What's up, doing? Good to meet you. Nice to meet you too. Antonio, September 19th through the 22nd? Yes, sir. San Antonio, Texas.
Starting point is 00:00:48 Dang. Are you ready? Yes, I'm as ready as can be. I'm going to be working out today, then I'm going to do a small light workout tomorrow, and then that very light workout tomorrow and then that very light workout on Monday then I'll be a lot. It's crazy cuz you're going up against two champions, a two time champion and then a tie.
Starting point is 00:01:20 Yep, yeah, Mikey and Tim. Yeah, you have something for them? Oh yeah, I'm gonna give them a run for their money. All we can all do is our best. That's what I'm gonna hope to showcase there. I hope Tim is not listening. He's a buddy. You definitely are the rich froning of your division. I mean, you have a physique on you.
Starting point is 00:01:50 Now it's to put that thing to work. Is that thing that Blaze has all show or does it got some go? We're about to find out if it has some go. Unfortunately, CrossFit's not modeling. So hopefully we can... Hopefully I can show, you know, not embarrass myself on the CrossFit world, but yeah, Tim and Mikey, they're definitely ambassadors for our division. I got to give them credit, so, but I'm looking
Starting point is 00:02:19 forward to competing with, against them. It's going to be fun. Blaze, how old are you? 34. Okay. Are you the young guy in the group? Uh, no. No. I think I'm on the older realm. I think me and Mikey are around the same age. Tim might be a little older than us.
Starting point is 00:02:39 I think he's a couple. I think he's got you by a couple years. Okay. Okay. Because I don't remember how old he is, but every time he tells me how old he is, I think, I wonder he's getting close to his expiration date for his peak. For Tim. He's gonna be like, you dickhead, Sevan. I thought we were friends. How many times have you been to the CrossFit Games?
Starting point is 00:03:05 I've been to four, but competed in three. This will be my third one competing in. Can you tell me how you got into it? Like your background in sports from a kid? What was your first in your beginning? And we'll build up to how your paths, Blaze path crossed with CrossFit. Okay. So, so. Business has always been a part of my life.
Starting point is 00:03:29 Uh, my older brother was a competitive swimmer. So I used to, you know, always try to, you know, at least work out with him when he would work out at home and like, you know, do pushups, sit-ups, things like that. And, um, so that taught me good habits. And once I got in about seventh grade, I joined the wrestling team. And that was, I'm a little biased,
Starting point is 00:03:52 but I feel wrestling is one of the best sports ever. It taught me a lot about self-discipline and that if you can control what goes in your mouth, you can control anything. So I did that up until my senior year of high school. Was always pretty relatively strong for my weight class. I wish I would have known about the Paralympics prior to, you know, during my like high school days and college days, but I really didn't learn much about the Paralympics until like my mid-20s. But where was I going to go with this? Basically, once I got into the Paralympic realm, like I got more involved with the adaptive sports realm, and that's when I came across adaptive
Starting point is 00:04:41 crossfit, in which I got very lucky. I moved from Pittsburgh to North Carolina in which in 2021 when I moved to North Carolina, I joined News River CrossFit, which is the owner at the time is John Prescott. Tell me the name of the gym again. I missed that. News River CrossFit. Okay. Nus River CrossFit. Okay. And the owner at the time was John Prescott, who's heavily involved with the Willwad team. And it was just a match. It was a great match.
Starting point is 00:05:15 He told me about, they actually hosted the past, Raleigh hosted the past three Willwad games. So it was right in my backyard, um, the past three years. This is the first time I'm actually traveling to a CrossFit event. So, um, but yeah, that's what honestly, when I first walked into a CrossFit gym, I really, I didn't know what double unders were. I didn't know. Oh, even as a wrestler, even as a wrestler, you didn't jump a lot of
Starting point is 00:05:41 rope, I just, I just jumped rope, but we didn't do double unders and we didn't, uh, like I knew what burpees were. I knew like lifting movements, like Queens. Uh, didn't know much about snatching. Um, didn't know anything much about like world climbing, but no, I knew pull ups and things like that. Uh, but wrestling, we mostly just did strip pull ups and crossfit. You do kipping or brother block pull-ups.
Starting point is 00:06:06 So it was a change, but I loved it. From the day I stepped foot in there, I was welcomed with open arms. As you know, the Crossfit community is great. And it's very adaptive and very, you're able to scale things if needed. So that's what I really enjoy about it. And I've had a great experience so far. I look forward to keeping up with that experience.
Starting point is 00:06:34 Hey, you said something interesting. If you can control puts in your mouth, you're referencing like weight cutting and wrestling. Yes. Yes. like weight cutting and wrestling. Yes, yes. Wrestling is the one sport where you're expected to compete, you're expected to compete at your best when you're feeling your worst. And like that's, it's just a great sport, man. And it's like, even like self-discipline
Starting point is 00:07:00 with like doing schoolwork while cutting weight. Like, you know, you're just not on, you're hungry, you're dehydrated, but you also, you've got to take that exam. Well, you're taking the same exam as everyone else that has a full stomach and drank plenty of water. So it's just like, I don't know. I just, it just taught me a lot about myself.
Starting point is 00:07:17 Um, and the, you know, being having friends that wrestle with it, it's just, it's just been awesome. You said you started in the seventh grade wrestling? Yes yeah they needed a 75 pounder and I was one of the two 75 pounders in the school at junior high so I was like shoot I'll give it a shot. They had wrestling at your junior high huh it wasn't a city team it was the school team? Yeah it was the school team. Wow I don't think any junior high I ever in my area not a single junior high had any organized sports like if you wanted to play organized sports before high school I mean I live in California you had to do like some sort of city program I never even I've never even heard of that isn Isn't that a trip? Yeah, that is a trip.
Starting point is 00:08:06 Yeah. Wow. I think that's just culturally California. It doesn't put a premium on sports at a young age. That's unfortunate. Yeah, it is unfortunate. So when you first started wrestling, and I have a lot of interest here
Starting point is 00:08:23 because my kids do a lot of Jiu-Jitsu and tournaments and a lot of striking and they don't do it through schools, but they do it just privately. My kids are young, seven, seven and nine. But how was your first year? Did you even start cutting weight in the seventh grade? No, I didn't start cutting weight until my second year, eighth grade when I moved up to 80 pounds. And I didn't really know what I was doing, but we had a pretty stacked team and, um, I had the only weight class I could probably, you know, that was available was 80 pounds and I should have wrestled like in the 90 pound weight class, but I just sucked in weight the whole year is brutal. Brutal. How tall are you? Four, six.
Starting point is 00:09:02 How tall are you? Four six. Okay, me too. And when, and when, um, and when you were in the, did you have a growth spurt? Ninth to tenth grade. Okay, so you had, it's not like you went through puberty early.
Starting point is 00:09:18 When you were in the seventh grade and you were wrestling, you still hadn't even hit puberty. You were still just little. Oh yeah, yeah. How did you do when you were in the seventh grade and you were wrestling, you still hadn't even hit puberty, you were still just little. Yeah, yeah. How did you do when you started? There's this crazy story which just makes me respect Justin Madera so much that his first 50 matches that he wrestled, I wanna say in high school,
Starting point is 00:09:37 he lost 49 of them. And by the time he was a senior, he went to state. Wow. Did you have success early on? Not really on. No, not until I didn't not until ninth grade, I started like winning. Um, my first two years were rough. Um, but like when I was in the 75 pound weight class, I got a lot of forfeits because there weren't a lot of people in the weight class. But uh, yeah, my eighth grade year wasn't too hard, but ninth grade I started picking up.
Starting point is 00:10:07 In the learning curve with wrestling, is it steep? Experience does matter. I would say it's steep. I mean, you just got to be consistent with this, like with anything. I mean, you just got to be consistent. You got to be around it more. Like I started going to camps and things like that with the team, my eighth ninth grade year. So that helped out a lot. You know, I mean, when I first got into wrestling, I just envisioned it as
Starting point is 00:10:37 like WWE, you know, I just, yeah, I really didn't know the sport. So yeah, I mean, I don't think you can just get up and just do it. Now, some people are more talented than others, but yeah, I think experience matters. Like a kid like Bo Bassett, I mean, he wrestles all the time, I mean, year round. And like that plays a part, you know, with how successful he is at this level. And he's only going to be a junior in
Starting point is 00:11:08 high school. And he's going to U 20, you know, uh, tournaments and things like that. Um, but the experience matters for sure. That guy you mentioned, Beau Bassett, that's a high school kid who's, who's making waves in the wrestling world. Yes. Yeah. He's, he's fun to follow on social media. I'm a fan. Okay. I want to show him to my kids. Let me see Bo B-O-B-A-S-S-E-T. Yeah, two T's I believe. Oh, okay. I found him. Oh yeah. He is just a young kid.
