Hi, and welcome. Hi, ladies. Hi, how are you? Hi. Good. I'm good. I'm good. So should we just get right into this? We're going to cover three specific topics. We're going to try to dive into them as much as we possibly can. So what are we talking about today, Odette? Okay, so got a few really interesting things. So two topics actually come right from the group from comments from the member. So the first one had me thinking, is it true that you
Starting point is 00:01:36 can have too much of a good thing? So we've been talking about mindfulness lately and diving into mindfulness. And, you know, this week, we're talking downsizing and what that means in maintenance. So this, I think, is going to be super interesting. Is it true? You can have too much of a good thing. And then we're talking superfoods. So are superfoods really super? Or are they just trendy buzzwords? I mean, we've all heard like, this is the new it food. That's the new it food. So I wanted to really dive into that. And then so not group focus, but something that I've been reading and following lately is that a major food manufacturer is marketing pre packaged foods like pizzas, sandwiches and pastas for those specifically taking weight loss drugs.
Starting point is 00:02:16 And they're saying that this is to help them fill in the nutritional gaps. So I want to get into that and what makes these foods, you know, any better than any other diet foods that had been out there before. That's really interesting. I got a lot to say about that. So let's go back to the first one. So is it true you can have too much of a good thing? So I was thinking about this, I saw a member post in there and, you know, is this, when we look at foods as healthy foods, like fruits and vegetables and everything really that we have in the living method and that we're eating now, are we using it as a loophole to bypass mindfulness and for eating more because it's healthy? So, you know, we hear members saying like, oh, I know I shouldn't
Starting point is 00:03:02 have the cookie or I shouldn't have the, you know, whatever the thing is, but they're okay to say, oh, I can have more of this because it's healthy for me. I can have more of the veggies. I can have more of the healthy fat, even if they're beyond that point of satisfaction. It's a healthy food, so I can eat more of it. This is interesting. I've had clients where I see people say like, I had a big salad or a huge salad for lunch. I'm like, nothing you eat should be described as big or huge. I think there's this thing I've seen lately on the interweb, volume eating. Have you heard of this volume volume eating it is people who are eating healthy
Starting point is 00:03:47 nutrient-rich foods obviously but because they're not as high in calories per se that they're eating like it's a way of eating a lot more food i mean it is kind of similar to what we do on the living method where we are eating all this good nutrient- foods five, six, you know, times a day. But I think there's a difference between that and eating in tune to your body's needs and then overeating a big salad just because it's yummy and overeating is overeating as far as I'm concerned. That's, I think that's where I stand on that. I'm not sure. Yeah, I feel like it is. I think we come across this. This totally brings to mind the whole nut conversation, the weight loss, when you start, like when the program starts, and people
Starting point is 00:04:32 ask about that limit of nuts, or they they kind of some people take that as a we can have this nut snack, this is where I'm going to indulge, I'm going to not eat at night, I'm gonna, you know, they're trying to be so strict, but this is like a loophole in the program. Most of them where I can eat as many nuts as I want, because there is that nut snack and we're supposed to eat to satisfaction. And I think that's where, you know, coming in tune to your body needs to be really important with that, with anything like, yeah, you can like a big salad. It depends. I mean, I think a Seinfeld, when you think of a big salad or a giant bowl that Elaine ordered from, from the, uh, the deli, I'll just have the big salad, but like it is, if you're still eating
Starting point is 00:05:14 that to the point where you're stuffed, you're not being in tune with your body and, you know, good food or bad food. I think you, you can have too much food and you're going to feel it when you do. Yeah. I think too much of anything is probably too much water, too many leafy greens, too many nuts, you know, like, especially I think of people who have like digestive, like Crohn's, for example, and diverticulitis, those, they have to be mindful of nuts and leafy greens. Well, now the research is saying that you don't have to necessarily be mindful of nuts and leafy greens. Well, now the research is saying that you don't have to necessarily be mindful of nuts and leafy greens. You just have to not overeat them. So I think whenever you, and I know everyone's a little different, people can have food sensitivities
Starting point is 00:05:55 and triggers, but yeah, I think too much, you know, you eat too much. I saw a comment, someone was talking about, someone emailed in the group about, um, was it some, they were in, they had some kidney issues or kidney stones issues. And they were like, well, I need to tell everybody because it's, you know, I'm, it's, I'm having too many nuts and spinach and this and that and whatever. I mean, like that's just adding those things in your diet isn't going to cause you to have kidney stones, but you know, if you're overdoing it and you have some underlying health issues, that might be problematic where you're getting, you know, too much of a good thing, I think. Yeah, I think I'm in the same, I'm of the same mindset as you both. And even as Kim said, it's a loophole, like to bypass that mindfulness.
