The thoughts, views, and opinions expressed by this podcast
as well as its hosts are for entertainment purposes only.
I repeat, it is not serious.
It is not real.
No one is exposing, revealing, indicting,
or telling you anything about themselves.
Also, we do not encourage you to try this at home.
We are trained professionals who do not have your best interests at heart or our own.
Enjoy the show.
No, no, no.
See, and that's how it, and he always does this at the top.
Yes, he does.
I'm not going to let him do it.
It's a trick.
It is a trick for the Joe Button podcast to start with some flip shit.
We ain't talking to flip shit.
But it's hard not to when, like, I almost punch you in the face just now.
We always do that same shit before the camera go on.
It's right.

I wouldn't even try.
You don't trust yourself?
No, I just don't want the conflict potentially in my house.
You know, you can't get that off, so there's no point.
You troubleshoot the problem before it even happened.
Yeah, I'm good.
I won't even try.
I'm cool.
How about you?
I've already said no.
She went on me out.
What's the middle ground?
Trayball with a nanny, though.
And you could just still be with your wife, the nanny.
Go put the kid to sleep, then come put y'all to sleep?
Tricky, though.
I would pitch it.
Tricky.
I would pitch it.
Tricky.
But I don't see success.
Might as well get a sister away
For that point.
Nanny might have that magnesium.

Everybody looks well-rested.
Yes.

