Bernie Topin was just 17 years old when he wrote the lyrics to Elton John's hit,
Your Song.
In an interview, Bernie said, quote,
it's one of the most naive and childish lyrics in the entire repertoire of music.
Anyway, hear childish and naive every day by supporting TMS today at patreon.com slash TMS.
Coming up on the morning stream, go play and have fun.
Do Mothras have brains because I'd like really wanted to know?
Happy birthday, ballpoint pen guy.
I lack Tordon Shields.
This is about the jugs of fish sauce.
wants to be a milliner.
Resting screen face.
Sit calm with boobs.
Per people.
I can pop one out every 45 minutes.
Kim's weird witch power.
You'll get no friendship, no free Tesla, and no lieutenant y'ar.
Slumdog billionaire, a Hebrew national.
More ridiculously tall ladies, please.
Moldhead Todd and the Bill Durant's and more on this episode of the morning stream.
Thousands of pounds of weaners are produced daily at Hormel.
Boneless beef and pork are the selected meats used in the manufacture of Hormel Wieners.
Jack Klugman for Steakham All-Beaf sandwich steaks.
Don't sail like that.
The Morning Stream.
for September 29th,
2002 6, I'm Scott Johnson with Brian Ibit.
My brain just farted because it just occurred to me
that that little intro thing,
he said boneless weaners.
There's no such thing as a boned weeners.
As a boned hot dog.
Yeah.
No one eats a hot dog with bones in it.
It just hit me in the face as soon as I,
my brain went,
wait a minute, back up.
That was really weird.
I don't know what that means.
Maybe there was a time.
Maybe.
Maybe somewhere in the past in the like 40s or 50s, they had bones in their hot dogs.
I mean, but then it would be like a rib.
I mean, you know, a hot dog is a sausage, basically.
So how do you have, there easily could be bone chunks in there, like, you know, from a meat brunker kind of thing.
Bits or something.
Yeah.
Maybe that's what they meant.
Maybe.
I mean, I've had a hot dog before where there was a little white clump of like hard, gristly.
Crissly thing.
It's just disgusting.
The worst.
It's a long time ago.
And I only get, if I do a hot dog now, it's either, it's either I'm winging it at a live sports event or something like that.
And it's fine.
I don't care.
Let's go.
Because you're, that's just the experience.
Or at home, I'm a choosy weiner buyer.
I go, I get those, what are they called?
The Jewish ones.
Yes.
The, um, what are they called?
Jewish national, uh, Jewish national hot dog?
something Hebrew National.
Hebrew National.
That's it.
Those are so good.
I did get it before that Stephen Adams put in the chat room.
Just saying.
I believe you.
I believe you.
This is a good practice for later tonight when you must beat all the other trivia
contestants.
I know, exactly.
Let's see if, let's see if slumdog millionaires, Hebrew national comes up as a question tonight.
Very well might.
Yeah.
Oh, that's a reminder of a film.
I don't have any reason I haven't seen, but I haven't seen.
Never seen Slumdog Millionaire.
You've never seen Slumdog Millionaire.
No, and I love, I love his movies.
I love his movie.
movies, freaking, what's his beak? I'll see them all.
That was such a touchstone, like, not from the studio,
wasn't it? Or something like that?
Oh, yeah.
It went to a picture that here?
Yeah, such a landmark film.
Yeah, and I love his stuff.
I've seen Bone Temple twice.
I've seen, uh, I saw millions, at least three times.
I loved millions.
People don't think about millions, but millions.
I forget about millions.
That's one with the kid, right?
The kid finds a big duffelbeck.
Freddie Heimor.
That's it.
That's the kid.
Very young at that point.
So good.
He finds a bag full of money.
He's a good doctor from what I hear.
Well, that's what I hear.
Wait a minute.
Is that the same kid?
Yeah, it's Freddie Heimor.
Who was also Norman Bates and...
Yeah, but was it the same kid that was in millions.
Oh, I think it was Freddie Highmore, wasn't it?
It's going to bug me now.
Hold on.
Maybe I've...
Oh, different kid.
His name is Alex Atel.
What's he doing these days?
days.
Well, he definitely had talent in that movie.
Was there another, um,
another Freddie Highmore movie that was a similar,
again,
it was like when he was really young.
Let me see here.
There was something, right?
Like,
yeah,
I thought there was.
Not finding Neverland,
maybe.
Charlie in the chocolate factory?
Oh,
he's Charlie.
He's Charlie Bucket.
Yeah.
Is that what we're thinking of?
No.
I thought there was one where he got a,
where he got,
where he found a duffel bag of,
full of money. I'm totally thinking of millions
and I guess I just
well you could have swapped him out
they could have I'd easily could have yeah they could
like a kid British the one
Oh yeah very cockney Alex
Alex what's his face?
He's quite good but I don't know that we've seen
much of him since he might have been one of those child actors
that just like kicked ass as a kid and then just
like said ah I'm good I don't want to do this anymore
kid's got a big old forehead that Alex atel
he really does you could advertise
as a kid anyway
millions coming to a theater near you right there on his forehead it's good to see you all we've got a show today full of stuff and things i'm pretty sure we have bill later oh yeah i got an answer from him he's here he'll be here
it's a lot of be fun little little post uh dragon con vibe with him and we'll see what's going on but to start things off today
i got one of these yesterday is history today this was crazy to me i learned this today uh or yesterday
the birth of the ballpoint pen inventor is today, September 29th.
Really? Okay.
1899 the dude was born, but on this day.
And his name was Lazio Brio.
Brio.
Biro.
Bero.
Bero.
Yeah.
Bero, yeah, of course, that would make sense.
And he gave us the modern ballpoint pen.
The technology has not really changed since he invented it.
Here's the deal.
He was so frustrated at how messy fountain pens were
and how long, smudge, heavy newspaper ink,
to dry, he noticed how
quickly printers ink dried.
So he teamed up with his brother, a
chemist. They don't say his name for some reason.
I feel like he got short
shrift here. And his name was
paper mate. Paper mate,
brio, or bureau.
I keep saying brio, like the food.
Fleming says it's pronounced
Byro. Is it Byro? I always said
bureau, like the big bureau? Yeah, I always said
bureau too. Anyway, he engineered
a ball-bearing mechanism that wouldn't
clog, and today British people
still casually refer to any ballpoint pen as a byro or a bureau.
Where is Zoe? Zoe?
Yeah, I believe Zoe.
Yeah, I'll take Zoe's.
I'll take Zoe over the buy row.
Okay.
Byro.
There you go.
All right.
And you guys still say that.
Can I borrow your buy row?
Do you say that?
Ooh, that's a tough, because you've got too many of the same sounds that.
Borrow your biro.
Yeah.
I think we did it.
You can I borrow your biro.
Can I borrow your b.
