Well, this is the place. This podcast is hosted on Acast, but it's available on all podcast platforms, including the one you're listening to right now, Spotify, Apple,
Starting point is 00:00:31 and Amazon Music. Welcome to the tweak this week. It is week 12, our final week of our fall 2024 program, which means it is coming to an end, but we're going to be back. We're going to be back in January. January 6th is the start date of our next weight loss program. It also is the start date of our next maintenance program. So the conversation this week, definitely get and keep that scale moving for those of you looking to do that. But it is definitely time to discuss maintenance for people who are ready because the reality is people lose their weight with the Libby method, and then they need to move on and focus on being able to maintain and sustain their weight. Joining me today as always is Kim, who is the manager of our weight loss program and Odette,
Starting point is 00:01:38 who is the manager of our maintenance program. Hello ladies. Hello. I'm so excited to have Odette here, not just because she gets to do all the work today, but also because I feel like this is like a Christmas gift for people to have them, you know, have someplace to go after they finish losing their weight and us having a plan for them and helping them make a plan is really special. Nice. All right. So I guess we should get into talking about maintenance because you're here. Oh dad. And that's what you came for. What let's start with where people are at and how they are feeling first, Kim. Yeah. So lots of questions about next steps going on in the group. I love that everybody's kind of figuring out what they need to
Starting point is 00:02:22 do now. You know, they're asking about things like apps, app access, what do I need to do if I still need to lose, but more it's like, what do I do if I'm done? And I think there's a definite nervousness around maintenance. There seems to be some just feeling ways about stepping outside of the comfort zone of the weight loss group. And that's what I mean by being special to have someplace for them to go. There's that transition. You still can have that comfort. We provide a lot of routine and a lot of information in the weight loss group. And I think back in the past, before we had the maintenance program and the maintenance
Starting point is 00:03:02 group to go to, people were sort of felt like, you know, the floor was pulled out from underneath them when they got to their goal, as it is with a lot of other programs. So the nervousness, we did have one comment, a member, Teresa said, is it okay to be nervous as hell going into maintenance? I now know what to do to lose weight, but maintaining, it seems like diving off the third tower. I know I'll be listening in on the weight loss group because I'll miss Gina checking in every day, but how do I maintain for the long haul?
Starting point is 00:03:34 My calmness around food and maintenance. Um, my why isn't is to stay healthy rather than get healthy now. Yeah. You do the maintenance program. That's what you do. You do the maintenance program. That's what you do. You do the maintenance program. The maintenance group and program has been through an evolution. It is now at a place where it is a solid 91 day program geared towards maintenance, same, same food plan, but everything, all the verbiage, all of your efforts are now geared towards the fact that you are in maintenance and you need to learn just like she learned what she needed to do to lose weight. You need to learn
Starting point is 00:04:09 what you need to do to be able to maintain and sustain your weight. There was a time where the Libby Method weight loss program did not have an app. It did not have a book. It did not have a lot of things. And so our maintenance program is a proper maintenance program. It doesn't have an app yet. We are working on that. It doesn't have a book yet, but it is a solid 91 day program with its own independent information. So before we go one step closer to this conversation, I are going to personalize the plan in between holidays to continue to lose weight and set you up for success in the weight loss program. Or you're going to continue to personalize the plan and then set yourself up for success to start the maintenance program. So it's the same step, regardless of whether you're continuing to lose weight or you're ready for maintenance. You want to ideally personalize the plan in between groups. So make sure you're
Starting point is 00:05:02 clear on that. Some people I know are falling back onto the basic food plan. That's okay too. I don't have a problem with that. Just make sure you're clear. So let's now talk about the maintenance program. Oh, dad, what the fuck is the maintenance program and how does it work? Well, do we, how long do we have? Cause I've got, I got a lot to say. So I love 15 minutes. Okay. I'll talk fast. So I love off the top that you said it has evolved. It's been an evolution because it really has been. We're two and a half years in now. And this program has come from a place of not only Dr. Ruth's research and focus groups, but we've learned from our members what they need and what it takes to be able to sustain
Starting point is 00:05:44 and maintain your weight. So, you know, triggers that you have to work through, solidifying habits and routines, and how do you not slide back into old ones that didn't serve you. So the maintenance program, we don't just talk about, you know, issues and associations are going to come up, we talk about what those issues and associations actually are, and what happens when you're faced with them and how to work through them. And every stage, every day, every week of this 91 day program is a learning opportunity. It's helping you learn how you're going to sustain and maintain your weight in the long term. I think that comment off the top there, Kim, how you said she's you know scared or or fearful and I think what we've learned from our members
