I'm Gina Livy and welcome to the Livy Method podcast.
This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams from my 91 day weight loss program.
With a combination of daily lives, guest expert interviews and member stories,
there is something new almost every day.
Miss the morning live? Want to re-listen to one of our amazing guest experts?
Well, this is the place.
This podcast is hosted on Acast, but it's available
on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple,
and Amazon Music. Hello and happy day 33 of the program, everyone. Okay, so I'm in,
I'm not at my usual office spot. I'm in the city today. So I'm downtown Toronto, Hotel X, beautiful hotel.
If you've been here, right by the water.
I don't know if, can you see?
Can you see?
Yeah, right by the water.
Okay, so first of all, how was the Aurora Borealis last night?
I follow a lot of you on Instagram.
What an amazing treat that was.
I've always wanted to see it. So excited to see that
last night. Of course, we had our Dragon's Den premiere. Thank you to everyone who sent well
wishes. Thanks to everyone who watched. It was super fun. I got to celebrate. We had our friends
and our family. The whole Lakefield crew is here, so they're still at the hotel. So
I'm not going to stay on for very long today because I'm going to go see them on their way.
But it was so nice to celebrate with all our friends and family. So thanks to everyone who
watched. I know a lot of questions, so I'm going to go through some of those now that you had about
Dragon's Den last night, and then I'm going to talk about Thanksgiving and answer some of the
questions that you might have about the program this week. So first of all, I just, like I said
on the check-in this morning, it is a TV show at the end of the day. The most important thing for
me is to get the Living Method message out there and to also do right by our amazing community. So
I just want to thank everyone for all of their support over the last few years. Obviously,
the Living Method is a hugely successful weight loss program. Our mission is to truly help people
lose their weight finally and forever. We also want to run a really successful business so we
can continue to do that for as long as possible. So we went in, we had an opportunity to do the
Dragon's Den. It was very last minute. Massive thanks to my team. They pulled it together within weeks. So we had two
weeks notice, whereas other people had like months and months and months. So just kudos to my team
who pulled everything together. We had a great, we had our members join us. That was obviously
super special to spend time with them the day of shooting. And then they joined us last night,
so they were all there as well.
You know, so just so grateful for them taking the time to share that with us. So the pitch itself
is only a few minutes. So we were in the den for over an hour. So the whole thing itself took a
whole hour. So there was a lot that was said. There was a lot that was talked about. Of course,
it's a TV show and they edit it together the way they edit together, which we didn't really have any control of. But I think
they did a great job of highlighting the Libby method. I think if people saw it and they're
interested, they'll head over to our website, hopefully. So that was really our purpose was to
get the Libby method out there. Now, business wise, a lot of people are saying things like,
well, you're doing already so well. Why would you need investors? It's not so much about the money as it is the expertise. I'm
really proud of what I've been able to accomplish. And Tony obviously has his MBA in business and
he's a super smart guy, but we really truly want to grow our company to rival Noom and Weight
Watchers and the biggest weight loss companies. And when I say I want to be the biggest weight loss company in the world, I mean it. And the skills that I have that brought
the company where I'm at now, there's new things that I need to learn in order to take the company
where I want the company to go. So just like you're seeking help to lose weight, I'm sure you
know how to eat healthy. I'm sure you know what you need to do, but you're kind of following my
advice because I know a lot about weight loss.
And so there's a lot of people who know a lot more about business than I do.
And so we're looking to partner with people who will help us grow.
We're also very mindful of the people who we partner with.
So although, yes, we did get a deal in the den, we have nothing in the works right now.
I've had a couple opportunities to talk to Michelle and Manji right now. They've just
been giving us their business advice for free. They're going to see where we're at, what we need.
It's not something that we're going to rush into. We're going to really take our time and decide,
you know, if it's truly the right thing for us, if we need to go in that direction. And that's
something that he said to us as well. They're like, we think your business is amazing. We would love to invest,
but whether or not you need us truly is a whole other thing. So there's a lot more that goes into
it behind the scenes. Um, at the end of the day, it is a TV show. Um, and we used it as an amazing
opportunity. First of all, it was a, a dream of Tony and mine. So we, we've seen every episode
of the dragon stand sharp tank. Um, it's cause seen every episode of the Dragon's Den, Shark Tank.
