I'm Gina Livy and welcome to the Livy Method podcast.
This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams from my 91 day weight loss program.
With a combination of daily lives, guest expert interviews and member stories,
there is something new almost every day.
Miss the morning live? Want to re-listen to one of our amazing guest experts?
Well, this is the place.
This podcast is hosted on Acast, but it's available
on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple,
and Amazon Music. Hello, hello, and welcome to day one of the program, the Fall 2024 program.
I hope you are off to an amazing start. I hope you are feeling fantastic. Okay, listen,
there can be a lot of information that we post in the first few weeks of the program. That's
because there's a lot to know. We want this to be the last diet that you ever do. So welcome to the
live. Here's what you need to know about the live. So first of all, the best way to find the live
is as soon as you pop into the Facebook support group,
just go to the photo or media section and you'll see it playing there. If you scroll kind of the
main feed, it can take you a while to find it. So just go straight to that photo media section,
or of course, you can open up our amazing living method app and just connect right to it. The other
thing that you need to know about the lives is sort of what happens on the live stays on the lives, meaning that this is the one post where the team doesn't
circle back around and answer any questions in written form on the actual live itself.
So if I don't get to your question today, which I probably might not, although I'll do my best
because there will be lots, Make sure you copy and paste your
question and put it on the pinned or featured post at the top of the Facebook support group
each day. So right at the very top of the page or in the featured section, you'll find the check-in
video, which is me every day telling you what we're talking about, what you want to focus on
and whatnot. And right beside that is the question of the day post. So just post your question there and you are guaranteed to get
an answer. So if you keep asking us questions during the live and wondering why you're not
getting a response is because this is the one post where we don't provide any written responses.
Now this live also isn't mandatory. You don't have to be watching hours and hours or listening to
hours of me talk. This is just an opportunity to talk more in depth about the program and the process.
So everything that you need to know is posted in the app every day.
It can also be found in our Facebook support group.
And of course, it's also in the book.
So if you haven't picked up a copy of the book yet, you still can.
It's available on Amazon near you.
You do not need it.
But this is a written version of all of the information
that we post in the app and in the Facebook support group. So if you're finding it's all a
bit much for you today to be scrolling through and finding the information, an easy way to follow
along is by using the book as well. And then also in it, there are QR codes that you can scan and go
right to the videos. The easiest way of course to follow along
is our amazing Libby Method app. It links to the Facebook support group. So if you still want to be
part of the community and have real people answer your questions, you can easily do that. You will
notice the program is also organized by day. Today is day one of the program. This is so if ever you
can't follow along or you are off on vacation or not feeling
so hot and can't follow along, you can follow along at your own pace.
Now, before I get into your questions today, I do want to remind you that we want you to
be successful.
So please reach out at any time.
We have an amazing team of program specialists who work in the support group who will answer
any and every question
that you have. There's no limit on the number of questions that you can ask. We are happy to
answer as many questions as you need in order for you to be as successful as possible. So make sure
you reach out. So the most important thing you want to do today is read over the guidelines.
So with all of the information, and there's a lot of
information, the most important thing to focus on is the guidelines each week. So we're starting
with the prep week guidelines, and then there'll be a week one, week two, week three, and so on
guidelines. The guidelines are kind of the instructions for the week. And then you want
to focus on the food plan guide today. So we've outlined the food plan in a one pager. And then you want to focus on the food plan guide today. So we've outlined the food plan in a
one pager. And then we've supplemented that with a post that goes in depth about breakfast, about
snack, about lunches, about dinners, about coffee and about water. And then we put together a lunch
and dinner visual. And then we're talking about the different protein, carbs and fats. So it might
take you a while to kind of
go through all that. But the two main posts you want to seek out today are the prep week guidelines
along with the food plan posts. The rest just kind of goes down the rabbit hole of information.
There can be a little bit of a learning curve. If you're new to the program, you probably have a lot
of questions. The main thing is, do we have
to eat all the meals and snacks? Yes, you do. So we don't count and weigh and measure, but we have
our own systematic process to getting in tune to our portions. And you want to make sure you're
eating all the meals and snacks. And if you're not hungry, still having those token bites, so just
three or four bites. There's a bit of a rhyme and a reason. There's a lot of rhyme and a reason behind every ask on the program.
