Welcome to Weigh In Wednesday, where we weigh in all things maintenance and everything that goes along with living the Livvy way.
So endless topics around here.
Joining me as always is Odette, who is the manager of our maintenance program, and Kim, who is the manager of our weight loss program.
Hi, ladies.
Hello. How are we feeling today?
Midweek, midway through the programs, both the weight loss program and the maintenance program.
How are we feeling?
Are we tired?
Are we invigorated?
Are we, where are we at?
I feel like it's a marathon, not a sprint.
Right.
Right.
This week has felt, the week has felt a bit long, but I'm feeling good I don't know if it's I'm I think my body's
confused with this weather like I'm going back into the summer like I want crisp and cool and
fall and fresh but it's hot like where I am in southern Ontario I'm sure for you too Gina it's
probably pretty warm where you are so I think I'm just a bit confused, but yeah, the week is full on, but I actually feel pretty good. Yeah. Kim.
Well, it's not hot here, so I do not have that in common with you guys. It's definitely fall here in
BC. Um, but I kind of wondered myself if, yeah, I feel like we hit that funny in the weight loss
group being the 12 wheel of 13
weeks, technically program halfway through the point, it is kind of a funny point where we are,
we're feel like we're just getting started, but we're also doing all the work for the end of the
group and the next group. So it was very confusing in my body and in my head where I am a lot of the
time, but yeah, I thought maybe
I was tired because of the seasonal change, but it could just be that there's so much going on,
but so many exciting things going on. So it is, it is good. There's a lot of exciting things. I
know we're going to talk about, for example, Ruth Kane is now elevating her research behind the
Libby method and now looking specifically into people who've been able to maintain and sustain their weight. So she studied the online learning process. She studied the efficacy of the Libby
method and how effective it is. And, and just started on maintenance in the last year. And now
she's ready to have one-on-ones with people and really dive into, you know, what makes the Libby
method sustainable and maintainable. And what are the commonalities between people
who are able to be able to maintain and sustain their weight.
We had Dragon's Den, which was very exciting.
We had our big one-day sale, which is always exciting.
We have the menopause, national menopause show
coming up on Saturday.
And then two weeks from then,
we have the national women's show,
which Kim is actually going to come join us.
She's going to fly her ass from BC out this way.
And so you'll get an opportunity.
Odette, I would imagine you're going to be there too.
Yeah, all three days I'll be there.
Yeah.
Yeah.
And hanging out for all three days.
And if you guys want to come hang out.
And then of course there's January.
And so really building on this momentum to spread the word about the living method.
And man, it's like we're big time around here.
Things are getting serious around here. Who's lined up for this? It's a lot of, it's a lot of work,
but it's very exciting. It's time the world knows about the Libby method. Um, it's, I didn't know
that trying to have the number one weight loss company in the world would be so much work though.
I don't know. I just thought it'd be all fun and games and awesome conversation. I think it is most of the time. Yeah, I think we have that
fun most of the time. I think what you just said there about it's time for the world to know about
the Libby method and the amazing weight loss program that is like no other. And I think it's
also time that the world knows about this supportive maintenance program and maintenance group too, because, you know, every day we are excited to hear what our members are saying. And, you know,
even if we just get five or 10 comments a day to hear what they're saying and to hear what they're
reflecting on and to hear what they even struggling with some days to be able to help them through
that, like what other place can they do that? What other, you know, diet plan have they, you know, gone through and then they're at this place where I'm done now what, and then
they have no support or they have no help or they're not made to feel like their struggle is
normal. And I think that's what's really what the world needs to know about too.
Yeah. We have real people who want them to be successful. And I love if you sign up for the maintenance program and you don't need it. Okay, amazing. Right? Like you, you, it is here for you if you want to take part in the community and in the conversation. And, you know, maybe you're able to maintain your weight for a couple years. And then all of a sudden, you're like, oh, okay, like something's happening in my life. And now you need a little bit more support. And that's what I love about our amazing community here. Um, that, you know, that you work so hard to,
to maintain a positive place for people to work through their maintenance journeys. I love that.
