Starting point is 00:00:00 I'm Gina Livy, and welcome to the Livy Method podcast. This is where you'll have access to all of the live streams for my 91-day weight loss program. Well, this is the place. This podcast is hosted on ACAST, but it's available on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple, and Amazon Music.
Starting point is 00:00:35 I'm living a really happy relationship with my body. My confidence is through the roof. Every day on this program, I learn something new. I have tools now. I never had them before. My guest today, I had the opportunity to speak with not too long ago, as she joined me on our real people, real journey segment at the time, she had lost over 100 pounds with the living method.
Starting point is 00:01:03 I think it's perfect timing to hear from her again because some of you, this is your first program, you're coming back in January, and some of you have been with us for a while. What does it take to keep going? And then how do you know when you are done? And then what is maintenance all about? Something that we are going to get into, of course, all next week. So let's introduce Stacey.
Starting point is 00:01:27 I just, I saw the clip there. I'm proud of how calm I am about the way that I'm living. I love that. Also, hi. Hi. I love being back here. I love you. Isn't that?
Starting point is 00:01:49 Community is so great. It is. It's the broader community, all of you guys, the staff. And then it's also all those relationships we end up making with people along the way, some that we're friends from before that we lost track with or whatnot. And the living method has brought us together. And some is complete strangers who have reached out and are now part of a community. It is so special.
Starting point is 00:02:12 It is. It's really great, especially this time of year and especially when it comes to weight loss, because, you know, I know you have a history of trying all the things and it can feel like a very lonely journey. Some people live in full houses yet feel completely alone or maybe. may not have the support that they feel like they need. I heard you have like a huge like WhatsApp group. Yes.
Starting point is 00:02:33 Yeah. It is the greatest thing. And it started off as just a couple people and, you know, those reaching out when they heard about my journey. And I'm like, hey, why don't we get a group going? And then as we go, they add different people in, friends and whatnot. And it's so nice because there's, you know, your app and the AI and being able to ask stuff.
Starting point is 00:02:53 There's the group where we can ask people from your team. but we also share amongst each other, which is also special in its own way. So, yes, that WhatsApp group is awesome. Well, we're actually working on something called Livy with friends, where people can get together with their friends, coworkers, whoever. And we're going to support them in starting their own group chats. And there's going to be, you know, sort of like perks for that and whatnot, all completely free. I was just at a dinner yesterday and was sitting with a couple doctors and one of which does
Starting point is 00:03:25 clinical trials. And we've shared with him some of the research from the Livy Method. And he's like really at the end of the day, it's great what you've done. But community is so important. And we know that when people try to make change or strive to reach their goals when they're doing it with somebody that they know, they're more likely to be more successful. Absolutely. And, you know, there's the element about being able to reach out to your team anytime with anything. And, you know, everybody feels free to be able to do that. And, you know, everybody feels free to be able to do that. And then there's another element.
Starting point is 00:03:56 So I love what you're planning with, you know, that group of friends as well. Because sometimes you can be that much more real in there with people that you know and everybody's supportive. And everybody knows you're going to have good days and bad days. So, you know, one who's not having a great day, others can help lift them up and remind them that it's progress over perfection. And, you know, this is a blip in the radar and whatnot. So love that.
Starting point is 00:04:18 I love that too. Okay. So where are you at? What's going on? What's new since we last chatted? What is new? Well, I mean, I've been going through this whole journey. Is my weight as low as it was before? No, because it's all about ebbing and flowing and whatnot. But is the mindset still strong? Yes. So that's great. And I'm just trying to figure out what my finally and forever looks like. You know, you get into back in the day when you were doing this, it was do the program as many times as you need to to lose your weight, do it once more to solidify and then go into maintenance. So I was in that where I was trying to do the, you know, solidify people. or do I lose a little bit more in the progress?
Starting point is 00:04:57 And it's weird. The mindset is really weird where you're used to losing weight. And when you go in and you're like, okay, I'm not supposed to be doing it, but I'm following everything and hearing about losing weight. That was an interesting one for me. And now I'm like, okay, I could probably lose a little bit more in trying to figure out what that looks like. But, you know, all part of the process.
