And by way of Mitt Romney land, and in allegiance to Joseph Smith, our resident Mormon, Spock Fingers Jeff, coming to you from Salt Lake, the greater Salt Lake city area,
Starting point is 00:01:07 which it's Salt Lake city. They just call it the city. Uh, the price of Bitcoin. I don't want yen. Why is it showing me in yen? Oh, you've been hacked. Can he can eat you while Bitcoin, uh, I'm trying to inside the Wes wire, $103,726, which means you're rich. If you bought this podcast started, uh, 71 weeks ago, we got lots of talk about trays back. Uh, we'd never missed an episode. Don't ever think that we did miss an episode. We were just crossing, uh, international date lines and such. Uh, but we're back here now. So,
Starting point is 00:01:43 uh, with that three, take it away. And then we'll go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one.
Starting point is 00:01:52 So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one.
Starting point is 00:02:00 So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. So we're going to go to the next one. and those types out there. Yeah. Good old fashion date gap. Yep. Man, that's a niche reference that so many of our listeners are just gonna love and get. Even some of our junior listeners won't get it
Starting point is 00:02:11 because they're not sergeants yet. But sir, just write him an unobserved for the time that you didn't even know this human was alive and just fix the date gap. What? Why would I do that? Because you were an officer at the time. So just write the day gap. But why would I do that? Because you were an officer at the time. So just writing, sir.
Starting point is 00:02:29 Can't can't we just leave it like what? I'm going to have I'm going to have got let's start writing all my date gaps that come to my desk. I'll do all your unobserved. Rob, you just you just click the box unobserved. Yeah, you just click unobserved and then it's the best. It's the best. It is fit rep season. It's fit rep season.
Starting point is 00:02:51 That's my favorite. Not my favorite season. So great. Yeah. All right. Where are you going to fit on the Christmas tree card? Oh, goodness gracious. The Christmas tree, not to be confused with the Christmas tree card.
Starting point is 00:03:04 Oh, no,. The Christmas tree, not to be confused with the Christmas tree card. Oh no, do not confuse it. I actually use sad ulu when I write fit reps though. He's a sad ulu sergeant. So he goes to the bottom of my Christmas tree. Sorry, these references are crazy. Let's snap back in here. We digress. Side bars to minimum.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Side bars to minimum. Minimum. Yeah, okay. They're going to happen, but let's snap back in here. We digress. Sidebars, minimum. Sidebars to minimum. Yeah, okay, they're gonna happen, but let's make them to a minimum. S1, Chop, what do we got? Admin stuff? Any hit lists? S1, go ahead.
Starting point is 00:03:40 S1, go ahead. Oh, sorry, sir. I was just playing Fortnite on my phone. Oh, excellent. Nothing has changed since last week. The numbers are still wrong, but we're trying to fix it. Oh, OK. OK.
Starting point is 00:03:55 Wow, wow. Glad a week went by and we still can't fix numbers. OK, that's great. Sir, I've been off since last week. We had Mother's Day 96, followed by the Father's Day 96, which is for only eligible to Marines who are fathers that mothers celebrated the 96. So I haven't worked in a week.
Starting point is 00:04:17 OK, tracking. Tracking. Yes, sir. Glad that. Was there? Yeah. OK. I fakingly remember I'm our admin coming out. OK, very well. was there. Yeah. Okay. I faked we remember our admin coming out.
Starting point is 00:04:25 Okay. Very well. Two shop Intel. Sir, nothing, nothing new to report. Excellent. Love that. Really? I see we've been bombing the hell out of them Huthies.
Starting point is 00:04:36 You ain't got nothing on that. No, no sir. Limiters down. So I'm gonna have to get any actual Intel going. All right. I'll just keep checking PDs, PDs, techs, rec going to get in the actual Intel going. All right. I'll just keep checking the PDs, PDs, text rec records to get real scoop. Okay. Well, very well. Go ahead. Download signal.
Starting point is 00:04:53 You'll get all the Intel sent to you directly there in lands corporate. It's excellent. Operation side. Hey, I feel like we lost track of our focus here. Last go around trash trash. Trash is the main effort, always will be the main effort, continues to be the main effort. And we kind of came up with this our core ethos. We really drilled down to it. Right. We got down to brass tacks, went soup to nuts, all that stuff. Every listener is a podcaster and every podcaster is a listener. I mean, I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing.
Starting point is 00:05:25 I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing.
Starting point is 00:05:33 I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing.
Starting point is 00:05:41 I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. I think that's the biggest thing. podcaster. You know, we expect everyone to be ready to podcast at a moment's notice anywhere in the world. And sometimes listening is the mission, right? Like you just listening, you may think you're not doing much, but you are the mission. And it's about the mission, the men and me. So it's right. That's right. Yeah, leaders eat last, for sure. Worst book of all time.
Starting point is 00:06:03 Leaders eat last for sure worst book of all time leaders should each marine's Leaders should show people that you're supposed to eat food when it's hot as the chef intended for you to eat it They should never in a manner in a chain manner There should be three hours to get through hot chat. Don't know why leaders eat last. Makes no sense to me. I hate that book. I've always hated that book. I do not think you're a good leader because you forgot to eat chow.
Starting point is 00:06:34 If anything, I think you're a worse one. All right. What book is this? Harry Potter? Yes. Leaders eat last. Oh, Goblet of Fire. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:06:44 That's it. Yeah. yeah, yeah, yeah. Is that what it's like to talk to your grand? They eat your child out of a Goblet of Fire. Oh man. Outstanding. So anyway, trash, secure it, got it. Okay, alright. Logistics.
Starting point is 00:07:04 That's you, Trey. Oh, is that me? OK. I didn't know what role I had this week. It's about it over different billets trying to I'm always confused with which one he's got a lot of time in on. Yeah, I know. As far as the four shop goes, not nothing new to report. Yeah, I'm sorry.
Starting point is 00:07:24 I'm not. We've tried to play catch up. So it's nothing really too new. I'll get back to you. Tracking, tracking. Yeah. Email defilade, tracking, tracking. Yeah. Sidebar later. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:07:34 Yeah. Tracking. You can have those. Just keep them to a minimum, please. So that'll bring us dental. A. OK. Like to see the after action from the dental rodeo that we had. We'd like to take, you know, successes and failures and lessons learned.
Starting point is 00:07:59 Capture those in a 10 to 12 page AAR so we can send that up to So we can send that up to, uh, uh, make PP, make will or whoever it is that collects those AARs and then, and post them up on the internet that no one ever reads. But, you know, we got Marines dedicated to that. So we want to make sure we, yes, we said something there. That's the MO we've actually already started on the AR, but we want to make sure to publish it after everyone that was here for this dental rodeo is gone. Um,
Starting point is 00:08:24 that way with the new people will be able to get in touch with us and, We've actually already started on the AR, but we wanna make sure to publish it after everyone that was here for this dinner rodeo is gone. That way with the new people will be here and they won't know that we did the AR. So we have it scheduled to publish 120 days from now. Yes, sir. Track it, track it. All right, excellent. Like a tank.