Y'all look like y'all put some cologne on.
It's looking good, looking good.
Anybody do anything fun this weekend?
I was outside for a little bit, but nothing too exciting.
Just a little bar hopping, local bar hopping.
Not a man.
Yeah, a couple local.
Nick has said himself up all the time for this, yo.
We ain't do shit this weekend, bro.
That's it.
We ain't do nothing.
Well, that's not true, actually.
Well, I was arrested.
Huh?
So you did?
I feel like you did something then.
So I want to get into that later on.
I don't want to make it about flip, but I was arrested.
Mr. Commercial, I had a commercial.
Shout to Nigel Sylvester.
I missed a whole commercial that I was a part of a TV commercial because I was arrested.
And to call back, I was saying to myself, I don't want to say what wasn't meant for me, whatever that line.
I said, I don't want to say that line.
I got to take accountability.
Do we have an intervention?
Huh?
Do we have to have an intervention?
No, no, no, no.
Team home will hit you, but that was...
My wife said, and I flipped on it.
I said, no, you can't say that I put myself in this position.
You can't say, oh, maybe the commercial wasn't meant for you.
No, that's not true.
I wrote around my license plate off.
I knew there was something.
In New Jersey?
No, not Jersey.
No, in New York.
But remember when I came in with my finger cut that time?
Remember?
Yeah.
The incident, my brother-in-law went to the police.
So that's what it was.
So they put something called an eye card out.
Is that a warrant?
Yeah, eye card is a warrant.
One is for investigation.
One is for arrest.
saw who I was, they just upped it.
But everything is saying came.
I talk about it later on Patreon.
Okay.
You know what I mean?
I think that's real quick, Joe.
I know I don't want to take a...
I just think that an eye card is dangerous.
Anyone could go to the priest and just say something about you
and then they put an eye card out for your arrest.
I think that's very reckless of the system.
I think it's an abuse of the system.
I think it's dumb.
But the thing that the eye card was about, did you do it?
I did it, but the story was twisted.
Got it.
Yeah.
Got it.
The story was twisted.
Then that's messed up.
I think it's very dangerous.
But other than it.
than that, man.
I told my wife this thing.
That's fucked up, right?
I have a different take.
What's that take?
I didn't know what else to say.
I didn't think it's.
I was trying to put it.
People think we got beef ladd.
That wasn't the moment.
Yeah.
I tried to support my man.
That's fucked up.
Defund the cops.
No, no, not defunding.
If I go, if I go, if I go to the precinct and I say,
say me and you get to a scuffle, you get the best of me,
but I pushed you first.
Sounds legit.
Yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And I just say, you, Mark Lamont Hill, push me.
and I dislocated my shoulder.
I'm leaving important details
and they put out a warrant for your arrest.
I got you.
The eye card is supposed to be
it's two of types,
one for investigation
and one for arrest.
They went straight up to the arrest.
Well, we can talk about that
on our America's Most Wanted segment.
Yeah, let's do it.
See, this is why I want to say that
you suck-ass nigger.
Sorry, you crazy-ass nigger.
I was bringing this up to highlight
the positive that Isch did
in the hood with the turkey drive.
Oh.
Come on, turkey drive.
You did a turkey drive?
Come on, man.
I've seen it on the gram.
Why you didn't tell nobody?
Why you ain't telling me how to went out there?
I went to right now.
I swear to God violates you.
Yo, why you?
What's wrong with you?
Yeah, you look at that water.
Ish, man.
I got some turkey.
You know I would have showed up.
Why you ain't?
I mean, it wasn't.
Was it just for like drug dealers and like?
You know, that's what the drug dealers do.
No, that's what's what's a reformed drug dealer thing.
Now, how you know that nigga's, yo?
Yeah, this naker's a nutcase.
I hate that you do that.
It was on the grave.
It's on the secret.
It was?
Yeah.
Before or afterward?
Just now.
No, it was a...
My people...
One of the contributors tag me.
No, we had a turkey driving north.
All over Newark.
All of the wards.
Razz Baraka shout to Raz and Minnie.
Faith Evans, myself.
A couple people.
You, Raz Baraka and Faith?
You spoke to Faith?
He spoke the Faith?
He spoke the Vigas.
He's playing so much.
I'm on fire!
I just feel like...
Remember what's Sesame Street?
Like one of these...
You know, you're a...
You spoke of the faith?
That's me, Trinch.
But, Judge.
Rasmoracusate.
One of these keys.
It's an idiot.
This fire, though.
I ain't got no.
You're a fool.
I didn't see it.
I thought it was a lot.
It was a great turnout.
Let me see.
Natchez was crowded.
This shit.
This is amazing.
Where was this at?
Week wait.
But they did it at a bunch of different high schools around the city.
That one that I participated in was at weekweight.
But, yeah.
How many turkeys y'all give out?
Shit.
You see it?
Bro, it was thousands and thousands.
and thousands of people they had done.
That's what up.
My man, it is a lot of.
I'm gonna keep with a buck.
I'm kind of, you know, I said,
why you ain't hit us up?
I'm kind of glad you did.
That was a lot of shit.
They gave me away.
So much food, bro.
It was crazy.
And again, they ran out.
Like, they had thousands of turkeys, my nigga.
Is this just, like, first step?
It was some fine turkey list, chicks to you?
Is this your first step?
Is this your first step?
A couple of times.
A couple of dives.
Get right to a lot.
A little.
Get right to it.
Yeah, come, what they were looking like.
What the turkey list joints were looking like,
they was like, and they needed help.
Look at the perks of charity, man.
I walk you to your car, ma'am.
They got a car.
Your cart.
Hey, y'all, I hope you push it down the block of the project.
I mean, he said your car.
Let me push your car with you, baby.
Which building you at?
Yeah.
Oh, yeah.
Okay, you're on the road of a politician.
I see you.
That's how to start.
Yeah.
Right.
You seen what he doing.
You're seen with...
Clean that money.
First you clean that money, then you get your rep right.
Hey!
I see what he doing.
I see what he doing.
I see what you doing.
I see what you doing.
Yeah.
You become a politician to watch what he do.
And you better still come to work, too.
I did you try to become a politician and do like some mayor's office podcast in Newark.
Niggas to fuck you up.
You think if Ish was a politician, he'd get you out?
Yes.
Mark, you think so?
I think he would.
I think he would.
Ice?
Yeah.
I think it's would.
Yeah, he's throwing the eye card out.
Fast?
Yes.
Yeah.
He went to so much you.
Not fast.
He would have only because you procrastinate.
That's what I'm saying.
Nah, never.
I'm gonna procrastinate.
I'm gonna make the car.
I'm gonna make,
I'm gonna make, what do you do fast except for that one thing?
Oh, shit.
Come fast?
Wow.
What else?
I don't know.
Why?
My leg.
My leg.
Why you move?
Girl.
Sorry, gratitude.
Why are you moving?
Why are you moving fast?
Why you move so quick?
A fool, yo.
Niggin, would you get niggas out fast?
No.
You don't get niggins out.
What about I say?
I wouldn't even call him.
I think that shit's so whack, yo.
You know your man got it.
He got a chance to do it.
You have no prize.
He's going to leave you in there.
You got to sit for him on the men.
Now, once you go, I'll put something on the books.
I'll send something in there, so you are all.
So you get all the tablets you want.
All the what?
Tablets.
Tablets.
You let you get all the posters you need.
Your dog, how many tablets you need?
How many tablets you need?
Oh, you might have to pay some niggas off
or you could do what y'all did.
What's that?
Y'all who?
Stop for a while.
What?
What we did?
We could do what y'all did.
And join.
Who y'all?
Who is y'all?
So how did y'all get in?
I'm getting where.
I'm giving you guys.
I'm making the nix too.
I met the nix too.
You didn't say no hustle.
Why didn't be front?
I ain't in.
At least Mark him or he's dead ass with it.
He was in the cold.
I see y'all in the meetings.
Mark,
Mark, it's Muslim.
I'm not Muslim.
And Mona and Parks and y'all.
Yeah.
This thing is ate a whole pork sandwich.
I'm the only he that.
He ate a bacon egg and cheese.
No, that's different.
I don't eat cheese, no.
I see him they go on one in the little wilderness cooking on Instagram.
That name cooked an ostrich.
Ostrich is good.
Hey, yo.
The big.
Oster is good.
He cooked it on.
You cook the brostridge is amazing.
He cooked it on a rock?
Yeah.
It's like red meat, but a bird.
Hey, your, Parks, they try to...
I was like, though, anything that you need to track the trailer to cook,
like, you just don't need to cook it.
At VSU, they try to offer me beer.
Beer meat, and they said this...
I'm like that.
I didn't eat meat as well.
No, I said I would.
I try it.
If I'm out there, where I know niggas get busy, they know what they do.
Actually, I think I did have bear meat.
I don't think it was very good.
Y'all just be putting...
Any...
You don't just be eating shit.
Man, I eat ass.
Well, that's a little bit different.
And you think ass is dirty.
saying.
The beer.
Probably.
Are we back to this?
Fucking beer again.
Oh,
oh.
Oh,
God of every night's member.
Yo.
He's a picture up there.
Smokey.
Why?
Why are you on?
A smoky over there.
Yeah.
Now the beer's ass is clean of this.
Oh, why are you on up?
All right.
All right.
So they finally arrested that Door Dash freak.
That fucking creep.
They put an eye card on her?
Peeping time.
Yeah.
Keep and Tammy.
Two felonies.
Really?
Felonies?
Charged up with two felonies.
Joe, you're about to pull it up?
I'm about to pull it up.
Yeah.
Good for her.
Get this heated off the streets.
Yeah, get this fucking thug.
Now food can be delivered properly.
Wait, Mark.
You can't be serious.
Wait, Mark.
Wait, Mark.
I'm going to let you all do your thing.
I'll say what I think later.
Brother Mark, please.
She ain't black.
She ain't black.
I don't see race.
Don't you know that about me flip?
I don't believe that.
Sister, you can't get in.
Let me see your skin.
Oh, no, let me see your skin.
He can't get into this one.
No, I think it's terrible.
DoorDash Delivery Girl, been arrested two felony charges
after filming a man passed out in his home with his pants down during a food delivery
and posting the video on TikTok.
See, the first couple of segments on this pod is just about how the internet need to shut the fuck up
and mind your business sometimes.
Y'all believe everything that is published.
Adults come and try to tell y'all shit.
y'all come with all your human rights and we know the law we was born in 2002 and we've read up on this
and we're going to change the world and all of y'all was living wrong.
I'm here for some of that, but...
No, me too.
But not in some instances.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
And this DoorDash incident is one of those.
I'm going to play the clip from this heathen of a clout chaser.
Let's see here.
Where's the sound here?
Is there any sound of this one?
Something to do this for a second.
Hey guys, so DoorDash just deactivated me two days after I reported my sexual assault.
That's not sexual assault.
Hey, gosh, I just lost my job.
And they won't tell me why.
They're supposed to send an email immediately after deactivation,
providing you the reason why and a link to appeal.
And they didn't.
So I contacted support, and they made me sit on the phone with them for 50 minutes,
just to tell me that they can't tell me the reason why,
and I have to just go ahead and appeal without knowing.
why.
So my chances of getting my account back.
They have my money in that account.
Oh, that's wrong.
They just fired me.
The police are doing nothing.
See, internet.
That was my only way to make money.
This sounds about that.
This is with whom you chose to place your faith.
Actually, I feel like she essayed by a DoorDash customer.
Excuse me if you've already seen this.
This is my third time posting this because TikTok keeps silencing me and taking my videos down and getting me straight.
Because you're posting someone's dick.
All the Trinoronorons.
count is going to be banned.
So I'm going to try to word this as chill as possible to avoid getting this video
striped.
So I want to go donate to her.
I stand with her.
I stand with her.
I stand with her.
I stand with her front door.
Their front door was carried.
Their life was on.
They were sleeping on the couch within the eyesight of the front door with their pants
and underwear pulled down to their ankles and they were indecently exposed to me.
I got this on video and I'm not even going to be posting the video clip anymore because
I'm pretty sure that's what's.
didn't need the strikes.
Yes.
Yeah.
Dubby.
Stupid.
We've heard enough.
Yeah.
That gives me a headache here.
This is WP.
WPS.
More people shit.
Yeah.
And entitlement.
All rolled up in one.
I think it's more than that.
You went to somebody's house that was asleep.
She said he was asleep.
She did a cool thing.
Drop the food off and go about your merry way.
Like he indicated on the shit.
What is you talking about?
You pulled your phone.
out and started recording somebody.
And the comfort of their own home while they were asleep.
And published it is really the big thing.
And put it out on the internet.
If you wanted to keep that as like a evidence of him being inappropriate, cool.
But when you put it on the internet, you are now fucking with this man's life.
Like you were assaulting him.
And you're doxed.
And you doxed.
And you doxed.
Yeah.
I couldn't believe that the internet was when this story came out because of the part that she had published to the internet.
they were saying that because he ordered the food and was naked on his couch and left the instructions,
please walk up to the door and drop the food, that he was some type of door dash delivery pervert that was getting off on.
See, sometimes, and when somebody with a brain, me says, hmm, that just don't sound all the way right.
Don't.
Y'all come and kill.
Boy, did they, they was on my ass about that.
Let's say he was.
Don't feed into it.
I'm going to drop your food off and I'm going to get in my car and leave.
So, well, if your serial jerker offer.
Yeah, see.
Then arrest him.
I'm not mad at her getting the footage.
Keep that.
But don't put it on the internet.
So my position at the time was that was based on her account.
And we said at the time, like, investigate to find out what the truth is.
But based on her account, yeah, if I order, if I order food and I show up to your door.
And I ask you how y'all feel, if y'all feel, if y'all feel, if y'all
kids, is that some of our kids, you know what I mean? If I walk up to the door and it says
lead to food the door, but when I get to the door, I can't help but see you butt naked on the
couch. That's not, and the door's wide open, that's not okay. But what the evidence showed
from further investigation is that that's not what happened, that the ring camera showed that
he didn't encourage her to come up, that he wasn't like purposely indecent. Like, there were at least
two or three things that she said he did that didn't happen, which to me changes everything.
But even if she was telling the truth, you still shouldn't post some might.
naked on that. Well, and apparently
he submitted longer video
to the police and his video, because he
has to all the footage, shows her entering
his home. Right. Which is also...
And that's what initially... That's what I
said originally. It was like, yo, what I
read was she pushed the door open and ended
all of that. And it was like, no, the door was wide
open and... Because she was saying something different.
Yeah. There's also, the door could have been blown open
by the wind or it could be an old creaky door.
If I'm a woman
and I feel
uncomfortable, despite the thread.
Look, and I'm not. And I feel uncomfortable.
And I feel uncomfortable, my nigger.
I'm gonna sit the food on the ground and haul ass.
If I see you inside naked and I feel uncomfortable,
there's no way I'm entering your fucking home.
That just adds to the bullshit.
I'm gonna put your food damn me on the step and haul ass away.
And I might even tell Uber eats,
y'all I don't want to deliver there anymore.
You get what I'm saying?
Anything of the sword.
I'm not going to take this shit and run with it.
One star for you.
Yeah, right.
I have.
Bad yelps.
Bad yelps on the way.
What you're talking about, yo.
For me, it was just, listen, I'm sure that there are some perverts out there that do pervert shit.
I'm sure.
I don't discount that.
More likely to me is, because I do it all time, is I order food and fall asleep.
And niggas have got a quick beat and fell asleep.
And if y'all really want to judge me, I wake up the next morning and take a bite.
Oh, you're disgusting.
You're disgusting.
Hey, the next morning, I'm going to taste what it could have been, boss.
what's what you're talking about
anyway the streets are safer
they got the lady off the streets
thank God y'all want to get two felonies though
no yeah that's the part I was saying
I don't want to do you think that she's going to actually
get served with this shit
you'll hear the entitlement in her voice
this is just a scare a scary
they fire me
not with doxing though
dotson is very serious I agree
no I'm saying I think that the charges
are just gonna I think she'll get nothing
a slap on the wrist at best
and I think she got some mental health issues
that's possible based on that video
that video made me feel
Oh, you crazy.
I agree with that.
When I heard that,
that screamed just,
I was like,
oh, you could.
Yeah, if you scream
to your phone
in that manner,
and to answer your question,
yes, I do want her to get those
because now you got to send a message
to anybody else to try to catch a situation like that.
Niggas,
I don't know,
DoorDash and Uber eats
and Uber's,
policies,
and training and shit.
But what I noticed from my consumer POV
is that
as you companies get bigger
and need to produce more
y'all just be sitting in anybody
to mind the fuck
nigger it don't even be the person on the shit
yeah no word they sell
bro I saw somebody post
a couple weeks ago they selling accounts
but you could buy somebody's Uber account
or DoorDash account
they'd say anything on that die site
god damn
that shit like stockass
That's smart, my nigga.
But, yeah, no.
Five-star account, X, Y, X, whatever means.
That shit ain't legal, though.
Of course not.
That's the fucked up.
I'm just more people to know out there,
so they don't think we endorsing it.
I'm not endorsing it.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I know.
As I'm saying, that's crazy.
And I'd be mad as shit if somebody did that.
That's a fire.
It's a great.
Look, I love a good husband.
Fuck you say, you want to.
You not something smart shit.
Fuck that.
So you think a woman show up to your door and it's some six foot eight.
You got my food, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know, lead them prize right there.
Katie, fuck you talking about, I don't give a fuck.
Until some stick up kid.
That's different.
That's different.
That's different.
It was a clip going around not too long ago of this lady Uber driver where it was two people in the back, black people, of course.
I think they asked her if she could turn the music down or turn the music on or just something very small.
and this lady was spazzing out on them
threatening to call the cops
I'm pulling over
y'all get out
you're causing me to crash
you're asking me to do two things
at once this video was like horrible
so
the Uber drivers
you Uber ease people
They need it
psychiatric eva
Listen when you order food
When you order food
I mean
pole up
Yeah
Just in case
Hey you don't know
what type of time
motherfuckers is on.
Pull up.
Some lady might be trying to come in
report you to the cops.
All right, I'm bullshin around.
At least a little box cutter or something.
Yeah, something.
Something.
The big fork.
Get the big fork out of the kitchen.
Pokey.
Pokemon.
What else is important or unimportant?
Man, there's so much going on.
It's so much.
It's mad shit.
And I want to get that every last drop of it.
Pause.
I heard that about.
Wow.
That was really passionate.
That was crazy.
That was insane.
I meant the topics.
You stuck your topic out.
Right.
Yeah.
You're so gay.
Me?
He's stuck your talk out.
Drop up.
Yeah.
It's cool.
We got to say, Summer Walker.
I'm going to say, Summer Walker.
You did a re-listen, you told me.
But you didn't tell me what you concluded.
No, I didn't say I did a re-listen.
I said, let's do a re-review.
Oh, re-review.
A re-reviewed because it dropped on a Friday.
We came in on a Friday.
I gave my opinion off one and a half.
One and a half listens.
So, yeah, quite naturally.
And they have a projection, which we were totally off about.
Way off.
It's projected to do between 59 or 63K.
Yeah.
Me, I used to have the lower projections.
I was way off.
Yeah, I had like 100, 125 tops.
I had 170, I think.
I had like 175 to 200.
Yeah, I knew I wasn't going to do that high,
but it's even lower enough.
I thought, why is that happening?
What do you think this about?
Well, that's a good question.
That's a really good question.
I don't know if I haven't going to answer.
She had a single.
Like, I'm, I'm wow.
She did not have a single, right?
She did.
She did.
Part of a woman is a single.
They were, like, a little bit probably spread out.
Too far, maybe.
I guess you could make that argument.
I just didn't hear a lot about the release.
I didn't hear anything about it.
Outside of, like, talking up here, like, I didn't really hear much about it.
I don't think they pay for marketing and promotion anymore, Parks.
A lot of these albums come out.
Maybe like, yo, what's all.
with this label.
Like, they're not doing shit.
I was about to say it.
The artist relies on their...
Internet too much.
On the internet and their fan base.
Like, the core audience to do that.
Because...
I think both the labels and the artists think
that just posted it under your Instagram story
is going to get it done and it's not.
Right.
Like, nowadays it seems,
like artists will just drop a single.
Yeah.
Right?
We see a bunch of artists just dropping one or two songs.
That really ain't an indicator no more
that an album is coming.
So if you put a song out in June, your album might be coming in August.
Nobody knows because y'all ain't promote the album.
Y'all thought the single was just promotion.
But nowadays, it's just random singles being given to the fans anyway.
So it's a little throwoff.
It's lazy.
There's not much rollout.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's what I'm saying.
Now it's like even with summer, we got the, the letter with, you know, table one, table two, table three.
All of that came.
That's three, four days before the album drop.
That's cute little Instagram shit, by the way, too.
But I'm just saying there's no...
That's not marketing.
Yeah, there's no marketing.
Now it's after the album drop marketing.
We got a record over here.
Let's go.
What would solid marketing...
And I know Summer sometimes doesn't like to do
the whole media blitz and do a million interviews and things like that.
But like with Pusha T, you know what I mean?
We saw...
At Malice, we saw...
Media.
Media.
We saw interviews, podcasts.
We saw really cool, like...
Content pieces.
Collaborations.
Pop-ups.
They worked collaborations.
We saw work.
Right, exactly.
So what could work look like for some of it.
That's unfair because summer's an introvert.
That's what I'm saying.
What would it look like for someone who's an introvert?
I was about to address that.
And she's never been miss pop up all over the place and do interviews.
But if I'm from your label.
That's why I'm asking.
What would it look like for her if that's not your thing?
They can still pay for the service.
They can still put out there whether it's artwork, whether it's a cover,
whether there's something or some people doing something to her song.
They can still pay for that.
You could also, as a.
You could go to her crib or her place of wherever she's comfortable and film some shit that's interesting.
It doesn't have to be running around to New York and L.A.
And all these places and sitting down with people you don't want to talk to.
You can think of some other creative ways in which to...
And then put the money behind that.
Yeah.
Like content pieces as opposed to...
Let's slow down.
Let's do it.
I don't think she wants to talk to people.
Like, she's got a couple of pieces out now.
Maybe they staggered them.
But I don't think Summer wants to be the goal and talk to.
or have someone come and talk to me artists.
I think she wants to be her introverted self.
But then have you, the label, that that's a jazz and objective
that you have to now circumvent.
You understand what I'm saying?
Like, you got to put outside.
The label feels like they've done a great job.
And, I mean, we deep, deep, deep diving here.
But, I mean, she did a buck 68 last time, whatever it was.
Yeah, a buck 60.
The label, somebody's done a good job on her side and on her team.
I don't know if the last album had bundles or not.
I know there were bigger records.
But for me, it ain't even all it's fancy.
There's a, I don't think that she really connected with her core.
That's possible because you and Abani is the resident.
And that's part of what I was coming in here to say on my re-review is, okay, now I totally understand why this album for me wasn't what it was supposed to be.
And I saw a lot of Summer Walker fans fans saying,
The same thing you and Imani were saying.
And I went back to that first and the second album.
They hate this album.
Yeah, my wife who loved the first two,
did love this one for the same thing when we listened to car.
Y'all big up scars.
It was 50 seconds, not for me.
Track two, robbed you.
Who are you talking to?
Who is this song to?
It can't be none of your core audience
