I'm Gina Livi and welcome to the Livi Method Podcast.
This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams from my 91 Day Weight Loss
program.
With a combination of daily lives, guest expert interviews, and member stories, there is something
new almost every day.
Miss the Morning Live?
Want to relisten to one of our amazing guest experts?
Well, this is the place.
This podcast is hosted on Acast,
but it's available on all podcast platforms,
including the one you're listening to right now,
Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music.
It is time to take a minute out
to hear from our podcast sponsor today,
which is another podcast actually,
the new wellness podcast from Audible.
It is hosted by Chrissy Teigen.
It's called Self-C hosted by Chrissy Teigen. It's called
Self-Conscious with Chrissy Teigen, where she's providing a safe space to embrace the
twists and turns of personal growth, one conversation at a time. And she has some really great guests
that she's having these conversations with, like Mel Robbins, Adam Grant, Gabby Bernstein.
These are some of my faves. So she's inviting listeners to learn life-changing new skill sets alongside her and her guests
to discover powerful new ways of understanding ourselves.
I like that.
That's right up our alley.
Self-conscious with Chrissy Teigen, expand your self-awareness, gain valuable insights
and become more self-conscious.
You can go to audible.ca slash Chrissy, C-H-R-I-S-S-Y podcast or wherever you
get your podcast from and start listening today. It is day 80 of the program. Let's go. Let's roll.
How are you feeling? Okay. So we're not done yet. We are not done yet. This week is all about
making sure you feel calm and confident about next step. So week 11, personalizing the plan. That's a great tweak to help you understand when to eat
and really getting in tune with your hunger levels
while still following the program.
There's a lot of safeguards and guardrails
and guidelines there for you to follow.
Kind of testing the waters.
This is the tweak that you're gonna use in between groups.
I'm assuming you're signing up, you're coming back with us
because we have a fricking fantastic program. We are assuming you're coming back in
April just like any other diet. You want to keep following it until you reach your goals. Clearly,
obviously, super effective. Hence our conversation with Professor Ruth Cain the other day. We also
have a really great maintenance program that's going to help you to solidify your weight and solidify your maintenance mindset.
There's a lot to this, especially if you've been trying to lose weight for a while.
A lot of people get stuck in a weight loss mentality, trying to eat less, exercise more.
Obviously, you're unlearning that, relearning and learning new things to be able to lose
your weight in a healthy way. And then there is the whole maintenance piece of it where it's learning what maintenance looks like
and feels like to you. Being in tune to your body's needs and being able to trust that.
Someone asked the other day, do you still weigh yourself? I don't. I do have a scale. I went
years and years and years not owning a scale after I lost weight until I started dating Tony.
He had one in his bathroom.
I think it's actually the same scale that we have today.
It just kind of came with him.
I get on it every now and then,
but I do not have to get on a scale
to know what my weight is.
Let me say that again.
I do not have to get on a scale to know what my weight is.
I can pretty much guess the number, bang on, based on how I feel. And that's where I
want you to get to, right? So that you don't need a scale, you just know how you
feel, you don't have to guess when you're hungry, what to eat, or how much to eat,
because you will just know. You will just be that in tune. And that's not
something you can do by counting and weighing and measuring your food.
And that's what this is all about. Big picture. This isn't a quick fix diet. This is like, we
truly want this to be the last diet that you ever do. And this is where we have all of our incredible
guest experts that come on and help share their knowledge to get to empower you, to help you make
the changes that you need to make at the end of the day. How are we feeling? Like we are week 11, I'm not seeing any comments pop up.
Jury selection duty done. Oh my goodness. That's stressful, right? That's stressful.
There are bound to be things that will come up. I'm hearing a lot of stories about people,
about this current program as they reflect back. Some people did a lot of travel.
Some people, stuff in their life came up.
Some people realized, oh my goodness,
I'm like the last on my list of priorities.
And no matter what the outcome,
you should be really proud of the fact
that you are still here, you are showing up,
and you haven't given up on yourself.
That's one thing that we've learned.
It's such a process.
It truly is such a process.
And it's just about continuing to move forward.
And it's the choices and the decisions
that you make right now today in the moment.
That is what creates your future.
And we all know time goes by so quickly,
and it's amazing what you can accomplish.
You know, people have said that.
It's amazing what you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. It's amazing what you can accomplish. You know, people have said that it's amazing what
you can accomplish when you put your mind to it. It's amazing what you can accomplish when just
every day you do your best to try to make as many choices as possible fall in line with your goals.
