Starting point is 00:00:01 The thoughts, views, and opinions expressed by this podcast as well as its hosts, offer entertainment purposes only. I repeat, it is not serious. It is not real. No one is exposing, revealing, indicting, or telling you anything about themselves. Also, we do not encourage you to try this at home. We are trained professionals. Do not have your best interests at heart or our own.
Starting point is 00:00:21 Enjoy the show. Mike check, mic check, one two, one two, salutations. Welcome, welcome. They're still coming in, y'all. the line is all the way around the corner. They're still coming in. Used to be me and six people in the club, but they'd be saying that shit.
Starting point is 00:01:03 Before you understood, the club dynamics of why there was a line outside and nobody inside, oh, those were the days. Those were the days. Your prompt going to the club? I was prompt everywhere in my lifeish, everywhere, even the club. Oh, you're trying to shoot at me.
Starting point is 00:01:18 Nah. No, you're shooting at me. No, you're always on time. No, you're shooting at me. You're saying I was opening the club up, carrying the crates for the DJ. before 10. Oh shit.
Starting point is 00:01:28 Hey, and you with the Brokey jokes. Hey, I ain't mad at it. The couch's on fire today. I wasn't even saying. Yeah, we've been here for like three hours, y'all, so we've been on fire with jokes, man. Parks. Parks is in Turks. He told us he was going on vacation, him and his wife.
Starting point is 00:01:44 Hey, Rem. Parks is in Turks. Quick weekend trip was supposed to come back Monday. And then Monday he hit us and said that he was stranded and Turks. He would not be able to make it back. Do the, whatever the hell he said. Do the Turks. Yeah, do the Turks. Right. You do the Turks.
Starting point is 00:02:03 Turks out there, Turk. Nobody ever gets stuck in Boulder, Colorado. Ever. Ever. Ever. And there's a lot of people in Turks right now. A lot of people in Turks right now. But Park said he's stuck until Friday. Oh, no. Until Friday.
Starting point is 00:02:18 Tees and peace. Tees and peace. Yeah. Turks and Pekles. What? That's what he said. Oh, that's nice. Oh, okay. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:02:30 He'll parts. Nice. Hey, parts. You pulled the move, boy. Listen, I blame these guys. All that fucking prove your worth shit. Holy fucking prove your value shit. It worked, buddy.
Starting point is 00:02:41 But hopefully he's enjoying his vacation. If anybody deserves one, it is parks. That's a fact. In front of mine, my home girl is actually in a plane right now. I had it back from the Turks. Back over here, back home. Friend of yours? New Jersey.
Starting point is 00:02:53 A friend of mine. A friend of mine on a plane currently as we speak right now. That's probably her idea. You didn't know. The plane's up there. She had to give you the it. I have a working theory. You're just trying to shoot at me again.
Starting point is 00:03:05 I was just asking a question. I was asking a question. A friend of mine. Itinerary makes it sound like something else. You tend to her. You could, bro. I'm not even saying nothing. No, you're good, bro.
Starting point is 00:03:19 You're good. Let it go. But I'll be the determining. on if I'm good. That's true. I have a working theory about people that get stranded on vacation.
Starting point is 00:03:34 Because I've heard this story now from about six to seven different people in the last eight months. Hey, I flew somewhere out of country. Flights is fucked up. I'm stranded now. Actually, my BM just told me that.
Starting point is 00:03:51 Save that for another problem. But yeah, I keep hearing this line. And my theory is this. The people that get stranded, they never really trying their best to be unstranded, right? Like, I'm a workaholic. I know what days the gig is. If I get stranded and the schedule is off, I'm busing my ass to try to make it back.
Starting point is 00:04:15 But the people that get stranded, they normally are at the mercy of the airline that they flew on, right? So, like, if you're on Southwest and Southwest cancels for four days or a week, then they say some stupid shit. Like Parks is saying, I can't get back to Friday. Mm-hmm. Shem-hmm. Rather than doing what I always do, which is pulling up the... The jet?
Starting point is 00:04:45 No. Right. Pulling up the website that does comparative pricing. Google flights. Yeah, I pull up the website. I put in where I'm trying to go and any airline that has a flight I buy it
Starting point is 00:04:58 and then I come home No that's what people try to do Like this plane's flying right now But no that's what people talk about. But some people don't want to dig in their pocket And buy the new flight Actually Flip just did this too Last time he was on vacation
Starting point is 00:05:11 Yo I'm stuck out here for two weeks Well yeah if you're just going with Uganda airline or wherever the fuck airline You was on All the flights was messed No you could have purchased a flight And got on. But nobody ever wants to do that.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I didn't know that. Well, two things. I'm not shooting. I'm not shooting. I don't know. You have a lot of money. Two stopping. Two things.
Starting point is 00:05:33 One, it depends on where you stranded at. That'll kind of influence your motivation a little bit. That's true. That's one. And two, sometimes that other flight home might mean going somewhere that's nowhere near you. Like, it's a plane going over there. It's a plane going to Houston. Then you get there and got to wait for a little bit and then catch your flight to Jersey.
Starting point is 00:05:52 It might not be the same your nonstop coming straight here or something. Yeah, I flew into Houston and drove the jersey. I'm getting home. I've done it. I've been stranded out of the country and I just want to get stateside. Yo, you've seen the movie the day after tomorrow?
Starting point is 00:06:08 The dad, flood, daughter, first to go, I got to get to my. That's me. That's me. I'm getting home. I'm getting home to mine. I don't care of you, man, nigga. I'm trying to rush me.
Starting point is 00:06:17 I'm trying to rush what I'm saying. I'm down with you. It depends. I'm not saying. I was in St. kits in January for New Year's. You another one pulled that. I'm stuck like that. I got here. That's y'all's lines, boy.
Starting point is 00:06:28 Donald Trump kidnapped the president of Venezuela and they shut down the Caribbean for everybody. Exactly. Exactly. To America. Like, you couldn't leave. So the only option I had was... What do they have to do with getting to work? You know what you're going to be to swim? Elita Adams got there no matter what. So, Alita Adams had equity.
Starting point is 00:06:46 So then when I got... If I owned some shit, I'd be there. You know what I'm saying? So the only option was the fly to Europe. And so I was like, I could fly to the UK and then fly from the UK to the United States. But I had to be on a plane with my son for like 10 hours. I love you, man, but... Yeah. Yeah, I was just going to wait.
Starting point is 00:07:04 I understand. They opened it up and we got here, but like, that was some shit. I couldn't even fly private back. Not that I would because I can't afford it, but I'm saying, like, there was no option. A lot of us... Parks is on the website, probably looking for two seats seated together to get home. See, that's what I'm saying? Sorry, buddy. Hey, if it means... you got to do like me and ice.
Starting point is 00:07:24 Me and Freeze don't play that shit. If it's one seat in first class and one seat in 37E, hey, all ladies know what to do. Get the hiking. We got to make it home. So she, I have nothing to do what he's saying. I'm playing that shit on their birthdays, boy.
Starting point is 00:07:40 Joe, what if it's only one seat? Should Parks leave REM there? Huh? And what if it's only one seat, should he leave her there and just come? Yeah. Yeah. If you're asking me,
Starting point is 00:07:49 which nobody ever asked me. Because they know, Because they know my brain is going to say something just that I, yeah, of course. You leave your girl in you fly. That's what you would do. You would do. You leave her in Turks and fly home. You leave your girl in the foreign country and come to work.
Starting point is 00:08:02 To work, I have to work, right? I see, I don't understand my interpretation. Is that what you were doing? I answered it. Yes. I'm getting home to work. Getting to the work. That's right.
Starting point is 00:08:11 The gig is the gig. That's step one of the gig. I'm not shooting on parks now. If anybody deserves vacation as parks. Now I'm just shooting the shit. Yes, the gig is the gig. So how I come up with the substitution place? I'm asking no disrespect
Starting point is 00:08:23 I'm just curious to know Mark you doing that shit you did to BDOT when you're outcasted him I'm not outcasted I like him We had a great I got OCD so just when I didn't see Parks here I was uncomfortable You seem like a great guy
Starting point is 00:08:35 He's super talented Super talented super experience Mark I can't with you I can't join in You're trying to make a narrative I can't I'm just saying I see what you do And I can't join in with you What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:08:45 Nep has been here before if you haven't met now I've never been here a day without parks Erickson has a backup Have you met Erickson's backup? No who's Eric's Backup? It's Black Erickson. Oh, I saw him on a couch in there one day.
Starting point is 00:08:56 Okay, so he was like prepped before in case Erickson. The Erickson backup is a lot smooth. I was what I'm saying? It's a lot of smooth. Did you do like a backup plan? Now you want to give Neff a mic. Now you want to be a personality. Now you want to have to be a personality.
Starting point is 00:09:11 I do not need him to add a mic. I want to get home before Carson. No, what I'm saying is do, I guess I'm trying to figure out is like how we work this thing out for back. Before Carson. For backups. You know what I mean? Like, how do we do the backup thing? That's all I was asking.
Starting point is 00:09:25 Did you know, we pick names out of hand? Look, now you ain't. You can't help yourself. I appreciate Neff. Thank you for talking about taking some time out today. Thank you for troubleshooting too. And actually, yeah, dedicating some time to get this thing working. We did have some audio issues, but we are back.
Starting point is 00:09:42 We got it, though. We are back now. Queens flipping the building. What up? Yeah, how you doing, man? I'm doing good, man. Good. Absolutely love that.
Starting point is 00:09:48 We're chilling, man. Neffah was getting me a little tight, but, you know, we good. Big Neff. Shout to you. Hey, let me just say that something. White people don't... They're surrounding areas. They don't really pay attention.
Starting point is 00:09:59 They don't give a fuck. Like, while the shit fucking up, like, he thinks that we down with him. He's like, yo, this don't work, yo, looking around. We like, yo, no, meth. He was animated. He was that shit down.
Starting point is 00:10:09 He like, oh, shit. I tried to... It don't work, Joe. Niggin Joe like this. Joe maddy's shit. Every shit came out of hands in his pocket. Like this. If you don't start,
Starting point is 00:10:21 And we on the phone with Parks who don't even have the decency to be in a quiet part of Turks and act like he's missing work. He on a beach. He on a yacht. The wind is whistling in the background. Way to go, Parks.
Starting point is 00:10:35 Love you buddy. Shout out to you guys. He figured it out, though. He was dedicated. That's gangster. He sat there. He was dedicated. Shout to him.
Starting point is 00:10:42 He was gangsters. The trick all y'all, you just did the same shit. When you go to your little white country you'd be busy. Wrong person? Yeah. All y' y'all do it.
Starting point is 00:10:48 He's getting back fast. He's driving. Yeah, it's not that simple, my nigga. Nigger, I've seen a Dodge Ram commercial. You got a Ram? Like,
Starting point is 00:11:32 Oh, my God! Yo, I thought you had a Dodge Ram. That shit makes it over any terrain, a storm. What are you talking about? Now, he's stuck in the airport. Wait till I tell. Hey, wait till I tell Ram that you was duck in the airport. He's so stupid.
Starting point is 00:11:50 Why are you ready to get a train? I woke because they kept moving. Yeah, that's your move. They kept moving the flight. So you're in the airport. My flight was supposed to leave at 11. They don't move it to. Oh, I got you.
Starting point is 00:12:02 9 o'clock. Yeah, they give you two. Then 2.30. Then 3.15. Then they let us board the plane. We sitting on a tarmac for two hours. I went to sleep. And we're still on the tarmac.
Starting point is 00:12:13 They came back. They let us get off the plane. Then gave us a, oh, shit was a nightmare. I didn't get home to them. You didn't have to spend another. Yeah. Clean up stories. me fire, yo.
Starting point is 00:12:21 You practiced that, you old, so you practice that. You know, you're clean-up stories. He's the fire. He's a word story. He's still with, like, normal frustration. You know, man, I went to sleep. Then I woke up.
Starting point is 00:12:34 So you didn't want to drive this time. All the times you drive it. Then I walked off. Then I called Uber. Then I had to pick X. His story is just. with 50 year old nigger frustration It ain't nothing

Starting point is 00:13:27 What are you building? What the fuck are you building? A brick house. You want to see? You want to see? A brick house. You know, a white brick house. Ha. Get my minute alone,
Starting point is 00:13:44 you know. He said, ha. Yo. I ain't it. No, for real. How long? I got to take these shades on because I'm crying. Yo, listen.
Starting point is 00:13:53 Oh, shit. No, for real. How long do it take you to build whatever you build it out there? Like, when will the project be done? It was a couple months. I only been going out of a couple months. And I'm not there consistently every day. They're cracking me at my, they're cracking me in the ass trying to build the house.

Starting point is 00:15:33 Great. Let's see here. Let's have some fun. Come around me sighing and making weird sounds because I'm not asking what is wrong with you. Word. I'm not. On God. In emotional fishing.
Starting point is 00:15:46 Something's wrong. respectfully just say it was your chest okay and the funniest part is people you know they will sigh like they're in the final final scene of a war movie like then they'll start aggressively cleaning something you know opening and closing cabinets looking at the window dramatically oh god I hate the house like they just received devastating news congratulations the performance has been acknowledged I'm still not at all I think it's gonna game okay I know the second I go what's wrong the The answer is always, oh, nothing, excellent.
Starting point is 00:16:18 Then let's both enjoy this absolutely nothing in silence. I'm a simple person. If you have something to say, please just say it. I'm tired. I'm not decoding Morse code through exaggerated breathing. I'm not reading emotional subtitles. I'm definitely not doing this. I'm already deciding to answer every question with, it's fine, but perfect.

Starting point is 00:25:07 We're here. Good day. Good day. Good energy. Good. Good. We love that. We love that.
Starting point is 00:25:11 Before we got started, we was watching this video. A lady and her husband? Yeah, it's a safari. So. The whites, yo. What happened is? It's the white. It was two different videos.
Starting point is 00:25:26 One of the lady and her husband was getting in the car. And the tiger just came and grabbed the lady and just snatched her and pulled her away. And these things are like, you ought to just let her head. I'm like, yo, fam, you got to instinctively chase your wife. They was like, sometimes you got to go against your instincts. Instinct to live. You know, the man was like, instinct to live. You know, nah.
Starting point is 00:25:46 No, that's crazy. Fib, you're going to chase. No, but the other one, the other one even more so. Well, let's talk this one. Because in both cases, I'm like, no. Don't fuck around put your hand in the animal mouth. No, right by the animal. Right.
Starting point is 00:26:01 So the other one, they was on one of them, um, safari trucks. Yeah, the truck. And the lady just happened, holding her arm out the window. Being white. Being white. And the lion. The lion face is right there. And he waited for a minute.
Starting point is 00:26:14 Like, all right. So I'm pussy is what you telling me. I'm just a sucker out here, huh? And he just learned you something. And once she got her hand grab, you're on your own. Right? That's what you reach in and you punch the lion and you try to make it let it go? I would do that.
Starting point is 00:26:29 I would do all right. But once it's clear that he ain't letting go. He ain't letting go. You got, what the fuck I was like punching away? So you letting your wife get captured by animals? No, my wife let my wife get captured by. Are you attempting to help her? He don't need both of us.
Starting point is 00:26:43 Are you accepting that? You're not attempting anything. Not if, honey, you're on your own Not if they ain't going to end good Good, you're a man, bro. So you're just going to cue to set it off music on your wife. I mean, look.
Starting point is 00:26:56 The saxophone start playing so she stuck her arm out the motherfucker. That's what I'm saying. We go remember her well, I'm going to raise the boy. You know what I'm saying? Put something in her name. I would say if she could be saved. But all this hero shit, we've gargled
Starting point is 00:27:09 down with the plane. That's some shit or the boat. Nah. Like I can't swim. If she's drowning, I help. That's a great point. I'm with you, though. When you sit in an emergency seat on the plane and they ask you all in questions.
Starting point is 00:27:22 And you lie? You lie for the leg room. Yeah. One time I told the truth, though, like, I'm not going to help these people. You said you would. You would. I'm definitely going to be the first person to jump off in the event something happens. And they was like, well, if that's your answer, we have to move here.
Starting point is 00:27:37 I said, I bet I help the people. I'll hold the door while all our lives are in danger. Right. After you. I don't think nobody going to, well, I can't say nobody. But I'm not. Not. If I'm the one responsible for the door, we all did.
Starting point is 00:27:50 I don't know how to open that shit. When they're talking about, when they're telling you the instructions or how to get the parachute out of the seat, open the door. I'm not listening to none of that shit. You ain't lying. At all. Yeah. These shit don't fall down a mask.
Starting point is 00:28:03 I don't know how to do none of that shit. Put yours on first and then help your day. Well, I'm going to put mine on. Don't you worry about it. If it don't work, I may use his. Shit. They picked the wrong. You're not.
Starting point is 00:28:14 You know. Oh, man. You end up at the mercy of whatever crowd you're in at the time of the threat. Yeah. Which is scary. I'm relying on a fucking citizen if we're on the plane. I need the door open now. You can get stuck with some idiot.
Starting point is 00:28:31 You can get stuck with the insurrection crew. All them niggas out there look like complete idiots. Every last one of them that took off. I don't care if you had PTO. You niggas looked stupid up there. They did. They did. And I finally got to the last few episodes of Widows.
Starting point is 00:28:47 Bay and came to the same conclusion. Oh, this is a town just full of idiots. I ain't seen it. I ain't seen it either. I cut it off after episode nine. I wasn't rushing in to 10. It's only 10 episodes, but I had a brand new episode of Furious on the side. I wasn't about to keep watching Furious on Hulu.
Starting point is 00:29:07 Is it scary? Furious? No. No, it's about a female serial killer. And a female detective that's chasing her. But yeah, I wasn't. Widows Bay, y'all got it, yo. A town full of complete idiot.
Starting point is 00:29:18 It's important where you live in this country. Yes. Well, Joe, speaking of things to watch, there's an exciting new crime show coming out. Way to go, Mark. Hey, Mark, every time something of mine pops out there on the Internet, you don't have to come here. I'm trying to support.
Starting point is 00:29:33 I'm supportive. I already got your support, my brother. Thank you. I got your support already. But let's hear it. Could you do me a favor and cue it? But you just so happen to hear it. You not act like you got to find out.
Starting point is 00:29:46 You know, right? I just posted it on my. I heard him. I heard him play five times. Exactly. He's redo, re-saying the lines and shit. Here we go, Ma'am. Just because you asked for it.
Starting point is 00:29:57 Thank you. That's what's true crime. What is the other of your emergency? I've been watching it, reading it, and following cases for years. Oh my God, Mark. I came up on Law & Order, SvU, New York undercover, all of them. These shows made me look at crime stories differently. Not just what happened, but how it happened, who it would affect and what it said about.
