Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm Gina Livy and welcome to the Livy Method podcast. This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams from my 91 day weight loss program. With a combination of daily lives, guest expert interviews and member stories, there is something new almost every day. Miss the morning live? Want to re-listen to one of our amazing guest experts? Well, this is the place. This podcast is hosted on Acast, but it's available on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple,
Starting point is 00:00:31 and Amazon Music. 89 of the program. I mean, wow. Come on. Okay. So how fun has the last three months been? I mean, it doesn't mean that you haven't had some feels here and there along the way. I hope that you walk away from this program feeling hopeful, feeling inspired, feeling empowered, feeling more knowledgeable about what you can do, about truly losing your weight in a healthy way, physically, mentally, and in a way you're going to be able to maintain and sustain. That is my wish for you, my hope for you, my dream for you. This is why I get up here every day and do what I do. Because for whatever reason, I have a passion for helping people, specifically when it comes to losing weight. Maybe it's because I was on my own weight loss journey myself. Maybe it's because I was on my own weight loss journey myself. Maybe
Starting point is 00:01:26 it's because I've been fascinated about the diet industry. I've been alive long enough to see sort of the evolution of the craziness of it. In fact, I'm writing a book. I'm writing a book about everything that I've learned working in the diet industry, sort of where the concept of dieting started, the history of it. Of course, I'm sharing my personal journey. And of course, I'm sharing lots of tips. Wow, it's, you know, the thing that's so complicated about losing weight is that we need to eat. And we have when it comes to diets oversimplified the concept of calories in versus calories out. And we got really stuck
Starting point is 00:02:06 and a lot of people made a lot of money and a lot of big business on what we knew then. And now we know better. And we know so much more. And you know, what'd be really great is if the diet industry itself, listen, there's more than enough for everybody. Yes, I want to have the number one weight loss company in the world. But it would be really nice if the diet industry would really own up to their part in it and make the changes needed. And I understand they can't just, you know, overhaul and change everything and admit, hey, guess what? We were wrong. Because everyone would go and ask for their money back, I'm sure. So I do understand it's complicated. But for the sake of actually helping people lose weight, for the sake of a healthier society, for the sake of obesity rates actually starting to decline and decrease, for the sake of actually helping people be healthier and live longer,
Starting point is 00:02:55 you know, it'd be great. It'd be great if, you know, the diet industry would get caught up and really be honest about where they're at. But that ain't never going to happen. That ain't never, ever, ever going to happen. So here we are trying to do our part. A couple of things, a couple of things. Make sure, I know I sound like a broken record. Make sure you are super clear on next steps. I want you feeling confident. Also remember that you still have access to the information in this group after the fact, so you can pop in at any time and review the information.
Starting point is 00:03:26 We won't be here to answer any questions that you have. So after Monday, the team starts working on our next group, getting that ready. There's a lot involved in getting each new group ready to go. There's a lot behind the scenes. The team is working on leveling up the AI in the app. The team is working on a variety of different things. So come Monday, we will no longer be here to answer the questions that you have. So get them asked.
Starting point is 00:03:50 If you've been, you could get a pen and paper and write out all the questions that you have and just post, post, post, post, post. There's no limit on that. Also, I, again, I'm asking for you to fill out the survey. So many of you already have. I really want to know. I want to for you to fill out the survey. So many of you already have. I really want to know. I want to know what you loved about the program. I want to know what you didn't like about the program.
Starting point is 00:04:11 I want to know what you'd like changed. I want to know what you'd like to add. I want to know how well you did or how well you didn't. I want to know it all so I can better help figure out how to support as many people as possible. So if you can take time to fill out that survey, I would really appreciate it. I saw the team made a list of all of our guest experts for you. If you haven't seen that yet, it's a really easy resource.
Starting point is 00:04:35 So next group in the app, we've actually created a guest expert section of the app. So we're trying to make it really easy for you to find all the guest expert segments while you're doing the program. So in January, there will be a guest expert section. So you'll be able to pop into that and easily find the segments that you might have missed. But the team has put together a post that has all of the guest expert segments on it. Just go look at it because if you have been keeping up with all the segments, you're going to be like, what? Wow.
Starting point is 00:05:08 We covered a lot of information. You are not the same person that you were when you started this program. If you have been showing up and following along with us, you have made real change. And the gap in between groups will be an opportunity to really see what you have done, to really see the changes that you have made, not just physically, but mentally and who you are. You've done a lot of work to actively make change, which is really super cool. So the gap in between groups will give you an opportunity to test that out. So our next program starts January 6th, next weight loss program, and our next maintenance
Starting point is 00:05:45 program starts January 6th as well. A lot of you asking questions about the maintenance program because you've purchased it previously. So you can keep it in your back pocket until you're ready to use it. Also, I'm always transparent in what's going on behind the scenes business-wise. The price of the maintenance program will be going up at some point, especially once we get the app and the book and all that ready to go. Right now we're kind of running it old school, the way the weight loss programs used to be, where we run the 91 day maintenance program in line with when we're running the weight loss program and it's all online. So if you're already
Starting point is 00:06:20 in the maintenance group, you do not have to pay more money to be able to do the January maintenance program. So right now it's pay one price, $75 you get in. Everybody in there will be grandfathered in. And then once the price goes up, anyone new will have to kind of follow that pay structure. So for those of you asking, we also have our new friends and family promo. You guys know that our prices are going up in January to $99. It's just because it's time. It's not because of Dragon's Den.