Love the Real People Real session with Dave and Jason. If you missed it, it's delightful.
I love both of them. It's amazing how although we have like 100,000 people run through the
program, each year we do really get to know our members, especially some of our more vocal
members. I want to take a minute out and I'm mindful that we're not done yet, but to really
thank each and every one of you who have joined me on the lives, who have shared, who have
asked questions, who have supported other members, whether on the live or just any of the other posts in the comments.
Those of you set your intentions publicly each day or within the group, obviously, and
end of day reflections, and you are what creates the community.
And it's the thing I'm most proud of, honestly.
Yeah, I know I help people lose weight, but the thing I'm most proud of is the really
incredible, supportive, beautiful, awesome, amazing community that we have here.
I think it's really special, especially online and you feel like you're part of something.
This is the big motivator as to why I get up every day and do what I do.
I want to show up for you.
I don't want to let you down.
I want to be here with you.
When I am on my darkest, downest days,
I've popped into the group and I walk away feeling inspired and lifted and feel lighter.
And you know, that's our new ad campaign is live lighter and it's just beyond the scale and beyond
the weight. So we had a great opportunity to chat with Dave, who's probably in the comments today.
Hi, and Jason same. You know what I really
loved about it? It was fun. I knew the minute I was told that they were coming on, I was like,
oh, this is going to be great. And then the team gave me a script and I'm just like, I don't need
it. I just want to just have a really organic conversation. And I'm glad I did. You know,
it was fun, but it was also serious. And I thought that was really interesting because they take their weight loss seriously
and they also take your weight loss seriously
and they also understand the journey that many of you are on
and they also understand the journey that many of you want your friends
or your family or your loved ones to be on.
I thought it was a really fun conversation, but it was also very thoughtful.
There's Dave. Hi, Dave.
Very, very thoughtful of a conversation as well. I absolutely loved it.
Hi, Kelly. Good morning. Feeling grateful that I found you in your program. This is my first round and I've lost 32 pounds so far. That's incredible.
When I joined, I decided to commit for a year. Excited for the next group and my ongoing journey. Thank you. Oh, I love that you're saying this. And I love that Ruth talked
about expectations and talked about people investing a year into this, right? Like, especially
if you have any type of history with dining, 12 weeks, I picked 12 weeks because it's long
enough to make change. And I broke it down program by program by program because I come
from working in the fitness industry, and the sales side of things and trying to
pressure sell people into buying memberships.
They're committed for a year.
They make it very difficult for you to cancel.
And a lot of programs bank on you not showing up.
They bank on you.
They want you to sign up, commit for the year, bank on you not showing up.
And then they want to put it out there that it year, bank on you not showing up, and then they
want to put it out there that it's your fault that you didn't follow through, right?
Or if you lost the weight, it's your fault, you gained it back.
And I just thought it was really icky.
I thought the subscription service, getting people to sign up for a year, it was really
icky, because that had been my experience.
And then I also wanted to do things differently.
I also understand diet dialogue, the diet industry traps, the mind traps and all of
that.
And I really wanted to do the opposite of that.
And so I went with a program by program basis that really allowed you to pick and choose
how many programs you needed.
I've come to really realize, one, some people like a subscription service because it makes
it more affordable.
Some people just don't have the money to put up front even though the living method is
super affordable.
For some people, it's not as affordable.
And I've been broke ass.
I've had my car repossessed.
I've been behind in my months of rent.
I've been wondering how I'm going to feed my kids.
So I'm very sensitive to that.
And this is why I constantly am really mindful about trying to keep the program as affordable
as possible.
It always hurts my soul when people talk about it being too expensive because I know the
value and I also have an incredible team of people.
It takes a lot.
It takes a whole village to run this program and give people the support that they need
and the resources and whatever that they need.
But I'm coming to realize that some people like the subscription service, especially
people who commit to a year.
So we're starting to think, what can we do?
Can we have someone?
Because I also believe in manifesting and committing.
I'm going to spend a year, I want to commit.
That's why yesterday on the evening live, I said to some of you, have you signed up
for the April program yet?
You know you want to continue, you know you need to continue, but for some reason you
haven't signed up yet.
Why is that?
Unless of course, respectfully, it's financial, you're waiting for that paycheck.
I totally understand.
Most people though can afford that you just bought a sweatshirt last week or you spend $100 in coffee every month, whatever that is. Why
haven't you signed up yet? Sometimes I think that's that commitment issue that people have.