But you want to consistently follow that food plan.
The sooner you start following the food plan consistently, the sooner you're going to start
to see and feel results.
The sooner you're going to start to understand the rhyme and the reason.
But you want to really spread out the amount of food that you're eating throughout the
day.
Really helps to decrease insulin, regulate your blood sugar, also helps to keep your digestive system stimulated, also has to
address your body's needs. If your body's feeling the need to store fat, which most people's are,
if you're coming into the program looking to lose weight, it'll help address that. I know it may seem
really counterintuitive to be eating more food, but for some people and most people, it's really
just about giving the
body what it needs. So it no longer feels the need to store fat in the first few weeks.
I saw someone saying they feel overwhelmed already. Great. Great. This diet is different
than any other diet that you will ever do. For the amount of money that you pay, the value is
absolutely insane. There's a lot of information because there is a
lot to losing your weight finally and forever. We want this to be the last diet that you ever do,
which is why there's a lot of information. There's also a lot of people in the program right now
following along. I think we're at like 16,000. There's 20 plus thousand people following along
with this program. There's people that come in all different shapes and sizes, have various needs, have various special needs.
For example, you may have thyroid issues. You may have diabetes. You may be dealing with some
hormonal issues. You may have some food sensitivities. You may have specific cultural
needs. So the program is designed to help every single person that signs
up and follows it, but we are going to teach you how to make it specific to your needs.
Now, you may also be thinking, how can we handle this many people? You're going to get lost in a
sea of people you will not. We are very, very good at what we do. Give it a few days and you
will realize there's literally a rhyme and a reason to how we do things. what we do. Give it a few days and you will realize there's literally a rhyme and a
reason to how we do things. And we do things really well around here. If there's one thing
we are really good at, it is helping people lose their weight. So just try to give yourself some
grace. Try to also give yourself some time. So we've built in time for you to review the information,
to ask all the questions that you need to run out
and grab anything that you need and start making the changes that we are suggesting. Unlike every
other diet where you have to start perfectly, the living method is not about how perfectly you start,
it's about actually being here at the end. We have a lot of time to lose a lot of weight. This week
is really about you absorbing the information and starting to make the changes that you need to make. Now, some of you may hit the ground running and you're ready
to go get today. Maybe you already got the book on Amazon. You read the whole thing. I don't know.
Other people will take a more kind of ease into it approach and that is totally fine as well. So
we're not expecting you to start perfectly today, but you absolutely can start tracking in your
Levy Method app. So your app or your tracker
is not meant to just track the things you're doing perfectly. It's meant to track how your day is.
One day you may feel like a rock star and you're doing all the things. And then the next day,
you feel like your day is falling apart, getting ahead of you and you're eating chips for breakfast.
And it's all part of the program and the process. So what you're going to be able to see though, is that the progression of, okay, day one, didn't really know what I was
doing, did this, did a little bit of that. Maybe I didn't get in certain meals and snacks. Maybe
it didn't look perfectly, but that's okay. And then towards the end of the week, you are kind
of pulling in streaming things along. Someone I just saw asking about QR codes
in the group. What are QR codes? So if you're following along with the book, if we can't scan
the QR codes, where are the videos? Oh, hi, Janice. So the videos are in the app. So the easiest way
hands down is to follow along with our amazing Libby method app. Now you may have an aversion to technology. I hear you. I do too.
But our Libby Method app is so easy to use. You open it up and it has today's posts. You literally
can click on today's post and has the link. First of all, it has the check-in video. It has the link
to the Facebook Live. Hello. It has all of the posts. So it has prep week guidelines. It talks about the overview of
the program, the Libby method, the food plan is in here. So each day we are going to post the
information that you need to review. And it's just in your app. Now, if you want to click on,
let's say, let's talk breakfast post, it's all there for you. A little video if you want to
watch that. And if you go down to the bottom, you can actually link directly from the app into the Facebook support group. So if you have any questions you
want to ask the team, you can ask them there. Or you can simply go to the bottom of your app
and click on the ask and it takes you to the Livi AI feature. So you can say, can I can I add fruit
to my breakfast, which of course you can, although you want to make
protein the focus. And it'll say yes for breakfast during the food plan, you can add any fruits or
vegetables along with. So there's also a search feature in the app too. Along with, of course,
following along the program. In the app, you can also record anything that you want to
record and track. Let's say, for example, your fluids, you can mark off whether you had coffee
this morning or your water or whatever it is for fluids. You can also track your weight, your sleep,
your moods, your movements, and of course, everything that you're eating throughout
the day. So for breakfast, you want to make sure you're getting in protein, you can click off
protein, make any other notes. If you want to, for example, go to lunch, it'll say vegetables,
proteins, leafy greens, healthy fats. And if you add any extra have starchy veg or grains,
you can add them in here. So it's really easy to follow along with their living method app.