Starting point is 00:11:46 Oh yeah, man. Being from Pennsylvania, we don't mess around when it comes to wrestling. You know, that's our, that's our cup of tea, that and football. So. And when you, um, wrestle in junior high and high school, these aren't adaptive divisions. Everyone's just piled in. Correct. They're just strictly weight class. And did you ever wrestle in the Paralympics?
Starting point is 00:12:15 No. No, they don't have wrestling in the Paralympics. They don't? No. They do not. Why don't they? That's a great question. No, they do not. Why don't they? That's a great question. That could be something to bring up. I feel that would be relatively successful.
Starting point is 00:12:33 Yeah, people would love to watch that. It would be hard to scale, though. How would you couldn't do it by weight class? Maybe you could do it by swimming with the classifications't I'd be interesting how we would break that up. Like how would I like how how would you want me to wrestle like an amputee? Like that was you know I mean like yeah I mean you could you could start it with just weight classes you know what I mean like first year just be like hey this is this is this is just how it begins yeah what what sport did you do in the paralympics uh paraparalympic which is strictly bench press okay okay do they have a drug problem
Starting point is 00:13:15 paralympics yes of course yeah just it's just like another regular sport yeah Yeah, yeah. We get tested pretty heavily though. I feel at least in the States we're governed pretty good. I mean, internationally I can't only speak. I mean, it seems like a lot of people be juicing, but each its own, you know, can't control that. What is your max bench? Your all time best? Right now it's at 295. I really want to get over 300 very bad, but I've been focusing more on CrossFit the past few months, but once this competition is done, I'll try. I'll get back into the benching.
Starting point is 00:13:59 And what's the most you've ever weighed, Blaze? Healthy wise, probably like 140, the most I've ever weighed. Okay, so it's two times body weight you're benching. Yes, yes. I compete in the 130 weight class though. Oh, okay, wow. Okay, so you still cut weight for that. Yeah, but it's not, it's not nothing crazy.
Starting point is 00:14:23 I used to lift in the 120 weight class Dang Yeah, when when you show up to san antonio on september 19th, what will your weight be? About like 128 Between like 128 132 When you when you I wrestled for one year and There was so much running. And the guys who were good even before practice,
Starting point is 00:14:48 they would just run 10 miles. Like that would be like their opening, like yeah, crazy, right? Yeah, they would just go out and run for 90 minutes or two hours, whatever, before practice. Did you do a lot of running? We did, but fortunately my coach would like if say that they were doing the mile, I would do three laps. He would, you know, he was, he was good like that.
Starting point is 00:15:12 We would do a lot of sprints also, which I didn't mind or like stadium steps, things like that. But we didn't run as much. We didn't do like 10 miles on the mile, like on miles. No, we didn't. At least our high school, we didn't. For us. Did you, was it an advantage or a disadvantage to in wrestling to be a short stature athlete? Was that, were there advantages
Starting point is 00:15:39 or were there disadvantages? It was definitely some disadvantages due to the leverage. Uh-huh. They did science to science. I mean, leverage leverage is gonna be is gonna win a lot. It's easier to push down than to push up But explain that to me, what do you mean? Sorry you lost me because of limb length or yes I mean it's here. It was hit or miss like When I had like a big lanky guy, I had so much to work with, but like it felt like, I don't know,
Starting point is 00:16:10 like certain movements, they were able to grab my head a lot easier. And it just, I just didn't have the technique right at that time to really get like know my body to like get in the right position that I needed. We actually had, I don't remember his name, but we actually had a state champion who's from Highlands High School who was short stature. He was a lot older than me. What was his name? I think it started with Spencer, but obviously it wasn't Spencer Lee, but I forget his name. But I want to say he went to Highlands High School in Western
Starting point is 00:16:53 Pennsylvania. But yeah, he ended up winning the state championship in the 103 weight class. I think he was about five years older than me. Um, cause I remember our team telling me about him when I was like in seventh grade, like, Oh, you could be the next him, you know, did you ever meet him? No, I never got a chance to meet him. In, in, in all your years, did you ever go, did you ever see any other short statured wrestlers? No. Not in person, no. In Jiu Jitsu, I'm only 5'5", and my kids and I have short legs, but one of my kids has long legs. But basically, the shorter leg kids, it's kind of like what you're saying.
Starting point is 00:17:44 Triangles aren't really an option you know what I mean because they just like hey that's not gonna be your move you're not gonna be triangling a lot of people but you get a lot but a lot but I see a lot of the women that a lot of women who have longer legs or it seems like it's women they triangle or lanky dudes like you were saying they'll triangle the shit out of people if you get close to, they could choke you out with their legs. Not good. Not good.
Starting point is 00:18:08 No. Those long leggers, what are we going to do with them? So then, Seve, you're 5'4". Okay, I'll measure today, maybe. I was 5'5". My license says 5'5". So, and you wrestled all four
Starting point is 00:18:24 years? Did you let her in high school in wrestling? Yeah. Yes. Yeah. And, um, and what about your parents? Um, did, were they supportive of that? Well, um, my mom would be a nervous wreck like most parents. Yeah. I'm still wrestling matches, but, um, it worked out. She's, she was used to the competitive with going to my brother's swim meets. But with me, with me, uh, wrestling, it was a little different because it was actual physical, physical contact sport. So sometimes she didn't want to go down and get, you know, grab the kid that beat me, but you know, it was this, you know, I just, you know, she kind of
Starting point is 00:19:03 learned along the way, like, hey, it's a sport. It's keeping my son out of trouble. It's giving him good structure, gaining friends, and getting lessons out of life. So she kind of understood it. She knew I wasn't going to be the next Olympic gold medalist, you know, like Spencer Lee or like Sarah Hildenbrand, but it was just, you know, it was just a good time to be around good people.
Starting point is 00:19:32 It is crazy stressful. Like when I go to my kids tennis matches, the whole time I'm thinking, God, the other parents are such assholes. But when I'm at Jiu Jitsu tournaments, I'm like stressing my kids are going gonna get hurt. It's like funny, my mindset is like totally different. It is so stressful watching your kid fight. I mean, it is basically fighting. You go out there and you fight another guy and there's some rules or some shit you can't do. You can't bite them, can't grab their junk, you know, but basically you're fighting those kids. You could get, you could get dropped on your head. I'm sure you were dropped on your head. I'm sure you dropped
Starting point is 00:20:03 kids on your head. I'm sure you were dropped on your head. I'm sure you dropped kids on their head. Yeah, yeah, you're absolutely right. But I'm glad like my coach went to my mom right away. He's like wrestling is really safe because there's an official right there at all times. So, and that gave her some peace of mind. I never really worried about getting hurt. That never really came came across my mind.
Starting point is 00:20:26 Like that I was going to... Young and dumb. Young and dumb. Unless you know, right? Dude, Blaze, the last Jiu-Jitsu tournament I was at, in the first hour, two kids got taken away on a stretcher. Crazy. They just hurt like it would neck cranks and shit. Crazy right? Yeah. Yeah that's not like something you want to see as a parent seeing someone's kid. I mean the kids were both okay but it's still like it's pretty dramatic you know what I mean? They're taking all the
Starting point is 00:21:04 safety precautions and the kids holding his neck and they're like, hey don't move and you I'm sure you saw that though also in wrestling right kids get taken away every year one or two Yeah, I mean it was like with like basically it was mostly like little injuries though like someone by dislocated their knee or like broke their elbow but like as far as Maybe one or two out like neck stretcher type incidents, but it was more than that. It was like, you know, basic common injury stuff that's gonna happen in any sport. Um, you get out of high school and then is that the end of your wrestling?
Starting point is 00:21:39 Yes. And then, so what do you do your first year after you graduate to stay in shape? Do you have to find something? Yeah, yeah, I joined my local gym because I went to community college the first two years I joined the local gym down the street. It was just like your regular Fitness, you know with machines and weights and things like that. So that kept me occupied But I got pretty strong. That's when like lifting really became like a thing for me. I had time and I started busting out some iron and I was getting really, I was getting pretty strong.
