Ernest Angel loves me.
You're rolling?
Are you rolling?
How you running?
Two.
One, come in what you both to.
This angel loves me.
Is that what he's saying?
Yeah, I finally figured it out.
Do we know who that?
All right, welcome back to episode 119 of the OK podcast.
Power by the Stranko.
I'm your host, Grant Broji.
And I am joined live in studio today.
with Major Jeff Bouget, Big A, Big A, Buege, whatever you want to call them.
I do love that I've met more people across the core and across our fandom,
which means I talk to my mother, and they say, how do you say his name?
And I just don't answer it.
I just leave it on red.
I like to leave things on red.
If you text me right now, there's probably somewhere in the neighborhood,
127 text messages that I haven't responded to.
But Major Jeff Buege, coming to us from.
not Mobile. We wish it was
Mobile. Mobile sounds cool.
But it's Montgomery, Alabama.
He's in a drilling status.
Technically,
technically, not legally.
So he is indeed going to school as a
major. Major. Major.
Major. Major.
Major. But he may or may not
being getting paid.
We don't want to put anyone on blast.
But if you listen to this and you say, is that possible
that someone would move across the country for higher education
in order to fight the nation's battles and still not being paid,
it is possible.
I actually know two majors,
major,
that are currently executing moves in school and not getting paid.
And that's why we call it government.
That's why it's government.
If it was a small government, it would be effective.
So we like large governments so that we can have,
jobs to train and fight for them. Also during in
studio. And I think this is true for the first time
in 100 and 19 episodes from
Odessa is Mr. Robert Trey Gowellish.
Are you in Odessa? I'm close.
Okay, close enough. That's good. I mean, if you're in Texas,
you're basically in Odessa. Yeah, so Robert
Trey Gallage, the third. We got a lot of exciting things
to talk about. Last week was a short episode.
let's just say we were overcome by events.
Okay, we had pressing matters to get to
SecWor called us mid-podcast.
And was like, hey, we need you guys to strike some targets.
And so we did just that.
For free.
For free.
That's his favorite kind of.
He's a budget guy.
He's asking for $1.5 trillion.
And he technically needs two if he was going to pay Jeff and I.
Yeah.
Well, Jeff's buddy.
He'll get us on the packet.
He'll get us on the back.
on the back end.
He'll get us in the back end.
Yeah,
exactly.
Yeah, just pay you in T.
That's where our money went.
Which is really, which is really a, I mean, it's, I don't know how else you could be paid
more thankfully than testosterone.
Price of Bitcoin is $66,140 and $2.28.
We're pumping.
It's a little bit of a dump right now.
You should buy if you're not in on this.
I saw recently on the X world that 0.21 Bitcoins.
That's the cutaway.
That's when you're either a Bitcoin guy or not a Bitcoin guys
if you own 0.21 bitcoins.
But what I would like to bring to your attention is 10019 times,
we've stuck these silly microphones in front of our faces,
which is tough to do against tall grass,
but we do it because we're from the South.
And we're good dudes.
And we keep doing it.
over and over and every time we do it bitcoin's still on the up so if you took a per capita
approach of how many episodes and the price of bitcoin since january one which i believe was
twenty twenty four do i have that right was it twenty twenty four we started this yeah twenty
four it's a for um bitcoin is pumping it's pumping uh so if you haven't bought it
you're an idiot uh if you're not watching us on youtube you're also an idiot and
I want to clarify that to my mother who listens.
She says, you call me an idiot every week.
And I said, well, Mom, all you got to do is click on the YouTube link,
and then you're no longer an idiot.
So, Mom, if you're listening to this and you're not watching on YouTube,
we have our Toledo Mudhins hats on.
We're big Toledo Mudheads hats, guys.
We're big Toledo mudheads guys.
All roads run through Toledo.
We've always said that.
We've never not said that.
We'll never stop saying it.
true um that's just the way it goes a lot to talk about tonight excited to be here the red socks
have won 15 in a row in the middle of double a header they're playing right now i almost wore my
red socks hat but i remember that all roads run through toledo we got outlying stations
just chopping at the bit quite honestly i mean the amount of people wanting to enlist in commission
on the podcast is it's hard to keep up with um if i start talking about packing my
car, I'm really sorry, but I'm really acclimating well to the life here in New England.
I mean, 15 straight, that hasn't happened since Ted Williams.
I mean, so part of me doesn't even want the streak to be broken because it was Ted Williams.
And Ted Williams is a great American hero.
And so if I'm parking my car this episode, forgive me, might be packing my car all year.
Ted, is that the guy from Cheers?
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
So is that what it feels like to talk to me?
Yeah.
Oh, so you say something that everyone knows, and then the guy just, like, brings up a random, like, is it that thing?
Yeah.
Hey, cheers also in Boston, right?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Not Ted Williams, but also in, but this is like talking to me.
Wow.
That's a great.
I know, I now kind of, for the first time of my life, I might feel a little bit bad.
You know, I just like to hold up the mirror every now and then just, you know, just let you know what it's like.
Yeah.
We are live on.
X. It's Wednesday. I didn't say this part, which I always say. I've never not said it. July the 22nd
in the year of our Lord, 2026. And we're live on X. So if you tuned in last night, which I, by the way,
there are listeners that wait, because I got three text messages last night that said,
you're not live. And I thought, oh, people, people are waiting for us on the exit.
So X marks the spot.
I've always said that.
And X is where we're live.
We're live here right now.
Don't wait till Friday.
You know,
what we'd really like is to see all of you start listening to the show live.
And then we could just cut PJ right at the throat.
We just cut them off.
There's no production.
There's no bill.
The sponsorship money just goes directly into our pockets.
And if you just watch on X or listen on X,
we could just get rid of PJ.
I mean, we just completely gone.
And he's, you know, he's a dad.
He gets it.
It's a, it's a rough world out there, you know.
Anyway, with that, I'll turn it over to three.
Well, I mean, especially in this economy, you know,
if you could save a few pennies here and there,
a few Bitcoin here and there, you might as well save it.
Who's going to do the Duncan logo going across the screen?
Oh, yeah, PJ.
Like this one.
Yeah, PJ Duncan logo.
I don't even know if.
he's been doing that lately. I feel like he's been
sandbagging. Inviting himself
on the... The boss leaves one
week. PJ's on the podcast.
Okay, PJ.
We just added
ourselves. We're all idiots. We don't watch on YouTube.
Yeah. I watch on YouTube.
Well, I'm subscribed.
I don't watch.
Dude, my...
Am I...
Did you... Do you like... Do you...
Or on then, in that case?
Or just subscribe. I do most
the time go in and like.
Hey, everybody, listen up. This is our...
Trash Six. We're a little behind schedule
tonight. I appreciate everybody coming in.
Remember the meeting is the meeting itself.
I appreciate the comments.
Old Corps, been reaching out. Old breed is
I like to call them saying, never quit the staff
brief. And we have no plans
to quit staff brief. I've got a lot of
exciting stuff to talk about. We got Faismo coming down
the pipe. Four, we'll talk about that later.
But three, go ahead. Your show, brother.
Thank you. Thank you, sir.
I, sir. We'll
comply, sir. Roger.
Sir. Okay.
Let's take it over to S1.
Let me let me know what you got going on with the administration section, administrative section.
I'm sure you're over there busy just making people's orders happen, making sure people are getting paid.
You know, it hasn't been, oh gosh, close to three months now that, you know, these orders have been getting worked on and they're still not done.
I mean, I digress.
I digress.
S one, or the numbers bumping.
Good afternoon.
Sir, commanders, staff, sergeants, major, Cajun and Gullo type, commander Trashix Actual.
This is Gunny Abraeu.
I'm the S-1 chief.
Many of you are looking at me like you've never seen me before.
That's because I never come out of my office.
You could generally find me in my office between about 1,100 and 1,300 when the office is closed.
I'm usually in PT gear eating chicken and rice.
We've had a lot of complaints for payments not being made for both active duty and the reservists,
particularly the reservist.
And they're not getting paid.
And we understand we feel for you.
We really do that you executed your move and spend a bunch of money to get to your school.
but well the internet's been down mostly mostly the internet's been out and so we just can't run the
EPLARS and we can't run any unit diaries but don't worry we're going to fix it and if you need
anything I'm in my office from 11 to 1,300 when we're closed for training nothing further for the
group great great brief real good stuff appreciate it guns all right uh and
S2. Let's hear, let's hear from you.
I let the bottom line up front.
Straight, straight, straight, true moves.
Open or closed. Yes or no.
Bottom line up front.
Gentlemen, yes.
Just getting back from leave, turning my bearings under me.
Just Google this.
Straight of Horamuz is functionally closed.
I'm not sure what that means.
Oh.
Hey, this is the Gulles, Sergeant Major.
Did you go to is a straight of whomews open.com?
I just Google this.
Yeah, don't be using chat GPD there, devil dog.
You got to go to is the straight of Hormuz Open.com.
Is the straight of Hormuz Open.com?
Yeah, now you speak in my language.
And dot com, don't go to dot edu.
It looks like they updated their.
Oh, yours looks different than mine.
It's still no.
Anyway, sure, I'll back off and let the lieutenant speak.
Go ahead there, doze.
Oh, is there?
are two?
Are there competing domains?
Oh my God.
Is there going to breach?
Is there going to breach?
That's my one?
I cannot confirm.
Goodbye.
That's right.
Both of these.
Outside of that, gentlemen,
Strider,
whom moves appears to be closed.
As I said,
just get back off leave.