who've been riding with you through relationship
after relationship after relationship
where you was on your,
you know what you was singing about
on the first two albums.
Who are you robbing?
You showed up to the awards
with the old white man.
He's on the cover here.
Spend it ain't even on this album.
Spend it is the second record
that came after which she put out the
like a maxi single where it was sped up.
That's not even on here.
So who the fuck wants to,
who has Summer Walker been
fucking scamming for the bag
or getting tricked or who sees her like that?
So cool.
Bob's second.
Cute song.
Who the fuck you're talking to?
No, I like that song.
The Destiny's Child's Flint.
I like that song.
I like that song.
Go girl.
We love that.
This song would be great on one of their albums.
It would be great if it were an R&B song
and maybe the remix is featuring Lado and Doja Cat,
similarly to how you did Cardi on the last album
where it was an R&B song,
and then when the rapper girl's time,
they came in. The 21 Savage feature on this album
is done perfectly.
It's a Summer Walker song
with a 21 verse in. And a 21 verse
that he hits out of the park.
Go girl is, again,
who are you talking to? You back
to trying to be Miss City Girl. I don't think you viewed
like that. Baby, I like that song.
1-800 heartbreak for me
is the clear standout on this
album and it is a
summer walker record to a T.
She always give you the
stand out. God damn, my heart
is broken, and that's what she did here. The second
best song, and this whole thing is don't make me do it
slash tempted. That,
those are your template summer walker
records. Those are the
records that you would hear on
any album that you do.
The rest of this shit, let's see.
Heart of a woman's cool
situation. Situation shit.
No, that's back. That's another one I love.
Not for this album. Who the fuck is this for?
That's back to Parks's point.
situation ship.
I think that
this Teddy, hold up,
Bart's,
this Teddy Swim's record
and finally over it.
Beautiful records
for some movie soundtrack
somewhere.
But I think that if you
figure out who you're talking to
and speak to them
through the marketing,
marketing is a creative business,
not dissimilar from any other art.
Like, if,
and if you're going to make this turn
from serving you and Amani
and all the summer R&B heads,
you have to figure out
how to market that
so people understand
what you're trying to do.
Yeah,
I think maybe that was with her whole picture with the
dude.
That's not enough, though.
I know it's not enough.
I'm just saying,
but that's her attempt at it.
Like, now I'm trying to show y'all
I want something else.
Everyone doesn't deep dive
or break things down like Joe and Imani.
True.
I don't think anybody's,
you see what he just did?
Well, fans do.
Do you like that?
Sometimes you don't have to think about
you just say emotionally
kind of notice ain't for me.
I don't think somebody's looking at
and say, who are you talking to
on this record and who was this too?
That's true.
That's true.
No, but the family not talking to you.
Right.
The fans can't get.
Joe was somebody that I watched
do that type of breakdown and stuff like that.
Maybe there's a lot of people that do that.
As somebody who didn't like
just to use Mary J. Blodge as the obvious comparison,
somebody who loved all the Mary albums
and didn't love her happy turn,
we kind of joked about it,
but there's a way that when I heard those records,
I just was like, this ain't the Mary I want.
So I could see how that could happen for Summer Walker.
This is a summer, this is finally over it.
Beautiful record for,
yeah, this, come on, man.
And I think I see what she was trying to do.
You said for a movie soundtrack?
Yeah.
This is fire to be a book.
It's fire, yeah.
Like somebody walking slowly in the snow, like frozen four.
Yeah.
It's fire, though, boss.
It's just it.
It is.
It's not a summer walker record.
And I think somebody wrote this.
And you did this three times on this album.
You did this.
song.
This ain't so cohesive
to me. It ain't. Sorry.
Sorry, I wasn't able to explain
properly last time I was
here. But at least on the second
dish, or to end
after situation, let's play a situation ship so you see
what I'm saying. This is one of my favorites too.
Exactly. No.
Rihanna
gave you one of these on
one album and that was it.
Joe, you don't believe in diversity
in the record, I'm sorry.
I want to go to this place with you.
It's dark enough where I'm at now.
It's fire.
Don't break me down place you come.
Dog, I don't know who the fuck she's trying to connect to.
You listen to music.
Yeah.
You don't believe in somebody showing.
Who the hell is she trying?
But that's the problem.
You have to, especially if you're going to make a switch, you have to warm people up to the switch.
No disrespect to summer, but she's not a big enough artist like a Kendrick.
or Rihanna or a Beyonce or someone
that can just throw a massive curveball
and people will be willing to figure it out.
Yeah. Like she's this sound like
it was left off the scissors out
scrap package. A lot of this album feels like it could have been
Cesar Records. I could see that. I mean
is the idea, I thought the idea
was that she was just, that she's
taking her fans on a journey. Yeah. She's taken through the journey of
heartbreak, heartbreak, all right y'all, I'm finally over this shit.
I'm finally in, I'm in my healing phase
and that the audience would just follow her into that phase.
That's how I felt that this album was.
That's how I saw it.
But I think y'all are right.
But if you listen to the album,
where do you hear that?
Well, I think before she would have never tried
to get the nigga robbed.
Before that, she would have never said,
I can't do the situation.
She's stopping now.
She's stopping now.
Don't tell me that.
And that's my problem with this shit.
Don't tell me that.
I'm finally over it.
Let's rob him.
Let's get these niggins stick for their money.
Go, girl.
Let's go pop this.
I'm outside now.
That's what I took it.
And if that's what you thought
your fans were looking to hear
at the end of such a phenomenal
trilogy, you're off base.
And that might be right. You were off base.
Because I'm not the core fan. I liked this.
I feel like the first. Yeah, you are. I'm not.
Yeah, you are. That's what I'm saying. I like her first two, but I
really like this. Let me ask you a question. I'm not
disagreeing with you. Let me ask you a question.
How does an artist
that has a core fan base
now gather
more fans? Well, she went on, I'm not
mad at her team. She went on
Chris Brown's tour. Anybody
is thinking
put them on tour, get off.
tour records album.
Sure. Right.
Yeah. Shit, some teams
would think that's all I got to do that tour was so big.
And maybe that is what they thought. Maybe
because, again, this was stadium tours
with him. Let me make more music
that that crowd might fuck with. That's true
too. Let me, you know what I'm saying?
I just got introduced to
50, 60,000 a night.
Yeah. I've never played a
venue that size of my life. So now
let me make music that they might.
As a smaller, no disrespect,
artist, you have to
tell your core what you're doing. You can't alienate
your core and just do that. Yeah, yeah. I'm with you
there. And again, this is just my opinion.
I think on disc two, she
attempted to get back in her back. I love
the self. The Bryson record at the end of disc one,
Houseway is not bad. Baller, again,
I don't know who she's talking to here, but
don't make me do it, tempted,
get your boy. These are summer records.
Number one, Brent Fires, hats off
to you. Best, best record I've
ever heard you on. And it proves
to me that my theory was wrong.
Or maybe it's him
in key. It's him singing
in key. So I don't know if, but he was
still Brent. Yeah.
His melody is still. That weird
Brett melody shit that he do.
This was the most
in tune I've ever heard.
That is a fact. Fires.
And it sounded great.
Again,
stitch me up. There's a few good records on
it, but not
what me, the Summer Walker
fan that I am was expecting.
That's so crazy.
Do you think it being caught finally over it?
Like if this was something else and not piggybacking off of the other two records,
could you appreciate it then?
Albums.
Album, excuse me.
Like, because sometimes the titling and what you name your album puts pressure on it.
For sure.
So if you got two classics, over it, still over it, and now you name this,
because I came in here and said, oh, we know what she's about to do.
You're naming this finally over it.
You're saying this is a trilogy, which means we're tying in, we're playing off of those
previous two.
If she went a total different direction, just name this something.
something else. Would you be as critical of it?
Or was there an expectation set?
I'm a, I'm a, I'm a summer fan.
I think she's one of the best.
She's one of the best females out there.
So I would have been critical of her regardless.
Do you agree with Parks, Joe, that she's not a big enough artist to make that transition?
Without warning.
Without warning?
Because I'm thinking about Chris Graham, when he put the double mint song on his album, right?
Remember that double men song he had on his album?
That was a different thing from what he did normally did.
I know, but what I'm saying is that.
I'm thinking, okay, so you told my cousin's early.
It's just about somebody taking a hard change on the album.
I remember that double mid didn't match with,
he wasn't that yet.
He was still in his accent.
Which goes to the point of, okay, I got it.
All right, that's what you're saying.
And I was just one song on there.
He did that.
He still gave you the shit we love from the first album.
I think Chris is also, even early on,
I think Summer makes more niche music.
You make a specific music for a specific crowd,
whereas Chris is a little bit more broad.
You can take those wrists a little bit more.
He was headed to start him out of the gate.
Out of the gate.
Yeah, okay.
That's true.
There's nothing on here in closing, because I'm not, we did it.
There's just nothing on here that, to me, matches the album title or the tone of any of the albums that have come before it.
Like, again, I challenge you to tell me where she is finally over it on this album.
Yes.
Maybe I understand finally over it.
Yeah, I went on that.
You got three songs on here that I keep calling it.
movie soundtrack songs more than that you've ever done.
I mean, Summer Walker is known for girl
anthems.
Like, do you all know that part? She's known for
the breakup, fuck him, we're singing
this shit. Not we at home sobbing over, I don't know.
But should have robbed you is that. I mean, that's just like,
that's like Jasmine Sullivan bust the windows out of your car.
It's like, no, it is not. No, it is, can I hear it?
Can I hear it? Don't ever say that again.
No, I'm going to say that.
I'm gonna say it again.
Please don't say that again.
It's true.
It's like I'm over it.
The way I show it is like through anger.
Can I hear you rob?
I should have got you rob.
I should have bust your shit out.
That's what I'm saying.
Some people are over it in a different way.
I think that's what she was trying to do with this.
I'm over it by being outside.
I'm over it by being my whole phase.
I'm over it by being my whole face.
Now I'm getting in any money now.
I'm over by no longer be in the side shit.
I almost.
He got tired.
He's mad.
He's mad.
He saw his face?
I don't told music with Mark.
Okay.
A bunch of the fucking music remarks.
He said what's the only did he just say?
A bunch of windows on your car, Jasmine.
What's crazy about that?
You're talking about the songs, but he's saying I get what you're saying conceptually.
I'm talking about conceptually.
I'm not talking about the music.
He's talking about quality of record.
Yeah, he's missing what I'm saying.
Can I hear Rob?
No, I understand what you're saying.
It's you saying it's her new age version of this, which is I should have got you robbed.
I should have cheated.
Yeah, like, right?
I should have another one.
Like, yeah.
Yes, that's what I think.
That's, that's, that's, that's, that's.
Yeah, sorry.
This is worth better record.
Don't ever, don't, fuck you.
She's just making better.
Ooh.
I probably always have these ugly stars.
But right now I don't care about that part.
I bust the windows out to come.
Sound like she finally over it.
And she's not over it when she bust the windows out of your car.
I'm not there.
I'm not music too much to listen to just shut up
just shut up enough now
you will fucking call you
prize picks coming but now we got to let to just give me a second
yeah
and I know you do
but this is from my experience
it makes sense to jazz
I wouldn't mind a new jazzman Sullivan at all
I can't wait for a new jazzman Sullivan
Look and listen to this angel.
I can climb mountains.
Swimbor.
Listen, man.
That nigga went hard.
Don't you say that.
Don't you fucking say that.
Don't disprove my point, though.
This is just a better version.
She just did it better.
Oh.
Yeah, baby, where I did with.
Quaguan.
Way I did, you know.
This album is the point.
So, walking to you.
Oh, my God, man.
I should open with this one fucking.
Hey.
Sing it with me out there.
Like, don't get it on church.
That you go again.
Hey, baby.
What I'm saying is these songs have commonality.
Like, so if that's what she was trying to execute.
Don't do that again, Martin.
Now it's time for my favorite part of the show.
Prize.
All right, this episode is brought to you by prize picks.
You and I make decisions every day, but on prize picks,
being right can get you paid.
So don't miss it.
out on any of the excitement this sports season. On prize picks, whether you're a football fan,
a basketball fan, or a fan of both like me, it always feels good to be right. Prize picks is really
easy and simple to play. All you have to do is select two or more players, look at their projected
stat line, and pick more or less for your chance to win big. Prize picks also now offers
stacks, meaning you can pick the same player up to three times in the same exact lineup.
Want to pick more on Steph Curry's points, three-pointers, and assists?
Now you can pick all of them in the same lineup only on prize picks.
And the Joe and Ish picks of the week that Ish sent me at 1258 a.m.
Let's see.
No, I was up to late.
I was probably he was.
I'm always only.
I didn't, that was odd to me, but he said he'd be up at that time.
I'm on my ninth dream.
Shit, yesterday I was in bed about 3.30,
nigga.
Fuck, you talking about.
I press a little button on the shit.
With your Winnie to pull outfit on.
Daylight savings time.
Come on, man.
Stop playing with me.
Let me find these ish picks.
All right, here we go right here.
It says Josh Allen for more than 219 passing yards.
Jonathan Taylor, we bike for more than 15 receiving yards.
That's a given.
Jamir Gibbs.
You like Jamir Gibbs.
for more than 74 rushing yards.
Dawson Knox for more than
23 receiving yards.
He's trying to be freaky now.
And Stefan Diggs for more than 62
receiving yards. I like Stefan Diggs.
He's been heating up ever since I traded him.
Trade him?
Yeah, I needed a running back.
Both my running backs were on by in the same week.
Mark's from Houston.
My league also is the toughest fantasy league
to trade in in the world.
It's full of music executives.
and C.C. Sabathia.
All they used to. These niggas
do not trade. They
look in the scam and
beat you. I kept my comment to myself.
It's an absolute mess
over there. Shout to my fantasy league
six and five
fighting for a playoff spot. That should be good.
And, oh yeah, that's it.
That's it, fam. I'm going to add
on the Joe pick,
Puka, whatever he
feel like doing that day.
Puka Nakua.
He's going to be
questioning.
but he's going to play
and he's going to do something
you've never seen before.
I'm going to poker.
Let me see.
Who else I want to put out there?
Who else I want to put out?
You're going to do whatever.
He feels like the Jackson Smith Nijigma.
Anything he feel like doing that day
he is going to do.
So yeah, let's add those on there for Joe.
Catch a ball with his pinky toe.
It don't matter.
Hell care.
It don't matter.
I think a full speed ahead down the sideline.
You know just one-handed, yeah.
I don't feel like sticking out two hands.
that anywhere Sam Darnel go
somebody going to have one of them
years. Sam Darno will put
that boy where it need to be except for when he's on the
Jets. Yeah, well the Jets. I like the quarterback
Renaissance resurgence.
Me too. We too. Niggers that you thought was washed up.
Absolutely killing. I love that.
If you download the app right this second and use
promo code J.B.P.
You get $50 instantly when you
play your first $5 lineup
only on price picks where
it's good to be right.
All right.
Ray J y'all
Every couple weeks
Saying Ray J name
means something funny happened
What happened man
So apparently
There was a show
In Baltimore
It was a Mario show
Mario was there while they was there
It was a fire show
By all accounts
Except one
Ray J went online
afterward to give his breakdown
To what happened
He was upset because
Apparently he didn't get treated properly
He didn't get the respect he deserved
He didn't get invited on stage to perform
So he had some
words from Wario and a little bit of Wale.
I'm going to play the clip, but I mean,
I hit Walee the next morning
to say, you're
amazing, and that was it.
And then he said,
thank you, but...
Spam, shut up. He said, thank you, but
Ray J. dot, dot, dot,
dot.
And anytime somebody say
Ray J. dot, dot, dot, dot, dot.
And then I saw what Ray J had to say,
like the year to hear, go.
Nigger, Mario, your show was weak as
Fuck tonight in your own hometown or wherever the fuck you had.
That shit was weak, bro.
After you do two songs and you just out there singing, then what?
Nothing.
You don't know how to dance.
You don't know how to be a real nigga.
All you know how to be is a fruity-ass singer, nigga.
And Waleigh, I ain't going to even get on you because I don't even know if it was you tonight.
But y'all don't ever bring my name up and invite me nowhere and don't give me no kind of like.
Not VIP, because that's very important.
But I-I-P, nigga.
important the crowd
I'm on the side like this
like ready to get the mic
and like Ray come back here
I'm like why fuck you tell you to come back here bro
if you tell me to come back here one more time bro
I'm gonna tell you to come over here nigger
and go back into this alley and take you nigga
so I talk to Mario I'm like yo
take you go out in the alley
you know what I'm saying
like the crowd going to go crazy this thing you go
give me five minutes to think about it
You do five minutes to think about it, bro.
You don't cut it out, nigga.
I'm gonna give you all the pops you want, Marri.
Do you want to be the best singer?
That's fine.
You're still the broken singer.
I don't gotta sing, nigga.
Don't play with me.
Don't act like just because you feel like you got a bigger record
or you got a bigger album that you're the biggest nigga.
You don't work like that, bro.
We'll break your little ass down, bro.
Here's real nigger respect.
What's up, Ray?
This is what I was looking for.
Let me see.
What did Ray J expect to happen?
I'm not doing nothing to that, bro.
I'm going to do my set.
And if Walee want you to do your set, you do your set, nigga.
Much of me.
Ray J.
All right.
What's the rules?
Yeah, that's where the combo is.
It's show etiquette.
That's where the real combo is.
School us, because I don't know.
From what I'm getting now.
Also, Mario just put his album out.
So now you got Mario and Wale would just put their albums out.
Mario's from Baltimore, right?
Waleigh is D.C.
Them having a show together makes sense.
For sure.
But Ray J. is there.
Okay, Ray J.
Sometimes you got a show when the city of niggas is there.
Ray J.'s there.
Okay, cool.
It sounds like Ray J.'s expectation was for him to be able to sing a couple of songs.
Yeah.
That's unreasonable.
That already is problematic for me.
Why?
Why?
We got albums out, though.
Yeah, but I'm not stopping nothing in my set to bring somebody else out.
Do it matter who the person is?
I'm not ending my set.
Maybe.
Sometimes it does.
I told Kanye to get the fuck out of my face.
Okay.
I mean, granted, he wasn't Kanye.
I say which Kanye?
He wasn't Kanye.
Which Kanye?
It was fucking Elvia, Saraville, wherever she had us at out there.
What was that?
Abyss.
Abyss?
No, it wasn't Sarah.
Deco.
Her first join, not Deco.
Remember her first joint niggas used to hop on that highway and go out that he was out there too?
Anyway.
But anyway.
Strip club?
I don't know.
It was a club.
It's a club.
Okay.
Anyway.
Anyway, to me it matters none.
If I have a set and I have an album out and my fans are here because I've been promoting this, I'm not stopping my set.
On release day?
Or release weekend, too?
Never, never is that happening.
I don't get a fuck.
How cool we were.
If we were that cool, you wouldn't even ask me no stupid shit like that.
Is there a bigger artist etiquette?
Like if it was that same time
But like Hove shows up
I mean like like what's
Is there an artist who's big enough that you gotta be like
Yo I gotta I gotta surrender a few minutes
The artists that are big enough
Are not coming to your show expecting for you
To relinquish your stage
That's not that's just not gonna happen
Do I have a song with Hove?
Do I have a song with the artist in question?
Because now it makes sense
Right
Also if it's a bigger artist
Can you just come up and give me a dab or something?
Yeah like that'll do what it's
To be in here
Yeah
is enough for me.
And Waleigh is home with a fire album out.
Ray J is from L.A.
I don't know what you're doing here.
You don't sound like you're too cool with either of them.
Who the fuck was letting you on the stage to sing what?
The only thing, and again, I'm just taking it for me.
I didn't hear anything about this until right now.
Ray J. said he was invited.
Like he made it seem like somebody said, yo, pull up.
So when that happens, they pull up then.
So not to go on stage.
Pull up.
And somebody is the.
an important who's to somebody.
Who invited them because...
What they say.
Yeah.
That's what I was trying to get to.
Yeah.
That could go a certain way.
Pull-up don't mean.
Now, I'm not doing that.
Something could have got lost in translation for me.
But pull-up does not mean you come to my show and you get two and three songs.
He didn't say he wanted to do a song.
You heard him?
He wanted to do a set on somebody's set.
Nigger, are you crazy, Ray J?
Unreli-le-Sweet.
Yeah.
Ray J, you know I love you.
I absolutely love you down.
this is preposterous
this is preposterous
yo he said let me think about it
for five minutes that's your answer
that is the answer
yeah
but that's also
I didn't see
that's the right thing to say too
politically correct for sure
Ray J was mad about it
what do you expect somebody
and say you putting me on the spot
side stage
day of I got the mic in my end
day of I'm walking on
I'm walking on set right
I'm walking on set
they can see us now
fighting back here
Ray J.
Sorry, man.
The more I think about it,
I don't think it was lost in translation
because if that's the case,
you're not asking,
yo, let me get.
Right.
Let me get it.
True.
They told him to pull up.
Pull up.
You don't have a drink.
Come show love.
Come be his girls here.
He went there thinking,
yo, I'm me.
Catch a vibe.
Yo, let me get a little bit of that.
Let me get out there and do something.
Or you're looking at them like little niggas.
All that.
That's how he was at.
To me, he sounded like,
I'm your OG.
Like, if I'm here, I should be out.
I should be out there.
I should be able to do what I want.
Yeah.
At your show.
Well, he got in there.
He started talking like,
you still, you and I'm me.
Yeah.
Which is a talk to be had there too.
It is.
What's the talk?
It is.
What's the talk, Joe?
Sometimes things change.
That part.
Yeah.
How long is your...
And what are you for right now?
What's you said?
Yeah.
That's the important part.
Do Ray J identify that Mario can sing better than him
and he has had a better album than him?
But do you think Mario is bigger than Ray J?
It's perception.
So.
Rage is more famous.
I think Ray J is perception.
Perceptional?
What do you gauge it on?
So if you're Mario, this is not issue.
He's objectively more famous.
He's not a bigger artist.
But if you, Mario, and I'm selling out tours
or I'm selling out shows around the world.
Well, I was on the Millennium Tour, which was huge.
Yes.
I got an album out.
I'm putting songs out currently.
They may not be the biggest songs,
but I am currently active.
When he sat here,
he had just came from overseas.
He did an overseas tour.
Ray J. being richer and more famous,
cool,
but what they got to do with music?
We're in a music venue right now.
Full of my fans.
They don't care about sexy,
can I, and one wish.
Or about reality?
TV.
Or that.
And I don't want to be the one to say it.
Or the scootie bikes.
But the last time we saw a dude sing, it wasn't that.
I'm not about to have you come out here and fuck my show up either.
Because I pride my show off of cutting the music and being able to sing.
Yes, yes.
You're about to come up here drunk.
Yeah, no, we're not doing that.
You about to come up here off that rapistado.
What, Ray J.
You know Ray J was on his ninth repisado.
No, he was lit.
Talk about,
it's a man
Rebecca with the bull and they said
I love TV.
That line,
you got to be sober
to sing that line
and you wasn't,
you wasn't.
You wasn't.
In Baltimore,
D.C.
Saturday night
R&B show.
No.
Come on, man.
Hey, yeah, we got brains.
We got brains here.
We can't do that.
Drunk Ray J.
Can't take my stage.
That's my man.
Yeah.
Sorry.
It ain't no beef there with it.
It's just your dogs.
And you kind of just got to eat it
when Ray J.
Go online and fucking talk and shit
because Ray J's the king of that.
He was so crazy.
Don't come to L.A.
You know what I mean?
All that shit.
I might take you in the alley and beat your ass.
