This is 5-Minute Friday, episode number 322.
Are you being a lone wolf?
If you want to go fast, then go alone.
If you want to go far, then go together.
It's an African proverb.
I'm going to ask you a question.
Are you a lone wolf?
You may be the type of person who loves working alone.
And it means you get to call the
shots, you get to work on your terms, and you get to focus in. But do you ever think about what
you're missing by excluding yourself from the rest of the pack? Well, today on 5-Minute Friday,
I'm talking about the power of connecting with a community of people who do what you do and love
what you love. Now, pros and cons of working solo. Listen, I used to work by myself,
and I thought that I had to do it all by myself.
I was up 14, 15 hours a day working.
I gained about 35 pounds.
People called me Fluis, which stood for Fat Louis,
because I started to look so chubby in my cheeks,
and my underwear was rolling over,
the rolls of my stomach,
and I was completely losing myself by going alone.
However, I got to be right all the time.
I got to do things the way I wanted to do it.
I got to get up and go to bed when I wanted to do it, right?
Everything was about me.
And it was fun for some things, but really unfulfilling and unsatisfying at the end of the day.
We were born to connect.
We were born to communicate. We were born to
communicate together, not to be lone wolves, not to be on our own. This is a world about community,
about coming together and creating something together. You know, you don't just create a life
by yourself. You build it with a family and a community of people around you. So again,
some of the pros are, yes, you get to be right about everything and you get to do it your way. You know, the challenging thing about being on a team
sometimes is other people do it their way and it may not be as good as you. You may be a solo
entrepreneur on your laptop right now and get to do all the design and the customer support and
email things the way you want it to be done. And that may be fun for you, but you're not going to
be able to scale. You're not going to be able to grow. You're not going to be able to create something of large
magnitude and build a legacy around what you want to put out in the world. So again, there are some
pros and cons, but what's possible for you when you actually plug into a like-minded community
of powerful people? What's possible for you is creating something magical.
That's right, creating something together.
You get to celebrate, you get to connect,
you get to share ideas.
I just completed a week-long project with my team
that we were working on grinding day in and day out
for about six days straight.
Long hours, there was challenges,
but there were also some incredible moments
where we were able to come together and support one another.
There's no way I would have been able to create this project on my own.
I needed the collective group.
Each one with their own skill sets, their own personalities, their own value that they brought to the project.
I needed them to create something even more meaningful than if I created it on my own.
This is what's powerful when you join a wolf pack versus playing lone wolf.
You get to come together and create something meaningful.
You get to get feedback, ideas.
You get to find partners and affiliates to help you promote what you're doing.
This is what it's all about.
I've experienced being a lone wolf in every area of my life from
being single, from playing sports on my own, training on my own, doing my health on my own,
working on my business on my own. And I'm telling you, it doesn't pay off in terms of the results
you can create when you do it with other people. Again, creating partnership and relationships,
intimate relationships, family relationships, intimate relationships,
family relationships, community relationships, working on your health together, working on your
business, finding these groups, these wolf packs to support you in moving forward is going to
accelerate your journey into creating incredible magical results far greater than if you just tried to do it all on your own.
So find your group, find your Wolfpack and join that community today in every area of
your life.
I'm telling you, it will support you in getting to whatever next level you're looking for
in your business, life, spirituality, and relationships.
Join your Wolfpack today.
