Hi, welcome everyone. Hello.
Starting point is 00:02:53 We better live up to that, Gina. I'm like, wait, what? So we've been having so much fun behind the scenes. We almost that's why we maybe are a couple of minutes late, but here we are today. I'm going to do a quick introduction. They're all going to be back. You're going to get to know them a lot better. We will also put some information on where to find all of them attached to this post.
Starting point is 00:03:16 So let's start to my right, Dr. Beverly David, clinical psychologist, also sleep research, just all around. Super fantastic, super funny, outdoors woman. Dr. Beverly David. Hello, Gina. Hello, everyone. Happy New Year. I don't know what's your question. Introduction. I don't know. I just know on Dr. Beverly's Instagram account where she shares some great tips. Dr. Dr. Beverly that you're always outdoors. You're always walking. You, I saw you, you were like, you went like you went swimming in winter. Yes. In my waterfall in Wales. It's a wonderful tradition to have our,
Starting point is 00:04:09 it's like a polar dip, it was probably two degrees or whatever it would have been, but just beautiful. And probably the last ever Christmas I'll have with my mum and dad in our home, they've lived there 55 years. So it was a very important swim in the water. But yes, I love the outdoors. I love everything. I love everything.
Starting point is 00:04:30 And I'm a psychologist, and so that's lucky, because I get to do what I love. I never thought I'd be smart enough. I remember in school thinking, yeah, I definitely can't study psychology. That's going to be too hard. And here we are. I just did it, loved it, actually found I absorbed it and I just wanted to understand myself, other people,
Starting point is 00:04:52 what makes us tick, what makes us feel, what makes us seek out comfort, what makes us berate ourselves and it's that's going to, we're going to talk about all of that in this group because it matters. It matters who we are. We're all bringing ourselves to this group in whatever way we're turning up. And hopefully I'll be able to add a little bit of psychology knowledge for you and your members. I love it.
Starting point is 00:05:17 I love it. Next up, we have Dr. Dina Kara-Shaver. She is the author of Feel Good Learning and her brand new book, Raising Well Learners. She is a learning strategist extraordinaire that keeps us all sane, all organized. And to say she's going to help set us up for success doesn't even do it justice. You get into our heads.
Starting point is 00:05:37 You tell, you keep us calm. You are like the keeper of calmness in the program around here and organization to make sure we are showing up doing the things that we are doing. Dr. Dina Kara-Shafer, hello. Hi. Hi, Gina. Well, I have some butterflies right now. It is a total joy to be here each and every time. And Dr. Beverly, when you were listing all the things you love, I'm like, and I and we love you. It is a, it is like a kind of joyful alchemy to be together. You have people here who with their whole hearts really mean it, are living it, are practicing it and are happy to be here. And
Starting point is 00:06:23 sometimes I wonder, I'm like, are you sure you want me to come back? I'm just the learning nerd over there trying to do some junk stuff and how teaching and learning happens. But that's part of it, isn't it? Is what we're here to unlearn. I think about all the students I work with, there's ADHD and learning disabilities and sometimes autism and sometimes illness. All the things that your members are living off and dealing with themselves, as parents, as mentors, as educators. A number of people at the women's show are like, I'm a teacher too, and I totally feel
Starting point is 00:06:55 you. It's a lot of teachers. Hi teachers, first week back. It's a lot. It's a lot. So that's it. Like all the same things from prioritization to remembering to like how do we even start and not be overwhelmed? That's what I'm here to share and with total gratitude, Gina. Happy New Year everyone.
Starting point is 00:07:13 I love it. I love it. Up next, Dr. Alinka Trejo, naturopathic doctor, but really we call her the hormone queen around here because she has a massive passion for talking hormones, which is a conversation we absolutely love. Hello. Hi. Welcome. Hello. Happy and merry everything. I feel so unaccomplished compared to these two. And I know that Dr. Paul is next. So I'm like, oh God, what do I say? I was born on the 17th of February. The 17th of February. Exactly. But the one thing that Dr. Beverly forgot to say is that she loves acronyms more than anybody I have ever met. I don't know how you forgot that. I was waiting for that.
