Starting point is 00:18:05 I've tripped over it. Yeah. That device don't say class and is racist, because who else you trying to not smell? That's fair. There's some people you might not want to smell. Hey. Hey.
Starting point is 00:18:20 Sorry. Hey, I don't want to make it heavy. I don't want to make it heavy. Some shit is like by mistake races, or maybe not. Glad to be here with you guys. What's going on? What did I miss? What did I miss?
Starting point is 00:18:34 What did we miss then? Yeah, you know what we missed. Let's go. What did y'all miss? Yeah, tell us about you. I was true. Well, I went away. You did? I went away. You did.
Starting point is 00:18:47 I went away. Full family. Went to Turks for a family vacation. Beautiful. Me, my baby, her kids, my kids, and my only sister. That's fine. Wow. I love the photos.
Starting point is 00:19:03 There were vacations throwing me off when you say all those people a lot of kids Now I agreed to this trip I guess kinda with co-parent privilege right like I co-parent from my crib like over the phone FaceTime some text Couple days a week some text. Hey yo nigga, what I said. Yo, yeah. Right. Go see your Rooster in DMs. Right. Hey, couple days a week. You know what I mean? These motherfuckers.
Starting point is 00:19:31 So let me start with a family vacation and a vacation are not the same at all. Not at all. Two totally different things. So now this is the second time that I took my ass out in the country on a private jet and came back and needed a vacation I need a vacation. I bet yeah, I start I start with that Yeah, but for a family vacation
Starting point is 00:19:57 We had a blast We had a good time come to find out all of these little motherfuckers have their own minds agendas, personalities, and feelings and don't really care. They all broke. And they don't really care about what's right, wrong, logical, not. They don't really care about nothing outside of their- Of them. Yes. Yes.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Yeah. So, long story, long is out. So I got to jet. Classy. Repeat that. Because I'm an introvert and... That's a reason. Let's create core memories. A rich introvert.
Starting point is 00:20:41 Let's create core memories. My dad couldn't do it. Sure. Let me do it. Okay. The whole house wake up late. These niggas spend the night. They spend the night in my crib.
Starting point is 00:20:52 So now the whole house wake up late, but it's cool because I'm surprising them with the jet. They don't know. But I also did buy regular airport tickets that we just now got credit on. Okay. That's some real rich shit. Yeah, it's a different type of rich right there.
Starting point is 00:21:05 Fake airline tickets you really pay for? What? I got the airline tickets at a good reasonable price, but as more kids kept getting added to the trip, I was like, you know what, let's just do it. See, that's when I would've been sitting there using the fake whatever reason I can to get the insurance to get the money back.
Starting point is 00:21:21 Exactly, yeah, exactly. These little kids woke up grumpy as hell, late. It's too early for all that. Skipped the airport, walked right through the little Tita Burrow joint onto a plane and two of them had an attitude about it. Nigga, when I tell you my little sister and my baby's youngest daughter was sitting there petrified saying, Oh my God, give me off of this contraption.
Starting point is 00:21:54 My little sister knows some stats. Don't you know that private jets are way more, way more dangerous than a regular airplane? I don't know how we're getting back, but I'll swim back. I'll walk back. Whatever I do back. I've never this thing again. There's little tiny plane. Oh my god I could see how they would be thrown off cool, but that Should be that made me right into
Starting point is 00:22:17 See my entire story is just full of dynamics. Got it. Got it This dynamic is when two ten-year-old girls get together and and meet for the first time and like each other Now I'm dealing with a 10 year old and an 11 year old Click and my little sister keep doing some shit like this cock that tea Cock that tea I'm like, yo, who the fuck are you? Yo, I come up here and joke that we old, but you're not really gonna feel old until you get around 10-year-old, 12, 14.
Starting point is 00:22:54 I know. Clock some T again and see what I do to your little fucking fingers. Watch what happened. Cool. We get there. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful place. Look like it? Yeah, get there. It's beautiful. It's a beautiful place.
Starting point is 00:23:06 Looked like it. Yeah, it looked great. That's my spot, man. They hold me down over there. So we get there. We have a great time, day one. Then we get to family dinner time. Y'all just at the villa the whole time, chefs and all that?
Starting point is 00:23:20 The whole time. Well, some of us. I was waiting for this one. I'm at the villa the whole time. The whole time. Yeah. Well, some of us. I was waiting for this one. I'm at the villa the whole time. These kids wanted to do stuff. Of course. Don't you know after the first day, after day one of a little pool and just looking around and chit-chatting. This is what we're doing.
Starting point is 00:23:39 So where we going? Where's that? Yeah. Yeah. Wait, what? Oh, you kids don't know what vacation means? No, they do. No, they do.
Starting point is 00:23:47 They do. You don't know what vacation means. So day one, everybody's together as a family. My son Trey don't get in the pool at all. He just on his phone looking for action. Now I'm introduced to the 24 year old side of this trip. Oh yeah. 24, you never been nowhere, brand new passport.

Jaday's oldest, my man, football, my football man. Yeah. Now he has Tourette's. And I'm used to it. Oh, like for real? Oh yes.
Starting point is 00:24:56 I thought you was making a joke. I'm not making a joke. I was like, are you sure he had Tourette's? You know them football players. Yo, stop. But he has Touret? You know them football players. Yeah. But he has to rest. Okay. And he gets like a tick attack when he's excited or nervous or you know, something like that.
Starting point is 00:25:16 Again, I'm used to this, but because we in Turks, I guess he was really excited. No, when I tell you. That's my man. That's my man. That's my man. That's my man. I'm going to say bread. I'm sorry, I can't do this. I can't do this. He came down.
Starting point is 00:25:40 Listen, when I tell y'all, and that's the thing, he grew since last time I seen him. So he got a couple more inches on him. When I tell y'all, this nigga cursed that whole deputy the whole night, like aggressive. Like a football player. Yo, your mother shit had never had you.
Starting point is 00:25:59 Fuck you, you a bitch, I'll shoot you right down. Yo, and your mother didn't want you. And black people are armed. Like what's going on? Yo, I looked to the side and I said, yo, yo, wait. Yo, stop playing, bro. Wait, so I look up, I've heard this before,
Starting point is 00:26:17 but I look up and I see Lex and Trey and Jimmy. They're like. So I do the shit, right? I'm like, hey, don't mind. He's like, don't mind. Jimmy Don't mind Don't mind like yes, but he is going Somebody go after restraint this little it's gonna take a couple of us. Yo, he's bugging. He cursed that table out the entire dinner. And as she get up, she put ice down his back.
Starting point is 00:26:54 She trying to stop him. He's still going. And your mother's a bitch. And you, I don't know who the fuck you think you are. Wait. I would have been dying like this. Are you crazy? Wait, what? This shit fucking my brain.
Starting point is 00:27:12 Poor Lex. I feel bad for him. Yeah, my poor baby. So I learned to ask another dynamic, right? Kids is a little more like, ah. My kids is kind of just like, OK. All right, that's what you want. That's peace.
Starting point is 00:27:36 My kids is just observing, like, oh, all right. Bet we'll take account. We'll take that into account moving forward. Note it. You're right. OK. Oh, shit. Oh.
Starting point is 00:27:51 That's the first night. Oh, my god. Boy, that Thursday night. Friday night, Trey is up early with his club clothes on. Oh. And in all of this, all Lex wants to do is work. He works, that's the problem with him. Anybody that is working, he is helping them.
Starting point is 00:28:25 These people, the staff that catered to you, they're all ready, he wanna help them. That's dope. And when you, it's not. It's not. Because then when you tell him no, the budding con gene kicks in. And anywhere he's seen these workers,
Starting point is 00:28:39 dad, I need to go to the bathroom to brush my teeth. And I'm like, no, you gotta wait till they're done. He's like, ugh. So the whole trip, he's just working. He's working. He's cleaning bathrooms. He's got these cook niggas playing catch. I can see how that thing's complicated.
Starting point is 00:28:57 He dropped the lemonade all over somebody. He's like, ah. He's fucking shit. So he's not the greatest worker yet. He's still working. I'm looking at him, I'm thinking yo, the tip is gonna have to be a lot for this type of turn. He throwing, glass breaking, ta!
Starting point is 00:29:13 All right, so he's working. I'm just explaining to y'all dynamics, I promise. Another dynamic. Oh, Jesus. So Saturday, I mean Friday now, Trey's hitting that TikTok. Found the little Shisha Club. Ah, that's you, Shisha.
Starting point is 00:29:28 There you go. Let's go, Trey. You found the Shisha Club. Yeah. The car service is $150 an hour, and it's about 40 minutes away. We are, as it turns out. It's cool, my pops got it.
Starting point is 00:29:41 We're on the peaceful side of Turks. Oh, the fun side. He got to go over there. To the fun side. And you don't want him to be alone, so the car's got to stay there for the entirety of his. So he goes. He go dolo?
Starting point is 00:29:54 Dolo by itself. OK. Friday night, peace the scene. He comes right back. He's out for two hours. And that's fine. Friday. Came back on Saturday. I hear it. He's out for two hours and that's fine Friday Came back Saturday
Starting point is 00:30:13 Because God is good all the time man his Central air stops working in this villa. I Gotta be outside now. So now that's a choice now. They have no choice. They can't fix it till tomorrow. They move him to Villa 14 by himself. Definitely got to go outside. Now I'm out. That nigga hit the TikTok. So he's like, tonight I'm taking Naim.
Starting point is 00:30:41 That's my man, Mr. Toretto. We taking him. We outside to the Sheesha spot. And we. Hold on, that could go. That could go one of two ways. Yeah. What?
Starting point is 00:30:52 Hey, shut the fuck up back there. Okay, go ahead, go ahead. Let me see where we go with this. So they hop back in the $150 power car, and they take their ass out there, and they meeting girls. Of course. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:07 They got a, yada, yada. Yeah. Yeah. Apparently some girls from Jersey city happened to be in terms of as fate would have as fate would have it. He brings them back to his own Villa away from dad, him and my man. I, Of course. And his words, not mine, and he has a therapy session. I'm like boy, that's your words. That's your words. That's you. He
Starting point is 00:31:35 said the girls wasn't into that. They kept trying to make me do stuff. And I said, well, stuff like what, son? He said, they made me, they asked me to put on some gray sweats and dwork. Oh, holy shit. So now my girl start busting out laughing. What the fuck, what'd you say? I thought that he said something different. But she asked him again, wait, you said dwork? Oh, dwork.
Starting point is 00:32:02 That's not a dick twerk, is it? That is what a dick twerk is. I'm so glad I'm old, man. Can you imagine this shit? Apparently, all the kids have heard that phrase before. Not me. My first time right now. We old. Dwork, they want my oldest son to put great sweats on
Starting point is 00:32:20 and Dwork shake his dick. All right. All right, so cool. now I'm just clowning I'm clowning him of course but uh but wait wait wait did he put sweats on? No my baby he didn't work he didn't work he didn't work and that was Saturday they went out so my baby had all this Candlelight rose-filled dinner some romantic shit lined up However trip takes a drastic turn I Want to say this is Saturday? Night train and went out but Saturday night. My baby has family friends staying with them in Houston okay for the summer and the family
Starting point is 00:33:07 friend has children and one of the children unexpectedly passed away. Oh wow. Oh fuck. 14 years old, cardiac arrest so they think. Wow. Rest in peace to Preston but I tell you that at five o'clock, her oldest daughter came screaming out of the villa to where as the entire villa, anybody that was in it, you could hear. Yeah, yeah. Imagine. Now that needed to be. Of course.
Starting point is 00:33:39 Now y'all got to console. That's the trip. Now you got to not tell your youngest, you're trying to protect them. Like, a lot happening Saturday night. Wow. Saturday night. Shit.
Starting point is 00:33:51 I'm so sorry, man. So that was the trip. Yeah, I was super sorry too. I can't imagine. I cannot imagine. Again, I wanna just thank my higher power for getting my family there and back safe. Death is one thing when you you looking at it on the news
Starting point is 00:34:06 and when you seeing it on your phone, but when it get that close to your doorstep at such a young age, that was a lot. So I'm watching her being mommy mode. Actually, I, God damn. God damn, bro. I wanna fucking, I gotta shout out you moms out there, I ain't gonna hold you.
Starting point is 00:34:27 Another one, another one. You moms that do this 24 seven with these kids, that's just there to deal with it all, from death to feeding them, to boyfriend's relationships, to doing their hair every time these girls get out the pool, you doing their hair. It's like this was a trip where all focus was just on kids.
Starting point is 00:34:53 It's dads that do that. Not trying to be funny, but everything you name, I have to do. You saying? It ain't just moms that. We lucky to have partners, but like, this shit is still, there's a lot of shit. Yeah, but this is about the moms.
Starting point is 00:35:06 No, I'm just saying. I hear you. I hear you. Go ahead. But I'm not mad, I mean, I'm joking. I know, I know. Any parent that is on 24 hour maintenance and raising a kid,
Starting point is 00:35:20 God damn, how do you do it with these little demons? I'd be so happy, that's what I's why me and Ice come to work so much. These fucking... You wonder why this shit look like this? Right. It ain't look like this the whole time? My shit is all white. Oh dog, I could not wait for these kids
Starting point is 00:35:36 to get back to their rightful owners. Yeah. Yeah. Then me and the 10 year old, me and our youngest, it's kind of, we got a little power struggle going on too, because I'm folding moms up. Now we get that dynamic, like yo, you sit down and shut up, all right?
Starting point is 00:35:56 I'm folding her, no matter what you got to say. I'm gonna knock on this door. These motherfuckers, and they still will knock. Slide the door, yeah! Oh. Yo, they coming right in. Kids don't have no respect for nothing. Knock on this these motherfuckers and they still will not slide it over. Yeah Yo, they coming right in kids don't have no Nigga, I really believe that kids they got some kind of tick inside of them. They know they know why so they know no Not that kids know when you know the name on. They know. They know. They come right barge in. It's in the air, it's a sentence.
Starting point is 00:36:27 Oh my Lord, Jesus. But anyway, so nobody went out Sunday, everything was smooth, they went horseback riding and some shit. We played Uno, fucking, Uno was great. That little shuffle the card, card? Swap hands? Swap hands.
Starting point is 00:36:43 No, swap hands is cool. The card that say, hey, anybody put they shit in the shuffle them up and redo it. What? Shuffle cards. That's new shit. That's some new ones. So the game is going for mad long three and four hours
Starting point is 00:36:54 like fucking Monopoly. It's the Richardsons against the buttons. I rig it so my son can win. Naturally. Now they mad. Yo, it was a good time, but I need a big kiss. Nah, you need a big kiss. Uncle when naturally now it was a good time, but I need a big now you need to be. Yeah, I can see yes, I need to be a lot. You took a trip. You ain't take a vacation. Yeah, yeah, I need a vacation every time me and shaw. They do the spa. She get the
Starting point is 00:37:17 masseuse I want and I haven't figured out a way to effectively say move it. Is it just one of those things where you like want what it didn't come to you. Have you had, how do you know that that's the head of the system before because we go to the massage thing. She booked the couple shit we go is two girls because we waited for there to be two girls. Sure. Okay, so I'm sitting there salivating over one and she, I think she's making some noise, I think she eye fucking me too. And then they say, all right, put this blindfold on. And then you put the blindfold on or you go in the other room and you come back and
Starting point is 00:37:56 it's a whole different motherfucker. But the massage was good. You should have kept the blindfold on. You could have just lived in the fantasy. Right, you could have just, oh man, you can't play no more in the masseuse. You got to just do as you're told in the masseuse. But good time. Shout out to Turks. Drake tried to get out on Sunday too. Talking about some Noah's Ark.
Starting point is 00:38:15 Oh, this is Drake's favorite bar. Nigga, sit down. Lock yourself in the room, nigga. You're not going nowhere now. But anyway. Oh man, that sounds like a good trip. It was an adventure. That sounds like a lot.
Starting point is 00:38:24 Yeah, it sounds like a lot. It was an adventure. Glad you. But anyway. Oh man. That sounds like you're a good trip. It was an adventure. That sounds like a lot. Yeah, it sounds like a lot. It was an adventure. Glad you did it. Oh yeah, I'm glad. I'm glad everybody enjoyed it.
Starting point is 00:38:32 Oh, and my favorite part about all of it is all of these motherfuckers are still here. Everybody. Yeah, we saw them as well. Lex, fucking up kids. Everybody's still here. I saw your face when a couple of them came out on the balcony.
Starting point is 00:38:44 You had that look like. I ain't used to see my kid on a Tuesday. Why you here? I text him yesterday like, yo, we back on American soil. She was like, all right, dope. That's peace. Then is that dynamic to the fight with the parent when it's summer? Parents check the weather. It ain't taking that kid back.
Starting point is 00:39:08 So somebody had me to hit you Friday. So whatever, man. Anyway, how about you guys? Nothing like that. Nothing like that. That's hard to top that. I went to Vermont this weekend. It's my first time in Vermont.
Starting point is 00:39:20 Got out of here nice and early on Friday. So got there at a respectable time, like 11.30. Oh, that's dope. The last hour was terrifyingly dark. There's not a single light in the entire highway of Vermont, I don't think, nor cars. There was a traffic, you know when the shit goes yellow on the GPS and it's like there's traffic right here?
Starting point is 00:39:37 Yeah. It was just a car pulled over. It was a lot. But it was fun, man. We were up there, my man Aaron shot to Aaron, it's his people's cabin, and he listens to music, like we listen to music, where he DJ'd or had the aux for the entire 48 hours I was there and was playing all fires, the white fire though.
Starting point is 00:39:57 But I got 700 new songs on my playlist. That's always dope. Yeah, it was cool, nice cabin, we just kind of chilled, campfire, drank, ate some mushrooms, laughed our asses off, till the sun came up for two straight days. It was good. Good times.
Starting point is 00:40:12 Shot to Vermont. Sounds good, sounds good. Did you get your prize picks in though? You know I did, buddy. Shot to prize picks. Hit a little lick, huh? Yeah, a couple of little things. You know he did, yo.
Starting point is 00:40:23 Yeah, a couple of little things. I try more often. There we go. Now this weekend I took my mom's out. This was fun. We went to Nelly and Ja even even Chingy had a show. Sounds fire. That's fine. The job for just you and my dukes. Yeah, just me and my mom. Nice. Well, Nelly and Ja are two of her all-time favorite rappers. She had no clue. A little fast, though. So she already, I was like, yo, I'm taking you somewhere. When she saw the signs and realized what it was,
Starting point is 00:40:58 she was tripping. That's fire. And shout out to Ja. He hooked everything up for me. We get to our seats, perfect seats. I have to start with, I have to put respect on Eve. Eve's got a fire, but I, but no, let me just, when I think Eve music, I'm always thinking the, the hard wrapping, uh, you know, pit bull in the skirt. She called herself those records. No, she got Pop Smash.
Starting point is 00:41:25 I totally forgot it. That crowd, I want to say 60 to 70% of that crowd was there for Eve. I can see it. It fucked me up. Like, I'm like, yo, they on every word, every song, like, the people in our section was like, yo, we only came for Eve, we could go now.
Starting point is 00:41:44 Oh, wow. And she went second. Oh, sure. Josh said was amazing. We did go in the back. I had a chance to see my mom be a groupie, awkward, not but obviously act out like, you know, yeah, fandom. Yeah, and that shit was that was the highlight of my as you were there. No, Fandom. Yeah. And that shit was, that was the highlight of my day. Because you were there.
Starting point is 00:42:04 No. No, my mom still don't understand that, like, who her two sons are and, like, the things we can do for her. Right. She don't get it yet. Right. So when I get her in these spaces and I see how she acts around,
Starting point is 00:42:20 she's hugging Jah, hugging his wife, they taking pictures together, and she's like, this is the highlight of my night. Oh my god I'm just like that made me feel good. That's amazing. Hell yeah. It's like yo, I mean it's the streets. Yeah Some light. For sure. You know what I mean? It's regular shit, man. It's regular shit. Stop playing with him. But um and and you know, we just sat and enjoyed the rest of the show Who had the best set? Ja. Yeah. Ja I'm not I don't want to say nothing bad about Nelly,
Starting point is 00:42:47 but he, that was a bad set. OK. It was a bad set. What made it bad? Wrong song. Song selection. Song order. What I got from this, I could be wrong.
