I wanted to just woke up. You've already been working for two hours.
I've been working for about five hours.
Five hours?
Yeah.
What time do you start your day?
Normally starts about seven. I get up earlier than that, but start working
about seven. But today I started at five.
How come? Cause international stuff?
Oh, I think I still am a little bit jet lagged. So I'm just getting up a
little bit earlier, but I was ready to go today
So might as well start early and you just not fool around if you wake up you just shower dress to the office
Yeah
Crazy is someone at rogue headquarters Katie 24 hours. Is there someone is there something there is yeah
We run 24 7 at this point
Wow, what are some of the things that happen at night?
Like just watching machines cutting stuff and packaging and all operations.
I mean, Monday through Friday, we run the warehouse, um, three shifts.
And then on the weekend we only run one shift, but manufacturing runs, uh,
pretty much all the time, um, and have security in the building.
So there's always somebody here.
Is there always security there?
Yeah. And they just, they just cruise around they have a
Yeah, we have a inside and out outside
dang How many employees do you guys have?
More north of 800 at this point holy cow
That's crazy
Is is is That's crazy. Is invitational over or no? It's like still stuff's coming home and debriefs?
Yeah, we still have debriefs. We have what does next year look like. I think that'll take the next couple weeks.
And then we'll go into next year's planning already. I mean it's it's really become a
Year-round kind of operation at this point
Any thoughts of taking a year off
No, no, maybe maybe right after when one more super exhausted But you wake up the next morning and and we're ready to go
Right. I guess it's like a fighter like right after the fight
You're like, okay, and they ask you who you
fight next? You're like, hey, chill.
It's like, you know, after on Sunday night, it was you have
kind of all the range of emotions, you're exhausted,
you're, you know, happy with such a great event and just kind
of putting all that together. It takes a few days to kind of
unpack all of that.
It is emotional, right?
There's like an emotional like dump.
Is it sad every time it's over?
Not because it's over, but just kind of like,
I don't know what it is, but it just reminds me of,
the only thing I can think of is just like going
to like a film festival.
You take a film to a film festival,
you work so hard to get it there,
you show it and it's over
and you're kind of like depressed a little bit.
Yeah, I actually had a moment,
I was standing with the ops guy from the P and J and we were just talking
about, you know, the weekend and how great it was and our team was tearing down
and we were just watching it and it, you know, it took a week to build.
And then you have this jam packed weekend of the event.
And by eight o'clock Sunday night, um, in Scotland, the entire floor was gone.
The flooring was up, Zeus was down.
And it's just like this big letdown because you put so much into it and within four hours it's ready to go back to the states.
So, but I get that at the end of every event. There's just that's kind of letdown of, oh, it's over, you know, and now where are we going? Yeah, from all the years I always remember like right when they would
announce the fittest man in the world, I would see Dave and I could see that there was like this like
almost like someone had died like a mild depression. Yeah, it's a it's a lot you know
the weekends it's a lot of stress it's a lot of anxiety to make sure everything goes right and
you want the athletes, the fans, the viewers to all, you know,
enjoy what they're watching and, and competing in, and then to have it all
end, it's, uh, it's just, uh, it's a lot of emotions for sure.
Yeah.
Sorry.
One second.
Hey, Corey, I think your account's been hacked, dude.
I got a DM from you saying that you're launching a clothing line.
And then would I make a post about it? And
then I wrote yes. And then the next response was, can I have your phone number? And then
a bunch of other people were telling me your account's been hacked. Has your account been
hacked? Anyway, you should you should send out a map. You should announce your account's
been hacked. If it's been I think it's been hacked. Everyone says it's been hacked. All
right. Sorry, Katie for interrupting. time, were you were you bummed?
When you realized that you had scheduled a podcast for like, fuck, why did I do that?
No, okay.
Happy to be here.
Okay, cool.
Thanks for doing this.
Hey, can you tell me your origin story into CrossFit?
How you found CrossFit? Like the first time someone introduced it to you.
Oh, we're going way back.
Um, 2000, I guess end of 2007, I was just coming off a plane. I got hurt. I broke my foot.
And when I was playing in the WNBA, and the guy that I was rehabbing with said, hey, you should go try this.
And it was CrossFit and it was Rogue Fitness.
It was CrossFit Columbus, the affiliate we still have and
fell in love with it.
That was January of 08.
And I think by April, I had already, Bill had signed me up for the games and
that's the summer that I won and the rest is kind of history.
How did you break your foot?
I caught an outlet pass and turned I pivoted and my foot broke.
I mean nothing crazy it wasn't jumping wasn't running real fast I just turned and pivoted
and broke my foot and got a pin in it.
Like your foot was planted in your body term, but your fit didn't turn foot. Didn't rotate with it or no, my foot did rotate and it just kind of has that
motion. It just, I knew my foot was broken.
Do you think you already had a, um, uh,
I forget what they're called hairline fracture or something from stress?
Um, I mean, maybe I didn't have really have any pain before that, but it's just a lot of,
you know, it's a lot of pounding. You're running a lot, getting up and down the court and
a lot of explosive movements, a lot of pivoting and cutting. So things happen. You know, I've
had multiple knee surgeries at the same time. So I think it's just part of the game and part of the
sport. And, you know, we it happened. I had surgery. I moved on, moved into a new sport. Really enjoyed
that took some of the competitive fire away. That's one of the big things I love
about CrossFit and, you know, being a part of an affiliate community is you
go in there and you can compete against anybody any day. And it really takes away
that that's something that I needed because I really enjoy competing. I hate to lose.
So it gave me what I needed.
Plus, you know, I really enjoyed the methodology as well.
Was that was the broken foot the end of your your WNBA career or was it the finding of
CrossFit?
Which one was kind of like the pivotal?
I think breaking my foot and then just understanding that like I had really done everything I wanted to do, you know, my career.
I had made it to that elite level.
And, you know, at that point, it's not where women's basketball is now where they're starting to get paid more.
And they, you know, it's not where it needs to be, but we're on the right track.
But it was like, what am I doing next to my career?
I was OK with where I was.
And then once I found CrossFit, it did give me that, you know, competitive fire that I
was really looking for. I do think that that really helped me with my transition out of
the game. I still love being around the sport. I still do radio for the Ohio State women's
team. This is my fourth year doing that. And that keeps me around the game. So this is, you know, but I was ready to move on at that point.
So you, you, you, when you, when you go into CrossFit that first time, Columbus is your
foot broken?
No, I had already rehabbed.
I had been released to do kind of anything I wanted at that point.
I could have went and played or, or anything like that.
And did you, and when did you tell the office, what team were you on?
I was on Charlotte in my last year, they actually disbanded.
So they were no longer a team, so I would have had to find a new team.
So I could have went overseas and played, I guess that winter.
And I just really, because I was still rehabbing, I didn't wanna go overseas.
And I ended up finding this and loving it. that winter and I just I really because I was still rehabbing I didn't want to go overseas and
I ended up you know finding this and loving it and uh you know the rest like it's just uh I'm still doing it today so I obviously I have a love for it. So just as kind of a smooth transition
as you go into rehab as you find CrossFit the team you're on disbands and so you would have had to
make an effort either way you were gonna have to make an effort to go into CrossFit, the team you're on disbands. And so you would have had to make an effort, either way, you're gonna
have to make an effort to go into CrossFit or find another
team. And so it was just smooth.
Yeah, and I ended up getting a job at Ohio State. I was put on
I was a project manager on their new hospital projects. But then
I started, you know, working for rogue, I was training at the
affiliate. And then I was, you know, working after work work for bill for some of the equipment stuff packing boxes things like that
And then you know that fall is when I left that job and started with rogue full-time
So you you you go to the did you graduate from Ohio State? Yep, I know five and what was your?
Major has nothing to do with what I do today.
Communications. I have a dual in communications and history. I really enjoyed kind of the
journalism piece of it, but I also thought I was potentially going to go to law school,
then everything happened with Rogue so quickly that that kind of took a backseat and here we are today
I'm using nothing that I learned in school to do my job
How did you get that job with the the building of a hospital on campus as a project manager?
How do you had how did you have the qualifications for that? I was a junior position
I'm you know assuming just
Being in athletics at the university and a graduate, that obviously
helped.
And you were actually a project manager in the actually the construction of the facility,
like putting up the beams and all that stuff?
They hadn't actually started the project yet.
And the crazy part is that project is still going today.
So that was in 08.
I think they just
finishing up their final phase. It's a beautiful building, beautiful what they did on campus.
But that's kind of the crazy part about construction. It's never ending.
And it's actually, is it actually, it's a place where you, it's an actual facility where
like if you have a broken toe, you go in and get it fixed. Or if like you got a valve problem
in your heart, it's a...
Yeah, it's their main campus here at Ohio
State Wow okay so you go in there and you go into this CrossFit Columbus place
and do you remember your first impression I crushed the workout I loved
it I don't know if I crushed the workout but I loved it. I don't know if I crushed the workout, but I crushed
everybody in the class and that made me, you know, like I said, I don't like to lose. And
I was like, I couldn't get enough of it. I was ready to, you know, come back. Bill wasn't
very nice to me. Told me I could go sign up online like everybody else. And, you know,
obviously that kind of you know little spark
and showed up the next day and I just uh you know never stopped going. And when you say that it's
you had you had already established you were you were a um accomplished athlete and you expected
you showed up there you did well and so in general in sports if you do well you expect like a little
bit of hand holding you got none of that there.
I don't know if I expected handholding, but like maybe a little bit nicer.
I don't know.
I don't know.
He just wasn't nice when he said you can sign up online like everybody else because I was
so excited to be there.
But you know, it all worked out.
You know, I enjoy the weight.
When I was playing basketball, I really enjoyed the weight room. I can't say that, you know, about all my teammates that I've
ever been with, but I was one of the ones that just loved being in the weight room no
matter the time of year, no matter if we were in season or out of season. So it wasn't like
I it was the first time being around weights or workouts. Obviously a workout like that,
it was the first time I've ever been around anything like that. But I just really enjoyed
it from day one. Do you remember the workout? I don't. It had dumbbells
in it. I'm pretty sure it had thrusters in it. But I don't have you done a thruster up to that
point in your life? No, no. Okay. So you just went in and you were a good mover? Yeah. Yeah,
I became a better mover through CrossFit.
I mean, I moved pretty good, but my mobility got better
just doing different movements.
We never deadlifted when I was in college or professionally.
But we did do the Olympic movement.
So I had a lot of at least knowledge coming into the gym
from there.
In the open, the games then was you just show up, right?
Yeah, you could just sign up.
And I didn't know, like we had a group that trained at one o'clock every day.
We had a lot of fun and we showed up one day, one Saturday and build has had pieces of our registration.
There's three of us, myself, Eric Jones and Jay Thomas.
There were just three pieces of paper up on the whiteboard and we're like, you know, what is this?
And he's like, well, I've signed you up for the CrossFit Games.
Had no idea what it was really, but sounded fun.
Hadn't been an individual athlete in a long time.
So that was a different experience.
And it's a different experience, you know, back then at the ranch.
It's so unique compared to, you know, how big it is today and what it looks like today.
But you know, I wouldn't trade that for anything.
In your collegiate and professional career
as a basketball player, it was all women you trained with?
Yeah, I mean, we had in the summertime,
we would train with different teams.
So we trained with men's basketball, hockey, baseball,
things like that, women's volleyball.
So there was a mixture in the summer just to make you know, make it a little bit more fun.
But yeah, throughout the year and with the team, it was just women.
And then when you went to the CrossFit gym, it was it pretty coed? Was it pretty split?
Yeah, it was pretty split.
And did you like that?
Loved it.
Loved it. And did you kind of like beating up on the guys too, right?
Like if there weren't girls there, you could beat up on, there were guys there you could beat up on.
Yeah, and I just really appreciate the banter.
And I think any CrossFit affiliate that you walk into,
any box you walk into, it's just so welcoming.
It doesn't matter if you're male or female, you walk in,
everybody's there to get a good workout in
and have that community.
And I've always felt that from day one,
but just for me personally, I really enjoy the banter of it. Whoever wants to be
competitive, let's go, get into class. Even now, even though my numbers are fading, I still really
enjoy training with other people and putting yourself against someone else. So it was very
welcoming except for the owner of the gym. Yes. And did he, when did he, did he
eventually lighten up? I don't know you've been around him as he has he lightened up? No, I'm
kidding. Yeah, he did. He did lighten up. Obviously, I started, you know, training at the gym and stuff
like that. And we had a good time and we had a good time with that lead up to the games as well.
So, you know, I think everybody was still trying
to figure it out at that point.
It was so new and unique and interesting
that like we just had so much fun with it.
And so when you're at the gym,
and has he started Rogue yet at that point?
Yeah, he had started Rogue.
And they were kind of running that out of the office and, you know, really kind of a
storage closet for some of the equipment, but it was mainly just the box and then kind
of doing some online stuff.
And then as the equipment side grew, you know, you kind of, we took over the space beside the gym
and that became the warehouse. And then, you know, every three to six months as we started
to grow, we just grew out of the building and had to end up moving in 2010.
When I came and film with you, was that that or was that the original gym where you were
like shoot, like there was a basketball hoop inside this room and there was really no room
to shoot. So you would shoot over boxes and over beams and it was crazy. Yeah that was the original one.
That was the original one and when you got there did you how long did it take before you figured
out that this guy who owns the gyms also uh selling equipment? I think I knew um fairly quickly within
the first couple weeks um that that he was doing that.
And do you remember, was the skew list small at that time?
Was it just like two items?
Do you remember what it was?
Yeah, it was a couple items.
It was some bumper plates from the Rubberman, ropes from Divide, some plow boxes from Ader,
a handful of other things. And then that list started to grow in 09 and then into 2010
is where it really started to take off.
When does he start courting you? Is it before you go to the games?
When does he make it known?
It was before the games.
Before the games?
And how does someone like Bill, what's his courtship process look like what's like? How do you know?
We had a good time, you know, that's I'm not gonna go into that sebon, but we had a good time
We got engaged pretty shortly after the games and got married pretty quickly after that and here we are all these years later
Does he use when you say you had a good time he uses alcohol as a as a tool in the arsenal
No, I think you know shared interest right we had the gym
We would we would meet up with other people on the weekends and get wings and stuff like that
And just really kind of that shared interest of what we were doing
And you know like I said it it's all worked out like get wings like eye contact across the table, you both grab
the same wing at the same time and your hands touch shit like
that.
No, no, not like that at all.
What? What do you mean? Why not? Doesn't that sound fun?
