NBA show. I'm Juliet Litman. I'm Chris Ryan and I'm walking in Memphis. At least some of us are
Chandler Parsons. I can't believe Chandler's going to Memphis. I was way more into Portland for that
dude. Because you were thinking like it's pretty cheap fly from Burbank to PDX. Go see him.
Yeah, it's on the West Coast where I am. I just feel like there's some good vibes up there with
Dame and CJ, aka 3J. Good vibes. No defense. That's fine. That's good for Chandler. Good vibes.
no defense. Hang out Terry Stotz, a great guy. Great guy, Terry Stats, who's the sharpest
dresser in the NBA. I don't know. I just, I liked it for him. He also would not have to be a
shooter on that team. I don't think Chandler should be a shooter. What if, what is Chandler
if he's not a shooter? He's a point forward. Okay. I don't know. Congratulations, Chandler. You got
Max. You're rich. Buy me a drink. Um, where do you want to start? I want to talk about how this is a big
win for my guy, David Fisdale. Great hire. Coach Fizz to the Gris. Um,
This is a nice feather in his cat.
Yeah.
Coming straight in Memphis was just like a collection of spare parts at the end of the year with everybody hurt.
And now he's got Marcus Saul.
He's obviously sold his vision of the franchise to Mike Conley.
I wonder if they will also sell him that fifth year of the contract that he's been looking for.
I hope so.
If you're Mike Conley, why do you stay?
This would be so that would be, that's so Chandler.
My new sitcom coming soon on, uh, crackle.
On Crackle is if Mike Conley's like, actually, I think I will go to San Antonio.
No, that's not happening.
Okay.
I don't think so.
Apparently Mike Conley is part of the recruiting pitch.
Yeah, yeah, no.
So why would he leave?
I guess Chandler has bad luck when it comes to these things, DeAndre.
There's so many moving pieces.
Like, let's just take stock of where a few teams are at.
Just want to tell you a little bit about our sponsor, Harry, stop compromising on your shave and get started with Harry's.
For far too long, you've either paid too much for a comfortable shave or you're settled for a low price but low quality razor.
Harry's offers something you've never had before.

Stop compromising. Give Harry's a try today.
Harry sounds cool. Here's another cool thing. Did you know that the NBA has built a super
useful bot? Yeah, like a bot. We've written about them on our site. A robot you can talk to.
This one is for basketball fans. The NBA's Messenger bot on Facebook Messenger is awesome.
Just message it to watch highlights of your favorite games and players. You can see the videos you
want. Try it out now by visiting mba bot.net again that's mba bot dot net all right let's talk more hoops
so let's talk about some big movers and shakers sure this is not necessarily the team that you're
first going to think of should we say we're recording this at 1 30 pm pst on friday so it's all subject to
change sure but right now i want to talk about the milwaukee box the exciting city of milwaukee um
So they just
They are extending deals
to Teletovych and Delvedova.
Yeah.
To European wonders.
Actually,
Delvedovas from Australia
to non-American wonders
on this July 4th weekend.
And there's some weird rumors out there.
Yeah,
I love these rumors.
That Dwayne Wade...
I'm coming home.
I've sung twice already.
He could be leaving Miami
to go to Milwaukee
where he went to college
at Marquette University.
Yes.
So not I'm coming home,
but I'm coming back to school.
I'm coming back to my region.
He's a Chicago guy after all.
Yeah.
I find this very hard to believe, but I'm very impressed the bucks are even in this rumor.
Colin bullshit on this.
Okay.
Tell me why.
I think Dwayne Wade ultimately, Heat for Life, Miami Royalty, Star Island or nothing at all.
Holding on to White Side is a big deal.
Yeah.
And I think that what's going to happen here is he's going to do what he did.
He's done every time he's been a free agent, which is he sees all these other guys getting money.
He sees all these other guys being coveted.
And he's like, you know what, I don't want to ride in the back of a banana boat.
Maybe I want to ride in the front.
and I want to get some attention.
And I want to be coveted.
I want to be fond over.
And I think that Miami did what Miami does, which is do a little bit of tough love and ask
Duane Wade to take a discount and asked him to wait his turn in the negotiation process
so that they could talk to Durant on Sunday.