So we're trying to think, can we have people maybe sign up for a year? Can we do a subscription
service where you can cancel after a certain amount of time without hassle?
Like I'm starting to believe that there's something in that as well.
So we're trying to think of new things and new ways to accommodate sort of everybody.
But back to you, Kelly, 32 pounds down in your first program, that is absolutely phenomenal.
I know Ruth talked about expectations, one to two pounds a week is like that is still
amazing and incredible. The living method
and the reason why some people can lose more is one generally it's just that they're coming
in their bodies in a different it's all about the state of your body when you start. Yes,
it's about how diligent or consistent some people can be. Some people just can't. Some
people can do all the things some people some of the things still worth absolutely doing.
But also it's the systematic nature of the living method. It's the unique some of the things still worth absolutely doing. But also it's the systematic nature of the Living Method.
It's the unique design of the Living Method that really just one week builds on the next,
on the next, on the next, and then just really gets into your issues and associations.
Again, it's designed out of me spending my entire life pretty much.
Really understanding what people need and do and work through in order to lose their
weight and it's really just how do I share that with people at the end of the day.
So that's phenomenal.
That's amazing.
I must be mindful as F this evening.
I'm going to a menu tasting for my son's upcoming wedding.
So fun.
I'll take my time, feel all the feels
and enjoy the tasting.
At least having celiac, the menu tasting for me
will have less items.
I'll be sure to drink as much water in between
and have a normal day leading up.
Right, keep your digestive system stimulated.
The worst thing you can do is not eat.
And then when you go to eat,
you'll notice your digestive system isn't stimulated.
You get full real quick and you just get bloated.
So eat a normal, have a normal eating day leading up.
And then yeah, look like indulge in being there and the excitement of the upcoming wedding
and in your son, I don't know if your son, I'm assuming your son and his fiance are going.
You know, indulge in that.
Just the beauty of being there and this happening and indulge
in the love and the listening and looking at the food as it's presented and visualizing
the guests eating it and smelling it and chewing it and tasting it, right?
Like, that's the amazing thing.
You can indulge when it comes to food in other ways.
And that's what I would make that about.
And this goes on for anybody in any social situation.
Indulge in the company, in the conversation,
in the gratitude of having this beautiful food
in front of you.
The gratitude of the abundance of the food in front of you.
There are other ways to indulge in it.
Smell it. and then chew it.
Chew it, right?
And so many people, so many people who have a history
of dieting just, oh my God, I shouldn't be eating this.
I'm eating it.
You're stressing while you're eating it.
So you're not even tasting it,
or you're worried about eating it,
or consume with your next bite of it,
and you're not even in the moment of it, you know?
That's so great.
I've been on stress sleep for two months, so reliving never missed a live or had one
interrupted by work. Some people, who was this? It was Elsie Hyde. I love Elsie Hyde. The team
just did a clip of her the other day. Go show her some love on our public pages. Follow us on social
media if you haven't. It's not the same, it's different. We post some motivational
stuff and some clips from our program. Elsie Hyde, I loved her whole attitude, right? She
just did what she did some days. She's like, I'm not doing this, whatever. Some programs
she couldn't really follow through, but she showed up. It's the learning. You can learn
without doing, right? You learn without doing. you can just sit back and listen to the guest experts
and not be able to follow along,
even not be able to move your body as much,
not be able to maybe drink water,
not even be able to have the capacity
to worry about what you're eating every day,
but just showing up for.
The guest experts alone is the price of admission
around here, my goodness.
This is again, which makes the living method unique
from any other diet that's out there,
really at the end of the day.
So I love this, I love this, I love this.
Be able to just absorb the information, right?
Hi everyone, hi Terry, feeling,
first morning back from Bali, Thailand,
back on track immediately.
Oh, we went to Bali last year.
Was it last year for Christmas?
Well, two years ago.
Yeah, two years of Christmas.
Oh my gosh.
That's amazing.
That's exciting.
Back at it.
Back on track.
Back on track.
Where's Pamela Woods?
It's her birthday.
Happy birthday, Pam.
Hi, Pam.
Happy birthday.
Happy birthday.
You know, I love you.
I adore you.
Oh, I love the idea of investing in a year, right?
Right, Rosie? Like investing in a year. I think that's I adore you. Oh, I love the idea of investing in a year, right? Right, Rosie?