Starting point is 00:06:26 is they all come with that feeling she's not alone but what happens so quickly you know I don't mean quickly like overnight but what happens quickly is that fear can turn into hope because they've never been in a maintenance program before they don't't know what that means. So you're almost, you know, coming into it blindly. And then once you are in it and you are taking part in it and you're reading the information and you're interacting with the members, that hope starts to build. And from that hope, you can build trust, you can build confidence, and you know you'll be able to get to where you want to be. There's a lot of feels. And I think if you take it back to that question or concern that that woman had, nervousness, fearful, we've learned that trust is a big word, learning to trust that
Starting point is 00:07:14 they're going to be able to maintain and sustain their weight. To your point, Odette, everyone has lost their weight, gained them back, lost their weight, gained them back. Not a lot of people have experienced maintenance. And so that is kind of new territory for them. There are a lot of feels. Just because you are done losing weight physically, we now know, doesn't mean that you are done mentally continuing to work through all the things. So there's the three stages of the Libby Method. There's lose your weight. So do as many rounds of the weight loss program as you need until you reach your goal. Then the second stage is solidifying and maintaining your weight. It is just as important to solidify physically the changes your body has made, allow your new weight to become your new norm, but also to solidify your new mindset, solidify those new habits that you've created.
Starting point is 00:08:03 And then once you've done at least another round, done a round of the maintenance program, then you want to spend some time in maintenance, just trying to understand what maintenance now looks like and feels like to you. Until you are getting to a place where you are ready to live the living way, take the things that you've learned and just live by being in tune to your body's needs. What we've learned is that can be different for everybody. One person may need to spend a few weeks, you know, trying to, until they get to a place where they're ready to move on. And some people are still two years later and trying to solidify that mindset and, and, and move on. What can people expect when they sign up for
Starting point is 00:08:40 the maintenance program then? So they can expect that it's, it is a day-to-day structured program, guided program, where before we didn't have that. So now it's there. So they come in January 6th, it's the first day we start. They're going to see a lot of the same information, topics of information. So it's, it is familiar, but the messaging is going to be very different. So we check in, I check in every day, Monday to Friday, we check in, this is what you need to think about today. This is what is going on today, or this is what you want to focus on today. So that is the first thing that they're going to come in, check in. Then they're going to see a weekly bulletin, just talking through the
Starting point is 00:09:18 ins and outs of the group. They're going to see the weekly bulletin. They're going to know what's coming up for the week. And they can kind of prepare themselves, get their heads wrapped around it. We have guest experts. You go live in there on Mondays. We have a panel conversation on Wednesdays where we talk things maintenance and what's going on in the group. But then they're also going to have support. So if they're if they are feeling ways, you know, our whole team is in there to help answer their questions, guide them through the program, and just kind of help them day to day go through it. But, you know, the tweaks are going to set are going to be familiar, they're going to rely on tools that they've learned in the weight loss. During the weight loss program, they're going to pull those tools back out. So those are familiar. And we're just
Starting point is 00:09:59 going to really talk and solidify habits, routines. One thing we're really going to talk about is helping them identify who they are now. You know, who are they now? If they're not a dieter anymore, who are they now? How do they understand who this person is and what this person needs? And you could be the same person at the core of everything, but your lifestyle might be a bit different. Your belief system, you know, is a little bit different. So we're going to help you learn and acknowledge and embrace that identity, which will help you move on to, you know, living the Libby way and just living your life. And I think the other thing that they can expect there is we are not expecting it to go perfectly. You haven't lost your weight and now everything is smooth sailing, they're going to be bumps in the
Starting point is 00:10:45 road. You know, we talked about the struggle bus and weight loss. There is a bit of that happening in the maintenance program as well. You know, you might hit a bit of a roadblock that you need to, you need to overcome and work through. So it's not all smooth sailing. There's a, there's a lot of, you know, working through, working through those things as they come up. Well, yeah, because it's because you're new to maintenance. Whatever you're doing in maintenance, it's no different than the weight loss program. Life is still going to smack you in the face. And this is where you might fall back into old coping mechanisms and whatnot.