Starting point is 00:22:14 So basically that's what I did to occupy my time when I was still at home and then when I went to a university I kind of laid low on the fitness, which I'm not, I'm not. I'm pretty ashamed of, but you know, it was just a lot more people. I didn't really, the university gym is like packed with like a lot of people. And it's just like, uh, that's not my cup of tea. So I kind of like just beard off. I'll play basketball here and there. Like I would shoot the basketball around.
Starting point is 00:22:42 That was pretty much the only fitness I was doing during college. So when you stopped competing in high school, you didn't compete for a while. Did you have that competitive itch? No, not really. Cause I really didn't. It wasn't on my mind. I really, the competitive itch happened when I got out of college and I knew I wanted to get that I wanted to compete and weightlifting.
Starting point is 00:23:09 But during college, like when my young twenties, I was just wanting to get my education and get out of school as soon as possible. So I hated school. You didn't like school. No, especially university. I had a tough time with like bullying and things like that. I wanted to get in and out of there man. I love education, but like the whole school thing just wasn't for me. So I just wanted to get my degree and get out.
Starting point is 00:23:36 What do you mean bullying? Well, you know with having dwarfism and you know with being African-American, you know, I having dwarfism and, you know, with being African American, you know, I went to the university that was in Mercer County, which is not diverse. So, you know, those kids seeing me for the first time, you know, it was just, it was eye opening for me because I really didn't get bullied growing up. Like my child, I really didn't get bullied growing up. Like I really didn't deal with childhood bullying. So I had to like figure out like, okay, I thought that was left in the back burner.
Starting point is 00:24:12 We're adults now. We're adults now. Exactly. Exactly. I thought like I was past that stage and it's like, oh, no, you're not Blaze. No, you're not. It's like, so that was a little humbling, but I got through it, you know. Can you give me an example?
Starting point is 00:24:27 Give me, like, so I have to assume everywhere you go, people stare. Like if my kid saw you, they would fucking like, like if we walked by you at a restaurant, they would stop. They wouldn't even like, they wouldn't show any discretion. They would just be like, you know what I mean? Right, but I mean, the thing is, in a lot of people in the Dorpism community can attest to this. Children staring, that's
Starting point is 00:24:50 curiosity. That's not being mean. That's not bullying. Right. So that is what it is. I mean, they stop and stare at eagles too, or spiders. Or if you were six, ten, they would stare at anything new. Exactly. Like, you know, they would stare they would stay stared anything new exactly like you know Let's get three-wheel motorcycle and they're like what the fuck is that like? Yeah, exactly. So that's so that that never really bothered me
Starting point is 00:25:14 I mean, it's just the adult boy which isn't talked about because it's rare and It's just you know when adults are you know calling you out your name pulling their phones out and recording you without your permission. Right. It's, you know, things like that. It just becomes dehumanizing. And you know, there's, I could tell you both loads of stories, but I learned to channel it and not like, not really, unless I rarely react, I try to not to react because it doesn't become positive because what people,
Starting point is 00:25:46 a lot of people don't know is I could whoop their ass. So it's like, you know, I try to be civil. I try to be, you know, I try to be the bigger man, you know, and just let, you know, just let it slide. And I know other people probably been in those situations, not just me, but sometimes you just gotta be the bigger person and just, it's either, if I get involved, it could either deescalate or it could escalate. And I'm not gonna take that chance,
Starting point is 00:26:22 and I'm just gonna keep moving forward and keep controlling what I can control When when I Mean, this is different, but I had a great day I had three great Danes and every time I went out if you go out with a great day and you're gonna get stopped like there's no like You know that dog the giant dog the great Dane, you're gonna get stopped. Like there's no like, you know that dog, the giant dog, the Great Dane? Yes, yep. And every time I'd go out with them,
Starting point is 00:26:47 it was a scene, right? You're gonna get stopped. And like, I hated it too, because it was during my era when I smoked a lot of weed. And now I haven't smoked weed in 20 years, but I didn't wanna talk to anyone, right? I was so fucking introverted and like, I was paranoid. But when you go out,'s got to be like that
Starting point is 00:27:06 like every time you leave the house it's like you're gonna you're like a great dame you're gonna your people have not seen seen like you're a spectacle right right right well go ahead no no you go ahead I was gonna say like that like, that's what's very powerful about being around a good community. So like the trick I've done is like, now that it's 2024, like you don't have to go to a grocery store. Like you don't have to go into a retail store.
Starting point is 00:27:37 Like you can get stuff online. So like you can somewhat avoid the unnecessary stairs and curiosity. But like, you know, if I'm pumping gas, there's nothing I can do. If someone wants to holler something out, you know, it is what it is. But like what you're pumping gas and some high school kids drive by and they'll go, what's up shorty? Yeah, that's what and what do you do? Like you leverage that? Do you wave? You're like, hey, what's up? Retards? I mean guys? Yeah, I might say something inappropriate here and there, or I might just let it go.
Starting point is 00:28:15 Have you learned to leverage it at like some sort of tool of positiveness. Like, okay, I'm going to take this attention I have and I'm going to be like, um, I mean, I mean, obviously, comedy is just a fucking great tool. Um, but is there, is there a way to like leverage it? Well, it's easy for me to meet people. Yeah. You know, that's what's nice to leverage it, you know, it's easy for me to meet people. Yeah. You know, that's what's nice to leverage it, you know, and people I'm easy to remember.
Starting point is 00:28:49 What do you mean? Like, what do you mean? Like you'll, you feel comfortable just walking up to anyone because you know, people are going to be cool to you if you approach them. Right. And just breaking the ice and just proving them like, Hey, I know this is going to be your first time, but I just, if it's your first time, I'm going to try my best to make sure it's a good time for you.
Starting point is 00:29:05 Like this is your first time meeting someone with dwarfism. Right. Yeah, totally. And I would say 99% of the time it is. Yes. Yes. Yeah. I mean, it's easy to say for me, but I would hope that like as quick as I could in my
Starting point is 00:29:20 life, I would figure out how to leverage that to make it like you said, like, okay, I know it's easy to meet people. Like if I introduce myself to people, no one's being a dick. Like figure, crack that code or figure that out or. Well, I mean, the one thing we're battling is it's not like black and white. It's like you're battling open versus closed minded people.
Starting point is 00:29:43 So it's like, you know, once I'm in an open-minded environment with people, I don't feel that pressure, that like, stare, like, hey, who is this guy? Some people are just educated enough, like, okay, he has something going on, or he actually, he has dwarfism. You know, so like- He's just different, I've never seen anyone like him.
Starting point is 00:30:01 He's just different, it's like a bald eagle. Like those of us who live in the city every once in a while you see one You're like, what the fuck is that? You know what I mean? You know, well, I think that's the difference between our our situation versus other disabilities and other differences because I feel it's the stigma and perception that comes with dwarfism of Like outside of our community and even inside our community that goes on that we just get screwed. I mean, a lot of our negativity comes from the adult film industry. You know, like there's, I mean, and that's, there's nothing, there's nothing like I could do about
Starting point is 00:30:38 that. You know, you can't, you're not beating that. You're not beating that. You're not beating, you know, entertainment with the wrestling, micro wrestling and things like that. So that's why I really like Mikey and Tim. Like they bring positive awareness to the community with their CrossFit platform. That's what our community really needs because it's, we have a lot of negativity out there that the, like the main view stream media people see, but they don't see enough
Starting point is 00:31:08 of the positive of what we're doing. Explain that to me. There's shitloads, not to get too grotesque, but there's shitloads of, there's all variants of fucking pornography, right? I mean, there's just Mean you name it and it's it's out there keep keep your kids off of phones. Don't give your kids phones anybody you give your kid But what what would be or like even the wrestling what would be net? I'm not sure I see the negativity in it outside of if you just didn't like porn or But like what's wrong with like my title the title the title the title of You know of things and I haven't I've been I've been staring away. I don't think I've been on the website in like five years But I can't say that I wish I could say that But I mean, I mean honestly the biggest my biggest turnoff was about like six years ago. I was asked I was asked to be in one
Starting point is 00:32:07 I was like, well, you could believe off. I ain't doing that crap But well you get why they asked you you're buff and you're good-looking. I mean, it's like Jesus. Yeah Yeah, but it was I wasn't that I wish it was that I wish there was said it like that, but it wasn't that so I mean, I That's what that's what cross-example and the negative stereotypes that we get in our community questions I After phoning won his first title. I interviewed him and that's one of the questions I asked him I said, hey, have you been approached by any like a porn sites or anything or pornography? This is like I don't know what your 2010 or 11 whenever he first won. And he said that
Starting point is 00:32:49 the only one he had been approached by is he was approached by a gay website who just wanted him to masturbate. So you're in good, he didn't do it, but at least you're in good company. That makes me feel a little better. Yeah, at least you're in good company. So you get out of college, you go to the gym, like a planet fitness type gym, right? Yeah, well, the gym was like more private. Like a local meathead gym, like an iron gym? Like where strong guys go?