We just say pen.
You know?
Right.
Can we just borrow your point?
Yeah.
Can I borrow your pen?
And we don't even get picky about what kind of pen it is.
Just give me your pen.
Anyway, that's a fun little thing to learn.
Yeah, no kidding.
That's very cool.
Yeah.
I didn't, how it came about was, I had a friend who does these amazing.
And I mean, like, incredible.
He'll get like a Bristol board.
I don't know how big, maybe 36 inches, 18 inches tall or something.
And he'll get it.
And he will do, he'll start in a corner with,
just a ballpoint pen, a bick pen, black pen, sometimes colors, but usually just the black one.
And he will just do the most ornate, beautiful, fully covered canvases, just all in ballpoint pen.
And you'd swear looking at it, you'd be like, that is the most amazing etch work.
So you wouldn't know.
You just, they wouldn't have any idea that sound crappy ballpoint pen was involved.
He'll go through like three of those pens per, you know, run out of ink.
Per board.
per board and they're beautiful.
I wish I had some pictures here.
They're freaking beautiful.
And I was looking at one of his pieces and I went,
where'd this thing even come from this stupid ball?
Like who was so smart that they went?
Oh, a little ball.
And I went, oh, that'd be like the 70s, you know?
Somebody in some room with a big tie and a mustache and too wide, a little pant leg and all that.
He's like, oh, I figured it out.
Jones, there's this little ball we can put in there.
And I thought it would be a more modern construct.
but yeah no man
1800s
early early 19th
he didn't invent it coming out of the womb
no he walked out with a pen
Lajlo's
Laslo is usually Hungarian or typically
or maybe
Laslo is often
I should say a Hungarian name is
Laslo Bureau
Oh you know what good question
I didn't get the background on that
at least in my paste here
Argentinian Hungary born inventor
Oh there you go
Oh look at him you got to see him
yeah look at that like could be played by ed harris ed harris young ed harris you guys
young ed harris look at this hello i am lazlo and i'm chewing on my bald point cigarette pen
right yes uh interesting that's cool he was he died in argentina you're right born in
oh that's weird it says he's born in budapest austria hungry was that back when it was a
combination or something budapest kingdom kingdom of hungary yeah i don't know that must
be something weird.
Within the Austro-Hungarian Empire.
Oh, look at this.
This is his.
I don't know.
I don't know Hungarian history.
In 1943, in 1943, this is the patentee filed.
Look at this cool drawing.
Oh, I love it, dude.
That's a fatty.
That's really cool.
No kidding.
They were pretty big back then.
Got to be big to hold that ball.
That's right.
That's so cool.
That's really cool.
I miss it when patent applications were just like a cool drawing with a
dude's signature on it.
Totally. Like architect, look like architectural drawings, you know, like these, uh, yeah.
Ballpoint. Let's see, referred to as a bureau, biro, uh, that's interesting. Okay.
Oh, uh, Argentina's Inventors Day is celebrated on his birthday today.
Oh, nice. Yeah. Very cool. Happy birthday, biro. Happy birthday, biro.
You sound like the Italian place I like around here called bureau. So, oh, did they do a Google, uh, they said Google, did a Google doodle for his, uh, birthday a few years ago.
Did they do on today is the question? Uh, no.
It looks like a basketball thing.
No, it's a basketball thing.
Looks like patches of the different college teams.
Is there a big final something going?
That's usually in March.
Yeah, they might be the start of the season, actually.
Yeah, I don't know what that's about.
I guess we can click it.
Oh, WNBA first play a frown.
So it's the WNBA team start playing.
That's so funny.
We're just like, I don't know, who knows what they're?
Oh, we can click it.
Oh, all right, we can click it.
It's funny because I was just asking my friend Paul,
because his wife is huge,
watches all the AWNBA
game, she loves it.
And I said, when to playoff starting?
He's like, I don't know.
And I said, you'd think that
because you live with her,
you would automatically know
when these things start.
And sure enough, they start a week later
after I asked.
Yeah, I've seen,
I don't know, a game or two.
Yeah.
I feel like what's her name
is chiefly responsible.
Caitlin Clark, for sure.
They're big popularity mode right now.
Yeah.
But there's that other crazy,
blonde girl that is like totally wackadoo what's her name um oh really i haven't heard about uh and
b a blonde okay let's see her name is i'm gonna guess it's this person they've got a shot of on the
further down on the google uh results she's also another oh it's sophy cunning it's yeah it's a
she's another favorite player it's sophy cunningham yeah just looking at her scream face man
She's kind of wacky.
She has a TikTok camera where she just does a goof.
And she makes me laugh.
And I feel like we need more of this in the WMBA.
Let's get some personalities in there, man.
Nice.
I wanted to take off.
I really enjoy WMBA games.
I love their team names because, you know,
they don't feel like every single team name has to end with an S.
It doesn't have to be plural.
Yep.
You know, you've got your dream and your liberty and your fever.
Yeah, and the fever dream when they play.
You get a fever dream.
You had a fever dream, yes.
Yeah, that's cool.
You could learn something NBA.
It's right.
With your men and all your hair, your hairy men.
Where are the mystics?
Where do the mystics play?
Washington.
So they got the wizards and the mystics.
Do you guys have a team?
We don't have a WMBA team now.
I was curious about that.
Yeah.
I wonder if.
Might be, maybe an expansion someday.
Yeah, and I think, I mean, at the rate they're going,
WMB.
you could see
you can see that
oh yeah for sure right
for sure let's see nothing in the
works for Denver or Utah
the upcoming franchises
for Cleveland Detroit and Philadelphia
let's see
I mean obviously the aces are probably
the closest for both of us
or Phoenix Mercury
the Mercury's
Portland Fire the Golden State
Valkyries and the Toronto Tempo are all new
I guess or newish
Oh, we used to have the stars.
That's why this is all familiar.
In 1997, in the original launch of the thing,
we had in a WMBA team,
they were called Stars with 2 Zs, of course.
Of course.
I forgot all about that.
And now they're in San Antonio, so.
F that noise.
I got a little pride in my hometown here.
What did they change their name to?
I'm not seeing him for San Antonio.
Oh, I don't know. Let's see.
Who did?
Are they the Arlington,
Lexus Wings, the Dallas Wings.
Let's see.
Who did the Utah Stars become?
There's a website called Utah Stars Explained.
Let's see.
Seleck City began playing, blah, blah, blah, blah.
Let's see.
Original WMBA.
Berminam.
Okay, there now.
The team relocated and became the San Antonio Silver Stars in 2003.
I don't know if they're still playing, though.
No, they're not listed on the WNBA page.
Looks like they're out.
So they added the silver to it, though.
So, you know, me saying, talking about the mystics and the wizards, there's quite a few of these.
