Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm Gina Livy, and welcome to the Livy Method podcast. This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams for my 91-day weight loss program. With a combination of daily lives, guest expert interviews, and member stories, there is something new almost every day. Miss the morning live? Want to re-listen to one of our amazing guest experts? Well, this is the place. This podcast is hosted on ACAST, but it's available on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music. Hi, I'm just posting an insist story talking about our final effing live.
Starting point is 00:00:40 Hi, ladies. Hi. Oh, good morning. Let me just post this. I can't believe it's our final. What the heck is even going on here? I don't even know. I've been thinking that all week.
Starting point is 00:00:49 Like, wow, how is it week 12? Mm-hmm. You know, it goes by so quick every single time. And it's hard to, like, express that to people in the beginning because, you know, we know it's going to go by so fast, but you never ceases to amaze me. How are you today, ladies? Good. How are you? I'm good. Yeah, I'm good, too. I mean, it's, it's 9 a.m. for you and I, Gina, so I think we're good for Kim's over on the live. So she's, it's like 6 o'clock in the morning for you. You look so fresh face for 6 o'clock in the morning. Thanks. I have a really good
Starting point is 00:01:22 under-eye concealer that. Or maybe you shouldn't go to bed last night. Maybe that's the key, right? Stay up all night. Day up all night, then I'll be ready to go. Yes. Well, Odette, I kind of feel prepared because you and I had our final live of the maintenance program yesterday and we had such a good chat. For those of you who don't know Odette, I know we introduced her this past weekend for, you know, obviously one of our, we have been introducing all of our incredible team members. But Odette is the manager of our maintenance program.
Starting point is 00:01:51 She's been with me from the beginning with that. So how long have we been running that now? The maintenance program came together. We officially opened in July of 2022, but in the works for almost, I would say, five to six months before that we were doing all the background work. And I've been with you as a team member since September, 2021, but hanging out following you lurking since 2018. So I've been around a while. Well, both Kim and Odette started as program specialist, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:02:27 Yeah. Yeah. Part time. Yeah. Yeah. Okay, so let's talk about, let's talk about maintenance because so many people are, you know, so many are ready for maintenance and that's really exciting for them and they're going to see you and see us together in jail, but so many people, not even a concept of maintenance yet, just really focused on their weight loss goal. What do you want to tell people about the maintenance program who maybe aren't even close to maintenance? Yeah. I think that's, that's a great way to start because this concept of maintenance is so foreign to so many, right? Like they just, they've been so focused on losing weight for so long. They can't even understand that there's this life after weight loss.
Starting point is 00:03:11 But what do you mean, like, what do you mean I have to maintain it after? What do you mean I have to, I have to, you know, it's not just this magic thing that happened. So I think that what I want them to know about the maintenance program is that it's this place where you're going to come that might feel unfamiliar, You might feel uncomfortable because you've never done it before. But it's this time that is so needed to not only solidify your body, like let your body just chill where it is, let your body settle into, to, you know, this new size, but also believe and trust that there is a life beyond weight loss. Like that's, I think, the bulk of the program as well. It's just helping you understand that there doesn't have to be the cycle of losing and gaining and losing and gaining. There really is this place where you can come and, you know, help your body solidify,
Starting point is 00:04:01 but also help your mindset solidify and help you let go of that past baggage, even trauma sometimes of that cycle of losing me. Yeah, well, you know, the conversations and maintenance are that we are having, nobody else is having out there. It's so hard to describe because you're right. It's so new and so foreign to people before they've lost weight. And none of the big players have ever cared about helping people maintain their weight. So it hasn't really been part of the conversation.
Starting point is 00:04:31 And that's one of the things I think we do really well. And a lot of it based on the feedback from our members. So this is why if you're listening right now and you're in the weight loss program, please fill out the survey because we actually make so many changes to the program based on your feedback. You are the ones doing it. And we are far from perfect. But especially with the maintenance program, it's been all, well, a lot of it has been Ruth Kane and her research.
Starting point is 00:04:55 She's been studying people who've been successful in maintenance. Obviously, I've been able to maintain my weight for over 30 years. But really, in terms of the conversations that we need to have, a lot of that is based on the members. What is the conversation that does surprise you the most about maintenance? The conversation, so I think it's that members don't put together how much stress. and their triggers affect their ability to maintain their weight. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:05:28 I think that's what was most surprising. I think that, you know, you think, well, you know, the weight loss, Olivia method weight loss program worked for me. You know, following that basic food plan worked for me. I don't have to change anything. But I think what's surprising is that when those first things happen, that first holiday season, that first stressful situation, that first situational change happens,
Starting point is 00:05:51 that that can really, I mean, for lack of, of a better word, derail you and have you spiraling back into old habit. I think that's what surprised me the most is that putting those together, how big of an impact stress, situational change, and being triggered by something can really, you know, throw you off your game a little bit. Yeah, well, this is where it kind of relates to people in weight loss right now. As we're about to wrap up this program, people are going to the holidays, and we're talking about use this as a time to see what you got and let some of those issues.