Starting point is 00:33:28 Okay. And you start working out there. Do you start, at this point in your life, have you ever done the movements that you know you do in CrossFit now? Like were you deadlifting? Were you squatting? Were you doing any of that? No, I was like back squatting a little bit.
Starting point is 00:33:41 I wasn't front squatting. I wasn't doing max cleans. I wasn't doing max cleans. I wasn't doing hang cleans. I wasn't doing snatches. Yeah, I wasn't doing crossfit movements until I joined the CrossFit Gym when I moved here in 2021. So you're doing the normal stuff that we all did in the early days.
Starting point is 00:33:58 You were doing bench, lap pull downs. Yeah. This thing. Yeah, tricep extensions, overhead presses, dips, you know meathead stuff, bicep curls, you know just yeah curls for the girls, you know things like that. Yeah I love that shit and then so so so that you do that and how many years do you do that? Do you start competing in the Paralympics even before you find CrossFit? Yes, I started competing in the Paralympics in 2017.
Starting point is 00:34:34 That was my first. I went to a camp in Richmond, Virginia November, and had a blast. It's something that gets in you when you're in a room with the best in the country. And I'm like, I'm not that far off from these guys, and I don't have any training. I just, this is just raw talent that got me here. But as they say, talent can get you in a room,
Starting point is 00:35:04 but your character keeps you there. So that's what was very humbling. I went to my first competition in New York. What the heck did we go and Bogota, Columbia, and I did awful. I mean, I didn't get any good lifts, even though I got the weight up the way the technique was, I didn't do well. And I was very humbling. I remember going back to the drawing board like, okay, is this sport for me? Should I just hang it up?
Starting point is 00:35:31 Should I just go back and not do anything? What was your best lift in Bogota? What was your max bench there at that event? Do you remember? I think like 235 or something. Something not great. I was 120 at the time. I weighed 120 pounds. So something, something not great. But I was 120 at the time.
Starting point is 00:35:45 I weighed 120 pounds. So 60 pounds off your max. Yes. Now, okay. Right now, yes. How did you do that? You've put, since 2017, you've put 60 pounds on your bench. Yeah, consistency.
Starting point is 00:36:03 I mean, coaching helps, dieting helps. What you put in your body matters. I've learned that over the years. And just being consistent with it. I mean if there's a will, there's a way with anything. So I knew I wanted to, I'm still going to keep pushing because I really want to get over the 300 mark. I reached my max back squat. I'm probably never gonna go heavier than I did last Monday. I hit 405 on back squat and I was like, you know what? I told myself many, many years ago, once I hit 405 on back squat, I'm just gonna... Is there a video of that?
Starting point is 00:36:42 No, no, no video. But I can probably do that. Well, I could definitely do that again someday and I'll take a video. Maybe a few weeks after the CrossFit game. Hey, I had this chick on and I can't remember her name. And I might mischaracterize her, but I think she's like the most successful female bencher in the world. She's not a big woman. Um, and her thing, she, her whole thing is sets of five. Do you know who I'm talking about?
Starting point is 00:37:08 Maybe someone, maybe someone will, um, say her name in the comments. I want to say she's won her like division, you know, gazillion times and she's older too. I want to say, Oh, Jen Thompson. Do you know that name? Oh yeah. She's like 40. Yeah. I follow her on, oh Jen Thompson. Do you know that name? Oh yes, she's like 40. Yeah, I follow her on Instagram. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Yeah. I think she
Starting point is 00:37:31 lives in North Carolina, I believe. Yeah, I think she might be just like an absolute, she's, she's big, she's like a benching prodigy. I mean obviously she puts in all the work. Let me see if I can find her on Jen Thompson. Yeah, I have her, I follow, I have her. She was in the running up becoming a parapower lifting coach. 11 time IPF world powerlifting champion, IPF Hall of Fame 2019, World bench press record 145.5 kg. This is her benching 352. Oh no, she's back squatting. Okay. So do you, do you, what is the, what is the trick? What is the best weightlifting regiment to increase your bench?
Starting point is 00:38:43 Like do you have it like, yeah, man, I always, every Monday, I do three sets of five as heavy as I can go or 90% or is there something that you've done? Because that's a pretty impressive resume to put 60 pounds on your bench. Yeah, yeah, I've, well, I've done a lot of accessory work. I'll start there. Like, I need to strengthen my triceps, strengthen my back and strengthen my shoulder.
Starting point is 00:39:07 So I knew I needed to get those stronger. I always have relatively a strong chest but my coaches would definitely implement, hey you need to strengthen your back, you need to strengthen your triceps and you need to strengthen your shoulder. So I've worked on that but I as far as getting an increase, I've started to do a lot of negatives. So basically, like I would get to like about 10 to 20 pounds heavier than what I can actually lift and like get it off the bar and then fight it down and then have someone lift it off of me. And like, just like do it do like five, five sets or five reps of that. And that's helped me tremendously because it just gives your body like the used
Starting point is 00:39:54 to like holding that type of weight and just like being able just to control it, at least on the way down and then like even like try to lift it up, but you get a little bit of assistance just Just so you can just build those type just build those muscles up. That's what helped me a lot doing negatives and That's what um, when I first started CrossFit, I hung some rings under a set of stairs and Every day I just did negative muscle ups because I remember glassman saying that like hey, that's how gymnasts get strong Everything is fucking negative every like all their strength is built from doing negatives like the Iron Cross, right? Just do negatives just do negatives and that's how and so I would do Um, I would do one negative on the first minute, you know start on the top of ring muscle up
Starting point is 00:40:39 And then and then to the next minute and then I would try to just go up to see how many negatives I could do But warm up so I wouldn't hurt myself start with you know, really slow And then one day I could just do a muscle up so easy like just all of a sudden. It was like nothing It's not the best feeling. Oh, it's so great. It's crazy because negatives are so like un um Unsatisfying They're so not satisfying Unsatisfying. They're so not satisfying.
Starting point is 00:41:06 You know what I mean? Like you're just being, like you would say, you're just being bullied by the weight. You're just being bullied by the movement, but you kind of have to like bend the knee to it. That's a good, I never thought I'd go out that way, but yeah, that's a good point. So you'll put 300, you'll put, what's the most negative you've done with a bench?
Starting point is 00:41:24 315. So you load the bar with 315, you'll get a spotter and you'll be like, alright Fight it now and just walk like that Yeah, all the way to all the way to your chest All the way to my chest. Yes crazy Well, I mean I think it's a psychologist like a mental thing when you get the 300 it's like I don't know I think it's a psychology, like a mental thing when you get the 300, it's like, I don't know, I think it's more mental for me. There was a time in my life where I really wanted to bench 225. I never got there, but like I got up to 182 pounds and I just could never bench 225.
Starting point is 00:42:00 It was crazy, but maybe it was mental. Possibly. I mean, that's, I'm's just or I'm just a pussy My chest looks like I could bench 500 it sucks Hey, what about doing negatives? What if you don't have a spotter right and you just put one like and you put a weight on that You know Like you could roll off of you if it got weird or like, you know
Starting point is 00:42:25 You could put 135 on and even if you can't lift it you could rest for a few seconds You know, I mean, let's say you did max 135 and it got stuck You know that you it's not good. You could just wait and then after you know, 30 seconds, you could push it off you Do you think that you get gains from that too if you didn't have a spotter to do negatives with a doable way? Yeah, especially if you don't have clips on, you can just dump it. Right. If, if, if need be, but if I, if I want to like get some stabilization and that I don't have a spotter, I'll just un-rack it and just hold it.
Starting point is 00:42:59 I'll just unwrap it and just hold it, hold it like, you know, like when I'm fully like engaged and then just just wrap it back. Do you not use clips? Unless I have a spotter now. Yeah, smart. And have you had to dump the weight before? Have you got weight trapped on you before? I have not. I got stuck one time at the gym actually I'm at now. I'm just working crossfit.