Starting point is 00:07:55 And be like, but anyways, but yes, I love everything about hormones. Like Dr. Paul, I'm a naturopathic doctor and we are here to help you understand that weight loss is so much more than calories in and calories out. You are so much more than your weight and we are here to get strong, not to get skinny. And so our goal through this program for both Dr. Paul and I is going to be to tie a lot of that biology into your weight loss and for you to understand that there's so many things that play a role into your hormones and things that sometimes you don't think about, right? Like how your sleep impacts your hormones and what you choose to eat the next day.
Starting point is 00:08:36 Your stress response, your age, your muscle mass, there's so much that we're going to talk about. And so I, of course, as you guys all know, can turn everything into a hormone conversation, because I believe that hormones are the root of life, as Dr. Paul probably believes that it's the gut. And so, you know, I think that this will be such a beautiful, cohesive and holistic way to finally like approach weight loss in the right way. So if this is the last program that you ever have to do. Beautiful, cohesive and holistic. I love that. Well said, Oenka. Yeah. Dr. Paul's up next. Dr. Paul, I mean you've been with us the longest. You know the program Inside Now. You've seen so many people who've done the program, people who've struggled with the program,
Starting point is 00:09:23 people have done really well with the program, you know a lot about the program. And you're just an all around really great guy as well. Thanks, Gina. That's so kind. I am the OG here. That's true. But, you know, that's really been an absolute blessing and pleasure to be able to have conversations with the last almost five years, you know, that we've been chatting and then really helping people
Starting point is 00:09:46 navigate this journey. And so because I've had a chance to not only chat with you and can you talk about, you know, my niche, which is really looking at the root cause of disease, root cause of symptoms. That's really the foundation of naturopathic medicine, as Olinka mentioned, is that we really try to get in and understand a little bit about everything. So I have a little bit of how physiology and hormones impact psychology. I have a little bit about how medical conditions are being managed or maybe mismanaged. And that naturopathic holistic view really does a good job of understanding where some of the issues are underlying
Starting point is 00:10:30 and really addressing those obstacles. And so you're gonna hear me talk about that with Gina in a number of our sessions that we're gonna be talking about obstacles to wellness, obstacles to optimal body composition. And then, you know, after that, we just try to just drop a little bit of clinical wisdom on you, a little bit of evidence-based nutrition,
Starting point is 00:10:52 a little bit of supplementation to botanical medicine. So we really try to address this holistically, but at the same time, really trying to be as evidence-based as possible. So I kind of take that Sherlock Holmes hat and implement it to really trying to achieve optimal body comp. That's what a conversation is always evolving. We've had the same conversation I don't know how many times,
Starting point is 00:11:14 and it's never the same conversation. We're always open to learning, learning more. And that's what having all of you join us is about, because it's really about providing our members with the skills and the tools and the knowledge that they need to actually make change. So this truly beyond just being the last diet that you ever do,
Starting point is 00:11:34 so you get to a place where you're calm around food, physically, mentally, where dieting is not all consuming, you're just really living your life, but more than that, actually making a difference in your physical health and your mental health. Okay, I got three questions for you today that I'm going to ask. The first one is, if you were to pick one thing,
Starting point is 00:11:54 what is the one thing that makes the Libby Method different than any other diet? Who wants to go first? diet. Who wants to go first? Dina. I'm going to do what a keen student would do. I want to hear what you say first though, Dina. That's why I'm going to do it. Oh shoot. Wait a minute. What have I signed up for? First of all, I like a Dory, but I'm a little bit angry about the question
Starting point is 00:12:30 because there are 15 things. I know. That's fine. That's fine. That's fine. All right, we're not gonna get into a fight on air because I love you. So one thing, and are we gonna be cheeky, like a 15 letter acronym, Dr. Brevett? Whatever you want. Yeah exactly.