No, it does not sound fun. Oh, no, no, we had a good time. You
know, go out, you know, there's a place there was this place
called wings and rings that was right around right across the
street from the gym. And we used to go over there and that, you know,
and then just being at the gym, we were I was at the gym a lot because before I had started
at Ohio State, I would be at the gym a couple hours a day. Not really training that long,
at that point, but just hanging out. So we just really shared a common interest of, you know,
how how we work and what we enjoy doing, you know,
training-wise and things like that. So. Oh, sorry, one second. Sevan, let it go. No, fuck you.
Okay. Did he, do you think he pursued you or you pursued him? Who do you think was the?
I think it's, it will depend on which one of us you
ask. I think I would say him and he would say me. You would say he pursued you, he would... yeah. Oh
okay well that that seems to work out perfectly. Yeah. And then so you're there and when do you
get it? And so you're there training for the games, there's some flirting going on but you have a job
over at the building a hospital.
Where are you living at the time?
Are you at home with your parents?
No, I lived in Columbus.
My parents lived about an hour and a half Northwest of here.
So I was, I was living on my own before I met him.
So you were already like an adult.
Yeah, somewhat.
And and when do you get a job? When do you quit your job at the hospital, build
and start working for Rogue? Late 2008 and then early 2009 is when we really, you know,
we started to, another guy had come on board. We were working on a big military order for
the Marine Corps. And it was really just the three of us at
that point, trying to make it work.
Hey, so that's exciting, right? When you get an order from the military, like 2008, you're
the small startup business and you get an order from military, you're like, holy shit.
Well, it's amazing, terrifying, kind of all those feelings at the same time, because we
had never shipped a freight order, we had never shipped internationally and you know we had like six months to pull it off.
And at that point we hadn't even made some of the equipment you know they wanted squat
stands and some deadlift platforms and benches and so we had to figure out all of that out
on the fly.
So those became some of our first products that we started making on our own.
And how did they find out about Rogue?
How did people know that Rogue was the place to go?
What was the, was it all word of mouth?
Word of mouth.
I'm actually not quite sure how the contracting agent
found out about us, but they had reached out
to see if we would bid on the project.
And really that kind of catapulted us, you know,
to be able to inventory product.
And then obviously with the growth of CrossFit
at that point, really, you know, to be able to inventory product. And then obviously with the growth of growth of CrossFit at that point, really, you know, we took off at that point.
So was the business really just like, like, it was like a race to provide? What did it
feel like that for years? Like, oh, my God, we're just racing.
I don't know if it felt like I mean, I guess from 2010 to 2016, there was rapid growth.
I think in those early years, it was, you know, Bill, Chris and I were, you know, taking
orders, putting products on the website, doing all the quotes and then packing out all the
boxes and then we had hired a few warehouse guys and, but we were still every day at,
you know, two or three o'clock, we'd go out and pack all the boxes and put it on the UPS
truck together.
And I think looking back, those are some of the best times because you're all
working toward the same goal.
You have no idea where the hell it's gonna go and just put your head down and
put the work in and we thought it would all turn out and here we are today.
Did you guys have visions in the early years in 08 of it turning out like this or
did you guys just have in the early years in 08 of it turning out like this?
Or did you guys just have your head down and working?
I do think Bill had visions of where he wanted to go.
But I don't think anybody thought it was going to be to where we're at now.
I don't think you could plan for that, you know, and I think we've been,
you know, we've gone, we haven't grown too fast for we've only grown as big as we should grow and not overreaching, you know,
each time we needed to knock down a wall, we would knock down
a wall, but we wouldn't do that beforehand. Okay. strapping and
and being debt free. You know, that's that's been the biggest
thing over the years is it's a lot of a lot of free, you know, that's been the biggest thing over the years.
It's allowed us a lot of freedom.
You know, we run really fast, we've broken some things, we fixed them along the way.
But we've learned a lot of lessons that way, and it's allowed us to grow as fast as we needed to grow.
What was your parents' impression of Bill?
Were they like, hey, can you pick someone other than a gym owner?
No, they didn't think that. They did. They thought I was crazy
for leaving, you know, a pretty stable job at Ohio State, just
coming from there, playing wise and going into a startup, you
know, with with three people, you know, they I think they had
concerns there. But, you know, they're around, they travel with
me everywhere. My dad works here and we have a good time.
So I think Bill becoming part of our family,
my family's large and very close.
And so just bringing him into the family,
maybe kicking and screaming, no, he loves my family,
but and they love him.
So it's been a good mix for sure
Yeah, your dad's basically a staple of every event
Yeah, more people may know my father than maybe Bill and I which is a great thing
He's a great human loves to get along with everybody and he's he's pretty much a staple at all the events we go to
so
so you did you have you did have normal parents you have the job at the at the He's pretty much a staple at all the events we go to.
So you did have normal parents. You have the job at the school,
you probably had insurance paid for,
you had long-term options for growth,
and then all of a sudden,
there's a dirty little CrossFit gym somewhere
with a bunch of boxes in it getting overfilled with orders,
and you tell your parents you're gonna go there
and your dad's like,
mom and dad are like, are you sure?
Yeah, that's exactly what happened. I mean, kind of living
and you had everything kind of taken care of with the job you
had going into an unknown with with none of those things. And
I thought it was a great idea at the time. But you know, I'm
happy that they at least voice our concern and made me think
about it a little bit didn't deter me, but it at least made me pause.
Heidi Crum, Dear Katie, can I please work for you remotely?
I think Heidi asked me this every time.
We don't have remote jobs right now.
Well, no, no remote jobs.
OK, we love you, Katie and Bill.
Wow, they put your name first.
I always hear it is Bill and Katie.
you Katie and Bill. Wow, they put your name first. I always hear it is Bill and Katie. So you, you're there. And how
about how about Bill was Bill rough with your parents upon
entry? Was that was he? Was he did you when he met your
parents were like, where did this charming guy come from? Or
did he give him the the sign up like everyone else? He was
nicer to them than he was to me at first meeting.
But they're around us, they live less than a mile from us here in Columbus and we see
him almost every day.
So he's become a part of our family for sure.
I couldn't ask for a better set up.
I'm very much a family-oriented person and
Wouldn't want it any other way. Did your parents eventually move to Columbus?
They did. I think they've been here five or six years now. Wow, and that you're stoked about that. Love it. Yeah
Crazy and that gym still around but not at that location? That's still the same name?
So Transition, Graham and Brandon took over the gym from us, but we kept the affiliate.
That affiliate is still here at Rogue. It's our employee gym. So we still have that affiliate
today.
In 2009, you show up to the games. you're the defending champ, and you did the hill
run was your last event, right?
Yeah.
And why did you pull out of the after that?
Why did you pull out?
I could not feel my legs.
And I think I got cut.
I got cut.
But like at the top of that hill, that was one of the harder things after doing that
6k and then into that hill run and
You know, I didn't prepare. I don't remember you getting cut. I remembered as you pulled out you did get cut You know that I don't know. I don't know I don't know that for a fact
I think I would have if I didn't but like I got to the top and I
Had to take a cart back down. I could not walk a
Lot of people I remember a lot of people had to take the cart down. They were fucked up.
Oh my God, it was so rough.
But I think looking back,
I didn't prepare like I needed to.
Bill was my coach and pretty much as soon as we got engaged,
I just stopped listening to him
when he wanted to program for me.
It didn't work out very well.
If I didn't wanna do something,
I just told him I didn't wanna do something.
So, I take that's on me.
Like I, it's all on me 2009.
And what's funny is like that six K I hate running, you know, I'd had to do so much of
it with basketball and I just, that was six K at the time was just like, I couldn't believe
I was doing it.
And then I turned around and last week in Scotland, when we stayed, we did 10 miles
and like I've no problem.
And I just, I was actually thinking about the O nine games
of how much I hated that first run.
And then I go out there and do that.
And you know, it's just kind of full circle moment.
I actually saw that post of yours.
So you actually ran 10 miles in Scotland.
When's the last time you ran 10 miles?
I never run 10 miles.
I think the longest I've ever run is eight
miles. Well, that was just like, I think Tuesday or when we had
run, I think, five miles the first day we got out to where we
were staying. And then the second day, I think we did, you
know, four miles and a workout. And then that night, Bill's
like, I want to run 10 miles tomorrow. And Rob and I were
like, but we ended up running it with him.
So he's really into running.
He's got the stack of rocks over at the ranch.
That's wild.
Does he just run that by himself or does he usually drag you along?
I'll go along every once in a while, but it's usually by himself or whoever else is out
there. If you run a lap, you can put a rock on. but if you don't run a lap, you can't put a rock on
Wow
Um, that makes me glad because I saw that post I'm like man
Is she really just running ten milers all the time? No. Okay. Good. That makes me feel better about myself and
In quickly you got involved in
CrossFit media.
So quickly like you would be at the desk with like Miranda and Pat and Rory
and you started doing that.
And was that your first foray into that?
Yeah, outside of just doing interviews,
obviously for basketball, that was my first time
like really being at a desk or calling anything like that.
I really enjoyed it.
And it was fun.
The group of people we were with, it was a great time.
And that definitely was a growing experience for me.
I don't think any of us knew what we were doing
at the time, but we had a great team around us
helping us kind of get through those white water,
if you will.
What do you mean white water?
I think because we didn't know what we were doing, you know.
It's like, you don't know what you don't know.
So it's like you need someone to guide you through it.
Yeah, you guys were great.
I can picture you sitting at the desk in Carson, like up top outside.
That was awesome.
Yeah, that's probably one of the best setups is when we were up there on the top deck. And you said you've been doing the radio for the,
the name of the team is the Buckeyes?
Yep.
You've been doing that for five years now?
Yeah.
How did you get that gig?
So you were like, you talk into a mic
and you have someone and like, you're like,
she's running down the court, she does a back pass.
You do that?
No, so I have a play by play and he's great.
And he again, kind of leads me through it. I just get to add, you know, my two, so I have a play by play and he's great. And he again kind
of leads me through it. I just get to add you know, my two cents every every once in
a while. But they had asked and originally I said no, just with my schedule, I didn't
think I could pull it off. And I split the season with another woman for the color side
of it. And it works out I get 13 to 15 games a year. I get to travel to some cool cities.
I love the Big Ten cities.
And then I get to be around, you know, basketball and athletics,
which I really truly enjoy.
And do those people there know your role that you work at Rogue,
your role at Rogue?
Yeah, most of them.
Yeah, it's funny to hear you say you get to travel.
I mean, you could clearly travel anywhere you wanted.
And it's obviously a, it's a passion project
or you're doing it for a break or why are you doing that?
I mean, there's, well, one, it keeps me around the game.
I know, like I said, I really do miss playing the game.
Like, you know, I go out back every once in a while
and I, you know, I shoot, you know, just myself cause I miss it. But I think, you know, I go out back every once in a while, and I shoot just myself because I miss it.
But I think traveling is one thing.
But when you travel with a team, when
you're traveling with a group, and you're kind of going
toward that same goal, and I have this very small piece
because I'm just doing radio for the team,
obviously they got to do the heavy lifting.
But there's just that camaraderie
and having fun as an organization that you just don't
get.
Yeah, I could go to any of these cities, but you don't really get that piece of it, doing
that yourself.
Because for some people, that would be a dream job.
And I'm not saying that you don't dearly appreciate it, but for you, there must be like, I mean,
there's so little pressure on you
Right. Uh, yeah, I don't know. I always feel pressure
You know, they're counting us down as we go into our pregame and I'm always
Really nervous because you know you want you want to say the right thing and you it's like doing this interview right here you don't you don't want to get hung up on something but
For me, it's kind of a break outside of my
normal day to day and I can go and for those two and a half hours, I can completely be immersed in
this game of basketball where like nothing else, I'm not worried about anything else going on around
me. And you know, really in my day to day, I don't really have that luxury, you know, it's kind of,
it's whatever's coming at me in the moment. But this, this for me, I really, you
know, I enjoy being around the team. I think they have a great group of women. And they're
pretty damn good. So that makes it a little bit easier.
Yeah, that's cool. They are good. Yeah, they're good. They're ranked number 12 right now.
Clydesdale media Scott, what's up? Good morning. It's such a sense of pride to have Bill and
Katie and rogue here in Columbus, what they have done to revitalize downtown is amazing.
Thank you. What's happened downtown?
I think you know the area where we're at, we're about a half mile north of downtown. We're in between downtown Columbus and the campus at Ohio State, and I think the neighborhood that we were in, you know,
it was the lot we sat on sat vacant for
almost 35 years. Wow. It was an old Timken- sat vacant for almost 35 years.
It was an old Timken Bering site that they cleaned up
and just the neighborhood, you know,
as kind of cities go and downtowns go.
And anytime you put in, you know,
a building that has at the time,
we moved in with 300 people.
Now we're up to 800 people that,
that obviously you just kind of,
you take over a neighborhood
and hopefully we've done it the right way
and have hired within the neighborhood as well
as much as we can.
And we really enjoy being part of the city,
proud to be in Columbus.
And we could have went outside the outer belt,
but it just wouldn't have felt the same.
We really wanted to be a part of the downtown
and the city here in Columbus.
Hey, when you have 800 people work somewhere like stuff happens, right?
Like a coffee shop pops up and they're in the ecosystem or a deli.
Or do you see that happening?
Yeah, there hasn't been as much probably as we have liked.
But downtown is definitely pushing north toward campus.
And campus is definitely pushing south, which kind of benefits all of us.
But yeah, that's what you would like to see is that you have the sandwich shops
and a restaurant and coffee shops and things But yeah, that's what you would like to see is that you have the sandwich shops and a restaurant and
coffee shops and things like that that really people that work here,
our team members could just go out and kind of have a one-stop shop just in the neighborhood before they would have to go home.
So there's people who walk to work? Yeah. Oh, that's cool.
And what was the – so if that building was empty for 35 years, was it just like RVs and homeless
people like I'm just picturing where I lived in Oakland like, you know what I mean?
When there's not like that.
No, it's not like that.
No, I'm not.
I'm not gonna let you go any further.
It was not like that.
It was just literally vacant lot like there was no building on it.
They had knocked down the building.
It was an old brownfield site that they revitalized, spent a couple years doing.
And it was going to be Stone Brewery was looking at this site in Richmond, Virginia. And then
they ended up picking Richmond, Virginia. And within like two weeks of them doing that
is when we started looking for land to build on. So it just happened to be the right time
when this place came
available. And how close do you live to work? Less than 10 minutes. And is it a good spot? Do
you have traffic or like what's your like? A little bit a little bit of traffic in the morning
but not not like what you see you know in the bigger cities. So what I can plan about you know
somebody in LA would would laugh about. Does it snow there on campus?
Oh yeah, yes.
So you even have to do stuff like that not only do you have security but you got a you have a snow
plower there that plows your parking lot?
Yeah we have we have all the all of those things it's the Midwest you get all the seasons so
you know it was 30 degrees last week it's 55 degrees today and raining so it's we're in the
season of who knows what's gonna happen
the next day.