Starting point is 00:30:20 said about. A gruesome story leads off our... I promise you, I don't need to play this for you guys. Nick, just a little more please. No, no, we did to hit this. The mind behind. We've had a rough morning. Studio and Advanced Local to bring you something brand new. Ooh.
Starting point is 00:30:33 Every week, I'm talking with Advanced Locals reporters. Professionals, finally. People closest to the facts and the people closest to the story. Joe, I'm here at the scene where police have been investigating throughout the evening. I'm not just making another true crime show telling you the same story Everybody else is bringing with true crime in real time. So whether you're as obsessed with true crime as I am, love law and order or you're just a fan of what I've been doing.
Starting point is 00:30:58 You're good. You're not enough. We're almost there. Crime in America with Joe Button comes out next Tuesday. Find it on Patreon, YouTube, Apple, or wherever you get your podcast. Oh. That's a lot of money. It's all that ever you get your podcast.
Starting point is 00:31:15 It's all of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Man, shout out to my partners. Dick Wolf, Wolf Entertainment, advanced locals, man, Headline Studios.
Starting point is 00:31:24 Super excited about this. You should be, man. Shout to people, Variety, who did a front-page story of there in Variety magazine about this today. I don't know if you saw it. Did you see Variety? You probably don't even get that.
Starting point is 00:31:31 You don't read the trades. I did read it. Okay, he's in the trade. They got a big story on Joe on this, man. It's very exciting. Flip, I thought we go to you for some feedback. Yo, I'm proud of him. I'm proud of him, man.
Starting point is 00:31:46 I'm very proud of you. Look at you, man. You can't stay there. I can't stay down. And now you're building in the house. You're trying to find all this shit to get into. Look at you. Your voice sound proper.
Starting point is 00:31:58 You see what he's reading the words? Nigger, articulation at its finest, nigga. Hello, I am Joe Budding. Right. Yeah, all of a sudden, no stutter. Sounds good, boy. Thank you. How do you feel, champ?
Starting point is 00:32:10 I feel, man. He's crazy, yo. You all the dick. Did you see the clip what the nigger said, he took a picture of Joe Button Forbes? And the nigga that did the voice, Hey, yo, tell them niggas Joe that I raised you. You said $50 to everybody. I did see it.
Starting point is 00:32:28 How you feel, man? I feel real good. Got a lot of support. Next level shit. A lot of support. A lot of support. That's next year, Doug. So this is what you was telling us last year, right?
Starting point is 00:32:35 You was telling us last year you just needed a couple of more months. Was this the one of the most you were cooking that you were talking about? Yeah. A couple of months passed now, boy. Yeah. What are doing? Yeah, you look good. Yo, Flip, and you know, I guess you got to go on the road now, too, a lot, right?
Starting point is 00:32:52 Like, to do the shows, you got to meet with the locals. Yeah. So that means, unfortunately, like, work, because you got to do work. See how he said that up earlier? You got to go where work is. No matter what, work is, you know. Then you got to do a vacation, too, at one point. Nah, but he got to go to New Mexico first.
Starting point is 00:33:04 That's kind of crazy now you think about it, though. Minnesota. And Minnesota. Don't forget Minnesota. In Wyoming. A lot of crime in Wyoming. Mad shit going on in Montana. Because Flip started putting boots on the ground, investigating stories and all of that, different cities,
Starting point is 00:33:16 something pop-off. Swagger Jack? That's what it looked like. Oh, I didn't even think about that. My man, he could do that. He could do that. It's okay. Because we look out for each other.
Starting point is 00:33:26 You know what I mean? We look out for each other. I support him, support me big time. You know what I mean? Y'all work it out. I'm hoping to what you're saying. But if what you're saying is true, that mean then Mark's Swaggerjack, flip.
Starting point is 00:33:38 Because Mark is the one that's trying to get into his investigative journalism bag, Brian McKnight, Cheyenne Bryant, Faye College, dude. I was doing that means that you saw what Flip was doing in John. I was doing that when he was at Murray Bertrand. Okay. You wasn't. I don't think he wasn't either. He was in the coat. That nigga was the
Starting point is 00:33:58 that nigga was the host talking to Natalie Nunn. Welcome to BET. Yeah, I'm here. I'm Mark Lamarillo. He tried to erase that point in shit. Everything wasn't always prestigious, thing. What was that show they had on this?
Starting point is 00:34:12 So why did you throw that glass? It was a dark period of my life. No, I remember, but shout to you, bro. No, that's good. Did you ever think you'd be spending as much time talking to cops and stuff? I mean, duh. I haven't spoken to any police, Mark.
Starting point is 00:34:29 Ain't that what you said in the ad? You'd be talking to the police? Local. No. The local police. Like the beat cops. The ones that know you by first name. Hey, Joey.
Starting point is 00:34:37 What's the name of the New York? And Joe! Hey, Joey! Was it, Malik Yoba in the movies? Got that bacon and your cheese just on. Extra. Extra ketchup. Extra catch up.
Starting point is 00:34:49 Crime in America. You guys, be sure to check it out. Hopefully, y'all enjoy the show. I'm glad to have the support of my brother. Even if this is what the support looks like, I'll still take it. No, we do it. Lastly, you know, he wants us more involved than doing TV coverage.
Starting point is 00:35:04 So I think every episode we should do it. Yeah, yeah, I'm with you. We got you. We got you. We got you. We got you. That would require you all watching something. Oh, no.
Starting point is 00:35:11 And then coming in with an opinion on it. We'll make an exception. Don't worry about it. Don't worry about it. I bet. I bet you will. Just some time aside for you. Thank you. Thank you, my daughter. I appreciate that, man.
Starting point is 00:35:20 What's going on? Some other new shit is coming out, by the way. You see this Joe Jackson documentary coming out? No. Am I wrong for feeling fucked up about this? It depends on what you feel fucked up. I don't want it to come out. Why?
Starting point is 00:35:33 Because he's a fucked up dude. I feel like they're going to make him into a hero. Joe Jack. Because Marlon is making it. Marlon is executive producing it. So you know he's going to take all the ass-womenes out. Marlon might not get that many ass. Who had the youngest?
Starting point is 00:35:48 Yeah, but Marlon was the worst one. He might have got all asswuppets. No, no, no, no, no. The youngest don't get the asswhip. They were. They was successful by that time. Yeah. By that time, we got the formula down.
Starting point is 00:36:00 We ain't got to whoop your ass that bad. Can you tell Joe Jackson's story without the beatings? See, I don't think you can. You can minimalize him. That's kind of his thing. Yeah. It's trademarked. It's like Pepsi, dude.
Starting point is 00:36:13 Right. No, no. No. Stop it's the same way. It's the same with Ike Turner too, right? Yeah. Yeah. Because Ike Turner has a recording career outside of Tina Turner.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Mm-hmm. Yeah, he does. But you can't really tell the Ike Turner story without talking about what he did to Tina Turner. And don't know, I'd give a fuck about the Ike Turner story before Tina. That's true. The Ike Turner review ain't that interested. Eh. Amazing song.
Starting point is 00:36:37 I ain't about trying to get me to cake for him. But what I'm saying is if all media outlets tell you what to think of somebody, then you're not going to really. think nothing else of him. Nobody talks about his greatness outside of that. They only talk about him in relation to his... I was like, because it ain't... Carol King, maybe one of the greatest songwriters of the 20th century,
Starting point is 00:36:56 if not number one. Not an interesting dot, but nothing interesting to say about it. Right? A babyface dot. Probably... Well, no, actually, a babyface dot could be interesting. See, I'm totally... I'm on it.
Starting point is 00:37:06 I know what sells today. I'm on the interesting part. Talent ain't what sales. But wait, hold up. Let's take it out of entertainment land for a minute because this is interesting to me, what Mark is saying. How many people on earth do you think just live a completely bland and uninteresting life.
Starting point is 00:37:19 I don't think there's a whole shit load of them. I think it's levels, though. I think it's levels. To that. Not in comparison to the amount of people on Earth. But to what the masses would call interesting is a totally different thing. Well, that's where you need producers and writers
Starting point is 00:37:34 and people to come pull the interesting out. Kind of like me and Flip Dutty all every week. Like, you need professionals to do that. Like, that's just not on humans. You know, Corey. Yo, throw that shit off, yo. Yo, Corey, what you ordered now, man? It's a dryer.
Starting point is 00:37:51 It's a dry off. Corey being Spencer's just buying, buying shit. What's that store that used to have to craft manx and all that shit? Was it Spencer? No, it wasn't Spencer. Sears? No, nigga. What's the store that, now, now I got to think of it.
Starting point is 00:38:05 It was Spencer. What Spencer's got? Spence's had, all the futuristic shit. They had the fucking... You know what? Craft Maddox is? You're talking about sharper image. Sharpier.
Starting point is 00:38:13 Sharpier image. Yes. I was thinking of bookstore. Sharper image. Sharper image when you were young. Well, let me speak for me when I was young. That was the place that had all the shit. I wanted to be able to buy it one day.
Starting point is 00:38:25 I couldn't afford. Facts. And they had all that shit I'll let you use it. Like, demo took. Niggas had shit that you just didn't even need pencils that resharpened by itself. All types of dumb shit in there. Anyway, I used to go in there.
Starting point is 00:38:37 They used to let you use the shit while it was on display. Anyway, that's too long. I didn't speak louder. Take that fucking gruff out your voice. to it. Listen, listen when the guy's talking. Bear ass. Anyway, what's going on? Joe Jackson. So, Mark is disappointed about Joe Jackson. Yeah, I just don't think it's going to be interesting.
Starting point is 00:38:55 Even though the way they teased it didn't seem like they was going to leave out the bad shit. You can't, bro. You can't. And that's what they're selling you on to watch it. And even the Michael movie had some of the bad shit, maybe not to the degree that we needed it. But even the Jackson's know they got to put some of that in there. Because that wasn't a focal point with the Michael shit. But it was just a battle between him.
Starting point is 00:39:16 and his father. If it's about Joe, you can't tell Joe Jackson story without ass whoopings. That's true. It's not possible. And again, back to what we were saying, what do people know you for? Like, in his case, whippered ass. That's what he's known for. But we've argued up here. About everything.
Starting point is 00:39:32 That's true. But some people up here took a stance in his greatness. Like, you don't get the greatness out of them if he wasn't whipping their ass. Oh, you said that. You said that, nigga. I was trying to spare you. I was trying to spare your dumb ass. What you're talking about? You know, don't know.
Starting point is 00:39:46 People up here. I remember that thing. I was trying to spare you. Oh, then that was us. Come on. Come out. Come out. I don't speak French, nigger, we, we.
Starting point is 00:39:53 I stood on the other side. You can't stand on there. You can't stand on the other side. I don't think you necessarily had to physically beat them to get the greatness out of them. No, I don't. It's part of their story, man. The pressure that he applied, the constant practicing, regardless of you don't want to admit it, that led to one of the greatest groups of
Starting point is 00:40:18 all time and the greatest singer of all time. He said it himself when he was alive, even though he didn't like it. This is what he stated. But see, so we always talk about what if, what if, oh, it is. Let's show us another group that went through the same thing without the ass women. That became as successful as them. Then we can compare.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Oh, you said if they were. I'm saying, show us. I mean, no addition. See, this is why one of us should have went to the cold show. We didn't here breaking down. The Jackson Five. The ass-women part, though. I want to ask you a question about the coach show, too.
Starting point is 00:40:52 Set your old answer. I know. These nigs are talking about Jackson. But I will say, I agree that I don't, I don't think you get, I don't think you get the greatness out of them without the ass whoop it. But I'm like, it's okay. Like, maybe we need the greatness. Right. It's easy to say now.
Starting point is 00:41:05 I'd rather, I'd rather not have Michael, like, I'd rather Michael Jackson work in Circuit City. You know what I mean? He'd be alive. She. Didn't he get his ass with him. Nah. Hell no. How y'all choosing the ass women from Michael?
Starting point is 00:41:15 Yes. Yes. You're all. He. Oh! When it be started, all that. Is that all that? Yeah, nah. Y'all? You used some selfish fucked up people, man. I mean, he made it.
Starting point is 00:41:27 Man in the mirror. He's dead. No, but not from the asswop-wopings. I mean, kind of. No, man. Kind of. I mean, drugs, self-esteem, surgeries, fire. All that shit came from the ass-wop-s.
Starting point is 00:41:40 Listen, man. Fuck y'all, man. It's a lot. More greatness came from the ass-wop-s than not. Why didn't y'all go to the cold show? Whatever art they got in the social. this museum, I bet you is worse than the museum with all of the
Starting point is 00:41:52 fucking all the niggas on bullshit. Like, I just stand in that, in art to the point that it's that I said, I still do believe that. In art, you need duress. Gotta go through something. Sounds crazy, but it's true.
Starting point is 00:42:08 I agree. Now, I'm not saying that what that duress has to be, but the true mark of greatness for every artist is what they were able to endure, overcome, or express while they were in turmoil, not while the sun is shining. I'm with you. But to be human is to have that turmoil.
Starting point is 00:42:25 So the turmoil going to come and the art going come. I'm just saying, that don't mean, like, like, niggas make great art when they dad leave him, but you can't just leave your kid and be like, oh, he's going to be a great rapper one day. Like, you can't do it. Or, you know, he's going to be a running back. Like, no, you got to do the best you can.
Starting point is 00:42:37 And when the fuck them shit happened, life will happen. I'm just saying if I could choose. A great rap career ain't never brought back a dad. Hey, y'all. Y'all think your missing dad didn't hear your mistake? Hey, hey, you ain't enough money and rap for the dad to pop back up like, hey, your new album. I'd never seen that. Sorry.
Starting point is 00:43:03 I never seen it. Tell me what. Yeah. Benzino. And maybe Jay-Z. She got a little successful and then he popped up. You can't tell you one. We ain't heard nothing.
Starting point is 00:43:13 Things ain't even know. Jay-Z, dad popped up? Nah, that's fucked up. That's fucked up. up. Don't do that to Benzino. We fuck with Benzino. That's my man.
Starting point is 00:43:22 Damn, ice. That's flip man. You said, give an example. I don't know Benzino to be a debby. I'm not saying that's him and his daughter. You said they popped back up. I don't know about that. Pop back up and plies.
Starting point is 00:43:32 Yeah, I'm there. Yeah, I can't go on that. I think of him for a majority of time of a teenage years and all that shit. So if you know why you said it. Why you said it if you know? I ain't said no. You're going to bump into him. I see your new airport.
Starting point is 00:43:46 That's cool. He's still brawling. He's still brawling. nigga. We're cool, man. He's still a little he in the way room. That hairling shit ain't going to fly when Fistakups start. Nah, nah, nah. You're going to take your shirt off
Starting point is 00:43:58 and get away from him. Slip right out. Nah, nigga. Hey, go, last. Oh, man. Oh, man. And that's a new perceived op for you. Been seen him?
Starting point is 00:44:12 Back to our op list. Back to our op list. No, that's not. Nah, that's not. No way. Perceived op. Perceived. Someone that may not be an op, but because of something you've said on a podcast, an audience will assume that this person is your op. I got at least 30 of them.
Starting point is 00:44:28 Y'all have some two. They're out there. Yeah. Yeah, that's true. That's true. Like, we got a hot topic on the board right now. I don't know why we're trying to push it back down with three, but I mean, it does involve. Which one?
Starting point is 00:44:38 It's a lot of hot topic. It involves somebody's op up here. So, I mean, I can't bring it up. Oh, shit. Show me. Show me. I'll say it, nigga. Fuck them.
Starting point is 00:44:45 Your op slip. Where's my app at? I'm asking. I don't know what you're talking about. Nah. Some shit about rolling Martin. Let me see. Let me take my shade. Who?
Starting point is 00:44:55 Oh, yeah. Some shit about rolling Martin. They got to put it up there. Oh, that niggas know it, though. Rolling Martin is not in the board. He ran from it. He ran from it. I ain't run from it.
Starting point is 00:45:05 I'm not right rolling Martin. All right, so what you all we're talking about? We ain't got to talk about that, man. I don't want to bring no, no, no, no, no. Because he'd bring it our way. No way. I didn't bring this your way? Put me.
Starting point is 00:45:15 No, you would bring smoke our way once you get a wind of it. Once you get a winner's something, you're bringing it, nigga, let's like the fire. I leave lots of shit out. Rogan Martin, Nick, well, tell me about him.
Starting point is 00:45:22 Who is he? I don't know nothing about him. Put me on so I can co-sign him. What did he do? Come on, Mark. The pride with which y'all be ignorant. Come on, what did he do? What did you do?
Starting point is 00:45:35 Mark, come on, please. He founded a Black Star Network, great journalists, a giant in black media. He also written multiple books. He was a CNN contributor. Why here the news today? A new cycle
Starting point is 00:45:49 I didn't see the new cycle today Yesterday the weekend So here's the thing I'm gonna answer your question No no no I'm gonna ask Don't back down I'm not back and I just don't See I genuinely
Starting point is 00:46:00 I genuinely didn't want And don't want to report on this On my own show I haven't reported on it And I've encouraged other people Not to report on it Okay But since you're asking me directly He got caught up in some drama
Starting point is 00:46:12 With Tasha Kay And she was tweeting this weekend About it And you know I found a tweet. She says, it's absolutely insane that I just received stills from a video allegedly showing Roland Martin inside a woman's home, and put in parentheses, not his wife's, laid out on her bed, appearing to be pegged. The fact that cameras are set up in the room, the fact that he allegedly sent her pictures of himself in a G-string, this is only the beginning. I wish I could unsee this.
Starting point is 00:46:40 Yeah, we've reached out to his team or are waiting in a response. And then everything is allegedly. Yo, I love when they put that at the end of the dock. You watch your whole doc of somebody's name getting dragged out. And then they say, we've reached out to their team. And they didn't reply it. No, shit, they didn't reply. But they did.
Starting point is 00:47:00 Yeah, yeah. Update. Roland Martin's team has confirmed to my team that the stills I received of him appearing naked in a women's home that's not his wife are 100% authentic. He says he's being extolled. Oh, shit. Oh shit He stood on it
Starting point is 00:47:16 Or not He says he's being extorted He also proposed that he would be suing If we or any other blog Disseminates These hilarious-ass images of him Appearing to be in the leopard print thong So
Starting point is 00:47:33 And leopard does match with anything Yeah No for real For real when my girl bought me to fucking We did the old head-ass Matching Twin Trunk thing She got me leopard. I was put off at first.