I think that, I think I have a feeling that our maintenance program will become eventually our
most popular program. I think especially, you know, it could be a program technically for anyone
who's lost their weight in any way, but especially with all these weight loss medications out there like people would still have to do the
work that they need to do to be able to maintain their weight and I think we are on like what's
that called where you're like the front leader or the leading edge or like we like I think people
look back and study the Libby method and the sustainability of it and the maintenance and
it'll be a model for a lot of other programs moving forward.
The word I think about is flagship.
Like it's kind of like the flagship program.
It's the first one, right?
It's what others may model after because they understand there is the need for it.
There is this place and it doesn't matter how you've lost your weight.
Maybe it was with a GLP.
Maybe it was with a point system.
Maybe it was just through an app. It doesn't mean that you're not going to have issues you need to
work out or you're going to have triggers and habits that pop back up and you're going to need
support working through that. So I think, you know, this being here and yeah, being a flagship,
I think is really what we want everybody to know about them. the forefront of weight loss and maintenance hi
Sid how are you be still my heart I'm home for a live hi hello Sid hi Sid I was gonna say I
haven't seen Sid around in the group a little bit I mean I've seen the post here and there about his
when we did the the challenge last week I saw him but I hadn't seen him for a little while so
it's nice to see him back how did your your challenge go? Didn't you have a challenge?
Yeah. So we had the digital detox. So we did, we didn't ask everybody to
go cold Turkey and put it away the whole, you know, three days. You could still use it once
in a while. Um, I think I can pop into the group and use the app and use Facebook and, um, you
know, that sort of thing. But it was one challenge.
We've had a few challenges in the past.
I think this was the one challenge that most of our members did struggle with.
And I'm only taking that by some of their comments or just on just not really being too vocal about it.
I didn't get many.
I'm in for this.
Here I go.
But it was the ones that were in, were in, and I think
they found it really valuable. And noticing, you know, really what we wanted people to do is notice
how do you feel when you're, when you're not connected at certain times? Are you more mindful?
Are you more present? Are you sleeping better? So yeah, so I think we had, it was a, it was a mixed
bag. Cool. All right. What's your next challenge? What are you going to do next? So I was thinking, actually funny, I was just thinking about that this week was I'm thinking
of having people challenge themselves to know what the scale is going to say before they actually get
on it. So I'm just working at the logistics of that, how that would go. But, you know,
could you challenge yourself for three days to be like, I think the scale is going to say this,
get on. And if it, if it does say that, or if it doesn't say that, and then how does it make you feel
after? So working on the logistics. I would love to know what people guessed and then what the
number was. I don't know if people want to be that forthcoming with their weight. I mean,
this is the place to do it for sure. But I would love to see what they guessed and what they weighed
that. I think that's a great challenge. Yeah. And how it makes them feel. They're like, Oh, I'm actually, you know, lower than I thought, or I'm actually higher than
I thought, but I feel normal. I feel the same, but this is telling me that I shouldn't. So.
Or like, how did you feel before? What did you think the number was going to be? And how did
you feel before you got on the scale? And then what was the number? And then how'd you feel
after you saw
the number that would be really interesting it would be and I think even if they don't want to
share the number sharing that you know did you think it was going to be the same up or down from
yesterday and was it the same up or down like if you weren't wanting to share that exact number
because you felt ways about sharing that than just what
you're up and down like what you were off by up and down but yeah definitely how you feel about
it because I think like people have come I think it would bring a lot of attention to how far
everyone's come when it comes to the scale because I see it with a lot of the new members in the
weight loss group how they feel about the scale and like hearing how people are like, yeah, it actually my scale was way up today and it didn't actually I laughed or it didn't ruin my day or I was able to reflect on why like that.