Starting point is 00:06:47 It's not because of anything. This has been something that's been in the works for a while. We started at 60. It took us a few years to bump it up to 75. And now it's time that we bump it up even more. But here's what you need to know if you're in this program, right? We're going to continue to have our amazing early bird sale. So when you get on that, that's where you're going to save the most. And then we've come up with our better together. We want to inspire people to do the
Starting point is 00:07:09 program with friends and families and coworkers or the community. We know that when you follow along to reach any goal and you're doing it with someone else, you are more statistically likely to be successful. Although $75 even for one person is still an amazing deal. It's still an amazing deal, right? So if you're interested in our Better Together promo, you can head over to the website. All right, let's go into it. Should I buy the maintenance now so I can be ready to get in there? So Ashley, I love this question, right? If you don't need it, you don't have to buy it. I'm just giving you a heads up full transparency on the pay structure. It's $75 to get in is like, it's insane. It doesn't make any sense. The reason how we got to that was that we originally didn't have
Starting point is 00:07:56 a maintenance program. We just had a maintenance group where we had daily posts. We talked about maintenance and we had a team there answering people's questions. So for the cost of $75, just to have access to the team to ask any questions that you have while you are in maintenance, definitely worth it. Since then, we've made it way more robust and we've created a 91 day maintenance program proper. And so that's why it started with $75 get in because it originally was just a group. And this is why eventually the price will be going up. So if you want to purchase it now, keep it in your back pocket for when you're ready. That's a great idea, but you don't have to.
Starting point is 00:08:34 It's really just about saving a few bucks. Also, I am a massive fan of manifesting. I manifest by acting like I already have it. Like for example, I would manifest maintenance by acting like I've have it. Like, for example, I would manifest maintenance by acting like I've already reached my goal. And I'm in maintenance. Now, even if I have to still, like I've already manifested, I've already I already have the number one weight loss company in the world. That's how I function. I don't. But I'm thinking it, I'm seeing it, I'm believing it. And that then then what happens is when I have that belief
Starting point is 00:09:06 system, I start pulling in the things that I see and attracting the things that I need that are going to get me to actually accomplishing that goal. I don't know if you're big into manifesting or not, but when I was broke, I mean, when I was raising, there was a tough time in my life where my husband had gotten sick. And then eventually we got divorced because of what happened with his sickness. He just, you know, it was a lot and he changed and we both changed and our marriage did not make it through the fact that he almost died. And he was very sick. I and because he was sick, I had to raise four children on my own. I was months behind in my rent because I couldn't work because I had to take care of my husband. I got my car repossessed and I didn't know what I was going to do. And I would watch
Starting point is 00:09:53 The Secret every day. If you ask my kids about The Secret, they'll roll their eyes. I would watch The Secret every day and I would just write out, you know, sort of things that I wanted in my life, things I wanted to accomplish, where I wanted to be, how I wanted to feel, all of that. It's very much like when I say to you, envision the you that you want to be, the weight that you want to have lost. What is your life going to feel like when you wake up in the morning? What's that going to feel like when you go to your closet and put on your clothes? What's that going to feel like? Right? Like what are the conversations you're going to have? How are you going to be different? And then you get a sense of who you want to be. And so it's kind of like a roadmap. That's what I think manifesting is kind of like
Starting point is 00:10:36 a roadmap. You know, you are going there. Things might happen along the way, but you stay true to where you're trying to go. And so people now ask me, how did you become so successful? And I don't know. I don't know. All I know is that I had a really strong why, and I knew where I wanted to go. And this every day I woke up and did the things that I knew I needed to do or could do to get me one step closer. Now, some days were a complete wash and other days were more productive. And there were moments that were like, oh, am I ever going to get back on my feet? Am I ever going to be where I want to be? How am I going to accomplish the things I want to accomplish? And it was just the little things that I did each and every day. But I'm a big believer in manifesting. And if you're not a
Starting point is 00:11:23 big believer in the word manifesting, there is science to what is filtered into our minds and the things that we look for. When you wake up and you are more positive in your day, you're more likely to see the positive things in your day. When you wake up on the opposite side of the bed or start your day not so positively, you tend to pull in all the, all the, you know, the, the not so positive things in your day. When you wake up and you are grateful that you have a house and your roof over your head and all those things, you're likely to, you know, see more positive things. When you wake up and you look around your room, that's a mess. And you're just like, this house is a mess. And you just, you end up seeing more chaos and things you
Starting point is 00:12:03 need to do that you haven't done and whatever. And it just puts you in a mood. It's like when you buy that new car, right? You, you decide you want to have a red car and you buy that exact red car and you drive it off the lot. And all of a sudden you look around and it seems like everybody else is driving that exact same red car. And you're like, what the heck is happening? Because science has told us and proven that your mind pulls in things, like it attracts, whether you want to say pulls in the things that prove your thoughts, whether those are positive things or whether those are so-called negative things. I don't believe in positive and negative. It's just how you interpret it at the end of the day, but for the sake of explaining, right? So I'm a big believer in manifest. This is why I'm a big believer that if you know,
Starting point is 00:12:48 you have more weight to lose and you haven't signed up for the January program, this is not a sales thing. This is like a, why, why haven't you done that? If you know, you have more weight to lose. What are you waiting for the end of the program to prove something to yourself to wait? What are you waiting on? And end of the program to prove something to yourself, to wait, what are you waiting on? And if you have done the program and you've been successful, or even if you've done the program and you haven't been successful, you understand why. Like there's so much proof in the pudding around here.