Starting point is 00:47:46 She was a leopard speedo, my nigga? I didn't say speedo, but I mean, I ain't mad at a little leopard. I mean. Yo, what the fuck is that? Yeah, you was on your friend for your stuff. Shit. I hear we say, but he's like Bernie Rubble. He was on your friend for shit.
Starting point is 00:48:04 I would do ass, man. That is funny, my nigga. You say whatever you want, but that's funny. Yeah, he's sitting in it. I mean, it's crazy. I've done the research on this. I went back. I see the person who's doing the extortion.
Starting point is 00:48:17 I've read the story, and I spoke to the parties involved. That's what they were doing. You spoke to both parties? I spoke to multiple parties involved. That's all I can say. This clearly is an extortion attempt. That's corny. And that's why I don't want to...
Starting point is 00:48:40 That's super corny. Because I don't want you. the thing I didn't want to report on this because it's my friend. I don't want to report on it because I don't want to encourage these types of extortion attempts. If somebody is doing harm to somebody, if somebody is doing something, maybe even illegal,
Starting point is 00:48:54 although that's gray for me, I think then we have a duty to report it. But if somebody's doing something in their personal life, that's between them and the people who they did the consensual acts with. And if they're married or in a relationship, that's between them and the people they're in relationships with.
Starting point is 00:49:10 And we don't even know their dynamic. I don't know enough about Roland's personal life to even know what his family dynamic is. I don't know if he violated his oaths, his vows, his commitment. I don't know enough to say. So I don't think it's our business. So for me, I always get a little anxious hearing people report that kind of stuff.
Starting point is 00:49:27 It only matters to me if maybe you're like a public, like a politician. Like sometimes the people who like sign anti-gay bills and you find them in the gay bar, that to me is a little bit different. But if you just live in your life and you get caught up in a thong, it ain't my business. If you live in your life and you get caught in a thong, it's your business until the person you trusted with these pictures is mad at you and put it online.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Facts. Well, it's not a public business. But it's also illegal. The problem is that's illegal. Revenge porn, extortion, blackmail, those, and that's what their role as team is going after them for. Well, I hope he's successful in it Yeah, yeah I hope he wins that
Starting point is 00:50:15 I'm not a fan of another that shit Not at all Yeah, you'll see these pictures When we are together again I ain't sending them to your phone I don't know Me and the leopard The leopard shorts
Starting point is 00:50:26 Are you shouldn't me? I'm sorry, I don't even control Illegal recording, Revenge Porn and extortion are the three things Also So that's not he didn't even know She was being he was being recorded
Starting point is 00:50:34 I can't I can't 100% confirm that But based on the charges That are being alleged From the team Yeah it sounds That he didn't even know Yeah
Starting point is 00:50:42 It's not like, let's make a video and then it slipped into the wrong hands. Who the fuck is alert and pegged? That's the other thing. That would take all my fucking concentration. You say, you're gay. I wouldn't be able to think about it. Oh, shit. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 00:51:00 What's happening? Turn the camera. Turn the camera. Yo. Yo, this nigga is crazy. I'm just trying to find some life humor in a real unfortunate situation. I've met Roland, rolling, it's super cool. I hope he gets through this.
Starting point is 00:51:14 Thoughts and prayers rolling. And this is fucked up. This can happen to anybody out there. So, I mean. And he wasn't being pegged in the video, by the way. That's another thing Tasha corrected yesterday on her video. She said after, because she, because of the legal ramification, she didn't show the video as she had initially promised on her stream. But she did kind of watch the video and kind of narrate it to her audience, which is, you know.
Starting point is 00:51:36 And she says that he was not being pegged. I don't want to get into the graphic details. It's fine, buddy. whatever you need to peg somebody wasn't there and I think it was important for and according to her role to scene made that clear because people were saying there was a dude in the camera not true and that he was being pegged in the camera also not true got but what was happening in the camera um I think there was some digital play I yeah what the net I don't know what digital play is digital play I don't know what your digits
Starting point is 00:52:06 are out your digits are no fingers Oh, digits. What you thought I meant, like, the computer? Yeah, I didn't know what the fuck you were on. Y'all really should have went to school. It ain't too late. Y'all can go back. Thank you, Fris.
Starting point is 00:52:22 Thank you for that. Fine, invent new ways to call her stupid. Let's see, let's see, let's see, let's see, ASAP Rocky. Asap Rocky reaches out to a dude on the internet, likes his work. This is a dude that reddoes logos, reimagines logos. He reaches out.
Starting point is 00:52:40 He DMs him. He says good. Good morning, Alan. How much do you charge for brand logo revisions? Assuming you would be willing to do so, I would be honored. Love your work. God bless. Sounds very normal.
Starting point is 00:52:53 Sounds like what you would do when you're a fan of somebody's work. The dude takes that and posts it publicly. And he was excited about it, but he posted it publicly to which Aesab Rocky responded and said, this is just distasteful. Well, I guess we won't be working. best of luck buddy yep and I see this happen quite a bit with talented people on the internet that get to just being excited when certain people reach out you gotta remember a lot of people is fans still so the famous person reach out hey I'm a fan of your
Starting point is 00:53:29 work you want to post it publicly they don't know that they cut their nose to spite their facts they go be very short-sighted no they are they can't it could be about it. There's no entertainer that wants to see their private messages posted for public consumption. Ever. No, I'm not disagree. I think that they almost look at it like an ad or like
Starting point is 00:53:49 promo. Like if Rocky fucking with me, then the common man going to run to get their logos done. You know what a better ad would be? Post the work. Doing the work. I'm not disagreeing. I'm not disagreeing. Letting the work take place. Yeah, that's what I'm saying. Letting the celebrity, once the
Starting point is 00:54:05 work is done, be the one to talk about how amazing this experience was and working with you, look at this product I got even being able to put certain things on your resume, even if the celebrity never says a word. Like, I don't get, I don't, I mean, I do understand it. I just am on the other side of it. People get so excited.
Starting point is 00:54:24 You can DM some. There's people in this community who I wanted to do work with. Some of y'all recommended the person to me. And as soon as I did the follow, they posted that I followed them. So now people are watching. the interaction and it seemed like a good brother and I wanted his help on something. But like now I'm like, if I know you're going to do that screenshot just me following you
Starting point is 00:54:46 and then make a whole story about it, then that makes me think every interaction we have is going to be like that. And that makes me not want to rock with you at all. You make you not want to do no business. You're fucking yourself. And then other people see that. Oh, that's how that person move. Now, I don't want to fuck with you.
Starting point is 00:55:01 Right. You really are making it harder for yourself. And I think people have good intentions. Yeah, I think people are really like souped up. about it and kind of put it out to the rest of the world, almost like an ad. Like, you know, I'm working with this person, I'm working with that person, but they don't necessarily know the ramifications it could have. And I saw this happen recently with a young lady I follow with.
Starting point is 00:55:21 She was talking about she needed some money for college, and I guess Shaq reached out and offered to pay. Yeah, asked her how much. She set a number and he paid it. And I guess her understanding of what she thought. she needed was different. So she posted the message and then went on a post about what she really needed and how she was going to go double back and ask him.
Starting point is 00:55:48 And she said she posted. She said he was really upset about it. He spoke to her about it behind the scenes. I don't blame him. She apologized. But that's something that I don't know if an apology ever undoes. See, I don't, I really don't understand that one because here, y'all already have had the conversation and he's like he sent some bread over the.
Starting point is 00:56:07 help you out. If there's another, you need to reach back. You have some level of some line of communication already. Right. Go and use that same line of communication and do whatever you did. But the point in, she repost, I mean, she screenshot the DM Exchange. Then she went and screenshot like the bill breakdown showing how much she really needed, posted that up and then say, y'all tag shack.
Starting point is 00:56:32 Yeah. Yeah. That shit was weird. Yeah, it's disgusting. I didn't understand it. In my opinion. You all can give entrepreneurs out there to avoid things like this from happening. Stop posting the message.
Starting point is 00:56:43 Yeah. Don't post the message. Do the work. Seal the deal first. A lot of times if someone is a fan of your work and you're receptive and you work out of deal, a celebrity will post your work. They may even tag you. And if they don't, like you said, you know what I mean?
Starting point is 00:57:00 It builds a rapport. They may invite you to an event or somewhere where you can be able to capture a picture and then write under the commerce. you know this guy hit me up and you know what I mean so you got to be able to seal the deal a lot of times you knickers you know and a lot of times don't be afraid to ask you nose and spite your face yeah yeah it's a way it's a way to do it um I'm just a fan to not putting my business out publicly anyway so even if I was working with the celebrity it would just be under wraps that's a fact you know what it is real quick too same you know how when people either pass away or something happened
Starting point is 00:57:39 and somebody would take a picture of the conversation and text conversation and DM and stuff like that. And it's not until I came up here where you guys were talking about them. I'm like, oh, that shit looks crazy. It does look crazy. At some point, at one point, like when somebody passed away, I wanted to post something, you know.
Starting point is 00:57:56 I guess that's the error that I came from in my mind. That's what I never understood. I guess you're just showing the relationship, showing that I really knew the person. You're really showing the world or bragging to the world. Y'all knew him. Yeah, exactly. It's just a flex.
Starting point is 00:58:08 It's a flex. I knew them better than you did. Being up here and hearing how Joe talked about it, that's one of the things I can say that influenced me. Joe's like, man, that shit is corny. You niggas did it. I was just about to do some shit like that too. And I looked at it and I thought about it.
Starting point is 00:58:20 Then I saw somebody else do it because you know how the algorithm to work. And it does look corny. And then you act like you're talking to them. I miss you, man. You just spoke to me yesterday. It's like, all right. So. Man, the whole performance.
Starting point is 00:58:30 But back to your point about the entrepreneurs. Don't be afraid to like once you get into the point where we're, all right, we're going to do the work. Ask them. Hey, can you credit me for this? Or is it cool? When you post this, can you tag me? Some of them will do it.
Starting point is 00:58:46 Yeah. But just don't be afraid to ask, but at least get to the point where you're actually secured the job first. And that goes not just with somebody reaching out to you for work, but a deal you get. Like, if they reach out to you and say, I remember I had got, which was? This was a long time ago. No, no, no, no. This was years, years, years, years, years ago. I never did an audition before.
Starting point is 00:59:07 I never did an audition And wait, hold on, hold on Let me, let me Go ahead, go ahead No, no, come on Just don't move too fast I just wanted to, I'm sorry, You auditioned for something
Starting point is 00:59:18 Yes, I auditioned for something I'm about to tell you what it was I'm just excited Go ahead This was a long, this probably was 2012 We heard that part, yeah
Starting point is 00:59:26 Back when MTV2 was revamping all of their shit Oh, this was visual This was, it was a show Yeah, Mark No, Mark, come on, get your show You hear Mark being a dumb Now I know Mark Mark Mark being an asshole
Starting point is 00:59:40 But again I ain't know no better So when Actually Crystal sent it to me Like yo they're doing a new show And they look down I'm not trying to be down I'm just telling you who it was
Starting point is 00:59:50 But they were like They were reaching out to basically They were seeing people who had Any kind of movement on social media So they were just bringing them in And I thought that meant Oh this shit was a done deal I don't know
Starting point is 01:00:01 Again I'm not from the entertainment world I'm telling people Yo, yeah, I got this over here. He never heard from new motherfuckers again. I was mad as hell. You know what happened? Y'all thought you was doing. It's probably because you told everybody.
Starting point is 01:00:19 Stop. Stop. When you tweeted, no, about to nail this audition. You're trying to say they didn't pick freeze for another reason? No. He right. Freeze in the basement. Stop.
Starting point is 01:00:34 Yeah. You shot yourself in the basement. telling everybody I know the audition tape was slamming. Hey, hey, everybody. My name is ICE. Hey, give us a little. You'll give us a little sneak fee, please. Please give us a sneak fee.
Starting point is 01:00:51 I will. Can I preface this a little bit, though? Go ahead. Please. Your word, I'm moving the mic. I didn't even know what was going on. It was like, you'll just read this. That's how I'd be a lot of time.
Starting point is 01:01:03 I didn't know like you need to be. animated. Nick, I read that shit just like this. Oh, shit, y'all. Listen. Yeah, next up, we have such and such coming from this right here doing this episode, and then we're going to be doing this, and then it was like, all right, thank you.
Starting point is 01:01:20 Go ahead. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. What was the show? It was some new shit that was, I don't remember. Like a VJ kind of thing. I'm mad. Yo, my people are going to call your people. It was like, yo, yo, yo, go ahead. I'm like, well, wait, it's the same one we do the second page, too?
Starting point is 01:01:35 No, no, no, that's okay. Go ahead, go ahead. Yeah, when you get home, delete MTV off of your cable box. I swear to God, man. Yeah, man. Oh, shit. I hate you, you and you. I just love the fact that he told us.
Starting point is 01:01:56 Salute the freeze part of the month for even telling us something that he knew we wasn't going to. He knew it. I know. Was that the last audition you wanted? went on. Yep. My choice. Have you been invited to anybody? No, nigga.
Starting point is 01:02:13 Like outside of this gig, outside of you, have you been invited to like speak anywhere else? Yeah. No, on on camera? On camera, yes, nigger. All right, give us a little taste of that. We have. Oh, I thought we blew it. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:30 We did. We went too much. We went too far. But yeah, man, to everybody, just secure it first. This, how would you do it to audition? If you ever audition for something? Yeah, I just got to fuck him. We're going around the room.
Starting point is 01:02:45 I didn't. No, I didn't. How did you audition for a job? Yeah, he has. Audition. Like, yeah. He'd do a lot of auditioning, actually. Oh, we interviews.
Starting point is 01:02:56 God's so stupid, bro. Sorry. No, nigga, I never audition for nothing. What you want me to say? So what's your interview bag when you go for a job? Like when Subway's called you. Give us a little taste. But Subways called you to come in.
Starting point is 01:03:06 You went to the local Subway. What did you say to Jared? Hey, me. Yo. Me me in Newark. And the Subway's in North. You probably got up on comedy with Jared to me, nigga. What was something of your, like, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:19 Bro, it's an interview. It's not. I mean, what did they say? I don't remember, nigga. You had to make a sandwich. No. I never worked in the subway. Did you fold your hands when you were talking to him like this?
Starting point is 01:03:29 I don't. It was 20 years ago, man. I don't remember. I think it's on their first interview. All right, man. So y'all had no. for this show, right? You just kind of came and sat down? Yeah. Worked at Toys R Us.
Starting point is 01:03:38 How did you know what you were going to get? What you expected to get? It ain't no shit. That nigga was in the rut. I got to figure it out. Help! Let me look. Oh shit. That's what people keep saying. I keep hearing that.
Starting point is 01:03:58 What? What? Joe Button was in the rut. Joe. I keep hearing that. What else you got going on? Address that, Thiggas. There's nothing to address. Mark, it wasn't about experience at the time. It was about seeing something. These are two dudes that I told years in advance
Starting point is 01:04:19 that they should be able to do this. Like they have some untapped stuff that they should look into. Just talking to them in regular life hearing their stories and stuff you do it. Yeah. That makes sense. At least for y'all.
Starting point is 01:04:31 Because y'all friendship, I think part of it is the friendship. All jokes aside, He said this shit for years. Like, I started a podcast before that I didn't want to do because he said so. Like, I didn't want to do that. No, start the podcast. And Ish was going to do it too, but he procrastinated, man. Was he going to do a podcast before this?
Starting point is 01:04:47 Is this a joke story? I can't tell you. God has his way of making everything come together, man. No matter what you're playing is for yourself. Shout out to you. Lord up above, man. That's peace. You're like right under this.
Starting point is 01:05:02 You're like right under Vermont. The Lord up above and the Lord right underneath that. Oh, shit. You know. I don't know shit. I don't know nothing. You get to talk without a barbershop cape now. I don't know.
Starting point is 01:05:14 I don't know. You was in that barbershop. But let's get to that. You was in that barbershop more times than me. You was in that. But what you were doing? Helping you man. You was in there.
Starting point is 01:05:25 I was in there looking. My nigger was smoking hot, nigga. That's facts. Watch how you talk when you're talking about. Smoking hot shit, boy. It'd be subjective. It'd be smoking hot. Don't do that.
Starting point is 01:05:39 It's like the 911 wings. Like, it's level. It's atomic. Stop, my, wow. Whatever it did, I thought it was. Oh, my God. Listen. Now it's time for Parks.
Starting point is 01:05:51 I'll tell you one thing, buddy. Nigger, we're about to go fund me. Hey, Parks. You better bet your ass, buddy, by Friday. Now it's time for my favorite part of the show. Prize picks. All right, the summer of soccer is in the rear view, but you can still make all your summer sports picks on prize picks.

Ish is going with Lauren Betts for more than nine and a half points in rebounds. Angel Reese for more than 15.5 points. Camilla Cardoso for more than eight and a half. rebounds and Jackie Young for more than four and a half rebounds go don't forget to put in your slip right this very second see if you can hit big uh don't forget if
Starting point is 01:07:16 you download price picks the app right this very second and use promo code j bp you get one hundred and fifty dollars instantly when you play your first five dollar lineup that's right prize picks is getting to the man on prize picks the official partner of the NBA. All right, time to break down splitting the bill. More vacation shit. Queen Naja was somewhere. A friend of the show, Queen Naja came here,
Starting point is 01:07:48 was absolutely spectacular and amazing. Shout out to her. Queen Naja was streaming, and I'm assuming she was on vacation. That didn't look like an outback steakhouse that she was at. And the bill came while she was on stream. That's why I don't stream, I'd be honest with you.
Starting point is 01:08:04 I don't stream because y'all gonna see the shit I do and the shit that happens in real time I can't edit it out so the bill came
Starting point is 01:08:12 it came to her and it was a large discussion at the table about how they were going to come up with this this money or who was going to pay the bill or where they're going to split the bill there were couples there
Starting point is 01:08:23 there's audio I'm going to find the audio and play it I don't know why in 2026 we still have to discuss bill etiquette but we do so I don't know
Starting point is 01:08:34 Why? High as hell, everybody ain't got it, nigga. Right. And why go out to eat Keep your ass home? I'm with you. I'm with you 100%.
Starting point is 01:08:42 That part. And definitely don't get to invite another couples. True. And I'm not talking about them because I'm sure they had it, but let's talk about it. Here we go.
Starting point is 01:08:49 Let's put the bill for each meal. How? They give it $200 for a day. So they took it off that $1. Okay. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:09:04 Oh yeah, okay. Yeah, we're just lit it by couple. Thank you for being a friend. Don't sing over. I'm trying to hear your man in the background. At this point in the video, they pulled the calculator out. Too much talking. Oh, wow.