Starting point is 00:43:26 And luckily Victor was there. It was a simple way. It was 185. So I'm doing my sleep. I think I was on like rep eight or something. And like I hit something on the side and I was like, oh crap. And like I got stuck.
Starting point is 00:43:42 It was a scary feeling. But he like, he heard me and like, he ran over and grabbed the one side, but that was the only time I ever got stuck. Like when I was like worried, like panic. Do I know Victor was it the Victor that was on this show? Uh, Victor asked it. The one arm guy. Yes, sir.
Starting point is 00:44:02 Yes, sir. Yeah. That's saved by a one arm guy. Yes, sir. Yeah. He's a, he's aarmed guy. Yes, sir. Yeah, he's a great guy He's intense. Yeah And then um, and then this new river is that your one and only CrossFit gym you've been to Like a few drop-ins, but yeah, this is going CrossFit that I've been a member of. And tell me about your very first day.
Starting point is 00:44:27 Like, why did you go in there? Did you know what you were getting yourself into? Did you know that like, hey, you're going to go from like hanging out on the bench to like going to the pain cave? No, I really didn't know what I was getting myself into. I had a friend that I was friends with in Pittsburgh and then he moved here about 10 years ago and he used to go there. So he told me a little bit about it. I knew I wasn't going to be going there and like bench pressing but I didn't I wasn't fully I didn't know I was going to tell like like the pull ups and the amount of cardio that goes like the high intensity interval type training
Starting point is 00:45:06 that goes into CrossFit, I was not prepared for, but it all worked out. Did you do an on-ramp or did you go straight and just straight into classes? I'm straight into classes. And how did you know how to do those movements? How did you know how to do cleans? And did they just come over and teach you?
Starting point is 00:45:23 They're like, no, Blaze, like this. Basically, yeah, they just taught me. I mean, I was, I was trying to do cleans with the running shoes and they were like, yeah, you need to get some like med comms or, you know, something, you know, shoes that you can actually lift in. So it's just been a process. I mean, Victor actually helped me with my double unders because he double unders real good with one arm. And I'm like, how the heck do you do that? And he's like, you can do the same thing. And so it's just all about the process. The power of showing up.
Starting point is 00:45:57 I just kept showing up every day and just get to learn things. And did your body composition change quickly? Not quickly, but it took some time. I was relatively fit going in. I was strong going into the cross-body when I walked into the cross-body gym. But I was just a different type of strong. I was like a powerlifter type strong. I wasn't like CrossFit strong, but yeah, I wasn't like a fat log. So I had some type of fitness in me already. It's just, just had to change some things up and get my heart rate, you know, good. And you had that foundation from wrestling from zero to five minutes. And you had that foundation from wrestling from zero to five minutes
Starting point is 00:46:48 You knew even if even if you weren't still there from wrestling You knew they're like hey, I can go really fucking hard where someone's trying to stop me from doing something for what? Is the longest what how long were the matches in wrestling are they five minutes? I think the three three minute periods Okay, so you knew so you knew that you were keeping I think the three, three minute periods. Okay. So, so you knew, so you knew that you were keeping, do you remember, did you used to get just absolutely exhausted from wrestling? Oh yeah. I mean, especially like in the beginning of the season, like, I mean, I feel the
Starting point is 00:47:19 best, the only way to get in shape with wrestling is by wrestling. I mean, that's just my honest opinion. You can run all the hills. I mean, that stuff helps. But the more I wrestled, the more in shape I got with wrestling. So like further along in the season, I was okay. Someone asked, Kevin Doyle,
Starting point is 00:47:40 does Blaze put his feet on the bench while he lifts? That's a great question. I do not. I have an overlay bench. That's what we use in the Paralympics. So we're able to put our feet at the end of the bench. So we have some stability. So there's something over your feet that I can't see right there? Like a sit-up bar you put them under? No, no, no. So you see on the bottom, like how it's wider at the bottom. So there's something over your feet that I can't see right there like a sit-up bar you put them under or no
Starting point is 00:48:05 No, no, so you see uh on the bottom like how I get it's wider at the bottom like it's like it's like it's like It's like a big square. Yeah Because on like a bench is this one narrow Like rectangle but like oh, okay. So it's just you put something that widens the bench Yes, yes, and that thing doesn't feel like it's gonna teeter off is that thing heavy? No, it's not heavy Hey is that 225 yes, yeah, that's what I've never done Do you bench every day It depends if I have a competition coming up I try'll probably bench about three to four days a week.
Starting point is 00:48:46 But typically during the week, I do two days, a real heavy day and a moderate day. But if I'm competing for World Championships next year in Egypt, I'll be benching about four times a week. And do you like to be sore? soreness something like you go for? Or no. Yeah, I don't mind. I don't mind it. I know sores a part of the growth process So I don't like being so sore. I can't move CrossFit has done that to me a few times Yeah But no, no, I don't mind being so it's fine. No, it's part of the sore. I know it's part of the process.
Starting point is 00:49:25 I know it's going to heal. As long as I'm not injured or something's not hurt, I'm okay. Because I know it's just a season that's going to go away eventually. When you go to the games this year, will there be, are you prepared for all the movements? Is there anything that Kevin could program that you're like, oh shit Like I just can't do that like freestanding handstand push-ups or I don't I don't know. I'm just making that up but Well this year I'm pretty confident I can do all the movements. I've been working on my chest to bar pull-ups and What's the other one? I'm working on my rope climbs. I
Starting point is 00:50:06 Think that's it everything else else I feel is just, I mean this is the first year they're coming out with all seven workouts before we show up. So that's different for me. I mean the past, the previous years we were finding out like the day of what the workout was going to be. So I'm a little bummed there's no double unders this year. I've worked really hard this off season on my double on double unders, but it's all good. They're eventually, eventually be on the workouts. I hope, but yeah,
Starting point is 00:50:40 and all the workouts are out now, like as we speak, they're all out. Yes. And, and when you, when you look like as we speak they're all out. Yes And and when you when you look at have you done any of them? The first one I want to I want to say it's 1,100 Yes, two of them so far Yeah, i'm gonna i'm gonna do two this weekend that'll be it So you won't do all seven. No, no.
Starting point is 00:51:11 And is there a reason for that? Or there's some that you're like, Ooh, that's going to hurt so much. I don't want to have a memory of it. Or is there a reason why you won't do all seven? No, I mean, that's like two or three of them are like, basically just like, like there's a max clean. That's one. Um, what there's like a shuttle run. Uh, I'll probably try to do that one. I'm trying to think what all, let me pull up my phone sheet here.
Starting point is 00:51:39 Um, Blaze, when you look at those workouts, do you think too? Like, okay, this one I can beat them in this one I have to do damage control in this one. I'm just I need to get in between Mikey and um, uh, tim Like do you look at it like that? 100? Yeah There's a lot of strategy that goes in the crossfit. So Yeah Yeah, i've i've been uh, teeing it up like, you know, there's a there's a workout that I'm just hoping to get top five
Starting point is 00:52:08 Because it's just my weak movements But you know, I'm gonna go there with over mine have fun give my all and See where the chips lay, but I'm gonna you know, I definitely want to come back with something. So that's the ultimate goal they don't have a woman short stature division, right? I don't believe so. I think Aaron's not doing it this year. So, uh, yeah, I don't, I don't believe so. So in the past, there was only one person in the division.
Starting point is 00:52:38 Yeah. Yep. Only one. I wonder why, I wonder what the, what the deal is with that. Um, I wonder what the deal is with that. I wonder what the deal is. Are short stature people pretty split, men and women, like just population-wise? Yeah, yeah.
Starting point is 00:52:55 Like 50-50 or whatever, men and women are split regularly. I think there's a little bit more women than men. Demographic for male, female, dwarfism. Let me see. I would probably say there's probably more female, to be honest. I wonder why CrossFit hasn't taken off with the females. I don't know, just needing more awareness to it. I mean, this is fairly new, especially for our division. So I think it will eventually grow.
Starting point is 00:53:30 I mean, this is our first year ever having 10 athletes in our division, like a full staff division. So it'll come with time. I'm confident we'll get that division built up. Who's the youngest guy? Do you know how the youngest guy in your division? I think it might've been, might be Sean Dolphin. I think he is about 23.
Starting point is 00:53:56 Oh, okay, so he's young, young. Yeah, yeah. He just graduated college a year or two ago, so he could be like 23, 24, I'm not too sure. Do you enjoy it? The scene, is it a good scene? A wheel walk across the game in San Antonio, it is a good scene?
