Weight Loss Program, but you want to get started now. I totally understand and respect that. Hi,
my name's Gina. I am the creator of the Living Method, and I'm the person that guides you through
the 91 days of our weight loss program. So I'm going to tell you what you can do
to get started now. In fact, I've heard and spoken to so many of our members who lost weight before
even starting the program. But first, I want to tell you why it's worth waiting for the program
and why there actually isn't anything you need to do to get started. So we run three programs a year in the fall, in the winter and
the spring, typically when people start out on their weight loss journeys. We run them in 91
day increments because 91 days is enough time to make change in the body. And just like every other
diet, you want to start the program and keep following the program until you reach
your goal weight and you are done. But rather than have you buy into a subscription service,
we run 91 day programs that have a start, a middle, end and end. And it's up to you how many
you need or want to do. So we have people who sign up and only need to do one program. And then we have
people who have more weight to lose or for whatever reason, it takes them longer, maybe life is getting
in the way or whatnot. And so they sign up for more programs. So I love the way we structure the
program. I do recognize it's different than any other diet that most people have done. And it's
different in a variety of ways.
So one of the reasons why the Livi Method is different than any other diet is it truly is a guided program and process. Throughout the 91 days, we are telling you exactly what you need to
do day by day. Each week has a different focus and tweak, and we roll out guidelines for you to
follow. And even in terms of what you're
eating and when that changes and evolves as you go, we do start with a basic food plan that I'm
going to share with you today. But what you eat and when changes and evolves as you go. It's also
different because we don't have any counting and weighing and measuring, but we do have our own
systematic method for getting
in tune to your portions. And but the biggest reason that the living method is different is
we truly want you to lose your weight in a way that's not just healthy for your body. That's not
just healthy for your mind, but in a way you're going to truly be able to maintain and sustain.
So beyond just what you are eating and when there's so much that goes
into that working through your issues and associations tied into food, how you've learned
to utilize food to cope, your belief system, your habits, right? And even for some people,
some past traumas. So along with me guiding you through the 91 day program day by day by checking
in and going live. I also have a
variety of amazing guest experts that are going to be there to talk more in depth about the things
that you need to know and work through to truly lose your weight in a way that's going to be
sustainable and maintainable. We also have some great resources for you. So we have an app that
you can follow where you can track your weight and your fluids and your
foods and your moods. You can also journal and set intentions, end of day reflections. The app
itself will guide you through the program and process. You'll also have access to our Livi AI
feature. So in the app itself, you can ask any questions about the program and then get a
response within seconds. And then we have our Facebook support group
where you'll also find similar information,
but that's where our team of incredible program specialists,
real people are there to answer any questions that you have.
So you can ask all the questions that you want
and a real person will answer as many as you need answered.
That's also where you'll find our community as well. So like-minded
people who are just trying to, you know, wake up every day and work towards their goals and do that
sometimes when life isn't making it easy for them. So for a variety of reasons, it's worth waiting
for the program to start. And there truly is nothing you need to do to get started. Our next program starts on January 6th. And once you January 6th comes,
you'll open up the app, pop into the Facebook support group, we'll give you time to review
information, ask those questions, run out and grab anything that you need, and then start making the
changes that you need to make. But with that said, I'm assuming that you're listening to this because you are motivated
right now today and you don't want to wait. So what can you do? So one of the things you can do
is just familiarize yourself with the program itself. And the best way to do that is getting
the information ahead of time. So we have a book available on Amazon. So at any Amazon near you,
look for the Living Method Weight Loss Program Guide.
It is the same information that is in the app and the same information that is in the Facebook support group.
But this way you'll have like a paper version of it.
You can highlight, you can make notes, you can read ahead.
You can really get a sense of what the program is all about.
So once you pick that up, you're going to want to review the basic food plan.
Now, again, keeping in mind what you eat and when changes and evolves as you go,
but the basic food plan will get you started. The basic food plan is just full of nutrient
rich foods. There's no real secret sauce to it. Although there is a rhyme and a reason to the
changes that you make each week. There's no gimmicks. It's not low carb.
It's not high protein or fat.
It's just good nutrient-rich foods.
So any nutrient-rich foods will work.
So grocery-wise, any fruits that you like, vegetables that yes, and fruits are on the
program, any vegetables that you like, any proteins that you like, whether you eat meat or not,
it doesn't matter.
You can follow the program and follow a plant-based diet.
So any types of proteins that you enjoy eating, meat, seafood, plant protein, healthy fats
obviously are a big one, healthy oils, nuts, seeds, avocados.
Also what I love about the Libby Method program,
although we do have a pretty specific food plan for you to follow, it can accommodate any dietary
needs, any cultural needs as well in terms of what foods you can have or can't have or if you
have a style of cooking that you like. If you like to cook and you spend a lot of time in the kitchen
and you want to be fancy about it, you can do that. If you also want to keep it super simple, you can do that as well.