Starting point is 00:08:39 Yes, just like every other AR, everyone will be gone. There'll be no context from anything and it'll actually never be right. Okay, moving on, Six Shop. Communication side, how we doing? Hey, this is Trash Six. I always hate these meetings, even though I sit in them. So this meeting's over.
Starting point is 00:08:57 This meeting's over, I hate it. I wanna be a part of the change. This meeting's over, Six Shop, you suck. Secure the trash, Trash Six out. All right, moving on. All right. Trey's been wanting that to happen his whole life. Love that, love that.
Starting point is 00:09:13 My calms went down. I heard Grant say my name and then everything cut out and then I just, comes back goes, leaders eat last. And I was like, I miss the Marko's. Yeah. I was like, I miss some is the market. So yeah, I was talking, I was talking with Caleb and Kayla was like, I'm like, hey, you still listen to the podcast. Like, yeah, he's like, you'll seem to took a bit of a detour on what the original game plan was. I'm like, yeah, I'm like, what are you talking about?
Starting point is 00:09:42 He's like, it's that joke that you always do that last about 20 minutes every episode now. That was always part of the plan. That's what we got to. We brought you. Yeah. Hey, Caleb, enjoy. Enjoy the joke. Yeah, just laugh, Caleb.
Starting point is 00:10:01 Dr. Gotledge. Yeah. There's got to be some sort of doctor equivalent he, uh, is he all done with schools? Is he out there in the wild now? He is. I think he's has one more. So he wraps up, I think in sometime in June, like, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more,
Starting point is 00:10:18 I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit more, I think he's going to be a little bit is, I think he's asked one more. So he wraps up, I think in sometime in June, like mid June, I think he's done with call. So he's not doing call anymore.
Starting point is 00:10:36 He has his boards coming up and then he goes in a, does his first. Yeah. I think do wise when he checks in reports. Okay. Yeah. I think do wise when he checks in reports. Okay. Yeah. Yeah. Black folder in his left hand with the Marine Corps emblem on it. You know, just like put on some glasses that make him look like he's on a different planet. They give them a checklist that seems very important,
Starting point is 00:11:03 but then like no one cares about it. Right, and also it doesn't tell you where anyone is because it just has building numbers. Yeah, yeah, building numbers. Where there's room numbers inside of those buildings which are even less helpful. Yeah, and it's all people you don't know, and so yeah. Most of them have checked out, yeah.
Starting point is 00:11:20 So anyway, so he checks into his hospital, and they're like, I mean, can you imagine if that's how it was in the real world? Like, Hey, Dr. Gotledge, go find the sexual assault preventing coordinator. Uh, okay. Who's that? Not sure. I think it's a staff sergeant. It's a collateral duty, probably over in the comp shop. I, and off you go. And in a place that you have no idea where you are. It's crazy. I love it. It's great. Semper Fi. All right. Big Caleb doing the Lord's work.
Starting point is 00:11:48 Yeah. You excited man. Get out of Lubbock. You had some travel you just finished? Yeah, man. So we went to go see my grandmother. So I actually was in Midland Odessa for a little bit. Hey, see? See? You're not taking me. That's where I flew out of there this afternoon.
Starting point is 00:12:06 So, yeah, I went to go visit 94 year old grandma. Just had her birthday Mother's Day. Introduce her to all the babies. Oh, love that. Guess she got to see her on Fort Stockton, Texas. Fort Stockton. Nice. So if you think you're West, just go a little bit further west and that's a little further
Starting point is 00:12:26 than that. Yeah. I like that. So it's good to do that. Got to hang out with her. It was a good time. Pecos County. Pecos.
Starting point is 00:12:35 Pecos. Oh, excuse me. In Texas, we just say Pecos. Yeah, we just say Pecos. We just say Pecos. Fort Stockton. Pecos. Ooh, infantry,
Starting point is 00:12:45 infantry company from their H company. Oh, they came in, in April 12th, 1859, you know, when Texas was already Texas, I'm sure. And yeah, the Fort was named Robert F Stockton. Nice. Paisano Pete, the road runner. Yeah, you could actually go further west. Not much.
Starting point is 00:13:09 Yeah, a good bit actually. Like the whole little you're like at, you know, like this, the right edge that comes down from the top hat on Texas. You're like in line with that. So you have that whole like pie. Nice. It is where that's like bigger than a lot of states that you guys just call that little corner over there. They're not much further. You can go about three hours
Starting point is 00:13:34 further. That's a goodness. Yeah. I've driven across Texas. It's terrible. It never ends. Fort Stockton's were 20. No, that's 20 and 10. It's kind of around there where they meet up. But. Yeah, Texas geography. Exciting town, man. Yeah. Went to B&V Neato's Mexican food restaurant today. Okay, sure.
Starting point is 00:13:56 It's a good job. The church. Yeah, it was a good time. B&E Veneto's, sounds like an Italian living down there. B&E Veneto's sounds like an Italian living down there. Benny Veneto. Um, I'm disappointed that I thought you spoke Spanish. Well, I being reading it back, like you read it to me being the Nito's. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:14:16 Benny, Benny, Veneto's. He's an Italian from New York. He moved down here. He came down here, opened up this nice restaurant. You know, he up this nice restaurant. You know, he thinks this place used to be Mexico. It's crazy. I told him baby Crockett found it.
Starting point is 00:14:36 Let's see if we have a lot to talk about. But I will say, flying, being a pack meal with baby stuff, flying. Oh, you flew. That's right. You said you flew. a pack meal with baby stuff, flying. Oh, you flew. That's right, you said you flew. Dude, I'm like, yeah. So you flew with three girls. Yeah, that'd be a long ride.
Starting point is 00:14:50 That is crazy. That's a long drive. That must've been so much stuff you had to bring. It was, I'll send you a picture, we can post it, of Abby was pack mealin' for me. So I was pushing the kids, because done like pushing the wagon and then I had Abby pack me one, Karen all the stuff and we put my PJ put it up there.
Starting point is 00:15:14 But, um, yeah, PJ. Yeah. PJ. Wow. That is all the stuff for three kids. I actually expected more. It's a Yeah, we packed light. Luckily. We had some stuff we had an advanced party Bring some stuff out there for us. So We didn't have to bring the full full kit
Starting point is 00:15:38 That is lost. Wait, did you really who went out there your mom? I Think there's a ton of great grandkids no there's what happens when you live to 94 so things are pre-staged it's kind it's very similar to like when the Marines go to Okinawa there's always there's stuff out there already and you just fall over falling on it I signed for it yeah nice a dehumidifier. Cool. And then if you like look around, yeah, there's a lot of stuff in like rooms and you're like, yeah, the armory is full of diapers and wipes. Yeah. Yeah. Aiming circles. I get it. Yeah. So very similar. It's good to go. But no, man, good trip. It was a good trip. God, we got to see her.