And maybe he just wants to let them know that that's not how he gets down.
He doesn't like that.
He wants to be the bell of the ball.
Exactly.
My favorite thing available to me.
Didn't Gabrielle Union say that when it came to their wedding, he was like a Bridezilla?
Yeah, he was very particular.
Yeah.
Speaking of Gabriel Union, thanks for bringing her up.
My favorite thing to consume as a consumer right now in media is the dual Snapchat account
of Dwayne and Gabriel Union.
Yeah.
They are in the Mediterranean.
They're in Majorca.
Sources say they're now in Ibiza, and they're just like fucking living life.
They're on vacation with Chris and Jada Paul and LeBron and Vanna James.
And their vacation looks incredible, like just incredible.
And last night, Gabrielle Unique.
and did like midnight,
Free Agency begins.
And Dwayne Wade was just like sitting there on the boat with his phone.
And it was just hilarious.
Like I guess he's-
Didn't get real union also get bit by some jellyfish off the coast of Majorca?
Yeah,
they were doing some jet skis.
They also did a mountain bike ride up to a winery.
God damn.
It looked like a great vacation.
I'm really jealous.
I want to go to Mallorca, ASAP.
But anyway,
Dwayne Wade, I think is, you know, he's out of the country.
I'm sure he's playing hardball.
It's just so hard to see him going to Milwaukee.
After 13 years in Miami,
You're going to go to the Midwest?
We did a live blog yesterday during the day.
And it actually was great because this has become, I'm into this whole period of time.
Me too.
Some of my favorite moments of the last two years in sports have been emoji gate with the clippers
and the hostage crisis with D'Andre and more Cuban driving around Dallas looking for him
or driving around Houston looking for D'Andre allegedly.
And now this year I've just really enjoyed all the little tidbits that have come out.
You know, whether it's like the order in which free agents are going to meet
teams and what that says. And like, is it good or bad that Miami is going last on Sunday?
And is it good or bad that Oklahoma feels like they need to have another follow-up meeting
after a five-hour meeting on Thursday that they want to meet Durant after he meets all these
teams? I think it just shows due diligence. Sure. But don't you think the order of these things
happen and matters? Yeah, it's like math, the order of operations. Yeah. And also whether or not
teams are getting meetings at all. RIP the Lakers. RIP the Lakers. Let's not get to Durant yet, though.
I just feel like there's so much other stuff happening, and he's like the holy grail.
Like I just feel like the Mavs are also.
Yeah, this is tough.
Tough time.
Yeah.
So the Mavs are supposed to get Whiteside and Conley.
It looks like they're going to get neither.
I'm putting this out there.
I think Dirk's in play.
Dirk?
You do?
I think that they got like,
Duran is going to happen.
We'll get to Duran.
But I think that the two guys who are going to be in play to be like, you know
what?
what?
I just want to play for a championship contender or Pau and Dirk.
Well,
Dirk only has a couple years left, right?
Yeah.
But like, do you think Dirk would,
be,
Dirk couldn't go to the Spurs.
No.
But he's,
I mean,
the Warriors rumor is wild.
But that,
Dirk is obviously like second to they don't get Duran,
basically.
I don't know.
It's just,
it's a tough time for,
for the Mavs.
I just think it's,
the Mavs are not going to be good next year.
They should also be able to,
I think, vote out Mark Cuban.
I just feel like there's so many years
in which he's whipped on these big free agents.
Shouldn't you be able to,
like, vote out your owner?
Or is it,
or what is it?
What is it about Dallas?
It sounds like they have great.
facilities. Dallas is like a pretty cosmopolitan city as North Texas cities go. What's wrong with
Dallas? Of all the Texas teams, I think that would be my fate, my choice. A lot of the NBA players
are big Cowboys fans already. And they all love, it's true, they all love the Cowboys. I don't know.
It's very strange, but it's like it's tough. Like the Mavs, the Lakers, and the NICs. I think it's
generally more fun when those teams are good and competitive. And it just seems like they're so
out of touch with what players are looking for and like how to make a successful
pitch. I mean, the Lakers whiffed on Evan Turner. Evan Turner just chose Portland over the Lakers.
Why wouldn't you? I love Evan. I'm so happy for him. He's getting mad money. I'm so excited.
