The Misery Machine - Delphi Update: Kegan Anthony Kline - Is He Bridge Guy?

Starting point is 00:00:00 So we have some breaking news for you. So yesterday I got an alert from Kelsey German's Twitter account, and it provided a link to a YouTube video from Sergeant Jeremy Pears from the Lafayette Post District 14 of the Indiana State Police. Now, Sergeant Pears wanted some information with regards to an Instagram page under the name Anthony underscore shots. Now, he thought that the Anthony Schatz page might have some sort of connection to the Delphi murders because he thought that this account and the subsequent Snapchat account and other social media accounts might possibly be catfishing young girls. So he wanted folks, if they had any information, or had interacted with this account,

Starting point is 00:00:49 to reach out to the Abbey and Libby Tip Line or to the Indiana State Police. And this is clearly a catfish account. If you look at the history of the Anthony Schatz's Instagram page, it's somebody who looks like a male model, and we'll put up pictures of this person, but it is confirmed that this is not the person behind the Anthony Schott's page. It is a male model whose pictures were stolen. It says, new account, follow me, Alaska born, Indiana, Rays, Travel Living, L.A.N.Y. Business Travel.

Starting point is 00:01:20 And there are records of this account going after teenage girls. The person behind the Anthony Schwarz account is a person named Keegan Anthony Klein. Now this was broken today by WISH TV News 8, Demi Johnson. She received a probable cause affidavit filed in 2020 that links 27-year-old Kegan Anthony Klein listed in online court records with a Kokomo address to the Anthony Schott's social media account. Now, some people have been contacting WISH TV if this reporter verified her information with

Starting point is 00:01:55 the Indiana State. police. In fact, Anthony Greeno just did a live stream a few moments ago calling the news station asking if it was verified and they basically gave him the reporter's email address. So that part has not been confirmed. What is troubling about this is just yesterday, the Indiana state police is asking for information that they already had. Now, maybe they're doing this because they want more information and acting like they don't know who it is would provoke more tips. But this is a pretty terrible way of going about this, I feel. One, it looks incompetent. Two, you know this is going to be dug up and then people are going to focus on this.

Starting point is 00:02:40 Yeah, because if you look at the very first lines of the probable cause affidavit, it says I, trooper David R. Vito, P.E., and then his numbers of the Indiana State Police Department. And this is from February 25th, 2017. Now, what happened just a few weeks earlier? That's when Abby and Libby were murdered. On February 13th. And not only this, this is a really interesting point of this affidavit, Kagan Anthony Klein skipped town.

Starting point is 00:03:10 He fled Indiana to go to Las Vegas, a matter of days after the murder took place. So it begs the question, why is the Indiana State Police asking for information they already have? Like we said, that's going to get dug up. They're going to look stupid. This fellow here, not only did he have tons of pictures of teenage girls on his phone in various states of undress and performing activities that shouldn't have been on his phone.

Starting point is 00:03:36 Over 100 girls at that. Over 100 girls. Over 100 girls. He also had some explicit material of 3-year-olds. Yes. Now, looking at him, could he be the bridge guy based on comparison? I mean, maybe it's not the most. accurate comparison of the sketches but it certainly is possible from what I read

Starting point is 00:03:59 he has no history of any sort of violent crime but this is somebody that definitely should be looked into this is somebody that whether he's a bridge guy or not needs to be off the streets first of all and second of all needs to be in an interrogation room the fact that the state police announced this it makes me hopeful that something is being prepared for action. Now, I've been the first one to say in the other Delphi updates that we've done to not get ahead of yourself with this case. When we had the information drop about Brian Chadwell, we had what seemed like an unlimited number of comments from people just lighting us up because

Starting point is 00:04:42 we said Chadwell's probably not the bridge guy and you guys need to be careful. Do not get emotional with this, but take these facts and look at them closely. I'd say you can get emotional, but get emotional for the right reasons. That's a better way of phrasing it. Definitely get emotional, but do not take these emotional actions and get all wrapped up because you just want this case to be over. We all want this case to be solved. We want the person responsible to be brought to justice.

Starting point is 00:05:10 And as far as Chadwell's concerned, although he is not responsible for Abby and Libby's murder, it looks like he is going to jail for life for what he did to that little girl. He pled guilty to all charges. He pled guilty. And I was trying to find audio of this because there was audio that came out when he was first brought to court that I think since got taken down. But it was him talking with a reporter. And they asked him if he did what he did to that little girl.

Starting point is 00:05:42 And he said yes. And then they asked him, did you murder Abby and Libby? and he said no he did not. I mean, take it for what it is. I don't know if the state of Indiana has the death penalty or not. But we never felt that it made sense for him to be Abby and Libby's murderer. And as time has gone on, it seems more and more likely that he is not. I hope you're not getting caught up in this same thing again with this new person.

Starting point is 00:06:07 Now, I will say that out of everyone that has come forward so far, Kegan Anthony Klein seems to raise the most red flags for me. Does that mean he's the bridge guy? Not necessarily. But I'm very happy that Kagan's name is now out in public. So this is something that just popped into my head, a little bit of speculation. What if back in 2017 they had all this information, which there's affidavits proving that they did. And fast forward to now, they're asking for all this information.

Starting point is 00:06:41 What if it's two sections of the Indiana State Police clearly just not talking to each other, and they've wasted four years worth of time because they're not sharing the information? I find this a bit harder to believe compared to if this was the FBI and the Indiana State Police. They had to have had this information. Why wasn't it brought to attention earlier on? Why not in 2017 or 2018? It's been four years have passed at this point. I just don't know why, you know, Sergeant Pierce is asking for this if it's already there.

Starting point is 00:07:14 It's already in the records. It doesn't make any sense. And if they wanted more people to come forward about their interactions with Kegan Anthony Klein, why wasn't this done a lot sooner? Why wasn't he named a person of interest? Why have other people been put forward as suspects? And this Kegan Anthony Klein fellow seemingly hasn't even been examined. Things like this just get in the wind.

Starting point is 00:07:39 of solving cases like these and bringing justice to people who are just going to re-offend, who are going to continue being predators, who could take the lives of some other child out there. And by getting them off the streets, we've helped prevent that. I don't know. We're definitely going to be watching this closely. As we've been doing right along with the Delphi case, we will be keeping you updated. It is also very possible that by the time we release this, other information will be coming out.