Starting point is 00:06:23 pop up because these are the things that you're working on so that when you hit maintenance, you've done already a lot of that work. So what do you say about the contrast between the weight loss program and the maintenance? Because I know you're also in the maintenance program and joining us for some of those conversations. Yeah, it's, I think there's been that transition into it is such a key thing is that it's not a switch that you turn off. I know we listened to Kim Spink and her spill the tea the other day and she said it was like taking the hat off. and putting another hat on, which was an amazing conversation, by the way. So if anybody's, you know, check out our podcast, such a good conversation.
Starting point is 00:07:00 But it's, there is, there has to be, and this is what she discovered in her first maintenance program, there has to be that period of adjustment or transition because when you're going into the holiday season for weight loss members right now, I mean, we're all feeling it, you know, everybody's in it. They're like, okay, I'm feeling really proud of myself. I've come this far. And then as soon as they step out of the door on Sunday night when the program's done, slap. It's the holiday season.
Starting point is 00:07:30 Some people, you know, our American friends have already had Thanksgiving and it's on that spiral. There's not time for them to settle in and not test themselves out right away. There's no slow transition into the reality of bam. It's the holiday season. Everything's here. You know, when this program ends, I think the only time you really have an opportunity to ease in between programs is between the winter program in the spring program because it's not a big gap. But I think going in, you don't have that time to transition.
Starting point is 00:08:00 And when the maintenance members who are just coming across their first holiday season after maintaining might not be expecting that smack because they've been kind of coasting for a little while. And I think the holiday season heading into it, it doesn't matter if you've had one holiday season since you've lost your weight or you've had 20. No two holiday seasons are going to be the same. There's going to be different things that are going to come up. There's going to be different experiences.
Starting point is 00:08:28 And it's just like members having different experience, each group. Every time you go through the program, the program may be the same or similar. You know, we're always upgrading it and leveling up. But it's the same basic program in general. You're coming in with a different body. You're coming in as a different person. But life is also going to be throwing different things at you. So you're going through these different things.
Starting point is 00:08:51 Your programs are going to be different. based on what you have going on in your life. And if you don't have those things going on in your life when you're doing a weight loss program, they might come up in maintenance and you might feel like you're back in the weight loss program because of how mindful you have to be, how much effort you have to put into it.
Starting point is 00:09:08 But it's just because that's never come up before and the next time you experience that, it's going to be that much easier because you're that much stronger. Yeah, and everyone's experience is different. But the thing is the program stays the same. You change. You're the one who's changing.
Starting point is 00:09:22 but the program is the same. That's why when you go into maintenance, it's very similar in terms of what you are eating and when. But the focus and the intention behind the tweaks each week is completely different. And that's where you have to go from that weight lost mindset into that maintenance mindset. I saw a comment here from someone who's like, I'm going away on a cruise for two weeks really scares me. First of all, I love that.
Starting point is 00:09:46 I love that. But this is the thing that we hear a lot in maintenance. They owe debt that people go away on vacation. And they're like, oh, I went away on vacation. and I didn't gain any weight or I went away on vacation, my weight is up. And now after getting back on track, their weight is right back down. It gets easier to maintain and sustain your weight the longer you sustain and maintain your weight as well. We hear that all the time.
Starting point is 00:10:06 Yeah, we hear it all the time. And I think that comes with experience why it's so important to spend that time in maintenance. Like we even, you and I were talking yesterday. We were celebrating our members in maintenance. And I think it was Judy that said, I've been on three cruises this year. I've been on holidays. I've been through a stressful situation. And my weight's only fluctuated six pounds.
Starting point is 00:10:27 Like, yeah. And then she, you know, then I came home and back on track and it's down again. It'll probably be up again another couple of pounds. But you get comfortable within that range. You understand those patterns that your body has. And that just comes with experience and time. If you haven't done it before, you don't know that that's normal for you or you don't know that that's your natural pattern.
