Starting point is 00:00:00 The thoughts, views, and opinions expressed by this podcast as well as its hosts are for entertainment purposes only. I repeat, it is not serious. It is not real. No one is exposing, revealing, indicting, or telling you anything about themselves. Also, we do not encourage you to try this at home. We are trained professionals who do not have your best interests at heart or our own.
Starting point is 00:00:26 Enjoy the show. Herey, herey, from this point moving forward, all words are being recorded. We've been off mic having a slice. The audience hates when that happens. Sorry. Especially the patronies. But yes, we've been having a blast. The jokes have been flying.
Starting point is 00:00:43 And now it's silence of the lambs. Look at the lambs. Look at the lambs. Go ahead. Now, is Jesus. Ish. We were doing our last looks. Last looks means phones away.
Starting point is 00:00:57 You could, the Honorable Muhammad, he'll be, you could put your phone away. Because you know he's texting somebody important. You know, he's talking about something. I'm at work, right? He's question. Yeah, it's somebody. He was one of them. He passed away, you idiot.
Starting point is 00:01:14 Elijah Muhammad. Oh, that's not how. The mother'ship. On the mothership. Oh, my God. They're in match. Oh, my God. So we were doing last looks.
Starting point is 00:01:27 was over there brushing his hair. He asked somebody if he could use their brush. Ask somebody flip, nigger. I didn't know if it was you a mark. I didn't, I didn't know. Flip, why you have a brush? That's, don't worry. Let's get to it.
Starting point is 00:01:39 Okay. This is a valid question. It's a bad. It got me a brush. My she used to look crazy. You did start brushing your beard recently. Get back to the story. So anyway, so you used flips brush,
Starting point is 00:01:52 you start brushing his hair. You hit the sides, he hit the back, he hit the corners, and he hit the top. That's my man. I'm like, home boy. You don't need to brush for all of them spots no more. No. No, you're good now.
Starting point is 00:02:04 You don't need it. You're hitting the top and, uh, I'll keep hold. But you don't have to. Well, you know, you're going to go on. My shit coming back, bro. No. Hey, hey, I'm watching first, though.
Starting point is 00:02:29 We're going to know. You can't hide it, nigga. I'm wearing no hats. You try to wear a hat one time. We're going to know. We're going to know. I don't care. Would you go baldheaded?
Starting point is 00:02:38 Yeah, but at a certain age, you can't wear the hats no more, right? Because then we're teen your citizens. You can't wear hats no more. What age is that? 57. No, that's when you just get a classier hat. Yeah, you get the old.
Starting point is 00:02:53 The old is, the age goes shit, the little fuck. How old is, uh. There's a 58 year. old man on Instagram right now and put one of the teenage citizens in the outfits on and he posted he both they both the picture he looked good i thought he looked good boy they flamed his they flamed him up in the comments so then he was in the comments clapping back they say ooh he's sassy like he dressed oh my damn they're lose and they say they're shut up to take you nothing you can do and i'm talking shit i'll probably have a ad on that 50s
Starting point is 00:03:22 now it's just different wait you're the only one slow down don't down don't know I mean, I'm not even saying, Lord, you don't do one, Lord. So they didn't make it younger. When we was in our fort, when people was in their 40s when we was kids, they didn't wear the shit that we wear today. Culture was different.
Starting point is 00:03:38 Yeah, they're just like adults. Yeah, they're just like chrome folks. And niggas out here now be 50 years old with some fucking. That's not great. Double-s-souled Tim's in a sweatsuit. My mom and friends was coming to crib and dabber dance. That's what I'm saying.

But they called them, and the top, the sunroof was back. The sunroof, and it looked funny when you got braids, and it's like that. Because we never knew. I'm still looking at TI like, no one on the corner got swagger-like, but niggas on the corner dude.
Starting point is 00:04:48 Niggas on the corner got hair. They got a full, so, yeah, the room had a, the room had a blather. It made you look at niggas different. The pandemic made me look at niggas different too. Why? Why? You all the dye in the Beijing, your barber, your manicures. You niggas was looking.

Starting point is 00:24:19 Can you sleep with boxers on? It sucks, right? Tank top, nigga. Stupid, that is. Tank top in the bed? Yeah. He, Nick, he has changed. Shame with his body.
Starting point is 00:24:32 No. I don't want to see me like this. What's the house catch on fire and I got to run out? I don't want to see. His name like, like, I don't want to see me like, you know what's no? You put your shirt in your boxes too, don't you?
Starting point is 00:24:47 Oh, wow. He's playing with you. Yeah, he disrespect to you. I love Ish, yo. That's guy's crazy. You don't move around when you sleep? Yeah. Over real?
Starting point is 00:24:59 Are you a bad sleeper, is? Nah, not really. You'll toss and turn a little bit. So you never instantly ready to show your lady who the boss is. Like, you need a second. On the wake? No, I'm just saying. In the middle of night.
Starting point is 00:25:11 If you got clothes on, I'm saying. Oh, I got your tank top, you got your box. Oh, he tried to say, do you never, you never just turn up. Nah, ah, ha. He tried to, remember that shit off, like, box in there. He tried to act.
Starting point is 00:25:21 Hold on, hold on. Yeah, yeah. And freeze. Hey, yeah. Oh, hold on. He should be. He should be. He should be doing it.
Starting point is 00:25:33 You're in the mood, aren't you? Yeah. Oh, freeze. Take it all for me. Oh, shit. Wait, yo, yo, yo, she using a flit. You're using a flit. She uses her foot to take it off him.
Starting point is 00:25:47 You know. Oh, he's going to be it. That'll work. That is hilarious. Oh, my God. Oh, shit. Oh, that is funny. It's wrong with y'all?
Starting point is 00:25:55 She used her foot. That's what you know a nigger is a sniper. She used her foot. She used her foot. Is she? Yo, get naked in the bed, man. Pause. Go, you're missing out of good sleep.
Starting point is 00:26:08 Eighty-seven. You did that, right? Intro shit. All right. Yeah, prize picks. We did. Everyone's here. This is flip.
Starting point is 00:26:14 It's a look at y'all. It's Tuesday. This is Flip. I'm on Flipside, and whatever little Tuesday verse Friday jokes these niggins got, I'm not with all a division. I'm not with fucking fucking up the morale or some shit. I'm on flip side and all of that shit that Mark is going to try to do. You know what he?
Starting point is 00:26:36 There ain't going to be nobody, but Mark don't care about the morale. He don't care. He is morale. Who feel good. That's true. do care and in fact to push them morale up let me just say let me echo you the fourth quarter JVP
Starting point is 00:26:50 everybody here's making great moves I'm excited and proud to be part of the team I saw your pream interview premium nines you spoke that shout to you Joe on YouTube shout out to those brothers album out now but thank you guys that it was it was well received yeah
Starting point is 00:27:06 well received that was one of your better interviews you asked questions that I would ask in music nerd world yes I knew I did good when somebody in the comment said, Chad GBT gave them questions. Damn. That's a compliment today. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:20 What somebody put it on chat? That's a compliment. Yeah, but other than that, was the only comment I saw like that. Everybody said the question, they killed me for Jeans and Thames. That's funny. That was funny.
Starting point is 00:27:29 Yeah, y'all killed me too for James and Tim. At some point. A little hip hoppers. Yeah, but it was great. It was a complete honor. I'm glad that the fans enjoyed it. Honor to be a part of it. It was great.
Starting point is 00:27:40 And thank you, God. And now that the smoke was cleared. I like that now that's a pre-m album. You know, I just do this morning. I do too. Yeah, I'm sorry. I do too. I'm sorry, Internet.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Yeah, I was a little scared because of all the reception. Not only did like a shallow listen, but I listened all the way through it again this morning. I liked it a lot, actually. Yeah. Nause is rapping his ass off. He is. And the criticisms of the beats I just don't get. I enjoy that.
Starting point is 00:28:01 Yeah, beats are doing exactly what they need to do to let Nause do what he needed to do. Yeah. Listen, I saw, I saw Nause perform during the Thunder Spurs game. Really dope performance. Amazon played it for hours, hours and hours and hours, even after the game ended. And he did two new songs he did, Welcome to Underground and Get Ready.
Starting point is 00:28:22 Sounded great live. It wasn't an album that when I heard it, prior to it coming out, I thought that the fans would just immediately get and be like, oh, this is crazy, it ain't that. Like, people know music. Welcome to the underground is fire. That's one of the things where I thought they really hit their stride together.
Starting point is 00:28:39 That she was fire. Yeah, no. Shout out, shout out to those guys. I'm glad that y'all enjoyed the interview. Smoking on the fourth quarter pack. And it's funny because when it came out, I guess came out 9 a.m., the fans lost their minds, the JVP fans. Everybody calm down.
Starting point is 00:28:53 Like, you released the show like three hours later, right? Yeah. People were making think pieces about why the Patreon didn't drop. By the Patreon didn't drop. Think pieces, complaints there were about to start a petition. I'm like, just relax. It's going to be a couple hours. That's all you're just creating space for, right?
Starting point is 00:29:08 It's a, and I'm appreciative of that, too. Yes. There's a part of the fan base that does that. there's a large part of the fan base that knows the time it is and understands you don't really have to communicate everything too but it's dope it's dope super dope the year couldn't have been what it is
Starting point is 00:29:23 without the chatter from the community without the good shit the bad shit the clippers the think pieces the fake narratives the ones you get right like at the end of the year
Starting point is 00:29:39 it's like album release day for me album release day is the day to It's yours. This is what it took to get here And the creation of it That's what December is for me. Thank God a lot of people didn't make it this year.
Starting point is 00:29:52 People died. People are still having fucking Health issues and private battles And family conflict And just internal shit, depression. The Rob Reiner story will get to shortly. But nothing to not be grateful for. I'm not going to hold you hostage here with my spiel.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Well, I turn to revolt. Oh, Park smoked that. Shout to all of them. That was great. That was a great panel. That was a great panel. Go Revolt. Yeah, man.
Starting point is 00:30:21 That was a lot of fun. And there's going to be two more episodes, I believe. So it's not done. Tell them again what it is. It was a year on wrap-up. It was me, Rob Markman, head, Elsie, and Evie. And we sat down and talked shit about what we liked and loved about last year. I loved it.
Starting point is 00:30:38 I loved it. It was amazing. Park, I mean, between the Levi's ad and this, are you moving in the a new direction professionally. Are you trying to be more like public facing? I don't know. When it's the right thing I am. Hey, if I see you on Top Gun 3.
Starting point is 00:30:54 When it's the right thing, I'll do it. That's all it comes down to. I don't want to run around and do a million podcasts and shit. But if it's a great situation with people I respect, then I'm going to do it without a question. That's what's up. And Flip, I also saw you in Chinatown. Come on, man. No, it was a great.
Starting point is 00:31:13 It was an excellent interview. Did you've been Chinese gangsters. I learned a bunch. Shout to Chinatown. Shout to people over there. You know, same thing. Just doing what? Flip do? Going outside and just being adventurous. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:24 So I appreciate that. Yeah. Seriously, I ain't trying to be funny. Because you know that they like a closed off community. So for them to welcome you in and be talking to you and letting you interview. I mean, that's a big thing. Non-threatening. I mean.
Starting point is 00:31:39 Black though. Another non-threatening nigger. I'm talking to you. He will know. Listen. It wasn't easy to get in there. It's still not easy. They're still very close-knitted.
Starting point is 00:31:48 But I was able to communicate with some right people up there, trying to gang war stories, and they just showed me a lot of love. They look like they trusted you. And the bull was taking you down a little pathway. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I like flipping his journalist bag. Me too. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:32:02 Thank you. Yeah. You can't be aggressive. They kick my ass anyway. Oh, shit. Real quick, me and J. Real quick, me and J. I was there recording yesterday with the country.
Starting point is 00:32:12 with the Kung Fu Master Tequah. You know? No. That's a great deal. You all looked at me and said, yo, they're over there
Starting point is 00:32:20 just randomly just start practicing. He did pop, we may get fucked up in here. He didn't curse. I said, let me be a little nicer and maybe not crack my jokes. But shout out to them, man.
Starting point is 00:32:29 I appreciate that. Yeah, I shout them out because I'm horrible at Lost and Found. Like, I worry about that. Like, when they take one of y'all and hide y'all somewhere and they call the friends.
Starting point is 00:32:40 You ain't go to pick up? No, I'm going to pick up. No, I'm going to pick up, but... Are you going to pay the ransom? I'm going to help. No, no, you're done. You're done. And they're done, and they're looking for you.
Starting point is 00:32:48 They're calling the friends to see, hey, when you last with them, what places are you familiar? I would be, I would... Where would I be getting? If they call you and we got Queensville. I would never say, Chinatown. Let's look there. If they have me... If the Chinese call you and they have me, are you going to pay my ransom?
Starting point is 00:33:06 No. You got to do it. I'll do it for you? You know I'm not. You got to. You're not. Not you. Did you go pay the ransom for me?
Starting point is 00:33:13 How high is the rents? What's the number? I'm going to say, 50,000. 50? They won't 50. You might lose. Oh, 50?
Starting point is 00:33:18 You might lose a nub or something. I ain't got 50. Yeah. Try to talk them down a little bit. Right. They got it send me. They got to send me. We got a dick,
Starting point is 00:33:27 a deal. That thing ain't really worth. Yeah. That thing ain't really worth 50, my nigga. I'm a cheap of the buck. I got 27 and a half for you. Is it a hard 50 like non-negotiable? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:33:40 That's a good question. Can we do an installment place? How many kidnappers actually take the lower end? I heard a lot of them to be non-negotiable. Actually, because I don't want to, I want to be honest with you. I would pay it, but under one condition. I have a question first. Like, after the kidnapping, did you change?
Starting point is 00:34:04 My clothes? No. No. Personality. Did you learn anything? I'm going to come here like two pot. No. That's a shame,
Starting point is 00:34:15 Yo, that is such a shame I survived the kidnapping I'm too bad for the kids. And I woke with them knickers That's not changed I'm being scared All right If you change then you
Starting point is 00:34:26 So you're gonna pay the fit How long it'll take you Because you can't take three days What day did they call? They go You're Friday They call How did that cash app
Starting point is 00:34:35 Looking for the week I just I just my limit got right again Just the other days So we can't get to the bank Man you know I got to wait You know it's a holiday weekend
Starting point is 00:34:43 You might have the whole old. Yeah. Where do you gentlemen want to begin today? Well, just real quick. I mean, because I don't want to be, we shouted at everybody who's doing a thing. Ice, you also did a thing. That's true.
Starting point is 00:34:54 Wait, don't do that. Don't do that. You started with parks or me, part. We're going in order. Like, Ish, I've seen you too. You doing. Oh, God. The closet.
Starting point is 00:35:06 I don't even know what it's going on. You got the Wyatt. You got to see you two. When that's sold in colors, boy. I see you two. On my phone, you're doing your thing. What he did?
Starting point is 00:35:17 Help me up. Tell us. What this nigga did again, y'all? And I'm going to find it all. What happened? Show me. I said. What you did?
Starting point is 00:35:24 I see my man named in bold. What you did now, Ed? What you did? I have no idea what this nigga talking about. Oh, you do it. Pull it out. I'm saying. No, no.
Starting point is 00:35:32 Whoa. Whoa. Whoa. Yo. You put some, you're putting some heat out there on. You're doing what he's doing now. It's the algorithm. Yeah, that's it.
Starting point is 00:35:44 Fixing shit up, shapping it up in that algorithm. That's my boy, man. What you're doing? What you're doing? He's curating. Yeah, we've been doing some curation. We're not playing in the fourth quarter, man. She know that.

Starting point is 00:36:21 Damn. Like that? Nah. I wouldn't have come to work today. Why? I mean, it was pretty bad. Ended him. Damn.
Starting point is 00:36:26 Ended it? Right in his face. Wow. Nah, I knew because when I walked in, when I'm setting up, whatever, in my spot. And she goes, nah, I need him to stand right here. What you set up? Your iPad? Where they had me at, my guy.
Starting point is 00:36:41 I don't understand. I don't understand. Eliminating. stand. They're setting up the battle. Get your watches. Get your watches. Watch on the little stand by the phone and the sideways bowl of it.
Starting point is 00:36:55 This is the perfect. Let me talk to you real quick. Apple TV hooked up. It was good, though. But yeah, now when she was like, nah, I need him to stand here. I'm like, oh, yeah, okay. I know. I know what this is about to go.
Starting point is 00:37:10 But now she came out. She threw a couple bars at me. Little Iverson bar, what she gave it? Did she beat your brother? No. She got the first round. He got the second round. And I gave him the third.
Starting point is 00:37:22 A lot of people in the building gave him the third. Her people gave her the third. But it was a good battle. Good. Really good battle. Shout to it. I can't wait to see it. Where can I see it?
Starting point is 00:37:30 I mean, when it comes out. It comes out on the 17th, I believe, they said. Okay. J.R. birthday. That's the other thing, these fucking birthdays. My son, might be 21 tomorrow, nigga. Oh, yeah. My son's eight
Starting point is 00:37:45 Y'all got all your Christmas shopping done yet? No Can? No My wife is at that stage where She don't want to tell me what she wants She just want me to be Going to my observant
Starting point is 00:37:58 Observant bag of all the years I've been married So any age is a woman I don't know I'll like I tell you what I want This is what I want I'm not
Starting point is 00:38:07 You make a Christmas list too? Yeah Yeah How long is the list? How many years? Shit short? I'm the breadwinner. No, I'm not. I'm not playing.
Starting point is 00:38:16 I'll take that back. Write that down. I didn't mean to say that. She'll curse me out. But I'm saying, what I'm saying is that I ask her what she wants. She's not answering me. It's like, oh, give me anything. Like, I'm not, no, I'm not doing that.
Starting point is 00:38:29 I even send my kids to go ask her, but it's not working. Christmas. You all know what y'all getting your partner's for Christmas? Yeah. Now I do. I've been working on it. As you know, you got yours already? You got all these shit from where, like, like, France.

Starting point is 00:39:06 for him. She celebrates it. Oh shit. Just not you. Hold on. When he opened it, he goes, you're going to be in the corner just looking.
Starting point is 00:39:12 That's what I do with my kids. growing up. Oh, you got one of the park scams. Hold up. Wait, wait, so your wife celebrates it. Yeah. Is there a tree in your house?
Starting point is 00:39:23 Marcus Muslin. Yeah, don't celebrate it? Yes, yes, yes. So, yeah, so, you know, she does. Wait, you don't shoot at the tree. Like, you let it sit there holistically. Banging on your stuff. Right there in your spot?
Starting point is 00:39:36 I had to carry it up for a end. Oh, you got pork on you now. That's a problem. That shit was fucking me up. Yeah, that was the hardest part. That shit was stabbing the shit out of you. Yeah, it's heavy. And you cut you was down, right?

Starting point is 00:40:15 Oh, boy. Do you... You don't buy gifts neither? No, because that'd be like celebrating it. Celebrating? Yeah, I'm just saying. Do you contribute... Do you accept gifts?
Starting point is 00:40:23 No. Do you contribute to the gifts? I always tell people, please, you know, don't get me. Do you contribute to the Monsor? You know what I mean? Afterward, and I try to keep... And I try to keep that very different. So, like, very simple things.
Starting point is 00:40:34 Like, I got your books for Quanza. Like, I wouldn't buy y'all, like, leather coats because that would be, like, basically celebrating Christmas the next day. Oh. You know, because I try to keep the spirit of being, like... I didn't know there was, uh... This is my personal choice. Books are a good gift?
Starting point is 00:40:46 Yeah, I love it. I like to give thoughtful, small gifts for quite a great gift. Yeah. Thank you. So, you're going to get more books this year. You're going to add it to the list of shit y'allie. You're going to be. Yeah, we're good, gang.
Starting point is 00:40:55 We're good. Books. Pray for me. Pray for me. Pray for me and I'm not. Lucky for you. I love books more than that coach you're talking about. I'll bet.
Starting point is 00:41:08 We'll get you a bunch of books. Yeah. No, no, no, no. What's over to y'all? Oh, no, we got you then? We got you. I'm gonna get you, so if somebody gets you something, you're going to throw it away?
Starting point is 00:41:16 Because you'll celebrate it? No, I mean, I just, people who care about me enough to buy gifts know that I don't celebrate Christmas. But what if we don't care, though? I'm not even trying to be funny. Like, what if you just don't care? I'll take it.
Starting point is 00:41:28 I don't take it. I don't take it. Good. I wouldn't know. I don't think there's going to be a problem up here, but, like, I'd be fine. It's eight, it's eight.
