Starting point is 00:00:00 Can I start with a song? We haven't been cut off recently. Come on, give me Marvin Gaye, what's going on? Damn, she fine. See, and that's exactly why I was going to text Maul. That is why I was going to text Maul over the weekend. Fam, the number of likes that you disperse on Instagram is nuts. Maul is a habitual liker.
Starting point is 00:00:28 But he has said that on his podcast. So that's not news. It's more so news about the women that you be doing it with. And you don't skip a pic. Nah. Yo, it was a chick page I ended up on. And she had like Three followers
Starting point is 00:00:45 And you was the like On every picture That's right This nigga is Crazy Get Rory See this is how I know That Rory might not really be
Starting point is 00:00:54 The black white friend That I think he is I asked Rory to find Cause I have Marvin Gaye What's going on Queued up in my iTunes Just randomly Get the fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:01:02 No But in your upper Right hand corner Okay give us Willie Nelson's Yeah iTunes, just randomly. Get the fuck out of here. No, but in your upper right-hand corner. Okay, give us Willie Nelson's... Yeah. The fuck is up with Rory? I had to connect to the Wi-Fi, then find the record. Oh, so you could stream it?
Starting point is 00:01:15 No, I'm on YouTube. So you can stream it. They could stream in What's Going On. What is going on? What is going on? I get some volume. And keep all that shit before. What is going on?
Starting point is 00:01:22 Heck, it's a volume. And keep all that shit before. Microphone check. One, two, one, two. Lead of music running. Lead of music running. Glorious morning to you all. Or evening, if you're listening to it in the evening.
Starting point is 00:01:42 Salute to you YouTube viewers out there. I will name this podcast later. Episode number 98. am I correct? You're correct Marvin ad-libbing in the background I think he's singing, I don't know if that's an ad-lib And ad-libbing, he's doing both Turn that down some, Rory Gotta start with what's going on
Starting point is 00:01:57 What's going on so we can appear to be woke The world is so fucked up I have to be woke So I want to start with this disclaimer First of all, hello everyone We've been gone We've been gone because Rory has a job You allergic to the truth
Starting point is 00:02:18 We still don't know what the job is I said one podcaster Because Joe is allergic to the truth and loves to lie. I said they could record. Joe said no. I got back midweek. Joe did not want to record. So here we are.
Starting point is 00:02:32 Talk your shit, Rory. I wasn't going to let you start off with that bullshit. The past has indicated. No, no, no. This week indicated. Joe is such a semantics guy The past has indicated That
Starting point is 00:02:48 Rory indeed got back on And we won't spend too much time on this Rory got back on On a Thursday Rory did say that I I could record without him I didn't want to do that And I appreciate that
Starting point is 00:02:58 I didn't want to do that I wanted to wait And get the full dynamic Of the threesome going Pause For you guys that just thought a homosexual thought. So I waited. I didn't want to do one on Thursday or Friday because I just didn't.
Starting point is 00:03:14 I don't like the short week, and then I don't want to come in here. Y'all half-ass it for a podcast. I'd be mad at the podcast. They'd be mad at us for the podcast. So I figured, fuck that. We'll go on vacation. Rory can go and escort in Vegas for the week
Starting point is 00:03:27 or whatever he does on the side that we don't know about. And here we are. Episode number 98. I'll name this podcast later. Rory lanes across from me to my right is Maul.
Starting point is 00:03:36 How are you gentlemen doing? Great. Great, great, great, great. The escorting is off the books, which is great during tax season. Oh, man. Tax season.
Starting point is 00:03:44 Oh, I miss tax every time we think of tax season Oh man Tax season Oh I miss tax Every time we think of tax season Yeah that's And cause Maul Fucking every Every second on Twitter Or Instagram Is mentioning tax
Starting point is 00:03:52 So it makes me miss him Not every second Yeah but a lot A lot I thought about the homie Yeah me too Me too Shout out to tax
Starting point is 00:04:00 Hold your head Um What's up You sent a list Well okay so Let me start here I'm not normally woke I want to say that
Starting point is 00:04:12 Because I hate The Not hate Hate is a strong word You don't like You just like the fake woke The conveniently woke Hey and podcast people
Starting point is 00:04:20 I haven't spoken to Rory or Maul We have no idea Where we're going here With any of this But that's how fucked up the world is that you just, when you, you're kind of just talking about the same thing, even with people you haven't
Starting point is 00:04:31 spoken to. So here we are. The airports. The Muslim ban. There is one, yes. The Muslim ban, the religion ban, the ban, the minority ban, the colored ban, the ban, the minority ban, the colored ban, the ban, whatever you want to call the ban, the ban is there. If you have not been living under a rock, there's a ban.
Starting point is 00:04:56 That's to the extent of my knowledge. Now, this is not CNN, so hopefully you guys are not. Let's get that on record again. Hopefully you guys are not depending on me for your political news. However, I do think it's very important to be aware. So there's a Muslim ban. I don't know. Well, not a Muslim ban. What's the correct term? Because I can't keep saying that. Dog, it's a Muslim ban. It is, right? All those countries are Muslim based. It's a Muslim ban.
Starting point is 00:05:22 It is, right? All those countries are, yeah, Muslim-based. So now, cool, that's not news. That's not news. But my question is this, and I think, and I want to ask them all specifically, or Rory, I can't remember which one of you niggas it was, but one of y'all was like,
Starting point is 00:05:40 Donald Hillary, what's the difference? I want you to own it. Whichever one of you was Oh no no no Everybody looks fucking confused This podcast We can find it I want Find it
Starting point is 00:05:49 One of you Ooh we're gonna get an intern On this podcast I said One of you said Donald Hillary What's the difference
Starting point is 00:05:57 And then I went into A long soliloquy About how I prefer my racism Be hidden We had that conversation On this podcast My memory is real bad So I don't remember soliloquy about how I prefer my racism be hidden. We had that conversation on this podcast. My memory is real bad, so I don't remember.
Starting point is 00:06:12 And y'all don't have to own up to it, adult men who won't be held accountable. That's fine. I'm going to skip over your bullshit because I know neither of us said that. But why do you like your racism hidden? I'm curious. Because of this. Because of this. Because of this. Because of this.
Starting point is 00:06:27 Hillary's not doing this. Say what you want about her say what you want about the clinton administration say what you want about the emails say what you she's not doing this no other president has done this though you said say what no other president has done what donald trump has done so what does that mean it's the hillary or donald doesn't matter who i'm just saying, I want all of the people forget about you two gentlemen. I want all of the people who said, what's the difference? To recognize the difference now. This is the
Starting point is 00:06:54 difference. That's all. I want people to recognize the difference that's occurring. Sage Steele. I didn't know that Sage Steele was cooned out. Give me the background on this one. I've read that on the list.
Starting point is 00:07:08 Sage Steele. Now, here's some backstory that I didn't know. Well, no, we will get to that later. Sage Steele had a flight to Houston for Super Bowl. She had to walk two miles along with some other people, and she wrote a long paragraph on Instagram about her feelings about having to walk two miles and almost missing her flight and seeing tears and angst on the faces of immigrants who missed their flights. That's what Sage Steele decided to Instagram about. They tore Sage Steele's ass the fuck apart.
Starting point is 00:07:46 So she's upset that she had to walk because of the protest? She's upset that she had to walk because the stupid protesters are disrupting things. Well, that is a protest. The point of a protest is to disrupt things. I was a bit confused there. And I think it's a moment to step outside yourself and your selfishness, if you will.
Starting point is 00:08:09 But now, so I did... So now then, people informed me that when the whole... She had a back and forth with Mike Evans, a very public back and forth, and she was very all lives matter in their exchange.
Starting point is 00:08:28 So then I said, oh, okay oh okay well and then they started showing us pictures of her family which i hate when people do that i hate when family and all of that get involved but her husband's white i think it's valid today kids white it's all valid valid to your it's valid to your views and your in your fucking thoughts on where's all lives matter Where's All Lives Matter now, though? Where's that campaign now? I mean, it's an interesting point because Muslims would fall under All Lives, no? Right. And it seems like the All Lives Matter crowd is the ones championing this Muslim ban because they now feel safer for some reason.
Starting point is 00:09:01 I want to see paperwork on his wife. That's what they're calling for now, of the some of the democrats everybody knows that she's not she wasn't his mother's an immigrant right listen I'm no lawyer people uh I would suggest that people get lawyered up um you know people are doing their west their best to spread information and spread awareness. Apparently there's a forum. I don't know the name of the forum because I'm not fact-checking right now, but it's the I-407 or some shit that they're trying to get people to sign that basically relinquishes you of your rights.
Starting point is 00:09:38 You just want to be aware. Get informed. Get informed. Find out all the shit that the racist people are doing. Yeah, I mean, At this point in your life You should know Not to sign anything If you don't know
Starting point is 00:09:48 What you're signing I don't think you need A lawyer for that So now I want a lawyer Cause I'm dumb And I wanna know What I'm signing
Starting point is 00:09:55 No I'm saying You just naturally Wouldn't sign something Like if you don't know What it is You would be surprised All your favorite rappers Sign something
Starting point is 00:10:03 And are getting fucked Well If you've watched Any biopic you've seen every artist sign something and does not read it yeah a lot of people sign shit did you see Rudy Giuliani who I thought I don't want to give light to but of course you know we have to let's give light to him Rory did you see him on Fox News I have the clip of him explaining what this Muslim ban actually is. Oh, I was looking for this clip.
Starting point is 00:10:28 I want to hear it. Let's hear it. Let's hear it. He's been airborne since the first 24 hours. He doesn't sleep. I know this. I know that. We both know him personally, right?
Starting point is 00:10:46 This is Giulie's voice Ask you about this man. I want to ask you about this ban in the protests does the ban have anything to do with religion How did the president decide the seven countries? I understand the permanent ban on the refugees, okay? Okay, talk to me tell you the whole history of it So right when he first announced that he said Muslim ban a permanent ban on the refugees. Okay, talk to me. I'll tell you the whole history of it. When he first announced it, he said Muslim ban. He called me up. He said, put a commission together. Show me the right way to do it legally. I put a commission together with Judge McCasey,
Starting point is 00:11:16 with Congressman McCall, Pete King, very expert lawyers on this. And what we did was we focused on, instead of religion, danger. The areas of the world that create danger for us, which is a factual basis, not a religious basis. Perfectly legal, perfectly sensible, and that's what the ban is based on. It's not based on religion.
Starting point is 00:11:41 It's based on places where There are Turn this off I do want to note that he blatantly explained A loophole for racism That makes it legal I don't think we need loopholes And shit like that anymore It's overtly in your face
Starting point is 00:12:00 The racism Be careful Especially if you live in a stand your ground state I'm very I'm very vocal about that um well also to that note about it being about danger of course you know there's always left and right news and it's all biased more or less but I did watch a clip of a credible news source of breaking down those countries that have bans and how many Americans they've harmed in the last 20 years. And they were all zero.
Starting point is 00:12:28 And then it's something going around that all the countries that are banned are not. Trump is not financially involved with any of these countries. He doesn't have any hotels, resorts. Well, Trump's position is very clear. And again, I'm not going to stay on politics. Two things I refuse to discuss extensively, especially with strangers, politics and religion. But Trump's objective is clear, the same as many presidents before him. Fat in the wallet, get your money up. I'm not mad at the hustler in him. You know, we were raised wrong coming up. We were raised to think that the president was just some type of prestigious position that,
Starting point is 00:13:08 you know, nah, that shit is a scam. It's been a scam and it's more, more of a scam today than ever. So I'm not mad at him.
Starting point is 00:13:16 I'm not mad at Donald Trump getting his money up. But all the other shit I'm a little confused. That's a horrible thing to say. I'm not mad at him getting his money up. That's a really shitty
Starting point is 00:13:24 thing to say. What president before him didn them getting this money up. That's a really shitty thing to say. What president before him didn't get their money up? I'm saying that's horrible for them too. But to suggest I'm not mad at someone because they're hustling racism to make money? No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no. I'm not. I'm not just going to let you say that. I'm not saying that, Roy.