Starting point is 00:10:48 So spending that time and maintenance is so important to, just to be able to understand that. So yes, I think experience, and that's why we are hearing that in maintenance because they're having those experiences. Yeah. I know we've been celebrating our members all along with our member spotlight and our spilled tea conversations. But if you haven't done it yet, make sure you pop over to the Celebrate and Inspire Post and add your voice to it just for you. Be really proud of yourself. There's lots of before and afters and some great photos. Those are always really nice to see, but you don't have to have that in order to celebrate. yourself or even if you don't feel so inspired this round, go read some of those posts because
Starting point is 00:11:27 if someone else can do it, you can do it too. I have Kim, hi Kim, good morning, almost at the end and lost the battle this round. Life, willpower, mindset and everything else got in my way, not giving up, right? And you know, you're a rock star for still being here. But Kim and Odette, I want to give you an opportunity to address Kim and how she's feeling super valid. But as we know, she's, you know, she's a rock star. We hear this a lot, right? Yeah. And I think, I mean, my first thought as soon as you started reading that is like, how amazing that Kim is still here.
Starting point is 00:11:59 We're on day 926 of the program or whatever we're out right now. I'm just still being here to put that out there. Like, this has happened. This is where I'm at. But I'm still showing up. And I think just the fact that you're aware and present and knowing like this wasn't my best round. There are things I could have done differently. There were things that happened that I didn't have control that affected my outcome and how I'm doing and still showing up and being
Starting point is 00:12:30 like, you know what? This is life threw some stuff at me, but I'm still here. And I think to me, that's the big piece of it. Because if you give up, that's never going to happen. But still being here and recognizing that you're struggling, but you're still showing up is, I think that's huge. You won the battle if you can do that. Yeah. Well, and Kim, I mean, you didn't make it through your first few programs. Like, Kim didn't even actually make it through her, let alone, you know, be here at the end. I wasn't here at the end. I was not you, Kim. I was not here. To watch the final live. Kim's program, your first program, you made it to what week? Six, five, six around there. I actually no the very first one it was like week three or something like that and I bailed after losing nine pounds I don't even know what I was thinking like I was one of those people that I want to be like what are you thinking now and then after that it was like around week six that I just like and it was a combination of that like willpower the mindset like the willpower I think is the first thing to go when something else comes in the way like if you have a struggle you have a struggle you have
Starting point is 00:13:47 have a challenge like you get sick you have stress at work something throws your the willpower is the first thing to go it's the worst thing to actually rely on when it comes to weight loss that's why around here we teach strategies versus just like be strong avoid the thing it's like work through that those feelings on it but yeah like i i was still here and you know i lost over 50 pounds but it took me a lot of false starts and a lot of rounds that i didn't succeed in before I finally got my groove and was like, okay, I'm here. I'm ready to do this. And I don't even know if there was a secret to what had it click for me other than I was just ready and the timing was right. And I kind of had enough. And I think everybody's going to get
Starting point is 00:14:35 there. But you got to keep showing up to the end like Kim did. Well, I mean, there's a, we have someone on our team who I remember they did something like six rounds before they finished. And then they finally were like, I'm going to make some non-negotiables in my life. And they're like, that's it. I have to do this for me. And but I have so much respect for that because that's like six, you know, attempts of like, okay. And then realizing, all right, this is, I got, I have to do this for me. And then they followed through and they were successful. So, Odette, what do you want to add to that? Um, I just want to go back to the word, um, Kim said at the beginning. She said, you know, being aware, Kim is aware of, of this happening to her. Not this Kim, Kim, the comment Kim.
Starting point is 00:15:15 You know, she was aware that this happened to her, that this is what's going on. But what I loved about the language that she used in her comment was life, willpower, mindset, and everything else got in my way. So I think what's powerful about this is that she doesn't say I got in my own way. I didn't fail. You know, these circumstances happened. So now that they've happened, I can move forward and navigate. around them like she acknowledged that those things happen to her not like what's wrong with me did
Starting point is 00:15:50 what I failed I can't do it I you know I'm a loser like that's that's not what the language that we use around here and she didn't use this language and I love that because she's she's acknowledging that things life happens things are going to happen around you but not giving up and showing up and keeping going that's the mindset shift that happens with this program with the weight loss program i'm not even talking maintenance now with the weight loss program yes that mindset shift and that awareness that's i think that's what's amazing from kim's comment here i'm hearing um thank you both for that i'm hearing people say the holiday season really scares me right like it it's got a lot of feels first of all if you have not watched the conversation with sandra alia yesterday gosh you guys i just
Starting point is 00:16:36 i read over the list of guest experts i could not so if you missed the team posted all the guest I mean, they're in the app under the guest expert tab. But to see all of the conversations that we have had over the 91 days, I mean, even if you miss some of them, they're there if you want to get caught up. Holy crap. I was actually stressed about that many links going into a post in Facebook without a gate. I was like, we're going to cut back on the guest conversations. Like, we're not going to be allowed to do this.