Starting point is 00:11:14 Kim, I know, has also spent a lot of time in the maintenance program as well on Wednesdays. We have a weigh-in Wednesday conversation. We've been keeping up to speed with what's happening in terms of the conversation and maintenance. Ladies, what is the one thing that surprised you in the last couple of years about the maintenance program? I think that for me, the biggest surprise was that how much weight you had to lose doesn't seem to have had to lose when you came into the weight loss program doesn't seem to have any correlation to how long it takes you to wrap your head around maintaining I kind of would have thought maybe the opposite like I had a lot of weight to lose I was heavy for a really long time it's going to take me longer to make to figure out how to maintain it. Or, you know, we have like Terry was a great example yesterday, 25 pounds to lose, hadn't been trying to lose for a super long time,
Starting point is 00:12:12 but was struggling when she was trying to lose. And it took her a year to really wrap her brain around it. And, you know, some people might look at that and think like, oh, she was thin most of her life. It'll be easier for her to maintain after she loses weight, or I've always been heavy, it'll be harder for me to maintain. And I seem to be learning that it is very individual. And I think it has more to do with not how much weight you have to lose, or you had to lose how much weight you lost, but more why you gained that weight, and we're not able to lose it in the first place seems to have a bigger effect on the time it takes you to really settle into maintenance. Yeah. And we know this from Ruth and Ruth Kane and her team have studied the efficacy of the living method. We know it works. Now they're studying maintenance piece. And that's one of the takeaways. First of all,
Starting point is 00:12:57 people who, 93% of people who did the maintenance program feel confident about being able to maintain and sustain their weight afterwards. That's really important. And you're right. It's like people who spent more time losing their weight actually had an easier time maintaining their weight because they spent longer working on that mental piece. So it's not always the person who does one and done program and then they go on to maintenance and it's easier for them because just because you're done physically doesn't mean that you are done doing all of the other work that you need to do what about you odette what's the thing that surprised you the most um i think that's the what has surprised me the most is that members that come in and i don't want to say all of them
Starting point is 00:13:41 but a lot of them forget what they know yeah so. So they come in and they think, oh, I'm here. What do I, what do I do next? And they fall back into this place of fear where they don't do things because they're scared of gaining their weight back instead of doing the things that they need to do because, you know, and they won't gain their weight back. So, you know, they, they come in and think, oh, I have to start really watching what I'm eating now because I'm trying to maintain, or I, you know, they come in and think, oh, I have to start really watching what I'm eating now because I'm trying to maintain or I, you know, I have to just really restrict myself now because I am maintaining. So I think when they when they come in and they are we're reminding them, you have the tools that you need.
Starting point is 00:14:18 You just need to rely on them. Don't keep them in your back pocket. Actually use them. So I think that's what surprised me the most. And we slowly start to see that confidence grow. And like, oh, yeah, I can pull myself back up out of a slip. Or I can use the tools that I have. You know, I just have to remember they're there instead of being too fearful to do anything. Don't be paralyzed, you know, from the fear. Put your tools into place. I think that's what surprised me the most is that it's almost like they come with, like, it's brand fear, put your tools into place. I think that's what surprised
Starting point is 00:14:45 me the most is that it's almost like they come with, like it's brand new, but they have the tools. They know what they need to do. Right. And it's the same, but different. And here's, here's Lonnie. I checked into the maintenance recently. I'm still losing. So I will be in weight loss still, but the tweaks sounded the same. So same food plan and tweaks, but for solidifying. So before we had the maintenance program, people would do another round of the weight loss program to solidify their weight because it's all about intention. You know how hard it is to move the dial on the scale. And those same tweaks are still great for working through that mental part of it, getting
Starting point is 00:15:16 even more in tune to your portions, getting even more in tune to your body's needs and whatnot. But the maintenance program is the same but different because it's like, what is the purpose of drinking your water now in maintenance? What is the purpose in downsizing now in maintenance? What is the purpose in getting even more in tune to your portions in maintenance? So just like there's a rhyme and a reason and the weight loss program is multi-layered and leveled, what we've done is taken the information from Ruth Kane and her team who have studied people in maintenance. What are the common themes in maintenance? What are the things people need to focus on? What are the things people need to work on? So same base program, because we have learned what the body loves routine and solidifying is all about helping the body to adjust to your new weight. So your new weight becomes your new norm and your new set point. I want to be very clear that the weight loss program is for losing and the maintenance program is not for people who've come close to reaching their goal.
