, Harvard. Well, in other news, Dreamville announced their final lineup. They did.
Starting point is 01:49:20 It's April, I want to say, 5th and 6th in North Carolina. And let me get the line up up real quick for you guys. I got you, it's Wayne, Hot Boys and the Big Timers, Juvenile Turk, BG, Manny Fresh and Birdman, 21 Savage, Partying Next Door, Ludacris, Ari Lennox, Chief Keef, Keisha Cole, Boss, Young Nudie, Ab Sol, Lou Omen, Kai Cash, Nico Brim, J Cole, I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:49:45 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:49:53 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:50:01 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm shit. Once they got good again, I assumed that was night two. J. Cole. Once he said J. Cole, J. Cole, Erykah Badu, Tim's, Gorilla, on down, that's night two. OK. That's what I want to see.
Starting point is 01:50:12 Night one sounds amazing. I'm old. I want night two. I mean, the big time is I want to see all that too, but I just feel like I've seen them do their reunion thing now. Yeah, that's part of it. By laying baby, leaving that nigga on stage.
Starting point is 01:50:22 Yeah, we've seen that. Why they doing that nigga like that? Leaving that nigga on stage. Yeah, we been seeing that. Why they doing that nigga like that? I don't know, yo. They leaving that nigga on stage. He in the middle of a speech, he just walking out. Why the fuck they keep doing him like that, bro? What the fuck is he on? What's up?
Starting point is 01:50:33 Put me on, son. I don't know. Call Mac Mano on them niggas. Why the fuck they keep leaving Baby on stage? Mid-speech, yo, I love you. Them niggas smoke. For real. In unison.
Starting point is 01:50:42 Like, I'm seeing these clips. I'm like, yo, how old do you gotta be before somebody pulls your side? Like yo, enough of this tour life. It ain't good no more. Like remember the white dude that keep doing Vegas that they kept sending out there? What's his name, Frankie something? No.
Starting point is 01:50:57 Not Tom. No, you know the guy. But he shouldn't be out there no more. Oh, what's his name? Not Bob Hope. No, I know. Tom Jones. No, it wasn't Tom Jones.
Starting point is 01:51:07 It was Frank something. Frankie Valley. Yeah, you were Frankie Valley. Frankie Valley, yeah. Go to our president white expert. So why they? We keep seeing clips of Birdman doing this shit. It's like, at some point, you got to remember
Starting point is 01:51:22 how old people are. It's like, get them out of there. But he's not that old. How old is Birdman? He's not that yo, at some point, you got to remember how old people are. It's like, get them out of here. But he's not that old. How old is Birdman? He's not that old, nigga. Gotta be something else, Joe. He's not old. Why he's touring or why they walking off on him?
Starting point is 01:51:34 Both. I think it's business that we got to do this show together, but we don't really fuck with you like that. Yeah. I'm doing my contractual part here. This is, yo, niggas need bread. Everybody ain't doing good, though. He walked off in unison, nigga. They might not really fuck with him, man. That's like Joe. He can't leave me over here while I'm doing my contractual part here. This is, yo, niggas need bread. Everybody ain't doing good. They walked off a unison, nigga.
Starting point is 01:51:45 They might not really fuck with him. That's like Joe Gann leading me over here while I'm talking. And not just that. If our business, look, look, look, look, look, look. If our business was right, I might not have to do this tour. Like, Burman robbed them niggas for years, according to them.
Starting point is 01:52:01 So if our business was right, I wouldn't even be happy to be out here. Do we really, let me say this. Do we really look at it as robbery, nigga? He put the investment out there, he did a lot, right? He presented them to the world. Correct. He marketed the promotion, I mean, Birdman, I don't really know the story,
Starting point is 01:52:20 I'm not a hip hop head like you, but from what I've seen, when Hot Boys was out, video shoots and all that stuff, you heard about Birdman putting that shit together. So does he not deserve the kickback ROI and investment plus more for all the investment that he had to put for six or seven motherfuckers? Juvenile, Manny Fresh, Lil Wayne, all the niggas.
Starting point is 01:52:42 Yeah, yeah, yeah, yes, yes, I'm agreeing with you. Now, what happens is, and this is most hip hop, that's that initial deal. I'm putting you on. Yes. Now it might come time where, all right, I've become a bigger star than we might have imagined. I may want to restructure this deal now.
Starting point is 01:53:01 Or I may want, I want to make more money now. Yes. Yes. No. And that's where the beef's coming with a lot of times. I want to own my shit now. Oh, okay, yo, Wayne was going to leave and go to Rockefeller with Hov. Allegedly.
Starting point is 01:53:18 Okay, allegedly. They told him, yo, we'll stay here, we'll give you your own label. Gave him young money. What he didn't know, they gave him 49% of young money. Jesus. So you think you got your own label, but you don't because I got 51% of what we gave you.
Starting point is 01:53:37 As you find out these things, you start to think the person that I looked up to that was my friend, that was my mentor, that I caught my father, really did not have my best interest in mind. But, and now beef sticks. But do you mean, does that mean I don't have your best interest in mind,
Starting point is 01:53:52 or that I have to make my money back that I spent? It might, it's hard. That's me. Just using Lil Wayne alone, I think it's safe to assume. You recouped. He recouped. Handsomely. And then, but then, but then how about this, you hear plenty of times
Starting point is 01:54:08 where somebody helps somebody become popular. And that's right. Hold on, wait. And put all the leg. I said it's safe to assume. You hear a lot of stories where somebody helps somebody get popular, put all the leg work in, and when they become famous, they leave them in the dust.
Starting point is 01:54:19 They dip off, absolutely. So sometimes you gotta protect yourself. Now I don't know the details of it, but a lot of niggas gotta protect themselves. Agreed. You do gotta, you have to protect yourself. Now I don't know the details of it, but a lot of niggas got to protect themselves. Agreed. You do got to, you have to protect yourself. Web told Joe the best. But I think both parts got to protect themselves.
Starting point is 01:54:30 That's where the problem comes. Both sides are trying to protect themselves. And then you start to realize, oh shit, well we kind of married at this point. I really can't get XYZ without you. And here we go with them on tour together. I don't want to talk about them, because I don't know. Their details, yeah, together. I Don't want to talk about them because I don't know
Starting point is 01:54:47 What I can say Is it could look like somebody is successful enough to recoup and only 2% of earnings be going toward a recoupment. You never know when somebody is recouped or not according to the paperwork That's true. And it's a shit a lot of contracts designed so you can't recoupment, you never know when somebody is recouped or not, according to the paperwork. That's true. And shit, a lot of contracts are designed so you can't recoup. Then there's that. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:55:14 So that's why they leaving them on stage. Fuck you, we'll fuck with you. This is all speculation. While we're here, fucking. But I could understand that, is what I'm saying. Got it. This is just business. Iggy Azalea tweeted on this news,
Starting point is 01:55:28 not this news, but related news. Universal Music, Mark my words, you ugly bitch, you will pay me what is owed. This has been going on between myself and them privately for over two years and counting, by the way. She continues, crazy how in my entire career I was never paid a single royalty by Universal Music for anything outside of the USA. They owe me millions of dollars in back pay that they technically stole from me.
Starting point is 01:55:57 As per my contract, I am due payment. The amount owed is in the eight figure range. Last week they tried to respond to my lawyer and offer me a settlement of 18k. I'm told this is a normal response from their lawyers and after appearing in court they end up paying millions as they're supposed to. Thankfully I'm well off and I can and will pursue this issue until they pay me what they owe. But I'd like to publicly say that I think Universal Music are criminals who actively take advantage of all of their artists in perpetuity for their own gang. They are the scummiest company and they do this to so many artists who unfortunately can't afford to fight for what they're owed.
Starting point is 01:56:41 Thus they get away with this behavior. Universal Music really needs to do better in their treatment of the artists who quite literally earned the millions via intellectual property. They had zero part in creating yuck. That was her yuck, not mine. I get it.
Starting point is 01:57:01 A lot of that sounds like buyer's remorse. On her part? Yes. Meaning she signed the contract, didn't read it through, and this is the outcome. A lot of times I didn't really know I was signing this. I thought it was that. Oh shit, I signed this. And now I want to rectify it.
Starting point is 01:57:23 Hey, she's doing it the right way because she got lawyers involved and stuff. She said this is normal, we'll they'll low ball offer you for a settlement. And I'm not even mad at that. Not taking the company side, but I'm never mad at the attempt. I am.
Starting point is 01:57:40 I'm never mad at the attempt. It's unethical. I mean, here's my thing. If you and I sign a deal and it's a bad deal, you just gotta hold that L, right? But what I'm hearing her say and other artists say is sometimes they're dishonest, even in this context of the deal we signed.