Like investing in a year. I think that's like, yes, we're good. There's got to be something
around that. You know, I'm also working on other things. I'm like, what more can I do
beyond weight loss? I think this is really exciting because here we are working on this
weight loss goal, but everything that you're doing, like you can, you can attribute to,
you can do to any other goal that you want to attribute in life.
Whether it's your business or your relationships or like there's so many things that you can build on this foundation of health and wellness.
Building on being in tune to your body's needs, right? Like being self-aware. There's so much.
Having the confidence. Like who is this new you that you are transforming into?
You know, I think it's super cool.
Super cool.
While the scale is not down by much,
I'm definitely feeling lighter in other ways, right Jackie?
Releasing the weight of past experiences and regret.
At the moment, that is more than enough,
the rest will come.
That is so huge.
That is so huge. That is so huge.
Feeling lighter, living lighter in other ways.
Releasing the weight of past experiences and regret.
At the moment, that's more than enough.
Yeah, I feel that.
We were talking last night, one of the members was talking about living lighter
and going through a divorce and just kind of unpacking that, right? Whether it's your past experiences,
whether it's like mom guilt, I've been on this mission to work through so much mom guilt.
And as I watched my kids, I was sitting there with my son last night and just sitting at
the table, I sat down, I was tired, I wanted to go to bed. And then I was just like realizing
in this moment as he's turning 18 in May, and then going
off to school, and he's the youngest, I was just kind of sitting there and he was watching
some crazy stuff on his computer and doing work.
And I just kind of sat here in the moment and I'm just like, oh my God, it'll make
me cry.
I just don't want to spend my time forward with them guilty about, I don't know, just
trying to do my best, raising them in the past, you know.
I still have a lot of baggage from my first marriage, even though, you know, he's since
passed away.
And then you add regret on top of that.
And this is so much, so much, right?
Just like the past experiences and regret, then you add dieting.
And I want to take the dieting part off your shoulders because I'm not going to say you got
duped by the industry. Here's the thing about science, science is science until science changes
and science got it wrong. Science was right in the moment, but they were not right because
they would be right about a small tiny bit of it, but miss the whole massive big picture.
A lot of people really got duped when it came to diet and the low-fat era, the low-carb,
no-carb era, all the crazy diets that came and went.
It's just all a big mess.
If you showed up, and I haven't said this in a while, you know, you didn't fail those diets. Those
diets failed you. They were never designed for sustainability. Those are people sitting
around even today. Newman Weight Watchers are not trying to figure out how to help you
maintain your weight. They are sitting around in boardrooms being like, how can we sell
more memberships? We also want to sell more memberships because we want to run a successful
company. But we also want to sell you memberships into something that you are able to do, follow through and maintain and sustain.
Like we actually truly want this to be the last diet that you ever do. Other diets don't. They
bank on you failing and then coming back, failing and then coming back, failing and then coming back.
They sit around and try to think, how can we keep you here?
We sit around and we think, how do we help people so they can move on
and get their asses out of here?
Hi Sandy, I've been here two years still plugging along, right?
Two years focusing on yourself, eating healthier, mindful of your stress,
trying to get better sleep, move your body, work through all the things that you need to do mentally, work through your past, your issues, your associations,
your beliefs, your past traumas and doing it in a safe space and doing in a safe space.
You know, I used to be really like, this is not a lifestyle.
It's a diet, but I'm coming to embrace the lifestyle part of it.
This is a diet that is helping you create your lifestyle.
And this is a big part again,
I'm gonna bring it back to the tweak this week.
We want you to lose your weight, maintain your weight,
and then move on and feel calm and confident around food
and get to a place where you can trust when to eat.
Oh, I'm hungry.
What to eat?
Oh, I need some, you know, like protein is always
going to be a benefit at breakfast, right? Lunch, dinner, always a great idea to combine
proteins, vegetables, leafy greens, healthy fats. Lunchtime will always be the best time
for those heavier carbs. You know, it's good to add in a snack here or there, not go too
long of time without eating. Like you're, not following the regimen, but really understanding.
You know, we give you the whole grocery list.
It's not exhaustive, but it's about understanding what do I need?
Like if I go, if I'm hungry right now, I already know what's in my fridge.
We have to do a massive grocery shop.
My daughter boiled some eggs yesterday.