Starting point is 00:13:16 There's so much. We have thousands and thousands and thousands and thousands of testimonials we hear from real people. But if you haven't signed up for the program yet, of course, unless there's financial reasons waiting for your next paycheck, I get that I get that. But if you have the money, and you haven't signed up yet, you might want to ask yourself, why haven't I? Because there's probably some truth in there about your hesitation, your lack of trust, your I don't know, there's probably something in there that's a value that is going to, that, that is part of your weight loss journey or the part of what is holding you
Starting point is 00:13:52 back or the part of why you don't follow through. There's some truth in there. And so that's why I'm like, yeah, okay. The next program is still five weeks away, but manifest that shit, own that shit. Yeah. You're fucking right. I'm signing up for the next program because I'm going to get this done. It's a no brainer. It's, there's no, there's not even a, there's no doubt in my mind. Right. And so that's what I mean. If you haven't signed up, if you're sitting here today and you're listening to this and you have the means to sign up and you haven't signed up, you're doubting something, you're doubting something. Right. And why is that? And I'm not criticizing that thought. That's always your thoughts and your feels. There's something there for you
Starting point is 00:14:29 to learn from, to understand from that is going to get you to that place, to that place, right? It's the same thing. Why am I hesitant to do this? Why am I, if I know what my goal is, there's a lot of uncomfortable things that I'm going to need to do in order to be the number one weight loss company in the world. Again, this is my example, because this is my reference, and this is the goal that I'm personally working towards. Whether it's the number one weight loss company, or it's your own business, or it's weight loss, or it's a better relationship, or whatever it is, goals are goals at the end of the day, right? So having and knowing that goal and doing everything you can to support you in the goal, which means have the tools, have the resources. I just signed up for a bunch of courses last night. I've been seeing this thing pop up and I'm like, what am I doing? First of all, this is a business
Starting point is 00:15:17 write-off. Like I'm acting like, I don't know, should I spend the money on this? Like anything that I can spend my money on that's going to help me learn and grow and evolve. Um, by the way, Tony, I signed up for masterclasses. You'll see it on the company credit card. Uh, but I was like, why haven't I already signed up for this? I see it all the time. I want to listen to what other people are saying. I want to learn. And, but my own having come from financial issues myself, I'm just like, I don't like, cause it's something I would spend on myself. I'm just like, and don't like, cause it's something I would spend on myself. I'm just like, and then all of a sudden I was like, why am I not, why, what is my hesitation here? Because you know what? Part of my hesitation is like the thing I signed up for is something that I want to do. And I'm thinking, am I afraid that I will, will learn that I'm not good enough?
Starting point is 00:16:01 Well, like, what is my hesitation in signing up for this? Right? Like I was like, what is my deal right now? Why am I not signing up for something? I know it's going to be a benefit for me. Right? So, so even I, that should be a no brainer. I have the money. I can afford it. It's going to be a huge value, but there was some hesitation. I've watched this thing for months and months and months and be like, Oh, this is really cool. I would love to see this. I would love to sign up for this. They're like learning courses. And then I was like, what is my fucking deal with this? I'm never going to learn if I don't sign up to learn at the end of the day, you know. Let me get into, I'm going to lose over the break in the program. So many people have. There's no reason why you
Starting point is 00:16:40 can't continue to lose over the break of the program. Personalizing the plan is a great way to do that. If you lost last week, this week, at any time during the program, if you have fat to lose, you can totally lose. I also do want to say there's nothing wrong with not losing and just choosing to maintain as well. Make a plan. Make a plan. What are you going to do? Are you going to keep going towards those goals? Are you going to be like, fuck it, I'm just going to enjoy the holidays and I'll regroup in January? Or is there some middle ground? Is there some middle ground there, right? All right, let me scroll back and start answering some of the questions that you have today. All right. God, I talked for a while, didn't I?