I don't know. Like, what do you think is the most important part of a pitch?
Ultimately, I think guys just want to be wanted. I think you want to feel like you're super
important. And I know that the Mavericks probably do do that with people, but I kind of wonder whether
or not the fact that the Maverts' only way of building their team seems to be through these
kinds of crazy, you know, supermarket sweeps and free agency that it doesn't feel like there's
any there there when you're going to visit them. So it's like Chandler Parsons was there for two years,
three years? Two years. I mean, so he was there and out. Everybody who was on that 2011 team
out, you know, except for Dirk, pretty much. It just feels like there's never anything you can really
grab onto. So no matter how slick or good their presentations is and how convincing Cuban might be,
I think you sometimes look there and you're just like, well, who's to say I'm not the
the next person out the door.
All the teams that are in really strong positions right now have drafted really well.
Like that's like the root of their teams.
That's true for the thunder.
It's true for the Warriors.
And I feel back because I can't remember who was talking about this yesterday.
But there was like a Twitter threat going about how Jerry West built the Lakers.
And it was all just through like excellent, excellent drafting.
Right.
And so that is like that's also what gives your team like a character.
Yeah.
It's like the players you help build.
Yeah.
And as I've expressed.
Honestly, that's why the bucks are in business.
Yeah, absolutely.
The Bucks have two guys who were about to enter their primes, who were really good.
Do they draft Middleton, too?
I can't remember if they drafted him.
I can't remember.
I think he might have just been like a weird, they got him.
Yeah, but he was like a young acquisition, wasn't that big.
So their core three of Middleton, Jabari, and Janus, they really helped grow.
Yeah, it got them Greg Monroe, I'm sure.
Yeah.
Obviously, it's an attractive place for veterans such as OJ Mayo.
Now they've got Thon Maker.
They've got a veteran like Thon Maker.
Too soon.
Too soon on both fronts.
Okay, the white whale of this, obviously, is Durant.
Nah, B.
No, B.
So here's where we are at Durant at 137 p.m. on a Friday of free agency.
Yesterday, the Thunder had the first meeting with Durant.
They met at Chesapeake Arena.
They entered through, like, the general admission door of the arena.
Through the Stephen Adams door.
Through the Stephen Adams door, which was really strange.
Like, if you're having, like, a really important meeting.
And I really don't think they thought it was going to be filmed based on everyone was wearing.
Sam Presti was wearing Sean Fennis.
for J. Crew. Yes. He was wearing like a blue-collared short-sleeve shirt, some kind of like gray
jeans and like these Nike sneakers at like eight people at the ringer. So what are those called?
Nike's, I don't know. Okay, cool. I was to try to sun you. I just don't know. Kevin Durant arrived
in an off-white plaid shirt, off-white by Virgil Ablo. Who doesn't have a Wikipedia page, right? Yes. I wanted
to know more by Virgil Ablo a few days ago. I was just like, I keep reading about him and just feel like he's in the
world. So I went to Wikipedia to like start my initial research, go straight to the personal
section, as I always do. And there's no page for Virgil Ablo. And then the follow up to this,
just for everybody wants a little peek inside the minor Juliet Littman, is that she said, this weekend,
I'm going to get my haircut and make Virgil Ablo a Wikipedia page. You don't even know
enough about Virgil Ablo to do that. I'm going to learn. Wow, there's no Wikipedia page.
I'll do organic research, Chris. Lex's Nexus search. Like I'm back in college or something.
something and I'll do research and I'll make him a page. I will. Now I'm just going to do it to prove you
right. I mean to prove you wrong or something. Anyway, Kevin Durant also probably is dying for
Virgil Ablo page because he arrived at the peak in an off white plaid shirt and vans. And I just
don't think that, I wrote about this, if Kevin Durant thought he's going to be filmed, he would not
leave the house in vans. He would not be not wearing what Nike's, especially after I was watching the
vertical free agency show last night. And Nick DePaul was talking about how KDs haven't been doing
that well retail wise really yeah those gray kd nines though i mean nines are dope but apparently the sevens and
the eights were not not doing that great well he definitely should wear them and one was like the price point was
too high it wasn't family friendly huh but that's not an issue for lebrons i think lebrons just like an icon now
that's interesting like how much does that make a fact make a difference in kurt and what uh durrant well this
this is very nicely into nike in the house of under armor yeah so uh yesterday was the thunder meeting
this morning was the Warriors meeting. Apparently,
nice guy, Bob Myers, Steve Carr,
Joe Lacob, Curry, Thompson,
Igwadala, and Green all went out to the Hampton.