Starting point is 01:57:55 Like they actually don't do what they say they're gonna do. And it's only when we do forensic accounting, it's only when we dig deeper that we realize they didn't give us the money. But the problem is the artists are so broke, they can't afford to fight for the thing they actually deserve. I'm with you. If you signed a bad deal, you don't like the deal. You would? Yeah. Yeah. But what I hear a lot of artists say is that these labels are stealing their money
Starting point is 01:58:14 and they know we don't have enough money to prove it. That's the part I think is fucked up. And I'm with you. That part is fucked up. I'm just talking about people signing bad deals and then regretting the deal later on. Or had I known this, I would have never signed that. Well, that's on you. But doesn't almost every single artist say that? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:58:34 It's a predatory industry. Exactly. And that's the problem. I remember when- I'm sorry, I got that in there. I made this example to make it where a regular person might understand who don't sign record label contracts,
Starting point is 01:58:45 we made the jokes before about the used car lot. All right, you going on the used car lot. And them selling you a lemon. Nah, not a lemon. Oh, okay. Yo, you want this car? Cool. We'll put you in this car, give us five grand down. Your interest rate is 27%.
Starting point is 01:59:01 You don't even know what that means. Yeah, I understand. You just so glad, all right, cool, I got the car. I can afford to pay. Then you realize you go home and look at it, wait, the car's worth how much? And if I pay this off, I've bought this car three times over. Oh, they fucked me.
Starting point is 01:59:15 No, they didn't fuck you. You don't know what you were signing. And now you're on the home. That can be true though, right? I mean, like you made a bad choice for somebody. It's still predatory. You got in the bed though. That's all I'm saying. It's a predatory system that they go to people
Starting point is 01:59:27 who don't have many choices. Pray on your desperation. And they pray on your desperation and lack of knowledge. I remember, I wasn't here, but I remember watching when Jadakiss was here with his father and J-Juan, and they were talking about this. The first deal they got offered was trash. And the only thing that stopped him from doing it.
Starting point is 01:59:42 Was the parents getting lawyers. Was the parents saying, don't do this. Interestingly enough, he ended up with a bad boy deal that ended up being trash. Even after that. But you heard what he told them. Soon as y'all got 18, you went and signed your own deal without us looking at it.
Starting point is 01:59:55 Right. And it turned out to be a bad deal. The problem is for me, some people don't have that knowledge and just make their own choice. A lot of people take that first deal not knowing any better. And that's what I have issue. If everybody ended up in that second deal that's on you. But see now today I'm only speaking today I think if you end up in that first deal today that's kind of on you with all the information and stories
Starting point is 02:00:16 we got now you should be skeptical of any deal that comes across your desk. You should have it looked at by... It's the money man. It's needing money. It's needed and they hit you with the yo I got a bag of money right here in a diamond chain You should have it looked at by... It's the money, man. It's needing money. Of course. It's needing the instant education. And they hit you with the, yo, I got a bag of money right here and a diamond chain for you, but you got to sign right now. This offer expires when I walk out the door. Niggas are going to sign. Yeah, I mean, that's capitalism.
Starting point is 02:00:34 So I guess that's what I'm saying. I hate that people are making bad choices, but I do got smoke for the companies too, because they could not do that. And they can still make a lot of money without fucking everybody over. Then how would they benefit? How would they grow? How would they be able to get other... If Universal made half the money it made, it would still be Universal. The money needs to go in the circle to me. It needs to go in the circle so you can invest in more artists and do whatever you can do and the game is there to be taken advantage of.
Starting point is 02:01:02 People are there to be taken advantage of, whether we like it or not. So basically ethics don't have any, play any role in business whatsoever. No, no. I don't think so. And the business that had ethics, a lot of them went down under. I don't think so, yo.
Starting point is 02:01:16 Some of the pop shops, some of the people that started that had ethics, when they wanted to pay, when we watch a lot of businesses go down under for having ethics, it sounds fucked up, but that's the truth. Whether society is built like that or not, that's what happens.
Starting point is 02:01:28 But there's a huge gap between exploiting the shit out of everybody and making deals so generous that your company can't sustain itself. There's a middle ground. I agree. Even just slightly fucked up. But once you set the bar of making deals that are, as you said, generous to everybody, you fucked the entire industry up doing that.
Starting point is 02:01:51 They're not trying to do it because now a new bar is set. Yeah, that's a good thing. Niggas ain't trying to change the... Yo, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. Cool, you know what I'm saying. It is broke. It's broke. Broke to who? Let me ask you a question, Mark.
Starting point is 02:02:04 Let's remove every artist that's... I'm talking about as the business, as the company. Cool, you smart enough to not sign this deal. Salute to you. I'ma go give it to him. But it's also not about being smart. It's just I'll say, if, just as Joe was an example, if Joe came in here and paid all of us exactly half of what he pays,
Starting point is 02:02:17 whatever that number is, right? A lot of us- A lot of us would, that would be fucked up, but a lot of us might be in a position where we can't leave. True. And he can just say that's business. Let me ask you a question. And it wouldn't be that we're not smart enough to know that,
Starting point is 02:02:31 it's just we wouldn't have a choice. Let's remove that part. Let's talk about generosity. We watch a lot of people be generous in life and go down under, niggas. So let's, artist, MC Hammer, niggas. Generosity, put them down under. Mike Tyson, generosity, put him down under.
Starting point is 02:02:45 Where's the middle ground? Yeah, but- Sometimes you have to do things to, sometimes you have to take advantage in order to succeed. But here's what I'm disagreeing- It's fucked up to say, but it's true. Well, genera-
Starting point is 02:02:54 Just let me finish this response. Am I saying something wrong? Put me in my place, please. No, it's not putting you in your place, I'm just saying. MC Hammer, given buying 30 cars and a whole lot of dances, right? That's generosity. A company not exploiting you is not,
Starting point is 02:03:07 Universal is not being generous by paying people what they owe or by not extracting all the labor from somebody and giving them just the slightest amount to keep them on board. That's not generosity. And I think part of our system is fucked up is we act like they're doing us a favor
Starting point is 02:03:20 by paying us what's ours. The system is fucked up. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. I don't want to compare that to generosity. I don't want to compare Universal to the rapper who just came out of the projects is buying pay and what's ours. The system is fucked up. Yeah, but that's what I'm saying. I don't want to compare that to generosity. I don't want to compare Universal to the rapper who just came out of the projects just buying all his homies changed. Like that ain't the same shit.
Starting point is 02:03:30 You know what I'm saying? Like they owe us. They owe us. I'm saying us, like corporations owe everyday people. They do. Yeah. So to me that's the difference. I think they owe whatever you agree on in your contract.
Starting point is 02:03:41 Yeah. All right. And if you agree on some bad terms, then you got some bad terms. Yeah. I agree. I agree with that part. And, I mean, y'all segued kind of quick,
Starting point is 02:03:53 but to only make concern, if you'll keep the job with half the pay, then just before you leave, write your name and all. I see. I see. Box. Just write down a little box over there. A little box over there.
Starting point is 02:04:08 If on half the pay you'll still come to work out of need and necessity. Then all you gotta do is grab a pen and paper and write it. Just write it over there. You can get that done ASAP. Oh man. Anyway. Oh man. Man. Anyway. Yo, what are you telling me about Kanye? Let me hear it. Nah, I was just, I have Kanye's block.
Starting point is 02:04:32 So I don't really be seeing, I don't see shit. But people keep. This is mine and yours now. That's yours. People keep tagging me and toss. And he's on the tweet rant again. Going off about a whole bunch of shit. And one of the things that stood out,
Starting point is 02:04:45 he said, fuck Jim Jones. And I'm like, wait, what? Ugh, I don't like that. And they were just on tour together? No, I was there. They were hanging out. Oh, they were hanging out, okay. Check it. Yeah, but Jim
Starting point is 02:04:54 went out there to Japan, hung out, bigged them up on that shit. Gave the jeans and the belt. Yeah, Kanye tweeting the diplomat piece and all of that. And then this. What you want, man? It don't take much. You do that all of that. And then this. What you want, man? It don't take much. You do that all the time.
Starting point is 02:05:09 Probably part of the plan, man, to bring visibility, I don't know. What's the plan? To bring visibility where? To Jim's album. Oh. There's better ways to do that. Rather than saying.
Starting point is 02:05:21 Jim Jones has a good album. I want to listen to it. I like it. Great album. That's my favorite shit I'm listening to right now. Is anybody gonna Jim Jones. Jim Jones has a good album. I want to do it. I like it. Great album. That's my favorite shit I'm listening to right now. Is anybody going to take what he's saying serious based on his rants? But if this is going to make you go, if this is going to make you say, hey, Kanye said, fuck Jim Jones, let me go listen to his album now.
Starting point is 02:05:35 Let me go. I don't think that would do that. Yeah, nah, it don't. But that's what he's been doing the whole time. He, uh. That don't sound like he spoke to somebody. Cam? I'm not putting Cam name in nothing That don't sound like he spoke to somebody. Cam? I'm not putting Cam name in nothing.