Starting point is 00:12:45 One word that's so many things right from habits from like time management and how do we prioritize ourselves and everyone but what I really want to say is if I think about this program as one fundamentally of learning new new strategies new techniques new ideas and unlearning there's like a really interesting like recalibration that happens not just in body but like spirit heart mind if I think about it really, that we are students of Eugenia, we are students of the living method. Then if I if I flip over to my role as an educator and a learning strategist, what helps students what helps learners across the years stay, stay in a program, stay in a degree, stay
Starting point is 00:13:44 in a class or a course, it's not actually the academic performance. It's not if they're getting good marks. It's not if they like the content. It's actually belonging. It is feeling a sense of belonging. It's remarkable. If you think about all that we usually assume
Starting point is 00:14:02 that goes into like helping a student not drop out or a student flourish, the number one variable that helps a student stay. So persistence, how do we persist in the face of challenges and setbacks, is a sense of belonging. And I think what makes your program different is a very real, caring community, where every single member across the ages and genders and identities and weight journey experiences is absolutely welcome here. It's absolutely welcome here. And it is one of, like that is one of the core reasons why I'm delighted to keep coming back It's because you are every day and your team like devoted committed team is creating a sense of community where everyone belongs
Starting point is 00:14:59 I said that very in fact, like I really sorry. I was really came on strong I said that very unfathomable. Like I really, sorry, I was really, came on strong there everyone. I would hear, oh, it's beautiful. My goodness, oh, I love that. I love that, all right. I'm not going for concision, my apologies. Are we over the half hour?
Starting point is 00:15:13 Apologies. That was really good. That was really good. Are you next Dr. Beverly? Is that you setting yourself up for payments? I could be, but it actually, Deena got my word in there. She got my word, caring. It's this cultivation of caringness
Starting point is 00:15:37 that is very different than other programs out there, that within the care, you are providing us care, but you're teaching us to look after ourselves. And that's very different probably to what people have done so many times already where they have deprived themselves or berated themselves. We're going to be looking at that inside critic, the bully in the brain that doesn't say caring things to ourselves, it tells us off. And when we are there in that caring space, we're able to see things differently, we're allowed to, to understand that when you say it's progress over perfection, it's real, no one's going to tell us off, we're going to be learning.
Starting point is 00:16:26 And when we feel safe to learn and safe to get it wrong and safe to get back on and try again, we're more likely, just like Dina said, to feel like we're part of something and that there is no failing. There's just learning. And I love that she brought the belongingness piece because we know that to be so true
Starting point is 00:16:48 when we feel part of something, it keeps us in there, it's the glue. And yeah, so I would have said that might be the standing out difference because when we're compassionate to ourselves, when we're caring, we also bring that calmness. And if we can bring the calmness, we're going to start seeing big changes in our psychology, big changes in our stress level, big changes in how we arrive at
Starting point is 00:17:15 food and what we think food is for, what we think our body is for. Um, so I read it, I think, yeah, thank you, Dina, for already introducing the word I would have probably picked. Oh, I love that too. Okay, Dr. Olenka, the one thing that makes the living happy different. God, I am thinking about the other 14 things that Dr. Dina was thinking about.
Starting point is 00:17:41 And I'm like, which one do I pick? Which one will Dr. Apall pick out of the list? For me, what I find the most amazing about your program, for sure it's a belonging to the community. I've always said this. I think it's such a beautiful thing to watch a team of, or a group of strangers root for each other. I've never seen that in the way that people show up
Starting point is 00:18:04 for each other and for themselves. And I think that as a physician, I look at your program and I I've never seen something that is one so accessible to people. Because you've tried to make it accessible in every single way, right, whether it's a podcast, whether it's that whether it's Facebook, whether it's the experts that are here, but it's the first program that I've ever seen that actually looks at the entire picture of weight loss. And I've said this to you before, I think this is a lifestyle program that you've just branded as weight loss because that's the one thing that would get people's attention. We are tricking you into changing your lifestyle. And the tools that you provide in order to do that, I think are incredible. And I really see it as a lifestyle program
Starting point is 00:18:50 with the added benefit of weight loss, right? Because there's something for everybody, and Dr. Paul always says this, there's something for everybody here, whether it's that you just are here to like lose your weight, that's great. Whether it's that you want to change your relationship with food, whether it's that you want to work
Starting point is 00:19:05 on the lifestyle, whether you want to work in it, all of it, right? Like you're doing so much, but every program, and I have patients who have done your program for like six, seven times, and what they always say to me is like, I know the program so well, but every single time that I do it, somehow I learn something different that I didn't know
Starting point is 00:19:24 about diet, about exercise, about psychology, about myself. And there's this like evolution that happens as we go along with your program. There's like a beautiful thing. I've used this analogy before, but I always think of ourselves as this onion, right? And you're constantly peeling the layers of, and trying to get to that core of who you are because the layers we built up over time, often from our experiences, our traumas, are the good learning and bad learning
Starting point is 00:19:52 that we've done along the way. And I think this is such a beautiful 91 day chance for you to peel however many layers you're ready to peel, maybe you're not ready to peel any at all, maybe you're ready to go down to your core. But it is, it's such a, I find at least holistic way to approach change in the physical, mental and emotional realm. Oh, I love that. I love that onion thing, because we're always talking about peeling away the layers, but we don't think about how we became an onion
Starting point is 00:20:31 in the first place, piling the layers on. Love that. OK, Dr. Paul Herkel, one thing that makes the living method different. Last, but hopefully not least, but I mean right off the bat, I mean I'm gonna cheat, I'm gonna just say a couple things because I've had the ability to hear what these other three incredibly brilliant women have said. Just the fact to be able to listen to what everyone has to say that and coming from an intention that I think is just so pure, that authenticity is just obvious that when people listen to people that you have on Gina, I think right away
Starting point is 00:21:13 people are like, this is kind of the real deal. No one's trying to sell me something. No one's trying to like cheat me or give me some sort of like quick fix, you know, in listening to everything that has been said already, and then also just pulling on all of our previous conversations, and most importantly, just working with the hundreds of people that I've seen go through the program, you know, the one word that I think differentiates this program from any other and why I really even started working with you in the first place, Gina, is connection. So many other programs that people have gone through disconnect you from actually your own impulses.