Just people I don't think people always realize how far they've come with that mentality when they get on the scale in the morning.
Yeah, Love that. And I think there's,
you know, I've, I think we've talked about this in the past where I would get on the scale or
both get on the scale and be like, Oh, I think I did a number on myself. And then I get on,
I'm like, Oh yeah, I did. And I knew that like, Oh, I knew that. I knew I did that,
you know, instead of being like, Oh, I did that. I can't believe I did that. Like, Oh, I knew it.
You're like, Oh yeah, there it is. Yeah. So I better, yeah. Better turn it
around. But last week after Thanksgiving in the weight loss group say that they got on the scale
after the Thanksgiving long weekend and were absolutely gobsmacked that they were 1.2 pounds
down. They thought for sure they were like, they couldn't believe it. And it just like,
I think having a moment like that,
when you were wrong is an eye opener, regardless of what direction you were wrong.
Yeah, that's such a good point. I know we have some topics we want to get into. I just do want
to spend some time on Ruth Kane's survey. It's not a survey, necessarily. It's a study. And so
if you have been maintaining your weight for what, a year,
right? A year or longer? Yeah, about a year. And I think the key here is too, is you don't have to
have been maintaining at your lowest low, but you have to just be in that range that you're
comfortable with. So we talk about that range all the time, a few pounds up, a few pounds down.
So if you've been maintaining in this range that has felt comfortable for you,
you, you know, that we want to hear from you. So don't feel like you're like, oh, I haven't been
at my lowest low. You know, I haven't seen it again, or I've only seen it once, you know,
as long as you've been in that range that, yeah, we want to hear from you.
Yeah. Maintaining. Here's Laura. So glad to be able to participate in Ruth's work. Well,
Ruth is, she's just fabulous. I love Ruth. Spending time with her, honestly, is such a treat. So yeah, I mean, this would, this is going to help us figure out how to better help
everybody. So everyone is a success story. And then we talk a lot, obviously here about, you
know, maintaining a weight, people gaining weight, people wanting to lose more weight. So, you know,
but if you have been maintaining for a year within a certain range, obviously, like Odette said,
please reach out. And I think
it's a 45 minutes conversation with Ruth. I mean, we would, we would, we would love that.
Menopause add on, I feel like the only thing I've been talking about lately is menopause.
I mean, like it's been all menopause all the time. But I don't, but this is good because I
think there's so much hype around
this because people have not spoken about menopause. And so if you haven't heard or,
or you have heard, we are doing a menopause add on, which you can absolutely be in maintenance.
It's not a program. It's about, it's a deep dive into weight gain and weight loss in menopause. So
specifically talking about weight loss,
but there's like, man, there's like, I think 50 something different, like I think now 60 different
topics, like variety of topics we're going to talk about perimenopause, menopause, postmenopause.
We're going to talk about nutrition. We're going to talk about skin. We're going to talk about
exercise. We obviously are going to talk to doctors. We have a new doctor joining us
and talk about testing and all of that. So it's a good general interest. And I think anyone who's
done the living method doing a current program or in our maintenance program would find it
beneficial because there are like certain foods that can help in menopause that help to decrease
inflammation, for example, right? And it's talking about all the things you do in the weight loss program and the maintenance program
and how they tie into not just weight loss,
but also maintaining and sustaining your weight.
Or maybe you're on the younger side
and you're just now going into perimenopause
or you're not there yet.
This could be really informative for you.
And then anyone who's also in postmenopause,
you still have hormones in your body
that need to be addressed.
So anyone who's interested in that. Yeah, I think it's really, you're really giving this topic the
space and time it deserves wherever you may be. And yes, it's going to be, we're talking about
the Libby method, but we're also just talking about general wellness and having a bit of a
deeper understanding of what this stage of your life is like, what it's about. So I think that's where, you know, we had a few members
saying, well, I'm not trying to lose weight. Does this work for me? And of course, because it's just
a deeper conversation. It's for anybody that wants to know more, you know, with the added bonus of,
you know, having the benefit of the Libby method behind you.