Starting point is 00:16:20 Nice. Today's episode is brought to you by BW tax BW tax, a great guy, better at taxes. You can go visit him at BW tax LLC.com BW tax father of three, uh, some twin boys, uh, future hockey players. As we all know, one of them is underrated. I won't say which one and a nice little daughter BW tax is a guy just like you and me. So that's why he should do your taxes. That's what we've always said. We'll never stop saying it. Um, reach out to BW tax LLC.com. No PW. All right. Short, short list of topics. Yeah. And we might, I'll go back and comb through the last list.
Starting point is 00:17:04 There might've been some safe rounds. Uh, alibis. I get it. You know, you know, Grant, the I'm guessing you mean the movie warfare, the new one that just came out. Yeah. I bought it. I haven't seen it yet. I've watched it. But I watched it. Okay. I'm curious. You guys just takes in, um, I don't want to spoil it, but it's well done. That's it. It's well done. I'm no movie. I'm no rotten tomato, but I'm going to guess that I'm going to guess that there's a like auditory award that's gonna be won because like a lot of the cinema in my language this is no yeah it's like like you'll be watching it and
Starting point is 00:17:53 part of it it's like you're it's like you're inside the person's body right so you're feeling them like breathe and stuff like the way you hear the sounds like outside or like as if it's you. And then like there's times where like, you just got like flash banged. And it's like the way you hear things is different. And there's times like where like you're the tank, you know, most like it kind of Yeah, that was I don't know if anyone else picked up on that. But I was like, Ooh, that sounding is changing a lot. So I thought that was pretty
Starting point is 00:18:22 yeah, pretty interesting. It's a very short amount of time that they cover, which I think is the point. You know, it's like one firefight, one Kazi vac. Obviously, some things go wrong. So it ends up being two Kazi backs. But it's not like, yeah, it's not like I don't know, like the outpost, right? It's like covering like a six month period. Yeah. They're in the mountains. This is like a significant event or a single event that occurred and like, you know, how it goes. Um, yeah, it's, it's, they're seals,
Starting point is 00:19:01 uh, with, uh, J I think they're seals, right? Jeff, there were an army. Yeah. There's, there's seals, uh, with, uh, J I think there's seals, right? Jeff, there were an army. Yeah, there's, there is a Marine J tech and he makes it very clear that he's obviously his name is Jeff. Obviously you gotta make them, you gotta let people know if they don't know, how are they going to know, you know, my name is Jeff. Yeah, it is. It is Navy SEALs. Experienced as a Navy SEAL. Yeah, it's not a true story. No, it is.
Starting point is 00:19:34 It's a Navy SEAL platoon Alpha one. Yep. No, it's true. True one. JTAC communications officer. Oh, yeah, brother. Anglico. Oh, yeah, brother. Oh, so that part's cool. Yeah. And it is cool too. Cause like there, I say they're on army uniforms. Like I can't keep up with the army and the Navy's uniforms. Like to me, the Navy should
Starting point is 00:19:55 be wearing blue Marpat or khakis. And if it's anything else, like, I don't know what it is. So these guys were wearing like what we would call back in the day, BDUs, like the salt and pepper camo. And then the Marine of course was in desert marpets and had a mustache. And it had a mustache. So clearly he sucked. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Worst character in the movie. Hopefully he gets one through the running lights right away. And his mustache falls off. Someone say that recently through the running lights. I hadn't heard that one like, well, what are we going to do if so and so takes one through the running lights? And it's like, what?
Starting point is 00:20:30 Like, oh, oh, I don't know if that's just that's me, man. I hope he gets an uninsured fit report. Yeah. Yeah. I hope he ends up with a date. I hope he gets a date. Gap even worse. I won he gets a date. Yeah, a date. Yeah, even worse. I'm going to get one through the right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:20:48 Well, a swift death would be kinder than a date. Yeah, take him through the running lights. My goodness. Man, so is it in theaters? It's not in your theater out there because those are down for those are broken. They fell off contracts. Yeah, I did. I think it was a short lived in theater because it's already on streaming. Gotcha. Yeah. So now in 35 minutes long, it's a good watch. Um, I'd interesting to see what you guys think about it. Um, it was good. Uh, but it's not by any means like a must see in my opinion. Um, yeah, I got, I got a little it's not by any means like a must see in my opinion. Um,
Starting point is 00:21:28 yeah, like, uh, uh, yeah, but you know, it's very dramatic, right? It's a lot of like gauze getting stuffed into wounds. Um, I don't mean dramatic in a, in a sense, non-sensitive way, but I just mean it's like, it's like meant to be like super heavy. I think, I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:49 I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that.
Starting point is 00:21:57 I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to be able to do that. I'm not going to I can't believe the Marine Corps got rid of tanks. Dude, I mean, that's pretty sweet.
Starting point is 00:22:06 There you go. And a freaking tank rolls up in this. Or you're just like, you're just getting shacked. And then like the, the gate of a tank drops down and you get in and that thing seals tight. You're just like, Oh my God. Yeah. Still getting shot at, but it's still getting shot. It's just ting, ting, ting, ting, ting off the side of the tank.
Starting point is 00:22:24 They got nothing big enough to get through this. That chain gun that's on the Bradleys just starts ripping. And you're just like, ah, praise God. All I think better is when you have a JTAC and Ayer shows up for a show of force. Yeah, just to show off force. We just gotta have a show. Just to show off force.
Starting point is 00:22:40 You gotta show them. They did make the show of forces look pretty forceful. Uh, cause they needed help and like didn't want to call in stuff on their own position. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I was like, I wish I could see it in a movie theater where like, you know, the, the primo sound. Yeah, I wore my air pod Max's and a nice, you know, it's sponsor a potential sponsor, Apple. They won't stop it. You told him, Hey, we got, we're full. Yeah, full on sponsors. Do you make helmets? They're like, no, we don't make helmets. We're like, no, don't make any helmets.
Starting point is 00:23:25 Sorry. I think I see that. I saw, what did I see recently? Oh, the amateur. I heard that's good. Not to be confused with the accountant. The accountant too came out recently. That's on BW Tax.
Starting point is 00:23:38 It's about him and his life as a broadcaster. It's about him just doing taxes for the listeners of the OK Podcast. He's just doing taxes. the listeners of the OK. I guess taxes the accountant. Speed up. Well, let's go with the amateur. Uh, Remy Malik, which is granted, who that was, I'd be very surprised. Is that a female? No, you said her name is Rini Rini Rini.
Starting point is 00:24:05 So you have I know you've seen something. OK, talk me on. Talk me on. Have you seen the the Queen movie? No. Oh, I was going to go to the Pacific. Pacific, yes, of course. I'm a Marine. He's the Louisiana Giants. Yeah. Yeah. Who's that kind of like who's kind of weird and you don't like he doesn't like Eugene.
Starting point is 00:24:31 What's his last name? Or yeah, Eugene Sledge at first. And then we come by his name. He's like the weird dude. He's like, yeah, what is his character's name? Yeah. He pulls his teeth out of like the what's his, what's his name and real, the real world. Oh, Remy Malik. R E M I. M I I think.