Enjoyed my leave.
Thank you,
Sergeant Major.
Oh, yes.
I'll be enjoyed that.
I'll be enjoyed that little bit of,
little boodin.
So, thanks for
I'm going to, oh, okay, sorry, Major.
This is trash five.
Lieutenant, did you go to Sergeant Major's house on leave?
No, oh, no, sir.
That's how I got the leave.
Oh, why did you see?
I don't know if you remember this.
We talk about this every week, sir.
You go to his house.
You eat gumbo.
So you could go to his house.
But I was not on leave when I was at his house.
I received the leave after, yeah, from going to his house.
Yeah, no, that's usually the M.O, the Sard Major, you go to his house and get a week leave.
So, yeah, no, all good, LT.
Stop by my office if you need a bill of a description for your fit rep.
Oh, Roger, sir.
It's, I'll stop by your office.
I'm actually getting ready to check out, sir.
I'm heading over and try out for the go fasters over there.
What are they called?
Marsok, A&Sach, that's the one, yeah.
Okay, okay.
We'll talk career progression.
Come by, see me.
Oh, yes, sir, yeah.
Yeah, come by, see, yeah.
Come by, see him, yeah.
That's good. Hey, Sarr Major, thanks for what you do for the LTs.
Yes, well, let's eat on. Happy to do us.
Just trying to impasse some wisdom. So make sure there's no mustache around here.
Okay. Go tag us.
Go tag us.
Okay. Hey, great stuff to feel like we all just got a little bit smarter and a little bit savvier.
What the enemy's doing out there, right?
What we like do here attract science red red sell it.
You know, for the tenants in the room, right?
That's where you.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Oh, no.
Somebody didn't pay the power bill.
Enemy, get the boat.
You got a live enemy.
We got a red selling, you know.
Oh, yes, sir.
Yeah, red selling.
That's where you turn the map around or the trash around, right?
And you think from the trash's perspective.
And that's what we need to do.
We need to think from the trash's perspective.
So I want a full write-up for,
you for our next trash
X that we do as a battalion. I want you
to put a whole like enemy enemy
trash situation together.
You're talking to Gulles. I didn't make it
because I'm on the first song board next
month. Would you sign that to me?
Oh no. I'm talking to the dues. I'm talking to the young
L.T. here. Yes, sir. Yes, sir.
From my understanding, sir, you
want me to just go out and just litter before we go to the field?
Well, I'm saying
that, but like, you know, think about if you
were the trash. Okay.
Think about from the trash.
perspective, right? We call it turn the map around. Okay, right? Like literally get a map and then just
turn it around. Brother, trash five. It's like, so he's talking red cell. Remember, there's a blue
cell and there's a red cell. And sometimes you need to white cell, which is kind of like the C2 of the
red and blue cells. And I just appreciate my brother over there at the three talking about
thinking it from the red side. Anyway, good job, Major.
Oh.
Oh, he's gone.
Yeah, he's gone.
PJ put a dunk in across the stream.
Yeah.
I think he's got it figured out.
Jeff just left.
Jeff just left.
Okay, three alpha.
That you, Trey.
Go ahead, drive.
Oh, never mind.
Three's back.
Go ahead.
Okay, have we turned to the map around yet?
Yeah, sir, Matt's turn around.
I just want to know which.
directions a map is facing. Can you just give me a quick brief. Can you orientate me real quick?
It's facing you away from me. Yeah. Okay. Okay. Okay. Yeah. Do we do we have, I don't,
and I noticed that these terrain features are more like, like, uh, they're not boot top high.
Okay, they need to be boot top high, right. I need to be able to feel like I'm walking the terrain.
I walk the terrain model. I don't know if they're teaching that at TBS anymore, uh, but you know,
these are important, uh, officership skills.
Hey, boot top high, tough to do against tall grass.
I completely forgot about terrain models.
I love doing that.
Yeah, wow.
What a great time.
What a great time.
Art of crafts.
Let's just, what are you doing this weekend?
Well, I got about 4,000 feet of yarn, a bunch of sticks, and some dirt.
And I'm going to just make a sandbox, but I'm going to do a war plan on it.
Good, good.
What? Yeah, so like the yarn is grid squares, actually.
That's my north-seeking arrow. Don't forget my north-seeking era.
Right.
Be lost without it.
But anyway, hey, it's trash five.
Can we keep sidebars to a minimum?
Oh, yeah.
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Terrain models.
Don't get me going.
Okay.
Good stuff, Deuce.
Yeah, all right.
So three, hey, I sent out the, I blasted out the email to everybody.
Make sure you check in your inbox.
is, okay, updated version of trash fighting.
So, Rain Corps, Doctional Trash Publication, MDTP1,
trash fighting.
They have updated it, right?
Again, they get in there, and they talk about turning the map around
and thinking about the at the perspective of the trash and how we fight that.
Okay, so make sure you're getting in there.
Stay up on your pubs, right?
Up to your pub library as officers and staff NGOs, right?
We need to maintain a robust pub library at all.
all times. Okay.
This is trash five real quick. Don't forget,
pubs are a part of Fasmo. Four is going to speak about
it later. We got Faismo coming down the pipe.
Your publication library is super
important.
Hey, carry on, brother. Thanks, brother.
Great. Great, your point.
Great inject. Hey, hey, how about those
IPAs that we had?
That's usually, dear.
I got a new, I got a new
hazy. You can come over.
Brother, that thing, man, I don't
I don't even think they used a filter, brother.
brother that's what I'm talking about that's my jam right there
brother that's my jam you come over have an IPA
we'll hang with bring the wife and the kids over
brother brother perfect yeah thanks for okay okay
all right carrying on
s4 what do you got for us here
that's you train
gentlemen yeah no nothing more for the group
this is our trash six
oh yeah yes sir
could I get a current count
on dumpster readiness.
You know, a lot.
When I first came to this battalion,
get on my soapbox for a second.
My first came to this battalion,
we used to do formations in the motor pool.
And I thought that was interesting
because I said we're a trash battalion.
We should do formations by the dumpsters.
And so ever since I've been here,
we've been lining up,
going out there,
put blood stripes on backbones of the Marine Corps
in front of the dumpsters.
And anyway, I noticed outside the Chow Hall
We usually have three dumpsters back there.
Moral formation.
We had two.
Is there a, do I need to raise a flag?
No, I can explain that one, sir.
I can get those.
I can get those GOs.
You know,
I can get them spinning if I need to.
You just got to tell me four.
I got your back.
I got your back.
That's what you could fly over a beach in Florida and I'd have your back, right?
I don't know what that means.
I appreciate it, sir.
I'm from Toledo.
Oh, Toledo.
Oh.
Yes, sir.
Yeah, you better run in the minor leagues over there.
Yeah, you're talking about the mud hands?
Oh, the mud ends, yeah.
I knew you were a good one for.
Anyway, tell him about the dumpsters.
Yes, sir, yeah, that dumpster you're referring to.
That's one that's signed out to the Sard Major for, I believe, one of his parties.
So it's a counter for him.
You still got a dumpster?
Oh, yes.
So I'm going to hold that dumpster for a little bit.
I'm being a ton of them little crowd down, little bugs.
you know, I got someone that I have someone to throw them away.
So that's all I needed for.
All right.
Let's let's talk offline.
It's all right.
Nothing we're talking about.
But if you want to talk, we'll talk.
Go tag her.
Okay.
Okay.
Hey, great stuff for good, good update, good update.
Hey, you know, that's good accountability of the dumpsters, right?
Real quick.
Yeah, phase mo.
Update on Facebook.
Yes.
It's still coming down about three.
It's still coming.
It's, okay, okay.
It's trash five.
It's in the pipe still?
It's on the pipe, yeah.
In the pipe on the pipe.
Okay, cool, cool.
I like to say in the hose, it's in the hose.
Right, right.
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
It's trash six.
We got to talk hoses.
I think hoses, I think hoses, what drones do for warfare, I think hoses do for trash.
So we got to, we got to talk offline for.
Yeah, I appreciate what you do.
Appreciate what you do.
Appreciate it.
I know you hate your MOS.
You're probably trying to go to Saw or Maws and.
lat move or something, but let's talk
for us. Hey, hey,
amateurs. It's my number one, sir.
This is what I think. Amateurs talk
tactics.
Professionals talk trash. All right.
So, let's talk.
Yes, sir. All right.
I'm so motivated right now. Great,
great wisdom, sir. Thank you.
Thank you.
Okay.
We got a medical and dental
and chaps and even our
Navy personnel.
This is Mr. Dwight from housing.
I know we ain't been talking about the barracks in the housing lately.
I just, I'm going to put my card right here.
And you guys take a photo of my card.
And you might be going to Okinawa.
You could be going to Japan.
You could be going to California.
You could be going to Texas.
Oh, yeah.
But this card is not for you.
No.
It's for your wife.
Okay.
And any other base, nobody takes, nobody loves it.
loves the job like me.
So take a photo of my card and give it to your wife.
And if you got housing troubles, I mean, one time I saw a guy with a lease
and the lease said that when the lease was over,
if the house wasn't renting,
then the lease,
a lease,
sir,
had to pay the rent until it was renting again.
And I said,
we got put a military clause in there.
So come by,
see me.
My name's Dwight.
nobody cares more about you than me okay and nobody cares about your wife more than you except also for
me so take a photo of my card it's right here uh it's hot so i'm gonna leave now but my card is here
take a photo of it send it to your wife because you ain't gonna be oh red cell blue cell
take a photo on a card send to your wife and then when you got a problem you let me know you'd be
Virginia. I answered the phone.