Starting point is 01:09:28 Yeah, we could. I mean, I mean, I don't know. And this is when they're outside. Oh. And this is when they're outside before the stream cut off. You got to listen closely to hear the T in here.
Starting point is 01:09:45 I would have went up to pay it and be like, all right, let's go. We'll just talk about it later. What are you talking about? Stop. What are you talking about? What are you talking about? I'm not on content.
Starting point is 01:09:57 What are you talking about? I love I'm not on content. No Joe Biden By the They're on stream We're on stream They cut it off That's that
Starting point is 01:10:19 What do we take away from this And how can we help America Again America needs a mother Yes America needs guidance Role model That's a father
Starting point is 01:10:30 Like dog It was too much talking If you're going out In my opinion And how it was If you go out And it's four couples Or three couples
Starting point is 01:10:39 Or whatever the case may be Customarily How I was raised The men Pick up the bill And divide the equal Yeah So the bill's
Starting point is 01:10:46 $1,000 is four couples It's $250 a pot That's just easy I don't get a fuck If you had a water You had A fucking Louis I hear you
Starting point is 01:10:56 I hear you buddy I'm just customarily How it happened I'm not even doing that I'm with you But I'm not even doing that. I'm paying the whole thing, you know.
Starting point is 01:11:02 This is, and I'm not talking about you. I know you carry your pause. This is what said when these talks come up. Like what you're saying is what, like men have learned what you're supposed to say when these talks come up. I've seen it with my own eyes too many times. Niggas get to, gotta take a phone call.
Starting point is 01:11:23 Niggas got to pee. They're in there for Maryland. Longest piss ever. Niggas sit there and start just looking around. Niggas won't even fake. grab for their wallet. So I mean, yeah, men know what to say. But when put into that situation and the Chase account ain't looking a certain way, men get silent. Yeah, men get silent. They forget men rules, man rules. I think men need to stay their ass home. You know what their
Starting point is 01:11:45 account look like before you get in the Uber, before you get in the car, you know what their account look like. And if you and your chick are together and y'all don't got it and y'all ain't discussed this prior to sitting down, don't go. But what happens is because I agree with that. The only thing I could think of sometimes what happened though is, say we all go on a dinner. and then, I'm just to say, flip the size, he wanted to buy a bottle of something that costs $1,000. And now we're dividing that four-way. You see what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:12:07 If something OD happened where I could reasonably expect that we was going to spend $300 on dinner. And now suddenly that $300 turned to $5.50 because we divide that bottle up four ways. It's not fair, but to me, you're asking my opinion. You got to eat it. Same. It happens.
Starting point is 01:12:24 I don't drink. I'm saying that to the question of like, don't go out if you ain't got it. might have budgeted for what was like in the bounds of reasonable. So what do you do as the guy that don't drink when Mark's situation comes up? I split the bill all the time. No matter what? I don't drink.
Starting point is 01:12:39 Yeah. So what happens with me is and the people that have been out with me that they know when the bill comes, I don't drink niggas and had three over here. And drinks costs. We in New York City Metro. That shit costs. I just split the bill. But in that instance that Mark is talking about, if you don't have it and you budget it
Starting point is 01:12:55 and you budget it 300 and now because this nigga ordered a bottle of Louis-Tray or whatever, the bill is 600, it's a conversation. You get what I'm saying? It's a conversation, yo dog. Where should that come out to? For the people out there listening, where should that conversation take place? Somebody pays the bill. Somebody comes to the bill.
Starting point is 01:13:12 No, that's not true. Because you might not have it to go outside yet. But if you know that that happens once the bill comes and you're amongst friends, then my friend, I'm like, yo, dog, you order that. If you know you ain't got it like that. The second flip orders that bottle. Yes. That Louis XIVE bottle that you know what it's going to cost.
Starting point is 01:13:28 Oh, yo, dog. You listen, I ain't, I ain't plan for that. Shit, that's more podcast. The dude talks. Should happen. Nobody sees it when he orders that bottle. The guy that is on fuck shit, people talking, groving, jamming. That's true.
Starting point is 01:13:42 That guy told the waitress lean in. You don't see it until that shit hit the table. You're right. But when that check comes and that's your man, yo, bro, I ain't fucking with that. You want that. Listen, we talk about this queen of shit. My first beef is with the waitress.
Starting point is 01:13:59 because she handed the bill to Queen Naja. That's off already. She is. That's awful already. Why? She might have recognized it. Because that's a woman. That's a woman.
Starting point is 01:14:10 That's a woman. I give it to the famous person too, probably if I was a wait. No, I don't go like that. Supposed to give it to whoever her date is. If you recognize her? Mark in his household don't abide to some of this shit. Yeah, I wouldn't, I wouldn't assume that. I wouldn't assume that.
Starting point is 01:14:23 I would think today they're going to give it to the famous person. And I've been a server. If I was at a table back in the day when I worked at, like T.J.I. Fridays. If I'm walking the table and Eve is in there. I'm just picking a famous person. And a table full of people, I'm probably walking up to Eve and giving her the ticket.
Starting point is 01:14:39 No way on that. I'm assuming that's the person with the money and I'm assuming that's the person paying for. Or Jill Scott or whoever, that's how I would be thinking about it. If I didn't know nobody else, now she was there and it was clearly if Jill Scott was sitting there on a date, yeah, I might hand it to her thing. Queen I'm just saying it's couples out. It's call it four couples. Men here. But I'm what I'm saying?
Starting point is 01:14:57 It's a table full of people. You've got to pick somebody. Right, that's four men for you to choose from or you sit it in the middle of the table and let them figure it out. I would do that. Hand it to Queen Naja because she's famous. And bigger than that, part of your job being the waitress or the server is you assess the table every time you come and bet. So if you think Queen Naja is the big fish at the table, you give it to the man that you've observed being her man. What if Queen Naja asked for the bill? That's different.
Starting point is 01:15:27 So who asks for the check in this case? Do we know? No, Joe said she just walked up and gave it. What if, what if Queen Najah? Because you just somebody asked for before they do that. What if Queen Naj is there,
Starting point is 01:15:34 Dolo? It's some couple, some not. I'm just, we just. I'm giving it to the person who asked for the check, who said, can we get a check please? If that person, because usually somebody asked for the check,
Starting point is 01:15:44 rarely is a server, do you just walk up in, especially people to spend it money. You don't just, you don't want them to go. Right. So I would give it to the person who asked for it.
Starting point is 01:15:50 But if no one asked for it or I wasn't sure, I would probably be an honest, give it to Queen Naja myself. My instinct would be to give it to the famous person. Or you just announce, you walk over there and be like, yeah, I'm just going to sit this and then wait for somebody to be like,
Starting point is 01:16:04 oh, no, I'll take it. Yeah. Because even in Queen Naja pulling out the calculator or saying, yo, we're busting this down amongst couples, I didn't, I didn't interpret that as Queen Naja don't have the money to pay for this bill. I took that as, Queen Naja's probably tired of being the person
Starting point is 01:16:20 that has to cover for all of the people that we out with, but nobody want to say nothing. So you know what? Let's get a calculator. Let's get a pen and pad. Let's see who ordered what? Me and him ordered this. I'm not just footing the bill for some couples that I may or may not have just met on the vacation. What are we doing? Because I am who I am. I think that's fair. I thousand percent. I don't think I'm right to do that just as a waitress. I know that I mean? You also think of who's going to give me the biggest tip? As a server, I'm thinking where am I going to get the biggest tip from? This tip is probably included.
Starting point is 01:16:49 Maybe. But I'm just saying, even though you might put some extra on it. But like, as a server, that's what you're thinking. This is my livelihood. Let me think who's going to give me the most thing. Now, if you get past regular restaurant etiquette, there's rich people restaurant etiquette, there's no way I will go out with y'all and expect us to be divided the bill
Starting point is 01:17:08 and pulling out of cash. Somebody paying that bill, all of it. Unless it's something stupid. I mean, like stupid, stupid. I'm expecting itch to pay the bill. I used to pay the bill. I'd pay the bill. I was like, when we went out,
Starting point is 01:17:18 I was going to reach for it. You had reached for it first, and you reach as long as I let you pay. but like you know my arm is a little short but but like I would have absolutely just paid the bill I couldn't imagine me and you putting two cards on the table and I can't imagine Venmoing you a couple hundred dollars that feels like that's crazy to me why at our because we got because you got it because you got it
Starting point is 01:17:38 I got like all of us up here got it and no he's saying no I'm not saying just you all of us I wouldn't expect I don't expect you to pay I expect somebody to pay somebody to pay the whole bill when we but if I'm bin mowing somebody it ain't because I'm assuming they don't have it it's a it's a sign I'm just saying it's too small It's a show It's a show of It's a show of
Starting point is 01:17:56 Character I expect you to offer You expect me to say no No I'm not saying Offer I'm saying The last time we went to say less You took the bill
Starting point is 01:18:05 And I was like you're good And you're like no I was like all Like I Me and Flip had fought over the bill Before Literally like Because he want to pay
Starting point is 01:18:14 And I'm like I got it He'll be like no Like he'd do some ignorant shit And be wanted That fight stops Depending on the restaurant He didn't you a tussle?
Starting point is 01:18:23 They're not tough. Tussle and sike that. Flex it all. Fuck it jabrony. No, but I... That's tough. No, it happens, though. At the end of that shit,
Starting point is 01:18:34 you look at the people different. You know what I mean? You don't want to go out with them. I was out with Eric B and Starr, and that's where they started that shit. Like, every B was like... You dropped something? Yeah.
Starting point is 01:18:43 Oh, yeah. No, I was out a long time ago. And that's where it started, though, where he was like, nigga, we're not splitting no bill. Like, what are you doing? How much? That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:18:53 If you want to talk about that, we talk about that outside. We're not going to sit here and congregate and look like that. Especially with no math. Don't become a mathematician. That's what I'm saying. My God. That's a disgusting. Yeah, but I feel like, and again, I believe that life experiences help to build character.
Starting point is 01:19:08 I feel like to know that and to learn that, you have been on the other side to feel what that feels like. You had to be out with a group of people that wanted to pull a calculator out. you had to be out with a group of people that didn't see nothing wrong with putting 12 cards here and pissing the waitress off who got to go individually swat. You had to be there to feel what that's like to know, all right, we can't do that.
Starting point is 01:19:32 And some of it is privilege because you work your way out of having and live like that. If the check is $1,300 and one of y'all come hassling me, like we would fight. I didn't order mozzarella sticks. What you mean? You order fertility.
Starting point is 01:19:44 We were right. Who ordered grat, gran. I ain't had no grattage's potatoes. What can you talk about? And that's what happens when you go out with the large group where they ain't on. And you got to explain gratuity, why it's included already. I've been in every, I ran out on the check. Sorry, Nancy.
Starting point is 01:20:01 I don't want to be around on people, bro. Maybe it's me. I'm not trying to be funny and none of that. But I grew up with a bunch of people that I was in the street. So we didn't really have those types. And so I got those lessons from that. I'll say I got lessons from that until I never really experienced that. But if you grew up on the other side with.
Starting point is 01:20:20 like the people that your friends were serving in the community, like, then you would have the other experience. The victims. You're saying that's just no cool, man. No, I wasn't saying it. Like, I'm just, no, I'm just telling you that. That's where my experience came from.
Starting point is 01:20:36 The victims' experience, though, we put that poison, but we had it, though. Dead, dad, I hop struggling. Dad and divvy it up. Why are you out here and some flies shit? This thing is crazy. I just learned from that. Like, yo, we're not doing under that shit.
Starting point is 01:20:49 We're not. Don't come hassle me over $1,300. Either way, if I'm paying it or you paying it. Either way, if I'm paying it, don't interrupt me pulling out your little capital one card. If I'm paying it, some hassle going on. A $1,300?
Starting point is 01:21:04 You need some of that back, big dog. You know, it was cracking. He ain't playing. He ain't playing. Joe. Call me what the fucking money. You think I hassle you. I think $1,300 is a fair number
Starting point is 01:21:18 to start hassling. Give me that 650 games It depends on many people I looked around at the motherfucking suite At the Jay Z shit When the motherfucking check Kade, everybody was glued to the stage Rock boys in the middle of it
Starting point is 01:21:31 I didn't even know what was no Hey Hey Hey Hey I ain't go old with you Dirt off your show No that was that
Starting point is 01:21:39 Yo that shit came These motherfuckers in the suite Was singing Sunshine The worst JZ song ever It was up there It's like, you know, I don't worry about it, man. This is my shit.
Starting point is 01:21:50 I know a girl's like it's my shit, yo. Hell, you. And now you can't interrupt. You can't, now because you're corny. You can't interrupt nobody watching the show to say, hey, man. Hey, hey, hey, look y'all. That's what came, yo. It came.
Starting point is 01:22:03 Look what came, y'all. Look, y'all. I just went, took it, man. It's fine. The fool? Yeah, the fool. You know, you know, it's a liar, right? I'm not lying, but it don't matter.
Starting point is 01:22:14 You left, you wouldn't even the last one there. You left, you left in the middle of the middle of the There was no check. Oh, you think the check comes after the show. See, that's my point. That's kind of what I'm saying about. The nigga was sitting in front of me the whole show is what I'm saying. He didn't get the niggas sleep the whole time.
Starting point is 01:22:28 There ain't nobody came out with no check. At some point. Who paid the check? I ain't seen no check. Hey, is. There wasn't no check. You ain't seen no check. You know the fool got taking something.
Starting point is 01:22:37 They ain't given away for free. This thing I paid. We were still outside. Right. Right. How about that? We were the line. That's a lot.
Starting point is 01:22:45 That's a good. That's good. Y'all gonna go and freeze. Niggas ignored every pastrami sandwich. That motherfucker, boy. I had cats coming. Cats came himself to make these shit. Corned beef on.
Starting point is 01:22:58 These things are talking about some. You belong to the city. You belong. I'm looking around. You got at that point. Come all, y'all. Come on, you all. Come on.
Starting point is 01:23:14 I can't wait for y'all starting to bite me somewhere. Five figures? Huh? No. No, no, no, no. It was fucking. Five, six thousand? Don't like that.
Starting point is 01:23:24 No, wings. No, when I get the sweet, I get food. That's why. Oh, you're saying collectively, the sweet and the food was five, six thousand. No, no, no, no, no, no. That's why the food. Oh, yeah, that's what I get the sweet. I'm getting food.
Starting point is 01:23:35 Of course. I ain't about to be in here looking parched. No. I agree with you. All that you bring out all the juices and pick them all. Let's go. That's the worst thing in the world. In the suite, still looking like you ain't supposed to be there.
Starting point is 01:23:45 You got to get the cabana? You mean, you can't go to the resort, no cabana. I'm with you. I hit the nigga for the fucking Chris Brown usher tickets this weekend. Hey, he's talking about you want to sweet? No. No. Hey, big dogs.
Starting point is 01:24:00 Hell. To the, no. I'm sweet. I want sour seat you got. No, word. That's crazy. You get sweet happy. They'll learn you because it's another concert you're going to want to go to.
Starting point is 01:24:16 Uh-huh. that's what happened with the private jet when I got stuck in Turks and the only way I can get back was the private jet took the private jet got back I was like you know what that ain't so bad
Starting point is 01:24:27 why are we flying the other way why are we at the mercy of air traffic control I mean you still are but they'll get you out of there it's a little different control they'll get you out of there uh queen nausea we absolutely love you hey drop them zeros
Starting point is 01:24:43 1300 is 80 y'all y'all made that queen pull and calculate out. It was six of them. That's ill, man. Then they had the nerve to say, one of the nerve to say, hey, we were supposed to become something. I heard it.
Starting point is 01:24:57 I thought that's what he said. No, he said. This mill was supposed to be comp or something like that. He said, we were supposed to become something. I thought that's what they said. Hey, that's why you got to be careful what you're asked for. You'll get the answer. They told you what was comp.
Starting point is 01:25:06 Oh, yeah, no, we comp 200 of that. That's embarrassing. Oh, we come 200. Bro, I got a friend from my hood. This is a true story. He my mad. He like a brother to me. Corey no.
Starting point is 01:25:18 Corey don't. He definitely know. Bro, this nigga will go on a date with a coupon. First date with a coupon. I swear to God, I'm like, yo, what I can't? How about it? How about it? How about it?
Starting point is 01:25:31 Hard problem is you're going to respect to take coupon? I'm not lying. Some niggas just really be like that. And the nigger got, he no broke naked. He got paper. Some niggas is just frugal. I promise you got money. I believe you.
Starting point is 01:25:41 Some niggas is just frugal like that. That'd be picking through the bill. Hold on. Walk it back a little bit. That's bad? Like, if she don't know, that's bad? Yes. Why?
Starting point is 01:25:52 You got dick. I'm trying to say, you know, no, I'm good, bro. You're you bugging. God damn, why I would use a coupon? If she don't know? If she don't know, my nigga? You got it. Yes.
Starting point is 01:26:03 Yes. What's your stance? I don't care what his stance is. Fuck him. My stance on using the coupon on the first date. If she don't know. I'm just warming this water up talking. I wouldn't do it.
Starting point is 01:26:12 I know you wouldn't. I would crack you with this. I'm not saying. I'm not saying that there's something necessarily. Ego. wrong with it. No, it's not ego. It is.
Starting point is 01:26:21 It is even blame everything on ego. A lot of shit be ego. Sometimes it don't be ego. There's no shame in the fucking coupon. So I wouldn't you do it? Sometimes you end up going out of your, sometimes you end up going more out of your way doing things a certain way. Like if I'm on a date, I want all my attention and focus to be on the date. Not how I can pay this check without her seeing a coupon.
Starting point is 01:26:42 I don't want to have to corner my waitress, get up from the table, pay this over here. I want to sit here. I want to ask for the check like a man, because I always want to present like a man. I'd like it to come, and I'd like it for me to take care of it. That's how the date should go. Yeah, it come. You slip your card and a coupon in there and give it to her. And she go in the back.
Starting point is 01:27:00 Your date don't know nothing. That's a good, but nasty, though, if they come back. But to Joe's point, you still got to hide, find a way, because Shorty might be looking. You know, girls get to, oh, you want me to. You know what I mean? And you bring the paper coupon? Sure, sure, you slide your coupon and you folded in the eights. Right.
Starting point is 01:27:15 They don't see it. I'm not doing it. Again, at a certain point, we're not talking about the same establishments that's taking a coupon. That's true. That's what Mark was saying. He's going to where they even take coupons. If you're being got bread. Would you do it in Carbone?