Starting point is 00:13:40 Respect the hustler. No. I'm not saying that. I'm saying I respect him getting a dollar if that was his objective. I don't. I don't. I think it's worse that a dollar was his objective. I'm not mad at him.
Starting point is 00:13:51 I'm not mad at Trump suing the city of Ossosawa because he thinks that he should be paying less taxes for his golf club that he has there. I'm not mad at him leveraging his position. Many of us do it. I agree with has there. I'm not mad at him leveraging his position. Many of us do it. I agree with you there. I'm mad at the bigotry and the racism and the other stuff. That's all. That's my objective.
Starting point is 00:14:16 That's just me being objective. I'm not mad at the taxing there. I'm just saying in this instance, to make a dollar off this is terrible. Because you want affecting people's just in a specific religion and race all right i want to say i want to interrupt you and say i don't care but i have to care so i do care so i'm not interrupting you um homegirl sally yates fired uh y'all listen i want to tell y'all to just go to cnn i i want to tell y'all to just go to CNN. I want to tell y'all to just go to CNN and get your information.
Starting point is 00:14:48 Sally Yates is an Obama appointee who was fired. Oh, I didn't read this. Who was fired from her position. I think she was, she wasn't Attorney General. Whatever her position was, she got fired for saying there's some unlawful shit going on. And she was a prosecutor For 30 years Or over 30 years
Starting point is 00:15:07 So it's wild But the crazy part is That her job is to oppose Certain things Yeah And she was fired for opposing Yeah That's fucking crazy
Starting point is 00:15:17 They're arresting people Over at Ramon Sessions I don't know what's going on man Just turn to CNN Turn to CNN No matter what time of the day, you can turn there and see the same shit
Starting point is 00:15:27 because that's all they're talking about. The funny part about all this is, you know, a lot of the same people that were on CNN championing for Trump during the election,
Starting point is 00:15:38 they're, like, confused right now. Y'all voted for this nigga, man. Right. Y'all voted for him. Check this out. I'm not leaving my crib for four years. I already told niggas.
Starting point is 00:15:48 I told niggas my plan ages ago. I'll be home. Right. I'll be home. That's that. So that's all I have about. Oh, Sage. I'm so mad at Sage still.
Starting point is 00:15:59 They didn't fire her. No, but the first. They didn't do nothing to her. They can't do nothing to her because public opinion, you can say what you want on her personal twitter handle i like that dan lebitard always speaks up on uh race issues for espn he straddles the line like he don't straddle the line he just says what the fuck needs to be said he don't do the shit that steven a and them niggas do he gets right to it he had a lot to say about Sage Steele and her coon act. Stephen A, he tries to go with what I believe he thinks,
Starting point is 00:16:30 but then always pulls back and tries to balance that line to keep his fucking job, which I also understand. He is on ESPN. It's not an opinion blog. Speaking of ESPN, and we're getting off of them, congratulations to Jamel and Mike On their 6 o'clock sports center That looks great
Starting point is 00:16:47 I love the promo I love all of that shit I haven't seen y'all in a while Have we spoken about Chrisette Michelle? Did we speak about that last week? I don't know It's a lot of cool shit going on
Starting point is 00:16:55 No It's tough to keep up with it No I don't think we talked about it Have we not recorded Since the inauguration? No We've recorded Oh no no, no.
Starting point is 00:17:05 We haven't. Chrisette Michelle's been going on for a little bit. She's been on like a promo run of this shit. I definitely feel like we have not spoken about that. But we ain't going to spend too much time on it. She wanted to check and that was the end of that. Right? Because it's a lot to get to today.
Starting point is 00:17:19 That's not what she said. She said she was there to be, you know, to kind of like show them who we are and this, that, and the third. I know. Don't piss on me and tell me it's raining, Chrisette, Michelle, or your people. Just tell me that you went and got the check. Don't tell me that you're trying to convince a 70-plus-year-old man that his ideologies are a bit off. It wasn't even there. I wouldn't give a fuck. No, no even there. I wouldn't give a fuck.
Starting point is 00:17:45 No, no, no. I wouldn't give a fuck if he... That was not in defense. That was quite the opposite. Yeah. He didn't even show up. She was singing at the ball. That matters none
Starting point is 00:17:53 because I don't think her ass went there with the idea of let me talk to him and tell him what my people think. Really? She was trained to say that after the fight. Get the fuck out of here
Starting point is 00:18:03 with this shit, man. That's PR work. Just tell me you took the check. I watched her Breakfast Club interview just because I was curious to? She was trained to say that. Man, be able to get the fuck out of here with this shit, man. That's PR work. Just tell me you took the check. I watched her Breakfast Club interview just because I was curious to see what she had to say besides the little bullshit paragraph she put out, which made no goddamn sense. And Charlamagne made up the point to her that, yeah, you're saying you went there to speak for black people but said nothing about not on the stage, didn't wear a shirt. She wore a Basquiat dress, though. Which I don't know why she kept running back to this Basquiat thing. She's like, Google it.
Starting point is 00:18:30 You should know who Basquiat is. I don't know how much that statement really sat with everyone, Chrisette. I like Basquiat, too. I'm glad that people are – the climate, The current climate Is making you What's the word I'm looking for You know I'm just gonna Use Ebonics
Starting point is 00:18:56 You kinda gotta just choose up man People are standing firm in their beliefs And they're speaking up about them And it's kinda making you look at people funny because normally politics and religion is the elephant in the room. So now that people are so vocal about it, it's making me look at people a little funny. Which, perfect segue to why I'm looking at Maul a little funny. And Rory, I want y'all to answer for your patriotism with your football team. Okay.
Starting point is 00:19:28 Tom Brady. I don't care about what any athlete does away from their school. No, no, no. I never have. No, no, no. I never have. No. This isn't the first time Brady did some wild shit or said some wild shit.
Starting point is 00:19:42 I don't care what Tom Brady does. I don't care about when kobe snitched i didn't give a fuck i don't care what any of these niggas do away from the jersey i don't give a fuck as long as they're not killing no babies and harming them i don't give a fuck i don't care what tom brady stands on that's your take too i don't give a fuck well they're human just like i do agree i care about tom brady the football player i don't give a fuck. They're humans. I do agree. I care about Tom Brady the football player. I don't care about what this man thinks about the presidency and none of that shit. Hey, listeners,
Starting point is 00:20:10 Maul and Rory are both Patriot fans. Yeah. Congratulations, by the way. Thank you. Tom Brady, Peyton Manning, along with a host of others, are openly supporting and endorsing Donald Trump.
Starting point is 00:20:25 I didn't have any snaps. Who wants to kill niggers. Maul's a nigger. I'm a nigger. I mean, listen, man. I don't. Rory's a nigger. I don't care about Tom Brady.
Starting point is 00:20:32 Pale shit. I don't care about Tom Brady away from the field. I don't. Well, back to your point of you're not going to change the mind of a 70-year-old man. Tom Brady is not 70, but I know that he believes that. I don't want him to now go on camera and say, well, you know, I don't really care about politics, but I don't agree with Trump.
Starting point is 00:20:51 Like, shut up. I know you think that way. I don't need you to lie on camera. I already know you think that way. Listen, just get us in the fucking end zone next Sunday is all I care about. What do you want him to do? Speaking of next Sunday,
Starting point is 00:21:04 would you two Patriot fans like to hear from conspiracy theorist Joe? Yes, Joe. I don't think we have a choice, so yes, I would love to hear from you. All right. Y'all are going to laugh at this one. I laugh at all your conspiracy theories, so go ahead. Hey, this one, they're going to really think I'm... You're going deep on this one?
Starting point is 00:21:22 Y'all think I'm nuts. Okay. Now, because Rory introduced a conversation gonna really think i'm you're going deep on this one to pause y'all think i'm nuts okay now because rory introduced a conversation and where he was just trying to click bait me or troll me into well why does everyone say the patriots are cheaters that's what he gave me the other day right dc so i engaged him for a little bit but then let me tell you what happened. Kyle Shanahan, the offensive coordinator for the Atlanta Falcons. Did y'all hear about this? No.
Starting point is 00:21:50 Media day. He lost his book bag. Guess what was in the book bag? The playbook. The Super Bowl offensive strategy. Everybody relax. Everybody relax Everybody relax This book bag
Starting point is 00:22:09 So there was a frenzy and a panic As you could imagine Throughout the entire team Because the book bag was gone For 30 minutes And then it was returned Patriot fans Don't say shit Don't say shit Don't say shit
Starting point is 00:22:26 Don't say shit Don't say shit Who returned the bag? A reporter Oh What do you mean? What does it have to do with First of all
Starting point is 00:22:37 Yo You cannot Talk sports I got the counter here With a Patriot fan Here's the conspiracy To make Patriots seem like cheaters every fucking time. This was made up.
Starting point is 00:22:48 What fucking coach brings his book bag with all the plays to the Super Bowl to fucking media day and leaves it on the side? This is made up to make the Patriots look like they're cheating. I'm not buying your fucking conspiracy. Yeah, that's bullshit. Listeners. Why does he have the playbook? Listener. Word.
Starting point is 00:23:03 Listeners. He went to go answer does he like turkey or ham with all the fucking playbooks? Yeah, no, that doesn't make any sense. Listeners. Why does he have the playbook? Listeners. Word. Listeners. He went to go answer, does he like turkey or ham with all the fucking playbooks? Come on. Listeners, I'm not arguing with Maul and Rory. Why? I'm just saying to you guys that the offensive coordinator's book bag with all of the plans magically disappeared for 30 whole minutes, and then was returned. Listen, this is my thing about that.
Starting point is 00:23:28 That's against the Patriots. Okay. That's all I'm saying. Okay, but you're implying something, so I have to respond to that. No, I'm not implying something. No, you are. The Patriots are proven master manipulators.
Starting point is 00:23:41 Okay, so here's- I love them niggas. They're the greatest. Okay, here's my thing. Y'all are cheaters. Here's my thing. The book bag got missing. Okay, so let's go to this, right?
Starting point is 00:23:51 You think Bill Belichick don't have all of that nigga shit in his iPhone inbox now? You kidding me? Because it was made up. Here's my thing, though, Joe. That whole story was made up by Atlanta. Here's my thing about sports, right? There's only so many plays that you can run in sports when you think about it, right?
Starting point is 00:24:10 Yo, Mo put this voice on. No, no, no. Now he just right. No, no, seriously, listen. In basketball, right, there's plays that, there's only, how many plays can you actually create in any sport? Just think about that for a second.
Starting point is 00:24:25 In basketball, you have a pick and roll. Football is probably not a good example. There's a lot you could do. No, but even in football, as a coach, I can kind of see where the team is lining up, what they're ready to do. I might not know exactly what they're, but you can kind of gauge, okay, this is a run play. This is a pass. They're going to throw under here, whatever. My thing is, how is it cheating like let's
Starting point is 00:24:46 go back to the let's go back to the deflate gate mom we're not gonna no no listen no no we are because you implied something so i have to defend my team prove your point deflate gate a ball being less heavier than it really is i'm just asking the question what does that have to do with cheating like how if i take a little bit of air out of the ball and throw it i still have to get into the end zone that doesn't guarantee a touchdown yo do y'all hear this nigga no look right or wrong yes maul a touchdown means you have to get in the end zone no but what i'm saying is how does me deflating a football you introducing something new i didn't know i'm not talking about you not talking about history of Patriots cheating. That's what y'all have
Starting point is 00:25:25 recorded people's plays and use them. It wasn't the only team that I didn't say you were now niggas book bag is missing before the Super Bowl. That's all I'm saying
Starting point is 00:25:35 apply that because now what you're trying to do is if we win the Super Bowl, you're going to go right back to this and say, well, they had to fucking playbook. Of course, they're going
Starting point is 00:25:42 to win. Why this is exactly what you're going to do. No, I'm good. I'm saying if y'all magically, in the last weaning seconds, anticipate the other team's play again to win it. Oh, my God. Here we go. So we anticipated that last play against Seattle.
Starting point is 00:25:58 I'm just saying, let's just look at things fairly, and that's it. That's fucking. Now, I did want to get to you in sports. Okay. Because you have to tell me what's happening with your man LeBron, because you love LeBron. You love a lot of niggas that, oh, man. And we're going to get into your Ross love. Okay.