Another for the group.
All right, Dwight. We'll see you next year.
Hey, thanks. Dwight. Great. Yeah.
Good, good to see you. Good to see you.
Great guy better at housing.
Okay, perfect. Okay, let's move on.
That matter where you are, you'll pick up.
He'll pick up.
It's like a tax guy.
Just take a picture of that card.
Whoa, man. Okay, S6, how are we doing on S6?
Do we have any communications stuff to talk about?
That's you, Tray.
Did that meet again?
Yeah.
Gentlemen, good afternoon.
Start your engines.
Oh, sorry, I heard, gentlemen.
Let's go ahead and keep sidebars to him in a moment.
Coms, I have really heard no bad things about comms here as of late, which is good news.
The only bad things I've heard about is a record jacket, gentlemen.
Start from scratch.
same story different
week
it is trash five
any particular
unit you want to call out
I could get some
red ass going on the exos
I'm sure
yeah the star major came down
looked at him
he did not like the color of them
he requested that they be
it's trash five
I'm sorry I'm still adjusting
this Cajun sergeant major
the Cajun
the sergeant major
came down to look at
record
Which one?
The Cavesarveni.
He wanted the record jagas to be purple and yellow.
So, Gold Tigers.
Goatigas.
So I just think that purple and yellow looks very stately, looks very good.
Gentlemen, I try to explain to him that the purple and yellow regga.
It's not, Phase Mo will not like that.
He said he did not care.
They need to be purple and yellow.
So I just.
We're just going to, this trash five, sorry, just to wrap my 10,000 pound brain around this.
We're just going to change the color of all of the record jackets.
Yeah.
Because an 89, 99, 99 is a LSU fan.
Yeah, objectively, they do look pretty good.
Yeah.
Okay.
Hey, brother, this is three.
Oh, yeah.
I'll be honest.
I was skeptical as well.
I went down, I went up the hill to the comm shop.
They look pretty squared away.
They look pretty squared away.
So you're good with it, brother?
Oh, brother.
I'm good with it.
And, you know, I think, I think Camo is good with it.
You know, he's, he's the, he's the guy on the ground.
He's in the trenches, right?
He's looking left.
Hey, six.
It's stress six.
Go tigers.
Purple and go.
Yeah.
What did you two?
My sir.
Go drink your IPA and come over.
Bring them IPAs over.
Have you some mud bugs.
Have you a little bit of gumbo?
It will be all right, gentlemen.
I'll take you up on that, actually.
I would love to come over.
Yeah. Can I come over Saturday?
How spicy is this gumbo?
Is it spicy?
You know, I don't do great spicy food.
And like how happy of an IPH should I bring over?
Yeah.
Yeah, no, I don't know what that means.
So I'm going to go ahead.
I just drink some cool.
So that's all I usually have.
What's that?
Louisiana beer.
I'll beat up.
Yeah.
I'm sorry, Andrew.
I'll bring you some albeda.
Yeah, but we'll bring over to Albeda.
I don't know about whatever hazy is.
Yeah, get that on beer radar.
Ah, beer radar.
You're here for the trade market.
Potential sponsor.
Domain.
Albeda, potential sponsor.
Should we go to outline stations?
Yeah, let's go to outline stations.
I don't, I didn't see.
The chaplain did not check in.
Must be back on, on, on, no, no, no, no.
No, no, no.
I'm glad you brought it up.
He said Zuckerberg,
um,
Zuckerberg,
aka Sec War
is not allowing
chaps to email off the domain.
Wow.
Uh,
so I actually have
chaps here.
Oh, you got,
you got a direct line.
Yeah,
he has Durloth to me.
Trash fired.
Updated slides, sir.
Chaplin checking in.
Thank goodness.
Said he wanted an update on communion
gumbo.
Trash said,
said he wanted an update on the communion gumbo bowl record jackets.
Those have all been accounted for,
and the tracker for this can be found in teams.
Oh, thank you, Jeff.
Before I sign off, I do want to share what I was reading this morning.
Therefore, as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord,
so walk in him, having been firmly rooted and now built up in him
and established in your faith,
just as you were instructed and overflowing with gratitude,
see to it that no one takes you captive through philosophy and empty deception according to the tradition of man
according to the elementary principles of the word rather than according to christ colostas 2 6 through 8
n asb 95 the traditions of men will tell you not to take trash seriously that we can simply toss to the side and ignore it
God's word tells us not to follow these elementary principles.
As trash battalion, we were called to a higher calling,
and we are to be firmly rooted in truth.
Secure the trash over, thanks for what you do.
Chaplain out.
Good stuff, chaps.
Okay, chaps, we appreciate what you do, chaps.
I know chaps, you home with a new kid chaps.
Probably dealing with like 19 suicidal ideations a week from the battalion,
um, doing the Lord's work.
no pun intended.
Hey, great stuff.
Okay, I had another outline station checked in.
We got John K or John Kelo for you military types.
Colorado checking in.
Can confirm have read field manual 4TAC25.1 2 fighting trash in the field.
If you don't fight trash now, you will fight trash fires later.
All trash secured in sector 7.
I don't know.
We got this guy's guy.
to send me his address. We got to send him a little fun bag because he checks in every week.
He's, I mean, he's basically part of the show. It might have him as a guest. So,
sector seven, just DM the OK podcast. You're out your address. We get a little something coming for you.
You get it. Okay. You check in every week. Those stories are not posted as jokes. They're posted to get
people in and get people interactive. We appreciate your feedback. And for those of you that used to
check in, I'm not going to name names, but Lieutenant Colonel Dan O'Connell, Shawnee, one more,
Billy Martin, Billy Martin, Billy Mitchell, Shelly Ring, Billy Mitchell, Tanner Baird. You think
you're all fancy with the Lift Hard Live Easy Classic 5. You can't check into the staff brief.
Like, guys, this battalion runs off outlying stations.
So if you're listening, mom, whoever you might be, when that post goes, you got 24 hours to, you know, get in here.
Kanye West keeps replying to the stories.
We haven't read those yet.
We're saving those for a rainy day.
Him and Jack White.
But anyway, we appreciate you, Sector 7.
He's doing the Lord's work out there.
picking up that trash i mean not to be confused with the chaplains work right yeah yeah yeah i mean you know
one in one in the same almost you know 32 minutes should we uh start the show yeah god yeah
i guess i don't know tray what do you think we keep the staff brief going i'm in
yeah let's go and start show okay let's start the show let's start show
well um hey speaking of uh wait train
Do we have any sponsors of this show?
Is there anybody powering the show?
I forgot something.
Oh, the socks are coming back.
It's 4 to 1.
This episode is brought to you by BW. Tax.
BW. Tax, great guy better at taxes.
Hails from Acton Mass, not to be confused with Boston.
It's like when people say, where do you live?
And you say, Utah.
And they say, oh, Salt Lake City.
And you look at them like, no, there's more Mormon provinces in Utah
all than just Salt Lake City. I could live somewhere else. He's from acting mass, but he's a New England fan,
a large New England fan. He went to the Citadel, which was interesting. He went there and took the
war of Northern aggression as an elective in college. And while you might think, like, what's this
Yankee doing in South Carolina and how can he help me? The answer is, it doesn't actually matter
where your CPA lives. Your CPA could live in Mars, and Elon will make that possible very soon.
your CPA could live on the moon and still do your taxes.
So there's never a better day to start thinking about next year's taxes than today.
So go to bwtaxlc.com, book an appointment.
And the good thing is, if you're like me or like Strenko customers,
and you email them like the website,
but then you just can't wait, so you go ahead and text them and call,
you're going to get a response on all platforms.
That's why we call it BW Tax.
This episode is also brought to you, wait one,
by Green Gridiron, Gridiron Green.
This is a Marine Corps helmet from the 2021 Army Navy Navy Football Game,
which is to show you that really just about any helmet can be made.
What do you call this, Jeff, on the top?
So they make sure they don't shoot officers.
Quadrefoil.
Yeah, that one.
So that's up top.
as a visor. We're big visor guys.
All of us. Historically accurate visor.
Yeah, we all love visors. Yeah, this is what they wore on the Revolutionary War, actually.
Tund Tavern, this visor is actually taken from a part of the bar at Tuntavern.
So you can get a helmet at Mr. Helmet.com.
Don't go to Mr. Helmut.com. Click the link in the show notes.
Green, gridiron, gridiron green.
They keep the lights on and Duncan going across the screen, B.J.
Okay.
love it. Well,
I'll see. Now I'll start.
Okay, okay. I mean, we kind of
talked about, I said we, you know,
he's a big follower of the show,
always commenting on YouTube, always
hitting us up on Instagram. It's just kind of
annoying at this point, really. But we should
give Jack White, you know, a little time here
on podcast. New album out.
And then, uh,
he's on Spotify?
Maybe.
Better question. It's on Apple music.
Can I buy it on vinyl? Can I buy it on vinyl?
I cannot say for 100% sure, but I would put a lot of money.
Is it the one that's the like looks like a baseball?
Or is that just his Boston show?
It's like a it's called Frozen Charlotte.
He went to the guy in Fenway and then played Boston the same night.
Oh, that's cool.
Yeah.
He's a big baseball guy.
He's the biggest baseball guy.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Okay, you can buy
vinyl.
Oh, you can?
Is there any, like, limited edition,
maybe a special color
that I'll go for some on eBay in like a couple years?