So like sister teams, Valkyries and Warriors, Golden State Valkyries, Golden State Warriors,
links and timber wolves in Minnesota, Liberty and Nets in New York, Mercury and Sons in Phoenix.
It makes sense, right?
Because you got the facility, you have the somewhat non-overlapping season.
There's some overlap, but it's mostly not overlap.
you can kind of get both games in.
Yeah, for sure.
Yeah.
I'm all about it.
Let's go.
More ladies.
More late.
No more tall, ridiculously tall ladies, please.
Yes, please.
They intimidate the hell out of me.
Tall ladies.
They really do.
Really?
Yeah, when you're six, I dated this girl in high school one day.
I told you about it before.
It's the one, the horrible night where I had, we were supposed to have a 300
Z to drive and I had to drive for Hugo.
Yes.
The wheel came off, steering wheel came up.
Right.
The girls.
So that made.
it all worse, but the girl I took out was like
model beautiful, just
and she was taller to me by an inch.
Uh-huh. And it just threw
me. It just was so, I felt so
intimidated by her. So intimidated?
Yeah. And it's not, there's not a, there
wasn't like a dominance thing where I must be
taller than the women I date. It's fine. I don't mind
at all. Except it just made me feel like she
could destroy me if she wanted to.
She could just smack down
one day and I'd be done. The tallest
So I dated one woman who was as tall as me. Also, just beautiful. And I'm going to say her name, although I don't want, I don't want a ducks, but her last name was great. She was Norse.
Oh, cool. Lisa Tordenshield. Yeah.
Like to talk about, like, Viking woman, right? Was she blonde, but like, she was blonde, but like, she was blonde. Yeah.
Well, oh. She didn't wear, I was hoping that, you know, on our dates, she would wear, like, the hat with the horns on it, but she never did. Never did. Damn it.
I know. Dude, that's kind of hot, though. Tall, Torden Shield. Tall, tall Norwegian.
Now people are Googling.
They're going to find her.
I kind of want to go Google.
Yeah, see where she is now.
Maybe she's a Valkyrie warrior.
Who knows?
Yeah.
Again, that name is great.
It is a great name.
Because Torterden was probably a dude and he had a shield.
He was like a king, a clan or something.
Yeah.
Oh, yeah, Tordon Shield.
See, Tordon Shield.
Oh, oops, I left out.
That's why I like Tordon Shields.
That's a myth.
That's a myth.
The horns actually grow more from their heads.
Oh, crap. Nice, dude.
Yeah, they're just full-on creatures.
Found her Facebook, but she just has a picture of her dog as her photo.
Her familiar.
That's right.
Exactly.
Her far north wolf.
To take down the opposing clans.
Exactly, yes.
That's how we're going to have.
That's the story in our heads.
Works perfectly for me.
Guys, we got a little news to discuss and we're going to get into it.
Super fun.
Here we go.
Today's news is brought to you by
A place to let your community doodle thrive
Check out my drawings.com and try it out.
It's free.
It's free.
It's free.
It's free.
Which is to say,
free.
Yeah, get over there.
Start drawn.
Do like this.
And then you might be able to be like this
cruddle fish salad guy.
Oh, man, he's so good.
Look at that.
I know.
Every day he's got something up here.
It blows my effing mind.
I love that it's the forbidden planet robot and the
lost in space
yeah he goes
the dude goes deep
once in a while
one will disturb me
like let's let me show you
a weird one here
this one right here
this really gave me
the willies
this is from Crucogen

I don't know what to make
of that shit
but I like it

show me most liked or, you know, that kind of.
Oh, yeah, there you'll sort, but yeah.
Yeah, but anyway, it's fun stuff.
Mydrawings.com.
It's free.
It's totally silly and stupid.
I made it for fun.
Go play and have fun.
All right.
Go play and have fun.
Let's get to the stories of the day today.
Let's start with this upstate New York high school student
who got suspended for bringing coffee to class.
What?
Okay.
I mean, I remember it being.
in our school it was banned
like any other
kid paraphernalia. You couldn't bring shit
to high school that would
I don't know that would just
disrupt class. So we got a kid sipping on a thing
or another kid chewing gum
or somebody else
fiddling with something out, whatever. Like bringing a bag
of chips with them or something.
Like we had a lot of rules about that.
I mean we had teachers who forbade
gum, but it wasn't every teacher.
There were some teachers that didn't care if you
chewed gum as long as you didn't do it
loudly. Sounds like a man
after my own heart. And as long
as you'd spit it out in class or get on the
floor, anything like that. But
might be a class by class thing. I want to say,
I mean, we certainly
didn't go to, I didn't go to high school in the era of
water bottles, right? Of like your
Nalogene bottles, but it
feels like
what do we have like that back then?
What was it like the thing everyone brought to class?
It had to be something between thermoses
and the Nalgene, right?
Or maybe Nalgene,
water bottles were around?
I don't remember.
Dang.
As far as getting like liquid refreshment,
I can't think of what it would have been.
Everybody had a walkman
and hidden in their backpack.
Everybody had like that.
I had went openly out
with the thing around my neck,
the headset part,
just sitting on my neck.
I would sneak it sometimes.
I'd put a little one up to my ear.
That's funny.
Listen to the last night's David Letterman
because I recorded it off the TV.
The first podcaster right there.
Yeah.
He didn't even know he was doing it.
but he was doing it.
He won't even do a real one now.
No.
Kind of wish you would.
I'd listen.
Oh, for sure.
For sure.
Well, anyway,
this upstate New York high school student says he was suspended after bringing a cup of coffee to class.
Julie Caputa,
a senior at Beaver.
Oh, this is a girl.
Sorry, it's not a dude.
A senior at Beaver River Central School of Castorland, New York.
Sounds almost like Britain shit.
Castelland.
The way that all rolled out.
Told W. W.N.Y.
trying to think what the 2Ws are for
I mean it's a call
call numbers but
yeah the first W is because it's east of the
Mississippi
oh is that how that works
yeah K's are west of the Mississippi
Ws are east of the Mississippi
I didn't know that
yeah I used to do local radio too
and I never knew why we were
why it was that way you were a K
station yeah it was all K stations out here
yep K rock
right exactly anyway
WKRP is Mississippi
She said she stopped by a teacher as she attempted to bring coffee drink to the first day of school, September 3rd.
Caputa said she was surprised to learn that the school had adopted a new policy on outside food and beverages without notifying the public.
Well, there's your problem.
You got to notify the kids.
Exactly. If you're going to adopt a new policy.
And I love the no outside food or drink like you're a Denny's or something.
Yeah. Now, if you buy the Grand Slam, you're fine.
But if you're bringing it inside.
Exactly. How
We sell our own food and drinks here.
You need to buy from us.
It just seems ridiculous.
Yeah, that seems dumb.
But it says, let's see, I walked in, I had my coffee with me.