Starting point is 00:05:19 I'd say one of the other big things. So when I spoke to you, I had just moved out to Vancouver for work. Um, and since then I met somebody. Um, and it's amazing. I think back to it all. And if it wasn't for this program, I don't think I would have been in the right place and the right mindset to meet somebody. You know, feeling better about myself and just my outlook on everything around me. So that was fantastic. He has been unbelievably supportive. I remember for my live last time, he ended up sending me flowers before the segment to congratulate me. And it was all so new. And then came over after and wanted to watch the segment and kept, you know, grabbing my Instagram and wanted to read all the comments
Starting point is 00:05:57 from everybody. Like having somebody who is supportive is unreal. Well, first, losing 100 pounds is no joke. That is no easy feat. Like, that's incredible. But I get this because, you know, I was married before. And then I was dating and it was just like, eh. And then I was like, okay, let me just focus on myself. And then when you do that work, that is where you attract, like what you are meant to have in your life, right? And that must have been a really massive transformation for you. And of course, we're not just talking weight loss here, right? Because we're talking about the work that you did to be able to lose your weight in such a healthy way and such a mindful way, such a self-aware way that changes who you are. It does. And, you know, there's the whole,
Starting point is 00:06:42 you know, perception and reality. And here's a really interesting thing that happened. He ended up opening up to me and saying that, you know, at first, he wasn't sure if I was the one for him when he was reading my profile because he saw about how I love to cook and to bake and this and that. And he was, you know, in a mode. He was previously a personal trainer and was in a get healthier mode and whatnot. And he thought, oh, I don't know. Like she's all into cooking and baking and I'm on a diet. And then he meets me and finds out about my journey. And it was just, it was so cool because you cannot just judge a book by its cover. And everybody has an amazing story. And yeah, it was kind of crazy how when he shared that with me.
Starting point is 00:07:22 Oh, I love that. He sounds great. It's about being open, right? And owning who you are and all the struggles along the way. Like, I think as you get older, you're just sort of, you just, you don't have the energy to not just be you. Yes, 100%. Um, I like what you said about kind of like, of course, now we have our maintenance program. And, you know, someone asked the other day, well, I'm close to my goal.
Starting point is 00:07:46 Should I like sign up for the next round or go into maintenance? I'm like, before you go to maintenance, you've got to make sure that you are done because you can't be in maintenance trying to lose weight. But with that said, there's that there's that kind of that space where you want to know, you can't, you can't be okay to maintain but then want to see the scale move every day. But with that said, we have so many people who think that they're done and then they decide they want to go back for more. And then people who are done and then they fall back into old habits or, you know, situational change. It's that's, you know, there's reasons why people gain way back, situational change, not putting time into maintenance, you know, not being mindful, which, you know, usually because we're dealing with some situational change that's going on. So it's not a, it's not a black and white situation. It's not at all.
Starting point is 00:08:35 It's not at all. And, you know, I think the biggest thing for anybody to think about when they're going through the process is, remember it's a feeling and not a number. Because when you're chasing a number, that can really throw you off. But you're right about the program. It's flexible. Even if you go into maintenance and then feel like you may be want to lose more or you've gained a bit, you want to go back. You've given us all the tools. Whether it's going back on track on our own or going back into a program, there are so many opportunities and possibilities. What would you say about, you know, there's so much talk about losing weight, but so much talk about how it's impossible to maintain and sustain your way.