Starting point is 00:17:11 We're going to crash the app because we're so awesome. I had a backup plan I was working on in my head if it didn't work. When I saw it, I was like, you've got to be kidding me. How does Gina have time to talk to all these people? How am I like not exhausted and tired? Conversations give me life. You know, I was thinking, wow, is that too much? But I'm like, it's not work, right?
Starting point is 00:17:32 It's just like listening and observing and continuing the conversation in a way that makes sense. Oh, my gosh. I do want to, which reminds me, I want to ask. you about some of your favorite moments of the program but that's such a that's such a you know there's a lot of people dealing with a lot I leave next week to stay with my daughter-in-law until after new years my son is deployed so he won't be there I'll be away from my traditions and my husbands my kitties and my family here that's so tough they take away the holidays and that would be tough let alone have it be the holiday season you know and that's like no one would blame me if
Starting point is 00:18:06 you just ate your face off but you know at the end of the day we have to bring that awareness to it's not going to make us feel great. So is there other ways that you can, you know, take time for yourself? Maybe go for walks or journal or find something for you in there, you know? Yeah. I was going to just say, I love that Sandra Elya said that yesterday about the expectations. Yeah. It's the holiday season.
Starting point is 00:18:34 So the expectation should be that it should be magical and beautiful and all that, you know, all that you see out there on social media and on those Christmas movies that, you know, that's what it should feel like and that it should always just smell like gingerbread and the snow shouldn't be cold. It should be pretty, but it shouldn't be cold. You know, I think there's a lot to be said about that expectation. Like you slap the word holiday season on it and all of a sudden it's supposed to be magical and we know it doesn't have to be the case. And I love that she said that about the expectations. Like maybe you have to set some different expectations. Maybe it's not just around the food and how you want to feel on January 1st, but it's not the best of all those days
Starting point is 00:19:15 around there. Yeah. To your point, what else can you do? If you don't have the magically decorated house or you don't have, you know, the perfect dinner, you know, what, what is there that can be celebrated in those few days that are, you know, in that holiday season? All right. Sort of the same, similar, what I was about to say when, when you started was that whole expectations thing is huge. And I think that this, and obviously the conversation yesterday really had me thinking about that for like our members also for myself is like, where did the expectations come from and which ones of them are actually mine? Which one of the expectations are ones that are my expectations? Which ones are ones that I think other people expect of me? But maybe they don't even care.
Starting point is 00:20:03 And, you know, which ones can be let go of? And I think that would be a good, like a good little homework for members. members going into the group is just looking at what you have. If you are scared, if you are stressed, if you are feeling ways about it, just look and see what things that you can do to change that. To, you know, Gina's point, what can you do for yourself, whether it be like, make sure you go up for a walk so that you get your me time or whatever. But maybe there's a few other things that you can do for yourself too, like saying no to a couple of the events that you find yourself at every year, but maybe hate every minute of, you know,
Starting point is 00:20:39 we're buying gifts for people that you can't afford. Yeah. Like bring it back. Reframe it, like reclaim it, right? Make it something new. It's the same thing every freaking year. Let's switch that up a little bit. I love traditions.
Starting point is 00:20:53 Don't get me wrong. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, I feel like there's a lot of expectations that have like been put on us generationally too about like we always do this. We always do that. and I have to remind myself constantly that I'm an adult and actually get to like I'm an adult and I am a parent I have my own family I can make my kids do stuff but people can make me do things but otherwise people can't do things so I know just a little reminder that you're the in control of your own destiny when it comes to you know how you show up for the holiday season well on you and yeah I know I recognize that there are some things that you can't get at out of, but look for the things that you can change.
Starting point is 00:21:38 Yes. And make little tweaks to that to try to make you happy and help you take care of yourself. Yeah, some people are talking about how they don't watch the expectations. They don't watch those Hallmark movies. That's why I watch Die Hard. Like, I watch Die Hard. I love Love, actually, because that's like, that's a messed up.