Starting point is 00:24:53 M Alec. Oh yeah. The weird guy. Yeah. Yeah. He like kind of has a lazy eye and always looks like he's been sleeping for five days. Well, that's just, yeah, personally. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:25:02 Yeah. That's what I mean. Yeah. I don't think that's like his character. I think that's just like, no, that's what that's just him personally. Yeah. That's what I mean. I don't think that's like his character. I think that's just like, no, that's what I mean. Yeah. Oh, Remy boy. Oh, so he's in it and he's like an analyst for the CIA wife dies, goes on a revenge tour and nice people killer.
Starting point is 00:25:23 So they have a BW attacks. Yeah, he's not talented at the, like, combat. So he uses his big old brain to get revenge. Got it. Nice. So he's like- It's like I said, it's one of those you can see once you're like, okay, I saw it.
Starting point is 00:25:39 And then you'll be fine. So he's basically like going inside their battle positions and like, uh, unseparating unseparating their trash just to get in their loop. Like gets behind the wire. Like, Oh, watch this. I'm gonna put the aluminum cans with the plastic bottles. They're going to be talking to you later. We've got their logistical sport.
Starting point is 00:26:01 Pretty I think that's he does that twice. He does that once or twice. He makes it very appealing. Yeah. And have you seen the accountant too? I have. I saw it. How did you watch the first one?
Starting point is 00:26:19 Oh dude, whenever I go out of town by myself, that's my, there's like, I finished all my work and I go to like the must be nice because I go out of town by myself that's mine There's like I finished all my work and I go to like the must be nice cuz I'm out of town by myself and all The theaters are broken That sounds like a Japanese problem. Hey, it sounds like an American problem to me Anyway, all right, did you see the first down? Yeah. And it counts. It was like it was again, it was one of those where you can like see it and you're like, it's a good movie, but it's like it's entertaining.
Starting point is 00:26:55 Man, Trey really is a rotten tomato. Yeah, I liked it more than I thought I would, but I'm not like, oh, I'm going to keep watching that movie for the rest of my life. Like it was it was. Yeah, I'm not like, Oh, I'm going to keep watching that movie for the rest of my life. Like it was, it was, yeah. I'm seeing, but it's the other rating system, Cisco and herb or something. Yep. Cisco. Yeah. Yeah. What's it called? Just don't tell him. Cisco and herb. Give it two thumbs up. What is it? It's a Chris going herb. I'm sorry. You're right. Yeah.
Starting point is 00:27:32 My mistake. My mistake. In a bag of herbs. Actually I think it's Italian. I think it's going to Cisco Cisco. Chrisco and Cisco. Two thumbs up. Yeah. Cisco and Herb. Ebert and Robert?
Starting point is 00:27:50 Ebert and Robert. Is that what it is? Is it Ropert? There's no Cisco. I forgot that they, they replaced Ebert. I mean Herb. Yeah. Is that the guy from Sesame Street?
Starting point is 00:28:06 Ebert? Big Bird? Yeah. Yeah. Bird? Herbert. Bird. Bird.
Starting point is 00:28:14 Bird. And look at the analytics for this time stamp and then it's gonna be zero listeners after this. Bird. Bird. Man, I'm so glad Jeff speaks. Grant's great. It's like a whole language. Next slide.
Starting point is 00:28:32 All right, that wraps up movie and film talk. Thanks to some sports talk. Trey, what's going on with the hockey? Down stars. I am very into hockey. Like I feel like I'm just late to the party. I'm like so good. And Wagon fan.
Starting point is 00:28:56 Yeah, I would say that. Yeah, that's good. I'm glad you're here. Welcome. I'm hopping on it. Like I want to start watching it regular season now. It's great. It's great. It's phenomenal.
Starting point is 00:29:06 And it's so long, the season. So in a good way. Yeah. Wait, like when does it start? So it's going to end in May or like first week of June sometime and what it kicks off up to October. I like graded baseball. Got me right.
Starting point is 00:29:24 It's gotta be runs. Yeah. Yeah. It's got to be right as baseball runs. Yeah. Yeah, it's a long screen. October? Dang. Okay. But, yeah, no, man. I thought it's been awesome.
Starting point is 00:29:35 Been watching, been rooting for the stars. Actually, I just watch, if it's on, I watch it. Just watching. It's good. Seeing the kids this evening watching the Panthers and the. But Maple Leafs. Maple Leafs. Yeah. So hockey fans call them the rats. Oh, the Panthers.
Starting point is 00:29:53 Yeah, they're known as the rats. They throw rats on the ice. Is there like a story behind that? The rats in the stadium. They suck. Yeah, everyone hates the Panthers. Florida's not a hockey state at all. They got two ever. So, neither is Texas.
Starting point is 00:30:08 Yeah, neither is Texas, also not a hockey state. There's the original, do you know about the original eight? Blackhawks. Yup. Bruins. Yup. I'm gonna go with the Canada teams. I'll go with Maple Leaves. Yep. Is it Original Six? Might be Original Six. No, not Devils. It's Original Eight. Yeah,
Starting point is 00:30:36 not Devils. Close though. Kind of close. Think about it. Original Six. who's New York Islanders? Rangers, Rangers, Rangers. That's what I meant. Yeah. You're missing. You're missing. You're missing. You're missing two. One's American.
Starting point is 00:30:55 One's Canadian. So not the I'm thinking of NHL 90. Think of NHL 95 if you ever played. So I'm not going to go with Jets. Who's the other? Think of Jack White and cannot think of Jack White. Oh, yeah. Yep. Can I just want to? Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:31:14 Yeah. Montreal, Canada. I think it Jack White. Think of Jack Wright. You're missing a big American hockey legend. Wayne Gretzky. No, no, he's not a team. That's a person. Who is it? No, no, not that easy.
Starting point is 00:31:33 You know, yeah. If Jack White was going to support us, no, it would be nowhere on that. It would be nowhere on the West Coast. It's what goes right? No, it's not on the coast. It's not on the coast. Well, technically, it's kind of on the coast. I mean, I guess, yeah. Come on.
Starting point is 00:31:52 You got it. Give me the state. Well, we said Jack White a lot of times. I was going to say National Predators, but. Jack White. Think of the other American city that you would be associated White. Think of the other American city you would be associated with. Think of the other city that he likes. Where did the white stripes?
Starting point is 00:32:09 Back when he was putting vinyls inside of him. Detroit? Oh! Yeah. Red Wings? I was going to say, where did the big three kill his baby? Where did they do that? The big three and number three.
Starting point is 00:32:23 The big three of Jack White. This episode. The big three of Jack White. This episode is amazing. So Dallas is up two one. Yeah. They play today. So I was keeping. So the Jets were the best team in the NHL, right? Yes.
Starting point is 00:32:41 Those points. It's like regular season. Best record. Which is usually a curse. Yes. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:33:03 I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like,'re still enjoyable, play it like you just got to get into the playoffs and then it just people just unleash and go crazy. So lines switch. Have you like figured out the different lines like fourth line, like all the different like not that. Okay. Now it's pretty simple. Actually, it's not like soccer where you can try to follow it for years and still have no idea what's going on. Yeah, I find soccer to be quite simple. There's a starting 11 and that's it. That's news to me. But don't worry.