Starting point is 00:43:01 I didn't speak to anybody. But remember he got sued by Ali and the St. Louis. Yeah, what it felt because they're all on tour with him. Well, no Ali, but the rest of the lunatics were on tour with him. This almost felt like let me get you. Let me get y'all paid. Like it was highlighting them. Got it. He did records, he did his records, but he kind of spaced out his hits.
Starting point is 00:43:28 Got you. So not well put together. Yeah, yeah, not well put together. Just from what I expected. Like even, if I'm going to a Nelly show, and he's the headline, I think he had like an hour and a half set or something. I'm thinking if I have to put the list together,
Starting point is 00:43:46 it wouldn't have went anywhere like what I saw like even the the his finale record. I don't even know the song. I don't know what song that was like you played a lot of your smashes way too early in the set and it's tough. I'm up Ja, Ja is amazing. I've seen him, I've worked with him on some live stuff. He's incredible. From the intro, every single song was a slap.
Starting point is 00:44:15 That would be a headache if I was Nelly. Hell yeah. That's a tough following. And then you're coming out after Ja. Who looks phenomenal. And Eve, again. And Eve too. Tore this shit down.
Starting point is 00:44:25 And Nelly might be used to them country crowds. He's been getting his country back. Well, this crowd look like a lot of that, though. Yeah, but it's not that if Jah Rul and Eve are on the bill. And that's what I was, and Ching. From listening to you, I wasn't there, and I do want to see this show. It sounds like Nelly's show was still his,
Starting point is 00:44:45 a variation of what he was doing in front of his country people. Like where you put in some of the hip hop smashes. Hot In Here, where was Hot In Here at? Hot In Here might've been like fourth or fifth to last. That tells you where he might've been. But it wasn't the, to me Hot In Here is the last record you do.
Starting point is 00:45:01 Among black people for sure. Or close to, close to. I'm not mad if you follow up with something. What would you do last if you Nelly? Hiding here. I mean, I'm saying, because I would do hiding here. Dilemma, yeah. I want to buy with energy though.
Starting point is 00:45:14 That's too low, that's too, I want to, if I'm gonna be the one who made it. Most people close with their biggest record. I'm not sure what his is. I would imagine Dilemma's up there. It was up, like he did do Dilemma. But between country, grammar. Even like EI, all of them.
Starting point is 00:45:27 That EI was in the first. That should be early though. Yeah, that should be. I would want to start. What about Rob Rie? All early. Yeah, I would do Rob Rie. And it might just be tough for Nelly to do a 90-minute set.
Starting point is 00:45:38 Like 90 minutes is a lot of minutes. Yeah, he still rocked it. Let me be clear. I just didn't like it. That's a lot of Nelly for 90 minutes. 90 minutes is a long time. Cause the time on your records during the show is not the time of your record.
Starting point is 00:45:51 And again, it's him and the St. Lunatics. So he's bringing out the St. Lunatics and they're doing songs of their own. And I do like how he mixed that in the set. He did bring J. Quan out. That's dope. Oh, okay. I like that. I love out. That's dope. Oh, okay. I like that.
Starting point is 00:46:06 I love that. That place went absolutely crazy. Nelly should sound like he would lean more into bringing people out. And I just, like my mom, she was like, I ain't really like Nelly, is it me? And I was like, nah, I didn't either. Hold on, Nelly is still heat.
Starting point is 00:46:20 But he's not. Oh yeah. Be clear, still got heat. It's just, the show didn't go like we expected it to go. Especially coming off a job who just every song was, I thought about you Flip, cause he played the wonderful record with R. Kelly. Uh, uh, uh, uh.
Starting point is 00:46:38 Shit did damage in there. It did? I bet it did. I'm sure it did, yeah. It did, it did. That song works except for when it came out. For real, I remember him. He got a lot of flack for that record when it came out
Starting point is 00:46:52 because of all the 50 shit. 50 shit was gonna do it. And I was like, yo, Def Jam was excited about it. I was like, this record don't sound bad, but it was just tough during that time. That shit was great though. Great show, had a great time.
Starting point is 00:47:03 Shot the jobs, shot the time. Shot the moms too. Every song I played, every dance I did, anytime I was on the vacation, like just being me in my own zone, one of them fucking rude ass kids would say, oh I keep forgetting, he from y'all from the 19s. He from y'all from the 19s. Oh shit. He made the different centuries. Damn. And they're shaming it. Like we ain't even had color back then.
Starting point is 00:47:31 I'm so slow. I didn't even pick up on what they was saying. When it hit me, y'all are from the 19s? I'm going to smack the shit out of you kids. This niggas is born in 03, 06. God damn, with voices. Right, and opinions. Thoughts, right.
Starting point is 00:47:54 Opinions on shit. This is a whole new world we're in that we gotta share with these little motherfuckers. Anyway. From the 19s. That's crazy. You from the 19s. That's crazy. That is crazy. How would you be getting that? Then they were like, the 19s. That's crazy. You from the 19s. That's crazy. That is crazy.
Starting point is 00:48:06 How was your week in the 19s? Then they was like, which 19s? The 80s. Oh, way, oh, you're way back in the 19s. They treat that shit like it's the 50s. The way I be looking at, when Mark Perrins was born, that's how they look at us. That is disrespectful to hip hop.
Starting point is 00:48:24 That's how they look at us. You was talking to hip hop. That's how they look at us. You was talking about shows, I do want to shout out Tyler the Creator while I was going. He was like, yo, come out to Jersey. I was going, but I watched it out and out. Me and Park tried to make that happen. We're not Joe Budden, so it didn't work out. Nope.
Starting point is 00:48:38 Why didn't it hit me? Well, we hit Ian. Shouldn't have hit Ian. We shouldn't have hit Ian. I know, I read the New York Times piece that did put me in equal, Ian, like, call me. Call me. We don't like to bother you.
Starting point is 00:48:53 It's like you're on vacation, dawg. Oh, please, you fucking call me for the Josh's, shut up. What was before here? I was here? Yeah. I want to go to Ja. Me too. Hell of a fantasy football player Ja is too.
Starting point is 00:49:08 That shit was wild. Shout out to Fantasy Football. Coming up. Counting down. Counting down. Mark, do you do Fantasy Football? Nah, I don't watch football. You don't watch football?
Starting point is 00:49:16 You don't watch football? You don't watch football? You and... He watches PBS and all that shit to get his name in there. PBS, CNN. Actually, there is a talk to be had about He watches PBS and all that shit to get his name in there. PBS, CNN. Actually, there is a talk to be had about, there is a talk to be had, Mark, I'm sure you have some input about the dude, the homeboy that was walking around Park Ave yesterday
Starting point is 00:49:38 with the assault rifle. Yeah. Shit. You know, I was like a block from him. Oh, really? It was me and Ian. Yeah shit, you know, I was like a block from him. Oh really it was what me. Well, so what what happened was we were so those people that don't know there was a Shooter we can cover later. You need to talk about now. Fuck it. We're here. I think it's really important
Starting point is 00:49:55 But in New York City, there was a there was a sadly a mass shooting a guy mentally ill was Was he into a building, I think it was 345 Park Avenue. And opened- Blackstone building. Blackstone building. Apparently, according to what I've heard most recently,
Starting point is 00:50:12 he thought he was going to the NFL building. Which is there. Which is there. He got up on the wrong floor. I should say he went to the NFL office. He was in the right building, wrong floor. But he ended up opening fire, killed a New York City police officer,
Starting point is 00:50:24 Bangladeshi dude, family, the whole thing, and injured other people before taking himself out by gun. It was absolutely tragic. Ian and I were in New York shooting the Mark and Ian show, and we shot at 10- The Ian and Mark show. Tomato tomato. And we were at the Patreon offices. I'll tell you about that later.
Starting point is 00:50:48 He took you to Patreon? We did have some talks. Don't worry about it. And we had a five hour break because Ian doesn't have a scheduled meeting. So my son was with me. And he's a crazy person, so I couldn't take him to the meeting.
Starting point is 00:51:02 Sure. And so my daughter actually came up from Philly and watched him in my office and when I went back to meet up with them she said let's go to Park Avenue for lunch. There's like a little market right up there. Yeah. And we were going up there and we literally would have been right where the active shooter was and the only reason we weren't was because I was
Starting point is 00:51:17 walking up Madison Avenue with my crazy-ass son and as I was trying to pull him out of a store a bird shit on me. Good luck. Yeah. That's what that... It never feels like it. Whoever said... I think a store, a bird shit on me. Good luck. Yeah. It never feels like it. Whoever said, I think some dickhead got bird shit on him, so he just wanted to console him,
Starting point is 00:51:30 and that just became like an old-wise thing. A bird's blind because on vacation, while I was sitting down, a bird, if I'm sitting right here, a bird ramped, dead smack into the glass maybe right here from where my head is and ended his whole existence. Yeah, it rains everywhere.
Starting point is 00:51:51 I'm like bird shit out here, remember? Yeah, right here on the balcony. Yeah, birds will do that sometimes. They do it because they can see good, they can't see the glass. They don't see glass. They see colors. I tell you that thought I got shot, anyway.
Starting point is 00:52:02 Sometimes you get it. So anyways, the bird shot shit it on my elbow and I hate everything Germany, so I I got shot. Anyway. Sometimes I get it. So anyways, so the bird shot on my, shitted on my elbow and I hate everything Jeremy. So I like ran into a store or a restaurant and was like, yo, can you, can I please use your bathroom? And she was kind of like, no. I was like, what bird shit? I'm like, oh yeah, go ahead, use it.
Starting point is 00:52:13 And after I did that, I was like, it's 95 degrees. I don't feel like walking on 45th and Park. Let me just see what the menu is. I looked at the menu and the menu was fine. So we ended up staying at 37th and Madison. So it was good luck. And eating lunch. Yeah. That's my point. And eating lunch there. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:25 That's my point, and had that bird not shit on me, we would have been right there, and God knows what would have happened. So it was like just the stroke of luck that we missed it. So I feel, today I'm feeling very, very fortunate to be alive. Not to say I would have got hit anyway, but you just never know, but you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:52:38 I wouldn't be in that close. I wouldn't be nowhere near it. Yeah. Because it's terrifying. Yes, it is. My heart goes out to everybody who was there and had to witness that. My heart goes out to that police was there and had to witness that. My heart goes out to that police officer
Starting point is 00:52:46 that lost his life. Absolutely. That's awful. He was literally trying to say, you know when you're trying to save people, whatever I think about police officers as a job, there's human beings. And when you're making your job
Starting point is 00:52:58 to keep people out of harm's way and you get killed, especially by someone, you know, something that is so senseless, it's heartbreaking. My heart goes out to his family and everybody. Yeah, no, it was horrible all around, all around. There's many conversations to be had. There's the mental health aspect of this.
Starting point is 00:53:18 They're saying that he left a note. Saying that, hey, the NFL and Roger Goodell and CTE are responsible for this act. Yeah he was 27? He was young? 27, yeah. Drove from Vegas. Drove cross country. Vegas to New York. Had a Vegas permit for his weapon, had a bulletproof vest on and ultimately took himself out. I always hate those stories too. and ultimately took himself out. I always hate those stories too,
Starting point is 00:53:47 when you're taking people away from their families and then you take yourself out. I said that last night. I never liked that. It feels cowardly to me, and I know it's a mental health issue, I shouldn't think about it that way, but just the human part of me is like.
Starting point is 00:53:59 That's where you're conflicted. That's where it gets tough. Yeah, it's like fuck that guy. Cause you want to believe that, I mean, if you believe in the mental health crisis, I don't know how you hear the story and not acknowledge that that is a real mental health problem to drive cross country and commit this type of act.
Starting point is 00:54:21 Yeah, it's doing on it for however many days probably. Right, just straight. It says like 30 some 37 hours or something. Yeah. You know you didn't do that. I need to write a note. I need to write a note. And then there's this new thing, not new thing, let me not say that, but since Luigi there seem to be more cases of people attempting to do some just horrific act in the name of justice. Yes, in some sort. Right. So, how do you deal with that?
Starting point is 00:54:54 That's not just you want to let the mental health people know that there are people that are aware of this whole CTE thing and are handling it the way it should be. Listen, Calvin Johnson, one of the greatest all time, retired early. Will Smith did the movie about it. There is some awareness on it, but there's way too much money made in football for them to ever really give a fuck about this.
Starting point is 00:55:18 In the movie, in the Will Smith movie, was it Concussion? I think it was. Concussion. At the end, they said, like the way the movie ends, it comes up that the NFL agreed on something and they would, part of the settlement was that they never have to officially acknowledge CTE.
Starting point is 00:55:38 Right. Like they're able to keep their hands clean. Yep. Yeah, we acknowledge this, but officially we can still distance ourselves from it. Exactly. It's too much money being made. I think in a note, they said, he requested for his brain to be tested. Yes, he said, CTE study my brain, please. I'm sorry. That was his quote.
Starting point is 00:55:54 My only thing with that is I believe them. I believe you. I believe that you believe that this is a mental health CTE thing going on. I got it. Stop playing. Right, well that's gonna be my point is that while it's fair and reasonable to criticize the NFL for how they handle it, because they've handled it horribly historically
Starting point is 00:56:16 and don't treat players right in general, guaranteed contracts, all that, there is also the side of the players that still want to play despite having multiple concussions. I see it with Tua. You know what I mean? And I can't blame him if you're going to, in his case, be looking at a quarter of a
Starting point is 00:56:31 billion dollars in salary alone. See, that's the thing I argue about with Ish when we talk about the billionaire thing is like, well, yeah, there will be people in other countries that will do bad jobs because they have no other choice. Right? Your kid will do child labor. Because the NFL doesn't have the guaranteed contract, you're put in a situation where you have to choose
Starting point is 00:56:47 between making this money or getting your brains fried. Like, they shouldn't be allowed to make that choice. You know what I mean? And the way to do that, not to infantilize them, but just to say, hey, let's give people guaranteed contract. Let's give people healthcare. Let's give people things they need. It's a fucked up system.
Starting point is 00:57:02 On a different note, or maybe a slightly brighter note, this weekend I did make it to Cleveland, which normally isn't fun, but I had a, no disrespect to Cleveland, I just normally am in and out. But I got to spend 24 hours there almost, and it was the 10th commemoration of the movement for Black Lives.
Starting point is 00:57:19 Which sounds crazy to me that people started running around saying Black Lives Matter 10 years ago. Like the time is moving. Mike Brown was killed in August 9, 2014. So that's 11 years ago. Y'all remember? So, but it was good to be somewhere with a bunch of organizers and activists
Starting point is 00:57:35 where nobody died, where we were there to commemorate the work and to celebrate. And the movement for Black Lives isn't the Black Lives Matter organization. It's all the grassroots movements around the country that have been fighting. So the ones local, the ones national, it was hundreds of activists. It was kind of like a family reunion, seeing people who you usually only see on the protest line.
Starting point is 00:57:56 And it was like a fancy affair, people had their best clothes on, people were performers. It was so dope. It was a good time. I was supposed to go see the Cash Money, the 30th anniversary tour going on, they were in Cleveland that night, like a block from where I was. But I had such a good time with the activists and the organizers, and we were just vibing,
Starting point is 00:58:16 I didn't even walk over to the show. I regret not seeing the show, but it was such a good time, and just let people know the movement is still alive, and people are still fighting, and it's just a lot of good shit happening in the world. It's not just bad news. People are really making changes out there. So it was just good to see. I know it's good to just be in Cleveland for a long time and just see, I got to go
Starting point is 00:58:33 out and see people and see the culture a little bit. Cleveland's dope if you can actually get time moving around out there. It's great, man. I still wish I could have seen the show. Because I heard some people that I saw. I bumped into Chris and Neaf in the hall in the lobby. And I didn't realize they were performing there. I didn't realize who else was open. Someone told me GZ was there. But then I heard he wasn't.
Starting point is 00:58:51 And that's what kind of made me stay where I was, too. Like, if GZ ain't there, I'm not going. Got it. Just because that would have been like the extra piece. But it was dope, man. I heard the show was great. Seen Walker has SeaWorld lit. What?
Starting point is 00:59:02 He saw that shit. Yeah. Oh, G-Wad. He turned it up. Yeah. He got a whole catalog of that. Yeah. Like, that's one that you'd walk with.
Starting point is 00:59:09 Walker has workers lit. Yeah. SeaWorld and put the whales. Put someone special in that nigga name. We got SeaWorld. We weren't familiar with your game, yo. We kind of clowned SeaWorld at first. No, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:59:21 We did not. We are a team, Joe Budden. We are a team, Joe Budden. We are a team, Joe Budden. I'm only a team when it's convenient for me as a man. I didn't clown C-World. I knew them niggas had a bag. And if you just keep going over the endless,
Starting point is 00:59:35 and white people like the slaps. And you're getting the right people with slaps. That's my thing. And the first video we saw was Ying Yang Twins. And people tried to make it seem like, oh, because you're doing C-World, you fell off. But I'm like, hey they got slaps. And the people are fucking with these slaps.
Starting point is 00:59:49 Yeah, that's all that matters. Those people wasn't there for the TVT era. Yeah, it worked. TVT ran this shit. Yeah, it sure did. Wait till Lil Jonky. I don't care how they look today. There's one of them.
Starting point is 01:00:00 Stop, I tell you. No, no, no. That's my man. You're not talking like it. No, but I said this when I went through, I almost cried the first time I went to the Millennium Tour and them niggas came out. I cried. Like I love hip hop too much.
Starting point is 01:00:13 Bro, I can't see them. I'm nigga, hell arms. He was a, with Stonewall. All right. Fuck it. What? This is me. This is me.
Starting point is 01:00:21 This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me.
Starting point is 01:00:29 This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me.
Starting point is 01:00:37 This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. This is me. But we were questioning. The internet looking at Fat Joe performing at Sea World
Starting point is 01:00:45 and then looking at Waka performing at Sea World, I don't think they should be compared. They should not be compared. Waka's set is for pandemonium. And turn. Mosh pit chaos. Yes, yes. True, exactly.
Starting point is 01:00:57 Fat Joe chilling a little bit. Yeah, he's here. Anyway. Sea World got the bag. Yo, speaking of shows though, I looked while I was down there at the Nelly and Josh show, I looked to see what else was coming, Bone Thugs in Harmony, Three 6 Mafia, Tech 9, DJ Quik.
Starting point is 01:01:14 I was like, and Quik too? And Quik. I want to be in all of those. No, that's one show. You always say that. That's one show. That's one show. Oh no.
Starting point is 01:01:23 I was like, I got to let Park still on. Yeah, we might have to go down there. We got say that. That's one show. That's one show. Oh no. I was like, I gotta let Parks know. Yeah. Yeah, so we out. We might have to go down there. We gotta make up for this Tyler shit. We out. Y'all see Quick still shading Dre on the internet and liked it.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Mm-hmm. He shading him? Yeah. He can't always shade him. Somebody said, Quick is who y'all think Dre is. Something along them lines. And you know, just a quick little double tap.
Starting point is 01:01:43 Just a little like. A little double tap. Shout out to Quik, man One of the most underrated people Quik and J.B. want to let niggas know That's why I'm watching all y'all get the name for all this shit, but I'm really that
Starting point is 01:01:55 And y'all don't know Yeah Shout out to both of them And now it's time for my favorite part of the show, Prize Picks! Oh, hey Marcus, talk as can be. Don't even pretend like a, just a smile would be nice. I apologize.