So if I go up and think, okay,
what do I want? I'll just go grab a boiled egg after I'm done here. Right? That's what
I'm going to go. Maybe boiled egg. I have some of this old Red Fox cheddar cheese. Oh
my God, it's so good. I might have a little bit of that. So this is sort of where I know
what's in my fridge. And if my mind goes to, oh, I want a donut, I'm immediately going
to be like, what the fuck? Why do I want a donut? Oh yeah, because the kids brought them home yesterday
and I just like remembering them, I'm just going to drink some water and have something.
I obviously don't want a donut. It's not what I want. So why am I craving sugar? Right?
Oh yeah, the kids had it. I'm in my mind, I'm seeing it and you know, I want to drink
water. So I'm hungry, what to eat and then how much to eat is covered by asking those four questions a million,
zillion times that I don't even have to eat the egg
to know I don't want to.
I'm not really all that hungry.
I'll just have a boiled egg because I want a little something,
something.
Maybe I'll have some fruit.
I have some berries.
So I'll have a boiled egg.
I'll have some berries, have some blackberries
and some raspberries, and that'll probably be it.
Not all that hungry, but I can have a little something, blackberries and some raspberries and that'll probably be it.
Not all that hungry, but I can have a little something something.
So that's right.
I know I won't want two eggs.
I just thought of eating two eggs.
I'm like, no, that's where I want.
I don't even have to eat them to know how I'm going to feel.
That's how brilliant your mind body connection is.
And so that's where we want you to get to.
So everything that you're doing is all like setting the stage to get you to that place, to get you to that place. Let's take a minute out to hear from
our podcast sponsor today. I mean, listen, we're always talking about how important it is to take
care of your skin. Your skin is your body's largest organ. We also talk about the importance
of creating routines, especially a nighttime routine that can help us sleep. But this one here is for
the new moms because Aveeno has a product for newborn babies. Skin is the
first line of defense and baby skin is about 30% thinner than our mature skin,
making it even more important to take action to help strengthen skin moisture barrier.
So using the power of oats as the hero ingredient, Avino Baby harnesses the power of oat to help
achieve skin hydration.
So if you're looking to learn more about how you can maintain and strengthen your baby's
skincare, head over to the website avino.ca.

Just want people to know this program is awesome.
Yeah, and just as good for a 70 plus person who wants to lose 10 pounds in addition to those who need to lose 100 pounds.
Yes. Yes. Thank you for saying it's all about healthy eating and being in tune with your body, moving to maintenance next round since I've been solidifying my weight for a year.
I love that. So, you know, nothing bugs me then I've had some, you know, snippety type of people come in and be like, well, your programs just for, you know, people have way more weight to lose.
And I'm like, I kind of get offended by that.
You know, like you're not any better than someone, you know, if you only have 10 pounds
and someone who has 100 pounds to lose, you're not any better of a person.
And it's quite frankly, not any easier sometimes for someone who has 10 pounds to lose, that
it is for somebody who has 100 pounds to lose, right?
Depending on so many things.
You know, 10 pounds for someone going through menopause, dealing with hormonal issues, dealing
with an epic amount of stress in their lives, right?
Food sensitivities for someone with 10 pounds can be just as hard as someone who's got 100
pounds to lose.
And I don't want to disrespect people who have a larger amount that is incredibly daunting as well but I don't know that one is any easier than the other sometimes.
You can have someone with 10 pounds to lose they do their first program they don't lose any weight
because their body's a hot mess. Second program you know maybe they lose the 10 they need to do
a next program to solidify their weight whereas someone else can come in and lose 40 pounds their first program, 30 pounds their second, 20 pounds their next,
and pretty much come close to 100 pounds in a year.
So everyone truly is a little different.
So I love that you said that.
I love that you said that.
And also mentally, two steps forward, one step back.
I read this thing once that women spend an average of 17 years
trying to lose the same 10, 20 pounds over and over and over again, right? And plus life. There's
Pamela Woods. There's Pamela Woods. Ah, thank you. All I can keep up to replying individually,
but thank you for the birthday wishes. I love everyone. Feel younger every year. I love that.
Hi, Joy. Last two days. Last two days, I've struggled. I'm not sure why. I've been
trying to figure it out. Back to the 20 questions. I think it's trusting my decision on what my body
needs. Digging in, listening to experts lives as well. I've got the tools. I just need to get some
of the noise out of my head. Yeah, I'm here week 11. I've got this. You totally do. So rather than
like what is the noise in my head? Get it out. What is that about? Like this is sort of where again, oh god, I love the program. I love the program. So it's so
multi-layered. And this is one of the reasons why I wanted to do a start and an end because that's
digestible. Some people have like, let's say you have a hundred pounds to lose, right? Oh, you got
to sign up for a year. Now, obviously in doing the Libby method, you're like, I could sign up for a
year. I could do this. Absolutely. But if you're like, I could sign up for a year.