You know, I think about conversations. I've been reflecting a lot on conversations, like someone who's lost weight in the program, and maybe their
cholesterol levels are up, but your cholesterol levels are up could be because you're of hormones,
right? And we know there's that bounce back where after your when your body's releasing fat,
you know, your cholesterol levels can be up and they can come back down. But I'm just thinking
about, you know, a lot of conversations I've had with people over the years. I think it's just a greater insight into what's happening in their body is beneficial.
Weight gain, weight loss aside at the end of the day, all about being as healthy as you possibly can.
And I think it's opening up space for it not being typical.
Like menopause is not typical for everybody.
Like, you know, everybody thinks hot flashes or they think brain fog, but maybe that's
not where you fit.
Maybe your symptoms are different than that.
And if that, if you're only hearing one message that, oh, I do have hot flashes yet.
Well, you know, maybe I don't.
Does that mean I'm not in menopause?
I think we're just going to open up the topic to everybody.
And again, I think really, I said this about maintenance, like normalizing your feels and
your struggles, like menopause, let's normalize that everybody might have a bit of a different, you know, a bit of a
different journey.
And let's, you know, talk about all of it.
Yeah, I love this from Susan.
I kept my weight off for two years, the complete hysterectomy and a ton of stress.
I'm redoing the plan and seeing a naturopath on a regular basis.
I gave her your book and she loved it.
Love this program and staying with it.
So we're going to talk about like medical induced menopause as well. Hysterectomy is asking me part of the conversation.
Heather is asking, can friends outside the living method join the menopause add on? Yeah. If they're
interested in weight loss and menopause, I think it's going to be a well-rounded conversation.
Andropause is a real thing. Can we do a male centric group chat at some time? Yes. I'll tell
you why. So Sid, the difference with andropause is so it's such a, it happens, but it's slow and
over time, right? Whereas menopause seems to like really hit women hard and fast, but yes,
absolutely. In fact, I just had a conversation with Tony today and I said, I feel like this is
a lot of menopause and I don't want to discount people who this conversation isn't relevant. And I think also, you know,
men are also dealing with their own hormones that we don't talk enough about like androgens
and testosterone. So tomorrow actually, um, I'm going to have, and I don't know,
sit if you're still, if you have still access to the weight loss program, if you do like,
I'll get you access or you can download and listen to the podcast.
Off the top of that, I'm going to talk to Dr. Olenka about exactly that because I think it's
a conversation we're not having that we need to have. I'm actually even considering doing a men's
add-on. So a group for men specifically to talk about the things that are specific to them while they're
doing the program as well so the program just works really well for men and i think a lot of
times because 95 of our members are women and a big percentage of them are in within that 35 to 65
age group but i don't want to discount men in the conversation either because the program works so
well for men always has always has but um what do
you ladies think about that i i think it's great another it's a lot of work kim's like what another
what again who signed up for this right no i think i think that would be great because i do think that
the difference like that like as you said the program works great for
men but I think they could really benefit from some male specific information because the
conversation is dominated by the fact that just percentage wise of members the community and what
we talk about there's more women chiming in. Therefore the topics tend to lead that way.
I think for sure.
I'm going to put my vote in for Dave for president.
If we are doing a men's group, because we know he'd be in there.
Even Jason, they can run it together.
They can do the lives.
I think we've got a few great members. Yeah. I think, you know,
what's important too, is giving them the space. I mean, traditionally, I don't want to put
everybody in the same basket, but traditionally men don't talk about their health as much.
They don't talk about, you know, they're wanting to lose weight or wanting to feel good or,
or, you know, they don't want to go to the doctor. They just, you know, they don't want to have that, have to deal with it or talk about it.