He was not on the list initially, was he?
No, he wasn't. And was just, like, in the Hamptons?
I think that they just, they called in their ringer or something.
Okay. He's like their glue guy.
And Drayman was there? Yeah, and Jermon snapped himself,
being like, quick, quick trip on his personal plane,
leaving Michigan. You love Snapchat.
Only for NBA players.
I've never done a snap, nor do I plan to, but it's great for keeping tabs.
Okay.
Just great.
So, yeah, their meeting was this morning.
And so I just did not think Golden State was like a reasonable choice for Duran.
I really, like, obviously they're like their best team, but but I just didn't think he would choose that.
Explain to me why I thought that.
I think you thought that you, you, you thought Kevin would agree with you and that Steph Curry is a loser.
He's a loser.
He's a loser, yeah.
And that he wouldn't want to stop Claytheism from shining.
Right.
That he would be blinded by the bright lights of Claytheism.
And that generally, like, it's, it's, it was one thing when LeBron left Cleveland because
there was so much attached to probably the pressures of playing on this quote-unquote hometown
team from such a young age and not being able to deliver.
Right.
And the lure of Miami and the lure of playing with somebody like Wade who was like,
come down here and like life will just get exceptionally better for you versus Durant going to
a team that they just, they almost beat in the conference finals. And if anything, feel like
they really did put their stamp on that series and say, like, we're not scared of you.
And to say, oh, but I'm just going to still join you. Right. So, like, that's, that's the nut
of it, which is when LeBron left the Cavs, sure, they went far in the, in the Eastern Conference,
but, like, no one thought that was, like, a championship caliber team. Well, I think everybody
just sort of accepted that they seemed every, that last Cavs team, the one, it was like,
Shack and Delante West and LeBron was just a mess.
Wasn't like a bright future.
Even though they won 60, some 61 games, it was still a mess.
But unlike this Thunder team, which has Russell Westbrook, Stephen Adams, now they have
Victor Oladipo.
Yeah.
Durant seemed okay with the surge trade.
Yeah, totally.
A.k.a. was probably signed off on it.
Yeah, he was into it.
They have a lot of good pieces on this team.
So it's not like he, staying with a Thunder would not position him for a champion.
It just seems like, I don't know, when I think about like superstars joining other
superstar teams, I always think about Peyton and Malone going to the Lakers.
Yeah.
And it doesn't really like work the way that you're supposed to.
Like similar like what you're just saying, the way that green.
I think about Steve Nash and Dwight Howard going to the Lakers, yeah.
And the way the green, Curry, Thompson, like, come up together on this team.
Yes.
Bringing in Durant would just be a really big wrinkle of like.
It's funny how we have such short memories.
Because three years ago, the Warriors were like a, a.
cool upstart team.
Yeah, I remember like the George Carl Nuggets, right?
I mean, like, I don't even remember exactly what happened, but they could barely
inbound the ball.
Remember that?
Yeah.
They like, they like, were struggling at like the end of games.
But nobody looked at Draymond Green and Clay Thompson.
I mean, I think people liked those players, but they were like, well, they put together
the nucleus of a championship team.
Like several times.
Guys improve sometimes.
And several, and that was Billy Donovan also improved.
Like those guys, the Thunder figured out how to play together over the course of that
season.
I mean, I know that we are crazy Thunder homers, but like, I just don't, I'm just
surprise that Golden State is as big of a contender.
Durant has had injuries.
I understand why he might go looking for security of a multi-year deal, but I think it's
more likely than not that he does the one-on-one still.
Maybe.
That being said, so who else is he's still, he's got the Clippers now pretty much, right?
Clips now, yeah, but they can't offer him the max.
I'm trying to make a big four.
I also like literally just saw a picture of Chris Paul and a Beezer, like right now when he,
when the clippers should be meeting with that.
Right.
So they'll bring two of the big.
for one of whom punched his, like, best friend who plays with the team.