Yeah, those are crazy things that like,
I was just thinking that,
I mean, someone like me would never think of,
you have to have a parking lot that can hold vehicles
for 800 employees.
You have to have bathrooms that 800 people can take
their morning deuce in.
You have to have toilet paper.
It must be crazy.
You gotta have all the things.
You know, we're getting ready to expand.
So, you know, we went from four buildings to one
when we moved in here in 2017.
And then during COVID, everything exploded
because we were growing so fast
and we were back in five buildings.
Now we're in four
and we're actually gonna expand to the south of us.
We're trying to get back in one building.
So hopefully we'll start that this spring.
Hey, so you have a dude there who's just like in charge of
like just cleaning up bathrooms and spills and shit.
We have a whole team here that is in charge of that, yes.
So like you're just sitting in, he's sitting in his office
like clogged toilet and there's eight sector and he runs over
there with the plunger and shit.
They do way more than that.
But yes, there's multiple people in the building that will
take care of that.
Do you know the name of that position by any chance off the top of your head?
Our janitorial staff?
Yeah, janitorial staff.
Wow.
Head janitor at Rogue.
Even that sounds good.
As a former...
What happened to your money, dude?
Why is your money funny like that now?
You must be out of the country. What happened to your money dude? Why is your money funny like that now?
You must be out of the country. As a former SID, I don't know what that is, Sergeant and Staff...
Sports Information Director.
Oh, is that really what it is?
As a former Sports Information Director, I miss the travel and being with the teams. Thank you to you and Bill for having us in Scotland.
You have to say the next part so I can respond.
Oh, OH, I don't know what that is.
IO.
So if someone is a Buckeye fan, if you say OH, you respond with IO.
You could be anywhere in the world and that works.
I know you won't understand that, but as a Buckeye, I enjoy that.
Patrick knows everything.
Is Katie ready for a loss to IEU? Look at this, IEU. Absolutely not. I'm gonna be at the game.
It's gonna be a great game, noon game. There's a lot of controversy around it being a noon game but
we're ready for the Hoosiers. Tyler no all right. JR over Crash he's a little
bit of a basketball aficionado. You've ever, do you know JR Howell? Not well but I know
I listen to him often. Yeah he loves he's a basketball nut. Okay Annie worked at Abercrombie
just on just on a side note.
As a random fact, I'm not sure I needed to know.
What does Katie, I think it's with the C, think about Caitlin Clark?
She's amazing. She is up the level of sport for women's basketball and has brought, put a lot of people in seats and has done amazing things and she will continue
to do amazing things for the sport.
So Rogue Rose, do you remember the first product that you guys were making where you were like,
oh, we don't know if we should make that?
No, I mean, our first product was gymnastics rings that we still sell the metal rings,
you can travel around with them.
Then we got into squat stands, benches, and now we're kind of
into, you know, whatever you can think of, you know, we're trying to make.
Let me ask you this, and I don't remember exactly if I spoke to you or Bill, or
maybe at this conversation, I'm completely making up, but I think I
remember speaking to one of you guys about shoes at one point, years ago.
And would you guys ever make shoes? And I remember when you saying
Yeah, it's really weird. You started talking to me either you
were bill about manufacturing shoes in the US that there
really wasn't somewhere to make them that that kind of
manufacturing had already left the country. Like things like
that. I'm assuming now you guys have a bike. Yeah. And you have
a rower passion project the bike was have a bike. Yeah. And you have a rower.
Passion project, the bike list.
Oh, okay.
Good, I have some questions about bike.
Go ahead, tell me about the bike.
I'm so curious about the bike.
Well, it's not really, it was like,
it's just how, you know, I got into cycling a bit
and Bill and I were talking about it
and he's like, well, we should make a bike
and we wanted to make something that, you know, was unique
cause there's not a lot of US made bike manufacturers,
you know, and we
made it belt driven, finally got it up off the ground.
You know, we, I think we posted about it three and a half years ago and just started selling
them six months ago.
So it's been a long time coming.
But we'll see if we expand that line.
I don't, I don't know if we're going to do that anytime in the near future.
It's expensive to make stuff here in the States as you guys are seeing so
This this is the bike
Yep, how long did it take to bring it to fruition? Well, we paused it
So we I think we made the first prototype
Three and a half years ago and then pause the project just because we needed to get kind of everything our house in order here
and then
Started working with the designer. They're actually making it now
out on the west coast in California. And then, you know, it's I think it's a great bike. Belt
driven single speed. I would like to get into a geared bike, but we'll see where that goes.
And when you say passion project, do you mean that means that you look at the numbers and you're like, oh, that's not gonna make money, but we're gonna do it anyway. Is that what is that code for passion project?
Yeah, a little bit. I mean, it's something we really wanted to do. And then, you know, if you look at it, it's just, you know, it's an expensive piece. And it's expensive to make. And you're paying for the quality of the people putting the effort in to make the frame and things like that. But you know there's a lot of things you could do to change out the saddle, change out pedals,
change out the handlebars, things like that, make it unique to yourself. You could even change out
the belt for a different color belt. So there's a lot of things you can do with the bike. But it's
not going to be one of our you know primary products. I guess we'll put it that. You're not
going to all of a sudden have be the largest bike maker in the United States?
No.
Okay, why not put that in the game,
in the rogue invitational to get it some publicity,
to get eyeballs on it?
I don't think it was needed.
I think being in a new venue this year,
maybe if we were back in Texas, maybe we would have tried it,
but being in a new venue, being overseas, it was just not something that we
wanted to put into the fold this year.
Really? You don't feel pressure to do that? Like, hey, we made this. I mean, I don't think
anyone would frown upon it. It's your event. It's your bike. It's like...
Oh, there's always opinions about programming. Come on now.
That's true. That said, no, we never feel pressure to put a product that we're making into an
event.
We would rather program the event to make sure the programming is right for the athletes
than make it primary around a product.
It's never based around a product.
You could even have since it was like had kind of a strong man motif this year, you
could have made it so that they didn't even ride the bike
They just carried it and ran with it
That's it
No, you're not allowed to program anymore
Hey when you came on the show today, you probably thought they were gonna it was gonna be an easy show
Just talking about like torn Achilles and stuff, huh? Yeah
Let's get into it. We're like 40 minutes into this thing
How are you on time? I'm good
Judy Reed Katie, my son is a B How are you on time? I'm good.
Judy Reid, Katie, my son is a Buckeye
on the swim and dive team.
Go Bucs.
Oh, that's cool, Judy.
Go Bucs.
No, here we go.
People are getting comfortable with you.
Here come the demands.
Katie, please start including the Allen wrench
with the replacement stainless steel cables
for the SR2 handles.
What's the SR2 handle?
Jump rope. Oh, I have two unusable ones because no wrench. stainless steel cables for the SR2 handles. What's the SR2 handle?
Jump rope.
Oh, I have two unusable ones cause no wrench.
All right, email me or email the team
and we'll take care of you.
I'm sorry.
This is a very demanding crowd.
Okay, so you've been doing that for four or five years
and doing the commentating for the team,
has that gotten any more eyeballs on you or gotten any chance you would ever do that for the WNBA?
Oh, I don't have, like, I can make it work with a schedule now. I couldn't do it full-time,
so I really appreciate that I can split the season with someone else. But to make it a full-time job,
not as long as I'm here at Rogue.
Have you had opportunity?
Have people approached you?
No, I've had some opportunities to do some TV stuff.
But again, just with the schedule,
I'm comfortable where I am.
I really wanna put my heart and soul into Rogue
and then having 15 you know, 15 times
a year where I can go and play around and be around basketball is great for me.
And when you're at work, do you see Bill a lot?
Like if you're there for, if you get there at five, what time will you go home today?
Probably six or six thirty.
In those 12 hours you're there, will you see Bill?
It depends on the day. What's funny is our offices are right next to each other and there are days that I do Probably six or six thirty. In those twelve hours you're there, will you see Bill?
Depends on the day.
What's funny is our offices are right next to each other and there are days that I do
not see him and there are days that I see him every ten minutes.
Just depends on the meeting schedules and what we have going on individually.
Okay, here's something really personal I'm going to ask you.
Oh God.
Do you guys share a calendar?
No.
No? No. So he doesn't know or you don't know.
No, we don't ride to work together and we don't share a calendar.
And and what if do you know what he's doing? Like what do you guys have a set time that you debrief
every day? So you guys both the heads of the company know or is it just over dinner? Are you like dude someone called and said our tube was not working or on the new
bike or as you stick a steak in your mouth? I mean that that's like an ongoing
conversation pretty much all the time during the day depending on what's going
on just chats or whatever but yeah don't you know it's probably not healthy but
we do you know every night at at dinner work inevitably comes up.
It kind of never goes away, but that's our choice, right?
We're choosing to do that.
And if we both didn't enjoy it, then we, you know, we wouldn't do it.
Yeah.
It's your baby.
It's your love.
You guys are stoked.
You have that.
Yeah.
What an awesome thing.
Okay.
And you say don't, yeah, driving to work would be that, that's like my time of
peace, you know, I get 20 minutes a day then just to myself. Okay. And you don't yeah, driving to work would be that. That's like my time of peace. Yes. You know, I get 20 minutes
a day then just to myself.
Yeah, totally. Yeah, I wouldn't. That makes total sense. Um,
Katie thoughts on juju. And is it crazy to have all the West
Coast teams in the Big 10? You're gonna have to explain
that to me before you answer that.
juju. What's Watkins arguably the best player in the country right now.
Boy or girl?
Sophomore girl at USC.
We actually get to play them.
I have the West Coast Swing, so I get to see her at USC and UCLA this year.
I do think it's crazy.
I think the conference realignment for the Big Ten and really all
the conferences is really wild.
So just travel schedules alone for the athletes I think is quite crazy.
This is totally off subject here, but what basketball has gone through some innovations,
right?
I mean, I don't know a lot about it, but like with Steph Curry a few years back, shooting
from further away, is basketball, is there room for like better
and better players and innovation there?
I think, I don't know if shooting farther,
I mean, I just think that's a part of the game.
Athletes are getting stronger, their range is getting,
you know, far away.
I never even thought of that.
Is that what's going on with Steph Curry?
It's because people got, I always just thought it was
because it's harder to shoot from far away.
You're also saying just people are getting longer. I think it's both
I do think it's really hard like what what Steph does is there's a reason why Steph Curry is Steph Curry
It's because he's he works really hard at what he does and it's quite impressive
Obviously to see where he can shoot from and the accuracy that he has
But I think you're seeing more guys being able to do that at this point just not with the efficiency that he has
Hey, so, God, I never even thought about that, the strength.
Why is Kaitlyn Clark so good, you think?
She's got it all.
She puts the speed together.
She's got the range.
I mean, if you look at her range, you know,
we haven't seen a women's player that has the range of someone similar.
I'm not comparing her to Steph, but, you know,
that can shoot
with the accuracy that she does from that range for a female is really impressive.
Now that you've been doing this for four or five years, any products pop into your head
while you're, are you in that space a lot? Like you'll be there and you're putting your
headset on and you look at like their rack that holds the basketballs
and you're like, oh man, we could do that better
or we need a rogue pump or are there things that...
I think I do that in everyday life.
It's not really just because of basketball.
You know, if I look at it, I'm going into a university.
But I did this when I played too.
You're checking out their weight room.
What do they have?
How are they using it?
You know, how are they training?
I think it's just all really interesting
to see the differences that you see
university by university or coach by coach.
And I think you'd say the same thing
about walking into a CrossFit affiliate,
you know, what is different?
You know, I'm traveling a ton,
so I'm trying to go into as many gyms as I can
in a given city where I'm at,
and how are they different?
How are they using this stuff?
How is it holding up to how they're using it? And so the mind is always turning with that. But that's also
what makes it interesting. I don't have to just come in here every day and you know stare at
spreadsheets and there are people that love doing that. I'm just not one of them. You know, I have
to do it for my job but I'd rather be out in the field and see how the equipment is holding up
field and and see how the equipment is holding up to how it's being used.
It really is a unique situation.
You probably take it for granted, but most people don't know what's capable with manufacturing or creating things or, you know, changing the surface of the
material on the ball or the way the rack is hanging on.
And so when you go out into the world, you see the world differently than other
people, and that's change over time. And so when you go out into the world, you see the world differently than other people.
And that's changed over time.
But I mean, you have that capability to be like, okay, that can be changed.
And I know a place that can make that and change that.
And other people don't even think like that because they don't even know they can think
like that.
Yeah.
And you also learn a lot.
You learn different ways that people are using, you know, a piece of equipment
that like you didn't even think of, right?
Maybe you can make it better for them.
Or you see someone using something that's like unsafe
and you like, I end up going and telling them like,
hey, I wouldn't use it this way.
But like, that's why some of our designs
don't have certain things because we know that, you know,
if you put that in, you know, a mass, you know, a gym with,
it's gonna have a lot of users through it
that they just shouldn't do that. Cause you know, sometimes people don't make the
right decision on how they should use equipment. When you're, when you're out in the real world
and you go to these places, um, are, are, are, do people know who you are or no, they don't?
Depends. It depends on where I go, but a lot of times I won't say anything and I just want to
I want to kind of blend in so that they don't act a different way. Like if I go into a class, I just
want to go and be a part of the class and see how they train and I don't want it to change just
because someone else has walked in the gym. More I was thinking about when you go on the road, like like for instance,
a president of university could give two shits about fucking meeting you as the basketball
commentator but if they're like, hey, the owner of fucking rogues up there, that's like,
oh, I'm fucking gonna make a trip up there and say hi to her.
Yeah, I don't know about a president of the university, but there's definitely a met a lot of people that are definitely know me from Rogue more than than playing just because they haven't been, you know, I'm old at this point.
So I'm graduating in 2005. There's a handful of people that still know me from my playing days, but more people now just from Rogue and and and that type of stuff. I don't mean, listen, Katie, you're not playing along with this.
When you walk into the room, when you walk into a room, there's people whispering like,
hey, that girl over there, that's the owner of Rogue.
Like people are whispering, okay, fine.
I don't think so.
Yeah, I'm telling you, they are.
Pointless basketball, Jara Howell, pointless basketball isn't going anywhere.
However, 33 point attempts a game isn't going to get,
keep fans excited about watching many missed the physicality.
What's that mean, pointless basketball?
Positionless.
Oh, thank you.
Shit, I'm glad one of us can read.
Positionless, thank you.
JR's probably like slapping his head, you jackass.
Going to where there's no like point guard and center and things like that, I agree with you, JR, for sure. Bring back the bad boys in that area of 90s NBA. That said, you know,
Steph's one of my favorite players of all time, but I agree with you that shooting 33-point games
isn't going to keep people in the stands. I like it.
