Starting point is 00:00:00 I've been going back through some of my first podcast episodes and website posts and realized that not just the work that I'm doing, but life is full of rewrites. We can look back at something we did earlier in our career. For me, it was earlier in my podcasting career and blog posting and go, man, you really could have done better or did I put the research in or whatever. But where we are now should be and is, hopefully for you all as well, better than where we were before. Meaning the life experience we've gotten, the professional experience we've gotten, the work we've put in mentally, physically, spiritually, hopefully has propelled us past where we were before.
Starting point is 00:00:43 And that's why we can look back and go, oh, I should probably brush that up if possible, keep content evergreen, or go back and look at how my relationship is or my physical health, or maybe somebody I didn't say hi to often enough, friends I don't reach out to enough, and rewrite the script. Rewrite the script by talking to them more often. Set a regular time that you check in with each other. Go back to old blog posts like I am at kevtalkspod.com and put some content that both is going to have better search engine optimization SEO. And I've got a episode about that, but also it's just going to be better for the reader and the listener.
Starting point is 00:01:23 And you know, the content is there, right? The core of who we were before is there, but we build on that. And as we go along in life, as we go along in our jobs and whatever things that we do, we get to rewrite and add on to the script. So don't ever think it's too late. Don't think, oh, I'm 25, I'm 40, I'm 50, I'm 60, whatever, and it's too late for me to make a change. It's never too late. I've learned that valuable lesson this year like nobody's business and made some pretty significant changes in my life for the better. But sometimes we have to do that the hard way, right, by being stressed out, by not being in a good place. And it can be horrible at times, but a rewrite is possible because we are the authors of our lives.
Starting point is 00:02:11 We have the free will to do things here on earth. If you're lucky enough to be listening to this in a country that is free, you can be free to make choices. And even in countries that are oppressed, folks are rising up, folks can make choices, right? So rewrite what you oppressed, folks are rising up. Folks can make choices, right? So rewrite what you do, how you do it. If you feel you need to remember, it's never too late. Thanks so much for being here. Please check out this content and more at KevTalksPod.com.