But if we can, again, normalize it and, you know, have them say, have a space for them
to be able to talk about it, I think that is also, you know, revolutionary and something
that we want to support.
New year, new me.
Season is here.
And honestly, we're already over it.

Yeah, I agree. I remember when I worked, I used to have, when I used to work with one-on-one
clients, I remember there's this one guy in particular and he was very successful and he
was like tall and he looked like Superman. And I remember him sitting across him and he started to
cry. And he just like, I feel like a failure. I feel like my wife doesn't find me attractive.
I feel like what's wrong with me. I can run this business, but I can't like, I don't know how to
lose weight. I just, I, you know, back in the day I was a football player and I felt like this and that and literally crying in front of me. And I was like, whoa, like I think men feel they have this,
they feel it, they feel it deeply. They want it. Um, maybe they're not the best at articulating it
in a diet culture way where, um, women just more freely back in the day, not so much anymore, but used to talk about it all the
time. Whereas men, I think it affects them just as much. Maybe they tend not to be as vocal about
it. And then I also think like, you know, a lot of men that I worked with in the past just thought,
what are you just going to make me eat carrot sticks and lettuce? Like I'm not a rabbit because they just see what maybe their wives or see what's out there.
And there's like, I can't live off of that.
And nor should they try to live off of carrot sticks either.
Right.
And they're not as invested in, I think, in diets, in diet culture because it's a lot of it is geared towards women.
And if it's not geared towards women, then it's muscle head.
You've got to be a, you know, a bodybuilder.
That's like men's fitness, right?
Men's fitness, at least back in the day, I haven't read a copy recently, was not about feelings.
It was about, you know, how heavy you can squat, that type of thing.
And so, yeah, I think it's so true.
I think there's a need for it. Yeah, I think it's, I think it's so true. I think, I think that
there's a need for it. Yeah. I think there's a need for it. I think that we can, yeah, if we can
have them open up and feel comfortable and, you know, have that space, I think it is valuable.
It might be slow to grow, but we'll see. We'll get them. Yeah. I mean, that's what I said to
Tony. I said, maybe, maybe we get 10 guys signed up. I don't know. I think there's a lot more of
the, we know that there's a lot more of them following along maybe with their spouses and indirectly.
But if we did a specific men's program, you never know.
Yeah.
You never know.
Yeah.
Just as just a separate support group of some sort, you know, like it's still the living
method program, but this is, you know, a space for them to come together and talk about those
things.
Sid, let me ask you if you're still, if you're still listening, let us know, a space for them to come together and talk about those things.
Sid, let me ask you, if you're still, if you're still listening, let us know, like,
would you appreciate a separate program or you just want to be in the same program with more information geared towards men? Right. I'm glad to help in any way. Good. You're now going to do
all the check-ins, Sid. You're going to host the lives. You're going to do all that. But like,
I also don't want to segregate men from women either, but you know, maybe, maybe men would like appreciate a place that it's just geared towards
them. Um, or would, would you maybe like more information geared towards you enjoy being in
the environment with a ton of women, you know, all inclusive and just would like a little bit
more information geared towards you. That's what I would like to know.
That's a yes or a no from Sid.
It's a nervous laugh, I think.
Sid's typing.
We spent this whole time not talking about anything.
I think that.
No, that's okay.
Now we have next week sorted out already.
Hey, how did your conversation with Andrew go? So he's lovely. I like him. I think he's fascinating and that he seems to be very young, but it seems to be really wanting to help us
older Jen. Andrew is super committed to helping people. I think that's what I really get from him
is that he is committed. He's here for it.
