Hey everybody, welcome to Foundations Friday 15. Compromise is key. Compromise is something that my wife and I have given as advice over the past couple of decades that we've been married to folks that are newly married, mostly because we had to follow that advice ourselves. Learning to live with others in a relationship when you're two individuals coming together, taking the oath, creating that bond is critical. You have different habits, different likes, different dislikes. And so you have to compromise whether it's in the highest of high parts of the
Starting point is 00:00:42 relationship or the low parts or everything in between. And the same holds true for business where compromise during, let's say, projects. Maybe there's a few different great ideas, but you can't do all of them. You don't have time. You don't have the resources or a mix of that. And so you have to think about how can we compromise and do the best solution that's either a blend or just one or the other, but have that discussion. And so as we close out this week, I would just offer that we all consider compromise in our personal and professional lives and where we can fit that in more and just do the best we can for ourselves and our teams.