Starting point is 00:06:42 Like, oh, I'm feeling satisfied, but these are good, You know, these are vegetables. Vegetables are good for me. So I might, I can, I can have them. I can eat them. So I think, yes, I think that I think to answer the question, you can have too much of a good thing. I like this comment from Sandra vegetables used to be free quote on free quote free on WW hard to lose those old ideas of free passes food. I think though, the reason why this came about is because people like WW is kind of known for like a lot of processed foods. Like as long as you get your points in, you can get everything in points. And they were just trying to get people to consume more vegetables. Whereas with our program, you're getting in a ton of, you know, vegetables.
Starting point is 00:07:28 You can add them to breakfast. You can add them to lunch, afternoon snack, into the evening. So I think a lot of that comes from that mentality is based on those old diets where the living method is different in that sense. But I totally get how that sticks with you, right? Like the free foods, free foods. Yeah. Yeah. Go ahead, Kim. Go ahead. No, no, you go ahead. totally get how that sticks with you right like it's this free foods free foods yeah yeah no no I was gonna say I think it's not just food I think there's other things too you know they um
Starting point is 00:07:53 the sleep experts touched on it last week about having too much sleep too and things like that right like I was that was a new one for me having like too much. I, I don't have that problem right now, but I can see how just like physically there is like you get into that habit. Um, I know a couple of people that I have in my life. I know that that can be an issue with retirement when you don't have something to get up for in the morning and then you sort of lose that drive to really get up. And all of a sudden it's like in the wintertime, 10 o'clock in the morning and you're still in bed, but then the rest of the day you feel tired and sluggish because you didn't start
Starting point is 00:08:29 your day when you first woke up and you didn't do your routine. So I think there's other areas of your life where you can get kind of maybe too much of a good thing too. If you don't need it, you don't need it. Or too much sex. Sometimes you can get a UTI, you know, when you have that, right? Or have nine kids. Which is maybe the worst outcome. I don't know. Training, working out, like working out is a good thing, but there is such a thing as overtraining. So yes, it's, it's healthy for you, but you know, if you're just repetitive stress injury,
Starting point is 00:09:02 if you're doing something too much overtraining constantly tactic taxing your muscles. I think specifically when it comes to foods and portion sizes, I think it's sort of like, you guys know, I hate that word moderation. So it's not even about moderating the sizes. It's just really being in tune to your body's needs. And I'll ask clients, well, how do you feel about your portions? And they'll be like, if they, if it's too much, they'll be like, it's too, it's too much. Right. Or they'll be like, it's fine. It's fine. It's fine. So if you, you kind of know if you are overdoing it, whatever you are doing. And I think you instinctually know too much of a good thing is too much. Yeah. And I think, you know, like if you feel, if you feel full, it doesn't matter if you're full on, I mean, there is a nutritional difference. Don't get me wrong. But I mean, if you're full on cookies,
Starting point is 00:09:48 or if you're full on carrots, like that same physical, full feeling is the same physical, full feeling. Right. So, you know, we, we've worked so hard to learn what that feels like, what satisfaction feels like. Don't, you know, don't let the, the idea of it being healthy and good for you. And your body still needs,. And your body still needs to process it too. And with some of those things like raw veggies and nuts are great examples. Those you might actually have more of an effect at times because your body has to work so hard to digest them. That if you're just mindlessly always eating raw vegetables and nuts because you're like, oh, it's okay. I can have as many as I want because they're healthy.
Starting point is 00:10:24 But then you start feeling not great. And it could be just because your body's constantly trying to digest those things. Well, too many carrots will literally turn your skin like orange and yellow if you eat too many carrots. So I think we've decided that. We have decided. It is true. Yes, it is true. Yes, it is.