Starting point is 00:41:34 It's eight. give me a gift for you thought I celebrated it. It's eight people. My man is slow. And Moan is nine, right? I'mani's 10. I don't know. Every time I go to-
Starting point is 00:41:45 Forget, Imani. You got a fucking prime. You're going to stop disrespect to my man. For real, yo. Enough. You're not doing that thing. So question. When you go to broke up.
Starting point is 00:41:56 10, Nick. When you go to employee here. I am slow. I'm just wondering. 10 goes into 20. How many? Two, nigga. Add tax.
Starting point is 00:42:09 Nick, I got you. It's about 2K each. Yeah. I've never been to Bergdorf where, like, can you do it at the restaurant where everyone? Yo, you take two on this car. I'm happy to paying my two.
Starting point is 00:42:27 I don't get you a gift, but it's not going to be that expensive as well. Kino. Yeah. Niggas got together, put their chip in for you again. You know, let's call you. Keno feeds us every week. He shouldn't have to get a gift.
Starting point is 00:42:36 Yeah, chill out. I'm not here, y'all. I'm not here, y'all. Don't talk about that. Oh, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. He feeds most of us. Strike one.
Starting point is 00:42:42 My bad, they told me not to mention it front. I apologize. Where do you amazing gentlemen want to start? Media? 90 minutes in. Yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:42:49 I'm cool. I like when the park go like that. Me too. Yeah, me too. I mean. Hold up now. Look, I said I'm off that shit, but you're getting a little hive, too.
Starting point is 00:42:58 You're getting the, I see it. I see the chirping. I see the chirping and I see the chirping and flip. I can't go over you a lot of Tuesdays, yeah. Don't be devices. I know, but I had to get my men and something. I see what they're doing out there for my men.
Starting point is 00:43:10 They're standing up for my boy. How much does it cost to get a bot for? Oh, shit. Unrelated question. Just kidding. You should know. You should know, you know, Chin? You should know.
Starting point is 00:43:19 You think Mark every board box? I would ask you about Flip, but I know Flipboard Box. But when? Wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. When? I don't know when. But I believe that sometime in your 10-year history.
Starting point is 00:43:32 In the beginning, like before, nigga, like, doing batter rap. I believe you know more about the bots. Yeah, but not now because YouTube. I'm not talking about now. I ain't trying to play with your fucking. Because YouTube did a big cleanse, nigger, four times in the past 10 years.
Starting point is 00:43:44 You just got wiped out. No, my shit still there. My shit still there. You think mortgage buying box? Like now? I don't know what this nigga doing, man. I just know that he's just tearing up to work to work, man. That's it.
Starting point is 00:43:55 I just come to work every day. I ain't on my name. I ain't on them. Tuesday, Friday. Yeah, me. You're going to do it me, double the work. You know what I mean? Double to work.
Starting point is 00:44:04 Yo, you really got him with that. Can you write you? Can you all leave me out of your personal? You started this. You got to each other. I got you. That don't work anymore. I pull up with my man to find out, you know what I'm saying?
Starting point is 00:44:15 It's a respecting. Those little tactics. Oh, so you son them. It don't work. No, no, I speak to my man. Yeah, yo, is this nigga? You got to understand. Is there any validity to what this man is saying?
Starting point is 00:44:26 No. I just realized there is no way for me to stay out of anything up here. I'm going to be in it even if I'm just sitting here. But you start this whole exchange with Flip got a hive. That's how this whole shit started. Flip, I mean, Flip, Mark, I talk to people up here in a protective manner for the most part. You, like, I'm aware of what could be unpleasant to hear, what is bothersome. He is too.
Starting point is 00:44:52 And that's what he wins. He uses it for evil. And then want to talk to him, I give out books, and Uncle Bobby bookstore, and I'm acting. You're evil. Fuck. Only up here. Only up there. Go up there and be evil too.
Starting point is 00:45:07 I'm not allowed up there. Oh, shit. So much joy I had. Well, not joy. I learned a valuable lesson trying to run ads on news channels. Oh, yeah. And went to my dad's house. The game was on.
Starting point is 00:45:23 I got a little text that the commercial was going to run on CNN in a second. I said, oh, the commercial's about to run. Dad loves CNN. He's like, oh, I'll turn from the game. I'm like, no, you know, I have to that. I promise you know. He's like, no, I want to see the commercial. Go to CNN.
Starting point is 00:45:36 Breaking news. Oh, yeah. Bad day. Bad day. Breaking news. Bad news weekend, really. Shooter on the loose. One gone.
Starting point is 00:45:47 Rest in peace. Yeah, yeah. Nine injured. Yeah, we could turn. Yeah, rest in peace. So the people at Brown and Australia, there was a shooting as well. We'll get to the robinier stuff later. Let's start with the.
Starting point is 00:45:59 media stuff though let's do it that's where we at yeah so on Friday we talked a little bit about hot what was happening over a hotdown Saturday we talked about Ebro in the morning show sort of not sort of ending we were speculating but we realized it has ended
Starting point is 00:46:14 they actually launched their new YouTube show Ebrore Rosenberg and Laura in the morning shout out to them shout out to them it's on YouTube I watched the first episode have you anyone gets chance to see it no I saw it did you get chance to see it Joe Today was the first episode.
Starting point is 00:46:30 Yeah, I thought it was fire. When did it drop? I watched it this morning because I was up. It was fired. I didn't see it this morning. It's really good. It's really good. It's really good.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Laura was traveling so she couldn't do the whole thing, but it was good. It had the same energy. I noticed they renamed it, which makes me feel like they're in a three-way split, maybe. I don't know about the business part of it, but the fact that they decided to stay together and be together as partners. See, I just always questioned your decision-making. It was that fork in the road right here. You had a chance. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:46:55 You had a chance to do it just now, but you did. dignified. I love them, man. Did you love the graphic package? What graphic package did you didn't see? I said I didn't see it this morning. Oh. He always leaves loophole.
Starting point is 00:47:12 He does, doesn't he? That's good. Did you like the graphic package that? And did you like the new name? We could tell you. Ebro, my man. I'm inviting him to my next birthday. I love Ebro.
Starting point is 00:47:21 That's my brother, man. I love Rosenberg. I talk to Rosenberg all the time. And Rooseveltburg's dad. I think there's some work to be done on the graphics. This doesn't work to be done on the production side of it. Because they've been doing mostly audio stuff, so the video stuff needs to
Starting point is 00:47:35 go a little bit. But I thought the combo is good and the energy is good. Before you get to that, I ain't going to let you keep steering us and they're on the right path. Oh, shit. Hey, before you get to that, I'm wondering how you feel about, again, I said the same thing about Max B. How do you feel about
Starting point is 00:47:52 people just taking a moment after after a moment to have a moment. I think it's different with them. Yeah. I don't think they can just take a moment. But tell me why.
Starting point is 00:48:07 Because of what you came off, you need to kind of like hit the ground running type of shit. Why? I think part of it is market share. I think if you're like, look, people see or hear us every morning and we want to the next day, we're going to still be here in the morning for you. I think there's a way that to build their audience, they want to just keep moving. I get your point of taking men to give people a chance to miss you. I don't think that's wrong.
Starting point is 00:48:28 I think build the anticipation. But I think with them as a morning show has been wrong. And you're saying give people a chance to miss you. My reason is way more detailed than just. Your reason is logistics and doing it right. Get it right. Yeah. It's more important to get it right than to do it fast.
Starting point is 00:48:45 I think a lot of shit. Because you show, even though I support podcasts, my bad, I support people starting shows and learning in real time and fixing in real time. That's one of my favorite things about this thing and the audience being able to watch that. But if you blessed with a golden window and perfect opportunity to just be able to take your time, make the calls in the background, get your ducks in a row. You patience to see how the new, what new way do you want to present, fix some of the old front facing things that people had a problem with? I didn't know so many people hated this crew, but a lot of people that had negative things to say about Ebro, Pete, not so much, Laura, but, you know, they've been on since 2009 and people know Ebro since
Starting point is 00:49:30 2001. You've never taken a break. You went from on air to program director to behind the scenes to then you had your own show. Then you got another show. You've always elevated. You got your apple shit.
Starting point is 00:49:48 There's never been a time where Ebro could just chill. I would take a month. I wouldn't have come back two days. Three days? No. No, no, no. And, but look, it might be another way to look like,
Starting point is 00:50:04 those are our fans there. They're looking for our show. So now this could be a way of saying we're here. I'm trying to keep as much of them as possible for even to set up my next play. You should. That's what I'm saying. And I understand that. And I'm not really criticizing.
Starting point is 00:50:20 I'm just opening the floor for discussion. I'm on the other side of. Also, what you do is you let the world happen. when you take a break. Yeah, but in letting the world happen, you can also lose, yo, people forget about you if you're going too long. Freeze.
Starting point is 00:50:36 Yes, that's true. But also, if you show that you were part of a big program and you got fired and then you come back and it looks like that, you're just adding on to the scrutiny that comes with it. You might be robbing yourself of the bigger bang. Yo, go sit up, eat some salad. Ebro got a beautiful family job.
Starting point is 00:50:55 Go sit up, go be family man. Let's see who the new replacement is. That might fire you up to be ready to go. Yo, like, he immediately jumped in his car. That's what they're killing him for when he jumped in his car. You've never seen him that way. What people mean when they say, I never saw you that way, we've never seen you so unsettled.
Starting point is 00:51:18 That's what they're saying. We've never seen you. We just know you as the boss. New York hip hop. Your role is too great. to go from that to now sitting in the car smoking
Starting point is 00:51:33 talking about Netting Yahoo that's what they mean silence silence silence actually I got a clip y'all talk
Starting point is 00:51:44 I got a clip on silence I think that oh I'm sorry I think that from the outside looking in we can have 2020 I think that it was an emotional thing for them
Starting point is 00:51:57 like yo dog I've been here for 30 joints. I've been here for 20-something years and I think it was just an emotional thing and I think they reacted in the moment and responded in the moment. So you can't tell nobody how to respond emotionally to some shit that might have affected them.
Starting point is 00:52:13 I think they was really affected. And from what Peter Rosenberg said, he said, yo they was like completely blindsided. They didn't have any inkling that it was coming. So if you didn't have... If he said if he said it is cap. He said... That's what he said. He got a phone call saying, yo, we got legal on the phone.
Starting point is 00:52:30 He said, yo, they hit him and was like, yeah, pay Pete. Y'all was turning on. Legal's here. Yeah, today will be your last day, Pete. You'll be a terminated. He didn't say nothing about nobody else. He was just like, yo, today is your last day. We're terminating you.
Starting point is 00:52:45 Like real, just curt, cut to the point. And he said he had no idea. Okay. I mean, but if I'm going by what he's saying. Because they started letting other people go already. So you should know that they were letting people go. That don't mean that you. But that don't mean you being that you are.
Starting point is 00:53:00 are a staple here at the program and you have been for 20-something years. And the ratings are strong. I can see how even with the writing on the wall, you miss it. You're not enough if you Ebro and Peter Roosevelt. You ain't looking around then. You're not looking at it like, yo.
Starting point is 00:53:13 That might be true. And that could be true. You ain't looking around. But again, pride and ego will have you not look around and think that it can happen to you. That's a real life thing. I tell people all the time, especially in this content game, the people that act like they didn't know,
Starting point is 00:53:26 oh shit, that's happening. I had no idea. Hey, what's the, look up. Look up. That's one of my favorite lines. I'm not, look up. I'm agreeing with you. The second that they were purchased before anybody got let go.
Starting point is 00:53:38 2019. The second that they were purchased, oh, the lights are flickering. There's no telling what this new staff is coming in here to say. I learned that at Def Jam when I went from Leor and Kevin and people that love me to people that don't. No telling what these new folks feel. You don't know what the objective. How much they spend it? How much they want you to get paid?
Starting point is 00:53:59 Lights flickering in. cool you missed that one T.T. Torres Oh shit. Y'all got Okay. You missed that one. Another big one left.
Starting point is 00:54:11 This is all before. Not even that, Joe. They didn't renew the building lease. Niggas when they got rid of the building. That should have told you something when they downsize and use a smaller spot. That should have said that. Oh, yeah, that's the other part.
Starting point is 00:54:22 That's like me on my complex rant saying, hey, they won't let me smoke in the bathroom. Yes, I'm not supposed to smoke in the bathroom. But it's a sign when they're, won't let you smoke in the bathroom. Y'all can't go record at the new spot. Ain't no new spot. Y'all ain't with the roaches and the rats.
Starting point is 00:54:38 And it's the first time we're hearing this? No. You missed some signs. And it's okay to say that. There are company people out there. And now I'm just opening it up more. There are people out there that when you're on company time, you can get comfortable.
Starting point is 00:54:55 You can get complacent. You could think you could go in that back room and people could be telling you everything that you fucking. one of here. That's what I said. I think you're saying the same thing. I'm not really against what you're saying. No, what I'm saying is it's like the athlete.
Starting point is 00:55:07 It's like the receiver. It's like you were a star and you still think you are a star. And these owners are looking at you like, yo, my nigga, you went from average in 30 to 19. We can go find 19 points a game at a way steeper pay cut than what you are now getting. You might not think that because you're like, no, I put this franchise on my back and I built this shit. And they're looking at you like, yeah, and we paid you. And that was yesterday year. So I think that, and again, y'all keeps saying, everybody keeps saying that their ratings was up.
Starting point is 00:55:36 So if the ratings are up, you're looking at it like what reasoning would they have to let us go if we are performing at a high level and we put this building on our backs? Well, that's the thing. Ratings are important and numbers are important. I'm a wacko and there are wackos out there. So sometimes you just change shit up because creatively it's not a go. Sometimes you have the foresight to see, hey, the landscape is changing. changing or the future's changing. We're seeing things to where we can't go off the numbers.
Starting point is 00:56:05 It's better for us to fix it while these numbers are going good and get ahead of it versus Rebuild and want to hit the Bible. Versus, yeah, being so reactionary about it. And I understand both sides. I understand both sides. For sure. It's an organization feels like the numbers up because we are us. So they feel like they can replace the morning show and still keep those numbers up and maybe at a cheaper price,
Starting point is 00:56:24 which is another thing they didn't think about because they don't care about the culture. A lot of times they just want to make money. It's analytical. And that was the thing with that's what we're. I was saying earlier. With the company at that board. I don't think that it's more about culture. It's more about structure in the business.
Starting point is 00:56:38 It's about profitability. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's not about that. What can we cut to make more money? I don't care about the culture. And y'all keep wanting everybody to come care about culture. Why wouldn't we? Like, let's start having some uncomfortable conversations
Starting point is 00:56:52 because if we don't, then nothing will ever change. That's right. Culture is cool, but it's free to say it. True. That's true. Like he got in his car to talk about this gentleman and where he stands in New York City and the casino and what his real sights is set on. And whether you take him at his word or not, I know how much it costs to have these satellites and the air rights. This business attached.
Starting point is 00:57:24 In New York City. Yeah. This business. Fuck the hip hop, huh? The people that you're talking to to buy these things, they don't care. It shouldn't keep being a surprise. It's a blessing when you bump into somebody who's in that position and loves hip hop.
Starting point is 00:57:42 Yeah. Yeah, it's rare. So when I first walked in, we flip off mic, start asking me, like, yo, what do you think these business owners biggest priority is? And I said, money. Profitability. Like, yo, I said, even the sports owners out here that don't give a fuck if the team does well. Yeah. They look at it like a gas station or like a clothing line or any other shit.
Starting point is 00:58:04 They want the profit and maximum profit from these businesses. They don't necessarily give a fuck if we win the Super Bowl or the Stanley Cup or anything else. Now, if you get an owner, i.e., we give Jerry Jones shit all the time. Jerry Jones loves football. He wants to win. He wants to be competitive. It's a lot of these owners that could give two fucks if we losing or winning as long as that number at the bottom of the page is big. No, Roe.
Starting point is 00:58:29 We do that. And then we complain about our culture being watered down. I agree with you. I'm just saying. We're going to complain about the culture being watered down. It's not the same. We let people come in. So what side do you stand when you see this?
Starting point is 00:58:39 I don't stand on either side. I just understand and see what is going on. So if we don't own shit, we can't necessarily dictate how somebody does what they do with some shit that they own. Yeah. Yeah. We keep selling. We run the culture out. True.
Starting point is 00:58:56 And please don't get me fucked up. There are companies out there that care very. much about culture, but that is a blessing. That's, yes. It's not a, it's not a deep fault. It's icing on the cake. Yeah. And I don't think the companies hide it.
Starting point is 00:59:11 No, they do. They don't. I can tell you who feels how about black people. I could tell it to you. Some of them, big dogs. Thanks. Salute. That's a salute.
Starting point is 00:59:22 The others, I act like they don't even exist in my world. And, you know, I don't want to make it sound like I don't have a, for the creators out there for Ebro for anybody that needs to hear it while this may sound bad the shit we were saying about we the home country and all that there's nothing but greatness to come from this
Starting point is 00:59:42 if that's what you want right we do our greatest shit when we learn when they slam the door in your face or when they fire you or when you thought that that payday was coming and it didn't come or when you stand in somewhere and you've been
Starting point is 00:59:57 killing shit for years and they say nigga, get the fuck out of our face. You're not invited to the secret special club that we got back there. That's when you go in your room, the greatest things are made in the tiniest rooms. Full circle. That might be why they hit the ground running
Starting point is 01:00:12 on Monday morning because they might have been having some conversations and said, yo, we can still do this shit. This might be a blessing in disguise. We don't want to take any time off to get a little cool. Let's jump right back in the horse in the race on Monday morning.
Starting point is 01:00:25 Hey, when it's your life, there's no right or wrong answer. There's no right or wrong answer. I'm saying my professional opinion is he could have did both. You could have took this time to go sit in your room, think some more. If you think you finished, do it again. When you think you're done, think some more. And then come back and not miss a beat. That's just my opinion.
Starting point is 01:00:45 Could have? But who knows? And when you get fired, and this is the last thing I'll say, just when you get fired, sometimes that calculation that would normally be there wouldn't be. Like, he may have the advice you're giving him, he would probably give somebody else. Yeah. But emotionally. But emotionally sometimes when you get fired, I know.
Starting point is 01:00:59 For me, a lot of time you want to show the world that you still matter outside of that company. And you want to show yourself. Nah, but there's a way to move to teach you. Drake posted the fucking axe. I'm saying bad choice. And got you niggas in a duffel and got you niggins and that's, come on. But that's what I'm saying. You want to show the world that you're not.
Starting point is 01:01:17 You hear the people talk. Hey, some of those are, some of them are important people. You've made friends over the years. You've made niggas that hate you over the years. When you're on the downside, now's the time for the hate you people. to be loud. Drake is posting the X. He don't fuck with you.
Starting point is 01:01:33 Sorry. I tried to tell you, niggas, that when I came to Hot 97, and y'all was all super, super friendly with Drake, and I'm like, hey, there's another side. You'll learn. You learned. X time.
Starting point is 01:01:47 Now you're on your show leaking the messages. This was on the show you didn't see. That morning, Mark. Usher, I forgot the loop. That morning. Can we talk about that a little bit, the leak of the messages? in the X?
Starting point is 01:02:00 Because I actually... Ebro. Ebro. Leaked the message. Ebro. Ebro. Leaked the message. That whole exchange was entertaining to me.
Starting point is 01:02:09 I don't know. This is all new to me. So, first, the axe. Petty? Yes. Yes. Drake is Petty. On brand.
Starting point is 01:02:19 No surprise. Yeah, I don't see nothing wrong with that. Really? No. I don't either. To me, that's the equivalent of another one bites the dust. Yeah. Or you...
Starting point is 01:02:27 I chuckle. Or you wanted to... You were one of the leading catalyst in this Kendrick Lamar thing. When Kendrick was putting his foot in my ass, you were as loud as day on every single platform. When not like us came out, Ebro is the main person saying, oh, it's over.
Starting point is 01:02:43 He can do nothing to come back. He said that shit immediately. Hold up, man. I'm interrupting for something that's not important. Yo, can you hear me? Yeah, we're going to be good. All right. We're not good.
Starting point is 01:02:54 We're not good. How you doing? How are you, man? Good, John. How are you, man? I'm good. I'm good. I had a little health scare recently, but I'm okay. Are you still in the hospital, Joe?
Starting point is 01:03:09 No, no, no, I'm not. I'm not. I'm fine. I'm fine. But what might you be calling about, my brother? You're not on the air, are you right now by the two? I mean, I do record on Tuesdays, man. Oh, you do? Okay, okay. Well, listen, I just want to make sure I don't want to say anything crazy to you or about you. By any chance, is your fantasy staff there, Joe?
Starting point is 01:03:33 He called them to the 27 people that you brings to the, for the draft. Are they there? They are. They are. Hey, guys. What's up, Carl? You're there, ice? Yes, yes.