And I think it was Zach Lowe and Brian Winhorst yesterday were talking about how,
what's that like for JJ Redick to be a part of recruiting DeAndre back to the Clippers last year and now be basically,
I mean, I guess you could just say, look, if we get a chance to trade for Kevin Durant,
can't say now.
Like, I'll trade Austin Rivers to CSK Moscow for that.
But, you know, I think that for JJ, that's a little insulting at the end of a long season.
For sure.
He also is one of their biggest contributors.
and, like, you know, remained healthy while everyone else was not.
Yeah.
So that's one of his, the most games he's played in a season in a while, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's tough.
And he also has the Spurs coming to the Hamptons.
I'd love to know which Hampton they're in, by the way.
I know.
I couldn't get a lot of details.
So the reason why we said, Nabi, when we first brought this up,
was that Andrea Guadala recently, like a little while after the Golden State meeting
with Duran, Andrea Godaulah tweeted Nabi.
Right.
Is it still up?
I'll check.
I'm certain he meant to DM someone.
and made a mistake.
Right.
And was that,
did you guys think you got him?
Do you think he's going back to Oklahoma City?
Like,
what was the question then?
He followed up Nabi with the fam,
deaf got blessed today.
I don't know what that means.
I mean,
the fam,
deaf got blessed by getting Kevin Durant.
Maybe.
Also,
right before that,
his previous tweet was,
heard that boy is back.
Hashtag making a murderer part one.
So I guess that's what he's doing
on his summer vacation.
Is he planning on going to Milwaukee,
too researching Wisconsin.
Is that what's up with Andrea Goodala?
I don't know.
Yeah, and then so Miami's on Sunday.
And then the Thunderers.
Pat Raleigh gets to go last.
Pat gets to go last.
Ethan Skolnik tweeted that there is an odd amount of optimism about that meeting.
I feel optimistic about it too.
I never count out Pat Riley.
If Durant goes to the heat, that's exciting.
That's a good team.
Justice, D. Wade, maybe, if he can resist Wisconsin.
I think they have to trade Gorin.
Yeah, they have to hear it to someone.
They definitely have to treat McBob.
The verbal agreement that Whiteside made with the heat was, if Durant agrees to come,
White Side would take less money.
Right.
Which is kind of incredible.
Like, wow, that White Side agreed to that.
I don't know.
Like, one of the reasons people are counting out of the clippers is because Durant,
they couldn't give Durant at the max.
Yeah.
And I know that White Side is not Durant.
And you're not allowed to, I think that what they're saying is once you're in a contract,
are you not allowed to downgrade, like, downgrade,
your pay once you're within a contract. I think so. It's not like the NFL or Drew Brees can be like,
okay, pay me more later. Right. I think that was part of the drama with Udra earlier in the season,
basically. And like, he seemed to like figure out ways to do this with players and no and when they
become president and club ambassador. Yeah, Joanne Howard. Yeah, vice president of our team for
$10 million a year. Yeah, it's really interesting to see what, what Durant does. And I was thinking about
Thunder without Durant. It's not that hard to imagine because they basically played that way last
season, the 15 season.
That's still like a pretty good team.
We just wonder like what like what do they do and like what, what do they have to offer
teams in next, next summer if they lose Durant?
I think that this could go one of two ways.
I mean, it could go really, really bad for the thunder where next season we're
watching Ola Depot, Canter and Westbrook.
Campaign. Yeah.
Or maybe they have some tricks up their sleeve.
Ooh.
Maybe they could get a Florida Gators reunion going with Al Hortford and Billy Donovan.
That's true.
And you didn't even talk about him.
Offload Canter somehow.
Portland, do you want to get into the Ennis Canter business?
You were so into them last year.
Yeah, you wanted him last year.
Take him now.
Yeah.
And you open up Cap room to get Horford.
It seems like he might go to the Celtics.
A big Al.
You haven't you talked about the Celtics.
I feel like he's going to stay Atlanta now.
What a mess.
You lose Evan Turner and you try to replace him with Al Horford.
That could never work.
You're losing a big, full personality.
You've got one big job on your hands.
Brad Stevens.
How do you live without Evan Turner?
I just don't know.
Yeah.