Starting point is 00:54:15 Yeah, I mean, from the pictures I've seen, I mean, they've done a great job when they was hosting in Raleigh. So I'm expecting it to be really nice in San Antonio, especially now that it's under the CrossFit umbrella. So it should be a good time. I guess I mean, as opposed to let's say maybe the Paralympics or wrestling meets you've
Starting point is 00:54:37 been to, like you go there, you feel at home, you have good camaraderie with the other dudes. 100%. Oh, that's no comparison there. I mean, I feel way more welcomed and no, no, not on the US or PC, but I feel way more welcomed and worldwide and a more personal bowl with worldwide and US or PC or with the wrestling. There's no, there's no, there's no doubt about that. Community's better. Please please for me It's more my cup of tea. I should say I mean with us. I can see it's strictly business to be honest with you And it's like, you know, you can't do the weight or just find someone else to replace you and you're just you know
Starting point is 00:55:19 Kind of some number unfortunately, but Survival of the fittest yeah wait you get old and CrossFit we throw you aside too who will go with you from your family what support we take mom dad why my fiance is gonna meet me there and then my coach, the coach, I'm usually a CrossFit buzz. So we'll be traveling together there. And then my fiance, I shouldn't say girlfriend anymore. I'll get in trouble. But I still call my wife, my girlfriend.
Starting point is 00:55:57 It's fine. So yeah, she'll be there. So it'll be nice. I never had really support. Why should I? That's a lie. I've had support, but I've never had like direct support like from like family and friends at a competition before.
Starting point is 00:56:13 So this would be nice. I have a coach like right there in my ear all the time and then have someone that's clapping for me all the time. That'd be cool. Blaze, are you gonna have kids? Yeah, that's clapping for me all the time. That'd be cool. Blaze, are you gonna have kids? Yeah, that's the goal. Yeah. And would you, if you, when you have kids,
Starting point is 00:56:35 what will you do, like what sports will you put them in? Like is there, now that you know, you see CrossFit and you know wrestling, have you thought about that? Like what disciplines you want them to get into? From the top of my head, if I have a girl, I would want her to get into softball and CrossFit and, um, and weightlifting. If I have a boy and if it's average height, I would like him to get into football and
Starting point is 00:57:09 Basketball I Mean pretty much anything everything But if it does, but my kid has dorkism, I would want him to definitely get involved in the US RPC and CrossFit What what's the US RPC? What is that The United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee. Oh, but you're not saying wrestling. You wouldn't get them straight into like jiu-jitsu or wrestling or some sort of combat sport? Possibly. We would have to see. I mean, because depending on the neck and things, I don't know. I'll have to see. Possibly wrestling. So, so I mean, because in the beginning we started and you just loved it. You love the discipline about it. You love that, you know, it made you hard. Obviously you walk around with confidence knowing you're capable at all times of
Starting point is 00:57:55 if someone needs to be, you know, have their face be put face down in the concrete, you know, you can do it. You don't think that's like an important thing. Like I didn't have that confidence as a kid and I want my kids to have that confidence. Not because I want them to utilize it but it just changes every situation for you. You're just more relaxed knowing that like no one's gonna like mash you. No I completely agree. Yeah I would get up in some type of combat. Yeah. All right. I'm gonna check on you in a couple years. Why do you want to have kids? Do you know?
Starting point is 00:58:28 Why? Yeah. I want to be a dad, man. I want to be front door famous. Yeah. You know how that feeling is. You know, you want to get in your front door and someone looks at you with their bright eyes and like, hey man, you're their world.
Starting point is 00:58:42 So it's just like, and they're, they're, they're, they're, they're your world as well. So, um, yeah, there's no question. I've always wanted that feeling. Um, I'm cool with one. I wouldn't mind to, but once one, one's good enough for me, but two would be great. A boy and a girl. So I never wanted to have kids and my mom would just tell me like, she would explain to me like, hey, you want to have that experience. I'm like, what are you talking about? And then soon as I had them, I've never heard that term. But that is exactly what it is. Every time I walk in the room, these dudes look at me like, like the love I feel from them is like love I've never felt from anyone
Starting point is 00:59:23 else. And it's it's and then you can pour that Love back into them. You're right. It is It's nuts. It's absolutely it's such a crazy experience to have that bond with people You are you are you going to work today right now? Yeah. Yeah, I work from home today. So What do you do? I'm, um, I do... I'm with a company that we do clinical trial labeling. It's a pharmaceutical company. So, it keeps me out of trouble. What does that mean, clinical trial labeling?
Starting point is 00:59:55 Like, like what label looks the best? Like product marketing? Yeah, so we deal with like label designs and basically what the sponsor or manufacturer wants us to put on the label so by the time we it comes to our building Where we have the material but it's blank. There's nothing on it. It's just the material let's see that either a bow or follow whatever the material is and then we Put like the label on top of it and then we ship it out. Are you the designer of that? I'm part of that process Are you the designer of that?
Starting point is 01:00:24 I'm part of that process Okay, you're not the guy but you're not like on Photoshop or whatever software they're doing like making it be like, okay Alright dude, well, thank you. I milked you for the whole hour. I really appreciate you coming on I know your time was tight this morning. I appreciate it I thank you so much for your time and thank you for giving me the opportunity to get on this platform. And I hope you're able to tune in for the real wide game. I'm a hundred percent tuning in. Awesome. Awesome.
Starting point is 01:00:57 And you take care. All right. Say hi to Victor for me. Will do. All right, man. Ciao. Blaise Foster. That bye. Blaze Foster. That's a cool dude. Oh damn, I meant to ask him if that's his real name, Blaze.
Starting point is 01:01:12 Damn it. Seve, you need to do behind the scenes of the dwarfs. You won't have to look up with the camera. That's true. I do shoot like this a lot. I saw a really cool picture of Alex Gazan yesterday. I got a, I got some, an email, like one of those spam emails from Toe Spacers, and it was featuring Alex Gazan. Did any of you guys see that?
Starting point is 01:01:40 It's crazy. This guy's account is pretty cool. He should post more. Blaze Foster. It's a blazelifts. Underscore32. He should post little more. Who is this texting me?
Starting point is 01:02:19 Oh, we got Kil Taylor today. That's awesome. Someone can you speak about Tua and what the PFAA would say about the NFL? Who's Tua? Who's Tua? Let me see. Tua, Tua. I'm going to Boston on Tua news. What we know about Dolphins QB,ua Tagovoloa's concussion. That guy's a quarterback? What should I go to? ESPN, Fox or CNN? I made concerns over Tua Tagovoloa's latest concussion 39 minutes ago. Damar Hamlin onto a tag of
Starting point is 01:03:26 Valo I was just trying to make a routine. Oh shit. It was Damar Hamlin who hit him the guy who? Fucking had the heart stoppage thing is that really true Let me see videos, let me see if there's a video of this hit Here's what we know about well, okay, let's see let me pull this up He's the quarterback he got drilled Let me lower this little bit kind of a tough situation Here I'm gonna show this play. He's in the shotgun Exactly one time to talk about I'm only gonna show it one time. I'm just gonna show it one time guys
Starting point is 01:04:14 What what I saw I think I saw what a lot of other people saw which is gonna saw I saw what other people saw It off with a very good play from Tua and what hasn't been a great night for him Chair reception on the board, but it's just show it dude gonna, you know show a lot of heart here on this play fourth down and for first you're Gonna see him kind of step up Oh fourth and four In the pocket, I mean again, he's trying to get the first down here. He kind of feels like now's the time to Take a hit keep the game a lot you guys know why I have to pause it because if I show more than seven seconds I get fucked
Starting point is 01:04:56 I and I you know, you see right here the more Hamlin is actually the guy who's running over Damar Hamlin or just trying to make attack's running over. Damar Hamlin. We're just trying to make a tack. Imagine naming your kid Damar. Damar. Oh my God. His name is Damar. Oh, right. No one's doing anything wrong here.
Starting point is 01:05:17 First you see. That's nothing. That's nothing. Take a hit, keep the game alive. And you know, you see right here, Damar Hamlin is actually the guy who is running over, just trying to make a tackle, right? He got a first down, we're good.
Starting point is 01:05:34 Anything wrong here. First you see the hit, you know, the tough hit there for sure. You know, but I think when you just see the hit itself, it doesn't necessarily- No, that's nothing. He's fine. Jump out as too bad. What is really concerning is how Tua is gonna react to this.