He is really passionate, like even just, you know, behind the scenes, him and I talking,
really passionate about helping people not think that they're a lost cause and that it's too late
and they can start at any age. I think that is what's so refreshing and so different in that
he's not trying to get everybody, you know, just to bulk
up. Like a lot of these, you know, trainers in that demographic, again, don't put everybody in
the same basket, but you know, that messaging can be like that. You've got to get buff. You've got
to get strong. You have to, that's the only goal here where I think he's really talking longevity
and functionality later in life. You know, he wants the last five years of your life to be
just as good as these ones now. You do. I want to be, I don't know, walking around Europe
and surfing when I'm 95. He inspired Heather. The live with Andrew and Gina, along with a review
of the maximizing checklist, prompted me to seek a personal trainer to now get into resistance
training. Yeah. Appointment next week. Well, let us know. Let us know how it goes. Here's Judy. I
asked Andrew a question on Instagram today and he answered within minutes. Well, get him while he's
hot because Lord knows once he comes on in the program, he'll be busy. I just think he's a nice
guy and you can tell when people's heart is in the right place. It's not about how many followers
you have on your account.
It's what we look for in our guests where people really appreciate how hard our members are trying.
And they're not just desperate people. They are smart people, hardworking people who are here for
all the right reasons, want to do the work, have done the work. And I think they want a leveled up
conversation, not blow smoke up their ass or feed them a load of horseshit, right? They just give us some information we can use,
tell it to us straight, right? And come from a place of love. And I think, I think he did that
brilliantly. Yeah. And I, and I think he, um, not to call him a geek, but I think he was totally
geeked out by answering questions. Like, I think he loves that. So I would, you know, we're gonna,
we'll have him back and maybe we can do like an loves that. So, you know, we'll have him back
and maybe we can do like an ask him anything or, you know, just have an open floor for him to be
able to ask questions. I know he loved being able to really connect with the members in that way.
He's, you know, he's super knowledgeable. I know this was just an intro that we did with him,
but his knowledge is deep. Like you can, you know, that he has, he has a lot of experience. He's worked with a lot of people, not to mention his, you know,
formal education and background, but he, his knowledge is deep and he's a smart, smart guy.
So I think if you're interested in that geeking out and that going deeper, when Odette, when you
were first sort of investigating into him, I jumped down that rabbit hole with you. And remember
listening to the podcast, like with my kids and stuff like that. And the background information he provides before
like answering the question on a topic is amazing. Like you learn more than you ever thought you
wanted to know about something. So I think that amount of investment in answering questions is
appreciated by people that have been putting a lot of energy
into bettering themselves. And it's kind of nice to see that energy matched with somebody.
Yeah. And wanting to share your knowledge, right? Without trying to sell something every five
minutes either. There's this, I mean, we have to sell programs. We have to make money. We're a
business, all those things. So not doing it for free. Although for many years I did do it for
free. And my first weight loss program was for free.
And we do have to make money, but I think there's, you know, he's, he's, I wish him
all the success and I want everyone to be financially successful and financially free
and all that.
But I think that's not, it doesn't seem to be what his motivation is.
I think he seems to be genuinely motivated by actually caring about helping people.
And I think that's really, it's special. And I think it's a gift. And Odette, you found Dr. Alinka as well. She's like, yeah, you're the one who finds all of our amazing guests for us now. That's your job.
Okay, I'll put that on my list.
You heard that from our first time.
I'll put that on now too, I guess. list. Yeah. Yeah. He was great. And I'm looking forward to having him back. And like I said,
he was, you know, talking again about him having a gift. He's has come forward and said, what about
a series on this? Or what if we could talk about this over a certain amount of time? So I think
he's going to be really invested with our members and our group.
And yeah, I'm excited.
We'll have him back one more time before we kind of wrap things up for the holidays.
And then we'll just have him all the time come January.
You know, it's exciting about our get like excited, exciting.
And I understand where he's coming from.
It's exciting to work with our members.
They are active listeners.
They are doers.
They take action, right?
Like there's nothing better than,
you know, it feels good to feel good,
but helping other people feel good
is like next level kind of stuff.
And when you're sharing information
and people are actually listening
and booking appointments
or, you know, following your advice.