Starting point is 01:03:55 Now it's time for an uncomfortable part of the show you guys. Uh oh. Uh oh. Oh man. Ice. Yes sir. I do have to step to you. Step to me. Step correctly though. The streets are saying that you've lost a few points on your Chris Brown license as a Breezy fan. I was in Turks,
Starting point is 01:04:27 just listening to the pod. We ain't talking about the record. That falls on nobody but the Breeze. And that rhymes with Breeze. It does, it rhymes, it rhymes. You were the only person. Now I was in Turkey, I waited up for this record. Because I heard the snippet. Boy. And when it hit, it hit.
Starting point is 01:04:50 It did. It was on repeat for me. I argue that this might be the best R&B song released this summer. The record is amazing. This might be Chris Brown's best record since No Guidance. Oh wow. Damn.
Starting point is 01:05:02 This is Chris Brown with one of those and he's trying to play it cute and subtle. Like, yo, I'll let y'all hear this. Y'all was requesting this one, so I let it out. No, no, no, and that is a lie. He knew. So. Oh, Lord. We gotta do this real quick. New Breezy, Inga!
Starting point is 01:05:39 Ah, right in time on the summer tip. I'm gonna use all these rockin' But you call me toxic And you make it easy for me to believe in lovin' You better believe it, cause baby I'm with you on something It's better than a dick you had before Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, pause, pause, pause right there. And that's what lets you know that this is one of those, yo, when Chris get on and just start dirty macking verse one, no, he'd say, yo, this dick is better than the dick you had before. And he tried to croon it. So he just before and he tried to croon it so Your fairy tale under your spell I am She gets your mail, oh and the trial will be
Starting point is 01:06:47 You screamin' yeah, I can't come for help from here You can't call for help from here Even though that line can be tricky now If I say, that line can be tricky now But when you add that consent Oh, stop When you got that consent You screamin' yeah, I can't call for help from here.
Starting point is 01:07:05 Folding it out. Oh my God. Oh man. Oh love. A few things about this record. I already told you how amazing I think this record is. This record is it. And I'll, listen, I'll get vulnerable for a minute.
Starting point is 01:07:23 Josie came up here, behind the scenes, she played the record with her and Chris Brown. It was absolute heat. It was absolute heat, Jossie and Chris Brown. She sent it to me, I had it, I'm not supposed to tell nobody about it. I let that slide. Then I went to the studio with Berg. Berg started playing crazy records. One of them was Chris Brown and Janay It's heat. I told him to send it to me. I have it not full talk. I'm not supposed to talk about
Starting point is 01:07:55 So here in him do this Knowing that those other records exist He's about to do something different this boy yeah and I like the timing of the drop the US tour starts with today mmm so yeah let me put this one out he know what time you know he know what time it is with this record I'm telling you also I want to say if you are calling Bryson Tiller to feature on your R&B song and it's hot outside, be careful. Be very cautious. Bryson Tiller is my type of toxic.
Starting point is 01:08:34 He's a real adult 40 year old type of toxic. You know how toxic you got to be the out toxic Chris Brown. Bryson took off. Bryson ate. Clock that. What did you? You got clocked. You got clocked. Listen. What you for? No, no, no, no, no, no. This song made me go back to Bryson album, old Chris albums. You just know that a Usher remix is coming to this. You just know Usher remix is coming to this you just know us your remix is coming to this What you want to do I already let you go free at night. See that's a different level of Dirty Mac. That's not, yo my dick is better than the dick you have. That's, yo you can
Starting point is 01:09:35 get away from him. Come on. Hey you ain't gotta leave him. But after round 12, oh my god Anytime a nigga stopped the record to breathe if if a nigga put breathing in the record, he took off. You know? Dog, there's a bridge on this record. It seemed like this record would end right here, two minutes, 30 seconds like the kids do. There's a bridge on this, it's a bitch, it's four minutes long, the song. Oh shit. That sound like ancient-
Starting point is 01:10:36 Song from the 19th. 19th. A song from the fucking 19th. One May for the day. Four minutes and 10 seconds. You could really fuck to this motherfucker Listen Chris breezy Chris breezy. Hey real niggas. No, this is right up there with warm embrace This is up there I'm done after this, I'm done after this, I promise. Oh God, this is crazy, this is sick.
Starting point is 01:11:12 My girl gotta be tired of this with me. She gotta be tired of this with me. This was my only break from them fucking kids. Waking up at 6 in the morning to go outside with my coffee and this Chris Brown record. This record is out of here. Absolutely gone. Let me say my word for it. Let me say my word for it. I like it a lot. Let me say my word for it. It doesn't even matter. This is hot. This is hot. I like it a lot. Gone, gone, gone this record.
Starting point is 01:11:38 Shout out to Chris Brown, and Jason Tiller. Y'all did it. Are you crazy? John Brison tiller y'all did it. Are you crazy? Puffs in the eyes out freaky ass What is wrong with that nigga man? Yo take his tablet Oh you niggas know, I see. That's a wild way to hit the scene. With the eyes. Just let niggas know I'm around. He already said niggas would talk to his man.
Starting point is 01:12:17 He said niggas would talk to your man. Oh, Tore? Yeah, tell him. That nigga switched his whole shit out. He went from having the Afro like carrot to motherfucking braids nigga. He said, ah yeah, we see you nigga. I wanna big up the Freddie Gibbs album
Starting point is 01:12:34 with Alchemist, Alfredo too, but I do wanna G-check the internet as well while I was gone, I was reading. That includes us. I don't know if it includes y'all. I put a stop to that one up here I thought. I don't know if it includes y'all. I put a stop to that one up here I thought. I don't know about that. Y'all said that.
Starting point is 01:12:48 You put a kind of stop on it. I know, I put a stop to it. I said it doesn't have the depth of clips. The internet is like y'all crazy. Internet, rest in peace, Dallas. Internet. It's a combat jack. Slow down.
Starting point is 01:13:02 Relax. It's okay. It's a very good album. It's a very good album. I like it. I think Alchemist showed his ass. Oh, D. They both showed their ass.
Starting point is 01:13:13 Both did. I don't know that this is better than Alfredo One. I don't. I like this better than Alfredo One. I like, yeah. I like. I don't know that it's better than Alfredo One. I gotta listen to it some more.
Starting point is 01:13:23 I don't know if it's better than the Chains in June album that Alchemist also put out this year. I have to go back to that. If you wanna keep it 2025. I have to go back to that. I have to go back to it too. Chains is somehow underrated. But one thing I can tell you is
Starting point is 01:13:40 I see what y'all are trying to do with this and the Clips album and stop. Yeah, you don't gotta do that. Stop it. Stop it. Stop it. Whoever's doing it. I don't know who's doing it because I was in Turks.
Starting point is 01:13:50 It's really good. I was in Turks. It's very good. It's really good. And it's a little bit apples and oranges. This is a little bit more straight ahead, just kind of rap and hip hop shit. That's what I love about it. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:14:00 That's what I love about it. People want that. Yeah, for sure. That's what I want. That's why they would put it. And not to say that ClipZone is not hip hop, I'm just saying this one's a little more freestyle-y. I'm not pretty for the internet. If you want hands on the wheel,
Starting point is 01:14:13 crossing the state line, nigga, dumb diddy, dumb diddy, dumb, the fuck are you talking about here? Well, let me ask you, if we went old school source style, are you saying ClipZone's five mics? I don't know, it's five. Hot take that's not such a hot take,
Starting point is 01:14:27 I have that Clips album winning album of the year at the Grammys. Album of the year or rap album of the year? What, rap album something. Rap album, one of them. No, no, no, not album with Taylor Swift, no, no. I'm talking about rap album. That Clips album is winning album of the year.
Starting point is 01:14:40 I don't know that. And this podcast. It's gotta go against Kendrick. It's gotta go against G&X. I wouldn't give a fuck who it gotta go against. I wouldn't give a fuck who it gotta go against. I wouldn't give a fuck who it gotta go against. They didn't shower Kendrick with enough shit. You might be right.
Starting point is 01:14:51 By the time we get to next year's Grammys. And the movie they doing. The Kendrick show should be over. Should be. We done gave them everything already. Yeah. We did G&X. We got it.
Starting point is 01:15:02 This album I think continues. This podcast is run of hosting the rap album of the year. Winners with Killer Mike and who won last year? We had them up here too, whoever won last year. Don't you, don't you. Yeah, yeah. Don't you, don't you. Yeah, we will continue our streak
Starting point is 01:15:16 of having the award winners up here. That Clips album is winning. It's a really good album. I could see that. I don't know. I could see it not even just in terms of how good the album is and I'm not, again, I don't want to step on, it is an amazing album, it is the best rap album to me,
Starting point is 01:15:30 but it's a lot of politics that go involved with Grammy, and the moves that they're making. That's it, so that's why I see that. You know how I might be rolling with this? When I was at my white people party this weekend in the woods, and they're playing all the rock, independent rock shit that's slapping, all they want to do is stop and talk to me about the clips
Starting point is 01:15:45 Oh That's it really is a cultural moment. It is yeah, it is people are talking about this It was the first album my son played when we got in Turks I heard that album in Turks just driving around there are people discussing this they still doing all the grassroots shit They are block parties. They popping up everywhere. They got the Chappelle joint. I think that, yeah, the Chappelle, I think that they did late night, fuckin', they sat with one of them niggas. I also think this is the trade-off for the Hov-verse.
Starting point is 01:16:11 We don't get a Hov-verse, but Hov is making a phone call behind the scenes. You are, this is a Roc Nation release, he's back there calling somebody. Steven Victor is back there calling somebody. We see clips and think street drug dealer. No, them niggas is... This is different.
Starting point is 01:16:24 Yeah, yeah. This is very different. And they might bring Stevie out on stage, do birds don't sing. Lenny Kravitz. Yeah. Yeah. It feels like we're talking about two different things.
Starting point is 01:16:34 Like, is it gonna win album of the year? Yeah, I will put my money on that. I would say yeah. But is it the best album is the question. And an album of the year always isn't the best album. If I were given, to use the mic reference again, I feel like this is a four and a half mic album, the Clips album.
Starting point is 01:16:48 I'm with you on that. I wouldn't die on the hill if somebody said five, but I think it's a four and a half album. I think Freddie Gibbs' album is four and a half too. I think Freddie's a four. But if somebody said four, if somebody said four, I wouldn't die on that hill either. I think they're in the same conversation.
Starting point is 01:16:59 I think part of me being excited about the Freddie Gibbs album is also just so that people appreciate the moment we're in where a lot of good hip hop is coming out. Finally. And it's like for me even telling people, even when I, because I tweeted out, yo this might be my pick for album of the year Freddie Gibbs as opposed to the Clips.
Starting point is 01:17:13 And I said I love the Clips album. It's because I want people to listen to all this dope shit that's out here at the same time and not just that one album. Even though the Clips album is amazing. Well I smiled to myself after I listened to the Freddie Gibbs album because it was like, yo for maybe the first time in my life I think all the rappers I fuck with are winning.
Starting point is 01:17:30 Yeah. The rappers that I enjoy are doing a hell of a job out there. I see. So I'm not mad at none of it. Everyone. Everybody. Everybody. I don't think I've ever been able to say that before. I don't think I've ever been able to say that before. I like Freddie's album. It's not in the same league as a Clips Pharrell album to me. Not in the same league? No, it's not in the same league. To me, it's just the songs don't have quite the same depth as the Clips album.
Starting point is 01:17:57 I think that's right, but for me- The rapping is not on par either. The rapping is not on par. He was getting shit off. The rapping, I disagree. The rapping is not on par. Freddie Gibbs is my man man. What them boys did on that album is that should be in a museum somewhere. Freddie Gibbs is a great rapper. What them boys did was
Starting point is 01:18:16 great rappers elevating and it should be away. It should be away. You thoroughly listen to him. Yes. Yes. He's wrapping his ass off. Nothing on there is malice verse on POV. None is on there is malice verse on FICO. If we go in verse for verse, there's nothing on there like some of those clip words. I'm glazed. I don't give a fuck. I think the best verses on Clips album are better than the best verses on Alfredo too. But I think if you look at that, like the average quality of verse, I think. One album has choruses. That's gonna be the difference for me. One album has choruses. One album has songs.
Starting point is 01:18:49 But again, that's a certain thing. That's not the shit I want sometimes. Sometimes I want that old school rockin' soundbombin' type. I get why you fuck with it so much, cause the first three or four songs is giving me, it's a lot of jazz. It's the second half of the album, that's where it kicks up.
Starting point is 01:19:05 Me too. That JID verse, woo. JID, who we have coming here soon, to ask him about this absolute tear that he has been on. Oh good, good. Is he ready for that next round? I think he's here next week. So we get to talk to him.
Starting point is 01:19:15 Good. Gas Station Sushi. I still love her. That whole second. I love the second half, you're right. I fuck with the first half for a different reason than I fuck with the second half, but they both. But together.
Starting point is 01:19:24 Together they make it great. Yeah, I'm with the first half for a different reason than I fuck with the second half, but they both are made. Together they make it great, yeah. I'm with Mark. This makes a great album. I just go back and press play and just let it go. I listen to it all the way when I'm flying. I listen to it all the way home. I listen to it twice the way home from a long ass drive. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:19:37 Long ass drive. But I go back and forth between the two, which is a very happy place for me. Yeah. Dog, motherfucking. One, two, three. This one? Gibbs album. Yo, and that's the other thing too I'm noticing.
Starting point is 01:19:49 All the albums I'm really enjoying do make me go right back to Mobb Deep. After Herb, Gas Station, Super. Come on. Oh, god. Oh, man. Oh, man. Oh, man. I think my favorites are gas station sushi and empanadas Which one you said
Starting point is 01:20:32 And and Salada and Salada and bananas I'm just my favorites lemon pepper steppers I'm gonna get a skinny skinny suit part two live up to step is my shit Yeah, she's just she lav Like bro, this album just gold. That was crazy. It really is. The minute when it's four, five, six, seven, and eight is like, oh.
Starting point is 01:20:52 Yeah. But after this, somebody not rapping. And I'm not mad at a nice quality. How long is this shit? 37 minutes? Yeah, 37 minutes. 48. 48 minutes.
Starting point is 01:21:02 Why does mine say 37? You got that one. You're missing some songs, man. Download all the songs. Oh, show complete album. Yeah, yeah, hit that does mine say 37? You got that one, you're missing some songs. Download all the songs. All the songs. Yeah, yeah, hit that complete album. I don't like that one. That's why he only missed three tracks.
Starting point is 01:21:11 Yeah, he missed the best three tracks probably. That's weird to me. I still love her. I love her. That's my shit. That's your priority. What I'm saying. Oh shit was cool.
Starting point is 01:21:22 Who are the younger crowd catering more to? Freddie Gibbs or the Clips album? Maybe neither. This ain't for neither. This ain't for neither one. No, but I have seen some of the younger crowd gravitate to the Clips album. I mean, I've seen.
Starting point is 01:21:34 Or because it's so visible right now. Yeah, they make it to that move. Oh, that's what everybody talking about. Okay, cool, let me attack. I've seen that. Freddie Gris, I heard about the album from you guys. Well, that was my point when I was talking about the Clips album, when everybody said, this is going to change things, I'm like, no, it's not. You did say that. Freddie Gris, I heard about the album from you guys. Well that was my point when I was talking about the Clips album, when everybody said it's gonna change things, I'm like no it's not. The Clips album, because of the marketing,
Starting point is 01:21:51 is getting visible everywhere. Yeah. Gibbs album, unless you are a real fan checking for this, you're not gonna hear this album. To be fair, in the closeness of their release, I don't know if they had time to learn some things from the way that Clips handled it. So when you guys compare that. Although they ran around crazy for the chains album. When you three compare the album, you're basically talking about rapping and quality wise.
Starting point is 01:22:15 Correct. Beats rhymes. So we would acknowledge that the Clips had a bigger impact than. Yeah, yeah, it's not even close. Of course, it's not even close. That's why I'm saying the Grammys, they got it. I don't think we're gonna see that impact again
Starting point is 01:22:27 for the rest of the year. Bro, just clips, yo, just clips announcing an album before anything drops is a moment just because. It ain't this shit. 15 years. 20 years of brand equity. Got it. No, I understand that. You're relying on some, them performing
Starting point is 01:22:42 at that block party look like like they stuck to who they were. Yeah. Like it still means something to me that I haven't seen them with a streamer or they stand far away from you streamers that respect y'all are not the audience. That's not what we're doing right here. My people not watching streams. Right. But again, no disrespect malice on FICO both of them niggas on POV. Yeah
Starting point is 01:23:07 Yeah They got some verses you would have hit rap genius for like you you want to really? Yeah, like it's and the records. I didn't like it first now. I love which one The dream on it Even though I love I just don't like the opening verse I but I didn't like that song things consider my mama cheek I miss it I want to kill those verses were crazy yeah I didn't like that was the one when that we were before we were recording us like adding like some of the Pharrell stuff
Starting point is 01:23:42 that was the one yeah that was the one I had to skip. That was the only that's the only song. But now I appreciate the change of pace that it provides sure on this project. The Gibbs album is missing a birds don't sing to me. That's that's exactly what I said. I think that's fair like if he get in there and tries to do that I have no doubt that he can do that absolutely because he's one of the best. I still love her it was a little bit of that. I still love her. Not to that level, but. Yeah, yeah, I still love her. That was his dad.
Starting point is 01:24:08 Yeah. I said, Gibbs want to come up here too. He should come up. Gibbs is welcome. I do. There's a list of people that are- Al's been supposed to come up here, by the way. And send a beat pack.
Starting point is 01:24:17 There's a list of people that are welcome anywhere Joe Budden exists. I told him the same thing. Anywhere that I call home is home for a few people. Like I seen Ransom Kiki in the comments with some nigga that, some nigga that, hey, you gotta let you up there. Ransom talking about Kiki.
Starting point is 01:24:37 No nigga, don't Kiki. You know. Yeah. You know. Yeah, nah. I feel about you. And at 44, about to be 45, I don't have time to hide feelings when I love people. Work.
Starting point is 01:24:50 Especially all us that came up together, Rand. No one is in Jersey. And Rand's been up here. Yeah. Come again. Yeah, he should be here. Come again. God damn it.
Starting point is 01:24:59 Yeah, especially. Healthy ass, cardio, running ass niggas. These niggas. These niggas is looking extra good out here. Pause. Health is what extra good out here pause That's when you're doing more than that 15 minutes on the fucking treadmill. I'm doing that's why I told They're running for now John his man's at the shot said all right I'm going to the gym like y'all not gonna keep doing this. I think it's 50 freeze You should go to the gym ish. I tell every week. He should go to the gym
Starting point is 01:25:22 I'm off my vacay body Said like you actually have some muscle. You're not actually you have more muscles on the arm You should go to the gym. I'd finish that too. I look like shit because I'm more of my vacay body. No, no, no. Actually, when you got up, I actually said like, you actually have some muscle, not actually, you have more muscles on your arm. That's sharp. There's no shade. My girl's always saying it's shady. It is shady.
Starting point is 01:25:32 Oh shit, look at your arms! No, there's my muscle tone in, but I can see what you and Cory and I are doing every week is working. It just feels good. Yeah, it's good for your mental health too. Yep, that's the only thing keeping me going some weeks is working out, honest to God. And once you get into the routine of it,
Starting point is 01:25:47 it's not hard, yo. Yeah. It's more hard when you miss a day. Yeah. You be tight. And it's made for niggas in their 40s. This is our time. It is.
Starting point is 01:25:59 It's our time to do that shit. Yeah. Anywho, who are y'all waiting for? I don't know if there's gonna be a surprise release or not but it's no Allegra. Oh. Actually Chris Brown. But I'm talking about like in terms of like like we've gotten Gibbs now we got because the first half of the year I was like this is a drought. I don't I wasn't happy with it. It was slow. Yeah now I'm like for the second half who do y'all want to hear from it y'all? That's plausible. Personally Meek. I'm still waiting for Meek. I want this Roddy Ricch Navy album to drop. I don't know what's going on. This is like the I still, personally, Meek, I'm still waiting for Meek.
Starting point is 01:26:27 I want this Roddy Ricch Navy album to drop. I don't know what's going on. This is like the fifth date. I don't know who's scared to drop this album, but just something that I'm personally looking forward to, those two projects for sure. Because Meek has been working on some shit off of the Friday feature and stuff like that. I'm ready to hear a Meek album.