But then there's also the Facebook support group where you may be watching
this live live right now. So pinned to the very top of the page or in the featured section,
you will find a check-in video each day, along with the post telling you what we're posting or
what we're focused on each day. And then everything else is organized by guides. So you don't want to
find the information by scrolling the page.
That's just going to be chaotic.
You want to immediately go to the guide section.
So today we've outlined the food plan guide.
So everything in terms of what to eat and when is in the food plan guide, just so it's
all there to make it easy for you to find.
And then there's a daily guide.
So in the daily guide, you'll find other posts, things that we're talking about each day. You'll find the check-in video, the lives, any guest segments. They will all be stored in the daily guides. So each day will have its own guide. They'll also have like a recipe guide, eventually an exercise guide, and a variety of other guides to make it really easy for you to find the information.
What else? You'll see a lot of members who are back, like Shirley, back for round six of the program. So you may be wondering if you're new to the program, why do people come back if it works
so great? So we structure the program in 91-day increments, but it's no different than any other
diet that you do. You start the diet and then you keep going until you are done and you've reached your goal. It's that we structure
it in 91-day increments. So you may have one person who only needs one program to reach their
goal weight, and you may have someone who needs 10 programs to reach their goal weight. There are
people here who have five pounds to lose, and there are people here who have over 150 pounds to lose. I also love the
structure of 91 days, 12 weeks is enough time to make a significant difference. There's a start,
there's a middle, there's an end, just like there is going to be a start and a middle and an end to
your weight loss journey. The program works just as well every time you do the program. And although
it is normal to have people come back
and do as many programs as they need to be successful and reach their goals, it's going
to be my job to teach you everything that you need to know in order to reach your weight loss goals.
So at the end of the program, you can decide whether you're going to go in on your own or
you're going to redo the program and join us for another program. Also, three main reasons, and I talked
about this in the check-in video today, what makes the Livi Method different from any other diet is
one, there is no counting, weighing, and measuring. So you may be thinking, how the heck are we going
to lose weight around here? Again, we have our own system for that that is super effective.
We're going to get into that. Each week has a different focus and a tweak. Stick around and
you will find out because you don't need math in order to lose weight. And more importantly,
you don't need math in order to maintain and sustain your weight. The second reason is that
it is a guided program. So there is a daily check-in each day. What you eat and when is going
to change and evolve as you go. And there's going to be a lot of daily guidance along with that. So
I'm telling you what you want to review and focus on each day and each week, along
with the check-in videos.
Of course, we have the lives.
We also have our amazing guest experts who will be sharing their knowledge along the
way to help guide you as well.
And the third reason, the most important reason, is that we are focused on maintenance.
We want you to lose your weight, yes.
In a healthy way, yes.
In a way that's healthy for your body
physically and your brain mentally? Yes. But most importantly, in a way that you're going to be able
to maintain and sustain your weight. So there's a lot to it. The way you lose your weight physically
is going to make a difference. But also we're all about working through issues and associations
tied into food. We're into how you've learned to utilize food. We're into
addressing how you use food to cope. We are into addressing your habits that no longer serve you
and the new habits you're going to have to work on and create to help support the changes that
you want to make in the life that you truly want to live. We're also about going deep
into any beliefs that may be holding you back, beliefs of feeling worthy, believing that you
can or cannot do this, believing that even if you lose your weight, you're going to be able to
maintain and sustain that weight. We also, for some, will be getting into some past traumas.