Starting point is 00:21:53 It's just like, do these things, take the shakes, restrict on this level. You don't really connect actually disconnects you from your, that as Malinka said, that mind body connection. Ultimately that. Ultimately, that's like the blueprint for wellness. There are so many, you can take that theme of connection and go at every different level that the program asks people to kind of journey on. It could be as simple as connecting, mood, and appetite. I would say actually, out of all the things that people tell me going through the program, you can find good nutritional advice from lots of different places.
Starting point is 00:22:31 That's not so much what makes the program unique, even though that's solid and sound. Biggest thing people will say is that they now are eating more, where a lot of times every other program they've been on before actually makes them starve, which we now know screws up your metabolism, actually stunts your metabolism, and now you lose the ability each successive time to lose weight. We'll talk more about that if that's a newer concept. And I know that's touched on multiple times. Connecting symptoms to underlying issues,
Starting point is 00:23:03 connecting your diet to your metabolism. We just think, let's just follow this blueprint. I got to do it because it's going to burn fat. It's going to lose weight. We have to actually stimulate our body's own ability to do that rather than just force feeding it a prescription lifestyle and weight loss. I love that. That was just said by Alinka where, you know know, this a lot of things that are being talked about here are going to make you and your
Starting point is 00:23:28 family healthy beyond just optimal body composition. Not just losing weight. Yeah, that's the symptom that we're all in here that got you in the door by helping Reeve with an incredible amount of non-scale victories and just you and your family really benefiting on the whole holistic level. Yeah, and it's a program, what I'm getting out of all the conversations, you wrapped it up so well, Dr. Paul, is that it's a program you can feel really good about doing. You can feel really good about doing it. It just makes sense because it makes sense. Okay, I want to take a quick minute out here to introduce to you our new podcast sponsor and we are so aligned. I'm excited about this one.
Starting point is 00:24:15 It's Joe Fresh known for great value. So you know you are getting great quality for the price point as well as stylish everyday essentials. So they want you to know about their new active wear collection that they just launched that includes three new support levels. So something for everybody, which is really neat. Their everyday line is their light support level, buttery soft pieces, perfect for low key activities.
Starting point is 00:24:38 Then their balance line is their more medium support level, perfect for things like yoga or Pilates. Soft fabric that moves with you. And then there's their momentum line. Okay, come on, don't tell me that's not an amazing name. That's for more of their medium to high level support for more intense workouts. That's gonna be fabric that like moves with you
Starting point is 00:24:58 through every rep. However you choose to move, Joe Fresh has you covered. And Joe Fresh has a promo code for you. I love this. So all you have to do is use the code livymethod25 when you check out online at joefresh.com or through the JoeFresh app. Right? Amazing. So keeping an eye on the time, what is one thing? Does anyone feel nervous when she starts the next question? I'm like ready. What is one thing that people need to know or do today that's going to help success in the end? I see Elinka, you're good enough. You took a good breath, so.