Starting point is 01:26:45 Same. And I'm always, even though I think he's retired, I'm always gonna say when you bring these conversations up, I still want a FAB project. I do too. Yeah, we know. I'm always going. I feel like somebody from New York is supposed to unpack
Starting point is 01:26:59 whatever's going on with FAB. I'm gonna always say it. And nobody's doing it. So I feel like it's my job. It should be you. It should be you, really. FAB, a month ago. I spoke to him when Berg was here. He said I said yo nigga, the fuck is up come up here, your ass up here and he said yeah, but me to come up there actually the man in fact, I'm talking
Starting point is 01:27:18 clothes on right now. I make it up here. He didn't come and I ain't called right, but he should come yeah pause. He should make his way up here. I don't know what Right. But he should come. Yeah. Pause. He should make his way up here. I don't know what's going on with him. I'm still waiting for the whole slate of Mass Appeal records. Nas, Priem, Ghostface. That's the shit I'm most excited about. I think there was a Big L project.
Starting point is 01:27:37 It's the group, Big L project, yeah. I think there's a Mobb Deep. That I'm a little worried about. A Mobb Deep and Alchemist project, I think. I don't know if it's this year, but I know that's happening. Yeah snow summer Janae Mmm snow summer Janae. I'm on my arm be shit. I don't know if J. Cole stuck so much If there if I wouldn't mind that I'm not necessarily waiting on that right now Just gonna want an R&B mold but I love that. If an elite rapper is gonna drop something
Starting point is 01:28:05 once out of nowhere, I'm hoping it's J. Cole. That's who I would, that seems reasonable, like, J. Cole ain't gonna put one out this summer, probably. I do think that we're owed a whole verse. A whole verse, yes. Yeah. Just a verse. A verse.
Starting point is 01:28:16 We're owed a whole verse. It was supposed to be on that Clips album, but y'all got it. It was supposed to be there, yeah. It was, god damn right, it was supposed to be there. I wouldn't be mad at Deluxe, Clips, and Kendrick albums too, for nothing. I would.
Starting point is 01:28:28 Clips say they don't do Deluxe, but I think with this you, yeah, I don't wanna hear that. Call us up, we'll do it. Do it Deluxe. Call, yeah, give it another name, whatever you wanna call it. I mean they did say like they're going right back in. I wouldn't do it either.
Starting point is 01:28:39 I wouldn't do it either. You wouldn't Deluxe it? Not this. Not this. You call it something else. This is a statement. They making an something else. This is a statement. They making an art statement. It is.
Starting point is 01:28:48 This album is the album. Even the movement, everything around it. I'm not diluting it with songs that could've went other records for Virgin Megastore, whatever the fuck. This is my art. This is how I'm presenting it. And that's that. The system will not force me to do it another way
Starting point is 01:29:08 because I'll make more money. So I like them taking that stand. And everything, every move that they make now is kinda showing that I'm not playing the system game. So yeah, yeah. Call it shit or something, call it B-Side. I don't care, call it what you want. Call it whatever you want.
Starting point is 01:29:21 Well that's the thing, the album, it makes you say hopefully there's not another long hiatus. Like I'll take an EP. Well that's what they, you see what they said. They ready to get right back to it now. Great. And yo, with a lot of, with the independence comes the, yo I can drop now whenever I feel like it.
Starting point is 01:29:37 Some people it's motivation there. Instead I have to play label games and oh I can't get this cleared, I can't drop, I can't do this. Now I got freedom. Yeah, I want to go back out there. How come I bought the Freddie Gibbs album and was missing songs? That's weird.
Starting point is 01:29:50 I don't like the Apple system. Sometimes it'd be weird. Yeah, sometimes it'd be weird. Yeah, I don't like that. Especially if you buy it like the second it drops. Sometimes it'd be funny. All right, I have to go listen to the songs I missed. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:00 You might feel different. No, I won't. You won't feel different. No, I won't feel different. You may give a quarter mic a head or something. You know what I'm saying? You may. Yo, dog, that Cliffs album. No, I won't. You won't feel different. No, I won't feel different. You may give a quarter of a mic a head or something. You know what I'm saying? You may. Yo, dog, that Cliffs album really is just different for me.
Starting point is 01:30:09 I get it. For me, it's different. I get it. Maybe it's them, CMP, I don't know what it is. It's clearly the bar dish. No, it is the bar. It's the bar. And I wouldn't fight nobody.
Starting point is 01:30:16 Even for people that's not real, like, diehard hip hop fans, like Park said. My wife love it. People are going to bring up, when you mention rap albums, just think of her so much about it. That's true. But she's not usually running for the hip hop,
Starting point is 01:30:29 hip hop, hip hop. My girl don't mind when I throw it off. Yeah. Same. She don't say it word. I'll be playing some other shit and she'll be like, I want to hear Burris. I'll say, alright bud.
Starting point is 01:30:38 Burris don't, Burris don't. But yeah, this is like the conversation, this is the one. Everything's getting compared to this. It's the album of the year for sure. Yeah. In terms of like the standard and in terms of what people talk about. Hip-hop, no question. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:30:49 Is there anything else in music that we need to hit? I know I shout a Yay Ali's project out before I left. That shit is still in rotation. Short, but it is in rotation. So we not excited about Drake possibly dropping the album. I mean, if it comes, yeah. I'll be excited. When it comes.
Starting point is 01:31:08 Based off the two songs you heard, one of them you don't like, the other one we like, where does that put you on? I don't think it's fair for me to be the voice because I shouldn't be the voice. I think somebody that's truly excited about it should be the voice. What acts should be the voice?
Starting point is 01:31:23 Number two on the list. Got it. I'm not all the voice? Number two on the list. Got it. I'm not all the way excited, like waiting for, of course when it comes I'm gonna listen, but it sound like he on some London Man shit. Yeah, that's right. So I'm not rushing to it, but of course I'm here. Of course we gonna cover it.
Starting point is 01:31:38 It's still Drake. Right. Yeah, yeah. I don't think Drake can make a bad song outside the happy birthday shit was atrocious to me. But other than that, like he gonna make a good song And I like sent you see but don't try to fool me into thinking that that's what's gonna get American bitches loose This thing is crazy. You can't trick me. I know American women way too well And it's been a man done got no something like this for the girl. I'm swing
Starting point is 01:32:20 It might not be for the American chicks I go back to what y'all told me about that Honestly, never mind album that I hate it. American. When I said that, y'all kept telling me, yo, it's not for here, it's for San Tropez, and it's for over there, so he make your music for over there and there. No, stop it. That shit go right here. That's what y'all said to me. Don't force it.
Starting point is 01:32:34 But you know, I turn up the portable minute, but this is my problem. This is my problem with this cast outside of everybody not being all black. This is my problem with the cast. I want you to flip. But listen. It's an uptick in it.
Starting point is 01:32:50 This is my, that's how they write it. This nigga went to the grave site, he went to the body grave site, his grandfather taught that. The ancestors, right? He went to the ancestral plane and came back on some. Ever since he came back, real quick, ever since he came back from South Carolina,
Starting point is 01:33:04 he's been on this, bro. Yeah. Shit been different, bro. No, I came real quick ever since he came back from South Carolina he's been on this bro. Yeah. Shit been different. I just watched I watched the bond back so I hear the takes and it'd be like okay go Hulk Hogan not so black. Nobody said that. We heard it. But listen this is what I'm saying when is Mark gonna go outside and do a litmus test for any record? I'm going to wait. He's not. He's not. When is Flip going outside to do a litmus test on the music that is being played and
Starting point is 01:33:37 what it's doing to the audience? I'm going to wait. Can I ask a question now in return? What does that have to do with if a person like a record? You halfway, because your girl is going to make you come outside to something and it's going to come on. Halfway for you a little bit. It's shaky, but you a little bit.
Starting point is 01:33:53 Parks I don't really talk to cause he going to be outside. Y'all with the girls, y'all going to go, y'all going to be together actually. You never say. That's one. Where's Ish going to hear this song? I'm asking you. I don't know B for nobody.
Starting point is 01:34:07 Shout out to our brother. He's here with us in Spirit Mound. That's my man. He be outside though. He be outside. You know that. You know he be outside. He not here.
Starting point is 01:34:15 He might be outside right now. He probably acting like. That's why I took a down. Ish wasn't a flood nigga. What is this? He burned nigga. And again, I'm open to being wrong. So let me see if my mind changed.
Starting point is 01:34:28 Let me look at me. Does my hair look beautiful? He set this up for this. Do my titties look right? You think I can knock the boy off right now? All the girls that's here for the truth, come put both hands on a DJ booth, then wind your way to the big man sound.
Starting point is 01:34:40 And I get too stiff, cause I tink too round the card. You think I can knock the boy off right now? All the girls that's here for the truth, come put both hands on a DJ booth, And I get too stiff cuz I think so wrong What point are y'all getting up to rush to the dear floor my thing to stiff cut the girl to round what? I ain't even know dance floors, you know that. Alright, keep it going. Ain't no dance floors. Let me see. Let me see. This could be Mitchell and the Wall, and she gon' get on there and do what she do. Alright. You're not allowed to tinge your round your real... Okay. Don't listen to that, fuck this nigga, man.
Starting point is 01:35:12 Girl, I'm so bringin' you down, but come to the bed, I'll fling you around with. These guys can't make songs for the girl, them trust me, this how the singles should sound. Fuck anyone that's bringin' you down. Sweetheart, you're doin doing your thing right now Yeah But but we get that reaction cuz they're not going away they Joe don't know where they, they just listening in the computer speaking, you know what's funny though?
Starting point is 01:35:44 Oh shit, oh they might not bring them round and the girls don't shake their waist come round and your little tiny thing right now. But you're doing what I miss from rap. Hey Joe, go somewhere other than the strip club. And put two hands on a DJ booth and they come down you till they're bandan to die. Go somewhere other than the strip club.
Starting point is 01:35:59 This might not work there, but in the lounges, this will work. They work in the lounges. You have other fans, bro. You have other fans. This is what I'm saying in the lounges, this'll work. They work in the lounges. You have other fans, bro. You have other fans. This is what I'm saying. This shit come on and say they gonna be dancing. This shit come on in Stafford,
Starting point is 01:36:12 and them niggas will start throwing tomatoes at the DJ. If this shit come on, this shit'll come on in Pergola, maybe when the fucking Bengals are in town. Get that. Get that. Get that. When this shit'll come on and fucking say less, and fucking fucking let me see if the NASA's is there if the NASA's wants to hear something.
Starting point is 01:36:31 The Joker goes to like the cafeteria. Oh, they got them bring them around and that's like them ways to that day. Hey, Drake, you ain't homeboy. That nigga got wax and homeboy been around. Get your ass out of here. Well, come out and let's see it. Come out and let's see if a DJ brings it on. So y'all don't do DJ tests. And as somebody that never made songs, I can see that. But sometimes you make a song and just go out and give it to a DJ and just sit
Starting point is 01:37:02 there. You got to go to the different ones. You got a different environments for that. And you got to go to the different ones. You have to go to different ones. I'll go outside to a different place just to hear what the DJ play. All right, well let's do that then. Let's do that. Yeah, let's do that. Are you allowed to go do this? You might be getting to you. Can you do that? Yo, she's still, we ain't that far. I You wanna have sex, what you wanna make? Like which one, which one, which one, which one? Central C is my man, but he didn't. He cool, he be fuckin'.
Starting point is 01:37:50 That's the worst thing a joker ever say to somebody. I like Central C a lot. That's my man. That's the end. All right, that's it. All the girls wanna DJ, and the switch at the end. The switch at the end is hard.
Starting point is 01:38:02 Switch at the end is fine, man. Joe hate that too. I don't care. This is that too. I don't care. This is a mess. I don't care what Joe hate. I don't think this helps his purpose at all. I'm joking with y'all. I'm not trying to get nobody to be against what he's doing.
Starting point is 01:38:13 I just don't think it helps what he's trying to do. What is he trying to do? Wait, what do you think he's trying to do? Well, that's not what I think. It's what he said, right? Well, when What Did I Miss came out, and all the talk was about where he would land on number one, he hit his Instagram,
Starting point is 01:38:27 he was like, yo, if it ain't this one, it'll be the next one. Right, I'm gonna keep you. If it ain't the next one, it's gonna be the next one. Something is coming, none of us may know, I may not know, but y'all know I'm breaking that record. And he's right, he's right.
Starting point is 01:38:39 Yeah, he's gonna get the record. He's breaking that record. This ain't gonna be the record. Oh no, I don't think there's gonna be Fun record it's a fun record is a good way to put we're not looking at the lyrical breakdown of right Yeah, but y'all want this to come on and get a dance from your girl your wives Like that's my problem Your wives. Like that's my problem.
Starting point is 01:39:04 Like that's what I'm saying about you bitch ass niggas. Like y'all are judging this from the angle of baby dance with me. Not me. Hit that beat. Hey, baby, go to the store with me. I said my girl on the Target, nigga. Every single day I ain't got smoke. Junk in the trunk, can't see if I'm fine. Got your way, your teeth, it's big. I'm strong.
Starting point is 01:39:31 The back side weird, don't want no money. I got X if you want to take drugs. I said my girl on the Target, yo. I said my girl in the supermarket, nigga. Some strange shit on me. See if it works. You can't grade no record with your girl. Dancing on you. Anyway, I got X if you want to take drugs. Shit on me see if it works you can't grade no record with your girl
Starting point is 01:39:48 I got extra if y'all want to take drugs Always fucking incriminate themselves, but since she's a cool nigga I can't I want to hate on Drake, but not the niggas he be with like boy wonder I love the niggas he be with but get this shit the fuck out of here anyway Mark you coming out well I can't wait for that what I'm gonna be falling asleep at the bar tell Mel that you coming out and your wife Tell me what you want, will you really really rock? Put the queen on the slot, you just rock. Oh shit.
Starting point is 01:40:28 What else we got? What else we got? Oh shit, on the Chris Brown front, Deon Sanders. I see what you did. Well played, sir. I was thinking like, oh fuck. Deon Sanders, bladder cancer. They say he had it removed, had a successful surgery.
Starting point is 01:40:47 So we want to hear the round. He's cancer free. Yeah, we want to hear the round of applause for Deion Sanders. But you know black people. Right. Yo, I've been laughing at black people for that. We can't help it.
Starting point is 01:40:58 Nope. We couldn't just say, Nope. That's awesome, way to go, Prime. Somehow we are focused on Karuchi's appearance. Yep. She was by his side the whole time. Good woman.
Starting point is 01:41:11 That's right. When you get a good one, that's right. Now, what is this? Why is this news? Because you're a little hot ass. Because ain't nobody know. Anybody know. That's really why.
Starting point is 01:41:23 And I saw the news, I saw the show, they're trying to be mature about it. They were saying, oh, Deon's recovering and Crew Chief was there by his side the whole time. It just left it out there like meat for the wolves. You know what I mean? Y'all speak for yourselves. My investigative skills may not be on the level of my girl,
Starting point is 01:41:35 but they ain't the worst. When Ch'Nur Sanders, before the draft, was having all them parties, some of the people that was showing up, I didn't think they was there for him About where should door Sanders would be drafted some of them was there for good old D on Silky gray-ass they heard must be the money they didn't hear that they don't know they don't know they weren't there for that Right, gray ass beard. That ain't her, it must be the money. They didn't hear that, they don't know. They don't know, they weren't there for that. Right, right, they wasn't there.
Starting point is 01:42:07 They weren't there for that. That was the 19s. Yeah, that was the 19s. That was the deep in the 19s. Right. Yeah, so, Karuchi was there. I'm applauding Black and Brown love. What is she?
Starting point is 01:42:19 She's something. Black and Brown. Black and Brown love, I'm applauding it. I see y'all tried to make it nasty because of the age difference No, I'm not looking at this like She's an adult yeah, she can fuck Yeah, yeah, she can do what she wants to do
Starting point is 01:42:35 It's a little bit police Beyond before he was with Karuchi if he's with Karuchi. He was with What's her name? Another famous woman. Right. No, no, he was publicly with her. I don't know. Yeah, he was very public on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:42:52 My point is he has dated several women who have publicly dated other men before. Okay. My question is, I think there's something, not even a question, I think there's something cool about that, some dudes do it but aren't confident about that, some people feel away about that, some people think there's a stigma about that, I don't know how y'all think about that. Oh, I aren't confident about that. Some people feel away about that. Some people think there's a stigma about that.
Starting point is 01:43:05 I don't know how y'all think about that. Oh, I don't care about it. I don't give a fuck. I dated at least nine people right after Fab. I didn't care. They told me too, yo, Fab, we're ass. Tracy Edmonds, yeah. Tracy Edmonds.
Starting point is 01:43:15 That's what I was thinking about. I didn't want to say the wrong name. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Babyface's ex-wife. Tracy Edmonds, that's what I was thinking about. Oh. I wouldn't give a fuck. And now, Chris B, you're all hot.
Starting point is 01:43:24 Brownie niggas. Thirsty niggas. Back in the day, they used to tell you the rappers they was fucking with. Yeah,'t give a fuck. And that Chris Brown thing. Back in the day, they used to tell you the rappers they was fucking with. Yeah, they did. They'd be like, yo, hey, Ma, I don't give a fuck. Who cares about none of that? I was about to add one more to the list. And that's what makes him like you more.
Starting point is 01:43:35 Hey, I see why he was in here. Yeah, I see why he was in here. Does that ever make it more attractive to you? No, that's corny. That's nasty. I agree, but some people will. Oh, no, there's nothing to do but chase it. I agree, but some people will. Oh no, there's niggas that chase. I know a whole lot of niggas that go like,
Starting point is 01:43:47 eww. Cause they'll be like, I'm fucking so and so act. That's corny. That's wack. You're a groupie for the nigga. What the women like when you say you don't give a fuck. I'm looking for who you dated before, girl.
Starting point is 01:43:57 You mind that. Hey, me? Fuck out of here. If it breeze them niggas out, they'll have to get you out of here. It's my pussy now. Some of that shit need lights on. I'm magically excited because of that.
Starting point is 01:44:09 It's weird, but there's a few niggas out there that I know was excited after the, you know what I mean? After your work. And it makes it weird. It does make it weird. How you can tell they're excited, gang? I know. They find ways to make it known that that was...
Starting point is 01:44:23 I know one in particular that was real corny with it. Just trying to make it known that not only am I with her, but that this is his ex. It's like I'm making it more about the nigga than the girl. And that's what's corny about it. That's right, it's corny. And it's weird, because it seems like you almost competing with dudes.
Starting point is 01:44:42 That's what I'm saying, it's not about her. It's just I want to show that I'm the same as him. Right. Because I used to think it was just weird like fanboy shit, but it's actually more than that. Sometimes it's actually like, I want to beat him. You know what I mean? I don't know, it's weird.
Starting point is 01:44:56 And it makes a whole movie, it puts a whole movie in my head as the video for the Chris Brown record before he ever released this one. So now you're talking about Prime, Dick. Oh, shit. That's bad? No, it's funny. All right, take it back.
Starting point is 01:45:13 No. Chris Brown versus Prime? No, man. For the Karoochee off? No. No. No, no. Stop it.
Starting point is 01:45:24 That nigga Prime is folding that shit like a launch. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, Yo, I made it. I'm not going to lie, still getting some nice shit off with the Pampers. That's fucking salute. We got Pampers, like six toes and no black.
Starting point is 01:45:53 You ain't missing a toe. It's getting busy. That's still Pront, you got to do it. Yo, that's fucking salute. Karuchi, boy. Go ahead, Karuchi. Last time I seen Karuchi, she had came up to the complex offices for a little bit
Starting point is 01:46:05 and she had everybody head up there in a tailspin. She is the one. She's stunning. I bumped into her Jamaican jerk cut in the villa. I had no who the fuck it was at the time. I was like, who the fuck is that? And then somebody whispered and told me and I stayed in my place and sat in my chair.
