Felix is redefining weight loss for Canadians with a smarter, more personalized approach to help you crush your health goals is here. Losing weight is about more than diet and exercise. Felix connects you with online licensed healthcare practitioners who understand that everybody is different and can pair your healthy lifestyle
Starting point is 00:01:04 with the right support to reach your goals. Start your visit today at felix.ca. That's F-E-L-I-X dot C-A. Are you excited? I'm excited. Hi, everyone. Hello. Happy last day of the program. Tony and I, this is Tony, by the way. Tony is not only my business partner. He runs the business side of the program.
Starting point is 00:01:30 He's also my husband. So we are partners in many ways. So if you don't know Tony, this is Tony. Make sure things get done around here for the business perspective, which is why he's joining me today to share some of the stats from the survey. So how many did we get? We got 10,000 as of yesterday. What?
Starting point is 00:01:50 I mean, not 10,000, sorry, 2,000. Oh, okay. As of yesterday. So 2,000 of you took the time to fill out the survey. I could not be more appreciative. The survey was actually Tony's idea. How many years ago? Like four years ago?
Starting point is 00:02:06 Since we kind of started. Yeah. So about four years. The survey was Tony's idea. As many of you have heard before, I was very resistant to doing the survey. I did not want to hear what people thought about the program or me. And I've come to really embrace the survey, love the whole idea of it. I want to hear everything that you think about the program, what you love, what you didn't like even. Those of you who were successful, I want to know why. Those of you who weren't, I want to know why, because we want to figure out how we can best support everybody and truly have the best, not just the number one weight loss
Starting point is 00:02:41 company, but the best weight loss company that actually really helps people lose their weight in a way that they're going to be able to move on. So Tony compiles the survey with the help of Ruth as well. As you guys know, Ruth Kane and our team at the University of Ottawa have been studying the Living Method too. So there's some information in there for them. There's some information in there for us. And I just want to say I'm super grateful for everyone took the time. It really means a lot. I know.
Starting point is 00:03:06 I know it takes a bit of time, takes a few minutes of your time. I know everyone's busy, especially this time of year. And there is still time also to fill out the survey, right? So if you haven't filled it out yet, you could totally still do that. How long are we going to keep that up for? I believe I set it as December 23rd. December 23rd. So you have till December 23rd to still fill out the survey.
Starting point is 00:03:25 So should we start or should we say other things first? Let's just get into it. No, let's just get into it. Okay, let's get into it. So this is some of the results based on the 2000 and something people. It's always really great to hear. I have not heard any of these stats yet. I'm assuming that they're good.
Starting point is 00:03:43 Yeah, they're pretty good. Okay, amazing. All right, and thanks for everyone joining us today. It's so great to have you guys come and hang out with us. Okay, let's go. All right, so as Gina mentioned, about 2,000 people responded to the survey. So this is a preliminary analysis of those 2,000. We'll start off with a little bit about the
Starting point is 00:04:06 members who filled out the survey. So, um, 91.1% of you who filled out the survey, uh, heard about the living method from someone they know. So this is about the referral and how important word of mouth is. And that was a key driver to obviously our growth. So 91%. So on average, I've been saying 93% because that was based on other statistics. So this is why we want to come up with a referral. This is why we came up with our better together promo that's going on right now is like, we're really grateful for all of our members. And we're like, how can we give back those who are sharing, sharing is caring. You guys know, I'm really big on that. I don't share anything unless I'm a big believer in it. When I find good stuff, I like to tell people about it.
Starting point is 00:04:49 So this is where we came up with our Better Together promo. So if you go to the website now and you purchase more than one program for a friend, for a family member, for a loved one, you actually get to save on the program, which I think is really cool. But also, we're just really grateful. I mean, this is why we want to do the survey, so we can offer a program that people feel really good about sharing. So that's really great, 91%. That's amazing. So most people know someone who's done the program before.
Starting point is 00:05:17 Yeah. I love that. 41.5% of the survey response were first-time members, 41.5%. Oh, I love that. I'm just reading Megan. I think we can do better than only 2,000 survey results. I think so too, but I just want to be grateful for what we have. But honestly, if you love the Libby Method and you're watching this right now, honestly, these surveys have been a game changer. We've made a lot of changes to the
Starting point is 00:05:41 program based on the surveys. I know it takes time. I think also they can win a prize pack, right? You can also win a prize pack. And if you didn't love the Livvy Method, tell us why. It's your chance. Tell us why. We love to fix whatever we can and improve the program. It's your chance.
Starting point is 00:05:59 All right. So 96.4% joined the Livvy Method to lose weight as opposed to solidifying and maintaining. Okay. Well, that makes sense. So we have people who do the program again to maintain their weight, but a lot of them are now shifting over into the maintenance program, which is cool. Okay. 84.3% identify themselves as someone who has been trying to lose weight for many years. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:20 And we kind of knew this. Yeah. We're kind of that last, last chance. Yeah. Yeah. Gina, where's the cat last day of the program she might she probably sleeping she might make an appearance who knows um and 8.5 report that this is their first weight loss program so first timers ever to
Starting point is 00:06:39 weight loss program we've never lost never tried to lose weight before like their first time yeah first time doing like it yeah Yeah. First time doing it. Yeah. You know, this is always, first of all, I love this. How amazing is that, that this is their first experience, not to toot our own horn, but it's, it's a great program to be your first diet. I love that. We, this happens every group. We find that unicorn person. I've actually spoke to a few people during our like one-on-one segments where
Starting point is 00:07:03 I have people come on a real people during our um like one-on-one segments where i have people come on a real people real journey or the old spill the tea segment that this was their first program i love that i think we got a lot of this too especially after the pandemic a lot of people gained weight in the pandemic yeah um okay demographics uh where are people from so 95 are from canada that filled out the survey and 4.2% from the U.S. Okay. Generally, when you look at the aggregate data from Facebook, we have about 90% from Canada, about 8% from the U.S. And then we're spread over like 50 different countries.
