This is 5-Minute Friday, episode number 414, The Power Tribe. Alright guys, I have been doing calls all week. All week with incredible leaders, game changers, influencers, millionaires, people who are looking to take their life, their business, their influence, their impact to a whole new level. And I'm building the power tribe. It's called the greatness mastermind. Something that I've been wanting to do for about a year now. And my good friend, Bedros Kulian, who I did an interview with a number of months ago, talked about the power of building a mastermind,

what it is to be a part of one, what it is to host one, and everything that you get out of being in this power tribe, this tribe of leaders, whether it be in your industry or other leaders who are thinkers like you in other industries, coming together to support one another in drastically increasing your impact and your income.

Guys, this is powerful. I've done masterminds for many years, and I remember just a quick story. My first mastermind that I ever attended, I felt out of my element. I didn't feel like I fit in the room. I felt like everyone else was smarter than me. But within 30 days after attending this mastermind, I had so much insights and so many great experiences and connections. There were a number of relationships I formed in this weekend retreat where I generated $250,000. It was almost $250,000. I think it was like $240,000 something. It was called $250,000 in the next 30 days from that experience in that retreat mastermind room. This tribe of powerful

influencers coming together to inspire everyone, to lift everyone up. I'm going to give you seven reasons why you need to find your power tribe or find a mastermind to support you in your business and in your life. Number one, first and foremost, is inspiration. When you're a part of a group of 15, 20, 25 other leaders, people who are taking their life and business to another level, it's fun to be around those people. You get to experience new things. You get to be inspired.

You get to be in awe of what people are doing. And it inspires you to step your game up. So when you stay in your comfort zone around people that aren't striving for more, that aren't at another level, when you're the smartest one in the room, it's hard to get inspiration. So the reason why you got to join one is for the inspiration. Number one, number two is the influence. When you surround yourself with influencers, you become a bigger influencer yourself through proximity, through being surrounded by these individuals. So when you're around these guys, these ladies, people

who are up to big things, who have influence on an audience, who have audiences that follow them already, by association, you're going to become an influencer and a bigger influencer yourself. So if you want more influence, surround yourself with influencers. It's simple. Number three, ideas. Every time I go to a mastermind, it doesn't matter how much it is. If I'm spending $50,000 a mastermind or $20,000 for a mastermind, whatever it may be, I always get an idea that is a $100,000 idea or a $50,000 idea or a million dollar idea. I always learn something new. And sometimes it's from the people I least expect it.

You know, maybe you're interested in what a few people have done. And so you're like, oh, this person is going to teach me a lot. But it's that quiet, silent assassin who, you know, just shares something in the room and just says that one thing that opens something up in your mind. And you think, wow, I can't believe I never thought about doing that or executing that. Now I can go implement this, take action over the next 30, 60 days or whatever it is, and generate 100 grand or 20 grand or whatever it may be, a lot more than what you're making. Those ideas are so powerful and you could take away powerful ideas from your power tribe

and execute that to generate more income and more impact. Number four, influencer accountability. Guys, when you invest in yourself to be a part of a mastermind, to be part of a power tribe, the influencer pressure that you put on yourself now, you've committed with a group of other influencers and people who are leveling up. Now you have that social pressure to make sure you stay committed to achieving your dreams. What you say you're going to create, you say to the group, here's my vision, here's my goal, this is what I'm going to create in the next 30, 60, 90 days. That social pressure with those influencers really kicks your butt in gear, I should say,

more than just announcing it to people that aren't at a level that high. If you announce it to people that are struggling or just kind of like figuring things out, it's not a big of a deal if you don't make it happen, if you don't follow through. But when you say what you want to achieve to a group of influencers and you invest a high dollar amount in this coaching and in this training and in this core power tribe, you better believe that you're going to be more committed

to achieving what you set out to do because of all those factors. So that influencer accountability is huge. That's number four. Number five, incredible experiences that you couldn't get anywhere else. When you join a mastermind, well, this is what I am creating. At least I'm creating weekend retreats where I want to be pulling in the biggest leaders in the world, the biggest celebrities in the world to come in and share and do group Q&A's

with and do one-on-ones with with people and to teach content about what they're doing on such a profound big global level so that the group can level up with people that are way bigger than them and creating experiences at night where we're able to go out and do things behind the scenes that people aren't able to do just based on access and just based on relationships that have been formed. So that's what I'm creating in my mastermind is these experiences, these profound opportunities and experiences that you couldn't have anywhere else. anywhere else. So getting part of the mastermind, you want to make sure you join one that has these curated experiences as well, whichever ones you guys join in your industry, your niche. Number six, high level coaching. Again, when you invest at a high level, when you invest at a high price point, you want to make sure that the person running the group is qualified to give you some

coaching at a high level as well. So they, hopefully they've achieved certain things in their business that you want to achieve. They've done certain things that you haven't done yet. Maybe you've done certain things that are different or are greater than in certain areas, but you want to make sure that the things you're interested in, that they can provide coaching on that to support you in getting there. So that high-level coaching is huge, guys. Don't try to run your business on your own. The greatest athletes in the world have coaches when they're at the top and when they're striving to the top.

They don't get to the pinnacle and the peak of their athletic career and say, you know what, coach, next season, I got this. You don't need to be here. I'm just going to practice on my own. You don't need to coach me. I'm going to figure it out on my own. They don't do that. They spend more money on better coaches. So that high level coaching is crucial. And if you don't have a coach right now in your business, then it's going to be extremely hard for you to grow this next year in 2017. And number seven, this could be one of the biggest opportunities of all, high-level partnerships. That's right.

When I went to my first mastermind, I met five different partners that helped me make a quarter of a million dollars in the next 30 days. You have the opportunity to blow up your business in a good way, obviously, by forging powerful allies to support you, where you can support them as well. This is a two-way street. You support the group and finding people that could support you as well. people that could support you as well. So guys, those seven reasons right there are why you must, must join a power tribe, what I like to call a mastermind this year. Set yourself up to win.

Forge a powerful group, whether you're going to create this yourself and you're going to find people in your industry that are leaders and you're going to create this and manage it and facilitate it, awesome. Or join one. Invest in yourself. Spend the money, the time, the energy to get very clear that you want to surround yourself with greatness. You want to surround yourself with leaders in your space that are committed to stepping up and leveling up every single week of 2017. If you're not doing something like that, guys, you're not going to be

as pushed as much to reach your goals and to have as big an impact and to have as much income as you want to have. It's time to step up. Join a power tribe.