Starting point is 01:46:19 But, cause this was like maybe like 10 years ago. She's just like in person. You know some people don't look as good. She looks amazing in person. I'm sure. was like damn. No, she had everybody everybody was gone. Yeah, I didn't blame him Pretty girl pretty girl At this point, I feel like Dre is just trolling us with her shit. What's she do? Every week she pop up with some new shit like It was how long have you had your license?
Starting point is 01:46:49 And he said, oh, six months ago. She played like little TikTok games. Yeah. Everything played on his age. Yes. Yeah. Lean into it. Fuck it.
Starting point is 01:46:58 Y'all gonna talk anyway. Dre is a business woman. So I'm gonna use it. It's nasty. Hey, we all talk about narratives and some people lean into them and others run away from them. So y'all going to keep talking?
Starting point is 01:47:10 Fine, I'm going to lean into it. That's nasty. I don't see it that way. I'm not all the way, I'm with you. Yeah, I don't see it that way. You got to have a kid, you got a kid. We got a kid? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:47:22 I'm with you. It is what it is. Y'all are going to talk. I'm not going nowhere. Oh, because a kid means They got a kid. We got a kid? I'm with you. It is what it is. Y'all are going to talk. I'm not going nowhere. Oh, cause a kid means we got to talk. No, no, no. I'm not.
Starting point is 01:47:29 No, no. I'm talking about the people are going to talk. It's a fucking ass. Fuck. Oh shit. I hate this nigga. Yo. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:47:41 This fucking asshole, bruh. Oh shit. Man, pussy in the pampers. Wow. Salute. Shout out to him. I'm glad he's recovered and he's going to be playing, he's going to be coaching. He says he's going to be back on the field coaching. Same way, put the port-a-potty on the sideline, but it's all good. Yeah, it's fire.
Starting point is 01:47:58 You ever come in a girl, she told you you ain't got to worry because she's not ovulating? Yeah. Did you feel, did that bring you comfort? No. I had a girl tell me feel, did that bring you comfort? No. No. I had a girl tell me that. And I thought she meant she was not. I was like 19, 20.
Starting point is 01:48:12 I didn't know the answer right. Way back. Back in the 1900s. Yeah, in the 1910s. In the 1910s. In the 1910s. Yeah, I had just moved out the coat, but she was still kind of in.
Starting point is 01:48:20 And she wore, her garb was all covered, her face was all covered up. But under the garb, she was like, I think she ended up being a dancer in New York, she was... Quite the trajectory. Quite the trajectory. But oddly, common, and she was bad as shit,
Starting point is 01:48:33 and I didn't use it, kind of, I busted all that shit, man, and I was like, should I pull up? She's like, no, no, you're good, you're good, you're good. Oh, you fell for it. Yeah, and then like a week later, I was like, she was like, you know you came at me, right? I was like, yeah, you told me I could. You said it was good.
Starting point is 01:48:48 Like, you can't have kids, right? She's like, no, I didn't mean that. I said, what you mean by that? She was like, I just meant like, God wouldn't do that to me. Wait, what? Yeah, I didn't. Got him.
Starting point is 01:48:58 Yeah, Po. How many times that worked on you? Twice. One more time, but that time I was, yeah, I take the L for the second time. That time, yeah, because she said it with such confidence, I thought it was like a medical reason. She was like, yeah, I wouldn't do that to me. I'm not in my ovulation period.
Starting point is 01:49:15 Bitch, if you don't take this pill and FaceTime me. That's the oldest chick in the book. Send the video. Send the video. Send the video. Send, hey, send the video. Send the video. Send the video. Send the video. Send the video. Send the video.
Starting point is 01:49:26 In some instances where they try to make men seem like assholes and I don't be vibing with it. Like send the video, you can't make the man be an asshole. Send the video. Yeah, but he really wasn't being an asshole. He was keeping the conversation here. Like yo, we not friends, we don't have nothing to talk about. You trying to take us and, you know, BS me over here?
Starting point is 01:49:43 No, this is a transactional conversation. You want this, send video. That's not asshole. Speaking of that, that's going on right this second. DeAndre Aiden seems to be under fire or not under fire because he was in Turks. He sent the private jet for a young lady that goes by the name of Caribbean Curls on Instagram.
Starting point is 01:50:04 Okay. What? How'd the name of Caribbean Curls on Instagram. Okay. What? How she look? Caribbean Curls. The name sounds, yeah. She's a great looking girl. I'm in the itch shit, ho-wham. Ho-wham, but if my memory serves correct,
Starting point is 01:50:17 she was younger, at least when I found her, she was 22. Whatever she's wearing with them gray sweats on. Now she gotta be 24 or some shit, but Deandre Hayden is young and old, man. So he flew her out on the PJ. She says that because she didn't want to fuck, DeAndre Aiden's security kind of left her in the middle of nowhere in Turks, which
Starting point is 01:50:42 does sound like some horrific shit to do do until I take into account all the scenarios and stories that women are coming up with when they're in private with a guy. So where do y'all stand on this? So when I heard the story, I was like, that's fucked up. It's always fucked up to leave somebody in another country. I see you. You see her, right? Yo, you with that? for the people that are wondering
Starting point is 01:51:08 why we laughing at, we went to her page to do our journalistic investigation. You and itch right there. And two people that follow her from the JVP. Right there. Joseph Anthony Budden and Anton Ishmore. I meant to, that shouldn't be, I meant to unfollow that girl years ago.
Starting point is 01:51:22 That girl is too young for me to follow, so I'm gonna unfollow, I didn't know that. Seriously? I'm dead serious. You might have followed her recently, I don't think you did girl years ago. That girl is too young for me to follow, so I'm gonna unfollow her. I didn't know that. I'm dead serious. You might have followed her recently. I don't think you did it when she was young. I don't know, but I wanna unfollow that girl. Okay, okay.
Starting point is 01:51:32 I'm not playing with none of you 23-year-olds. I ain't doing it. Sorry. Oh, shit. Sorry. Turn that shit dark, nigga. It's not dark. It's just, we had a time where niggas need to have
Starting point is 01:51:42 discipline in certain areas. Yeah, yeah, no, you're right. That's real. I'm not playing like that. But shout out to him. In this scenario, do y'all blame him? Yes. Here's the thing. It's two conversations happening on the internet.
Starting point is 01:51:55 I think they both wrong. Some people are saying, yo, it's fucked up to leave somebody there. It just is. You should never leave somebody somewhere that you flew out. It's just fucked up unless they did some horrific shit, right? You know, if I caught you stealing my shit something like that, then it's different, right? But then other people are saying, like, well, just because she's out there don't mean she got to have sex with him, which is also true. That's true. That is true. But it's not, but it is unrealistic to say, to suggest that she had no idea. There is an implicit understanding that when I fly you out to another country
Starting point is 01:52:29 that we don't know each other, that there's some intimacy expected. Now, you have a right to revoke the consent at any time. I'm not saying if you fly out, you got to fuck. I'm just saying no. But to act like she was shocked by the prospect of fucking after being flown to another country is kind of crazy to me. But if she don't want to fuck him, don't fuck him. And he has a right to.
Starting point is 01:52:46 I agree with everything you just said. I agree with that too. It's also funny, I see a lot of girls tweeting things like, hey, fly me out. I know what I'm doing. I know what I got to do. I've been dying at them tweets. Hey, check this out.
Starting point is 01:52:59 If I get on a plane and go X, Y, Z, I already know what I'm doing. And you're making, how much is there? That's why I'm laughing. That's why I'm laughing, Ed Bitchy. I see girls online saying, they're trying to crucify Karoochee. Bitch, Prime would have folded your ass up too.
Starting point is 01:53:14 Like, don't do that. I see the girls laughing at Shorty that got right to business with Duke Dennis. Yo, you want some head? Yeah. And then he tried to- Yo, and see, that's back to my point about this thing.
Starting point is 01:53:25 Lady, most men have been in that situation where you hot and head monster is coming and she's being direct. Yo, would you like some head? I'm the best head giver in Rochester. Ask around about me. I can make calls. There's nobody that sucks dick in Rhode Island better than me And now you gonna have to make the choice
Starting point is 01:53:48 Yeah, yeah, do I dip off in his bathroom real quick? Mm-hmm, or do I leave it alone and some other discipline to do it that Duke wasn't a Duke Dennis. He double-backed He was too intrigued He was wait. He said well really but we can't say that right now, but for real on right now, but for real. It's camera on right now. No, you gotta do that. Tell me what happened when the best head giver in Boston approached y'all in private and said, yo, this is a Michelin star mouth.
Starting point is 01:54:15 What a man of God. I want to give it to you right now. You can find out for yourself firsthand. How did y'all handle that? I went back to my room and prayed. Yeah, yeah. It I got the Bible. It's right there in the ninth thing. It's at the app.
Starting point is 01:54:28 Oh, yeah. Exactly, that's why. Oh, the girl dumb chick dumb round. And the girl gets up on the ground. I'm a little too stiff because your ass is too round. And the girl gets stiff when it's round. Da-dum-dum-do-si-do, it's round. I'm married.
Starting point is 01:54:41 OK, Flip, Mark? Not married, nigga. I hear that shit. They play around like that, but I'm good. I'm married. They, Flip, Mark. Not married, nigga. I hear that shit, they play around like that, but I'm good, I'm married. They can smell married on me, they don't even say that stuff to me. My girl thought she was getting proposed to for a second. That's our bad.
Starting point is 01:54:54 That's our bad. I tried to hold you down on that shit. You can't raise that as a possibility, that just fucks up the weekend. Well, nobody here should've raised that as a possibility. Imani's a jerk. Yes. Imani is a jerk for that.
Starting point is 01:55:06 But. That was definitely an IOU for all the jokes that you make about the Nissan's and so and so forth. You said you were bad. You think she heard it? Well, she heard it. I was listening to the part. And I didn't get to the fan on X that was like, hey,
Starting point is 01:55:22 skip to 21.01. I saw that later So just shared it What she says? Private Like I know what that mean. I saw the nigga walk to the door like the nigga walked out slow motion. He walked to the hallway man slow. I'm like what's up that he just got back?
Starting point is 01:55:52 He was like this. Yo we sorry. Fuck him on the up. He walked through like Michael Maxx on the slow motion. He saw that shit right? Nigga look through the cabinet man slow. Suit of fan. Stupid ass park. right look through the cabinet man slow Stupid ass part niggas. I'm uh, you think Joe would do a head-ass proposal like that. He'll go barks. Well
Starting point is 01:56:25 Nigga know what are y'all niggas talking about? Cory was like, nigga, I don't know he wouldn't do that. And it was crazy. And I'm like, you know she's gonna hear this when they're there. You fucked up the trip. Them kids wouldn't even, first of all. That's what Cory said. That's literally what Cory said. Let me tell you something about these kids.
Starting point is 01:56:40 He's like, what the fuck are these kids? And this is my own brain. Oh, the girls in that one. But I could tell that these kids didn't grow up with a dad in the fucking. Yo, hey. All right. You motherfucker.
Starting point is 01:56:54 These little, hey, yo, hey, this trip made me think of nine more good reasons how a deadbeat is born. Oh, you. more good reasons how a deadbeat is born. So we sit down at the dinner table. This means something to me and her. Like this is like a we here with the kids, whatever you want to eat. These little demon ass kids. They sit down, don't wait for nobody. They just eat, grab the, we don't say a prayer. I don't think we said a prayer once. Well, me and the Taurus nigga, we said a prayer. Me and my man, me and I ain't prayed a little bit, but had
Starting point is 01:57:36 to be on edge during the prayer. I'm not laughing. I'm not laughing. I'm not laughing. That nigga would have been like, yo, thank God for you, but bitch, I think I fucked you up right I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna.
Starting point is 01:57:47 I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna.
Starting point is 01:57:54 I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna.
Starting point is 01:58:00 I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. I'm not gonna. And he probably like, what the fuck is going on? So for the rest of the trip, anything this nigga had to say during the dinner, I'm like, yo, don't start, yo. Yo, yo, yo, chill, feel, just let us eat, yo. Anyway, no, soon come, soon come, soon come.
Starting point is 01:58:16 It gotta be a surprise. Once you get to year six and seven, you can't surprise them no more. Yeah, they know your tricks. Ain't no surprise. There's a pressure on my man. Because it's like they wait. It's like, yo, yeah, nigga. It's about time. It's a pressure on my man. Because it's like they wait.
Starting point is 01:58:25 It's like, yeah, nigga. It's about time. It's about what's up. And then anything major, they start thinking, all right, now it's about to happen. That's what I'm saying. Now it's about to happen. I can't believe I got my shit off.
Starting point is 01:58:33 That shit was some fucking sleight of hand. And how'd you do it? Which of your propose? Banked on hangry. It was a family dinner at a Colombian spot in Flushing. Queens, yeah. Queen Jackson Heights, Jackson Heights. Got it.
Starting point is 01:58:44 Yeah. I got lucky that she was so angry that she was blinded to the obscene situation that was unfolding. So I had to invite, she wanted her best friend there, I wanted my best friend there, it's a family dinner. I had to figure out how to make that make sense because we weren't doing dinner on a Tuesday
Starting point is 01:59:02 with her best friends and my best friends. But she was so angry that she was just mad at me. But what was the excuse for them being there? Oh, they're obscene. She had to, the one friend had to come get something that she left at our house, like a screw or something. It was bullshit, pure bullshit. And my friend was just like, oh, I happened to stop by.
Starting point is 01:59:22 And they're like, oh, do you want to come to dinner with it? Like, pure bullshit. Got you pure bullshit. Anytime this motherfucker expecting a proposal, every fucking David Yermann commercial in the world. Come on, David Yermann fucking David bright. David's bridle. No, I won't. I wasn't even looking for David. I want no parts of that.
Starting point is 01:59:45 Oh, they got them bringing them around and they shake them tits in the door seat. Oh, birthday shit. You want your birthday? Oh, shit. You want to get your birthday off there? You got to do right. You want peace? You got to do right, boy.
Starting point is 02:00:00 You can't have everything straight. So just because I'm here with the fellas and I'm so happy to be with y'all. I bet you are. I'll give y'all an update and then we can move on. We'll find a topic. Mark, bring up Dr. Umar and some shit. Fucking, we've gone from, we've gone from her saying,
Starting point is 02:00:23 why would you even ask me about who's allowed and who's not allowed? I think that's weird. We've gone from that. We're getting out of nigga every other day. This motherfucker got a name. Yeah. I don't forgot about two days ago. She said my last question, which is not, of course, are you flying girls in for your birthday dinner? Am I flying girls in or are girls flying in? I'm not a pilot, so no.
Starting point is 02:00:55 Yeah, yeah, I'm not flying. Then no, are you paying for women to come? Girl, no. And why would you think such a thing? No, no. No. I will not. No, I'm joking. No, anybody that comes pays for their own ticket. Playing with you, Joe a thing? No, no. I will not. Anybody that comes, pays for their own ticket.
Starting point is 02:01:08 Playing with you Joe. He wired them the cash ticket for their own ticket. Shake that thing. Did you see his face though? I didn't see his face. Look at our man Freeze. He going through that. Look at him. Look at him right now.
Starting point is 02:01:24 I'm not going through the damn thing. Me. Look at him. Look at him right now. I'm not going through the damn thing. Me and my baby got all the understanding in the world. We are chilling. It's going to be a night to remember. Shalimar. Ba dum ba dum dum dum. Da da da da da.
Starting point is 02:01:34 So, okay. I asked you off the camera. I asked you off the camera. Now I'm in trouble. No. I'm sorry. Just that quick. Niggas don't know how this part don't work.
Starting point is 02:01:43 Yeah, that's right. Yes, I do. Now you got to lie. Make up something. Niggas don't know how this pops. That's the worst. Yeah, that's right. Yes, I do. Now you got to lie, make up something. What kind of boys are going to be here? What are you going to do? Nah, man. I think the stakes should be pretty good.
Starting point is 02:01:54 What else needs our attention? Mark, anything that's pressing on your mind? I know this Ray J thing is something you said you wanted to talk about. No, that wasn't me. I see Ray J on the board. That's all you see on the board, huh? You see another name under Ray J thing is something you said you wanted to talk about. No, that wasn't me. Oh, I see Ray J on the board. I thought, ooh, ooh, something about Ray J. That's all you see on the board, huh? You see another name under Ray J.
Starting point is 02:02:10 Ray J. Yeah, I didn't put that on the board. Oh. Yeah, but you could introduce it. Mr. Toppett introduced it. I don't know. What's the story? Oh, Dr. Umar?
Starting point is 02:02:18 It just says Dr. Umar on the board. I didn't put it on the board. Yeah. What's the story? I think Dr. Umar is full of shit. What happened with Dr. Umar? I don't know if we're going to get to it. But I don't the board. Yeah, what's the story? I think Dr. Umar is full of shit. I don't know if we're gonna get to it. But I don't believe him.
Starting point is 02:02:27 Dr. Umar went on the internet and said, I'm broke, send me some shit. They fucked with my Chase account. All my money disappeared. I don't know what he said. Is that what he does? No, I said, oh, I really don't know what he's talking about. So, he didn't say he was broke.
Starting point is 02:02:41 He just said that his funds are frozen. Yeah. Which is different. Like, he got, he just said that his funds are frozen. Yeah. Which is different. Like, that's different. Like he got like someone hacked into his account, sometimes when people hack into your account, you can't access the money. They freeze your account. They freeze your account.
Starting point is 02:02:53 And so right now the only way he can access money is through PayPal. All the girls are fucking, that's my man. That's my man, nah, nah, nah. I know that I was going to do that. Hey, yo, my account is fucked up. Send a cash out, man. Nah, but he was, all jokes aside, he was having some problems with hackers and stuff. In fact, I think he had to contact the FBI
Starting point is 02:03:20 and some shit because people was fucking with him. Yeah, he was having problems. That's what I'm saying. So it's real. And he's never asked for money before. He's fundraised for the school before, but he's never asked for money for himself. So to me, which is different, right? And he's not spending the money for the school on himself.
Starting point is 02:03:37 He's spending it on the school and I can vouch. I've been to the school. I've seen the school. I was in Wilmington, came to check out the school, went on a tour, it's real, and he's building something there. And so if the brother's in a pinch, I say send it to him.
Starting point is 02:03:48 Send him something then, eh? Godumar, the longer you stay away from this platform, the more great questions I come up with. I ain't gonna hold you. Last October when I asked you to come, it was just gonna be a cool revisit thing. Now, gotta ask the tough questions I got to. What's a tough question? Where the fuck is the school?
Starting point is 02:04:12 He's been there. I've been to the school I'm telling you it's a real school. I've been to the Frederick and Marcus Garvey Academy. I have been. It's actually a beautiful facility. Is it open? It's not open for, they're not matriculating yet, but he's physically getting things done. Like the HVAC thing needed to be redone. It's hard to build a full school, fully private, for black boys without a lot of resources, a lot of investment. And it costs a lot of money.
Starting point is 02:04:39 And it takes a lot of time when you're doing it on the muscle. He didn't open a charter school. He didn't try and do like what some of the NBA players do when they take a public school and put their name on it. Like he's actually building something from the ground up. So shout out to him. I think it's great.
Starting point is 02:04:51 And I've donated and supported and hope other people do too. So the HVAC system has to get fixed now? I think it needs to be, I don't remember the whole situation with the HVAC, but I know at one point, what he's basically trying to do, and I think he's right,
Starting point is 02:05:02 is to get the community to not just pull money, but resources. Like if you have an HVAC company or business, lend your services. You can, when you're trying to build something, you can do three things, time, talent, or treasure, right? Either go there and volunteer, use your skills to teach, or make a donation, or do all three. So that's the people should do. She do Work is good
Starting point is 02:05:46 Work is not bad. I'm just likear. Shout out to the school and him. Umar, come up here, man. Go on, let's talk. That'd be dope. Let's talk. I've gotta get to the bottom of this. All right, let's try it a different way. When they froze my account.