Starting point is 00:07:38 It's such a small percentage. I feel like if you went to the – someone was saying they love meeting us at the National Women's Show. I forgot so many of you got to meet Tony. Tony was at the Menopause Show and the National Women's Show, so so many of you did get to meet him. But I feel like this is, although we feel like everyone's doing the living method, we're like a little speck of sand,
Starting point is 00:08:00 a little speck of dust in the world. That's growing bigger. We have a long way to go to be the number one. We have a long way to go. We'll get there. We'll get there. Age of members. So guess the oldest member that filled the survey.
Starting point is 00:08:18 You told me before we got on. 89. Oh, I was going to guess 85. It was 89? I wasn't listening. Obviously. I wasn't listening. Obviously. 89 years old was our oldest member who actually answered the survey. Our last program was what, 92, I think. Yeah. Oh, 89. I love that. I just love that so much, honestly. Yeah. And then 36.8% of members were below 50 years of age.
Starting point is 00:08:48 36, yeah. 36.8. 30.92 were between 50 and 59. Oh, wow. Yeah. And 32.87 between 60 and 69. Wow. I think that percentage grew.
Starting point is 00:09:01 I think that percentage did grow. 32.87, to 60 is our program works really like it works really well for uh the younger demographic as well i mean that's a no-brainer but i think that by the time you are ready to do a program like ours do the work that you need to do you you've kind of had it with diets and you're just like okay i want to try something else i got we have quick fix diets when let's face it when you're young and you've never like, okay, I want to try something else. I got quick fix diets when, let's face it, when you're young and you've never done a diet before, it's a lot easier when you're young to do a quick fix diet.
Starting point is 00:09:31 So I can understand people going that route. However, us older generation knows what that ends up with. That ends up with a higher set point, making it harder for you to lose weight because you always gain it back, even when you're younger. So I think our our older demographic comes to us because they've tried everything else and they're ready to do it a different way that's why i think that's where we get that yeah and this is what surprised me the
Starting point is 00:09:53 most 10.5 10.4 percent were 70 and above but we filled out the survey so that's about 200 people oh that's amazing i love that i um i've worked with a lot of clients who are older. First of all, my, my vision of old is, is I always tell the story of this woman when I was working in the hair salon when I was like 13 and she was a hundred years old. It was like for older women. And I would put the, wash the hair and do the blue wash and the purple washes and, uh, older demographic for sure. And this woman who would fly in the door it's like the whole door opened and she would whoosh in and everyone's like oh hello she'd sit on her chair and sit cross legs and just gab away and she was a hundred years old and I remember being like wow like I want to be like that when I'm a hundred so you know nothing bugs me bugs me more than you're
Starting point is 00:10:42 just old deal with it like I can't stand that and I've had clients over the years that I've worked with where they would go to their doctors and their doctors like it's just aging or just old just kind of put up with it take a Tylenol deal with it it's the way it's going to be I it just like that bugs me that bugs me to the core so I love I love that I love that um also with my mom and not that my mom's old but she's 71 is she 71 or she's 72 71 is she turned 71 is it I think she's 72 I don't know mom if you're watching how old are you um but um she got into working out last year it's been about a year now she's been working out twice a week and she looks amazing I'm gonna say she feels amazing because she said so it makes
Starting point is 00:11:23 a big difference when you you know she's she's doing the program she's taking her supplements she still has like chips for dinner every now and then and she definitely is having fun but yeah I love that and it's not even about losing weight it's about aging right being really healthy as you get older so I love that love that love that okay 72 my mom's 72 72 yeah we knew it was somewhere around there you look way younger than 72 that's why we were tricked um all right so the next few uh are about engagement and satisfaction so 75.44 percent of the members who completed this survey check into the living method multiple times a day i love that yeah that's i mean that's probably a big part of people's success yeah the program i mean obviously um it's super sound but that we know that consistency showing up little and often doing the things you
Starting point is 00:12:16 can do we know that when people use the app and they check in they're more successful than people who don't that's because it brings it to the forefront of your mind and at least 94 percent check in at least once per day so we for the members that completed the survey that's super high engagement and to gina's point there is a lot of literature out there that suggests consistent engagement um with a nutrition program does lead to better results yeah uh here's uh barrel i tried to refer someone last night but it turns out she apparently tried it before and gave up after three weeks and proceeded to tell me how it didn't work for her. Right. I mean, three weeks, that's that quick fix mentality. So they'll, what they'll probably do is do a few more diets and then they'll circle back around and realize it's going to take more.
Starting point is 00:12:59 Also, this is where, this is where the conversation is going out there in the world, right? Like people are starting to recognize like quick fixes they just don't work and that quick fix loss although people do lose there are people who lose right off the off the top of the program um that quick fix that you get when you do those diets right away that's that's not a great sign of sustainability yeah now in terms of satisfaction uh so we have 72.4 percent that are very satisfied with the living method and 94 percent that are satisfied um either someone or very read that again so 72.4 percent are very satisfied okay and 94 percent are satisfied so that includes somewhat and very. Jeez, what more do people want?