Starting point is 01:03:45 I'm not part of the staff. Y'all all in there? All you all in there, right? Listen, my brother, all you got to do is send me your wire information. No, no, no, no, no. No, the Joe, Joe, first of all, I got it. I got to walk you through this before we just, it ain't that simple. I'm not worried about no fucking money.
Starting point is 01:04:01 I'm not worried about that. This is what I didn't like, Joe. It was a lot of patty, patty and talking behind my back. And it got back to me, Joe. And it was just like, did you see Kaiser put the wrong wire receiver and he fucked up? This is easy money, blah, blah, blah, blah. like I don't you do
Starting point is 01:04:27 a lot of talking Joe and I didn't appreciate that Joe because I was very quiet on the chat I didn't go and nothing disrespectful
Starting point is 01:04:36 it's true I was like let's do this like gentlemen I you bitched up on the first bet that I wanted to make
Starting point is 01:04:44 for the 10K you cut that in half but I said okay they didn't mention that to anybody that was me and you talking you know what I mean
Starting point is 01:04:51 and Joe Joe out of respect. Give me a call, Joe. Hey, hey, way to go, Kahn. I can't get that joke.
Starting point is 01:05:06 Hey, Kyle, you're absolutely right. The better team won. Yes, yes, it did. The better team won. Congratulations. This team was hard. Yes. No, listen, I was in the middle
Starting point is 01:05:18 of very important Ebro Hot 97 talk, but let me, this is, I'll tell you when I knew it was, bad. Because I didn't open the app. Every highlight that I saw for the day was one of your players. Trayvon and Trayvion Anderson goes off again.
Starting point is 01:05:37 Oh my God. Nico Collins gets us a takes it for 60. Matt Stafford doing Matt Stafford. Rico Dowell to all these fucking, oh my God. Hey, know what my team did? That fucking absolutely nothing. This guy put 160 on my head with a. slot missing.
Starting point is 01:05:56 Romeo Dunez was pulled as an inactive one minute before the game. He put 160 on me with a slot missing. With a slot missing. Yeah. There you go. That's the joy. That's all I want to hear.
Starting point is 01:06:09 Now, should I send you my wire information? Yes, please. Yeah, and I got to get back to work so I can afford to pay. There you go. Hey, guys. Love you guys. Oh, please go.
Starting point is 01:06:20 See you in August, bitch. Sorry about that. I ducked him. It's the man thing to do. It's the man thing to do. Let him get his shit off. Back to Ebro. So we had the axe situation.
Starting point is 01:06:38 Then we had on it. Hold on. Hish was asking what the axe was. No. An emoji. We started talking about if we thought it was petty. And do I think it's petty? I do think it's petty.
Starting point is 01:06:48 But I also think it's fitting. And Ebro is my man. I love Ebro. I'm just saying. But you were one of the main mom. fuckers rooting and cheering when I was getting my head crack. So now I'm a root and cheer when you get your head crack or seemingly get your head crack because we don't know.
Starting point is 01:07:03 Ebro can come out on top of this whole entire situation, God willing. But if I'm Drake, you fucking ain't right. I'm going to do the same exact thing. I think it's different, but it's all fair game. It's all fair game. But, you know. How do you feel? I feel like saying like if you, I said, I think it's different.
Starting point is 01:07:20 I don't think they're the same thing. I'm disagreeing with y'all. No, I'm listening. Oh yeah. Oh, yeah. Like, it's like if you say I lost a rap battle, my job is to assess your rap battle. That's different than me, you getting fired from a job and me putting an accent. You did more than said I lost the rap battle.
Starting point is 01:07:36 No, but it's all about the rap battle. Yeah, but you're minimizing it by just saying, you said I lost the rap battle. It's a little different. Like, if I'm in a battle and you're on the sidelines with your, damn it with your pom-poms, like you cheerleading rooting for me to lose. I get what market's saying. It ain't the same thing. I don't know if I agree, but I understand what he's saying.
Starting point is 01:07:57 How do you understand that? When I came in here and said that we talked about this nigger, and they were calling him all type of pedophiles and all that other shit, it wasn't a rap battle. No, I'm saying in life. It wasn't a rap battle then. That nigger looked at that shit personally. He didn't look at it like a rap battle.
Starting point is 01:08:14 So if somebody called him a pedophile, then I think when they get fired from their job, put the axe up. Fuck a axe. Yeah, whatever. But I'm saying for this. is saying that is somebody losing their job during the holidays. Shit ain't funny, bro. It ain't funny. I ain't finished my point. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:08:32 My point was he looked at this thing like it was a personal thing. Y'all looked at it like it was a rap battle. He was looking at it like it was a personal thing and I'm fighting out here for my life, my name, my character, my likeness, et cetera, et cetera. So anybody that lend it to that it's up for them. I get it. I don't have a take because I know that I love Ebro more than more. We love Ebo. And that's what I was about, I'm saying, again.
Starting point is 01:08:56 I'm not. I juggled, but, I mean, I can't feel like that. I mean, I'm petty. And I say shit after people die. So I'm not, these are all arbitrary rules. I'm just, but for me, there's, there's limits. Like, there's just limits to me. I mean, y'all, he put, oh, he put on a emoji.
Starting point is 01:09:13 He didn't go on a rent or nothing. I'm not, I'm not outraged by it. That's my whole thing. Like, he just kept to the moji. Well, no, well, he also said, I'm talking about that. I was, that. I was having to do. That was.
Starting point is 01:09:22 He took it a step further. Listen, listen. Listen. So then on the Ebro show, the Ebro, excuse me, the Ebro Rosenberg and Style show, they talked about that, right? The axe. And then Ebro showed that Drake had texted. And I imagine him and Drake having texted in a long time. The last text I see was from September 2020. And then yesterday.
Starting point is 01:09:47 Yesterday, but in 2020, by the way, it was nice text. Make sure you get some sleep. Make sure your rest is good for you. So they clearly. a good relationship in 2020. The next text is yesterday where it comes from Drake and he just says, die slower pussy. Then the next text
Starting point is 01:10:00 says, we got some shit for you. That's it. And Ebro responded, relax. You're salty about losing to Kendrick. You're not at me. You're not mad at me. Love, bro. So he took the high road. Rosenberg
Starting point is 01:10:14 when he discussed it was not as generous, I think. But I think Rosenberg was right. And he tweeted back, It's behavior like this that made it impossible for people to defend the whack shit that he does. He said, but happy Hanukkah, my one-time pal. I truly wish you well, even if you're celebrating what you believe is our demise. Spoiler alert, we're about to be much bigger now that we won't be held back by our company
Starting point is 01:10:37 that is and has been completely lost ever since they bought the station. And that's my point about silence. That's my point. Once you have to start telling people what your plans are, especially people that's saying, die slow, loser. You've lost the plan. Let the actions do the talking. And that's it.
Starting point is 01:11:00 But I think you can still do that right away. Like if you, especially, like, if you were paying attention and the right one was on the wall and you might have had some things, all right, yo, we free now. We can go do what we talked about. Something like that. You don't have to, I get your point. Take your Ws.
Starting point is 01:11:18 Take your L's. Nigel. When I slept walking around, they wasn't saying, kind stuff. Guess what? I wasn't looking for him to neither. Nor did I come out and say, Hey, oh, no, this is what happened.
Starting point is 01:11:27 Nah, nigger. Get your shit off. Now I got to show you why I'm cut different. I can't tell you. Everybody could tell you. Go ahead, Mark. I don't care.
Starting point is 01:11:40 I'm in my rant bag. Fucking, everybody could tell you. Talking is easy and cheat. It don't cost nothing to do. And hold up, because I'm not done. And, and also. Also, this is why I champion independence. Of course you do.
Starting point is 01:11:56 Niga, you're going to send me an emoji when either I tap out of the life game or when I decide to pivot and go another way. It ain't going to be he was fired while he was performing. Damn during the holidays. Oh, they took it away from him unbeknown. Oh, his political views got him. never will there be a day where somebody can say that to say that's happened too many times
Starting point is 01:12:24 that's why I say it's different and that's why I say it's different it's happened too many mouth bro you handle it how you handle it because you have taken L's, you've taken L's over this 20 year period you've taken a bunch of them I don't know I'm not trying to be
Starting point is 01:12:40 bro they build resilience is a lot they build armor they build thick skin and so for niggas that have not taken L's they are acting irrationally and emotionally to some people's point because it's new here. They're new here. Drake never got his ass whip in front of zillions of people.
Starting point is 01:12:57 It's new here. The niggas gonna be emotional. Again, I love Ebro. Ebro was the man of New York City radio for the last fucking three decades. This is new territory for him. So you telling him how to respond based on experiences that you have had in taking L's.
Starting point is 01:13:14 In the great words of some little white girl that I saw on TikTok. and L is a W that stopped trying Okay Okay, little white girl That's your job
Starting point is 01:13:30 That's not fire That's not fire That made as much sense As that bar against ICE At the arson battle What are you talking about I like that L What was the bar against ICE
Starting point is 01:13:40 It was I was all joking But like I thought it didn't make I don't think it made any sense I won't repeat it Because it's too complicated But it didn't make no sense It was just a You don't think that that bar makes sense
Starting point is 01:13:51 The L is a W to stop trying? Yes, you do. You got Ph.D. I'm trying. Yeah. I get it. You like it? Caca.
Starting point is 01:14:02 It makes sense, though. It makes all sense in the world. You like it flip. You heard about it's how I like it. No one there would have been a dope. From a young one of young. I understand. If you all want the way girls.
Starting point is 01:14:12 If it was a V, if it was a V, it would have been dope. Yeah, V I would have been fired. That shit would have been pro. It would have been. the postcard if it was a V. Yeah. A V? You can say W that stop trying.
Starting point is 01:14:25 It's not like you stopped trying, young lady. Okay, so y'all missed what she said then. I understand the premise. No, you two old niggins. If y'all talking about the shapes of the letters. Yeah, I might be missing it. Tell me. Break it to me.
Starting point is 01:14:35 You know, stop it, Mark. What? Sometimes I don't understand shit. Tell me. You just said if I was... She's just saying every winner has failed a bunch. Of course. I get the message.
Starting point is 01:14:44 I'm saying the L... It wasn't a letter thing. She's 12. She's not... Never mind. It wasn't, I wasn't, it wasn't, it wasn't, you get knocked down eight times. Not your hardest work, ever.
Starting point is 01:14:55 Never. No, no, look, look, look, Minister Fargoff. Oh, my God. All right, fine. Anyway, I won't be bringing y'all to TikTok goodies anymore. We don't. No.
Starting point is 01:15:07 Anyway. So, it's time to play some music that I don't want to play. But it has to get played. Oh. On Friday, we mentioned that Ebro in the morning had gone. the way of many other shows. But what we neglected to mention
Starting point is 01:15:23 was that earlier that day, two other giants, and I mean giants, legends, two of my favorites of all time also lost their shows. You're right, but don't gas it up too much in the front
Starting point is 01:15:34 because we're going to keep this short and pay the bills. That's fair. That's fair. If you do what you're about to do, and then I come in, it's going to be mad. It's going to be.
Starting point is 01:15:45 In 1958, he paid for it. for kids to have shoes. There are bills to pay. I love them like that. All right, you're right. No, no, no, no, no, no. I'm giving it up.
Starting point is 01:16:01 I'm giving it up. Radio Legends and Lover and Ms. Jones separately were relieved of their duties on the block. I forget the station I. 94-7. 94-7, yeah. On Friday. It didn't have the big press release,
Starting point is 01:16:17 but. It's a sad day for radio. You spend it up. What's the fuck? Get out. Get out. Get out. It's my fire instant.
Starting point is 01:16:33 No, stop, stop, stop, stop. The OGs, the OGs, man. Ed Love, I love you. Miss Jones, I love you. We do this up here, so I got to do it for you. I didn't want to do it. I don't know if my hip-hop card never be the same.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Yeah. But we'll scuffle it. It's all right. Damn. Damn. It's sad. What do you think? What's going to happen next for them?
Starting point is 01:17:10 God don't play about you. Maybe they can join the... God don't play about you. Hey, you're going to say that. God don't play about me. Why? Let me guess. All those niggas commented on your sleepwalk and shit last year around this time.
Starting point is 01:17:19 So God don't know who commented on what. I snub the shit out of you, nigga. I don't know. I have no idea. Who the fuck do you think you are, I have no. I don't know what you're talking about. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:17:27 You're last standing, nigga, ooh-rah. No, not yet. Not yet. No, no, no, no. No, no, no, not yet. Raise my hand at the appropriate time. Not yet. It's coming.
Starting point is 01:17:41 We got a few more months. Job not finished. Job not finished. Oh, y'all think they're done? No. No. You can't think they've done. No.
Starting point is 01:17:50 Oh, Lord. It was a sad day. Indeed. Sad a couple weeks, really. Y'all ain't right. I thought Mark was saying something black was saying something black and important. Shout to Ms. Jones, I love you.
Starting point is 01:18:13 Yeah. Shout to Ed. We love you. You know, everybody, man. Ebro, we love you too, man. I just think. And I think it. This thing is funny.
Starting point is 01:18:20 You played it for. You know what I think. You played it for the block and I. You know, no, I think them niggas is, no, they played. No, we, we, you weren't here. Oh. I'm about to get them
Starting point is 01:18:30 Main pie Say they could try I'm about to get you What's you saying Is before I pay the bills What you're saying? I think these companies Are you showing motherfuckers
Starting point is 01:18:38 We really could care less about you Everybody's expendable We could care less about you Niggas because it's tacked And how you do some of this shit And to let these people go Two weeks that worked for this organization For the last 30 years
Starting point is 01:18:48 Even if you bought it in 2019 They still have been a staple for you For the last six years To let these people go Two weeks before Christmas It's a testament And again without being a statement without being a statement
Starting point is 01:19:00 and that shit is crazy. That's the thing that they didn't do in business I guess No, they don't have to do that bro. They could have let these people go right after the new year. A lot of companies do that though. They let you go before Christmas. There's a lot of complaints that are,
Starting point is 01:19:11 niggas that don't give a fuck. I just want to let you all know I did like 100,000 hours on closing topic. Like I went to school to learn it. Like there is up. Like all right, you don't have to fight. No, no.
Starting point is 01:19:25 Hey, what time is it? Debate them right now. Get them. Right now. Yeah, again. What time is it? Tom is, you bird-ass niggins.
Starting point is 01:19:32 But that's what makes this show. This show is the best show in the world. We know you got to pay the bill. Pay the bill. Yeah, if it was predictable, it wouldn't be the best show in the world. Hey, yo, pay attention you, y'all. That's how you pay the bills.
Starting point is 01:19:40 That's how you say, yeah, get it. No, they don't see how to pay the bills. Look, you know. Look at you. Oh, listen, it's time for my favorite part of the show. Prize Picks! All right, this episode is brought to you by prize picks. Whether you're starting a new route,
Starting point is 01:19:57 or making player picks for the very first time, trying something new can indeed be hard. But in life and on prize picks, it always feels good to be right. With high pressure play-up matchups every weekend and elite hoops action almost every night, the action never stops, and prize picks lets you take control. Really easy and simple to play. All you have to do is select two or more players. Look at their projected stat line and pick more or less. for your chance to win big.
Starting point is 01:20:30 Also, prize picks now has early payouts. If your player gets off to a hot start, you now have the option to cash out those winnings before the game even finishes. Prize picks is also now available in all 50 states, including California, Texas, Florida, and Georgia. And now's a good time to say goodbye to my fantasy season, man. Wow, it's over?
Starting point is 01:20:54 It's over. Damn, sorry to hear that. Fantasy season is over. Justin Jefferson, I got to tell you, you're a great man. I'm a huge fan of who you are as a football player and a person, and I know it's not your fault. And you look beautiful out there with the double chains, them two chains. You look like, you look great out there. I know it's not your fault.
Starting point is 01:21:18 But this is where we come to the end of the road. You'll never see my fantasy team again. because I just don't have faith in that boy. You're throwing it everywhere but your way, and I'm sorry. Everybody got a touchdown, but him. Justin Jefferson dropped mad passes the other night. The 52nd ranked receiver is just a mess. It's a mess.
Starting point is 01:21:38 Justin Jefferson, I love you, but it's time. Also, Danny Dimes, who knew your injury would affect my Jonathan Taylor. Jonathan Taylor, you carried me. You carried me to the playoffs, my brother. I can't be mad at you. But that injury. That injury brought you back down to mere mortal status. And it didn't work out for me, man.
Starting point is 01:21:57 So I'll see you to all people who lost their fantasy matchups. We'll get it right and be ready for the draft next year. Indeed. With that said, the Joe and Ish Picks of the Week, we are going with Josh Allen for more than 212.12 and a half. Okay. Passing yards. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:22:18 Lamar Jackson for more than 29 rushing yards. Shador Sanders for more than 11.5 rushing yards. Shador Sanders for more than 176 passing yards and DAC for more than 22 completions. Also, don't forget if you download the app right this very second and use promo code, J.BP. You get $50 instantly when you play your first $5
Starting point is 01:22:44 lineup only on prize picks, where it's good to be right. Quick sports question for y'all before I get into this Jake Paul, Anthony Josh, we'll fight this weekend. Should Jackson DART retire? Look at you. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:23:02 Look at you. She was on the other foot. Go ahead. It wasn't. Go ahead. It's not, but he said, let him get in this, man. He's been evaluated for five concussions in the 10 games that he's played. He's gone out, missed two games with concussions.
Starting point is 01:23:15 Should he retire? I know. He's six, five, two-thirty, and built like an ox. He's 21 years old. I owe this guy. He's 21. They need to do a better job protecting him. He needs to do a better job protecting him.
Starting point is 01:23:31 And I think he'll learn that. But touche. Too She was a good one. But two I had problems before he got to the league, no? He is it. That's one. Which is now, that's really been the bigger story, I think, because he can't move out there.
Starting point is 01:23:42 Like, he can't throw with any torque because he fucked up his hip last year. I think it's over. So you're right in that one. I'd appreciate a congratulations. Congratulations. There we go. Thank you.
Starting point is 01:23:50 Thank you. My question for you guys. Last night. was the Knicks versus Spurs in-season tournament championship game. A lot of people had the
Starting point is 01:24:08 thunder just cakewalking their way there when Binyana had other plans. And the Knicks have looked great this entire run. While I don't know who won the game because it hasn't happened yet, if the Knicks win, which they're favorite to, Would you put up the banner?
Starting point is 01:24:28 Oh, the title banner for the tournament? For the tournament. Yeah, you got to put it up. Yes. Yeah. I will say the Lakers have put theirs up and the Bucks have put theirs up. They also have won recent championships. Still putting it up.
Starting point is 01:24:42 My question is, do you put up division championships? If the answer is yes, then this is as good as that. You know, if you only put up championships and I say no. But most teams will put up Atlantic Division Championship. For sure. that up, then this cup counts. I think that's worth it. Good point.
Starting point is 01:24:57 And I think that's a great point. I think the NBA will make them put it up. Another good point. They may not have the option too nice. Just as a Knicks fan, I could just see it. Yeah. I'm just getting ahead of it. I see it coming.
Starting point is 01:25:08 I see it coming already. If they have a trophy for it, yeah. Yeah, it's a win. I don't give a buck. They put that way out to get a little something. Yeah, the last championship was 73. I thought.
Starting point is 01:25:19 The Dallas Cowboys won the the Mickey Mouse Invitational. You better. get that shit off until we get another fuck out of here. Yeah. Fair.
Starting point is 01:25:27 I put my fucking Spades Tournament trophy up and the one I made for myself after I came from Mark's house. I was like
Starting point is 01:25:34 what that trophy looked like? What that trophy was on a napkin? A sticky note on my fridge. Oh, man. Okay, big fight.
Starting point is 01:25:45 Big fight this Friday on Netflix. Long awaited of what was originally Jervante. Davis versus Jake Paul morphed into Anthony Joshua
Starting point is 01:25:57 versus Jake Paul and this Friday is the day these two gentlemen will fight. I have the unpopular opinion that Jake Paul comes out victorious in this I think he beats Homeboy up a little bit.
Starting point is 01:26:13 Maybe he'll get beat up, but there'll be in exchange. But I don't think Anthony Joshua, whose homeboy that dead game? Anthony Joshua's last three fights. Here we go. December 23, win by TKO round 5, mid-fight stoppage against Swedish
Starting point is 01:26:29 heavy weight. That's 2023, dog. Head to 2026. Don't yester you hear me to death. Tidey him about old dudes and their old war stories and their old fights. Francis 2024, win by K.O. Round 2. Got him. Awesome. That was when the chatter was high.
Starting point is 01:26:45 That was when, hey, hey, that's like when y'all bigged up Deonté Wilder when he was coming out in the Black Panther outfit and then we saw how that happened after that. Listen, I'm with my black card wherever it's good. I think it took the black panther juice away from. Yeah, and that's what I'm saying. This has the potential for some of that.
