New season, new name, bigger conversations.
Welcome to Live Lighter with Gina, because lightness isn't something you find.
It's something you create in your body, your mind, your home, and in your life.
Real conversations, no bullshit.
So let's lighten things up for you.
If you're looking to lose weight and you want to keep it off, you have got to check out the
living method.
Better than ever, easy to follow.
We have the most incredible community, and it works.
head over to living method.com to sign out today.
I'm going to switch out these.
I thought, I feel like a hot mess.
So I just thought, oh, I just put on some glamorous earrings,
but I can't, I can't deal with them today.
Hi, Kim.
Oh, good morning.
How are you?
Good.
For anyone new to our program who haven't had an opportunity to meet Kim yet,
this is Kim.
She is the manager of our weight loss program.
She basically knows everything and anything that's going on,
including all the comments and questions.
One of the things that we do is we keep an eye out on what are some of the things that our members want to talk about, where are they at, especially as we start to introduce these tweaks or changes to the food plan each week.
So this week is downsizing. Before we get into it, how are you feeling? How are you, are you good?
I'm good. I think probably feeling like a lot of Canada is today. My eyes are very puffy. I have a turkey hangover.
And as I sort of was thinking ahead last week, what a terrible week for us to throw down.
sizing at people. How dare we? Well, it's very apologetic on the check-ins on the weekend. I was like,
do it, don't do it. It's fine. Listen, none of these tweaks are going to make or break your weight
journey. They are an opportunity to shake things up. So get the body's attention physically,
to get your attention mentally, to break the patterns. They're meant to kind of be like,
what why and also to to help you approach this from a different perspective listen if you still want to
count and weigh your calories have at her right like go ahead do that you know get your macros in do all
of that but i would still attempt the tweaks because even if you don't do them perfectly and i don't
know if there's such a thing is doing them perfectly you're going to learn something about yourself
and and with a check-in today kim you know a big thing that theme that keeps coming up is is struggling to
get back at it after you've been off. And that is so normal. We really need to normalize that.
There's times you're going to be in shape in your life and times you're going to be really out of
shape. There's times you're going to help your house is going to be clean and times where you're
going to be wondering if like you're a hoarder or something. You know, like honestly, that's just the
way that it is. And so, you know, yeah, this tweet couldn't come at a worse time. But I'm here for it.
So many of our members were excited. Yeah. Yeah. I think so what I think especially after, they've
gotten more in tune. People are getting more in tune already, whether you're new to the program or
you're returning. You have already started to get more in tune with how you're feeling when you're
eating. So you probably noticed this weekend if you had a big family dinner, how you felt. And that's
why there's so much excitement. But I think clear to the point of that getting back at it so much a hard time.
Let's start here with this. Coming off of a long weekend, this is really like coming off of the summer,
coming off of Christmas, coming off of any of it, is really when people, that's where it happens.
That's where people start to feel like, oh, I can't crawl back out of the hole I dug for myself,
so to speak.
And so I think even just a little weekend, like Thanksgiving, where it might have just been
one dinner, that's where it actually starts to dig into your brain.
Like, oh, that was good.
I liked eating a lot.
I really don't feel like doing anything today.
So if you guys are here today, you're listening or you're following the program or
you're drinking your water today.
You're already doing that first step in keeping yourself from going in there again.
Yeah.
It's already when you're already when.
Well, here's Cindy, good morning.
wondering if this will be harder for me since I spiraled out of control with all the treats
and foods this weekend.
I'm going to say like, yeah, it will only because you, when you have carbs, you tend to
crave more carbs, right?
You probably didn't get a great sleep.
We probably ate a little later at night.
Maybe we had some alcohol.
when you're tired, you crave more carbs and sugar.
And your body kind of gets used to that.
So it might seem like a bit more of a stark contrast to go from overeating and indulging
to leaving yourself feeling slightly unsatisfied.
I am so ready for it after like my day yesterday.