I mean, I think that's really exciting
for anyone who is out there trying to actually help people, which reminds me, did you, did you,
did you listen to the conversation with Stacey yesterday? A hundred pounds down.
And just, just, you know, at the opening too. And she's like, I just don't even know how it
happened. It was like happenstance. And I look at myself and I'm like, is that me? I don't even know if that's me. Is that me? You
know, she has to look at herself a few times. Like, yeah, she was, she's incredible. Yeah.
She was great. Um, if you guys haven't, and again, I don't want to assume everyone has access to the
weight loss group, but if you go over to our podcast way in Regina, that's where we're putting
all of our, what used to be the old spillill the Tea is now Real People, Real Journeys.
I just felt like Spill the Tea wasn't, I mean, it's not gossipy. People are sharing their very
real stories with us. And I just thought the title wasn't really doing it justice anymore.
I don't know if that's what we're going to stick with moving forward. But if you haven't had an
opportunity, Stacey has lost over 100 pounds with the Libby Method.
But man, her whole attitude is just like crazy.
Yeah.
So you can listen over on our Way in Machina podcast.
So we did not go through one thing on your list, Odette.
No, keep it.
We'll go over it.
We'll do it next week.
Okay.
I'm doing it.
I'm saving it.
I save it.
Saves me a few hours of work there you go I will I will
file this in my non-existing file cabinet my you should see I need a file cabinet
this is my Tony says to me actually Tony who said to me last night in bed because he's
we're getting a stand-up desk he's like do you need a file cabinet I'm like no why for what
do we ask Tony to keep that set of notes aside somewhere on his desk
so I'm gonna put it over here as opposed to throwing it down there like it's the
folded one just remember it's the folded one it's the folded one. Just remember, it's the folded one. It's the folded one.
Okay, well, that was fun.
Yeah, how about real people, real journeys in M&M?
Yeah, I would love to share my journey.
So, I mean, that is the thing, right?
Like, I love this conversation every week.
Odette has had her plate full with the new maintenance program.
So right now we're also working on an app. Odette's now working on a book as well. Put all the information in book form. It
looks like January, we'll probably like redo the weight loss, the maintenance program again, but
eventually we want to get an app. So there's a lot going on there. I'm looking on booking new guests,
but yeah, I think new segments, we need to take a look and do an audit of the maintenance program
and be like, okay, what can we do to level things up and do an audit of the maintenance program and be like,
okay, what can we do to level things up again?
And so that's definitely, I think we'll be looking into the new year and do some new
fun segments.
And of course, introducing Sid's new segment where Sid will be the host of his own segment
here in the maintenance program.
What do we call it?
Like we'll call it, I don't know, Maintenance Mondays with Sid.
I don't know, Sid Saturdays.
When are you available, Sid?
Let us know.
Sid Saturdays.
Yeah, with the visual, Sid.
Just drop it in the comments.
We'll reach out to Fern too.
Maybe Fern's his wife.
So maybe we'll reach out to Fern too.
Fern and Sid could do a segment together.
The Fern and Sid show.
Yeah.
Yes.
Yeah?
There you go.
Sid's in. I'll email him. There you go. Sid's in.
Oh, email him.
Love it.
He said love it.
There is something to be said about that member element, right?
Like there's so much to be learned from our members who've been in maintenance.
We need to hear more from them.
Yeah.
We do some do the spotlights, you know, a long time ago, but I think, which were just written,
I think it's important to hear their voices
and to hear them tell their stories.
It is.
So that's definitely something that we've been thinking about
and where we're going to fit it in and format it.
And we have plenty of members to choose from.
I mean, they're all amazing.
Well, Sid's going to host, so we're good.
Yeah, we're good.
Awesome.
He was on weigh-in a while ago and he did great. His camera was great. His audio was great. So he we're good. Yeah. Awesome. He was on land a while ago and he was, he did great. His camera was great.