He didn't say don't go to L.A.
Don't put words.
I'm sorry.
What he said is I'm not going to say
don't come to L.A.
Because it's not that serious.
That's what he said.
Right.
Okay.
To me that sounds like I'm saying it
without saying it, but.
A little bit.
Yeah.
It's saying don't make me take it here.
But shit,
them niggas didn't say,
hey, your Baltimore DC pass is revoked.
You can't perform out of here.
They said you can't perform
while we.
for me tonight. Right now.
Yeah, you just can't be able to bring this stage right now,
my nigga. I don't think that's so out of bounds.
That's not out of bounds.
But Ray J. on the
go online and be entertaining, this was
this was, this was mild. This was a
mild Ray J. In comparison.
I think it's no performative, Joe.
See, I'm with you too.
You know he's not. You know he's not
the truth. We know. Ray J is one of the smartest
niggas ever with their head of that shit.
When I see Ray J, he
don't do none of the shit. I've seen him
do online. He's just super cool,
humble, rich. He's rich.
He move around like a rich nigga.
He does. They're like, I mean, there's marriage.
They like marriage.
He's married. He's right.
Liggin's love that marriage, boy.
I see nobody love marriage.
That marriage shit.
That marriage shit. He's killing that shit.
Hey, you go, I love princess.
Nah, boy.
Listen, shout out to all parties as well.
Yeah, for sure. Show etiquette. Get your show
etiquette together. Come on. Let's tackle all.
All things music.
All things music.
Can we give a congrats to Pusha Tea?
Yes.
Oh, definitely.
Let me hit the round of applause.
Yeah.
Yeah.
You know what I mean?
Big Pooch.
Hey!
All right.
What are we congratulating
them?
He announced on Instagram
that him and his wife, Virginia,
are expecting their second child,
second son.
And the internet had a lot to say about that.
Yeah, they got backlash
for not being a present father or something like that.
What could you possibly find in this?
Yeah, come to be bad about it.
They were saying that not being present, right?
Freeze.
That's what the complaint was.
It seemed like he's making a joke between him and his wife.
That's what it looks like.
I'm going to read the post.
It was the second paragraph that they had their problems with.
Read the post and give what you think after the scene impartial.
Like when you start with the plea, they kind of know where we take it.
I agree with you.
Okay.
A little suspense
He starts to paragraph
Yeah, watch that fuck him out playing with that
Look at it.
He's talking about what the fuck you did that?
Come on.
You're going to read the whole thing or just laugh?
No, I'm just going to read the second mark.
Starts the paragraph, just read it.
You know, it was basically a message to his son.
Yeah.
You know, asking you shall receive.
He started with all things considered
because he mentioned the miscarriage
and Nigel wanting a sibling in the verse.
Yeah.
Then he tags his wife, baby Jenny.
Thank you for my second baby boy.
I hope you carry on with the tradition
and never teach me how to change a diaper,
prep a meal.
suck out a snotty nose or anything else
a super mom does.
You make things very easy for me
and I love and appreciate you for it all.
And they're upset.
Now, again, I mean,
what I think about it.
And when you say there,
you mean...
Broke?
Yeah, yeah.
Are they broke?
Like, come on, man.
Financial...
Not saying put your t-shed.
I'm just talking about me.
I'm not doing none of that shit.
Are you at home?
and what do you need?
I'm not, I'm not talking.
Is she with me, is she?
I know we're masseuses, nigga, but misogyny
that's definitely not with you.
I'm definitely not with you.
No, I'm saying, all jokes aside.
Like, that's the joke between him and his wife,
and we appreciate women that take the mantle and run with it,
that take care of the child and allow you to do
what you can do outside when it comes to work.
You got to, you got to acknowledge.
I respect what he said.
People just want to find something wrong
because they don't have that opportunity or that privilege.
Also, if that's what their relationship,
how it functions,
or the stranger is too.
Shout the pusher.
That is true.
Have an opinion on it.
Yo, I read this shit.
I mean, they was going crazy.
They were.
They were.
Dead beat and all.
And I'm just like, damn.
Damn.
I took that as just literally a joke.
It's like an inside joke as well.
If it ain't a joke.
Let's say it serious for me.
Let's say it serious.
That's how it works.
We sat here talking about Nellie and Ashanti when Nellie was saying, yo, I'm not doing this.
I'm not doing this.
that I'll pay for all the nannies.
I'll pay for whatever, whatever.
We'll get it done.
And niggas is like, yeah, some niggas,
it's getting done, it's getting handled.
I definitely told my girl, listen,
I'll do it if you want.
I'm down.
Just know.
But when that little motherfucker get here,
I'm not doing shit.
Sign the paper, I don't care.
I ain't doing it.
I ain't changing.
I ain't waking up.
None of it.
You don't mean that shit.
You don't.
Let me take that back.
You mean it, but you're going to end up doing it.
I'm done.
I'm done. My kids would be 25 and 8.
Yes.
Okay.
So if you have another one, now you got a new one.
I'm not fucking Barbara Streisand.
Who sing that song?
If I could turn back.
Hey.
If I can find a way.
That ain't me.
I'm cool.
Because I start sitting home doing math.
All right.
I'm 45.
Then I'd be 46.
They start now.
Carried the one?
They'd be 20.
I'd be 70.
None of that sound fun.
I'm 70.
My little one with the button gene, that's going to be the super bad one.
By the time, I'm 70, running all over me, kicking me down the stairs.
Hell, dad, why the fuck you wait to that?
Hell no.
Hell no.
Then we got to break the money up some more.
Yeah.
Yeah, fuck that.
What paper are you going to sign?
My kids don't want to be there.
You said, I'm a sign the paper.
What paper are you doing my son again?
Huh?
You said I was, you said, I told my girl, if you want to have a house.
I wanted it.
I want to write.
that she understands what I'm saying.
The baby contract.
You're not doing anything
when it comes to the baby.
Not doing this shit.
I'm not buying the cute little shit
that strap them up to you chest.
None of it.
It is fun.
No how I know?
Did it.
You say that now to you have a girl.
Exactly.
If you have a girl, L.J.
Tell me you have a girl that's good.
Girl, Dad, you're going to be different.
Thank you, girl, dad.
Thanks.
I'm surrounded by girl.
One, two, three, four, five girl dads in here.
Yeah.
Yeah, you'll change.
And they still said that about y'all.
Hey, what the fuck?
What the fuck you said?
A girl might be different.
Having a boy, raising boys, it's like the jungle sometimes.
I'm little niggas.
I just learn.
Just go.
Go.
They go to the store for Newport, three.
The boys, you could just.
Whatever.
Yeah.
Them niggas is tough.
Anyway.
Anyways.
Where was we at?
On the stage.
Oh, push your tea.
Push your tea.
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
Congratulations.
It's pretty simple.
Yeah.
That's it.
That's all you got to say when that happens.
You're to analyze every fucking thing.
But these people, oh my God.
It got worse.
He set himself up when he made that joke.
Like, you got to expect the internet is going to say some shit.
But they, of all people who don't care.
Don't care.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying.
You don't care.
The internet don't know that those people exist because they care so much.
That's why.
So they think everybody's like them.
Exactly.
He don't give a fuck about what they're saying right now.
Yeah.
And I just never cared that much about how people are parents.
Unless somebody's saying they're doing something like abusive or something weird.
I'm in my own business.
Everybody's family's different.
Facts.
I'm in bed last night.
Yeah, Cork.
Come on, man.
This is a big production.
court.
So I'm in bed last night
watching
Pluribus.
Some shit that require you to pay attention.
Got to pay attention to that one.
Yeah.
I heard my girls say, hey, they're saying wild shit
online about us.
She's going to say that all day.
I ignore her.
I don't care about what they're saying online.
Who gives a fuck?
But I'm watching Pluribus.
I can't escape it.
Yeah?
She says, hey, is there anything
that we can do about this?
so I said
Yes
Unplug your phone
Ignor it
Put the phone down
Put the phone down
I'm about to go pee
It goes away
I'm like that
That's first of all
You can't say that
Because that's dismissing
You thought it though
But you thought it
So I said
He typed it
Mine wasn't no way
I said
Yes
We can sue them
Yo
So then she said
This is cause the big fight almost
So she said
I bet
Who do I call it?
You stop fucking playing all the time
This is your problem
You numb to stuff
Because you've been famous all this time
And they say shit on the internet
And you don't give a fuck
But I
My mom called me too
I said know what I said
That ain't true
She said Joe
You fucking play too much
Would you be serious for a second
I said okay
Would you like me to call the owner of World Star
and tell them to take down this nasty post?
She said, all right, I'm done with you.
I said, all right, I was being serious, but fuck you now.
And that was that.
What is the expectation?
Wait, hold on, wait.
Yeah.
Wait, what happened?
Nick, I'm going to look at.
Check my Instagram.
I saw you walking outside the game.
Wait, wait, wait, I'm talking.
I'm joking.
I'm talking on you.
I saw you walking outside the game.
I, uh, uh, uh.
Shade had to check a white and black joint.
You had the stomach.
I saw that joke, was there something crazy.
Something else.
You said your stuff like it was an outfit or some jewelry.
Full of glissom way.
And you said your stomach like it was like,
you had to rollie out.
I didn't know about you.
I saw the new shit too.
I saw your witty.
Big body.
I saw your walk where you had like nobody was there.
You was in your own world.
I thought with my somebody in it.
Shade had the I, the Corella Deville join on fire.
I'm just trying to get in the car.
Yo, it took me mad long to even get so
to be in the right spot for me to get in the car.
So what happened though?
properly and it goes to me Joe
Move music well knock it the fuck
off buddy
Hey hey the movie
Nah no they said wetlands
Yeah that's not yeah yeah
They pulled them all the tricks out
But I did look
Yeah yeah well I was huge
I was huge
I was huge
But that's not
I ain't gonna hold you
And that's what they're talking
I was constantly
No no I'm talking about something totally different
Than what you're talking about
Can you put me on
I'll put you on
Okay cool
Later I'll put you on
But yeah I was big as a house
And I was constantly
Yeah.
There, you got right to it.
You got it.
Bookmarked.
It's in my story.
It's a mainstream story.
It's a manseer story.
Wait, where the fuck this came from?
Yeah, chill, chill, chill, chill.
Take this down, nigga.
Who wrote this?
I'm frowned.
That's just, they didn't report it.
I mean, they were just one of many people
that was reposting it.
I don't know where it came from.
Oh, from Power Wives.
The point.
Oh, my son.
I ain't gonna lie my nigga.
Ooh.
See, that's what my brain.
You that nigga boy.
My brain says,
We got him.
Right.
But then he's not used to that.
That's it.
Season two of Powwis.
That's very small.
Season two of that Powwai's.
Hey!
We got them.
Doesn't it get?
We back.
Some of us.
Doesn't it get, oh shit.
Doesn't it get tricky with it?
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Wow.
Which couple will appear?
Which one?
Doesn't it get tricky when you understand the game but your significant other is not on the same page?
Not saying they fill away.
They feel away by what's being said.
When y'all...
Because that happened with my wife back in the days, the same shit.
You know what I'm saying?
It's falsely accusing you a shit.
No.
Yeah.
When they falsely accuse me, shit, mom.
No, I'm just...
She held me down.
It's a rider, nigga.
She's a rider, nigger.
Yeah, it's a rider.
No.
I'm just saying that when you're not.
on the same page when you know that
this is a hit. This could, you know what I mean?
This could lead to other things. Just let it play out.
I don't know what fuck who calling you. And like, I don't want
that of that shit. Take me off that shit and all that shit.
It gets a little crazy. It's not on
a bigger skill as that. I love, I love my baby,
but that's part of watch you, my baby. Even all
all power wise things. You know, they keep killing
that because I'm not a wife. Well,
yeah. Well, that was
part of the thinking and the
forget it.
You can't win.
I love you.
Anyway, power wives coming soon from Turks, we out.
Hey, I'm going to show you how to write some shit off.
Hey, I'm going to show you.
Jets everywhere.
Hey, I'm going to show you what it looked like.
I wouldn't have been on every episode, Tulum.
Yeah, we in Australia today.
No, yeah, yeah, no, for real, for real.
I'm out the Dee, the moderator.
Oh, God, yeah.
How was the birthday weekend?
Great.
We ate.
What you got some more?
And eight.
What you got to?
Huh?
You're all you can hear, nigga.
What you got her to say?
That's fair to say.
Oh, okay.
It's for her to say.
Ooh.
Something nice.
You get a bet at this, boy.
I'm not a bad gift giver.
Something nice.
Happy birthday to my baby shout.
little Scorpio's out there.
I'm birthday Chatee.
Can't wait until y'all's shit is over.
Self-centered Scorpioes.
Says the Virgo.
Your word.
I feel like it's still Virgo's.
Exactly.
I ain't go, oh, you.
What else is in music?
Congrats with your team.
What else is in music?
I want to ask you, again,
it's for all your music experts.
I watched this big announcement
that was in all the Hollywood,
entertainment rags.
It was all over the internet.
that Rock Nation has launched a new distribution platform.
It's like a dashboard that allows independent artists to post, promote, and otherwise
distribute their music.
And it was seen or launched as like this big victory for independent artists.
When I looked at it, though, I couldn't quite get why it was supposed to be such a big deal.
And I feel like I'm missing something.
So I thought maybe y'all could break that down because I don't quite get it.
It seemed like a big deal, though.
I honestly, I think the reason, it's getting some backlash.
I think the reason why is because I don't know why it's a big deal either.
It's getting bad marks over to 85%.
Yeah.
Their model is different in that they take a percentage as opposed to just charging it like a monthly fee for distributing your music.
So like TuneCore or Distro Kid or any of the other competitors, essentially you pay whatever $10, $20,000 a month and you keep 100% of the proceeds.
Okay.
So a 15% split is just interesting because what am I getting?
What are they doing to justify taking $50?
15%, which in their press rollout is like unparalleled social media research and insights
and data, but all of these different distributors give you all of that shit too.
So I don't know.
Yeah, let me ask you a question.
If you're Steve Stout, do you feel away about this?
No, I don't think so.
Why?
It's not direct competition from it is.
It is.
It is.
but there was already direct competition
and I kind of understand
why these companies are doing it
because it's basically
it's kind of
if you look at it,
it's a little bit,
it can be funny.
It could be looked at as funny
because you're just distributing
people's music and taking cuts
and not necessarily adding any value.
If you're,
can you get your music on
I don't know,
uh,
Apple music,
title,
all that without going through one of these
like can I can I go log on
and upload it myself no I do think title
is either has or is rolling out
a distribution system of their own
so maybe in that case maybe
but otherwise you have to go through some
type of distributor yeah all right
and the regular distributors
you just pay a monthly whatever
you pay more you want access to your analytics
all this other type of stuff yeah there's tears and shit
depending on if nobody's taking a piece
no outside of the
whatever the fee is.
All right.
So with all that information,
what it sound like to me,
is Rognation just won a piece
because our name is Rognation.
Or they might be adding something
that we don't know about necessarily
that the other competitors don't.
That's true.
It could be because when I saw it,
it said something about like,
like even when Stout came,
he said, yo, we have like tears too.
Yeah.
Like we have this and then we have artist development.
We have other things that you could potentially.
Opt in to.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
opt into to further your career.
And when I saw their stuff, I didn't do a deep, deep dive,
but it seems like they offer similar stuff.
They seem to, from their press release,
which in my opinion was probably a poorly written press release,
they didn't give much information about what they're offering for that 15%.
Which I think is where some of the backlash is coming in.
I'm going to read what Russ had to say because we love Russ on these matters.
He's an independent artist.
He's huge.
He's done extremely well.
for himself. Yes. And he speaks great when it comes to these things. He says, an 8515 split to press
upload is madness. Major labels take 15% distro off the top too, so it seems like they just
modeled the business off of that. If you're an artist, this makes no sense to sign up. Major label
distribution comes bundled with major label services, i.e. a team, radio, marketing, global offices,
sales team, editorial leverage,
shit artist leverage, I'll add, and etc.
Rock Nation Distro platform is a self-served uploader
with none of those services,
yet charging the same 15% major labels do.
The economics don't make sense
when the entire market norm is zero to 10%
and only charging a percentage when they add service.
He goes on, a $50 annual fee versus 15%
of your entire catalogs revenue
are not remotely comparable.
One is a fixed cost,
the other is a tax on your entire career.
Free to upload is the ok-doke.
Fixed fees protect artists.
Percentages drain artists.
If you make even $1,000 a year,
15% 150,
you've already paid damn near three-time
the cost of any flat fee distributor.
Yeah.
Wow.
He's dead on.
The only thing I would say in that is some of that
is everybody doesn't have
have access to a major label distribution system.
So he's right, but also, like, comparing it to a major label distribution system is not
necessarily fair because everybody ain't getting signed to a major label distribution system.
Right, but we can go to, like you said, the distro kid, go that route, get the same shit.
I started with that.
Okay.
Yeah, yeah.
I love with that.
You know what that sound like?
Russ, I'm sorry.
Russ, I'm sorry.
Russ also has speeches on this urging artist to just go to the bank.
if you want a major label deal or major label money and backing,
just go to the bank, get the money to support your own career
and end up paying less interest.
It's yours at the end of the day, same as it is at the label.
So he does have that out there as well as an alternative to what y'all is saying.
What I offer, I used to be on this indie, indie, indie,
preach the good word, leave a trail, leave a path,
let our good brothers know is another way to do this,
until you learn that
majority of artists
aren't really looking to do the best business.
Yeah.
Artists are signing up to
get lit.
How the handheld.
Stand next to the people that you're able to stand next to,
whether that be Jay-Z, Rihanna,
just whoever you want to name.
That's what I think of this.
They want to go to the Rock Nation brunch.
They want to be in.
They want to go to the fucking.
the building, the Rock Nation
offices that are beautiful.
Take a picture.
Those offices on the gold couch.
Immaculate.
And get some hats.
What better commercial for Rock Nation?
Get some hat.
What better commercial for Rock Nation
than his clips roll out?
Yeah.
I see that.
You get what I'm saying?
This is ideal for them to drop this right now.
Which is okay, clips was real death jam.
We saw what happened there.
Yeah.
They come over here to Rock Nation.
And look how we got them.
So now this tells the other artists out there,
Hey, come sign up.
We could do the same few, even though that's not what we're doing.
That's something totally different.
It is.
Right.
But you don't know.
You just hear Rock Nation, and now we get 15%.
Which is, it maybe feels like it's half baked and rushed in the press rollout because
I think if they had some better ideas, some better services, some better perks.
Something to justify it.
15% would be like.
A gimmeme.
And when it comes out, maybe someone goes over there and drops some shit and says, actually,
when we're over here, it does X, Y, and Z.
And you'll be like, oh, okay.
Well, it does make sense.
But just popping this out.
it seems a little happy.
I agree.
I haven't seen it.
It's predatory if you want to keep it a buck.
I haven't seen much from Rock Nation
that tells me that they might know how to develop
an artist.
Actually, that's one of my beats with Rock Nation
is that some of my favorite musicians
are over there and
they just, Dixon is over there.
Dixon is writing a hit for anybody who
who need a fucking hit.
But I'm a Dixon fan.
I'm looking for Dixon music.
Right.
That don't come as often as I would like.
I'm here waiting on the Mata project.
She don't come as often as a like.
If I were a really talented act on Rock Nation,
I don't know how to feel about this.
Even if it had nothing to do with me.
Spreading themselves to anything.
Or shift and focus?
I want attention.
You're shifting to focus to something else.
You're changing the business model.
I came here for this.
And now y'all showing, y'all telling me this is what we're doing now.
All right.
So what does that leave me?
Is that sign to you?
as an artist.
I think all this shit is kind of weird
because, again,
the distribution companies
and the DSPs are making money
for free.
Yeah.
You know what I'm saying?
Like,
those are the people
that are making money
in the music business right now.
Yeah.
Again,
if something comes out
that I'm missing,
I'll be open-minded.
Yeah.
I'll be open-minded.
I'll check it out.
I'm sure it will.
I'm sure it'll be fluid.
I'm sure some of this backlash
that they're receiving
will be heard and adjusted.
And adjusted, yeah.
niggas want to be seen
not paid, man.
That is a fact.
Niggas don't want that.
That's just a billion of the time, no.
That's not nothing, no.
When he was that people before,
told us.
Like, they'll pay you in the look.
I don't know if I agree with that.
Since the beginning of time,
well, I got in 80s.
Yeah, but even since the 80s,
it was niggas that took fame over money.
Who?
Mad niggas.
I ain't getting into all of that,
but.
He's not wrong.
Man, people, Joe.
people want bit.
How do you think all these horrible stories about music business practices?
How do you think they market it?
They market women.
They market clothes.
They market jewelry.
They market cars.
And niggas sign up for that.
They don't necessarily sign up for the financial windfall that's going to come from being in the music business.
They think that is the money, though.
They think that they're currency.
It's currency.
It's currency.
I don't know if I all the way agree, but we'll fight about it.
There have been savvy people as well, but the majority of the majority of it.
I agree with it on this.
I don't know though.
I mean, I agree with you too.
Sometimes it's a good bet, by the way.
Sometimes baking on the fame and you parlayed that and some other shit.
Actually, no, hell no.
It would be irresponsible for me to let you kick that.
Hold up.
Go ahead.
This is the first time in history where all of the information has been laid out on a table
and people are actively choosing.
That's fair.
I think that's what I was about to say.
That's fair.
That's my trouble with what you're saying.
But that information ain't new.
there have been artists that have been complaining
and informing people and schooling
people now for over a decade.
But it wasn't that there's more information.
I'm not saying if it was or it wasn't.
What I'm saying is the information was out there
that niggas was getting fucked in their deals
and y'all niggas need to start reading your contracts
and y'all niggas shouldn't use their lawyer
and y'all shouldn't do all of these things.
I'm not in the music business
and I've been privy to hearing those conversations.
I think all of what you're saying
was part of artist discovery in the 80s.
When Big Daddy Kane signed a bad deal,
I don't think he had any knowledge of
why it was a bad deal
or what he was getting himself into.
The same with De La Sol, the same with all those.
You're talking about 40 years ago, man.
What you said to the 90s?
We go to the 90s.
Niggas knew they were signing bad deals.
Some cats knew they were signed by the 90s.
But that's not the same as saying
that's very different.
It ran to sign them.
I don't think that's the same as saying
that they were choosing fame over money.
Because I agree that
vanity plays a role in that.
But a lot of times those artists
didn't feel like they had a choice.
You know, a lot of people signed the bad deals
because they were desperate.
they were hungry and they didn't have a plan to be.
It wasn't like this is a shitty deal,
but you'll be famous and said, you don't fuck the money, I'll be famous.
I agree with that.
That's what I'm saying.
But there were some people that sought out
the deal for the fame.
They ran to it for that.
Yeah, I think that's right.
Not even taking advantage of your desperation or nothing.
It was just, yo, I need to go be with bad boy.
Yeah, I think that's right.
People to quit fame to money.
Even though I know I've heard stories,
what happens over there, I'm still running over there because that's that.
We had Kisses Dad up here.
I think that's right.