Starting point is 01:27:28 And that's just the first place I thought of. Yes. Ask me. If I knew she wouldn't see it, yeah. That would be your last time in Carbone. Really? That would be your very last time in Carbone. No, he said if they don't take coupons.
Starting point is 01:27:41 If Carbonds issued coupons, if you got coupons, if they have coupons, if they have coupons, if Carbone issued coupons, it's a setup. It's a trick because carbone is not, you can't walk right in. You can't just walk in. So, oh, yeah, coupon, thanks. Now we're going to put you on this list over here. Mark Hill. Or now you can come on Tuesday morning. You can come on Tuesday morning and get on a big.
Starting point is 01:28:03 When we're sweeping. But see, that's part of the, that's part of the setup from Joe, too, because, like, that's not a real good example. Like, at this stage of my life, I'm not looking for a coupon. Of course not. You get what I'm saying? Is he rich? That's why I don't think you've something
Starting point is 01:28:19 Because you're a man's man You got to ego You got an ego and a pride along with you That's why I'd be hiding it If I didn't have ego I would put the shit on top of the book Like here you go 20% off No I'm not pretending I don't got ego
Starting point is 01:28:30 About this shit That's what I'm sneaking it No mark Mark I'd be sitting there hold on hold on I'm supposed to get 20% No this is wrong No this is going to be 20% off Can you fix that?
Starting point is 01:28:39 But I said For ego No I'm saying I wouldn't say it like that No I wouldn't know But I was still using Call it pride, call it ego, call it whatever the fuck you want. If you want a first date, let me try to advance it. If you on the first date and you order something and they bring it out and you don't really love it,
Starting point is 01:28:55 would you ask them to take it back? No. Not now. Would you ask them to remove it from the check? No. Okay. Those are two different things for me. But I have been on the-
Starting point is 01:29:05 I meant to remove it from the check. I have been on a date where it's the meme and shit where I invisibly upset, don't like this and she'll do it. She'll, yo, this is wrong. And then they'll just say, okay, I'm. sorry we'll fix that but i don't i've never sent anything back a lot of times they take it off themselves though if you just tell them that you don't like it but i'm saying
Starting point is 01:29:22 they take it off if you never pay it with coupons but flip what i'm not even letting them know i'm not even letting them know by ice if you miss it you're just taking the l right yeah yeah you just take that i'm not i'm never haggling over bill in front of nobody but if i was in a situation where i needed to save money and i needed a coupon my ego would stop me from putting it up but i would absolutely sneak it in there with no problem i'm not gonna hold you if i knew i didn't have it like that? For real, for real.
Starting point is 01:29:48 We just going, I'm going to put my creative brain to use and go on a different date. I'm going on the Hagen, Diles, on the water. You know, that's my bag back in the day. Hose don't want that to date. Crazy. It's my different. Different girl. I'm glad.
Starting point is 01:30:01 I'm doing coffee. I'm doing something else that don't require me to spend $6, $800. Coffee days. You know, you're asking of real, niggas. The date, you don't need a date to get done. You don't? I'm just saying, but no, if I wanted to go spend, again, that hog and dies. I text you consistently for two weeks straight, bitch.
Starting point is 01:30:19 You're going to love it. You know, you know, bitches ain't never had love. Ditchers ain't never got no real attention, shown. Text them for two weeks straight like you care. And first? That'll get it done. Daily first. I ain't going to hold you, and I know y'all can judge me.
Starting point is 01:30:33 But I, y'all know I don't give a fucking. I'm still price check. What do you mean price check? Price match? Yeah. What does that mean? I really don't know what that means. All right.
Starting point is 01:30:41 So, example, if I'm in Best Buy, I'm in Best Buy. I'm buying something. Hey, you check their Amazon? You damn skipping. Wait, you go find a better deal and then you... And then you got to show it to them. No, no, you don't negotiate shit. This nigga goes in to Target.
Starting point is 01:30:56 You're going to Target, Best Buy. Amazon got it, but I hunt it off. Here, look, let me show you. It does that. And they give you to you for that price. See, that's why I keep hair on my buddy. I ain't going on. Hey, y'all welcome.
Starting point is 01:31:09 Couple of y'all do it too. It's crazy. I'm hairless in some areas. I'm not doing that, bro. Again, I just, I don't have a time to do it. I do. If it's a drastic difference. Where you even find that?
Starting point is 01:31:19 Amazon. Jersey Journal? No, Amazon. What paper that says? No, Amazon, monique. It's a rule that all of the big stores have because they were losing so much business to Amazon. Because Amazon is cutting everybody short and they're doing that quick delivery. So you walk in Jennifer Convertibles and show them what Amazon is doing.
Starting point is 01:31:38 You can walk in a store. That's about it. I gave the example for reasons like this. Hey, customers like. like him is why I got into content. The niggas gonna price match your Patreon. You're gonna be fuck me price match match the Patreon. Yo, that dick wolf Patreon, $5 in the streets.
Starting point is 01:31:58 Oh, the street's mad about that. $5. Oh, you're mad about that. Oh, you're on the coupon. Oh, great. Hey, babe, good news. I love when the streets is mad about something. You know, fat.
Starting point is 01:32:07 Raise big, praise me. Hey, when the streets is mad about something, that shit is valuable and profitable. In my experience, I've learned. too turns out. They, because they were saying, you know, because Joe said you can watch my thing on Patreon
Starting point is 01:32:21 so people thought you could just go to the Joe Button Pockets Patreon. I don't know why they thought that. Oh, it's a whole separate joint. Yeah, he charged a five dollars extra. Oh, you got a different channel. It's not even on a Joe Biden. You got a crime time, Patreon. He got a special channel.
Starting point is 01:32:35 Crime time. You've been got a separate channel for you guys. Yo, go up and down. We're over here now. Yeah, yeah. That house is expensive. We got dope pumping on this block. You know, what they're thinking.
Starting point is 01:32:45 That's expensive. And I seen a fan. You got dope pumping on this block. Yo. And I seen a fan. I seen a fan say, yo, I thought we were getting all
Starting point is 01:32:57 of this on the chip to do. Why the fuck you're doing that? Hey, you can erase that one. Because you got buses down with Dick Wolf. They got three different people you got buses down with. That's what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:33:05 That's what I'm saying. These are partners. And y'all, once it hit, it won't be five dollars for all. No, no, that's not true. I know. I know, Joe.
Starting point is 01:33:17 And we can remove the ones. No, no, no. That thing is out of here. I believe you. That thing is gone. It's doing great. Yes. That thing is absolutely gone.
Starting point is 01:33:26 A lot of support out there. A lot of support out there. And Dick Wolf is Dick Wolf. And Joe Bun is Joe Bunn. Stop playing. You're killing it, man. You're killing it too, man. Hold up now.
Starting point is 01:33:34 Let's talk about it. Please. So for those of y'all that don't know, we have a community, which is the space that we found it to kind of do a bunch of shit. You can live stream over there. They got stations over there now. You can fucking tweet, but it's not called tweet. We're doing everything over there.
Starting point is 01:33:52 You can build your own community, build your own community. And one of the things, one of the perks of being over there is the Clipper tier. Oh, that was a big fuss. The Clipper tier was a big fuss on the internet. They was mad. I was leading to charge. I was like, this is fucking. From my fence still?
Starting point is 01:34:09 I was like, oh, man, fuck this shit. So they was heated. But the deal, the deal was, hey, you pay $500. you'll be able to clip up content from the Joe Button podcast and pretty much do whatever you do whatever you want with it. Some people didn't see the value in that. A few totally understood what was going on. And I've been on the internet saying, yo, this shit is a smash.
Starting point is 01:34:32 This shit is fucking absolutely genius. And nobody that is actually reaping the benefits of this perk is coming back to say, hey, y'all, fuck what y'all saying. I'm killing on this shit. but my good brother Mark I'm not killing my good brother Mark Lamont Hill went over there and
Starting point is 01:34:53 paid the five I'm not going to say whether he paid or didn't pay but he is indeed a clipper and ever since he has Like Danny Manning out this bitch He said On God holds Ron Hart He's fucking about
Starting point is 01:35:09 He is a clipper and Since he's begun I see a lot of clips doing extremely well for Mark. No, they're doing great. They're killing out there. I text them on the side. I say, you're killing. Shout out to you. Which I appreciate, man. Yeah, it's doing okay. I mean, it's not, you know, nothing to
Starting point is 01:35:27 you know, for people who still ask me for money for, but it's doing well, it's doing well, man. So far, the first couple of days coming out the gate, man. It's doing well after I'm not even mad to end charge me to full of 500. I was like, I thought Imani asked him about that and he said, hosts get a three month, get the first
Starting point is 01:35:43 three months free. Please. I asked him about that. He said, Let me call you right back, buddy. He got to run that right by me. Yeah, I heard from him since. Free. But he did tell me you tried to go be a crack at it. I got a pain. Well, because he announced.
Starting point is 01:35:53 He got to announce. He said it. I got to pay. He said it, though. Because he said it. He said, you don't have to pay. That's what they do. That's what they're saying some shit when he wanted in the middle, like in the midst of something initially.
Starting point is 01:36:08 It's not sure what he said. And then the conversation changes later on. You bug it. You're bugging. And you walk in a building, nigger. still get paid. Well, hold on. Do I have to sit down? He said things, niggas, so get to some details.
Starting point is 01:36:21 Ian says the first three months is free. So then when I call him and say, hey, how do I not have to pay for the first three months? He's like, I'll call you right back, buddy. That's before we found out just how successful this thing was. See, that's a carrie pockets. And you can make a back, though. The niggas, you can make it back on double it. Early in the game, you got to incentivize people, right?
Starting point is 01:36:38 Listen, I was in the street in 2000, 2001. Listen, you young kids ain't going to believe it. Red Bull when they was trying to become a company Boy, they used to come to the hood And you bundles of a rest of that. Yes, yes. They used to ask, we were in the studio in Queens. We used to take fucking 20.
Starting point is 01:36:57 We didn't know that what you were. They even built the stadium in Newark. Yeah. They would be like, yo, do you need us to go to the car and get some more? They had the Red Bull car. They were the Lord. Every hood, Jersey, Queens.
Starting point is 01:37:10 So. They flooded the streets. And after a while, it stopped. Oh, yeah. It stopped after. a little bit. They grabbed the bull by the ones and took me. Sure enough. Yeah, sure enough. They did what they was supposed to do. Anyway, Mark, I'm extremely proud of you, buddy. Thank you, man. Thank you, man. We're going to keep building, man. I'm going to start adding more
Starting point is 01:37:24 shit too, man. We're going to keep building. Speaking of, oh, go ahead, uh, flip. No, no, no. So, did you do what the other clippers do, right? You just put the clip in there? No, I don't do that's why you see my returns a little different. So what do you do? You just play the clip and then you, well, right now, I just, I just wanted, it's not even about the money. Fuck the money. It's about, it's a, it was an opportunity for me to archive my voice. It was That's all I didn't even I don't even hit the monetize button. You know what I'm saying? I just take I'm just about the voices. No, because like on my page you can see me on peers. You can see me on these places. The one place people couldn't see me was on your button on my YouTube channel. So I've had now I can's add my clips. You know, but later on, if I get the motivation or if things start running low, I'll start adding some commentary on some of our segments. God, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, you go. But here's the difference. Oh, shit. You post on a clip of you. Oh, God, I got it. Yeah, I post my record. She was commentating.
Starting point is 01:38:15 Like, yo, hey. No, no, no, that's what I'm going to. I tried to get up. I was going to slap them. I thought you were doing shit like that. No, dude, that's corny. Like, that's what I'm never going to put nothing to make y'all. I wouldn't do nothing to make y'all look bad.
Starting point is 01:38:24 Dog, this is just a great idea. Some people get it. Some people don't. Like, imagine if Denzel was fly with you calling it red magic. Like Denzel tried to get a homeboy to make him change the name. Imagine if he said, you know what, brother. live. Just give me this piece.
Starting point is 01:38:46 Just live. No, fine, that's a little fire in it. Lightweight finding it. No, no, no. That's what Denzel was telling them to do. You can't call it blue magic. No, Denzel told him you can't step on it. Yeah, you can't step on my shit and call it my same shit.
Starting point is 01:39:01 Well, I'm letting you step on it for five hundred. Go ahead, man. I'm doing a mashed potato on this motherfucker. Making wine out of the great thing. Yeah, man. Speaking of the platform. Right. Speaking of platforms, do you brothers think that MySpace will be able to make its triumphant return?
Starting point is 01:39:20 No. No. Yes. No, because back in... I think Tom had enough time, man. No, I think back in the day... And now Tom has absolutely nothing to do with MySpace. It's not...
Starting point is 01:39:30 It's not Tom. I'm trying to be too. Okay. Yes, I'm away. No, I think online... And they are teasing MySpace, in case y'all think that I'm just home, daydreaming about 2005. They are teasing... Well, actually, they're saying...
Starting point is 01:39:42 saying, MySpace is back and they're urging people to use it. You were saying, shit. I just think that, one, we have the gram for public shit. And then number two, they got Dayton apps for private shit. So MySpace kind of put all your business on Front Street. You know what I'm saying? I think that the Dayton apps and what people were using MySpace for back in the day is behind closed doors on Bumble. For musicians.
Starting point is 01:40:09 It's struggling musicians. You know what I'm saying? It's just different. I think they missed their way. See, I thought they're rebrand. Mark, are you ever going to talk into that, Mike? I'm sorry, man, it's a bad. I'm so used to, you know what it is?
Starting point is 01:40:21 All my years and broke has always had a Lavalier Mac. And so I'm not used to directional. Got it. Yeah. When MySpace kind of fell off the cliff and everyone else, they rebranded it as a music platform and say, which was kind of our initial thing. Let's be a music platform.
Starting point is 01:40:36 I thought they should have leaned into that more. Because to your point, I feel like there's Dayton apps, just better social media platforms. The best thing they could do right now is try to mimic the people who they were in front of 20 years ago. So I don't feel... That's why I don't see a future in it.
Starting point is 01:40:54 Unless they're going to lean into something different. Freeze? Bring me the top eight, nigga. That got me in so much trouble. No, hell. But then your top eight is shown to everybody. Can't. That's the point.
Starting point is 01:41:02 My fuck's moving too covertly now. Yeah. But, no, I think when Twitter came in, it became instant. like Twitter started off as being text messages basically. So now it's not you send a post, a bulletin board message,
Starting point is 01:41:17 all that type of shit. That immediate short form, stripped down everything and just get instant with it, kind of changed the game. In order for MySpace to be successful, like you said, they would have to kind of copy somebody who's already there.
Starting point is 01:41:31 What's the point? Unless you find like a niche market somewhere, i.e., like what Onlyfans did. They found a market that they kind of cater to, even though it started off as being something totally different, I don't see where MySpace, you have to change your name, actually. You'd have to come in a game
Starting point is 01:41:49 as something different under a different name because MySpace is already tied to. Y'all don't crack. You think they could still be successful? Are you nuts? Are you fucking absolutely? No, I was letting know people go first. MySpace as we knew it? No, I think MySpace would make a return. Well, that's why I was letting you kind of go last
Starting point is 01:42:06 because they were on the no side. You and I were on the yes side. but in terms of changing the name, my opinion only, because I don't know shit, would never change the name MySpace. Ever, ever, ever. There's too much equity in it.
Starting point is 01:42:21 Number one, there's too much to the people that, to the world. The world is familiar with the name MySpace. Right, but that's the name in business. Go find a fucking dying business. Go see if you could pump new life into it. So that's one. The name is the name.
Starting point is 01:42:35 That's way too much work. I would take it a step further. I would cut Tom back in. same i feel like if you paid tom and now he's back being the face everybody get that first tom it's a story it's the same way it was before i would do that also three everything community based is winning not to tie it back to uh a community everything community based is winning whether that's health and wellness whether that's that's trading cards you got a final market whether that's comic books, whether that's the fanatics.
Starting point is 01:43:11 Wrestling, whatever. Anywhere where there's a community that can thrive. So, I mean, not only do I think MySpace can come back, I think they can come back and be extremely successful if done right and if the right partners are brought in. You got to remember,
Starting point is 01:43:27 we call in these places, whatever we call on them. TikTok, X, meta, underneath it all is an algorithm. So the same way on the community, we promote, hey, you can come here and build a community without being a slave to whatever that algorithm is telling or putting in your face or trying to make you do. MySpace is promoting, hey, this is a free algorithm.
Starting point is 01:43:53 So you can come here and do whatever it is you're trying to do. I think in the coming years, that's going to become even more attractive to the younger people out there. All right, two things. One, you said, MySpace, the name alone has equity to who? because again my space has died what 07 oh 8 maybe you damn there 20 years later so those who are super super super super active on social media like that don't really have that equity with my space they don't even know what the fuck of my space is you're not you're not you're looking at equity different than me I'm saying so I was asking what's the equity it's the fact that I say my space and people know what it is stop that's it's it I'm not talking about the functionality of it how it works what can you do on there that's for them to figure out but They've spent billions in making people know the name. MySpace.
Starting point is 01:44:42 I was outside for them too. Do you think a 20-year-old knows MySpace today? Yes. But even if they don't. You might have heard the word. Yes, you've heard the word. Then that's what I'm doing about. You sometimes lean into the youth a lot.
Starting point is 01:44:54 Bro, the dominating, I don't know, I don't have the numbers in front of me, it's 40-year-olds on Twitter. Every fucking day. It's 50-year-olds on Twitter every single day. It's 40 and 50-year-olds on Instagram and Facebook. on all these other platforms. So the fact that MySpace will come back around, it still carries a brand identifier and equity
Starting point is 01:45:13 with all of the people that are 35 and up. And let me add to Isch's point. Let me add to Isher's point. The thing that I put a lot more stock in than you, Freeze, is history repeats. These 20-year-olds, I don't think they knew shit about new balances when it came out.
Starting point is 01:45:29 I don't think they knew shit about A-6 when it came out. I don't think they knew shit about Avercromb being fritz, all this new shit that's fucking... Listen, Mone and Mone and me. was here the other day. She was in, uh, she had, uh, what jeans she had on. Damn it. I don't remember. But I brought it up. I said, Diesel. Diesel. She had on some diesel shit. I was like, oh, look at you and Diesel. You got some on now. She was like, are you trying to be funny? I was like, actually, I'm not. You got something on right now. Diesel is out of here.
Starting point is 01:45:56 I got on what? Thembo tega's right there. That's the diesel. Those are the original design. Those are like the diesel from 20 years ago. Yeah. Literally. Same style. See you, you thought I was charge shoot at you, bitch-ass digger. The niggas said, I got some needle in. I got a what? Got a what? I will wear diesel, though. I have some diesel shit.