His audio was great. So he's already good to go.
Yeah. He's ready.
He's sweating in his apartment right now. So
he's going to be great. Okay. Um, anyone else want to do a segment?
Let us know. Let us know. Um, thanks everyone thanks everyone that was super fun that was a conversation
i didn't know i needed to have today just uh let's all hang out shoot the shit yeah talk about stuff
yeah it's a good wednesday conversation um okay i don't want to go but i gotta go i got
i gotta go i get my walk in i've been trying to get in my 10,000 steps every day. It's not easy. I hear you.
10,000, like you think 10,000, oh, but it's, it's a lot of steps. It is. I think my phone is broken.
I'm not using my, my Apple watch. I'm using my phone and I'm out there walking for an hour and
I'm getting like 4,000 steps. And Tony, who hasn't even left the house somehow has 4,000 steps I'm like how are you getting
what it's your phone for sure right put your apple watch on because you'll get steps even just
going to the bathroom going to look at today so you can see my walk days and then I don't know
what happened there's last two days last night I got out uh like left the house at 7 30 today I've
gotten 917 steps so I don't even know what I'm at today for mine.
Not very much.
I've got a lot of sits.
They should keep track of sits for me.
Yeah.
I would crush sits.
Sitting down?
I crush that.
I've actually hit my stand goal sitting down a couple times.
I'm not sure how.
My stand goal never works for me.
I'm not wearing my watch today so I forgot
to put it on this morning I still have my tan line from the summer because I wore it all summer but
now I haven't worn it today so I I'm at zero steps you're already ahead of me I'm only I'm
not even at 2000 oh 2021 I'm just over 2021 steps you go for a walk today no I've been
sitting at my desk all day how'd you get 2 000 steps in
sitting at your desk oh well i get up i mean i start work before six o'clock in the morning so
i'm back and forth walking around i don't know anything in between meetings i was on the phone
with odette for quite a while actually so that's true we do you know what tony puts his phone in his pocket
and i don't i leave mine so that's probably what it is oh yeah i'm gonna try my watch
does frantic typing register as steps
i wish oh yeah i wish it would be great all right let's have a step challenge we should do a step
challenge okay let's write it down we could do that yeah okay step challenge. We should do a step challenge. Okay. Let's write it down. We could do that.
Yeah.
Okay.
Step challenge.
Most people have some sort of tracking device.
I mean, I would hate for everybody to be out there counting one, two, three.
Well, you can also like, there's like, Tony was like checking it out.
Like if you do a certain distance at a certain speed equates to a certain number of steps.
So you can do it that way too.
Yeah.
Okay.
We'll look into that.
Especially when it's, you know, get people motivated to get
moving when it's getting a little bit cooler. So yeah, it gets dark earlier. It's a little
harder to get it after dinner sometimes. Cause it's so dark. But if we're watching,
I was out last night. I heard.
Yeah. I went for, yeah, I went for a walk. There's a couple of things like one,
like it's freaking me out because it's Halloween.
And then I can't really see very well in the dark.
And I walk by and it looks like this.
I don't know if it's a Halloween thing with like this kid with his arm and no head.
And I'm thinking like, is that it?
That's not funny.
And it was like sitting on the edge of there properly.
I'm like, that is fucking creepy. So on my way walking to it, I walk by and there's a woman sitting in a lawn chair in her driveway, just
looking up. And I was just like, is that real? Like that's, what are you doing? That's so weird.
Not like facing out on the street to sitting sideways in the middle of her driveway. That
creeped me out. I almost screamed. And then I walked by this creepy headless child statue and
it's one of those electrical boxes and then I'm like
okay I'm done I need to I need to maybe start taking one of your kids or Tony with you when
you go just yeah I better got your heart rate up though yeah right got your heart rate up
I'm too afraid to be outside I'm not I need to go back inside anyways i'm scared to go um okay let's go gotta go okay let's go okay