Starting point is 01:27:05 So what's the up, Anthony? What's the name, Anthony that beat home boy up? The short, the short Latin dudes. Come on, man, with this. I don't want to, don't Anthony Joshua me to death because we all are supposed to hate Jake Paul collectively. That's all I'm saying. It's like a good enough reason to me.
Starting point is 01:27:22 Why? Just because we die. I ain't with think tank. I know you in the media. I ain't with people. Hey, we all gonna go jump off the bridge. Want to come? No.
Starting point is 01:27:30 No. I don't see it like that. Anthony Joshua is here for a reason. We got to see. I got to see it. He's here for a reason. I got to see it. A lot of reason.
Starting point is 01:27:38 He ain't the fastest, but. That's what I'm saying. Yo, if anybody knows how I feel to get old. How old is this guy? I do. I do. I do. Your dog.
Starting point is 01:27:48 Oh, 36. 36 is the beginning. That's that. Until he laid that hand on. To eat George Form of you. No, not. Pardon me, but not. 74 years old giving people.
Starting point is 01:27:57 But not in boxing. In life. 36 is when I had to stop drinking all the drinks I liked. 36. What no more milk and milkshakes. B.G. All day. No more Simplies?
Starting point is 01:28:10 The Simply lemonade had to go. Pepsi all day. No, you have to start making life change into 36. This is a life change for Anthony Joshua. Oh, good show. He's going to start fighting people he can beat. It's a great life change I'm from Missouri
Starting point is 01:28:27 He's gonna have to show me But I hate it You hate it? I love the I'm gonna watch the fight I'm excited to watch the fight I just hate Jake Paul Well this will be this would be the most viewed fight Because of streaming and
Starting point is 01:28:40 Yeah for sure So we know that people are gonna watch this fight You said you hate Jake Paul? Yeah be careful That's his people's now Jake Paul's cool Jay Paul, you're people I thought it's his brother
Starting point is 01:28:50 Well, that's what he's Parks is saying I'm in Nepal. Yeah, he's in the Paul. I'm in the Paul. He's a Paul now. I'm a Paul. I'm a Paul. Me and Michael Paul.
Starting point is 01:28:59 Joe Paul. There you go. Oh, man. So listen, this is a, this is a very anticipated fight. And there's a lot of talk around the fight because this is not an exhibition. This is not an exhibition. We're used to Jake Paul doing exhibitions. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:29:16 This one is for the book. So we don't know. how it's going to play out. All of the, is Jake Paul a real fighter? We don't do that up here. We acknowledge that Jake Paul. Yeah, no, he's real. He takes it serious.
Starting point is 01:29:29 He's real. He takes it very serious. But there was all to talk about, you don't know about the verdicts of these fights. True. That's true. Because Jake Paul is worth so much money to exhibition sports. That's sure. And if I were worth that much, I probably also would put something in the contract to say,
Starting point is 01:29:45 don't touch my face. Anthony Joshua is 6 foot 6, 2.40,000. and he's not for PlayPlay. He is a real established championship level fighting fighter. This is not Jake Paul's other opponents where we weren't sure.
Starting point is 01:30:02 Retired football. This guy who was just put there for Jake Paul to beat up on or just somebody whose hands are not there. This is a whole new ballgame. Jake's only 6'1, so that's a big size difference. That's what I'm saying. He's giving up a lot of size
Starting point is 01:30:18 and he's used to fight in tomato cans. You know what I'm saying? I won't even call him tomato cans. I would just think that he was well more equipped than all other people. Because some of them might have been just retired athletes, but this dude is a boxer. He's a trained boxer.
Starting point is 01:30:32 Anthony Joshua was a different animal. Who's currently in shape. Yes. Yes. Hasn't missed the beat. I've been watching them. Just for it last year. Call it that.
Starting point is 01:30:43 And that's the thing. Anthony Joshua's last fight. A lot of the chatter around him was you're done. Hang up your hat. You're done. Stoppage in the fifth round. We don't just leave gracefully. We don't want to kill you
Starting point is 01:30:58 but it didn't look the greatest. Yeah, but like seven, what, seven, eight months right before that he had another fight. He knocked him out in the second round. Only as good as your last bout. I get it, but I'm just saying, not enough to say hang it up. I can see if I'm getting mopped up two, three, four fights in a row. He wasn't
Starting point is 01:31:14 being revered like he once was. You know what I mean? For the last couple years, He wasn't. Yeah, they were looking forward to him to fighting Wilder. Yeah. That was the whole buildup to everything. That didn't happen. If Anthony Joshua wins this fight, do you think this does anything to change that reputation
Starting point is 01:31:30 or some of the bad talk that was around his last fight? No, right? Because Jake Paul is the boxing equivalent of a boy band. He's put together, manufactured, not that interest in me. No, he's not. Hold up. I hate all of them. Flip it.
Starting point is 01:31:43 Jack Paul, Logan Paul, Chris Paul, fucking Anthony Joshua in three. Joe Paul. Right, exactly. Paul McCarney. No, no, no. What Jake Paul has done is that he has started off streaming with his brother. And he has, you know, when people doubted him and he has found a sport and found a lane, and he has dominated, not only dominated it, he has tried his best to take it to take it serious,
Starting point is 01:32:05 to show that I'm here to stay. I'm not here to play. Anything I put my mind to, I can do. And the fans and people that watched him can respect that. We respect it. And I feel like a lot of sports. and the analyst respect him as well because he's putting the work for it.
Starting point is 01:32:20 I respect how seriously he takes it. That's what I'm saying. Like he's, I've flipped on so many of my Jake Paul thoughts because they pressed you. You to pause. Well, no. One, I mean, I thought he was a fluke at first too. I think everybody did
Starting point is 01:32:36 at first. I still do. You wouldn't fight him. No. Let me ask you. No. He beat the shit out of me. You know, let me ask you a question. Let me ask you a question. If, if, if we watch them
Starting point is 01:32:48 fight and it looks like a real match and he comes out victorious. Yeah, what would change your mind on him? What do you need to see him? Change your mind on him? If Jake Paul goes into this fight, looks serious, holds his own, and maybe even wins, that I will finally take him seriously as a boxer.
Starting point is 01:33:04 Got you. Okay. That's valid. That's valid. That's accountability. But it ain't happening. Jake Paul is proven to me that he's not a fluke. He has hands and can fight. One. Two, what he's done business, wise is absolutely phenomenal. And if I respect that, then I have to respect what comes along with that,
Starting point is 01:33:26 which may be a couple of wins that people didn't really show up for. I'm fine with that too. Also, he don't run. He don't run. Regardless of what he's put in the contract, if I was supposed to fight Tiny Tank, we know who Tank is. But if I have the advantage in height and weight and everything,
Starting point is 01:33:43 I'll fight Tank. You remove him and put Anthony Joshua there And for him to still be there ready to fight. It's respectable. You got to at least respect it. One, and two, in the great words of Mike Tyson, everybody has a plan until they hit. Until you get hit.
Starting point is 01:34:03 Yeah. So no matter what you think of him, if he can fight and he gets one lucky one off, homeboy Mike can fall. Ask Hacin Rachman. Anthony Joshua maybe could hit the ground. And if I believe in everything I just said about Jake Paul, business, boxing, and all that, that's probably what the fans want to see.
Starting point is 01:34:25 Indeed. I got Jake Paul hitting the ground. I don't know if the – I don't even know if the – Quickly. I don't – okay, but what does that do for the fight? I know it does for my life. I know that you all – hold on.
Starting point is 01:34:35 I know y'all are talking about the real live action. I'm not mad at that. But bigger picture, what would that do? It helps. It does help. It helps because it validates the authenticity of the fight. If Joshua hits him with some real Boop Boop sharp shit
Starting point is 01:34:51 That really hurts him and he gets up from the drop It validates him one taking about from a really hard hitting heavyweight That has been legitimized in the real sport And it also legitimizes the matches To show that this is not just some bullshit Where they dancing around hugging It's some real shit going on I think it could have the opposite effect
Starting point is 01:35:11 If Jake Paul gets up from that hit And does some Rocky Balboa win People are going to be like Oh my God, it's screaming They're going to have to see the ambulance come pick him, that white boy out the ring to believe that, oh, snap. Wow, this is, this is for real. This is not drama. We're in the age of slow-mo.
Starting point is 01:35:29 And if they show Paul hit him with some real solid punches where the sweat is going over there and all of that, you can see that this shit ain't staged. And I think it'll help their whole entire brand. What if they both fall? What do you think that does for the fight? If you see both. I think it legitimizes it. It's fire. more.
Starting point is 01:35:48 Yeah. I mean, we already know it's legit, but if they both get hit, like, real punches and fall, it's like, oh, they came out fighting for real. Yes. And people love the show. We love, bro. We love all of the violence. Like, unfortunately, it's human beings.
Starting point is 01:36:04 It's gladiator sports. And I think that if both of them walk out of their bleeding with teeth missing, everybody will be like, yo, we want the next one. We want it. And people got understand, man, boxes are changing. You know what? meaning that it's new sheriffs in town. You know, Jake Paul and whatever they're doing as far as business,
Starting point is 01:36:23 they're taking boxing in a new direction. And even though the old school people don't want to accept it, this is just what's happening. The viewerships, when it comes to him, the viewerships are different than what it was when Tyson was fighting, when Lenin was fighting, even when Floyd was fighting. Floyd had a lot of view. Don't get a twist.
Starting point is 01:36:41 We're talking about the age. We're talking about the age. That's what I'm talking about. Yeah, it's more stressful. Oh, yeah. Hey, camera on me, man. I'm ready. I'm ready to say it.
Starting point is 01:36:50 I'm ready to deliver a hot take. Anthony Joshua hits the ground, man. Get his tall ass out of here. Get him out of here. We got it. You used to have hands. You won a couple of fights. One punch.
Starting point is 01:37:02 I don't know what that job. Don't know what that job. That's cool. Is he a champion now? Is he a champion now? Is he a champion now? Watch your fucking mom. He's from London, nigga.
Starting point is 01:37:13 Hello. Listen, I got, I, that doesn't help. That accent ain't tough. I got, I got him going down. I have him hitting the floor at least once. When lose or draw, I'm not trying to pick a winner. I just, I just want to see somebody go down. And I think Jake Paul takes this seriously.
Starting point is 01:37:31 I think he takes it seriously. I think he looks at this as a chance to be a reputation change. For sure. I agree. Which is why you even down with taking off the exhibition table. You may be trying to take the next step. And honestly, if they come to him with a list of names, I could see him being given carte blanche to pick who he thinks he has a good shot against.
Starting point is 01:38:00 I don't think they just pick this guy who is a monster. Jake Paul told he's scared up. I don't think he's scared. I don't think he's scared. I don't think he's scared anybody. Now, you don't need to be scared to lose. My son don't be scared when he came up a ladder. Not because he can't get hurt because he's just, he's scared.
Starting point is 01:38:13 just don't know no better. Jake Paul think he know what's going on. He's going to be sleep. You got him getting sleep. Oh, yeah. He's going to get him with that dude drop. It's a wrap. Dude drop.
Starting point is 01:38:23 Three rounds? Yep. Stop it. Mark. Yeah, because you said, stop it. Mark, Mark, stop it.
Starting point is 01:38:29 Stop it. Watch it. Watch it. Watch it. It ain't an exhibition. You're going to see Friday. That's it. It's not an exhibition.
Starting point is 01:38:35 No. This will not be a three round knockout. No. Watch. Stop it. Are you going to watch? Are you going to be up watching? Yes.
Starting point is 01:38:42 How many rounds you think it goes? Seven. I think seven is a minimum. I don't think so. I don't think Anthony Joshua was going to be in good enough shape to go that distance like that.
Starting point is 01:38:55 Nope. He ain't going to need it. Now you're talking. Andy Joshua will be the club. He's going to be a VIP before midnight. He's going to be like, he's going to be long. Andy Joshua ain't no slouch. I ain't got his outfit already for us.
Starting point is 01:39:12 Exactly. He's not a slouch. Nah, Jake Paul. letting Anthony Joshua just dress up and go to a club. Oh, yeah. You ain't just going to whatever Florida club. You ain't walking and live or not. You gotta have a night on your face. Something. He better
Starting point is 01:39:24 have a scratch or bruise some blood. Maybe a little sweat. Some blood that can't come on. He'll be overheated. His right wrist might be a little sore. Nothing a little shower can't fit. That's funny. The upper country is so you. Crazy. You're talking about Joshua getting knocked down. I got Jake Paul getting
Starting point is 01:39:40 knocked down. Joshua's been knocked down before. Yeah. It ain't like a big deal. Oh, my God, he's the first one to do it. That's why I think this is... That's a good point. It's a different. It's a different. You think that Anthony Joshua has something to prove?
Starting point is 01:39:52 Yes. No, he has something to prove. Absolutely. I want to teach him a lesson. No. I can't go in here and get knocked out by this amateur term pro. Can't do it. But also teach him a lesson because how Jake Paul has been walking through people and saying
Starting point is 01:40:04 that, you know, it's not about... I can't let him... He can't do that to me. I have to move to the United States as from Anthony Joshua and I let this boy be. And I get beat by a YouTuber. Yeah. You can't go back home. Look, look at the ignorance. Look, you can't go back home. But also, that's the thing. Nothing changes about Jake Paul's career at all. If he loses this. He's expected to. Everything can change about the future for Anthony Joshua if he loses. I concur. I think they both have big plans after this. So this is a weighted bout. There are things on the line. I agree. I agree. I think what's... Anthony Joshua can't lose this and pop right back up talking about. some Tyson Fury.
Starting point is 01:40:46 Yeah. Like, No. No. I just don't see that happening. I think they both take this really seriously. I agree. I think they've both done a lot of training.
Starting point is 01:40:56 They've been, they've been focused. I've seen some of the interviews out there. They both look like they don't want to be bothered with any of that. They just want to see each other. It's time now. That's what I love about Fight Week. At some point, it's time.
Starting point is 01:41:10 Like, I'm a fighter. Everything is blocked out. There's no sex. There's no clubs. I want to see you and do something bad to you. So I'm looking forward to it. And you got prediction. Oh, man.
Starting point is 01:41:26 The first question Logan Paul asked me when I sat down was, how do you feel about jink? Hmm. Press you. Yeah. Say the wrong thing. Oh, that's why you're up here tap dancing. Yeah, that's why.
Starting point is 01:41:37 A little bit of straightening. Oh, they're straightening. How you feel about jink? That's why you're up here tap dancing. I'm just with whatever is more, whatever will be the more dramatic outcome. And for me, that's Jake Paul knocking him down. Not out.
Starting point is 01:41:54 Just down. If he knock him out. Violently, violently. If he knocked him up in Australia. You think that's the bigger outcome? Jake Paul knocking him down? Then him knocking Jake Paul down? 100%.
Starting point is 01:42:06 That is a big outcome. He's right. That would be. It just ain't happening. A thousand percent. Yeah, but it ain't happening. I don't see that. It ain't.
Starting point is 01:42:13 You got Jake winning. He got Jake losing. No. I'm going Jake. I'm going to Jake Paul. I got Jake Paul winning. Jake? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:42:21 I'm going with Jake Paul. Oh, you are. Yeah, we got that. What you got? Don't skip me. You think the white man. I'm going to skip you. I'm going to skip you.
Starting point is 01:42:27 I'm going to say. I'm sorry. You're sad. Yeah. Oh, man. You know what? I got Joshua. Fast.
Starting point is 01:42:39 I got Jake Paul winning, but I also, like I keep saying, I have him touching the mat. I got Jake Paul. Joshua. Joshua. Yes. Joshua fell off. Joshua.
Starting point is 01:42:49 Anthony Joshua fell off. If Anthony Joshua is who y'all say he is, then why is he taking this fight? He would. Why is he even here right now? He's falling off. Why is he in this predicament? I just think there's a difference between pros and non-pros. Joe, he still got hands.
Starting point is 01:43:03 And he's still a professional fighter. He's tough. And if Joshua don't get him out of it, if Joshua don't get him out there in three, I got Paul taking it if it goes past. And I got Joshua taking a bottom three. He said, why is he taking this fight against Jake Paul live on Netflix? Come on, Joe. The cash cash.
Starting point is 01:43:19 I get money and I get the whoops of my ass. Yeah, it was right there, please. All right, that was aggressive. That was aggressive. That was aggressive. Javante Tang Davis was at the top of the world and he took the fight. So we understand why he took the fight. I'm not going to say anybody, but you're going to take the fight.
Starting point is 01:43:34 But they took the fight in very different standings. That's what I'll say. Javante Tang Davis, when he took it, we said, champ I don't care about that Lamont Roach fight champ he's got hands You can't play with him
Starting point is 01:43:47 Anthony Joshua is just not coming in with all And I don't want to sound like a broken record But he's not coming in With that same Flair I agree He's not coming in just
Starting point is 01:43:58 I think he know that Joe That's more the reason Nick it's hard He hits hard Like we can't discount The fact that he hits hard Jake
Starting point is 01:44:08 Ain't nobody join you. Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake, Jake. That's a Friday night. I will be absolutely glued to this. This Friday, December 19th, 8 p.m.
Starting point is 01:44:26 Only on Netflix. No Netflix sharing passwords. You got to have your own Netflix and, yeah, it should be fireworks. I'll be here. Yeah, I'll be watching. Indeed. I want to get back to that Ebro stuff for a second. I do.
Starting point is 01:44:41 Not you. It's juicy out there. Whoa. Not you. Mr. You spent countless hours. Uh-huh. In lessons.
Starting point is 01:44:49 Countless. On closing a topic. Mr. I want to close a topic. You spent that money for nothing? Yeah, when we wanted to go. I'm trying to go back and nigger rethink and try to step on our shit. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:45:00 Yeah. Go ahead, champ. What you got to say? Go ahead. Mr. Insider. Just back to, no, I'm not giving inside information. I'm just saying back to my point about just taking your time.
Starting point is 01:45:10 You jump right. into the AdSense game? Like it's different when you wake up every morning at a certain time and you're paid to do a service. Okay, true. That's back to company men versus people who make it
Starting point is 01:45:24 in the Wild Wild West. Getting up on your own volition, on your own will for free is a different ball game. I would just the AdSons check? I mean, not
Starting point is 01:45:40 not to say he should have went to Patreon but I mean shit he could have went to Patreon he could have went to Substack there's other things that could be happening also it's the holidays back to that back to that this stuff is important during a break and taking your time
Starting point is 01:45:55 it's Christmas and New Year's the whole industry is about to take a break you can make this look as natural as you wanted to look they don't have to know nothing I just think it's an opportunity squandered when you're
Starting point is 01:46:10 You've been working for 20-something years in a row. I'm not disagreeing with you. Again, from my original point, I just think emotions was running high, and it might not have been the most calculated, logical thing based on somebody's emotional standing. Or I've been working for 20 years, and this is all I know.
Starting point is 01:46:27 Yeah, that could be some of it. So I got to get back to the work immediately. I'm agreeing with you. And there's too many big-time moves being made. Howard Stern just announced that he signed a brand-new three-year deal Oh, wow. Yeah, round of applause for Howard. Howard proves time and time again that the only thing he cares about in life is the gig.
Starting point is 01:46:49 The gig. It ain't, it's, he's not there for money, even though the money is life-changing. I'm sure he beat out his last contract of $120 million. Which was $100 million a year. Life-changing. Something more. Some crazy. His life has been changed 17 times by the money.
Starting point is 01:47:03 He can't get no different. But he just continues to be an example. I mean, I don't know that. I would do it at his. age, but it's admirable. You might be the knick at a do it, though. I know, I don't take it off the table. Yeah, you might be the nigga of it.
Starting point is 01:47:14 It really is admirable, and it says a lot about even serious. I don't want to get to, this is a good time for me to talk about all you buildings and podcasters business, but I'm trying to be kind. But I ain't heard too much about that core daddy serious shit. You ain't heard of fucking peep. Y'all got how old. Got to stay in the building. Tell me something about what's happening over there.
Starting point is 01:47:37 That's a good point. Valate. I heart to Netflix. Yeah. I heart to Netflix. That deal. Big one. Pretty big.
Starting point is 01:47:49 I don't know if it's been finalized or now, but they announced it in the internet streets. Are the numbers? No. They probably won't be. They won't be when the chess board, when the kings and queens on the chess board are moving. The numbers only come out during the nigger shit.
Starting point is 01:48:08 This ain't nigger shit. This is company to company. High 97 is media co. That's private. That's private. Yep. I-Hart is not that. They are a media conglomerate.
Starting point is 01:48:24 I know people keep trying to force them in the radio wars, but you can't hold. Eye-heart is not. No. It's not that. Much bigger than that. Netflix making a lot of interesting moves. They are. Big Dog on the blog.