My body's like, can you just fuck off?
No.
Can we have some leafy greens here, please, June.
Please give me some leafy greens.
Yeah, my body is.
is like, can you just eat a salad?
Definitely feel like I dug a hole.
Yeah, I hear you, right?
Michelle's feeling 95% better, ready for more movement this week, right?
We got some good energy happening in this group.
So if you are struggling, feed off of that, no matter where you are at.
Okay, let's get into downsizing.
Let's get into downsizing.
Yeah.
There was a comment here.
Someone was saying, oh, there's Kim.
I feel like it's been forever since I've been able to check in here.
Hope everyone as well.
Yes, we're just talking about that.
Just talking about that.
I indulge most of the weekend and just that point two.
That means that I was about to lose.
Let's start with a scale.
We have hardly talked about the scale.
Yeah.
Do we start or not?
Yeah, let's start right now.
Let's talk about the scale right now.
It's weird this group, eh?
It's not something we've been talking a lot about, which I love.
Yeah.
But obviously we have that post today talking about what not to do when the scale is up because
your scale is going to go up.
If you got on the scale today and your weight is up, let's start there, you didn't actually
gain real fat.
That's just, you know, salty foods, hard to digest foods, that's your body retaining water.
That's inflammation from those foods.
That's not real weight gain.
But how are people feeling about the scale before we get into downsizing this week?
Because they tend to eat less scale moves.
Yeah, and that is something that did come up. I was checking through the comments on the weekend, and that is one like, hopefully this is a week that gets my scale moving. I think people have been very patient. Thank you for your patience. Up until this point, we haven't really been trying to get the scale moving. We, as in us in the program, I'm sure everyone that is doing the program has been trying to get the scale moving this whole time. But it's really getting yourself set, like setting the stage for you to get the scale moving that we've been doing up until this.
point. So it does feel like, oh, all of a sudden they're having us eat less. That means I'm
going to lose weight now. And it's actually not it. It's not how much. It's not how much we eat.
It's that consistency. So when people see their scale moving at this point, they're not thinking about
I've literally just taking care, such good care of myself for four weeks. Yes. Now the scale's
moving. So it's not necessarily because you're having those few bites less. Yes. Let me talk to that.
If the scale is move is this week.
There's a couple of things that happen this week.
Obviously, this whole program is meant to move for you to lose weight.
And people do tend to see movement around this time who haven't seen any movement yet because
it's just that it's everything that you've been doing building up.
It's that kind of breaking point.
We used to have this great little excerpt from James Clear that talks about an ice cube.
And if you put an ice cube on a table and you heat the room up by 1%
like every hour, for example.
It's like the ice cube doesn't melt.
It doesn't melt.
It doesn't melt.
It doesn't melt.
Even though you're turning the heat up, it doesn't mount, doesn't mount.
And all of a sudden it just reaches the breaking point and it melts.
So all the things that you are doing are adding up.
But what's more interesting, I think, in order to reflect on the scale, is we're doing
downsizing for one week.
So for one week, rather than eat enough to feel satisfied.
So nothing else changes.
Still fall in the food plan, eating all your meals and snacks, you're making the
nutrient rich, you're drinking your water, you're trying to get better sleep, you're moving your
body, you're doing all those things. All you're going to do is eat a few bites less or purposely
leave yourself feeling slightly unsatisfied. So that's the goal this week. But people do perceive
because it's like a diet and eating less, right? Like it's that they should be seeing that scale
move. Sometimes people don't see any movement on the scale this week, but their weight starts to move
next week. And so next week, we're going to bring it back to satisfaction again. And what you're
going to notice is after a week of downsizing, you go back to your regular portions and you're going
to realize you actually feel satisfied on less food. Your body gets used to eating less.
And that is when you see that scale move. So if you, if we're just, I'm giving you a heads up. If the
scale doesn't move for you this week, it doesn't mean that you're doing anything wrong.