Starting point is 01:46:12 Don't do that. If you wear them flat diesels, I'm going to kick you through the money. I have diesel shit that I wear. They do look exactly like the deals with the deal. I'm not trying to be funny. Yo, there's a gap renaissance happening right now. Like, there's so many things that are coming back. So the fact that young people wasn't here for it,
Starting point is 01:46:26 young people have shown an affinity to resurrect. They don't even know it's resurrection. To them, they think they're, They think it's new. They think they're putting it on. See, that's fine. My mother used to tell us that when we was little. Like, yo, we did that.
Starting point is 01:46:40 Everything that you're doing right now, we did that. And it just basically comes back a full circle. Bell bottoms, wide, like shit. To be honest with you, I see app fatigue when I look out there. Yeah. I see people sick of X, no matter what X is doing. I see people sick of Instagram and what that's doing. People are sick of only seeing 10% of their feed.
Starting point is 01:47:03 I see people sick of. of threads. I see people sick of all of these places. The only place I don't really see people sick of is Reddit and that's really a news forum. So that don't count. Sure. But all of the places where people go and get the shucking and jive in and I don't really see it too much with TikTok either,
Starting point is 01:47:18 but they're on the list at some point. So let me ask you a question then. If we're not feeding algorithm, where are we getting our money from? Because again, data is the commodity. We get your data. We sell it over here. So especially today to the people that are running their business like that
Starting point is 01:47:33 freeze. Everybody's not running their business like that. I've had offers to fucking sell people to sell the data. Big check. I'm not going to do that. I'm not, I won't sleep at night knowing I'm taking the data. Big check. But your product is different. It's cash out check. That's where the check is. He ain't lying. It's cash out check.
Starting point is 01:47:51 I'm not, I can't, I would have to tell people that. I can't, I wouldn't feel right about myself, but I see why companies are doing. But they got that off the rip. As soon as we sign up for Clear A, they can sell it. But they're, but they're business model is not in that. That's just the added,
Starting point is 01:48:07 we got you over here. See, I think that's the business model. Let's get you over here so we can run this up because that's where money is. We get hot. One of them. We got hot. That's what it is.
Starting point is 01:48:19 I'm playing. I have to come on here and say, yo, we got. Oh, you tell it. Yo, yo, yo, we got hot. Oh, you tell it. Oh, you're saying. Yeah, that should be the excuse.
Starting point is 01:48:28 I wouldn't do that. I can't do that. You know, every one of these hacks they go around. Listen, recently, my vacation is fucking Amman. Big data breach. And you're talking about the fucking high class, wealthy,
Starting point is 01:48:42 most private, protected. Data breach with y'all. And guess what I'm still going to back. Data breach. I'm still going to be. Data breach. And we know what we got over here. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:54 I feel like that took it different. I feel like Monspace is going to become more app friendly. I feel like Monspace is going to figure it out. I do feel like they're going to invest in the people that are familiar like some of the salamination they're gonna do what they did MySpace's arrogance made them fall off
Starting point is 01:49:10 Is that what I'm gonna say? Wait, yeah, yeah I know there's like stories with my space I haven't seen this shit bro It was like it was like Myspace and Blackberry are the arrogance made them fall off Blackberry's arrogance when everybody went to the iPhone
Starting point is 01:49:24 BlackBerry's like we don't need them We got the business people We don't need that we got apps We got Excel we got this we got that And so we catering to a different demo BBM. And then iPhone went and got Excel. And the iPhone went and got all of the shit
Starting point is 01:49:37 that Blackberry was bragging about and it was cool. That makes sense to me. The MySpace thing I didn't get. Because I was on MySpace, I had all the stuff. MySpace never switched over the smartphones. So when the smartphone came in, that was a revolutionary thing.
Starting point is 01:49:50 MySpace was desktop only. Remember, we used to be home on MySpace fishing. You know what I'm saying? For sure. With a neck. Nigger. You can check how many miles. That's a fact
Starting point is 01:50:03 You can check out far persons from you How many miles That green light This bitch is fire She lived down the block On Facebook That little online now Like
Starting point is 01:50:13 That's when they caught Niggas at their horniest When they told you Sarah Was a mile away And she was the height You wanted to wait You went That advanced search
Starting point is 01:50:25 Boy Had you feed out Boy Oh shit she lived by me Oh she's right there Wait till she learned I lived by her. That shit was shooting. Shooting them in a bucket.
Starting point is 01:50:36 I'd have got the most pussy in my life during my space if I have a girl. And I still came close. Ditto. Having a girl. I came close like a while. I was putting up fucking Kareem numbers on my side. I was bagging bitches I never thought I could bag. My space helped me learn that I was him.
Starting point is 01:50:55 Hey, let me just shoot it. Oh, shit. Oh, shit. You flying out. That was fun. They were flying out. They were flying. Now before he knew how much money you had,
Starting point is 01:51:02 hey, I was broke, as a joke bitch getting on the plane. Like for me? Oh, shit. Pump, pump, yeah. I'll take it. Oh, I'll take it.
Starting point is 01:51:10 But then Facebook transition to the smartphone, MySpace Day. It was right. Even before that, Facebook was college. You had to have a college email to even sign up on Facebook. I just see mad different ways
Starting point is 01:51:21 that MySpace could come back and get shit rocking. I don't see it. I hope they got some. I'm struggling. I don't see it. It's going to be hard. It's going to be expensive.
Starting point is 01:51:30 And they got it. They got the money, though. They got the money. They're going to have to spend it. They were bought out, right? Anything is possible. Like you said, people are tired of apps. I just don't know who, how you get.
Starting point is 01:51:40 And when you're saying the right people and the, I mean, anything done correctly can work. The right people got all these apps. Facts. Right. Running. Sure. I agree with that. I just think it's possible.
Starting point is 01:51:52 Especially if you're looking at like a five to 10 year playing like you give yourself some runway to actually give it a shot. Do I think it would be immediate? No. And I think it'll be tough. And I think it would be tough. And I think. that the other companies will try to make sure that that does not happen, but I can see it.
Starting point is 01:52:05 I can see it. What if they go out and pay for the fucking certain music rights? What if they go out and incentivize fucking all the independent artists in the world? So you know what? You sell your music here, we're paying you more. That's enough to get you a start. But that's what Mark said. Mark said that that's right. You got to go find a niche.
Starting point is 01:52:21 We were talking about MySpace come back as the MySpace we know it. I don't see that. I just said they would have to lean into the music. Rebranded into something else a niche market one way or another and then you could go ahead. That's the only way I can see them being successful. But to be the monster base we know, no. I think people, like you said,
Starting point is 01:52:37 tie to app. So then y'all do agree with me and flip. That it could happen? Oh, I think anything's possible. Yeah, anything to happen. Do I think that's what? Real quick, real quick, though. Like, even if you talk about Twitter, right?
Starting point is 01:52:49 Twitter died before Elon did that shit. It's dead now. It's dead now. It's dead right. It's dead right now. Twitter is dead. Yeah. Yo, I don't know.
Starting point is 01:52:58 All the shit you see. Dead. I sent that article in the group chat. And it was news to me. Maybe y'all have known it. It was an article I sent in a group chat about just like the online promotion and all of this type of shit. Like all Twitter's dead.
Starting point is 01:53:11 It's all paid. It's all bots. It's all. None of it's authentic no more. It's not what it used to be. Yeah. So when we say dead, I mean, it's a shell of its former self. I get that.
Starting point is 01:53:22 It's just not real no more. And then threads kind of, threads was a nice space for like a week. And now I feel like threads is quickly becoming Twitter. again because the same forces that overtake one they got everything
Starting point is 01:53:32 they got everything like real talk these bots and and comments and they're everywhere and now that's where the money is now they're paying
Starting point is 01:53:42 companies there are companies that have paid bots and humans on their side to put campaigns together to talk about this to just that
Starting point is 01:53:51 oh my god want to go whoa whoa sorry about that that YG and push yeah indeed but I wanted to play you all this
Starting point is 01:53:59 Jonah Hill clip. Jonah Hill is ready to beat everybody's ass. He's very much. And somehow the internet is mad at him about it, but here's the clip. Fighter, you know, I love Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. I love, except my body is begging me to not love it.
Starting point is 01:54:16 He's talking to Jason Bateman. You're not going to become like a professional fighter. You know that, right? Like, you're a comedian. But let me ask you something. If we got into it. I would fuck you up. You'd fuck out.
Starting point is 01:54:29 I would fuck all for you. And that's the best part. My favorite thing is people are like, oh, Jonah Hill, fucking fat guy from Super Bowl. And I'm like, I would fucking annihil you. I'm not kidding,
Starting point is 01:54:41 every fight. If you see me, try it. Every fight ends up on the ground. Fucking bring it. Who's got it? Unless you are way bigger than me, I have like a...
Starting point is 01:54:53 Fucking fuck around and find out. I believe him. I don't. Calling. I'm calling Kat. Let me hear, Mark. Give it to me. First, that's a real weird thing.
Starting point is 01:55:05 I can use with his people, so I'm going to give him a little bit of grace because with his homies, you know, Jason Bateman and them and they're laughing. So it's a little bit of joking. And he's a comedian. And he's a comedian, right? But a lot of it feels like you're just the fat guy from Superbad who's tired of being the fat guy from Superbad. And even though you lost all that weight, you're still the fat guy from Superbad.
Starting point is 01:55:22 And so you can't let that shit go. Every time he talks, he sounds bitter and angry and frustrated at the world. Oh, really? Yeah. I must don't hear him talk He's always whining and annoying And all these things And that's probably why they're
Starting point is 01:55:35 That's the motivation to be the good martial artist Exactly That's the motivation Like I can't wait for one of you motherfuckers To try me so I fuck you're gonna And you know this A good martial artist doesn't Say that
Starting point is 01:55:48 That's not true How many good martial do you work out and say I'm gonna fuck you up to come back They're disciplined They usually humble and quiet Jaya didn't say that shit Jaws 6-4-6-5 been raised by the nation of Islam
Starting point is 01:56:01 in a certain discipline this is the fat nigga I didn't have to say that you could see that also said if a nigga try to punch me I'm gonna do some shit in his name no just yo dog
Starting point is 01:56:12 John wasn't getting picked on this whole entire life exactly if you get picked on me you get picked on your whole entire life that'd be niggas motivation to be great I feel you I understand I understand I understand why that nigga come after you mom
Starting point is 01:56:25 I understand why that nigga come after you mom I'd be okay They said he's been training since 17, 18 No he's been training Oh 2017, 2017 Yeah
Starting point is 01:56:34 Yeah All right I don't smoke Train with him He trained up at Clockwork in New York He only took private lessons Yeah
Starting point is 01:56:41 No I don't mean shit Why not? Because that's not how it works You gotta train with other people Sure You can't do jujitsu with one person Yeah Because
Starting point is 01:56:51 I understand It don't work Do you think that the private Lessons You don't think that Whoever was training him Got somebody else to I'm telling you he wouldn't go in the gym pop.
Starting point is 01:57:01 Okay. Like people, he'd be like, yo, let's roll. Somebody let's run one. He had picks. And I get it too, because you don't want to, you walk into a gym. And I've had this happen where like you go into a gym. And if they recognize you, they want to be able to say that they fucked you up, right? So people don't want to.
Starting point is 01:57:16 I get it. But from what I heard, the skills weren't like that. Now that was eight years ago. He could have been training for last eight years. He could be a monster. But in the experience of people I know, because I'm not the expert here. But the people I know who are experts, they say, a nigga after
Starting point is 01:57:29 I mean people don't talk like that He sounds like a white belt Who just who learn a couple moves and now thinks he can kick everybody's ass And that's the last piece of this He had a lot of caveats Unless you're way bigger to be Jonah Hill's 5 foot 7 And he's Ozzy skinny
Starting point is 01:57:43 Everybody's bigger than him and stronger than him So that's a hell of a caveat Yeah if you 5 foot 7 140 pounds He might have that work for you He said way. He said way bigger He said way big Way is different
Starting point is 01:57:52 Fair enough, fair enough Too-J I just think that even he got enough money like it ain't private lessons No listen I'm saying His private lessons Ain't the normal person's private lessons
Starting point is 01:58:03 What do you think happens? He got enough money Where he can bring in various teachers That got various shit To invest in himself I'm not saying he is or yeah I don't know if he's nice I'm just saying if he got eight years
Starting point is 01:58:13 Consistency under his belt In a martial art He would be able to beat the average person If he's talking about the average fan In the street That's calling him the fat dude From Superbad I disagree with that too
Starting point is 01:58:24 Why can't he I disagree with that too And I'll tell you what But look, why can't he, like, have really been honing his skills for the last certain money, but still got that chip. And it's just, I want, just, just whoever tried me, I'm still the show. I want to show it. Because sometimes you just got show a nigga one time. Is that possible?
Starting point is 01:58:39 Yes. But in my experience, people who have that developed training don't talk like that. But develop, develop training with the chip. Let me tell you something about martial arts gyms. And all you are out there who are more. Everybody in there is using martial arts therapy. Everybody in there got picked on. Everybody in that got a chip on their shoulder.
Starting point is 01:58:58 You know what I'm? It's like walking to church and say, I'm looking for a recovering addict. You know what I'm like? It's like, everybody has the same shit, and they all have these same attitudes. And what happens is as you grow and develop, once you realize you can fuck somebody.
Starting point is 01:59:08 You lose some of that? Because there's a confidence in knowing you can fuck people up that has you not needing to always say, I'm going to fuck people up. And to me, if somebody said, if you said to him, yo, what do you do if somebody tries you? That's different to him saying,
Starting point is 01:59:18 come try me. Well, he asked him at first. If you think I'm a fat dude, come try me. No one says that. He said if we got into a squabble, what would happen? Yeah, but then he kept going. And all you out there that thing, that, that, die, come try me.
Starting point is 01:59:30 And that could be an address because y'all keep talking to me like I'm this, thinking I'm chump. I want to let y'all know. And I'm saying, I don't know anybody who is that, who is good, who walks around saying to people, you want to smoke, come try me. It's a lot of niggas that can really. And there's some hood you can go to where you don't have to say it. No, it's a lot of niggas that can really fight that talk about how well they could fight. When we was little and.
Starting point is 01:59:50 When we was little And me and Corey neighborhood It was niggas that new karate real good Them niggas would Doing all that type of shit Wishing the nigger would It was bullies But y'all were 12
Starting point is 02:00:00 These niggles was grown I wish somebody in your little Click you and Corey had like a car What? Joe? They was always Whatever little print street they was on Wherever y'all was there
Starting point is 02:00:15 They was always just in Newark He said car saying to drive around, get out of Norville. Joe, Joe, Joe. You weren't going far. Joe, Joe, Joe. But no, it's niggas that, you know niggas that could fight from your hood, that everybody knew they could fight, and they'll tell you,
Starting point is 02:00:32 nigga, I could fight. They showed them. Fair enough. That was they. See, but I don't know that guy. That was their braggie thing. Like, that was they... I don't know that guy personally.
Starting point is 02:00:39 All the men I knew like that from the hood, the rest of the hood told me. No, it's like niggas saying, yo, I got money. Some niggas that really got money won't talk about it. But there are other niggas that got money that will, let the world know I got that's they that's a thing, they security thing. Yeah, there's nothing about Joe on the hill to say. That's the other thing.
Starting point is 02:00:55 He's not training MMA. He's training Brazilian jiu-jitsu. So I'm just saying he's probably never been punched in the face. Maybe. You know what I mean? He trains sport Jiu-Jitsu. Yes. If he gets on his, if he can get on the ground and scoot back and all that shit, yeah.
Starting point is 02:01:07 If you jump into his guard, yeah, he'd probably fuck you up. I'm stupid, man. So I'll just expose myself again. When people say Brazilian jiu-jitsu, I say you got it. But what is?
Starting point is 02:01:19 You probably... It's locks, grappling, throws. It's a lot of striky, striky shit. There's no strikes in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. There's no striking. But if we get... But don't do that, Joe. Because if a nigga get close enough to you,
Starting point is 02:01:32 they'll break some shit. Joe, if somebody put you in the right grip, if somebody put you in the right grip, you will be fucked up. Yeah, like, don't... You got to put you in the grip. Yo, you're all laughing. You're all laughing.
Starting point is 02:01:42 You're all laughing. Yo, come here. Let's cry out. Go ahead. Yeah. Go ahead. Now see, now you ever make me take John the hillside out. No, you don't.
Starting point is 02:01:54 Nigel, once we square up and I shoot, what you're going to do? No, you don't, Corey. You are wrong. The average person walking around the streets, when the nigger square up with you and the niggas shoot you up to your legs, what they're going to do? Hey, yo, you mean it to tell me.
Starting point is 02:02:10 You're wrong. The niggas that be talking tough with this Brazilian jiu-jitsu shit just got to want to get on the floor toss a little bit. They don't have to. They want to roll around. That's all that's taught you. I beat this shit out of fucking Jonah.
Starting point is 02:02:25 Yeah, you'll beat the shit out of Jonah Hill because I don't think Jonah Hill is that. But anybody who, the average blue belt in Brazilian Judicial Judicial, above can control an untrained or bigger opponent. How high is blue? If we're on the floor. It's just right.
Starting point is 02:02:37 It's the belt after white. If we're on the floor. It's a second belt. Yeah, but you have to get it. Oh, you have to be trained in getting that person to the floor, duh. Yeah, just, jiuitsu, it also has takedowns. It's not that simple to stand up once we lock in.
Starting point is 02:02:49 It comes out of judo, right? Brazilian usually comes out of judo. So, yeah, there's wrestling takedowns and single legs, double leg, shit like that, and then there's judo take downs. Show me some. Show me a little bit. I don't want to hurt you.
Starting point is 02:03:07 All right, because fights end up on the ground, right? Yes. If a niggas prop. I don't take you down because of the table here. Just show how you would take them down. So look, y'all did wrestling before, right? All fights don't have ended up on the ground. But most do.
Starting point is 02:03:21 No, no, no. All fight, unless the two people want to stand up. Do I not see online when somebody gets slammed? What happens to them? Let's assume you slam me on the ground. Yeah. Okay. Let's assume you slam me on the ground.
Starting point is 02:03:33 You slam me on the ground. Well, if we do that, then I understand. Yeah, but Joe, without even getting on the ground, without getting on the ground, once we end outside of arms length, and I'm close to you, the person that's really, really skilled in getting somebody on the ground is going to get you on the ground. You're assuming that if I...
Starting point is 02:03:56 I'm just trying to say I'm far away. So if my distance is here, you can fuck me up. You all got to talk about you. Maybe, maybe not. Because now... But if I get to this side of you, why I can... So now... I own you at that point.