Um, it's, there's a spin, there's spinoffs all over the world. And we always like,
we always watch together and we think, oh, what would we say? And what would we do? And
we're really proud of the business that we're running. Um, um, Dr. Beverly was,
no, Dr. Dean, I talked about running an ethical entrepreneurship and, you know, we like to look
at ourselves as ethical entrepreneurs and we want to do right by our community. We want to do right
by our team. Um, and we want to run business in a way that, you know, businesses aren't normally
run, although you have to run business in a business way. Sometimes, um, you know, we want
to be a company that people want to work for. We want to offer a product that people are really
proud to talk about and share.
So thank you for joining us last night.
I'm sure there'll be more social media fun stuff as well.
But I just want to say thanks to everyone that was a big part of it, including our amazing community who got us to where we are today.
So if you have any other questions, let me know.
I'll be happy to answer.
I saw some of them today.
Where's my comments here?
Why can't I see
you guys? Where are we? I am not getting my comments on my post. You guys, I'm sure you guys
are asking questions. Hang on just a sec. Let me see. Oh, here we go. Maybe that's gonna work. Oh,
there we go. Okay. Yay. When Simu said losers, we need to change that name. I got a bit mad at him and he thought he doesn't get it.
Yeah, so he did.
He actually did get it.
Like I said, there's a lot of, he was really great.
He was really super great.
There was a lot that was said behind the scenes that people didn't have an opportunity to see.
Arlene Dickinson, for example, she was pretty harsh, but she also said some really nice things about us as well.
Good morning. Congratulations to everyone around the world we're going to know all about the living method yeah that's the goal right i'm so proud to be a loser ah you guys are so awesome thank you
you did great however one of the dragons didn't like the loser's name he wanted to change that
well he didn't get it at first he got it at the end He got it at the end. He got it at the end, for sure.
What an awesome show last night.
Huge congratulations, Gina and Tony.
You looked amazing.
Aw, you guys are so kind.
Yeah, it was so fun.
It was great.
So it was a big production.
Obviously, we couldn't say a whole lot about it.
But I think that my favorite part was the shooting with our,
so we brought our members in and we we were all at a hotel downtown Toronto across from the the CBC and so we had dinner the
night before and then we had hair and makeup and just to hang out because you couldn't like it was
only the people who are going to be on air that could go up into the studio and into the building
and then so we sat there for a few hours before we
went on, but it was so much fun. I'm hoping there'll be some more behind the scenes stuff
that we're going to be able to share on that Dragon's Den we'll share as well. So yesterday,
the producers showed up. So we had our, we had our watch party. Um, the producer Molly showed up,
they brought their social media person. So it was super fun, uh, to have them there. I knew I was
like, okay, I was nervous about how
they were going to edit it, but I knew that I was going to be okay because the producer came. So I
figured it couldn't be that bad. It couldn't be that bad. But it was fun to, it was fun to watch
it with everybody. I hope you get your program into schools, hospitals, medical facilities. Can
you imagine how this could change the cost for health care you know what's really interesting so oh there's tony with my coffee
come say hi babes yes hi everyone hi um so so this is something that we're actually we were
interested in so ruth you guys know ruth k, who is studying, is from the University of
Ottawa studying the Libby Method. She originally wanted to study the program for the fact that so
many people were actually learning something online in a group that was actually making a
difference. And so her thought was like, this would be great, people in remote communities,
the whole online learning process. And so that's how that started with us. Obviously,
she did the program, she lost a lot of weight, she's a huge fan. She so that's how that started with us. Obviously, she did the program,
she lost a lot of weight, she's a huge fan, she's now studied how effective the Libby method is.
So a lot of research and studying has gone into that surveys, whatnot, all of that with her and
our team. And now she's working on the sustainability part of it. But yeah, well,
one thing we haven't really dug into and we know is is happening is that people are making a big difference in their health and wellness.
Going from, you know, pre-diabetic into normal range, dropping their A1C, lowering their medications, getting off them altogether.