Starting point is 00:21:55 Yeah. Or something crazy, like The Princess Switch or something absolutely ridiculous. Yeah. What's your, yeah. Sorry, go ahead, Odette. No, I was like, Elf is always a good time, too. There's zero rotations in that one. We have a specific order of, like, we have to watch, like, we like watch the holiday,
Starting point is 00:22:13 you know, where they switch the two houses and then Elf. And then we have like serendipity. Then we have like a whole series. We have to watch the family man. What's that one with, is that the one family man with Nicholas Cage? Yeah, we have a whole order of movies. But what's your favorite Christmas holiday movie? oh oh my god
Starting point is 00:22:36 because there's so many so every year I could watch I could watch the Christmas story every year you're going to shoot your eye out yeah watch that one every year I could watch um the Griswold's Christmas vacation every year like just I mean and just like say those one-liners every time you know I could watch that every year there's so many like I don't know if I could if someone said you have
Starting point is 00:23:03 to pick only one I would like I think one is tough to do but I would go elf is definitely one of my top one yeah I this what is the one with um kurt russell and goldy hawn oh you know cause or something I love that one for it's a newer Christmas chronicles yes christmas chronicles yeah I love that one I also my husband and I always make sure we watch bad Santa one night while we're watching presents. Yeah, or the bad mom's Christmas, if you're looking for one. Oh, that one was so funny. Yeah, we should make a list. Look at everyone's a sound of music, Christmas vacation. The Grinch. We love crinch, die hard, the holiday, Santa Claus. Yeah, I love that. Okay, so we are about to post our favorite things giveaway. There's no rush,
Starting point is 00:23:54 so you can stick around for the next few minutes to celebrate our 26th program. I can't believe that. We are giving away 26, I don't like prizes. I don't, prizes seems weird, but we got some fun stuff. We're giving away a walking pad, one of my favorite necklaces from Dean Davidson, Bathorium products. We've got some new ones in there, too, some of my new faves, cozies, of course. So all you have to do to enter to win is tell us your favorite thing about the program. So you can enter to win in the Facebook support group in the post.
Starting point is 00:24:29 also over on social media. So follow us over on our Instagram and our Facebook pages. And if you don't know, yes, we have a whole like Facebook page over there. And all you have to do is find the post and tell us your favorite thing. You don't have to tag any friends or family or nothing. You just tell us your favorite thing about the program for your chance to win. And then we're going to announce the winners on Sunday. Kim, Odette, favorite thing about the program.
Starting point is 00:24:56 Favorite thing about the fall program? Oh, favorite thing about this program. I had a favorite moment of the fall 2025 program and I know exactly when it was. Yeah. It was last Tuesday was my favorite day of the fall program. No, I'm very specific. I'm very specific. I, you guys, if anybody was watching Tweek this week in week nine when I got a little spicy
Starting point is 00:25:24 about members that were complaining. you are so I remember yeah so last week so not like you so not like I love it I'm here for it but you know I love it let the passion I was I did some reflection and I was like where did that come from and I was like no it came from the members because we had one member say I haven't noticed anybody saying that I'm like well okay you maybe you don't read every comment every single day like I was ready to get in a fight with somebody about it like I know the mood of my people okay Some of them are not doing well right now. Anyway, so last week, I'm doing all my notes for the tweet this week.
Starting point is 00:26:04 And I was like, oh, my gosh, they're like, they turned a corner. And I saw collectively the mood of the group, change it. Shalana, assistant manager. She noticed it too. She's like, are you reading the comments? I'm like, yes, they have found their groove. They went. Like, week nine and 10 was a dark place for some people in the group.