I got to, I got to my first period class and my teacher said I'm either going to need you to dump that out or consume it on the spot or go down to the office.
Dude, I would have a shotgun.
I just go, oh, God.
Is shotgun chugging hot coffee?
I don't think so.
It's a terrible idea, but, you know, then you sue the teacher for Burns and walk out of a million air.
Or a thousand.
Probably a hundred air because it's a school.
They don't make any money.
Her mother, Mary and Caputa.
That sounds like a serial killer's victim or something.
The warden in Orange is the New Black.
So I guess it was Caputo.
Oh, right.
Yeah.
Man, that's come up the last few days.
That's a great show.
Yeah.
I've heard there are multiple times that's come up in discussion.
Film Sack, we talked about it because,
what's a rosy, whatever.
Yeah, Ruby Rose.
It was a good show until I think the last season.
I feel like the last season was the one that went awry.
And it was also the first, I know it wasn't the first Netflix.
Like the big first Netflix original piece of content was the president won, the one that.
Oh, House of Cards.
That was like the first, like big deal.
But then this one felt like the next one and it solidified this idea that a streamer could now make content.
we were going to just keep getting more.
And then it was like a floodgate after that.
It was just like every week.
I mean, I remember, you know, not necessarily the news.
And then there was the sitcom with boobs called Dreamon
with the guy who just sat there and fantasized all day
and was married to Wendy Malick.
Oh, yeah.
It's the dude for it's saving Silverman.
Brian Ben Ben Ben,
Ben or something like that, right?
Wasn't that the guy's name?
I can't remember.
Something Ben Ben.
Wasn't he the dude that put his wean,
in the pie in American Pie?
Is that the same actor? No.
Way before. Like, he would have been
a year old or something.
Who am I thinking of?
Yeah, it's
who are, what's the name of the guy you're thinking of?
Ah, it's a saving Silverman
American Pie. Jason Bates. Yeah, Biggs.
Bigs. Yeah, Jason Bates, isn't it? That's not even a person.
Okay, Brian Ben Ben, Ben, played Martin Tupper.
Dream on the TV series. This
was uh oh okay i'm getting my air is all effed had denny dillon michael mckeen oh this guy it was a
koffman crane uh deal really yeah dream on dream on so like he would always he would basically
the the whole thing of the the premise of the show was that he had a very vivid imagination and so
you know he'd he'd dream about things while he was working and and it would obviously be
visualized on the show.
Got basically retired.
Yeah.
Last thing he did is this imposter's thing and he was in 20 episodes and now he's out.
Yeah.
2018.
That was it.
Yeah.
I remember watching that and it was like the occasional boobs would show up because he was,
he would also dream like he was on Californication basically.
So it would be like dreamy of being with a hot woman in the, in the office.
It's weird how I totally know this.
I'm looking at his IMDB.
I know these things he's in.
Yeah.
He's a,
to me, he's like a blank slate.
He is.
He's kind of like a,
um,
Wilson.
Uh,
uh,
what's his face Wilson that I talked about?
Um,
this is the guy who was in the Annabelle.
Oh,
Patrick Wilson.
Like,
uh,
what do we need for this role?
A man?
Oh,
I know just the guy.
I need a man.
Is,
is Brian Ben Ben,
Ben available?
No,
trying to get Patrick Wilson.
I need a blank slate to build my video game character out of.
What does he look like?
Right, exactly.
Brian, Ben, Ben.
This guy's got two Ben Ben's for a last name.
That's funny.
I know.
He has three names in his name.
It's not good.
He should be Ben Benjamin.
Ben, Brian Ben.
Brian.
I wonder if you could watch these anywhere.
Oh, probably somewhere.
Yeah.
I know a guy that could get it for us.
Larry Plexerson.
Is that his name?
Larry H. Plexerson.
he may or may not live here in Salt Lake City.
Yeah.
All right.
Let's talk about this story.
By the way, so that kid should...
So let me tell you quickly what our old pal, PhD holder, Dr. Calhoun said in the chat room just a minute ago.
I can find it.
This is about the coffee.
This is about the jugs of coffee.
I can't find his...
Where did his comment go?
Man, you guys are chatty today.
Hold on.
I'm going to find it.
It was good.
He said...
geez louise how far back oh here it is he says dump it out for f sakes don't make an effing scene and piss everybody off
which tells me he's been through this is what it tells me yeah but you know i get it if you're
going through tsa but it just feels like a weird like not letting so do they they they outlaw people
bring in water bottles i bet they don't a bitch they they allow people bring in a water bottle
According to this, it's outside beverages, but they don't get into the water thing.
Yeah.
Says, uh, so are you, Dr. Cahun, are you arguing for just to let them, do what the man says?
You're in high school. It's time to rebel. Rise up. That's right. Stick it to the man.
Don't learn how to live in this. I mean, that could be fascist bullshit.
If she got it at Starbucks, that's like a $20 cup of coffee.
Not even a good one. It's all burnt.
Not even a good one, right?
Oh my gosh, that's good.
All right, Popeyes in the news also.
Popeyes?
Yeah, Popeyes or Popeye?
Is Popeye? Not Popeye?
Popeye's customer sue for $1.8 million over a condom-like object in the chicken.
Condom-like?
Yeah, that's even worse than condom, I think.
I agree.
Plus, it's in the chicken.
The chicken is all you got there.
Right.
That's right.
Well, no, no, you've got the shrimp and you've got like all the,
like crawfish and catfish.
Oh, do they do all that?
And Popeyes?
I didn't know that.
Yeah.
Popeyes is like your, your southern, like your, you get hush puppies.
Oh, yeah.
Like, I'll go to Popeyes.
I like Popeyes.
I'm a fan.
I may not be after the story, but I really like them.
But two customers in the fast food chain in Houston, Texas were repulsed after eating a fried chicken.
They claim had a condom-like foreign object in it.
Oh, my God.
Justin Howard.
and Danielle McKinnon are taking Popeyes to court,
seeking more than $1.5 million in damages in a petition filed in court on August 3rd.
Howard and McKinnon said they bought chicken from Popeyes on July 25th.
Howard bit into a piece of the chicken and allegedly, quote,
immediately discovered what appeared to be a condom-like foreign object embedded in the chicken, unquote.
I've got to stop saying condom-like.
It's either a condom or it's not.
Yeah, is it a condom or isn't it?
You know what?
Do forensics on the damn.
Exactly. Is it a rubber band? Is it a big thick rubber band or is it a condom? What is it?
I mean, personally, I'll bet it's a condom and I'll bet there's something screwy going on at that Popeyes. But, and they should, you know what, they should. If it turns out there's a condom in your chicken, sue them. Do it. Yeah, right. I think I do it. I'm bummed right now, by the way. Poppies only has shrimp.