Starting point is 00:09:12 And what would you say to people who are concerned about that? I mean, I think what I'd say to people is nothing in life is ever super easy. So we've all worked hard on getting to where we are. And, you know, we can't take maintenance for granted. But it's all about finding your new normal and living your life. Like we can't continually, you know, be fixated all the time. Like everything in your program has taught us to be calm, to take out all that background noise and chatter and whatnot. So, you know, I think what we have to do is really focus one step in front of the
Starting point is 00:09:47 other on what's in front of us now, have that perspective of a big picture as well and think about all that we've accomplished. But really, it's just not getting lost in all of this stuff around us. But maintenance is absolutely possible and nothing is going to be perfect. Even, you know, anytime anybody's in maintenance and you have a blip in the radar, think back to all of your graphs of how you were losing weight and you were here and you're going to. down but then you went up like there's always going to be ups and downs and you just have to all remember and be kind to ourselves and know that that's part of the process what's the thing that surprised you most about maintenance what surprised me most about maintenance um i think the thing is
Starting point is 00:10:31 is trying to find that how do i say it like a new routine we're so used to breakfast snack lunch snack snack snack dinner so the thing about maintenance is trying to get more into a bit of normalcy, I'd say that was one of the things that was most surprising is, okay, there's like ways to do this where I'm not necessarily on a clock and on a schedule and whatnot. I'd say the other thing, when you're in the mindset of not necessarily caring as much about every day and what you're losing, you realize things like going on trips. You don't have to focus on every second and what you're eating because you're going to be just fine. I think so many of us have gone on vacation and gone, wow, I actually lost weight while
Starting point is 00:11:15 I was away or I ate all of these things and I didn't gain a pound or I just gained a little bit and a couple of days later, it was just water weight and it's gone after you get off the plane. So I think those are the things that are most surprising is that you can just, you can live life after. So today, this, we're week 11, week 12, so personalized in the plan this week. Can you see how now looking back when we first introduced personalized in the plan, it's purpose and its use case scenario in maintenance? Like, how can you kind of articulate for people who are like, oh, I'm nervous, I don't get this personalized in the plan, how am I supposed to continue to lose weight, how it's going to
Starting point is 00:11:50 factor in? Any words of advice? Yeah. I mean, I think that for certain people, and I can say I was absolutely one of these, you know, some people go in and you're focusing on what you're being asked to do, right? So you're, you know, being told do this at this point and do this at this point. And you start to get more in tune with your hunger levels and what you're craving and not and whatnot. And so I'd say personalizing the plan is really that bridge into, you know, being in touch with what you need and starting to control your own journey as opposed to following on the step by step.
Starting point is 00:12:27 But doing it in a way where you have the tools to structure it, if that makes sense. Yeah, that makes great sense. makes perfect sense. You were just working out or just starting to work out, I think last time we talked or just got into working out. You still doing that? I, you know what, at the time, and here's where we all can be like, honest and whatnot. It was one of my things where I'm like, hey, that's the next thing I'm going to do. Have I been great at it? No. Have I, you know, still focused on walking and all of that? Yes. But we were actually just talking about joining a gym and doing that together and getting that into our routine.
Starting point is 00:13:04 So that's, you know, part of the next step for me. Love that. People talk about the food noise. So many people are like they've got that food noise. How do you feel about that food noise now? Do you still have that? Sometimes I do it never fully goes away. You know, sometimes you're really good and sometimes you may slip up a little bit
Starting point is 00:13:24 and have to go back on track. But, you know, in this program, you arm us to be able to block out that noise and to see past the noise. So if it ever comes back, we know what it's like to not have it. We know it's possible to eliminate it. So you just need to like, you know, tweak a couple things and get back there. Do you think you'll ever get to a place where you kind of, is it a work in progress or like how are you feeling about it? What's your, yeah, what's your viewpoint now in the future with your weight and how you're feeling, not just physically, but mentally? Yeah, I mean, I think I'm at the point where I recognize that you can't take anything for granted.