Starting point is 00:16:11 It's not for people who are still working on the goal. The maintenance program is for people who are done and they are ready to solidify their weight and they are no longer expecting the scale to move. That is really important. Now, I know so many of our members have access to the maintenance program because they bought it just to make sure that they had it or they bought it on sale. I highly suggest you do make sure you have purchased our maintenance program because we are making some adjustments to it and the price will probably go up in the future. But it really is for people who are ready to move past their weight loss journey and now focus on what can I do to make sure I can maintain and sustain this weight. Now, that doesn't mean
Starting point is 00:16:52 that we don't still have conversations of, you know, what happens if you are falling back in old habits and your weight is creeping up. We talk about how to get it back down. We talk, we have conversations about many people who once they've spent time in maintenance decide, you know what? I think like this is great weight for me, but I think I can lose 10 more pounds. I can lose 20 more pounds. I am going to focus on losing again, in which then we suggest that they sign up for the weight loss program and focus on weight loss. So I want to be, there is no blurred line anymore. Weight loss programs for weight loss, maintenance program is for maintaining. Now, if you have signed up for a January program
Starting point is 00:17:30 and you think that you might reach your goal before the program is done, it's still a benefit to follow through, finish out that program, and then start with our new spring maintenance program in the spring. I hope that provides some clarity there. Yeah, I think that's a great point because we saw that and we still see that, that members kind of have one foot in each program. And so, you know, they're struggling with both because they're just like, oh, I think I'm still losing, but I want to be part of the maintenance conversation. You know, maybe I am in maintenance. Maybe I'm not, maybe I'm still trying to go for a few more. I think what you said there about the blurred line is, is really important. I think you have to have a really strong intention of, of where you want to be and what you want to do. I think that is,
Starting point is 00:18:17 that's a key point because if you're in maintenance, you're in maintenance. And like you said, we're not, we're not working to get that scale to keep moving. We're not, you know, having those conversations about maximizing all the things to get the scale to move. Maybe you're maximizing all the things because you just want to feel amazing. So I think that's where the intention needs to be really clear. And if you are looking to lose more weight, then stay in the weight loss group. The maintenance group will always be there when you're ready, right? The program will follow that cycle, just like the weight loss group cycle. So I think be very clear on your intention, but also being said, if you are in the maintenance group and you're having a peek around, it can be a safe roadmap for you. You know, you, you,
Starting point is 00:18:57 you know, where, where you're going to land when you are done losing, you can have a peek around, you can see what people are talking about. It's more of a comfortable space to be because you know what to expect. Maybe you come in with a bit less fear, but have a really strong intention of where you are, you know, at that to start. I love that word intention. You can't be in the maintenance program trying to lose weight. It's not going to work. Well, I think that's for people that are close because specifically in that space between groups, people are looking like, oh, maybe I can reach my goal in this and then I'll be ready to maintenance for maintenance in January. But if you're not there yet and you're not ready to make that transition, I think that's a great point about having that place. Like if you're signed up for the January group, go through.