Starting point is 00:17:17 My goodness. I paid $150 to literally starve myself, a 1200 calorie a day diet. Lost lots, but gained it all back and then some. So the Libby Method is the kind of program that in the beginning, if this was your first program, or if you've done multiple programs, and you think back to your first program, you probably had a lot of questions. And you're like, what the hell? How am I going to lose weight during this diet? I hope that you've come to appreciate all the different layers and intricacies. Like it's just, it's so cool. It's so multi-layered. And then when you're done the program, it's just like, why isn't everybody doing this? Why isn't everyone doing this? It's so easy. It makes sense. The hardest part is the stuff that we got to work through individually, right? On our own. Good morning. My goal was to lose 20. I adjusted that about halfway through to 10, which I'm happy with. We'll tackle the other
Starting point is 00:18:12 10 in January. Weighed myself this morning. I'm at 9.8 loss. Come on. That's why you go right to the very last day, Colleen. That's why you go right to the very last day. I love to get there by Sunday, but also have my work Christmas party tonight. Feeling calm and confident, not stressing. Thanks, Gina and team. I can relate. So I have been on a mission. I've been through the whole menopause thing.
Starting point is 00:18:34 I've been through a lot of stress. I've been through a lot of mismanagement of my stress and whatnot. And it caused my weight to go up over the last couple of years. And I have been really on. I've been going for my walks, I've been doing my workouts. I've been really, I stopped drinking alcohol. Not that you have to stop drinking alcohol to lose weight, but for me, it was messing with my sleep and not helping me with my stress and motivation and other things. And my weight is down. It's not about my weight,
Starting point is 00:19:02 it's, but I'm finally feeling like, okay, I feel like I'm back to feeling like myself again. And then I got to a really good place, better than I felt in a really long time. And then of course I went to the, the women's top 100 gala that I had like a dinner the next day. Then I had something else come up and then I was like tired and then I didn't do my thing. And then I like fell like off and then I'm back and now I'm like back again. And I, I I've been, I've had some stress this week. I got something going on with one of my kids that's been stressful. And so every night I've been like, I'm going to drink wine. So the other night I was like, I was going to drink wine. I came home, I had a stressful day at work. I had a stressful day with my, with my kid. And I was like, I had an appointment. I came back and
Starting point is 00:19:43 I'm going to open up wine. I deserve back and I'm going to open up wine. I deserve it. I'm going to have it. And then I tried to open it, but my, I have, I have one of those powered corkscrew openers and it didn't work. And now the wine bottle sitting there with the, you know, the cork half in half out. So I didn't drink it. I ended up going walking on my treadmill, my treadmill instead. So I went on my walking pad instead. And then by the time I walked it out, I felt much better. Uh, yesterday I was like, uh, not feeling hot, like good at all, not feeling good at all. I was also supposed to go out. I bailed on that. Cause I just like, at some point I went and had a shower in the afternoon and just couldn't like get out of bed. And then I was like, okay, once I made a decision to stay home I was like I'm gonna have some
Starting point is 00:20:25 baileys and I'm gonna lie in bed I'm gonna watch Christmas movies that's what I'm gonna do uh and instead I got up so tired just didn't want to walked on my walking pad uh Tony's like do you want anything for dinner I'm like no I'm having baileys for dinner and uh he ordered me some food kids had some pho they wanted some hot soupiness they love pho and um so he got me some food. Kids had some pho. They wanted some hot soupiness. They love pho. And so he got me like this fresh roll, whatever. So I walked on the walking pad. I finally had something to eat. And then afterwards I'm like, well, shit, now I don't even want to have the Baileys. But so I, today I'm feeling much better. I'm really proud of myself. My whole point in this is I'm supposed to go out for dinner tonight and I feel good. My weight is down. I, I, you know, I feel like I'm in a good,
Starting point is 00:21:09 I feel like I'm in it. So my point is the little things that I did kept me going. And now I'm really proud of that, but I'm faced with a dinner out tonight and it's a late dinner. And I know if I go and eat, there's going to be a little bit of saltiness and a little bit of whatever. Um, this is life. The stress is never going to stop. We don't want you ignoring social situations. But the little things that we're doing, like what would have made it worse is if I would have had the wine and no one would have blamed me. And if I would have had the Baileys last night, no one would have blamed me.
Starting point is 00:21:40 And then I went out for dinner tonight. That would have just made the whole thing worse. So the little things that you're doing each day will create the wiggle room or create the space for you to still enjoy life like the Christmas party today, right? So, so the lesson here is go have the Christmas party, make choices that make you feel good, right? You want to feel great at the party. You also want to feel good the day after. So just because you have the party tonight or tomorrow doesn't mean that you have to keep the party going all week. And
Starting point is 00:22:08 the little things that you're doing are going to make wiggle room for that and also help keep you on track. This is life, right? So this is life. There are those moments that you get off track because things in life happen or you choose to celebrate or whatever. That's all part of the weight loss journey. So you going and maybe that'll stop you from reaching your goal or maybe it won't. Maybe you'll realize that your efforts that you put into this week will actually lead to the scale being down even with some indulgences tomorrow night, right? But here's what I want the most for you. I want you to enjoy your Christmas party.