Not to mention, like, just in the hormonal space, PCOS, menopause, diabetes is a big one as well. And because the living method takes like a really
holistic approach, I think we're able to, I came up with a program that was very systematic,
so very low stress on the body, but challenges the body enough and provides an opportunity for
the body to really make change. And so beyond just weight loss, you have to be healthy in order to
lose weight. So beyond just weight loss, are seeing a like a lot happening in terms of leveling up their health and wellness and in ways
that maybe they haven't before because i find people do this that you try all these different
things and the liby method brings everything under one umbrella and it's all the little things that
you're doing every single day that add up and make a big difference and that's how you're seeing the
results that you're seeing not just with loss, but across the board with everything else, which is
really super cool. So really super cool. Science Saturday post tomorrow is on the speaking of
science of digestion. That's a good one. If you have not been reading the science post, I highly
suggest you do because they are tied into where we're at in the program. And if you do have health
issues, especially I know sometimes we think, okay, well, I have this health issue, that health
issue. It's going to be harder for me to lose weight. And sometimes it can be. So we're going
to talk about that. Don't leave. My mom's like, oh shoot, we have just ordered our car. Not sure
we will still be here when you're finished. The whole lake, they're going to leave. You know what?
The Lakefield crew, they have like something more fun to do. So if you guys are all watching,
I love you. Thank you for coming. I know you guys have something more fun to do. So if you guys are all watching, I love you. Thank you for coming. Um, I know you guys have more fun stuff to do. It's the long weekend, uh, and
Thanksgiving. I can't remember what I was saying. Um, what was I saying? I can't remember what I
was saying. Anyway. Yeah. The Libby method's great. Um, so yes, I think it can make a big
difference. I think working with the government is something that we might be slower to move.
So that's inflammation, which can be caused from a variety of different things.
Um, food sensitivities, believe it or not.
Yeah.
Gluten, dairy, you know, all those, we're going to get into those and why it's such
a big deal.
Um, and, and, um, gut issues.
That's, that's a big one.
Also a microbiome.
We're going to talk about that and hormones.ome we're going to talk about that and hormones so
we're going to talk about four reasons why your weight might be slower to move but with that said
it doesn't mean that you're not going to lose your weight it's just going to highlight things
that you can do to specifically focus on that again just kind of like a like a deeper level
build on the maximizing conversation maximizing is is for everybody, but if you have a
specific health issues that might be holding you back, then make sure you join that conversation
with Dr. Paul. I'm going to put a poster in the group, uh, for him tomorrow. So if you have any
questions or you think that's you add your, add your questions to that poster, add your post,
add your questions to that. Um, that was my big deal. Food sensitivities. Yeah. And the smallest little tweaks that you
can do is food sensitivities, not fun. Like if you can't have dairy, you can't have gluten,
those types of things. Obviously, that's super sad because I love cheese. But we're going to
talk about how long you need to take them out of your system. How do you figure something like that
out? How much of a detriment is it really? So maybe you get bloated or whatever,
you know, with having some cheese, but really what is it doing? And all of this really leads
to inflammation. So food sensitivities can lead to inflammation. Gut issues can lead to inflammation.
You know, inflammation is a reason why your weight might be slower to move. So if you are not,
now this isn't for people who aren't really necessarily seeing the scale move yet because it's still normal.
This is more for people who are not seeing the scale move and your body isn't changing and you're not noticing any non-scale victories because you should be noticing something happening.
