It's June 6th. You're listening to the President's Daily Brief. I'm your host and former CIA officer Brian Dean Wright. Your morning intel starts now. The brief you're about to hear is in the same spirit of the actual President's Daily Brief, which is a top secret summary of the most critical events in the past 24 hours, all delivered to the president each day by the nation's spymasters. And so, ladies and gentlemen, I am your spy, and this is your brief. Here's what we're going to be talking about this morning. First up, confirmation that the Joe Biden administration,
has sent weapons to the Azov Battalion, and that's a group of neo-Nazis fighting in Ukraine.
That news broke over the weekend, and we're going to discuss it.
As always, I'm keeping an eye out for developing stories.
Put these two on your radar.
First, North Korea fired a swarm of ballistic missiles yesterday as a clear signal to America.
We're going to talk about why this matters to you.
Finally, an update on the monkeypox outbreak.
There are mutations on this virus, and they are very, very peculiar.
We'll discuss what scientists are seen.
All up next on the President's Daily Brief and right after these messages.
Exema is unpredictable, but you can flare less with ebbglis, a once-monthly treatment for moderate to severe eczema.
After an initial four-month or longer dosing phase, about four and ten people taking ebbglis achieved itch relief and clear or almost clear skin at 16 weeks.
And most of those people maintain skin that's still more clear at one year with monthly dosing.
Ebglis, Librikizumab LBKZ, a 250 milligram per 2 milliliter injection is a prescription medicine used to treat adults and children 12 years of age and older who weigh at least 88 pounds or 40 kilograms with moderate to severe eczema, also called atopic dermatitis that is not well controlled with prescription therapies used on the skin or who cannot use topical therapies.
Ebglis can be used with or without topical corticosteroids.
Don't use if you're allergic to ebbglis.
Allergic reactions can occur that can be severe.
Eye problems can occur.
Tell your doctor if you have new or worsening eye problems.
You should not receive a live vaccine when treated with Ebbglis.
Before starting Ebbglis, tell your doctor if you have a parasitic infection.
Ask your doctor about Ebbglis.com or call 1-800 lilyr-X or 1-800-545-9-9.

First up this morning on the PDB, I have confirmation that a neo-Nazi group in Ukraine
is in the possession of weaponry from the United States and the United Kingdom.
And that confirms the fears that I first briefed you on back in April
that our weapons could end up in very, very bad hands.
We're talking about the Azov Battalion in Ukraine, and that's a neo-Nazi group.
And it currently has three javelin anti-tank missile systems, along with a system of
N-law anti-tank missiles.
The former are made in the U.S. while the latter are made in the U.K.
Now, how exactly the battalion got those weapons is of absolute profound importance this morning.
But before we dive into that, we have to recap the April brief that I gave you about this group.
The Azov Battalion is a paramilitary organization. It's got about 10,000 members. And it was founded back in 2014 when Russia first invaded Ukraine. Their goal was to defend Ukraine from Moscow's intervention. But Azov's leader is a guy named Colonel Andrei Beletsky. And he's on record as saying that Ukraine's purpose as a nation is to, quote, lead the white races of the world in a final crusade, all against inferior races.
led by the Jews, end quote.
Now, battalion members and supporters have nicknamed this man, their, quote, white ruler.
So not surprisingly, battalion members largely embrace Nazi beliefs, and they've got a ton of tattoos
and uniforms that actually celebrate Nazi symbols like swastikas and the SS.
The United States initially said that it wasn't going to train or support battalion fighters
because of these obvious links to extremism.
But that ban has been lifted, and Joe Biden,
reportedly told President Zelensky of Ukraine that the battalion had to tone down their
extremist rhetoric during the war because bad PR, obviously. But there was an interview a couple of
months ago where Boletsky said that he still believes virtually everything that's gotten
him his bad reputation, that in fact he's still a raging bigot, so nothing has changed.
Now, here's what's really fascinating to me about this story. In 2019, there was a bunch of
congressmen and women who sent then Secretary of State Mike Pompeo a letter.
And they said that the U.S. should list the Azov Battalion as a foreign terrorist organization,
right alongside Al-Qaeda and ISIS.
There was a Democrat congressman at the time Max Rose of New York, and he said that the
Azov Battalion, quote, has been recruiting, radicalizing, and training American citizens for years,
all according to the FBI, end quote.
