Welcome to Foundations Friday, episode 40, Become Irreplaceable, Not Irrelevant. This is a concept that you will hear much more about in People Process Progress, episode 92, The Successful Project Manager with Donna Gregorio that comes out next week. But this concept is key, especially for project managers, but really for anybody in any position to consider how are you contributing to your organization's mission, to the response to success, to the special event success, to the project program product success? As a project manager, as a leader, as a facilitator, how are you irreplaceable on that? Are you driving decisions forward? Are you enabling conversations? Are you getting resources where they Are you enabling conversations? Are you getting

resources where they need to go? Or are you administrative overhead where you are becoming irrelevant? And that is a balance that sometimes we find ourselves in at certain points in a project or certain points in a special event or something like that. So always strive to make sure that you are, even if your job is to do, let's say, situation reports, how are you making sure you do the best you can at those, that you are potentially leveraging that information and or propping up the information for decision makers to leverage so that they know I'm going to go to you to get the best information I can to make the best decisions that I can. So this key concept, making sure that you are irreplaceable, not irrelevant,