Starting point is 01:05:51 He's fine, guys. He's fine. That's nothing. Let's show it once so I can kind of describe what it... Yeah, Damar Hamley got hit in the balls. What are you guys talking about? He's fine. His first, you're gonna like watch his arms on this. I mean you see how it's it's it looks very similar to that famous really uh tough to watch. Oh he's just stretching out his arm he got his shoulder tweaked a little bit. Play from a few years ago. I mean it. Maybe was it really a concussion or was it his brainstem got fucking stretched out from going sideways?
Starting point is 01:06:26 What what's the deal someone telling what's going on? It just it it sucks There's no no other way to describe it cutting over here. I will show the other oh This guy said he was only gonna show it once but he is gonna show up more than once the guy lied in this video I know again, it's a little tough to watch so I'm just giving up I'm trying to give you why is that tough to watch warning ahead of time each time just to make sure but uh you know I mean people want to see this uh yeah people want to see this so uh I want to know what happens so uh that's what I'm doing so I'm gonna do it because that's what you guys want not because not because of me but because of what you guys want doing here but as you see I I mean, yeah, I mean, it's just.
Starting point is 01:07:09 Yeah, I don't think that are they really saying that's a concussion? I don't know. I think that's it's a tough collision. I mean, is that really a tough collision? Are they sure that's not from his neck? Sevan is one of these everybody is a loser, but me moods oh Shut your face. Hey, um when you're concussed your arms and fingers stretch out uncontrollable It looks like a stinger. Yeah, that's what I'm thinking
Starting point is 01:07:40 They said concussion I Mean, it looks like his fucking neck got it looks like it's more like what happens in the UFC when someone's head gets turned and their fucking brainstem fucking momentarily becomes disconnected from the rest of the rig. We're all thinking the same thing. I think this is a concussion and Tuas had a history of it. It just, it sucks. It sucks. It sucks. It sucks. Pat Lang, you suck. I'm in one of those moods where I'm better than everyone. I saw him running and I instantly thought, I instantly just thought he was about to get a concussion. Oh, Augustus Link is like Nostradamus. He was diagnosed with concussion six minutes after he left the field.
Starting point is 01:08:26 How do they diagnose that? What do they do? He walked back to the locker room like he was drunk. Maybe he was drunk. They said on the broadcast from the time he went down to confirm concussion was six minutes. Yeah, how do they do that? Sevan, you are better than everyone. That's why we're watching you and not Pat. I thought you guys just felt sorry for me
Starting point is 01:09:09 I honestly think that you guys just turn on your youtube and then leave the uh, leave it on you're like, okay for this tarred We'll give him a view Um, steven flores, uh, they check to see if his eyes dilate to light if not, you're fucked But is that a concussion? What is a concussion? Let me look at what a concussion is. A concussion is when your... I thought it was when your brain hits the side of your skull. And you get brain swelling. Concussions are common injuries, especially among young athletes. Most people recover. I just need to know what it is.
Starting point is 01:09:46 What's the traumatic brain injury? It's also known as a mild traumatic brain injury that temporarily affects brain functioning. Symptoms may include loss of consciousness, memory loss, headaches, difficulty with thinking. Common causes, motor vehicle, collisions, falls. Like if you just twisted your neck really hard and you had a, could that be a concussion?
Starting point is 01:10:11 Does it have to be from a hit in the head? Yeah, it's when it's shaken inside your skull. Yeah, that's what I thought. Riley, a 7-1 really needs to stay out of sports. I don't know, why is that? He's fine. He's fine. I get it that whip, I get it like if you shook a bait, but when I think of concussion, I think of it as,
Starting point is 01:10:47 well, let me say this. I think of concussion as like a blow to the head that causes something to happen to the brain, like shake inside, actual the fucking like the blob of fat that's in there. As opposed to what Kevin Ogre had done to him, something happened to his spine, right? And definitely fucked with his brain, but just his brain's ability to communicate to the legs, like his wiring got severed, right? So that guy, but that can happen, and you know, if your head gets twisted too far one far one way could fucking sever the comms between your fucking head
Starting point is 01:11:26 And the rest of your body right stretch one of the cables out or something give you a little fucking glitch And So unlike who'd that guy say I should stay out of sports unlike most fucking Lazy fucks who just don't want to know the truth or want to understand stuff. I want to understand it. Hey, expert here. Oh, okay. Here we have an expert in the house. Thank you, Tidees. Hey, expert here. It's easier to get a concussion if you have them often. Oh, is it easier? Like once, like, like they say that about, uh,
Starting point is 01:11:57 sprained ankles and dislocated shoulders, right? Once you stretch that shit out, they start happening more often. Uh, that shit out they start happening more often. Red, hot red girl on a rower. I will say we get a ton of girls out with concussions just because they do worse than their baseline test than they actually get tested a week later. They never actually had one. Oh, what, what?
Starting point is 01:12:22 See, I don't know what you're saying but I think that's up my alley. No I'm not going to do um... I don't know if I'm going to. I have a bottle of the BPC and the CJC 157 1295. No BPC 157 and 1295 in the fridge. I don't know, I'm lazy. It takes time. I like just knowing I have it in the fridge. Anytime I want, I could get juiced up. I sent you, oh here we go. Gus is like, Sevon, I sent you a video of the three concussions he had all within the same season two years ago. But, but we don't, I don't even know what a concussion is yet, even not from the wiki page. Is it just from a blow? You know what I heard? I heard that jet skiing causes micro concussions the other day. I had a major traumatic brain injury and a SCI. I don't know what that is. I've had 13 recorded concussions prior for some reason my head was a magnet.
Starting point is 01:13:33 Yeah, but is his brain scrambled eggs because the wiring got jacked up or because his head... Like, do you guys actually think that that was like a blow to his head from looking that video It looks like his neck went sideways and like maybe something got stretched out in his by his medulla oblongata That's not true Pat that's not what I'm saying Pat saying Sevan doesn't know what a concussion is therefore They probably don't exist in his brain. It's all a government scam to keep him. No, that's not true at all Listen, dude. I Just don't want to I'm just curious. I want to know the exact diagnosis. I
Starting point is 01:14:15 Think that if you have type 2 diabetes, you can take insulin to mitigate it But I also think you can stop eating sugar to cure it. That's the difference between me and you Pat. Oh Fucked you up. Shut up David David weed he didn't say anything funny yeah okay is that what it is it's the brain hitting the skull either in the front or the back yeah then I don't know if he had a concussion Yeah, then I don't know if he had a concussion Yeah, you can be concussed from whiplash yeah, that makes sense that's the baby shaking thing right you shake someone so hard the fucking brain inside the fucking skull
Starting point is 01:14:59 hits the hits the skull I Hear you I hear you they said six minutes after he went back to the back room, they diagnosed a concussion. Yeah, I don't I mean, I want to know, like, are they diagnosing it right? Like when you see a UFC fighter get hit in the jaw and his head spins around you think that's a concussion and the lights go out You think that's a concussion? Or you think that's like something gets turned off like Because some wires get pulled tight. Uh... let me see. What did you send me?
Starting point is 01:15:50 I'm not really good at pulling stuff up from Instagram Live on the show. Um... Where do I go to my... oh, messages. Uh... I don't see it, dude. I see something from, like, from like Augustus three minutes ago. Oh Shit the whole compilation of all of his head injuries Jesus Sorry, I don't see yours
Starting point is 01:16:27 Sorry, I don't see yours. Oh shit, pool boy sent me a... I think pool boy may have won the bucket hold at NorCal Classic. The workout that they took out. Oh, see, here we go Don't show Pat or David this god forbid they learn something new I hitting the jaw is usually the jaw cutting off the car Carted carotid carotid artery causing shutoff. All right. There we go. Oh wow, Jeddias Nelson. I still believe Menderath suffered a concussion last year on the bike and it was the reason for his performance at the games that year. Damn. Oh, here we go, here we go, thank you.
Starting point is 01:17:07 Wrap it up, here we go. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video.
Starting point is 01:17:15 I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video.
Starting point is 01:17:23 I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm going to go ahead and start the video. I'm believe Menderes suffered a concussion last year on the bike and it was the reason for his performance at the games that year. Damn. Oh, here we go. Here we go. Thank you. Rapid, Felicia Martinez. Thank you, Felicia. Rapid movement causes brain tissue to change shape which can stretch and damage brain cells. This damage also causes chemical and metabolic changes within the brain cells. So rapid movement of the brain. Oh, okay.