Starting point is 00:13:50 You want to know the answer to that question? Yeah. Someone very sad. Do you think that's based on their results, the results or is that the program itself? It's probably a combination of both. Yeah. It's probably what the program brings, the value that it brings, but also how much they enjoyed it. And ultimately people
Starting point is 00:14:05 rate satisfaction on how it helped them so yeah i think it's a combination okay great good to know and so how can you say that percentage again yeah um 94 are satisfied either somewhat or very and then out of the very it's 72.4 are very satisfied very Very satisfied. Okay. Which is the height. And then the rest of the people are probably unsatisfied. Well, we had 0.9% that are dissatisfied, which was 16 members out of that. Did they say why? Did they say why? Well, that's the data that we probably want to look at. Want to collect.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Okay. Or the actual answers. Okay. Yeah. All right. Okay. I'm an active 80-year-old. Hi, Maureen. Hello. Okay. I'm an active 80 year old. Hi, Maureen. Hello. Okay. I'm 73 and doing the program and exercising regularly. I want good health as they age, right? I'm still here. Love it. Okay.
Starting point is 00:14:55 Sorry. I can't help it. This is what I normally do. So the next is about health and medical issues. So we had a question that asked, you know, what health and medical issues so we had a question that asked you know what health or medical issues you're you're currently facing um while doing the liby method 37 34.7 percent reports no health issues which is great for them congratulations to those guys uh 18.4 percent high blood pressure 15.7 high cholesterol 12.4 thyroid issues 10.3 missing gallbladder, 8.1% mental health challenges, 7.4% depression, and 4.3% diabetes. That's lower than I thought, to be honest. Well, these are just the people that filled it out. No, I know. I guess I just kind of like, it seems like we're all struggling these days with health issues. It's nice to hear. I mean,
Starting point is 00:15:43 those are big percentages, though. And important. That's those are important numbers because those that's what we want to help with. Yeah. I mean, it just shows that a lot of people are entering the program with a range of different challenges that they have to navigate through. Yes. And that also speaks to the importance of regularly checking up with your health care provider. Right. To see because some people, to your point, in previous groups had to adjust their blood pressure medications or their diabetes medications. Yeah. So it's important to stay in touch.
Starting point is 00:16:14 Yeah, know what's going on. Well, one of the things with all of those two, high blood pressure, cholesterol, thyroid, so what I want to do is make some posts specific to those health issues. Like I know we have the one on diabetes. I think I did the one on PCOS. I think I did the one on thyroid. So I'm working on those to kind of better help address like how or frame how the living method specifically helps. Because it's one thing to say, oh, it's a healthy way to lose weight. It'll help you with your health issues, but how and why, right? So that's one of the things i want to um add in there
Starting point is 00:16:45 yeah uh the next set of questions are statements about the living method and who agrees or disagrees so 97.8 percent agree with the statement that the living method is different from any other diet i've ever done 98 because we are different yeah we are yeah tony like tony tries to find other diets that are like ours. It's hard. I wish there was more out there. I don't want to just be the only one. I think there's more than enough room for everybody.
Starting point is 00:17:11 But yeah, we are. Yes. Okay. So crazy. So crazy. 95% agree with the statement, the Libby method has restored my hope in diets. Say that again. 95% agree with the statement, the liby method has restored my hope in diets
Starting point is 00:17:26 i love that i want to make dieting cool again but i can't say that out loud no one heard me say that because i i think my version of a diet is the liby method and it's really all about as a as you know prioritizing yourself you know nutrient-rich foods managing your stress your sleep but we need to come up with a different let me challenge the community to come up with a different word than diet let's let's come up with something else we are what iting i'm gonna go on a balala i'm gonna i you know what i mean it needs it needs a different word oh that makes me that's made my whole day that's that's the wow that's really great i love that 86.8 agree with the statement i was surprised in a good way by my success yeah because i think
Starting point is 00:18:13 a lot of people take ownership of their failure of past diets when it's it's not really them have like low expectations because of previous diets yeah they have low expectation that's true right oh looks good 49.4 agree with I lost more weight than I expected. Right? For people who don't lose as much, I love this. It's kind of like almost like 50-50. For people who don't lose as much weight as they wanted to, there are people who lose more weight than they expected. That's great.
Starting point is 00:18:42 Live it, lifestyle, healthy living. We'll have to comb through some of these. Something that's not uh 90 live it lifestyle healthy living yeah we'll have to yeah we'll have to comb through some of these something that's not been used before that's what we need and then we need to what do you call that trademark trade market 92.2 agree with the statement the living method is more effective than any other diet i've ever tried what's the number 92.2 that's so great read that again 92.2 agree with the so great. Read that again. 92.2% agree with the statement, the Livi method is more effective than any other diet I've ever tried. Oh, love that.
Starting point is 00:19:14 95.7% agree with, I have no need to try any other diet now that I've discovered the Livi method. Well, thank you. You're with us forever. Well, yeah, that doesn't make any sense, right? I think that's the biggest takeaway when you make it to the end of the program, and there's a lot of working parts to it, that you're like, what is everybody else doing out there? Like, this just makes sense. A lot of the Libby Method was created out of common sense. So that makes me happy. And the last one, 96.5% agree with the the statement i wish i had known about the liby method sooner yeah i know well you know about us now took me a while to get here took me a while to get here all right next one is non-skill victories will i always ask you
Starting point is 00:19:59 to guess what you think the top one was i always always like, like better and just more competent in my body or I don't know what the options people came up with these themselves. No, we, we gave them. Oh, I don't know what they are. Probably a better relationship with food is what I'm hoping. Something like that or more calm. I don't know. There's lots.