And if I remember a lieutenant on duty again,
I can spend, like, my whole lead paycheck.
Asking for a friend.
As just like a lieutenant colonel,
you volunteer for duty because you got to buy vinyl.
Just to buy a Jack White.
Just to buy Jack White vinyl.
I just want to say, Jeff, I feel like the, I think it was about a month ago, episode
1-15, you guys didn't appreciate my frustration with the light turning off.
And I wanted you guys to.
Jeff wasn't on that one.
No, Jeff wasn't on it.
It was just me.
Oh, that's right.
Jeff, first time we.
It was when he was in the field.
Yeah, he was in the field.
He had no lights.
He only had a red light.
Right.
Just the red lens.
Just the red lens.
Enemy can't see the red lens.
No, they can't.
Jeff, the auto lights in the gym kept going off.
Grant was waving his hands like a madman.
It wasn't good.
That's good.
No, it's good.
No, I think the little like, it's like the,
this thing's like overheating.
So like the outlet still works because my computer chargers plugged into the same outlet
and it's greening.
It's, you know, I got green gumballs.
You said it's overheating, but remember it's not the heat.
It's the humidity.
Right.
That it's on the get you.
That's what gets you.
Because if it's a dry heat, it's no problem.
Dry heat, no problem.
It could be 130 degrees.
Sir, are you like resetting the breaker every time or what?
I'm just putting in a different outlet.
Oh.
There's like an outlet over there.
There are four different outlets within me.
It's not true to be the outlet.
Outlet guy.
Yeah.
Because there's stuff.
So about putting it into a hose?
Oh.
That one works.
I just need to find a guy that can speak, you know,
in depth on all sorts of hoses.
Hey, so I just moved.
I'm gonna, I'm gonna, I'm gonna, a little wizard of Oz here behind the curtain.
Uh, Grant is Grant's buddy.
And it is actually me.
It actually is me that moved.
Dude, I'm, I moved into a furnished place.
And I have really strong opinions on their hoses.
Uh, and they're not good.
And I'm just like, why would you do?
I didn't do that to my tenant.
I left my tenant in California with the best hoses you could possibly have.
And now I get this.
Because you're a good dude.
Crank thing.
And the irrigation is like a snap fitting where the hose I have people in their hoses.
It's crazy.
It's like lifting Chinese plates.
That's crazy.
Why would I?
Preach for each.
That's a great.
How is it?
Yeah, I know.
How was, uh, wait, I don't know, we're like 40 minutes in.
haven't talked about anything.
What?
I'm not moved into a furnished
furnished place.
What was your thoughts on that?
Power move.
I mean, you can't always do.
I hope for most people in existence,
you're never moving to a place
with your family for 10 and a half months
and leaving again.
Just talk to the second lieutenant
who's like, you know,
and we'll be in your shoes going forward.
is like moving into a furnished place.
Oh, it's the best.
Yeah.
Yeah, it's great.
I mean, like, when you walk in and you just go to bed.
I mean, the only way I know how to explain it is like an Airbnb.
Yeah.
Now, with kids and a wife, it's different because, like, certain toys and blankets and, like, you know this, father of three.
there's certain like elements that make it feel like home.
But in terms of, oh, 100% the move,
the only piece of furniture we brought from California to Rhode Island
was the rocking chair for the new baby.
Gotcha.
And besides that, no furniture.
So every box was records.
What do we bring?
What do we bring that wasn't like clothes and toys and kid stuff?
the record player
the stereo
the speakers
cat stuff to include the
auto litter box
and
I think that's it
I think in the rocking chair
everything else is like toys and clothes
I was on the fence about the record
player
my wife Diana
best wife I've ever
had was
very pro bring their
record player and i'll tell you what man so like there's there's there's there's the thing i think that
women this is a sidebar but i'm sorry three we just not allow it there's they're loud just
like certain blankets or toys come or like stuffed animals there's like you like watch it as
the dad and you're like oh i'm actually glad we brought that because like it's like comforting and there was
nothing that felt that way for me until I dropped away the Jennings vinyl 180 grams on the
turntable last night. And I was like, oh, now I feel home. Like now I feel home. Yeah.
So, yeah. Yeah, man, I was just thinking, like as a second lieutenant, if I think I could do it
again and I was moving across the country, I'd probably go. I'd look for a furnish place.
So that's the hard part
If I'm speaking to the second lieutenant
I'm sure we have so many listening to this podcast
I don't know
So for me because there's an end date
And it's like hey you're here
Almost a year but not a year
It makes a lot of sense
Okay
But if it was a three year move
And I may get deployed
I don't know
Then again with the deployment clause
In terms of getting out of leases and stuff
Yeah, no, furnishes way out.
I mean, the pod showed up.
We were here a week before the pod showed up, more than a week.
We were here like 10 days.
The pod comes.
I'm like, what the heck do I need a pod for?
Like, I've already been living.
And it's like, oh, man, I'm so glad I brought these shirts that are going to go into a closet
and I'm never going to wear them for the next year and then haul them back to California.
It's part of the fun.
Part of the fun.
Yeah, without that, you wouldn't get the full experience.
That's right.
That's right.
All right.
All right.
Should we start the show?
Yeah, that starts.
Yeah, I think we should get the show.
Yeah, it's started.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Let's see.
Speaking of, so, with the furnished place,
is it a gas grill came up to place, it sounds like?
Because I know you would not.
Yeah.
You would not opt for a gas grill of your own accord.
on on furnished talk i also rented my place furnished
which is a thing to think about so my my tenant
has a cast iron grill that runs off charcoal uh yeah gas grills do you guys own grass
grills no i never have no i love that response tray it was like i mean one i love yours
jeff that's i've never have and i love tray's disgust like it was almost like whoop gigamax no i've
bro and a gas grill.
Yeah, I'm not a fan.
And I've used it about five times.
So it's summer in New England.
It's nice out.
That's not going to stay the same forever.
So I've used it.
And I've cooked a lot of good meals,
cooked some chicken thighs,
I've cooked some steaks.
But man, I just,
not only do I hate a gas grill
for, I don't know,
political reasons,
just for reasons.
seasons but but dude there's then there's like that catch so I'm cooking these chicken thighs
this is what made me put it in the show notes cooking these chicken dies and everything's going
great I'm outside my daughter's throwing her red ball around rosen to Waylon Jennings
everything's great my wife's inside the window I can see her clean inditions kitchen six
doing her thing everything's great and then all of a sudden I had the grill clothes I just see like
man there's like a lot of smoke like why is there so much smoke
and the chicken drippings had gone down into the like catch pan from the last tenant from who
knows how long ago.
Right.
And all that old goodness had got going.
Goodness.
And this flame started.
And I had to move it all.
I'm just, I'm not, I'm not a gas grill guy.
I'm not a Trigger guy either.
I understand the convenience.
But I don't know.
I'm a traditionalist.
If it doesn't take you 30 minutes to heat up the coals, it's not like if you're,
if you're grilling once a year, then I can understand you getting gas grill.
I was going to go the other way.
If you're going to go once a year, I was going to say maybe I understand charcoal.
No, to me, it's like charcoal.
Well, I guess charcoal, but like, I don't know.
Like, I think we have the same one.
I have the green egg.
Yeah, I have a version of it.
Yeah.
Yours is, yours is.
This is a porcelain mines cast iron.
Yeah.
Like you said, but even with charcoal, like you said, it takes like half an hour to heat up.
But I feel like there's an art.
People enjoy who grill a lot, enjoy the process, right?
Yes.
It's a whole routine.
Yeah, okay.
I see what you're saying that like charcoal, you just throw it on.
But like if you don't ever grill and you're trying to start it up with charcoal, you're like, you're probably going to mess it up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
That's why I would just do it guess.
Chuck Field.
See that we turned the map.
We just red-celled that.
We just turned the map around.
As the white cell watching blue and red,
I appreciate how you guys turn the map around and then turn it back.
Charcoal always wins.
Always wins.
Every time we've war game this, charcoal wins.
But I do like how you guys tried to find a place for gas.
Is this what they're teaching you on your...
This is exactly.
There's a lot about grids.
Lieutenant Colonel Selects just turn it maps 180 degrees.
Turn in grills, 180 degrees.
Look at it now.
Just turn the grill around.
It doesn't work as much as when it's like one of those circular like rubber grills.
But you know, yeah, it's a process.
China basically is nothing but circular rubber grills.
They're just everything's a 360 circle.
Yeah.
You're basically getting a masters right now.
You're getting a mat like a.
I'm not talking to Tri.
talking to the listener. If you're listening to this, by the time June 27 comes around, you'll have a
master's in war fighting. You can we still get a turn of maps 180 degrees. Dude, sometimes it's
that simple. Just turn the map around. Oh. Yeah. Oh, there Pamall looks different from this side.
Oh, my gosh. You're welcome. You're welcome. Okay. Good grill talk. Good grill talk.
Oh, man.
Oh, man. Let's see.
SEC, I want to talk
Cher Trey's
SEC Media Day
insights. I'm out of the loop.
I'm kind of out of the loop, too.
Shane Beamer talked yesterday.
I did see Shane Beamer
mainly because he talked about
former podcast guest,
Stephen Garcia,
battling stage four
cancer.
What? Media days is in Tampa.
Yeah, he's got, he's got,
But colon cancer, stage four.
Oh, man.
You look in the internet of hashtag quarterback, your health.
He's kind of made a whole movement of men, basically, our age.
Like, hey, if something feels wrong, go get checked out.