All this work that you're putting into, you should be feeling better, sleeping better, pooping better, body changing or weight dropping. If you're not feeling anything,
if you legitimately are like, and not just judging what's on the scale, but if you legitimately are like, nothing is happening here, then that's probably a good indication that you have something
else going on that you're going to want to get into. You guys are so lovely. I went on the
check-in video today you guys are all giving
thanks so Thanksgiving weekend this weekend um please do not stress I want to remind you again
that Thanksgiving weekend is not the reason why you've gained weight Thanksgiving weekend is not
going to stop you from losing your weight so please you know enjoy the food enjoy the time
with your loved ones um definitely don't want to stress. Part of the Libby Method too is that, yes, it spans
seasons, but it also is happening while we're living our lives. And you want to be able to
learn how to navigate celebratory days, holidays, and whatnot. The Libby Method is not about, you
know, not eating the pumpkin pie, you know, at Thanksgiving or not eating the cake on your
birthday. It's learning to have those things guilt-free without the, you know, that talk that happens in your brain and understanding that
just because you have the pumpkin pie doesn't mean then you have to like starve yourself the next day
or just because you know you're going to indulge later doesn't mean that you, you know, have to
indulge and overeat everything because it's your one opportunity to do that. So this Thanksgiving weekend, I challenge you to indulge. Indulge
in the conversation with your friends and family. Indulge in the beautiful weather. Indulge in the
food in a sense of like, if you're cooking it, really take time to be grateful that you have
beautiful food to cook. You know, if someone's cooked food for you, you know, take the time to be grateful
that someone's taking the time to cook food and cooked it with love for you. Indulge in the smells,
indulge in the flavors, you know, be in the moment, taste the food. You know, while you're
eating your food, just how great it is to enjoy food, you know, with our friends and our family
and loved ones. That's really when you indulge in. This is where you want to change your association with foods in a way that you really
enjoy them without the guilt and the stress that comes before eating. What should I eat? What should
I not eat? Should I eat this? This is too much. All of that. And then what happens afterwards,
right? And then the next day and the next day and all the stress that comes with it. It's really an
opportunity to reconnect with food in other ways. And there's nothing wrong with enjoying food. There's nothing wrong with
food filling your soul. There's nothing wrong with that kind of associations to food. It's just
usually the guilt and the stress and the aftermath that comes along with that. So that's what I
challenge you to do is to just enjoy, enjoy and indulge this Thanksgiving.
Now, with that said, this is also an opportunity if you don't want to eat the pie, if you don't
want to have this or have that, because you might notice some food pushers around the table, people
who love other people eating their food. And, you know, sometimes people are trying to watch their
food intake
and they like to see other, we call them food pushers. Keep an eye out for that. You don't
have to eat anything that you don't want to eat either, right? Some of you might be nervous about
the conversation around the table, having it be centered around your weight or your journey or
whatever, whether you choose to tell people or you don't choose to tell people. The living method can
be a difficult thing to explain. My one advice to you is what you say to other people, you are saying to yourself.
So just be mindful of that. People might have a lot of questions for you. We do have some answers
over on our website. So if you want to send them over there, you can read more about it.
It's just a really healthy way physically, mentally to get in tune with your body and to
help your body focus on fat loss and lose weight in all the healthiest ways. It's a healthy way physically mentally to to get in tune with your body and to help your body
focus on fat loss and lose weight in all the healthiest ways it's a healthy way to lose weight
um people will probably have a lot of questions so um if you have if you want any advice with that
pop into the group let us know the team is around all weekend except for monday the whole team is
off on monday but you can i'll still be checking checking in Monday. We'll still have some posts for you to review on Monday.
If you do ask any questions, we'll answer them as soon as we can on the Tuesday.
But the team is also around this weekend as well if you have any questions.
So I do want to talk about next week's tweak.
So we are back to satisfaction.
So bringing it back to satisfaction.
So back to the basic food plan, asking the four questions and eating enough to feel satisfied
10, 15 minutes later.
Now, some people will say, well, how are we supposed to lose weight if we're not like
reducing our portions?
Again, downsizing this week, less about eating less and more about the feels that are brought
up.
And it's about getting in tune to your portions.
So what you're going to do when you go back to eating dissatisfaction is still ask those four
questions and you'll notice when it comes to eating enough to feel satisfied your portions
are probably going to be smaller next week because of the downsizing this week um so really be in
tune with that um some people will ask at the end of this week they'll realize it wasn't so bad and
they'll say i could have totally gone back and downsized better. Should I go back and do it better?
Just keep moving forward because you'll have another opportunity to downsize again.
Downsizing loses its effect after like the, like we don't want to do it any longer than
a week.
So you want to bring it back to satisfaction.
So your body's like, oh, okay.
And then you want to do another round of downsizing again.
And then moving forward, we have other ways of addressing your portion so we'll move on from that people will have their scale
be moving on a sunday and they'll be nervous to go back to eating dissatisfaction on a monday
because they think that's going to stop them from losing weight it won't it won't at all
weight loss is based on momentum so now that your body at that scale is dropping it's going to
continue to drop even though you are eating back to satisfaction.
So don't worry about that.
Some people won't lose weight this week in downsizing and their weight will start to move next week.
And they will say, how come my weight is moving this week when it didn't move in downsizing?
It's because of the work that you've been doing leading up that will cause it to move.