Starting point is 00:14:01 So there's always going to need to be an element of mindfulness. And mindfulness doesn't need to be, you know, fixation and whatnot on following something. But just, you know, being able to see certain cues and whatnot and being able to adjust as we go. So I'm excited about the future. And I know I have all the tools that I need to adapt to life and what. whatever life throws at me, but is the noise ever going to be completely gone? I don't think it'll be for any of us. But can we handle it? Absolutely. Yeah. Well, it's, and we, you know, it's our brain has functioned one way for so long, right? You need to give yourself an opportunity to live a completely different way. Do you, is life different? Have you noticed life different? Like, are you like, I know that's a weird question, but do you ever sometimes be like, okay? like the nuance. So we had a conversation today with Tanya Jalsamino and we were talking about, you know,
Starting point is 00:15:04 shopping for new clothes and dressing your changing body and how people feel like they're treated differently versus when they were in a larger body versus now in a smaller body. And that's kind of sad. And people feel ways about that. Are you noticing any of that? Certain things, yes. I mean, you have to adjust to being a new version of you. I think what we all recognize is at the core, we're still ourselves, but oftentimes we're a better
Starting point is 00:15:31 version of ourself. And it's the confidence piece that comes into it all. And I think that's what makes us all different in a really good way. You know, when I think about things being different, even if I'm not focused on a specific food plan, when I'm at a restaurant, I eat totally different than I would have before. Like, I still do not have that appeal to get pasta or pizza or anything like that. And I remember when I started on the program and I thought, you know, my go-to was always pasta. Always. Without fail, that's what I would order on a menu. And so you think going into this that it's going to feel restrictive and you're going to go and be like, oh, I wish I could have that, but I can't. But I started looking at the menu and seeing pasta and thinking,
Starting point is 00:16:18 there's not enough protein and veg in that. And it just didn't seem like it was going to be satisfying. So stuff like that has really stuck with me where I'm more aware my water is still everywhere I go. And that is not going to leave me. I take my magnesium every night before I go to sleep. So there's certain things that are just now a part of my baseline norm that I couldn't imagine being any other way. Okay. You've obviously been hugely successful. Were there moments where you felt like giving up? You know, it's interesting. I think everybody's story is different here. And through the process, in my first three, four programs, I was pretty, not fully straight down. I had my ups and downs, but not enough to make me feel like I wanted to give up.
Starting point is 00:17:08 I always felt really, I don't know if you say protected by the program, but I just had such a great support and believed in it so much that I didn't really feel like I wanted to give up, almost post that coming from a point of, you know, losing so much weight and then starting to see the scale go up. There's moments where you could feel like, oh, defeated or whatnot. But then you just have to remember how far you've come and that you have the tools that you need to adapt. So yeah, did I ever feel like I wanted to give up in the moment? No, because I felt so much better being on the program than I did before. So yeah, for me, no, I never felt like I wanted to give up.
Starting point is 00:17:50 Did it surprise you the ebb and flow? I find that people when they get into maintenance, they think, okay, well, I've reached my goal weight. It's a certain number. And then I'm just going to stay at that number. And that's how it is. And even I've been able to maintain my weight for the most part consistently for, you know, 30, I think, God, I keep getting older, whatever it is, 35 years now.
Starting point is 00:18:08 But I'm at the low end sometimes. And I'm at the higher end. And then I go past the higher end. And I'm like, okay, I don't feel. good. Now what do I got to do to kind of like, that's the norm. Did that surprise you? I mean, I know you heard us talking about it, but did it surprise you? A little bit. Like, you don't expect the scale to go up when you're used to it going down. But, you know, we also talk about our lowest low. And when you're going through this process, you don't necessarily know what your finish is
Starting point is 00:18:39 going to be. And I always think back to how you talk about how it's a feel. not a number and so you just have to trust in yourself to go okay when is that right feeling because I was you know a certain weight but is that the sustainable finally forever for me or like as you say you have your low and your high and you kind of you know move between that well that's sort of like people trying to reach their lowest low I'm like you're trying to reach your lowest low but is that the life that you want to live do you want to be watching everything that you eat all the or do you want to have some snacks before dinner, which is going to cause the scale to fluctuate? And that's so normal, right?