Starting point is 02:04:09 Yeah. You guys are trained in... No, no, no, seriously. Not me. I'm not me. I'm saying, yes, don't, yes. So that means you're trained in anything I do your career to do. Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 02:04:28 Yes, brother, that shit is wrong. Yeah, that shit is wrong. He slipped that shit kind of queer. Yeah. If I'm on the ground first, I'm taking it down. Okay, I take it back. I take it back. Yeah, that shit ain't.
Starting point is 02:04:39 I understand. But once you're on the ground, you're pretty much helpless in the hands of somebody who knows what they're doing on the ground. They own you. But my point with Jonah Hill is You don't think he can get a nigga to the ground You gotta get somebody to the ground Do you think Jonah Hill can get a nigga to the ground? I don't got it
Starting point is 02:04:54 I don't So like for me I do moitai For that reason Because I don't want to be on the ground Boytai is striking Now what's Moitai? It's high boxing It's kind of boxing
Starting point is 02:05:03 You've seen it? Yeah You've seen it a lot Yeah Okay So and it kicks It strikes new legs So my point is I don't want to be on the ground
Starting point is 02:05:11 You want to fight Yeah I want to go home True yeah So my best way of going home is a pistol to put you to sleep a little gun to boot to put you to sleep if I throw the right
Starting point is 02:05:22 if soy goes right kick you can go down the way that's all I hear why you're talking he breaking it down your moitai is winning in the jihitoo bang bang none of that is English that's a fact
Starting point is 02:05:35 here's a whole English for you 40 a real one I mean hopefully if I had to bet my money on it I think he can defend it. But he sounds like the guy that took like five classes and it's going crazy.
Starting point is 02:05:51 That's all I'm saying. Got it, got it. You still a white belt or yes shit? I'm just asking. He does karate. How does it come to me, bro? Are you still a while? Just thinking about it.
Starting point is 02:06:00 You had no. You're not going to market. Are you still a white belt? Whatever you fuck y'all got. Is he graduated from being the white bell? Yeah. Leave me alone, bro. Oh, shit.
Starting point is 02:06:07 That's the problem. He'd be saying his lies and then we can't never bring him up again. Why I got, and you got the world thinking I'm a liar, Joe. I'm not a liar. One minute you say, yo dog, you tell the most truth up here, then the next minute you say you lying. Are you a black belt?
Starting point is 02:06:19 No. You fuck, no. You know what it is? It's that you reveal a part of it and then say the rest. So then you leave it mysterious. Yeah, like, yo. What about are you, Mark? You got a shoe string that you haven't made a belt.
Starting point is 02:06:29 You have. Time to die. Time to die. All right, go ahead. What belt are you, Mark? What belt are you? Yeah, boy. I know moist type.
Starting point is 02:06:41 What are? Moisten tight. Moisten and tight. That's right up your alley. Why you can't tell me that on the show? Yo. Why is it private? I'm a blue button.
Starting point is 02:06:53 I'm a blue button. I'm a blue button. It's a shame I got to pay somebody to hit-ish when he out at lookers to really to test the karate. I try to ask about his karate skills. He won't tell. Now I got to catch him when he by himself coming straight from work. Dirty.
Starting point is 02:07:08 Construction boost oil. He thinks he did seeing something nice. Bown, we got to see now. We got to see now. And they got the phone out and they tape it's the new eight to 70s when you went to school nigger. They're taping now, boy. It ain't, Professor Clark coming.
Starting point is 02:07:21 Hey, what's going on? Nah, it's just cameras, nigger. But I'm with you, a nigga, he ain't going to die, nigga. And then again, it's in the street. It's just let's just fuck somebody up. I'm not. But not only that. I don't want to do none of that.
Starting point is 02:07:32 I don't even do that because you give a thing. No, it's a fuck somebody. Right. Right. Right. He's like going to stumble all over the place. Nigg is going to kill for this. He got to be, he's going to be fight.
Starting point is 02:07:43 Yo, I know you from somebody. Yo. Yo, you're my man. Do you know Corey? Yo. Do you know Corey? Yo, who you know, y'all? I'm doing.
Starting point is 02:07:54 Do you know Corey? Yo, I know you know. I know you know somebody. I know your mother, nigga. Yo, that's what he do all the time. He always got you fighting like this. No. Iron.
Starting point is 02:08:04 He be doing. Put a mom. Put a mom. I don't think you let it get that far. Like, you mature. It's the whole point. That's all the point. He would apologize first.
Starting point is 02:08:12 No, I don't think I'm going to apologize. I think it's... That's your bag. I think it's... We all over home. I think it's going to go home. I think it's going to talk. Nah, that I mean.
Starting point is 02:08:18 You see my bad. I'm ready for all us to die. I haven't seen. You know I'm ready for to die. You're following. You've been with me. You saved our life. You saved our life.
Starting point is 02:08:27 What's you're going to do at that point? But you know what I... You saved our life that day? I'm ready to die when it go down, let's go. It's bad. I want to see loss of life. Let's go.
Starting point is 02:08:38 What's happening, nigga. Fuck that's bad bad. That's not good that niggins stick like that. Yeah, fucking talk about. I didn't say anything. Look at him on his face. Yo. If I was talking to see a money right now.
Starting point is 02:08:49 Word. You ate your popcorn, you bitch, ass. Yo. You can't be sticking to Jack? I know I'll be on that, dude. That niv is that to kill me in here. That's in my mind. Flip.
Starting point is 02:08:59 What is wrong? We're seeing you, though. Oh, shit. What did you see him? I could go, officer. And you, I know. Like turn green. I know.
Starting point is 02:09:07 Right. A nigga always get pulled Listen, the difference to you and I A nigga can't fight, he's just strong A nigga get put on his pants But too many times You just got strength Flip, I said you hit that nigga
Starting point is 02:09:18 With all you had And he stood there I did You put your legs in that punch Never, no You went to Kennedy Friday after that When y'all was jumping that boy You ain't put your legs in that punch
Starting point is 02:09:27 What you're talking about? When you jumped old boy, yeah Which one? Which one you jump? Yeah Yeah, what about it? You put your... I seen it
Starting point is 02:09:35 Yeah, because what... Yeah, that dude You ate that shit and said, yo, they're jumping me. His nose was broken, he said, you bitch-ass, nigga. He said my nose is broke. He didn't try to press charges. Watch your fucking mouth when you're talking to me. He was trying to sue.
Starting point is 02:09:45 Just over the day. That's the other thing. That's the difference between me and y'all, nigga. See, I respect y'all niggins, but y'all make the ignorance come out. The other day, when I went to, and my nike, but he wasn't dead. He can vouch. He still go vows. He still got on his pamper, nigga.
Starting point is 02:09:57 Somebody who's got a vouch for what you all. Nick, I put on his pamper. Nick, I said flip-shuck my dick on his pamper, nigga. Fail all that. Pull pull the fucking pass with my neck All that, nigga. That's what type of time I'm on. You ain't do it.
Starting point is 02:10:08 Who you just did it, nigga? Who you think did it? Pampa, nigga. Now, do I feel good about it? No, because you can look at a lot of things. You get bitten. I don't feel good about it. I'm playing on your name.
Starting point is 02:10:19 I'm joking. I'm joking about it. That might have happened. You tough after your friends get tough. When you and your man was jumping home, boy. You get active with your friends. You start on the police in there? No.
Starting point is 02:10:31 You're talking about the studio. Yes. Oh, yeah, yeah. I've seen you put. That nigga, when I felt You put your hip and everything He did. No, no, listen, listen.
Starting point is 02:10:38 I don't want to talk about that because I don't want to make fun of that now. The Ebro had to put him on the soundboard when he came up to a high 97. No, no, hold on. Major collar's touch. Don't worry about it. No, no, no, no, stop,
Starting point is 02:10:47 the shit. Hold on, hold on. The shit with Ebro started as a joke until Ebro was kicking me. Like playing with his foot. Then when I got shit, Hold on. Hold on.
Starting point is 02:10:57 When I accepted to put Ebro in the headlock, you can see Bino grabbing my hand. We got in some years ago. Stop, stop. Stop, nigger. Then I put my hands up like this. You love you. You grab me, nigga.
Starting point is 02:11:05 Watch your mouth. We already love you. A nigga just laid you out the last top, too, nigga. Nick, laid you out, nigga. Where the footage? I don't know with the footage, but I got your back.
Starting point is 02:11:13 He never dropped on. I didn't laugh at you, he blamed on the slippery ugs. That footage ain't dropped. I don't know you ain't no clown, but still, hey, one thing for certain, it never dropped.
Starting point is 02:11:23 I was waiting for. I was on World Star. It never came. It's probably fuzzy. Why, could you pay for another company? It's probably, it's probably distorted. It was distorted. It was distorted.
Starting point is 02:11:32 Niggas said you paid for the footage. Oh shit. Pay for the Lord. But hold on. Ain't I'm such a real, nigga? Because I'm a homer who's on parole. They're lucky that I ain't a street nigga, but some of that street shit I still respect. Me too.
Starting point is 02:11:44 Y'all niggas is lucky because, yeah. Even that when you, I don't feel good about that though. Because I had felt bad. Being around good and mature niggas like y'all niggas. I was home sad, nigga. That's my wife. I'm actually mine. I'm like, dad, that shit.
Starting point is 02:11:58 I got to control my temper. You need your left that day? No. Damn. No, for real, that shit is sad to be at this age and still, like, I hear Joe say, you can say whatever you want to let you, as long as you don't touch me. Why is suck my dick still getting me that mad in real time that I'm willing to risk it? Yes and no. It's something that we got to overcome his men.
Starting point is 02:12:17 It's wrong, though. I don't know if it would make me do it at 50, but it doesn't. It shouldn't because it's a level of disrespect. Calling your sucker set you off, though. It's all about what you. But it's shutting though. These things shit. That's different.
Starting point is 02:12:29 It shouldn't. It shouldn't. I heard Joe say, me. All the kind of triggers. That just happened not to be mine. I heard Joe say, nigga, talk about whatever you. He can handle it different. I watch him.
Starting point is 02:12:37 And Joe be down to fight. Joe said, all, nigga, meet me around the corner. However, he said those words don't bother him. So when niggas say, I'll suck my dick, flip, my heart drop. It's like, ah, I start to fucking see red. The thing that confuse me about that is you're not sucking a dick once that happens. They say, just suck my dick. It's disrespectful, though, Joe, I think.
Starting point is 02:12:56 It's just the words that came with it. The beatings that came with telling the niggins that came with. It ain't even the words. It's just my dick. It's the fact that you... It ain't disrespectful if you ain't touched me. No, true. If you could say what you want for a little, I'm agreeing with you.
Starting point is 02:13:05 Your mother, your dad, yo. What happened to the hood when we was young and niggas did that? What happened when you told real niggas that? It was ass-whopin'n, niggas get shot. That's what I grew up seeing. So that all the magic is like, okay, those words are words that you're trying to hurt me. That's what the hood did. It's still poison.
Starting point is 02:13:21 It's programming that we got to. Yeah, but it's not true. You're not sure. I'm not disagree. No, I wasn't saying that you. He was. Let me ask you something. I'm not disagree.
Starting point is 02:13:30 You got the same ideology if you happen to bump in the homeboy. What's that weird nigga name? Shut the builder. That's a good question. Yo, in our neighborhoods, he would have got shot already. Yeah, that's a good question. He knows where to go to do that. No, I don't.
Starting point is 02:13:43 This ain't about him. I don't care about him. No, I agree with you. No, I agree with you. I'm saying that what you're saying is correct. I'm not saying what you're saying is wrong. If somebody tell you suck they dick, you possibly be like, yo, get the. They didn't put their hands on you.
Starting point is 02:13:54 In theory, you are a thousand percent correct. I think where it comes is, yo, us as men, we know that. this person is intentionally trying to be disrespectful. For content. That don't... No, fuck the consens. What I'm asking,
Starting point is 02:14:08 you all, listen to me, let me talk to town. What I'm asking y'all is when you make that assessment, hey, this person is being extremely disrespectful to the point they're trying to get me to do something. That don't never strike y'all as odd. Yes.
Starting point is 02:14:22 Before you get violent. It does. No, it does. Like, what the chund to build do? Make you pause and say, I process it even further. Oh. It's like, oh, you just want a reaction.
Starting point is 02:14:31 This might be the plan. Yeah, exactly. You want me to do it. So you could shoot me or sue me or whatever. That's what Chuck. Like, my thing is in, in, in, in, uh, fuck no, right. In any state of like extreme emotion, especially anger and hurt and like the ability, the ability to think.
Starting point is 02:14:52 Absolutely. Trump's most. I'm a Virgo. Earth sign weirdo is always the most important thing. I don't even like when. I don't like when Keeb and Ian, them niggas call me sometimes. Their anxiety is at a level that I'm not even listening to you, dog. Like, you got to pace yourself.
Starting point is 02:15:10 Or the more the anxiety go up, the more calming I have to be. Because I got to be able to think. I don't know. No, no. I agree with that. A thousand percent. And I'm asking you all, because y'all just all, your smart brothers. Sometimes for me, what people say is not about the words.
Starting point is 02:15:28 That's what people sometimes get. It's not necessarily the word. Even when you argue, it wasn't, y'all call me worse things to suck it every day. Sometimes it's like what energy is behind that and what is your intention by saying it. So if, in Philly, we play basketball, we talk shit, niggas, I ain't foul, you suck my dick.
Starting point is 02:15:42 Like, we actually, it really wasn't that big a deal. But when I got to New York and New Jersey, I realized y'all take that shit like. But niggas in Philly. Nut mean something in Philly. And weirdo in L.A. Exactly. So at the point where you say that to me,
Starting point is 02:15:55 suck my dick, and I'm on a court in New York, it don't, it don't trigger me for no reason other than I know what you're trying to do. And so if you're willing to say that to me, knowing that is that high stakes where you're from, then that makes me feel like you own something else. So now I'm already thinking it's about to go somewhere crazy because you're willing to say that to me. So that's to me what it's about. It's a bad learning that we have.
Starting point is 02:16:15 Very bad learning. But some of the street smart is what I'm saying. If they walk through, they say suck my dick at a club because you bump into him, like, you might not be triggered, but he might be about the swing anyway. Us at this age. Well, I try not to bump into people too. I had a good one boy. It's me too.
Starting point is 02:16:36 You're my man. You're my man. It's cool. Oh, man. No, I just think it's not just thinking. But for the record, this whole room thinks that we could fuck up, Seth Rogen. He would be so sad. Jonah Hill.
Starting point is 02:16:47 I mean, I'm sorry. And Seth Rogen. I would love to see a little celebrity match with Jonah Hill and somebody. Anybody. You? No, man. I'm talking about like a real celebrity. you would want to watch.
Starting point is 02:16:59 Actually, Seth Rogen wouldn't be the worst one. Ray J. Oh, Jolie Overs, Ray J would be amazing. But my money would be on Ray J. I swear to God my money would be on Ray J. Rai J was letting me.
Starting point is 02:17:11 In the May match, I was getting over Ray J. What did you say? But I mean, I think it was part of his stick. Ray J has made it to where anything he does, I feel like it's part of the stick. But on one of them streams, one of them niggas was talking to Ray J. Cousy. I was like, right, okay.
Starting point is 02:17:26 I'm going to remove myself now. I'm getting out of here because I ain't going to keep listening to this. You talked like this. Why, though? See, that's the point. Why? Because everybody has a boiling point, so I would try to remove myself. I'm getting out of here.
Starting point is 02:17:41 I'm moving. You ain't going to trick me. You got to hit me, dog, for this to happen. Or we got to have scheduled to fight. Come on, let's go around the corner. That's old school, though. I seen you. I was with you and you invited a nigga around the corner a couple times.
Starting point is 02:17:53 Really? Yeah, nigga. Me and you hung out a lot. I did it. anyway. So I know you ain't lying. Yeah, no. Yeah, there's a respect to fighting, I feel like. No, it depends on your age group and who raised you. Should be.
Starting point is 02:18:06 Back in the, like, now, a nigga's stealing you, bro. A nigga's not giving you a chance to, nigga is going up. Not going to the corner. And you know, you'll walk around the corner we're going to really be men and put our shit up. No. Nicker now is going up top, early. And you can't beat the nigga today.
Starting point is 02:18:22 Because now... No, some niggas is a fight you. I'm talking. But now the nigger take an L today. I got, I got I try to get my young. No, some niggins take it. It depends. I just seen the, y'all ain't seen the good, good fight? Who?
Starting point is 02:18:34 It's viral. It's this big-ass dark-skinned dude. Biggest shit. There's some little short Spanish nigga. A real good old-school fair one. The big dude was rocking him in the beginning. Little nigger, he's like, yeah, that's what I like. And the little nigger just started whipping his ass.
Starting point is 02:18:49 Boop, boop, boop. Drop them like three or four times. Great fair one, like a good one. Make you proud. Like, no bullshit. You actually watch fight videos on the internet? That one I did. That one I did.
Starting point is 02:18:59 It was a good one. It's viral. I watch them every day. I don't watch them. I'll watch it if it come with a plot. It was a good one. I only like to watch bullies. I like to know why you're fighting.
Starting point is 02:19:07 I only watch the bully. I like to watch them people get a bullying somebody and the other person wins. That's what I look for on the internet. I don't like watching me. I don't watch shit with a person I like in the video lose. Right. Same. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:19:19 Same. And I never like the bully. So I'm good with it. I don't want to watch real people fight who I know. I'm not into that. That's not interesting to me. And just to tie this up, like, if somebody asked me to go around a corner to fight, I wouldn't go. We're too old to be following somebody around a corner to fight.
Starting point is 02:19:31 Because it's not a life-deaf situation. If we could walk around a-co, if we're organizing the fight, go to the fuck home. Walking around the corner can lead to a life of a deaf situation. Oh, that's the other thing. That's what I'm talking about? There's that too. No, what you're talking about. No, but that's my...
Starting point is 02:19:46 That's what happened to me? You're not walking around a corner. You're not walking around the corner right now. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not. You're not.
Starting point is 02:19:52 You're not. You're not. It will never be a time in life where I'm not down to walk around the corner. That's never happening. Today. Yes. But this is why I don't get you to do. It doesn't matter the person?
Starting point is 02:19:59 100%. Does it matter the person? No. This is why you're such an enigma to me, Joe, because on the one hand, words don't bother you. What is it that somebody could do? This is not words. This is an agreement. The words is what got you said that point, though, Joe.