I could do this.
Absolutely.
But if you didn't know about the program, that might seem really daunting to you.
And so there's a start date and there's an end date and it's digestible.
And man, this is why, who said it?
Was it Julie Keeon, our guest Julie Keeon?
The feeling that you get from being here at the end of 91 days is such a massive sense
of accomplishment.
It truly is.
And that's why I like that start date and the end date.
There's the start, you're excited, la la la, you're doing the things, and then there's
that middle part which can be magical or messy, right?
And that's where a lot of people start to trail off.
It's the longest they've ever gone on a diet, so that's how they start to believe, oh my
God, I can reach my goals.
That's where they start to sabotage.
Like it's a lot.
And then the end of the program is really exciting because you're getting to the end
of the program.
But then what are next steps?
It can make you nervous.
It can bring up trust issues.
It can, you know, sometimes it's like the end of something.
You like, like it's something ending.
So the feeling of ending is troublesome for some people,
even though we're going to start again in April.
And like, for example, have you signed up
for that April program yet?
Right?
And then sometimes it's that, oh, I got to keep going.
So I wish I just want to be done now, right?
Because you're doing it again.
In some sense, it's like, yeah, I'm going to do it again.
That's exciting.
And then other times, I'm still on this journey.
I wish I, why can't I just be done?
Or sometimes the closer you get to your goal,
it can freak you out.
And then also, we're doing such massive change.
That's what you are actually changing, not just physically,
mentally.
We're rewiring how your bodies come to function,
yet that set point physically,
rewiring your brain and your thoughts that have come out of habits.
Some people have a very negative dialogue.
And then the maintenance program, we're like reprogramming.
That's where we're reprogramming our body, reprogramming our mind.
So you're really, you are changing.
Talk about neuroplasticity, cognitive behavioral therapy.
You are literally changing
the vibration that you put out into the world, how you are in taking information, the energy
that you're putting out there. That can really shake things up. And it can cause for a moment
of pause and just be like, whoa, okay, what's going on? What is happening?
Where am I at?
How am I feeling physically?
How am I feeling mentally?
And then you, and then let's just take the stuff
that's happening on the outside.
So you have got, you have got to get used to the change.
And this is what we talk about in maintenance.
You're not just solidifying your weight physically.
You are solidifying your maintenance mindset.
And this is like, almost like like you being new, physically new,
mentally new, who are you?
And then as things in life start to hit you,
it's so easy to fall back into old patterns.
And yet, if something is happening in you,
that is happening in your life that's challenging you,
and then you are your new you, this
is where it can take a minute for you to be like, whoa, like, okay, what am I doing with this?
How am I feeling?
What's going on?
You know, it can be, you could be struggling, for example, with friendships.
Ruth talked about, you know, changing friendships.
I mean, no one talks about that when it comes to weight loss, how it changes dynamics when
you are making change, not just physically. It can be just a surface as you used to be the fat friend, and now you're no
longer the fat friend. You used to be the unhealthy, everyone can rely on you to bring the chips and
eat the burgers and eat the thing, have the donuts, and you're no longer that person, so you're no
longer the fun friend. Right? Like this is like, it can, that's surface level, that's surface level
stuff. You are changing, you're starting to recognize you deserve better, you are more worthy.
And so maybe you're noticing the people around you aren't treating you in the way that you deserve.
And that can mess with you. Right? There's so many things about this that can cause you to feel like
you're struggling, that are so much deeper than just not being able to drink your water or so much deeper than not being able to eat your snacks.
It's at this point, week 11 of the program, and then having the end and then embarking
again, it's forcing you to change.
It's forcing you to self-reflect.
It's this way this is not a quick fix diet.
And this is why, and this is how it it's gonna be the last diet you ever do, you know?
So this is sort of like what is going on with me.
Is it something that, is it my thoughts?
Is it my, is it how I'm feeling?
Sometimes you're just feeling off,
like maybe you're getting your period,
maybe you're feeling hormonal,
maybe you've got something going on internally.
So is it, maybe you just haven't been sleeping.
Why have I not been sleeping?
What's going on in my mind?
Is it the thoughts?
Am I being triggered?
Did something happen this time of year, last year, 10 years ago,
very traumatic for you that maybe you're not?