Starting point is 00:19:20 Like, this is why, did your why in maintenance have to change? Did you find there was a bit of a motivation, like you to change your motivation there? It is. And it's almost like your motivation, like in the process, you know, that I just want to feel good and I want to live a healthy, strong life and all those pieces. So, you know, from a maintenance perspective, we've learned so much. you know, throughout the journey about, you know, changes in our life that make us feel better. And, you know, really it's about wanting to sustain that. And then if all of a sudden you need to alter the course of what you're doing and get back on track or whatnot, that's almost when a
Starting point is 00:19:58 motivation has to come in to tweak things a little bit. It's almost like exercise. You know, you exercise, you get into a good rhythm, you feel fantastic and then you don't exercise, you feel crappy and you start it and you stop it and whatever. And then you get back into it again and you feel amazing, kind of like, and I don't want to say managing our wades. Well, yeah, managing our weight is kind of like that. There are times where you're making healthier choices in life and everything's easy and aligned. And then other times where, you know, I say you're eating chips for breakfast and, you know, so let's talk about, again, back to you being successful. What if you could pick three reasons why you were successful, what would it be? Three reasons why I was successful. Yeah, I would
Starting point is 00:20:43 say when I think about starting off, and for those of me who don't know my journey, it started off as a friend and neighbor inviting a group of women to do a healthy, get healthier 50-day challenge. And we could do it in whatever way we wanted and we would celebrate whoever lost the highest percentage of body fat at the end. And I remember thinking, oh, I don't want to do this, even though I visibly had the most amount of weight to lose out of everybody. But I did it. and with no expectation. And I think that was the biggest thing. Going in with no expectation and going day by day, I realized how much better I felt being on this program. And that was one of the things that I would say was really influential in me continuing on because I couldn't imagine doing it any
Starting point is 00:21:34 other way. I couldn't imagine going back to the way I felt before. So that would be one of them. and that element of mindfulness that we talk about, I think it's being mindful not only to what you're doing and making choices that way, but also how you're feeling, right? Like, we had food noise before. We never knew that that was a thing. So being mindful of what's going around. But yeah, so if I think back again to like the three main reasons why I was successful, a big part of it was feeling good and wanting to keep going. The second part was knowing that this was real life. You weren't doing something where it was have a shake for breakfast and don't eat for
Starting point is 00:22:14 10 hours and then do something else. Like everything was logical to me in this program and that's what made it so sustainable because you're not suggesting that people do anything crazy. And then I think the other thing overall, three. The third one I would say is probably the community and getting comfort. with talking to one another about what's going on, that helps as well because you have others, you know, in the same process as you. So yeah, if I were to answer this early on, it would be different. But now that I've gone through the journey, that's probably it. It's,
Starting point is 00:22:53 it's feeling a lot better, having something that's sustainable and then having all these people around you that can support you no matter, you know, which way you go from there. I love the, I love when you said you had no expectations. Did you get expectations, the more programs that you did? Because, you know, like, you know, first program you lost 38, then 30, then 14. And like, would you, was there an expectation after you started doing the program? That's a really interesting question and kind of makes me dig deep on that one. I didn't take for granted as I went.
Starting point is 00:23:32 And every time I lost weight or saw that progression, even if it was a, an up or down, wasn't that it was a pleasant surprise because I was putting the work in. It never really felt like work. It just felt right. You know, but it was the byproduct of what I was doing. So from that perspective, I don't know, there wasn't expectation necessarily to lose. I don't know. Yeah. I love what you said, the byproduct of what you were doing, because, you know, the story you probably heard it a million times when I first came up with the idea of the program, I would sell it to people as a lifestyle program. And they'd be like, well, I just want to lose weight. I'm like, no, weight loss is like the byproduct of making these lifestyle changes. And of course, no one wanted to buy that. They were like, I just want to lose weight. Yeah, I think I was never in it in a hunt to be a certain weight, but my weight kept dropping. So I think that's the difference with it. wasn't necessarily a specific expectation because I wasn't gunning for a specific number, just like the 50-day challenge. I wasn't in it to win it, but all of a sudden, it just kept happening.