And what will happen is the work that you do this week will factor into.
the scale moving when it does move. So just a heads up on that. Yeah. And I think too, that's
talking about the portions and getting less, getting used to eating less. We have a
outstanding number of people who have chosen to serve themselves less this week for downsizing.
So we put up that little graph and we saw on the weekend that a lot of people had commented
that. And then when I popped in this morning and we have the three ways that you can downsize.
Yeah. I find it really interesting that that eating.
eating less and serving yourself less is so popular because to me that feels like more work
to actually serve yourself less.
Yeah.
Well, here's the thing.
Kim and I succumb to this, right?
Because I would rather you portion out what you were normally portioning and then leave a few
bites less on your plate.
But that is very difficult for some people.
It's difficult to see food being left on their plate.
Chances are if that is you, it's because you, your sense.
of satisfaction comes from clearing your plate. No matter how much you put on your plate,
you're done when the food is done. And the problem with that is that that isn't necessarily how
much you needed. That's just how much you've gotten used to consuming. And that's your sense of
satisfaction is very much tied into what portions look like. Right. So when I say it, when it comes to
portions is what they feel like, not about what they look like. That's a perfect example. Your sense of
satisfaction looks like when your plate is done, you've had enough. And so if you're not comfortable
leaving a few bites left on your plate this week, that's okay because we're going to do it again
in another couple weeks. So if you're new to the program, portion out less. But if you portion
out less, I want you to leave yourself open to. If you consume that whole portion and you are still
hungry, go back and get some more and then leave a few bites less of that portion. Right. So this is
this is feelings that tend to pop up food waste issues you don't want to waste food so a great solution
for that is just keep some takeout containers and tupperware and just put those little bits into
tupperware pop them into your fridge and then incorporate them into other meals if food waste is an
issue for you that keeps popping up because you're not going to solve your food waste issues in a week
but we're going to talk about it food scarcity issues and and fear of being hungry oh if i don't eat
all of this now i'm going to be really hungry later which is where if you're
food noise pops in. That's a part of food noise. One of the reasons why we're doing this.
So really dig into those four sets of mindful eating questions. And definitely uncomfortable,
just uncomfortable seeing food on your plate. So I understand that that's the go-to is let me serve
less so then I can still eat all of my food. But pay attention. I don't have a problem with that.
Pay attention to that. Well, and that's the thing. You still have to ask yourself the four mindfulness
questions. And you have to also be open to leaving a few bites of,
that smaller portion that you served because you're just not hungry for it.
You do still need to be in tune.
So it's not like, well, I served myself all of this.
So I am downsizing, but I'm going to eat it all.
If you know you've had enough, at some point you have to learn to stop when you know in your
body that you've had enough instead of cleaning it.
And it doesn't matter how much you serve.
You can serve yourself the wrong amount of food at any time.
You can go to a restaurant and they serve you a giant portion and you're not going to,
you're not always going to get it right when you're sued yourself the right amount of food.
You always have to be prepared to be in tune and be like, oh, I've actually had enough of
this and I don't want anymore.
Yeah, well, you really dig into those four sets of mindful eating questions.
So you want to reflect back on how you felt when you were feeling satisfied versus how
you feel when you're slightly unsatisfied.
So this is practicing.
There is no getting it right.
But can we just talk about buffets?
Because I had two buffets.
I went to a wedding.
I went to a wedding on Saturday.
and then I went to Thanksgiving.
And let me tell you, both times,
and I was pretty conscious about what I was putting on my plate,
both times, just way, I was just like,
what are you doing, Gina?
But I wanted to have this little bit and that little bit
and all the little bits add up.
Like, it's hard.
It's hard because that's a perfect example of me, like,
putting food on my plate.