Starting point is 00:10:48 Well, now we know. Okay's what's our next topic well so the next one kind of leans in the same so we're thinking about um talking about superfoods like we talk about you know i feel like there's a new superfood all the time first it was kale then it was those goji berries yeah then the acai berries. I still can't even say that. You know, I think we can get so hyper fixated on these superfoods. And, you know, are they, are they, you know, miracle workers? Like, yes, they pack a nutritional punch, but are they superfoods or are they just a trendy buzzword? And do they get us to become hyper focused on one thing? And do we lose sight of, you know, all the other good stuff that's out there?
Starting point is 00:11:33 Are we, is it like, you know, when we think of fad diets of the past, are there these fad foods now? Well, it's the first thing that comes to my mind is like that meme that goes around, like, or someone, someone did a reel and, and, and I saw it going around where eating healthy now is a diet, right? Like we, everyone's eating so many processed foods, like, like spinach or kale or honey or chili, whatever that is. Is it like a super food or is it just actually a healthy food? And we've just now taken it to the extremes, right? Because like you have a salad, you simply eat a salad and all of a sudden someone's going to be like, Oh, you on a diet? Like, well, no, I just, I like salads. Like, you know, you eat healthy food and people, it draws attention when you eat healthy food. If you're at a whole table of people and everyone's ordering burger and fries, you will
Starting point is 00:12:18 order a salad immediately. Someone at that table is going to ask you if you're on a diet, right? How come you're ordering a salad? So I think the superfood thing is just um I don't know an exaggeration of that I think I think so too and I think that you know like I had said before everyone's they want to be not that they want to be but it's trendy right like oh I'm gonna have these berries over blueberries like blueberries in the in their own right are a superfood, but they're just they're not cool. Like they've been around for a long time. They're easy. They're accessible. Yeah, call it something else. Maybe then it becomes this, you know, superfood. So we don't want to discount all those other foods, because these new ones are, you know, being talked about or being shared on social media. I think that's where, you know, I think
Starting point is 00:13:01 bottom line is variety of foods have a bunch of them. And yes, some are more nutrient dense than others. But yeah, we unfortunately become superhuman from the superfoods. No, we won't. I think I know like for when that prior to working with Eugene, I used to own a juice bar. And we all know how everybody feels about juice. But the most popular thing, obviously, at the time when I a couple years ago was celery juice and celery juice is disgusting and everybody wanted just celery juice nothing else in it just celery juice and we would sit there and be like you don't nobody wants that and there was all of these benefits that were like touted for this discuss and celery is the most expensive piece of produce you can buy so like if we were like we're for this discussion. And celery is the most expensive piece of produce you can buy.
Starting point is 00:13:46 So like if we were like, we're not making everybody just celery juice because we would like not be able to keep business afloat with trying to pay for celery. So looking into it, it's really like, why are they saying celery juice? What is it about celery juice that why are people drinking it? And what is it in celery juice specifically that makes it and you could get all of these benefits from this whole range of foods. And then the thing is, is you if you're eating a balanced diet, like you are when you're following the Libby method, where you're getting lots of whole foods, lots of fruits and vegetables, and all of that,
Starting point is 00:14:21 you don't need the superfoods, because you getting all the things. If you eat shit all day long and you don't eat healthy food and you eat like nutrient boy foods, then yeah, the superfoods might help you because they have a few, they might be ones that are higher in some of these antioxidants or higher in these vitamins. But if you're eating a well-balanced diet where you're eating fresh fruits and vegetables, you're eating whole grains, you're getting a variety of proteins, you're getting all of the things that they're touting are the benefits of superfoods. So you're already eating superfoods by following the Libby method. So you don't need to go looking everywhere for a berry you can't pronounce just because they're telling you on the internet that it is what you need to be eating right now. How do you pronounce that? Acai, acai, acai berry. I think this is a full circle moment to the first
Starting point is 00:15:11 topic, which, you know, can you have too much of a good thing? I think drinking celery juice, that was all the rage. I saw Risa here is like, everyone now is after cottage cheese. Everyone's like eating cottage cheese now, which is like, okay, great. It's higher in protein, but if you, if you are sensitive to dairy, it's not such a super food. So I think that, I think it's, I think the upside is highlighting, you know, nutrient rich foods. I think that it's great to have a list of super powerful, you know, high nutrient value foods that are super healthy for you, like blueberries, all types, but it's not just blueberries, all types of berries. And I think when they do these studies that it can help lower cholesterol or help whatever,