Starting point is 02:05:47 But it sound like he spoke to somebody. I think he's not. I mean it could be. I think that's true and I think he's not well. And he just does shit. I remember he was on Drink Champs calling Diddy a fed and fuck Diddy and tweeting crazy shit about Diddy. And then just last night he's on Instagram
Starting point is 02:06:03 telling him that he's like a father to him Yeah, that's some more of his tweets was about that so he's up here Basically defending the Cassie video The uh, yeah, what's this right now? Yes, what's he saying in defense? Okay, all right. Nevermind. Yeah. All right. Fine. Fine. Fine. Fine. He's victim blaming. Let's put it that way Thank you for summing it up. It's it's wild and then you know, he did he called him last night Order the last day or two and then he shay room had exclusive on it and they played the whole audio call and It's weird. First of all, I think Puff called Ye
Starting point is 02:06:45 because he wanted to talk to Ye. I don't think Puff knew that Ye was gonna be putting it on the internet. Like I can't imagine calling somebody from prison, being this private, not doing no interviews, and suddenly wanting my whole conversation in public. But wait, what kind of phone was he talking to him on? It was a legal one.
Starting point is 02:07:03 The one where they say this call is being recorded. Yeah, but that don't mean that this person that you're talking to is recording it. That means that the- It means that anything can happen. It means that anything can happen. But the prison recording it don't mean we're gonna give it to the shade room either.
Starting point is 02:07:17 That's just saying if you say some shit on this call- How do we hear any kind of calls? The calls on fucking Dateline, the calls on whatever blog, we hear them kind of calls? The calls on fucking Dateline, the calls on whatever blog. Like we hear them because they're recorded. So him thinking that this isn't gonna go anywhere, him diddy talking to Kanye seems a little preposterous to me.
Starting point is 02:07:36 I think anybody that talks or texts Kanye should expect it to go out. Yeah, at this point. That's who. That's just anything. I was making that joke with my girl yesterday. I'm like, Kanye is the dude that if he texts you, you don't even respond to it. You got to voice note him. Like, you might not even want to do that. Like you just, nah, I'm cool. Nah,
Starting point is 02:07:56 I wouldn't say nothing to him. And Puff didn't say nothing to him. Crazy. But he was just talking to him, clearly in what seemed like a private moment. And he was trying to give Ye this pep talk. He was like, you know, the system is wicked, wicked, wicked. That's the only thing he said about himself. Kind of like, as if the wicked system is why he's in jail. As if he had did nothing wrong, and it's just a wicked system.
Starting point is 02:08:15 But then on top of that, he was trying to give Ye this pep talk. Like, you gotta get back on stage, we need you rocking mics again, we need you cutting samples again, we need, I need the old Ye back. And Ye was just like, yes sir. Like, he was very like deferential and like mature in the conversation. And Ye was just like, yes, sir. He was very deferential and mature in the conversation.
Starting point is 02:08:28 And then he was like, you've been like a father to me. Even before I met you, you raised me. And it was like a love fest with Puff. And then on Twitter, he's doing the opposite. He's tearing down Kim. He's tearing down Jim Jones. He's tearing down all these people. It seems like he's on another rant, like Flip said.
Starting point is 02:08:42 And I don't know if it's because the album is out, if it's a mental health thing, if it's all the above, I don't know, but I ain't gonna lie, sometimes it gets addictive, I can't stop watching. Nah, it's not the opposite, I don't wanna watch it. Yeah, complete opposite. I said that the last time, I was like, all right, enough. Block mute, I don't wanna see your shit no more.
Starting point is 02:08:59 He just ain't fuck everybody. Yeah. Except for Joe. He always pick up Joe. Joe Budden, he love you. I'm about to look into you a little bit, a little more. Joe was the only nigga he don't say fuck. Jim was just with him, but he gonna big up Joe in some way.
Starting point is 02:09:17 He fucking that church, bigging up Joe. He somewhere else, bigging up Joe. Well, Joe Budden say, everywhere he, what's going on, Joe? Put me on to you and Kanye's relationship. I don't know what to say. Why he never shoot at you? You say a lot of preposterous shit up here that deserves it, that can get you shot at.
Starting point is 02:09:36 And be clear, for me, Joe Budden, God's Not Finished is an insult. It's not an insult. That's a little bit of an insult. It's not an insult. It's not an insult. It's a little bit of an insult. Knock it off. It could be taken a couple of different ways. That's a fucking insult. What?
Starting point is 02:09:52 You don't just say nobody's whole name, sing in it, and then say God is not finished with you. Are you crazy? Joe, stop. That is an insult. I see no bigger heights for you. Exactly. See if you got A's for somebody is an insult. What. Yeah. See if God ain't done. If somebody is insulting, it gets stopped.
Starting point is 02:10:05 What? Oh no. You're a little rougher on the edges. Yeah, it's mad positive. No, it's just like God ain't done. Do you feel like he trying to like, do you say anything when he's a billionaire? Yeah, two weeks ago.
Starting point is 02:10:16 Oh, God, he finished in Japan. He was in Japan, he was singing. He was just singing at his show. He said, Joe Biden, God's not finished. And then niggas started texting me with that. I'm like, nigga, God is done with me. He's trying to, no he's not.
Starting point is 02:10:33 No he's not. No he's not. You still got other places you were trying to get. Word. God's not finished with you, God don't play about you. I'm gonna get down to the bottom of you and Kanye shit. There's nothing to get to the bottom of. Let me call the shotter and find out
Starting point is 02:10:42 if I go through your phone, nigga. Nothing is happening with me and calling you. Joe, that nigga is- I can assure you. So diss him now so he can shoot at you. Say something so he can shoot at you. He don't shoot at you. You play, you said mad shit. The last time he shouted you out recently, a couple of parts before that, we was talking about
Starting point is 02:10:58 how the shit that he's doing is ridiculous. And what does he go on as part of this? Every year I come over here and say, I'm not talking about him. He said, oh, Joe Bunn is it? Somehow you find a way. Yeah. He find a way. I didn't even have him written on my list with all this shit y'all talking about.
Starting point is 02:11:11 I had him with him going back and forth with Kim over trademarking North. That's what I was about to talk about. I thought that was kind of interesting. I thought it was super interesting. I wonder where y'all stood on that. On what? If y'all saw the text exchange, without pulling it up, just off the dome. Got it.
Starting point is 02:11:31 I guess there was a puff song that had North vocals that Kim stopped. Kim said, uh-uh, not the look I want, we dead in that. So her and Kanye had a text exchange about who has the right to do that and who owns Norf's trademark Which Kim let him know or Kanye found out once that block happened that oh shit It's Kim and she can do that so he came in hot and he was like yo a men this
Starting point is 02:11:59 Men this or I'm gonna turn it up on both of us. No one will be able to recover If you just read how Kanye texts people I can't see you it up on both us. No one will be able to recover. If you just read how Kanye text people, I can't see you wanting to text with him. That's what I'm saying. I feel like the world was in a better place when Kanye didn't have a phone. Yeah, it was a long time to worry. He was like, yeah, proponent of just the laptop. Would you say our freezes more to that is more because on playboy Carti's
Starting point is 02:12:24 album, she's on the album and Kanye was supposed to have been on there and he was taken off. So now he's tight. That's kind of funny. No, this is funny now. That's funny. That's funny. That's what all this spurs from to me. Y'all don't feel that he should have amended?
Starting point is 02:12:43 Y'all don't feel that he should have written? Hell'all don't feel that he should have? Hell no. Why, because of how he's acting on the internet? He's erratic. Yeah. If you're fighting to get your kid on Diddy's album, I feel like that's a sign right there that you're not capable of making good choices. Oh, come on, man, stop it.
Starting point is 02:12:57 Would you put your kid on Diddy's album? Yes, if, which, yeah. The loved one that before, yes. No, we're talking about now. Diddy, I don't, I'm not aware of an album that Diddy has right now. But if he did have an album, my child. I ain't letting y'all do that to the flu.
Starting point is 02:13:12 You said you worked with Kevin Spacey. Yeah, he don't have an album. Exactly, he don't, exactly. It's the Love Album. I would have J.R., one of my children, on that album, yes. The Love Album, that came out, yes. All right, let me ask you, because that album came out
Starting point is 02:13:24 before all the other shit started. Yeah, that's true. So if he had an album coming out next month, would you allow your child on that album? Mmm, I don't know. And is it, the title is crazy at the album. No, it depends. The title is for love.
Starting point is 02:13:38 No, it's not. The title is something like, let me tell you what she did though. No, you know it's gonna stop. No. The title's something like, let me tell you what she did though. No, it's not stopping. The title is something like, hey, she wasn't in it. They sped up the film. No, I wouldn't do that. They sped up the film.
Starting point is 02:13:56 If it was an album of pure art, man, I mean, to be honest, I mean, we saw the video, but like what May said recently, that if he was on the list, he'll go visit Diddy, right? A lot of this stuff is alleged, it still should be, regardless of if it's guilty before innocent, it still should be innocent before guilty. So right now, if he was coming out with an album
Starting point is 02:14:15 that he had a record on and one of my children were on it, I would approve the sample. I would approve the record. But the point is, I think she has a right to say, as a parent, I don't think that's a good look. I do think so as well. You know what I'm saying, her and Ye go back, and then Ye also was making it like a race thing too,
Starting point is 02:14:28 like now white women is controlling. I'm gonna read a couple other tweets on that. Cause the first one is, I held my tongue about not being on Cardi album. Him going to my ex to ask my daughter to be on a song two days later was too far. Nobody finna play with me. Who's him?