I'm just going to go and eat, like,
if you clear your plate, that's problematic, right? So there are going to be times in your life
where you have no control over the food on your plate or even restaurants. You go to a restaurant,
you have no control over what's being served to you. And so this is where really getting to that place
where you know the goal, big picture for this is yes, weight loss along the way, but to be able to
trust when to eat, what to eat and how much to eat and know the exact moment that if you take a few
more bites, you're going to feel like you ate too much. There's a couple of things, too,
that happened on this. Taste buds. My friend, I don't know if you saw it on Saturday, Norma joined me.
So Norma's lost, I think, like 70 pounds. And she was talked, she's into portion control,
which you know me. She says that word, and I'm like, portion control is like, I get all butchigotty.
I don't like the word control. But she talked about taste buds. So your taste buds shut off.
once you've had enough.
Like you don't pay attention to this,
but your taste buds actually,
this is where you eat your food
and then all of a sudden
you can't taste it anymore.
Your taste buds are those.
So pay attention to those cues.
This is a learning opportunity.
This is strictly learning,
learning about yourself this week.
And I think if you,
as we do in two weeks,
do this again,
if you are serving yourself less
and that is your go-to this time,
next time,
try leaving a few bites less.
Or try doing the few bites for a few bites
for a few meals. Maybe it's something that's easy for you to dish it back into the container and have
leftovers. I know people have problems with leftovers. They don't want to put small amounts in
containers and save it for later because it seems weird. But I think you need to be okay with doing
a few things that feel weird. Just to experiment and see how you feel. Yes, that uncomfortableness.
You've got to get uncomfortable. And there's a lot of science behind this. That uncomfortableness is where the
change happens. I'm going to say something that's really harsh and I haven't said it in a while
because I love this comment from Kathy because I think it represents how a lot of people feel.
Your body is not a garbage can. Let me say that again and let it resonate. Drop the shoulders,
breathe in. Your body is not a garbage can. And you eating food that your body doesn't need
is not saving food. Let me say that again. You consuming food that your body doesn't,
need is not saving food. It is doing nothing to save money. It is not doing anything to, like,
it's not doing anything. Your body doesn't need it. All that it's doing to is creating a cost
of your body carrying excess fat. And I know that seems really harsh. The only reason I'm saying
that is hoping that for some of you, it clicks. It's an in. And I love this comment by Kathy.
I find it hard to leave a few bites rather than serving less with cost of food.
I can't feel good about wasting it. So serving less helps that.
And I really feel this. I really feel this. And so if you need to go approach it this way,
do that. My hope for you is that as you progress in the moral programs that you do until you reach your goal.
Or if you reach your goal and you're in the maintenance program, this is something that you take on.
and focus on because the problem with that is that that is that is keeping you further away from
actually being in tune with that moment where you know you've had enough and so you can portion
less and then be mindful right and but what happens though I'm going to challenge you what happens
if you portion less and you're you're feeling satisfied before that plate is done what's going
happen then. And this is where portions are what they feel like, not about what they look like. And your
hunger changes every day. So what happens that? So what happens if you portion out less and then you're
eating your food and you realize, okay, I'm starting to feel like I've had enough. Like let's say we're
not downsizing. Let's just say in life, right? You're starting to feel this is like, okay,
I portioned out less going through that buffet or at my dinner table and I still have quite a bit of
food left and I notice I'm getting full. Am I just going to clear my plate? And so sometimes,
and this is why I love this comment, because sometimes the issues go real deep. You think it's about
food waste and saving money, but it's, it's not, it's so much, it is, but it's so much deeper than
that. So this is why I love the containers, pop it in containers, factor it into your other food,
because you can't say, well, I don't want to put this in a container. And if you can, if you don't
want to put it in a container and put it into your fridge and incorporate it into another meal,
it's not about food waste. It's not about what you think it is. Because if it was, you'd be like,
you'd be packing that shit up and making sure you're saving it. So like, that's what I do. We save the
smallest amount of stuff around here. And we get those tiny little containers when we pop it in.