Starting point is 00:20:19 Yeah. Um, well, the first one was my clothes feel better. 70%. Oh, great. Yeah. That's they feel better. Yeah. Love that one. Close fit better. Uh, 63. Yeah, they feel better. Yeah, I love that one.
Starting point is 00:20:25 Clothes fit better. 63.4% fewer cravings. Oh, that's huge. 62.3% feeling more in tune with your body's needs. That was always a... That's not an easy thing to do and get to that place where you feel in tune. Oh, that's amazing. 51.4% improved relationship with food.
Starting point is 00:20:49 51.5% increased energy. And 49.8% better sleep. Oh, huge. Always great. That's making the world a better place. Better sleep. More people getting better sleep. That's making the world a better place for sure okay do you want to know what elements of the Libby method program are helpful to members
Starting point is 00:21:12 weight loss journey yes I do what do you think the the top thing is that was most helpful I'm gonna say community I'm gonna say the community is most helpful interesting okay well 98.4 percent report that the daily posts about healthy eating water nutrition weight loss etc were helpful oh good because there's a lot of them and i'm always like trying to rework it and how could we make it you know more digestible do they want more do they want less? Like, okay, that's great. That's good to know. I mean, all you really have to do, like, program-wise is read the guidelines, right?
Starting point is 00:21:55 Like, really, 13 pages of guidelines. The rest is just all about, like, leveling up your knowledge, right? And then we always have to stay on top of that as sort of things change. Yeah, so that was ranked as the top thing that contributed to people's success. And it reinforces what Ruth was seeing in previous surveys and focus groups is the huge amount of information provided by the program sets it apart from other programs. And that's kind of one of the key differentiation factors. Melanie's asking, do you have an average weight loss for the group? I'm assuming that you do. We do.
Starting point is 00:22:24 Okay. We don't have to do it now we'll do that at the end um 95.4 percent report that gina's chats with guest experts were helpful oh i bet 95 yeah those are amazing yes i can't even with our guests i love all of them um yeah there's i mean yes right guess it's like next level. Eighty nine point eight percent report that Gina's lives were helpful. Oh, that's nice. I love doing them, as you can tell, because I talk for like an hour every day. I'm going to cut down on that time a little bit, but no one needs that much, Gina. Every day. Well, I love talking. I love could tell i never get tired of it i don't know why and then i like then i walk away and tony and i continue to talk about it all day every day
Starting point is 00:23:11 yeah goanna um in terms of the resources so what resources were most useful to the members in supporting their weight loss journey resources you know how we provide so many different resources so many what do you think the top resource was? I mean, there's stuff like Libby Loser Spotlights, Program Specialist Profiles, Libby Method App, the Program Guide, Expert Guests. What do you think? I'm going to say Expert Guests again. 97% said keeping track of my progress on the Libby Method App. Oh, well, I was hoping for that.
Starting point is 00:23:45 I love that. We're working on a really cool feature for you guys. That's going to take your data that you're collecting during the day. And you'll have like a visual that pulls it all together at the end, kind of like the rings on the watch. Kind of like it same, but different. And which I'm really excited about. I'm hoping that's going
Starting point is 00:24:05 to keep people really motivated to see how your waters your fluids adding up throughout the day your your movement adds up throughout the day the tracking of your foods adds up throughout the day so what i want to do now like the app app collects great data i want you to be able to utilize that data um i also want to make it more motivating for you to use the app. So we're working on that right now. So I love that. I love that. 97%. That's amazing.
Starting point is 00:24:31 83.9% love reading about the Live Your Loser Spotlights. They thought that was super useful. I think it's a game changer when you read other people's story because they write it all themselves. We don't edit it. We don't pay people um that we don't like pay people um these are people who are legitimately sharing their stories their truth
Starting point is 00:24:50 and i think that if you if that's so resonating with people and the when i say about your issues and associations and your habits your beliefs it's your beliefs the beliefs are the hardest ones to change and if you if you see other someone else doing it then and you resonate with that you can do that and that's where you slowly start to change your belief that you can do that too and and you see yourself reflected in other people to me that's like this is why i like i'm so grateful for our guests that uh our members that take time to share their stories yeah yeah and similarly 778% said reading program specialist profiles, which is similar to the off-grid stories.
Starting point is 00:25:30 Yeah. Someone's asking about, do you plan to include an app used with maintenance? So, yeah. So what I've learned about designing an app, it's a whole back-end thing. We have a full-time team working on the app right now just to maintain and add new features. We are planning on having a maintenance app to go along with the maintenance program and a maintenance book to go along with the maintenance program as well. So we're hoping to get that done for spring, but we'll see.
Starting point is 00:25:55 I love you, Gina. Please don't talk less. Talk more, G. I love you too. more than diet and exercise. It can also be about our genetics, hormones, metabolism. Felix connects you with online licensed healthcare practitioners who understand that everybody is different and can pair your healthy lifestyle with the right support to reach your goals. Start your visit today at felix.ca. That's F-E-L-I-X dot C-A. All right. The next three are reading the questions and responses from other members, F-E-L-I-X dot C-A. All right. The next three are reading the questions and responses from other members, which, you know, speaks to the community aspect. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:26:57 You know, the next one is asking questions through the Libby AI. Oh, I love that. Sixty-eight percent found that they're able to ask questions on Libby AI. Well, we have more and more. So I don't even really promote this and we we're going to do I think we're going to do a how to make the most of Libby AI and so that's one of Tony's like that's one of the things Tony is doing is working on the AI how to level up how to make the answers more accurate there's a lot of work being done with the AI so I think that's it's going to be like you'll never beat coming into the group and asking a question having a real person who cares about you answer that question.