Okay, that sounds very serious.
there was another Democrat congressman, current Jason Crow of Colorado,
who signed the letter as well,
but when he was recently asked about the Azov Battalion,
he said, quote,
I'm not aware of any information that currently shows a direct connection
of Azov fighters to extremism.
Now, that is a blatant lie, of course.
Colonel Beletsky's interviews as of the last couple of months confirm it,
and they all continue to wear Nazi symbols and get Nazi tattoos.
none of that has changed.
Now, Representative Crow knows that.
But he's gone on to say that, quote,
groups can change and evolve,
and that that war might have changed the organization, end quote.
Again, that's a blatant lie for all the reasons that we've already discussed.
On a final note here, there's an American company called the Mozart Group,
and it's led by a former Marine.
His name is Andrew Milburn.
He's actually helping to train the Azo fighters at their request.
Mozart Group is a Wyoming-based company for what it's worth.
So if you were the president this morning, looking at these developments, here would be my counsel.
For months, America has been escalating its involvement in Ukraine with bigger and better weaponry.
And as I have continuously briefed you all on, we have not been able to track any of the weaponry that we send once at first lands in Poland and then gets shipped into Ukraine.
Now, that's a problem that not just Brian has warned folks on, but it's also been something that's,
been said repeatedly in leftist media outlets too, like The Washington Post and the New York Times.
This is a bipartisan worry. So now we have confirmation this June morning that some of our
weaponry has in fact ended up in the hands of a neo-Nazi group, one that just three years ago,
lots of people in Congress labeled as no different than al-Qaeda and ISIS. Now, to be fair,
there's an argument in international affairs that the enemy of my enemy is my friend. In other words,
Joe Biden apparently thinks that we can get into bed with neo-Nazis so long as they're fighting the Russians.
But we've done that before in our foreign policy, haven't we? In the 1980s, we gave weapons to Islamic
extremists in Afghanistan to defeat the Soviet Union. And when Moscow left defeated, we left too,
but the Islamic radicals did not. They took over Kabul. And then they later gave Osama bin Laden
a safe haven to attack America. And he did on September 11th of 2001.
Now also, you might be reminded that the U.S. has funded something called the Free Syria
Army over the past 20 years, all to take on that thuggish president of Syria.
So that army, our army, the army that you, my friends, unfortunately, funded with your taxpayer
dollars, well, that was made up of Islamic extremists, some of whom were former members
of Al-Qaeda.
But the message that the Pentagon shared with the country was that they were, quote, moderate
extremists, whatever the hell that is.
And so the same story is happening, it appears again in Ukraine.
This time we're not funding radical Islamists.
We're arming neo-Nazis.
And I want to pause for a moment and just really focus on how bizarre this is.
Because last April, just a couple of months ago,
Joe Biden said that the greatest terror threat to America is white supremacy.
And now, again, just two months later, he's arming it.
He is sending them missiles.
And you are funding it.
Now, that just doesn't seem right, now does it?
All right, so let's recap what we know.
The Joe Biden administration, along with leaders in the UK, are sending weapons that they cannot keep track of to Ukraine.
And some of those weapons have ended up in the hands of the neo-Nazi group Azov Battalion.
Whether Joe Biden knew or should have known that neo-Nazis were going to get his weapons,
well, that's now an open question, and it's worthy of investigation by our Congress,
or at least some hard questions by our nation's journalists.
And that's why you should care.
Because this fear of American weapons ending up on the wrong hands has now happened.
It's real.
We have confirmation.
So let's pivot to the final question that we always wrestle with.
What do we do about this?
The most obvious response is for you to contact your representatives and senators
and ask that they ask some very tough questions of Joe Biden and his Pentagon.
And you all know how to do it by now. It's the PDB special call to action, isn't it?
So go to Senate.gov or House.gov, find your senator or representative and give them a call.
Be respectful and polite, of course, and as always, but do give them a call. It's time.
And as you do that, I want to issue you a challenge. I want you to sit down with your friends and your loved ones,
and I want you to play this brief for them. And then I want you to debate it, as though you were
president and you had to make the decision about arming neo-Nazis. On one hand, you can do what Joe Biden
has done and flood Ukraine with weapons of all kinds and then lose control over them. Now, meanwhile,
you know that some of those weapons will end up in the arsenals of groups like neo-Nazis,
and God only knows who else. But perhaps those grotesque groups will use some of those weapons
to kill some Russians. On the other hand, you can withhold weapons from the Ukrainians because
you can't control what happens to all those weapons, but you run the risk that Ukraine will be
overrun by Russian forces if you don't come up with some other solution. So there's your morning
debate and discussion. I'd love for you to wrestle with it. And then, you know, send me your
thoughts if you don't mind. The email, as always, is PDB at the first TV. Good luck.