So this is just, this is the kind of thinking that you want to go into, right? So do it however,
you feel comfortable, but I would love for people to think a little bit bigger picture.
So many people feel this way.
I just, I know I'm going on and on, but this is why weight loss is so hard, y'all.
Food waste issues, food scarcity issues, like, especially the cost of food issues.
Like, this is why it's so hard that nobody is talking about.
So I love that share.
I love that share.
Well, and also the ultimate way to save money on your food and on your groceries is to purchase,
cook, serve, and eat exactly what your body wants because you're not wasting. If you're eating
exactly what your body needs in the moment, you're not wasting. So all of these tweaks and everything
we're doing throughout the program is getting you to the point where you know exactly how much
you need to cook, how much you need to make and how much you need to serve. So if it means this week
and maybe in week six when we're downsizing, you feel like you waste a little bit of food or you
pack it away and you don't really like the way it tastes when it's heated up.
uncomfortable for those few moments during those two weeks, is that not worth getting to the end game
where every single day when you serve your food and you make your food, you're making just the right amount.
So there is no waste.
Yeah.
We know statistically that people will end up saving money on groceries because they tend to buy less processed foods.
They tend to actually eat less because they are more in tune to their portion.
So in the end you will end up saving quite a bit of money on your groceries.
we hear that quite a bit. I want to interrupt this program to celebrate Jolene. Hi, everyone. I hope everyone
had a wonderful Thanksgiving. This is the first live I've been able to chime in for. I made it to
Wonderland last week. So into the 100s. Yay me. I have released 30 pounds since April. My scale is up
after this weekend, as I expected, because I was mindful. 60% of the weekend. I love that.
I was probably like 20%.
But I know my new set point and I will now continue my journey in Wonderland.
Oh, that's so great.
Good for you.
I love that.
That's some good vibes.
That's some good vibes.
So this is, this is Thanksgiving.
What I actually love about downsizing is because Thanksgiving is going to come.
Halloween's going to come.
The holidays are going to come.
You know, it's just going to keep coming.
Memorial days where you are sad, things that you're going to celebrate.
They're all going to come.
And so this is like learning how to navigate that because this is one of the things that we talk about in maintenance program.
People lose their weight.
It's not the food that's the problem when maintaining their weight.
It's these things.
It tends to be these things that pop up because it's interesting.
While we're losing weight, I say it's not the pie on Thanksgiving.
That's not it.
However, once you get into maintenance, you can maintain your weight just fine.
And then something like Thanksgiving happens.
and it's not just the food, it's the family, it's the triggers, it's the spiral, it's whatever you
else got going on in your life because everything else is so maintained in your good throughout
the weeks that it's, it is these moments that pop up that can get you and cause that spiral
and cause you to fall back into old habits, right? So it's interesting at some point you're going to
have to deal with these. So yeah, I love that people are into it. I know that's, I feel like this is
the great, this has been a great vibe.
This group in general, everybody's excited to get started.
Everybody's been excited to get into the tweaks.
Yeah.
People are excited to step on the scale and see.
Like, I love that comment.
Like, hey, my scale's up.
I reach one to live on my scale's up, right?
Like, I, it's just, it is about, it's about enjoying.
These people are still enjoying their lives while they're doing this.
Gina, that's the, that's the feeling I get from a lot of the people in the group.
Well, we do want to enjoy.
And I wonder if part of that's, if you talk about control,
when the scale, even if the scale is up today, I think there's some powerful feelings in
understanding that. I understand that I made these choices and this is how the scale is
like reflecting today. I do not need to get on the scale. I got a bellyache. I am so bloated.