Once you've experienced the Turner, like, how do you go back from that?
So let's make some predictions.
Okay.
Like, it's Friday.
It's almost 2 o'clock.
Probably is 2 o'clock.
We've got Al Horford, Dwight Howard, Kevin Durant.
I predict Dwight goes to Portland.
Harrison Barnes and Mike Conley.
Mike Connolly is going back to Memphis.
Mike Connolly supposedly recruited Chandler per the internet.
Right.
So I assume he's staying.
So that's a fun.
It's a fun squad.
Chandler, Gasol, Conley.
I'm into that.
And they have Carl Towns' cousin as a rookie, Wade Baldwin.
Oh, wow.
That's right.
I just feel like any town's connection is positive.
A favorite of Jonathan Charks.
Yes.
He was really excited about that.
I'm so excited about Carl Towns just being alive, like a human in our world.
I love the wolves.
I can't wait for terrible wolves basketball.
I was thinking about that today.
Why doesn't Kevin Durant just go there?
They win.
Megan Schuster was talking about this the other day.
And I was like, you know what you're right?
Like that, they would win.
I think they would.
Yeah.
That's a great fun team.
We consider KD.
I know you don't want the cold, but
Towns just seem so lovely.
I'm sure he doesn't? No, I'm not sure, but
he's not considering any cold
teams. Although I don't think he cares about weather
because he looked really overdressed for the heat in Oklahoma yesterday.
Do you know who we have no idea whether they like warm weather
or cold weather? Who? Virgil Lablo.
I'm going to find out. It'll be on his Wikipedia page.
Just do you wait.
Dwight Howard, I predict going to Portland.
I predict going to the Hawks.
Okay. Then what do you think happens?
Horford, Boston?
I'm going to say Oklahoma.
Wow.
I have like a really bad feeling that Katie is going to choose the Golden State because
I just don't want him to.
If he does, does Oklahoma now all of a sudden have a ton of cap space?
Yes.
So if you were Al Horford, would you sign a one-year deal to play with Westbrook in Oklahoma?
No, I would not.
If I'm Al-Horford and I'm like 31 years old.
I've worked my packs a couple of times.
Yeah.
No, I'm going for the big dollars.
dollar bill, y'all.
I don't know.
I just feel like he's going to go to Golden State.
I just think that based on the fact that...
That's dark.
I just don't want him to.
I just feel like it's going to happen.
I don't know.
I don't feel good about it.
Is this like really, he's just in a block clay shine.
If I'm Steph, I don't want that.
I don't really want that either.
And that is like...
How much better can they be?
And like who gets the ball the most when that happens?
I don't know.
Like, what's the distribution of ball handling and it's just
such, I can't.
Especially out without Coach Luke to figure it out.
It's hurting my head to think about.
Do you think Coach Luke of the Lakers has any regrets?
No, I think the Lakers are going to be fine.
He just had a baby yesterday.
Congratulations to the Walton family.
He did.
What?
Is that why they couldn't sign anybody?
Maybe.
They need Luke to recruit.
I want the Lakers and the NICs to be good.
This NICS situation is such a bummer.
I think the NICS will be fun to watch, though.
They have Derek Rose.
For like the five games,
all those guys are healthy.
Joe,
so fun.
I'm excited for Joe Noah.
I think Eric Gordon.
You're excited about that?
I think it would be fun to see like that team.
I know.
I get to say this because,
you know,
it's just,
it's all theoretical to me.
Sure.
Yeah.
Sure.
Okay.
Okay.
I prefer why.
I mean,
I think Christops,
Derek Rose,
Joe,
No,
Eric Gordon and Carmello
would be a fun team to watch
for the 20 seconds
that all those guys are healthy
at the same time.
I just feel like Christops,
who I just started calling Chrissy.
I just feel like Chrissy and Joe No are going to fucking hit it off.
Oh my God.
The young Latvia and Messiah.
I just feel like he's going to be really.
As Jason Concepcion refers to him.
I feel like he's going to be really into Joe No.
They're going to like just fucking kick it.
Joe No, a great ball would have been a great nick for like 10 years.
Oh my God.
The greatest.
He's from New York.
Went to Eunice.
Would have been great.
He's an international and a cosmopolitan city.