We talked about this in maintenance when the pandemic.
So just after March, we were talking about how we feel a little funky.
And Odette brought up the maintenance group.
She was like, this is when the pandemic started happening.
Remember that March break where our kids got out of school
and never went back.
And so our bodies still hold a lot of trauma
triggered to certain dates, certain times of year.
Things pop up and we remember certain things,
which is interesting.
So it's a lot.
It's a lot. I do not find this program expensive. It's an investment for my health and well-being.
Yeah, I mean, it's not. It's the most affordable program on the market. The value of it is insane.
Literally insane. There's a lot, like the upkeep of the app, for example, trying to keep costs.
People talk about the costs go up. For people to continuekeep of the app, for example, trying to keep costs.
People talk about the cost go up.
For people to continue to use the app in between groups, it costs money.
We have to pay for that.
The app itself, the AI, the resources, paying the team, all of everything that goes into
the program.
Now, the reason why we can do that is because we keep growing or we need to grow
to keep that up. And so this is why we have to advertise the program. We want people to
sign up. We need people to sign up. But what I love is that I can say that in good conscience
because once they get into our program, they're like, wow, this is amazing. So it's hugely
affordable. But I also, I come from, if you've ever been someone who's struggled financially, it's
hard to say that because there was a time where I wouldn't have been able to afford
my own program.
Like I'm talking like broke ass.
And it's not because I wasn't working hard.
It's because my husband got sick at the time.
He couldn't work.
I couldn't work. We couldn't work. We couldn't
work. We couldn't keep the momentum of our business going. And it wasn't because I'm
not a hard worker and I'm not smart and any of those things. It was because something
happened in my life and it was just a complete setback. And so I'm always very conscious
of that. I need to get let it go. I need to get over that because I think it's a bit of a roadblock
in my mind. But yes, so I do believe it's super affordable. But then I can't, listen, I can't even
say it's super affordable without them saying, I understand for some people struggle. But yeah,
I like this. I like to focus on the value of the problem. I have so many people over the years.
I could totally charge thousands of dollars for it.
I see people do that all the time.
And that's like knowing your worth.
Am I worth more than $99?
Yes, I could totally charge thousands and thousands of dollars, I'm sure.
But my mission isn't money. My mission is
helping people. And I do believe if I can keep it more affordable, I can help more people.
Now, that doesn't mean that I'm not going to have offerings where, you know, everything's
going to be super affordable for everybody. At the end of the day, I'm an entrepreneur.
There's things I want to do. Someone mentioned cruise. Like I want to get into travel and
I want to get into women and wellness type of travel. I want to get into travel and I want to get into women and wellness type of travel.
I want to get into women in business and connection.
Not everyone's going to be able to afford that, right?
But that's okay.
There were so many times in my life,
I couldn't afford things, but I still aspired.
And you know, I would look into things,
trips or retreats or women's groups.
And in fact, this program was kind of based,
I don't know if you know, Gabby Bernstein,
who I had the opportunity to share the stage with a few years ago.
When I was broke and down and out, I read one of Gabby's books.
What was it?
It's got my menopause brain.
It was one of her books, That and the Secret.
I watch The Secret every day, so I'm big on manifesting.
I would
read Gabby Bernstein's book. At the time, she was offering this thing called B-School.
B-School was with her, Chris Carr, Marie Forleo, and it was like $3,000. I could not afford
B-School, but I wanted to see what they were doing and how they were doing it, this educational
thing. How were they sharing their knowledge, right?
And so I couldn't afford the $3,000.
So man, I went online and I'd signed up for newsletters and I would look at their Instagram
accounts, social medias and everything that they were doing and how they were doing it.
And this a lot of what I learned just through like trying to figure it out for free is sort
of like sort of the sort of what
a lot of the components I originally started the Living Method with obviously was my weight loss
program and all of that. But the sending of the emails and how they were running things business
wise, I learned from them, right? So I still believe in sort of like, you know, sometimes we're
not there yet, but I want to work to get there, you know.
If I'm on day 66 and sign up for the next program already, do I just go right to the next program, or should I take a few days off between programs down 20 pounds so far and want to keep it moving?
So this is what I love about the reset of the next program. It's so good for so many reasons,
because even if you did, even if you made it to day 66 and you stopped today, you've still done a
lot. You've changed, right?
You've made change physically, you've made change mentally.
So every time, no matter where you are at,
every time you start the new program,
you're starting on a new level.