I mean, I don't I guess I don't watch basketball.
So my opinion doesn't matter.
Bernie Gannon, Katie, a seven on his own.
Seven is almost synonymous with bike ish fitness.
Oh, could he be a rogue athlete for that new bike?
He's probably cheaper to sponsor than Rich Froney.
Oh, there you go.
I think he's probably more expensive.
I don't I don't go. I don't go on bikes that actually
go anywhere anymore. Those days are over. You training every day? Six days a week, usually.
Hard for you to take a day off? It is actually because it's kind of my escape. It's good stress relief. I enjoy moving. But yeah, usually take Mondays off
Um, how many uh unanswered texts do you have on your phone right now?
Oh, not that many. I don't like it when there's a red bubble
No shit. No, I don't at all. So so you don't let it get like um
um, god someone's calling me on whatsapp makes me want to erase the app so
Um, um, God, someone's calling me on WhatsApp. It makes me want to erase the app.
So what do you do?
What do you do if there's a text and you don't want to, like, you have nothing to say,
you just open it, read it, and then go on.
Yep.
That's it.
Yeah.
When did you become comfortable doing that?
When, like, when did, do you remember when it's like, Hey, there's just too much.
I have to be, I'm not being a bitch.
I just can't respond to everything.
It's, it's been a few years, but yeah, it's definitely took some time to get used to.
Yeah. It's weird, right?
Yeah. How many times?
It makes me uneasy, but at some points there's, there's so much coming in, but I
try to do that with my email too.
I try to keep it clean in inbox every day.
Wow.
Um, uh, um, do you have, uh, people pinned at the top? Like, do you have, do you know how to, you don't, you don't a people pinned at the top?
Like you have, do you know how to, you don't, you don't have bill pinned at
the, you don't have like,
like whoever's, whoever's last in is the person at the top.
You don't get your dad pinned up there.
Your mom, you know how to pin them.
Yeah.
Let me show you.
You do.
Okay.
Wow.
Wow.
Okay.
And what about, um, uh, people who text you and you feel like you want to give them a good response, but you don't have time to, you go back and mark unread?
No, I just remember that I need to go back and do it. It might take me a few days, but I get back to them.
Wow. All right. You're going to go to Scotland or you go to Scotland.
This is the first year you guys took rogue invitation out of the country.
Yes. And you get over there and smooth sailing, everything good.
All the equipment, everything show up on time.
Yeah, I mean, I think that was one of the biggest stressors was we came right out of the games
and within two weeks we had to ship 15 containers
and get them on the water. So you know having programed programming at least outlined out so
we knew what to send and then having the team do 15 containers in one week you know that was quite
the feat and then cross your fingers that everybody everything shows up in time. We
shipped them a couple weeks early just to make sure that they would get there.
And when we showed up, you know, the Sunday before the event, everything miraculously was there.
And a container is a Connix box like the ones we see on the back of trucks on Highway 5? Yeah, a 40-foot container. And then we also shipped five semis from Rogue Europe as well.
So it was a lot of gear. Five semis from where? Rogue Europe in Belgium.
Oh, okay.
And how do those get there?
Don't they?
They go on a boat from the Netherlands I think and then they went over and then drove up
yeah.
Do they actually drive the semi onto the boat?
I believe so yes.
They don't take... wow.
And do you guys have software
that's like packs the Conic Box for you?
No. No.
It was, we put all 15 containers and 15 doors,
and then just one by one went through
to see how they would fit
and make sure they weren't overweight.
I mean, Zeus alone was over six containers.
We had to put it over six containers
just to make sure we weren't overweight on those
and all the flooring
and the turf.
If I want Zeus for my house, how much is Zeus?
There is no price for it. No way.
It's lost it can't be it's it's yeah, it's it's out of control.
And it requires it's a it's a it kind of has a life of its own.
Yeah.
Does Zeus have a manager at Rogue?
No, it doesn't.
No.
Wow.
We add to it, we take away from it, but it's kind of the staple at this point.
It really fills up the arena and you can do so much with it outside of like a 15 foot
rig or something like that.
It's definitely the staple piece. So when you
know you're gonna do this you have a you know all the workouts someone has to go
through and make them some massive equipment list and then all the
contingent pieces of equipment like the extra ropes or if something breaks or
the extra bolts and all that shit and the extra floor I'm sure there's a
contingent right like a 10% contingent. Oh yeah we definitely we had people travel over
with stuff in bags so So some of the stuff
Just to make sure we had enough of it. We we sent on the last flight over
and
Do you just keep filling box?
So you don't even know it's gonna be 15 boxes or by now you kind of do or do you just start?
I mean we we had an idea that that's what it be like, or that that's how many we would need.
But I didn't, I didn't actually think we would fill up all 15. But we did.
And then those sit on campus at Rogue, and then a truck comes and gets them,
takes them where? To the Eastern Steet Board?
Yeah, they I think they went out of Norfolk.
That's Virginia? Yep.
And then they go on a boat and then since you sent them two weeks early, you have to
pay someone to store them over there?
That's extra?
Yeah, they say that we stored them in Edinburgh and then they just trucked them up when we
were ready for them that Sunday.
And when does one of your staff first get eyes on them when they pull up to the festivity
in Scotland? Yeah, I think we first put eyes on them.
I think I got there Thursday morning, maybe.
So saw them then and then we had our first staff there Thursday night and Friday.
So just making sure we had all 15 and then we didn't start unloading until Sunday.
Just starting to QC and make sure we had everything.
I think we had over 2000 line items that we had to make sure that were on site for the
competition.
And you said when you came on the show that it was the best staff you'd ever worked with,
event staff you'd worked with, like the people on the ground.
What's the name of the place you were at?
P&J Arena.
P&J Arena.
Hands down.
I mean, going through, like, and I said that early on but going through the weekend hands down the best event staff
The best venue we've ever worked with
What is that? What does that look like? Give me an example of something like you say and then they jump
Well, no, no, not that at all. It was you know asking if we could do certain things
You know them telling us how they've done
different things and just their knowledge of the venue from front to back, whether that's for broadcast
or operationally, where the food's gonna go,
things like that, just across the board,
what they could do for us.
And they felt like part of our team.
It wasn't us versus them.
And a lot of times you go into these venues
and because they're so used to doing show after show
after show, it just, it feels like you versus them
instead of one team.
And so when you can act as one team together, the stuff that you can do is, is kind of amazing.
And in the amount of time that you can get it done in, you know, we unloaded 15 containers
in one day, built Zeus the next day, and then we were off and running and their event staff
was, was very helpful in that.
It sounds like they give a fuck. Yeah, absolutely.
And they loved the event. They had never seen anything like it.
I mean, they were just blown away.
Yeah, no one ever sees anything like it.
It looked crazy online too.
It looked amazing.
Hey, and was that the largest attendance of Rogue Invitational?
Yeah, I think so. I think the first one we had here
was probably a close second,
but the fans were amazing.
We were sold out all three days.
I thought maybe on Sunday
with not having a strong man and woman
that we would lose some of the crowd.
We definitely didn't, which was really cool.
They were into it the whole weekend.
You know, what we did kind of with the in-house show
and how they, you know,
and you guys didn't see that on the broadcast,
but how interactive it was in between events
was really cool.
Hey, that's huge, right?
Because no matter how good the event is,
if no one's there to watch it, it didn't happen.
You must have been stoked that it was packed.
Really stoked.
They were all super nice and really into it.
And for the athletes, I just think
they were kind of close to the floor,
even though you couldn't really tell that and how it looked.
Just being so kind of on top of them and into each event,
whether event one or event nine, whatever that was,
they were into it.
And I think for an athlete, for the spectator experience,
for anybody on staff that was there, just an amazing experience all around.
How many people were you responsible for to fly there and out?
I think we flew in, you know, 65 to 70 people. And then obviously we had 300
volunteers. So they all fall under us, even though we, you know, they didn't
come in with our crew. So, you know, upwards of 500 people.
So you guys have a little travel agency at Rogue too?
Yeah.
A travel department. Crazy. And are there, do you hear stuff like, oh, so and so, Janet,
Janet J, she's asking if on the way home she can stop in Belgium to visit
her grandmother she wants her ticket moved you get that shit.
Yeah, I mean we try to deal with those as they come in, but we want people to have a
good experience to write that we have to.
Oh, that I hate those people.
Fuck you.
You're right.
I know.
No, I'm not too nice.
I am nice.
I'm on but we want people to have a good experience.
We had a handful of people that had never been outside the states, you know, and what
the anxiety that comes with that or the excitement, you want to be able to provide that, you know,
and for people to have a good experience. So I'm all about it.
And all the strong men need king-size beds?
Yeah, most of them.
All the strong men and strong women? Yeah. You following the
drama with Luke Stoltzman?
The competition drama? No, that's all.
Okay. It's tied for second place in strongman, right?
Yeah.
Yeah, that's that's cool. Yeah, there's some fun stuff. I'll
send you some links afterwards. You can check you can you can
check it. I know you don't have a lot of time for the drama. Okay. There was that event where the
girls jumped over and the boys jumped over that round thing. And in that first heat,
we saw Danielle Brandon, just her explosive athleticism. She was touching go back and forth back and forth and then Henrik was it Henrik? Yep
hurt his
Achilles doing that the rebounding I guess I mean, I don't even know but that just from you know
Being a shit talker from the outside and watching
and then and then we saw
Gabby get hurt my impression
Well, so what was your walk me through that and then but my impression was I thought that someone reported to us that Gabby get hurt. My impression was, I thought that someone reported to us that Gabby was
hurt going into that event.
I had not hurt that.
Okay. Everyone told me I was wrong, so maybe you guys are right.
I'll start here. Look, everything that happens at the event, it's my event, it's our event,
we own. We have safety protocols that we look at
at each event, if something's happening in the event,
we'll deal with it in the moment.
We tested this event, I tested it multiple times.
I tested it in Columbus, I actually tested it in Scotland.
We didn't see what we were seeing from the athletes
with the rebounding.
I do think, you know, Danielle,
she's so athletic and so quick.
You know, she really started pushing the pace and the other athletes saw that and
started to do that.
And unfortunately, you know, you had Gabby first and then, you know,
Henrik and as soon as Henrik happened, you know, we got together, our core team.
Oh, Gabby was first?
It happened to Gabby first?
Yes.
Oh, okay.
And so then we decided that we were going to make the change.
It was absolutely the right call.
We wanted to keep the integrity of the event, meaning we didn't want to change
it to a movement that would have changed kind of the course of what we thought
that that event would be.
So adding the burpee there and the crazy part is, you know, those athletes were
maybe four to five seconds off what they were doing before, which is just
incredible with their athleticism.
But making that change in the moment
was absolutely the right call.
We made the decision quickly.
We talked to the athletes quickly as well.
Everybody was on board with the change, and we moved forward.
And so definitely something that we'll continue to look at
and look at going into next year as well.
But very, very, very unfortunate for Gabby and
Henrik for sure.
It's a so so you were we started the show you were playing basketball and
you pivoted and you broke your foot. Yeah. And that's like at the highest
level that shit's gonna happen. Right? tons of wear and tear tons of explosive
movements. Everything needs to be faster, stronger, quicker, more responsive. happen right tons of wear and tear tons of explosive movements everything needs
to be faster stronger quicker more responsive at what point like was it
never an option okay so two people got injured like hey man this is a really
demanding was there any party that's like no fuck it this is a really
demanding movement and I mean obviously you don't want anyone to get hurt that I mean it sucks especially that that injury but like you can't you can't um like is any party like
no guys you got to be able to do this look I think in sport there's always inherent risk
to doing something like that and yes I broke my foot turning and pivoting, the most simple thing that you can do on a basketball court outside of walking. But we made the decision because they
were, you know, they had, we didn't intend for them to do what they were doing. And we did think for
the safety of the rest of the athletes, it was the right call. And at any point, like we went
through safety protocols before the event happened, during the event,
every night in our after action.
And it's something that we are gonna review
and continue to review going forward.
But at the end of the day, yeah,
there's going to be injury in sport,
no matter the sport you're in.
I don't remember what year it was,
but I was thinking about this the other day.
I don't know if it was 08, 09, 10,
but I was at, I think I was at Lisa this the other day. I don't know if it was 08 09 10, but I was at uh,
Is that it where I think I was at Lisa raised Jim
machine Colorado and
Peter edged was there competing maybe speeler was there
But anyway, these people were doing like 50
It was like semi finals or regionals or sectionals and these people were doing 50 jumps in a row to 24 inch boxes
Rebounding like crazy.
I mean, do you think that,
and I feel like some of the boys that I hang out with
think that there shouldn't be any rebounding in CrossFit.
Do you have any strong opinions like that?
Like that there shouldn't be any,
you should force the athletes to step down.
I don't know if I have a strong opinion one way or the other.
I think, you know, if I look at our position,
it's to make the event as safe as possible
and to make sure that we've gone through all the protocols and testing that we need to.
You know, but at the end of the day, you want to be able to do explosive movements and you're
not going to be able to take all of that away.
Can things be safer?
Absolutely.
But I think we just need to look at it event by event. I wouldn't say there's an absolute either way
Lazar Lazar dies at the CrossFit Games the event is the integrity of the event is
My words not yours compromised in terms of the title fittest on earth
yours compromised in terms of the title fittest on earth people questioning you know not not on the woman side but on the men's side with James Sprague and then obviously we didn't
get to see Laura compete against Tia and now rogue happens and you have all of these people
back together and you know people are like well there you go this this is the fittest
does any part of you see no does that make you uncomfortable?
Does any part of you see that that is a not that you guys are taking advantage of it?
It's just it's just things are unfolding. Does any part of you?
See that is true or
You know, I was shaking my head there because I truly feel that but you've heard us say that since 2019
We're not trying to find the fittest, you know, this is the roguevitational. We invite, you know, obviously we use the point system this year,
but the ability to invite who we would like to see at the event and who we think is going to put on,
you know, the best competitive event, but also our programming as well. We're not trying to find the
fittest. That is the CrossFit Games and they've done a very good job of that. Ours is very different
where we just want people to come and compete and have a good good job of that. Ours is very different where we just
want people to come and compete and have a good time and at the end of the day the people on the
podium deserve to be at the top of the podium but they we're not going to take any any title that
someone wants to try to tell us that we need to have. Okay but what about when you and Bill
are just like afterwards sitting down eating a steak?
Are you like, holy shit, man, we may have to fill this void next year. We may have to add three
events and change up the programming. Like, we've stepped into the space. Like, well, you're already
in the space. People are always going to just talk about it anyway. But, as you see as you see CrossFit evolve, do you see yourself maybe
filling that space? I think that, you know, we're a unique event. And I think that we are
we're in this space and, you know, going over to the UK this year and involving that European crowd
as well. And it was just an amazing event,
but I don't, there's no need to fill the space.