Starting point is 00:26:16 LeBron is a great player. I do want to have that debate that we had in the group chat, but go ahead. LeBron is a great player. Well, we can't have it because Ice is not here, number one. But Ice can't be objective when it comes to Jeezy, so maybe it's better that not here, number one. Ice can't be objective when it comes to Jeezy. And Maul can't be objective? I'm very objective when it comes to Ross. I think Maul can be objective.
Starting point is 00:26:31 Are you a Ross fan? Yeah, of course I like Ross. You like who? Ross. Oh. Alright. Alright, well let's get to that later. So what about LeBron? Tell me, were you standing in the LeBron Barkley shit? I think what Barkley said was correct and what about LeBron? Tell me Were you standing In LeBron Barkley shit? I don't
Starting point is 00:26:46 I think what Barkley said Was correct And I think LeBron was correct For responding And that was sports Ladies and gentlemen That was
Starting point is 00:26:53 That was more with sports That's it Toss it back to you Craig That's it Fuck Jesus I do Barkley Let's inform the listeners
Starting point is 00:27:01 See why Channel 11 Never called you Barkley was correct In his In his saying that LeBron needs to stop whining and stop asking for help and this, that, and the third. I think he was correct, but LeBron was correct for it. Listen, fuck all of that.
Starting point is 00:27:14 This is what matters. This is the important thing here. We all from the hood to hood. We don't care about what they're arguing about. Tell me who has the better sneaker. Between Barkley or LeBron? Because that's how we have to settle who was right and wrong in this.
Starting point is 00:27:31 Well, LeBron has... I don't care about facts. LeBron has more sneakers. Who has the better sneaker, Barkley or LeBron? Take the best Barkley, which is really... Barkley is a classic. Right.
Starting point is 00:27:48 Against the best LeBron. Who has the best sneaker? Ooh, you lucky I got Jeopardy music. Your Harlem card on the line. I can't answer this fairly because I hate every LeBron sneaker. LeBron had the South Beaches, which is crazy. Not for me. The one before that was crazy.
Starting point is 00:28:10 I don't like none of these recent ones. They all ass. I don't like none of the recent ones. Barkley has the best sneaker out of the two malls. Yeah, the Barkley is a classic. There's no LeBron better than the Barkley. So Barkley wins the argument. Although those South Beaches and those Christmas LeBrons, I forgot which one they were, though.
Starting point is 00:28:28 But you know which ones I'm talking about. You trying to be funny? You trying to bring up when I tried to run from the cops in the Christmas LeBrons? Those is dope, though. Oh, okay. Those Christmas LeBrons are dope. Thought you was trying to be funny. They ain't running for them in the cell, do they?
Starting point is 00:28:40 No. Me? But no, I think anyone that ends an argument where there's a new sheriff in town lost the argument. But that's just me. LeBron's pretty angry, huh? No, he's not angry. He just, you know, he felt like he'd been holding his tongue for too long. And he's been taking a lot of criticism and people don't look at.
Starting point is 00:28:59 He said a lot of great things, great points. He made a lot of great points. I read what LeBron was saying. And he hasn't had any off-the-court troubles and things like that. People really don't point to that. Do you think that Drake is stealing the guy's music? I can't talk about that, so I'm asking y'all. What guy?
Starting point is 00:29:17 The guy. Guy from Florida. And this is only why I'm really mad. A random guy from Florida claims Drake is stealing his music? No, there's a- Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:29 Yes! Come on, man. Wait, more. We got to stop this shit. At some point, we got to stop this shit. When does it stop? Like, come on. Who is this nigga?
Starting point is 00:29:37 Who is this guy? Who is this nigga? Nah, who is this nigga, man? Who is this nigga talking about Drake is stealing his music? More. More. You got to be objective when it comes to OVO, man. I am objective, but it's just like, why niggas just don't leave Drake alone?
Starting point is 00:29:50 Drake don't bother nobody. No, why don't he leave them out? Who is this nigga talking about Drake is still in music? I don't know. He's in Florida rapping. Oh, my God. Let's see if we can hear this guy. Wait, wait, wait.
Starting point is 00:30:02 Can we hear him? Rory's going to find him right now because we don't have an intern For the podcast But I walk in the Sneaker store today On 145th And Camillo is Blasting off the Florida niggas joint I'm like
Starting point is 00:30:13 Aw Alright I see what we doing Yeah Niggas is real funny Yeah Until Drake wanted to Come up to Hot 97 And everybody
Starting point is 00:30:19 Is his homeboy now Damn Did Drake get this shit Take off Aw Damn Drizzy. That's crazy.
Starting point is 00:30:26 Drake is all the way in Europe on tour. He ain't thinking about none of this shit. I don't think Drake stole that from him. It was the same flow that everyone stole
Starting point is 00:30:33 from whoever was the first person to do it. I don't know. I'm only asking because it was... No, I'm answering. Oh, I don't know. Is this dude like known?
Starting point is 00:30:41 No. No. So how the fuck would Drake find him to take his music? Yeah, Moe, You say a lot of Real stupid shit What do you mean
Starting point is 00:30:48 Wait wait wait What do you mean How would Drake find him Who is this thing I don't know who it is Like he has any type of buzz Apparently Drake Followed him on SoundCloud
Starting point is 00:30:57 Before I gotta talk to Jesus This clip came out Apparently Drake Followed him This is what the Twitter streets Are saying The Twitter streets
Starting point is 00:31:04 I would never If you are more famous than someone You don't You can't dare discover something from them No I'm not saying that But I don't That is what you're saying Who is this dude though
Starting point is 00:31:14 I don't Why you keep asking me to vouch for his resume Cause you brought it up So I'm thinking you got some back story on it That's Rory's man I don't know That's Rory's man Is this him
Starting point is 00:31:24 Oh wait Okay let's get into it. Now that's Drake. That's Drake's new song. And this is homeboy That sound like every little Lil Uzi Lil That sound like Everyone rapping that way now Yeah
Starting point is 00:31:59 That's the same type of flow So I think everyone's stealing from everyone That's the same bounce Like Lil I thought I thought it was Uzi when you first played it. And Joe's laughing, but he's out of the loop because he doesn't listen to that shit. That's how everyone's rapping right now.
Starting point is 00:32:11 Time out. I get it out of my head. I don't listen to any of that. I claim to be no expert when it comes to... And we're telling you that that's how everyone raps now. So he stole it, just not from that kid. We don't care enough about that. That's the new flow. That's the new bounce. That's the pocket that everybody's in. So he stole it, just not from that kid. We don't care enough about that. That's the new flow.
Starting point is 00:32:26 That's the new bounce, the pocket that everybody's in. Okay, so time out. All right. Wait, so everybody gets to use that? If you want to. If you can make a hit, why not?
Starting point is 00:32:35 Are you new here? This is what happens in rap. No, that rap is new to me. That's the new, you know. No, just taking a flow and running it into the fucking ground. Maul, so Rory hits me occasionally. Rory's one of the people that I enjoy his music taste sometimes.
Starting point is 00:32:52 When he's not listening to shit like his Impressed Black Friends playlist, I love his music selection. What's on my Impressed Black People playlist? I don't know. Arrested Development. I don't fuck with that. Talib. He get into his Talib section.
Starting point is 00:33:04 Yeah, yeah. You know Rory. Oh, wait. Talib. He get into his Talib section. Yeah, yeah. You know where. Oh, wait. Fonte. Yeah, he get into that section. Fonte is my favorite rapper. He's always been my favorite rapper. I know.
Starting point is 00:33:12 I know. Around us he is. We got it, bro. Around us. I'd also like to note, if you went to a Fonte or Talib show, it would be nothing but white people. But continue with your point, because I'm here for the jokes. If you go to a Joe Biden show, it'd be nothing but white people.
Starting point is 00:33:24 That's true. Yeah. It don't mean nothing. Have you heard Moon Music 2? I can put you on to that. Listen. Damn, what was the point? Oh, so Rory hits me and he says. Here comes the lie of what I said.
Starting point is 00:33:37 If I'm lying, I'm crying. Or whatever old people say. If I'm lying, I'm dying. Whatever it is. Rory Texas man says yo this is just the voice I heard from the text and it's like 830
Starting point is 00:33:52 in the morning too now yo you heard that new Kalani that shit fire that's not what I said that's funny at 830 in the morning that means that nigga was up all night listening to that shit. Mom!
Starting point is 00:34:07 Mom! Bro, you had a night, huh? I'm laying with my bitch. I'm looking at my phone like, huh, nigga? But, all right, you my mans. Can I finish this story? Let the joke go. Well, I'm telling a factual story.
Starting point is 00:34:23 So you say, but go on. I'm laying a factual story. Right. So you say, but go on. I'm like, yo. You know what? Kehlani must really have some fire if Rory is texting me before work. Right. So let's check it out. And I rushed there to the iTunes store, and I go, me and my girl, we listen to Kehlani. And it's a pretty good album.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Pretty good album She's talented I like her I haven't heard the album yet though Now We both hate the album Me and Scent But
Starting point is 00:34:54 We recognize That it is a good album It's well produced It's you know Well written It had Whatever sound she was going for She nailed it
Starting point is 00:35:02 All those songs Great Love it So my question to Rory was Cause Rory likes this album And whatever sound she was going for, she nailed it. All those songs, great. Love it. So my question to Rory was, because Rory likes this album a lot. I was thinking that her demographic would be between, because the album sounds very JoJo-ish. It sounds tailor-made for a very young pop between 14 and 21,
Starting point is 00:35:27 14 and 20-year year old white girl. Very funny that you mentioned that. Cause when Sam and I were talking about it, I said, this is what I wanted from Jojo and not that bullshit pop album that she put out last year. It sounded very Jojo. Jojo's album was trash. It sounded like.
Starting point is 00:35:38 Alessia Carr's album was trash. That's often a tangent, but yeah. So my question to Rory is why does he identify so much with this album that's intended for 15-year-old white girls?
Starting point is 00:35:51 Why is he texting the group chat or his friends like, yo, this is fire? I want to know why. Well, one, I didn't. Are you Kehlani's
Starting point is 00:36:01 target audience? That was my question. No, but to piggyback off what you said before, it's very well put together. Whoever executive produced it found her sound, the pocket she uses, the cadence. It's just well put together music. I hate...
Starting point is 00:36:15 Do I identify with all the relationship 18-year-old bullshit she's talking about? No, but it's good music. Wait, hold on, man. It's a good album. Because I have to tell you what I hate about everything, because that's who I am. I hate those fucking little Nintendo-sounding noises
Starting point is 00:36:29 that are in the beat that I feel like she's using to let everyone know she's from the Bay. I'm not mad at it. That is a Bay thing, right? Those noises in music? I've only ever heard it. Bay people, don't take offense to what I'm saying. I've just only ever heard this sound in you guys' music.
Starting point is 00:36:48 I don't think you're wrong. Have you guys heard Migos' album? Yeah, I heard like four records on it. To be honest, no. But I'm going to hear the records I need to hear at parties. I don't need to hear a Migos cut, and that's no slight to them. I don't need to hear the album cut from Offset. Well, damn. That's just from Offset. Well, damn.
Starting point is 00:37:07 That's just not my lane. Well, damn, Rory. How you feel? What's up with you niggas, man? Hold up, hold up, hold up, hold up. Before we go any further. He disses Kehlani like a bitch and then I say something about Offset and he gets nervous. That's your man, by the way.
Starting point is 00:37:20 That's your man, by the way. First of all, nervous? I haven't felt nervousness in quite some time. You shaking. Look at your cigarette. You're shaking. That's number one. Number two, I haven't seen you gentlemen in a while.
Starting point is 00:37:33 So I don't know if you guys have grievances to air. I don't know if you guys have been, your feelings have been affected over some things that have transpired within the course of the last two weeks. So I want to take this moment, if either one of you have some stuff to get off your chest now that i say that i have something i want to get off my chest too we can all have a moment to get something off our chest rory has been inviting me to fight him for the past month i'm gonna knock him the fuck out and be done with it but that's not what I want to get off my chest. Noriega and DJ FN, am I saying that right?