So along with learning strategists and doctors,
we also have psychologists that we're going to be speaking to as well. I hear some of you talking
about menopause and hormones. So we will be introducing a menopause companion program
that will go alongside with this weight loss program. If you're interested, we will be talking about hormones in
the program in this program. We will also be addressing menopause as well perimenopause,
menopause, postmenopause as well within the program, but we will be offering we will also
be offering up a new program set to start in the next few weeks. So there'll be more information
coming on out. We just want to get everyone kind of settled into the weight loss program. So if you are looking to go down the
rabbit hole of hormones, especially when it comes to menopause, we're going to be chatting about
that. So we're going to have a special offering. So I'll let you know more about that. Traveling,
two trips over the 90 days, but I'm going to do my best. Hi, Robin. So we are expecting you to have to take time off for a variety of reasons.
Maybe you unfortunately will get sick and need to take some time off following the program.
We have a whole sickness protocol that you can follow.
Maybe some of you will need to take time off because of other things that, you know, you
will need to prioritize in your life,
or maybe you are on vacation or traveling or whatnot. We do have a protocol for all of that.
We'll be talking about sickness. We'll be talking about travel. The living method is designed and
expects that at some point you will not be able to follow the program. There's a couple analogies
that I really like to use when it comes to the program. One is building the house.
So for example, when you sign up for the living method, I give you a plot of land for you to
build your house, your house, your house you're going to live in. And each week I give you the
tools that you need in order to build your house. And it's up to you to show up on a daily basis to
put in the work to build your house. So each day you are going to
work on building your house. And perhaps let's say for the weekend, you are going away and you
are unable to work on your house where you don't knock your house down on Monday and start again,
you just pick up your tools and continue on. So we really like to move forward in this program
and process. We don't go back,
we don't repeat steps. It's not about being perfect. It's about being as proactive as
possible. So as much as possible, have as many of your goals as possible fall into reaching your
goals at the end of the day. So there are going to be some days and weeks you're more productive
showing up and working on your house. And then there's going to be times that you need to take
time off from working your house. And it's just a matter of
getting back at it and continuing moving forward. I also really love the analogy of you're on the
road to Disneyland or a destination. And we are all getting in our cars and getting on the road
today. Some of us are driving fancy new sports cars. Some of us are driving kind of broken up, beaten up jalopies,
you know, sort of depending on the state of our body when we start the program, but we're all on
the same road. Some of us are going to hit detours and roadblocks and traffic jams. Some of us are
going to get flat tires along the way. Some of us are going to stop and go sightseeing along the way.
But what we don't do if we hit a roadblock or a detour or get a flat tire or choose to
stop and do some sightseeing is go back and start again.
So it's just a matter of staying on that road, getting back on that road and continuing to
drive forward.
So it's really all about the journey.
So I like
to use a few analogies here and there. New year, new me. Season is here and honestly,
we're already over it. Enter Felix, the healthcare company helping Canadians take a different
approach to weight loss this year. Weight loss is more than just diet and exercise. It can be about

There's a couple of things that I would suggest before starting the program today. One is to take
a minute and reflect on your weight story or your
weight journey. Speaking of journey, when did your history with dieting start? Where did your weight
story start? So did it start in childhood, when you were a teen, young adult, a couple years ago?
What is your weight story? It's a great idea to go back and reflect. It's good to know where you've been, where you're coming from, to know where you are
at now and what you need to do and work on and focus on moving forward.
So I suggest you take a few minutes, just in your mind or pen to paper and sort of write
down your story.
What diets have you done?
What's your experience?
What was going on in your life?
It's also a great idea to take stock of where you're at now and what's happening in your life. It's great that you've set aside these 91 days. Some people will have
smooth sailing and some people will have rough seas when it comes to their journey. It's good
to know where you're at, the kind of mindset you are moving into the program with, physically how
you're feeling. Just take stock of where you're at. The other thing that I suggest besides kind of like mapping out your weight journey and story is to understand why you are here. We're going to
talk a lot about motivation over the next 12 weeks. We are going to do our best to make sure
you are as motivated as possible. We're going to be talking to real members. We are going to be
highlighting success stories. We are going to give you all the tips and support that you need along
the way. But your job is to really understand why you are here. Your why is going to be your motivator.
You are not going to be motivated every day to do the things that you need to do. Just like you're
not motivated to go to work every day, but you really like that paycheck. Your kids aren't
motivated to go to school every day, but they have to go to school. So what is your why? Why
are you here? Why are you going to put yourself through the 91 what is your why? Why are you here? Why are you going to put yourself
through the 91 days of the program? Why are you going to show up and do the things that you need
to do each day? So taking some time and really assessing why and what that is and really making
it tangible. Not just do I want to be healthy? What does healthy mean? Not just Oh, I want to
fit in my bikini. How do you want to feel in your bikini?