Starting point is 00:19:41 There's no if you end up at your goal partway through the January weight loss program, and there's no harm in finishing out that program and starting to solidify, figure out what you need, you know, um, make sure that you are where you want to be because sometimes when people stop, I feel like I wonder, um, if it's because they're at their goal weight or if they're just like, okay, this is good enough, I'm done, I'm done trying. Or if they're really comfortable where they are and they're not at their goal, there is gray areas in both of those, whether you feel like you're at your weight, but you're not at the number and you're not sure about that, or you feel like you don't want to lose anymore, but you're not sure that you're happy where you are. If you're in that gray area, you're not going to go in with those intentions. So having
Starting point is 00:20:27 the maintenance group available to you so that you can kind of see like, okay, once I'm there, I'll be fine. That little worry about the maintenance program is out of the back of your mind. You have access to it. Stay in the weight loss group, focus on getting to that goal, get hardcore about it and be focused on that. And then you'll be really confident when you start the maintenance program because there won't be questions. Yeah. Don't be wishy-washy about it. You don't want to get caught in no man's zone. If you sign up for the January weight loss program, you have five pounds to lose. The protocol is to follow through and finish that program. That's it. Follow through and finish that program and then sign up for the spring it. Follow through and finish that program
Starting point is 00:21:05 and then sign up for the spring maintenance program, right? Like that's, that's the protocol for that. If you're in the current maintenance program and you decide I want to lose more weight, sign up for our next weight loss program. How we've structured the, because I'm going to have a question about if I buy the maintenance program now, can I use it 10 groups from now? So the way, yeah, if I buy the maintenance program, will I have access to it in 10 rounds or more from here? So the way the, because of the evolution of the maintenance group, that's now turned into a maintenance program that we run three times a year right now, full transparency, we have a pay one price get in right now. You can pick it up for $75 and you're in the group. Now,
Starting point is 00:21:47 the difference between our weight loss programs and our maintenance program is every time we have a new weight loss program, it has a new Facebook support group and it also has an app that goes along with it. When it comes to the maintenance program, there's only one support group regardless of what maintenance program you do. So right now, technically, if you buy into the maintenance program for $75, you can do the winter maintenance program, the spring maintenance program, and the fall maintenance program for the same price. Heads up, we will be changing that structure once we have an app. what we might do is have a monthly subscription service so you can pay and then do as many maintenance programs as you need. Stay in there for as long as you need to have access to
Starting point is 00:22:36 ongoing support for as long as you need. And we also do add other features like Odette mentioned, guest experts. So one of the things that we're going to do is we are going to stream the experts that are in the weight loss program also into the maintenance program because a lot of people like to stick around for the weight loss program for the guest experts. And I don't blame them. I don't blame them. So long story short, right now it's 75 bucks. You pay, you get in, you're in. That's it. And then when we have an app, you'll get be grandfathered and you'll have access to all of that. The price is definitely going up and the structure pay structure is changing, but I don't, I don't know when, I don't know when. Can I just make, I just want to touch on something that you said there about doing as many maintenance programs as you need. And I think I just, just want to say, you know, with the maintenance program,
Starting point is 00:23:26 the 91 days, it's really about solidifying, solidifying your set point, solidifying your mindset. So for some people that takes a little bit longer than 91 days, you know, if you've got more that you need to work through, if you want to maintain that routine of, you know, following the 91 days, using the tweaks day, you know, week over week, that's why you would want to do more than one round of the maintenance program. So what that's really solidifying, and then the maintaining part of stage two is when you are living in a more personalized way, you're testing things out a little bit, maybe you are using back on track, you know, a little bit more often, or you are starting to add in some new foods because you want to see how your body reacts.