He had cancer for about, I think they said, at least three years,
potentially up to seven years before they caught it.
So he's fighting that thing.
And so Beamer talked about him and I saw it on Garcia's story.
Garcia is a big fan of the Strength Co.
So he's in our thoughts and prayers.
But yeah, no, I saw Beamer on that.
And outside of that, I have only seen the inside of cardboard boxes.
So tell me, there's no, there are no media days like Steve Spurger media days.
True.
Agreed.
Yeah.
I would put, so, Len Kiff and tomorrow, that's, I'm, I'm curious to see what you have to say.
I'm excited about the Ole Miss media asking a question.
I just, I think it's going to be good.
Because he hasn't done any, he hasn't done like zero interviews.
Been off the radar.
For a while he was like at yoga classes, posting photos with chicks,
and then he stopped in there.
I think L.C. told him to stop doing that.
But yeah.
I don't know, man.
The only reason I like media days, one, it's kind of like,
I'm like, oh, football season's starting.
Because then like you're on the media days.
And then like you kind of get a feel,
you start getting juiced up and then fall camp kicks off,
like a week or two later or a couple weeks later.
and then, dude, you're basically there.
So it's, I don't know.
That's kind of like nothing.
It's all coach talk.
Like you don't learn anything, but it's, I kind of enjoy.
It sounds like the okay podcast.
Basically, man.
Yeah.
I don't know.
I'm excited.
There's a bunch of new coaches, man.
I'm excited to, I got it.
I don't think Alex, Alex Scholar, just talked to yet, but I'm curious to hear what he says.
That the Russian guy?
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Russian guy.
Auburn?
Yeah.
Yeah, the Auburn, Russian.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Who's been slacking on that?
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Dr.
Get out.
Get out.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn?
Auburn.
Auburn?
Auburn?
Auburn?
Auburn?
Auburn.
But, um, let me see.
Yeah.
Anybody else talk?
Really?
.
Yeah, really, man.
Nothing.
Missouri talked today.
They had, you know, that running back, they're running back.
He got shot. He got shot. Yeah.
So. Shot shot.
Shot shot. He was at a concert. I think he got shot at the concert.
But you expect to make a full recovery.
Yeah, I think so. But expect to make a full recovery.
And he's going to be playing soon. So that was really cool to hear.
I'm trying to think anybody else.
I think I saw somebody, man.
Headline, was it?
Sanky, where the chair of the SEC is or wherever is type?
list is taking other like oh you know we may
and I feel like other company
had the whole breakaway conference
and this whole stuff doesn't it's like dude
what
they're only saying that
you know it's posturing
it's all it since whatever that bill
is that they're trying to pass which won't
pass that he's like oh
if we don't like it we'll just break away I'm like no you
won't like just do what
yeah so
I don't know yeah it should be good man
it's more one since
I've been driving all week.
Gives me something to listen to,
but too,
it's kind of like,
oh,
football season's here.
So,
Chris here's the highway.
I think you're just
happy the World Cup's over.
You can admit it.
100%.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Who's saying what?
Who's saying?
Who's saying?
Oh.
Get your eyes back.
Stare at it.
Stare at it.
But,
yeah,
no.
Lane Kiff and tomorrow,
that should be entertaining.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Good.
I'm just to go ahead and assume,
assume that we're not ready
to pick our college football bubble
teams yet. So we're going to
kick that can down the road. I'm sure
we'll be doing next week. Yeah, I know. I'm also
but
Brand needs to do some research. I mean, obviously we know
the Citadel is going to win the FCS. Right. Right. That's
a given. That is a gift. Yeah. It's a game. Cox will win the SEC.
Right. Outside of that, I got to do a little research.
Fair of all. These Midwest teams, you know, apparently all
roads run through Toledo.
Yeah, I'm going to somehow get the mudhands into my bubble.
Yeah, so I think they're going to start up a college football team this year.
You know what I want to do this year, though, is, and I'll set it up, is in the Slack channel.
Army Nehany.
No.
You're real active on Slack.
No, you bring it up.
Hey, man, I feel like I am.
I feel like I do a pretty good job.
Per capita, yeah.
Per capita, he does a great job.
Compared to my other social media, dude, I'm.
crazy active on Slack.
Okay.
All right.
Let's do the college pickum this year.
Oh,
set it up.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I'll set it up.
We'll see you once again.
It's a lot of fun.
So instead of me just doing the picks of the week.
That way,
yeah, listeners,
you can go head to head against Trey's picks of the week.
Trey's Picks of the Week.
That's it.
It's coming soon.
Ready for that and come back.
Yeah.
And then I listen to you all and just do the opposite of whatever you all say.
It kind of worked you out last year.
It did.
Not bad, man.
Yeah.
But we need to, like, actually, we need to have, like, another.
There needs to be one in there that is literally just, like, the opposite of what, whatever, you know, we pick on here.
Oh, yeah.
Because, you know, like, throw a smoke screen out.
Yeah, we don't want to.
Just literally does the opposite.
We just see.
We don't want it.
We just see.
I appreciate this tactical reference.
I like the tie-in for.
Appreciate what you.
Oh, smokes.
There's nothing further over the group.
Well, I mean, honestly, you know, I think if we, you know, if someone picked exactly the opposite of whatever our picks are on here, that's like, that's like turning the map around.
You know what I'm saying?
But no, man, I'm excited.
We also know, we'll do a college football show here pretty soon.
I talked to our boy old Donnie B.
And he said he wants to go on and talk ball with us.
I love it.
That needs to be a tradition.
Oh, dude, I agree.
That's a good way to pick it off.
We'll get Donnie be on here.
We'll do a college football show,
college football heavy, and then we'll
go from there, man. It's coming soon.
We'll still do a 40-minute
staff brief. Right. And then
like a 10-minute college football talk.
And then I'm sure Grant will have moved
again by that time, or your buddy will at least have
moved again, and we'll just talk about that
as well.
Man, love that.
Love it.
Moving.
So, yeah, the bubble.
The bubble will push it.
a push
Bush
Bush
Goodness gracious
A couple of things I wanted to hit on
from my last weekend
Yeah
And then I want to hear about your
Great's Major Jeff Biggie
Oh yeah
This is this is grand actual
Major Jeff Biggie
Jeff Bouget
Buege got to keep the
I don't know what
second battery command second time as a commander had headquarters battery regiment originally and then
had a firing battery nacho battery in 514 technical salt sign a lot of people would say November
battery but commander there for what two years two years two years two years and that is a job that is
for you military types listening, for you young E-4s who think your commander sucks,
it is a stripe on a man's life to carry the guide on.
It is something that sticks with you a long time.
And it is, yeah, it's a lot of work.
And finishing is an interesting time.
And I'm speaking for myself.
I'll give it to Jeff.
But I mean, it's like you're done and there's part of you that's like, I'm so glad to be done.
And there's party that's like, I never want to leave.
The only thing maybe I don't know this, I have a small child.
But the only thing I could think of is maybe like your kid graduating high school.
And you're like, hey, I got them there.
And I'm done.
And then you're like, I wish they were three again.
It happens in the blink of an eye.
but Jeff passed the guide on of November battery.
So one, congratulations.
And I mean that sincerely,
I think the listeners would say the same thing.
It probably will in the comments this week.
But yeah, how did that feel?
Like handing the stick off.
Yeah, I mean, I think, yeah, you talked about it's like,
hit the nail on the head.
It's like, all right, good.
Like, you don't got to worry about the,
here's a five Ws on this guy.
arrested or you know look this guy's going to the hospital because he sprained his ankle at p and you
got to deal with that stuff which you mean you know it comes the territory but like gonna miss a lot
it's a great group um at nacho battery i got very lucky that it was a lot of really good folks a lot of
folks that knew a lot more about canon stuff than i did because stepping into the role i was like i
don't remember anything about canons it had touched it's in sports sill pull string goes boom yeah yeah
There's a couple more things, a couple more steps in there, it turns out, you know, but we learned along the way.
So it was a continual learning process for sure.
But yeah, I think we've talked about, it's like you have no idea.
Like the whole time you're like, is anyone listening to anything I'm like saying when I like try to like motivate the battery or like,
there's anything resonating with people?
I don't even know if this is what I'm doing is making sense to people and you're kind of just like flying.
blind a little bit.
Yeah.
Then, like, getting some feedback there at the end, you know, from people.
And you're just like, oh, okay, cool.
I guess some of it was, uh, was landing with people.
I guess I'm kind of like, hey, cool.
Would have been nice if you told me that like along the way.
Like at the end, everyone's like, sir, you were the best.
Yeah.
When you discipline me this time, it was great.
It's like, well, it's not how it felt when, uh, you stormed out of my office.
but yeah yeah it's a it's a funny thing because like you know it's i don't at least for me you know
i don't i didn't want to be that commander that was like hey yeah yeah how am i doing am i doing
am i doing okay like is this you like you're just like so uh but it's good to hear at the end
but had a nice little uh send off with some folks there in steel beach uh so it was a good time
couldn't miss could have missed the battery but hopefully come back the battalion get a cross
pass with a lot of those folks again yeah but this time you know i'll be a i'll be a i'll be
a school trained major and i won't have time for those lowly battery swine 10 000
presence i'll be up there just thinking about operations just turning maps oh my gosh yeah good luck if you're
a map if you see me coming good luck's necks are so thick they're just holding up their own brain
all the time but yeah it was a good time and then it was uh the battalion's changing command as well so
you know, PCS season, as they say, on the active duty side.
It's a lot of turnover.