Yeah, I saw that episode.
That's what I was talking about what I said.
And kids' dad said basically, they were juvenile, well, they were minors.
And all of their parents got together in a collective and went to entertainment attorneys.
And the entertainment attorneys told them that these are the worst contracts that we've ever seen.
Cool.
By the time they became 18 years old, guess what they did?
He went inside the kid.
They took the power.
He signed anyway.
But again, I don't think it's because they wanted fame over money.
That's all I'm saying.
I think it's because they...
I mean, people want to get on...
Yeah, there's an opportunity cost.
Yeah.
Which everybody may get fucked in.
but that's not the same as what I'm saying either
and that's the point
I think it's more complicated and I think back in the day
to the beginning of the time
I mean like early music business
they didn't one there was only one pathway
and they didn't have the information
I'm exaggerating when I said at the beginning of time
but we've had Prince we've had Michael
we've had Whitney we've had our greatest
of our greats complain about the shit
that they're doing in the music business
so it would seem as if
when I come into the music business
now I'm gonna take if they could fuck Prince
if they could fuck Mike
if they could fuck Whitney Houston,
my nigga, they're gonna look at me like a peon.
Yeah, easy one.
With all due respect, ish,
when those things were going on,
I don't believe a lot of people knew
what the fuck they were talking about.
That's true.
Like when Prince changed his name to the symbol,
I was really confused.
Niggas thought he was crazy.
And his explanation didn't really say.
He said, they're trying to own me.
He was talking like an adult.
I wasn't for adult.
I didn't know.
We thought he was crazy.
When the Mike fucking publishing
and start,
niggas
just started learning
this stuff
is all I'm saying.
That being said,
I mean,
even back to the beginning
of time reference,
there were independent artists
grinding out independently
and it's more work,
it's more expensive.
It always has been
and it always will be.
Less advantageous to get your shit up.
Yeah, so I don't want to,
I don't want to ignore that fact
because there has been
independence for a very long time.
And I'm sure that when you bumped into
so-and-so on the tour,
you would say,
hey, man, the way I'm doing it,
I'm getting, ah-ah.
It's obviously,
Way more information.
Now you can go on YouTube
and look all this shit up like this.
They get Cadillac Records, the movie.
Yep.
Yeah. It showed, you know what I'm saying?
It showed everything.
Yeah.
They asked, uh, what?
Holland Wolf.
Holland Wolf, yo, you want a caddy?
He's like, nah, I don't borrow against the store.
You know what I'm saying?
Like, everybody has their own path
and their own level of discipline
or, you know, to thug it out.
But, um, I think Wollet should be independent.
Oh, yeah.
I think a lot of people should be independent.
I keep forgetting that he's not.
I thought it was crazy
Wanting that independent show
And y'all know that's my dude
I haven't spoken to I don't think he wants to be independent
He don't
I really don't think he wants
I think
He don't
Fav don't
There's a few of these niggas
That just don't want to do it
When I talk to people
I don't want to be independent
When I talk to certain people
I ask them what's their idea of success
When it's all said and done
What has to happen for you to say
your career was successful
that answer changes for a lot of folks
Some people want accolades
Some people want I want to make all the money
Some people want
They want to be seen
For Wollet
I notice
He wants to be in certain conversations
Except that he can't
He won't get in as an independent
Right
Like certain names I feel like
I should be mentioned with
Because of my discography
Because of how long I've been doing
My talent
My talent
My this
I should be mentioned with certain names
And that route is already hard for him
As an independent, it damn near becomes impossible
And he's not wrong.
I think that's a mistake in 2025 though
That's horrible.
I agree with him.
In 2025 it is, yeah.
Just because...
A lot of people want turnkey.
We see, I know, and I understand that.
I completely understand that.
But for someone like Waleh, who just dropped a great project,
yeah.
If he was independent, I feel like we would have got the same press
and same promotion and same all of the above.
Yeah.
Yeah.
He would have got 85% instead of whatever his split is now, which may be favorable.
Yo, it's 2% of artists that make it on a fucking major.
And I might be pushing it.
I might be pushing it.
Like, I agree.
He would have that same album.
You would have to do the same shit.
I don't.
I think it's a security.
It wouldn't have been harder to clear on samples and shit?
I don't know.
You could do that.
I'm asking.
You can still clear samples independently.
You're just paying for it.
You're still paid for it.
The problem is people think that the label is paying for shit.
and they ain't.
You paying for it.
That's why Russ is saying,
yo,
just go to the bank
and pay for the shit.
The label,
because a lot of these labels
than fired everybody
said that they don't even
have all the different departments.
So they're outsourcing.
Yeah.
The same outsourcing that you can do
as an independent.
Gotcha.
They're doing that.
That's what they contact.
Gotcha.
Yeah.
So you could call Sam Crespo
and fucking have your radio work.
You can call the same publicist
and you probably get cheaper rates
for some of this shit.
Because you're the indie.
Yeah.
Or, and just, hey,
I actually like your music, bro.
Yeah, I think you're cool.
Thank you for sampling me.
I'll do it for a, ah, or just give me a verse on something.
You know, there's benefits to be.
Gotcha, got you, financial benefits.
There is.
It can be.
I think it's a security blanket.
I think it's ego.
I think about this in the TV world.
Like, you know, when I was in cable news, I mean, CNN at 10 o'clock, maybe 200,000 people are watching.
Tops.
In the demo, you might get 150,000 people watching.
You could be on YouTube with half a million people watching, keep all the money, make three times as much.
They ain't seen it?
Exactly.
No, but you.
I get it.
And once you have a name, you might as do your own shit.
That's what Megan Kelly do.
That's what all the conservatives do.
But for a lot of people, myself included, there's still a small part of you that be like, yeah, but I'm not that.
I need to be that.
And I think major labels are like that for people.
I think a lot of times just attach yourself to a brand.
For sure.
It gets you in different circles and it makes you feel like you're a certain kind of right game.
And it can't be valuable.
So, I mean, you know, different courses for different horses.
Yeah, I don't judge it.
Why do you value it?
It can be valuable.
But it's just got a finagle of the corner.
Really? Listen, man.
That's true, though. That's true. Back to the
Holland Wolf shit. Don't borrow against
the bank. Bar against the house, whatever.
Anyway, while lay out, I'm available right the second in your phone.
Amazing project.
It's a really, really, really amazing project.
Shout to it on a weekend.
Yeah, same, same. Well, that and summer for me.
What else? What else do we need to get to in music?
It's a lot of shit. Let's get to it. Let's get to it. Let's get to it.
What else? What else? What else?
What else? In music?
Yes. Takashi is in music.
Oh, yes.
Takashi is in music. What else is up there?
I know Mark don't know what music.
Let me see.
What's not a music story?
His home got rated.
I was like, I ain't know if we wanted to go there.
Well, we care about it because he's a musician.
No, that's fair.
That's fair.
What do you...
I feel like it's like a sucker.
I feel like for all of us to watch
Takashi's mother be held at gunpoint,
four guys went in his house while he was away
streaming in Miami to be held that gunpoint
and acts where his belongings is to watch that lady go through that.
I don't go for what Takashi did.
You know what I mean?
I think it's sucker.
You got to have a heart.
You know what I'm saying?
I feel I saw people making excuses.
You're the rat, he this, he that.
You can't do that.
She's not, though. Yeah, she's not that.
She doesn't deserve that.
You know what I mean?
And I felt bad.
That shit pissed me off to see something like that.
Yeah.
You know what I...
I agree with everything you said.
Yeah.
I hated his response to it.
What was...
I have it if you...
Go ahead.
Go ahead.
I want to make this video to clear up all the fake news and rumors.
The world knows this.
It's a fact.
I'm on house rest.
I've been on house arrest.
I think everyone in America and everyone across the world knows
that I'm on house arrest.
Yesterday they allowed me to leave for work.
People, I guess, saw that I was on live stream
with Jack Doherty.
They took that opportunity to fucking do some pussy shit.
Like I said, it's me, so I get it.
The rules are different for me.
But if it was fucking your favorite artist,
your favorite actor, and that was done,
they don't get no cool points for that.
My mom is 60 years old.
Y'all know I'm supposed to come home.
You know, I'm home all the time.
I'm on house rest.
So y'all take the opportunity that I'm not home.
Y'all see me on live stream with Jack Doherty in Miami.
And y'all do that.
That's pussy shit.
That's why I get no coupon for that.
I don't think nobody respects that shit.
No Joe Biden.
I didn't, well, it was more.
I agree with everything he said.
It was more so the fact where it was coming off like,
y'all wait till I'm not home, almost like,
do it when I'm home type shit.
I don't like that.
I don't like that.
I mean, any man would jump into the way.
of his mom.
Oh, no, no, no, no.
He's like, wait until I'm home.
Don't take that shit on my mom.
My mom doesn't deserve that shit.
Like, I'm up.
Yeah, I got what he said.
If you're looking for me.
Yeah.
And your issue is with me.
It just seems like you're inviting more of it when you say it that way.
Well, that's why I'm split about what you in Flipper saying.
Mm-hmm.
What you mean?
On one hand, I totally agree.
It's painful to see anybody's mother be held at gunpoint.
Facts.
And, and led around their own home.
I'm not with none of that shit
I love my mom to death
I have a heart
I'm not with it
that aside
because I'm
because I'm not with it
I carry myself a certain way
or you know the potential
ramifications behind doing certain shit
comes with maturity and some experience
so I'm not putting that all the way
on him but
he has said
and he said a lot
of shit about people
that this happens to be their area of expertise.
And if it wasn't those people,
he said a lot of shit about people who are loved
by people who this is their area of expertise.
And if they can't get you,
maybe they don't even want to get you.
We're going to take it to a different place.
We're going to shoot up your grandma house.
We're going to...
They are.
It's always been ruled.
Hold on.
There's always been rules of engagement.
Hold on my stop.
There's always been rules of engagement
when to come to street niggas
and it depends on how you raise.
It's always been rules of engagement.
One of the hardest rap lines ever.
Don't think you saved
because you moved out the hood
and your mama's still a round dog
and that ain't good.
What do you say?
If you were smart you'd be shook of me
because I get tired of looking for you
spray your mama crib
and let your ass look for me.
But that's just raps.
No it ain't.
There's always been,
hold on, hold on.
It's not just raps.
Listen,
are we call talk from behind
whatever.
Listen,
there's always been a certain etiquette
when it comes to certain type of street niggas.
I watch the gangsters
or the gangster of them watch,
see a nigga that he had beefwood with his mom
and his kids and let him go.
I was there. I watched it.
So we're not going to act like this.
But everybody don't do that, though.
Okay, cool.
And the ones that don't do that, we have to question them
of their street morals and ethics.
They're savages.
They're savages.
If I want my mom in Princess and Nico or J.R.,
I would like you to let me go.
And let me go live my life.
Don't let them see that.
There's plenty of places you can catch me
with that I'm by myself.
I agree with you.
You know, the other side of that is because today,
a lot of niggas are moving around without those ethics you speak of,
maybe not engage in that.
Because you don't know who's going to play the ethic game and who's not.
I agree.
Okay.
That's where I fall.
Paul me.
Okay.
Some niggas, yes.
Prevention is a better to kill type shit.
Yes.
There's some niggins that are with the stand-up shit.
And they played the ethic game.
They did not hurt.
Yeah.
Yeah.
They played the ethic game.
They could have been much worse.
Niggas.
Walked around.
I'm looking for what I'm looking for.
And I'm looking for.
I'm out of here.
They have respect.
Fam,
niggas could have took moms.
Now it's a whole different thing.
Yeah, okay.
It's a little bit tricky,
but I hear you.
I stand on the other side,
but I understand what you're saying.
When you're playing those games,
or you're playing those realms,
you're signing up for anything
you're basically saying?
No, I'm really just saying
you don't really,
you hold a certain ethics,
a certain cold.
You don't know if I very well.
You don't know who else is playing
by that code.
until you basically find out.
Like you said, you got an issue with a nigga
and he see you with your wife and your kids.
What if he don't play that way?
Because it happens, niggas let you go.
Oh, I see. And you see them too.
You see them.
You're talking about that type.
Yeah, I see.
And we're speaking about what about the other type of nigger?
When I'm hearing him, I hear a blessing.
Yeah.
I hear a blessing.
I got into, I've been into it with street niggers before
and how we carried it.
It was a blessing that you was the person I was that type.
And not the other type.
You play like I play.
We playing by this.
set of street shit.
That is a blessing when that happens.
The bad part is you don't know what
set of rules they play by until
you're in the situation.
And today in
2025, you're rolling the dice.
It's more of the other side.
Like, I hear what you...
It ain't even a dice rule.
It's more the other side.
Yeah.
And I'm agreeing with you.
I agree with them.
You got to think about...
You got to think about the people that are saying,
yo, he didn't necessarily
handle his shit ethically
based on street codes
and street rules
so you broke ethics
and street codes and street rules
so now they don't apply to you
I'm not
I'm still on your time
your side I'm just saying
from an objective standpoint
they could be like nigga he
he strapping
so seeing that lady cry like that issue
yeah it's crazy
you watch it
I'm not with none of that
I'm not with it
I'm not with it I'm not with it
that's crazy I'm not with it
yeah I'm prayers for
Tukashi
Tomashi mom
and Tukashi
shit.
Yeah, that's traumatizing.
Just knowing your moms went through that.
Even you're not there.
Stop inviting that energy, though.
That's what I'm saying.
That's what I'm saying.
But even when he talked to him,
that's what I'm saying.
Joe, he wasn't aggressive.
I mean, he said slick stuff,
but he wasn't the Takashi
that we normally here.
Yeah, you know why?
Because that shit hit home now.
Yeah, that's what I'm saying?
You invited the devil to your home
and the devil came to your home
to let you know, nigga.
And then you turn into Daniel.
See, and that's the thing.
It's not Takashi.
It's not the made-up.
It's not Shoddy and a hundred niggas in the back.
It's not polls and niggas.
It's Daniel.
Yeah, got it.
And we can hear Daniel.
You could.
You could.
Be Daniel.
You niggas get on the internet and he don't be Daniel when he get on that.
I wouldn't even say the shit that he'd be saying.
Yeah.
Because it invites.
It invites us.
I'm an energy guy.
On your ethics conversation, where do you stand on the Jets player Chris Boyd,
who was shot outside of Say Lester other night?
Word is, and I get this from the news, that there was an argument that started
inside of say less okay whoever was arguing with Chris Boyd left first okay you all know
yep yep yeah but but I just want to hear his ethics point uh when Chris Boyd leaves with a group
of people bunch of youngins jump on jump all over them then shots rang out where do you where do
you fall in the ethics of of this was it unethical for somebody to shoot him
Yes.
If you ask me that question.
It was unethical for him to get shot.
I feel like you could beat somebody ass without using the gun.
If you was jumping or you put hands on them,
if you went outside to get your peoples and you and you fucked him up,
it was no need for him to get shot.
You know who he is.
You're familiar with his career.
That teetters the line of, like, what did he do that was that?
What did he do to deserve that?
That's what I would think in that moment.
See, what I hear you talk?
There's plenty of opportunity.
But there's plenty.
And I only talk this way because I extend the same grace that it's extended to me.
No, I'm not saying you're wrong.
I'm just saying it sounds like you're talking with like yesterday's ear or yesterday's.
Like, a lot of that shit don't happen that way today.
Not just that.
I think that.
Niggas is not going outside to get their peoples.
First off, they're going outside to get the hammer.
That's a good point.
The only time a nigga got shot if he didn't want to give his jewelry up.
And they wasn't shooting.
you to kill you.
Flip.
Flip.
Yeah.
You, you, you,
you come from where you come from.
If that's what it is,
then I understand.
Like that you come from where you come from.
What I'm saying is that if he got shot because he didn't get it,
I can,
if you tell him.
We don't know.
We don't know.
Okay.
All right.
We don't know what they was arguing about.
The shit you're talking about is just in general.
Got it.
We don't know what happened here.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And it's been.
And it's been.
It's been for some time.
Been what?
It's over?
The hood.
It's over now.
It's over.
See, I was there early.
It's been over for a while.
I didn't know that.
There's a lot of people that go there, Joe.
A lot of big people do go there.
And a lot of famous people go there.
And a lot of street niggers go there.
A lot of hood and ghetto motherfuckers go there.
And a lot of bitches with the nasty hills.
And it's not going to stop.
And you know what else?
A lot of people know the famous.
But what do you know about it?
It's like a tourist attraction.
Right now.
Niggas is in town.
We know we got to go there.
But when he says it's over, right,
there's nothing that the establishment can do
to avoid that.
Shit.
You say that a lot.
I don't think it.
That ain't true.
Joe, we watch.
And we know them,
so I don't want to really.
I want to take it off them
because I wish them the best.
But they have to know what shit,
when it's a shootout in front of your establishment,
you have to know what the word is.
About your spot.
Is all.
Yeah, by your spot.
That's all.
Like, it's fucked up.
I wouldn't necessarily put that on them
what I will say is
people with a certain level of financial status
are going to go places.
The women are going to go there for the dudes.
Conversely, the dudes are going to go there
because all the hot chicks be there.
We've seen it happen with every single club
in New York City.
There is, however,
a level of discernment
that those clubs showed
until they got shut down.
I remember Greenhouse
when any person couldn't get in Greenhouse.
And then when they started opening the floodgates
to anybody that had a doctor,
to come into the greenhouse, it was the beginning of the end.
I literally saw the club morph into something different.
And that is from the beginning of time.
Yes.
So I saw that happen.
But some of those clubs in New York City, especially New York,
that have had the 20-year, 30-year runs,
they practice a level of discretion that some of us might call racism,
that some of us will call discrimination,
but it has allowed them to keep their doors open for 30 years.
So I think that is a fine line.
I really think it's a fine line.
I think that when you know you have these certain levels of celebrities coming through,
it need to be a different level of beefed up security.
They have enough money to pay off-duty cops or whatever case to be there.
Got to be safety first.
Yeah, that's true.
They got to be safety first.
To keep your brain.
Like you said, with a certain clientele coming through here, you got ladies, you got dudes.
Everybody want to feel safe.
Yeah.
The club you would talk about was 1145 in Atlanta.
Yes.
Where the shooting happened at.
And they ordered the owner to be.
pay $66 million to the students family.
It was like $5.6 million in damages
and $60.5 million in the wrongful death claim.
She's, damn.
They're never going to money, but that's some shit.
That's a lot of money.
A lot of money to not get.
Anybody hit the Mega Ball all the day, Powerball?
Somebody hit the billion dollar one, but the...
They did where they were from?
Georgia.
motherfuckers.
So the power, I think, was a billion,
and the mega is still $580,000.
I've been paying $500 a week, damn me on that shit.
Oh, my God.
Since it's been up to here, what?
They get at least $200, $300.
Sell your little ish college boy shirts and move on, man, stop.
You don't need all that.
That's what that move will be.
You don't need that.
I'll be moving on, brother.
You're going to leave us?
Every time he had this talk, I ask him that same question.
You've given a lot of Dominicans, 5,000.
$100.
Oh, easy.
Gosh.
You're some cheese?
To strip clubs in the Bronx.
Oh.
He comes on the thing and says he goes to trip clubs in the bank.
Okay.
So for me to win $500 to win a billion dollars,
I think it's a nice little, you know what I mean?
It's not the same.
It ain't the same?
Not to me, but I know.
One, I could get a billion dollars.
This one right here.
Shorty billion, he'll give me a million.
They actually are exactly the same.
You go pay to Dominican 500.
You think you get a million.
some pussy and you don't. You spend a night in your car
waiting outside the strip club for her to come out.
She went through the back door with her fucking
fucking...
She only did that to you too.
Shorty.
He was tight.
Listen, the game is the game. Some nights
you're going to score 30, 40, 50.
You're going to sleep at the exile by squeeze.
Squeeze.
What did you talk about? He always
believes some bitch. What happened now?
You talk about.
You told me, you asshole.
Yeah.
Now, I don't remember this one.
It's cool.
Who was it?
Something nice?
Fire.
Oh, so.
It's probably true.
It's smoking.
It's probably true.
It was worth a nap.
It's worth it.
Fuck it.
I was tired of you.
I was tired of anyway.
I was like driving home.
That's funny.
It's coming back to me.
I just don't remember the girl.
I tell you.
I think she was nice.
You remember the girl?
Do I?
No.
She was unforgiving.
She was out of her?
She still out of her?
I don't think so.
You laugh, right?
Them bitches leave.
After you take a nap, maybe the move to fuck out.
By the time you wake up, that bitch is in Connecticut.
Hell, by the time you wake up, that bitch is out of here, bro.
Bitch in Tucson, pregnant.
You're like, how long was I sleep?
Yo.
Torrey Lanes.
Tori Lane's
and was supposed to do the deposition
in the Milagro
the Meg versus Milagro
defamation
trial.
It's like a third time, right?
Yeah, it's the third time.
Apparently he was tough
the second time
was on some
what is he said
what are you going to do to me?
I got 10 years already.
What are y'all going to do
if I don't answer these questions?
they find him because he didn't he came back the third time didn't answer the question said no I'm cool
they find him $20,000 find his lawyer five thousand dollars and that's that I pay it
I cannot for the life of me figure out why Torrey lanes has not started ratting yet I cannot figure
this out to Phillips point is against his ethics in his moral code oh
Oh, gosh.
In this instance, I mean, what does this do?
Huh?
In this particular instance.
You got to go in there, give a deposition.
You got to go on there and tell what you know about a certain thing.
Right.
They ask them.
How do you, how do you meet the blogger?
Have you had any interaction?
Have you sent there any information, anything like that?
So I'm just saying, let's say he answers these questions.
You said, why he ain't rat yet, quote unquote.
What does this do for you?
for him. What you mean?
Braddon? In this instance, this don't help me. In the deposition.
Isis saying answering in the deposition, what does it do for him if he's truthful?
This is the Mayn case against Milagro. Milagro is his people.
Gotcha. So let's say he did send us some information.
Ice ain't toxic enough for me. Okay. I'm going to answer you too.
Hold on. Go ahead, Ish. I'm snitching. I'm saying I corroborated with her to put this
information out about Meg.
You would do that? You saying?
No. No, I'm saying what does it do for him to do that?
I understand.
Oh, I thought you said.
Where is it in his?
Gotcha, got you, got you, got you, got you.
Just don't help him.
The three questions that plaintiffs counsel asked during the deposition were how he first came to know defendant Malagro Cooper.
Two, whether Mr. Peterson communicated with defendant Cooper.
And three, whether he sent Ms. Cooper Instagram direct messages or text messages.
And y'all got to understand where he's being housed.
He's in jail, B.
True.
So if the word gets out when he's in jail
that he went and did a deposition
and gave information
and all of that stuff,
shit gets a little different.
He just got stabbed.
I want to go out there and make shit.
You're crazy.
Talk him for me?
Yeah, you bugging.
Joe, you would sit there and say,
I ain't telling you all shit.