Starting point is 00:15:54 that's not just blueberries. It's just eating healthy in general, I think. And so I don't mind, I guess the idea of super foods. Um, I just think we should just normalize healthy, nutrient-rich foods as opposed to any or super or, you know, I don't know. And on the other side, now there's sugar. It's so scary. Like today, I don't know. It just seemed like when I was online, everything I saw was how dangerous and scary sugar was. And yeah, okay, we eat too much of it and whatnot. But I just think some middle ground, just like these are good, healthy foods would be good, I think. And I think, you know, the upside too, is if it convinces you to try something new, you know, maybe you're going to try something new, you're going to try this new superfood. I'm not sure I'm going to eat phytoplankton
Starting point is 00:16:42 and crickets anytime soon, but no, I'm not. you know, they're out there and they're super food. I'm not, I can't eat chia seeds. Remember chia seeds and soba and they all get stuck in my teeth. And I, you know, I think, yeah, I think it's just like, not any one thing is going to make you healthier. Right. Right. So, you know, if you, if you make a list of the superfoods and you want to make sure you have some, you know, some, some kale or, you know, some almonds and you have, you know, I think people will be surprised if they don't even know what superfoods are that they've probably been like, to your point, eating a lot of them, just following the Libby method. Right. Yeah. And I think nutrient dense to me when I think superfood,
Starting point is 00:17:23 I think nutrient dense, and that's sort of, if you're making sure you have a variety of those things in your day, then you're getting everything you would get from, say, you know, that glass of celery juice, please. This is Jodi behind the scenes. You know, it's this like, let's just normalize healthy eating, right? And I'm reading this post from Valerie. Last week, I went out with a few friends and they ordered pizza and told me I couldn't order a salad. Enough with the diet. I was like, what the fuck? True story. Yeah, right.
Starting point is 00:18:01 And I think that's because it's like such extremes. I think that, you know, we're just like, there's just good, healthy eating just doesn't have to be extreme within it. Also, that's really fucked up, Valerie. You need to hang out with us more. Yeah. We like salads around here. Regular side. We eat green tea regularly. Valerie adds, I then reminded them I have maintained my loss since February 2022. And I'll eat what I want. Yeah, fuck off, bitches. Do I look like like I've been maintaining my weight? I'm fine. Thank
Starting point is 00:18:32 you. Thank you. But it's true, though, right? People think you're eating healthy. So you must be on a diet or doing something. It's so so interesting that all these, these, there's all these healthy superfoods, but if you are eating them, it means that you're on a diet and somehow not being healthy. It's really messed up. Yeah. Okay. Um, let's get into our last one. Cause I'm calling you sort of time. I want to get into this. Okay. Yeah. So I was, um, you know, I'm always looking at reading stuff online on the interweb like to call it. And, saw this news article, actually, it was a Canadian news source. And they were talking about a major food manufacturer is
Starting point is 00:19:10 marketing prepackaged foods to those that are on weight loss drugs. We've had the weight loss drug conversation around here. I think everyone knows how we feel about it, you know, that there is a time and place for them. But now here we are with food manufacturers, marketing specifically to these people, telling them we're going to help you fill the nutrient gap. So we've got pizza for you, we've got pasta for you, we've got sandwiches for you, they're healthier, and they're just for you. So I mean, twofold here. So are these companies, are they really here to help and fill the gap? No.
Starting point is 00:19:47 Or are they just, you know, trying to be careful that they don't lose out from these people who are taking the drugs? Or, you know, and are we in general swayed by healthier choices and healthier options? I mean, even one step beyond this, I know I'm going on and on, but there are fast food companies that have healthier choices, you know companies, and try to figure out how to make this food more addicting. Right? So there's that whole thing. But you know, if you, if you go down the rabbit hole of this conversation, this is, this is Nestle who's done this. They were also, they own Lean Cuisine, right? So they've been here, done this before. The Lean Cuisine, that's like so old news. So to me, they're just reinventing lean cuisine. So there's a couple of things. Remind, there's a great podcast with the diary
Starting point is 00:20:50 of CEO. And there's this guy who studied people taking Ozempic for a year. I can't remember his name, but I'll send you guys the link. It was really interesting. And the one thing about taking these weight loss medications is that they do cause you to lose weight quickly in which you're losing a lot of muscle mass. That's the problem with them. And when people follow a diet in general, so that's where you always hear this, you need to make sure you're getting enough protein, get enough protein, get enough protein. Because with diets, people are just counting and weighing and measuring. They don't care about what they are eating. They're just going for the lowest calories.