So that was, that sounds good.
Do you fly out to the West Coast to do this, I assume?
Did, yes, yes. And that goes, there was a whirlwind of travel because I took for granted
how easy it was to travel out of Salt Lake City where you live like 15 minutes from the airport.
Here, there is an airport in Montgomery. It's not very big. The flights were not conducive for me
flying out after our like orientation our orientation ended on Friday we had like a
little ceremony where we dressed up in our for the Marines our service alphas or
our pickle suit as it's known affectionately and so I had to then scoot up to
Birmingham which is about an hour and a half away traffic was great got
the airport Birmingham airport's actually pretty easy I'll say that but
then flew into Dallas and then connected to
John Wayne
So got in, I don't know, probably like
11 or 12 p.m.
To the hotel, woke up, did the battery
change of command, went to
the battalion change of command, and then it was kind of
on my own program after that, and then
the next morning
caught a flight out of there.
Then in DFW, right, just, you know, always
flight delays. It's classic.
Classic thing.
We've got to see some good sights.
So I was like walking towards the gate
the first time.
coming the other direction
is this guy
clearly in handcuffs
like with two
police officers
like walking them
and this guy
probably yelling or
needed a strain
although he looked so
unhappy
he was
I look like he was
a little bit
intoxicated so I don't know
if he ruffled
some feathers
is what I would imagine
but saw that guy
he yelled
and then
yeah
that's funny
and then
I got treated to
a man running
to catch a flight, I assume.
He was
he had a backpack on.
That was, I don't know what was in it,
but it was literally,
it could not have been swaying back and forth anymore,
like almost like hitting people.
He had one of those like airplane neck pillows attached to it.
So that's also like flying everywhere.
He's got his roller bag.
He is like, okay, both straps on.
His roller bag, though, is like kind of losing control.
He literally has money falling out of his pocket.
that I was like, hey, sir, you drop $2.
He turns around. He's the most stressed
person I've ever seen in that life.
Sprinting back,
like, his backpack hits a child.
Like, turns around
and goes sprinting off the other direction.
Wait, did it?
There's a story in that it was Jack White.
It was Jack White, and he opened up his
backpack, and it was just full of
one-of-the-kind records.
Oh, dude. Yeah. I knew it.
I knew there was a tie-in.
Yeah, always a tie.
You know what I like to do?
one of where I see that is like stop them like hey real quick stop stop and then they stop you're like
hey how you do it and then they get super upset do you know where the bathroom is I really there's a lot of
things I want to teach my children but the biggest one I want to teach them is not to like stop
in the middle of busy areas and I'm just pictures just the best that's the biggest lesson you want
to teach them to you that number one lesson
Don't stop in busy areas.
I mean, honestly, it's kind of a big lesson.
If you don't stop in busy areas, the rest of your life's going to work out.
Actually, like, that is.
Some people say, treat others, how you want to be treated.
Not in the brink.
Go the horn louder than your neighbor.
That's what I've always said.
Deny, deny, deny, make counter accusations.
That's right.
That's right.
Tell everyone, we're from the south.
And don't stop in busy areas.
is. I thought you were going to say in Texas.
Oh, Texas. It is. Yeah.
Oh, man.
What else is on there?
Let's see.
Purninent to the listeners,
okay, especially PJ
if you're listening, I imagine
you are doing some editing.
If you notice it's fair life is out of
stock in
the near future or currently,
they had like some sort of hack,
some Chinese like hacked or something like that.
So just a production of Fair Life.
of fair life milk.
So just the cows got hacked.
So yeah,
the cows got hacked,
you know,
they're,
yeah,
they're not producing chocolate milk.
Yeah,
that's what I think called.
So stock upon your fair life,
if you see it in stores,
because it may run into a little shortage of your,
potentially,
potential.
I got a little bit.
And hopefully tomorrow,
I get behind the camera.
My light came in today.
If you watched this last week on YouTube,
you're not an idiot because you watch it on YouTube.
But if I'm not as dark, it's because I got my light here.
I got my stuff here.
And so I plan to make a video tomorrow on this topic.
But I'll cover it here just in case, just in case I don't give it to the video.
But the importance of building a base of strength.
And I really cannot be understated.
And I have said this for a very long time.
As long as I've been coaching barbells,
almost 15 years now.
But I thought that taking time, and when I say time, I mean potentially a year to get your
squat, your bench, your press, and your deadlift up is very important.
And I've always taught that.
I've always said that.
I'm all kidding aside, I've thought that is important.
If you get your big lifts up, you can do whatever you want in life.
But now I'm an end user.
I'm almost like a guy pulling out money from his Bitcoin, from his raw.
off 401k and I get to redeem some of all of the hard work.
So for, you know, basically since 2010, I've been squatting, benching, pressing, and
deadlifting as heavy as I can trying to get as strong as they possibly can.
And now I find myself in a place where my wife is eight months pregnant.
My daughter is closing it on two.
We just moved across the country.
I have a job in the military and school that demands all my attention.
And the gym is just not a priority for me.
It's not a really a thing that I desire, if I'm honest.
It's not a thing that used to be my past time.
I now view as a requirement.
I've always said you need to eat.
You need to sleep.
You need to lift weights for survival.
And I still believe that to be true.
And so for the first time, probably in my life,
I am in where, hey, I'm lifting weights for survival.
I'm lifting weights to not be a scumbag.
I am lifting weights to continue to raise my family and be able to unpack my house
and carry a bunch of boxes up the stairs.
You know, I'm trying to preserve my strength.
But I say I'll have to say, if you have put in the work, if you have taken time, maybe a year,
and I think it has to be 12 months.
It probably needs to be longer.
It probably needs to be two years.
But at a minimum 12 months where you prioritize your strength and you say, I am going to lift weights three times a week, hell or high water, no matter what's going on in my life, and I'm going to get strong, there will come a time where you can reap those dividends.
And so building your base of strength is super important.
And if you've never done that, you should do it.
And if you're 40 and you're listening to this right now and you already have,
maybe you're in the same situation as me.
You got two kids, life's busy, got a wife, a bunch of stuff going on.
And you're like, Grant, you're crazy.
Well, I'm sorry.
I wish you had found this before.
I do.
I wish you had found strength training in an intelligent manner prior.
so you could reap the benefits now.
But it's just like investing or buying Bitcoin or anything else.
Like, hey, I wish I had done it yesterday.
The best day to plant a tree was 10 years ago.
The second best day is today.
So you need to spend 12 months getting strong.
And right now, the way I have been reaping those dividends.
I mean, I have been lifting.
I have not missed a day since I have moved.
I haven't, I didn't miss a day during the move.
I've done three days a week.
but when you're strong, you're able to go in and apply a lot of stress in a very short amount of time because you're strong.
Today I went in and I deadlifted 4005 pounds, which is not strong by strong man, you know, records, whatever, who cares.
But it's enough stress to keep things going.
I did it for two sets of five.
And then I pressed 185 for three sets of five and then it did 20 pull-ups.
And then I learned the gym.
And yeah.
And that has been kind of my thing.
I go and I do two lifts.
I do them moderately heavy.
I'm not running a program right now.
I'm not trying to go up.
My main focus is my wife who will have a child very soon,
my daughter and my occupation.
And I'm very grateful that I have taken the time over the last decade.
And it doesn't take a decade, right?
I think it takes probably 12 months for you to get strong enough to make a difference to where
you can go in and put in 30 minutes of work and have a good outcome and keep your base.
And I'm looking forward to the time when I have more time to run a program, get stronger,
try to PRLF, but that's not right now.
Right now my needs are my wife and my child.
And so if you are in that boat and you haven't,
if you have built your base, air quotes,
well, good on you.
Just go in there and stop worrying about what you used to do.
Yeah, Grant, you used to do a 505.
Now you're doing 4005.
Stop worrying about that and just like go do something moderately heavy
and get some work done.
And if you haven't built your base, well, it's like money,
investing anything else I'm sorry but you need to do it now and it may not be a convenient
time for you now it may be that you got a bunch of kids and a wife and a bunch of stuff
going on but if you if you never it'll be better now than if it is later my parents are
both lifters my mother started lifting at 60 my dad at 63 they're now 70 and 67 and if you
ask them about it. My mom's a 245 pound deadlifter. My dad can squat 315. They're very thankful for
their strength. They never miss any days. But if you were to ask them about it, they would say,
I wish I started it 10 years before. So go in there and do it. Starting strength is the best
program to do hands down, hands down for the beginner. If you've never done it, just do it. If you
already own a home gym and you think you know what you're doing and you're following programs.
If you've never run three by five squat, press, bench, one by five deadlift, add five pounds
each time for like three to four months. And then you go into more intermediate stuff.
We have videos on that. If you've never done that, that's what you need to go do with your time.
And I promise you, I think for the first time in my life, I've reap benefits in terms of selling plates.
If you're a guy that sells coaching and plates, you've got to be strong, you got to be able to do stuff.
I've reap benefits in that and in e-commerce and business I have reap benefits.
But in personal life, I think for the first time I'm really understanding like, oh, this is why you do all this.
because when life gets super busy and your wife and your kid and your job become more important
than your hobby, if you are strong, you can go into the gym with a very minimal amount of time
and you can have great success. So build your base.
All said. I like that. That was good.
That was good. I also like now.
I also feel like your New England accent's kicking in a little bit.
Oh, it's bad.
I heard a couple of little.
It wasn't too bad, though.
I'm not trying to hit a Pia.
I'm actually trying to turn it off.