Starting point is 02:20:13 What kind of situation would you have to be in for you to make the agreement to go around the corner? I'm surprised at that. That's all. I don't know. It would just have to have gone too far. Like, it would just have to have gone too far. Not at this stage. Come on, let's take the wall.
Starting point is 02:20:31 And if somebody is saying they want to fight, that's the old-school version of what they do. Drop the low, drop the low, drop the low. But boy, it wasn't a low because we was all in the same place. So let's walk around the corner. Let's keep this away from the main avenue. We ain't got to be public, the street lights. Let's get it over with and win-lose a drawer.
Starting point is 02:20:49 Everybody go back to the business. No matter what happened, there's a respect in that. and where I'm from, that's just always going to be there. You think a lot of people sign up for what you sign up for? At our age, yeah. Sign up for? I'm not signed up. Wrong word, but you think subscribe to that?
Starting point is 02:21:04 Like you said, yo, let's take a walk around the corner. All right, Beck, come on. I think a lot of people do that. I think that a lot of the niggas that have no problem getting it on. If it ever got to that, they have no problem walking around the corner, no guns, no weapons can get it on. I agree. I respect it was right to do that.
Starting point is 02:21:17 If somebody called the game right now and tried to say, let's walk around the corner, he would walk around the corner with you. I think there's people I'm not saying nobody I just think that number's dwindling A lot of people A lot of people are saying I got too much to lose to do it
Starting point is 02:21:30 There's that And then there's other motherfuckers See in my brain You don't lose nothing when you do that Because in our brain Look in our brain We was around When a fair one was a field one
Starting point is 02:21:38 With no cell phones Right Nowadays you could take a loss As a man you could take a loss Like yo he got the shit off If it's only me and you Around the corner Ain't anybody taping it
Starting point is 02:21:44 I know What happens after the fight though What happens after the fight Or they go on Instagram after you I just fuck Joe button up You just fuck Joe button up You tell him to come up show his face. That's some new age shit.
Starting point is 02:21:54 I'm speaking to new age shit, though. He's saying that's what I do. I think when you want to go around the corner, you're fine windboos or draw. That's what I just said. Yeah, but it used to be a private affair. I think ICE's point is no longer between me and the new generation. But if somebody... And don't get it for the, though. You're talking about the winner to fight, get on it in the area.
Starting point is 02:22:11 Yo, dog, many of times the winner of the fight just didn't want to have that fight again. Yeah, that's true, too. Like, the winner of fight, the win of the fight don't mean that Every time you see this nigga that you just beat up, it's a fight. Hey, the nigga you beat up got all the heart in the world. He's with it. He won't go.
Starting point is 02:22:27 And he's shop at fine fare like you. No, nigga, no. And that nigga wasn't no tough. That n'all. That's what I'm saying. I don't want to get it. I'm limping, nigga. I might have won my legs.
Starting point is 02:22:37 I won't. My head. A modest win, nigga. Glad we squared that away. Oh, God. Yeah. Word up. That's hilarious.
Starting point is 02:22:50 Yeah. You got hit me in the play. There was a nigga in my hood back in the day. And this is old school Jersey City Clinton and have shit. But all the main players in Jersey City like we all knew. Like it was all us. Everybody knew everybody. Whether you were from Farr's, whether it's from me, everybody knew everybody.
Starting point is 02:23:06 And this nigga moved, this nigga moved from New Kid in town. This nigga moved here from like some Oklahoma, some shit. Nigger had to be, right? Remember, we've 15, 16, and 17. This nigga had to be 6-4. He moved new in town. His name was box. So naturally, niggas, hey.
Starting point is 02:23:30 You took a light. Why they call you box? Oh, shit. I see what you did. They gave you two reasons. You ain't got to touch in the last. You can laugh from this here. You ain't got to reach out and extend this.
Starting point is 02:23:41 Do it every time. Yeah, the fuck out of here, niggas. Anyways, to the nigger name was box. So naturally, you're asking, hey, how did you get their name? Turns out, he boxed. Really? That's like Mark Man, one punch. Right.
Starting point is 02:23:55 This nigga did all the working out. So at 16, 17, he would shape like Tyson Beckford or some shit. And his favorite line with niggas was let's walk around the corner. Nigger ain't nobody walking around. No. He's like, no, you're going to die. And sure enough, rest in peace the box. But yeah.
Starting point is 02:24:15 What shan, niggas ain't doing that shit. The niggas ain't playing that shit. I got the snub-nosed for niggis and love a box. George. Yes, exactly. Anywho, man. Oh, shit. And speaking of people that you would like to see fight Jonah Hill.
Starting point is 02:24:30 And listen, slow news week, but I wrote it all down. Mario Lopez. Oh, yeah. Mario Lopez versus Jonah Hill. He's no fucking joke. I think he's. I think that Mario Lopez will fuck. Three Jonah Hills up.
Starting point is 02:24:42 Yes. And Seth Rogan. Yo, dog, Jonah Hill told him I fuck all three of y'all up. Yeah, but he was talking to Jason Bates. Sting three grown men But I get it Even now Jason asked him Hey if me and you had at it
Starting point is 02:24:57 Hey I went He said I won't If you're saying if we had at it I'm gonna win But anyway Mario Lopez is on the internet Doing some weirdo shit And he's posting AI
Starting point is 02:25:08 AI videos of his niece Gargling down Hot dogs at a baseball game While he's next third And like throwing them up Or some weird shit Yeah really really really weird, really awkward,
Starting point is 02:25:21 really like what the fuck is up with him. And a lot of us, just know Mario Lopez for being the clean cut. Not even saved by the bell, but what's the extra? Like, he's the host that kind of, what is he on now that just has him bunging and a bug out? Is it Hollywood? Access Hollywood? Access Hollywood?
Starting point is 02:25:37 Access Hollywood. Every time you know, hotel he pops up. Access Hollywood, yeah. Some people's definition of amusement and comedy is different. So he might have posted that shit thinking it was going to be funny and we might be He does every day. I follow him pretty closely because he does the martial arts stuff.
Starting point is 02:25:54 And every day he posts wholesome family stuff. So it'll be him in a boxing ring and him saying, I'm not training for fitness. I'm training to protect my daughter. You know, like people say, have you seen her dad? You know, so everything is like something funny or like clicky with his family. And I think he just was, you know, the old guy that doesn't quite understand AI technology. I think he was doing a little bit too much.
Starting point is 02:26:15 He thought it was a funny video of his niece throwing up hot dogs. And she looks, and she's of age, though. She doesn't look young to me in the picture. I think so, yeah. And I didn't, and again. You back on that cousin soup shit? No. No, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 02:26:29 And the way he did it. Wait, hold up. Come on, guys. Let's not brush right over this. Yeah, I was like, why is the age, right? He's like, and she's of age? No, when I'm saying that when you see. Is it my older niece?
Starting point is 02:26:39 No. No, when you say niece, I'm thinking, I just thought something else. No, we got you. Yeah. But he wasn't, it wasn't, it wasn't nothing inappropriate underneath it. It was just. It's the internet. Just throwing up hot dogs.
Starting point is 02:26:51 Right. But, you know, people take shit all kinds of ways. That was weird. It was weird. It was weird because it was an AI video, first off. And then he posted a real video of them at the guy. I don't understand what you were doing. Again, too much sauce.
Starting point is 02:27:06 Old guy trying to use technology and don't realize how it was. Not. She's 19 years. Okay. How did you feel about? Weird. Like, what you type in to even make that video, Big Dog. What you was really on?
Starting point is 02:27:15 I think it's crazy. Yeah. Are they killing him online? Yes. Yes, and rightfully so. They absolutely killed them online. I was a teenager, okay. Mario Lovie.
Starting point is 02:27:23 I'm shutting up before you try to see me. Try to walk around the corner with me. I'm cool. There's another one. No, you said you're down with anybody to walk around the corner, though. I would walk around the corner. There you go.
Starting point is 02:27:31 Hopefully nobody's back around. Hopefully, the liquor store cleared out by the time we get back. Why was it always a liquor store, too? It's one in every hood. Always. Yeah, we're asking the corners around the corner. That's why. I hate what.
Starting point is 02:27:47 Yeah, you're spraying color on the middle of the corner. over broadcast? No, it ain't. That's what you're kidding? No. I just don't know. Let me find out that they give me broken samples
Starting point is 02:27:56 when I go to Chancho Love. Anyway, what else is important? I don't want to make it more but can get to the in-and-out shooting, but that's one of my worst nightmares
Starting point is 02:28:05 is to be in a restaurant, be it fast food or anywhere else, and somebody just come in there and start shooting. I look at the exit signs, the exit doors, all that you. I get familiar with a bunch of that shit
Starting point is 02:28:21 that's why I don't really like certain spots where they're not patting you down or the exits is hard to find I don't be with that shit No that was the politically correct way of saying what I want to say that's when I get to profiling that come in this motherfucking arbyes
Starting point is 02:28:35 let's see No bullshit Let's see what the hell's going on Yo nigga ain't take his hand out of his hoodie the whole time he's on the phone Like something like that just happened recently at the Chick-fil-A on 22 and it's just like
Starting point is 02:28:51 bro, profiling that, even the area, some of this shit you can't, you can't, I want to say predict, but you just, yeah, you can't. You can't, you can't, you can't. A nigga just, people fucked up the day. Just walk in and just start shooting. Any way of the hill
Starting point is 02:29:07 and the nigga could pull out a gun and start going crazy. But the probability is different. My stay out of certain spots, buddy. My last topic of the day, for you gentlemen to stay in this area is the father of
Starting point is 02:29:23 the kid responsible for the Appalanchi High shooting where two kids ended up murdered. The kid that did it ended up getting life. But the dad has now been sentenced to 15 years for gifting his kid the gun on
Starting point is 02:29:39 Christmas. Where do you all stand on that? I think that's horrible. Tell me what. When you start going to the Midwest when you start going down south, hunting all of that shit is a part of their culture. From young. From when they kids.
Starting point is 02:29:54 Like my cousins in Virginia, I came in and told the story. My girl cousin, they'd be hunting squirrels with 22 rifles, a girl. So I just think that their culture is different than ours. We view guns differently than people in the South and then the Midwest do. That's a fact. So you're talking about the Appalachia country. That's what they do. So if he gave him a gun for Christmas, he's not giving them a gun to go,
Starting point is 02:30:16 getting a mischief or to do something crazy with the... Colin Gray's sentencing comes days after his son Colt Gray was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole in September 4, 24 shooting at the school 45 miles
Starting point is 02:30:32 northeast of Atlanta. Colt Gray 16 had pleaded guilty to murder and other charges. Judge Nicholas Prim, who also sentenced Colt Gray, was blunt in addressing the elder Gray. I'm reading this for you, Mark, so you don't have to search for it. Okay, that's what I'm reading now. It is clear you failed his opinion.
Starting point is 02:30:46 But he said punishing crimes of negligence is particularly difficult because there was no intent to commit a crime My heart aches for everyone that was there that day for all of you that have been impacted by you, but the law requires that I set aside a motion I don't get to sentence with passion. I have the nearly impossible task of sentencing you without passion despite the immeasurable heartache that you caused grade 55 is one of a handful of American parents who have been criminally charged after their children were accused in shootings. There's one more piece here. The prosecutors argued that he acted with criminal negligence, negligence by purchasing the AR-style rifle using the attack and leaving it accessible despite warning signs about his son's deteriorating mental health and potential for violence. I just think that's the part. That matters.
Starting point is 02:31:33 That matters. That matters. That changed it. I was sitting there like, I don't understand. That changes. That's why I looked at it because I was like, something's missing here from me. That's what is. He's saying you didn't know he's going to do this, but you knew he's going to do something.
Starting point is 02:31:41 But you knew he had some issues. And so for you to put the gun in the hands of a kid that has some issues is not the most responsible thing. And it is negligent. So I'm agreeing. I'm on board with that. Yep. I'm on board with that. Cool with the sentence in 15 years.
Starting point is 02:31:52 15 is a little harsh. I'm still, you know, I have my own feelings of my prison in general and I just don't think this is the way we manage things. But I think criminalizing parenting can be tough because while the warning signs were there, when you parenting your own kid, that shit is harder than it. Look. I'm not making excuses for this guy. I don't know the case. I'm literally just finding out so I'm not speaking to this case in general.
Starting point is 02:32:12 I'm just saying as a practice, when we get on that slope of starting to criminalize people for things we should have seen as parents, I'm just saying... We had this conversation up here before. You know what I mean? We had this conversation up here before
Starting point is 02:32:26 and I said that would overwhelmingly start to affect some of us in some of these inner city neighborhoods. Because that's what they want to do. That's the precedent that they're setting. Because now when little Kit Kat and them be out here shooting in a while
Starting point is 02:32:37 when we started locking up all the parents. That's why they needed a car. I think he should have like five years. I think 15. I think 15. I'm a lot of time. I mean, a lot of people died. I mean, I get that way.
Starting point is 02:32:51 There's two? It was two deaths, right? Oh, two deaths. Two deaths, how many? Two 14-year-olds. And people injured. I'm not mad at the 15, bro. Somebody just shot in the Tesla.
Starting point is 02:33:02 I'm sorry. Yeah, that's tough. I'm not mad at it. That's tough, man. Because, again, you want to send it. You want to set a precedent to other parents. Now the next parent that by that AR hear this, and I know, but that's just how this shit work.
Starting point is 02:33:15 The next parent that by that AR, they might lock that shit up or they might try to make sure that they can't get it because, damn, if he go do something that I don't know he's going to do, it's going to affect me too. A lot of people don't think about shit until it affects them. Rest and peace to the kids that. Yes. Absolutely.
Starting point is 02:33:33 In high school. Any school shooting, period, for that. Yeah. I didn't bring this up earlier. Lioness. Lioness is back. Anybody's seen it? Of course.
Starting point is 02:33:46 Has anybody seen Lioness? They didn't give us two episodes. They gave us one little measly episode. It was good enough. Oh, shit, it was great. It was good enough. She was good enough. And it set the precedent.
Starting point is 02:33:57 It was good enough. They bought Nicole Kidman's husband back. That was my man. Yeah, that's your favorite. We love him. Dynamic. Them too. I absolutely hate Lioness's husband.
Starting point is 02:34:07 I hate him. Episode one, automatic off the rick. You reminded me of how much I hate this nigger. Early in the show, too, we find, we get, we get shorty naked in the shower. I sat up. Me too, both of me. She said both for me.
Starting point is 02:34:28 That's my first. She looked a little thicker in that shower than she did she do with them clothes on. She looked a height in that shower now. And the second that I'm fucking. getting erect. Here come the husband. Ooh, you mind if I shower with you, babe. It's cold.
Starting point is 02:34:44 He's such a bitch. Yo, he's always a bitch. I see it. Then they try to have breakfast. The kids. Before that. Yeah, kids doing homework. No, no, no.
Starting point is 02:34:56 No, no. You missed your window. You know, boy, boy. I hate this thing. He's the worst. He's the worst. Another one. in this motherfucker.
Starting point is 02:35:08 Then at the breakfast table, he'd want to have a smart off in front of the kids. You've been around as the dad. They ain't seen mom in a second. Mom know everything. What's the capital of Venezuela? What's the capital of that?
Starting point is 02:35:21 Mom know everything. You sitting there trying to chat. He just is such a... And every time... Oh, I need no. Oh, spoiler. Sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry, sorry. I'm not going to spoil it.
Starting point is 02:35:31 No, no. Could they really have a real nigga be her husband? Yeah. No, you can't. No, you can't. She can't have that. I think so.
Starting point is 02:35:38 She can't. You're waked. You came home shot. You went away for, God knows how long. You disappear in the middle of the night. We got two daughters to raise. This for me ties back into the Queen Naja check conversation. Listeners out there wondering, where's Joe going on with this one? I'll tell you.
Starting point is 02:35:57 At some point in Lioness, without spoiling it. But this ain't even really a spoiler. Niggers come to the door playing around at Lioness House. Yes, indeed. And lioness get the lioness and do what you gotta do. Lay them down. She wore out, blocka, placka, flak. Yeah, she got busy.
Starting point is 02:36:14 Bow, pow, pow, pow. Guess who run out the house after the... With no gun. After everything is secure. Yo. Everything is safe. With no gun. No gun.
Starting point is 02:36:23 No knife. Not a golf club. Nothing. No bet. He come out and his mouth just dropped to the floor. He don't even say nothing. Get your bitch ass back in the house. See, I think if you're in a relationship with a woman and she's the outfit,
Starting point is 02:36:37 right then play your fucking beta role if you at the chat if you at the dinner table with queen naja and the check come and you to beta then yes i'm fine with queen naja getting the check and you shut the fuck up and looking like a bitch-ass digger in the background but home boy coming out the house after she block i'll lay some shit down i'm just sticking him i hate him i hate him no the gangster part of that is i hate that nigga no the gangster part is that was six months prior mm-hmm they still lived in the same house six months later my nigger i nigger i what i I've rewounded. Me and my girl thought we missed something.
Starting point is 02:37:11 Yo, nigger came to the front door in the middle of the night. I rewined that shit to your front door. No way they still lived there. Y'all still live there? That's because you dating a beta bitch-ass nigger, man. Anyway, watch Lioness. It started out with a bang. Also watch Furious.
Starting point is 02:37:26 They started out with a bang. Watch all that shit. It's mad shit going on. And we get into the finale of Canaan? Don't tell it. Don't tell me. I'm one the last one now. No, no.
Starting point is 02:37:36 Well, I'm saying this. coming episode is the last one. I'm not doing a 10 piece this season. It's only eight. I ain't finished the most recent one. But I'm very, it's doing great. I know what happened on the most recent one because of fucking Instagram, but I know because of fucking Vern.
Starting point is 02:37:50 Yo, that show, they're doing it. They did it. They did it. They did it. It's all I'm going to say. Go ahead and watch it. Yo, man, enjoy the television, man. Y'all hold it down.

Until the next time, we bid you a do farewell. Adio, cerebroderci, ostela vista, a vuas, so long, goodbye, or simple, head, now will suffice. Remember life is a series of moments and moments past. So let's make this one last as if it's all we have ego. Last but certainly not least, the baddies are insecure. The stagnant women want to travel and the closed-minded women want you to teach them things. Grab you with Tylenol, you might need it.

I know Tyler Quali going to be there tonight and tomorrow. Niggins show me parks in the blue water on a yacht looking at tadpoles.
Starting point is 02:39:29 You know, Parks, if you don't get your fucking ass back here, man. You niggins don't even have the decency when you get stranded somewhere to not IG posts. She can get extra lit when you stand. Yeah. Oh, we got more time here. We hear now. This, man. You look at that as insulting.
