Starting point is 00:00:00 This is 5-Minute Friday, episode number 292. Make sure your worst enemy doesn't live between your own two ears. That was a quote by Laird Hamilton. And I love this message and I love this thought because every day we have an opportunity, we have a choice of how we want to live and how we want to show up in the world. If we want to show up powerfully, with intention, with beauty, with grace, with joy, or if we want to show up in a way with anxiety, stress, anger, frustration, things that are going to hinder us and hold us back from achieving our dreams.
Starting point is 00:00:39 So you've got the cheerleader on one side and you've got the critic on the other side. The critic is the one that's in your head constantly saying saying you can't, you can't, you can't. And the cheerleader is the one on the other side that says you can, you can, you can. You get to make the decision of which one's going to show up in between these two ears each and every moment, each and every day. Why shouldn't you be the one that gets the dream job, the dream book deal, that launches that podcast, that launches that business, that gets the dream husband, that gets the dream job, the dream book deal, that launches that podcast, that launches that business, that gets the dream husband, that gets the dream wife. Why shouldn't you be the person that gets exactly what you want?
Starting point is 00:01:11 It's a decision and it's a choice. So make sure that whatever you have in between your two ears, that it's not your own worst enemy. Make it your biggest cheerleader.