Starting point is 01:48:39 spending and this is why I'll save that rent I'm gonna save that rent I'll save that rent I'll save that rent because I know it's some of y'all out there that's not happy some of you out there's just like when when you was an artist I had no choice when they put pump it up on the fast and furious soundtrack a week before my album came out and it sold 375,000 copies week one when people had to go to the stores with my song as the first single. The nerve of y'all that didn't say that I flopped
Starting point is 01:49:16 when the same song sold 93,000 copies for a brand new act, but guess what? I didn't have control. I didn't own, I didn't control what could and could not be done with something that I created. And I've been telling you all for forever that part of my stance as a podcaster
Starting point is 01:49:34 and independent land is from that trauma, is from going through that. Never will there be a day where you strike that seismic of a deal and I don't have a saying it. That's just not. All right. I'll save it.
Starting point is 01:49:51 I'll save it. I'll save it. I'll save it. I'll save it. Me, I would be pissed. If some of y'all out there, I know it's pissed. I'm not saying it.
Starting point is 01:50:00 But I know it. But it's reason to be mad. It's reasonable bad. Anyway, come on, we don't talk about music. Yeah, let's talk a little music. 2026, I got a clinic coming for y'all. I got an absolute clinic coming for y'all, 2026 if the scene keeps shaping out the way that it's shaping out.
Starting point is 01:50:20 Boy, y'all in for a goodie. Go ahead. Go ahead, because I'll just sit here and end up talking shit. She's interesting. Yeah, we're like, yeah. Yeah, no, I'm chilling. I'll wait because the same thing, like I said, about the ebrown.
Starting point is 01:50:35 Anybody could talk. We ain't. Oh, you're going to show action. You're going to show. It's happening. Yo, you at Benny Hanas. They're doing it. You don't got to get onions if you don't want onions.
Starting point is 01:50:50 Yo, it's right in front of your face. They ain't playing with me. I'm the lad. I'm the only nigga that only shit. You can't play with me. What are you talking? Boy, we're so past that. Who dropped music, girl?
Starting point is 01:51:03 Who dropped music? Good boy. Who dropped some music? I want to go back because when we recorded our last pod, it was a lot of music that dropped. And I did say I did not get to listen to everything, you know, by the time we recorded. Walking back, your push-hasty take?
Starting point is 01:51:17 No. What? I said, I love the song. They're heating you up. They're frying you up out there. I know you don't care. I know you don't care, but it's my job to at least see it
Starting point is 01:51:26 and bring it to you and make the awkward moment. Your points still stands as far as well. No, they said that's one of freeze worst takes ever. I read that. I don't know if I agree with that. I don't know if I'm talking about Conway's album. There we go. I don't give a fuck about that.
Starting point is 01:51:39 I'm here to talk about Conway's album because I listen to it and that shit is amazing. Conway clearly won the weekend for me. Out of everything that dropped, I listened to it all. I had time to sit and digest. It's a great album. Every project that dropped and that Conway album is it's updict. Exceeded expectations. Yes.
Starting point is 01:51:59 Shot the machine, man. Buy a lot. Yes. Buy a lot. Yes. So I just wanted to come in and give that. album is proper praise because I just heard the one record y'all played yeah and I sat and listened to that project and ran it back a couple more times so salute to you conway amazing project
Starting point is 01:52:17 what else happened in music I try to look and see do I have a take I need to walk back I'll be walking back my bed takes I'm cool I think I do good you listen 21 anymore yeah yeah I stand by it I still I don't love that I didn't like the production of that album very much I will say that there was no good songs on the album? No, I'm not. The second half of the album got better to me, production-wise. The beats at the first half just lost me a little bit. Same. I like it. I like it still. I understand the criticism out there,
Starting point is 01:52:41 but I really enjoy the project. All right, so now I've played it. So now it's a just-a-pute-shy shit since everybody else Oh, shit. That's right. That's right. Stop playing my boy. So now. So now. Try to check me last time. Let me see you.
Starting point is 01:52:54 So now, people have been throwing up the Apple Apple music thing in my face, pause. Hey, look, it's number one on Apple music. Yep. I'm not sure if you're aware, but that list changes damn near hourly. Like, I know people that stay up to two in the morning to catch themselves at number one on Apple Music to say, hey, I'm number one right now. That's not really an indication to me, to me, because I see an album be number one and then three hours later, it's not on there no more. Okay.
Starting point is 01:53:20 Fair point. So I'm not, that does not hold weight like y'all think it does. Got it. Okay, that's one. Again, back to what I said. this is a great first day out record. I'm not cool with the name. I've explained that.
Starting point is 01:53:35 I think that's what they, I think I don't know if it's so much your take, but just to be clear, I think that's the part that's really bothersome is the whole, hey, it should be your first day out. I'm not saying your first day out. I didn't say that. Again, I know exactly what I said.
Starting point is 01:53:52 The record should drop sooner to your release. I ain't done telling camera, I'm on your release. The records should drop sooner to your release. You've been out for. for a minute and now you put out the first day out. It's been, yeah, it's a month later. This is not a first day out song.
Starting point is 01:54:05 And that's it. And outside of, outside of T. Grizzly. Who first day out did you put like in that? Gucci is the pinnacle of first day outs. We, we, you haven't got to mention T. Grizzly yet. Okay. Gucci's A1. You would know better than me.
Starting point is 01:54:23 It's a classic. I take your word. It started first day outs. It's a classic song. We got it for you. Um, yeah, that's cool.
Starting point is 01:54:30 No, not. You want to met for the awkward moments and talk. Let's talk. Let's talk. I mean,
Starting point is 01:54:37 let's talk. Good, you know, we're going to talk. Goddeme. All right, so Gucci made. Gucci.
Starting point is 01:54:44 Again, T. Grizzly. Hey, y'all might get mad at it. JT's first day out is up there. Oh, no, no, no, no, no, no,
Starting point is 01:54:52 they can't get mad at that. I'm just, so when you go and say this is the best first day out, I just gave you three. That's not better than. J.T. is good, but who's
Starting point is 01:55:00 I'm not saying it's bad. I'm just saying go in that best. If you can't get to Ford and it's still the best one of the baby. If you get, if it's five of them, then that's... This is an, again, I love the song.
Starting point is 01:55:13 Y'all act like... He bought the energy, Vetsu. I almost robbed a nigga this weekend. No, serious. Conway album made me want to do that. No, I said, he brought that feeling, man. I almost went in fucking one of them Gettys
Starting point is 01:55:23 right there on tunnel. Almost stole something out of Super Bowl. Nick. Almost. He wasn't on Tunnel. Oh, Walmart. And he wasn't in Walmart. Now, that's the one.
Starting point is 01:55:34 What's it? Hey, hey, I'm freestowning like a movie. Wasn't it on Walmart? No, no, no. And I wasn't on Tony. I would be on Tunnel Lee before I was. Hey, yo, you don't remember on Parishilton in them show? It was a clip.
Starting point is 01:55:49 It was real, though. Well, no. I don't remember on Paraselton show. Parrisilton and, what's the Lido? Richie's a Coe. They didn't know a Walmart. is, they were like, what the fuck is that? They sell walls in there.
Starting point is 01:56:01 That's you, yo. What the last time you've been in the Walmart, yo? I don't really go to Walmart. Me neither. Me either. Honestly, when I went to, and this is for a few reasons, but my top two is when I went to, where did I interview Homeboy, Wyoming? Did I go to Wyoming and interview the guy that climbed all of the mountains? And Wyoming is where the super, the billionaire people go.
Starting point is 01:56:27 And that's Dayhood and that's that. It's eight houses. And along my ride, you know, it was a tourist attraction. Hey, that's the Walmart property. The Walmart family has that one. It had a sign. It's almost like, it's almost like, what do you call it? When the city recognizes this as a landmark, historical landmark.
Starting point is 01:56:46 It had a sign that says Bill Walmart. Walton. Whoever is. But it was a sign. And I said, oh, really? This lot right here. And they said, no. The lot we've been driving by for the past 10 men, look behind this whole.
Starting point is 01:57:06 Everything. As far as you can't see anymore. Still pass up. Keep going. They go past there. This is theirs. They won't even build. Why?
Starting point is 01:57:17 Because why? Yeah, because. So once I heard that, I was like, you know what? I will get my waffles from somewhere else. One and two, hate to say it, but I'm from hip hop. When they caught Benny in Houston, I was like, see? Shouldn't have been at Walmart. We'd be on them roads and we'd be needing new drawers and new t-shirts or something quick on tour.
Starting point is 01:57:42 We run in where they know. Guess what? They know we running in there for that. They laying up on us. I'm not losing my life at Walmart because I need clean drawers. That's not going to happen. Sorry, call it the leaders. Call it what you want.
Starting point is 01:57:55 It's another reason why. I'm not buying a new dog for Walmart. Come on, Haynes are doing the pitch, man. Knock it off. Sorry, yo. You're talking to town. See, I go to Walmart. Sorry, y'all.
Starting point is 01:58:05 You whisper to me, it's for the polls, yes? Yo, rat, that. You said, for the pie. I just want to make sure. They know you down. I don't know why you keep it in the street. I go to Walmart. No.
Starting point is 01:58:15 When I'm down. No. No. Two questions. When the last time you've been to Walmart and what Walmart was it? And what'd you buy that? And what did? When I was visiting my mother in Virginia.
Starting point is 01:58:26 So that's the last never. That's once in the last seven years. What's the fuck of a mom? Well, he don't go down there. He just saw his mom up there. His mom won't even let him go down there no more. You got to see his mom in private. It ain't no family group change.
Starting point is 01:58:40 FaceTime. Hey, mom. Your mom, meet me over here to Cracklebear. What would you buy? See, Walmart is different. What did you buy? I'm about to explain to you. Walmart and the South, bro, is the store.
Starting point is 01:58:54 Like, you close. From TV. to fucking guns to black bubble gum so what is the Walmart up here do the same thing too they're just a Walmart yeah they got the same shit you would know that if you were the Walmart
Starting point is 01:59:06 up here Antoine what you bought you don't remember I don't remember whatever my mother needed at the time okay so you don't go to Walmart but if your mom can send you to Walmart and when the baby was motherfucking when the when the baby was in there and had to back out on
Starting point is 01:59:20 somebody and mad TikTok videos of the Walmart security guard getting shafted up. Hey, you can't walk through this. You can't watch this move. I'm not, I'm cool. I'll buy my stofers from somewhere,
Starting point is 01:59:38 somewhere else. That's all. What else? Big news and music. Brii Carey. Oh, shit. Just went diamond for the third time. Why is that big news?
Starting point is 01:59:48 That's not big news. For the third time? They're getting hip to how you on the topics too. Big news. Which album was it? Merry Christmas. I thought it was Diamond already. Merry Christmas just went Diamond
Starting point is 02:00:00 two days ago. Oh, the album. The song has been Diamond. The song is... Way past Diamond. But the album now, which had three singles, we just only remember
Starting point is 02:00:09 all I want for Christmas is you because that's the only when it mattered, matter? Not that it matters, but I'm not hearing that song the way I'm used to hearing it this year. Me neither. They played at Walmart.
Starting point is 02:00:18 I bet the fucking knew. Yeah, probably. I heard it at the rich people mall and went to over here. Play that shit. Oh. Hold on the Park. Rich people more, huh?
Starting point is 02:00:27 You might be auditioning for Top Gun 3, yo. I went to the, I had to buy a houseworming gift. I hear you. You know what I mean? They played it there, though. Where'd you go to for a housewoman game? What is it called? Williams and Sonoma.
Starting point is 02:00:38 Yeah, I wasn't trying to say it first. William and Sonoma. That's the fancy kitchen. That's nice. He wants to care about whoever. I could. I could stay in that. Parks is a good gift giver.
Starting point is 02:00:49 Yeah. Well, that was REM, too. Well, you and your lovely wife. She's a great gift giver. But Williams Sonoma, you fuck. with somebody for real. Yeah. William and Sonoma,
Starting point is 02:00:58 I don't go in there no more neither because it let me know everything in my kitchen is wrong. Yeah, facts. They've updated everything. Bro, I was tight.
Starting point is 02:01:07 Look at his spatulas. No, not your kitchen. Fuck. Hold up. Everything in my kitchen is wrong. Poor. It is what I've been doing.
Starting point is 02:01:15 Everything in my kitchen is poor. I'd be writing the down. If you've been to William in Sonoma just walked around in there, then my shit is a best. I don't think it's a end. I think it's just,
Starting point is 02:01:24 I think it's just William Sonoma. Whatever. Oh, well, I'm good old. It's cool. Damn, it ain't, right? Williams, William Sonoma. Why do we do that? Why do I do that?
Starting point is 02:01:34 I've been doing that for a million. Clearly. What your shit? You're Joe buttons. Williams. I went in there. They had every fly. Everything.
Starting point is 02:01:44 Knife set, air friar, spattel. What? I got lost in the cutting board sections. They got shit that I don't even know what it do. Blenders. the shit did mix. Some different whisks. All types of fosha.
Starting point is 02:01:58 This shit lit. You'll go in there and spin, that's fine. You could spend thousands in age. You could eat quick. Just on knives. Yeah. Oh, quick. I left the, that's the first thing I'm telling them when I need knives.

Starting point is 02:07:46 I can't stop talking to you like that because that unlocks your great potter abilities. No, it don't. When I don't do that, it's just sleepy, man. No, no it don't. I got to insult your fucking ego. I got to fraud at what he, what he, if you fuck with his ego, he feels like he'll pop it out.
Starting point is 02:08:01 Laugh at him about something. I did somebody laugh at him, man. He's going to be that. Hey, yo, once you put your hand here and go like this? Oh, yeah. Once you're proffing it, don't get up to that? There's it. That's it.
Starting point is 02:08:12 That's hilarious, yo. Yo, you're a fool. What do you? You want to talk about B-D's list? Sure. Oh, yes. Let's talk about B-Dage list. BDOT
Starting point is 02:08:20 Right around this time Shout to BDOT Friends of the show He turned shit up He did it again He's got a list You want 10 to 1 or 1 to 10 10 to 1 always
Starting point is 02:08:30 Lloyd Banks Right Banks is 10 What's about list Best rappers of 2025 Based on skill Songs slash features And Presence
Starting point is 02:08:38 Lloyd Banks is number 10 Not mad at that Banks should be on this list Number 9 Ransom Our guy Shout to Ransom 9 seems a little bit low
Starting point is 02:08:49 Yeah he's low Eight chains. Also feels a little bit low to me personally. But y'all know how much I love that chains album. Number seven, Larry June, who did kill it. I don't know if he's making my top ten, respectfully. I love Larry June. I disagree with this whole front four.
Starting point is 02:09:05 Same. Keep going. Six, Boldie James. Boldie James put out 700 albums here. I'm not mad at him being on this list somewhere. Walee, number five. Top five? Not too bad.
Starting point is 02:09:16 Number four, JID, J. Number three, Joey Badass. number two naz number one clips they're putting together where's right together yeah Freddie gibbs should be on this list Chance the rapper should be on this list and high on this list
Starting point is 02:09:33 and high on this list at that Chance the rapper outwrapped the majority of that list Correct he definitely did Correct he definitely with ease Yo easily what's the criteria again skills Skills songs and features And presence
Starting point is 02:09:47 Cardi Bibi should be on that list will freeze taking us out of here. Cardi B should absolutely be right. Cardi B should absolutely be right. He's right. He's right. I'm not mad. I'm not all the way of that. Because if presence is one of the criteria,
Starting point is 02:10:02 a lot of those people don't have a huge presence. That's valid. You understand what I'm saying? If you are, if you're not a hip-hop guy such as yourself, I don't know who one of them dudes. Like a lot of who didn't hear both of James and shit. Yeah, that's true. That's true.
Starting point is 02:10:14 I don't know what I'm going to hear from me. Cardi B outwrapped a lot of niggas too. A lot of niggins shit. She did. I'm not dissuared. I'll rap. She did. Like, I'm gonna keep, like,
Starting point is 02:10:23 he's missed, this is like, this should be the male rapper list. No, nigger. Because Glorilla should be on that list. Like, there's names that had a year
Starting point is 02:10:30 with features. That's why I put the criteria. A male. Yeah, Gibbs. I'm just saying, we already agreed. He forgot Gibbs. But even then some of them names listed
Starting point is 02:10:38 shouldn't be there in a place for some of these female rappers that had a year. I want POS from DALS old on this list. If it's my list, I'm putting Poss on there. For him to hold down that whole album,
Starting point is 02:10:47 damn nearby himself. And that was amazing rapping. That was incredible rapping. I really enjoyed that album. I got a problem with two chains and Larry June being on this list together. Oh, no. Chains Smoke this year. No, no.
Starting point is 02:11:01 Okay. The Alchrist record is amazing and the soundtrack shit was tough. And in the beginning of the year, Larry June was doing well. In the beginning of the year, they dropped the album. I'm picking one of them. Oh, yeah, I'm would you. Which from, I would imagine put a slash. But I would have.
Starting point is 02:11:15 Yeah, if you put clips up there. Yeah. Yeah, you could have put them on one. One tier. One, one number. Should Nause be number two? I think he should be. No.
Starting point is 02:11:23 No. No. I was surprised he's that high. I would probably have been like four. What was the last album that came out on 25? What should mean? I thought his albums came out of 24. Nas, just put out of them.
Starting point is 02:11:32 Last week. I mean. And he had features on there. Oh, he had a bunch of features though this year. Yeah, the features. Yeah, his feature run has to put him hot. The feature run is what puts him so high. You know what you like that.
Starting point is 02:11:41 He smoked that Ma Deep album. He smoked the De La So album. If you wanted to put him in three, I wouldn't be mad at day. I'm a little lower. I think I, yeah. Yeah, he don't, hey, don't put him in two, but he got to go in the top five. I had to have four.
Starting point is 02:11:56 He'd be like four for me. I can't believe chances not only listen. Chances. Absolutely should be on the list. Chance got robbed. The album voting, the rankings, all that shit. He went crazy, bro. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:12:07 Agreed. Lloyd Banks, that's my man. Love Banks. And he put out a dope project. And a really good album. And a really good album. And a good project. That maybe would put him, if I'm naming it,
Starting point is 02:12:18 honorable mention at 11 honorable mention respectfully he would be high I don't I can't say with conviction top 10 high
Starting point is 02:12:28 but I wasn't really paying too much attention to the rankings I was paying attention to the names right because you need to do a list
Starting point is 02:12:35 you need some outreach yo dog when the Kendrick album dropped that was that was last year for GNX yeah that was last year though it's right
Starting point is 02:12:41 before the Super Bowl and another one I might get laughed out the room and I understand it Y'all all might not be familiar. G. Herbo should be on this list.
Starting point is 02:12:51 That's another name who had a great year, great album, features have been everywhere. There's names, this seems like I got to put the lyrical, lyrical list is, freeze. I'm just saying, if we're talking rappers, we're talking rappers. Tell me a nigger. If we're talking rappers, we talk in rappers. What is it?
Starting point is 02:13:10 What is B.D. Trying to do. It's a list. So we know the objective of lists. We need something on there that's conjuring. We need something to spike engagement. Like we get the business behind list. We don't have to act like we all sold.
Starting point is 02:13:25 But I'm not mad at Judge G Herbo Tigger. Yeah, me either. I'm not. I also, if it's me, I'm putting a slash with the Joey badass and putting Ray Vaughlin right in there too. Because he smoked in that battle as well and put out a really fucking dope album. I would have had West Side Gun over for Lloyd Banks.
Starting point is 02:13:42 West Side Gunn put out a bunch of dope shit this year. That's what I'm saying. West Side Gun would have made my list. And no disrespect to banks again. Banks would be in my top. Of course. Of course. Of course.
Starting point is 02:13:49 I made top 10. But Westside put out a lot of good shit. He did. He did. Dog, I know I run a sweat shop over here with the pardon, but I'd love to see your list at the end of the year. I'm putting my list out. Yeah, I want to ask you. We want to promote it, nigga.
Starting point is 02:14:04 I'm putting my list out. Did you know what that means? Putting it out. Yeah, I want to see the freeze. I'm putting my list out. I didn't do a list last year. I'm doing every year beforehand. So the Max B shit you did.
Starting point is 02:14:17 Like, we want you. And you could take it. step further. You could do the best rappers and then you could do our freeze says who's cold. Stop it. Stop playing with my work. Stop playing with my boy. Don't go for PC.
Starting point is 02:14:30 It could be cold like cold as a slain. Or to you by chorus light. Also, Nick, I get you the name Freeze. Remember, I'm coming from my sleep on. You're such a crackhead. That's your IP. That's your IP. I love this, nigga.