Starting point is 00:25:52 Elinka, oh god. I think, I always say this, but it's true. I think you always have to focus on your why and go at it with intention. And I think that if you don't intentionally create your future, your mind will recreate whatever it got used to seeing in your past. And you're here because you don't want to repeat that.
Starting point is 00:26:17 And so I would love for everybody to wake up every day with the intention of showing up for themselves. And you just have to, I think that intention just has to be rooted in you loving yourself enough to know that you deserve more. And being brave enough to demand more and I think just be disciplined enough to do the work, right? And the work doesn't have to be all the things all at the same time, but it just has to be intentional. And the intention, I think, should always be going back to why am I doing this?
Starting point is 00:26:54 And we always say this, it's so much more than just because I want to lose weight. And as you go through this program, if you think that it's just about losing weight today, I promise you, as you go through this program, in the 91 days, you're gonna be like, oh no, it was because I want to be independent when I grow older or whatever it is.
Starting point is 00:27:10 But just coming back to that, why you're doing this every day and intentionally making that choice and loving yourself and showing up with, again, like that courage and the bravery and the discipline that you need to do, or you need to show up with to do the work, because it's work, right? And if you don't do that, your brain is always going to fall back on whatever it is that
Starting point is 00:27:33 you were doing before. And that wasn't serving us. That wasn't serving us. I mean, I can go next to piggyback on that, just to give the two other ladies a little bit of a break. I see some curious writing there. That's cool. You know, I guess what I will, there's different pieces of advice for different people in terms of their experience with the program.
Starting point is 00:27:56 You know, like Alinka said, I've seen lots of people that have been on. I had a patient yesterday that did 12 Libby sessions. That's pretty wild, right? Uh, but what I would, I would tell everyone, especially those that are new to the program or the first, uh, couple of programs, and you probably experience it yourself. If you've done it before, you get what you put in, you get what you put in. So the people that show up and listen to Gina every day and look at some of the resources and then not just look at them, that's just like window shopping, but actually carve out time to implement them into their daily routines and sit with them. So far, everyone said, you know, there is a huge mindfulness aspect to this program.
Starting point is 00:28:47 And I couldn't agree more. The more you lean into that, the better results you're going to get. Usually earlier in the programs, like the first, second, third, in my experience, people get the most profound results in terms of the biggest weight numbers. That doesn't mean you can't get it later. It just means that that's what usually happens. And so if you're early in the program, first program, the more you can lean in, in my experience,
Starting point is 00:29:13 the more dramatic the results can be. So I'll leave it at that, because there are gonna be lots more of those types of conversations we're gonna be having, but that's what I would suggest is do full commit. And that starts with showing up and just listening and leave your prejudices, leave your past notions, preconceptions at the door,
Starting point is 00:29:38 and be ready to learn about yourself from everyone, but also learning from your body. Your body wants to tell you what it needs, except that we've overridden that signal decades ago probably. Yeah. And I love that. And full commit doesn't mean perfect.
Starting point is 00:29:57 No, it doesn't mean you gotta be, it doesn't mean that you need to be perfect every day either. I love that. In fact, actually Gina, full commit means there's probably lots of examples on the weekend. You go to a birthday party, you have a piece of cake, and so many people at that point, that's that huge turning point. Do I, oh, I screwed up.
Starting point is 00:30:16 Do I mail it in and just wait for the next session or say, no. That's the full commit part is, no, get back on the program. Instead of being, no, it's done, I'm gone. You know, and that happens a lot. But, and it's all part of it. Yeah, and let go of those preconceived notions and your ideas, but also it's, and do what you need to do, but also ask as many questions as you need,
Starting point is 00:30:38 as well along the way. Who's next, Dr. Beverly, Dr. Dina, Dr. Beverly? I don't know, do you wanna do our ritual, rock, paper, scissors? Rock, paper, scissors. Do you want to see Dr. Beverly do dynam. Dina? I don't know, do you want to do our ritual? Rock, paper, scissors? Do you want to see Dr. Beverly do dynamite? Dynamite! Remember, scissors can cut dynamite. Absolutely.