Starting point is 00:21:23 So they tend not to get enough protein. With the Livian Method, protein for breakfast, protein for lunch, protein for afternoon snack, protein in their nuts and seeds, protein again for dinner, right? Like people are eating more than enough protein at the end of the day. But if you take people, especially who've done a history of diets, and this is where a lot of people are having issues with menopause and whatnot, is that they've done these diets, they've lost a lot of muscle mass, so that by the time they're transitioning, their body is no longer, like has muscle to send its stores to, so it's storing fat in your fat,
Starting point is 00:22:00 as opposed to your liver and your muscles and your fat. So that's very problematic. And so that's the problem it, because when people gain their weight back, what's happening is they're gaining it back at twice the rates of people just doing a regular diet. So the, these food companies are smart. They know what people are afraid of not getting enough protein, not getting enough protein, not getting enough protein. And so to me, they might as well package it keto because same thing, right? So, so that's sort of where they're coming from with that. They're like lean cuisine is out. Our numbers are probably down. No one buys those anymore. Let's reinvent lean cuisine and promote protein. And right. What is this Jodi put from the article food solutions for people who want to complement their use of drugs with the right nutrition, high protein, good fiber and the right minerals like potassium and vitamin C.
Starting point is 00:22:53 Yeah. And then even further into that, into the article, it said we're offering foods like pizza and pasta. Like I wouldn't equate those to high protein foods you know like so what how how are we putting that education piece here at the same time you know I think they're bank they're banking on the fact that well you know this Odette right you've been you're sort of big on food labels and food nutritional value and I think people are don't use it it's not a derogatory term but a little ignorant when it comes to what's in their foods. People have like, you know, people have been asking us for a post on reading labels forever. Right. So thoughts on that? Well, it's I mean, yeah, yes, I have lots of thoughts. It's hella confusing out there. There's so much money spent on marketing. And there's so like, I remember
Starting point is 00:23:42 like I've been doing this and reading labels and doing nutrition for years. And I remember going and there was like a bag of apples at the grocery store and it said gluten-free on it. And I said, these are apples. They never had gluten in them. Like they never had it in the first place, but that's the kind of confusion and marketing there is out there. So when you think about that and you think about, you know, when they're writing, you know, trans fat free on things, which is which is great to help you make smarter decisions. But, you know, what else does that mean? Those are just, again, buzzwords and catchwords on these labels.
Starting point is 00:24:18 And I think there is so much confusion. And yes, they're going to put high protein on the box. But if you flip it over and actually see what's in it, you know, what, what is in it. So I think that's where it can be really confusing. And, and yeah, and it, I, you know, to, to speak on your word of ignorance, I don't even know if it's ignorance. I just think it's confusing. I think that's a better word. It's confusing. And, you know, you take for granted, like someone like myself, you take for granted, you think that everybody knows how to read a label. Like, it's just like, you know and you take for granted like someone like myself you take for granted you think that everybody knows how to read a label like it's just like how you know you just oh this is how you read a label but the marketing companies and food manufacturers they know that
Starting point is 00:24:53 people don't know how to read labels so they know they can just slap things on there and people just have to test it so they do that and it's it is I I have teenagers in my house so of course they're always it's something like my son works out to both my sons work out and they're always about the gains and what is it what is it um I can't remember what he said he's he's doing right now cutting for summer meaning he's trying to get lean or whatever and I'm like isn't he so he wanted me bless him he's like how old, he's like, how old is he? He'll be 16 tomorrow. Yeah. There was a brand that is known for their grains that is now sells a high protein oatmeal and a high protein pancake mix.
Starting point is 00:25:39 And you literally look at the label. And in order to get that number, to be able to put that number on the box for how many grams of protein is in it, the portions like doubled on it. It's like, it's all smoke and mirrors to do with marketing with a lot of that stuff. And that's what I've kind of been trying to teach them is, you know, you're getting a lot more protein just by making your own natural, you know, pancakes by adding whole eggs when you do it, by like putting some cottage cheese in it, adding some peanut butter on top of it, or some nuts in it and everything and looking at the ingredients being the most important thing. So
Starting point is 00:26:16 kind of clear that noise of how many grams of this and how many grams of that are in there and look at the actual ingredients you know what is what has protein in it you know we've got a list in in the group about what foods have proteins carbs and fats we know what contains it is this much of it is protein in it you're probably getting the rest of the protein from some processed foods and other things if that one item that has protein like eggs is at the very bottom of the ingredients list, it's not a natural form of protein and your body's probably not going to be able to use it the same way it can use real protein either. So there's so many other factors that come into play. Is it a fly flying around? Yeah. I have one in my bedroom. I don't know how it got in there.