I like, but I had, let me just tell you, I would cry over the weekend that I had. I stayed off my
phone. I shut it down. I spent time with my family and my my my cup is full. My heart is full. My
belly is exploding. But I needed this. I needed to indulge in friends and family and food and
laughter. And I even had some wine Saturday at the wedding. Like I just needed to indulge in life for a
moment. And I feel like shitballs physically. But it, it has done wonders for me mentally. And so we want to be
able to enjoy these moments, right? We want to be able to enjoy these times. I love this comment from
Barb, you're right. Everyone's feeling good. I love this week's week. I feel powerful when I look at my
meal and say enough. I don't even give it a thought now, my third program. So I think there's power
in knowing that this is, this is a choice I made and this is how I feel. And knowing that, I know what I need
to do to also get back to feeling my best, you know? So I love that. Yeah. One question that we did have come up a little
bit and it is the the protein conversation that we knew was going to come, which is why we
preed with that post last week on the little places you're getting protein from, but the
protein. So everybody's trying to get X amount of grams of protein per meal, X amount of grams
of protein per day because we're all in menopause, worried about this downsizing and how it's
going to affect the amount of protein they're getting, how it's going to affect the amount
of fiber they're getting. So we should probably address that for the last couple of minutes we
have left. Yeah, here's a stark reality, especially if you're new to the program, you're probably
eating way more food than what you need, right? But when it comes to protein, it's so interesting
because we help so many people, thousands of people lose weight without counting protein because we
are focused on protein. So I just want to remind people, when they talk about protein out there
in the world, it's because they're assuming that you are just eating less, exercising more and not really
caring where those calories are coming from. Same thing when they talk about,
lost medications in GLP ones. I want to talk about that. I want to talk about portions in GLP
ones before we go today. They're just thinking that you're eating less and not really worrying about
where those calories are coming from. That's not what's happening here. So that's really important.
If you missed it last week, we did a post talking about how there's protein and vegetables.
There's proteins in your fruit that we just don't talk about because we just think protein is
the meat or the yogurt or the dairy or the seafood or whatever that is. So with a few bites less,
you can leave the vegetable, like, it's interesting because if you leave the vegetables,
then I'm not getting my vegetables. If I leave my leafy greens, I'm not getting my leafy greens.
It's kind of just bigger picture and eating enough throughout the day. And one of the things
you're definitely doing is eating enough throughout the day. If you're eating all your meals
and snacks, you're making them nutrient rich. You were eating dissatisfaction to feed the size
body you are right now. So in the last couple weeks, you were feeding that size body. And if you
want to lose weight, it's kind of like we're feeding.
the next size body. And this is not, like, this is not scientific terms, but this is why the routine
stays the same, right? Because you with, you with 30 pounds less are going to need less protein.
Let's put it that way, right? You with 10 pounds less. You're going to need less protein.
So you, you are keeping that routine. So nothing changes. We're not stressing the body out.
The body's like, oh, I'm not getting as much food as I was getting before, but I'm still getting
this food. So I'm good. Your body has all this excess fat. No one is really star,
at the end of the day because your body has all this energy reserve just sitting here.
So your body says, okay, well, I am not getting enough food to sustain this size body.
Let me release this fat because I'm getting all this good food and downsize and adjust to the amount
of food that is coming in.
Now, obviously, that's oversimplifying.
You can kind of think of it like that.
And so just a few bites less is not going to do anything to negate you trying to get the protein
in because it's adding.
up and it's only for a week. So what you're going to learn while still eating good
nutrient-rich foods is far more valuable than making sure you're getting like those two
grams of protein that you might be leaving on your plate.
Perfect.
Yeah?
GLP ones, hunger signals and portions.
You what?
It's a GOP-1, hunger signal.
Oh, yeah, thanks for reminding me.
Okay.
So how do you fall, how do you downsize when you're not even hungry?