Starting point is 00:24:08 That's when that is part of that, that part of stage two, which is the maintaining. So doing the 91 day program is really about solidifying. Let's solidify your set point, but let's get your mindset solidified as well. Let's solidify, you know, that lifestyle and those habits and those routines before you're comfortable to move on to that, you know, maintaining part of it. Love that. Okay. Ladies, I have a question for you. In your experience and all the conversations that we've listened to, how do people know that they've reached their goal? How do they know that they're done moving on from the weight loss journey? Oh, that's a great question. I would say it's, it is more a mindset and a feeling than a number on the scale. I think a lot of us go into a weight loss program or from all the histories of dieting with a goal weight
Starting point is 00:24:55 in mind. And while it is good to have an idea of where you want to be, I, from what I've picked up from, especially all the conversations in the maintenance group, that sort of aha moment or calm comes to them where they just like, I feel like I'm happy. I stopped weighing myself every day. I stopped checking in on the app and tracking because I felt like I was really there. And I was waking up feeling good and looking good. And I think that's been my, that to me, what I've learned all this time is it has much more to do with getting to that feeling of being happy with where you are and feeling good in your skin and feeling
Starting point is 00:25:36 good in general than it does a number on the scale. I think initially it can be that number on the scale. You know, I think initially when people that's if you've been a dieter in the past, you're going for that goal weight. You know, I think so they get to this number on the scale. I think, OK, I'm done. And then they come to the maintenance group and then they don't see that number on the scale continue at the lowest low. So I think they need to open their mindset and realize that it goes beyond the number on the scale just like Kim said I think you know when you feel good where you are and even in maintenance your your your weight can drop I mean you know we've had that happen to our maintenance members where they do go below their lowest or they do go below their goal weight and then maybe it comes up you know a
Starting point is 00:26:21 few pounds here and there so I think how do they know they're done? I think if the number on the scale is their indicator, that's okay. That can be your number, that can be the way you know you're done. But when you come to maintenance, I think you'll find that it does become, like Kim said, it becomes more than that. It becomes more of a feeling and being more in tune. And when you feel good, it doesn't really matter what the number on the scale says. Yeah. I was going to also, my next question was going to be like, how do people know when they're ready to move on to that third stage, that living the Livvy way, taking the tools. But we had a guest yesterday. I don't know, Odette, if you had an opportunity to listen to Terry Paisley. She's been in maintenance for a while. She was just the epitome of where we want everyone to go.
Starting point is 00:27:03 This place where you're calm around food. She just like I if you are wondering what maintenance is all about, or you're wondering what the end game is, what the goal is, what what is next, I would highly suggest you listen to that real people real journey conversation with Terry Paisley from yesterday. She's done the work. She's done the work and she is at the place where we want everybody to be. But what would you add to that, Odette? So how do they know they're ready for stage three? I think for everybody it's different, but I think, yeah, it's that calm calmness I think it's when they have had a few things potentially a few things they've had to go through maybe it's situational change
Starting point is 00:27:51 and they have been able to bring themselves to the other side of it with a sense of calmness and not fear so when when you are in that maintaining stage where you are taking in every single learning opportunity they might not all go well and they might not all go the way you want them to. But I think when you get to a place where something does happen to you or life does smack you in the face, you have that belief that you're going to be able to get through it without spiraling back or sliding back. I think maybe that's when you're ready to go. It's more than just the food and being calmer on food, which is such a huge part of it. But it's also about realizing that you have these new coping mechanisms. You have solidified these habits and routines that are going to carry you forward and carry you through. So I think it's really a feeling. And I remember probably two years ago, we had a member come on in maintenance and they said they were looking
Starting point is 00:28:49 for that line in the sand. They were looking for that point where they were like, oh, here I am. I'm ready to just go and live my life. And it never happened. It was like kind of a gradual thing where they just felt it and then they knew they were there. So I think you'll, you just know when you know, but I think it's, there's no line. You just, you'll feel it and you'll know it. And what I love about the maintenance program, it'll be there for you until you get to that point. And so if you envision perhaps you're doing the January weight loss program, you're ready for the maintenance program in the spring,
Starting point is 00:29:23 you solidify your weight, you go through the summer, everything is great, go through the fall. And then your first holiday season comes and you might fall back into old habits or whatever. And that's where you're going to have the support of the maintenance group there, where you can talk to other members, you can reach out and ask for support and questions. No doubt we'll have posts there to support people on their journey. So beyond the guided 91-day maintenance program are also in posts that are there to remind you of the things that you need to do to elevate the learning opportunities to, you know, come together with the community. We recognize and we learned a lot about what people need in all stages of their maintenance journey. And you're going to get that with the maintenance group itself beyond the program.