So the basic food plan starts with focusing on protein for breakfast in the morning. You can
also combine fruits and vegetables to that. You could also do something like eggs or some oatmeal,
some yogurt, whatever that is. The focus really primarily
is on protein. Then mid morning, you want to have a snack and we are suggesting fruit and fruit on
its own. For lunch, the focus is on vegetables, proteins, leafy greens, healthy fats. And lunch
is also the place where you would add in any heavier carbs like rices,
potatoes, those types of things. Then in the afternoon, we have two snacks. We have starting
with a vegetable snack. You can also add proteins and fats to that. There's also a second afternoon
snack and that is nuts and seeds, any kind of nuts and seeds. If you can't do nuts and seeds, there are alternatives like dairy,
olives, beans, those types of things. And then dinner is a focus on vegetables, protein,
leafy greens, healthy fats. You really do want to minimize your heavier carbs at dinner unless you
are being extra active. Now, in sharing this basic food plan with you, there is a whole rhyme and a reason behind it,
which we do explain in the book and in the program once we get started as well. Lots of people ask
about exercise. I think one of the ways you can set yourself up for success is just starting to
move your body if you are not currently on an exercise program, whether it's getting your heart rate up or going for long
walks and endurance or doing resistance training and lifting weights, any kind of exercise is a
great complement to the program and process itself. We also focus on things like maximizing,
which is a conversation about all the other things that you can do to be proactive about getting and keeping that scale moving. Things like managing your stress, trying to get better sleep, taking into
account any health issues that you have and really being mindful of those and level up in terms of
the things that you are doing to help address any health issues that you have. Now, you may be
wondering about health issues and the Libby Method in general. So the Libby Method is a great complement to any health issues that
you have. We have people who have diabetes, thyroid issues, a variety of health issues,
do the program, fertility issues, PCOS, you name it. And because we're focused on losing weight in
a healthy way, it is because of those health issues that your body is not interested in storing fat and why so many people find so much success in weight loss with the Libby method
is our truly healthy and holistic approach to losing weight in the first place. What else can
I say about the Libby method? Let's get deep for a second, really understanding your why,
why you have signed up for my weight
loss program and really make it tangible. I mean, maybe it's a wedding, maybe it's a vacation,
you want to wear a bikini. But generally, you know, it's deeper than that. Let's just say,
let's just say for shits and giggles, it is because you want to wear your bikini at your
next vacation. Let's not just make it about the bikini. Let's make it
about how you're going to feel in that bikini. So make it tangible. Envision yourself wearing
the bikini, how you feel wearing it, maybe walking across the beach in your bikini, maybe stopping at
a taco stand and grabbing a taco and, you know, having a beer with it and then, you know, continuing
on your way. Maybe it's just to be
healthier, but what does healthier mean to you? Is that being able to, you know, get up in the
morning and not feel tired and wonder how you're going to make it through your day? Or maybe it's
being able to play with your grandkids, get down on the floor and play with them and then be able
to get back up again. Like what, you know, why, why? Really make it
tangible, really make it real. The other thing that I suggest you do, and I think is really
important, it might surprise you, is really if you spend any time dieting at all and you've lost and
you've gained and you lost and you gained and you lost and you gained, really reflecting on your
history of dieting. Like really try and understand what was, what is your weight story?
Like, when did you realize you had a weight issue? What are the things that you have done?
What's been happening in your life along the way that's coincided with the times that you've lost
weight or gained weight? I think it's really beneficial to reflect on where you've been,
where you're coming from, what you've done,
to have an understanding of where you are right now today, which will give you great insight into
the things that you need to do and work through so you are truly successful at reaching your goals.
Oh, start drinking some more water. I find that most people do not drink enough water.
Aim for about two and a half to three and a half liters. That's now science.
That is studied. That's the average amount of water that most people need. And then you can
add more if you are taller or have a larger amount of weight to lose, or you live in a dry environment
or you are extra active or that kind of thing. Okay. So we talked about signing up for the actual
program and how that works and why that's beneficial. We talked about the basic food plan. We talked about having a really strong why. We talked about understanding
where you've come from. We've talked about moving your body, drinking your water, other things like
managing your stress, working hand in hand with your healthcare provider. I think that's it.
You'll find that the Levy Method, it's not about the rocket science
behind it. And there is some science behind it, which we will share with you when we start the
program, because we are big believers in science around here. It's more about consistency. It's
more about trying to make as many choices each day that fall in line with your goals.
Now, I don't know if any of this helps or maybe makes you feel more
overwhelmed. I don't really know. Here's what I do know, though, is that little goes a long way.
And, you know, maybe you'll see some action on the scale by me sharing some of these tips,
or maybe you'll just feel so much better by the time that you start, or maybe you'll feel
more organized and ready to start. In whatever way, I hope that
you've found this conversation helpful. I am truly, really excited for you though, to get into
our actual weight loss program. I know you're going to love it. You're going to come to realize
and understand why we run things the way that we do. And you'll come to realize that the fact that
we do things differently than any other diet out there is a good thing. That's a good thing.