Starting point is 00:26:59 My windows are closed. It's like giant. It's like a giant, I don't know, hibernating. It wasn't there all day until right now. But I remember part of researching for the Libby Method, I went down the rabbit hole of food additives and, you know, sort of what's added to our foods versus what's added, you know, to foods in Europe versus the U.S. And there was an interesting thing that I read on artificial flavor or color. And according to our standards in Canada, when you see artificial flavor on the package, that can include up to a hundred different ingredients. So it's not just like one tiny little artificial flavor. It can be a hundred different ingredients that make up that artificial flavor. And, you know, I saw Jessica in here, um, you know, talking about, it's confusing so many different opinions flying around as a former ad girl. I know what they are trying to do.
Starting point is 00:27:57 Spoiler alert. It's not good. Right. And I mean, this comes down to even sugar. Like you see those old ads for sugar. And I try, I try not to vilify any type of food. Like I'm not into like, I'd rather people focus on the good stuff rather than kind of vilify, you know, we know sugar, we know all the things that aren't so great for us. But I remember they used to, you see old ads and sugar used to like, they used to tell you that sugar is healthy for you and sugar is really cool. And you know, everyone needs sugar and all of that. And now we're all like, Oh my God, sugar, right. We're all going to die. So yeah, I think this is advertising. It's just advertising and, and, and playing on people's need to be healthy or
Starting point is 00:28:38 want to be healthy and need convenience. I think that's a huge part of it. Yeah. I think convenience is a big part of it. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I think it's their need to be healthy. And it's also a little bit of, of, um, this is, yeah, we could go down a rabbit hole. We, you know, when you think of these, when you think of these, um, you know, people that have had to take some of these drugs, they, you know, they could have been at the end of their rope, you know, end of their line, they really needed to take these drugs, right. And there's a sense of fear, you know, around where their health was at one point. And now they now they're feeling a bit more confident, they're feeling, you know, they're on this drug, they're getting healthier, they're feeling more confident. And now look, we have I have all these companies supporting me in this journey, right? And they just feel like they're able,
Starting point is 00:29:28 like they've, they're being heard now they're being seen now. And here I am. Yeah, I know. And I would love to believe that these companies are really looking to support people. But I think that they're just trying to make money at the end of the day. I mean, I think people who are taking these medications need to do a program like the Libby method to be in tune to their body's needs to know how to eat healthy and taking a pill, unfortunately, as life changing as that can be in life saving for some people who need that kind of assistance. It's not really this is the problem is that they will lose muscle. And if they're not eating the right things while they are taking these medications. And, you know, when they stop taking it, they will gain that weight all back
Starting point is 00:30:12 plus more. And I think these food companies know that and people are, they want to keep it off this time. They want, I think people want to do what's right. And if you're taking a medication that you want to have confidence in, and then all of a sudden a major food company is like, well, here's some food that's going to compliment that fly is like a giant. It's like, I'm always worried about my dog barking. I never think about a fly. Jurassic is so huge. Um, fear mongering cells, like look at the current climate, right? Like, I think that's what it, I think people want to make change and they don't know what to do. And they look, I think there's some sort of faith and trust, like people who took
Starting point is 00:30:58 lean cuisine back in the day, probably trust lean cuisine and blame themselves for not being able to maintain their weight. And here they are again. Okay, great. This is going to help me support this going to support me on my journey. I mean, this is all I did. The world needs to know about the Libby method. It really does. I think what an amazing place to be to feel empowered because you've been able to make change with these drugs. If you've been at the end of your rope, right. And you, you, the power that you have now, you've been able to make this change, and take it one step further by being educated enough to be
Starting point is 00:31:30 able to choose the foods that support that during and even after. So yeah, I would love to put out convenience foods for people to help them on their journey. That'd be amazing. But unfortunately, I think that you'd have to add additives in order to preserve a lot of the foods and whatnot. And it would have to be expensive and all those things. And that's why these big companies, you know, can make it more affordable for people. It's like supplements, you know, I would love to get into, like, if people are going to buy supplements, offer them a quality product, you know, and still not be a supplement. I don't never want to be known as a supplement program. But I know that supplements are beneficial. But you know, and still not be a supplement. I don't never want to be known as a supplement program, but I know that supplements are beneficial, but you know, my intention here on helping people lose weight in a healthy way and literally in a way that they never have to
Starting point is 00:32:13 pay me another cent every ever again is a lot different than a, these big companies sitting around publicly traded boardrooms. And all they're thinking about is how can we make more money? How can we make more money? They're not sitting around saying, how can we help people maintain and sustain their weight? Because they know that the people are the people who are keeping them in business in the first place, chances are, right? I do think it's a good sign that they're thinking about that. They're recognizing that these people that are taking the weight loss drugs need something. They're recognizing the importance of the protein, of the fiber, and of the nutritional needs.