Starting point is 02:14:43 To my Cardi. Cardi. Cardi. Because Cardi had to hit Kim to get the daughter on the album. That's funny though. And then he says, so Kim got the name and likeness over my black children. So a white woman has control over the name and likeness of my black children and then speaks to Cardi about putting my daughter on a song with him. These dumbass celebrities be trying to play with me in my face. Isn't this?
Starting point is 02:15:11 First, he need to knock off that white woman shit. First of all, when he was with her. Yeah, he married her. Right. First of all, she wasn't white when he was fucking her, right? Right. No, he wasn't claiming her as white. No, he wasn't. The claim wasn't this. You know how black people be like, she's Italian, she's Armenian.
Starting point is 02:15:24 They find all kinds of shit to say she ain't white. Now, if I say he ain't fucking with her, she white white. No, he wasn't there. His claim wasn't this. You know how black people be like, she's Italian, she's Armenian, they fight all kinds of shit to say she ain't white. Now if I say, you ain't fucking with her, she white again. Yes, nigga. But also, you made a choice. If you choose to have a child with a white woman, then yes, a white woman is gonna control what your children do.
Starting point is 02:15:36 That's the choice you made. For, yeah. Let it, you got it, you got it, you got it. That's why the foundational blanks say you're not supposed to. The FBA? That's why they foundational blanks FBA Please what I will say I don't even talk about Kanye
Starting point is 02:16:01 Hey, don't talk about me if any one of my baby mamas wake up and start rocking a swastika shirt, I'm not giving them rights to anything. Simple. Boom, yeah. I agree. That's it. I agree.
Starting point is 02:16:15 Not a trademark, not a copyright, not a child support. I'm going to get custody. I was just going to say, whatever rights you do got, we can already go talk about that. That's different. You can take away rights. You better put them rights in the little mason jar. Mail it on over. got, we're getting ready to go talk about that. That's different. You can take it away, but. Put them rights in the little mason jar. Mail it on over.
Starting point is 02:16:27 Mail it on over. I agree with you on that. Swastika. Because even though, regardless of your views on things, you're not thinking about your kid having to go to school and just be outside and walk around. He's standing in the middle of the street with a swastika and having people record him. He's just doing bullshit.
Starting point is 02:16:47 He's doing bullshit. He's doing bullshit. He's doing a lot of bullshit. He's been doing bullshit for a while. He's doing bullshit. And not caring how it affects anybody else. God's not finished with it. Or you.
Starting point is 02:16:57 No, for real. God's not done with you. God's not done with you either. I think he is. No, I'm saying that. This is it, y'all. No, I'm saying that. It's because you were in your mood.
Starting point is 02:17:04 God's not done with you. You don't go fuck about that mood, nigga., y'all. No, man. It's because you with your moon, man. We don't going to fuck about that moon, nigga. You got to take care of us, nigga. Fuck that moon, nigga. Wait. Fuck it. This ain't made, nigga. We not made. This perfectly lines up to one of my depressing topics
Starting point is 02:17:18 I had for y'all. This lines up perfectly. But I didn't do it because I didn't want y'all This says with a chuckle. This lies up perfectly. There you go. This lies up perfectly. But I didn't do it, because I didn't want y'all to judge me for being depressed. Let's hear it. Pissing her off, man. She's doing the eye roll. Go ahead.
Starting point is 02:17:32 Wait, I didn't say nothing to Mel. Go ahead. Which one of us? Was it me, Mel? I didn't even say nothing to Mel just now. You didn't, you didn't. Go ahead. Was it me, Mel?
Starting point is 02:17:38 Go ahead. I missed this one. Yeah, that was y'all. Man, what did I say? You always try to put it on me, man. I didn't even know Mel was mad just now. I moved your chain. I don't know, tell me. It was you. Do that was magic. I moved to change. I don't know.
Starting point is 02:17:45 Tell me. It was you. Do you guys just really, really, it's tasteless as fuck. Stop talking about that shit. It is not a light matter. Don't do it. What? Step the fuck away from it.
Starting point is 02:17:55 What are you talking about? The made shit. Don't mention it. Don't talk about it. If you cannot be respectful about it, leave it alone. I'm lost, carry on. I didn't hear a question. Mel, that wasn't to you, that was more to Joe. Mel, to bother him and say that we weren't helping him
Starting point is 02:18:14 do anything, it was a joke to him because he came in here saying that he was depressed earlier. It was supposed to be between him and I, but I apologize to you if that offended you. Thank you. I will not crack that joke again. Thank you. Joe?
Starting point is 02:18:26 Depressives. All right, bro. Well, cool, but chill for a minute. I love when someone else's trigger defends me. That's right. Ha ha, nigga. Yo, hold on. Just try to roll her eyes.
Starting point is 02:18:38 Come on. Hey, you promised you wouldn't do that, man. You wasn't telling me. Give me the love. OK, OK, yeah, you're right. But when it comes to something like that, I apologize. You understand strong. Yeah, I'm sorry. That wasn't even thinking.
Starting point is 02:18:53 I don't remember now. Hello. What was I talking about? You're talking about Kanye, Swastika. Yes, I don't know. There's a lot of different things we can find depressing in here. You pivoted this story. You're about to tell us something about my depression question was has life killed hope
Starting point is 02:19:16 for any of you and if not, then what are the things that you still have hope for who and that heavy well, yeah, I told you it was one of my depressing then what are the things that you still have hope for? Whoo, that's heavy. Well, yeah, I told you it was one of my depressing topics that I had. Nigga, what's up with you today, nigga? But then I was like, but wait, because while it started off rooted in depression, the more I thought about it, I was like, well, that's one of the great things about
Starting point is 02:19:39 having youth on your side and being young is that you have hope for so many things. You're still optimistic. Life hasn't fucking kicked you in the face enough. And as you get older, right? Like I'm in the shower today at 44, like, you know, doing math, like, well, another 20 to 30 years would be awesome. And that makes things kind of finite, right?
Starting point is 02:20:02 Like there's some things we can lose hope for. Yeah, but that's where, y'all gonna say it, but that's where family and kids come in, bro. Your hope now transfers into that. Okay, I know that that's the cool, that's the truth. Listen to me.
Starting point is 02:20:20 I know that that's true for some and a cool cliche thing to say and do. I too feel like that when I look at my kids and then I remember that no, we're gonna die and they're gonna keep going and they're gonna come to the funeral with the shades and shed some thug tears and then they're gonna keep it pushing on their
Starting point is 02:20:45 own journey. So even that dampens my... Oh you just want to be in a sad place then? Well I'm just saying you can feel good looking at your kid but you can be dead and whenever you're dead and then that's it. So that can get depressing too. You're gonna die no matter what. Answer my hope question super dad. I just told you yes I still have hope. Now the hope question, Super Dad. I just told you, yes, I still have hope. Now the hope transfers into my hope. But hope for what? So that I can bring her up to be a proper functioning adult in fucking society.
Starting point is 02:21:14 I can give her the things that I didn't have coming up. It's almost like I'm giving her a life that I just couldn't have. Like access to schools, access to these things, I get a kick out of that. That's my joy. Is my hope. Do you have hope for anything outside of?
Starting point is 02:21:34 Your daughter. Your kids or your family related stuff? My personal hope? Yeah. Any hope, just hope. That is my source of hope. It's hard to have hope in the world at large I will say this fucked up out there. So I
Starting point is 02:21:47 Look into them. I agree why I feel like it sounds like it sounds like a weird question So I really get to trying to answer it You don't have hope I hope fuck that I hope to see my children, you know Fuck that. I hope to see my children, you know. Yeah, you niggas are hopeless. No, it's not. No, it's not, my nigga. It's not hopeless, nigga.
Starting point is 02:22:07 Stop doing that, bro. Yeah, you gotta stop that, bro. Because you just don't share your feelings like that. But stop doing, you have to feel the same way. No, no, no. You do. When you have kids, you can't be selfish. No, I do, but I think that kids shit is a scapegoat
Starting point is 02:22:18 and the world is just much larger. All right, we got that. Put that in our default box. Why is that a scapegoat? What have you had to, what have you? Because put that in the default box. What is that a skit? What if you had to, what if you, what if you. Because put that in the default box. What if your mood changed. And now what else is there.
Starting point is 02:22:29 But let me ask you a question. In the whole universe that you have hope for or that the hope has dwindled for. What if you not having hope affects your family? What if you not having hope and you being grumpy or whatever it is affects your family, affects how they move day to day? Family is important to a lot of us.