Starting point is 00:24:45 And that motivates you to keep going. You know, I'm just thinking back, I'm reminiscing about our last conversation. That's one of the big takeaways with you is your whole attitude and your whole vibe and your whole energy about a process that can feel very, like, hopeless for some people and feel like it's never going to happen. What would your advice be to someone who's just like, oh, man, like I'm so far away. I'm never going to get there. What would your advice be? So it's interesting. I went back and I even looked at what I put together the first time around. And, you know, I think it's all true. So one of the things I would say is trust in the process and take
Starting point is 00:25:24 it one day at a time, but also make sure that even though you're going day by day, take a step back as well and recognize how far you've come because it's unbelievable. Sometimes in the moment you don't see it, but take that step back. Grasp what you could control and reframe your mindset if needed. So, you know, certain things can feel like hurdles and you can kind of trip yourself up. So, you know, I think about travel and moving out to Vancouver and, you know, starting a new role in my company, I was going to be traveling more. And to a lot of people, that seems. like I'm not going to be able to eat properly while I'm on the road and whatnot, but I bring Ziploc bags with me wherever I go. I have all my things. I, you know, have my little lunch bag.
Starting point is 00:26:11 There's usually, um, uh, mini bars at hotels and whatnot. Like, it's totally possible. I even think about breakfast. Sometimes instead of going out for breakfast, I'd go to the grocery store and buy a container or cottage cheese and have some of that. Like it's all possible. So, you know, think about what you can control and catch yourself. If you're getting negative or thinking that something's a hurdle, just figure out how you can plan for it for it to not be a hurdle. Take measurements. That's one thing. I am so glad at the beginning of my challenge that was recommended to everybody. Like it's one thing, you know, to you have your weight as a guide, but sometimes your weight might not be moving, but your waist is a different size or your arms are a different size or whatnot. So that was
Starting point is 00:26:59 one, take measurements and take pictures from different angles. Because I remember, even in my first program where I still had a lot of weight to lose from that point, but hey, I'd lost a lot. Seeing those pictures, I was like, how is it possible in 91 days to have been able to do this? So, you know, being able to see that, visuals are always amazing. Find your easy ways to level up. And that's going to be different person by person, but we all have our ways. And, you know, for some of us, you know, certain things are easier than others, whether it's, you know, I have like a chia, chia hemp flaxseed mix that I put on everything, whether it's eggs, cottage cheese, salad, whatever it ends up being easy way to level up. And also for me,
Starting point is 00:27:46 this big water bottle is, it goes everywhere with me. And, you know, I always knew the importance of drinking water, but when you have a glass in front of you, personally, for me, everybody's different. But I find if you just have a glass and you have to go fill it up every time, I don't do it. But when I have it in front of me, I just mindless, like I'll just, you know, drink it as I go. It's an easy thing for me. So, you know, find your ways for things to feel easier or not as difficult. And then it'll amaze you how you can accomplish so much more that way. Like this water bottle, like it's hilarious. I look at it. There's dense and scratches all over it because it comes everywhere and it's just a part of me. Yeah. You make it also. You make it
Starting point is 00:28:27 all sounds so easy. I recognize it's not, but it's momentum. Everybody has to remember that. There is momentum to everything that we do. And you may be having a bad day or a bad moment or life might smack you upside. But at the end of the day, just like go back and think about the positive things that have happened. And remember, there's so much more where that came from. And you have to work. I was just at this workshop talking about mental models. You really have to work at having a more positive mental model and seeing things from a different perspective. Otherwise, you can just be in a silo. And if you're frustrated, all you're constantly doing is looking for things that validate
Starting point is 00:29:04 how you feel rather than making that conscious choice. Do you gratitude journal? Are you listening to podcasts, reading any books that help you with your mindset? No. I mean, the only podcast that I really focus on is yours. And that's the, that was what really got me out. walking at the beginning because I could listen to it and it was that positivity. I find I prefer listening to the podcast more walking than I do driving, which is interesting. I just take it in in a different way. But no, from a positivity perspective, it's just something that's always been innate in me where I try to be that. I don't even know if I try. It's just in me. But one of the things that I'd give advice to people on is we're sometimes better at giving advice to others than we are taking it for ourselves. So if you're ever in a rut, almost take a step back and think about if somebody were explaining
Starting point is 00:29:58 the situation to me, what would I say to them? Because chances are you'd give them really good advice and then you almost have to take your own advice. Yeah. I love that. Okay, before we go, the program is coming to an end. It's people are going to be rolling into the Christmas break. They're nervous about what's going to happen in between that break. Just any words of wisdom for people who are feeling a little unsure about the break? Don't be nervous. I think about my first round and the first time I did this program,
Starting point is 00:30:33 I started in September, you know, just like we're in right now, and I finished just before Christmas, and I worried. I was like, oh, how's this going to go? And especially if it's your first program and you have that in-between period, I lost weight in between my first and second program. I lost weight in between my first and second program.