So when you started the living method,
your body was functioning on this level.
Mentally, this is where you're at.
You went through, you made change, you evolved,
your metabolism increased, your body worked on some things
and mentally you worked on others,
and then you do a reset again.
So you're not like coming in and starting again.
You are starting from where you're at and doing the program again, right?
People are sometimes have a hard time wrapping their head around doing it again.
So I'm just going to do it again.
Yeah.
Opportunity to level out, dig deeper.
You know, you're a few months to your body is nothing.
It's nothing.
It's all amazing what you can accomplish.
So you have a couple options.
So we do have that two week break in between.
So you can go all the way right through to as far as you can go with the program and
then just roll right into and then reset with the start of the next program.
So remember for new people, we give you that prep week, but for returning people,
it's like get started day one, let's go, right?
This is where you're asking the four questions,
you're maximizing, you are not like,
you're not starting again mindset wise,
you are like digging in day one starts for you,
hit the ground, let's go, let's get at it,
we're not fucking around.
What do you need?
Where are you at?
Let's assess your situation.
Let's go. Let go of the past group you were in. Turn the page and let's go. Right? So you can,
you can, um, now you can follow all the way through. If you have no issues working behind
the group, you can follow the, your way through and then sort of start the next program on your
own timeline. But I would probably just take it as far as you can get
and then do a reset from the beginning.
There's still a lot of value in that.
A lot of value in that.
There's one thing that you might be noticing.
So Facebook has a new thing now where the daily lives
are after something has aired live in the Facebook groups,
it's gonna disappear after 30 days.
So it's got a 30 day shelf life. You You might have noticed in the group we've been doing some
replays for you that's why you might see some double posts. That is because
people were having issues with Facebook live they couldn't find them due to this
new thing. Facebook has since sorted that out so you'll notice if you are having an
issue watching the lives you can now watch them with no problem.
In our next group we're actually going to create
a daily live guide in the app.
So you'll be able to watch all the expert,
so all the expert lives are in the expert guide in the app,
so you might not notice that.
If you go into the app, you open it up,
there's a whole expert guide.
All of the segments are there, so you can watch them again.
Next group, we're also going to create a daily live guide.
So after the lives are live, you'll be able to watch them in the app itself if you're
interested in doing that just for like really quick viewing.
One of the things just heads up we're going to be doing as well is that the podcast will
be behind a paywall.
So you have to be a member of the program to access the daily live podcast that are going on.
So some of the changes that we're making.
So yeah, we got, and we're doing a whole revamp.
We got some things going on with our app, some changes that we're making.
We're always working on making changes.
Before I go today, I want to remind you, please, please, please, please, please, please, please fill out the survey.
Take the time, fill out the survey.
It's for us, but it's for you.
Let us know what you liked, what you loved, what you didn't like, what you would like
changed, any ideas that you have, even if you think they are just whatever and there's
no way we would do them, please share with us.
We've made so many changes to the program and whether it's equally important if it's
your first program, it's equally important if it's your 24th program.
Like I want to know how to best support you.
And if you're listening to this and you just like you hate the program and you can't stand
me, I definitely want you to fill this survey out.
And I want you to tell me how you feel and why.
And some I can't change me, obviously.
That doesn't mean that I can't change and evolve.
That doesn't mean I can't still learn.
I'm far from perfect for sure.
But I want to know why, because I
want this to be the last diet that everybody anywhere ever
needs to do.
And it's especially important if you
feel like it didn't work for you to let me know why. What could I have done differently? What could we do and add in to help you?
And if you crush the program, I want to hear from you. Right? That's always good to hear.
It's like, what about it was so great for you? What made it easy for you? What made
it successful for you? What more would you like to see? What less would you like to see
less? Right? There's a lot in the program. Would you like to see less of the program? So if you could take some time, fill out the survey. We're going to
post it next week. I would super duper appreciate that. What is going on? So tomorrow's Thursday.
Today I'm back today, the tweak this week. So if you've got any questions we're going to talk
about tweak this week. We're also going to talk about next week, maintenance in between groups,
next steps and all of that. If you want to join me today at 12 o'clock, otherwise, uh, have a fantastic day.
I know I didn't get to a lot of your questions.
Thank you so much for joining me.
Never gets old.
Week 11, uh, it never gets old of the program.
Um, expensive is spending $7,000 on a bicycle.
I hear you Sandy, but if you love biking, there you go.
Have a super fantastic day.