Like we're already a part of the space
and we've been a part of the space.
And I think that we can get bigger and better every year.
And as long as we do that, then we're kind of firm-footed
with where we feel we're at.
But you're right, people are always gonna talk about it, but that's right. Like we have to be comfortable with where we're at. But you're right, people are always gonna talk about it,
but that's right, we have to be comfortable
with where we're at.
And the event that we're putting on,
and we have a great team,
we think that we can put together a really good team,
that we put together a good event
and take care of the weekend.
And that's, if the athletes show up
and they do their job and they compete, which they did,
I mean, it was an amazing event to watch these guys
go out there and crush these workouts.
That's what matters, right?
And we can pick apart programming
and willing to have any of those conversations
or how the event, the broadcast.
And I think that's all fair because that's competition.
I think if you look at Monday night football,
we're gonna have a lot of opinions on the teams
and the players and the broadcasts and things like that.
And that's what makes sports sport.
You know, I think it's a great environment to be in.
And, you know, for the time for these athletes,
like they enjoyed it, they worked their ass off. And great environment to be in. And you know, for the time for these athletes, like they enjoyed it.
They worked their ass off.
And at the end of the day, you know, we started out talking about how exhausted we
were, you know, the team was at the end of the weekend, but it was all worth it.
You know, all that work was worth it to watch these guys go out there
and kick ass all weekend long.

What about this as an idea?
After nine events, you crown the Rogue Invitational winner.
And then there's one more day with three more events that rounds it off to whatever it takes to claim the fittest.
And then you guys claim the fittest too. Like just to give the CrossFit Games a year a break for one year.
I don't I think that it doesn't need to be that I think that nine events was enough three days
It doesn't need to be yeah
Just spitballing some ideas now that I have your attention just I mean I don't like those out
They were they were tired at the end of Sunday, you know, I think another day another day of those of events that that was
That would have been tough. Hey
Here's the truth.
If for some reason CrossFit went away, which I don't think by any
means it is or I'm just saying in an imaginary just an imaginary
world, let's say like your event would be the would be the
crowning of the fittest person on the planet.
Like whether you wanted it to be or not, that's what people
would say.
I think okay.
Well, that's like we're not that's we're not saying that it like, I can't, we can't control what
everyone else is going to say or what other people are going to say.
Just like the decathlon.
Remember the decathlon.
But that's not our intention, right?
Right.
Just before, before there was CrossFit, it used to be whoever won the Ironman or whoever
won the decathlon was the fittest in the world.
Now everyone knows it's the CrossFit Games.
I'm just saying if the CrossFit Games wasn't there, no one would go back to the fucking
decathlon or the Ironman. They would be like, uh, it's the rogue invitational. I'm just saying if the CrossFit Games wasn't there, no one would go back to the fucking decathlon or the Ironman. They would be like
It's the rogue invitational. I'm just saying yeah as someone who's on the pulse and knows everything. I'm just I'm sharing that with you
What happened with free that's free consulting that's just a little taste if you want to hire me as a consultant
Hey, what happened with the prize money? I heard all this story that
Because of the election Bitcoin skyrocketed in the sky the prize money? I heard all this story that because of the election, Bitcoin skyrocketed and the prize
money for rogue skyrocketed.
What happened?
How does that work?
I think Bitcoin is still going up, isn't it?
Isn't Bitcoin still going up?
Yeah.
So I didn't look at your prize money.
I don't know how that works.
Can you roughly explain it to me?
So our prize purse, we put in a base amount and then throughout the year we have things
that go into it from royalties from an inventational t-shirt, go-rock shoes, Bitcoin.
So whatever Bitcoin's at, whatever we bought it at, then they get the, if it grows in price,
then they get the balance of that.
And then we lock it basically the day before the event starts.
So you guys put in a big chunk of cash and then fan support of purchases percentages go to the prize money and then just as well as a portion of tickets. So you know obviously putting people in
seats that went to the prize purse as well and that's the whole goal is to raise the prize purse
up so these guys you know can can make a living. And then, so there's the economy that the fans control and then, and then
there's the economy behind Bitcoin.
Whose idea was that?
That's great.
Bitcoin seems so like, is Bitcoin fringe?
Is it weird?
Is it like you believe you're-
I think, I think at the time, I mean, we've done that since the first one.
That was Bill's idea.
I think it's been a great idea.
I think you have people that take the payout in Bitcoin.
I think the last couple of years, I don't think anyone's taken it. They've taken all in cash, which is fine
But yeah, I mean it obviously contributes a lot But you know with everything going on in the world like that's something we don't control
We just want to make sure it doesn't go below a certain amount and we were able to take care of the athletes
But it definitely definitely helped out the payouts for them this year
Do you or Bill either of you think the earth is flat?
No, so, no.
Okay, I mean, when I think of Bitcoin,
I think of like people who have Bitcoin,
they think the earth is flat, like they're fringe people.
I don't, it's becoming less and less fringe, I think.
Less fringe, all right.
I mean, even I have some Bitcoin,
I don't think the earth this flat. So Just checking
You never know wouldn't that be great if on this podcast you were like, dude, everyone knows it's flat
I would have taken a different spin, but we'll say on we'll stay on the event for now
Next year. Oh, do you have a space heater in your office? No, no, you know
Okay, does it sound like it? No, I just, when I think of women, I think that they have space heaters in their office.
We're gonna fight. Are you calling me old and a woman?
No, I'm just calling you a woman. I'm in the market for a space heater.
I want to get a space heater because I'm getting a little old.
Like I get a little cold. But then I was like, oh, women probably have space heaters their offices I'm I do not have a space heater and I will not have a space heater in here. So
All right
So so next year rogue will be at?
Scotland again, you think I think we hope so. Yeah, I think I think that's what it looks like but we'll see what happens
You know, I thought the like I said, the crowd was amazing. I think the just the venue alone I think we'd like to be there at least another year, but we'll see what happens. You know, I thought the like I said, the crowd was amazing. I think that just the venue alone,
I think we'd like to be there at least another year,
but we'll see how it works.
Trying to work some of the stuff out.
Hopefully we'll know soon.
There are rumors that tomorrow
there's going to be a big announcement from CrossFit
in regards to the game season.
And I'm sure that they tell you ahead of time.
Could you, is that true?
Have I ever told you anything that I knew no and you dude you had a great poker face. I was just staring I locked right
Yeah, you had a great poker face all right, hey, thank you so much
I'm glad you came on
You were a good sport you went along with it. was actually, I was sitting there last night with my wife.
I'm like, man, I don't, I don't get Katie on very often.
I don't want to like waste it on like talking about someone's, uh, tendon snapping.
So my wife, like, you know, that's the thing about, you know, we, we, we could talk about
whatever you want to talk about.
I told you during the event, we're not going to shy away from anything.
Yeah, you did. And I really appreciate that. It just doesn't, to be on, well, so what Katie's referring to is this, I asked Katie ahead of time, I said, Hey,
can you come on at night? And she said, yeah,
I'm going to do my best to come on at night.
And then the second day I didn't send her a link and she's like, yo,
what the fuck? And I said, Hey, I was trying to give you space. She's like,
you don't get to give me space. I'll face everything head on.
The truth is, it just doesn't. I mean, my take is that people hurt themselves. And I know you guys are good people. And I know you take care of people. And I'm sure you weren't like just didn't
have a dump truck, shove her in the back and throw her away. I'm sure like she got a cab to
the airport and had the best doctors look at it there And I know you guys take care of people. Um
so I
mean
Does anyone want to
Persecute if you have a question you want to persecute Katie or something?
Let me know but I don't I don't really have a I you said
You can you can we can talk about it. That's what I mean
I don't want people to think that that I'm shy away from anything. we can talk about it. That's what I mean. I don't want people to think that
I'm shying away from anything. We can talk about any topic. I'll tell you if I want to talk about
it or not, you know that from knowing me for so long. But I think anything's fair game, you know?
But at the end of the day, you know, it was a great event. These athletes kicked ass. I'll continue
to say that because they showed up. They pushed themselves to limits. You know, we, you know, I was a little aggressive on a couple of the, even
though we tested, I was a little aggressive on some of the time caps, but it also showed
that some of these athletes are really fit. The people that did finish under the time
cap for all the workouts. And so, you know, back to the drawing board for that and we
can look at that for next year. But, you know, I think as
we get through the next two weeks, and we go through our
after actions, we're going to come out of it with a better
event for next year.
Is are you ever gonna let Bill come on the show?
I don't know if you have you ever asked Bill to come on the
show? I have asked Bill to come on. I'm gonna I'm not gonna
sway him.
I'm gonna ask him again here soon. I was actually thinking about that this morning in the
shower. I was like, should I, should I thank, tell Katie to thank Bill for letting her come on,
make the sexist remark, or should I reverse it and say, Hey, when is Katie going to let Bill
come on the show? Exactly. Well, thank him for letting me take a an hour and 20 out of my my morning meetings today for you
Hey, I appreciate it
And talk to you sooner. See you soon. Yeah. Thanks for having me on. All right
Thank you. Have a good day. Yep
Katie Henninger
Just like that
Just like that
Patrick Clark, uh, Gabby Magawa had nothing but great things to say about how she was treated and was upset. She couldn't finish it
Yeah, they're awesome
They probably gave her the best ice
After injury the best ice after her injury. The best ice!
Oh shit, I had one more question for her I wanted to ask.
Damn it. Wow. Wow, Sentinel Training was one of the sponsors.
Taylor had to send 500 bucks of his own money over to Ariel.
Just looking at the communication.
All right, no space either for her. the communication.
All right, no space heater for, I thought for sure she'd have a space heater. No space heater for Katie.
I have an old space heater. It's in storage. I don't know if I want to get it out. By storage I just mean like at my house, not like storage, storage.
All right, I have a story I wanted to tell you guys. You guys ready? So two
days ago, the boys like, hey, we're gonna go in the backyard and shoot BB guns. I'm
like, okay. And they're like, hey, you know how you don't like our stuffed
animals? I said, yeah. And they're like, we, you know how you don't like our stuffed animals? I said, yeah. And they're like, well, we're going to take our stuffed animals in the backyard and shoot
them.
I said, awesome.
And then throw them away.
They said, yeah, because they got just, it was just like dumb stuffed animals.
Like one teddy bear is cool, but not like, they have like carnival, cheap carnival gross
stuffed animal shit.
You know what I mean?
Like just like something that's just like a round blob with eyes on it
And I always when they bring that shit home or someone gives us that stuff
I just think of that shit off gases and is bad for my kids
So the three boys they said they there's a table there's like this card table in my backyard kind of this but sturdier
They put their guns on and they have their BBs and then they shoot away from the house
Into the into the backyard where the fruit trees are and they and they're shooting stuffed animals
Yeah, yeah exactly it's a 50 cent stuffed animal that costs 60 to win exactly
And so
They they put the stuffed animals where where targets are, because this is like a normal
like shooting range area for us in my backyard.
And so they're 50 feet from where the kids are standing.
They're pretty far, maybe further, 60 feet.
And they're shooting the stuffed animals.
And there's this one stuffed animal they have that has these big, it's an owl and it has
these huge, big plastic eyes.
And it's like off to the side. So I'm like, Hey guys, stop shooting. And I bring that stuffed animal and I put it in the center. I'm like, Hey dude, wouldn't, doesn't it look fun shooting the eyes
on the owl? And they're like, Oh yeah, that's cool. That's cool. So they start shooting the eyes on
the owl. And so I go inside and I'm hanging out with my wife and I hear this like I
Actually didn't I didn't it didn't I heard it but it didn't register it registered to my wife my wife goes
Oh something just hit the kitchen window
So I walk over to the kitchen window and there's a fucking hole in it in the kitchen window
So I walk out there and I go hey which one of you shot the kitchen window. So I walk out there and I go, hey, which one of you shot the kitchen window?
They're like, we didn't shoot the kitchen window.
And then I look down the target range, the shooting range, and they've moved the stuffed animals
to 25 feet away.
I'm like, hey, fuck nuts. They're like, what? I'm like, hey, fuck nuts.
They're like, what?
I'm like, you guys moved it closer.
They're like, yeah, I'm like a BB just fucking bounced off and broke the kitchen window.
They're like, oh, we're so sorry.
We're so sorry.
I'm like, all right.
So I go move those back far away to where they were.
Yeah.
Ricochet.
Ricochet.
Ricochet Ricochet Ricochet
So now they move the stuffed animals back to where they are I
Go back inside. I'm sitting on the couch just hanging out with my wife it with Haley and
Three minutes later. Avi comes in and goes we broke another window. I'm like what I
Don't even go out there my wife gets up and goes out there. One. It came back the whole 50 feet.
Bounced off the eye of this fucking owl and or 60 feet and hit the garage window.
So in three minutes, two fucking broken windows.
Fucking a. My wife's like, I can't believe how calm you stayed.
I stayed pretty calm. I was chill.
I was pissed. I was pretty pissed. Inside I was pissed. I was just thinking about the money.
I wonder how much it's going to cost to replace two windows now.
Is that $1,000 or is that $3,000? How much is that going to cost?
The kitchen window looks expensive as fuck.
All that Pilates chilled you out, maybe. Yeah, it's expensive. I know. I have a feeling it's gonna be, yeah, I know.
It's gonna be fucking horrible.
Duct tape is $3.
The-
So fucking pissed.
Don't fuck with stuffed animals.
So you know what I did?
I told the boys, I said, hey, throw your BB guns away.
And they're such good boys.
They take their BB guns, their rifles, and they just put them in the dumps in the, in
the, in the waste bin.
I took them out.
I'm like, no, we're not throwing them away.
I mean, I just have to, I have to set up like a different shooting range. I have like, no, we're not throwing them away. I mean,
except that I have to set up like a different shooting range.
I have to make it so. And Greg told me this, too.
He's like, hey, do don't let him shoot anything metal or where the fucking babies
ricochet off. And I was like, who cares?
You know, who cares if it rickety?
What's a ricochet or two?
Two broken windows.
Yeah, it's a pain. It's like the kitchen window looks like it's the kitchen window is like so fancy and it's
like on like these weird brackets.
It looks like it's going to be crazy expensive.
I know it was my idea.
I know.
It's just shitty.
It's just shitty.
I wish they knew how much it cost.
What was pissing me off is like how unfazed they were by it.
They were completely unfazed by the fact that they broke the window.
I mean, I shouldn't say unfazed.
They felt bad, but...
It wasn't enough for me.
I wanted to see some like...
I wanted to see them like drop to a knee.
Oh my god, 2500 bucks. That will break my, that will kill me if that.