Starting point is 02:22:49 Having hope and inspiring and wanting them to know that no matter what happens, I'm going to be here for you and I have hope to see you live and be the best person that you can be in this world. Talk. That was beautiful. I didn't think so. I'm just.
Starting point is 02:23:02 I'm trying to waste the rap. I'm trying some new techniques. I was there like... I'm doing the important thing. He's there to think. Workshopping some things, yeah. Alright, you got it. I wouldn't drain your life. You got it. I get what you're saying. I put hope in it. I mean, I agree with y'all on the kids in the future.
Starting point is 02:23:22 But I also like... I think part of why I was active is a part of why I do the work I do is because I actually believe the world can be better than we found it. Against all evidence to the contrary, because the world looks like it's gonna be fucked up and it's only gonna get worse.
Starting point is 02:23:35 But I've seen struggles get won. I mean, just in the last 10 years, or the last 20 years, you see marriage equality, people thought that would never happen. It could be something as simple as legalizing weed. I remember when people said that could never happen, and now you can buy weed everywhere. The world can be so different in 24 hours
Starting point is 02:23:51 or 12 months or 20, so I always look to the victories and be like, we could change some other shit. We could change so people get housing, we could change so people get healthcare, we could change so people aren't oppressed anymore, people can get their land back. We could do shit if we organize. That's my hope.
Starting point is 02:24:03 I don't always act on the hope. Sometimes I get caught up in the day to day, just wanting to eat or hope my team makes the playoffs or hope that so and so was, you know. I hope that Aaron Rodgers don't come to the Steelers. I got hope. Yeah, that is. I got hope, God damn it.
Starting point is 02:24:14 Yeah, that's a good hope. But like there's other shit we can hope for. So like that's what keeps me energized. That's what keeps me going. Hoping for it and working towards it is two different things, would you say? Hell yeah. Absolutely. Well, see to me, that's the difference
Starting point is 02:24:25 between hope and optimism. If you hope that the world change, but you work towards contributing to the world changing, right? Like out there. So we can give you that, it's a little true, because you try to make a difference. Sometimes, yeah.
Starting point is 02:24:36 You do the work. A lot of us don't have the determination, not saying we don't have the determination, but a lot of us don't have the opportunities to help the world get changed, or we don't have the knowledge that you may have. And the work have the opportunities to help the world get changed, or we don't have the knowledge that you may have. And the work fuels the hope. The more you work, the more you be like,
Starting point is 02:24:49 oh, this shit is winnable. This is a winnable fight. It's a hard fight, but it's a winnable fight. That's why we say hope and not optimism. Optimism is just like, everything's gonna be all right. It'll just work out. Hope is against the odds, and you gotta be engaged in that shit,
Starting point is 02:25:00 and you gotta actually know it's fucked up. The odds are against me, but I can still win. Real quick, the mood that Joe described earlier, I've gotten into that mood. Just looking at shit and like, man, what the fuck is going on? Oh, we didn't necessarily say that you're depressed. Hold on, wait, wait. Oh, sorry, go ahead.
Starting point is 02:25:15 Yeah, I've gotten into that mood, like looking at shit like. Yeah, hanging over that shit today. What, what, what? Yeah. No, no, no, no, no, that's my girl. I look at shit in society, look at, just think about the shit that my children have to go through
Starting point is 02:25:26 and just think about just, a lot of shit that he's saying I could relate to, but my work and my determination snaps me out of that. Like, if I sit in it, it fucks me up. So I could relate to it. How does it set you? Does it distract you from it? It's a distraction. Cause I don't want to, because then same thing with
Starting point is 02:25:41 thinking that, damn, I'm not going to be here one day. That shit still fucks me up. Nigga, what if something happened to one of my kids? Like all this shit, they had to take the train. What if something happened to them? Like, look, you can't even go outside and be free or you can't express yourself without being judged, maimed, or even attacked outside.
Starting point is 02:25:58 Like these things happen. I know how I'm gonna protect myself. I know the lengths I'm gonna go. But when there's other people, when you watch other people, like when you say he watches his brothers and he got emotional, the same thing with my daughter. My daughter, sweet 16, coming up. I started to shed a tear.
Starting point is 02:26:11 I look at all the old pictures in my phone of my children. I start to cry. Same thing with JR, like, yo, pops, I'm not gonna be here. I'm going to go film for, what's my man, people's name from Sugar Hill. I'm gonna go fill stuff with Juelz and I'm gonna film a cooking show. To watch JR go on his own makes me look like damn, like.
Starting point is 02:26:29 I gotta pay somebody for labor now. No, no, no, because I pay him a lot of money. But what I'm saying is that I do understand those sentiments and I share it with Joe. I just have to trick myself and get out of it. I can't sit in it too long. But it's. Because I lay in the bed, it's been times
Starting point is 02:26:43 when I was younger, 1920, and my mom said this, I lay in the house for months,. Because I lay in the bed. It's been times when I was younger, 1920, and my mom said this, I lay in the house for months, just in the crib in the dark. I take a shower in the dark, I lay in the dark, and I had to snap out of it. Once my back is against the wall, I have to get to it. I feel like what you're describing now in present terms is more melancholy and nostalgia.
Starting point is 02:27:03 Like kind of like a blend of the two, especially the nostalgic part. What does that mean when I can't let go of the past, man? Like that's just something that's bothering me. It's nostalgia to a degree. Yeah. Like when you can't let it go, when you reminisce, I could have did this differently or I wish I would have did that differently or I could do the song. That's just, that's regret. That's just regret. Yeah. Yeah. Or mixing the two. Because I don't regret nothing, but sometimes... you're sitting there saying, damn, I could have did that differently and you harbor on it. That's the regret.
Starting point is 02:27:30 That is regret. But the nostalgia part is sometimes thinking the past was better than it was. Really remembering, oh, back then everything was fine. Everything probably wasn't fine. No, it wasn't. Just remember good times about that. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:27:40 It's easy to look through rosy colored glasses about the past. And this is around the age that nostalgia really kind of starts to set in. Oh, hell yeah. Got it. Really starts to set in. So. I try to live in the now. Too much hope or depression for the future.
Starting point is 02:27:55 Because we got really deep. All y'all wake up every morning with the hope that you'll make more money. Is that true or false? True. Yeah. True. Yeah. That's true. But like how much or false? True, that's true. Yeah. That's true. But like how much more?
Starting point is 02:28:07 For me it's expectation. Or like is there, or is the day creeping up where you look at it and be like, you know what? I can't help. Well, I'm determined to go get it now. I'm determined to go get it. Especially in my 30s, I had hope in humanity. And now it's like, nah, I don't think so.
Starting point is 02:28:32 I think this is it. It's easy with the news, especially as much news as you watched to date line and shit. You see the worst of us. That's not the depressing part. That's not it. Cause that, I don't know if I'm speaking for you. Word, I didn't get none of these.
Starting point is 02:28:45 I got these thoughts from the new Equalizer commercial. Right, okay. Because one day you may have had hope that Queen Latifah could do this thing. And then you see the trailer. Well see, that's your fault. She pep. Well, don't, Big Jersey, watch yourself.
Starting point is 02:29:00 Big Jersey, yeah? Legend. Watch yourself, Flavor Union. It's not just music. It ain't either. It ain't just music. It ain't just music, go ahead. Boogie down production. Throw you right off the stage.
Starting point is 02:29:13 Go ahead and say something wrong about flavor unit there. In Jersey? Nope. Shit. All right, well go ahead. No, I was just gonna say, like the Dateline stuff is more outlier stuff, you know what I'm saying? Whereas the news, like that's just the barrage
Starting point is 02:29:26 of bad news and catastrophic news. Every fucking day we've got like breaking news and just like oh god, what the fuck else is gonna happen? Like we're all being kind of like worn down by, mm-hmm. No, go ahead. Do you believe that we're kind of responsible for what we consume?
Starting point is 02:29:44 Yes. A thousand percent. So it's like, your outlook, if you're watching the news, you watch the news more than my grandmother. Like, you watch a lot of news. It's, what, 85, 90% negativity on the news? Almost 100. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:30:02 You know what I'm saying? So if you- To focus on the news in that conversation would be narrow-minded or looking at things in a hundred. Yeah. You know what I'm saying? So focus on the news in that conversation will be narrow-minded or looking at things in a vacuum. No but I'm just saying it puts you in the mindset. We in this thing and we were born, our parents fucked one night, got it done. Now we're here. This is the state of things out here. Y'all have 40 years left Max. It have nothing to do with the news. What we consume just being here in its current state ain't the best. Ain't the worst.
Starting point is 02:30:32 It ain't the worst either though. I didn't say it's the worst. So it's better than it's been years ago. And that's why I put the news in there because if you're consuming and you're getting all the negativity, all the negative reports, you'll think it's much, much worse than it is.
Starting point is 02:30:48 It's bad, be clear, but it's been worse years ago. What year? For most of the years. Yeah, for the most part. It's been, you say all the time, you wish you was in the 60s, 70s. If you really think about it, you really think you wanted to be was in the 60s, 70s. If you really think about it, you really think you wanted to be around in the 60s and 70s?