It's bad.
It's bad around town.
It's bad.
I just wish that like D or just like a body cam, like a, like a cop body cam.
Or whenever grants interacting with a local, it just turns.
on.
Let me tell you what I'm doing.
Where are you from?
You look to you around the neighborhood.
Where are you from?
Oh, we're from Worcester.
At Worc'sa.
I've thrown that out so many times.
What I say, I don't lie,
is I say, my family's all from Worcester.
I had to grow up in South Carolina.
And they're like, oh, Worcester.
Yeah, you got the Woosox.
Yeah, the Woosox.
Yeah.
Never mentioned Texas trade.
Keep that completely out of the conversation.
Why would I wish?
Yeah.
Odessa.
Odessa.
What are you doing?
What are you going to work on?
Odessa.
Man, I drove through,
was it,
eastern New Mexico yesterday?
Oof.
God, that place is rough.
Not a lot there.
No,
I'm going on there.
Hats chilies?
Dude, I didn't make it
far enough to
that's like central.
Yeah.
That's further west.
That's more like central
New Mexico.
I've always said this.
or not safe. If you got time, go to El Paso.
Yeah, El Paso's great.
Southeast New Mexico, great.
North New Mexico, fantastic.
That middle part, pretty rough.
Yeah.
Basically, Texas, it sucks.
It's basically West Texas, yeah.
Yeah.
That's the best Texas.
Not for scenery.
From the...
Yeah, you know what I mean.
Yeah, I know what I mean.
people.
And Star Major, do you have
leave left?
So who's asking?
My wife.
So Diana,
I'll tell you this story. Then I'll let
the Cajun Sergeant Major just go on a kick.
My wife says to me,
who I think
doesn't listen to the OK podcast.
Says,
hey, so the Cajun Sergeant
Major is really great.
out of the blue, right?
Out of the blue. And I go, really?
And she goes, no, it's like a perfect fit for Trey
because, like, you can tell he hates the staff brief.
And now he has a role.
And I was like, no, he doesn't have staff brief.
I was like, she's like, she's like, no, it's like,
she's like, and he's so good at it.
And I was like, wait, good at what?
She's like, being the Cajun Sergeant Reed.
And I was like,
like, okay, what colors
the Cajas Tart major? She goes,
I never thought of it as a color. He's just Cajun.
And I said, yeah, okay.
And she goes, he's just really good at it.
And it was like a really, probably the deepest
conversation we've had since we've been married.
And so.
Wait, what color do you think that Cajun Sert Major is?
Yeah.
I think he's white.
Yeah. Yeah. He's first, yeah.
I mean, it's just a strange if he was born and lazy.
now I don't know about you instead of.
If he was the spur
on West Texas.
That's right.
Anyway,
that's how I'm a wild question.
Apparently she listens.
Diana does not listen to the
She does not.
She's not listening.
Yeah, it's bad.
She's not listening to it.
Dude, by the end of the year, it's going to be wild.
I can't wait for the first time she drops an R.
Oh, you're going to love it.
what's diana doing i'm just watching the socks she's just watch the socks socks are losing right
now last i checked what's what i need is right let me give you an update you heard it here live
three days later they're down five to one seven seven's just ended i mean i actually am glad
i'm going on saturday i'm gonna take the cop there with a wife in the kid in pocket
not kidding but no no I am going to the game on Saturday and I listen as New England
fan you don't like streaks you like consistency 18 and no ruin me
sounds pretty consistent ruin me no no but I didn't want to go to Finway
riding a streak what if you lose then you feel guilty there's some truth to that
wasn't the Bruins on a heater Bruins were on a heater New England
England Patriots against the Giants.
They lost in the first round. Yeah.
Yes. I'm not a street guy.
I'm four to five's enough.
Didn't lose a game and then win four to five more.
I'm not kidding.
Particularly in baseball and hockey.
Great.
It's going to be the next coach of the socks.
He's like, all right, guys, let's go out and lose this game.
We're winning.
This is too many.
This is too many guys.
Go ahead.
I'm going to benching.
You can beat Ted Williams' record.
Who do you think you are?
Yeah.
Ted Williams and American hero.
Yeah.
I do wonder if like,
if they end up losing this game,
you go to the next game,
if it's going to be significantly,
I want to say cheaper tickets,
emptier.
There's going to be less people there.
I bought tickets from the MWR.
First time I've been able to use like marine resources and they mattered.
No.
I'm like,
I got Patriots tickets against the Jets.
I got like, yeah.
no, it's great.
That's good stuff.
What was I going to tell you guys?
Hey, you guys.
Oh, do we have any more
saved rounds or hung ordinance?
Trey,
have you ever driven on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge?
Oh, now you're speaking my language.
We didn't even talk about the drive.
Is that the one where you can tell the Earth's flat or not?
in that bay oh yeah oh i didn't put that together yeah that's where you can tell is that's where you can
tell is that the same one yeah yeah yeah yeah and then there's a bridge there that also that verifies
that the earth is first flat yeah oh have you ever driven on this bridge i have not no okay okay
you apparently jeff i do not think i have not think i have it you would know exactly that's what i was
get at Triggs. If you don't recall it, then yeah, you have it.
Oh. Just let this. Let it ride.
Let it ride.
He's so cow.
13 hours.
Ah.
That was actually a pretty true.
13 hours.
What's that?
I like that.
I like that.
I was awesome.
Yeah, that was good.
I flew to North Carolina
to pick up my 97 Chevy
truck talk, truck talk listeners.
This is truck talk.
Truck talk.
We're from the South.
Trey.
Texas.
Texas.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Flew North Carolina,
drove my 97 Chevy up
in one day.
6 a.m.
flight,
quite the adventure.
Lots to talk about.
Jeff, I'm glad you brought it up because I almost forgot about it.
I could go on and on. But one, the 97 Chevy with 242 on the dash, 243 now, made it no problem.
Two, the Chesapeake Bay Bridge.
If we got listeners in wherever that is, Maryland, I guess it was.
Sounds right.
Dude, I was not ready for that bridge.
I got oversized tires.
There's a lot of play in the steering.
wheel. I'm on the phone
talking to a customer
and it's like there's
two bridges
on each side
and there's
like green check marks
and red X's
kind of similar
to a toll booth
and so I actually
thought I was going through a toll booth
and all of a sudden I realize
I'm on the Chesapeake Bay Bridge
going north
on a bridge where there's only one lane going south now
and it's on the same bridge as me.
Dude, it's 3.2 miles long.
It is, if you're driving a 97 Chevy,
never doubted her,
but I was like, if I break down,
I actually don't know what happens.
Like it's a catastrophe.
Yeah, quite the bridge.
I mean, what a,
sometimes I thought this at the Hoover Dam
I felt this at Mount Rushmore
we don't do stuff like that anymore
like we do not
we put cameras in the locker rooms
and American ingenuity went downhill
started with cameras in the locker rooms
but I'm telling you it was my hands were sweating
I was like
I got a drive I got a drive
yeah
Eight second ride, eight minute ride.
Ooh, you took home that belt buckle.
Man, I'd be, you should do your PFT on that bridge next year.
I mean, it's three miles.
Yeah. It would be something.
It's flat.
It's all downhill.
It's not flat.
That thing's tall, brother.
There was a time where we must have been bringing in big ships in the Chesapeake Bay.
Ben and Fitzgerald probably came through there.
I don't know if that works.
I know we're trying to wrap up, but I'll be curious.
I'm right.
ordinance still i got i got some hung ordinance right yeah yeah so jeff just made a long drive
grant just made a long drive i am perpetually making long drive you're always driving are you listening
i'm always driving what do you listen to why are you a podcast guy are you a music guy
you just sit in silence jeff you're first um this this drive was predominantly podcasts um
Um, sprinkled in a little bit of music, right?
Throw a little Churchill Simpson in there from time of time.
Um, but I was doing a lot of episodes of it's, uh, podcast.
Yeah, the okay podcast, obviously, but, you know, I listened to the whole catalog.
And then when I got through all those episodes, I was listening to, uh, it's, so Shane Gillis,
the comedian has podcasts called Matt and Shane's super secret podcasts.
I mean, his buddy, Matt McCuster.
Around here, we just call him Gillis.
Right.
Yeah.
Oh, you know, this is pretty good.
You know, it's hilarious.
I mean, it's like, obviously not as good as the okay podcast, but like, you know, it's just them usually kind of just rambling about different topics.
And they, their dynamic is very good together.
So it's true.
Exactly.
I mean, I draw so many parallels to between our podcast and their podcast.
But Matt and Chase.
It's actually the same.
It actually is our podcast.
We just turned the map around.
If you listen to Matt and Shate's super secret podcast backwards,
it's an episode of OK podcast.
Yeah.
I listen to a bunch of episodes.
I'm a psychopath, Tray.
You sit in silence?
Just white knuckles it.
But so I made a huge mistake.
So I,
Floodcast Crunchry, got the family here.
I'm like, babe, I got to go get the truck.
We can't just like eat up money in this rental car.
and so I buy a ticket the night before.
I fly to Raleigh.
I texted Barclay West, Barclay West.
We got to get him on the podcast.
He runs a dumpster company.
He runs a dumpster company like you run a hose company.
So in my mind, he owns the dumpster company.
That's trash.
We have to have Mon.
Well, I assume you own the hose company was my point.
But yeah, we have to have Mon.
He's a big listener.
I went to the Citadel with him.
a couple years ahead of me.
We worked in concrete a little bit, right, when I graduated college.