Starting point is 00:30:48 I lost weight in between my second and third program, but I wasn't in it to lose weight. So if you go in with that expectation that you must, you're not setting yourself up for success. Think about all the tools, the things that you've learned along the way follow that, but also give yourself grace. Whatever holiday it is that you're celebrating or not, just enjoy the break. You know, it's okay to have a couple bites and bits. I remember, you know, if it's the stuffing at the dinner or whatever, have a little. little bit. That little bit is not going to throw things off. And your weight might be up the next day. But
Starting point is 00:31:24 then it's going to come down. You know, so you just, you have all of the right tools, go in with the right mindset, but also just enjoy the season. And there's next program next home around, right? I need you to join me every week to pump us up and get us into like that, you know, just like super jazz mindset. It's, I love it. I love it. I adore you. I always enjoy. conversation you're going to have to come back again and again and again um i can't believe how quickly the time went we got to go um your your viewpoint on like what do you expect where do you expect to be a year from now two years from now i expect to be happy living life you know when i think about where i am down there it's not about what my weight is going to be it's just going to be
Starting point is 00:32:11 active living my life enjoying traveling you know being in love all of those things But, yeah, I don't see a number when I think about where I am a couple of years from now. It's just doing my thing and being healthy and happy. My goodness. Well, that gives us all something to work towards and work for. Thank you so much for joining me today. I appreciate you. Thank you.
Starting point is 00:32:37 Oh, my goodness. I just so often we talk about struggle here because so many people are struggling for so many reasons. It's a very personal and profound journey. And I don't think the word refreshing, it's not ever, it wasn't a, it's not refreshing. It's reframing. Sometimes we need to see what our journey could let look like. And I'm talking from experience. We can all get in our own mind and, you know, make our problems worse than they are.
Starting point is 00:33:11 And, you know, we want to validate how we're feeling. And so many times we're the ones that are getting in the way of doing the way of doing the things that we need to do, which is really interesting. So I love Stacey's whole outlook and perspective and the energy that she brings to the process. It doesn't make it any more successful, her any more successful than anyone else. No, not necessarily. But sometimes I think we need to see it and be like, oh yeah, I don't have to be stressing about every little thing. I can actually be successful by showing up with a more positive or maybe that's not the right word, a more optimistic mindset. But don't get that wrong. That obviously is that's a lot of
Starting point is 00:33:52 work to maintain that outlook. It was a great conversation, Christina, thanks you for saying. Love that conversation, right? And again, the people who have joined me over the last few weeks, it's not about how much weight you have lost. That's not it. I think it's being able to connect with someone's journey, connect with a part of their story. I'm hoping that what you've experienced over the last few weeks is, you know, some aha moments or you're like, huh, okay, that makes you think. I know Stacey joined me before, but it's never an easy thing to sit up here and share your journey, your experience and your feelings with everything, with everyone. So thanks to Stacey for joining me today. I'm going to be going live tomorrow. I honestly, I don't know if I
Starting point is 00:34:34 have a guest or not. That's where my brain is at. I'm going to be heading downtown, Toronto. I'm going to be receiving an award. Oh, the tweak this week. Thank you. Thanks, guys. The tweak this week tomorrow. Kim's going to join me. And we're going to talk about the tweak this week.
Starting point is 00:34:50 We're going to answer some of the questions that you have about next steps. We are far from done. Of course, you want to make sure you really understand personalizing the plan, hence the tweak this week. So make sure you join us tomorrow. And if you can't join us live. Join us after the fact. I'm totally rambling at this point. Have a great rest of your night, everyone.
Starting point is 00:35:04 And I'll see you tomorrow. Bye. Thank you.