Starting point is 00:33:29 It's the premier league, which is not to be confused with the champions league, but both teams win the world cup. The various leagues. Yeah. Don't confuse. Yeah. Yeah. Just don't confuse them.
Starting point is 00:33:42 All right. Well, I want to see Dallas make it all the way. I hate the Capitals, I hate the Hurricanes. Well, it seems like they always have, the Oilers are kind of like, I think they beat them last year. Yeah, Oilers are good. They were the runner-ups, yep.
Starting point is 00:33:58 Dang. I just want the Jets to lose. It seems like the West has the better teams. And the three weeks that you've been following hockey. Yeah. Yeah. That's good. It's good analysis. Yeah. I agree. I like it. Like this, like the stars, like they had a pretty good record. Yeah. Texas has always been a hockey state. It always has been.
Starting point is 00:34:22 Seems like you're very offended by this. Like just like a non-biased do the West like do they have better teams? Would you say? Right now? Yeah, but no. This year, this year. I don't know. Unfortunately, the Panthers are really good. Yeah, they are good. OK, so it's pretty even. I mean, we'll find out only.
Starting point is 00:34:49 OK. Yeah. You're so offended. It's tight. Wait, did Utah really change their hockey club team? Yeah, they finally, uh, Mammoth's, right? Mammoth. Tusks up.
Starting point is 00:35:02 Tusks. So dumb, dude. I had such a day. Tossed some dumb dude. I had such a day. I say everybody. I go around, go around the city and I'm just like, Toss up and it was all tusks up. Mammoth, let's go. It's it's it's hard to say tusks cups.
Starting point is 00:35:18 Yeah, it's not that you can't like chance it like tusk up. And then there was like some comments that were like, Oh, well, they just stole that from the Colorado professional lacrosse team. And I'm like, no one knows who that team is. Like you could steal whatever you want from them and no one's going to like throw a fix and no one knows they exist. They should have been the professional. Exactly. Exactly.
Starting point is 00:35:43 They should have. They should have been the Utah Mormons. Dude, it's so the Joseph Smiths. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that.
Starting point is 00:36:00 I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be able to do that. I don't know if they're going to be 100% white people. White wearing white shirts, black ties. Yeah. They're team captains. They're teams. What happens? They want to talk to you after the game.
Starting point is 00:36:11 13 captains called an elder. That's the elders would have been a good. Yeah. Where is it? They have a captain. See, he's got the E. Yeah, they should have just been the latter day saints. Oh my gosh. Dang. It would have been so. Yeah. they should have just been the latter day Saints. Oh my gosh.
Starting point is 00:36:25 Dang. Oh, do we know one too. Who that? It's elder in the boys. Yeah, the fight was like. Or the Mammoth I was pretty disappointed with. Yeah, it's not very good. It was like, I think the last four names it came down to
Starting point is 00:36:43 was like hockey club. Just stick with the same name, mammoth outlaws. And then I think Wasatch cause that's like the mountain range. That's right. Smackdown outside the city. Okay. That would've been worse, but yeah, so outlaws would have been all right. But like the, the like mocked up like logo that they had was like very. It seemed like they put no effort into it. So like it didn't stand a chance. I don't think I think they were.
Starting point is 00:37:13 I think you talk. You club just would have been a way to go. Pretty cool. It'd been different. It would have been different. That's for sure. We're the man. Yeah. So. Toss up. Tusk up. Someone sign off every podcast now. Not saying we need to move on to the next topic, but if we did, which I'll, which I'll talk about, uh, lifting wise last time.
Starting point is 00:37:32 Well, we got to follow up on the Celtics Celtics came out smash. Three. They're good. I think Celtics are still going to win the series. I think the next suck. So I'm going to go with the Celtics. I'm going to go with the Celtics. I'm going to go with the Celtics. I'm going to go with the Celtics. I'm going to go with the Celtics. I'm going to go with the Celtics. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:37:47 I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:37:55 I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one.
Starting point is 00:38:03 I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. I think that's a good one. That's, that's good. That's good. That's what the NBA wants. They would. That's what they want. Yeah. That's the average separated trash. Yeah. Last week we talked about how to gain or lose 50 pounds. We can tell that you haven't listened. And we also talked about, I want to say last week, I mean like 36 hours ago. Yeah. What are you doing? You had a flight time group today. I know you had I know you had time to watch a movie.
Starting point is 00:38:32 And we talked 35 minute flight. We talked about the Duffalo bar. Did you talk about the Duffalo bar? Yeah, Duffalo bar. Oh, like the curvy bar. Okay, it's like a curve. I've seen it. Yeah, yeah. I think I've seen it before, but do you have a lifting question, Trey or a topic that you want to get out? Ray, have you been hitting the gym?
Starting point is 00:38:56 I want to ask it old school trays lifting update. Oh, my gosh. Throwback for all those old listeners that are harkening back to the days for the meeting. Back when Utah was just a hockey club and Bitcoin was 40,000. Dang. No, I am in the, so I'm selling my rack, my squat rack and my brother is since he's moving, I'm taking his. Oh, what's he got?
Starting point is 00:39:27 Wait, do you have the OG one from like Dana Point that we sold to each other like three times? No, I have that one. Yeah, Jeff has that one. I have the, as you can put it, the F-150. Yeah, that's right. Yeah, yeah, that's right. Massive.
Starting point is 00:39:44 Wait, so what are you getting? Listen, it's a track is for sale. He only sold payment. Oh, sorry, guys. Yeah. Have is it still in your garage? It's still my garage. Oh, enough for a can refuse a. Tell them you heard about it on the OK podcast.
Starting point is 00:40:01 Yeah. Yeah. I'm actually off. I'm actually selling to a buddy of mine. He's making his home gym. Ah, does he buy strength? Oh, plate, does he listen to the OK podcast? Does he know that the place is slim, but rugged, smooth, yet easy to grip and electric could look great in his gym.
Starting point is 00:40:19 So I am dumping my. Plates I don't like non strength-Strength Co. plates. Non-Strength Co. plates. Not the Strength Co. ones I would, okay, okay. Yeah. So you're dumping them into the ocean because you don't want someone to have those and then not have a necessity to buy Strength Co. plates.
Starting point is 00:40:36 Yeah, because those people, they'll think they're lifting, you know, 135, 225, but it could be seven pounds. It'll be off by three pounds. Yeah. It'll be off. And therefore it won't count. None of their PRs will count. Yeah. They won't gain any strength. They'll get to heaven. They'll get to heaven and God will be like, you're not as strong as you thought you were. Here's, here's a bunch of coal.