Starting point is 00:30:53 Dr. Beverly, I think you should just go. The British version, people, is rock, paper, scissors and some extra added dynamite. Okay, let's go, ladies, rock, paper, scissors. One, two, three. You blow me up, you blow me up. Dynamite blows up rock. So dynamite doesn't always win,
Starting point is 00:31:18 because dynamite, scissors can cut dynamite, but the only thing that's gonna be dynamite is scissors. We learn something new around here every day. Okay, who won that? I forget. Was it Dina? Dr. Beverly actually won. Okay. All right. Go. What? Uh-oh. My brain's gone like this now. Okay. To do one thing today that will help you to succeed in the end. I loved what Paul and Alinka said because I agree and I agree totally. And it's, there's this piece of being honest with ourselves, sitting with ourselves and
Starting point is 00:31:53 thinking about what, what gets in the way, you know, how do I prepare to succeed? Because we probably all know it, you know, we probably all know when we are doing it, when we are turning up, if we are setting aside a bit of the day to do it. Because if we don't plan, it's not going to happen. It's really hard just to squish something new into an already over full schedule. So if you can think, okay, where in the day
Starting point is 00:32:23 am I going to allow myself to have a look at the material? Or listen to Gina or catch up or just understand it a little bit because initially it might feel very overwhelming. There's so much beautiful, incredible content, but it can be done step by step. It's a systematic, supportive, skill-based, step by step program. So you don't have to know it all yesterday. One day at a time. And just like Paul said,
Starting point is 00:32:57 part of that is the committing to the whole thing to actually learn what does it feel like when the weather changes, when my mood changes, when I'm really sad, when I'm really elevated, because that is the program. The program is learning how to be with ourselves in the good, the bad and the in between bits. Because having the cake is part of the program. You're allowed. That's why it's different. You're allowed to have it. And we're going to hopefully allow you to realize don't feel guilty for that because there's nothing wrong with enjoying food and nourishing your body and enjoying movement
Starting point is 00:33:38 and changing those words around. I must do this. I should do this. I'd like to do this. I can do this, I should do this, I'd like to do this, I can do this. So be honest every day, set out time for yourself, allow yourself to think on the weekend, do I, am I going to do my shop, how can I bring in my family to help, what would I like to to see in the fridge, set yourself up for success and when you notice it's a bit of a wonky week,
Starting point is 00:34:06 learn from it. Think okay what instead of berate think be curious or wonder what happened. Did I not have eggs in the fridge? Did I not have something that was ready to go because that's easier if I open the the fridge and I see something that I can choose. And then adjust, you know, recalibrate, adjust, be flexible, be adaptive, adaptable, and stay on, stay on for the ride, because you'll learn so much. And that's really important, because it's practicing real life, because that's what we're doing. It's real life. Yeah, it is. Great tips. Love that. Dina, I see you're meditating on your response. I think it's unnecessary. Like I think we're, I think we're, you're done. We're done. Also, like Dr. Beverly, be curious, don't berate. God, it's so good.
Starting point is 00:34:57 It is good. So good. Dr. Link, I wrote like we're recalibrating what we think food is for, and Dr. Herckel, you get what you put it like. Anyways, I just like we're recalibrating what we think food is for and Dr. Herckel, you get what you put it like. Anyways, I just don't think it's necessary. But here's what I would say is go slow. Go slow. Okay.
Starting point is 00:35:13 If you'll allow me, I'll just a tiny explanation is learning strategist means I'm always interested in how people teach. I'm always interested in the underneath, like pedagogy of things. Is it just like an arm's length, you know, digital video? You have the highest touch program, is a high touch program. And that means for some people,
Starting point is 00:35:42 I mean, they're gonna like, but for others it's gonna be, I have no they're going to like, but for others, it's going to be, I have no idea where to start. It's disorienting. And the point is not that you are making an app and a journal and a book and a Facebook live and a Facebook community to check in. You're not doing that so that every person does all of that. You're doing it so that every person has a way in that works for them, that makes sense for
Starting point is 00:36:12 their life, that is resonant. And so go slow is find the one waypoint in that whether you are new or you are coming back for the 13th time that makes sense. Is it you're listening I mean this is what I used to do for a year I'm gonna listen to Gina via podcast on my morning commute in. That is the thing that makes sense. This time I am I bought your journal I think it's beautiful I'm like I'm so curious to see what that would feel like. And so go slowly, go slowly. And it might because of how fast our lives are, how fast and busy and intense and amplified everything always feels. We're tempted to recreate that here. Like it's urgent, it's dire, we have to do
Starting point is 00:37:06 it all right away. But we don't actually, and in fact that is part of what we're here to, as Elinka like so beautifully articulates, like that might be one of the onion layers, is like why so urgent? And then you know to Dr. Beverly's point, like, what would happen if we were much more compassionate? I can't do everything. I am going to find time and set aside. I'm going to do one of these modalities. And to Dr. Paul's point, like, I'm going to really lean into what connects with what.