Starting point is 00:22:42 Enjoy your Christmas party tonight. Have a great time. And enjoying doesn't necessarily mean eating all the things or drinking all the things. Enjoying means going there and feeling fantastic because you're at your lowest low today, right? Like you're at your lowest low today. You feel great. Grab onto that feeling and then make choices that make you feel really good. I love this for you. Feeling calm and confident, not stressing. That's where we want to be. That's where we want to be. Feeling calm and confident, not stressing. That's where we want to be. That's where we want to be. Feeling calm and confident, not stressing. That's the whole vibe I want everyone to go forward with, with the holidays. Hi, Suzanne Rowling, our last live this program. It wasn't what I expected, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. This. You have done it perfectly. You showed up in the way that you showed up. There's a lot of lessons in that. You should be proud of yourself if you are still here listening to this today, regardless of what happened on the scale. The scale has never been, never will be a measure of success. Sometimes
Starting point is 00:23:35 it is just making it through hard times in our lives and not making the situation worse. If you didn't gain weight over the last three months and you've been dealing with a really stressful situation in your life, that is huge. The living method, yes, we're all about losing. We're all about losing as much as possible, as much as possible, as quickly as possible in a healthy way. But sometimes the living method is about just getting through your life and maintaining your weight. Sometimes the living method is getting through your life and not gaining weight. Sometimes the living method is getting through life and not gaining as much as you would have. Right. And we don't talk about that enough, but that that's a non-scale victory. Even if you, you did this program, you hung on by the skin of your teeth, your weight went up, you had some stressful situations, health issues, whatever
Starting point is 00:24:17 you had going on could have been a lot worse. It would have been a lot worse if you haven't been doing the things that you have been doing. right? So every single person deserves to celebrate the fact that they are still here at this point. It wasn't what I expected, but it turned out to be exactly what I needed. I needed to refocus and reframe my why. Thank you, Gina, Dr. Beverly, Dr. Dina for helping me do that. I have lost seven pounds since attending the National Women's Show and talking with these three lovely and caring women. The tools are there. All we need to do is access them and actually use them. Intentions, actions, success. Yes, this. You have learned a lot. You've acquired skills. It's just a matter of practicing, practicing, practicing. The way our brain is wired, right? It just pulls us back
Starting point is 00:25:02 and do the way we know. The body loves what we know, what we're used to. That's why we're trying to get the body used to a new set point, right? That's why we're trying to shake things up each week because the body's gotten used to what it's used to. And just because it's used to that doesn't mean that's the way it needs to be. I hope everyone has a safe and very happy holiday season. See you in 2026. 2026!
Starting point is 00:25:25 Oh my gosh! you in 2026. 2026. Oh my gosh. Wait, 2026, 2025, 2025, unless you still plan on being here in 2026. Oh my goodness. Good morning. Home and can't believe I'm watching the last live. Where did the time go? Did I not tell you? Right? The last four weeks of the program that just flies by as does life. Life just flies by. Next thing you know, you're here. And when you're doing the small things day in day out consistently, man, they add up. They add up. Hi, Kim. This fourth program is definitely a journey of discovery for me. After losing 42 pounds, I wasn't sure what direction I wanted to go. This program, I did things I haven't done thus far. Paused the program, went on vacation, started to introduce more of the bites of bits. My weight fluctuated the same three to four pounds and on the same weight I was when I started 89
Starting point is 00:26:21 days ago. This is fantastic. This is great. You know what you've learned? You've learned you can maintain your weight. That's really exciting. I learned to trust myself more and I see the bigger picture. I'm not telling myself I didn't lose a pound this program. I'm celebrating that I didn't gain anything this program. Yeah, which means you maintained. Maybe for you to move forward and have trust that you can actually lose your weight in a sustainable way, you need to experience being able to sustain and maintain your weight. Sometimes the living method is just maintaining while life is happening, right? That's a great thing. What have you reinforced? You've reinforced the belief that one, you can lose the
Starting point is 00:27:02 weight and two, you can live your life and be able to maintain and sustain your weight, that you have the skills in order to do that. So I don't know what your plan is next if you're coming back to lose more weight, but now you know you can lose more weight and you're going to be able to maintain and sustain that. Sometimes the closer we get to reaching our goal scares the shit out of us because we've been here before. We've lost our weight before. It's not it. The problem isn't losing for weight before. It's not it. The problem isn't losing for some people, it's maintaining. And maybe you just can't stomach gaining it all back yet again. And so you have proved to yourself that you have the tools and you've lost your weight in a way
Starting point is 00:27:35 you can maintain. That's it. Just being mindful. And the trade-off of being mindful is you can live a happy, healthy life with a little effort of being mindful and trusting and being in tune, right? It's a game changer. You might actually be able to leave your weight loss journey in your past and be able to move on for the rest of your life and focus on living your life and just know, you know what you need to do to be able to maintain your weight, not control your weight, not moderate it, nothing. Just live your life, being in tune. I love this for you. Sad. This is the last live this year. I wish all the losers a happy holiday season. See you in January. I know, right? I know. But an opportunity for us to test
Starting point is 00:28:18 out our skills. I hope everyone has a fantastic holiday. Again, calm, no stress, all of that. I started listening to the Gabby Bernstein podcast recently, and I've seen the power of manifestation transform my life. I love her. Gabby was also one of the people that I would listen to when I was in that part of that phase of my life, that season of my life, my broke ass, didn't know what I was going to do. Oh man, what a hot mess I was. Probably dealing with a lot, some mental health issues, a lot of stress, a lot going on. I listened to The Secret Every Day, Gabby Bernstein. I came across one of her books. I can't remember which one. I have a few of her books. That was a real