Starting point is 00:40:59 If you can deadlift that bar with three 15 on it of strength, and then doesn't even budge. Yeah. Sorry, Trey. You're off. Yeah, so offloading that in the storing slash going to be using my brother's equipment that he's letting me borrow. What kind of racks he got? It's a company that we shall not name. Oh, what what variant is it? I the only thing I know it's a smaller footprint. So it's not an F 150. It's more. It's more like a Toyota Tacoma. Yeah. Yeah, Toyota Tacoma. Yeah, but it's a I don't mean it's I
Starting point is 00:41:42 think it's a it's an upgrade. So it's gonna be nice Is it two by threes or three by threes? Go on the post the uprights like the face that hold where or they square or rectangle square Okay Is it a cage like four place or is it okay? Yeah, okay. We're getting somewhere Does it have safety pins? It has safety pins. Okay, is it a pin and pipe system, meaning there's like a pin and a pipe that encases it? It's the bars that you can kind of move.
Starting point is 00:42:13 Oh, they like flip out and come down. That's it, that's it. Oh, okay, all right, yeah. In the- Is it any closer? In the spacing of the holes, does it change once you get down into like the area like tighter in the area of like where you'll have them set for a bend?
Starting point is 00:42:30 Does it have West side spacing? It's a here. No picture. Do we see a picture of it? It's a tube. Oh, this is can you guess that squat rack box by the okay box? It's not a cage. I was mistaken. Does it have two pull up bars or one? Two. How is it not a cage then? Does it mount to the wall? Oh, it has like the double stacked pull up bar. Oh, so like you chicken wing
Starting point is 00:42:59 it on the course. Yeah. Chicken. Yep. Yeah. So you can practice your chicken wings. I sent you a picture of it so you can you can see it. Ah tracking. It's that thing tracking like a tank. It has spotter arms. It does not have safeties. Those are spotter arms. Oh, so it's basically it's the tall one that's been passed back and forth. Yep. Except taller. Yeah. Yeah. So I guess here's a good question. Then pros and cons to this tile versus a cage. Let's say you're, let's say, Hey, I'm going to buy a new squat rack. Money is no option. Money's no option. Oh, money's no option. I don't know any squat rack, but you don't know anything. Um. I think this kind is fine. I would, if I was going to buy a squat rack, I would buy a cage though.
Starting point is 00:43:51 I'll buy a cage and I'll buy two by three uprights. And I'll buy two by three uprights that are oriented forward. So the problem with the three by three, not a problem, but one of the things I don't like is that extra inch in width takes away from an extra inch where this barbell sleeve meets the J-cup. So you have to be like more precise when walking in and out of the rack. And I know that sounds kind of crazy, but it's really not,
Starting point is 00:44:16 especially if you're like a bigger dude, maybe you have tight shoulders. Like if you don't step directly back when you come out of the rack, like the edge of the plates or the collars will like hit the uprights. So I don't step directly back when you come out of the rack, like the edge of the plates or the collars will like hit the uprights. So I don't like that. I like to have two more inches when unwrapping the bar.
Starting point is 00:44:32 I like the cage for multiple reasons. One, if you buy like a sleek cage, it really, if you're gonna have spotter arms, it does, you're not really saving space, right? So like what you have is nice. It has that U platform. The bottom, the base of the squat rack makes a U. For that thing, you not have to take extra plates and weigh it down so it doesn't move when you come in and out.
Starting point is 00:45:00 That footprint has to be pretty big in order for it to be like stable. And so if that footprint is gonna be that big already, then I would just prefer a cage to squat inside. You don't ever have to worry about like tipping if like you have a really heavy load in the very front of the spotter arms. And you also can do a little bit more stuff like you can squat on the inside. And maybe if you have two barbells
Starting point is 00:45:24 cause you bought the strength co-sumper five bar that released some Memorial Day, you can have can squat on the inside. And maybe if you have two barbells, cause you bought the Strengthco Semper Fi bar that released on Memorial Day. You can have that thing on the outside and you can be like warming up your press or your wife can be lifting. So I think it's a little bit more versatility. And the price isn't that much different either. I mean, it is probably more expensive.
Starting point is 00:45:38 Like you're going to get a standalone. It's going to be like, you know, 400 bucks, 300 bucks, depending what brand you do. But then you have to buy the spotter arms, which are like 200 bucks, now you're at like $500, and you're gonna buy the extra one with the pull-up bar, which you did, or you know, you obviously got secondhand, but you're probably at like 579, 600 bucks.
Starting point is 00:45:55 Shipping's gonna be relatively the same, and at that point, I'm like, I would just buy a four-post cage, and it's gonna be like $100 more, gives you a little bit more versatility, same footprint, more stable. So then the prototype that not getting a cage would be smaller footprint, is that about it?
Starting point is 00:46:12 Yeah, maybe, like the one that you have, like that base is like, it is a smaller footprint, right? So like maybe you're gonna park your car with that thing. And so since there's no front posts, like you can put like the base of that rack that's coming forward, you could like drive the car up and it could be in between the tires and you put the headlights like right up against the back
Starting point is 00:46:36 spot if you're really tight on space. But generally what I have seen is when people set up their home gyms, they don't park their car in that spot. They're not folding the rack up against the wall. Once they set it up, it's there and it's living. So yeah, the pro would be like a slightly smaller footprint, but I just don't think it's that much smaller to where it's worth it, where it outweighs, where the pros are
Starting point is 00:47:00 beneficial enough to justify not having a four poster, but that's just my opinion. No, that makes sense. Yeah, but if you're getting it for free from your brother, like- It's on loan. Yeah. Yeah, it's on loan. So whenever he gets done with his world tour of medicine, then it goes back to him,
Starting point is 00:47:20 and then I will end up getting probably some sort of cages. Yeah. The okay podcast rack. It's okay. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. It's okay. It's okay. Yeah. I built in speakers into it and just constantly play. It starts at episode one and then just play the entire library and then it's got wifi in it. So it automatically downloads the new episodes in the it automatically plays the full episode. It only plays like the first 20 minutes of each episode. Oh, I thought you were going to say it skips that part. The only not automatically. So we won't sell any of them. That's what you're.
Starting point is 00:47:57 Okay. Got it. Exactly. Yeah. It's going to be a hot topic. Can't wait to retire off that squat rack money. So how much did you sell your iPhone 54? It's still in negotiation right now. It's for, I told him, man, that we'll do it for a Coke and a smile, but we'll, we'll figure it out. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 00:48:22 So it's one of, it's one of the kind of a good, a good dual, good dude. So, Oh, so you're basically going to be like, look, dude, you come pick up the rack, that's worth it to me. And I want you to save your money to buy strength coat plates and support the FDO downrange. That's it. That's it. I love it. I love it.
Starting point is 00:48:40 So you've always done. Hey man, support the brand baby. Yeah. I love it. It's what you've always done. Hey man, support the brand baby. So yeah, so down the road whenever I get a cage, we'll talk about brands and kind of want to look at. Episode 142. Yeah. That actually kind of segues nicely into one of the topics I put in there. Talking about lifting equipment. So, uh, and it's like, it used to be a pickleball court. So we lifted a climbing gym. They had like an indoor pickleball court.