So really try to define your why.
Those two things I find are really helpful and really set you up for success.
Also, this Thursday, we're going to be joined by some of our amazing guest experts.
We're going to talk to them about what it takes to be successful on the program.
But before the program started, we had a great conversation with one of our amazing
guest experts, Dr. Dina Karaschafer. She's a world-renowned learning strategist,
and she talked about getting into the right frame of mind and mindset and shared some really amazing
tips for you to be successful. I dare not say it was a conversation about setting up for success because it was so much more than that.
But if you haven't seen it yet, it is linked in the, I think, the program guide or the welcome guide.
I would definitely take time to check that out.
I am completely lost on how this program works.
Can someone help me, please?
Hi, Diane.
Welcome.
Okay.
So the first thing that you need to do is recognize how
you're going to follow along. So we have our amazing Livi Method app. We also have our Facebook
support group. We also have our book. So right now you are listening to the live pin to the very top
of the page or in the featured section, you will find the check-in video and all the posts that
you're going to want to review. So the first thing you're going to want to do is if you are in the Facebook support group,
go to the featured section and listen to the video at the top and read the post beside it
that tells you all the posts you're going to want to find and review.
All the information in the Facebook support group is stored in the guide section.
So you want to go to the guides.
And the first thing you're going to want to search out is the guidelines, the prep week
guidelines, which are the instructions for this week, and the food plan.
Those are the two things you're going to want to review.
So there's a lot of information, but really how the program works is by the guidelines
each week.
Also, there is a book, the Facebook support group, the book that supports the program.
This is a written version
of all the information. So if you have a hard time kind of learning online, it might be a great idea
for you to pick this book up on Amazon. It's all the same information posted in the group. It's
just in written form. It's a big book, but there's a lot of fonts on there. What else? What else?
What else? Try not to overcomplicate it. Again, it's just those
guidelines you want to review today and really have a good understanding of the food plan.
Take your time to review all the information that you need. Also, when we are done with the live
live each day, we also turn it into a podcast. So you can download or listen to any of the live segments by way of
our podcast as well. So if you can't make the 9am live, that's okay, we are going to store it in the
guides for you to review later. And then you can also download and listen by way of a podcast as
well. What else? Some of you are saying that the video is a bit choppy. So we have people joining
us from all over the world. So sometimes that's just your internet connection. Sometimes it can
be an issue on our end. You'll find with Facebook and the online format, um, things can get a little
glitchy. Sometimes we suggest that you just bear with us. We like to take it as a learning opportunity to teach us to be patient.
There's always something glitchy, just like in life happening and getting in the way.
So if you do find that you're watching the video and it's glitchy, usually if you watch it after
the fact, it comes in clear. Or like I said, you can always download and listen along the way.
Speaking of the live, so I'm going to be going live Monday through Friday at 9 a.m.
I will also be going live at 7 p.m. this week on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and then
on Mondays moving forward at 7 p.m.
So you will find me in the evenings, and then I'll be popping in here and there.
As we get going on, we'll have other segments
at other times throughout the day as well.
Okay, so if you have any questions at all,
remember to head over to the pinned post
or the featured post at the top of the page
in the Facebook support group.
Ask as many questions as you need.
Here's someone, I remember my first day
and feeling frustrated on my first day.
Just roll with it and be patient. Something
to be learned by that. So I think with a lot of diets, there's this need to start perfectly.
And I don't really buy into that. It's not how great you start. It's not how perfectly you roll
through the program in the first few days and weeks. It's really about working through all
the things that you need to work through and being really consistent and being here at the end of the program.
Honestly, you'll be amazed how all the little things that you do add up and make a big difference.
If you've signed up for the program, you probably know someone who's been successful.
There's no shortage of success stories over on our public Facebook page and Instagram
pages, social media pages.