Starting point is 02:31:09 Like it was worse. I'd have killed Bobby Womack. Bobby Womack would have been dead, dead, dead. That's the question. I ain't gonna hold you. Sam Cooke didn't have brothers. Somebody suppose. Sam Cooke didn't have older cousins or somebody.
Starting point is 02:31:24 I think about that a lot That was that that might be top three Bobby Womack should have been dead in front of the town Hung on top of the telephone on display like sneakers Sometimes when you do enough trash shit on your own you can't worry that much about what somebody else doing Yeah, but that was a lot of trash shit Wait wait wait wait Yeah, but that was a lot of trash. No, that's a lot of trash. Wait, wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 02:31:43 I didn't know that. No, yeah, stop. Nah, fair enough. Read Aretha Franklin's biography. That's all I'm gonna say. What Sam Cooke did to Aretha Franklin? I'm gonna say what he did, bro. Tell us.
Starting point is 02:31:53 I'll just say Sam Cooke, and it wasn't just him. It was all the, first of all, the R&B circuit and the gospel circuit were two of the freakiest places ever. Like the gospel circuit was like, they was orgies and all kinds of shit, right? I mean, that was the- Is this a Aretha's book? Yeah, it's, read David Rich's book on Aretha,
Starting point is 02:32:10 that's even better. Okay. That's the one that has all the good shit in it. Say the link. I'll send you the link. But Aretha Fring had a baby at 12, not by Sam Cooke, but by somebody else, but Sam was getting down with a lot of R&B singers
Starting point is 02:32:20 when they were 13, 14, 15 years old. So that's part of why he ain't notice what was going on in his own household. Oh. Yeah, I don't know about that. Don't do that. Hey Joe, I'm with you. Bobby was supposed to have been.
Starting point is 02:32:36 Yeah, like Mark saying the right thing again. Bobby Womack would have been dead no matter what. I don't care what the fuck was happening. What? You said it. Fuck it, you talking about. Whatever you did, don't nobody deserve for fuck is happening. What? Fuck is you talking about? Whatever you did, don't nobody deserve for you to, where they close to the funeral,
Starting point is 02:32:52 take my wife and then fuck my daughter. It's a lot. It's a lot. It's a lot. They was nasty back then, man. They were fair. And we'll make songs about it. That's the ill part.
Starting point is 02:33:04 Remember Roberta Flex's song, Jessie? You know it's for Jessie Jackson. No. No I did not. Jessie come home, this bed is, yeah. Hey fair, hold on. Get the fuck. Yo Mark, let me. Hold, hold, give me two seconds.
Starting point is 02:33:21 I didn't know that. Play that as your sleeper, please. Roberta Fleck told me that. Give me two seconds, give me two seconds. What? Give your sleeper, please. Roberta Flat told me that. Give me two seconds, give me two seconds. What? Yo, give me. Yo, you read a lot of celeb books. Mark is ill, he knows the fuck that.
Starting point is 02:33:31 No, he said Roberta told him that. He wants to alter the rules. I asked her if that was true. Roberta told him that. I read it and then I asked if it was true. I don't mind saying it since she's passed away. Rest in peace. Yo, I'm reading the lyrics, man.
Starting point is 02:33:41 It is. Read the, fuck. Jesse come home, there's a hole in the bed where we slept. Now it's growing cold. Jesse, your face in a place where we lay by the hearth all apart and hangs on my heart. Your face in a place. Hey, Jesse, it's lonely. Come home.
Starting point is 02:33:58 Jesse was putting it down. Jesse was beating it. What? Oh my God. He was getting away from that Dr. King. But to your point, you know who that Dr. King, one of Jesse's background singers was in the 70s? I mean, who Roberta's background singer was in the 70s?
Starting point is 02:34:11 In the 80s? One of Jesse's daughters. Same thing, it's a lot of- Cross-pollination. Yeah, cross-pollination, that's a good one. That's, yeah, that's a nice way to put it. It's nice, yeah, I'm happy. I'm just trying to be diplomatic.
Starting point is 02:34:21 I mean, this is before Dr. King died or after? Is it all after? It's all after. Anything you know about Jesse Jackson is probably after. Because King died in 68. This was 70, whatever. Just making sure I just put things together in my head. Just making sense here. He got off on that Dr. King shit.
Starting point is 02:34:37 He got up. Yeah. Yeah, he stepped his shit up. He got Dr. King out the way. Now he became the fake. So Jesse was too old. Etch the kick out the way now. He became the fake Just name output Jesse on top You never think about that mark he was dead
Starting point is 02:34:56 You gotta do more. I know you got some theories on that. I've definitely thought about that hopefully down a lot you could share with me when he passed away or something cuz He just he just be around nobody say nothing to that nigga. So who the fuck fuck is he, yo? I mean, he's a big important guy. Shout out to Jesse Jackson. Shout out to my hero, Jesse Jackson. Wait. Nevermind, nevermind. You ain't tricking me. No.
Starting point is 02:35:16 Ain't tricking me. He on your list? Oh, but that's different, that's personal. Oh, okay. You know him personally? Yeah, Jesse was a mentor. But Jesse, the first time I went to Africa was with Jesse Jackson, he took me to Africa.
Starting point is 02:35:28 So if you knew anything, you wouldn't kick his back in right now? Yeah, no. I respect that, I'll fall back. But there's nothing to know, because he's been perfect, except for the public scandals. Oh, yep.
Starting point is 02:35:40 Hopefully we don't get the Jesteen Island report to come out. Mark might have been. Yep, hopefully we don't get the Justine Island Report to come out Did you go to million man march no, I Wish I did. I did. I wish I did, but I didn't. Why didn't you? It was a couple of reasons.
Starting point is 02:36:11 Part of it was it was in the middle of, we weren't allowed to go. Like basketball season, we weren't allowed to go. And also it was, I had some ideological issues with it. You know what I mean, at the time. But I wish I had gone now, in retrospect. I wish I had gone. Back then you wasn't fucking with it, you know what I mean, at the time, but I wish I had gone now, in retrospect. I wish I had gone. Back then you wasn't fucking with it.
Starting point is 02:36:28 I still had the same issues, the issues I have, did I have now, but I would have gone just to be part of history. Okay, so you still ain't fucking with it. A million people marching against it, like marches are supposed to be, marches are supposed to be for a thing. The March on Washington was the March on Washington
Starting point is 02:36:49 for jobs and freedom, you know what I'm saying, in 63. Like you march and protest a system. To me, you march against your oppressor, you march against a power structure. I didn't like the idea of a million black men getting together to march against themselves. For me, I thought that I would've marched for structural things, I would've marched for systemic things. I would have marched for systemic things.
Starting point is 02:37:06 I would have been fighting for power. I understood Farrakhan's argument, and I don't think he's wrong. I just would have organized the march differently. Be careful. No, I've expressed that to him directly. And that's not a flag. You told him. Tell him, man, look at my...
Starting point is 02:37:24 Make sure you understand. Very impressive. Make sure that you're clear. Shout out to Falcon. Shout out to everybody who was a part of Million Man March. You know Brother Mark. Oh God. So you would have organized it differently, would you say? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:37:43 I would have organized it differently. But I love the idea of us coming together in a spirit of love and tradition. I mean, to get a million people, a million plus, on that mall was amazing. That's nice, for real. It was a beautiful sight. Holy shit. I hate y'all.
Starting point is 02:37:56 We can't never be serious, even though this has been a pretty serious fucking thing. We're pretty serious, yeah, a lot of them are morbidly. This has been a piss-poor job of being serious. You get serious and hop right out of it. Right. Hop back in. We've been laughing at morbidity. Let me depress y'all and then jump out.
Starting point is 02:38:12 You double-dutch with seriousness. Do you have any hope, guys? And then we're like, no. And he's like, this is too fucking depressing. Yeah, then you crack jokes. Yeah, that's my pole of judgment. Y'all get carried away with the hopeless shit. Like, I was just asking Jesus.
Starting point is 02:38:23 Where's the therapist for the crew when you need it? Jesus, lighten up. Pricks. Hey, you a Knicks fan? Tell me about what's going on with Tracy Morgan, man. He had that surf and turf? You eat the garden glizzies? He had that corned beef and the cabbage.
Starting point is 02:38:40 Corned beef and cabbage, yeah. That nigga threw up on the side of the court. Come on, man. Not on the side of the court. Come on, man. Not on the side of the court, he was from the court side. Court side, yeah, right there. Yeah, right there. His seat is right in the front by the table. Tracy Morgan has replied to that already. He says it was a fool poisoning.
Starting point is 02:38:55 It's the reason that he was throwing up court side at the Knick Game. That's unfortunate. And it's a spooky thing because we know Tracy to have had health issues in the past. Of course. We don't look at it like somebody just throwing up, like a regular person throwing up.
Starting point is 02:39:10 So he says he's all right, thank God he's all right. I know he's a staple at these Knicks games. We see him all the time. Yeah, talk shit to you. He made jokes off of that. He was like, yeah, they want to know when I threw up on the court. That's a bad place to get sick.