Shrimp is their only seafood right now. But man, I remember getting clams at Popeyes not long ago. Is it seasonal or something? Or they?
Maybe it's like Lent.
They do the, you know, do a lot of seafood during Lent.
Might, might be.
Or maybe it may differ around the country too.
I don't know.
Oh, that could be it too.
Yeah.
The meal appeared ordinary.
It was not.
They wrote in the petition.
Per people.
This is what people say.
Per people.
Per people.
And Brian and I know they mean People magazine because it's all in caps.
But yeah.
But is a non-contextual thing to say?
Who said it?
Well, according to people.
deeply disturbing and frightening, they went on to say.
In the petition, the two customers noted find the foreign object,
instantly transform what should have been an ordinary family meal
into a deeply disturbing and frightening event.
Can't argue with that.
I mean, that's...
Some of this language, though.
It is flowery, but, I mean, you bite into a condom-like object in your fried chicken.
It will change you as a person.
It will rewrite your DNA.
down to your soul.
Oh, forever.
You are a different person for the rest of your life.
Forever alter the path you walk on.
That's right.
Like it or hate it.
There's BCC and ACCC.
There's before condom chicken and after condom chicken.
And you are no longer, you're a Phoenix rising from the ashes of the condom event.
A whole new butterfly from that cocoon.
The blip.
McKin, I'll finish it with this.
McKin and Howard immediately stopped eating and, quote,
became physically nauseated.
Stop eating.
Not just that day, but stopped eating.
I hope they kept it because your whole case rests on this object.
So hang on to it.
Get it looked at.
Before you know it, you're a winner.
All right.
That's it for today's news.
It's time for us to take a detour and talk about being creative.
Yeah, making shit.
Let's do it.
something wrong, isn't there, Bill?
Oh, I wonder if he's even recovered from his
DragonCon thing. Let's find out. Bill, hello, welcome. Hi.
Hello, I managed to not get sick at Dragon Con.
Look at you, dude. Very good.
Oh, man. A Salt Lake Comic Con just ended and Carter ended up with something.
A leash ended up with everywhere. Everybody got something except Bill.
What's going on, man? Come on.
What's your trick? Do you have like a method to that madness and not getting sick?
Yes.
Every about once an hour at DragonCon, I drink a little scotch.
Really?
And that just keeps me disinfected.
Right.
Exactly.
Yeah, alcohol kills germs.
I'm sure that that's exactly how that works.
I don't know because.
And keeps you fresh.
Yes, it does.
I hugged everyone.
So I don't know.
I was pressing my face against other people's faces.
I don't know how I didn't get sick.
But I'm, I'm happy.
Yeah.
you looked out. You didn't touch your own face.
You touched your other people. You touched your face
with other people's faces. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So whatever you had, everybody else got, that's what happened.
Yeah. Well, Bill, I'm glad it went well.
I just realized I haven't seen the usual trove of photos you always send and post and stuff.
I got a video I'm cutting together. Just the last couple weeks,
I kind of fell off the world.
Yeah. Sure. Probably, you know, it's just a
couch recuperate from the...
Yeah, I don't blame you.
But yeah, we've got a video coming soon,
filmed a whole bunch of costumes.
We were in our...
Yeah, last year you did that great compilation video
with all the different cosplay
with a great musical accompaniment.
I'm looking forward to seeing
what you come up with this year.
We did our Slate Aspire costumes
and they were a hit
and there were a bunch of other Slade the Spire costumes
which was awesome.
Nice.
There was at least three, I think,
vendors, the
vendor with the carpet that sells you stuff
during the game, people just sitting on the floor
with a bunch of stuff to give away and trade, which was
really fun. The vendor's awesome. It's one of my favorite
video game vendors of all time.
Oh, yeah.
So I'm going to pull it up, Slay the Spire vendor.
Sorry, go ahead. Oh, yeah, right.
Yes, we talked about this.
We've had such a great time.
Another good one in the books. Couldn't be happier.
Nice. Well done, dude. Look at you
guys, kicking ass. Oh, here it is.
That's not a great
zoomed in shop, but you get the idea.
Just a mysterious little masked weirdo
selling you shit.
So they would have a bunch of stuff on their carpet in front of them.
They made,
people made,
we got a bunch of Dragon Con themed
Slay the Spire cards.
Like the Marriott carpet as an object and Slay the Spire.
Sure.
So they had a bunch of cool stuff like that.
That's awesome.
Yeah.
I'm glad you guys had a good one.
Did you,
so how does that inform?
Because usually when you come back,
it's like, oh, it's all a big,
dump brain dumped from dragon con but uh it doesn't have to be what do you want to talk about
today whatever you got we uh we did a really cool project so you remember last time we made that
cool mold head for my buddy todd yeah that head the mold of a head well todd need a mold head
mold head yes uh Todd needed a bunch of those he was making those for his students so we needed
a whole class worth of heads and the first one we made we rotocast it by hand so you put
resin in the mold and then he
hold it above your head and you rotate it around until the inside is all coated.
Which would work.
That would totally work.
But they make machines called rotocasting machines.
That'll do that work for you.
And my other neighbor, not Todd, but Chad, Chad has a rotocasting machine.
So we got a new video, yeah, of me at Chad's shop over at Raptor Props, which is another prop making shop that's near here.
here. And I got to use this rotocasting machine.
I've been looking for something, looking for something that will fully shake up my Nestle
quick. So this looks like just the thing I need. And it'll do it perfectly.
You got to get one of those paint can shakers at the Home Depot. That's what you're like.
Yeah. Oh, that. I kind of want one of those just to have that, you know? I don't need it. I occasionally
maybe we'll paint something, but most of I just want to use it. First thing Scott puts in there is a can of Coke zero.
Yeah, dude.
Yeah.
And then he's going to put it back at the store shelf or something.
Sign me up.
They did that in the Simpsons, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, I forgot about that.
Yeah, yeah.
That's good.
Simpsons did it.
Anyway, so how'd this go?
I assume it takes a lot less strenuous work to shake the thing up, but also is more accurate, I would assume?
Or more...
Yes, totally.
So these machines, they're kind of bespoke, but they come in a variety of sizes.
The one Chad has there is a big one.
But you can get a small desktop one that's hand-carried.
cranked for doing casting small things.
Oh, that's cool. But the idea is there's two
axis of rotation and your mold gets strapped
in the middle there and it will rotate
perfectly
in every direction. So when
your resin is in there, it's always
on the bottom, but it doesn't
stay in that spot. Every
spot gets an equal time being on the bottom.
Yeah.
This looks a lot like those things you can
like at certain, I don't know,
amusement places or whatever you can get
strapped into one of those circle ones.
Same idea, right?
You get a full 360 sort of centripical, whatever.
How they train astronauts for space, too.
Yeah, a little bit.