Starting point is 02:06:01 Yeah, I had my accounts frozen. When they froze my accounts, and that's where all of my $17 was, I was broke. Yeah, when all of it is in the same place so that they could just freeze you out, then there's no money in the shoebox. Mama can't loan it to you. You ain't got a hidden account somewhere that your big mamas don't know about. Then it's more of a situation. But you different.
Starting point is 02:06:35 Then they just froze my account. You're a celebrity and you. And if they freeze your account, then go through the proper channels to get it unfrozen in the least amount of time that it would take. Well that's what he's doing. Yeah, he wasn't like that. He said they just took it, they said it's indefinite.
Starting point is 02:06:46 They do it silently. They told him it's indefinite. Here's the thing, when you make a life in service of the people versus a celebrity life or a rich life, it's different. So, like Malcolm X died with almost no money in his pocket. Dr. King died, he made $50,000 last year, which was a lot of money in 1968, gave it all away.
Starting point is 02:07:04 A lot of times when you're a grassroots activist, organizer, teacher, you're not going to have cash the way a celebrity is. I think it's interesting in this day because some of us are in the public eye, and so we get treated like we're rich and famous. And you might be visible, but you still are doing the sacrifice to the people, so you ain't got the same amount of cash. So I don't think he's broke, but I do think that being a poor, righteous teacher means just that. So indefinite, that means?, but I do think that like, being a poor righteous teacher means just that.
Starting point is 02:07:25 So indefinite, that means? It could be a day, it could be a month. I don't know, I only know what he said. So I don't know if it's unfrozen now or not. I just saw what the announcement he made last, a few days ago or whatever, and I'm hoping it's unfrozen, he's good. What I'm saying is I feel like Dr. Umar's name, likeness,
Starting point is 02:07:41 and brand is too big to ever be put in a situation where because his accounts are frozen, he has to take to the internet to ask the public for help. I think his likeness is like way greater than this action makes it seem. And I think he knows that too. No, I think you're right. I think you're right that it shouldn't be that way. I'm just saying some people read that as something dishonest.
Starting point is 02:08:03 And I'm saying I think it's more of like there's a long tradition of people who do that kind of work who don't... Who have the cash. Who don't put, yeah, the cash doesn't match the value they have to our community. But the work, I don't have pocket watching or nothing, but the work he does... Can get you the cash.
Starting point is 02:08:20 Right, because he do, like I remember he posted on his Instagram, he had a whole tour of stops that I'm I'm gonna see here and he's get he gets booked to do these But a lot of that stuff is for like like I know I've been on panels with him I've been in places with him where both of us did it for sure Like we didn't do it for the money We did it for the community so you can have 50 dates on your tour and 35 of them could be for a community center African Center school and they might just be paying your way out there. You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:08:47 And now when you go to the universities, you take the big bread, or whoever. But when you're doing the local stuff, a lot of the time you're doing it for the people, and so it just doesn't make a lot of cash. Again, or you give the cash back, or you pour it into what you're building, and for him that's the school.
Starting point is 02:09:00 And that's why- So you're still not necessarily making the money yourself. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. And you gotta make that separation. Like I said, that's why he's Martin Luther King is the example. I mean, Martin Luther King, when he got his Nobel Peace Prize, they gave him a ton of cash. What was it? A ton of cash at the time. Gave it all back to the movement. You know what I mean? So I get it. See, Martin and Malcolm made a few decisions that... Wouldn't it went that way? You did it different. Fuck it. Malcolm talking about, no, no, no, we don't need our guns. Let everyone come feel free and safe and the children will know that. No.
Starting point is 02:09:36 Strap up. Yeah, get the fucking, get the joints. Niggas from New Orleans coming. Yeah. Oh my God. Shout out to them. That's what he said. Did y'all hear about Mandy's book tour getting canceled? No. It didn't get canceled. She canceled it. She canceled it to be clear. It didn't get
Starting point is 02:09:54 canceled. But yeah, they I don't know why. I don't get the details. But she made some great stops. She was at Uncle Bobby's. She made some great stops, she was at Uncle Bobby's. Great tour, great book sales. Salute. Salute me. Did you meet her, were you there? No, no, I didn't go. I was here in at home. Got it.
Starting point is 02:10:15 Yeah, yeah, yeah. But we support all black authors. Yeah, we support it, black books matter. All of them? Enough of them. Nigga, trying to keep that Uncle Bobby's flow coming through, nigga. Anything in love and service to the people, man. Shout out to Mandy and Weezy, even though the book tour is canceled because the book is too successful right now. They'll get it back together.
Starting point is 02:10:37 You said what? I didn't get it before. New York Times bestseller, though. Mandy said the book is doing better than they imagined, so we're gonna dead the tour plans for now because the book is too successful. I get that. Sometimes when I get things that are just so successful. Yo, all right, yo, stop, all right. That nigga's trolling me, stop it, man. No, no, no, in all seriousness, though.
Starting point is 02:10:59 Man, they ain't say no shit like that. Book tours are onerous, and if your book is doing really well, you don't want, it's not like music tours where you get a ton, you know what I'm saying? Like you go to, I don't necessarily want to go to a bookstore in Schenectady to talk to 50 people if I'm on the bestseller list already.
Starting point is 02:11:13 Like her book is, their book is cooking right now. It was New York Times bestseller, the book scan numbers are high, in all seriousness, I probably wouldn't want to go on a long book tour either, if it's already doing well. Since you want to be more selective. I understand that logic that you just said. But it just creates the position of
Starting point is 02:11:32 when I'm planning my tour, I'm not planning for my book to be so successful. That might be true. Or the publisher. Or it could just surpass expectations. I could have planned for it to do this. And then, oh shit, it did that. Right. Just higher than what you expected. Expectations I could have planned for it to do this and then oh shit. It did that right
Starting point is 02:11:46 Just Hiding what you expected and in the book business is hard to get tour dates Like like a publisher doesn't like publishers in the last ten years don't like to give tour days I remember my first book I got maybe 15 cities my second book and I had a bestseller they gave me four four cities You know me I mean? So, know who I love, Mark. Know who I love, Mark. Him and Mel do the same shit. Him and Mel do the same shit.
Starting point is 02:12:13 Yo, Mark is the man. I love that dude. Mark is the man. You know, he don't know I'm just sitting there being a dick. Like, he really breaking it down. Yo, and for the books, if you go out to Rochester, nigga. ["The Birds on the Sand"] Show your ass off, guys.
Starting point is 02:12:28 ["The Birds on the Sand"] Ah, shout out to Mandy, Malcolm, Martin. Is that the only thing? Uncle Bobby. If I sit here and laugh while you being addicted, and later on people be like, yo, you was with it. So I gotta always make myself appreciate. Like I don't co-sign in his foolishness.
Starting point is 02:12:43 Do they think that we're so different on the dick tip pause in terms of playing a dickhead do they think they're one way and you're another way I think I think the perception is and it's accurate is that you are messy and sarcastic and mean-spirited with humor and I'm above the fray and that is accurate. No it's not. Wait what? That is exactly how I see it. Above the fray. That is exactly how I see it.
Starting point is 02:13:13 Above the fray. No they just don't know you yet. That's how I see it too. No they're gonna know I'm here. They're gonna know. Mark is a grade A dick. Mark is a dick. Just an asshole.
Starting point is 02:13:24 Someone who weaponizes his intelligence to make people feel inferior, stupid. Damn. Lesser than. Yeah. Yeah, Neil deGrasse don't do that. Should you be doing? Nah, he don't.
Starting point is 02:13:35 He ain't got work with y'all, though. Oh, shit. Fair. Fair. Point to me. Fair. Point to me. What else needs our attention?
Starting point is 02:13:43 Wanna talk about your guy from the Raiders? We can do it. Christian Wilkins, man. Former Dolphin. Freaky for all. Great defensive tackle. He left the Dolphins, got a massive deal, 100 something million guaranteed money from the Raiders. Hated to see him go.
Starting point is 02:14:00 Blew it to kiss on niggas. Well, you know, he injured his foot, and that's why they waved him, is because I guess he didn't rehab the way that he wanted to, but I guess some other information came out that he at some point kissed one of his teammates
Starting point is 02:14:17 on the head in a joking manner, and the teammate did not find that to be a joke. Was it like jokingly sexual sexual or was it just like, just like literally just like a joke? Man, what way could you kiss? After something like, you know, I like Ian walks around like making like jokes and jokingly hug us,
Starting point is 02:14:34 but we know he's not making a pass at us. Ian come kiss you on your head. What you gonna do? Where are we in the contract season? I need a few more questions. My question is who did you kiss? Because if he kissed Max Crosby, that's really, really funny. Who's I don't get it because I don't know. He's a big Viking looking.
Starting point is 02:14:56 He's the best black player, but from what I know of him in the past from Dolphins coverage that I've read, like he used to like whoop on people's asses in practices. So it's a good chance that he whooped on some poor offensive lineman and then gave him a kiss to be even more of a dickhead. Oh, he's also had a reputation on the field. Yeah, yeah, I've seen that he's um, it happens sometimes in football that players, when there's like a pile on, someone might grab some places.
Starting point is 02:15:33 Put their finger in your ass. Yeah, several places. Grab a little cock. Yeah, grab a little dick. Oh, shit. And he's been accused of that by Josh Allen for one like multiple times. I think it's sexual is it if somebody just put a finger in your ass that's sexual. No, I was talking
Starting point is 02:15:54 about the grabbing like I know if it was like a like a pain thing like I'm tackling you now trying to hurt you by so no they already down there sometimes and he just reach in and get him a little low. I'm a him a little piece. Oh, that's weird like on on some like dominate you prison shit? I don't know. I don't know. It leaves a lot for interpretation. But anyway he got his hundred, the remainder of his hundred something million dollar contract
Starting point is 02:16:16 chopped, waived. Wow. Based on the injury rehab and potentially him kissing his... That's the sickest way I've ever heard to lose a hundred million dollars. Yeah, but he's filed a grievance and he probably will get it. Okay. So he's going to probably end up playing for some other team for a dollar and still get his 20 million from the Raiders.
Starting point is 02:16:41 Let me ask a question. Is he good enough that if he doesn't get his money another team will... Yes, he's really good. Okay, even with the foot, even with the injury. question, is he good enough that if he doesn't get his money, another team will? Yes, he's really good. Yes. Even with the interview. Yes, he's really good. Okay. Yeah, he's really good.
Starting point is 02:16:54 Did you guys happen to hear R. Kelly's tribute song to Malcolm Jamal Warner? I heard that it existed, I didn't want to listen to it. I wish that I had, and I have a feeling I'm going to. Oh, we're definitely going to. Well, I am going to play it for you guys. Mark, if you want to listen I wish that I had and I have a feeling I'm going to well I am going to play for you guys Mark if you want to exit the room or go do some of that philanthropist should be doing then now be a good time but it's work now I'm just not gonna do it at home like at the crib and it's confirmed that is real correct oh we don't care yeah I'm not checking to see
Starting point is 02:17:22 refer to the tag if it's real I don't speak out. So there's no way for me to have a no got it. But I ain't gonna lie to you. Let me go. Yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, yo, Before I play it though cuz up when I first saw it R Kelly makes tributes on the Malcolm Jamal Warner again, I'm thinking this is AI. I'm thinking this is some old shit where he taught my Malcolm. I don't know Already and they got a fucking they got a good studio in that job Oh, nah what? She Shit. That's it? You sure? It sounds... No.
Starting point is 02:18:36 Talk to him. Ooh! Ooh! Talk to him Keep going though I Did you see where it's going Not at all Yeah, yeah I felt the loss, like we all lost something You were told to go From this prison, I bowed my head For a brother gone too soon, a life well spread
Starting point is 02:19:37 You left your mark man, you stood your ground Now I'm the king Where is my home? Wait, okay. This nigga's the greatest. No way. Y'all know if he could put a choir right there, he would. Y'all know if a choir could's no way that's that's he Niggas two minutes left for this motherfucker. This is a four-minute joint Ladies and gentlemen distinguished panel, I think it's fire. It sounds good, man. I Don't know R Kelly, but I know Malcolm Jamal Warner. I'm pretty confident if he was asked who he wanted to sing a tribute to him after he died,
Starting point is 02:20:31 R. Kelly wouldn't be on the list. That's all. That's it. I don't know Malcolm Jamal Warner. Rest in peace. But I do know. But if somebody happened to tap them and say yo I'm still not fucking with this nigga. No. Freeze the fuck with it. No, don't fuck with it. It took 16 bars, now he the R again.
Starting point is 02:21:06 Damn. He got something 30 years, nigga. I'll turn to the R too, nigga. Oh shit, he got the choir. I cut it off before the end. At all. This boy still got it. I'm still not fucking with this nigga.
Starting point is 02:21:14 I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga.
Starting point is 02:21:22 I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. I'm still not fucking with this nigga. get off before the end. This boy still got it. I don't know. I can't be. It just don't sound like our Kelly to me. I sounds like our kind of like a go at it, but how if it is
Starting point is 02:21:47 how the fuck you get he get a Newman into the jam? That ain't no fucking Newman, boy. That's a whole fucking studio studio. Y'all clearly ain't seen enough of these fucking jail dogs. If the dirty tattooed nigga from Mississippi named Ralph the white nigga with the funny hair could get the CEO to quit her job and lose her life, what you think the R is doing in there? If y'all call that nigga the R one more time.
Starting point is 02:22:10 Can we just throw it down a little bit? We don't want to call the nigga the Pied Piper. How about R Kelly? He back at the R, boy. Bob. Bob Gales. Can we call the nigga Robert? You got to the bridge on the
Starting point is 02:22:31 It's okay mom Kelly's talented yeah, then we talked about the guy on that out We took we talked about the other day we can like he smoked this shit We can like the artists, but not the human. Oh, please mark mark All them nasty niggas was in the fucking, in the cult, wildin' out. Now you wanna come over here, nigga? Fuck you. Yeah, it was wild.
Starting point is 02:22:49 It was some un, what's the word? Unsavory people in the cult. There were, but we know they was unsavory. And they didn't have a pen like this. Nah, they didn't have a pen like this. I mean, African-American body was never that talented. Not R. Kelly talented. I don't ride for him. No, I know. I wasn't. You didn't.
Starting point is 02:23:08 They be trying to do all that. No, fuck that. You tell African-American body to come over and jump in there. There's a few more niggas that they be trying to pump up in the name of hip-hop. I ain't with it. I ain't jacking some of that. I read what you did. I don't stand by it. There's no way. It's like, yeah. I read what you did right? I don't know right? No, right
Starting point is 02:23:27 But if Africa be by the drop it now, it's not draw See that's my boy rock rock Good enough to deserve like the reprieve you like a Markeli however Kelly studio deserve like the reprieve. You like R Kelly, however. R Kelly's studio is... They got a nice studio up in there. God damn. He's protecting the capacity of a studio like that.
Starting point is 02:23:49 They got the sound proof and all that shit. Put the mattresses up. Hey, yo, put four mattresses in the wall for me, please. Make it six. Mark talking all this shit. R Kelly's little girlfriend, Dr. Dill, holding him down. They still like, nope! No, no, one of them. That's my baby. One of them turned though. One of them turned.
Starting point is 02:24:11 Yeah, one of them did turn. Turn 16? Oh, no. Oh, that's the line? Wow. That's the line in the place? Testified against him. The other one, the one that's dead, she's still mad against her family. Fuck you, mom, stay away from us. Don't talk to me, I am 25 now. She is cursing her parents, move out. 24 hours, she had it like 15 years ago. And you're right. That's what makes this shit so awful. and her parents move out. 24 hours, that should have been like 15 years ago.
Starting point is 02:24:45 And you're right. Oh, shit. That's what makes this shit so awful. Oh, my God. That's what I'm saying, R Kelly is awful. He is. I agree. He is awful.
Starting point is 02:24:55 That's true. All right. Speaking of awful, holy shit. Did he? George Washington's awful. He is, and if George Washington. You still spendin' them fuck, what dollar you on? Not Calvin, either, nigga.
Starting point is 02:25:08 The single. Oh. You are people. You are people. Fuckin' with George Washington. But no, did he just filed another appeal? Okay. For some of us, this is the most disturbing one.
Starting point is 02:25:23 Okay, let's hear it. And I'm gonna make a distinction between the legal appeal and the argument in the appeal. And what I mean by that is, I think I don't believe in revoking bail from people unless it's exigent circumstances. The bail system is not meant to keep people locked up. And there's too many people in this country who are locked up because they don't have a mic, Mark. Oh, sorry.
Starting point is 02:25:44 There are too many people in this country who are in jail because they don't have enough money not to be in jail. And that's a problem. It is, agree. Bail should not be a financial thing. So I agree with that. So I don't like revoking bail for those reasons. That said, Diddy has asked to be released
Starting point is 02:26:01 on a $50 million bond. That's his request, a $50 million bond. Did he do that before? Yeah, he did. A few times. This is another one. And he's making some interesting arguments, though. And one of which I agree with, one of which I don't.
Starting point is 02:26:16 OK. One of the argument is saying, he's saying, I'm being treated unlike anybody else in history. They're talking about specifically him being convicted under the Mann Act. And what his lawyer said was, and I think again, I think they're right on this, on this point, he says, they said in the history of the statute, the Mann Act has never been applied to facts similar to these to prosecute or incarcerate any other person. They're saying that the motion that in the in their motion, they said that for the last 75 years,
Starting point is 02:26:43 the Mann Act, which was passed in 1910, has been limited to cases of interstate travel for financial gain through the business of prostitution. In other words, they're saying, you're using this statute for me in a way that's never been used in history. That's a hell of a good argument. Whether you agree with Diddy's shit or not
Starting point is 02:26:56 in terms of his guilt or innocence, that's a great argument. I think Diddy's guilty, I think he's guilty of the shit they found him not guilty for, but I still don't want laws being used against people in unfair ways. But the other piece is what I don't like. The lawyer, the judge said, we can't let you out because you have a history of violence, specifically the domestic violence.
Starting point is 02:27:15 And the judge said that you have a history of violence. And so if we let you out, you may do harm to other people. Here's what Diddy's lawyer said. They acknowledged that he had been violent with Jane in June of 2024, but said that he had been quote provoked by her quote through her own acts of violence. So they're basically saying that yeah he beat Jane up, but it's because she hit me first. She put hands on him. Yeah, I don't think that's a good legal argument I don't think it's a good I don't think that's gonna persuade any judge and I think it really sends a disgusting message
Starting point is 02:27:52 Particularly we see what we saw in the video. So I don't get the logic of saying that I Think there's a better argument. He could have made what it kind of said that during the trial to right during the trial They were like yes, he's a piece of shit. We've seen him commit horrendous acts of violence. We're going to tell you why. Right. Well, we're going to tell you what preceded that. That's like, doesn't matter. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:28:13 And what they also wasn't about, what makes you can't make with a knife, it was that she pushed his head into a counter once. And so when you see her, when you see him, and you say, OK, you pushed my head into a counter, and you beat, kicked, and dragged it on a hallway, it doesn't match. all even if I accepted the logic and argument that that's some that some things were worthy of a
Starting point is 02:28:30 response that ain't one of them right you know so so I don't think that he's going to get out I don't think that was gonna work I think the arguments actually gonna hurt him but I do hate that again we're using weaponizing bail against people I don't like that well I don't think he's getting out just because they denied it the first two times that they ran it through the board. And now that the trial is done, again, we got egg on our face,
Starting point is 02:28:54 we may feel embarrassed, we spent a lot of money. They fired the lead prosecutor. We only got him on, yeah, they fired Homegirl, which that said a lot. We only have him on prostitution, which what are you gonna give him? Five years, he's been in for close to one. He already enrolled in all of the good behavior programs
Starting point is 02:29:12 that are available to people in his position. So it's like, okay, you're denying him bail, but what we do know is he'll be home soon. One word, yeah. When he tried this on July 2nd, the prosecutor who's now fired his flip said, the only thing exceptional about this defendant are his wealth, his violence, and his brazenness.