Starting point is 00:28:58 aha moment or I wouldn't say aha moment. That was a full circle moment for me when last year I was at the Auric Living. I was at the Auric Living conference and I got to interview Gabby and I shared the same stage as Gabby. And she was one of the people that I looked up to, someone who had been through a lot in life and turned their life around and then used their, you know, their knowledge and passion for helping other people. I think she's great. I think there are a few people out there who I follow and think are pretty fantastic. And this is why I'm excited about signing up for the masterclasses I signed up for last night, because I want to actually take the time and search out other inspiring people. It's interesting. I, I, I,
Starting point is 00:29:42 we put out some ads recently cause we want to tell the world about the program. And this morning I had a woman, it was a dragon's den as seen on dragon's den. We're really proud of the fact that we're on there and it provides a certain credibility of the living method. Um, and obviously we were very successful on the show and, and a woman was like, why do they need more money? Right? Obviously they're successful. And I'm like, yeah, we're successful because we run a successful weight loss company. Do you not want to lose your weight from a company that's successful, and ethical, and honest, and affordable, and accessible, and doable, and sustainable? Also, what's wrong with being successful? Doesn't everybody want to be successful in their lives? But I also have a hard time understanding what is so wrong with wanting
Starting point is 00:30:32 to seek out help. Everyone who signs up for my weight loss program is seeking out help and knowledge that I have to share. What's wrong with me seeking out knowledge of someone who knows more about business than I do. So there's nothing wrong with wanting to better yourself and seeking out people who have done what you want to do. I modeled, so I modeled my whole business model that, so Gabby Bernstein, and she's got a group of friends back in the day, um, Chris Carr, Marie Forleo, I saw what these women were doing. And so first of all, after my, after my of all, after I divorced from my husband and I was left with nothing, I took that opportunity and was like, what do I want to do in my life? If I
Starting point is 00:31:14 have to restart my life over, what do I want to do? And I'd always been working in television, but my waitressing job to working in television was helping people lose weight. It's something I had always done. And my mom had brought up a box of photographs and in one of those albums was an old flyer from the GNFC, the Gina Nicole Fitness Center. It was a flyer that I made up when I was 10, when my friend and I like painted our basement and made up, it was a fleeting business, but we were like, we're going to help people get fit and be healthy. And I had a moment where I was like, wow, my waitressing job, my side gig is really where
Starting point is 00:31:56 my passion lies. I love being on TV. I love about, I love talking to people and entertaining people, but my passion is really helping people lose weight. Not in personal training, the fitness side of that, although I respect that, it wasn't in that. It was really helping people make change in their lives. And I was like, what am I going to do? What do I want to focus on? And in that moment, I was like, I want to be this.
Starting point is 00:32:18 I want to help people lose weight. There's a lot of other things I could do. And at that time, people were adding everything to their names. I'm a personal trainer, wellness guru, weight loss, blah, blah, blah, this, you know, most wonderful person in the world. I was like, I want to do one thing and get really, really, really, really good at it. And that's where I decided I wanted to become really, really good at weight loss. And so as I was trying to dig myself under this hole that I was in, I watched Gabby Bernstein start to build her business. And she was offering a course, a BB business that was like, I don't know, $6,000. I could not afford it. I could not afford it.. I clicked on every bit of free information I possibly could to learn as much as I possibly
Starting point is 00:33:09 could about what they were doing and why. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. You don't have to reinvent the wheel. And so Gabby Bernstein was part of my business model, right? Like talk about what I love, share it in ways that are going to be helpful for people. And, you know, so whether, so whether you are, so whether you are, you know, looking for experience in a business that you're building, or like, I wouldn't get on a horse without taking some horseback riding lessons. Although I am going to get on a horse in the next couple of weeks. Hopefully they'll have some lessons there. But you know what I'm saying? I wouldn't buy a horse and start riding a horse on my own. I'd maybe take some lessons first. Right. So, so there's something
Starting point is 00:33:48 to be learned in, in seeking out knowledge from other people. So I love, I love, even though I'm really good at weight loss, there are some other books, the James Clear book, um, Sandra Elia's book about, um, Sandra Elia's book, Never Enough about food addiction. Mel Robbins book, her high five or her new book, Let Them. So you know, there's nothing wrong with being inspired by other people. I think when you stop wanting to learn and grow, that's problematic. So where I'm going with this is whether it's The Secret, or whether it's Gabby Bernstein, or whether it's whatever, there's a lot of there's a lot of learning in the Libby method. And you can supplement that with a lot of the other great people who are out there having similar conversations that are going
Starting point is 00:34:32 to support your weight loss journey. One of the things that you can do over the break is maybe buy some of those self-help books or start listening to some of those podcasts, right? It's a great idea to listen to other people. There's different perspectives and way in. So, so when you're saying, okay, there's bits of that where I'm like, oh, I, it's a great compliment to the program, right? There's a lot of people out there saying some really great stuff. Thank you to the community for making me feel like I'm not doing this alone. I wish you all the success and best time during the break and into the future. Sandy, I love this.