Starting point is 00:27:28 But for some things where you just need a quick response, the Libby AI is so easy to use. Plus, they're now working on where you ask a question and then it provides other resources and links like videos and posts and whatnot. So really working on that. Really working on that. The epitome of a real power couple. That's us, babes. That's very kind. That's very kind. I feel like sometimes we're a hot mess and just trying to figure it out. But thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Okay. The next question is, if you were able to pick the top thing that contributed to your success, what would that be?
Starting point is 00:28:05 And this is presented in the order of importance. So I think I mentioned this, the daily posts about the meal plan, healthy eating, water, nutrition, the scale, et cetera. That was the most important. Yeah, because that is what's different from other diets. You're just randomly counting, weighing and measuring, figuring it out, where ours is like daily guidance every day. Okay. Gina's morning lives no surprise is the second most then gina speaking with guest experts of course and then gina's daily morning check-ins
Starting point is 00:28:32 so the next three are about gina talking well that's one of the things i want to do yay but you know what it's you know for real though if you um if you were to go see my night i don't revision boards but i do like vision notepads. I have notepads everywhere. And five-year plans. I make a big five-year plan. And part of my last five-year plan that I made was I wanted to talk for a living. That's what I wanted to do.
Starting point is 00:28:54 I wanted to be done with paperwork and all of that and talk for a living. And now be careful what you ask for because all I do is talk for a living. That's so great. Yeah. Okay. The next is confidence in your weight loss journey. Also, I do want to talk about those check-ins because one of the things I want to do is make the check-in. How do you guys feel about making the check-in more robust?
Starting point is 00:29:17 Remember I used to do like those extended notes with the check-in? So what I want to do there is really have like a focus for those check-ins and expand a little bit, especially for our new members on the check-in so what i want to do there is really have like a like a focus for those check-ins and expand a little bit especially for our new members on the check-in so i want to make the check-ins a bit more robust as well this time around i'm just always so i always think that people don't have time they're like who's got time to listen to what gina has to say i know that's my own thing so yeah uh the next is confidence in your weight loss journey. So 32.4% are extremely confident in their continued weight loss journey. What? How many?
Starting point is 00:29:49 32.4% are extreme. Oh, extremely. Extremely. Yeah. So there's a different range. Okay. I was going to say, what? Yeah.
Starting point is 00:29:56 We got to do more. 41.6% are confident in their continued weight loss journey and 96.7% are confident. So either somewhat, very, or extremely. So 96.7%. Oh so either somewhat very or extremely so 96.7 that's good you have everything here for you to be confident but i know it's hard to be confident when you feel like you've done it before and then that's why i'm always trying to but that's why we're always trying to show how the living method is different than other diets to like instill that confidence that you are doing something different that's going to lead to a different result yeah all right how do members interact with the living method so this is like you know through the app through the you know facebook um what do you think the percentage of
Starting point is 00:30:36 people uh that use your cell phone to go to the living method app is i'm gonna say nine ninety percent eighty two point five percent oh use their cell phone uh through the living method app that's great and 7.3 use their cell phone to directly access facebook facebook which is also an app they're both apps they're both apps but our app also links to facebook yeah with that connection as well so well we're not up we're now at a place if you do if you do have any friends or family who want to do it don't want to use like i get people not wanting to use facebook although i love facebook they they finally took us off that probation thing by the way we're now recommendable which is really nice facebook we love facebook thanks madam love you so much but we can also understand why people might not want to use it um So the app is now at a place where you can just use the app
Starting point is 00:31:28 to follow along and do the program. 75.8% use the Living Method app and Facebook. So they use it in combination, which I feel is probably my favorite way to do it. 22.8% only use the program through the Living Method app, and that has gone up, that percentage, 22.8% only use the program through the living method app. And that has gone up that percentage 22.8%. Well, that makes sense. Cause we were missing thousands and thousands of people in the Facebook support group, because we can tell by the numbers, how many memberships were sold versus how many people are in the app. So that is, that, that is what I'm just looking at this.
Starting point is 00:31:59 Someone said the focus for the check-ins would increase the value. Thank you for saying that. Um, but this is sort of how we determine how many people we let into the group. And so this is where when you see us saying like there's more room. So when sign-up time comes, we check the numbers that we have and obviously the number of people on our team. We want to make sure that when people are checking into the Facebook support group and they have questions, they get them. And you'll notice you'll get an answer either within minutes or under an hour. We try to keep it under an hour because we want to make sure that everyone feels seen and heard when they are asking questions. So this is where when you see us saying, oh, there's more room,
Starting point is 00:32:35 you can still sign up. We take a look at the number of people who are in the Facebook support group because we now know with the app, there's a lot of people that choose just to use the app, which leaves space open in the Facebook support group but that's not anything i mean survey results like this will help us determine that in the future but we would we don't want to over promise under deliver we want you we want to over deliver under promise yeah so we that's why it's kind of a game time decision to see if we can let more people into the group when we do. That's what that's based on. Next question is on the podcast, the value of the podcast.