Starting point is 02:29:29 So the state is making it very clear that we want him to sit in jail, and we think he's an asshole, pampered celebrity who doesn't think he should follow the rules. That's their argument. The judge found it persuasive then. I don't see what's different now. If I'm on in defense, instead of saying,
Starting point is 02:29:44 hey, she hit me first I'm saying what is there for my client to be angry about? Yeah. We won. Right. I'm very pleased with the testimony from every Jane Doe. Right. From everybody that took the stand justice was served I'm not gonna do anything to now jeopardize That after I just not that that would be my angle. Yeah. Yeah, I said the same thing What is the sentence again October? Oh, yeah, they're trying to move it up unless it's moved up Yeah, they're trying to move it up, but we'll see I think it's gonna stay in October October's around the corner It's not it is. It's not over now. Yeah's October now. Right, exactly. You're not wrong.
Starting point is 02:30:25 Can y'all believe it's August? Yo, it's summer. I can't believe that next week is August. And that's what July had in 31 days in his motherfuckin'. This shit still was fast. Super fast. Yep. Super fast.
Starting point is 02:30:37 So we're talking about courts and trials and stuff. Tory Lanez is going back to court on August 18th. Oral arguments begin in his bid to overturn his sentence. Good luck with that. Or at least transfer him to where R. Kelly's studio is at. I don't understand. They got an SSL in R. Kelly's studio. They got the big shit.
Starting point is 02:31:01 How do y'all think this will bode for Tori? I think it may help because he does have some politicians and stuff riding for him now. So, and they have people that are like petitioning the governor and these are actual lawmakers. So I think having them on your side kind of helps. Man, let those petitions be working though for me. No, no, I'm talking about,
Starting point is 02:31:24 I'm not talking about the petitions. I'm talking about people that are actually speaking out on his side. There are a lot more noises, a lot more noise about the Tory situation. I think it might help a little bit. Yeah, I think it might help. He may not get out that day, but I think, you know. I think the political pool could help with clemency. It could help with, what's the other thing you get?
Starting point is 02:31:49 Acceleration? Pardon, thank you. Clemency, pardon, something like that. And I think clemency could be warranted. I actually think he got too long of a sentence. And again, I think he's guilty. I just don't think he should have gotten that long of a sentence.
Starting point is 02:32:01 But the problem is, to get a sentence overturned, you gotta make a procedural, like there has to be issues like, you know, was it something procedural? Did he get an unfair trial? Is there new evidence? And those politicians can't really work with that unless something shady happened in behind the scenes. And I don't see Tory being powerful enough
Starting point is 02:32:17 to make that part happen. But I do think if you get the right people behind you in the right moment, you could maybe overturn or get clemency. And when the difference is a partner is basically saying you're no longer considered guilty. Clemency is you're still found guilty, but we can make the sentence shorter.
Starting point is 02:32:34 So you still found guilty, but now we can make it two years. We can make it three years, in which case it'd be time served already. So those are the different options. The challenge is, this was California. The governor is Gavin Newsom. Yep Gavin Newsom is what wants to be president The pathway to being a Democratic nominee for president is black women
Starting point is 02:32:56 Mmm, I don't see this will make you public enemy number one base making an anti-Megan the stallion Yeah, again, and I support Megan think she's right. But I'm saying take who's right and wrong. We just talk about pure politics. And agenda, yeah. Yeah, I don't see the governor of California pardoning Tory Lane's or commuting Tory Lane's a sentence at the expense of Megan the stallion. It seems to be that counter to his own political interests.
Starting point is 02:33:19 Interesting. Yeah, and that's just my. That's a good answer. That's just my hypothesis. I think it makes sense. That's just my hypothesis, but I think it makes sense. That means he's right, but... Well, I'm praying for Torrey. Hopefully he sees some good news. I don't know if he's seen any in a while.
Starting point is 02:33:33 So we shall see. We'll keep up to date with that. I meant to ask you guys off at a Malcolm Jamal conversation with R. Kelly. Did y'all see some of the heat that Tracee Ellis Ross was facing online about how she chose to memorialize Malcolm? No, I didn't know what you do She put out a bunch of pictures from their show when they were husband and wifey. He's right. Yeah, what's wrong? Okay? It was a lot yeah, it was a lot of pictures that were
Starting point is 02:34:04 Intimate dare I say. It was just very close. From the show? From the show, but it was a whole slide. It was a whole slideshow of five, six, seven pictures of y'all being husband and wife. Pull it up and look at it. I'd like your opinion on it.
Starting point is 02:34:22 I saw it. I think she did a lot and the backlash was warranted. She did a lot, which made me want to ask y'all. Is there a way that you shouldn't mourn publicly? Yes, because I think that this falls under that all this at this. These are press shots. Yes, I don't have a problem with shots. I don't have a problem with this. I don't have a problem with this.
Starting point is 02:34:48 A couple of these I would have cut out. Yeah. The one that shows called read between the lines. The one that has like the show title and all that, I think is fine. The last slide. The magazine cover, I think is fine. The penultimate slide, the second to last one,
Starting point is 02:35:02 I think just didn't need to happen. And I don't think she had bad intention. The one before that with the red dress, I think it's fine. That's fine. The first one... The quote on that one's a little wild. We have a great rapport. It's probably one of the best non-physical love affairs that I've ever had. I'll say this. If someone came in from another country just looking at this slide, they would assume they were together. And I think that's the concern people have. And I think that is just... It's a bad time when somebody is married with kids
Starting point is 02:35:28 and die on vacation with my daughter. My wife is over there, has to break the news to my other daughter that I'm no longer, like now ain't the time for your little TV show shots. I've never really been a fan of the whole, I gotta post our pictures together. I hate that. Like, I hate that. You can just put the whole, I gotta post our pictures together. I hate that. I hate that.
Starting point is 02:35:45 You can just put the picture up and say whatever you gotta say. You know. But it's like you're attaching to it to make it like, hey look, I knew them more than you. It's not about that right now. We don't give a fuck about that.
Starting point is 02:35:57 It's not about you right now. And I love Tracee Ellis Ross. I absolutely love Tracee Ellis Ross. But she could have posted all the pictures of Malcolm Jamal Warner without her involved. She could have just posted a headshot, boss. Like just a picture of him. Like you don't have to do the me and him.
Starting point is 02:36:13 How do you even hear the story that happened, right? Because the next day after we recorded, the news came out about his daughter swimming with him and now they saved her. Like the story got worse the more we heard. How do you hear this and be like, and hit send on all of these pictures of y'all too? I just don't see it.
Starting point is 02:36:31 I think if you have a platonic- I wouldn't do it. I wouldn't do it. I think if you have a platonic, and maybe her publicity seems, I don't know who did it, but I would say if you have a platonic relationship with somebody, you're not thinking that way.
Starting point is 02:36:42 Like I don't think she had ill intent, but I think it was just a bad choice. I think if you have a platonic relationship with somebody, you should not thinking that way. Like I don't think she had ill intent, but I think it was just a bad choice. I think if you have a platonic relationship with somebody, you should be thinking that way. I also do think, by the way, that it depends on her relationship with him and his husband and his family. Because if they have a super great relationship
Starting point is 02:37:00 and maybe have joked about some of these pictures and the roles they play on TV, fuck what the internet thinks. Nah, nah, I'm on no way. If God forbid. If y'all have such a great, and I'm using your premise, if you had the great relationship,
Starting point is 02:37:14 then that's more reason for you to not post this whole fucking slideshow. It ain't really about what the internet think. I'm not getting this from the internet. Sometimes the internet be right on shit. This one I think they kind of hit. Like, I think there's a sector of the internet where it's like the mamas and the aunties
Starting point is 02:37:30 that are like, hey, this is just in bad taste. So if, God forbid, Bill Cosby dies, he's going to die, we're all going to die, right? More. But let's say Bill Cosby dies. What? I'm just saying we're all going to die, right? Fine, then you slide up in the temple hall of fame. Right there.
Starting point is 02:37:44 Shit. Right. Fine. Then you slide up in the temple hall of fame. Right. Yeah. Would it be weird to see the classic Cosby show photos of like, you know, Rudy running the room in there in bed together with Felicia Rashad and I'm just trying to think of other TV husbands and wives. It would be 100% weird if Felicia Rashad did the same exact thing. Yep.
Starting point is 02:38:03 And she wouldn't. I'm just trying to think about. I was about to say, I don't even think she would do that. She wouldn't. I'm trying to think about what? I'm just talking about what other famous TV spouses would they post pictures of them as a couple. Like if I saw George and Weezy after Sherman Hemsley died,
Starting point is 02:38:13 how would I feel? You know, I don't know. Or maybe it's because they're more attractive. We never even seen them be romantic on the Jeffersons. Or there's reasons for that. Well. Yep. I was gonna say the censorship, that's all.
Starting point is 02:38:24 I was gonna say. Sure. that's all I was gonna say. Hey, I'm not telling nobody how to mourn. Rest in peace Malcolm Jamal Warner, my heart goes out to the people. Wait, hold on, what's wrong? No flip, nope. You didn't know that? Come on, stop.
Starting point is 02:38:39 Oh, he just found out something in real time. Oh, I love these moments. George Jefferson was what? George Jefferson was a dry cleaner in Queens. Jefferson, I love these moments. George Jefferson was what? George Jefferson was a dry cleaner in Queens. Jefferson cleaners, five locations. You didn't know that George Jefferson was a dry cleaner? No, he said something else. He said George Jefferson.
Starting point is 02:38:56 I'm telling you, he was, a lot of people didn't know this, but he was definitely a dry cleaner. He cleaned up the shit that was dry. Okay. A lot of people didn't know, and it wasn't common knowledge that he had those different stores,
Starting point is 02:39:08 but he was definitely out there. Or in there. Or in there. Yeah. Roll, I will say this. Fold and Sher... Village Voice. Village, he was definitely...
Starting point is 02:39:17 Actually... Fold and Sherwin Hemsley ass. Yeah, I was about to say, or the other one. Or the hell yeah, or that one. Yeah, I was about to say from where. so, all right, since we got here, I will say this, The Village Voice did a very important piece on Sherman Hemsley when he passed away. Sherman Hemsley was never out, so I don't want to out him.
Starting point is 02:39:35 But I will say that- Wait, he wasn't out? No, he was not. Come on, Mark. How did niggas know? Exactly. Because they got eyes and ears and, but I'm saying, he never publicly said that he was gay,
Starting point is 02:39:46 but after he died, many of his paramours and others have said that he was gay. His paramours. So we doing some, so we doing some Patti Labelle shit right now? That's why I mentioned the Village Voice and other people have already written stories about his sexuality.
Starting point is 02:40:01 Yeah, I would think that's why I mentioned that. I don't know him to be gay, so let me take that back. Other men did. It's fucked up when you take something back that you didn't say. Right. Like, I never said that. But Sherman Hemsley was known to be, yeah,
Starting point is 02:40:14 Sherman Hemsley was known to be queer. But he had a wife as well, right? Did he? I don't believe so, no. No, he never had kids. No. Never had kids, never had a wife, which is totally common for men of their era.
Starting point is 02:40:22 Okay, yeah, I understood. James Baldwin didn't either. Oh, there was them pictures. There was the pictures. Pictures? Your hard drive is different than mine. Sherman Hemsley don't have no Oscar de la Hoya-ish pics out there. Not that I know of, but I never did the Google search.
Starting point is 02:40:40 I'm not taking back. I'm not educated in this. Just watch him. Just watch the show. Go watch the Jeffers's again with that eye All them dance scenes the soul train scene when he when he made his foot when he made that album I was just trying to keep Tracy Ellis We got here but yeah, but yes, it's sure Ramsey was I support him anyway
Starting point is 02:41:00 Yeah, yeah, if one of y'all pass God forbid Yes, no reason not to. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Deacon Ernest Farage. If one of y'all pass, God forbid, you know what I'm thinking, we'll be in bad taste, and I'm off to the Tracy Ellis shit. I'm just a new scenario.
Starting point is 02:41:13 For your ex to start posting, or some of your old work to start posting a bunch of pictures that they have in their phone that have never been published of y'all just looking a little romantic. Yes, it will be in bad taste. Of course they're going to do it. They're going to, you know what they do
Starting point is 02:41:26 when they don't got the pictures? They go post conversations. Yeah. So I think about that a lot. It's weird, but I have a thing. I think about like, if my exes die, the ones who were moderately public, like how would I
Starting point is 02:41:39 commemorate them? Right, and mourn them. Do you even mention that you were with them? No. Like if it's your ex, do you mention them. Like, do you even mention that you were with them? No. Like, if it's your ex, do you mention like, hey, this is my ex, you know, I was rest in peace, we missed you, loved you, we were this, now we're not, you know.
Starting point is 02:41:52 No, I don't think you have to. You don't have to. You don't have to, you're rest in peace. Just rest in peace. Or nothing. I think even doing that. I think even doing that is taking their moment and making it about you.
Starting point is 02:42:04 Mm-hmm, mm-hmm, I think you're right. Like there's no reason, you could say everything, you could put up a beautiful rest in peace paragraph or whatever, you still don't have to mention the past relationship between you. Yeah, you don't have to do that. Or a photo, and I think, I moved away from the, I used to be part of the people,
Starting point is 02:42:21 sometimes when somebody died, I'd post a photo of me with them, depending on who they were, and now I don't even want, go my countryman Warner and other people I didn't want to do that because I just I'm at that point now where it feels like people are doing it as a status thing That's literally that's why yeah. Yeah. Yeah Only the but the immediate family are only when I feel comfortable posting pictures of him media family to do whatever they want Yeah, I'm shocked you niggas not you niggas, but I'm shocked y'all niggas out there
Starting point is 02:42:45 even got so many pictures with people. Like for real. Niggas is moving around, yeah. Maybe one time before somebody died, I was like, you know what, let me hit this little pic. That was like from 07, I couldn't find it. Y'all have access to these pictures, dude, you niggas are crazy.
Starting point is 02:43:00 Oh man, Tracy, y'all just do what you want, man. You royalty. We love you. You royalty, do whatever you want. Y'all see the JLo and Mariah Beif still out there? No. Is that a, what is, what's? They're dropping music on the same day.
Starting point is 02:43:12 Oh. And it brings up, I mean, I guess you have to be in the know about JLo and Mariah for it to matter. If you're from the 19s. Yeah, yeah, yeah. If you're from the 19s, them dropping music on the same day is a thing. So now oniktok all the kids are fucking that little learning their history Mariah Shansia Kehlani shit's on it all right from the snippet i heard i didn't hear the whole record
Starting point is 02:43:33 it did sound good yeah it sounded good Shansia's fire Kehlani is fire her last song didn't get enough credit off folded that song is absolutely her Shansia Kehlani's rebrand everything she's doing is fire but Mariah gonna go get with who she need to get with. J-Lo on the other hand, some conversations need to be had about her. J-Lo did an interesting move to me after she moved out of the hip hop space. And when she started making global music,
Starting point is 02:43:55 I don't know how people feel about J-Lo here, but when you go to Latin America, or you go even up in the Middle East, J-Lo be everywhere. You hear that music everywhere. When I first heard J-Lo versus Mariah in terms of a release date, I was like, that's crazy. But J-Lo in the global market might win that battle. In terms of sales.
Starting point is 02:44:12 Ooh, I don't know. I can see that. That's a hot take. I can see that. I can't see it. Mariah's a lot. In the global market, I can see that. I'm talking about global.
Starting point is 02:44:20 Sold. Like Mariah's last project, do? Mariah sells Christmas time now. True. That counts. But even before Christmas time, she has a lot of records sold. She might be one of the top five top selling artists of all time. From all the records.
Starting point is 02:44:37 All the time. But right now? J-Lo dropping now, I get what Mark is saying. Yeah. On the international market. And right now. I mean, 10 years ago though. They're all going to make me go find
Starting point is 02:44:46 whatever J Lo's single is and play it against Mariah's. It ain't about, we wouldn't be the market for it though. That's kind of the point. Right. You play that record here and Mariah's record probably 100 times better. But we not the market that's, we talking global market. They don't give a fuck about that record.
Starting point is 02:45:03 Right. Her last album was in 2018 It's all this is Mariah only sold 51,000 which is I'm shocked Yeah, yeah, yeah, but let's put numbers in perspective There are some older acts that are dropping canceling tour struggling to sell 10,000 you for sure So that 50 though it may sound low like let's look up our jailo I have right has sold over two hundred and twenty million records while jail I sold around eighty records yeah I don't even think they
Starting point is 02:45:34 belong in the same conversation yeah anybody that puts them in the same conversation is doing some fucking I think it's the losing to put him the same conversation last album which is this is me now right twenty four eighteen thousand yes stop it and they viewed it number one don't I don't care don't same conversation. JLo's last album was 2024, 18,000. Yeah, stop it. And they viewed it at number one. Don't, I don't care. Don't worry about YB to death. She sold 18. Mariah about to, it did 50. It's not the same world today. And Mariah's... Listen, maybe I feel different if you play a song that speaks to what you're
Starting point is 02:46:00 saying from JLo, but the fact that we ain't heard it, y'all ain't heard it. We don't know it. to what you're saying from J-Lo, but the fact that we ain't heard it, y'all ain't heard it, we don't know it. And the funny thing is, I'm reading further, that last J-Lo album, which goes against what me and Mark was sitting here saying, it says, this is me now, saw virtually
Starting point is 02:46:16 no traditional album sales outside North America. Oh, that's interesting. With most of its global consumption being streaming. Was that a global music album, though? I don't honestly remember what the last album was. I don't know. Again, I'm not remarketing. Because J-Lo started doing this interesting thing
Starting point is 02:46:33 where she made some albums, like domestic albums, US music, and then she made some. International. And then she did a Spanish language music, which is different. That's where she was really cooking people. And then she learned Spanish. She really did.
Starting point is 02:46:44 That was the crazy part. Yeah, because on No Man Makes, I was really cooking people. And then she learned Spanish. Yeah. She really didn't. That was the crazy part. Yeah, because on No Man's Eye makes, I was like, ooh, that's some interesting Spanish. But yeah, but she got busy with the Spanish by the end. Be one more can of that. Shout out to whoever taught J.Lo Spanish. We love you J.Lo, I do. And she loves J.Lo.
Starting point is 02:46:57 Oh yeah, she definitely does. It ain't hard to get it, nevermind. Yo, can I ask y'all something? I want to know if something is racist, because my answer's always yes. So I want to get a different gauge. There is an ad campaign that came out for American Eagle. Oh, yes.
Starting point is 02:47:15 Yes. Whatever you about to say is racist. Joe, can you play it? Yes, I can play it. But if you said that you want to buy the jeans, I'm not going to stop you. But as it were clear, this is not me telling you to buy American Eagle jeans. Sidney Sweeney, Hasbro Kings. You see what I did there, right? Jeans are passed down from parents to offspring.
Starting point is 02:47:57 Sidney Sweeney got no ass. She got a nice, she got that ass the white dudes like. My jeans are blue. Sidney Sweeney, Asgard Kings. What's racist about this? Her. Okay, I get it. Well, she had a magical moment a couple years ago,
Starting point is 02:48:15 so I mean, that's possible. It's possible. But I didn't hear the racism in this. I don't know anything about who this person is. So I don't know Sidney Sweeney. She's an actress, she was in Euphoria and has had a bunch of other roles since. She was in Euphoria.
Starting point is 02:48:28 White Lotus. Tracks. More racist shit. Yeah. But so obviously people are saying that this promotes eugenics or the idea of superior genes. White people, you know, there's the Hitler, Hitlerian, you know, philosophy,
Starting point is 02:48:45 that Aryans were superior, that blind hair, blue eyes were superior traits. She's literally sitting there with blind hair, blue eyes, and mentions her eyes, her body, and she's saying, I have great genes. And she's talking about genes being passed down and mentioning the eyes. So she's playing-
Starting point is 02:48:59 While selling genes. While selling genes, and she's playing on the- Okay, okay. Genes, you know what I mean? What was the dude from- That nigga's a d- The Marvels that stretched? That's one of them. Mr. Fantastic?