Starting point is 00:26:26 And in week 11, and we usually get a lot of like, oh, and I'm sorry, Jody, he's going to start nudging me because it's not rapid fire. But there's like, it was like a corner was turned and generally we see people stressing more in week 11. In this group, they were like, it almost felt like I could feel the confidence coming from people. That was my favorite. Last Tuesday was my favorite part of the fall program. I just reading someone's comment. Favorite thing about this program, this post will be the anti-reddit for Gina and Kim. that's true i have been talking about reddit because i just it's so fascinating to me because we're
Starting point is 00:27:05 really just trying to do good things we keep the program super affordable we bring in the best guess like it may not buy your cup of tea i'm definitely not people's cup of tea but i just don't get the hate on it like i just don't like there's science behind it like what you do hate weight watchers and newman like writing about that shit but i've i've turned a corner with that too because i i started reading it because I think there's truth and it's how people feel right so they're valid in how they feel and if I'm reading it it's bothering me there's got to be a truth in that like someone's like okay you know she swears too much okay maybe I you know there have been moments she talks about herself too much yeah I've been through a rough two years it's the only reference I have but maybe
Starting point is 00:27:45 I can be more mindful about that like I've learned a lot I've learned a lot from that's the thing you're allowed to have your moments but then it the thing is learning from though moments, right? Like, I'm all, I'm definitely not perfect. And I would love to sit down with every single person in that Reddit, which some of them you can tell did not make it past week one of the program. Um, honestly. Like, and I know they just want to bitch and complain and have that it. You're allowed. You know, it's free speech, whatever you're allowed. But I would love to sit down with each and every one of them, especially the ones I kicked out and explained to them, hey, like, the reason why I kicked you out is because you're being an asshole. So, you know,
Starting point is 00:28:23 um, but I love self-reflection. So I love that. that. And I love that you were spicy. I love that you were spicy. Yeah. That was my, I'm going to chalk that up. That's my favorite moment too. That was my favorite. I was like, what the fuck is going on? What's going on with Kim today? But the members loved it. They love straight talk. You know, they love straight talk, right? So, yeah. Some of them didn't. I got my own probably Reddit's coming after that. I'm going to go on Reddit just to troll you now. him. I know you are. Me too. I don't even use Reddit, but I'll figure it out. I don't know how either. I would comment, but I don't know how to do that either. And I don't have time. I don't have
Starting point is 00:29:04 time to explain to people. I'm saying, I just stay focused in here. Just there was a Reddit people are not my people. And that's okay. That's okay. Um, Odette, favorite moment. Yeah, so I'm going to be totally transparent. I don't hang out a lot in the weight loss program. Um, and read all the comments. I read some. Um, but my favorite program, I'm a huge. food and nutrition nerd so i love the addition of alicea steinberg i just that she brings food is not um the way that she delivers food and nutrition it's not um i mean i i call myself a nerd but it's not it's totally relatable it's not it's geeky but it's cool at the same time you know when she was talking about when she said like saturated fat it's not about the calories it's
Starting point is 00:29:54 about the heart health, like just, I mean, I loved her. And now I've, like, have a total girl crush on her. But I love the addition of her to this group. I think she's going to make food fun. I think she's going to make it exciting. I think she's going to make it just relatable. Just the way that she presents and she puts it out there. It's simple.
Starting point is 00:30:16 It's relatable. And, yeah, she's awesome. I love the addition of her. I just talked to her last night. She is sweet as pie. I've had an opportunity to meet her. She just seems so cool. What you don't know about her is she was also a person when she was younger that did not
Starting point is 00:30:31 feel cool, did not feel part of the cool club. She's a bit of, she's a lot of a nerd. And but she looks, she seems like she's just, she's gorgeous. And she's one of those people you think, oh, my goodness, she has it all together. She's a mom. She got three young kids. And, you know, she just very much like, oh, my God, I got a lot going on. Just salt to the earth, lovely.
Starting point is 00:30:52 And it's almost, I love people who are. are too good to be true that are just really trying to be really good humans. She's so excited about doing it. She's going to do some fun tips with us. She's going to do like a fun challenge advent calendar over on social. So follow us, follow her. She's going to share a bunch of tips over the holidays. She's like, how can I help your people?
Starting point is 00:31:10 Maybe I can inspire them with some tips. I'm like, please. We recognize that we need to do more food stuff to help people with their meals and snacks. So she's going to do that. I agree. Absolutely lovely. Just really. I'm like, she really this great. Same thing with Sandra Alia and, you know, Sandy Van. And I think that's where when I went off about Sandy Van is also just such a lovely human. Like, these are really good people. Someone's like, Kathy's like, okay, we have to talk about my moment in Spain. Could you imagine if your first live you ever tuned into was Gina saying fuck off a couple of weeks ago.
Starting point is 00:31:49 Horrible. I am horrible. And it was, in all fairness, it was not non. o'clock in the morning for me when I had been angry, it was three o'clock. Here's the thing about the lives. Is it they're not mandatory for this reason? Because I also think they have to be entertaining and they have to be real and, you know, fun and all of that. But yeah, I could imagine. Like, what is this?