Starting point is 02:14:46 Hey, you know what? The fact that he's only one that nigga, you live. very still. He's the only one that leaned into it. I love free. That should make me feel good. I don't know who's representing you in your business now, but if there was one call that would make Ian's day is if you called him
Starting point is 02:15:00 and said, I need you to call Corr's light for me. That's the type of shit, boy. If you go in with some of that, he's at it. He's walking to Colorado. Wherever to fuck that shit is. Chapter Rockies.
Starting point is 02:15:14 That's Spike here. That's Spike here. Stand it up. No, Ian will go and to a brewery. He'll make a sample cord light with your face and that nigga's crazy. No, he is, though. He did some other shit for me.
Starting point is 02:15:26 I was like, damn, all right. Yeah, I fuck with it. BDOT. We love you. I get it. Not mad at it. You always have my support, but we're on to you, buddy. And, no, no, I can't even just say we're on to you,
Starting point is 02:15:42 honestly, because I'm going to tell you why. Expose them. You mentioned, no, no. You mentioned the Max B. shit that I put together, right? I'm getting death threats over this. Nigger don't matter, you freeze. And I understand now how you just can't please everybody with a list.
Starting point is 02:15:57 Yeah, freeze is shams. What shams did the home board? To his mentor, what was my man named? He said then they go off to retirement to be with his family, ain't? No more breaking new. Woage. B.D.D.D. is Woj. The old grisly vet. Oh, man.
Starting point is 02:16:12 Who's a little slow with the news and the list. No, no, no. I fuck with him. Let's go, Shams. But yeah, I get it. Like, I get it. We're looking for it. We're looking for it. You ain't say this.
Starting point is 02:16:22 Like, nah, good. I understand. But don't put too much West Coast shit on the, like, hey, eh, master P. Now, I know we know we ain't this good. Yeah, what? He put out of the project in a lot. Which other one in the world is?
Starting point is 02:16:33 He dropped the album last month. Who? P. I don't know. I would call Cor's late, niggins. Can't call Cor's like. Yo.
Starting point is 02:16:43 Hey, Corey. I didn't know you, I don't know what. I was that. Can that? Yeah. I know, I gave you to co-sign. I thought he would show up.
Starting point is 02:16:53 Yeah. Right up the first. They called Colt 45 is a little. Oh, shit. Yo, parks. Wow. And that's why you can't co-sign your friends getting a job. They're going to go in there and change.

Starting point is 02:17:27 How do you talk when you speak to your, his family? In-laws, how you talk to them? Ice house. You don't talk like this. You don't say monkey and shit like that. He'd be like, hello, John. Hello, Antoine.
Starting point is 02:17:37 When you talk to your wife, family, you talk about your monkey? No, but I still talk like flip. I talk like this. I don't know. Well, hold on, hold on. Well, the thing. The thing about my wife family be up here.
Starting point is 02:17:51 It'd be at my crib. Oh, that's good. You got white family? That's good. White family. Oh. Be careful too. We heard white family.
Starting point is 02:17:58 I'm not married. I'm here to learn from you, Mark, and Parks. Brother, I have nothing to say in this topic. So what you're about to say? Nothing. Don't bring you back on. When you married, you do talk to the family. I guess that's that.
Starting point is 02:18:13 I have no experience. I wouldn't know. Do you talk to the family? Huh? You talk. He's not married. This is a married talk. Got it.
Starting point is 02:18:19 Okay, cool. And I do. All right, cool. But this is for the man. Like I said, I talk regular for my family. You know, they come over there, cook for me and shit like that. I don't know how to talk in a way, my brother. I know you get a lot of shit here.
Starting point is 02:18:29 I'm not saying you do with your family, but you got a white voice. I can always tell you took a white person. You can tell who you're on the phone with. When he walked up fast? I'd meet seven windows. Who is this? You got a bang? No, no, no, no.

Starting point is 02:20:37 He don't gentrify his name like that. No. Anthony, is that you? Yes. Antoine is French. Oh. Oh. Oh.
Starting point is 02:20:45 Oh. Check me. Wow. Yo, don't never say that again. It is. You say, yo, you say Anthony to sound more white. Nigna. Antoine.
Starting point is 02:20:56 He said his name is white enough. That's what he's saying. Yeah. Yo, y'all niggins is stupid. You do look. So you're saying you're French. You are French. I told him he'll get his wife a scar from France.
Starting point is 02:21:05 I told him. French non-tana. Look at French, French Antana. I can do this for days. French Antana. And is that thing that you. you do with your voice when you're not talking? Like when you were around Cheyenne Bryant?
Starting point is 02:21:20 Ooh. Where you just talked through your facial expressions and your teeth and your cheekbones. He smiled too. You smiled. You smiled. You smiled. You smiled. That's what I did.
Starting point is 02:21:29 Hello. Hello, Cheyenne. Of course, Cheyenne. That's what I did. That's what I was doing. Niggas. You always say, no. Don't live with me starting.
Starting point is 02:21:36 I got a lot of shit to say about that. You got mad at me. You got a lot. I went back to research the shit you were saying on the pod. And what you said up there? It is two different niggas. You cold switch. You're cold switches.
Starting point is 02:21:51 It's not a cold switch. Everyone's switch. Everybody co-switches. Yeah. All right. Some more than others. Some more than others. We all do this shit.
Starting point is 02:22:00 Let's get a code switch list in the room. Real quick. This should be a matter of five seconds. Oh, what? Who do it the most versus least? Most of lease. Mark, one. The lease is flip.
Starting point is 02:22:11 I'm on the water way. I don't know. Yeah, you got no cold. I got a lot of cold. I got a lot of code. What you fucking mouth. I got access to it. I don't think flip is last.
Starting point is 02:22:19 Flip his last. I disagree. You think he cold switch? Buddy. Where you got him at? Just give me a look. Give me a list. Dude, who you think that cold switch for, nigga?
Starting point is 02:22:28 That's that insults to me. I'll slap you, digger. Fire me right now. If Mark is one, oh, that's in. I'll never fire you. You're crazy. Come on, it's us. No, no, no.
Starting point is 02:22:42 But I said earlier, but I mean, it's been a talk. You said that every time we talk about it. Shut up. I ain't full of his tricks anymore. You'd trick me into quitting. Go. Let's your new shit. I would try to pay you to quit.
Starting point is 02:22:58 I would give you like a separate back. I would. I can't do it like that. You got to give me a little more respect. I can't do it like that. I don't think nobody would look at me the same. Nobody would know. The niggas that I love.
Starting point is 02:23:10 You got to go out with a bang? The people that fired me and paid me, you didn't run around saying, hey, John paid me to get fired. No, what I'm saying is that when it comes, we're not going to hyper-focus on flip. All I'm saying is that- Yeah, because I'm getting back to my jokes on you. All I'm saying is that if you do let me go,
Starting point is 02:23:25 because renewal may be coming up, if you do let me go, you've got to do a better than that. You got to fit me down, talk to me. You can't play around. None of that little funny shit, no extra hype shit. And also, if I do take a break, whoever sit here, don't extra hype them up to try to erase me, because
Starting point is 02:23:40 I'm a violate you. I don't want to do it. Before I let you go, before I let you go. I'm going, nigga. Oh, yeah. Yeah, y'all are stupid. Wait, I had a good joke. Oh, yeah, the list.
Starting point is 02:23:59 It never takes five seconds. You first. It never does. I'm not mad at Mark being number one. I think you're on this. Cold Switch? Don't, but why are you telling me to go first? I did.
Starting point is 02:24:10 If you were going to go first? Yes. All right. Go first, Joe. Yeah. Leave the way. Mark number one for you. Mark is number one.
Starting point is 02:24:20 Okay. Yeah, for sure. Clear. Because when I get to Mark, it ain't just a professional thing. Mark will code switch socially. Oh. So he has to be number one for me. Yeah, niggas, my man.
Starting point is 02:24:33 He do that. You would all this are run a business shit to me. You have to be number two. Yeah, you do. And a close. Close. That voice mail closed the gap. Oh, you're one and a half, he said, nigga.
Starting point is 02:24:44 You're just asking me my opinion and my belief. Sure, sure. And again, outside of the professional co-switch talk we're having, I don't think it's possible for Ish to acquire the network he has and speak to the amount of people he not only speaks to but keeps in touch with without Coach Switch. That's a good point. I feel like that. I do. You ask my opinion?
Starting point is 02:25:05 I'm giving it to you. No. Three, ice will not let us clean him up and fix him up. I keep trying to teach him new ways to Coach Witch, but he's just a filthy heathen. So I can't put him there. I do think that Parks is unapologetically himself. I don't think Parks do it. Yeah, I don't, I'm not going to say that.
Starting point is 02:25:28 Parks could do it, but it's just that. It's not as much as I would expect him to go with. So you got yourself three? I probably would have to be three by default. I think you got to sort of by basically who deals with the most people in professional situation, different types of professional situation. I try my best not to, but by default I think I am. If Flip, Ice, and Parks are the names left, I'm three.
Starting point is 02:25:50 Yeah. Yeah. So now if we add Amani and Mona to that list. Oh. I feel like Mona and Flip might be neck and neck at the bottom, but I think Mona might co-switch more. What do you think I call on? No. No.
Starting point is 02:26:04 I'm with you. I got Flip Colts with you more than one. You're with Mark or me. I'm with Mark. Mona just by sheer faces she's in front of and what she might say while someone is in front of her. Yeah I can see it
Starting point is 02:26:19 It's like campaigning Mona is a comedian She knows how to campaign She does Great job at it When you see me Go Do your list
Starting point is 02:26:26 Amani just be getting pussy I don't know That's a certain kind of cool Yeah Amani just be running game That ain't That don't really count to me Um
Starting point is 02:26:33 I think Joe's first Bitch I think Joe's first Like Oh right No no no no No no I'm gonna say
Starting point is 02:26:44 You stop Right here Fuck that nigga to me. I'm about to tell you why. You're all confusing cold switching with modification of your voice. Joe got an inflection in his voice where you could tell he's talking to somebody of a different level of priority or importance. I don't think there's anything wrong with coach. And he started throwing that buddy around.
Starting point is 02:27:06 It's some Caucasoid on the phone when he starts throwing that buddy around. Hey there, buddy. Yo, Joe, he got it. Yo, dog. I don't know. Wait, is Buddy in Coleswich? Yes. Absolutely. Nigel, you ain't called my buddy in Jersey City.
Starting point is 02:27:21 I call you, buddy. I mean. Out of habit. I said, buddy, I'll be. Yo, I get it. You got that. You got that. You, dog. So I think,
Starting point is 02:27:33 I don't think, I don't think Mark second. I would say I'm second probably then Mark and then the rest of y'all are just filling. But you, you right after Mark. How? Because I've seen you cut it off. I've seen you cut it off a lot.
Starting point is 02:27:48 It's not cold switching. Yes, it is. That's what we talk about. It can be part of it. You don't have to modify your voice to be code switching. I've seen you get real calm, docile, low talking. Oh, yeah, when a gangsters come around. I've seen you do all of that.
Starting point is 02:28:00 When I'm going around? No. Not when they go around. You get real calm. You're all. You know, let Jim Jones step in the room. Quiet. Hey, Jimmy.
Starting point is 02:28:10 Hey, hey, my big. What are IRS. Yo, big bro. Big bro. We all coach switch around there. I'm like that. I never go with Jim Jones, my big bro. Watch your mouth.
Starting point is 02:28:20 And those are the only niggas I'd probably be co-switch for. You better co-switch for that. Hey, when niggas want to get on that payment plan, it'll be a whole lot of... Nice as hell. Well, can I... Can I speak to my payment officer? Is it all right if I pay this much next month? Take your time. Take your time.
Starting point is 02:28:35 Yeah. I've been in a whole four hours. It's all right. Take your time. Audience, this is why I don't ask fast questions up here, by the way. It's one quick. But that was fun. It'd be fun. The fast questions would be fun. We just drag him.
Starting point is 02:28:46 What else do we need in hip-hop? We still haven't touched any of the more serious. I got the Trace Songs question. What happened? I just heard he got arrested for punching somebody, but I didn't get the backstory. He's such a shady bitch. Then he made that face. That's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 02:29:04 Just asking. Tell us. And is that cold twitching? What? The face? That. The shit that he do. The face, the voice, the tone he puts on when he asks the question, but we've worked with him
Starting point is 02:29:15 long enough to know. We know it's bullshit. Is that cold switch? Not real. I don't think it's cold switching. Not really. Yeah, no. It's a bad person.
Starting point is 02:29:22 It's shady. It's been a piece of shit. Got it, got to go. I saw the same video you saw assuming that you saw the video. Cops came in a club or a nightclub. I don't know where they were, but the cops came in. They arrested him, him and all his people were like,
Starting point is 02:29:35 what is this about? Why are you doing this? What did he do? They said, hey, you assaulted the owner. He said, I want to pay. I want to pay to get out of this. y'all said i could pay they said that was 10 minutes ago that opportunity no longer exists they walked him out it was storming rain he didn't sound like himself he didn't sound like it was new york a voice i was familiar with yeah yeah i didn't see the video he read the headline but his people brought the owner out said look the owner doesn't want to press charges the cops was like too late you don't get to say that to us we spoke to him privately and bye bye yeah well i i'm Alleged.
Starting point is 02:30:14 Well, I can't say a legend. What I took from that. I mean, he was in an album. You got out. It's been a night. What day the week was? That word. Oh, I'm not a journalist.
Starting point is 02:30:25 Yeah. I'm not a journalist. If it was snowing. When I was Saturday. Now, what I took from that was his people talked to my man made it right. However, and, yo, come out here and tell them we good. Yeah, yeah. And they was like, nah.
Starting point is 02:30:39 Too late, yeah. We not, we're not wrong. Because we spoke to him already. That's what the cop made it clear. Like, now, we did it clear. Like, now, we talked to him already. So whatever he's saying now, we don't care about. You coerced him.
Starting point is 02:30:49 Yeah, that part. Yeah. So did that help clear it up for you, Mark, about what happened with Tray songs? What do you think? Why do you think about all? Are you lucky? What happened for it? Again, Mark, my fault.
Starting point is 02:31:00 No, I don't step when you. No, no, no. I got two days to talk. My runway is not that. It's not that long. So you get it. All right. You guys.
Starting point is 02:31:06 Yeah. I don't know. If you say. But my pockets is, though. If you say, if you say, you're not. And I'm not paying for a lot of things. That's how you hands to be smart, nigger. Y'all got more money than you brainyack, man.
Starting point is 02:31:17 Get a flip. I'm going to. This is crazy. Crazy. Yeah. You should learn from me. And my Patreon is crazy, too. Crazy.
Starting point is 02:31:23 Yeah. Saloo. I can show you. All right. My phone. We got it. You get money. Let me see.
Starting point is 02:31:28 No. You owe me some brain. I want to see it, actually. Actually, I do want to see it. I want to see it. I want to see it. I want to see. I'm not.
Starting point is 02:31:35 I'm not going to say. Wow. I'm not sure. You can go switched. That was a cool. I'll show this thing Let me see Let me see shit
Starting point is 02:31:42 No Not right now Not in front of this nigga I got you I show you privately Look at your mouth I'm gonna talk about you I'm gonna be
Starting point is 02:31:49 A mannie If he shows something crazy On his Patreon Yeah I'm with you I'll duff this nigga out Because he might have kept Some of them
Starting point is 02:31:56 From the incident A little shit Wait wait You got the privacy screen I can't see Yeah I'll show you guys Talk keep talking
Starting point is 02:32:02 How do you feel about Do you have any thoughts On the Trace on stuff At all? I mean What I hear you say He didn't look like himself
Starting point is 02:32:06 That concerns me I'm always concerned when I hear celebrities, that part of it. You know, it sounds like a minor charge if they've already, if your theory is correct, then it sounds like it won't be. Oh, that's cute. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:32:17 Oh, shit. That's cool. And that's what this was, and you know, Ikeen, that nigga cut it your numbers. See, that's why showing your numbers can get tricky. Yeah. Showing your numbers. Let me see yours now.
Starting point is 02:32:31 Let me see yours now. We're doing a broadcast. Let me see yours. Showing your numbers get tricky when something. That's a cute little day. Yeah, it's good. It's good. A little outfit.
Starting point is 02:32:40 So if your theory is right, then I think when the charges are going to get dropped anyway, he may catch a disorderly, they'll drop it. I don't think there's going to be a big legal matter for him. But when people get to the stage where they could pay and get out and they don't, I'm worried about it's more like the drugs or alcohol or whatever things could be at play. That's the thing I just want to keep an eye on.
Starting point is 02:33:00 But I don't think it's going to be a big deal at all. I think it's going to go away real fast. Tray songs is one of the homies anytime I see him. What I will say is there's a number. another side that's always shown in the news. If I were him, I would be looking to have a smooth run of just no stories. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:33:20 I concur. That'd be great. Yeah. Because any of the stories, like, they've been out there. It's been a lot of shit. There's a lot of shit. Yeah. So then people don't know when to take your good news or when to take your bad.
Starting point is 02:33:31 Like, he has some stories that broke like, hey, these charges dropped and it was dismissed. And then the next week is a bad story with something else. It's like, isolate the things. time for your good stories to rock. Yeah, I agree. I tell you, he didn't sound like himself at all. He did. He did not.
Starting point is 02:33:45 Like, even in talking. It sounded like he was on something. Yeah. I don't want to put that on him. I don't know that to be the case. It just talks about how it sounded. People, so I spoke to a source who was there. Okay.
Starting point is 02:33:57 Who said he was, I think, quote, he was bugging. Brian McKnight family guy. His everywhere. Oh, God. Actually, yes. No, but they say he said he was that. He didn't seem like himself. Again, they used more strong language,
Starting point is 02:34:12 but the idea was he just didn't seem like himself. And maybe that's unfair. And maybe that's unfair to even, even for me to say on the platform this big, because in the night life, most people aren't themselves. So I guess that's not what I'm trying to say. It didn't sound like a familiar that's not.
Starting point is 02:34:29 Yes. It didn't sound like he was tipsy. It didn't sound like it was a drunken night. That's my non-expert opinion. Yeah. That's all I'm saying. People be drunk. You go out, you drink, you have a good time, you get arrested.
Starting point is 02:34:41 It wasn't that, though. Or you might not have. You got the slurry void. It wasn't anybody not the same kind of drunk. That's true. It's true. What's you drinking? And we might not have been around him enough times when he's drunk to assess how he acts when he's drunk.
Starting point is 02:34:55 So I don't want to put nothing else on. Yeah, I don't know the story. I wasn't there. But I just hope he's okay. And I hope this gets resolved. What I can say is when them officers give you a chance to pay. To not be processed. Just pay.
Starting point is 02:35:08 Pay. Right then and there. Pay. That don't mean for you to, that don't mean that you got time to go think about it, see what they're going to do on the pump fake and then come back and say, hey, you offer me the chance to pay. That's not how that goes. I've been in that same situation a few times and fucked it up.
Starting point is 02:35:24 Know what happens to? New York has less leeway than a lot of places. And niggas don't know that until you get to New York. So if you kind enough to get somebody. You just say that. You got to take advantage of it. Like, no lot. It's true.
Starting point is 02:35:40 You're absolutely right. Like that said, I want to address real quick. Go ahead. Hey, I want to just send my thoughts and prayers. Not anything bad, but to Ka Sinat. I mean, he just put out a video saying that he's been, you know, mental health is real, you know, and he, you know, he just wants to be a creator and he's been dealing with a silent battle. I'm sorry, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 02:36:01 You've been dealing with a silent battle. And I want to just remind Kai Sinat, man, you take as much time as you need it. have changed a lot of people's lives. You have inspired a lot of people, even older creators as myself. You know, I want to send a love to you. Every time I see you as love, so, you know, staying strong, get better, and, you know, we'll be here waiting for you to see what you create next. I can play now.
Starting point is 02:36:22 I'm going to be on my laptop right now. And I appreciate everybody who's been sending me birthday wishes, and today is my birthday. So I felt like it was a perfect day to be transparent and honest with you guys. A few days ago, I spread awareness on mental. health and how important it is to take care of yourself? It's my first time hearing this and I'm not finished with what he's saying. This sounds like somebody
Starting point is 02:36:48 that took their time. It's well thought out. Got some money behind them. Shit is at stake. It don't sound like flying off the hip time. In content world, niggas be thinking it's flying off the hip time all the time. And all the time, it's not.
Starting point is 02:37:04 It's cool sometimes. Most times. But all the time it's not. A lot of times to fly off the hip be coordinated. Like, you get what I'm saying? Like, even that part be organized chaos. I don't say coordinated, but sometimes, though. Niggis know what you're doing.