Starting point is 00:33:13 So 70% access the recordings of your lives and sessions through podcasts. I love that. Yeah, so you guys know I've been talking about that. So we're going to, um, eventually, um, we're working on it right now. Put those podcasts behind a paywall where you have to purchase the living method program in order to have access to them. And then people who obviously who don't, don't do that, they'll, they'll have to pay like a subscription service or something like that. And we're also trying to figure out how you can download those from the actual app itself, which is which is going to be make it so much easier for people to do that. So
Starting point is 00:33:50 you just basically go to the app, you can download it right there. And then you can listen to it later on, which I think is super cool. Okay, so those are kind of all the characteristic questions. And now we're into the weight loss data. Yeah. So all of 30 minute lives would be good. Five minutes for check-ins. Yeah. Right. Like, so that's the thing. Like some people want more, some people want less. It's trying to find that right balance. It's trying to find that right balance where someone else wants an extended check-in, right? How do I make hundreds of thousands of people all happy? This is why I lose sleep at night. Okay. All right.
Starting point is 00:34:26 So weight loss analysis. So out of the 1,956 that completed this, we have about 1,905 data points that were good. And 91% said they lost some weight. 91%. Great. Yeah. Good hope i would hope so we do run a weight loss diet right um 2.6 percent said that the weight remained unchanged that's great 50 people remained unchanged great and then we had six percent or 115 that weight increased oh that's interesting
Starting point is 00:35:06 that's the total yeah well that's as we know a lot of people do the program doesn't necessarily mean it's their season for weight loss so they'll do the program life will hit whatever and again these results we don't just want people who've been successful on the program we especially want people who feel they haven't been successful, and we want to know why. I mean, it's great. We assume people are going to lose weight. We assume all the best things, but what we really want to know is the people who are struggling, didn't follow through, didn't see the results, why, and what can we do to help you? So the total weight loss in pounds by members who lost weight was 20,025 pounds.
Starting point is 00:35:44 From the people who filled out the survey. From the people who filled out the survey. So I think from all the surveys, do we know? by members who lost weight was 20,025 pounds. From the people who filled out the survey. For the people who filled out the survey. So I think from all the surveys, do we know? That was an average of 16.2. Oh, that's 16.2 pounds. So people lost an average of 16.2 pounds, which is like that's one to two pounds per week is the standard of weight.
Starting point is 00:35:59 Some people lose a lot more. Again, it's based on how much you have to lose and a lot of other factors. But that sort of falls in line of the one to two pounds a week which i love that's great yeah that's the standard and for the first time members so we break it down between all members and then first time just uh you know because as you go on some people want to you know more solidify maintain yeah first time members out of 811 who identified themselves as first time. Oh, thank you. 97.2% lost weight.
Starting point is 00:36:29 I bet. 97.2%. That's great. 0.8% weight remained unchanged and 1.5% of first time members report that weight increased. Huh. Amazing. Okay, great. Total weight loss in pounds by first time members who lost weight. If you're doing the program, if you're going through a stressful time in your life and you would
Starting point is 00:36:45 normally gain 10 pounds and you only gain one pound, that's amazing. That's a win. Yeah, that's a win. Total weight loss in pounds by first-time members who lost weight, 11,600, and the average was 15.05. Have you ever done all the surveys, all the surveys, like the number of people who fill out the surveys versus the number of pounds lost like do you have a running total like we at this point we probably help people lose millions of
Starting point is 00:37:09 pounds like yeah i don't i don't have a running total i kind of stopped doing that running total but i know um when i last did it um it was over 300 000 pounds yeah yeah somewhere but it'll be more now for sure yeah third round and i find it's been uh different each round this time i lost right off the top as i participated yep lost a bit more at the midpoint and then my body has been so every every every you'll find like first time is really physical right because when you don't know anything about the program you're just trying to keep up with what the hell we're doing around here second time and now knowing the the physical part of it the foods what, what to eat and all that and how it works. Definitely more mental that second time around.
Starting point is 00:37:49 Third time around is sort of like mind body. And then I say after that, it's so individual. Each time you do the program, you have the advantage of knowing what's to come. But that doesn't necessarily mean it makes it any easier. Someone last night said, and I saw their question, I know the team will answer it today, was like, well, I'm nervous. I don't understand how coming back and doing the program again is not going to cause me to gain weight because of where they're at now, personalizing the plan and going back to that routine in the beginning again. And so just like any other diet, you want to start it and then
Starting point is 00:38:25 you know, follow it through until you're done. With the Libby method, you have to look at it as bringing your whole new body like if you still have fat to lose, you're going to lose it, you're bringing your whole new body physically and mentally into the process again. So it's going to work just as well each time, but chances are it will work differently. So if you had like, let's say you had 100 pounds to lose, and you did the Libby method, and you lost 20 pounds. Now it's like starting the Libby method again, but at 80 pounds. And then let's say you lose another 20 pounds, and then you do your next program. It's like doing the Libby method again, but with 60 pounds to lose, but also being more in tune to your body, having your metabolism even
Starting point is 00:39:06 higher. So, so each time you do the program, again, it's an opportunity to take your new body through the process. So if you have fat to lose, it's going to work just as well for you each and every time. It's just, it's a different experience because once you already know what to do, sometimes it's because you're confident. So you end up indulging a bit more the second time around, especially if you were really successful first time around, different stress levels, different seasons of your life. Sometimes people get stuck on what they did last program and they try to do exactly that the second program or the third or the 21st program. And that's not a good way to go because your body has changed.
Starting point is 00:39:45 So the things you did last time, chances are you're going to have to tweak when you're doing this time to address where you're at now. So I just, I love our program. It's super cool. Yeah, I could go on and on and on. Well, that's it. Those are the preliminary results. Hopefully we get some more trickling. I know people are behind. There's quite a bit of people still behind. Yeah. That will fill it out once they finish. But yeah, thank you to everyone that filled that out. This is some great data and stuff that we can use to continue to improve our program.