Jake Chapman, I imagine Sevan's house is like one of those old Jewish German men who live alone and hoard bread and newspapers
Kind of I could see that
I could totally see that um, but it's not
It's um, oh shit. Wow, that's dope Do you know what it is it's um, oh shit. Wow, that's dope
Do you know what it is it's um, I hoard electronic gear
You wouldn't believe
You wouldn't believe you would not believe the shit. I have at my house. I hoard electronic gear
I have so much nice stuff. I have too much nice stuff like like holy balls
Like I got like my own endless supply of holy balls, by the way, they have new containers now. They're in these really nice bags. I
Just have stuff like cool stuff like hard drives and extra iPhones and cameras and
like endless microphones and tripods and
Monitor, it's just yeah, I'm a don't not kind of like a
dildo hoarder but not dildos
Daniel Geraghty that's a good idea Seve could call on to kill Taylor to try to
cover his window replacement that's not a bad idea
get rid of anything you haven't used in the last 24 months so you know it's funny
you say that yesterday I was in the last 24 months. So you know what's funny to say that?
Yesterday I was in the garage and I was throwing away all this shit.
Stuff that was still like, I'm sure is valuable to other people.
Like brackets for, I was throwing away so much shit yesterday.
It was crazy.
So much like just garden shit, yard shit, like repairs, stuff that's like for repairs.
Like I had all new hardware for my fence for the gate.
It was filling just a whole drawer.
I'm like, fuck it.
It was all brand new and it's packaged and everything.
I just threw it away.
I'm like, just don't think of it.
I threw away like this thousand dollar TRX packaged things with like the cables you pull out.
It's like, fuck it, garbage.
Just so much old
shit around
it's not even old I just have so much brand new shit around no I don't have
VCRs and shit it's all nice shit it's all just
It's all just...
Bernie Gannon, $2,500 Windows, I bet you now regret messing up that lucrative rogue sponsorship I tried to arrange for you. I know. Thank you. Thank you for trying, though.
Listen.
I can't tell you...
I can't tell you I could like of all I would
The fact that Katie Chris Cooper and Greg will come and Dave will come on the show is just crazy to me
There's nothing more I need from them. It's just that's enough
It's just crazy. It's fucking bad shit crazy
Cuz they are, I don't want to say they're squeaky clean, but they, you know, this show
can swerve off the path a little bit.
Dude, Jenny's shows are killing.
I love this thumbnail.
Ariel Lowenwind's killed Taylor.
Thanks for ruining the surprise.
Her shows are killing.
Those update shows?
All right.
I'll do the... Okay, I believe it.
I say, okay, I'm gonna show you this too.
This is about getting married.
Someone sent me this yesterday.
Uh, um, what uh, and they say you're toxic for fuck's sake.
Yeah, I'm toxic.
Oh, uh, Seve, did you see Heidi did did the high rocks on the weekend? Also, she started wearing
big hoop earrings. Thoughts? Oh, that's cool. So Heidi's sister is quite the accomplished athlete.
I was checking out Heidi's sister's Instagram the other day. Her sister's, I mean, I follow her and
forget her sister's name, but her sister's this really crazy accomplished athlete. I think it's like triathletes
I think it's running and swimming and biking or some shit like that
She does some shit like that and she's very accomplished and she made a post in her story that her I think her body worker
Canceled her appointment with her because of who she voted for in the election
So I guess Heidi said I'm guessing I didn't couldn't, I couldn't follow the story along perfectly.
But what I'm guessing is, is that Heidi's sister voted for Trump, mentioned it on her Instagram, and her body worker, the lady who, or man who works on her body said,
I can no longer work on your body because you voted for Trump.
That's absolutely insane.
That's absolutely insane. That's crazy. Listen, if you're the body worker of someone and you're pissed they voted for Trump, just accidentally slip your thumb in their ass the next time you're working on their body.
Don't fucking cancel. I know, what a douche. I know, it's crazy.
Yeah, it's a man too. I think it's a man.
I think a body worker is a man. I guess. I don't know about me.
And I use the term man loosely. What a douche. Yes, what a douche.
Dude, those fins are crazy in that picture. Is that real?
Oh, yeah, Will Plummer's story is so sad. I know. I've told it to like three people in my life now. It's crazy.
It's crazy crazy.
Oh no.
I can't even look at that. Someone sent me something that makes me want to go to war.
I better not look at that.
Okay, back to what I was showing you guys.
Here we go.
Let's discuss this.
Let's discuss this video right here.
I'm very good, Brett. How are you?
I'm great. I'm on Fox News.
You are.
I'm very good, Brett.
No, not that. What the fuck is going on? Where's my link?
Okay, here we go.
This is some shit. I guess the chick saw this on Reddit which you which you in context is home of the pedophile
Posted by Reddit stories, but it's our slosh off my chest
I proposed my girlfriend of ten years yesterday and she said no because I took too long and then read this I was so excited
I proposed I handed her the ring and she looked like she was going to cry and she said sorry
I don't think we should get married
and I asked her why and she said something along the lines
of quote, I'll always be the girl that you took a decade
to decide if I was wifey material.
I don't know how to be happy with that reality.
And I was ready to just like shield my eyes
and cringe at the comment section,
but everybody there understood.
Because obviously after 10 years, you know,
she would have been giving him hints,
she would have been asking, when is this gonna happen do you even want to get married is there something
wrong with me and she was probably hanging on desperate to try to make it work because she had
sacrificed so much time and years of her life as a young woman and then to actually see this man kneel
down in front of her and be hit with this reality and be like oh my gosh is what i waited for for
10 years i don't know if this is right like it makes total sense adjust
It makes total sense
What the fuck is wrong with people
If you if someone waits 10 years to ask you to marry them
If someone waits 10 years to ask you to marry them and you wanted to marry them and you use as the excuse that they waited 10 years to not marry them, you're either a delusional retard or you don't deserve that person anyway.
Yeah, but then she says no, what the fuck. I don't think I'm trying to think.
My married my kid, my wife eight years ago, so I was 44. And I knew her since I was 24. I waited 20
years before I proposed to my wife.
I would put my relationship up against anyone's fucking relationship.
How close I am, how much we bone, how little stress we have, the quality of our fights.
You're out of your fucking mind if you've invested 10 years in a relationship and your reason for not marrying them is they waited too long. Like what the fuck is wrong with people?
It's almost like...
I used to date this girl...
You ever date anyone and and they I don't know if I should get into
the details of it. I don't know if I want to want to do that. But you ever date anyone?
And well, I'll just say this, all the people that I ever dated, I bet you that they I would
guess and maybe I'm wrong. I'm just a complete arrogant douche or maybe both. Maybe I'm an
arrogant douche and and what I'm saying is true
I would guess every single person that I dated is not is like fuck. I shouldn't like
Not at the time but in hindsight, they're like fuck. I should have stayed with him
He turned out cool
It turned out good for him
Like all the bitches who were like wanted kids or wanted to live in this certain area
Or who wanted like me to have a different job or all that shit. I bet you they're just like all like fuck
Yeah, yeah, my wife doesn't even have a fucking wedding ring I
Didn't get my wife a wedding ring. Well, I got her just this gold band that she could work out in like this like
It's not it's not like a wedding band. I think I maybe haven't got her that I don't know if I got her that after
We were married. I
Don't know when I got that for
My wife has three rings. I think I bought them all for her
I don't think I bought my wife jewelry and I don't know when the last time I fucking bought her jewelry 20 years 10 years
Yeah, take all the time you need
What the fuck is wrong with people
Relationships are fucking a lot of work. You want you want to be?
You want to be I was talking What was I talking to my wife about?
Like it like like
Honestly, this is the paradox or the double-edged sword of it. You want to be with someone that if they cheat on you,
they tell you.
Kinda. I guess there's nuances.
You definitely want to be with someone that if you cheat on them and you tell them, they forgive you.
Unless, of course, like you're beating them. Anyway, I guess it's too, it's, it's a little
too complex to put that simply, but I'm just trying to think of the worst, the worst circumstance.
I'm just trying to think of the worst circumstance.
You know that term, the ick term?
People will say that person gives me the ick. Like, you don't want to be with someone where there's something that they do that fucking bugs you.
Like pathologically, you know what I mean?
Like if it bugged my wife that I went sniffled,
she'd be fucked because I sniffle all the time.
Like, man, set the bar fucking low.
And high.
Boy, I'm not making very much sense, am I?
Oh, someone said you were too scared to ask Katie to turn her phone.
No, no, I didn't even think of it.
I'm not saying that if you date someone for 10 years or 20 years or 5 years or whatever, you have to marry them. I'm not saying.
But if that's your reason, I don't believe that's the reason.
You don't date someone for 10 years and then they ask you to marry them and you say no because it took them so long.
That doesn't even fucking make sense to me. That's just...
And you say no because it took them so long that doesn't even fucking make sense to me. That's just
But it was some of the other stuff she said to you've sacrificed so much of your life and like what what are you talking about
You um I saw this I haven't watched the whole video yet, but Andrew Hiller
Made a video with Will Leahy and someone sent me a clip and will Leahy said there's more to life than CrossFit And you see all of these people saying that shit these athletes I
Wish someone I wish there was someone with who was like deep in their life who would explain to them
What the fuck is going on here on planet Earth?
There's nothing more than whatever you're doing
There's there's nothing more than just fucking right now.
There was a point, Gandhi, the guy who fucking was running India for a while,
he said, you can't separate religion and state because everywhere you go is a manifestation of your religion.
You are your fucking religion.
Or people will say stuff, I sacrifice so much to have kids like what the fuck are you talking about?
What way have you compartmentalized your life that there is this?
There's this part of your life and this part of your life, and they're in some sort of conflict with each other
like hey, dude
If you fucking love God love God while you do CrossFit.
There's nothing more than what you're doing. It's perfectly okay to completely...
There's nothing more important in life than doing CrossFit. Like, what are you
talking about? There's nothing more important in life than feeding hungry
children. There's nothing more important in life than doing this podcast. There's nothing more important in life than hungry children. There's nothing more important life than doing this podcast
There's nothing more important in life than what you're typing out in the comments right now. Like what what are you?
These people are deflecting from like this this this
Opportunity for this totality to be you in every single fucking moment
What a fucking pussy way out of a situation.
There's more to life than CrossFit.
Like, no, you hate CrossFit and you're fucking doing it at the highest level.
Then accept the fact that you hate CrossFit and you're doing it the highest
level and that's what you're doing.
And that's your life and either love it or don't do it.
But don't tell me that there's more to life than fucking CrossFit.
There's not more to life than anything that you're doing in the moment.
There isn't.
Ever anywhere. If you don't like it, switch to something else. If you do, if you
if you maybe you can accept the fact that you like doing something that you hate
doing.
Corey Leonard, if you think having kids is a sacrifice, you shouldn't be having kids.
Kids are fucking awesome.
Yeah.
Yeah.
Even the little shits.
Awesome little shits.
Yeah.
Now, I'm not saying that you don't have moments where you fall off out of the fucking moment
and you're fucking throwing a temper tantrum.
But then, but you gotta fucking come back.
If you want to do CrossFit, don't do CrossFit, but I'm telling you, if, if, if, if you have this mindset where you think that there, there's more to life than
CrossFit, then you're everything you do, there's going to be more to life than
blah, blah, blah.
There's more to life than just raising kids. There's more to life than just dating. There's more to life than just making money
There's more to life than like hey, dude, what what?
Every minute that you're trying to be a billionaire also
Make that a godly saintly present angelic moment
There's no there's no activity that's more godly than than other activities.
It's you.
It's you, it's just you.
It's always just going to be just you.
And of course, the people who who activities are in the service of other people, yeah, of course,
they're going to be fucking way happier.
Because there's, there's all the misery comes when you're thinking about yourself.
Across the board, there's no misery, there's no, the reason why getting hit with a stick
sucks is because you're thinking about yourself and your pain.
I get it. There's no misery when you're thinking about yourself and your pain. I get it.
There's no misery when you're thinking about other people.
When you're servicing other people, life's fucking amazing.
When you're doing good shit for other people, life's great.
When you're stuck in your own head and you're fucking dealing with your own shit, life's
horrible.
It doesn't mean you don't have to do it sometimes.
But worried about how many fucking likes or followers you have, that's not working on yourself.
That's just pure misery. You've entered the tunnel of misery.
That's not working on yourself.
I hope that, I hope, I hope, I hope, I don't feel like any of that landed, but I saw this and I'm just like, man,
it's perfectly, like, there's time. I never thought I was going to get married.
I never thought I was going to have kids.
I just cruised along.
Just cruising.
And then, and then Greg's chick was breastfeeding around my wife and she was 39.
And so she's like, I want one of those.
I was like, all right.
So we had a kid.
Life was good. But we had a kid, life was good,
but we had 20 years of relationship under our belt.
Fuck, it was great.
I'm so glad we did.
I wanna, we probably didn't fight for like,
like any like really good fights for like
two or three years until we had kids.
I mean, then we started fighting again.
It was kind of cool.
Add some texture to the relationship
All right, I don't really have anything I want to share today I don't have any I don't have any good clips i'm interested in
Oh, there's this.
I don't know if I played this for you.
I think, uh, I think Joel Salatin is coming back on and I think he's on, uh, maybe he's
on Trump's transition team.
I don't know if he can talk about it, but, uh, this is from the hormone specialist.
Organic farmer Joel Salatin will soon be an influential advisor to the U S department
of agriculture.
Cool.
The hottest jobs in Washington will soon be lobbyists for Big Ag, Big Food, Medical Associations
and Big Pharma.
There's a new sheriff in town and he's a rehire.
Only this time he's bringing new friends and careful notes of lessons learned from his
last stint.
This would be interesting.
He may have lost some of his bloom as an outsider, but he does seem intent on bringing in plenty of fresh bloom.
Let's see what RFK Jr. and friends can do. They won't have all the answers, but the reset will be fun to watch.
Maybe someone with some authority will finally say out loud, we do not manage chronic disease well in this country.
In fact, it might be said we even perpetuate it.
Maybe it's time to take another look at the system when sugary drinks get paid for with food stamps out of the same
bucket that health care gets paid from. In other contexts, that's called a racket. A spokeswoman for the American Beverage Association
said limiting food benefits won't make Americans healthier. Americans deserve the freedom to choose the right beverage for their day, she said
in Friday's Wall Street Journal. American taxpayers are willing to help put food on the table for the needy, but sugary drinks with no nutritional value
that drive metabolic problems
that they also have to pay for, maybe not so much.
I think we strayed a little too far
from common sense on that one.
Food stamps don't buy tobacco or alcohol.
Get ready for a fight.