Starting point is 00:30:12 Okay. We are out of time. What do you want? This is the last. Is this our last? This is our last conversation. It is. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:30:19 Over last week. Yeah. All right. But Kim, what do you, as a manager of the weight loss program, uh, and then Odette as someone that someone may be transitioning to what would, and, and, and being members yourself, having been through the program, let's go with that. It's, it's the holiday season, the fall program's coming to an end. What are some, what do you want to share with our members? Um, I think I'll, I'm going to get emotional because I love this week I'm so proud of everybody who's still here 12 weeks is huge like such a big
Starting point is 00:30:52 accomplishment so take time to be proud of yourself and what you've accomplished because like people have made major changes even if it's just a change in their mindset and not if you haven't your scale has hardly moved. Think of all you've accomplished, all the things you've done for yourself over the past 12 weeks and be so proud of yourself. And if you're not where you want to be yet, think about what, think about who you want to be next year when you start the winter 2025
Starting point is 00:31:23 program and put a little plan into your place. Use this time between groups to reflect on what you maybe didn't do as well as you wanted to in this past group and how you're just going to take what you learned from that in this group and use it to be even more successful in the next group. Because you're the only one putting a timeline on yourself for your weight loss not put on you by anybody else and it's going to take the time it takes to get there so don't beat yourself up if it's not the timeline you thought it was going to be or the timeline that somebody else had for you like us in our 91 day program you know really just lean into taking ownership of this journey and making it what you need it to be and bringing that attitude with you into the winter 2025 group and when you come to see us in January
Starting point is 00:32:13 love that that's great that's great um I would love to say for those that are ready to move on to maintenance or have already reached the goal that they've set out for themselves. Don't let fear hold you back from, from maintaining. Don't let fear hold you back from moving from one stage to the next. You know, coming into this program, whether you're one or five into it, into the weight loss program, you didn't know what you were going to get. And you stuck around for 12 weeks, right? And same with maintenance. You don't know what you're going to get, but if you just don't let fear hold you back, that you feel like you have to stay tied to one thing, you know, maintenance, you're going to learn and grow and get comfortable and get to know who you are. So don't let, don't, that's what I want to say. Don't let fear hold you back from, from jumping into the next program, into the maintenance program, if you're ready for that.
Starting point is 00:33:07 Love that. And I love you ladies. And I love all of our members who've learned so much in the maintenance program. I was resistant to having a maintenance program. I was like, I'm just going to tell everybody what they need to know and they can figure it out. Boy, was I wrong. I know when to admit when I was wrong and I've learned so much. And a lot of what is now the maintenance program today is based on the feedback that we've received from our members in maintenance. And if I can leave y'all with an ask, if you can take time to fill out the survey that we have in the group, if this is your first program or your 23rd program,
Starting point is 00:33:54 we want to hear from you. Even if you filled it out before, please fill it out again. We want to hear what you love, maybe what you didn't like, what you feel we could add or what we could change. And this isn't just for people who crushed it and did well. If you had a really hard time and you're struggling,
Starting point is 00:34:09 we want to know why and what can we do to better support you. Nothing is off limits. Please just let it all out. Don't edit it. Just tell us what you are feeling. Tell us what you are thinking. Tell us what you want to share and what you want us to know. Also, make sure you enter the giveaway. All you have to do is tell us what you're proud of for your chance to win some fun swag. And most importantly,
Starting point is 00:34:34 please stop by the Celebrate and Inspire post. This really is a place for you to be proud of yourself, to own what you have done. And it doesn't matter what the number on the scale. It doesn't matter what you didn't do. Let's look and point out the things that you did do and the non-scale victories.
Starting point is 00:34:51 We love before and afters. If you got them, post them. We love nothing more, but you do not need to have crushed the program or have an amazing before and after to take part. It is for everybody. Thanks so much for the last 12 weeks. Thanks for putting your faith in the Libby method. Thanks for joining us. Cause I know I was, I know I can speak for these ladies. We love having these conversations. We love talking about this. Odette and Kim, as always, thank you so much for joining me. Thank you.