Starting point is 00:38:11 EFN. EFN have a theme song for their podcast. Wait, by the way, Joe, what's 20 years? Like Norie's rapping? You and I have not spoke about this. Swiss Beats is on it. Look at the ball. Look at the ball.
Starting point is 00:38:31 Look at the ball. Nori got balls on it like Nori's rapping? Who knows? Who knows? Oh, you didn't hear it yet. You just know it's coming. Pause. I'm just asking.
Starting point is 00:38:41 I don't understand what was so funny why does Nori have a theme song that was that was the end why does Nori have a theme song for his podcast he's releasing trailers
Starting point is 00:38:53 we've heard the trailer Nori baby you my guy I know you think that we're both haters cause Rory's a hater I love you fam
Starting point is 00:39:03 what a Nori podcast, Drink Champs, anthem theme song featuring Swiss beats. Okay, well, unlike you, he's merging the two things that he does,
Starting point is 00:39:16 podcasting and rapping. Hey, should I have a theme song? So instead of hating because I'm not the hater here and I love Nori, maybe you should make a fucking podcast theme song with Swiss beats. Nah.ater here And I love Nori Maybe you should make A fucking podcast theme song With Swiss Beats
Starting point is 00:39:25 Nah That nigga Puff Got Nori doing all types Of coon dancing Coon dancing He got that nigga Cooning him all around Nori my nigga
Starting point is 00:39:37 I gotta hear it man He got Nori talking Niggas he hate Nori is such a character though It's all probably Out of just fun And just you know I love Nori
Starting point is 00:39:44 Nori's great But god damn it Nori got me Nori got me sitting here though It's all probably out of just fun And just you know I love Nori Nori's great But god damn it Nori got me Nori got me sitting here Thinking if I need a theme song Alright so y'all don't have Any grievances Nothing y'all wanna air out
Starting point is 00:39:53 Get off your chest Nah Nah Cool Bitches Fuck everybody That's how I feel Alright
Starting point is 00:40:03 Fuck Trump. Tell me what's happening since you like to defend homegirl Azealia Banks so much. Tell me what's going on with her and Rihanna. I like to defend her. Maul loves Azealia Banks. I said to myself, I said, let me go try to research this, not because I care, but because that's Maul's homie. Because that's my homie. Maul, for real.
Starting point is 00:40:21 You got a lot of homies. Let's get into you. I got a lot of homies. No, for real. Let's talk about it.ies. Let's get into you. I got a lot of homies. I know. No, for real. Let's talk about it. Tell me about what Azealia Banks is doing. And that is your homegirl.
Starting point is 00:40:29 And don't lie. That's not my homegirl. That is your homegirl. I never met her a day in my life. You are lying. I just thought, I think she's talented. You think she's bugging the fuck out? Yeah, I always thought she was bugged.
Starting point is 00:40:40 A lot of talent. I think you're bugged the fuck out. Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. What the fuck you mean? Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I think you're bugged. fuck out Whoa, whoa, whoa Fuck you mean? Whoa, whoa, whoa I think you're bugged If we want to talk about the bugs in the world No, but I thought you'd just be playing
Starting point is 00:40:50 Oh, you thought I'd just be playing You don't really think I'm bugged No, you don't No, you don't What's wrong with Joe? I don't want to use this podcast to talk about me People think I do that This is the Joe Button podcast
Starting point is 00:41:00 Yeah, but we're not about to talk about me You don't really think I'm bugged like in real life You're not I don't think you're I don't think you have chicken blood dried up in any of your closets anywhere. Am I without reason? Am I without logic? But your logic is bugged sometimes. You can have logic in everything you do.
Starting point is 00:41:20 Like Charles Manson had logic. I don't think my logic is bugged. I know you don't. I think your logic is fucking bugged. I know, but that's— You are fucking bugged. Okay, but that's usually what people think. And you look like Miracle Watts in the face.
Starting point is 00:41:31 I know, but that's usually what people think. I'm just going to snap jokes. I don't care if you— We can do that. You know, that's my type. You trying to have a real fuck? No, no, no. Fuck out of here, nigga.
Starting point is 00:41:38 But I'm just saying, we can have— Wait, we talking about Azealia Banks, and you just going to say, yeah, you and her. And you think I'm not about to take offense? Fuck you, nigga. Okay. That's fair. No. I'll let you have that.
Starting point is 00:41:49 That's fair. Yeah, you and Azalea. Y'all be wild. I'll be you and Azalea. How much time we got left? Man time. All right, cool. This is way funnier than y'all think it is.
Starting point is 00:41:59 Fuck more. Okay. This is hilarious. I got six balls right here. Motherfucker. I'm mad offended just now Cause you're Nigga you're bugged Maul
Starting point is 00:42:11 No I understand I'm a little off Listen to the Now he gonna say he understand He a little See that's why I say you're bugged Look what you got back to Listen to the context of our conversation
Starting point is 00:42:19 Okay I'm telling you about Azalea Banks Who was just arrested At George Clooney's house Who is about to smack Rihanna or some shit. I'm asking you, what's up with your people? You say, yo, man, y'all to be wild. No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no.
Starting point is 00:42:35 That's not what I said. That's not what I said. What I'm supposed to say. Yeah, we do. You said, do I think she's bugged? I said, yeah, but she's talented. And I said, I think you're bugged, but you're talented. He said he thinks artists are all a little bugged. Yeah. But she's talented And I said I think you're bugged But you're talented He said he thinks
Starting point is 00:42:45 Artists are all a little bugged Yeah He said he thinks you are And then you called him Miracle Watts in the face Then you called me Miracle Watts in the face Yeah man
Starting point is 00:42:52 Fuck out of here Okay Then fuck me ass nigga No that joke No no that joke Was gonna get said anyway Because I thought It was real good
Starting point is 00:43:00 I be looking at Miracle Watts And I be like Yo when she don't Have makeup on She looks like She look a little little boyish in the face what oh man yo listen man that's some of the funniest shit you've ever said ever but you said it so casually in conversation some of you women are not aware of how we're looking at you in the Insta Live shit.
Starting point is 00:43:31 Y'all look different. Miracle watch, though. Now that I said that, you're going to see what I'm saying. Not about you. That was just a funny joke. But when you look at her, you will see that underneath the glitz and glamour, you know, it's possible. Okay. New addition.
Starting point is 00:43:49 New addition. You are kind of Lyra in the face, too. I don't look like Lyra in the face. Shut the fuck up. Lyra in the face. Lyra in the face? Yeah, I look like a fucking club promotion. Wait, speaking of Lyra, tell me, defend this now.
Starting point is 00:44:05 Why is Ross running around with the masquerade masks all over his face and beard? Tell me what the fuck that is. Have you seen this? I don't know. Yo, where have y'all been for two weeks? I don't know. What have y'all been doing? I saw that picture.
Starting point is 00:44:18 I didn't know what was going on. I didn't understand it. I don't know. Maybe I'm not in that. Clearly, they're having some type of shindig. Yeah. Him and all the cool folks Yeah It's a party that already happened
Starting point is 00:44:28 Or this is a thing Yeah no It's something that happened He goes everywhere The picture was out They doing some type of Masquerade bullshit At his crib
Starting point is 00:44:35 I wasn't invited Cause I'm not cool enough Maul was there probably Him and Carmelo And the niggas Anyway so Y'all wanna You to introduce this group chat minor debate we were having? I wasn't really having it because I'm not familiar enough. I just know that Maul, as artists, sometimes we're the last people to know.
Starting point is 00:44:57 No, listen. We're the last people to know sometimes. Me and Ice always go back and forth. Ice is a big Jeezy fan And he knows that You know I'm a Ross fan I like Jeezy too though So whenever they put out a record Ice
Starting point is 00:45:11 Yo he'll text me Yo you heard that Yeah da da da And then you know Vice versa When Ross puts something out I'll hit him So I sent
Starting point is 00:45:18 You know I just sent the new record The Ross and Ty Dolla $ign record to him Like yo You know what I mean Like to say like yo you know I mean like say like yeah nigga like I love the jig is up for this nigga no it ain't and so we went back and forth but it started a debate about but that record is hard yes I didn't hear yet I assumed it was hard cuz it's Ross and
Starting point is 00:45:38 and Ty yeah that's all so I would think it's hard yeah but I didn't hear it on Jesus last year so I didn't really know what Like what was the debate To be had there Aren't they both Kind of in the same boat I mean they've been put together From their little beef
Starting point is 00:45:53 Yeah they always They always kind of like So of course They're going to be compared And waste each other They always You know people People
Starting point is 00:45:58 It's barbershop talk basically People are always going to say Yo Ross or Jeezy Like Okay well that led to And this is where I got interested in the conversation, that led to Ice saying that Jeezy's first album, which he deems a classic, I don't think it's a classic.
Starting point is 00:46:13 I think it's a cult classic. Okay. I was saying, oh, Ice was saying that album versus Ross's best album. What is Ross's best album? Debatable. I say Teflon Dawn, but a lot of people would say Deeper Than Rap. Yeah. I say Teflon Dawn, too, which led my brain to ask,
Starting point is 00:46:33 is Teflon Dawn a classic album? That's a little early. I think people would say TM101 is a classic before Teflon Dawn, but it's not fair because there's a big year gap there. All right, so forget about it in relation to Jeezy. Just tell me if Teflon Dawn is a classic album. I love that album, but I don't know if I'd call it a classic yet. I got to see how it ages.
Starting point is 00:47:01 I don't throw that classic word around. Me neither. I don't like to do that. I think it's a very, very... I think that... First of all, I think that Ross puts together better albums than Jeezy. Roy, can you pull up the track list for Teflon Dawn? I think he puts together better music.
Starting point is 00:47:18 I think that he has a lot more replay value than Jeezy. Well, after we had that debate, we said, who has a better discography? Which I think everyone was going to agree and say Ross by far. But of course, Ice didn't. Ice did not say that Jeezy has a better discography than Ross. Yes, he did. I think it was in the group chat.
Starting point is 00:47:39 I think that's what he said. Anyways, track listing starts out with I'm Not a Star, Free Mason, Tears Of Joy Maybach Music 3 Live Fast Down Young Super High Number One MC Hammer
Starting point is 00:47:50 BMF Ashton Martin Music All The Money In The World Amazing album I can't call it a classic That's a classic album I think I think Deep In And Rap
Starting point is 00:47:59 Is better than that Number One Nah I know that I'm in the minority here Deep in the rap's not better than that Rich off That's the one Rich off cocaine
Starting point is 00:48:10 Is on deep in the rap right Teflon Don is such a short concise album Yeah And that was in the beginning But Ross to me makes He doesn't get enough credit for his albums That he put together His music that he puts together.
Starting point is 00:48:25 To me, he doesn't. Ross doesn't really have a bad album. That's what I'm saying. Even the recent ones, like the Black Market shit, I thought was hard. It just didn't really get its recognition. Right. But it was a solid album if you listen to it. Which leads me to my new question.
Starting point is 00:48:37 Does anybody care about any of this stuff? Because this stuff is geared toward, what, an album coming? Yeah, Ross has an album coming. But Ross always kind toward What an album coming Yeah Ross has an album coming But Ross always kinda has an album coming Yo how many fucking albums does Ross have What is in his contract Shit Oh this is a new contract
Starting point is 00:48:55 This is a new contract This is a new contract But Ross' blueprint Which a lot of people have Taken and ran with Is let me put that street record out See if it bubbles Maybe put a mixtape out
Starting point is 00:49:04 And take the best records from that and put my album out if it doesn't bite I'm gonna fall back and just say it was a record so Ross is always about to have an album out
Starting point is 00:49:12 it just depends what bites him what doesn't he's been very strategic that way and I think that's why he hasn't failed because he never just
Starting point is 00:49:18 goes with an album when something's not working Jeezy on the other hand and no slight to Jeezy love Jeezy he'll go no matter what I'm putting an album out I don't care if this record
Starting point is 00:49:26 bites it doesn't nah it was a while where he wasn't putting one out but he wasn't putting music out and I'm no
Starting point is 00:49:32 Ross or Jeezy expert so I'm backing out of this I don't I don't want to say something and piss off Jeezy Hive or Ice or anybody else I don't know enough
Starting point is 00:49:41 to let everyone know we love both these artists we're just having a debate I do think that these artists. I do think that Teflon, I do think that Teflon Don is on its way, though, to being a classic album. Teflon Don came out in what year?