So for anyone taking weight loss medications, there's a couple of things we want to talk about, too,
because one of the things that happens with weight loss medications is you, you're good, and then it
starts to taper off and that food noise and that hunger comes back. So I want you to really dig into
those moments too. It's great that you have that help that's helping with the appetite and the food
noise in the beginning, but that is really where that work is. And I want to remind people that we've
talked to members who've taken weight loss medications, and they're like, okay, but like food noise
wasn't why I ate, right? I ate because I was feeding my emotions or whatever. So just because
the food noise is quiet doesn't mean there isn't still a lot of opportunity for you to work through the
things you want to work on. But even if you're not taking weight loss medications, you might have a day
where you're not hungry. Like you might, you might have it like I'm not hungry at all. I swear
today I could go all day long without eating. I'm not going to do that. But I'm just like,
I just don't want to eat another thing. But even without taking.
taking weight loss medications, you might have days that you're not hungry. So this is why portions
are what they feel like and really dig into those four sets of mind-pleading questions.
But this is sort of where you weren't thinking of, if you were taking a GLP1, last week, you
weren't thinking about that. So why are we now thinking about it since we're leaving a few bites less?
So this is where you might want to portion out what you were eating last week and then actually
physically leave those few bites. That is probably going to be a better way for you to go if you
are taking weight loss medications than trying to portion out less. So you just have to really still
dig in. Your body's cues are there. You've just taken away the extra noise. You've taken away the
extra hunger. Your cues are still there. You just have to kind of listen. You have to lean in and
listen a little bit more. So don't worry about not eating enough. With eating six times a day,
nutrient rich foods, you're still eating more than enough. Anything going on? No, I think I, I
I think that's fair.
If you aren't hungry at all and we're dealing with a, you know, if you're not on GLP1
and you're just feeling you're not hungry, you're not necessarily going to be able to downsize
a meal that you weren't hungry for in the first place.
So you still want to have those token bites.
So this is not mean downsizing that meal altogether because you're not hungry.
Still have those token bites and really dig into how you're feeling.
Do those few bites make you feel like you could eat more or were those food bites just like,
okay, that's it.
I'm done.
I don't need anymore. Oh, that's a good point. So when you aren't hungry, you still have to have
those small token amounts. Nothing changes there. Before we go, I want to mention a lot of people are
talking about being sick. So we have a sickness protocol in the app. And we're still continuing to build
the GLP1 guide in the app and the menopause guide. We're adding that content and information to the
app. But there's a sickness protocol in there. The most important thing when you're sick is just to do
the things that you need to do to feel better. But maybe we'll work on a post this week talking about
that. What if you're not on a GLP1, just take a few bites? Yeah, exactly. Like,
people will be surprised that even with downsizing this week, they might not be hungry for
a meal or snack. And then your, and then your hunger levels might shift. This is where you might
be extra hungry in the evening, right? It's not that you haven't eaten enough. You're just
eaten less than what your body is used to. Also, good reminder before we go, that feeling
extra hungry in the evening can also be a sign that your weight is about to drop.
Yeah, right? Let me say that again. Being extra hungry in the evening is a sign that your weight is
about to drop. Also, your weight being up, feeling a little bit bloated and, you know, that as well.
So you might notice your hunger. We're making change. So you're going to notice the change. Okay, we've got to go.
Have a fantastic day, everyone. We got some great guests. Melissa Grello is going to be joining me tomorrow.
Dr. Paul is going to join us on Thursday. We're going to keep the conversation going all week. Kim,
Kim, nice to see you. It was good to see you too. Thanks for having me.
We got this. Final words before we go, Kim.
You know, just go easy on yourselves this week when you're doing this.
Like if you're feeling like you can't leave food on your plate, give yourself some grace
and dig into why because learning more about yourself that way is also a really great way for
this tweak to work.
And remember, we're doing it in a couple weeks again.
So you'll have another chance to try it.
But give it a shot.
You can't fuck it up.
You can't fuck it up.
You're good.
You're good.
You're here today.
You're listening.
You got this.
There's a reason why you're listening to this.
Have a great day, everyone.
Thanks for everyone.
Joining us live.
We're listening after fact.
We appreciate you.
Bye, Kim.
Thanks.
