Now that I'm having one, I can come and finally tell you guys the truth, which is what no girl dad wants to say,

because it's really a reflection and an indictment on them. Number one, no matter what we do and no matter what we say as dads, not girl dads, but boy dads, if you observe your sons long enough, if you just look at them and how they're out in the world and how they, with their mom and all of that shit, right, the boys, they're never going to quite love us the way loved the mom. That is a fact. That is a fact.

Nobody ever told me that. But now that I'm looking at my sons and yeah, they got like a love for their mom that almost make you want to tell them the truth about who she was. But you can't because you mature. You can't tell them that you know a different mother than they know. So you just kind of got to kind of got it just let it rock and eat that. So no girl dad ever said, yo, the boys just ain't going to love you the way that the girls will. That would have been understandable to me.

The second reason is the one that's a little more important. If you have sons and you watch them and you observe them, they're a little slow. Boys are slow. They slow, yo. He left to his car, got a gun. Came back, shot him in the chest. My God. He died. He stayed on the scene for police to come. Miraculously, this lady survived. And she was stabbed about 11 to 12 times in the neck. And you see it on video.

I forgot where I was watching this. But you see it, I don't know. I don't want to lie. But you see it on video. And if you see that in action, an older lady in a wheelchair who can't really defend herself, but she did. So let me not say that.

I feel that there should be programs or things for free that can help people outside.

They're shutting down some of the programs, a bunch of them. Yeah, they're shutting down some of the program. I think it's important to have some because there are a lot of people that you can just snap. You can just snap one day. And that's the issue. Too often the debate becomes what does the officer do in a split-second decision with a person with a mental health issue on a knife? And the bigger question should be, what do we as a society do with all these people?

Yeah. 80% of people in these jails have mental health issues. And that's not a coincidence. And if you look in New York in particular, like in the 70s, there was federal funding that went to all over the country, actually, to mental health institutes. At the end of the Carter administration, beginning of the Reagan, administration, they got rid of all of that stuff.

And people who were in mental health facilities ended up on the street. On the street. And then instead of fixing it by giving mental health support to people on the street, we criminalized homelessness. Yeah. So what you do is we made more laws. We made the net wider. So homelessness laws, anti-trustpastity, anti-camping laws, which is really just for people

intent to living outside. We basically said anybody who's outside, we're going to criminalize poverty. We criminalize mental health. We criminalized poverty. We're criminalized mental health. We criminalized drugs. And when you do all of that, you end up with situations like this. somebody who slips through the cracks, they're not getting any support.