Starting point is 00:49:53 2010, I want to say. Yeah, 2011 maybe. Oh, come on. Oh, y'all have called fucking albums classic quicker than that. Not y'all, but I'm saying today.
Starting point is 00:50:01 Yeah, for sure. Today. People called albums classic in the first week. Jay Coles was classic before it came out. I might argue for Teflon Dawn and Take Care, man. I might argue for both of those. But you also don't think Game Documentary is a classic, and I think it's a classic.
Starting point is 00:50:15 That might be a classic album. No. The documentary might be a classic album. No. Okay. I mean, it's all... This is why. This is why.
Starting point is 00:50:27 And you're right. It's all subjective. Classic album, we know it has to age well. To me, it has to perfectly depict the time. Every classic album I can think of perfectly depicts the time and what was happening around it. I would agree that the documentary
Starting point is 00:50:51 would be a classic album if not for the time that it were released. I mean, it was just everything. It cannot, I can't have the documentary be a classic and Get Rich be a classic in that time. That was what, 03 versus 05? It's the same ballpark is what I mean.
Starting point is 00:51:13 Get Rich perfectly gave us the time. So when the documentary came out, it was a great album. But still today when we go back to that time, we're not necessarily going back. We're going back to get rich. And when we want to hear an extension of get rich, we want to go to the documentary. That's what I do. You have to put in the West Coast factor. At that time, the West Coast was not bubbling as much, and Game kind of brought that sound back, if you will,
Starting point is 00:51:37 and still stuck with that 03 to 06 sound before it went to Atlanta. So I think the West Coast factor should be brought into there as far as it being a classic and bringing West Coast music back. Tell me what albums again, and we're not going to get into a hip hop debate right now, but what, from 2010 on, what other albums that are considered classics? Both Kendrick projects are considered to be classics. Yeah. What else is?
Starting point is 00:52:04 A lot of people would say Take Care. Some Kanye shit. Take Care came out when? After 2010. 2011. Yeah, that's a classic. 808s was fucking 2008. I was never on the side
Starting point is 00:52:15 of Take Care being a classic, but I think in the last year, I think it is. It's a classic. My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy, a lot of people from my age bracket would say that Would be a classic
Starting point is 00:52:26 In the 2010 To right now Phase If you will Yeah whatever Whatever Kendrick got a classic album Yeah
Starting point is 00:52:36 Well that first album Is definitely a classic That was probably the last This is definitely a classic album Thought I ever had Since J. Cole No no no Kendrick Good Kid Man City You don't think J. Cole's album definitely a classic album Thought I ever had Since J. Cole? No, no, no
Starting point is 00:52:46 Kendrick Good Kid, Mad City You don't think J. Cole's album's a classic? Which one? The last one No I think it's a great album Wait
Starting point is 00:52:53 The last one he put out? No, no, no He sold out 2014 Four Seals Yeah, Four Seals Thought it was a great, great album No, not a classic I think it's a classic
Starting point is 00:53:01 We don't recognize it now Ever since Ever since Maul has said yo i don't use that classic word loosely he has went on to call everything a classic but every imop name is a classic though that ain't true okay forest hills drive is a classic too i've never even heard anybody say that outside of you you will not saying i won't okay but i'm saying i'm calling it now i'm not gonna wait till three yo ma Mole is such a hypocrite So how can you say That Teflon Don Is too early to call
Starting point is 00:53:27 But No no no You asked about You asked about another album And I said I don't throw the word Classic around loosely And I don't
Starting point is 00:53:32 But every album That I've named Is not like People can be like That's not a Forest Hills Drive Is a classic to me And a lot of other people
Starting point is 00:53:40 And a lot of other people For the simple fact that It's a dope album From top to bottom He made great records With no features And a lot of other people for the simple fact that it's a dope album from top to bottom. He made great records with no features. Like, he did a lot of, like, to me, like, a lot of artists can't do that. You know what?
Starting point is 00:53:57 Maul makes me raise an interesting point. I think the criteria for classic needs to change just the way that everything else has changed in the streaming era. Because it's very hard for music to have that staying power, because I'm about to argue, argue against your point, and say most of these albums are, are very soon forgotten about after they're released, so I didn't remember anybody bigging up Forest Hills, uh, Forest Hills Drive like that Well yes Yes I did Yes I did That's a lie I do remember that
Starting point is 00:54:27 But Our albums have Very little staying power So while that used to be An indicator for us It's not no more It's not now So it's hard for me to argue
Starting point is 00:54:38 Against you saying That that album is a classic to you That's my point That's what I'm trying to say Fair? That's fair To wrap up that debate though we brought in ti into this gz verse rick ross where does he land in this uh and i had
Starting point is 00:54:52 said that ti is a better rapper but i think ross has a better discography and maul told me that he does not think no i don't think ti is a better rapper than ross no i don't think ross gets enough credit for his ability to rap i I think Ross is extremely witty. I thought T.I. got a hall pass. I thought he didn't belong in the same conversation as Ross and Jeezy. Ross's ability to create music
Starting point is 00:55:21 and create pockets and flows and witty lines surpasses T.I. I always get confused when people start talking about Ross and flows. Where are they? Where are these multiple flows that y'all hear? I didn't say multiple. You said flows just now.
Starting point is 00:55:36 But we can't do that because we can name a lot of rappers that don't have a lot of flows that are called legends and all that other shit. That's true. Okay. I just don't want that to be accentuated as a strong point if it's not. That's my only point. Because I think that T.I. raps better than Ross. I think he does things better with words and flows than Ross. I just think Ross makes better music than T.I.
Starting point is 00:56:01 Ross makes better music than most people. That's where his gift Lied to me He makes He crafts songs Some people have a talent Just a knack for that Royce Another one
Starting point is 00:56:10 He just Is a studio rat Loves to craft music Sidebar Royce is better than everyone I think that part is apparent I would have to agree with that Yeah he's
Starting point is 00:56:22 And that was it What he's been doing lately is like... Yeah, and Roy's stupid friends, Lowkey is on Twitter trying to fucking antagonize me into rapping, saying, Royce is killing you. Where's the shame? So? Royce is having a blast.
Starting point is 00:56:44 For those unaware... While we on Royce is having a blast For those unaware Hold on While we on Royce I need people to go back And listen to that verse On that That mixtape y'all put out Listen to Royce's
Starting point is 00:56:54 Royce's verse On Damn what was the name Of that fucking I told him he had Verse of the year Until Andre 3000
Starting point is 00:57:01 And Rick Ross Record drop When 16 ain't enough I told Royce I said you had Verse of the year Until Andre 3000 And Rick Ross Record drop When 16 ain't enough I told Royce I said you had Verse of the year Until Andre 3000
Starting point is 00:57:09 Put that verse out with Ross But I can't remember The name of that fucking song It's on the mixtape Y'all put out though Well it had to be a while ago Fuck I forgot the name
Starting point is 00:57:19 It was a record That was just him Or No it was all of them I don't listen to Fucking Slaughterhouse All of Slaughterhouse was on it. But Royce's verse was, he did some other shit on that verse.
Starting point is 00:57:31 Royce is rhyming over other people's beats. He built a studio in his basement. So now he's there and he's just ripping shit apart and releasing it every other day and proving that he raps better than people. and releasing it every other day and proving that he raps better than people. It's really kind of cyberbullying, but not really because rap is not in right now. Damn, Joe, what's the name of that record?
Starting point is 00:57:52 What, there's Say That Then, there's Offshore. What else is on that? That's what I was going to say, but it was the one that's just him. Not the last. Keep It 100, he bodied that shit, but he was by himself. Oh, he did body that Yo I need to go
Starting point is 00:58:06 Listen to that mixtape again I might need to go Make a little Slaughterhouse playlist That mixtape is significantly We ain't even spoke To the people Yo listeners
Starting point is 00:58:13 Listeners Listeners Fucking Me and Rory Have been listening To the fucking New Detox album Which is the
Starting point is 00:58:20 Slaughterhouse album Cause that album's Never seen the light of day I hate to be there Hey breaking news Breaking news Breaking news Hey
Starting point is 00:58:28 Can we put an edit point somewhere? For all of you people that keep wanting a music update Here it is That's Slaughterhouse Project You're not getting it Hey Sorry Now
Starting point is 00:58:38 Now that we got that out of the way There's some shit on there There's some shit on there Paul is going to knock someone out Unfortunately Unfortunately The best Joel verse that I have ever heard It's some shit on there It's some shit on there Paul is gonna knock someone out Unfortunately Unfortunately The best Joel verse That I have ever heard
Starting point is 00:58:49 In my entire life Is on this album That y'all are never gonna hear That's fucked up Quick call me man We need to do something Well shit I fought for one of those records
Starting point is 00:58:59 To go on the One of your albums I wanted to take a few of them records But you know what it is I'm talking all this shit. Like I said to Rory, the entire group was in such a dark space when we recorded all of that music. It's a very dark, depressing, I don't even want to hear any of that shit.
Starting point is 00:59:15 I don't even rap like that. I don't want to rap like that. We would have to record all new verses to put that project out. Yeah. But in the meantime, boy is some shit on that album. Word. Nah, it's great. It might need to be one of my sleeper joints.
Starting point is 00:59:29 Nah, then I'll get sued. Yo, so listen, man. I can't believe that we've gone this far into this podcast and nobody, y'all, what are y'all, y'all just, y'all wasn't New Edition fans? Y'all don't care? Hell yeah. Y'all didn't care? What do you mean?
Starting point is 00:59:43 Y'all wasn't excited about that? Nah, i think that was very well put together they paid attention to detail like i mean it was like they did a great great job putting that together that was one of the best biopics i think i've ever seen i canceled everything i had to do that week simply so i could be in front of that tv for two hours every night they said in total i just wish it was no commercials. I would love to see that with no commercials. Oh, I saw it with no commercials. How?
Starting point is 01:00:09 I wasn't watching it when it aired. I was watching it on Plex. Okay. But I agree with you. So well put together. Yeah. My allergies might even act it up at the end. I ain't going to lie.
Starting point is 01:00:22 My allergies might act it up at the end a little bit. I mean, I like that it ended nice, of course, because they all came together to put this biopic together, but I don't know if New Edition ended that happily like it did in the end of that movie.
Starting point is 01:00:36 Yeah, no. No. We know it. That's why when the ending came, I was like, this was amazing. I have no gripes about it, but I don't know how happy singing and dancing everyone was at the end of New Edition.
Starting point is 01:00:46 First of all, I don't even believe everybody was at DeVoe's wedding. I don't believe that. I don't think anybody just dropped their plans to hit up DeVoe. All right. Let's, come on. DeVoe went through a lot. Let's not do that. I like DeVoe, but DeVoe got to stop putting that trash ass do that I like DeVoe But DeVoe gotta stop Putting that trash ass 8
Starting point is 01:01:06 On the end of The hard joints man That trash ass 8 8 is not even An impressive number no more When you talk about rapping You gotta really be Getting off
Starting point is 01:01:16 In the 8 A trash 8 God damn You can't kill DeVoe Like that though man New edition's legends man Man you saw Ralph told that nigga, man. I've been carrying you for years, nigga.
Starting point is 01:01:28 Shut your ass. That's how I felt. I felt like I've been carrying DeVoe, too, for, man, long. I've been carrying DeVoe. Yo, when Ralph told that nigga that shit, I was like, yeah, yo, because you can step, nigga. You get the fuck out. Nah, they all need it. They all need it.