This thing is just as dangerous, too.
It's got a lot of pinch points, and it will not stop.
So you've got to be careful around these things.
You don't want to get your arm crack in there when it's spinning around
because it just snap your arm.
Dude.
Oh, that just gave me the wheelies to think about that.
Yeah, right?
Yeah, bad.
So, yeah, your mold gets strapped into the middle.
you want to get it as centered as possible.
And then you have to close your mold.
So I made a little lid for the top of my mold.
And then you just pour in the liquid resin, cap it off, and then hit go.
And it will rotate to a great effect forever.
Is there too much rotation or not enough?
How do you know you didn't leave it too long or whatever?
You could adjust the speed is pretty much it.
Okay.
The timing on it is just the timing on the resin.
This resin takes 30 minutes to fully cure, so we left it in there for 30 minutes.
Oh, perfect.
Okay.
And then we did our test run at one speed, and that seemed to work pretty well, so we didn't change it.
But otherwise, you could tweak the speed faster or slower to get a better result.
So you've got, like, as uniform as possible distribution of the resin or the whatever it is you're doing in every corner and every side and every possible thing.
Whereas if you did it by hand, you may not even notice that your left arm is favoring a certain.
dip and then now you're a little front heavy on one of the heads or something.
Yeah.
Or your arms get tired so the quality of work goes down.
Yeah, that's cool.
This machine does not tire.
No, no.
No.
No.
It's terrific.
That's what's great about machines.
Machines are great.
Yeah.
I cast half a dozen heads out of this thing in like just like one day.
So it was really, it was faster than doing it by hand.
It was better than doing it by hand.
And I could do other things while it was working.
It was one of my favorite parts.
How does it clear?
It looks like the clips, oh, they're just, it's got more space in there than I thought.
Yeah.
I thought the clips would, like, hit the sides or something.
It does come down to prep.
We spent about an hour getting everything prepped and testing everything.
And then once it was good to go, we could just run them all.
And this is the speed that you did.
Is it?
Yeah.
Oh, that's great.
30 minutes of that.
Uh-huh.
I love this sped up time stuff.
Oh, yeah.
Yeah.
I think I saw a bug move under the,
that table during that day.
So that's cool.
Now we get to see it taken off.
Did this make you want to immediately grab one of these or build one or find one or buy one or whatever?
It's kind of like a boat.
You want a friend that has one.
Yeah.
Yeah.
My friend has it.
Exactly.
You don't want to have to store this thing.
No, it takes a lot of them.
The other 364 days of the year that you don't need to use.
Exactly.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good point.
He should, he should, I don't know if you guys ever talk about this, but you guys should do like a Seattle
co-op thing where.
all your different machines and capabilities that are so disparate from each other.
I mean, there's some crossover, but you all could just rent that shit out whenever you weren't using it or something.
It's a great idea.
Anyway, so you open this thing.
Oh, look at them.
This satisfying.
Yeah, I feel like it off really fun.
And then for these heads, I wanted to fill them with a foam.
So I had to cut the bottom off that was a skin that formed over it.
and then there's hollow cavity with the thin skin on the inside,
and then we can just fill it up with expanding foam.
Looks like a shitter.
A little bit.
You could poop for you.
Yeah.
Like one you'd be worried about.
You go to an event.
I would be very worried.
Yeah.
I wouldn't want to go in there.
It looks like the Dairy Queen Blizzard that I take back because,
wait a minute, it's all hollow in the middle.
Where's all the ice cream that's supposed to be?
Yeah.
They left the ice cream spinner too long.
The McFlurry.
That's the McFlurry that I'm setting back.
So, any, oh, okay, I see what you're doing.
You're going to put that kind of foam you did last time.
Yeah, yeah.
It just keeps the head from getting squished, basically.
Right.
Now, how much does this save the, obviously it's more uniform in its distribution and all that?
And that's all a big benefit.
But how much does it save you on time?
It's a lot faster.
So when we cast it by hand, we brushed it in the front and back separately in two different steps.
And then we closed it.
we brushed in another layer,
and then we brushed in a third or fourth layer.
I can't remember,
but it's a lot of layers.
And each one takes,
you know,
five minutes to set up,
and then another 30 minutes to fully cure.
So,
this was only one step.
This was one layer of,
just pour in the resin,
cap it off,
and hit go.
So,
like,
I could pop one out every 45 minutes,
which is crazy fast.
Pretty good.
Yeah,
with the expanding foam and everything.
Wow.
And this,
uh,
I know,
we always ask this or maybe you always tell us this,
but how long does this mold last?
Get years out of this thing?
We can probably get, I mean,
it won't run out, it won't get bad over time.
It will get bad when you use it.
So the heat from the resin will draw
moisture out of the silicone in the mold,
and eventually that will tear and fall apart.
Okay.
But we can probably get, I don't know,
20 or 30 castings out of this head,
maybe more if we're lucky.
Sweet. So you just got to go,
you just got to call this,
you got to call Chad and say,
could I come over there?
That's right.
And Chad will say, no.
What are you doing?
Who are you in my shop?
Yeah, get your own jackass.
No, that's awesome.
Well, that's very cool.
Are you, so usually when you tell us these things, it usually leads to, and that got me to think about Project X.
And I'm going to do it until I die or whatever.
Anything like that happened?
Are you now working on Project X?
No, but this is the perfect machine if you got a RotoCast.
helmets. Oh, sure. Yeah. So if you have a helmet mold, it's basically just an empty sphere on the
inside. This is the perfect, perfect project for that. I've been Jonesen to make a crazy cool
space helmet for a while. Sure. Yeah. That sounds great. Oh, I love this foam stuff. Yeah.
It looks like you could eat it. Just pour it on a griddle and make some waffles out of it. Right. Yeah.
Yeah. I had one a mold overfill, and it made this perfect, it looks like a little, like a little bun,
a little dough bun come out the top of it
so I kept it. I painted it
to look like bread.
And then ate it
and then it was sick for
three months so it's all good.
Well this is great. Once again
Bill killing it with the
great ideas
per usual. You probably have a little link to share with us today.
What do you got?
I got a video here. This channel
is another Seattle dude
goes by RC Test Flight
through the link in the Twitch chat there.
Okay.
The video, he does radio-controlled vehicle experiments, let's call them.
He's done a lot of boat stuff here in Lake Washington and Lake Union, which is really fun to see.
But this video I showed you is he's trying to get an RC car to drive 100,000 scale miles.
So he had to build an RC car that would drive that long.
This is his second attempt.
The first attempt he made his RC car just tied to a string and drive around in a circle, around a pole.
The new one, this video I shared with you, he built an autonomous system so that his RC car could drive a path in his backyard for months.
What?
Forever. Yeah, it's awesome.