Starting point is 00:35:07 We have got to take a hot second or a few minutes or five or 10 to celebrate our community and to thank each and every one of you for being part of it. The person who comments every day and the person who has never made a comment, you are all welcomed and part of our community. When I set out to create these Facebook support groups, I wanted a place where people could ask questions. I also wanted a place where people felt like they weren't alone. Believe it or not, I am not the coolest person and I felt very alone in my life. I wasn't the most popular person. I was always rooting for the underdog and
Starting point is 00:35:41 sometimes aligned myself with the person that wasn't most popular. Not an easy route to take, but I believe it's made me the person I am today. And because I didn't feel so welcome sometimes, because I felt on the outside a lot of my life, I wanted to create a space where everybody felt welcomed regardless of what. I worked very hard to create a safe space that a lot of people told me would be impossible. And I'm so happy that we proved those people wrong. Every single person who said it would be impossible to maintain a safe space for people. And I don't want to say positive because I used to say a positive safe space, but I realized
Starting point is 00:36:19 that I didn't want to buy into the toxic positivity where you only could share fun things, only say happy stuff. I wanted a place where you could show up when you were sad and you were mad and where you can ask for support or feel like you weren't alone in your feels. I wanted a place where we could validate our feels. I also know, and I've experienced this, you can live in a house full of people and feel alone. You can live in a house full of people. You can have some really great friends and still feel alone if you are trying to accomplish
Starting point is 00:36:55 something that people cannot relate to, people in your life cannot relate to. And so I just want to, it's the thing that I am most proud of in life is our incredible community. Hands down. It's the thing I am most proud of in life is our incredible community. Hands down. It's the thing I am most proud of in life. And I also recognize that it's not because of me. I am the facilitator of this community. I provide the space, but you provide the community.
Starting point is 00:37:17 Each and every one of you, you make the community. The person who is vulnerable and shares the hard things, the person who asks the question that maybe you think is silly, but other people have the same question, the support that you share when someone else is being vulnerable or someone else has questions. Those of you who are sharing where you are at in your journey, those of you who are sharing when you are struggling, those of you who are sharing when you're doing great, that gives us hope. The community is just, it's my favorite thing about the Libby Method. And studies do show that when you do something where you are part of a community, you are more likely to be successful. So I just want to thank
Starting point is 00:38:01 each and every one of you. I know you may have heard if you've been listening to the lives and thank you to the people who have never made a comment, who always show up at the end and thank the people who do. Because when you ask a question, chances are there are hundreds, if not thousands of other people who have the same question. And so I just I'm in love with the the the Libby method community and how it all works together. So I, I, I too, along with Sandy want to thank, thank the community for making me feel like I'm not alone. Um, there are, there have been moments in my life that have been a real struggle for me. I'm back in another situation. It seems like it's never ending. That makes life hard. It's hard to show up in life. And I show up every single day because this is a safe place for me to do that. So I also want to say beyond someone trying to lose weight, the community,
Starting point is 00:38:56 you have made this a safe place for me to show up every day and share in the best ways that I know how. I'm not perfect. There's a lot for me to learn. Learn about weight loss still. Learn about supporting people still. Learning about presentation and how I can better communicate the things that I want to say and better communicate the knowledge.
Starting point is 00:39:17 Definitely not perfect, but I stand up here every day doing my best with the pure and soul intention of really truly helping you reach your goals in a way that you get to move on from weight loss. So you can start doing other things in your life and put that kind of time and energy and money even into other things. So thank you for making this a safe place for me as well. I enjoy sitting up here every day. I just, it, it is the best feeling in the world to be able to talk about what I love and it's not lost on me that I get to do that. And
Starting point is 00:39:44 I get to do that because of you, because of you. So thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I probably should end on that note. But I see some more questions. So I'm going to see if I can answer a few more. I do want to talk about the end of the program.