Starting point is 00:32:13 You recommend it to your friend. You should. I don't recommend you just jump in on day 70 and start the program. I can be honest and I can be horrible I admit it I'm here I am honest you'll get I'm honest listen I'll go to the ends of earth for you and I can't control my face or my reactions I try I try my mom my mom raised me to be honest my mom one time I think legit but soap in my mouth relying one time and so I cannot I cannot lie okay I digress favorite week favorite favorite thing about the living method favorite moment
Starting point is 00:32:47 of fall favorites what's your favorite snack what do you guys like for snacks. What do you eat for snacks? O'Dette has an answer. Well, I discovered this last year, and I shared it with everybody. So my favorite, my favorite revamp fruit snack now is pineapple avocado with red chili flake. Yeah. Pineapple avocado with red chili flakes. I could eat that every day. It's so good. Avocado with red chili flakes. Yeah, because the pineapple. Yeah, the pineapple juice kind of like mixes with the avocado of it and then you get a hit of heat I don't even know I think I was like one of those like you open the fridge and you're like what I'm what do I have nothing yeah how does one find that snack I needed a fat and I needed a fruit and I'm like I don't I don't know I have I remember
Starting point is 00:33:40 because when you told me you're like oh my god and then I was like oh I have it must have been in the summer because I had those things in my covered I'm pretty sure it was the spring summer program Because I took it outside into the backyard. I remember sitting in the backyard on the deck and eating it. And I'm like, what is this magic? I don't. All right. Anyway, that's like if I have it in the house and it's, that's what I eat.
Starting point is 00:34:05 Okay. Pineapple avocado chili flakes? Yeah, red chili flakes. And a little bit of the pineapple juice. Like it's got to be like juicy mixing with you have. All right. Kim. I don't know if I can talk that.
Starting point is 00:34:19 my favorite snack is not it's that but i don't make that very often so i don't know i'm just i'm pretty boring but i got to say like my my favorite snack has got to just be the classic and it's the food plan revamp again it's not that i don't let if it's the basic snacks i should say the basic snacks my favorite snack hands down is the nut and seed snack yes if we're looking at like things that we add in like with food plan revamp i would be the fruit snack with like just green apple like a granny smith apple with peanut butter or almond butter on it and that would be like my go to yeah i like you like sour i don't have i'm like you eat because you have to yeah olives and like i like olives and cheese and you know i like a big and and artichokes and
Starting point is 00:35:12 sun dried tomatoes are like i love like that for me is uh i love that i love that yeah I guess, yeah, that would be like, yeah, artichokes and olive, sundried tomatoes and a bit of cheese, for sure. It's probably like one of my best. Just a bowl of feta cheese. You know, that's Sonia's favorite. Sonia's favorite snack is just a bowl of butter and a bowl of olives. So we're going to, so as you know, the ladies, we were away. That was a good moment for us.
Starting point is 00:35:38 We were all in St. Lucia. Yeah. Yeah, that was really good. Three of us in Sonia and we were doing a site check because we're going to be doing a retreat there in May and then also in September. and we're going to let you guys know we're working on bigger retreats and more travel and pop-ups and fun stuff to bring our community together. But we are in St. Lucia, and we were all like, what do we want? We're like, we want some olives and cheese. So we literally asked them to bring a bowl of feta and olives. And they were like, what? Yeah. On the first day, they're like,
Starting point is 00:36:11 we're these ladies. And so it's funny because they gave us this, so we all just sat there and ate this bowl of olives and feta and another woman walked by and she's like oh that's you i was in the restaurant when i heard that order come in and i was like that is so smart the the olives and feta that was a good time um okay so i want to read this comment from trisha because i think it sums up just sort of like a really great vibe the last three weeks it seems things are finally falling into place for me i love this weight is down feeling different in my clothes and in my body during my appointment with my cardiologist yesterday. He told me my latest blood work shows my A1C and cholesterol are both down significantly. Ooh, feeling okay about going into the holiday. I love that. You had this
Starting point is 00:36:57 great news and yet you're feeling okay, not great, not excited, not good, just okay. That's okay. That's okay. Feeling okay about going into the holiday and really looking forward to the next program. Thank you. I just want to say before we go that thank you for all of our, Thank you for all of you for showing up and joining us on the lives, whether it's this live, you know, the maintenance, you know, whatever lives, spill the tea, whatever it is. Thank you for every time you asked a question. It's so important that people do that. And every time you commented or supported another member or just shared how you felt or shared your daily intentions or end-of-day reflections, what you don't know is such a small percentage of people are vocal. and 29,000 people joining us in this program.
Starting point is 00:37:44 Not everyone's in the Facebook support group. A lot of people are just using the app. You asking the questions and commenting and being vocal makes everybody feel like they are a part of the community. And we hear this all the time. People will pop in at the end and say, I have not asked a question, but I have been here, reading other people's questions,
Starting point is 00:38:02 reading the responses, reading people's comments and whatever. So it means a lot. It means more than you think every time you do share And you may think you're just throwing it out there. And if no one's responding to you, it doesn't mean anything. You could not be more wrong about that. So please don't stop. Don't stop sharing and commenting and, you know, supporting.