Story for another day, if you want to hear that, drop a comment or whatever.
But anyway, I pick up my truck and I call him.
I told him, I said, I'm probably not going to see you,
but I can't come to Raleigh and you find out about it.
And then you'll be mad about it.
And he said, I'm dropping my kid off for school.
I said, where are you?
Dude, he was four minutes away.
So I go to the parking lot.
We talk for 10 minutes, link up.
Great guy, better at dumpsters.
And then I start the drive.
When I landed in Raleigh, I realized that I forgot my headphones.
I'm a wired headphones guy.
I've given up on charging headphones.
I never charge them.
I can't find them.
They fall on my ears.
I lose them.
So I'm a wired headphones guy.
I'm the $20 Apple wired headphones guy.
I forgot my headphones.
So I land in Raleigh,
and I buy the headphones.
And they were $30.
So it should have been $20 or $30.
Me, Barclay, I go to Sheets.
I get 20 gallons of gas at $4 a gallon.
Thanks, Obama.
And I ran in Israel.
And I get a coffee.
And I'm like, all right, at 650 miles, time to roll.
I'm going to catch up on some phone calls.
And I'm 10 miles down the road.
And I opened the headphones.
And I bought the freaking lightning port.
and I'm a USBC guy.
And I'm like, you got to be kidding me.
So my entire drive from North Carolina to Rhode Island was either speaker phones calls,
which was Jeff can attest to this because I had a phone call with Jeff.
Well, Trey, I had a phone call with you too.
And you didn't know anything about it.
It talks to Jeff.
And Jeff was hooked up to Bluetooth to Jeff.
And I was like, Jeff, turn off your Bluetooth.
the other Jeff is his car.
I was like, turn off your Bluetooth
and just let your phone do the work.
And it was way better.
I had pretty good phone calls,
which means I had one hand.
But dude, if I wasn't,
I think I listened to Wayland Jennings
Diamonds, maybe three times
and long white lines, Sturgle
Simpsons, maybe two times.
Great songs. But a lot of
silence in New York
was tough for me.
i'm definitely every three hours every three hours you were just popping on a song uh it was a lot
of silence brother it was it was it was it was a lot of just
marilyn's corin fields yeah yeah man i started to uh what i start list oh i well i mentioned to you
since like the season one's in providence but crime town yeah yeah i know i know crime town
I never listen to season two, so I'm in the middle of season two right now.
Yeah. It takes place in Troy.
Super good podcast.
He has a list to it.
Detroit?
Detroit Season two, yeah.
Yeah, I'll roll two.
Oh, I get it.
Yeah.
I'm guessing Jack White's somehow involved.
Yeah, I think he's narrating it.
Yeah, someone stole a couch cushion.
And so he's got a...
That's the crime, yeah.
So they put Jack White on the case.
But, dude, the other one I really like, if I'm on a super...
long drive is you ever listen to hardcore history i have i have not not good but yeah yeah it's good
i think that's it dude because well those one one episode's like eight hours long yeah i am
mostly in right now if if the listeners want to pray for me i really want to go fly fishing here
there's so much fly fishing jeff really
there's like
is it really up there
oh dude
there's probably lots of nice little streams
and stuff like that too
like so so there's
there's brook trout
there's rainbow trout
in like a bunch of small
creeks and streams
but then there's also
stripers if you want to go to the beach
and
I don't think fly fishing is in
my future right now
with a baby like four weeks out
but it's all I think about
don't tell my wife
who apparently listens the podcast.
You had a birthday about a month out
so maybe you can do it for a birthday gift.
Yeah, five days before birth.
That's what my wife wants me to have no signal.
Yeah, just get out there.
Do something for yourself.
Go fly fishing for 12 hours
and have no signal.
That'll be great.
Yeah.
I got nothing going on.
I'll just be here.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I got to give a little shout out to
the massonomics guys live hard live easy four uh congrats tanner and Tommy great work
those things are hard to pull off looks super cool yeah um it really did look super cool you guys

here that I'm excited to meet up with and lift.
I just want to fish guys.
I just going to tell you, you guys want to lift.
I want to fish.
But good job to the Massachusetts guys than that.
Like it's super cool.
A lot of Stranko plates being used.
This podcast is powered by the Strength Co.
Yeah, it just looked like a great time.
I'm two for four, batting 500 on Lift Hard Live Easies.
I'm proud of that.
500 batting average is tough to do against tall grass but I feel like 2027 is the year of the
okay podcast at the Littar Live Easy 5 um to you know Jeff Tray marker calendar I need to go to one
uh it's cool yeah I remember I really looks like a lot of it's cool yeah and I think it gets better
every time like I that's what it looks like they yeah good on them maybe I just looks like they
yeah good on maybe I just know more people now but that looked like a lot of fun I didn't I'm not a
FOMO guy I don't fear of missing out you dread it but I'm a phone go guy where I feel like I missed out
what is that a flomo guy feel like I missed out I'm a Flemo guy I feel like I missed out I'm a Flemo guy

No, homo.
Major.
Right.
Oh, okay.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.
Auburn.

Auburn.
I don't have any more hung ordinance unless you guys do.
Trade you have hung ordinance.
No, I do approve of this hung ordinance over a save rounds.
Oh, yeah.
different. Oh, he's a J-Tag.
I do have
I do have hung ordinance.
Okay, let's fly over
gaze pass and let that land.
This will mostly be, okay.
It seems to be at a certain
level of the Air Force. You no longer
call them slides in
like a presentation
called charts.
Next chart.
That's like,
all right.
Okay, that's different.
I don't know why it needed to be
updated, but yeah, next
chart. That was a
I don't know if that's an Air Forceism.
If that's a once you hit Colonel or you're
a general officer, they
brainwash you and now you say charts
and you forget about slides.
But yeah, yeah, let's say
a little tool for your toolbox
there, major.
Major.
The dumbest thing.
That's kind of what I think, too.
I'm like,
are you idiots?
So arbitrary.
Why are you changing it?
Jeff and I are going to come out of this so much smarter.
You're thinking like a company grade right now.
Okay.
Yeah, Trey, company grain, mine, you wouldn't understand Saul or Mazz.
Yeah.
Turned math around.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Yeah.
I wanted to put that on people's radar.
So Jim here is N-O-F-F-S.
Okay.
And I don't know what it stands for.
But all I think in my mind is no for F's sake.
Right.
Every time I see the acronym,
and there's like parts of the gym with like the NOFFS zone.
And I'm just like, oh, okay, all right.
I don't know.
Sorry, sidebar.
Side bar.
Okay, okay.
Hold on.
Let me do a quick check on the rails.
Okay.
looks all the ordnance has been cleared off the rails.
Oh, no more hung.
There's no more hung ordinance.
Okay, good.
We dropped them off a gaze pass.
Oh, honestly, this new terminology does then lead into Trey take us in for a landing quite nicely.
Ooh, nice.
Aviation beat.
I just want to say before it takes in for a landing, I am not a J-Tac.
I will land us, though.
Let's see.
This episode, 119.
Auburn? 119.

Other sponsor, Mr. Helmut.
As you can see,
Grant is holding up a beautiful football helmet.
Who made that?
Mr. Helmut did.
Oh, my gosh.
Grid on Green.
He's got big helmets.
He's got small helmets.
As we discussed tonight,
the visor is historically,
was it since the inception of America,
we've had visors.
So get a helmet with the visor.
I guess if you have to.
Natural.
Got you for life.
Y'all just distracting me, guys.
Come on.
Hey, let's be professional.
Keep these sidebars to a middle.
Carry up.
Mr. Helmut, use that link below.
Get yourself a helmet.
Football season is right around the corner.
Get a helmet before we start talking football so you were prepared.
Let me see why you're down there looking at the links.
You'll see a link for the Slack channel.
Use code.
Okay, yourself a little discount, $10 discount.
What are you doing on that Slack channel?
We talk lifting.
Talk life, talk love.
Love, chow, which we need to discuss next week.
Oh, Chow Radar.
We'll hit it.
We'll hit a hard next week.
I'm too worried.
Yeah, we do talk, child, talk coffee.
I don't know.
We talk a little bit of everything on there.
But if you are getting into lifting, a serious lifter,
maybe you've fallen off lifting when to get back into it,
there are some coaches on there that are fantastic and can answer any questions you've got about programming,
form, whatever.
maybe we got it on there.
And there's Grandpa that can help you plan your lifts.
So great tool, use code okay.
Great community.
Love to have you on there.
Let me see.
If you're not watching on YouTube, as Grant mentioned a couple times,
you were an idiot.
Go ahead and watch on YouTube.
Most importantly go to www.
Theokepodcast.com.

anything.
Coach, did I miss anything?
Yeah, I'm getting there.
Outside of that, we are powered by the Strength
Co. As always, Coach,
do I miss anything?
Oh, Mark's on.
Oh, hold.
Hornish Angel loves me.
Outro.
Don't.
Did that get your head.
Go on.
Are you running?
One.
Two.
One.
For the listeners,
we have a chat as you might imagine
we have a chat on Slack
we also have a text chat
and
my buddy moved across the country
and so everyone said
what time's the podcast
and I just replied
are we rolling
to when Jeff liked
and then
Drake said
so what time we're podcasting
and I said
go ahead one of you
want to.
When Jeff liked again, and then about an hour
later, Jeff goes, so what time
were we podcasting?
And I really wanted to just reply,
come in when you want to.
I feel like you did.
I think I did.
I did.
We'll see you next time.