Starting point is 02:37:19 I know what you're saying. But sometimes it's good to, it's good to, yes, this is great. And I'm 17 seconds in. And honestly, for the past few months I've been struggling with mental health out of self-doubt and fright of pursuing goals that I really want to achieve. And the reason I've really been in my head is because I just want to. to do more. I've gained to realize that I'm a true creator and I'm very passionate about
Starting point is 02:37:42 creating. And I have other goals and things that I just want to achieve and do more of. And I would love to show you guys what I've been working on for the past few months through my more personal page which is KC3 hidden.
Starting point is 02:37:59 I am going to go private soon on that page. So whoever gets in gets in. No Joe Biden. You know that sometimes it is important to take care of your mental health. And honestly, it's been getting better. It has. But out of frustration and fear, I've just been in my head for some reason.
Starting point is 02:38:17 I've never had this feeling before. But I want it to be known that I truly want to create. And I don't know if I'm getting mature or I'm just looking. You are. Very. But I am so passionate about creating. in general. I'm excited to show you guys what's going on. Thank you. I'm really excited for Kai. I also feel really bad that you know you are getting mature. Way more mature than you should
Starting point is 02:38:50 have to be right this second. Yep. Yeah. Like it ain't right. It's not fair. Being that young, that age, holding so much power, being tied to so many powerful people, being responsible for generating millions and millions is an understatement. The high end of millions for so many different people carrying the weight of your entire crew when anybody makes a mistake, it falls on you, you make a mistake, cameras are on you. There's a lot that, I think about him a lot. How old is he?
Starting point is 02:39:23 22. He's into early 20s. To be running a billion dollar empire at your early 20s. Again, I don't know if he's. He has a billion dollars, but I'm sure his... He don't, but he's 22. No, I'm just saying, he got a couple hundred million dollar net worth or... 24.
Starting point is 02:39:39 In his hands. He might not have it where it's his net worth, but, yo, you're responsible. I'm sure upward of 20, 30 different families... He grosses it for a lot of people. Yes. Yes, that's what I mean. Like, yo, and you're responsible for other people's families eating so you can't even take a day off or you can't even get to sit down and think for yourself.
Starting point is 02:39:58 He can't even... He can't even not know why... L.A. That's a stress. Like, he's in the spot where, you know, there is nothing that you could do that's not going to get you smoked out of a lot of pressure. Yeah. So, again, I think a bunch of us at our older ages and what
Starting point is 02:40:13 life experiences. Keep us and us. Bro, we're old enough to be that boy's father. And I don't think many of us could handle that shit. Like, he's handling that shit like a trooper. Kai, we love you, man. We love you. We love you.
Starting point is 02:40:29 We support you. You're in my prayers. I love the transparency route. I love somebody as big as you pause coming back to get honest with the fan base. Yo, I'm starting a personal page now. I want to get into me and who I am and how I feel and my feelings are changing about things
Starting point is 02:40:47 because I'm getting old. I absolutely love it. Hats off the cost of that, man. Hats off. Joe, since we're in this kind of heavy turn, maybe it's time to do some RIPs. Good time. I think the biggest headline, the last couple of days has been Rob Reiner.
Starting point is 02:41:05 Tragically, and I'm still stunned by this, to be honest. Rob Reiner was killed a few days ago, and his wife, reportedly by his son. There's a lot of complex things going on because of mental health issues, but he has been arrested. His bail has been set.
Starting point is 02:41:23 Right now, he's not mentally fit to see a judge, so he'll get his due process. The night before, according to reports they had been together at Conan O'Brien's Christmas party. The next day there are reports that they had an argument. What we know as a fact is that he's the only person of interest, that he's the only person who's been charged, and we know that both of their throats were cut.
Starting point is 02:41:45 It's an absolute tragedy on all levels. I remember in 2016 when they did a movie together, which was loosely based on his son's drug journey. slash mental health journey. I watched a lot of the interviews from that time. They did a lot of revealing, a lot of healing, a lot of conversation. I was actually excited and encouraged
Starting point is 02:42:10 to see where they were. So to see any of this happening right now is an awful tragedy. And this could never not be tragic. But I think for a lot of us, it's especially tragic because of who Rob Reiner has been to so many people. There's just not a lot of good people in Hollywood
Starting point is 02:42:25 whose reputation stay good for a long time. Well, and if you don't know nothing about Rob Reiner and his wife, and Carl Ryan. I mean, if you're a parent. Yeah. That's what I say. There's no way for this not to be a tragedy.
Starting point is 02:42:35 Yeah. This is, go ahead. I'm sorry. No, no, you're 100% right. It's disturbing even like listening to it almost. I know. No, I agree with you.
Starting point is 02:42:42 When I heard this. The holidays. Yeah. The way that it's being reported that the murder happened, like that type of stabbing. You know what they say about stabbing. Yes. Like, it's just.
Starting point is 02:42:57 I still can't wrap my head around it. Me either. Even if, and, you know, Not to get gruesome, but I mean, you hear gunshots, you hear heat of passion, you hear, you think gun, but that kind of gruesome crime to your parents and both of them is something that I can't wrap my head around. I'm hoping to get more information to make it make sense, but I'm struggling to even have a narrative of how it could have played out that way.
Starting point is 02:43:19 I've heard him say in earlier interviews that they've had intense arguments, and he has said, like, you know, I'm out of control when I'm get upset, the son. But I never, I don't think anyone could have ever. My brain be so far away from your kids killing you that when the story was reported, I was really perplexed as town, because it first came out, Rob Reiner and his wife found deceased an house. That was the only thing that came out. And I'm sitting like, well, damn, how could that happen?
Starting point is 02:43:48 Right. It never, that's how far away that thought is for me. And, you know, for us, we often think about somebody broken house on some trying to steal. some robbery, some money, some, you know what I mean? You don't necessarily think it was a personal thing, especially somebody in your family that might have committed it immediately. Right. We'll go into somebody was stealing.
Starting point is 02:44:14 Or somebody was trying to, you know, rob you because you're rich. That was my first song. Me too. Me too. And so, you know, obviously just sending prayers to everyone connected to them, family, friends, fans, to Rob Reiner and his wife, Michelle. And Hollywood. All the actors that actors, that they've helped.
Starting point is 02:44:32 I'm hearing all of the stories come out now just about what Rob Reiner has meant to so many people. I've had, I didn't know Rob Reiner well, but I've had the opportunity to interview him and sit with them, and he's just as kind and generous as you have probably heard that he was. And when you talk to other actors about what he's done for them, like you said,
Starting point is 02:44:50 it's been incredible. And I don't want people to underestimate how big of a giant he was. For some people, he was just the TV giant. He was Meathead. He was Mead and Mike Stivick on All in the Family, which he got a role. 23 years old did for eight years
Starting point is 02:45:04 and would be enough to make him a legend. To cement him. Right. But then he goes into Hollywood as a director and makes uh... spinal tap. You start with the spinal tap.
Starting point is 02:45:14 Right. Which is the template for mockumentary. You don't have the office without. Right. Exactly. Then he did the sequel to that, right? But then you talk about, I mean, God, stand by me.
Starting point is 02:45:26 Stand by me. Princess Bride. Harry met Sally. Few good men. When Harry met Sally. And a few good men. Misery. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:45:32 I mean, Joyce. I mean, I don't, I mean, when we talk about the pantheon of extraordinary directors, I mean,
Starting point is 02:45:39 he's up there with, right, Wolf of Wall Street. I mean, and when you talk about people who. They did Wolf of Wall Street too? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:45:47 Yeah. Yeah. He's a giant. I mean, obviously he's the son of Carl Reiner, but most people who are the son of people as big as Carl Reiner
Starting point is 02:45:56 don't match. They don't match it. They don't come close. He exceeded in many ways. you know, his family gifts or whatever, you know, he was extraordinary, man. And I'm so upset for his oldest child who he had with Penny Marshall, who passed away five years ago from cancer, I believe. She had cancer and she passed away. So, I mean, to lose two parents so soon as tough.
Starting point is 02:46:22 But just to see the entire family dealing with this tragedy, I'm sending so much heart-thel-love. And not to cut you up, because you're the greatest in the world at this. I defer to you at all times. But and they say the daughter is the one that had to come in there and like are you kidding? Oh my God. I can't even imagine.
Starting point is 02:46:43 I can't even imagine. So as if you're not dealing with enough to have the president, and I ain't about to politicize this, I ain't even about to really highlight all of that. But to then have that statement be put out by the leader
Starting point is 02:46:58 and frontman of a country is disgusting. It's despicable to me. It's nasty. You niggas that voted for him. Yes. These were the types of things on the minds of people that opposed that.
Starting point is 02:47:13 And told you. And told you. And the crazy part is he could do shit like this every single day of the week. They'll still defend him. Yep. At some point, like, cool,
Starting point is 02:47:26 you make mistakes in life. Like, yo, dog, I ain't going to lie. I did that. I'm regretting it now. I respect that. I respect, yo, we all make mistakes in life. For you to just stand on your square and not say, yo, that was a bad judgment call that I made.
Starting point is 02:47:41 It's crazy to me. I look at them worse than how damn they look at him. See, and that's not, that's not, and I'm not, again, I don't want to make this about it. Yeah, yeah. It ain't American to me. No, it's not leadership. What they think American mean and what I think it mean is two different things.
Starting point is 02:47:55 It's different. I agree with that. Yeah, it was disgusting. Disgusting. It's one thing to have political disagreements. You know, I'm one of the people that says, look, when people die, we don't have to pretend that we love them. If he wanted to say that they have to Rob Reiner died, he was a crazy, stupid liberal, do your thing, right? But to see someone brutally murdered in the bed and then to blame the brutal murder on their political.
Starting point is 02:48:18 On their political police. When there's absolutely no basis for that other than you're just pulling out of your ass, to me is the disgusting part. Let's say this. Let's say you did feel that way. you don't say it in a position of leadership this is what leadership is you have tact you have decorum
Starting point is 02:48:35 you have discernment that is what leaders should show and express it's what the obamas did that's what mad presidents did whether we liked them or not George Bush would have never done no shit like this oh yeah but I mean the Obama did it specifically with Rob right and by the way Michelle Obama
Starting point is 02:48:49 yeah Michelle Obama they spoke and Barack Obama were supposed to have dinner with him that night that they were killed so they were especially shocked by it and they issued a beautiful statement about Rob Reiner. I think it's on X collectively on President Obama's page.
Starting point is 02:49:05 But yeah, I think they modeled what you're supposed to say. I think they got Rob Reiner right, but also just leadership. You don't have to do that as a leader of a country. Yeah. You don't do that as a leader. You don't do that as a person. As a leader of the baseball team. You don't know any fucking thing what we're talking about. You don't do that just as a person. Niggas leader of the free world, my nigga, you do dumb shit like that.
Starting point is 02:49:27 Come on, bro, and they'll defend them. They'll defend them time and time and time again. No matter who he insults, no matter who he berates and belittles, they will defend this nigger time and time again. That shit is disgusting. The body's not even in the ground. Yeah, what are you talking about? Body's not even in the ground.
Starting point is 02:49:42 Rob, sorry. Rob, right? Rest and peace. Rest and peace. And Michelle. And Michelle. And Michelle, singer, Reiner. Yes.
Starting point is 02:49:49 And while we're on the rest in peace train, uh, Carl Carlton passed away. One of the greats. If y'all don't know him by name, you know bad ma'amma jama. You know. True indeed. You know, you know, uh, everlasting love. You know, you know two of his big, big, big hits.
Starting point is 02:50:08 That's your era is. You know. It is. Um, and a R&B giant, a soul giant. You're a bad manma jama, nigger let it. We're telling you. Yeah. Bigging you up.
Starting point is 02:50:21 Just as fine as you could be. It's cool, bro. And I'm clipping that. That'd be the last. Enough. Enough of that. That's right. Is that hate?
Starting point is 02:50:30 Yes. It's only room to compliment you up here. Wait, come out. Is that hate a producer? Hate. Or both? Disguise as producing. That's cool.
Starting point is 02:50:39 All right. Because if she was doing that to you, it would fly. No. It would not. No, it wouldn't. No, it would. Oh, shit. Flip does it to you.
Starting point is 02:50:50 No, he does not. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. Your word? Are you crazy? Yo, you like that, nigga. You know, yo, you, yo, you're the most given, most thoughtful most, you'm saying,
Starting point is 02:51:04 the whole entire planet, baby? Hey, let me tell you something. What, where'd be nitty would be mad at me if I ain't come up here and say how great you are, boy? That's facts. Oh, shit. That's facts. You don't got a mean bone in your body. It ain't a fact that you're so beautiful.
Starting point is 02:51:15 He do not a mean bone in his body, first number one. Like, that's just an opinion that you're so beautiful. We better say it because we niggas. You've been a little receptive of that type of compromise as of late. You've been a little receptive. You good? I've been getting compliments my whole life. Everything good at home?
Starting point is 02:51:28 Speak right. Speak right. You good at home? I'm straight at home. Okay. I'm like out of six o'clock, nigga, at my house. Ah, six. I see it.
Starting point is 02:51:38 5.45, bitch. Listen, it's December. It's a good time to be straight at home. And December's a good time to be straight at home. It is, yo. Seriously. I want to join in on the joke, but it's December, man. We know you can.
Starting point is 02:51:48 It's okay. It's okay. I love you. You're talking about my home situation? I'm not. You're talking about my own situation to try to get the fans riled up again start talking about my family? I don't know. You just said I'm not going to be...
Starting point is 02:52:00 Is that what you know? Flip exposes. I hear, I hear my girl. There must be something going on. The cast must know stuff we don't. Yeah, but no. Nigger, my head fucking business. You don't want to talk to us
Starting point is 02:52:13 about your personal business. I try not to. I mean, that don't matter. If y'all say something up here, it starts a narrative, and then they go. You know, I'm missing. I'm not mad at it.
Starting point is 02:52:21 I'm not mad at it. Because you create a lot of them. Some I leave off here. Wait I hear I hear I know You're checking
Starting point is 02:52:38 photo around quick I can hear sucking the teeth from the whole right side of the room Kikiki you're
Starting point is 02:52:45 you suck of your teeth but you know I got the club house called nigga you say Hey you think Hey just so you know
Starting point is 02:52:53 I still go on here sometimes So you want to play with me today shit You better tell Mark about something That's something
Starting point is 02:52:59 I don't know Don't suck no teeth though He didn't talk about it yet? He probably, I don't know. He did. I ain't talk about it. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 02:53:09 Anyway, we are in the middle of the rest of the piece. I was about to say, yeah. Sorry. Carl Carlton, great singer from Detroit, early on his career real fast, you know, was sort of compared to Stevie. People thought he wouldn't be able to break his own kind of path out because of how he sounded tonally.
Starting point is 02:53:24 He became his own artist, made big hits, and is one of the great legends. There's a third person that you know better than me, Joe, and that's Peter Green. Your dog, man. Some pivotal roles, said that man. Your friend. I'm seeing Peter Gordon.
Starting point is 02:53:39 And I knew more. I don't like Bonn with Mark. I don't. I knew that he was going to do the most sentimental, best heartfelt resting pieces ever. And then for the white man that I loved that died. Right after black greatest. He makes a hard. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:53:57 Pause. And Rob Reiner was a great white. Rob Reiner, but you started with that. Then went to the great black. And then bounced back. actor. You are cynical motherfucker. Listen, my man from the mask. Peter Green died,
Starting point is 02:54:10 yo, and I was distraught about it. I'm not going to lie to y'all. When that came across my news feed, I was fucked up. Peter Green, usual suspects Peter Green. You might not know the name, you know the face. I didn't know the name.
Starting point is 02:54:26 Whole fiction, Peter Green. The mask. Yeah, Matt. So that's all the face. Oh, him. Peter Green, the the dopest bad guy in any B-Mese. movie you ever saw if you were black. If you were a black person, the white bad guy that did that, he was that shit.
Starting point is 02:54:40 You know him if you said. Peter fucking Green died, yo. It just made me stop and be appreciative of life. Life. Two, there's so many people I love that will never know I love them. There's so many people that ESPN
Starting point is 02:54:57 was doing a Stuart Scott tribute over the fucking weekend. It's just too many people that I hold in such high guard that you may not think of on a day-to-day basis and then gone. Gone. Yeah. That Peter Green shit fucked me up. Rest in peace to Peter
Starting point is 02:55:14 Green. My thoughts and prayers to his family, friends, his fans, I can't be the only one. I can't be the only one. Listen, there's a great piece out there about them filming the you motherfucker lineup scene from usual suspects. Some of the best material you'll ever hear just about them
Starting point is 02:55:34 Improving and going off script and just the way that they pulled off such mastery. You have to watch it yourself. I'm doing a horrible job of telling you. But Peter Green, I was hurt. We was hurt behind that. Every death hurts. Peter Green hurt a lot. Rest in peace to Peter Green, man.
Starting point is 02:55:52 You see the IMDB on this motherfucker? I did. I did. I did. Crazy. He was never now working before yes, Jules. I don't. Ill-timed.
Starting point is 02:56:05 I'm working on my community. I'm working. I'm working on, man. I'm not the best version of me yet. Anyway, rest in peace to Peter Green. Damn, man. Yeah, yeah. I'm queuing up something.
Starting point is 02:56:16 Yeah, yeah, yeah. I'm queuing up something. You got to do it. Yeah, no, sorry. Let's put a little something, please. Come on, man. Yo, and my heart goes out to you, man. This is just a, man, listen.
Starting point is 02:56:33 If you lost somebody out there, I'm with you. I'm praying for you. Holidays can get tough sometimes, man. I can't believe they took them people from us. Lighten the moon a little bit. Talk to one. Here we go, man. We always say we're going to get to the sad stuff in hour three as if it'll help you deliver it.
Starting point is 02:57:59 It doesn't. It doesn't. We just prolong it and still feel the same. Did we all see Mayor Kingstown this week? Yes. I did. Hooy. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:58:11 We might have been wrong. Yeah. We might have been wrong. I'm here to fight it. Yes. You think they're still going to take the brother out? Spoiler alert, spoiler. Spoiler alert.
Starting point is 02:58:22 I was wrong about what episode we were at last week. I don't know what I saw. Yeah, this was episode eight. There are two more episodes to follow. I thought seven was eight. I fucked it up. Sorry, I'm not a journalist. This was episode eight.
Starting point is 02:58:36 We know it because boy, was it a goodie, number one. And boy, was it the shortest one that you've seen all season. It did feel short. It did. It was short. It was short. It was short. This one might have.
Starting point is 02:58:46 have been fucking 43 minutes or something like that. But no complaints. Yeah, no complaints. I stand by. This is the best season of Mayor Kingstown ever. For sure. I don't care what happens in the next two episodes. This is the best. This is one. And two,
Starting point is 02:59:03 dog, we're sitting here throwing shit at a wall giving our predictions for the show and how it could progress. So when we say the brother is going to die, yes, we think the brother's going to die. But if he don't, if you kill his fucking wife, then you know what we're saying.
Starting point is 02:59:20 Somebody from the brother has to die for this to go where it's got to go. So yes, I was wrong. The brother, well, as of now, I'm wrong. The brother is alive. But that scene with the wife and the baby and the phone call. I paused the show. I paused it because I wasn't prepared for them that show none of that. I ain't think he was going to do it.
Starting point is 02:59:42 I'm like, nah. The phone call was the crazy shit when he was like, Yo, what do you want? He's like, I got it. Like, ain't no deal to make now. There's no deal to make. I gave you the deal. I gave you an option.
Starting point is 02:59:55 You chose to do it that way. Cool. I got to make you feel it. I never thought that he would kill the child. I never thought that. I thought he might kill the child, but they don't usually do that on TV. I loved how the show went about showing, but not showing what happened. Because I wasn't ready for none of that.
Starting point is 03:00:14 I don't care if we're on Paramount Sunday. Yeah. Let me hear the noise. That's it. Now, what I will say is homeboy escaped. Everybody knows that he escaped. Everybody that Mike goes to talk to says he's coming for you. He's looking for you.
Starting point is 03:00:31 He's not out to do nothing else but fuck with you. And you don't have somebody watching your house. Oh, come on. They burnt your house down with home boys still in there, the meth head dude. Yeah. And then you don't have nobody. watching your brother's house with the wife and kid there? Do what do you want me to say about it?
Starting point is 03:00:55 No, no, no, no, no. You're wrong. The wife and kid left. The wife and kid was out of the sister's crib. They was in Ohio. That's why they split up. She left to get away. I'm wrong.
Starting point is 03:01:06 You're right. Wherever she was, I'm putting somebody there. Especially when, you know, once Homeboy left to jail and you see that, all right, that shit that he did. did to jam your brother up with the grape when them dudes and then they saved you. I'm saying grape. Yeah, yeah, yeah. We know, we know.