Starting point is 00:40:15 Yeah, really important. And thanks to everyone again, like Tony said, who filled it out. If you haven't, please fill it out. I know it takes a bit of time, but, you know, this is filling out the survey isn't like investing in yourself because we actually read the results tony does he lets me know what's going on and then we have meetings about what what can we do to better how can we keep people better engaged how can we make the app something people want to use every day how can we make changes to the program that are going to better support and ensure that people are more successful at the end of the day?
Starting point is 00:40:48 So this data from this survey is really important. I also do want to do some thank yous. Thank you to Ruth Kane and her team for their passion and not just proving the living method works, but now they're really focused on sustaining. And so we've, so for example, the maintenance program, Ruth has been in there studying and talking to our members about what is the secret sauce to maintaining your weight. And we've learned a lot. And this is where the maintenance program has been, has been, has grown from really taking that information and what do people need to know in maintenance.
Starting point is 00:41:21 So that has really helped with the program. But I think at the end of the day, we want to thank you for choosing the Libby method, no matter how you found us. I know I can speak from everyone behind the scenes. We feel really grateful for what we do. It's a great, it's a great, it's a work. Well, we try to be a good company for people to work for. We try to be an ethical company, but it's really great. It feels good to feel good. It feels even better to help other people feel good. So it's like it's a feel-good job.
Starting point is 00:41:50 We feel good about what we're doing. And if people didn't sign up, we wouldn't be able to do that. So, yes, thank you to our amazing community and everyone who's given us a chance and tried us out um and who've been big advocates we have so many advocates of our program who share it and spread it and uh you know tell everybody about that so thank you for everyone um who's tried our program who's in our program who's engaged with the program we definitely could not do it without you um our team our amazing team who runs it takes a team a village to do what we do here uh i know gina is uh the face of the program she's this you know there's the rock star behind it but there's a team
Starting point is 00:42:31 behind her that um we could not have done it without them uh yeah who is up here program specialists um we have some of them have been with us for years since the beginning of the program we have shift supervisors um who help the program specialists figure out where they are they also work on special projects like like we have a whole learning and training um that goes on with our program specialists there are assistant managers um managers of the program um there's there's quality quality control that make sure our answers are, you know, um, meet expectations are high standard. So we have people checking.
Starting point is 00:43:08 Yeah. There's a lot that goes on to make sure you ask a question and then you get a good response and that you're not missed. There are a lot of checks and balances in the, in the actual group itself. Um, there's who else? Then we have the social media production team who, you know, creates the amazing graphics and content and social media content, posts, all that. Yeah. We have our customer service team. Yeah, customer service team. To answer questions, get you guys into the group, resolve any administrative issues.
Starting point is 00:43:39 We have the tech team that fixes your app problems. Yeah. We have HR, obviously. Manages all of us. Man. We have HR, obviously. Manages all of us. Manages all of us, keeps us in line. Then we have, you know, the exec team. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:43:55 Sonia, chief of staff. Yeah. Yeah. Samantha and Bobby that keep you organized. Yeah. Allie. Yeah. Trying to get the word out to the world. And so there's a lot of working parts.
Starting point is 00:44:04 We have a fantastic team that we're really grateful for. Oh, Dad with maintenance. Oh, Dad over in our maintenance group. Yeah, there's trying to get the word out to the world. And so there's a lot of working parts. We have a fantastic team that we're really grateful for. Oh, Dad with maintenance. Oh, Dad over in our maintenance group. Yeah, there's a lot going on. If you're interested in working here at The Living Method, go check our website. There's a small little career section. Whenever we are hiring, we do post if anyone's interested in that. And then the people are amazing guests.
Starting point is 00:44:23 We have guest experts who've come on shared their wisdom and their advice and um their time honestly i'm trying to help people i can't even with them like even behind the scenes like our guests are people that really want you to be successful uh the time that they take it's just and we don't pay them the time that we do not pay our guests they are here because um they're passionate about helping people. And I would imagine they're getting a lot out of that, too. It feels really good to help people when you're in a service position or job where you want to help people make, you know, better their lives or whatever that is. I'm sure our community gives a lot back to them as well.
Starting point is 00:45:01 But, yeah, they're incredible and then our corporate partners um within us deep marine com mag um who've you know who uh generously sponsored those price packs yeah and you know who offer amazing products i love them it's feel good all around feel good all right something you can feel good feel good about something you can feel good about i hope you'll be back at the menopause show and the national women's show in Toronto. Yeah. So, um, we want to do more of that. We want to do more of getting out into the community, spreading the word about the living method. We're looking into other, um, opportunities. We also want to work on, um, a get together. I know we talk cruises and stuff and all that is on the roadmap, but something a little bit more local, accessible to more people, maybe doing our own type of event.
Starting point is 00:45:46 Next April is going to be, you have a fantastic, oh, hi, Ruth Kane. Hi, Ruth. It's 4 a.m. Hi, Ruth. You have a fantastic committed team who each have an ethic of care for members, an ethic of care for members. Most of all, a great community of members willing to support each other and celebrate every milestone oh ruth we know we love you ruth oh my gosh it's 4 a.m in new zealand she's checking in i love ruth ruth has just been like so when she reached out um so many years ago
Starting point is 00:46:20 she had done the program and obviously had a huge passion and wanted to study sort of like the online learning process of the Libby method, um, to be able to offer something remote. Uh, and she had this passion and I just, uh, I wish I could explain the feels. I'm like, I'll go into an ugly cry if I get into so much to have someone who see, I feel Ruth makes me feel seen, um, and what I'm trying to do. And then she's been able to back it up with data and all that, which is really cool. But having Ruth on board has given me the confidence to do what I do, knowing that someone believes in it so much. And then is it out to prove that it works as well has just been I can't even tell you how special that is for me.