Starting point is 02:49:09 That's a Mr. Fantastic. So here's the issue for me. I got sent this with the question, is this racist? So I was already watching it with that question in my mind. So my question is always to people, if I just showed it to y'all, some of y'all on during the break, do you have any reaction to this without saying why I thought that?
Starting point is 02:49:28 So like Joe, when you saw it, did you ever thought on it immediately? Yeah. And what was your thought? She ain't gonna know I asked. Okay, Joe had two thoughts. She got a call board. She didn't have no ass,
Starting point is 02:49:39 but that's that ass that the white dudes be like, it look like a nice Utah ass. Little eye hole ass. My second thought, I don't know who this lady is. Third, without her doing this ad, I feel away about American Eagle, Aero Pastel, who's the other one, Urban Outfitters. There's another one, there's another one.
Starting point is 02:50:00 Damn, what's that fucking, huh? And I'm like, girl, that way, have a coffee. Anyway, I saw a dog The dude that came up with some of these stores and how he was on racist bullshit Also, if you know enough about marketing, you know that there are these dog whistles in marketing whereas Yeah, this could take on the personality of maybe somebody behind the scenes. You don't know so all sounds racist to me. I
Starting point is 02:50:22 personality of maybe somebody behind the scenes that you don't know. So, all sounds racist to me. I think the most generous read I could give it is they definitely were playing with the jeans versus the jeans double entendre. Right. And they're saying she has superior jeans because she's attractive and because she has this stuff.
Starting point is 02:50:36 Were they trying to pass on Nazism? Maybe not. I think that might be the story. If she would've said blonde hair, blue eyes, I would be totally on board with it. But they showed her with the blonde hair and mentioned the blue eyes. She has blonde hair. I mean.
Starting point is 02:50:47 And they picked her for the ads. See what I'm saying? Like, if you're going to, if someone were doing that, they would want us to be having this conversation. They want to get plausible deniability. If you say blonde hair, blue eyes, it's too obvious. It's over the top. So you got to do one, if it's true.
Starting point is 02:51:01 If it's not true, then this was just a really irresponsible ad. And you know, because we're having this conversation. If I'm selling jeans, I don't want people asking if it's Nazi or not. Yes, you do. Nobody believes that American Eagle has the best jeans. Nobody believes that. No, yes, you do. We're helping him out right now. Leo, I always go back to H&M, Coolest Monkey in the Jungle shirt.
Starting point is 02:51:22 And everybody said, how could you all put that out? We went crazy talking about that. Outrage marketing works on us. That's a really good point. I don't think black people buy it, man. No, no, but it makes white people. It makes us talk about it. We react and we get on cameras and do all of this.
Starting point is 02:51:39 We're boycotting and they're racist, racist, racist. We bring attention to it where other people might even miss it. And then the Fox News viewers who hate our outrage buy two of those shirts. That's possible. And so I could see the argument for, again, I don't. On one hand, I like the fact that we are more conscious of the dog whistles.
Starting point is 02:51:58 On the other hand, I'm kind of tired of people trying to find the race angle and everything. Race angle and everything. You know what I'm saying? So I'm in the middle. As you get older, you see things. And when Joe said that,
Starting point is 02:52:09 yo, I'm starting to see things, I went and said, oh shit, he brought it to my attention. It's like the shit where they have the new content thing that they have all the dancing people in the video when they say, your eyes may play tricks on you. Like, let's test your vision. So when I say that to say when he brought it up
Starting point is 02:52:27 and I start to pay attention now, I start to see a couple of things, but I'm also tired of people looking for racism in every little thing. It's like, okay, so is everything going to be racist? Are we really that much divided? We came far, are we really that much divided in the world? You know what I mean?
Starting point is 02:52:43 Then on top of that, if you feel that way, then petitions and all that stuff we're signing and trying to speak to the local government may not work because we outnumber tremendously anyway. So then now what's the solution? Where are we when it comes to that? If you understand what I'm saying, Ma. For me, it's about like,
Starting point is 02:53:00 what's the impact of this particular thing? Got it. I have another question. Yeah. Once you're done with your talk. So for me it's like, how do we at least have the consciousness that if they're going to put these ads up, we have the critical media literacy
Starting point is 02:53:12 that's strong enough that when it comes up, we can talk to our children about that. Because for me, it's, I'm not outraged. It's just, I don't want another group of, for example, black girls to grow up looking at that image, or black boys.
Starting point is 02:53:25 Thinking they're less than. Got it. Thinking that they're less than or thinking that superior genes means looking like her. Even if that, let's say it's not the intent of the creators. I have no idea what's in their brain. But that's still a potential consequence. And so for me, that's the question.
Starting point is 02:53:36 So I'm less worried about writing petitions, although I see why people do that. Mark is tricky, because I feel like sometimes you do the work for these people. Like, and I told you that with the fucking CNN shit, and this is one of those examples again. Like, this is the most I will talk about American Eagle
Starting point is 02:53:51 for the next three years. Right. They're not marketing. Not just you, but a lot of us out there who are out there going. This audience ain't ever going to have a a 20 minute talk about American Eagle. I agree with what they're doing. I agree with you about what they're doing, but they also not doing it for us.
Starting point is 02:54:12 Right. They doing it to tell the people that know what they're doing, that this is how we own it. See, I disagree there. I think they are doing it to get free advertising from us. Yeah, I hear that. I really think that's what a lot of, I think somebody sits behind there and say,
Starting point is 02:54:27 yo, we play it just this way and we know we can piss them off, it'll go. I also wonder if that- What's the last American, what's this, American Eagle? American Eagle. What's the last American Eagle ad any of us even seen? Let alone talked about. Haven't seen one in years.
Starting point is 02:54:41 That's my point again. So you think they actually knew what they were doing? Yes. I thought it was one of those, we don't got no black years. That's my point again. So you think they actually knew what they were doing? Yes. I thought it was one of those, we don't got no black people in the room, this is a blind spot kind of moment. No, no, I think it's done with the day.
Starting point is 02:54:51 Vox had a question. I wonder if there's going to be any other ads, I'm trying to look on their IG to see if they have any non-white folks. It looks like they have some people of some level of ethnicity on their page, but I wonder if they will play into the same thing like, oh, I have good jeans, I have curly hair, or I have good jeans, I have brown eyes.
Starting point is 02:55:10 That would be great. And if I were them right now, and I were operating in good faith, and we just fucked up, then I'd be on the phone right now to the curliest, darkest models in the world. And if they do that, I'll come in here and give every apology to American Eagle. I didn't know that. I wasn't familiar with your game. I would right away go get Alondra. That's real shit.
Starting point is 02:55:27 That's real shit. I don't apologize. I mean, hold up, don't fix their business for them for free. Fuck them niggas. I hear that too. I'm telling them who to go get. Take a movie. Right.
Starting point is 02:55:36 But thank you for that. Yeah. We do that a lot up here. We correct a lot of things up here. Yeah, I know. And I'm down to do it. I think you're the only one that really, I catch onto it a lot. I see the after effects, but know, and I'm down to do it. I think you're the only one that really, I catch onto it a lot.
Starting point is 02:55:46 I see the after effects, but do you ever? You can't call me a nigga and then me tell you which tone to use to make it more palatable. Like, no, man, no. I'm sorry I'm doing it again. I'll come back to you. Sorry, hey. It must feel good to have a strong voice.
Starting point is 02:56:01 And I mean that. A lot of things that you've said up here before, and that's why sometimes when we talk, we like, man, this thing, I have to have an insider on some of these situations. We see people change things, and I don't like the word I use, the phrase, in real time, you know, after we talk about it. Listen, niggas like white ass, man. That too. Niggas like white ass.
Starting point is 02:56:24 Saha, I'm waiting for his album. He fucking threw up the, threw up the half court shot to Yes Jules. Y'all see that? I just know that's who he is. I see. Uh, yo Saha. Is this your hard response?
Starting point is 02:56:37 Saha, Jay-E-Lek, it's a few of y'all. If y'all really wanna be there with the mission, you gotta give up that milk. You can't, what I did. Hey, sorry. Hey, my cousin Walter wouldn't do it. No, cousin Walter wouldn't do it. Y'all know how cousin Walter,
Starting point is 02:56:54 cousin Walter with none of that. At all. Sorry, sorry. Yo, Jess, somebody tweeted, women don't like the good guys and the guys that open the car door and shiver or whatever and then Jess Jules said said if I met one of those guys I would love to have a chance with him with him to be in my do I give him the chance
Starting point is 02:57:12 every day he goes I go retweet it so much you've been around him already a lot nigga why every time I get fly with this makeup. And then she said. I didn't see nothing after that. She was like, yes, but we were working back then. Something like that. Aw man, I'm done. We were just working back then. Go ahead and praise White Ass, White Ass is nice.
Starting point is 02:57:37 It is nice. Just White Ass. Just not all of it. What else is important? What else is important? Let's see Clarissa Shields. I want to go see her. You go first. Well, Pap is my brother and I love him. I do too. Shout out to Pap. I'm rolling with the people that say this look like it's her first boyfriend. I'm sorry. I'm rolling. That shit with the
Starting point is 02:58:05 Papoose tattoo right underneath the titty where it ain't really. And then you've got the titty fighting underneath so you pull the titty so we can see the fact that is nuts dog. But I love Papoose so and I support black love. Shout out to her on her fight. She whipped ass. She whipped ass. Didn't get the knockout which I wanted to see but she got she got busy yeah sure he was running for sure she got busy yeah good fight that girlfriend make it tough to co-parent I'll tell you that one that's what I can say let me get it off done for a minute if it was me and my new girl got the Joe button tattoo under the
Starting point is 02:58:42 titty it was like yeah playing the baby then right after that we have another baby that another bit my co-parenting situation. It's the best fighter in the world would yeah, it would be tough It would be you don't shout the bad boost. That's that's my In the public eye it kind of looked like you went in the breakup, too Yeah, it make'll make it tough. And then we go into the fight and my baby mom just there right on the other side of the stand it up too. I'm not touching this topic. Yeah, please. I'm out of here. Thank you. Hey, and see, hey, hold up. You got it. All right. Who's ready to hear a Fantastic Four review?
Starting point is 02:59:26 I am, I am. I did get around, because we talked about last pod, I did get around to go see Fantastic Four and. It was an apology. Apology? Yes, you see I wasn't rushing to go see it. Which I didn't do. I don't expect it to be good.
Starting point is 02:59:41 I said Marvel's peaked, which I still believe they have. It wasn't terrible. Did you like the movie? I did like the movie. I did like it. Was it good? I'm not going to say like, oh my god, it's amazing. Rush out to go see it. I liked the movie.
Starting point is 02:59:53 It been out a week. How you didn't rush to see it? Because I watched the bootleg stream. I didn't rush to go see it. No, you didn't go to the movie, did you? No. And you waited like four days? Yeah.
Starting point is 03:00:03 Yeah. Usually, me? Or was it his first day? My nigga, I go on the movie did you? And you waited like four days? Yeah. Yeah, real Marvel. Me? Marvel has first day. I go on the Thursday to go watch this shit in the theater the day before it even drops on the normal. Got it. So for me this is not rushing, that's all.
Starting point is 03:00:13 Got it. But nah, the movie was surprisingly good. I thought I was kind of over Marvel. This does set me up to look forward to Doomsday, Avengers which is next December. And Galactus gonna kill all you niggas. They, they, I, I. Hey, hey, I ain't see it yet.
Starting point is 03:00:32 I got nine tickets to go see it tonight, but I saw a picture of Galactus, with fuckin' Mr. Reed, spun around like, stretching that nigga like, Just like this, right? Mm. This little stretch. This little string cheese is out there,
Starting point is 03:00:44 this motherfuckin'. Yeah, yeah, exactly, like, what's This little stretch trick you can do. Yeah, yeah exactly, like what's the cheese shit? The polio string cheese. Yo, he fucking, I'm going to see this. I already, I can't wait till the next part. Why would Mr. Reed step to Galactus like that? That nigga's like, what is this little trick you can do? I'm going to stretch you out.
Starting point is 03:01:02 I love seeing it too, man. Galactus is a trick. But it was all right though. Again, I'm not mad at it. I'm gonna see it too then. Good luck. But it was all right though. Again, I'm not mad at it. That's all I got. I don't want to spoil anything, but it does set up for what's next. You've been saying that for some years.
Starting point is 03:01:15 What? Oh, this is, okay, it sets up for what's next. Well, yeah, and then it had to abandon the whole fucking multiverse shit. Yeah. Oh yeah, because of the DeMajor, right? They were setting up, and then they just went, they never finished.
Starting point is 03:01:29 Whoopsie. That white ass again. That white ass. That white ass. White ass. I wanted to ask about John DeMajor last time. I forgot the topic, but he was like, oh, we closed out on the topic.
Starting point is 03:01:42 I still didn't see Magazine Dreams. Amazing. I didn't see it. Hmm. Do you think that, oh, I think it was about, who had an issue with a white lady recently? Everybody. Most people. Yeah. Come on, man, come on.
Starting point is 03:01:58 Somebody recently had an issue, we were talking about it. I need more than that. If we playing heads up, I need more. Someone had an issue with a white lady. Yeah, come on, come on. I need more than that. If we playing heads up, I need more. Someone had an issue with the white man. Come on, come on. The time running out. The time running out.
Starting point is 03:02:11 Somebody had an issue. All right, skip it, skip it. No, don't skip it. Keep going. Who you talking about, Flip? Oh, okay, okay. Shannon Sharp, how the situation with Shannon Sharp played out, right? I wanted to ask last time, do you think that there's any hopes for Jonathan Mayer to be What are you talking about, please? Oh, okay, okay. Shannon Sharp, how the situation with Shannon Sharp played out, right?
Starting point is 03:02:25 Mm-hmm. Right? I wanted to ask last time, do you think that there's any hopes for Jonathan Majors to overcome that? Meaning that, Mark, because you make a face and I'm about to get at you. Not about your content.
Starting point is 03:02:36 I just, my brain went somewhere else. Can you help me a little bit? Because Mel's not here. Meaning that Shannon Sharp and the young lady came up to an agreement where they didn't acknowledge, they acknowledged it was consensual. They acknowledged the relationship was consensual. Yeah the relationship was consensual that's what I mean and then we said that that was opening the door back for him to work at
Starting point is 03:02:54 ESPN. Potentially yeah. So do you think that with the situation with Jonathan Majors do you think that there's anything? Oh I think he's back in the game. Oh you think he's back in the game. I think they both were affected the same way, like with Shannon Sharp. Before Shorty's allegations and everything, you were possibly looking at a $100 million deal. Right. He was. Right, right. I don't think you're looking
Starting point is 03:03:13 at a $100 million deal today. So even if you get back to ESPN, it's not at the level that you were about to get before. I think the same thing applies with Jonathan Majors, where you are about to go with Disney, and as far as that goes, it's not the same now. You might get your back, but now it's gonna be a little different.
Starting point is 03:03:32 Disney said that the Villains now are stronger than King. So stupid shit somebody said. Yeah, they botched a lot of that. I'm interested in seeing what happens next. Next coming to ZDMAC. Some good news out there for you music fans, R&B fans in particular, the 25th anniversary of Mama's Gun is this fall, Erykah Badu. Isn't that crazy?
Starting point is 03:03:54 25th anniversary. That's sick. And she just announced a new tour. So she's going to... She's touring with Elle, isn't she? Yeah, so this is like, that tour is kind of ending and now she's launching a new Mama's Gun tour. I think she's launching a new Mamas Gun Tour. I think she's just performing that album.
Starting point is 03:04:07 Great. So she's coming to our area. She's going to be in Brooklyn. And get your tickets now. I bought mine yesterday, and it was like limited seats left, even a second market. I thought you would have known Erica. No, you know, there's one person I've never met.
Starting point is 03:04:18 What? I didn't know. We're like one degree separation in a million ways, but never met her. But I bought seats. But I'm just saying, it's limited seats, but she's traveling all around million ways, but never met her. But I bought seats, but I'm just saying it's limited seats, but she's traveling all around the country from now through December.
Starting point is 03:04:29 So it's dope. And again, like you, I'm like 25th anniversary, it's crazy. I'm seeing that. Yeah, it's worth it. I'm definitely going to see that. It's at Brooklyn and- King's Theater. King's Theater.
Starting point is 03:04:39 Oh, I'm not going to see that. That's why I added that. I tried to tell you. I'm not going to see that. I thought it was pretty interesting. King's Theater's nice. That's why I added that. I tried to tell you. I'm not going to say that. I thought it was pretty interesting. King's Theatre is nice. I will catch the Erika Badu show at another stop.
Starting point is 03:04:51 She'll be in Atlantic City if you want to go down there. You'll pop out there anyway. I'll do that before I do fucking, they both trash off shit. I was just kidding. I'll do Atlantic City, at least you can make a fucking drive out of it. That's what I'm saying, it's at least an adventure. Wait, hold up. What theatre is in Atlantic City? It's you could make a fucking drive out of it. That's what I'm saying. It's at least an adventure, yeah. Nigga, wait, hold up. What theater is in Atlantic City?
Starting point is 03:05:07 It's in... Probably at the Bugata or something. And that's better than Kingston in there? No, Atlantic City is the one. They got the shit at Hard Rock. It's the one where everybody perform at. It's at Hard Rock. Have you been to Kingston before?
Starting point is 03:05:14 Yeah. Yeah, that's where she's at. Hard Rock Loft, that's the one. Hard Rock Loft ain't bad. No, it's not. I wanted to go see Kevin Hart down there. I feel like that's how Joe Scott there, 242. That's all, but it's nice.
Starting point is 03:05:24 But it's deep in Brooklyn, yo. Yeah, it's definitely deep in Brooklyn. It's deep I was gonna see Kevin Hart down and just got there to for to it's nice, but his deep in Brooklyn is definitely even it's deep in people, parking the bag. They got a you'll park it. Yeah, but I'm not sitting in. I'm not being chauffeur to that. The tour with Alchemist is interesting, so they have an album coming out and that's where you go here before it gets released right. That's fire. That's pretty interesting. Did you love the first single? No. Me either and I wanted to. It was just cool. Yeah, it was cool. Yeah, I was
Starting point is 03:05:51 actually disappointed because Eric has such a great ear. He usually puts out nothing but he especially as a first single. I was a little surprised at this one. I mean it's just because it was the same sample that he has a classic move before. Right. So for me it's like, yeah, but I'm sure the album. Well, a cool G rap. Right. But the album is gonna be fire. I have no doubt. Eric ain't put out a bad album in her life and I don't think she's like, eh. But I'm sure the album. Cool G rap. Right. But the album is going to be fire, I have no doubt. Erica ain't put out a bad album in her life and I don't think she's going to start now. Yeah, I'm with you on that.
Starting point is 03:06:08 Yeah. Anything else in music need us? No. I don't think so. Anything else in pop culture need us? No. I think we need a sleeper. Yeah?
Starting point is 03:06:20 Yeah. Let me just check. Let me just look at my phone, no. So all them notes is critiques on us, niggas? Yeah. Yeah. Let me just check. Let me just look at my phone, though. So all them notes is critiques on us, niggas? Yeah. No, but what happened was I never made a new topic list. So this is from the part that I'm just... Oh, you just added.
Starting point is 03:06:37 Who's adding to your list? Okay. Last time you came with notes and critiques on us. He was crushed. It was like, wait, what? I can't believe that, well, I can't believe it, nevermind, nevermind.
Starting point is 03:07:21 I guess because I saw Taylor move up here and kind of ingratiate herself in the New York scene and just be Dedicated to the work. Yeah, like she came up here from Chicago Whatever and was dedicated to the work and things started happening for a rather fast So maybe I missed when she turned into such a sex symbol for everyone. Yeah But happen it happened. It happened fast. It happened. Congratulations to Taylor and her husband. I absolutely love the no phone rule at a wedding. I love Stay Low and Build. She's just popping out. Yeah, I love that. I'm with the internet though.