Who?
If you got sentenced to 10.
Not right now.
Whoa, whoa, whoa.
Not right now.
You have Joseph Anthony.
Joe.
But Joe.
You play Monopoly, bro.
You play Monopoly well.
Let's do it.
What is, what do you get for answering this deposition?
They're not knocking time.
They're not knocking Tom.
What am I going to get?
A wedge up Meg's ass.
No, you're not.
Yes, I am.
I'm going to answer everyone.
I was fucking the shit out of Milag, girl.
Okay, but first of all.
Hey, stiff dick in a damn the best dick she ever got.
Yeah, I'm doing all that.
We talk every night.
You know what happens?
Meg wins.
I'm putting all the sauce on the world.
Meg is going to win anyway.
We don't care about that.
But then you...
I'm just being toxic.
Oh, yeah.
But then you're to witness that
allow her to win.
She's going to win anyway.
But you're going to go back to that bunk.
You're going to go back to that bunk
and have a different experience.
What's going to be my experience?
You're a rat.
He told a judge, I'm a millionaire.
What are you going to do?
I got 20,000.
Talk about the judge.
Talk about the other people in there where you have.
I'm telling you what I would do.
First of all, not ratting on the girl you fucking
is what got him in there.
I'm with you there
Hey this is called
Taking it to the last last
Allegedly
Allegedly allegedly allegedly
But yeah please
Hey you should
You should develop new habits
If fucking the girl
And not ratin
Got you where you at
I would be at the edge of the bed
Waiting the rat on the girl I'm fucking
Are you kidding me
And again we don't know that they fucking
Meg think they was fucking
Actually and they wasn't fucking
I think she was fucking tomorrow in the crew allegedly.
So look at you, niggas.
I'm ratting.
I'm ratting.
Give me a reason.
Give me a reason.
Go ahead and tell the truth.
You're right in the...
And I would negotiate.
What can I get from this?
I want some shit.
Nothing, nigger.
I want extra lunch tomorrow.
You're going to get lunch?
I want fucking...
You don't pack a nice one for you, too.
Hey, I'm not answering another day, but if you come back tomorrow with a twix and an almond joy, I might answer number two.
Play your card right.
It's going to be your joy.
Fuck you talk about.
You're going to get joy.
I can't believe Tori Lane.
Shout to Mary Lane.
Shout to Meg.
That trial started yesterday.
We'll see what happens with that.
Shout to Milgro as well.
And this is for posting the AI shit or...
Yeah, the AI sex tape.
This is the never-ending bullshit.
Yeah, he can't get up...
You know, still got to just deal with this lady and that's the situation.
That's a wild shit.
Tori shouldn't be in jail.
This is crazy.
He got 10 years, Joe.
I know.
He's probably trying to let the dick
and just do his time.
When is he eligible for parole?
He's not.
He's not.
He got 10 years?
He's getting,
you got 10 years.
Flat?
Yeah.
Stiff.
Mm-hmm.
Is that true?
There's no programs he got to do?
Look, look, Mark.
Mark, making sure.
There's no.
He wrote the letter.
Look at him.
I don't let this.
He is a minister.
He is a scientist.
There's a sign.
Again, Mark.
That he can do?
I mean, from what, from what I've read,
because initially there was debate about whether he was eligible for early parole,
I was what I read was no.
really?
Really?
Now, we can, y'all can fact check that.
Hopefully, you know, I'm wrong.
Again, I'd never, I mean, I think he's guilty,
and I think he should be held accountable,
but I think 10 years is way too long a sentence.
I've always said that.
You said that, yeah, you said that.
Yeah, that's way too long a sentence.
Yeah.
No, he's only eligible for parole after his 10-year sentence.
Yeah, 10 is the minimum.
Yeah, he got to do 10.
Oh, no.
I'd have radder than a New York heartbeat.
New York City?
I would have wrote a new song to Trump every day.
Trump would have three.
165 songs.
I beg your pardon.
It would all be pardon flips.
Trump can't do nothing to him, can he?
It's a state case.
It's a state.
Yeah, Trump can't do shit.
And it's California, right?
Yeah, so.
Gavinet.
Gett am.
Newsome ain't doing nothing.
That lady came out
acting like she had new evidence, too, remember?
Yeah.
She had me hype.
New evidence?
Oh, she looked high, too.
She distracted me.
Oh, she looked good.
Who was this lady with new evidence?
He'd been fine.
honored the old evidence.
They didn't honor,
they didn't have the old evidence in.
We can't really talk about it.
I'm not talking about it. I'm chilling.
Do you call it a railroad?
Huh?
Do you call it a railroad?
Long Island.
They tried to get me on the Logan Paul pod.
When I went over there, tried to give me to spill all the tea on black matters.
Went over to see my man Logan Paul.
What was that like?
What was it like?
We had a great time.
It was fun.
I had a good time over there.
Nice, nice.
What's up with you?
Why are you making a face like that?
I know you don't do a lot of podcasts.
You don't do a lot of stuff.
And this is a major white podcast.
I was curious to know, like what the vibe was like, what they asked you, what your experience was like.
I got a call and say, yeah, you want to do Logan Paul's podcast?
I said, hell yeah.
Sounds like fun.
Yeah.
Let's go fucking do it.
Let's go get on some white chips.
Hell yeah.
Hell yeah, bro.
The crossover Joe.
You say dude on this interview, I'm a fuck.
And I went over there.
You better not, yo.
It was him and his co-hosts, Mike.
I had no knowledge of how big or small the podcast was,
how big or small he was, pause,
but he's a pretty big deal.
Yeah, yeah, huge following.
I've never watched the show.
Huge following.
Am I missing something?
No, why you all looking at?
He's looking down on you, for sure.
I would do, I would do Logan, shit.
I'd do that probably a minute.
Yeah.
Mark would, Mark would do Piersne.
He would definitely do it.
Pierce Morgan.
Here's Bronson is a fucking actor, right?
Yeah, yeah.
Yeah, think it from 007.
Morgan would do Logan Ball.
Hell, yeah.
Yeah.
If you go up there...
That wouldn't in my homeboy to do M.M.A.
What's his name?
Rogan.
Would you take any opportunity to get some shit off Mark when you go up there?
What do you?
Yeah, I would just be me.
Just like...
No, hold on.
You is two type of you.
It's Ms. and Mark the...
That's Ms.
I'd be whatever, you know what I mean?
I just want to say.
Hey, let it out.
He didn't want me to be.
He's behind the camera.
Where are you from?
I want to say free.
He started saying free shit.
He put his head up.
Do we get activists, Mark?
Or defend my white new brother?
Oh, you get a little bit of both.
You get a little bit of both.
You get a little mixed.
I can see it down.
I tell you, anybody that spelled Mark with a C,
got to watch out.
You got to watch them.
You got to watch them.
Activist Mark is popping out on one of them show.
Sure.
Got to.
He calling names.
They're going to scrap that episode.
They might have to.
Hey, yo, when episode are coming out?
Yo, the camera fucked up, Mark.
They're sorry.
They're doing that.
They be doing that.
Shout to Logan Paul, man.
I'm back outside.
I'm back outside this quarter.
Fourth quarter, nigga.
Love it.
Turn it up.
Turn it up.
Come on, man.
It's my man.
Moving around the fourth.
Shit up to sleep, man.
Fourth quarter, y'all know what time of this.
I don't let you all down.
We also go in pockets.
We also go in your pockets.
Both quarters is good for us too
For me
You know what I'm saying?
You're like you're doing good
I've seen a little
Supreme Aver X or whatever you had on
No no no no
Don't worry about me
That shit looks like money
You came in
No no
He gets money every time
He gets a demotion
Yeah
Oh you're co-siding them
No
But I know you look like you're in a lot
Are you co-siding
The rumors?
No
The der rumors
No
To me a demotion
A demotion means
Pay decrease
That's what
That's what it means to me
I'm wrong
Yeah
Tell me what the demotion means
Cheat.
That's not a dog.
So wait, hold up.
So if I'm the head coach of the Lakers
and they make me an assistant coach
but tell me I can keep my salary,
I didn't get demoted.
You did get demoted?
Yeah.
Okay, yeah.
Your title changed, though.
Yeah, but it's a down.
Your title went down.
That's where the D-E motion comes from.
His title didn't change.
It's the same as that title.
You know what?
These niggas be hating on me.
I hate that are doing double the work
and get you.
Nigger, I came up.
I'm not even mad at y'all, niggins.
And you cracked the joke last time.
Get them for that shit.
You said last time.
What I say?
I don't know.
You're sure, it's my choice?
Shit be by choice, bro.
I know it's my choice.
If I want to come here Friday, I can't come here on a playoff.
If I want to come here on Friday, I can't come here on Friday.
I know you can.
I did it before.
I can't for what this nigga say?
No, no, no, no, no.
On Friday, I come in this Friday.
I'm going to.
I will come here this Friday if I wanted to.
I bet you.
One of my kids I win if I wanted to.
You know, if I want to come here Friday.
He can't, he's not going to tell me nothing.
He's not going to say nothing.
He's not going to say nothing.
Just so you know he's done this before.
You said he probably not going to what?
When he had COVID and shit.
No, it was flip.
I had the claws where he could.
It was like, you know, I told Flip to go home.
He don't have to be here.
If you were going to be here Friday, I walk in this shit like Kane, nigga.
It would be like, yo, no flip today.
And then what happens at 12 o'clock?
I don't want nothing to do it.
So don't act like you playing with your man.
Like, you don't know I'm coming on Friday.
I don't want to come here on Friday.
That's one, too.
I don't allow niggas that hate.
No disrespect, but all disrespect intended.
Because niggas got to do double the work.
I'm just out here living.
job. I'm trying to put off my mail.
You lose. Right. Working
twice as hard for twice to pay.
Nothing, nothing?
I forgot. No contract talk.
Shout to toy lanes, man.
Speaking of twice to pay, OJ. Simpson's estate
is about to pay $58 million.
Oh, come on, please. What the fuck is that? Let me, let me
clarify. Let me clarify what happened. So,
Ronald Goldman, okay.
You know, rest of peace.
You know, he was obviously
killed
Okay, your boyfriend
Yeah, exactly
And over time
They're trying to get him
The waiter and not the boyfriend
He wasn't a boyfriend?
He wasn't...
They never proved
That they was fucking around
Anyway
Whoever was in front of that house
Wait hold up
Am I missing something
I saw every dog in the world
Joe stop
That niggas to slap you
Wait a minute
Is that Dracula your head
Unleashed?
I'm saying
That I've seen every dock
On this matter
None of them say
And not that that means anything
But that's not
the story any of the day.
They say, she left something, she left something
in the restaurant. He saw it
brought it back. Oh, okay.
This is how you get cheated on me,
not saying now, you're not getting cheated on now.
This is how a nigga's like you get cheated on.
Oh, he brought it back. Oh, he just brought it back.
He just left to the house.
What are he driving her car?
That's okay. Yeah.
Go on, Joe. Allegedly.
Yes, they were fucking allegedly.
What are you talking about?
Anyway, this thing is crazy.
It's going.
Allegedly.
You don't think they was fucking.
He's been serious right now.
Yes.
You dead ass, yo.
She forgot something at the restaurant.
Yeah.
His dits.
Hell, you know.
What tender love, yo.
She left his dick at the restaurant.
He came out right now.
Oh, my God.
Anyway, Fred Goldman, the father of Ronald Goldman, whoever he was.
Once his fucking money.
Yes.
And so they made a claim of $58 million plus interest.
to the O.J. Simpson estate.
What's interesting about this,
because that's not really new
that they want money,
the OJ Simpson estate,
now that OJ's passed away,
has accepted the claim.
Well, no.
OJ had accepted the claim
because OJ had paid
a small portion of it.
So they...
Once you pay, you want to...
OJ paid...
No, no.
OJ paid a small portion
of that civil.
It wasn't a lot.
If he did that, you...
But he paid a little bit.
Right.
They paid up in the civil suit.
That's the, this was the resolution.
Now that he's died, his estate has all this money.
Right.
They went back and made a claim for their money that was remaining from the civil suit.
Oh, yeah.
What I'm saying is the OJ.
Simpson's the state has said, yes, we will give it to you.
They won't have no choice, though.
They do have a choice to not accept the claim.
They could have disputed it.
That's the news is they've accepted the claim.
What is there is a dispute, though?
I'm just curious because, again, can they dispute it?
Once you, like, if he's disputed, if OJ is disputing or whatever,
Once you pay onto the claim, you've accepted it.
Okay.
So now if that transfers.
Let's take step back.
I think we're missing a point.
The initial claim was for $117 million.
Okay.
Okay.
That was the civil suit disposition.
The estate has said we're willing to pay $58 million of it.
OJ was never trying to give that money.
The estate is saying we actually accept that we owe you money.
But he said OJ paid something towards the civil suit.
Is that true?
A very small amount.
And then it did everything could to block the $100.
$117 million to avoid paying it.
Okay, maybe something's different.
What was filed in Nevada court on Friday was an acceptance that we're going to give you $58 million.
But they're saying in real life we're still only going to probably give you about a million of it.
We're going to debate back and forth, but we're only going to give you about, I think he's, let me see he's pull up the exact number just so I got it right.
But I believe it was $1 million.
This is, that they said they will likely end up paying.
I don't see it right now.
Yep.
he's still hoping to round up
500,000 to a million in total assets
because the argument is we don't have the assets to pay you
but we'll give you between half a million and a million.
Right.
But the point is at least they're going to get some of this money
because when OJ was alive, they weren't going to see another dollar.
They weren't going to see another dollar.
But OJ Simpson's mistake for whatever reason saying,
we'll give you something, we'll give you a million dollars.
Okay.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I just love that
Homeboy's dad
is still alive
Standing on business.
Yeah, fuck that.
Standing on business.
I'm gonna.
Causing the Simpson family.
Havoc.
Yes.
Yes.
I don't get it.
I don't think,
I don't think,
homie even cared if you get that money.
But y'all ain't just going to be gallivanting around town.
My name will pop up every year.
So you don't believe.
I'm going to harass this shit out of y'all.
If the glove don't fit,
then to quit,
you wasn't on the side of that?
You wasn't cheering back in the days?
Why the fuck would you?
You wasn't cheering back in the days when OJ got off?
I was.
So what I'm saying, so why would, if you was cheering,
why would you say you hope that he gives their family all the time?
I was cheering.
I'm going to keep it a buck.
It's ignorant, but I'm going to keep it a buck.
You were sure because he was black?
Yes, on some, we needed a win.
And we were teenagers.
Yeah, I didn't know the intricate details.
We was in school, but that's a black win.
That's how I looked at that.
I was the same way.
I was right off Luema.
Like, it was a lot of, we caught a lot of L.
Was it Rodney King?
Rodney King?
Yeah.
All right.
I'm mistaken.
Oh, yeah.
So that's all I saw.
That's all I saw.
Ryan and King was 94.
Yeah.
I can be getting my dates for them.
No, no, no.
Wasn't that 92?
Yeah, Ronnie King was not 94.
No, no, no.
The resolution of trial was the fall of 95.
Oh, yeah, there were you.
That's what I got.
They're not guilty verdict.
But, and just for clarity sake, the initial verdict was for $33 million.
He was supposed to pay the family's boy.
Interest is ballooned up to the $170.
I just want to be clear for...
I'll keep on...
Every time I turn around, I'm filing...
Yo, yep.
Yeah.
You got some money over there?
I mean, need that.
I need that about me.
Yeah.
And I feel the same way, y'all feel.
When the, when the verdict happened, I was happy that it was not guilty.
I thought OJ, even as a kid, I thought OJ killed them.
I think OJ killed them now.
OJ.J.
Oh, my God.
Allegedly.
No, I'm not saying allegedly.
Mark, always think somebody did something.
That don't mean he did it.
He was not guilty.
In the civil suit I'm talking about, I'm talking about a civil suit, right?
We're talking about, by a preponderance of the evidence, he was found liable.
Liable and guilty.
Yeah, but.
But the civil suit.
I'm only talking about the civil suit.
I'm saying, I can say based on the civil suit
that by preponderance of the evidence,
he was responsible for their death.
But you're going to be lucky.
It's not the gay family, Nick.
They were...
That's fine.
I believe...
I know crazy take.
I believe O.J. Simpson killed those two people.
I think he did, but you keep saying a civil suit,
you know, a civil suit, you're basically guilty
to prove an innocent anyway.
Yeah, the bar is in hell.
And Mark knows that.
The bar is not in hell.
With a civil suit, you have to prove the innocence.
It could be 51-49, but it has to be by preponderance of the evidence.
The evidence has to be more persuasive than not
that you did it.
But my point is
the police didn't play fair.
They cheated the process.
There was no honesty in that process.
There's no way you could convict O.J. Simpson
beyond a reasonable doubt.
In the legal case.
So I was happy with the verdict
because the police don't get to cheat and win.
The system has the work.
That's what I was happy.
I was happy for that reason.
But because I still thought that OJ did it,
I still felt happy to see the civil suit
where they could show the evidence
and say, look, clearly he did this shit.
Clearly y'all owe us to money.
Now, where I think it was completely fucked up
is that when OJ got convicted,
for basically taking his own shit back,
and they roofed them basically to make up for the old thing.
Again, that's cheating.
You know what I mean?
That's what I hate about the system.
They basically cheated, OJ.
If he won, he won.
You can't go back and now get him for kidnapping and stealing.
That's corny to me.
Did he steal?
It was a, I don't think so.
Based on I heard that, it was his shit.
Then he'd do that.
Yeah, he stole.
He stole.
I'm saying, no.
I imagine correctly.
Just because I don't get an answer to you.
what don't mean I'm being equivocating.
I'm saying no, I don't think he stole because it was his shit.
But it wasn't his shit.
I understand your point.
You may disagree with my analysis.
You're saying I'm not going.
You suggested I was equivocating.
I'm not.
I'm saying no directly.
My answer is no.
We can disagree.
But I think the answer was no.
I don't think O.J. should have been found guilty under those circumstances.
But if you, if you believe he did it, you still shouldn't get 10 years for it or whatever
he got.
He got 20.
Yeah, people get probation for that shit.
People fucking rob banks and get out fast and OJ got out.
That's true.
Well, we agree on this was the doubleback for...
Yeah, of course.
And that's what I hate what the...
I mean, we know how many times
if judges said,
yo, if I see you again,
that's your ass.
That means they're counting this shit
right here when they gave you to stuff on the risk.
That's when you get found guilty.
That way you get found not guilty.
You can be like, not guilty,
but if I see you again, I'm doubling it up.
Like, the fuck is that?
But that was the point that we was just making.
You said, yo, he was guilty.
And we said, no, he's not guilty.
And you said he was guilty in the civil side,
but not in the criminal side.
Right.
Cool.
So the same judge can say,
yo dog, I thought you was guilty.
I'm going to roof you.
And again, if the, if he was found
not guilty primarily because of
police misconduct, which was right and fair,
if I'm the judge,
I'm going to say, you're not guilty.
You got all. Don't come back in here for real bullshit, though.
No, you're guilty. You got off on a technicality.
Because we, the investigation
fucked it off. You shouldn't do that as I'm saying.
It's always just being circular.
Let me say you shouldn't.
Yeah, and we're breaking our OJ again.
Speaking of money.
It's never going to stop.
That's never going to stop.
I just want to shout out, McKinsey, Scott.
former wife of
Jeff Bezos, she is now
given $700 million
in money
to HBCUs.
That's a lot of fucking money.
That's a lot of fucking money.
I don't care how much you work.
That's a lot of money.
I'm looking into that a little bit.
Did you have...
Who took...
Who took her a visit?
Nah, I'm looking at the deep into that.
So to speak.
I'm saying, who left an imprint on her?
Who left? You know what I'm saying? Shout out to how man.
Big imprint.
Yeah, yeah.
No, but that's great.
And the other thing is she gave like $70 or $80 million to Howard.
She gave money to Spelman.
That's fire.
But she's not just giving money to the big name brand,
popular, boogie, middle class HBCUs.
Alcorn State or some shit.
Yeah, she's giving money to the HBCUs.
There's over 100 HBCUs in this country,
over 110 HBCUs in this country.
And most of the people only know Howard Spellman,
Morehouse, you know, like the big ones.
Morgan State.
Morgan State is, they've had some questionable.
emissions policies in the 90s or 80s.
But there's now this
moment where people are realizing it is a whole lot of HBCUs,
the Dell States of the world. You know what I mean?
The Lincoln's, not just the Lincoln
in PA, but the other Lincoln, like,
that need the money, and I'm glad that she's using her
money for that. That's a great way.
That's a great way.
That's amazing. Yeah.
That's it.
Joe,
you're going to get some money, yeah.
Hmm?
You're going to get some money.
When am I going to get some money?
Give.
Oh, anytime.
I'm always ready to give.
You think I won't.
Why you talk to me like that?
You think I won't give?
You said fuck them kids.
All right.
Yeah, but at a certain amount.
I believe the children of the few children.
You're talking about the promises.
Or turkeys.
If you had known about his turkey drive, you would have gave, right?
Yeah, definitely.
Yeah.
How about it going?
How many turkeys?
But he don't like me to see the other side of him
so he wouldn't invite him.
He don't want to see politician-ish.
What's the other side?
Politician-ish.
We don't get to see that.
Or I've...
You think your affiliation with me
or get you not voted.
Not voted in.
That's your man.
And go there dress up next time.
Nigger that hoodie shit.
Nigger, go up there and represent.
You probably be a politician.
Why would I do that?
Oh, you also, Russell.
Well, alienates the people.
Ooh.
He's good.
He got it.
He got it.
He got it.
He got it.
Oh, he ready.
Oh, he ready.
Okay.
I need to hear more.
For my vote.
I got to hear more.
I need to hear policy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I don't know.
You got to earn mine.
You got to earn mine.
Yo, Joe, you got hot Cheetos up here.
What's going on, man?
Okay.
So I don't know if anybody else cares about this as much as I do.
Mm-hmm.
But starting in, I want to say,
December.
That's around the corner.
Flaming hot Cheetos
will no longer be red.
They will be a new
die-free
flaming hot Cheeto.
Oh, I'm here for it.
No. Dog.
No. Look at the new flaming hot chito.
No. No. That's the new flaming hot chito.
The naked choice. That's the naked choice.
Hold on. I love y'all. The white side of is coming out.
What did you say? He loves Cheetos.
No, no, he's trying to play.
I haven't eaten a cheetah on a very long time.
You said why don't they stop making it?
Yeah.
Because the holes love hot Cheetos-ish.
I ain't know that.
I'm also a hell, I guess.
Yeah.
It's very successful for them.
Oh.
But, however, reports have come out.
They are horrible.
For your health.
They say your shit.
All of that.
Your stool will turn, bread.
So it's Cheetos and Doritos.
Oh, shit.
Doritos had us flaming hot?
No, but the Dutch cheese.
But what they're saying is.
You should say red like that?
Cheetos and Doritos go naked with new products free of artificial colors and flavors.
So that's what you're talking about.
The NKD on the packaging is naked, which they're not going to have any colors.
The products will be Doritos simply naked nacho cheese, Doritos simply naked, cool ranch,
Cheetos simply naked, puffs, and Cheetos simply naked flaming hot.
I like this.
Cool Ranch Doritos ain't going to be cool ranch no more.
No, they are.
They're just not going to have no bullshit in it.
I have the blue shit on it.
Yeah, you need the blue shit.
It's sprinklers.
I got to try it.
I'm not.
I'm scared.
Because now that's how they're going to get you
because when you know how you can look in the bag.
You're like, all, diggy, season this one good,
but this one is good.
Now they all naked.
Just that fast, I see how artists don't want to go independent.
The other shit will still be for sale, though.
They're not getting rid of the other.
Oh, this is a separate brain.
Yeah.
Oh, all right.
All right.
We're good.
Come on.
We all.
No, mine say Flaming Hot Cheetos will not be red anymore.
And that one I understand because they were talking about health complications.
Yeah, all of these are hell.
They said all of this shit is horrible for you.
All of that shit is horrible for you.
No, that's what I'm telling you.
I ain't eat a cheeto on a very long time.
It says fans of the more traditional Cheetos and Doritos products will still be able to purchase their favorite snacks.
If you want the poison, you have choices.
It's like when Doritos did them baked shit.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Can I still get red flaming hot cheetos?
Yes.
Yes.
Okay, then I was still wrong information.
Yes.
All is right in the world.
Yeah, we don't care about that now.
All is right.
I don't think sweeties, uh, ramen would have been the same.