So you're already doing so much right now to help the body focus on fat loss that the tweaks are
kind of extra that keep things moving along. And so chances are it's less about the downsizing tweak
and more about like if your weight just started to move or in this week or your weight starts
moving next week, chances are it's not anything to do necessarily with this tweak or the next
tweak. It's the time that you've put into this part of the program and the process at the end of the day. I find downsizing so tricky. Most of the time,
I just forget. Yeah, you can set alarms, timers, set your intentions in the morning. That'll help
you remember to say, hey, just reminding myself I'm downsizing. I'm really going to focus on
that this week. Really ask those four questions. So before you sit down, deep breath. Okay, the goal
is before I eat this meal, I'm going to take a minute.
The goal is to leave myself feeling slightly unsatisfied.
Let me ask this first question.
How do I feel before I am I hungry?
How am I going to feel if I eat all of this?
The second question, then that third question, right?
So just take a bit more time in the moment.
We're going to build on that as we go.
So you do want to make sure that you are really digging
into those four questions. Experiencing my first uptick in the scale, nine pounds down,
but scale up a couple pounds this week, working through the fields and remaining calm,
embracing the changes, including the fluctuations, trust the process. So fluctuations come because,
you know, maybe you're not drinking as much water because the temperature dropped. So
try to make an effort to get that in. Maybe you haven't been sleeping great. Maybe like me, I haven't been sleeping so great because I
was super excited and nervous about last night. It could be that you've been working out. And so
if your body's sore, your weight could be up. And also remember, your weight can be up because your
weight's also about to drop. So it's normal for your weight to go up right before it drops. So
keep that in mind as well. It's still unnerving though, right?
Still unnerving.
Been in my for the past week and a half.
So following a bit behind, which is okay.
Hope everyone in Canada has a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend.
If you're traveling, be safe.
Thinking of friends in Florida and other areas who are devastated by the hurricanes.
Yeah.
I mean, sending love to anyone right now who's struggling for any reason at all.
But man, like the get and slam with those two massive hurricanes.
Like it's, there's a lot going on and there's a lot to be thankful and there's a lot to for any reason at all. But man, like the getting slammed with those two massive hurricanes,
like it's, there's a lot going on and there's a lot to be thankful and there's a lot to be grateful for, for, for sure today. I love that. That's nice. That's a nice share. Uh, Maureen.
Um, I realized I have huge food waste issues even after like seven groups. Now I think I have,
I have done. Yeah. Yeah. I saw someone on social media today was like,
I want to join your program, but I'm so concerned about all these people doing all these programs.
She's like, I saw someone did six programs. I'm like, yeah, it's so interesting that people don't
grasp the reality of weight loss. One, some people have five pounds to lose. Some people
have 250 pounds to lose. So everyone's a little different. Um, and that is just like so much more
than physically losing your weight that there's just like so much more than physically losing your weight that
there's just like so much more to get into mentally to truly lose it in a sustainable way.
Well, how you lose your weight physically, obviously important, but that mental piece
is even bigger when it comes to being able to maintain. Depending on what it is, though,
if it's something I can reheat or eat later, and it's still good, then I don't have as much of an
issue. But if it's going to
be soggy or taste crappy, I really struggle to leave it. So I pack it anyway, even if it's not
a great, like I put it in a container, take out, bring it home. Even if it's not a really great
thing that you can save, it's this, it handles that one big piece of like, okay, at least I'm
not leaving it. And then, so it can be kind kind of the same but different if you have food in your fridge.
And it's always like it never feels good, you know, when you have to, you know, recycling day comes and you got to go through your fridge.
And there's like leafy greens you didn't eat or a zucchini that went bad.
Or, you know, Tony and I had a week where we went to the grocery store last week and then we were just so busy here and there.
And so we didn't do that.