Starting point is 00:37:40 So go slowly would be my tip. I love that. I also love this comment by Denise. When Dr. Dina talks, I want to put my head on her lap and just listen to her soothing voice. Is that weird? No, we get you. We, this is actually, it's actually strangely enough, it is not weird.
Starting point is 00:38:01 Everyone's actually asleep now. Like I, I had somebody write me, they're so beautiful. I bought your audio book. Is it wrong that I use it? About myself, does Leigh Bum like? Absolutely not. It is about how to study and focus, but totally. Use it as a doorstop, as a sleep aid.
Starting point is 00:38:24 If you missed it, her book is available in audio form. I want, that was beautiful, thank you. I want Dr. Beverly to make an acronym out of pedagogy. Pedagogy. I know. What does that mean? It's the art of teaching. Yeah, the art of teaching. Beautiful, I love that word. Yeah. How do you say it? Pedagogy. P-A-G-O-G-Y. Pedagogy. All right.
Starting point is 00:38:48 Well, you learn something new every day. I love that. And I love all of you. Okay, we have less than one minute. We'll go round table real quick. What is the one conversation you're looking forward to having? Because we're going to have a lot of conversations with our experts. They're all going to be back in their own right, sharing tons of information. But what are you most excited to talk about?
Starting point is 00:39:08 Hormones. Okay. Who's next? Sleep is my favorite. And I talk so fast through that session. I think I'm an accelerated bunny at that point where I'm like, right, I'm going to try to gift everybody everything I know so that they understand. Just like Paul and Alinka were saying, we all think that the thing is the most important. I think it's sleep. You think it's hormones. You think it's the gut. You think it's the learning. But sleep, it's the pillar of health. And it's so exciting. So lovely. It's a lovely one to talk about. Yeah. In which we have like Alana McGinn, who's a sleep expert. She can talk about sleep and
Starting point is 00:39:57 stress and like actually sleep hygiene. And then Dr. Beverly talks more the psychology behind sleep. What's happening when you're not getting good sleep? How does that affect your choices? And then Dr. Olenka hits us up with what's happening with our hormones when you are getting your sleep or not getting a sleep. So I love how it all works together. Okay, Dr. Gina, what are you looking forward to?
Starting point is 00:40:18 What's one conversation? Overwhelmed prevention, habits, prioritizing yourself, foregrounding yourself in your own life instead of putting yourself in the back end. How to pay attention, how to time manage this into your life. Okay. Thanks Brennan and Jodi. Thanks.
Starting point is 00:40:38 Our production team knows you too well. I love that. I love the excitement. Dr. Paul. You know, my jam is talking about, you know, supplements and botanicals and how that complements. But honestly, probably the most rewarding conversation is really making those kind of connections between physiology and symptoms and obstacles to weight loss. So I'm really sharing some of those clinical pearls that I've learned over the years from
Starting point is 00:41:10 you, the people that have gone through the program, and just passing that on to people that are just journeying right now. So that's my favorite part. I love that. I feel like every group has its theme and it's sort of words that describe it. And I think connection and beyond just connecting people, but connecting the dots, connecting how your body works together might just be our word. Thank you so much. We do have to go. I'm already so excited about the conversations.
Starting point is 00:41:37 I know we're going to have, I said it in the beginning, y'all, you think that the conversation, we'll give it a name, this is what we're talking about. And it ends up being a conversation that you didn't know you needed to have. There is no one having the conversations out there that we have in here because we really, truly, our intention is to truly help you make real change in your life, especially when it revolves around weight loss. But as it's been mentioned many times today, it's so much more than that. Thank you so much for joining us today. Everyone who's watching, everyone who's downloading
Starting point is 00:42:10 the podcast and listening. And of course, thank you to my incredible, amazing guests. We're going to attach information to this about where you can find them a little bit more about them, but they are going to be back. Thanks everyone. Thank you. Thanks, Tina, for having us. So good to see everyone. Have a nice night. Bye. Bye. Bye. Can't wait for more.