Starting point is 00:47:02 And I know some of you got to meet Ruth at the National Menopause Show. And she's just like such a lovely human being, honestly. I wish there was a way we could pay her back. But we can't because that would be seen as a bribe. So we can't really give her nice gifts and nice things. And Ruth is very ethical. Yeah, she's very ethical. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:47:19 So too bad. Too bad. But we love her for that. We love her for that. Yeah. Ruth's commitment. she's she's incredible Ruth has actually talked to probably hundreds of you in all her hundreds of focus groups that she's done and I think Ruth probably knows our our members better than anyone else because she sat down and talked don't forget Gina really wants a horse. He's giving that. So Tony and I are heading out next week. We're going to go golfing. We're going to get away. We're going to go golfing. And the place that we're going golfing with
Starting point is 00:47:52 happens to have horseback riding. So my plan is to ride horses every day. Well, that's going to have to do because Santa doesn't carry horses in his bag. So no horses for you, sir. I love it. All the women women shows across Canada. I know. Can't find you in the group for some reason. Oh, someone's chatting to someone else. So a couple of things that you need to know, you will still have, so tomorrow we're not going to be here. I mean,
Starting point is 00:48:17 we might send some people in to find some stragglers or some last minute questions and whatnot about how to find us. Any administrative needs, codes, getting into groups, purchasing the program, go to our website, use the contact form. It's such an easy way to reach us. Or if you want to write it down, weightloss at ginolivvy.com. Get into the Facebook support group. There's a whole new Facebook support group for the winter program. As long as you are a member of this group, you'll be able to access
Starting point is 00:48:45 the information. So those of you who are, I hate to say working behind the program, we need to say another, those of you working at your own pace in the program who might not be finished yet, you'll still have access to all the information in this Facebook support group, but the new January group will have its new support group. So when you sign up for the January program, you get a code that you're going to use to unlock the winter program in the app. So it's the same app, but it's the winter program. You're going to want to go into programs and unlock the winter program, and then the countdown will start. And then once the January program starts, your app will start again. In between groups, your app is going to turn into a general tracker. So once you complete the 91 day program, the app turns into a general tracker. So
Starting point is 00:49:32 you can continue to track things like your fluids and your foods and whatnot. You will not lose any of your data. All of the data that you collected, your weight and all your stats and all that will be in the fall program. So it's always going to be there for you. You don't lose that. You just get a whole new fresh start in January. What else? Follow us over on the social media. We have a great social media team that's over there that we're going to be posting tips and, and keeping you up to date on everything going on in between the program. What else? Sign up, sign up for the program, uh, sign up for the program. You can head to our website. We have that better together,
Starting point is 00:50:10 uh, better together promo. I'm just reading this comment. I went to my family doctor this week and I mentioned I'd been on a journey with Libby, this Gina, this past year, her eyes lit up and said, Gina Libby, that was so encouraging to me that she had heard of the program and appeared, please. Oh, I love that. Love that. Oh, that's so great. Sign up for the program. We have a great better together deal. The price is going up, y'all. I know some of you are concerned about that, but here's what you need to know. Program over program, we're always going to give back to our members. So we're always going to have our big early bird sale. So don't worry if you're in the program now. Our increase in prices is time. It's not due to anything else. It was always on our roadmap. It's just time to increase our prices as we increase
Starting point is 00:50:51 the value and all of that. But we always will be grateful to our members and we will always be on a mission to make our program as affordable as possible, as accessible as possible, as doable as possible, hence fill out these surveys, and sustainable. We really want this to truly be the last diet that you ever do. So I think that's it. I'm totally procrastinating leaving because I don't want to go. But it's time to go. Last words? I think happy holidays. Hope everyone has a safe and happy holidays. Merry Christmas. And hope you guys get some well-deserved rest over the holidays. And we'll see you in January.
Starting point is 00:51:30 Yeah, exactly. Yeah. And please don't stress about the holidays. Wherever you're celebrating, whatever you are celebrating, please do not stress. That's the last thing that we want for you. Have faith that you have done the work and your hard work will pay off. You will be so surprised about how everything comes together for you when you are on your own and having to make the decisions you need to make. Even if you eat all of the things and say, just fuck it. Once
Starting point is 00:52:01 you get back at it again in January, if the scale scale is up it's going to come right back down and you will understand that all the work that you've done has made foundational change it's not fluff stuff it's not you've lost the weight you're going to gain it all back that's not going to happen you'll have to try really really really hard to actually gain real weight the scale probably going to fluctuate a lot and listen a little a little goes a long way. So you absolutely can enjoy the holidays and stay on track at the same time. Don't forget to use back on track when you need it. Don't have that all or nothing attitude, right? Don't go all day without eating and then overeat when you do and then go back to that
Starting point is 00:52:38 punishing mindset, right? So little things, set your intentions, end of day reflections, take some of the things that you've been doing each day, create a new routine for yourself. And what else? What else? I think that's it. You're going to do great. I'm not crying.
Starting point is 00:52:51 You're crying. I know. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine. You're fine.
Starting point is 00:52:54 Okay, everyone, have an amazing rest of your day. Have an amazing holiday season. We'll see you all in January. Until then, bye. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.