Explain to me to see. I saw that it was tethered with wires. I assume that's a power thing, right? You can't just run on batteries.
He built an autonomous charging station for it.
What?
So the one with the string was his first attempt, and I don't think he made a charging station. But for the new one,
I believe he set up at Autonomous setup so that it could drive in, charge up, and then continue its path.
It's crazy.
And this is regardless of what weather does, you get some big rain like you do where you live.
It didn't matter.
Wow.
So yeah, the ultimate endurance test for an RC car is pretty great.
I love this.
That's cool.
Yeah.
And this should be a permanent fixture of his place.
Like never take this down.
Oh, I'm in love with this project.
that's how you get 4.3 million views in two weeks.
Yeah, exactly.
Damn.
All right.
That's awesome.
Go check it out.
Setting up an autonomous steering system to get it to follow a path.
And you can see it carving a path into his backyard over the months he left it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
The HOA ain't going to love it.
I probably isn't that one.
Future person who buys his house probably also not going to love it.
Yeah, it's like, we got this cool track in the backyard.
And why is the grass not growing in this spot?
Something buried here.
Honey, I think we need to keep shopping.
RC Test Flight is the channel.
Go check it out.
And of course, Punish Props is the channel to check out for Bill and PunishProps.com.
Get it all in there.
Bill, Duran, it is always a pleasure to talk to you.
And I hope that no crud gets to you this year.
That'd be great.
Yeah.
Stay crud free.
You got it.
Con or otherwise.
See you later.
Concrud sounds like a prisoner disease.
It does, right.
Ex-concrud, too.
Once you leave.
Yeah, you get out.
You're not ready.
ready for the real world again.
And I met him and did he want nail?
He had the ex-con crud.
We were sick for days.
All right, we got some emails to plow through here.
This is about the jugs of pee.
Actually, that's not true.
These are all texts.
So when I say emails, I mean text in this case.
Thomas from Missouri has a warning for us.
He says, hey, Scott and Brian, I just want to give a public service announcement to the tad pool.
If you go to a dollar store, sorry, dollar tree.
or any other dollar store and see windshield washer fluid from LA's
totally awesome brand.
Do not buy it.
He says the stuff.
What?
But we can't trust the totally awesome brand anymore.
I'm shocked by this info.
Can you believe it?
He says,
this stuff has the worst smell like it's spiked with fish sauce or something.
Oh,
this is about the jugs of fish sauce.
He says,
it's just awful.
I made the mistake of filling the washer fluid reservoir.
in my car with it and now every time I use it, the car stinks for a while.
Oh, that's horrible. Yeah.
I'm going to go ahead and put it out there that there's, the rule of thumb is you shouldn't
buy most things from a dollar general or a dollar store. They're gross.
A tree, dollar general. Yeah. Even if you buy like, oh, it's a candy bar I know and love and
it's so cheap here. That's because it's expired or close to it or fell off the truck or some other
shit. It's never like, oh, just a deal happened. It's disgusting.
Usually the stuff you get at a dollar store is not worth the dollar that you paid for it.
No, plus I think it should be illegal to call yourself a dollar store and then charge five bucks for stuff.
Exactly. Yeah. At least five below does like five and below.
Right. They may even have some more. I don't even know what they do over there. I shouldn't say because I don't know.
I haven't been in there in a while. I wonder if they do have some $6 stuff at five below.
Five below is a cool name. When I first heard it, I thought it was a
coats like uh i thought it was a um an ice cream oh even even even better like it just doesn't
sound like five degrees right yeah exactly instead it's like bad toys with too much
lead in the paint a ton of lelo and stitch shit is that true yeah what that's about do you think
disney has a hard time moving that stuff or something i don't know yeah i mean it's like a lot of
disney stuff but people you know send me look what i saw at the five below and it's like a uh
some sort of stitch thing where the
the threads are slightly coming out all over the other items below them in the shop.
Sure.
It's all crap.
Leaving a little blue ring on the store shelf.
Yeah.
The big warning should be, why are there suddenly so many dollar stores back when that exploded?
And the answer is because people capitalize on like skeeby shit.
It's perceived.
Exactly.
Oh, we're going to save your money here at Dollar General.
And then they can excuse it away in court.
The court would like to show you this evidence.
they charge way more than a dollar for things at a store with the name dollar on it.
Well, we believe that general means generally speaking.
Generally a dollar.
Yeah, not the general like the rank in the army.
Not that.
Or general store.
Not that.
Puds.
Anyway, thanks for the warning.
We appreciate it.
Again, that is, let's give them the name.
It's L.A.'s totally awesome brand.
Yeah.
To L.A.'s totally awesome brand.
Wind show washer.
fluid. Yeah, you're going to have fish air in your car. Don't do it. But it'll be really good on your
California roll. Yeah, no. Just a little on there. Right, little right on there instead of the eel sauce,
use the fish sauce. Yeah, a little sprits. Sean W. wrote in. Maybe he goes by scene. I don't know.
These names, the way these people spell their name, Sean, I'll never understand it. He says,
I wanted to comment on the practice of buying food for the car behind you while paying kindness forward.
my buddy taught me to find out how much it would cost and instead tip the workers.
Those drive-thru workers are likely way more deserving of kindness than the $60,000 Jeep behind you.
It's a fair point.
However, here's the argument I would make.
And I just think this is a perfectly fine thing to do, by the way.
This is fine.
A great alternative.
It isn't that you're trying to help the $60,000 Jeep guy who you think might be on hard financial times.
It's that you're just trying to.
to show strangers, that strangers can do kind things for strangers.
Right.
It's like the, um, it's a little surprise to just perk up your day.
You got a free coffee or whatever, which you'll have to dump out once you go to first
period.
But still.
Yeah.
Yeah.
If you live in wherever that was, New York, upstate New York.
Here's the thing, though, like, if I go through McDonald's drive-thru, I'm, I'm paying
so much more than I used to for food.
Yeah.
It's stupid how high the prices have gotten.
It's ridiculous, yeah.
And they way overshot, in my opinion,
and now they're going to have to struggle to figure out how to retain people.
And Burger Kings biting into their, no pun intended, into their bottom line because they're not,
they haven't jacked it up as much.
And, you know, watching the fast food have wars is not really my interest.
But if you get up there and you're like, what's the guy behind me getting?
It's at least 25 to 30 bucks now.
Yeah.
It's no longer like 850 to cover his combo meal or whatever.
No, I'm certainly not going to do that.
I may, you know, if the person in front of me does that with a cup of coffee at Starbucks, and believe me, I go to Starbucks once in a blue moon.
It's like when the coffee maker doesn't work at Panera.
They're never anyone's first choice anymore.
No, exactly.
But if the person in front of me is like, oh, they just bought your coffee, I'll be like, how much did the person behind me spend?
It's like, oh, 450, they got a latte.