Regenerative organic-
So first things first, big news,
regenerative organic farmer Joel Salatin is set to become a key advisor to the USDA
He'll be on the show. I think next week. So that's cool
Here's the thing and Greg said this over and over and over we're not gonna make any we're not gonna fucking make anyone healthier
I saw this thing the other day on Fox News. They were saying that 73% of all the food that's purchased in the United States is refined processed ultra processed food and that we need to bring
that to a stop. That that's not happening because of our government. That's
happening because that's what people want to buy. So you just have to accept
that. The part the distinction that needs to be made here is that we don't want to spend our money on subsidizing that stuff.
Meaning, we don't want food stamps being used to purchase anything that's ultra processed. That's cool.
It's our money. It's the allowance that we're giving to people who are in need.
But all we're doing, we're not actually going to make anyone healthier.
It's going to be very small percentage. All we're doing is then instead of rewarding high
fructose corn syrup jockeys, we're going to start rewarding that money's ideally going
to be used in rewarding farmers who are growing fucking broccoli and organic nectarines. That
would be the goal. They are actually not gonna make anyone healthier.
The fact they can get rid of all the food dyes
and all that shit and fine and fine and fine and,
but the matter of fact that they have no one,
and from what I know, no one has contacted Greg Glassman
and what he did with CrossFit and had these 15,000 centers on seven continents
and 162 countries where people could actually be practitioners of health the
fact that no one's contacted him to talk to him about that it means they have
fucking no idea what they're fucking doing. He's already, he has 20 years of experience just right there,
and then he knows what's possible and what's not possible.
But as long as people keep buying ultra processed foods, it's going to be 73%
of the food that's sold in this country. Like there's nothing you can do about that.
All we can do is be like, hey, we're not going to give money to people to buy Coca Cola, we're going to stop subsidizing sugar
farmers. You know, we can, there's things like that. But we are not going to, I
mean, just think, and I know I'm preaching to the choir, but just think of
the reason why we all work out, we do it, we do it strictly for ourselves, right?
Or we do it to stay in shape for our kids, or we do it in shape to try to get pussy,
or we do it because our mom or dad died of cancer and we don't want to die of cancer.
But we have our own internal motivation.
If you don't have that internal motivation to work out every single day or twice a day or five times a day or whatever the fuck you're doing, then
there's nothing these people can do.
I mean, it would be cool.
The good part for the health of the country, what they can do, which is
awesome is they can restructure the economy so that the people are rewarded
or the people for the food we want to eat, which is awesome.
But I hope they don't come.
I hope they don't conflate the two.
I really hope they don't.
Um, I really hope they don't think that I I hope that that's not... I hope they don't...
That's a woke metric to try to look for... to be going for... outcome that the... what am I trying to say here?
The method in which they're trying to get their outcome is not correct.
Is not correct.
It's not correct.
Somehow it's going to maybe make, I mean, shit, I don't know, building more parks, but
making the resources available for people to, I mean, fuck it.
At the end of the day, it all comes down to internal motivation, right?
If you're not motivated to do it for yourself for some reason, then it ain't gonna fucking happen.
It doesn't matter how much cigarettes cost. People who want to smoke are still gonna smoke.
Rebecca Fusilet is competing in High Rocks in Dallas this weekend.
Seve, do you expect any surprises from CrossFit
tomorrow? Is it basically what we think? I don't know to be completely honest.
I'm on some threads where people are talking about it. I'm not
following it at all. And I called Andrew Hiller last night and I said, hey can you
give me the Cliff Notes of what's going on? And he said, a bunch of people are saying something's going
to be revealed on Wednesday tomorrow. I don't know. And my question is, is it going to be
revealed about Lazar or is it going to be revealed about the games? I honestly have
not been following it at all. The only in like there's nothing they could do to the games that would
upset me like I don't think knock on wood like I don't care if they just have
the open and crown the winner of the open the fittest person on earth I'd be
cool with that if they go straight from the open and take the top 300 people and
send them straight to the games I would be ecstatic with that I would fucking
love that and have nothing in the middle if they
Have the open and then they make the what I've heard and I haven't heard it in months but what I heard a few months back was is that
it was gonna go from the
Open to some sort of virtual competitions that CrossFit runs and then to the games that I would fucking love that because then we
could jerk off over at a
CrossFit crash or a CrossFit Charlotte and me and Taylor and Tyler and the games that I would fucking love that because then we could jerk off over at CrossFit Crash
or CrossFit Charlotte and me and Taylor and Tyler
and the boys and Susa and everyone could,
John Young and Spin, we could like throw our own events.
That's always cool.
You know what I mean?
If we can get sponsors for that.
I don't care.
There's nothing, I don't have any...
I'm excited. The only reason why I care is I'm just excited for media opportunities
that we fund things that we can do around it. So that's the only reason why I care about the announcements so that we can make plans.
I'm not worried about that at all.
I don't, I'm not worried about that at all.
Whatever they, I am kind of like thinking that whatever, if they are going to release some news about Lazar,
then that chatter is going to get really loud.
And I'm kind of excited just to go to war with, you know,
whoever, whoever wants to fight.
Like I'm up for, you know,
I'm up for ass pounding people
who want to talk shit about dave
So either way
Um
I'm really excited about the podcast the podcast has just been kicking ass
So I love the guests are coming on
Uh suza's show is killing it shut up and scribbles killing it. I'm super excited about Jenny the dense updates. Those are sick
In on November 29th, uh, Hilar and I are starting a new YouTube channel. I'm super excited about that
My kids are just fucking shit up so I basically have to get one of my kids really I have to get my kids strong
I My kids are just fucking shit up. So I basically have to get one of my kids really I have to get my kids strong I
Have to get my kids really strong in
The next six months. I'm trying to figure out how I started programming them yesterday for that
Did some like baseline testing?
I
Need to get them strong squatting
Deadlifts and in gymnastics stuff. They need to be strong in handstand holds for their jiu-jitsu specifically.
They need to be strong in handstand holds.
They need to be strong in like any bar work and gymnastics.
I need to get, they need to be able to do pullovers, roller coasters,
shitloads of strict pull-ups, shit loads of strict muscle-ups. No, they're genetically good.
My wife is a freak. My wife is a freak. They're genetically really good. They're really flexible.
Two of my boys can do all the crazy splits.
They can go beyond splits and everything. But yesterday, Avi did with a dumbbell, 60
pound dumbbell did 10 front squats, no problem, fast like they were air squats. So that's
good. And he only weighs 65 pounds. No, that wasn't mean. That's fine. No, no, no. Listen, I have a little man. I'm like a little
petite man. Wasn't mean. Genetics are good. They got good genetics. But what's happening is
my son, Ari lost one of his matches in Jiu Jitsu. And if I showed you the match, you'd be like,
how the fuck did he lose that he
Fucking mauled the kid well
They it goes on points and he weighs 53 pounds and he's in this 64 pound division and
Because my kids are born at the end of November
All the other kids in their division if there's a kid who's born in January. He's a year older than my kids
So not only are the kids heavier, but they're older
And so my kid Ari is he
he truly is a fucking fighting phenom. They're all good fighters. But this kid Ari is just
I don't know how to fucking explain it. He just he's game. He's ready to fight.
He's he's.
And so I just after I saw this last tournament, he lost this kid that he mauled.
But this kid anytime he got this kid in these positions, this kid could push him off and
use things that weren't necessarily technique to score a few extra points on him.
And I was like, all right, I I'm just gonna get this kid fucking
strong so I'm really excited about getting the kids they're pulling power
strong and they're squatting power strong I don't know if I'm gonna fuck
with bench I have them do so many burpees already so your kids are above average than most.
I mean, not even above average.
They're like, listen, I say this with zero humility.
They're not even in the same...
They're not even in the same...
Four months ago, when I took my kids to start swimming lessons,
or six months ago, they cried
when they put them in the pool.
Now they're the fastest kids in the class.
It's like, I mean, what am I going to, I can't hide it.
They're insane.
I mean, we trained so much.
Yesterday's training was insane.
You want to know what they did yesterday?
They did basically two hours of school.
Then they did striking for 90 minutes, striking and kicking for 90 minutes. They went straight into, we did weightlifting and gymnastics for an hour. Then we played poker for
an hour. Then they went to a swim class and they basically learned strokes and swimming.
And Avi has a broken toe, so he can't even fucking use his legs. He has to squeeze this thing between
his thighs. So he just does freestyle and breaststroke the entire fucking class.
He gets out of the water and he's back as jacked and then straight from there.
I take them to a 90 minutes of a jujitsu training. I mean, it's nuts.
Uh, they're going to out, you're just afraid they'll outfit you immediately.
They're gonna out you're just afraid they'll outfit you immediately. They're dude
Just at the end of a workout
I mean I used to do this too I used to start every workout with 100 burpees now
I have them finish every workout with 100 burpees. It's like nothing to them
And I try to play games with them like yesterday I told our I told him I said, okay do 20 burpees as fast as you can and rest a minute and do five rounds of that.
And when when they were done with 60 are he goes, hey, I could do 40 faster than so and so can do 20.
And he just knocked out 40. I was like, Jesus Christ. I never trust a man who doesn't bench. That's fair. Bench is life. I know I should, I should. My kids are so hyper flexible, two of them
too, that they, I really do need to get them, the wires tightened up a little bit. They're just too
flexible. It's crazy. Anyway, so life is good. When the kids are healthy, life is good.
Avi, unfortunately, has had some sort of physical injury for eight months, which is just like
draining him.
But what are you going to do?
Kids haven't skateboarded in like two months.
It's the longest they haven't skateboarded probably in four years.
I mean, they've skateboarded, but just once a week, just on Fridays. Squad is better than bench.
Yeah, that's what I'm going to do.
I'm going to I'm going to really work on.
Squatting lunges, deadlift.
And then just pull, just create, I mean, they're
I have crazy pulling power, so I'm just
I'm just going to take advantage of those genetics
Just have them pull like fucking crazy, and then that's crazy valuable in jiu-jitsu
They all have like Popeye four arms already like their dad so
All right, that's my family life
Today is Tuesday have to take the trash out.
They have two and a half hours of tennis today. Oh, that's a nice thumbnail for Katie Henniger.
I'm starting to think that Matt Gaetz isn't going to get confirmed.
You guys have any thoughts on that?
Have the kids watch Tom Platt squatting?
I don't want them to see, you know what I don't want them to see?
I don't want them to see any juiced up dudes.
Is Tom Platt juiced up?
This is an article from May 6, 2015.
Kamala Harris-Ade and two others arrested for allegedly running a fake Masonic police department.
two others arrested for allegedly running a fake Masonic Police Department.
Three people, including an aide to California Attorney General Kamala Harris, were arrested for impersonating police officers and
creating a fake law enforcement agency called the Masonic Fraternal Police Department.
the Sonic Fraternal Police Department.
On April 29th, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department detectives searched and arrested the 28,000 block of Linda Vista Street
and the 17,000 blocks of Sierra Highway.
Badges, identification cards, weapons, uniforms,
police-type cars, and other law enforcement equipment were found in the searches of both locations.
How the fuck did Kamala Harris not know about this?
This story is resurfacing because there's some weird shit going on at the border with P. Diddy
and some of the people that work for him and then their relationship with Kamala Harris.
The allegations against Gates sound serious but after seeing what people did to Donald J. Trump,
I need to see and hear real evidence. Yeah, I get it.
Have the kids take Jack 3D pre-workout. My kid told me the other day, I said
something like, well, you've never, something, someone said something about
FID-AID and he said something about FID-AID and he's like well it tastes like blah blah blah and I said how would you know you've never
had any FID-AID and he goes no I've tasted yours when you've left it on the
counter. My kids are reaching that age.
Sneaking shit. I told one of my friends about the the the windows that got
broken during the BB gun shooting at my house
and my friend said, hey, they're lying to you. They shot the windows on purpose.
I'm like, are you out of your fucking mind? I put my friend on speakerphone when I was talking to them.
Aubie's like, dude, I would tell you if I shot it on purpose. I'm like, I know.
I don't know if they know if Uncle Hiller uses exogenous hormones. I don't know if they know that.
Buckle up. shit's about to get wild
Fake police. Hey, that's cool Joel Salatin's coming on right?
And and I think Jay Bhattacharya has been named head of the NIH. Oh, look at this.
Cheap viewers on Streambo.com.
Oh my God, I'm so excited.
Cunt. Okay, check this out. Canada my god, I'm so excited.
Cunt.
Okay, check this out. Canada. God, Canada is a mess. Canadian military mocked for inability to march in sync. Look at this. You won't even believe this. This is
crazy. Look at these buffoons.
Canada's military is holding up after years of worshiping the far left
progressive agenda. Here's a clip. Now, don't be alarmed at what you're seeing. They may not be able to walk in formation,
but any testicle-bearing person can get a tampon in the men's bathroom. Trigger words
are strictly prohibited, and all of their barracks are safe spaces and gender neutral.
If Kamala Harris would have been elected, the United States military may have had a chance
at achieving this same level of social justice readiness by 2028. it off?
What's the deal with that? You're allowed to keep your turbine?
China will take Canada first. Dude, they already, hey, dude, you guys, did anyone here besides me, did anyone watch that W.E.F. documentary?
I'll post it again.
This guy's, this is the Instagram account.
If you want to just be completely red-pilled into oblivion and have your fucking brain
broken, follow, watch this account.
It's like the million foot view.
It's it's like they're not hiding anything.
It's it's like they got Canada, they got the UK, they got Australia already. China's got them with this guy, this cloud swab guy.
ready. China's got them with this guy, this Klaus Schwab guy.
And all we can hope is that all we can fucking hope right now is that they don't got Trump and that we're not being duped.
There's people in my DMs who are like, hey, you're a fucking idiot.
They were, they control Trump too.
Please, ladies and gentlemen gentlemen welcome Donald J. Trump so 45th
President of the United States
We are also boldly embracing American energy independence
The United States is now by far the number one producer of oil and natural gas anywhere in the world by far
It's not even close. While many European countries struggle with
crippling energy costs, the American energy revolution is saving American families $2,500
every year in lowering electric bills and numbers that people said couldn't happen.
And also, very importantly, prices at the pump. We've been so successful that the United States no longer needs to import energy from
hostile nations.
With an abundance of American natural gas now available, our European allies no longer
have to be vulnerable to unfriendly energy suppliers either. We urge our friends in Europe to use America's vast supply
and achieve true energy security.
With US companies and researchers leading the way,
we are on the threshold of virtually unlimited reserves
of energy, including from traditional fuels, LNG,
clean coal, next generation nuclear
power, and gas hydrate technologies. To embrace the possibilities of tomorrow, we must reject the
perennial profits of doom and their predictions of the apocalypse. They are the heirs of yesterday's
foolish fortune tellers, and I have them, and you
have them, and we all have them, and they want to see us do badly, but we don't let
that happen.