He took a picture of himself wearing a Knicks hat today.
It looks like you've been wearing that your whole life.
I would, I just want to hang out with him every day.
I would love to hang out with Joe.
know just see what that life is like um one signing that i feel like is kind of being underreported
among all these ridiculous deals like evan fournier and evan turner and just like people getting
overpaid al jefferson three years 30 million with the pacers really weird i feel like this probably
like he's like a little bit injured he must be where it has chronic injury issues like the feet
are going i feel like this is like a win for larry bird though i feel like that's like an impressive pickup
it's a great pickup yeah it's a what's what's the downside
there. It's so cheap too. I don't get it.
So they have Paul George,
they have Miles Turner,
Al Jefferson,
they have Jeff Teague,
Ellis.
I read it in a Zach Low column that they want to dump Ellis
if they could. If they could,
Miles Turner. Did you say him? Maybe Ellis could go to Memphis.
Ooh, I'm bringing out with Chandler? I don't think so.
Nah, me and Chandler don't want that.
Nabi.
Nabi. That's an exciting team too. I just want to
the East to be better. I'm not sure they're going to be. No one's really going there.
That's one thing that I don't think is being considered enough.
Like, Dwight Howard should go to Atlanta and get out of the Western Conference.
He can be a much more impactful player on the Eastern Conference.
Yeah, I agree with you.
Unless a microscope.
I want to say that it was, um, it was, one of the nice things is like seeing these guys get
these contracts. DeRosen got paid, obviously. And they, he had a really funny,
there was a Kyle Lowry Instagram of him and DeRosen. And it was like, hashtag never paying for
another meal.
I really like that.
Yeah.
I wouldn't want to pay for anything either.
Great point, guys.
I also saw a picture on TMZ of Dwayne Casey and a Beverly Hills hotel of recruiting Myers-Leonard.
It's a crazy world we live in.
Myers and Toronto?
But Myers bet on himself.
Is the Beverly Hills Hotel the end or the beginning of Myers-Lennard summer road trip?
Because he was going to tour Oregon.
Oregon.
Well, he's been...
The Blazers have been out since May.
It's like almost two months, and he's been injured anyway.
So probably the end.
One thing I'm looking forward to coming out in a few weeks.
Do you think he pulled up to the Beverly Hills Hotel like in a muddy Jeep Wrangler?
I don't.
Maybe.
He didn't look really dressed up.
Now I did Dway and Casey.
Dway and Casey's shirt was too long for him.
One thing I'm looking forward to is I don't know which Beverly Hills Hotel was.
It was a Beverly Hills Hotel.
And each like team stakes out like a different lobby.
Yeah, the Spurs did that for Aldridge.
Yeah.
They think they were in the montage last year.
It was like the montage.
There's a peninsula.
There's the Beverly Hilton, the Beverly Hills Hotel.
There's like some other ones.
But each team and agent crew has a different, like, turf.
I can't wait to find out.
Where would your spot be?
I need a map.
I think the peninsula.
They have pretty good food there.
And they have tea time.
I'm sure Virgil Avila would love it too.
Good Wi-Fi to work on with competing pages.
Yeah, exactly.
We'll keep watching pre-agency.
We've got a lot of content on the ringer.
Gosh, watch those videos that we made about whether people should stay or go.
They're quickly becoming out of date, but they were fun to make.
They were really fun.
I had a great joke, I think, about Goodewell hunting.
So check it out.
We have a lot of good content on there.
Charks on Dwight Howard.
Jason just wrote about the Knicks.
We had a live blog yesterday that Matt Borkas spearheaded.
That was really fun.
Check it out.
And if you've got more questions, let me tell you about this bot you can access on Facebook.
What?
The Rise of the Machines?
Yes, the machines are here.
Thanks again for listening.
And by the way, did you know the NBA has built a super useful bot?
Yeah, a bot like a chat bot, a robot you can talk to.
For basketball fans on Messenger, the NBA's Messenger boter bot.
is awesome. Just message it on Messenger to watch highlights of your favorite finals, games, and players.
Well, probably just players at this point. Message it to see the videos you want. Try it out now by
visiting MBABot.net. Again, that's MBABOT.net. N-B-A-B-O-T dot net. Thanks again for listening.