No shortage of inspiration over on our website,
there'll be no shortage of inspiration here in the group. The program works, we know that we have a
team at the University of Ottawa who've been studying the Libby method for the last couple
years, they actually received government funding in order to do so. We send out surveys at the end
of our program, the program works, it will work for you, but you will get out of the
program what you put into it. So it's just a matter of showing up, making sure you're as proactive as
possible, asking all the questions that you need. You really have an amazing team of people here to
help support you. I want you to truly be successful. But that doesn't mean that you are not going to
have some major feels along the way? I think if you don't feel
frustrated and don't feel like quitting at least once, are you even doing the program? We have
found that reaching your finally and forever, and what we mean by that is lose your weight and never
look back and literally move on with your life. It comes with a lot of feels and it can be a very
personal and profound experience and journey. And you're going to have a lot of feels and it can be a very personal and profound experience and
journey.
And you're going to have a lot of feels.
Many of you will have to dig deep.
Some of you will be like, easy peasy done.
We get a lot of feedback at the end of the program.
That was so easy.
That was so great.
Thank you very much.
But for other people, they're going to really have to dig deep.
There's going to be a lot of feels that come along with the program and process, but we're
going to be here to support you. So if you are feeling overwhelmed, let us know.
We'll guide you to the post. We'll help you figure it out. If you feel like quitting and
you're just frustrating, let us know. We will be here for you. You can quit if you want. That's
fine. But then what? Then what are you going to do? You will find the Libby Method is different
than any other diet. And I think that's a good thing because we all know the result of all those other diets. You've lost and
gained and lost and gained and lost in games because that is how those diets were designed.
If you've been trying to lose weight for over 20 years, you haven't failed straight up. The diet
industry has failed you. The diet industry is not designed for sustainable weight loss. It's
designed to lose your weight and they hope that you keep coming back time and time again. Our hope for you is that you lose your weight in a way that
you truly are able to move on, where you can be calm around food, not just physically, but mentally,
where you can spend the rest of your life, your time, your energy and money on other things beside
weight loss. That truly is our goal for you. We are making it our mission to help
every single person who signed up for our program to be here at the end and be a success story and
feel confident in their next steps. Now, with that said, there is still time to sign up for the
program. We usually give people another week. Once people get into the program, they see how amazing
it is. You start telling your friends, your family. We do cap our numbers for a reason because we want to make sure that we can give the best customer service as possible.
So we only have a certain number of people on our team to make sure that your questions get
asked and answered in a timely fashion. You'll notice the team will answer your questions
anywhere from a few minutes to usually no longer than an hour, but we do not miss questions. We
have great systems in play to make sure every question you ask gets answered, except for, again, here on the live. So you missed
it off the top. This is the one part, the one place where we don't provide written responses.
So if you've asked a question today on the live, make sure you just copy and paste it over on the
pinned post or any of the other posts, and the team will make sure to answer it there.
I know that there was a lot of questions that I didn't get to in today's live, but I hope that
you found the information today helpful. I do want to address and talk to our returning members.
Hello, welcome back. I'm excited to have you back. Now, listen, just because you've done the program
before doesn't mean that you don't need to ask as many or more questions that you did before. Dig your heels in, hit the ground running, make sure you reach out. I see a
lot of amazing familiar faces. Remember that we are also here for you as well. So it's a great time
before you start your next program to reflect on your past program. What did you do really well last time? What do you need to
do this time? Where are you at now? Remember, you want to approach this new program with fresh eyes.
You are bringing a whole new body physically and a whole new person mentally to the table this time
around. What you worked on last time, you've worked on last time. What do you need to work on this
time? What can you do differently? Did you use the app last time, right? If you didn't try the app this time, did you journal last time? If you
didn't try journaling this time, were you setting your intentions each day, working on those end of
day reflections, figure out what you need to level up this time and be even more successful, right?
Remember that we are here for you. Let's see if we have a
few other questions. Can't do the app. Can we just use the Facebook? Yeah, absolutely. So you can just
use Facebook. The best way to navigate the Facebook support group is by using the guides. Do not go on
the main page and start scrolling. You will get so frustrated. So what you're going to want
to do when you pop into the Facebook support group, find the featured post that is the daily
check-in and a list of what we're going to be talking about each day. And then you're going
to want to go to the guides and review the posts that you need to post each day. So that's what we
do. Every day there's a check-in. I let you know what posts you want to review. Then you want to
ask questions, start making the changes.
It's as simple as that.
Participate or listen to the lives if you want.
So that's the easiest way to follow along.