Starting point is 01:01:43 That chemistry was dope. I didn't know that I did know that You know how you So old you know some shit And then forget that you knew it I forgot Yes
Starting point is 01:01:50 Yes I forgot that I knew that I didn't like that casting My only complaint about The new edition shit Is that The casting of Ricky Bell Oh you didn't like
Starting point is 01:02:01 The Elijah Kelly Casting Nah It wasn't him Ricky was lighter than that He was throwing me off the whole movie I had a hard time figuring out who the fuck this nigga was It was Ricky
Starting point is 01:02:14 I see where you're going with it It was Ricky But they did a great, great job Luke James did a phenomenal job as Johnny Gill I mean, they always compare Luke to Johnny Gill So, I mean, that was kind of a no-brainer to cast him for that He embodied that job as uh johnny gill well i mean they always compare luke to johnny gill though so i mean that was kind of a no-brainer to cast him for that he bodied that as great as nwa biopic and new edition biopic was i hope this isn't the introduction to biopics being the new mixtape
Starting point is 01:02:35 or the new blog and we have to get a bunch i'm hearing great things about the bbd album though i'm hearing it's dope oh i'd like to hear the bbd i saw the little trailer when they said it was better than poison and, and I was like, of course they're going to say that, but I listened to it. Ralph Tresman did all that shit and had the worst solo career out of anybody. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:02:56 Yeah, he did. No, that's a fact. It's a fact. Johnny. It's definitely a fact. Bobby. Is Johnny's solo album a classic? BBD. No. No, no, no, no. Hell no. I love Johnny Solo.
Starting point is 01:03:08 But Johnny has joints on there, and Johnny has Mama Maya's Classic. Let me tell you something. Stone Cold Gentleman by Ralph is not. Sensitivity, nah. I was telling Sin, who I totally forgot that I was an old nigga. Hold on. Sensitivity is not trash, though. Don't do that. That record is not trash though Don't do that
Starting point is 01:03:25 That record is not trash I don't care You can look at me like that Sensitivity is not a trash record though That record is cool It's a cool record They let LSG get love too That was great
Starting point is 01:03:36 They kind of snuck everything in there How old are you Maul? A year younger than you I was coming outside Yeah nigga Me I'm 36 Yeah So you're 35 Yes Alright Well hold up now A year younger than you. I was coming outside. Yeah, nigga. Me. I'm 36.
Starting point is 01:03:45 Yeah. So you're 35. Yes. All right. Well, hold up now. Slow down for a second because I had my own crib at 17. Hold on. I was in them streets. Okay.
Starting point is 01:03:54 Hold up. That came out before you were 17, though. But what I'm saying is don't try to say like, yeah, I was outside. You was outside. Because what you was about to say, you was about to say, yo, you probably too young. You don't remember that. Nah, nigga. I was outside by myself.
Starting point is 01:04:05 Okay. So then great. So then I'll pretend like you do remember. In whatever year that was, when Bobby had came out and was the biggest nigga in the universe, New Edition was the hardest group in the universe, whatever, whatever. They killed Ralph Tresvian when he put Sensitivity out. They killed Ralph Tresvant When he put Sensitivity out For dancing across that little screen
Starting point is 01:04:26 In the silk pajamas Naked With the shit in his hair Who is this nigga And what the fuck is this soft shit They killed him Yeah So
Starting point is 01:04:35 But when you think about just the record Sensitivity The song It worked The song played a lot Yeah That's all I'm saying Joe It wasn't a bad record They Destroyed Ralph Tresvant It worked. The song played a lot. That's all I'm saying, Joe.
Starting point is 01:04:45 It wasn't a bad record. They destroyed Ralph Tresvant for that record, which is why I like the next single, Do What You Gotta Do. And the extended version is very hard to find, but if you find it, it's really good. It's like seven minutes long. Do What I Gotta Do, Ralph Tresvant. But where was I going with this? This Ralph Tresvant fucking spiel that we were on just now.
Starting point is 01:05:06 I don't know. Oh, I want to know. And I was tweeting this. I was tweeting because, unfortunately, Rory, biopics are indeed the new mixtape now. That's where we are. If they do them at the caliber of NWA and New Edition, I'm here for them. Well, no, because if you're doing bad, we're still going to get a good laugh.
Starting point is 01:05:25 We're going to get a good laugh out of them. Like Neil Lear. Yeah. Wasn't there a TLC one? That one wasn't too bad. TLC one wasn't too bad. The Michelle A one. We've enjoyed them, so I don't want to knock them until we're not enjoying them.
Starting point is 01:05:37 But give me the hip-hop biopics you guys would like to see. I think the Murder, Inc. one would be the greatest story ever told. You get a lot out of that Murder, Inc. one. The Murder, Inc. one is giving me every possible thing that you could ask for here. Yeah, that would be great. It's giving me 50, G-Unit Irv X Hov
Starting point is 01:06:07 Big That whole Underground New York What was happening there That scene Is giving me Supreme The Feds
Starting point is 01:06:17 Ashanti Charlie Baltimore Is included in Murder, Inc. And all of her shit Mad sex scandals It gives me some of Bobby Brown Charlie Baltimore is included in Murder, Inc. and all of her shit. You're getting Bobby Brown. Mad sex scandals. It gives me some of Bobby Brown.
Starting point is 01:06:32 Gives me Ashanti and Put It On Me, which I argue is the top ten hip-hop song ever made. Yeah, I agree. It would be tough to beat that. Any 50 chick making my way downtown, that bitch, she was on Murder, Inc. for like a hot two months. Making my way downtown. Vanessa Carlton? There you go. You give Vanessa Carlton. Vanessa Carlton was on murder inc For like a hot Two months Making my way downtown Vanessa Carlton There you go
Starting point is 01:06:46 You get Vanessa Carlton Vanessa Carlton Was on murder inc You could say Well you gay for mad Other shit But Fuck you
Starting point is 01:06:52 Nah people know Vanessa Carlton's name No but I knew that Like soon as she said You don't understand Like it downloaded In my brain It downloaded in my brain
Starting point is 01:07:01 As soon as she said The white girl I said Vanessa Carlton in my brain That is a wild Snapp white girl. I said Vanessa Carlton in my brain. That is a wild. Yeah. That's crazy that I know that Lloyd's in there. Lloyd.
Starting point is 01:07:10 So now some people said some people said a bad boy biopic would be the greatest. I disagree because they wouldn't be able to tell that story. It's all kind of all over the place. It's a lot. You couldn't tell A truthful Bad boy Story Well why do you say that?
Starting point is 01:07:30 Because I won't say Because Puffy you think will I just won't say But I mean it's a lot of shit That Happened there That can't be discussed The same way with
Starting point is 01:07:39 It's another one Who's going to tell a story Of rap a lot? I'm not That's a fact What are you talking about here? It's another one Like Who's gonna tell a story Of rap a lot I'm not Right That's a fact What are you talking about here So
Starting point is 01:07:50 Of the biopics That we could I think Run DMC With Def Jam I think would be A great story as well Nah
Starting point is 01:07:58 I don't think the kids care This is what I've learned The kids don't care about shit That happened before them They don't care New Edition I think A lot of people that did not Know about
Starting point is 01:08:07 Or knew about them Were not fans Because it's a great It was a great story Great biopic I don't know if You could say the same about A Red DMC one
Starting point is 01:08:16 With Def Jam I don't know if people Would love that But with For some reason Early hip hop shit With Murder, Inc., you get that whole
Starting point is 01:08:25 Def Jam swing from Russell to Lior as well. Yeah, Murder, Inc. might be the one. They could never sell it the way they could a Bad Boy one,
Starting point is 01:08:33 but damn, that would just be a better movie. Murder, Inc. would be the best one, the best movie, and I think you could sell it. No, I think you could sell it,
Starting point is 01:08:40 but I'm saying if you walked into a meeting, Bad Boy would be an easier sell to just a regular TV exec. Like, yeah, I think I'm sell it, but I'm saying if you walked into a meeting, Bad Boy would be an easier sell to just a regular TV exec. Like, yeah, I think I'm going to roll with Bad Boy. I see what he's saying. Rockefeller would give us some good stuff. I would like to see the same way we came up on comic books
Starting point is 01:08:59 and now comics are the new wave in movies and film. I would like to see, if that's the way that the kids are going to be informed about music and groups before them, I would like to see it. Done tastefully, done correctly, of course.
Starting point is 01:09:15 What do you think about Biggie's? Notorious, I believe it was called. The movie? Yeah. It's a biopic. Yeah. I think that was a good movie.
Starting point is 01:09:23 I think it was a good movie. Where's Gravy anyway? The hell is doing this but but with that as well puffy definitely executive produced that so he looked like fucking morpheus in a chinchilla for the whole movie it's tough when people are in charge of it because they're gonna make themselves look amazing i heard a lot of of uh conflicting reports about that movie from from shit I think sees was running around saying a lot of that Kim was fear a lot of that shit wasn't true Kim was mad for a little bit Kim I can't even recognize right now she's done so much shit shout out to Kim said um what do we think of uh give Richard I trying
Starting point is 01:10:03 I mean it was a biopic but I thought it was a good movie. I thought it was a biopic. Nah, it wasn't. Just a bit embellished. It was the story of 50 embellished. A lot. Very much embellished. Still.
Starting point is 01:10:17 So, 8 Mile 2? 8 Mile 2? Yeah. Yeah. They're not biopics. Oh, man. We getting the The distinction confused Like mixtape and album too
Starting point is 01:10:27 No The 8 Mile's not a biopic Because 8 Mile's a movie It's not a biopic No Alright so what is a biopic then Maybe I'm saying it wrong A movie that's about
Starting point is 01:10:36 Someone specific's life And we're using Like his name would've been Marshall Mathers Oh that's 8 Mile His name is Rabbit When's the M album coming?
Starting point is 01:10:47 You're on Shady. We would ask you that. Am I? I don't fucking know. Can we edit that one too? I wouldn't know. No, I'm asking that because he had something coming. That's why I'm asking.
Starting point is 01:10:58 I know y'all looking at me like I'm nuts. He put out a bunch of fucking bars on some record that was like, though, what the fuck? He was heating up for like, dog, what the fuck? He was eating up for like three weeks, I feel like. And he don't normally do that, is what I'm saying.
Starting point is 01:11:11 Right. Em don't just do some shit for a few weeks and then just for no reason. Yeah. I would assume an album's coming. That's what we thought.
Starting point is 01:11:20 We'll see. Em is the only constant, probably, from last generation to this generation he's probably the one artist that will not see not one change in uh sales even though how we receive music is different no not at all yeah he'll always go Fucking diamond Every time he puts something out That's crazy He's fucking The Beatles That's why he's
Starting point is 01:11:49 Exactly I was about to say that Well no Migos say they're the Beatles But uh Are we missing something else 20 year olds on Complex Say that
Starting point is 01:11:58 Uh Let me look at our list Oh uh Vlad Don't diss Complex Don't diss Complex Oh my god Wait a minute
Starting point is 01:12:08 How can we fucking It's tax season We talked about Maul's love for tax How can we not talk about Fucking Vlad I told you niggas That's your man
Starting point is 01:12:18 I told y'all niggas I have been on record On this podcast A million times And on Twitter my disdain for Vlad. But everyone read that very incorrectly. That is not saying that Vlad is snitching. That was saying that Tax went on Vlad TV and incriminated himself on camera. And they are going to use that.
Starting point is 01:12:42 That wasn't that Vlad went to the feds. I hate Vlad, by the way. I'm just telling y'all that y'all would don't read it. And I hate Vlad too. And since I hate him too and this is my podcast, I'm offering alternative facts. Vlad's bitch ass. Bitching on text.
Starting point is 01:13:00 Bitch ass Vlad. I told you niggas. I told y'all That's it I don't even have nothing profound Coming after that I just told y'all niggas man Be careful, be careful, be careful Be careful, be careful
Starting point is 01:13:17 You better be careful What you say to me Hey Cause it might turn around on you. If your name is not Lord Jamar, you have no business sitting on Vlad's couch. I think everyone has no business sitting on Vlad's couch. And Lord Jamar, I almost want to say you have no fucking business sitting on Vlad's couch either, but you're from Brand Newbian, and I love you, and you're a fucking legend and an OG.
Starting point is 01:13:44 I'm going to steal all what you just said about him because I think the same, but I don't understand how he says all those things and he's staring at fucking Vlad. It's the most contradictive thing I've ever seen. Everything you talk about in hip-hop, you're staring at. That's exactly who he is. Well, now, when I saw Lord Jamar,
Starting point is 01:14:02 when I saw Busta Rhymes, when I went to Avenue Mall's favorite club, and they were in the back, I did sell Lord Jamar that he should come on my show. That'd be great. That was a long time ago. He should come on the show. I'll take a week off. You should ask him that, because that seems like a valid question. It does.