Starting point is 02:39:23 Yeah. That's the most embarrassing thing that could probably happen. Other than actually shitting on yourself. It's a great place to get sick. Yeah. That's the most embarrassing thing that could probably happen other than actually shitting on yourself. It's a great place to get sick, actually. Why is it a great place? Well, there's physicians on deck. Oh, okay, that's true.
Starting point is 02:39:33 Maybe not courtside. Like, Lamar Hamlin might have gone a different way if he were at fucking Lube Oil. You not rude. He might not have gone hit the chest either though. But I get it though, I get it. I get it. This nigga is crazy.
Starting point is 02:39:49 Would you be humiliated from that? From what? Throwing out a bottle of soda. Throwing out a bottle of soda. Of course I like the box. Fam was projecting out the bottle. That shit was just, that was like a cartoon. That was like.
Starting point is 02:39:58 That in that video? Yes. That shit looks like a cartoon. Yeah. I'd be, would you be embarrassed, Mel? Yeah, I'm thinking to myself right now, every time I've thrown up, I'm like, I know it's coming. So I would have ran, not to say that this wasn't like.
Starting point is 02:40:14 You ain't gonna let shit fall. He did it right, right there. If he ran, it would be trying to run. Me and Believer, not you. I'm just saying, I don't know, forget it. What? What? I was about to make a joke,
Starting point is 02:40:26 saying forcing yourself to throw up and actually throwing up is different. Oh, shit. Oh, my God. Going to the bathroom to get the hot dog you just ate out, because I remember that trick, I see a lot of girls do it. Wow.
Starting point is 02:40:37 He was going to make that trick. Yeah, I was going to, but I stopped. Good for you. I see the girl. Because she not playing. She not playing. I gotta throw up. Yeah. I just, throw up. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:40:45 I just, I don't want to take no more of that big guy. Yo, yo. Don't hit me, nigga. No. No. Get away. What is wrong with you? I know that shit.
Starting point is 02:40:58 You saying Mel was doing that? Shut up. Mel, have you ever forced yourself to throw up before in life? Let's go exactly, man. I thought it was true. When I was like 11 or 12, man. Not that, we're talking about as an adult, girl. No, then no, no. Man, stop.
Starting point is 02:41:11 Why would I make myself throw up as an adult? Do you not know a lot of women that make themselves throw up after eating? You're talking about bulimia. See, here you go. Do you not know anybody that's throw up? Get out of there, get out of there. No, I personally do not know bulimics.
Starting point is 02:41:24 Signal on. I personally do not know bulimics. I personally do not know bulimics. But it's something that people hide, so maybe I do and I just don't know and they've never told me. You hid it. I am not bulimic. Don't start that fucking narrative. I'm about to stick it y'all by the tongue
Starting point is 02:41:38 of your stupid fucking dad. You caught that toilet and then he told you not to go in there, he didn't throw it up. Yo, Mel, Mel made better knock it the fuck off. I'm so glad I never fucking threw up here. Mel ain't mashing. All of a sudden, you come up, hmm. I'm like, hold on, Daisy.
Starting point is 02:41:53 I feel relaxed. Joe said, can you please stop using that bathroom? There was not a smell in sight. I said, what the fuck were you doing? Yo, yo, y'all are horrible, man. Shout out to Mel So what the fuck were you doing? Yo. Yo, y'all are horrible, man. Shout out to the man. Man, I fuck with you, man.
Starting point is 02:42:08 That shit is real. I heard people throw up at the bathroom. Oh, no, I've done it. That's just your teenager. You've done it? I've done it too before. Too sweet? No, nigga, to go finish drinking some more.
Starting point is 02:42:15 Oh. I remember. The booed rally? Wait. Listen to me, like, aw. Wait, Freeze did it too? I'm not here. I'm talking about, man, I've been.
Starting point is 02:42:23 I've had too much to drink and had to throw up so I can get back to drinking. You're a drunky. Help me. Help with the drunk. Help me. Once I throw up, I'm not drinking no more. Bad part. Could you just shut up for a second so we can gain understanding?
Starting point is 02:42:40 Come on, Joe. Let me hear it. He said his white boy bag. You did that before, like stuck your finger in your mouth to throw up weird. No, not even stick my finger in my mouth. I know I gotta throw up. Like, all right, you know what? I'm feeling sick.
Starting point is 02:42:50 I can't drink no more. Just look at the light. What was your little throw up move? I'm like, I'm feeling it, niggas. You're feeling yucky, right? I gotta go in the bathroom and just throw it up. Feeling yucky inside. No, nigga.
Starting point is 02:43:04 Do you at least get a little shot of peppermint schnapps or something afterwards? No, but I've definitely done that though. Get right back to partying. But did you actually, you see you actually make yourself throw up. No, I just like, no. It's like when you gotta make the shit come out, right?
Starting point is 02:43:20 You gotta, what? Squeeze, push. Yeah, wait, wait, wait, what? Put your finger up there for a little bit. No! Whoa, baby. Yo, you and your thumb be doing this. You gotta put your foot up.
Starting point is 02:43:30 You gotta put your foot up. You gotta prop your foot up. Go with the Squatty Potty. Squatty Potty. Do it again. The Squatty Potty helps. Oh, careful, it's a white couch. Don't worry, we are definitely moving on.
Starting point is 02:43:42 We are moving on, it's over. Holy shit. Y'all are sick. Bilemic. We are moving on, it's over. Holy shit. Oh, y'all are sick. Baleemic. Y'all got problems. Y'all got problems. That's fire though, to get the amnesia after the bulimia. Like, just forget it.
Starting point is 02:43:58 Come on, I gotta sleep, bro, I don't care. My shit is queued up already. Go ahead. I don't give a fuck what y'all talking about. I'm done. I'm done. You don't got the front of the show? Huh. I don't give a fuck what y'all talking about. I'm done. You don't got a front of the show? Huh?
Starting point is 02:44:07 You don't got a front of the show? Look at you, nigga. I'm talking my shit out. Yo, the pay is locked. You can stop trying to do a better job. It's over. The fuck. All right, let's see.
Starting point is 02:44:20 Let's see if there's a dog. What's up, nigga? Joe Budden Daily. Look who he's flicking, girl. Nah, there's not no Joe Budden Daily. Me and Mel in here, nigga. You think I'll's a... What I'm doing nigga? Joe Butt and Daly with Queen Flit. Nah, I know Joe Butt and Daly. Me and Melanie in it nigga. You think I'll do a Joe Butt and Daly without Melanie? Yes.
Starting point is 02:44:31 Without you. No, don't try putting Melanie in you nigga. So she gonna be down? Flip me right in here. If I don't attack, I'm lit. Corey, let me in real quick. No, it's wild. Flip me right in here. If I don't have time. Corey, let me in real quick.
Starting point is 02:44:48 No, it's live. It's live. You know what's happening. All the live shit on Patreon. I know there's no new projects, so we good. Okay. Yo, if you over your Patreon and see Joe sitting here on live. I'll be talking. He drive right the fuck over here. I swear to God, I'm right be a Patreon and see Joe sitting here a lot. I'll be tired. He drive right the fuck over here. I swear to God, I'm right around the corner.
Starting point is 02:45:08 Yo. He be like, yo, what he gonna tell me on camera? Leave. You gotta leave, then he's fucking up the production. Let me sit down, nigga. Let me just check my phone really quick to make sure there's nothing else that has to go.
Starting point is 02:45:20 Oh, that shit would be hilarious, yo. Sorry if we made any of you fucking. We didn't mean to do that. Yeah, I bad. Shout out to the man. If we made you sad, if we made you fucking throw up or shit yourself. Or fart in your sleep.
Starting point is 02:45:34 Anything. Any bulimics out there, I bad. Yeah, if we made you call up your uncle and see if that was really your uncle, we apologize. All right, let's see. B-Dub, Randall Ag, Ye Tweed, Tracy Morgan, LeBron at 40, make it make sense. Nope, not getting me.
Starting point is 02:46:00 No. It's right there though. No. No he not. No he not. I don't care, I don But it's right there. No he not. No he not. I don't care. Black excellence.
Starting point is 02:46:08 No he not. Mark. No he not. Alright, but you do know. No we aren't. I ain't saying it. But it is right there. And I got a brain.
Starting point is 02:46:24 Nope. Why he looks so good And then there's that company in Miami No Anyway, nope what else I got here height for snow snowfall spin-off. They're talking about that snowfall spin-off real quick real quick Yes, yes, yes, yes, yes, baby What else is here? That sexy red Bruno Bruno song sure went away fast. Real quick.
Starting point is 02:46:49 Thank God. Never heard from that one again. I would like to hear before we go from Mark and Mel about this Jonathan Majors. Did he aggress? Yo. The aggressed leaked call. Where he was.