Starting point is 00:39:59 I want to talk about the fact that you still have access to the information. The app will turn into a general tracker. You will not have the Livi AI, but you still have access to the information. The app will turn into a general tracker. You will not have the Livi AI, but you'll have access to the information in terms of using it as a general tracker in between groups. And if you're moving on to maintenance as well. Right now, the lives are all still available as podcast over on our Livi Method podcast. I shared earlier on a few weeks ago that we might be putting those behind a paywall. They will be included with the purchase of the Livi Method, but for anybody else listening, the Livi Method podcast, we're going to put that behind a paywall. So people will have to pay to access that information if they are not doing the
Starting point is 00:40:41 program. We will still have our Way and Regina podcast, but nothing has changed there yet. So you'll still have access to all of the podcast if you want to download and listen to any of those. A great place to find us during the holidays, although we don't really answer program related questions, not to say that we don't answer, but we can't really guarantee a response over on our social media platforms, just because it's, it's, it's, there's so much that we get behind there. And our team that does our program specialists here don't work in social media, but you can keep up with where we're at, what we're doing. The team in social media plans on sharing some posts and some tips to help keep you motivated throughout the holiday. So
Starting point is 00:41:25 whether it's Facebook or Instagram, we're also on YouTube, Pinterest, there's a ton of recipes and fun stuff over on Pinterest. TikTok we're working on, but you can find us over on social media accounts. So if you're looking for us, you'll be able to find us. Also just one last reminder, and I know I've said it a lot, but prices are going up in January to $99. And if you know anyone who wants to get in before that, save a few bucks, even at 99, it's a huge deal and deal. Don't stress about the price because we are going to continue to have our early bird specials. So if you're going to come back with us and you have some programs to do, we will be offering the early bird. So you'll be able to get in at that price. So you don't have to worry about that. It doesn't, it's, it's not for you. So don't worry about that, but please tell your friends and family
Starting point is 00:42:13 and consider yourself informed. Uh, let me go scroll down here. I have to confess that I did this program half ass and gained weight. I ended last winter program down 12 pounds. I am finishing this third round down a total of two. Good for you. So basically I gained 10. I'm looking forward to January's new program so that I can put 2024 behind me and start over. We'll be going through the 20 questions so that I can see where I need to make change. We'll go in with fresh eyes as I didn't do that for round two or three. Man, I have so much respect for you, Nicole. I'm glad that I took another minute to answer another question. I have so much mad respect for you for not giving up on yourself for also recognizing the living method
Starting point is 00:42:54 is an amazing program. It is the program that you want to do to reach your goals. It is going to get you there. I would imagine, and I'm going to say to you, there are probably reasons why you half-assed it. I don't know if that's the best word to use, half-assed it. There are probably reasons why you didn't do more, you couldn't do more. And especially when it comes to capacity, sometimes with everything that we have going on, sometimes it's also you need a minute to work through some things that you need to work through, maybe some uncomfortable feels, some subconscious thoughts. And here's what I can tell you. What you've been through, you needed to experience in order to be able to move past it and reach
Starting point is 00:43:36 your goals. You have learned. There's something to be said about learning what you don't want. Sometimes you have to learn what you don't want to be able to know what you do want, right? So there, there is so much knowledge and choice. It's not always about making the right choice, the perfect choice, the proactive choice. Sometimes there's more to learn by not doing the things or making the opposite of a good choice, you know? So I have so much mad respect for you. I'm excited for you. Here's what I, here's what I want to say to you. Reach out, take it day by day. Next program. I love the
Starting point is 00:44:09 concept of a fresh start. I'm, I'm, I used to be against a fresh start because I used to look at life as one big continuation. What I learned from Dr. Beverly, the clinical psychologist, Dr. Beverly, is that every night when we sleep, our brains go through kind of like a wash. This is why you can be raging about something at night. You go to sleep, you wake up feeling so much better. This is why we can continue to move on after great loss and grief. And your brain kind of goes through this wash. So we can let go of the things that no longer serve you and you can move forward each day. And so I used to be really against the concept of a French start, but Dr. Beverly has me believing the opposite. Sometimes a fresh start is exactly what we need. We need to be able to reconcile the things that we've been through and put things in our past,
Starting point is 00:44:54 not let it go, not let it go, but move forward from it, move forward from it. And there'll always be a learning lesson in it. And so I love the concept of a fresh start with fresh eyes, but you are not starting over. And I know it sounds cliche. You're not starting over. You are now doing it again. You have a fresh start to bring with you everything that you have learned. And I think there is so much value in missteps, in not doing the things, not doing perfect, in the uncomfortable feels. There's, there's so much, I think so many times we try to shelter ourselves from uncomfortable fields. And I think that's when we build resiliency. That's when we, when we, when we walk through that fire, we really understand,
Starting point is 00:45:38 we really reflect, we really see. And, um, so I, I know you're going to crush it. I know you're going to crush it. You want to know why I know you're going to crush it. I know you're going to crush it. You want to know why I know you're going to be successful and reach your goal because you've, you've come to this realization today and you know exactly where you are, you know exactly what you've been through. And now, now you will know exactly what you need to do in order to follow through on the next step on the next step. And this goes with everybody, no matter where you are at, your, your history is part of your journey. And there's been a lot that you've learned from it. And this is where you, you, you don't want to be afraid of it. You want to, we don't want to walk through that fire. That's how you're going
Starting point is 00:46:15 to get to the other side. So mad respect for you. Mad respect. Reach out next program, right? Reach out, ask as many questions as you need. We are here for you. That's the thing that I think is really underutilized is our amazing team of program specialists. I'm going to say it one more time. Please make sure you take the time to ask all the questions that you need before end of day Sunday. This is my last live.
Starting point is 00:46:35 I've enjoyed every single minute. Thank you for those of you who've been on the journey with me. I am so grateful and I appreciate you. I will be going live with Tony on Sunday at 10 a.m. It's something that we love to do. He loves to do. It's really him.
Starting point is 00:46:49 It's really him. He loves going through the survey results. And if you want to come and hear about the survey results and join in that conversation Sunday at 10 a.m. If you have nothing better to do, come hang out with us. I will see you then. I will also be checking in on the weekends as well. Thanks, everyone. Have an amazing rest of your day. Have an amazing weekend. Have an amazing holiday season. And I will see you back
Starting point is 00:47:15 live for our Daily Lives in January. Bye, everyone.