Starting point is 01:14:20 You're talking to fucking Vlad. You're talking to Vlad. I want to know why anybody ever talks to Vlad. Why? The things that people do for notoriety, attention, and yeah, people. That's a whole other conversation. And not the betterment of hip-hop at all. There's no betterment of this culture with Vlad saying these things Vlad is so not a friend of
Starting point is 01:14:48 the show and I'm gonna stop saying his name on my fucking show I'm just confused as to why people willingly go sit on his couch so he can bait them into incriminating themselves or someone else I want better for my people than that I would like us to be A bit wiser When it comes to Where we loan our likeness That's my point That's my point
Starting point is 01:15:14 Well worded, Joe Yo, was Vlad Was he really a DJ at one point? I will fuck Vlad Vlad, you know I will fuck you up Okay, so I still don't know If he was a real DJ
Starting point is 01:15:23 So incriminate ourselves Who cares? Yeah We'll beat the fucking dog shit Out of fucking Vlad Interview me about that He'll then sue you Because that's what's happened In the past
Starting point is 01:15:35 When he did get the dog shit Kicked out of him I would put something To the side To pay it Of Vlad Yes Next album
Starting point is 01:15:43 Vlad got four points Oh my god I'd love to But we're not practicing Living that way To pay it. Of Vlad T. Yes. Next album, Vlad got four points. Oh, my God. I'd love to. But we're not practicing living that way. What else don't we care about? Sin has your Instagram bugged, apparently. Wait. Now, speaking of that, Kodak Black is running trains on women.
Starting point is 01:16:00 Dog, listen. Kodak Black is exactly what Donald Trump is trying to rid America of. No, Kodak Black is what I'm trying to rid America of. You facing charges for sexual charges and shit like that, and then you do something like that on camera? That's crazy. What are you doing? I don't condone or support most of the shit that hip-hop is making is making kids do it's just making y'all do a lot of stupid shit
Starting point is 01:16:28 Like I get hip hop is for the kids But you kids is bugging get you hip hop from some older people go that black is bugging now off that with that being said I Think sin has my Instagram I think Sin has my Instagram bugged. She's working with Vlad? I can't prove this. I can't prove it.
Starting point is 01:16:57 I haven't even told her that I think this. Well, luckily she'll never listen to this podcast. Well, no, that just means I'll have to speak to her about it expediently. At 10 a.m. tomorrow? Expediently. If I DM a girl, hypothetically speaking, like a golf page,
Starting point is 01:17:18 and I DM a girl about maybe some golf clubs, mysteriously, in the next 10 minutes, Sin will be asking me about golf. And I've about had enough of it, damn it. I want to know. So Sin is like.
Starting point is 01:17:38 I want to know what the fuck Sin has going on. See, now I'm not so tech savvy. Sin is like when you Google like flat screens and then you got flat screen going on? See, now, I'm not so tech savvy. Sin is like when you Google, like, flat screens, and then you got flat screen ads on your Gmail, Instagram, Twitter. Let me tell you something. My baby don't miss a beat. My baby don't miss a beat. I'm going to tell you what it is.
Starting point is 01:17:56 These pages or whoever you're hitting up are just trying to catch you out there so they could send it straight to Sin, and they just screenshot it. Come on, but it's it's it's me what what type of incriminating dm am i you're not paranoid it's not even about you saying anything incriminating you just responding it's like okay look he's he's clearly like you know in his dms responding that can be incriminating I had this girl yesterday yo that was a amazing tennis
Starting point is 01:18:30 racket in that video here comes in did you see the US Open 10 minutes later I'm like whoa no that's how it goes but to Maul's point you have to remember how women take just the act of responding and what that means and what the act
Starting point is 01:18:45 of liking something means it doesn't mean the same thing we think it means to us it's like well no she said something i replied right so well you're now you're giving the time of the day you're opening your world up to her well that's why she can now come into our happy home and break it like no i just said good morning well that's why why I love sending mine and Sin's conversation so much because she explains to me the woman brain, and I don't get it. I don't get it. You will never get it. Let me just put that out there for you.
Starting point is 01:19:14 Like I'm sitting there saying, yeah, you send a DM. The girl click on it. She go to your page. See a girl everywhere. Sees you're a nice, faithful guy. She said, no, women don't see it like that. Women see it like. I said, all right, so let's get into the women's brain.
Starting point is 01:19:28 Let's see what women think. Women think that the girl's going to go to your page, see your girl, and come back and be like, yeah, I see your girl, but fuck that bitch. I'm trying to give you some pussy. Is that how women hear it? Yeah. Yep. Doesn't matter if that's exactly.
Starting point is 01:19:43 Listen, we're're gonna get the fuck Out of here With this bullshit Is there any other news That we have to care about But we really don't That we have to care about Your trusty list
Starting point is 01:19:54 Yeah cause you sent A lot of shit Oh Mello Trade rumors Not that anyone cares About our sports segments No you No you know
Starting point is 01:20:01 My only thing with that is You know Boston Celtics Um Cleveland Cavs, Clippers. I'm a little offended as a Knicks fan. And here's why. My position is clear. I'm on the side of Melo.
Starting point is 01:20:13 Phil Jackson needs to get the fuck out of town. Right. But. I don't know why all you other niggas is acting like y'all wouldn't take Carmelo. know why all you other niggas is acting like y'all wouldn't take Carmelo, let's slow down and really put things in its proper perspective, Boston Celtics, you're not taking Carmelo Anthony, really, you're not giving up the next draft pick for Carmelo Anthony, Danny Ainge, really, y'all, it's one nigga, a five foot four nigga doing all the scoring, you don't need to score, who is one nigga, a five foot four nigga doing all the scoring.
Starting point is 01:20:44 You don't need a scorer. Fuck out of here. Clippers, really? We'll only take them if we don't have to send our big three? Really? Really? You want a player as capable as Melo for fucking J.J. Redick and Austin Rivers? No, really. I agree with you.
Starting point is 01:21:03 Cleveland wouldn't swap Kevin Love for Carmelo Anthony. Outside of passing the basketball, tell me what Kevin Love does on Cleveland that Carmelo Anthony can't do. Carmelo Anthony can't spot up for the three. Either way, I didn't want that trade to ever happen. That's part of what Cleveland is saying. They need a playmaker, and Melo's not necessarily a playmaker. Melo's a playmaker.
Starting point is 01:21:27 There's a guy, LeBron James and Kyrie Irving. Makes a play for himself. He can put the ball in the hoop. That's a playmaker. No. A playmaker is someone who requires a double team, I would assume, who can make a play. Carmelo's a playmaker.
Starting point is 01:21:41 Yeah, but Kevin Love is a playmaker also. Not to the extent of Melo, in my opinion. Yeah, but Kevin Love is a playmaker also. Not to the extent of Melo. Yeah, no way. No way. They don't let Kevin Love post up in Cleveland. He lost weight, so he don't bang down low. He's having a better rebounding year this year. He is having a good year this year. But
Starting point is 01:21:57 outside of that, if I take Kevin Love off that team and I put Carmelo Anthony on that team, he's scoring more. He's scoring more. He's scoring more. I don't know. Kevin Love wouldn't even be the best playmaker on the Knicks. How about let's stop this because I don't want to lose Carmelo Anthony.
Starting point is 01:22:15 I don't want to lose him. I don't understand why Knicks fans are just going to want to lose him anyway, though. Well, you want to lose him because you have some Knicks fans that believe you should be building around Porzingis, who's 21 years old. Yeah, and Porzingis. Their windows are not close enough to each other. Melo's 31, 32. But Porzingis is not ready to carry this team.
Starting point is 01:22:34 Of course he's not ready to, but you want to build around. Melo, at this point in his career, can only play the four. He can't guard a three. Porzingis should be playing the five. They won't play him there. That's a mismatch from the door before you insert the bad Joe Kim Noah signing. I don't understand why. That's the energy they need to be focused on.
Starting point is 01:22:50 I don't understand why we're trying to trade Carmelo and keep Joe Kim Noah. Yeah, that's the energy they need to be more focused on anyway. Joe Kim Noah, I fuck with you. I fuck with the person you are, your character, your presence, your aura. This system is just not for him. He kind of put this team together a little bit. Joe Cano, you got to get the fuck out of here, dog. I've been trying to.
Starting point is 01:23:10 Sorry. Sorry. It's like hard to watch him play basketball. Yeah. Yeah, especially. That shit look like it hurt whenever he jumped. Especially when you know what he getting paid. He like the coach's son on the high school team.
Starting point is 01:23:22 It's like, all right, dog. I know why you're starting because your dad is the coach but this is getting fucking ridiculous and you throwing a fit every time you miss a fucking layup is not helping either do you think that that uh and we're gonna get off of basketball but do we think that um doc rivers would trade his son he would yeah i think he got paid already he got paid he got his got paid already. He got paid. He got his son paid already. Okay. I mean. But I understand why he wouldn't trade him right now since Chris Paul is hurt.
Starting point is 01:23:54 I understand that. That I do understand. Oh, Chris Paul is hurt. He's hurt. For the season. For the season? No, no. He'll be back in about five weeks.
Starting point is 01:24:04 Yeah, yeah. I'm about to say no, no. He'll be back. He's a dub for the season. For the season? No, no, he'll be back in about five weeks. Yeah, yeah, I'm about to say no, no, he'll be back. He's a dub for the season. He'll be back. This is dumb. I don't like that people talk about Carmelo Anthony in a light that they don't talk about Chris Paul and whoever else came out in that class that didn't win shit. But I'm off of my basketball shit.
Starting point is 01:24:19 Some really big, important awards show happened, but... The SAG Awards? I'm ignorant, so i don't remember no what did the they announced they announced something where black people cleaned up the sag awards the sag awards which is normally an indication that of what the uh oscars the oscars are gonna do sag is normally an indicator of what the Oscars are going to do. So that's why everyone's excited, because there was a black nominee in every category for SAG. Yes, that's what it was.
Starting point is 01:24:52 That's impressive. I watched Fences, finally. I haven't seen it, but what did you think? Oh, I watched Girl on the Train, finally, but go with Fences first. Acting Clinic from Viola and Denzel other than that I was a little lost I was lost once he came home and apologized for
Starting point is 01:25:11 whatever he apologized for for having a baby on the way what is the synopsis of this movie I mean I've seen the trailer but I still didn't grasp exactly what it's about it's about you it's about a nigga with a girl who had a baby with some other girl. It's about future you.
Starting point is 01:25:28 Is it my biopic? Yes. And then I berate my son for 90 minutes? You got a big budget. I don't know how you and Zelda end up playing you. So, yeah. Tell me your girl on the train thoughts. I enjoyed it.
Starting point is 01:25:43 I thought, and from everyone i spoke to they absolutely hated it i thought it was like it was clearly not as good as gone girl but it was still in that realm of of movie i thought it was good yeah girl on the train was didn't you hate it fake gone girl yeah it was definitely fake it was fake gone girl yo so like like i did gone girl like within the first half So I bumped into Some TV show That Is
Starting point is 01:26:07 I've been crying ever since Brooklyn Nine-Nine Oh with Andy Samberg Rory you are that friend That knows people's names I don't fucking know Famous comedian
Starting point is 01:26:20 I don't know Oh you're talking about With Andy Samberg No I don't know Fucking no What is it about? You should expand your TV comedian palette. Brooklyn Nine-Nine is about a police station.
Starting point is 01:26:33 It's funny cops. It's like the office in a precinct. Okay. Not as funny as the office. Don't think I'm saying that, office people. I think you're saying that. Shut up, Rory. I'm not saying it's funny as funny as the office.
Starting point is 01:26:46 But Brooklyn Nine-Nine is hilarious. I've been crying. I've been crying. All right, nobody cares. Yo, you know what? I'm going to fire both you niggas. When these niggas
Starting point is 01:26:55 don't want to talk about some shit... You entered Brooklyn Nine-Nine and was like, why don't you guys talk about it? I know nothing about that show. And then I mentioned the name of the actor on it. Well, why don't you sound want to talk about it? I know nothing about that show. And then I mentioned the name of the actor on it.