Starting point is 02:47:03 Is it real? Is it not? Rolling Stone put this out. Hey, I'm still going to see that movie next week. Magazine Dreams? Yeah. Rolling Stone is usually pretty credible with vetting sources. That's what I'll say.
Starting point is 02:47:17 And there's the audio. Usually. Usually. And I don't know any, I don't have any reason to think it's not real. But, you know but who knows? They released it and he's on audio acknowledging that he aggressed. That's the language he used, his former girlfriend.
Starting point is 02:47:35 And she said, she named three things he did, like you grabbed me, you choked me, it's like all these things that he was like, that was all covered under aggress. Which is a little bit of a snarky take when you're apologizing for being violent to somebody. And for a lot of people that was, not a smoking gun.
Starting point is 02:47:51 Confirmation? Yeah, but confirmation of what he'd been accused of, and a lot of people had been running for him, saying he didn't do anything, he's innocent, he's being framed. And he sort of understated what he did, and this audio kind of changes that. The timing of it is interesting to me.
Starting point is 02:48:07 Yes, I'm saying. The why of it is interesting. Because of the movie that he's, and his career is kind of being revived? Yeah, right. So I wonder if somebody said, look, I have this Trump card, and I'm gonna wait until he's revived again to do it,
Starting point is 02:48:20 because if you dump that all at once, he can then recover from it. Who's, yeah, I agree with you. Who's rumored to have, it's anonymously just put out there? That part I don't know. I didn't see a source or a, like an allegation of a source, so I don't know.
Starting point is 02:48:36 But I'm genuinely curious about the timing of it. But regardless of the timing of it, if he did it, people have a right to play that card whenever they want. So I'm not defending it, but it is interesting to think about the strategic nature of maybe the release. There's some people in Hollywood who don't want Jonathan Majors to win, whether you agree with him or not. That's true.
Starting point is 02:48:56 It's been very clear. I've heard this on camera and I've heard this behind the scenes. There are people who feel very strongly about him, honestly, in ways that they don't about other actors or producers who have done similar things or worse things. So I'm curious to know the why of that. What's the reason? Yeah. I don't think it's just as being black. I mean, that's part of it. But I know even black people who have been able to recover from it. So do you think that it's part of the rumor that he was extraordinarily difficult to work
Starting point is 02:49:22 with? Like that was a pervasive, pervasive, pervasive rumor. But I'm always, you know, kind of like skeptical about that oh, difficulty to work with kind of thing because there's other factors that play into it as to why somebody might wanna carry on with that narrative. And I've seen both. I've seen people who just walk with dignity and have like a commitment to what they want. And people process that as audacity. Right. But I've also both. I've seen people who just walk with dignity and have a commitment to what they want.
Starting point is 02:49:45 And people process that as audacity. Right, but I've also worked with assholes. I mean, I could tell you, I mean, just a good example is VH1. In the past. Yeah, yeah, yeah, worked with. Nobody appears like that, honestly. I mean, most everybody here is great, you know,
Starting point is 02:50:01 and those who aren't, God is still working on them. It's really like, I was thinking about like VH1, where like when I would work, particularly like certain like reality shows where I could see a lot of the cast was dope and some people who on camera were called, behind, on the camera were called hard to work with, behind the scenes they really were hard to work with.
Starting point is 02:50:20 You can always tell about who the camera people fuck with. True. Like when the camera people be like, yo, fuck him. Yeah. They get the worst angle. That's always a very good the camera people fuck with. True. Like when the camera people be like, yo, fuck him. Yeah. They get the worst angle. That's always a very good, I always always believe them.
Starting point is 02:50:28 Lighting shit. Cause that's who they, who will get the burn, of the bad behavior. And so I don't know if Jonathan Majors is good to work with, easy to work with, or hard to work with, but that narrative is probably connected to somebody feeling strongly about him and that would, that could play into this.
Starting point is 02:50:41 So I don't know, but I do know that this timing isn't good for Jonathan Majors. But I mean, like we went through the entire trial process and he was found guilty, like on a couple of the charges. So like related to being the aggressor. So it's kind of like, well, what? It's all about reminding the public of why they shouldn't like you.
Starting point is 02:51:01 Yeah, well then the timing is suspicious based on the fact that this movie Machine Dreams was everybody it was like a really big deal at Sundance like a couple of years ago and then everybody like Sony dropped it and it was like okay, it's never gonna fucking come out and now he's had like this resurgence and they're like, okay, we're gonna put the movie out and now here we are again. Right. So discussing We'll see what happens. The good thing is the putt if the public does not Care care then it's over like he's able to finally move on and I have this thing hanging behind it Cuz he may he may have known that audio was there the whole time and be constantly afraid of when it's gonna get released
Starting point is 02:51:38 And I'm not trying Kate for Jonathan majors again, whatever he did He should have a serious part about all it, is that the public could not care about a domestic violence incident against women. Right, exactly. And that's actually the problem. He should be held accountable. He should, whatever. But it seems to me he has been held accountable.
Starting point is 02:51:55 Yeah. When y'all do that, what's wrong with y'all? Us. Why you being so testing? I'm not. That's the scariest part, is that the public could potentially not care about something like that.
Starting point is 02:52:08 So it is our job to keep it always at the forefront of things. Yo, listen, John the Major shit, man. Right, I see the groove. You know, listen, let that nigga get back what he needs to get back, man, what he was charged with. It's unintentional, what was it again, man?
Starting point is 02:52:24 Like... Willfully obtuse. Man, I ain't helping you. It's stillal, what was it again, man? Like... Willfully obtuse. Man, I ain't helping you. It's still up to you. She ain't fucking with you this episode. She fucking with me. She cool.
Starting point is 02:52:32 That made you beyond the limit. No, but that was to you, nigga, but I'ma check it out. We didn't read it like that. It doesn't matter what it was to you. It's still inappropriate. We play inappropriate jokes. Yeah, but if somebody lost a parent and had to deal with that, that very thing, I mean, you can see how that would be a trigger point.
Starting point is 02:52:47 Understood, but I'm not thinking in real time about math. That's what makes it inconsiderate. It's inconsiderate. I am an inconsiderate person. Yeah, but I was saying, that's why somebody would be tight. And what about you? Okay, let's see. Now, hold on, let me get at it.
Starting point is 02:52:57 Me? Yeah. I'm sure I am too. I would apologize too, but I would understand why somebody would be tight with me. Yeah, but you still do inconsiderate shit. You inconsiderate TFT. This is the most immature cast in the world. Fun fact. Yeah. Come on, man. Yeah, but that's not right, so you should understand it understand why somebody would be tight with me. But you still do inconsiderate shit. You're inconsiderate to your coworkers.
Starting point is 02:53:05 My fault. Damn, yeah, that's not right. So you should understand and extend grace, like flipping me in there. Especially if I say, I'm just my fault. Yeah, I thought that was a great apology. And I didn't double down on it because obviously I know it's sensitive.
Starting point is 02:53:17 And I thought that was a great apology, man. One of the best I ever heard. Seriously. It was. And fuck you guys. It was sincere, it was from the heart. It was beautiful. It's true. Accepted accountability. That was wonderful. You just messed up by saying if. Fuck you guys. It was sincere, it was from the heart. It was beautiful. It's true.
Starting point is 02:53:25 And accepted accountability. That was wonderful. You just messed up by saying if, but you know. Yeah. If was the fifth we all be drunk. Bitch. That was good. Wow.
Starting point is 02:53:36 Way closer than I was. Man, what a part, come on. What a part. What a part, you guys. That's what I'm talking about. And a high note. Right up here. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 02:53:46 Holy shit. Sleepers. This gotta suck for Michael B. Joy. He was just getting cool with him again. He got to take the other pictures again. He was just like, all right, I will work with him. All right, we back. I will work with him soon, soon too.
Starting point is 02:54:05 And rollers don't drop that shit. Oh fuck. Change my number again. If I'm telling you that I aggressed you, don't fucking highlight, highlight what is enough. What the aggressed action was. I thought she was right.
Starting point is 02:54:24 You gotta do that shit. When did he have this conversation with her? Right after the situation? I don't have the... It was soon after, but I don't have the exact date or time table. Like how far after. But yeah. I mean, because sometimes saying I aggress allows you to gloss over what you actually did.
Starting point is 02:54:38 Got it. Because language matters. Yeah. And he used those words specifically. And behavior is real important in those incidents. Seriously. Like... Yeah. Yeah, so and he's used those words specifically and behavior is real important in those incidents. Seriously, like yeah, yeah, true. Yeah. Yeah. All right. I'm done and I feel better. That's important.
Starting point is 02:55:00 That's important. You got happy. We could bring a little joy to work. You guys did it. Thank you. Pick up nothing else. We made Joe's day better. That's right. That's important. I do. Happy we could bring a little joy to you today. You guys did it. Thanks. If nothing else, we made Joe's day better. That's right. That's a fact. I can't kill. This thing of bringing is different, bro. All right, I gotta sleep.

Yeah, the verse is the song. That's it. Yup. I'm going to go to Far Rock. This is King's Streets, Cut the Stove On.