Like, I'll buy theirs.
Yeah, that makes sense to me.
But I do like this idea of tipping the fast food workers.
That's really good.
Kim does that anyway.
And it always,
it's like,
I don't want to.
Should I talk about this?
We went, okay.
It'll never get back to her.
So you might as well.
We go through this Taco Bell line.
Kim gets a lot of good karma in life.
She ends up.
People will be like,
don't worry, ma'am.
We'll cover the difference.
A lot of moments of where she gets
really great treatment from somebody else.
And I'm certain that it's because she is
constantly outputting the other direction.
Putting it out to the universe, yes.
Yeah.
And whether you believe in all that or not,
all I know is she just has some weird witch power
where she gets,
she gets discounts and things.
She has no right getting and no one in front of her got
because there's something there.
I don't know what it is.
But she is always doing this.
So we're in,
there was this one time we're in line at a Taco Bell.
And it makes sense to me.
It's like, oh, we got an extra $3.50 and change.
Please keep that kid.
That's for you, right?
Sure.
No problem.
this one time though she was like oh where are the I had some dollars and some quarters in here where did all go I'm like I don't know probably the last place you were and she went oh shoot all yeah it was a 20 and then we get up there and the thing we were buying at Taco Bell was maybe 10 bucks and she gave this kid a 20 and I said oh I did like a full on like sopranos oh what are we doing here the 20 with a 20 no she gave him the 10 and the 20 on top of it oh no no no
No, really.
She gave this kid a $20 tip.
And I said,
Why not just give him the $20?
And then he's still getting a $10 tip.
That's what I would have said.
She did the card.
She did the card for the meal and then the cash for him.
So I know, I know.
And I was like, my gosh, honey, we can't be doing that.
And she looks at me dead in the face and says,
I have a feeling about this one.
I need it.
I feel like this was important.
I had to do it.
Okay.
And I went, all right.
As long as you don't feel like that,
every time we go anywhere.
But she just felt,
had this really strong feeling
of this kid needed it.
And I said,
I'm not going to argue
with your intuition.
It's often right.
So we'll let that one go.
All right.
And I'll just,
I guess I won't be eating anything today.
Freaking,
I'm going to be licking the sauce off the packet
because I can't,
I lost 20 bucks today.
Gosh, dang it.
Yeah.
Yeah.
She's really good at that stuff.
It's good.
She,
you know,
my proximity to Kim,
I feel like allows me
to not tip it
fast food restaurants because Kim's got it for a lot of us.
She got all of it.
She may give them 20 bucks and guess what?
That goes a long way.
Kim's got this.
Yeah.
I love it.
All right.
Let's move on now to this thing.
Oh, and finally.
This isn't a message, but it is one that I got.
I'm not going to read.
I'm not going to read this message that I got.
I'm just going to tell you about it a little bit.
Got a guy yesterday sent a text saying,
no, it was a YouTube comment.
He said that he's quitting the show, kind of rage quitting the show.
Yeah.
Because we implied one day that Elon Musk is kind of a racist bag of shit,
which I stand by, by the way.
Yeah.
And if that person's listening, I just want them to know two things.
One, it's okay.
It's fine.
Go ahead.
Totally.
Our stuff is not for everyone.
And it's perfectly within your rights to disagree and to stop listening to show.
You can stop listening for any reason you want to.
Yeah.
You could say, I don't like that time Scott made this noise.
You know, and then you can, whatever.
We've had people who threatened that too.
Yeah, we have people that don't like it.
So I get it, whatever, that's fine.
It's actually three things.
Two, second thing is, I'll never understand for the life of me why anybody would stand for billionaires of any kind, let alone one who is just, he's saying and doing things that I'm not making shit up whole cloth.
If I say I think he's a racist Nazi shitbag,
I'm not just saying that.
He says things, does things,
posts things that say what I'm saying.
So it's not crazy when he says,
when you go to his Twitter feed or his freaking X feed
and he says something like,
someone will post something like the white race is being wiped out by
the great replacement theory, this and that.
And he'll,
and he tweets it and types true at the top.
That's not,
are you saying that that,
what am I supposed to do with that information?
That is the information I'm giving you when I talk about it on the show.
Yeah.
He's a racist, xenophobic, a-hole.
And he threw the freaking Heil, Heil, Hitler thing twice in the same video, and then
pretended he didn't.
I'm just saying, like, what am I supposed to say about the guy?
No, I mean, the thing that, that, I mean, I didn't like the guy before this, but the thing
that really did it was the video of him on stage with his doge, you know, when they were doing the whole like, um, clearing out, uh, federal departments. And he had his chainsaw and he's cheering all these people losing their jobs. And he's up there cheering like, you know, like he just won the voice. And, uh, that's the, you know, that was like, all right, you're a completely insensitive, douchebag. Um, done with you. Yeah.
kind of thing.
No, he's kind of the worst, because he also has a lot of power and he has a lot of money.
I'll give you an example of this thing.
If you are telling me, if I can find it here, no, it's back.
You tell me that right there is not what that is?
You're full of shit.
Exactly, yes.
So don't come.
This is all I'm saying.
Leave the show for any reason you want.
And why you want to lick that dude's boots, I'll never understand it.
Just so you know, he's never giving you a dime of his money.
Just so you know, he's never going to be your friend.
and he's not going to give you a free Tesla.
We're not getting cyber trucks, Scott.
He's not getting after he hears this.
Oh, yeah.
Now we won't.
You and I'm not getting free cyber trucks.
Yeah, now we won't.
But this weird thing where people need to feel like they have to defend him is absolutely wild to me.
Like, go ahead and like the stuff.
If you like his satellite internet, if you like what he's doing with space, that's fine.
Have your weird diverse opinions.
I'm saying he's a dick because of what he says and does.
It's that simple.
I'm not making it up.
all right i didn't mean to go off that hard
no it's fine it's fine
gotta get a rant at him once in a while
yes uh let's get out of here
we're done with the show if you'd like to send us

This is a good one.
Let me double check to make sure.
Yep, I did put it in the folder.
John Kelly wrote in, said,
this goes out to my fiancé Marissa on her happiest birthday.
She's been there for me through a rough year with my father being sick
with a long-term illness and passing away a few months ago.
Her and I had talked about getting married for a while.
Last month made that official.
Now to start planning for the wedding next year.
She is my rock and I look forward to many more birthdays in the future.
This song has another special meaning as it's sung by the Portland Timbers fans.
every game and he gives you the chills hearing thousands of people singing this at the same time while holding up our scarves.
That's nice.
This is Haley Reinhardt's cover of Can't Help Falling in Love.
She just has such a gorgeous voice.
This is just a perfect diversion.
Came out on her 2015 album Better.
Going out to John Kelly, here is Can't Help Falling in Love.
Wise.