And we didn't do that and we didn't do
the we're way away I can't remember why so much of our food went bad I think we're just busy and
we might have been away unexpectedly or like out for dinner or whatever so we didn't end up using
the food in our fridge and then we're just like man like that sucks like that really feels bad
not the wherewithal of course you can freeze it and other things but by the time we kind of went
in there and saw it we're like ah we have to toss some stuff, which isn't great, but kind of
the same, but different. Right. So if you're in your fridge, if you brought it, if you make it
and you put it in a container and you bring it from wherever you put a container, then when you're
going through, like, yes, it's sad that you didn't have an opportunity to, to, um, eat it. But at the
same time, as you know, you're not saving anything by eating food that
you don't need. Right. So, so eating food that you don't need isn't beneficial either at the end of
the day, but I hear you on this. I hear you on that. So that's, that might be something like,
even though it's going to be soggy, still pack it anyway, because that it could just be that,
it could be that initial feeling in the moment that you're having issues with. Because if you
are able to put the stuff in a green bin that, that, you know, come grocery time or that's gone bad or expired,
if you're okay with that, then I would just start with the baby steps and then putting it in the
fridge. I'm planning. My plan this Thanksgiving is making all my favorite stuffed chicken breasts
with provolone, sun-dried tomatoes, roasted Brussels sprouts, broccoli topped with grated
parmesan, blue cheese, and a walnut. Okay. This is all my favorites. This sounds amazing. Oh, everyone's off. Bye everybody.
All my family's leaving. It was so great to see them. They all came up from Lakefield,
um, last night, which was so great, which is so great. Small, but delectable cheesecake for
dinner. Oh, Linda, I'm coming to your house. I'm coming to your house. We are doing Thanksgiving dinner on Sunday. Gina has a sense of humor timing downsizing on Thanksgiving.
So I actually did think about this. I actually had a conversation with my team about this,
especially planning the start date, but there's never a good time to lose weight.
Okay, here's what I want to say. So this is actually what I woke up thinking about.
So if you have Thanksgiving on Sunday, Monday, a heck even today, the really impact of downsizing comes hot off the heels of eating dissatisfaction. It's really what you were doing last week that
made downsizing really effective. So what you can do is like, just, you can just go back to
eating dissatisfaction and then like, just add an extra day. Honestly, it's not going to make any difference whatsoever.
It's really about those first few days.
You know, when you're extra hungry, you notice by the end of the week, you're starting to
get used to those smaller portions.
And so just like, rather than thinking like, leave yourself feeling slightly unsatisfied,
you can just eat enough to feel satisfied.
So if you'd rather do that for Thanksgiving, like honestly, it's not going to really have
an impact at all. Not at all. It's leaving the food unsatisfied, but it's getting
easier. Yeah, it's hard leaving the food unsatisfied, but it's getting easier. That's
exactly right, Kathy. And so that's what I mean. By the end of the week, you're going to notice
your body calms down. It's like, oh, oh yeah, okay, I'm still getting like more than enough
food here. I'm fine. You're starting to get used I'm fine you're starting to get used to it you're starting to get used to the feels a lot of it is that mental peace and knowing
that you can't have it that diet mentality that's being brought up not so much that your body isn't
getting enough from the portions that you're consuming just more so that mental peace so that
will really start to calm down by the end of the week and that's why I'm saying so if you just want
to enjoy your Thanksgiving heck if you want want to enjoy your Thanksgiving, heck, if
you want to overeat your Thanksgiving dinner, that's totally fine too.
That's totally fine too.
Keep the water up this weekend.
This will help offset the salt and your glasses of wine.
Happy Thanksgiving.
That's a great tip.
Yeah.
So salty food will have your weight up this Thanksgiving for sure as well.
So that's one thing you can do.
Just be drinking.
Yeah. I'll be downsizing every meal, but on Sunday. Yeah. Right. Make sure you well. So that's one thing you can do. Just be drinking. Yeah,
I'll be downsizing every meal, but on Sunday. Yeah, right. Make sure you keep up with that
water. That will really help with that as well. Was an interesting week downsizing. Most days
were easy. Most days were easy. Some days were hard. Not planning anything big other than turkey
dinners. Yeah. In the car for the next six hours, water snacks packed hi sue plan to enjoy the weekend but not
gorge and feel sick yeah you want to feel good how do you normally feel on thanksgiving normally
feel overly stuffed full sleepy on the couch awful right how do you want to feel maybe you start a
new thing um maybe you saw a new thing you start saw i'm reading a comment maybe you start a new
thing where you go for a walk.
Everyone goes for a walk after Thanksgiving dinner or you go for a walk in the morning or sort of new tradition of being active.
Who saw the Northern Lights last night?
They were amazing.
Okay, so you guys have no idea.