With special guests.

As always, I'm watching a few other stories this morning.
Put these two on your radar.
First, North Korea fired a record-setting number of ballistic missiles yesterday
in a very clear signal to Joe Biden and his counterpart in South Korea.
You see, the U.S. had just concluded a three-day naval drill with the South Koreans.
It was actually the first one that they'd done since November of 2017.
Well, that apparently wasn't a welcome development for our friends in North Korea,
specifically Mr. Kim Jong-on.
And so he set off eight missiles or 35 minutes from at least four different locations.
And that's a really big deal because he'd never done that before.
Normally it's one or two missiles from maybe one location.
So, of course, South Korea and the U.S. had to respond to all those eight missiles,
with eight missiles of their own fired back at him, or towards him anyway.
they landed off of South Korea's east coast and in the middle of the sea, thankfully.
By the way, do you remember my brief on North Korea that I gave you?
They fired a bunch of missiles right as Joe Biden left Japan after his recent trip.
Well, it appears as though that they were intercontinental ballistic missiles
and that they could reach all the way to the United States if they needed to.
Well, that was an escalation, obviously, and there was an attempt at the UN to levy more sanctions
against Pyongyang for firing off all those missiles.
but the resolution to do so was vetoed, and you can probably guess by whom, Russia and China.
I highlight this development for you for a couple of reasons.
First, as I briefed you all on, North Korea has nuclear warheads and missiles that we now know can reach the United States.
And, oh, by the way, they don't like us.
So whatever they do in North Korea should always be on our radar.
But second, North Korea is the most sanctioned country on the face of this planet, and they have been for years.
Well, clearly those sanctions aren't preventing North Korea from advancing their weapon systems.
So as we sanction the heck out of Russia, we should be prepared that they too will probably survive that storm.
Finally, an update on the monkeypox outbreak. Three key pieces of news to share with you this morning.
First, scientists studying the virus say that they're finding mutations that should have taken 50 years to occur,
but they've actually happened over only the past four.
that is one doctor said somewhat remarkable yeah i'd say so by the way that doctor was richard neyer he's a
computational evolutionary biologist at the university of basil in switzerland so obviously a pretty
smart fellow second and perhaps related to this first piece of news this virus is acting in some
really weird ways you see normally there's an initial phase where the patient feels flu-like symptoms
for a period of time a week or two followed by a second phase of pox those are the
ulcers that so many of us remember when we got chicken pox as kids. But that's all changing.
Sometimes the second phase actually happens first. The ulcers come on first, and then the flu-like
symptoms. They're also finding that the ulcers or the pox are not on the hands or the trunk
or the body as is normal, but in the intimate areas. And then sometimes there's no first phase at all,
just one single lesion, no flu-like symptoms. These findings are being shared by doctors,
worldwide, for instance, Donald Vinn at the McGill University in Canada, by the way.
Finally, the Center for Disease Control and Prevention said late Friday that new genetic sequencing
indicate that there are at least two distinct outbreaks underway, one in North America and one in Europe.
And that's really surprising, very unexpected. And it suggests that international spread is both
wider than previously thought and has been occurring for much longer than has been previously realized.
overall, the official case counts, by the way, are at about 800 globally.
The UK and Portugal have the most cases, about 200 and 100, respectively.
The U.S. has about 20 cases, give or take. Canada triple that number at about 60.
There's broad consensus, though, that there are many more cases than those reported.
How many more? Nobody's quite sure.
There is one final bit of good news here.
The virus does not appear to be more lethal than expected.
Thank God for that.
Still, the speed of this community spread that we're seeing and the number of mutations happening,
the speed with which those mutations are happening, well, that means that doctors are pretty
uniform in saying that this outbreak deserves very special focus and really, really tight
surveillance. So I will bring you both as I learn more. And that, ladies and gentlemen,
concludes your morning brief. As always, we close out the show, reminding each other of why we
are here talking about our country and our world. It's the creative.