Starting point is 00:32:50 So yes, are they trying to monetize it and capitalize on it? Yes. But it also goes to show, and I think to me, it always comes back to this program, to the Living Method, and thinking they're recognizing the importance of these things, which is really kind of supporting what we're doing here, that this is important. The nutrition is important, the nutrient rich foods, superfoods, if that's what you choose, all of those things are an important part of it. If they're putting those or saying they're putting those things and marketing things as being, you know, healthier eating, they're recognizing that you need more than
Starting point is 00:33:25 just these weight loss drugs. You need some lifestyle and some sort of healthy eating skills or focus when you're taking them. Yeah. I wonder if the, yes, that's a good point. I wonder if these, this company, if you go down the rabbit hole, it's the same company that makes Weight Watchers, low-cal bread and all the Weight Watchers foods that go along with it. The same people who made the keto brand of foods, right?
Starting point is 00:33:49 Like, is it any different than Weight Watchers now being a pharmaceutical company making pharmaceutical foods? Is it any different than being Weight Watchers and their zero-point bread or anything like that, right? Here's Rhonda. I used to have lean cuisine for every meal. Yeah. Since the living method,
Starting point is 00:34:06 I feel so much healthier and better and couldn't stand the thought of lean cuisine and all those additives. But that's the thing though, Rhonda, right? Like I bet you did that thinking that you were trying to be as healthy as possible, right? You're probably really busy. You got a lot going on.
Starting point is 00:34:18 You just wanted to package your calories. It was all right there. That was because you were making an honest effort to try to make a difference. And I think this is where those companies have the advantage is they're preying on people knowing that they want to make change, knowing that they want to lose weight. They want to maintain their weight. And if these big, big, big companies come out and say, well, this is what you need to do in order to lose your weight, sustain your weight, then people are going to buy in. I don't blame them. I don't blame them either.
Starting point is 00:34:44 Yeah. I mean, we're starting a new, we're starting a new food company. What are we going to call it? What are we going to call our food? What are we going to call it? Oh, that's a good name. What would you call ours? What was our, what would ours be you guys, if we had our own packaged foods? Oh, wow. That's a good one. Anyone waiting for, I'm waiting for members to weigh in on this. Yeah. Let's have them weigh in on it. We will put a poll out tomorrow and ask them. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:35:13 I don't have time. I don't have time for that. We're not putting out anything new. Oh, I just got to try to come up with this maintenance program first and then we'll get into our whole line of people are waiting. Somebody did worse. Patty Thompson, when we need her, she would have a name for this. Yeah, she would. That's right. Live your life. There's Ann, live your life, right? Live in a live your life. Live your life. Yes. I love it. Live your way, protein, live your way. That's a good one.
Starting point is 00:35:46 I love it. Yeah. Well, now in maintenance, you can have protein powder. So you're good in your protein shake. Live your way protein powders. I can't. We got to go. That was so fun.
Starting point is 00:35:54 Yeah, we got to go. That was good. I really like diving into those topics today. Like I said, the loophole for bypassing mindfulness. I saw that come up a couple of times in different ways, but I thought all of these comments are trying to bypass mindfulness a little bit here. So let's dive into it, especially after a week of coming off of that. So yeah, especially. All right, we've got to go. You got anything fun coming up you want to share with us?