You want to hide you.
Yes.
I'm voting for it, nigga.
What?
I'm voting.
Oh, shit.
No, but listen, are you working on it?
Are you working on it?
Please just be honest.
You don't have to do this.
It's for all jokes aside.
We're going to make a joke, but just please,
because this shit is fascinating.
I don't even know what you're talking.
I don't know what you're talking.
The nigga, your political position that you might.
You think turkeys won't get it done.
They got them.
You baked turkeys
Are you been practicing?
Just the baster?
The gobble gobbles?
Listen.
Oh, shit.
Have you been working on your speech

I don't know what you're talking.
I heard they want you to work with them.
But are you worried about how you'll come across to the Gable?
And what?
The polls.
What's there would you be in?
Oh, shit.
If you're wonderful office,
How do you fear would you be?
How do you fear at the polls?
What is your game plan, though?
Bro, I don't have a game plan.
I don't know what y'all talking about.
I'm not, in time of my gosh.
That won't get it done.
Yo, you should let Mark run be your campaign manager.
You're a campaign manager?
That might work.
Yeah, you body it.
For real.
I don't even know what your niggas is talking.
Oh, here we go.

and I'm on the front line for my son. They get like the
Army Reserve. Just like at Fess
Fess. I'm not going to do that.
If you have an issue with that, I ain't going to do that.
So you've been learning some tricky words while you've been going.
I know. That's your second joy.
You know.
I think you'd be reading on Friday.
You got to read because I don't want to watch.
Yo, you replace your bide time
with read time.
That's crazy.
Would you ever be honest? Because I know you do this thing
where you try to, uh-d-d-d-d-d-down-lay it?
Like, all jokes aside, bro, I don't know.
What are you talking about?
You're doing public appearances.
You're dressing preppy.
You're getting out-turb.
You're getting out turkeys in the hood.
Dude, you're gearing up for something.
I've done a bunch of those things for the last decade.
Go ahead.
Disrespect them.
Go ahead.
Disrespect who?
The people that want you to be a politician.
Disrespect the company.
Yo, shut up, man.
Disrespect the niggas that fucking put you out there, nigga.
What they put me out there to do?
Give out some turkeys to some people that desperately need.
Look, you're shaking hands with the mayor.
I've shook the mayor's hand a bunch of us.
I know.
And y'all lining it up.
I ain't going to lie.
I can ask you a question?
If you become a politician, you think it'll help with the other shit?
You could race that?
You think you could race that?
This niggas is not called.
I'm sorry.
All right, my phone.
Yo, you got to just.
I love this, nigga.
He don't give a ball.
I don't give a fuck if I had that I'll pay for it.
That's my man.
Whatever you need, nigga.
Thank you, sir.
And I'll be a campaign manager.
Yeah.
For free.
Raymore?
Yeah.
I wouldn't charge a nickel.
I think we can get it done.
I have it.
What is,
what is going to be your campaign to the voters out there
that would like rent to be affordable?
He just going to lie.
I agree with him.
I agree with him.
Oh, he got it.
We worked.
He got it.
He got it.
Oh, yeah.
He got some campaigned down.
We got a lot.
Back to gays.
This thing of leaving, come back, it's still there.
All right, we got to work on our game.
And you can't be nervous.
You killing the rich shit.
Let me see what else they might ask this.
This is fun.
Bitch, what are we going to do about the roads?
Didn't work?
The roads.
What about them?
They fucked up.
They're not that bad.
That ain't going to get it done.
We got to work on that.
We got to work on that.
Some of the elderly people out there.
who has seen crime rise in Newark
and wants to be safe and wants stiffer penalties
for some of these thugs, violent crimes,
and drug dealers especially.
Crimes down in the city of North.
Mm.
And about time, you run.
And it's bag up.
It's back up.
I'm not running for office.
You're running for something.
Shops of the people with North, Brian.
Where's it gonna be?
Where's that, bro?
Where's it going to be?
Anyway, bro, what I'm saying.
If you run a . . . . . . . . . . . you're trying to be the mayor.
The mayor's got to be the mayor.
You forgot where you from?
I swear to God.
Yo.
That was funny.
You want East Orange?
This is fun now.
I don't think of shit all day.
If it should run and get and get elected, you'll hate?
Tell truth.
No.
No.
I mean, I hit a scratch off.
Yes, he's going to hate.
Thank you, I.
Mark will be like Dick Cheney to George Bush, Nick.
He can be the one behind it.
It's just the face.
You got to do this.
You got to do that.
Don't do that.
What?
Nick, I ain't George Bush.
He good?
Y'all look alike, though, a little bit.
By the time you run.
I see the cheekballs.
This is great, bro.
Mark, you want to run for something?
Never.
For real?
Yeah, never.
You just want to campaign, take niggas money.
I want to help people win.
I'd rather be behind the scenes.
My nigger.
Joe had a question.
Yeah, why he lied on this shit.
I said, I didn't lie.
I see him on the poll.
I have a lot of niggas.
I've been asked to run a million times.
I say no.
No, nigga.
What did they ask you for him for?
Junior councilman?
Vice President of the Green Party.
On the Green Party ticket.
I was asked to run for my first.
Don't step on.
It's just funny joke.
Junior councilman.
You always do that smart shit with a junior councilman.
This thing is stupid, yo.
Comptroller.
Vice president of the United States.
Green party ticket, yeah.
But you know that was not.
All right.
So one you could actually win.
Yeah, no.
I don't want to do it.
I have no desire.
I couldn't run from Maryland if I wanted to.
Okay, there we go.
And I would, I think I would have what.
No, you couldn't.
Is he could?
Watch your fucking mouth.
No, he might go to Philly.
I mean, anybody could run, like Slewa.
Like Slewa.
You might be here.
You might be here.
Yeah, get you a little brain.
I thought you had a shot in Philly.
I didn't go to get a green beret.
I thought you got a shot.
It's going to be a shot.
Oh, shit.
It's going to be a shot if he can get up there.
You say, think the pepper spray
with some shit?
Oh, shit.
That was just a warning.
Oh, my God, yo.
Joe, I had a question, Joe.
My favorite part of the show.
No, no, no, for real.
It's the topic up there, charging your friends.
So when is it okay to charge your friends?
I mean, two people that came up together.
You know what I mean?
You're both successful.
And back in the days, you might have done something for them for free.
Is that up there?
Charging your friends.
Charging your friends.
Above OJ.
Third one from the bottom.
Is there?
Yes.
And then both y'all up.
You said that.
I look there.
I saw you.
I saw your eyes going to the top, too.
I'm getting dumber and dumb with you
Like this
No, for real
Anyway, I'm sorry for you
No, both for y'all are up
Yes
But they still want you to do things
Off the humbug
When is it okay to charge them
Or when is it okay to say no
You're on some nitrous shit
What's the thing?
No
I mean like
What if I'm good at?
Is it taking you out your way?
Yo, Flip I want you to do this content piece
For me
It's something that I get paid
And doing
What I'm sorry, go ahead
It's something I get paid
And if you're both up
What's your man
You can't
Up up?
I want it might be
One of us might be up and up.
Yes, we both up.
They can do this shit for Imani for free, bro.
No, it has nothing to do with Yomani.
I'm just saying I noticed that a lot of people...
You can just talk to them direct.
I noticed that a lot of people...
You have to put us through this whole rigmarole.
No, no, no, Mark, I noticed that a lot of people
that I...
That helped me in the beginning.
They helped me in the beginning.
Now that I'm in the position that I'm in,
they don't want to pay me, nigga.
They don't want to pay me in this loyalty.
I'm starting to say, fuck loyalty.
Or is it just...
Niggas, you just worked with it was cool with it.
Back of the days when I was coming up?
No, you just said they helped me.
No, I ain't paid him.
All right, then.
So what the fuck is you doing?
Return the fucking favor.
But no, no.
Listen, help me by making me be in a fucking video shoot
or making me being a fucking,
nigga, help me become visible?
All right, cool.
Let me ask.
Cool, nigga, I'm up.
And what I'm doing.
My field is numbers, nigga.
I'm gonna do it for free.
But how many freebies do I give them?
This is my question to you,
the person asking you, what is your relationship?
Is it just you cool with them?
It's my heart.
It's your man.
It don't matter.
No, that matters.
It also depends.
It also depends on the list.
lift, I feel like.
Yeah, exactly.
What are they asking you to do?
Is it going out your way?
Is it difficult?
Or is it something that's outside of you?
That too.
There's a lot of factors here.
Okay, okay.
And do they need it by a certain time?
Like, sometimes I'll do favors for people, but it's like we don't need it right
away.
And I was talking to, I was talking to both of you earlier about, I was saying, that's like
the camera on a Mace thing, but you got corrected me and said no, because
Mace was saying, let's get the money from the label.
Right.
Right.
So I was saying.
I'm not charging you.
Yeah.
We're still him charging it.
Right.
That's what I'm saying.
Industry math.
But that's when I start to feel away
when people ask me to do favors
on the basis of our friendship
when the money's not even theirs.
Like I got friends who will work at companies
or universities,
but can you come speak for free?
And it's like, you're my man,
y'all come speak for free as my man,
but if the company has a budget...
And they just gave this white person
40,000 to speak.
Right.
You might look better to your company
but I can get marketing for free.
But come on, bro, now this is what I do.
To your point,
this is what I do for a living.
So that's the shit I don't like.
or if I was going to pay someone else to do the thing.
Yes.
Like maybe it's not the same rate that you pay me.
I'll give me something, though.
It's taking advantage of your friend to look good to the company.
Do you risk the friendship and say, yo, come on, my nigga.
Like, what are we doing?
Do you risk the friendship with doing that?
Because I know you got the bread.
Fuck count on pockets.
I just know.
No, you may have came up.
I just know you got the bread.
And you start to question yourself.
Do you really value my time?
He'll say fuck count pockets and then count pockets.
Not just that.
If it's your friend and you could do something to have.
help your friend and catapult them to a better situation.
Why wouldn't you?
I look at that like I'm doing it.
The only way to keep what you have is by freely giving it.
Like, why wouldn't you do that?
I mean, that niggas playing this fucking money.
What the fuck you talk about?
That's your game to get from looking out?
More?
Who look out?
All you're overcharging me.
What are you talking about?
Okay, we don't get into that.
Okay.
Stop the record.
Come on, Joe.
We always get into it.
All right, we're cool.
We're cool.
Do you understand what I'm saying?
Controversy.
Yes.
Do you feel like at any point a person should charge their friend
when y'all both are up?
Like this is what I do.
How many favors do I give based off of loyalty and friendship?
I see it both ways.
I understand both ways.
There's no wrong answer for me.
If we both up up, then, yeah, you're asking me to do a service.
You're going to pay me for it.
Or we both are doing great.
I've done for you, or you've done for me for free.
Now you turn in the corner looking for the feature for feature.
I understand both ways.
You say that on how you want to carry it.
If it's my friend, I'm not getting offended either way.
Or if it's my friend, I might not charge you my rate.
Like, you can get it for the cheap.
Yeah, so me.
You know what I'm saying?
You get it for the cheat.
If you're my friend, I mean, I'll do it, but I mean, do you want me to do it soon?
That part too.
All of that matters.
The time frame matters.
Like, if you need me to jump the day.
Because you my friend, I'll do it.
But do you want to skip the line of the people that's paying?
Yeah, yeah.
I'll get to it quick.
So, I mean, it depends on you want to carry it.
I got you.
Oh, man.
All right.
I don't think I have anything else.
I know we have Draymond Angel up there, Mark's favorite topic.
You got anything on that?
I just was wondering what the line is for the insult.
So Draymond was in the NBA game playing and getting heckled by a fan.
Players get heckled all the time.
Eventually, we saw him confront the fan, and they start having a little back and forth in front of the fan.
And after the game, they asked him, Draymond, what got you so upset?
Because he's like, Drayman seemed to be involving the referees.
And at one point they were saying he was trying to get the fan removed.
There's been some debate about that.
But the very least he was upset and bringing the official in,
like make this dude stop at the very least.
And when they asked him after the game, what happened?
He said, well, he kept calling me a woman or calling me a woman's name.
What we found out was the guy was saying,
hey, Angel Reese, he kept referring to Draymond as Angel Reese
because of how he was shooting and how he was playing.
And for Draymond, that was crossing, like crossing a line.
I don't know.
I want to know, like, what is this?
It's a good insult.
It's a good insult.
It's also not an insult sort of, but it is.
It is if you're missing layups.
Yeah.
It is if you're missing.
But to me,
she's a hooper.
So if you call me Angel Reese,
I don't care if you call me Angel Reese.
I don't care if you call me Moses.
If I'm missing, I'm missing, right?
To me, it's not more of an insult.
To me, it's funnierer with Angel Reese,
but it seemed to set him off a little bit.
You're already frustrating because I'm frustrated because I'm missing.
And now you call, like, fuck you.
Is that crossing the line, no?
No.
No, it's not crossing the line.
I remember I used to go to Georgetown games and Philly games.
They would be calling Alan Iverson, a jailbird.
They would call a nigga all types of names.
Ask him to be a players what they were called in Utah.
Boston.
Boston.
You get what I'm saying?
Call you Angel Reese.
Noggin' nigga they call your family shit in Boston.
Yeah.
Fuck you're talking about like.
They're not overstepping your boundaries by calling you Angel Reese.
That's funny.
But see, J.
their mind went over there to that tall white boy stood up.
And it was like 6'9-2.
Like,
it became a conversation.
It became a conversation.
I'm like, yeah, I'm just saying you're a little too far.
Brad?
Yeah, shit different.
You know what I mean?
Nah, I don't think you went too far.
Me neither.
At all.
All right, I got a part of the show and I got the end of the show.
Part of the show is from a gentleman named D-T-Y-D-85.
shout out to him
I think
that's the art
Simon
let me these
oh shit
okay
awesome then
shout out of him
but he says
it's pretty interesting
in a film called
about time
the main character
accompanied his friend
on a blind
double date
when they entered the restaurant
they were greeted
and explained to
that the entire wait staff
was blind
and their entire experience will happen downstairs in complete darkness.
During the dinner, they were seated across from two ladies.
They would only see at the end of the dinner when they got outside.
Obviously, most of the cast is in a relationship, but hypothetically, would you go on a truly blind date of that nature?
Much love, James.
Nope.
Yep.
I think that's fire, you know.
We need more creative date ideas.
I think that's fire.
I need to see this first off.
But I'm married.
I ain't going to do that.
And I think that we, in real relationships,
we kind of get jaded by the physical shit so much.
You know what I mean?
And the glitz and glintz.
Like, dude got a fly car.
Dude was iced out.
You know what I'm saying?
That the real meat and potatoes,
we kind of forego that nowadays,
especially in this society.
Like a good date?
Yeah, it's just like, yo, like coffee.
I just read some shit the other day.
girls like, yo, I think a dude disrespecting me
if he take me to fucking coffee, that means
he's not valuing me on my time.
I think that's crazy.
You're 23-year-olds don't be liking coffee,
man. He's like hot chocolate.
I just think that, yo, a real date is getting
an older person talking and powellin
to see if we are even compatible.
For a prostitute culture
kind of changed that.
Yeah, you're right. So I think that's fly.
I would do this.
Just sitting across from the table, you can't see him,
and y'all just chopping it up? I think that's fine.
And no hurts if you go outside and then you look at the person you're not attracted to him.
You never got to see them again.
It's just a fly date.
A date could be a great experience.
Or they want you over with their personality and you do want to see them again because now the intangible shit is better.
That's dope.
When does that ever?
That don't happen.
That's not going to happen.
When they want us over with their personalities?
You know, didn't somebody base over their personality more?
Yeah, but I didn't find them attracted at all.
I got to be attracted to you first before anything.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I ain't never seen.
Yeah.
I'm not attracted to you.
It's only we can be cool.
An unattractive woman?
Face.
Why?
Once, because I was trying some new shit.
And it didn't work.
I couldn't do it.
She was freaking?
Huh?
Yeah, exactly.
Huh?
I didn't hear me.
I got headphones on.
I ain't got headphones on.
Okay.
All right.
They put you on the Reddit big screen for following the disabled baddies.
Huh?
What?
Yeah.
This has been such a good show.
What kind of disability?
That's the freaking.
Look.
Look, disabled cuties.
I got it.
Look, I love this nigga freeze.
Look at freeze.
He don't get for fuck.
Yo, he's like, no legs, no problem.