They predicted an overpopulation crisis in the 1960s, mass starvation in the 70s, and
an end of oil in the 1990s.
These alarmists always demand the same thing,
absolute power to dominate, transform,
and control every aspect of our lives.
We will never let radical socialists
destroy our economy, wreck our country,
or eradicate our liberty.
America will always be the proud, strong,
and unyielding bastion of freedom.
We discuss here very intensively the question of inclusiveness, but all your politics certainly
are aiming to create better inclusiveness for the American people.
What a fucking tool, Klaus Schwabe.
So fucking Trump went in there and just ass pounded him everything
He said right there is opposite of the World Economic Forum agenda
During his first presidency in 2020
Donald Trump gave a speech at the World Economic Forum 2020 annual conference and mock Klaus Schwab's propaganda for shifting us to stakeholder capitalism
That's all the stuff that they're pushing from the World Economic Forum
Not because it's real but because it's all things that they've pushed and been behind to try to control us.
The overpopulation, now the underpopulation, the oil, the oil, the climate change, all that shit.
And, man, these dudes, these dudes are scary as fuck.
If you want, if you should check out this Instagram account.
as fuck if you want if you should check out this instagram account uh he's he's made a he's made a really sober documentary doesn't have any of the scary music or any of that shit it's just like
going through the facts and the history of klaus schwab and what the message he's been trying to
push um and they don't call they're trying to avoid calling it uh marxism or totalitarianism
or fascism they've changed the name to it Marxism or totalitarianism or fascism.
They've changed the name to it.
What do they have it?
They have it called, they call it stakeholder capitalism now.
And it's basically, and Klaus Schwab lays it out.
They want like four people to run the entire planet.
And that's stakeholder capitalism.
It's like out of a fucking Star Wars movie
Dude they already fucking have you ding-dong. They already have you
They already have you they got you they already got you in your country
They already got you You will have nothing and you will love it.
When they chop your son's penis off, Jake, that's when you'll know.
Maybe you'll never know.
Maybe you'll just stay, you know, a lot of people never know.
Maybe you'll never know.
Just be chill. Just living in the bliss, the bliss of the matrix.
You guys seen me that one? My girl just lost a day ago.
Like damn.
You guys seen me that one?
My girl just lost a day ago. Like damn.
Dude.
Already painting over the Kamala.
Like why would you do that?
Paint over the Kamala mural already?
Why wouldn't you?
I mean.
I guess it's job creation.
Was that English?
Yeah.
My girl Kamala lost just a day ago.
Dang.
How old your dog, foe. Yeah
Bye bye no more camela. I wonder what happens to her
You guys seen this?
This is crazy.
This chick who had questions for Charlie Kirk who pulled her tits out.
Did you guys see this?
I can't even believe this is real.
Okay, this is at a college campus and Charlie Kirk is being asked questions by the students
and debated.
This girl has those big old black rattlesnake looking crazy eyes anyway, but this is crazy.
Here we go.
The girl was losing an argument so she tried to flash Charlie Kirk.
Check it out.
He intentionally tried to provoke substance
out of you. And you said, well, I'm worried about some laws Congress should pass. I've
asked what laws are you talking about? And when she didn't know what to say next, she
did this. Can you be specific? Sorry, I'm nervous. This girl was loo. Did she do that
on purpose? Is that on accident?
Is that on it? Losing an argument. So she tried to flash Charlie Kirk. Check it out. Like maybe she was just trying to scratch her tit with the pinch
Like she didn't do that on purpose. Did she intentionally tried to provoke substance out of you?
And you said well i'm worried about some laws congress should pass. I've asked what laws you talking?
And when she didn't know what to say next she did is there did she really pull her tit out?
What's this black thing under here?
this
Can you be specific?
This girl was losing an argument so she tried to flash Charlie Kirk check it out
This girl was losing an argument, so she tried to flash Charlie Kirk. Check it out. He intentionally tried to provoke substance out of you, and you said,
well I'm worried about some laws Congress should pass. I've asked, what laws are you talking about?
And when she didn't know what to say next, she did this.
Oh, I was watching her eyes do some... the old pinching pool?
I want to say it was on purpose, but it's legit accident because of what she said right after.
I do that with my hog while talking to intelligent women.
Just reveal the shaft.
Oh, man. Oh Man
Tell me obby didn't see that I don't think he saw this no Oh man.
I don't know what's going on in the, I don't know, I'm fucking oblivious
it's probably time for a new P Diddy show what's going on with Diddy former dancer Adrienne English has spilled some serious tea about the
notorious rapper and the details are beyond disturbing English was a go-go dancer for Diddy and was stationed at certain checkpoints at his freak
off parties.
She claimed she was used by Diddy to help set people up for blackmail.
Here are her most disturbing claims from a recent interview, which get worse as the list
goes on.
To be very clear, these are all just allegations that haven't yet been confirmed.
Diddy refused to let a young dancer use the bathroom
during one of his parties,
so she just went number two on stage.
Guest Denzel Washington watched this happen
and stormed out of the party in pure disgust.
Diddy once had a threesome with rapper Nelly
and an unnamed underage girl.
In the leaked photos of Diddy eating fruit off of a woman,
she was actually 14 years old.
Hey, so I had this buddy, this, this clip right here,
I had this buddy, this is like 20 years ago
and he worked for a guy.
This reminded me of this story. This story kind of had,
I don't know if it fits here or not, but he worked for this guy
who was part of the family that printed cash for the country of Germany.
So his family owned the printing presses that printed the money from Germany and a couple
other European nations.
And this guy stole $300 million from his family and moved to Miami.
And my buddy was in charge of the cameras in this guy's fucking house.
And he said that at every party there was a naked, and there were parties all the time there, every party this guy had
his house in Miami, there was a naked girl always laying on the table, and she was covered in chocolate and then
surrounded by fruit. And that's what you would do. You would take your fruit and rub it on the chocolate and then eat it.
And that was like a staple at all his parties and he had all
He had a crazy sex room and he had cameras everywhere to film people who were having sex or whatever was going on in the house
I forgot all about it until I saw this clip. I
Should look the guy's name up and see what happened to him not my friend the
The German guy but but basically he stole 300 million bucks from his family and moved to Miami and
turned into a giant sexual fetish.
An underage girl Diddy sexually abused had two of his children and he helped
deliver the babies at his own residence.
At one party Diddy made JLo stick a bottle in the private area of an 11 year old
girl. Diddy's two sons, Justin and Christian Combs ran a train on Justin Bieber while he was tied down and sobbing.
Holy shit.
This guy just said that Diddy had his boys run a train on fucking Bieber.
Look, it even clocked, oh my.
A young girl who witnessed this happening is part of the lawsuit against Diddy.
The rapper apparently slapped her when she tried to loosen the straps on Bieber.
And lastly, English herself says she was on one of the Diddy tapes as an underage girl
being sexually abused by a former president
English has hinted that she'll be one of the witnesses to testify against Diddy in his upcoming trial
Diddy's form
Now can you maybe you can just say anything on Instagram if you just say alleged
Maybe this guy's just like you know what I mean like hey
I'm gonna get like how do you know how many views this video has?
Ten thousand, nine thousand, eleven thousand.
Where's this Diddy one?
Oh, forty five thousand.
So who knows?
They didn't make Bieber airtight, did they?
Jimmy Carter.
God, I need a space heater. It's freezing in here. I don't know if it's true.
I can't picture, I can't picture, I can't even fathom that you would have your sons
make Bieber airtight.
That sounds just, I don't know.
What are you gonna do?
Now you know why I didn't want to show you guys any of the clips today.
I got nothing.
I got nothing.
Just hearsay.
Just hearsay.
Is Trump gonna go after anybody?
Like the laptop people, are they going to get fucked?
Someone needs to be gone after for some shit, right?
How about the Morning Joe people that went on Trump?
Can you believe that?
The MSNBC people?
No, not went on Trump.
Oh, went to Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump.
That's pretty cool.
Since we can criticize you, we can criticize all of our government employees.
Absolutely.
That's the guy is the current attorney general, I think, Merrick Garland.
Or no, yeah.
You seem to whine quite a bit today about being attacked or people challenging the decisions
that you've made.
A justice system can survive those who challenge the prosecutors,
but it can't survive those who prosecute the challengers.
Just kind of the situation we're in with the Biden administration
and you at the helm.
The answer to your question is, Congress is not giving us money
for FBI agents to go into the reservations.
Oh, so this is Congress's fault that you won't do your job?
This is Congress's fault?
This is Congress's fault that you won't protect our reservations, that you won't protect our
reservations from the consequences of the Biden and Mayor this open border policies.
That's Congress's fault, not theirs?
You give us money for more FBI agents.
Oh, you need more money for FBI agents.
How about if they just
enforce the border? How about if you ask them to enforce the border?
The time the gentlelady has expired.
Mr. Herr, having been a long-term DOJ prosecutor, can you please explain why those people without the last name of Clinton or Biden are typically treated quite differently and seem to be the
I I I want to get on a Jake Paul fight card and fight that dude Garland
Like you know, like it could be just like fighting old people
God I want to fight that dude
Mostly because I think I can win. Just kick his ass.
Fucking, I want you, I want to fight too. If I get on the card I'll see if I can
get you a fight with like my orcas. I like to fight my orcas, too
All right, you guys want to leave with just some crazy shit
This guy is fucking wild. I forget this guy's name. This guy's been on the show twice I should have this guy back on last time. He fucking kind of overwhelmed me a bit. What's this guy's name? Does anyone remember?
This guy's fucking intense.
The RU 486 pill. RU 486 abortion pill is literally a Nazi era relic.
Rusell-Uklof, the French pharmaceutical company that created the abortion pill and Bill Clinton
brought it to America in the year 2000. RU Rusell-Uklof RUU486. Their majority shareholder is Hoekst AG. Hoekst AG was the co-founder of a
German chemical company known as IG Farben. IG Farben was infamous for creating a cyanide gas
known as Zyklon B, the gas used to poison Jews in Nazi death camps. So Hoekst AG simply shifted from creating poison to murder Jews to creating poison
to murder babies. It's the same company.
Welcome to the culture of death.
Welcome to what happens when good men and women who claim the name of Christ and
not to know better are weak, wimpy, woke and silent. By the way,
Him and Josh Cedar should date a Zyklon B.
What a fucking what a scary name for a drug.
Let me look that up. Zyklon B.
Zyklon B translated into.
Oh, it means cyclone in German.
Cyclone B was the trade name of the cyanide-based
pesticide invented in Germany in the early 20s. Hydrogen cyanide.
Let me see. The product is notorious for its use by Nazi Germany during the Holocaust to murder
approximately 1.1 million people in gas chambers installed in Auschwitz, Bourg Noir, Majdanek and extermination
camps. The poisonous gas that interferes with cellular respiration first uses a pesticide 1880s. Oh, interesting.
Dude, what are you doing? Oh, my God, I hate him so much.
I'll get him on tomorrow.
Cyclone B.
I'll get him on tomorrow and a flat earther. We'll do a three-hour show 90 minutes each
Dude crazy that that shit was sprayed on our plants in the 1880s
Hydrogen cyanide was used in the 1880s for the fumigation of citrus trees in California.
I wonder if that played any role in the spread of polio.
Polio. In 1942, the Nazis began using Zyklon B as the preferred killing tool in extermination
camps.
So, it went from your fruit trees to spraying people down.
Some 56 tons of the 729 tons sold in Germany in 1942 to 1944 were sold to concentration camps.
Are you, are you, if you're selling, I wonder how that works.
Jake Chapman, I honestly think you'd hit record numbers if you did. Thank you.
Oh, oh, when are we having a porn star on the show?
I need to get like a like willing to go places like and talk about.
Like when I say.
When I say hey is it okay to stick stuff in your butt like we can have an honest conversation conversation about it. Not a urologist. Like I need a cool
doctor. Like everyone, all doctors are so like protective
over what they say. I want like an opinionated doctor who's
like, Yeah, you really should never be sticking anything in
your butthole. Like when I asked that question yesterday to Lance,
it was like like it was really
I don't want to say facetious, but or rhetorical, but it's like hey, dude
Like nothing should go in your butt like everyone knows that
Like it's like the same thing like you shouldn't be drinking wine when you're pregnant
it's like it's like there's just shit, you know, like if you're asking like
You know like that you like you shit you know, like if you're asking like, you know, like, like just, you know.
Would you ever be convinced that anal is okay?
I mean, I don't know.
It seems like a stretch.
I just don't think you should stick things in your butt.
Hey, hey, could you, Jake, could you ever be convinced that there should be anything
stuck down the hole of your penis?
Let me ask you that. Could you Jake, could you ever be convinced that there should be anything stuck down the hole of your penis?
Let me ask you that
We can set up an appointment. I could stick a cotton swab down there. See how that makes you feel
Just honestly just honest like hey i'm gay and I take it in the dumper But you still shouldn't do it or I put it in people's I mean there's things I do you shouldn't do
trying to think of something I do that I shouldn't do
the other night I had a glass of whiskey after telling my wife Mike man I never
drink at home anymore ever and then that night I had a glass of whiskey.
There's just stuff like, but you can still be honest about it.
Like, it's not rocket science.
Don't inject a six-month-old baby with something that will alter its immune system for the rest of its life.
Don't be stupid. Don't drink alcohol when you're pregnant.
Don't drink caffeine when you're pregnant. There's just things like...
You just know. Don't stick anything in your butthole.
You just know these things.
There's only men and women. And of course you're always going to get one retard out in the fucking stratosphere.
You're going to be like, well actually there are some people who are born with both. It's a micro penis and a labia major.
It's like shut the fuck up. We're not talking about that.
Yeah, butthole. Yeah, exactly. Dick butter. You lost me at butthole. Yeah.
What's the the butthole. Yeah. What's the, the butthole.
All right.
That's good, that's a good place to...
He didn't want to go there.
This is the kind of conversation we needed with Lance.
He didn't want to go there. That's what I mean conversation we needed with Lance. He didn't want to go there.
That's what I mean.
I need someone who's cool who can be like, no, no, actually it is fine to put it in your
butt hole this study.
Like, and it can just be like fun, but it, um, first of all, I don't know, Jake, I'm
not, I don't know if I'm going to get into the anal orgasm. There's no such thing as an anal orgasm
like maybe you could convince me that like you can hit the prostate and like make fucking make the penis shoot a load but like
Like I can hit your head in the back of that I can hit you in the back of the head with a sledgehammer and
Make fucking spit come out of your mouth, too's not the most efficient method you know what I mean
doesn't make it right you know what I mean I could probably like what if I found a way to
electrocute your balls that made you orgasm it still doesn't make it right