Again, the easiest way to find the lives is immediately go into the photo or media section.
Once you see one live, you can create settings that'll let you know when the live is live
each day.
But sometimes there's a time lag on that.
So the quickest way is just to go to the photo and media section.
So you can just use the Facebook support group.
The best way to follow along, of course, is the app because it guides you through and
everything is right there for you on a day-to-day basis.
We also have our book.
Like I said, there's a book.
So if you prefer the written version, it's all the same information in the book.
So you can highlight, make notes and whatnot.
There's QR codes.
You can scan, watch the videos.
You can also download and listen to our Libby Method podcast as well.
Now, there's a lot of resources for you.
We're also working on a journal.
I was hoping to have it out at the beginning of the program, but we'll have a journal available
in the next couple of days for those of you who are interested.
Now, all of those resources are not meant to overwhelm you.
They are because we understand that people learn differently. So someone may prefer the book
and the podcast, someone else, the Facebook support group, someone else, the app. So
it's for you to figure out what is the best way for you to follow along. Maybe if you can't watch
the lives lives,
you'll download and listen to them as a podcast later. The group will open up every day at 5am
moving forward. My team starts at 7am. So you'll be able to review the information at 5am.
My team starts their shift at 7am. But you can pop into the group every day at 7 a.m., but you can pop into the group every day at 7 p.m. if that works best for you. This is all
about you and your individual journey. So really focus on what you need to follow through and be
successful. There are a lot of questions about the food plan. So the food plan is very specific.
The one thing you will come to realize about me, there is a rhyme and a reason to everything. I have learned a lot about helping thousands of people be successful.
There is a rhyme and a reason to every ask. It is so multi-layered. You will love the method.
If you are open-minded to it, it is a really cool program and process. Now, you may have a lot of
questions. Do I have to eat all my meals and snacks? Yes, you do. Can you switch things around? No, you do not want to switch things around.
I really set the bar really high. There is a lot of wiggle room. Some people are going to want to
be super hardcore, and some people just want to take a more relaxed approach. That is totally okay.
But I've designed the program. There's a rhyme and a reason to all of it. We are absolutely here. We are not expecting blind faith. We are here to answer as many questions as you need to make sure
you're clear on what you need to do. But you do want to make sure that you are following the food
plan. You are hitting all your meals and snacks, having those token amounts. So there is one food
plan. And then we have done an individual breakdown of breakfast, of your
morning snack, of lunch, of your first afternoon snack, your second afternoon snack, and your
dinner. So if you want to go down sort of the rabbit hole of each individual meal and snack,
I highly suggest you really understand the food plan because it's going to be the base of the
program for the next few weeks. Now, moving forward in the program, we're actually going to be
making changes to that food plan. So don't get stuck on what you are asked to eat and when right
now in the first few weeks, because that is going to change. That's not how you're going to eat
throughout the whole program. We know some of you are like, well, I'm concerned about eating this
much food. You're not used to it. We know it's going to be a bit of a change, but trust me, it's going to be a change worth making for sure. I think that's
it for me today. I don't want to overwhelm you with too much. Again, I'm going to ask you with
a few things. Take time to just reflect on your weight story and your weight journey, all the
things you've done, where you're at now, and really take some time to ask yourself why you are here. That is absolutely going to be your motivator.
You're also going to want to find the guidelines, the prep week guidelines for this week,
kind of your instructions for this week, and the food plan. Really start to understand what you
need to do in terms of what you need to eat and when. The rest is really just extra. So try not to overcomplicate it.
Keep it super simple.
And most, most, and most importantly, please reach out.
Ask as many, there is no limit on the questions that you can ask.
You can ask your questions on the post pinned or featured in the top of the Facebook support
group.
You can also ask any questions on any of the posts as well.
It's really just this one, just the lives
where we don't come back around
and answer any written responses.
I don't wanna go, but I'll be back tonight at 7 p.m.
if you wanna join me then.
Otherwise, I hope you have an amazing day, everyone.
Remember, after the fact,
you'll be able to download and listen to a podcast.
If you so wish, there is still time to sign up.
So you have anyone who is interested in signing up, tell them to run, don't walk to
the website. I don't know how many days they'll be able to still sign up for. Otherwise, have an
amazing day, everyone. And I'll see you later. Bye. Have a day one.