Oh, shit with no head.
Freeze.
I don't see the problem.
Y'all discriminate?
No, I don't know.
That's what it sounds like.
It sounds like it's being discriminatory.
I love it.
No.
So I'm brand for free.
Freeze.
You follow the disabled baddies.
If she's cute the face, I'll follow.
That's dope.
Even if that's it.
That's it.
I just follow.
No, no.
I mean, that's it.
I don't fuck.
I'm not trying to link none of y'all.
Will they?
Can they link?
No.
Yes.
Yes.
That's darky for me.

That was fucked up.
That was fucked up.
You ask.

And Freeze is like Denzel over there, too.
Over there.

He got shit on me!
No, over there,

When they rode through

Disabled baddies are crazy
Why would they guys
Why would they see you follow that page?

That's what he got cool
With his hand in the cookie jar

Don't fucking kick shame
We don't do that up here.
That's right.
Ice is the greatest.
He really is.
Why would you say that, though, Joe?
No, because I've seen it.
Let me follow that page to you.
But wait, now, I know that Freeze, never mind, but freeze from back in the day,
he's never hid his love for the disabled babies.
What are you talking about?
Okay.
That's dope.
Wait.
Wait.
That's fine.
That's fired, though.
That's not a disability.
That's not a disability.
Watch your fucking mouth, nigga.
Little people are disabled.
I mean, it's in the same.
They're cousins of me.
Yo, fuck, no.
You're doing it.
You're going to fuck y'all up.
Yo, you're not that.
Hey, if you like them and you like them,
then, nigga, the fuck are you talking about?
I thought that was his bag.
It's not his bag.
It's not wrong with that.
I think it's awesome.
Yeah, I think it's dope, too, man.
Y'all saw all the cute women out there for a world.
You can't even follow a page in peace, you think.
You need a burger.
Please, you should get a burner, go.
Icicles or some shit like that.
Promise, I won't have no burner.
Yeah, check, check the text.
Check the text.
Check the text.

That is nothing wrong with that.

Amani used to be trying to battle me over the bitch.
Was that you?
With the chick on me on?

Everybody was trying.
Everybody was a young.