Starting point is 01:27:05 Well, why don't you sound like the guy on the mic that knows nothing about the show that's intrigued some for the listeners? Because I said his fucking name and you berated me for knowing it. What the fuck is wrong with you? When Maul don't care about some shit, that nigga write this phone,
Starting point is 01:27:19 see what the bitches throw him out. Nah, that's not what I was doing. I wasn't reading it. Maybe he was Googling Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Yeah, I bet. That's not what I was doing. I was reading. God damn it. Maybe he was Googling Brooklyn Nine-Nine. Yeah, I'm trying to see what Brooklyn Nine-Nine is like. Yeah, I bet. That's exactly what he was doing. Googling Brooklyn Nine-Nine. That's what I'm doing.
Starting point is 01:27:32 I'm sure he is. Brooklyn Nine-Nine. I feel like Breakfast Club recently had another important interview that we failed to mention. Breakfast Club. Corsette was the last one
Starting point is 01:27:39 I remember. I thought it was another good one. But okay, fine. Rest in peace to Mary Tyler Moore. Yes. And Q from Worldstar, fine. Rest in peace to Mary Tyler Moore. Yes. And Q from Worldstar. Yeah. Rest in peace to Q from Worldstar who, and again,
Starting point is 01:27:53 I really hope that y'all don't tune into this podcast for facts. I don't have any of those. I'm hearing, allegedly, that this was a heart attack. In his sleep, from what I understand. In his sleep, as he were. They just signed a team deal, right? They said he was in a massage parlor. That's what they said.
Starting point is 01:28:15 Oh, I thought he was asleep in his bed. I didn't know he was. Now, rest in peace to Q and my prayers and condolences to his family. And I don't want to sound insensitive here, but one of the first things I thought when I heard that was, wow, that's great. Why? Because if you have to pick a way to go. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:28:36 Going to a massage parlor to be in your most relaxed state and just close your eyes to never open them, I think a lot of us sign up for that if we get to sign up for how we exit. Hate to be that guy in the room, but I did think that. Unfortunately, he was very young, 44.
Starting point is 01:28:59 I can't say this enough. Black men, black men, black men, men and people, period, but black men, please go get checkups. Please go to the doctor. I just recently had some shit. My aunt, who is fighting MS, had blood clots and was in a hospital and they had a hard time figuring out what the fuck that was.
Starting point is 01:29:23 So that was frightening. You just have to go to the doctor, especially when you're up in age up in age when i say up in age i mean my age and up 36 and up as a black man i'm dreading having to go and get that uh shit that shit stuck in my ass prostate oh my god jesus marion joseph it's not pleasant Oh my god Jesus Marian Joseph It's not pleasant Oh my god Would you stop telling us Your little Henny Palooza After party story

Please tweet me if I'm wrong, but I have been there and not seen a single thing. I'm not even going to let you do that wrong. They put something up. They did. They did.
Starting point is 01:30:25 They put something up. They put something up. So, yeah. What's happening this weekend outside of Super Bowl? Give me your Super Bowl picks. I got Patriots by six. That's it?
Starting point is 01:30:39 I'm asking two Patriot fans to give me their picks. Pats by six. Am I getting a score? to give me their picks. Pats by six. Am I getting a score? Just give me a range. 21-27. 21-27, I got it. Maul, give it to me.
Starting point is 01:30:54 Patriots 31, Atlanta 17. 31-17. I'm going Falcons 44. That's what you think? He don't believe that. No, he don't believe that. Yes, I do. No, you don't.
Starting point is 01:31:12 My bad. I think the vaunting fucking Patriot defense is stopping somebody. Falcons 44. So what are we scoring? A lot. A lot. More than 44? No.
Starting point is 01:31:24 Okay. I don't have y'all winning. Okay. That's what I was trying to figure out. Even though that's a dummy's bet because I do think Bill Belichick stole that book bag. I know you do. I 100% think Bill Belichick stole that fucking book bag. I know you do.
Starting point is 01:31:35 And I think he knows all the plays. I know you do. And we will find out this Sunday. But, all right, my non-book bag score is 44-41. I think we even get to see Tom get a chance to drive his team down the field in dramatic fashion. Now, my book bag score is Patriots 31, Falcons, like, 20. They ain't going to smack them niggas on the book bag score. They ain't going to do too much.
Starting point is 01:32:11 The book bag score. Hey, Devontae Freeman, sorry, bro. The book bag score ain't letting it happen. So that's this Sunday. I do think that the day after Super Bowl should be a national holiday all across the board. I don't know why they don't do that. This is bullshit.
Starting point is 01:32:28 This is bullshit. It is. I mean, I say that like I got a job. You say it like you got to get up at 8 a.m. Well, I get up pretty early anyway. But I'm just saying,
Starting point is 01:32:36 everybody in the universe is going to some type of Super Bowl party. Everybody's getting drunk at the Super Bowl. It's pretty funny they're saying that there's a petition
Starting point is 01:32:44 going around for Migos to replace Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl. It's pretty funny they're saying that there's a petition going around for Migos to replace Lady Gaga at the Super Bowl. That is pretty funny. That is pretty funny. It's also not happening, you fucking morons. Black Twitter stuff
Starting point is 01:32:52 would never put... You fucking black Twitter. Just seeing everyone's reaction of who the fuck are these three would be hilarious to me. Listen, there would be nobody
Starting point is 01:33:00 in that. Everybody would go get a hot dog if they see the Migos come out. I didn't even fucking. I meant to text Rory and apologize to you and let you know I felt bad. I haven't even seen your storyline play out on Love & Hip Hop anymore.
Starting point is 01:33:14 They just totally got rid of you. They just got me the fuck out of here. Threw you to the side. This shit is crazy. They got my girls wilding in Mexico with all the other chicks. They packed up. They sent everybody to Mexico to stretch a storyline. Cardi B wilded out
Starting point is 01:33:27 and cursed everybody out on VH1 for making her look like a dub. Yeah. What you mean? VH1 sent all the girls to Mexico, right? And I guess on that episode,
Starting point is 01:33:42 the storyline played out like Excuse me, Juju invited everyone to Mexico, not VH1? Yeah, my bad. And I guess on the episode, the storyline played out like... Excuse me, Juju invited everyone to Mexico, not VH1? Yeah, my bad. Yeah, Juju invited everyone to Mexico, and then what's her name came fucking... I don't know. It's too much shit. But anyway, somebody was beefing about Cardi showing up with her sister and Mariah Lynn.
Starting point is 01:34:06 Who's girl, Rory, by the way. What? Nah, now we might need to throw hands. I was fine with a finger in my ass at a heavy palooza party. That I'm not standing for. We got to fight now. Wait, I'm Mariah Lynn in the face? Mariah Lynn is not girl Rory?
Starting point is 01:34:23 No. Thank you, Morgan. I can't let you get that off my heart. That's crazy. Yiah Lynn is not girl Rory. No. Thank you, Mo. I can't let you get that off of me. I appreciate that. That's crazy. Yo, y'all niggas is horrible, man. The Creep Squad is back together. Creep Squad made up.
Starting point is 01:34:32 Dog, dog, dog. Whoopty fucking do. I don't ever want to hear Creep Squad. Dog, I tweeted this, and I want to say it on here, too. Please settle down before you're 45 years old in Midtown doing a Creep Squad chant in front of a rented Bentley. Before that Mr. Krabs meme has to come around you, please. For the love of God, settle down. Mona, call me, man.
Starting point is 01:34:50 Call me. Want you to join the creep squad? I'll give you me and my baby at a discounted rate. Me and my baby. Why at a discounted rate? Maybe an X out throw in there, too. You got to pick one. Erica.
Starting point is 01:35:06 Two for one extras. Listen, we'll give you Erica and you'll get Tahiri half off. This nigga's sick. Man, what's wrong with you? Exes half off. Half off on the exes. Yo, that is pretty funny more. Alright, that's funny. Alright, that's almost too funny now.
Starting point is 01:35:25 You know some shit is funny when you feel like you're about to get in trouble. I was about to say what's really about to be funny is when Sin hit his butt. I love you, baby. Yeah, now it's I love you, baby.
Starting point is 01:35:36 I know, I know. Is there anything else happening that we have to care about? Not that I can think of. I don't care about mad shit. Super Bowl Sunday coming up man That's it Are you doing a party?
Starting point is 01:35:47 No I'm not doing a party However People are welcome What that means is I'm not inviting anyone If niggas call me And say what you're doing
Starting point is 01:35:57 Then cool That's what Call me then You know what I mean Yeah I'm not inviting Inviting means You're responsible for like You're just responsible
Starting point is 01:36:06 You got a host I don't want to be responsible I want to actually watch the game I'm one of those people Yeah When you say you're having A Super Bowl party You expect like a layout
Starting point is 01:36:14 A spread Yeah nah nah Only dumbass Vern And niggas is trying to go Yo let's go to Houston No Vern No Vern I'm not going to Houston
Starting point is 01:36:23 I'm not the let's go To the Super Bowl guy Yeah no sorry Never that guy Sorry Vern I'll be, Vern. I'm not going to Houston. I'm not the let's go to the Super Bowl guy. Yeah, no, sorry. I'm never that guy. Sorry, Vern. I'll be home, man. Yeah, I'm always in the house when we're at Super Bowl. That'll be an interesting mix.
Starting point is 01:36:34 Even when it was here, I didn't have no desire to actually go. There wasn't really shit going on in the city. Yeah, but I still wish I would have Airbnb'd my crib. I wasn't very smart back then. That was the come up. Don't worry. I'm waiting for it now to come back around. Though that'll be an interesting mix of women between Atlanta and Houston this coming weekend.
Starting point is 01:36:55 So I kind of see Vern's point, actually. I would go because, I mean, if I was single, I'd go. Houston, we already know, has some of the most beautiful women in the world. I agree. And all of the strippers and the escorts, they buying houses this weekend. They putting them down. Did you see dumbass Del at the fucking Pro Bowl? Did you see Del?
Starting point is 01:37:18 Oh, dancing. Dancing Del. Why you hate him? Dancing Del. That's his name. Let Del dance. Do we have a choice? No.. That's his name. Let Del dance. Do we have a choice? No. The nigga won't stop. God damn it.
Starting point is 01:37:30 Dancing Del. 20 niggas on the field waiting to snap. The whole time I'm sitting there, what do they call it? It's not a shot clock. What the fuck they call it in football? The play clock. I'm thinking, I'm watching this whole shit going, how long is the fucking play clock? But you know why I wasn't mad at that, though?
Starting point is 01:37:45 Because the Pro Bowl needs— Because you OVO and he's OVO. No, the Pro Bowl needs some excitement. The Pro Bowl is fucking terrible. Nobody watches the Pro Bowl. They have to change the landscape of it when they do it. It has to be after the Pro Bowl. So you're saying the Pro Bowl needs some excitement?
Starting point is 01:38:02 It does. So you're saying Odell's exciting? No, I'm just saying the game is not exciting. So Odell dancing excites you. I'm not saying that. No, no. Wait, wait, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa. I'm not asking you what you're saying.
Starting point is 01:38:13 I don't know. Fuck you. I'm not saying that Odell dancing excites me. I'm saying that the game is boring. I'm not mad at him dancing. So him being outside the huddle, he's probably like, fuck, this game is whack. This shit is boring. I might as well dance okay but the word you used was the game is boring was exciting no no nigga the game is exciting
Starting point is 01:38:32 you said exciting the game needs some excitement and he's so so i wasn't implying that his dance was exciting motherfucker fuck is you doing this is the reason why he said I've been inviting him to fight For a month Let's just fight Let me just square up Alright fine Del's not exciting Del First of all
Starting point is 01:38:54 Del is crazy Del Calling him Del is crazy Calling him Odell is crazy When I was looking for some O Alright so that's it If we forgot If we forgot something Alright so that's it If we forgot If we forgot something

Starting point is 01:39:43 Ro James came over. Me and him kicked it, talked. That was was that. Yeah. Ro James came over. Me and him kicked it, talked. That was really fun. At the spot? No, at my house. Song coming? No, Ro James came to the crib. Uh-huh.
