Starting point is 00:00:00 This is 5-Minute Friday, Episode 444 with Tim Story. Hey guys, I'm posting another clip from the Wunderlust event I hosted last month. In this time, it's featuring my main man, Tim Story, who is an incredible life coach for A-list celebrities and who is also speaking at the Summit of Greatness this year. Enjoy. There's three levels of living. There's almost, most, and utmost. Almost means not quite. I almost lost the weight. The relationship almost worked. Come on. But then there's this thing called the most back in the 60s they would talk about people like pat boone and they would say man he is the most most means there's a ceiling look at me
Starting point is 00:00:56 there's a ceiling there's a ceiling is there anybody besides me that wants to go beyond the ceiling that people have tried to create for us why don't you clap right there like we're gonna go the the ceiling of a person's house is supposed to be eight feet but many of you were raised in ceilings that were lower than eight feet. Because of your mother's attitude. Her control. Maybe your father's control. Maybe the fact that something happened in your family. And now they lowered the ceiling.
Starting point is 00:01:35 So I don't want an almost life. And I don't even want a most life. Because I don't know what your ceiling is for me. I want an utmost life. I want to go beyond. I life coach entertainers in this town since 1992. I first had my first office on Cannon Drive in Beverly Hills in 92. So I get to talk to a lot of entertainers and a lot of times I like to talk to their parents because you can find out a lot about a person's life by talking to their parents. And so I was having lunch with Brad Pitt's mother.
Starting point is 00:02:09 And I said, what did Brad want to be when he was little? And it's so cute because she calls him Bradley. Well, Bradley, he wanted to be an architect. Well, he is. He wanted to be an actor. Well, he is. He wanted to be a director. He is.
Starting point is 00:02:24 He wanted to be a actor. Well, he is. He wanted to be a director. He is. He wanted to be a humanitarian. He is. Robert Downey Jr. I work with him to this day. Asking his mother on the set of a movie, what did Robert want to be? He wanted to be a director like his dad. He wanted to be a humanitarian. He wanted to be an actor. So it's really weird that what these people wanted to do they actually did so here's what i'm saying about your life how wild is it gonna be when you go from almost to most to utmost and you actually do everything that is inside of you that is inside of you.
Starting point is 00:03:05 You've been born an original. Why die a copy? I don't want to talk like someone else. I don't want to be Tony Robbins, as great as he is. I don't want to be Deepak Chopra. I've been born an original. I don't want to die a copy.
Starting point is 00:03:23 Does that connect to anybody that's here today like Lewis I like to study what makes people amazing and here's what I found that success leaves clues and people that do uncommon things like yourself, the word uncommon means not regular, not the norm and not the standard. How many of you do not want to be common, regular or standard? Just lift your hands if you do not want to be that. So people who do uncommon things, here's what happens. Number one, they have uncommon thoughts. Try that. Say, say, I have uncommon thoughts. Say it even stronger. Say, I have uncommon thoughts.
Starting point is 00:04:21 You know what? You probably did when you were little. you know what you probably did when you were little but if you're not careful someone will knock the uncommon thoughts out of you I get to spend a lot of time with Oprah Winfrey and she's really cool and she says I love that thing about you Tim about the innocence that's in your soul I still have my innocence. I still
Starting point is 00:04:46 have my little kid's Compton swag. You get around Pharrell Williams, he's got his inner city Virginia swag. You can't tell him he can't do it. When you're little, you thought uncommon thoughts, but sometimes people try to come watch and turn the volume down on your uncommon thoughts. But people who do great things like you, they have uncommon thoughts, but they also make uncommon plans. You cannot make uncommon plans until you have uncommon thoughts. Having common thoughts. Do you know that I'm actually living in the bonus of what I ever thought I would do in life? I'm 56 years of age.
Starting point is 00:05:37 And holy schmoly, guacamole. Doggone it. It happened? Like, no, no, no. For real. A friend of mine said the other day, he said, Tim, are you taking medication because you just seem so calm? I said, no, I just have a lot of peace.
Starting point is 00:05:57 I said, because I'm not chasing dreams. I'm cooperating with them. See, there's a big difference. I'm not chasing anything. I'm cooperating with what heaven See, there's a big difference. I'm not chasing anything. I'm cooperating with what heaven already said about me. Somebody clap your hands if you're catching this.