Starting point is 00:49:15 It's now summer. Everyone's probably playing pickleball outdoors, fastest growing sport in the country. Just want you to know that fastest growing sports. Yep. More pickleball courts per capita than okay. Podcast listeners. That's actually the, that's the Utah hockey team's new name,
Starting point is 00:49:36 the pickle balls, pickle balls. Amazing. Yeah. All right. So you lifted a rock climbing gym that had pickle ball courts. Everyone went outside cause it's Utah summer. And so we were like walking in, and they also have really nice bathrooms over there. So we're going over there. And we're like, oh, there's no more pickleball courts. They added in a whole other gym area.
Starting point is 00:49:57 And it's all brand new. Clint and I were like, OK, this is nice. We'll check it out. And at first look, it's like, OK, nice. They stopped using the assault air bikes that just like break all the time. And they got a different brands bikes that are actually like really well,
Starting point is 00:50:12 like overbuilt and nice. And then we're like looking at some of the equipment and like the squat racks are all really short. Like they all have pull-up bars, but they're all like, you have to be five, two or below to actually like hang from the bar and do a pull-up bars, but they're all like, you have to be five, two or below to actually like hang from the bar and do a pull-up. Which is what rock climbers like to do. Yeah. And then start looking at some other stuff. We noticed, okay, there's four squat racks.
Starting point is 00:50:36 There's four barbells, two or 45 pound bars, two or 35 pound bars. So it's like, well, if we have four people lifting and this doesn't add up. And then they didn't have a nice sled that they could push in that area. And then they had, are you familiar with like Macy's? Anyone that works out with Macy's? Yeah, I am. Yeah. Try to know what that is. Like the hammer? No, the stuff you spray if you're going down an alley at night.
Starting point is 00:51:03 Yeah. Oh, bear mace. Yeah. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, literally no one is going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this.
Starting point is 00:51:33 I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this.
Starting point is 00:51:44 I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy this. I'm like, I'm going to buy at the price. They're like almost $300 a piece. Price of a barbell. I'm like, literally, no one is going to use these. Like who, who is going to use these? Um, just made me really wish that they had like, I just want to go find who buys the equipment for their, let me next time you're thinking about making a purchase, just, just give me a phone call. I'll consult with you for free. Go to thestrength.co. They got some great plates there. Email them support at thestrength.co
Starting point is 00:52:11 to get wholesale pricing, tout your gym. Just some strange equipment choices. And then of course the first time that we're there, like my wife and I are lifting and then like the next two people that walk in, they're like walking over to like get a barbell and they see the Mace things and they're like, Oh, what are these? And they like pick them up and kind of do the those and they're, then they immediately set them back down. Okay. We don't,
Starting point is 00:52:34 no one works out with these. No one works out with these just on Instagram. And I'll have a Mace bomber, but strength though, you should make them next product. Yeah. Yep. Yep. As soon as we finished making our LPD, San Antonio classes, good. Um, I'm not sure if it's a good idea to have a of loading the hit locker that'll go on the ship. So like the four comes over like an actual four tray, not like a already for like a real four. And and he's like, hey, sir, can you put in what you want in the hit locker? I'm like, why are you picking me?
Starting point is 00:53:17 He's like, well, you'll be the senior man. So you have to sign for it. And plus, sir, like, don't you like don't you like to gym stuff? I'm like, well, yeah, don't you do gym stuff? He's like, yeah, but like you do it like for a living. I'm like, sure. So anyway, I got to fill up the box, which was fun because I like skipped things like 55 pound bumpers and 15 pound bumpers and got extra, extra barbells in there. And I got four strength co cast iron plates. I think it'd be cool to like, Oh dude, squat with some plates while crossing the equator or something. Hell yeah.
Starting point is 00:53:48 Yeah. A shell back lift content. Grant. Oh, show back. Show the show. They don't lift. Holy, those dirty nasty,
Starting point is 00:53:58 dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, dirty nasty, Yeah. A shell back lift content. Grant. Oh, show back. Let's show your poly walks.
Starting point is 00:54:06 They don't live. Holly walks don't live. Those dirty, nasty, dirty little poly walks. Yeah. So yeah, that'll be good. Got the hit box. Nice. Yeah. That is crucial to morale on ship like that. Did you just load it with crucial load of like stuff that you wanted?
Starting point is 00:54:28 Yes. And you're like, oh, this is what I want. Yeah, I literally did. Well, I'm like, I've watched you all lift. None of you know what you're doing outside of like three of you. So we're going to load what I want. And there's going to be a dude out there.
Starting point is 00:54:41 He's like, where are all the Mesa's at? Where are the assault ropes? I really wanted to shake some ropes today. I know where you get some maces. Oh no, they're all in Utah. Oh, they're all at the front climbing gym. Yeah. I did include some dumbbells. I put some kettlebells. But then I put medicine balls, but you know, it's like you go to the gym and you're trying to do a workout with folks and it's like, there's a 14, a 12, a 16, an 18, a 20,
Starting point is 00:55:15 and it's like, what difference is two pounds gonna make? So I spread loaded like 10s, 15s, 20s. There's actually a little bit of a difference or something. That's good, that's good. So I filled it out. So we'll see what we got. Really praying that it's not rogue plates. And then we're gonna have an SOP.
Starting point is 00:55:29 If you're deadlifting, you take the two strength co 45s and you face letters in as the first plate. Then you load all your crap. And then on the outside, you take two strength co 45s and you load them outside and that'll be ship SOP. I like it. Yeah. Anyway, that's good stuff. That. I like it. Yeah. Anyway.
Starting point is 00:55:47 That's good stuff. That's what we love about them. Today's podcast is also brought to you by Green Gridiron, Gridiron Green. Mr. Hellman, as is commonly known here on this podcast. Hockey season's here, it's no better time to buy a football helmet than when it's hockey season. So you just take the Dallas Stars,
Starting point is 00:56:02 you throw it on that football helmet, you can wear it. You can put it on your desk. You can give it to your 94 year old grandmother in Odessa and you can do custom helmets and put the names of all the grand kids on there. Like, like a helmet stickers, like the, um, the Ohio state Buckeyes, everyone's America's team. Everyone loves, uh, you can, you can do it just like that and get your helmet. So head over to Mr. Helmet. Actually, don't do that because that's probably a different brand. Click the link in the show notes to the gridiron thing and go over there and buy a helmet. We do sell helmets every week,
Starting point is 00:56:32 so we appreciate you helmet buyers. Keep buying the helmets, keeps us keep the lights on and the lights need to be on for us to record. Dang, love that. I totally love about it. She, grandma is a big football fan, so that's actually a pretty good gift. Is she an Aggie?
Starting point is 00:56:50 She roots for Texas teams. She will, yeah. If you're not watching on YouTube, we're going to horns down. Tusks up. Tusks up. Horns down. Yeah, biguss up, hordes down. Yeah. Big Cowboys fan. It's funny. So she's a huge Cowboys fan.