Starting point is 03:01:23 But Mike is the one that told him, yo, that's the setup. That's all by design. That's the part that got me because Mike even said, yo, he's gone. He's not here no more. So if you, Mike, and you thinking he's going, everybody else is telling him, no, he's not going. He's staying here for you. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:01:39 Your brother's the safest he could be now. Right. Your brother's safe. You're saying he's gone. The next stop. is, yo, we got to go check on the sister. Check on the wife and the baby. I'm with his sister's crew.
Starting point is 03:01:52 I'm with freeze. There's a few things. One, how if your Mike would you even know that he knew your sister was gone and moved to another state? Oh, he didn't have to know that. You don't have to know that. You don't have to know that he'd know that. But the fact that Mike know how this nigga move and you know you want to, you want
Starting point is 03:02:09 to hurt me. You want to get to me. You want to hurt me. But if I'm telling everybody else, because they all like, yo, Mike, where's he at, where's he at? he's coming for you and he's like nah he's gone already where is going you think he just went up to canada and just laid low no so what's the next if you're not attacking me here you're not attacking my brother in jail how else can you attack us shorty you not think all right you right in our brain but if you're looking at it from that perspective he don't know that
Starting point is 03:02:43 you moved your sister-in-law away and if he does know that, he don't know exactly where to go find him. So what he did was got on the phone, he called the black girl and said, get out of there right now. Right. Because those are the people that you think he immediately can touch. You don't think that he can get to your sister-in-law
Starting point is 03:02:59 that's living in another state with her sister and all this other shit. That's not going to be on your brain. But it should be though. Then you slept. But it should be. It should be on the list of things in your brain. Maybe not number one, but it should be on the list. And number two, two, two, two things. have happened. The black dude
Starting point is 03:03:15 Moses. That's your number one priority at this point. And until you go in the room, Bunny is damn near on his deathbed. So you got so many different things going on where the nigger Callahan could have got it off where you not prioritizing an order of
Starting point is 03:03:31 that. I just think that, I don't think that he really was sleeping. I just think the niggas the busiest nigga in Kingston. I still think you're sleeping on that. You can't sleep on tomorrow. You can't sleep on him. I'm not disagreeing with you. So it's, it's prioritizing.
Starting point is 03:03:47 Yeah, cool, you're right. What's my man named from Detroit? Moses. Moses. Yeah, he is high up on the list. We got to worry about this. But now that you found out that this motherfucker has escaped and you know what he's on, we got to reshuffle the priorities a little bit right this second.
Starting point is 03:04:03 I don't want us to spoil this any more than we already have for some of the people that are hitting the 15 seconds skip button because they haven't watched it yet. I'm a lunatic with it. So I'm going to watch it. My final question, though, on this. I got one final after that, too. Oh, that's the next. That's not me close. I'm with the school for closing.
Starting point is 03:04:19 You go first. Oh, then I'll go first. So you can close. Thank you. Do y'all think Rob is dead? I think they left up and ended for a reason. I don't think he's dead. I don't think he's dead either.
Starting point is 03:04:29 And when he comes to and finds out what was the setup, he on their ass. See, I think you could get away from it. I don't think he's dead, though. I think Rob's wife was in the house, came back, saw him in the car, came, all the other shit. I don't think he's dead because they would show him dead. And then, um, I also, your thing was Kyle dies. I don't think Kyle dies.
Starting point is 03:04:53 I think, I think Callahan is turning Kyle into a maniac. Y'all remember when Mike drove Kyle to jail? Uh-huh. His biggest thing was, don't turn into me. Don't turn into a killer. Remain who you are. I think Kyle is about to be a straight, stone cold lunatic, bro. Yeah, I can see that.
Starting point is 03:05:11 Especially now after him. That phone? Yeah. What? I think he's about to be a lunatic. My final question to y'all, do y'all think that it's even possible that they tie up everything that they've given us in this season by the season? In two episodes? No.
Starting point is 03:05:27 No. Two more. That was eight? That was eight. That was ten. Is it pot? They've done such a great job with all of these different avenues. I think.
Starting point is 03:05:39 Like, I don't think you want to close it all. You want to leave some. Yeah. I was like. You can close a couple things. You got to close and start. You got to close and start. If the season end, then we don't get into the bald dude and the murders that him and Homeboy.
Starting point is 03:05:54 If we, the Mike's partner, the sergeant, bald dude. If we don't hear no more about that, Ian. I'm going to be like, come on, dog. You're not. Ian's tied it up. Stupid questions. And that's where, I'm telling you, that's where I think Rob being alive coming out in the finale. That does make sense.
Starting point is 03:06:14 Now we go into next season with that. So real quick, because I haven't watched any of this. Not me neither. So. And we just closed it. Go ahead. That's why I'm moving past the recap. I know you are. I love that.
Starting point is 03:06:28 Mark went out there, called his other job, came back doing this one. He raised. He was good. I left the phone here. I went to pee. No, no, I'm looking for a new show to watch. I was just going to say, would this be the one? Oh, that's a great show.
Starting point is 03:06:40 Absolutely. It's a few. This is a great show. Is it super violent? No. I wouldn't say super. It's violent, but it's not super. My wife, like, so this would be like a partner show?
Starting point is 03:06:49 Is this? Would y'all watch this with your girls? Yes. My girl loves it. Yeah, my girl loves it. My girl didn't, she turned it down when we first watched it, but then she walked in and me watching it. She's like, why didn't we watch us together?
Starting point is 03:06:58 I would have loved this show. I'm like, my girl loves it. I love that shit. My girl, mad that I watched the whole season of Landman and never said a word. And Land Man just got picked up as season three. As it should. Land Man, that's fine. Is that another one to watch?
Starting point is 03:07:11 Landman. I do you think that Sheridan does. You're pretty much. They gave, speaking to Sheridan, he got a 20 show deal for his billion dollars. 20 shows that he got to come up with. That's crazy. I mean, he's already come up with like eight over a pair of, yeah, that are all solid. Also, I've been saying it for weeks, but my final word on television shows, I couldn't be any more angry to be that late to the morning show.
Starting point is 03:07:38 That shit is good. I tried to tell you last year. I tried to tell y'all. I started me last year. I told you all, niggas, since it started, please watch this show. How far are you?
Starting point is 03:07:47 Pause. I'm still early, man, like episode. I'm on the first season. Okay. I'm on the first season, too. I'm on the first season, too. But I wish I could go back to watch that.
Starting point is 03:07:55 That's one of those shows, though, where it don't take long to see why this is one of the better shows out. Oh, yeah. We took down the whole season this weekend. What are you at? Locked in. Almost, almost caught up. Really?
Starting point is 03:08:09 Really? Yeah, we're almost a four already. How many seasons is it? Four, five. Four, four. Yeah, Ice was saying it a couple weeks ago. From the go. From the whip.
Starting point is 03:08:17 It's a great show. All right, come on. Y'all, I need flip back in the game. Enough TV. All right. Well, no, I'm back in me. You don't get me no fool. I got to order food.
Starting point is 03:08:24 You know, I have to be healthy. That's you being back in the game. I have to be healthy. I have to order some, some, some whole week. Can I get a quick get? So tonight, Wednesday. What you said? Can you get a quickie?
Starting point is 03:08:36 No, nigga. No, let's say quick advice. Quick advice, quick advice. Oh, all right. You didn't say that. I'm articulating it down. Hey, bro, you got somebody to go after this, bro? Stop rush speaking, yo.
Starting point is 03:08:45 We went to outside. Stop rush speaking. Yeah, I got to pick my kid up. Oh, damn. You said that. I can't tell my mom. God, dear me. Can't talk about me, problem.
Starting point is 03:08:55 Malcolm already drove away. Word. No, he stole a car, too. Yeah. Get out. Get out. Get your little. Right. No, so tonight.
Starting point is 03:09:08 Wednesdays is his airs is my birthday and I don't like to do shit for birthdays right my wife's happy birthday thank you to jr as well jr birthday yes yes yes you're duck ass nigger you made all this fuss about my birthday and going to hide yours damn son actually last week we talked about I said my birthday's next week we did we had a whole conversation about it well you don't know whenever we're listening to you're sitting right there we're talking about you're talking about you it's fine
Starting point is 03:09:29 it was late in the day um anyway what is something that I can do that simple that'll please my one First of all, is it unfair that I got to do something on my birthday? Yes. Yeah. I don't think it's... I think it's your mentality of what can I do to please, but, well, first of all, that's crazy. Man, it's fair.
Starting point is 03:09:49 You shouldn't be thinking about that on your birthday. You shouldn't have to. That's a good way. She wants me to have a good day, but she doesn't... I don't think she believes that I really just want to sit at home and watch YouTube. They never believe that a good day can be just nothing. Because they care more about our birthdays than we do. Yes.
Starting point is 03:10:04 us we'd be cool doing just regular shit. And to them because they care so much about their birthdays, they expect us to care so at least a portion of that about our birthplace. And they're selfish. So they feel like your birthday is their second birthday. So they want to take the pics and make it look like something. And, you know, they want you to feel like that. I mean, I want to, 47.
Starting point is 03:10:27 I want to go to dinner just because, you know, we got a babysitter. I would do that any day. But like, it's nice. Yeah. But I feel like just one activity I can do. that'll make it a birth. You know what I mean? Like we did more than a normal night,
Starting point is 03:10:38 but I don't want to do nothing big. What's the thing that... Wait, hold on, we don't want to get your personal business. What activity you get a little freaky on us? We respect Ms. Mell. Don't you're like that. You're the only person.
Starting point is 03:10:50 No, you're the only person. Jackals. He's not the only person. You framed it. Yeah, I was thinking of a social activity. How much you want to spice it up? But, you know, Yo.
Starting point is 03:11:05 You know, tell him J.B.3. I would draw the question. Listen, I'll keep it on the dinner that you said you wanted to have. I know I probably said this a million times. Oh, Corey, I meant to talk to you too. But there was a gentleman that came to my birthday dinner. His name was Tony. He was there with his wife.
Starting point is 03:11:25 Had a beautiful suit on. He owned a restaurant. That is a little drive. South Jersey? Yeah, it's in North Brunswick or somewhere. Oh, yeah, yeah. I'll go that far. I'll go that far.
Starting point is 03:11:33 It's called Labibis. And if you just go and he's going to recognize you anyway. But he's going to show you and your wife the time of your life. He's going to pull out the red carpet, anything you need. He probably won't take a dime from you while giving you the whole menu. Like if just on the dinner side, it's worth the trip. It's a dope spot too you said, right? Oh, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 03:11:58 Did you like it? You went? No, I heard it's dope. Dashing it went. It's all the way. I wouldn't even recommend it to as many people as I tell him to go out here if it wasn't that. And he's such a great guy, family business. He came to my shit, like I said.
Starting point is 03:12:11 He's going to get you the whole menu. The menu has things that you don't. It sounds like an ad now, so I'm not trying to do all that. But the BBs, just on the dinner side, totally worth the trip. Y'all might have sold me. I mean, that might just be a lot. That's not that far. Yeah.
Starting point is 03:12:26 It's far for you. It ain't crazy. Far from. Well, I don't have rich house worth all of these millions and millions of dollars yet. And hitting up in the hills of Jersey. Well, you don't have a rich house yet. He's just coming. Hitting up in the hills of Jersey.
Starting point is 03:12:37 I'm not hidden in any hills. Yet. I mean, yeah. And you bought that crepe before you got here, too. So you vinsed it. Sat on that, yeah. Patriot. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 03:12:48 Not your little. I'm a little what? He said your little cute shit. Oh, yeah, I'm fine with that. You know, life is lifeing. Life is life. I'm appreciative. Everybody don't mind being close to their neighbors, though.
Starting point is 03:12:59 Like some people They're up there and they're in the shun you get a whooping through that All You say it's a shared elevator What did it say? He shot back Say he got a shared elevator Oh
Starting point is 03:13:18 Please You wish You know Three please See you later You know who you talk about That's a bunch of boy foot shit.
Starting point is 03:13:29 Enough print. Some niggins shit elevators with it. How much money they got? You are? Not your boy. I think we did an amazing job. Great job today.
Starting point is 03:13:40 We covered most of it. Before Mark leaves, I do need the cast's opinion on the Bobby Schmurter jumping in Minnesota. That's all I got for y'all. I don't know the story. I can start a day into that.
Starting point is 03:13:55 You know. It didn't look like the most effective job. It did. Bobby Bunch. Let me look at this video. They couldn't get them. It didn't look like an effective jump. They got some of them.
Starting point is 03:14:04 They got them, but they didn't get it. It was knotted up in the middle. They got you. Yo, brother, do you see how many niggas was on that nigga? That's called getting him. Also known as, that's called getting you. Bobby Schroder ain't the biggest guy. And they got it.
Starting point is 03:14:19 If they would have got him right, he wouldn't have got up out of it. No, they didn't do that. No, they were not saying that. That's what I'm saying. Oh, we agree with you. Oh, okay. But for what happened. They got, they caught him.
Starting point is 03:14:29 They didn't get him. And it was fucked up. He made it out to be able to make a video the next day saying I look beautiful. And I got my chain back, my charm. So no, they didn't. It's kind of fucked up. Because if you see how they had them, it wasn't really nowhere for him to go. I'm rooting like, yo, damn, my nigga, he can't get up.
Starting point is 03:14:46 No, but if you, if the beginning of the video, the other clip, Bobby punched the guy first, one of the guys first. Because he said the guy, the guy kept touching him. I got that fight in every angle in my phone. And he said the guy Bobby punched him first with them these Somalian niggas they came together
Starting point is 03:15:01 yo heard he came together he's going to these towns and thinking that shit be sweet shit don't be sweet and he started dancing in the hotel
Starting point is 03:15:08 yo he started doing I said Bobby if you don't fuck with Bobby I'm a fuck with Bobby I'm a fuck with Bobby he had the girls
Starting point is 03:15:18 in the background hype with him that's the shit that calls it yo shout he got a it was a article that said
Starting point is 03:15:25 uh he had came there last time and demanding more money he did something that yeah like he didn't he left he didn't deliver and then they said this time
Starting point is 03:15:35 when he got there he had asked for like five grand more than they had already agreed upon and so they said that it was already like some tension they said that the promoter
Starting point is 03:15:43 was going to cancel the show but he didn't want to cancel the show again because now I make your name look fucked up your money in my name I put you on flyers I've promoted you
Starting point is 03:15:51 I got a packed house they expect to see you that's a fact you on bullshit asking me more money on the side, but I can't let it. I got a name out of you. I'm a promoter. He had no choice really but
Starting point is 03:16:01 to pay the five. You got to pay the five. These promoters make they living off of what the flyer says is happening. Reputation, yeah. And you got to talk about smaller markets that don't necessarily get celebrities like that. That's they lick. Because now if
Starting point is 03:16:17 fap comes through to fucking the middle of nowhere, now I can charge $100 a man. Now you got a pack towel 2,000 people at $100 a head and Fab don't show up or XYZ don't show up. Your name look fucked up.
Starting point is 03:16:32 Niggas want their money back, all of that stuff. You can't give it to them. So now Nick, Konda, is extorting you. You know what I'm saying? And you fuck it up for all of the people that make their living, traveling state to state
Starting point is 03:16:44 to where when they don't have our back end, now we don't show up and now we can revolt a certain way. But they got your money. They got what y'all agreed on. Yeah. And you just, not anymore or I'm not showing
Starting point is 03:16:58 that's that I don't know I'm not I'm not a fan of that I'm not I'm not yeah that's crazy so that supposedly allegedly allegedly what took place that that had like tensions running high but it looked like Bobby I'm just watching the video it looked like he jumped into like he wasn't like he wasn't following security like he jumped down right
Starting point is 03:17:12 to confront fans like that didn't have to go down that way no now when I see earlier he had punched a guy and then it was some scuffling going on there and he ended up in the corner oh I see get out the corner the clip I saw he was already in the corner. Yeah, got you, got you, got you, got. That's helpful.
Starting point is 03:17:28 Okay. He ain't on nut, though, man. I mean, he was. Yeah, he came to bike. Yeah. Well, ain't nobody think he was sweet. No. He can't apply.
Starting point is 03:17:36 Nobody ever said that about Bobby Smur. Yeah, but, I fuck with him, man. Glad he got out of there okay. Indeed. That's important. Again, when you travel in state to state, just in those environments, you don't know nobody. It's you and your security. That can get ugly fast.
Starting point is 03:17:49 Away games. Yeah, away games, basically. Is there anything else that we need from you guys anything else you want to pour out of your hearts i think this was an amazing great show yeah this was awesome i had a lot of fun with you guys right see you guys later you did good buddy we hit all the time because there anything happening is there anything breaking before we end i meant to say too yo funk flex your morning voice i cannot be the only one thinking it i didn't hear it

Isn't it in the archives? Yeah, it ain't just the hip-hop heads uplistment. He was in the I'm 97. But again, because they were trying to. So far ahead of my time.
Starting point is 03:19:09 Yeah, he went crazy. Dead summer. He's like, yo, dog, people are on their way. It ain't, it ain't, it ain't what you think is going on right now. They said he was bomb dropping. Like crazy at 7 in the morning. That's a lot. That's a lot.
Starting point is 03:19:22 That's a lot. I'm gonna take it easy on them pause because. because the report came out. Funk Flex is taking over the time slot. He came out and cleared that up quick. He was like, no, I'm just doing a day. I don't believe he's just doing a day. He'll be there for the interim until they figure it out.
Starting point is 03:19:36 He did two days at least. Rory is reporting, child of Rory, that he has an inside scoop on who's getting the gig. By his words. No, it's on the internet mark. It's on the internet flip. No, I'm just saying, I like what you, I like that.
Starting point is 03:19:52 We're not doubt in the story I see how you paved the way I see how you paved the way I just don't know I'm gonna open What's those doors you push And they go like this Revolving
Starting point is 03:20:03 Not revolving The one that you fucking Like the saloon door Yeah yeah yeah You think that every time I do I just love what you do Do you body it Who's the room
Starting point is 03:20:13 Is saying that whoever is getting The gig in his inside scoop Is someone that will quote Get shit shaking And has a lot of movement Huh. And had a cult following. Sorry, and it had a cult following, end quote.
Starting point is 03:20:28 Huh. That's a cult following thing that threw me off the trail, because I was like, there's only a handful of people, right? Yeah. Dr. Umall. I think more people have a cult following than we realize. I think a lot of people have caught following. Nah, I think a lot of people got a cult following.
Starting point is 03:20:44 And we're talking about in New York City. Yeah. Not necessarily, though. That's true, too. Can he relocating, relocating? Oh, that's true. Yeah. Let's see what they can work out well.
Starting point is 03:20:57 Shit, it did. Very few people. I wonder when it'll be a nice. Very few people survive coming in New York radio. Charlemagne relocated and came to New York Radio. I'm just saying, you said it ain't working on it. That's what night then. That worked.
Starting point is 03:21:09 They got Charlemagne name all up in the mix. Boy, they're saying a lot. They are. About this? No, just about like. Radio, shake-offs, what could be coming, what can be. becoming, yeah, his contract.
Starting point is 03:21:22 I wouldn't discount Star. I would. I mean, let me not say I would. I like Star. I'm just saying, I love Star. I think they're just, I think they're going, I think they're going in a younger direction. Yeah, I don't see it.
Starting point is 03:21:33 It's New York City, bro. New York City Morning Show. Yeah, but we're talking about a company that don't care. If you, if you believe that some of that Netanyahu talk and political talk got Ebro off, then you wouldn't bring in a Star. Yes, you would. No, you would not.
Starting point is 03:21:47 Shit. You'd bring somebody uncontroversial. Yeah. No, you won't. Yo, Star is smart enough to know what I can and can't talk about. I'm smart enough to know we could talk about
Starting point is 03:21:59 niggas and bitches and holes all day but we can't talk about certain other things. And I think that's Getshit shaking and a cult following new company. I see them going younger, yo. I mean, it's possible. I'm not disputing that.
Starting point is 03:22:15 Did it go, you think the person's from New York? He knows who it is. Oh, you know who it is? Oh, you know who it is? Oh, tell me, tell me real quick. We don't have to put it on. Oh, you don't know.
Starting point is 03:22:24 You just know it from New York, okay. I thought you didn't, man. I'm not doing it with. All right, well, I can't wait to hear. We're not going to sit around and fucking throw shit out of wall. When it happens, I'll come in and give you a take about it. Until then, I'm having a blast with all of the shakeups

Starting point is 03:23:15 I closed out with what I wanted to close with. Okay. Well, then we don't care. I took classes and paid to learn how to how to close things specifically to seamlessly avoid what you just don't even want. Like here you come, man and the people, huh? I don't know. I think that's something is great Patreon. It's definitely a Patreon.