We're in the car on their way.
Thanks so much, Tony and Gina.
Hi, Mom.
Love you.
Bye, guys.
And this is as if they're leaving me.
They got better things. They got got plans they're out of here they like came in they can't they let there's they're out um I've wanted to
see the northern lights for so long in fact I'm on Tony to book a trip somewhere to go see them
and so I'm always out there looking trying to find them and so last night kind of after things
were winding down we were at the local like like the bar here. Um, and everyone was outside and
noticed them and saw them. So I'm so like here in the city, which was so great. Um, better,
easier to see with a camera, obviously with your own eyes, you could see them a little bit, um,
easier to see with the camera. But I, I just was like, and if I hadn't, if I hadn't taken that
moment and I would have been so bummed because I
saw everyone's photos on Instagram today. Oh my God. I'm so jealous. Some of you like your view
of them was just incredible. Well, how amazing, right? Just like the world is such an incredible
place. I smile for the duration of Dragon's Den knowing part of this group. Can't wait for what
is ahead. Happy Thanksgiving. Ah, if you missed it and you were just joining us, I did talk about Dragon's Den off the top.
You know, I talked about things like we were actually in the den for a whole hour of that.
You only saw a small little part, but we were actually in there for an hour and we talked about
a lot of things. They have mad respect. Here's what I can tell you. They have mad respect for
the program, all of it. They just
think it's brilliant. They think it's great. Loved our pitch, loved our members, all of it. So they
were all really kind. It's a TV show, so they have to kind of be drama and they were really tough,
honest. They were really tough. I almost got into it with Arlene and Manji a little bit.
And then I pulled it back. I got a little bit riled up there. I was so super nervous
in the beginning. And then I got, they started like asking me questions and like, you know,
what makes you different? And then I was like a little nervous when they asked me that one.
But yeah, we were in there for a whole hour. It was super fun. But if you missed it, I,
I talked a bit about it off the top, but I just, again, thanks every like so great. I have so many things to be grateful for. Um, but I truly am. And it's not like, well, I know it's
so cliche when I say that, but it's not, it's not lost on me that we get to run this amazing company
because of you, because of the people who had faith and signed up with me for my very first
program, even though it was free, you had faith in me, people stuck it out. Um, and it created me
to do another program and another one and another one and group over group over group. We have grown
because of our members. 95% of people who are here are here because they know someone who's
done the program. And so that is just huge to us. Uh, and I want to make sure that we offer a
program that you're really proud. So whenever we do anything, whenever we redo the app and we do
our website or whatever we're doing, I want to create a better experience for you. I'm always
thinking about what can I do to help people? What do they need? But more than that, I really want it
to be a program that people are really proud of saying that they're doing. Because you know,
dieting has been a weird conversation. And to say that you're on a diet and whatever, there's always
something that comes with it. And I want the living method to be something that people are really proud to talk about
and really proud of themselves that they've done and they've lost weight in such a healthy way,
physically, mentally, all of that. But honestly, we would not be here today. Like I'm thankful for
that every single day. If it wasn't for all of you who put your faith in the living method,
I wouldn't be able to do it without my team. I have an incredible team of people who are just as passionate as I
am, which is just, I can't even tell you. They work really hard. They just put their heart and
soul into all of it. And of course, my family who just left me. They just left with all their support. So it's everybody, like really honestly, it goes to everybody.
So just so grateful for that. I am going to jet. So I'm going to be checking in on the weekend,
Saturday, Sunday. I won't be going live on Monday. Like I said, the whole team is off on Monday.
I hope everyone enjoys their time team working on the weekend. The rest of the day today,
we're around, pop and read the guidelines. So rest of the day today, we're around, uh, pop and read the guidelines.
So more of the same food plan back to those basics.
Um, you just really back to satisfaction.
You'll see, you'll see the different, which will be really interesting contrast now that
you're not downsizing to, um, see how your body is adjusted and hopefully that'll make
you more calm.
And then you're going to have another opportunity to do downsizing again.
So it's not going to be your last time.
Thank you, everyone, who joined me for today.
Thanks for all your well wishes about the Dragon's Den.
It was really exciting.
I hope that everyone has an amazing Thanksgiving.
And I will see you guys on Tuesday.
Bye.
Thanks.