Starting point is 00:57:10 So whenever she gets, uh, America's team, but if she gets upset with anybody, she just like writes them a letter. As one does as one. So like Jerry Jones, like we'll make a bad trade. And she'll just write them a letter. I love it. As one to sell like Jerry Jones, like we'll make a bad trade and she'll just write him a letter. I love it. I just imagine Jerry Jones just with Vida, getting a letter from Vida. I actually got a letter from Vida yesterday. She was like,
Starting point is 00:57:33 I don't know why you recorded without tray. I don't like this show anymore. Also the staff meeting should be longer at the beginning. Really appreciate the first 20 to 30 minutes of the podcast. Oh man. My buddy was in an hour and 50 minute, one of those the other day. And he was just like, I can't believe this is real. I don't even want to pretend to do it when we were recording the next episode because- You wish it lasted 20 minutes. Yeah. Yeah. You wish. We're the most efficient staff meeting ever. Yeah. It's true. It's true.
Starting point is 00:58:05 I wish more people would just say nothing to report. Yeah. Yeah. It's always the best. It's always the ultimate flex. Nothing for the group. We got any save rounds, Alibis? Do we want to talk about the throwback podcasts?
Starting point is 00:58:22 Talk about cereal? I don't know what we wanted to talk about. Oh. Oh yeah, put that in there. Yeah, cereal. I don't know what we wanted to talk about. Yeah, put that in there. Yeah, cereal. Yeah, not not the not the breakfast food, but not Captain Crunch. We're majors now. So now we eat major mush. So this conversation started.
Starting point is 00:58:37 Grant said something along the lines, like I feel like I'm calling from prison from prison cell. Yeah. And then I go, Hey, you remember that podcast back from like 2015? Is that when it came out? No, before, I think 2014 season one question. Oh wow. There's five, six seasons now. I think high school senior disappeared. Uh, serial podcasts. Uh, I 2015, April 2015. So it's actually the 10th.
Starting point is 00:59:14 It's actually the 10 year anniversary. That's why we're bringing it up. Yeah. That's, that was the first podcast I ever listened to. I feel like, I feel like y'all got me hooked on it. Yeah. You've got Emod on the line. Shhh.
Starting point is 00:59:32 What's his Anon? Anon, Emod, Anon, same, same. This is someone so and so calling from whatever penitentiary. Do you accept the charges? Yeah. That was a good podcast. Think how far podcasts have come in 10 years. Yeah, and now we're doing one. I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like,
Starting point is 00:59:52 I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm prison and I'm trying to get out and you're just checking in on me. Grant wrongly accused of murder. Yeah. Murdering his buddy. That happens. I hate when that happens. I hate when I catch a murder charge. No, man. That's, I feel like, cause in season two, I remember listening, I listened season one, season two to that. Cause season two was, who's the dude in Afghanistan who went AWOL? Oh yeah. Bo Bergdahl.
Starting point is 01:00:29 Yeah. Bo Bergdahl. That's right. I forgot. Yeah. Season two, season two is about that. And I feel like it was definitely not as good as the first one. I think the first one too, was like a whole new way to ingest a story.
Starting point is 01:00:44 You know? I think the first one too was like a whole new way to ingest a story. Yeah. You know, like I think it was like the novelty of a podcast too. Um, that has probably done. Yeah. But no, I mean, I think season one was better. They peaked, they peaked early. We peaked at episode 71. Oh yeah.
Starting point is 01:00:59 We have yet to peak. And we're just like Bitcoin. We just keep going up, baby. We just keep going up. Sometimes we go down, but then we go back up. Yeah, then we go back up. Yeah, we're just exactly like Bitcoin. Yeah, we're very volatile.
Starting point is 01:01:11 Yeah. But a great investment long term. Yeah, that's true. Long term great. You just have to hold on. The segment from segment, it could be rough. But yeah. Stay subscribed.
Starting point is 01:01:21 That's all we're saying. Stay subscribed. Keep tuning in, folks. Stay subscribed. It's all we're saying. Stay subscribed. Keep tuning in folks. Ah, cereal. Are we getting any other safe rounds, Alibis? That is it. That is it, gentlemen. Efficiency. Oh, safe round. The last mission possible is coming out soon, I think.
Starting point is 01:01:42 This is true. We've never seen any of them, so maybe it's time. None of them. None of them. Are they not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:01:50 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:01:56 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure.
Starting point is 01:02:03 I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm not sure. I'm imagining all of them sub out Tom Cruise and put in Tom Hanks. So much better. Just, I saw him run. I saw him running for a scump. He's pretty good at it. He can run. Yeah, he can run. Tom Cruise. Last one. What makes it the last one? Then they'll do like mission impossible rebooted. Oh, I'm sure. I think he's, he's, I think he's, I think he's, I think he's, I think he's, he's, I think he's done. They might like not have Tom Hanks in the spin off. Much less exciting.
Starting point is 01:02:27 Garth Brooks will be a stunt double. Cause he's a big jumping guy. Yeah. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would too. No, I would. I would go see that. I would go see that.
Starting point is 01:02:37 I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I would go see that. I jumping guy. Yeah. I would go see that.
Starting point is 01:02:46 I would go see that. I would too. No, I would in your, uh, your buddy's adventures, he should download them. Yeah. I got to start downloading. That's something to watch on ship. Yeah. Is there like an order? Is it like simple? Yeah. Yeah. Not trying to, not trying to, well, I mean, you gotta remember Lord of the Rings. It's like, well, episode three is the first episode. Oh, no, no. They're all chronological order. Chronological order. Yeah. There's no prequels. I don't, yeah.
Starting point is 01:03:13 It's not like Fast and Furious, Tokyo Drift. Is the first one called Mission Impossible 1 or is it just called Mission Impossible? I think it's called Mission Impossible. Okay. And it's very different than the fall of all the other. How many are there in a good way? Eight eight. This is a long one. Something like that.
Starting point is 01:03:31 Yeah, there's a lot. So you'll have but the thing is, I think Mission Impossible two. Not that good. OK, second one. Remember, this is the Australian dude, and it's like completely over the top. And then they kind of hone it back in Mission Possible 3. That sounds like all of the set. That sounds like the last seven that have been made.
Starting point is 01:03:55 Yeah, all over the top. They're very entertaining. Like it's it. Okay. It's entertainment. If Tom Cruise had won such a weirdo man, Yeah, I'd be a dude be my number one. Speaking of Tom Cruise being a weirdo and weird people, are you guys there's Brian Johnson, who's the guy like that's using his body as like a case study. Like he's forever. Yeah,
Starting point is 01:04:19 how to live forever. And there's like, there's like a meme, there's a ton of memes. There's one recently and it's like Brian Johnson, like it's like a white background, like, you know, with like, uh, ingesting something weird. And it's like, like, choose your fighter. And it's like, only eats this type of food only does this stuff only does this stuff, like blah, blah, blah, blah. And then like the right image is like this Italian man, like sitting in a long chair with his shirt off, like an Italian tattoo, like written across his chest
Starting point is 01:04:48 and like wearing some kind of hat. And it's like a 110 year old World War II vet, like hasn't worked out since World War II. Smokes half a wedge a day. It's like, it's so funny. I gotta dig it up. I'm gonna do that. That's good.