Starting point is 00:38:22 Also, I want to thank our whole entire team. I know Kim and Odette. I was going to ask you guys to talk about like just sort of what goes into the program behind the scenes. But we have program specialists answering our questions, shift supervisors. We have HR. We have our, you know, Laura, who is in our sort of, what's her title?
Starting point is 00:38:43 She's quality, quality principal, making sure you're getting quality responses. We have our production team, the people who make the videos, Jody, behind the scenes, who is sound, Sophia, Robin, our social media team. There's so much. We have 43 people behind the scenes all, you know, rooting for you. Really, our whole mission is you and making sure that you are a success. full truly that these are the conversations behind the same but um kim and odette you know um it could bring me to tears honestly but i won't go there because you know i've cried enough um the passion
Starting point is 00:39:20 that you both have for the program for the members for providing truly the best experience you guys talk about people who care they're they just they make it all about trying to do right by you and make sure you're getting the information and receiving it the right way and truly sifting through all the comments and the suggestions and really every day trying to figure out how to make this better for you. So just thank you, Kim and Odette. I appreciate you. Oh, thank you. I appreciate you. I mean, we see it and it's your passion for the community is contagious and, you know, that's where we get it from. Yeah, I love our community. It's going to be a massive focus. What's next for us? We got our new app coming out. Community is so important. I think
Starting point is 00:40:08 community is like everything so we're going to do more to foster community our new liby with friends program it's free you don't have to take part of it but i think it's super fun in a way to connect with people um you know focusing more on lifestyle and really uh solidifying where we fit in this diet industry as well right so we're we're we're out to you know try to figure out what more what more can we do or work you know what how can we you know anyways whatever odette um i just want to echo what kim said i know he said to you yesterday on our live on on midweek but yeah i mean you've created this space for us i mean i i will take the thank you and i appreciate it but i think like kim said we want to thank you for even creating this like i didn't
Starting point is 00:40:51 know this is where i wanted to be five years ago six years ago i didn't know this was what i wanted to do i know it was you know and i worked in health care and helping people but not like this not on this scale not not as deeply as we do now and really changing lives and and more than changing lives, creating hope, I think that that can be so lost, you know, when people just, they want to make change, but they don't feel hopeful enough to do it. So just like, thank you for having this vision and putting this together and giving us this space that we didn't know, you know, could be created. And you created it. Thank you. I saw this quote this morning on Instagram that was like, it's not what you do. It's how you help. It's how you help and what you do
Starting point is 00:41:35 for others. And I think, you know, I always said that as long as we make our members our mission, that all the business stuff will follow, right? Obviously, you know, I'm entrepreneur. We want to run a successful business. You like getting paychecks, I suppose. You know, you have career aspirations, but, you know, it always comes down to, as long as we focus on helping people, you know, our business is going to be just fine. Before we go, I just want to thank everyone for sharing with their friends and their family because it's not lost on any of us. And no, I say this all the time, but it carries a lot of weight that we would not be able to be here and enjoy the jobs that we do if it wasn't for you sharing with your friends and your family and your coworkers.
Starting point is 00:42:14 We've grown group over group year after year because of you because you share. So thank you. Thank you for doing that. All right. We got to go. Thanks, everyone. I'm just, I do it all the time. Don't forget to fill out the end of program survey and enter the giveaway.

Yeah, I think there's an issue with all of us. I mean, we won't say what they are, but I think one is like popping at the last minute. One never has good sound.
Starting point is 00:43:01 One is battling their light all the time. what like i there's jody always twitches when we there's a lot coming on um if you don't know jody jody jody is the the man behind the scenes who yeah make sure we start on time and and and this whole stream we are this format all of our guests the sound the podcast all of that all of the pop-ups all the little bells and whistles is all jody so um thank you which favorite favorite moment of the year favorite moment of the of the this program um don't say the World Series because I know you're a huge Jays fan but do you know what that still hurts so we're not talking about that yet we're not talking about that okay I may well I'm wearing my hat
Starting point is 00:43:43 more lately but it was a good three weeks I couldn't I couldn't put it on and have those conversations um oh my goodness I didn't expect to be on the spot I really did I agree I like Alyssa was a great ad um to this uh I will say I think also your Spain stream only we watch it differently because I'm like, oh, am I posting this one as a podcast? But it's memorable. Jody was like, are we, are we keeping the end of this? Are we posting this? I'm like, yeah. And post it. Yeah. So, I mean, that's all I could think of on the spot, but sure. Well, this one is pretty great. You've had a few moments where you've had to ask me if we're keeping that part of the podcast, I think. Do you know what? Reading the comments just now, though,