Starting point is 01:17:43 So even if you twist this way really fast and the brain stays still inside the skull cavity, you're saying even it doesn't have to be forward or backward. It could just be a twisting of the brain inside from just like a quick hit to the side. Oh, I almost gave myself a concussion. Hmm. All right. Now we're learning. Now we're learning. 11 a.m.
Starting point is 01:18:22 Where's that? I have a... There was something I wanted to show you guys. What is this? Oh. Oh, look at this. I saw this the other day. This sucks.
Starting point is 01:18:38 Fueled CrossFit. Hi friends, unfortunately the gym took on several inches of water last night during the storm. We are currently assessing damage and cleaning We will let you know when we were able to open we are thankful to everyone who has reached out and offered assistance Thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts Hurricane Francine there's a hurricane right now. This is crazy. Where is this fueled CrossFit? Damn
Starting point is 01:19:35 Damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn damn Hey, is that dangerous walking around in there? Like he could get electrocuted? Or she? Can you get electrocuted doing that? Yes, uh, Standy Randy, yes, it's been raining for 10 days straight here. Oh my god. Oh, uh, PFAA, we do not advise working out in fueled CrossFit without trained lifeguards. That's fair. Imagine that, your gym floods and all of a sudden the PFAA is there to tell you you need lifeguards. Yeah, what about getting
Starting point is 01:20:12 electrocuted? That sucks. I'm sorry guys. Damn. I want to see what it looks like outside. How does that happen? I don't really understand flooding. Is it like a concussion? Hurricane Francine, Hurricane Francine. There used to be a guy who would be like, I don't like this podcast because all he does is, we just watch him Google the whole time. Hurricane Francine.
Starting point is 01:20:57 Francine weakens but leaves 420,000 accounts without power. Accounts. Francine weakens and moves inland after lashing Louisiana AP Press. Francine weekend, Thursday striking Louisiana as a category two hurricane that knocked out power to hundreds of thousands of utility customers sent from surge rushing into coastal communities
Starting point is 01:21:20 and raised flooding fears in New Orleans and beyond. As the system moved inland, crews began cleaning roads and restoring electricity while neighborhoods and businesses started cleaning up the mess. There were no reports of death or injuries. At the Storm's Peak, 450,000 people living in Louisiana were without power based on numbers reported by the Public Service Commission.
Starting point is 01:21:47 Many of the outages were linked to falling debris, not structural damage. At one point around 500 people were in emergency shelters, officials said. Damn. Francine slammed the Louisiana coast Wednesday evening with 100 mile an hour winds and coastal tarabon perish battering a fragile coastal region that has not fully recovered from a series of devastating hurricanes in 2020 and 2021. It's summer. What are you guys doing? Why is it raining there? It's summer. I know, I know. Before anyone say anything stupid, I know. I know. That's a joke. It's a joke. It's not a joke. It's just... Just... just feigning ignorance. Oh. Oh. Oh. Oh. Here we go, guys. Ready?
Starting point is 01:23:02 I just think it's funny that it's not funny, it's bizarre that it's denar, denar, denar, denar? denar, denar, hamlin mr. hamlin that's involved in this, it's crazy okay, this is courtesy of paper street coffee I went down with another concussion today
Starting point is 01:23:22 and displayed the fencing response directly following impact. Let's break down why this occurs with an intention to raise a- I fucking knew it! I was right! I was right! Point Seve. Again, David Weed, Pat Lang, 0, Seve, 1. Awareness for traumatic brain injuries. You see 2 will lower his head and he sustains a direct axial load that compresses that that's what i said he did he got a direct axial load that that's word for word what i just said. The nar hamlin's chest compressed against his head which gave him a direct axial load. Same thing i gave your mom.
Starting point is 01:24:02 Same thing I gave your mom. Top of his head. Combine this with this rotation where his head is being knocked up to the side. And the combination of these causes the brain to rapidly accelerate and decelerate while also- Oh, nope. I was wrong. Never mind. I was wrong. I was wrong. I was wrong. Alright. Fuck it. I was wrong. Okay, I was wrong. Okay. I was wrong. Fine. I was wrong. We're rotating and twisting inside the skull causes damage and temporary dysfunction of this region of the brain called the brainstem, which is responsible for motor reflexes and even
Starting point is 01:24:33 regulating your breathing and heart rate. We like to call the brainstem the medulla oblongata. Medulla oblongata. Fencing response, which is sometimes observed after a concussion or TBI, is thought to be linked to the reactivation of a primitive reflex we all had as babies, the asymmetric tonic neck reflex. In a healthy adult, the higher brain sensors, like the cerebral cortex, usually suppress these reflexes. When the brain stem is temporarily damaged, it can block communication with the higher brain centers. This loss of control from the higher centers is thought to, it can block communication with the higher brain centers.
Starting point is 01:25:05 This loss of control from the higher centers is thought to reactivate the primitive reflexes through disinhibition. This response is now part of the NFL's no-go symptoms, which rule out a player immediately. This is the reason why the medical team ruled out Tuo within six minutes of the injury occurring. This is one of multiple concussions Tuo's had over the past few years. And it's going to raise concerns about whether he should even continue to play. Wishing him a safe and speedy recovery. Miami quarterback Tua Tangavalloa went down with another concussion today and displayed the fencing response directly following impact.
Starting point is 01:25:41 Let's break down why this occurs with an intention to raise a... I like the sound effects of the brain like like moving around in his brain. Ernest for traumatic brain injuries. C2 will lower his head and he sustains a direct axial load that compresses at the top of his head. Combine this with this rotation where his head is being knocked up to the side and the combination of these causes the brain to rapidly accelerate. Well, well, well, why are they showing that hit in the front when that's not
Starting point is 01:26:11 what happened to them? That's not what happened to them. I don't know. I'm starting to get my second run through and getting a little suspicious. Right. And decelerate while also rotating and twisting inside the skull. It's the I'm I'm right. It is, it was the rotating and twisting. the skull. It's the I'm right it is it was the
Starting point is 01:26:25 rotating and twisting I'm right. Yep. His Felicia Martinez his concussion made him unconsciously become a hood rat. Not fair enough. Yep I was right. Sorry I'm going point seven. Causes damage and temporary dysfunction of this region of the brain called the brain stem which is responsible for motor reflexes and even regulating your breathing and heart rate. Defensing response which is sometimes a... Damn I don't even know if my thumb does that. Can any of you guys even do that? you guys even do that? Damn, look at his other damn, his shit got fucked up. Observe that their concussion or TBI is thought to be linked to the reactivation of a primitive reflex we all had as babies.
Starting point is 01:27:21 Yeah, just showing impact. Yeah, but that wasn't the, it was the, what do they call it? It was the dorsal flexion. Direct lateral, whatever the fuck they called it. But it was that twisting, I think, that did it. I'm gonna give myself a point for that. Give myself a point. Yep, thank you, Gabe. And don't ever tell me to keep playing it again. That's my job. I decide if I'm gonna... I decide how much I'm gonna play. Oh, look, you sent it to both accounts. Jesus. Oh wow. Someone is, I just looked at the text messages on this phone and this guy's wanting to know
Starting point is 01:28:11 if his FID aid shipment is on the way, Jesus. What am I doing here? Send this to Susa. Can you send this guy Fidaid? Imagine checking in on your Fidaid if your Fidaid was sent to you. That's pretty funny. Just, you're lucky I saw this just recent listen for anyone who plays any contests on this show If I say you won something just go to reddit and say I never sent it to you
Starting point is 01:28:56 Oh mine didn't derive either you son of a bitch oh And this one now not god damn it Let me see Oh and this one. God damn it. Let me see. And this one. No one else. I don't care if you got your FID-8 or not. No one else send me, tell me you didn't get it. Jackasses. Okay, I just re-sent two of them to Suza. I want a 70 inch TV on this show, I never got it. I'm sorry, I apologize. Just go to Reddit with it. It's okay.
Starting point is 01:29:52 I sent it. Looks like they haven't sent it out in a while. Oh, okay. I haven't got my sponsorship money from them either. They want me to fill out all this fucking crazy paperwork Like just swing by my house and throw a bag of cash over the fence I've been also waiting for FIDAIDS. Really? You you won some that Suza just said that he can see the list of when they sent him out and they just haven't sent him out. Let me I'll ask
Starting point is 01:30:24 Actually, I'm not bugging him. I never had FID aid. I've never had FID aid The sad truth is that Tua still has less concussions. Oh shit. Here we go Let me see if I can get the SUSE calling. Let me see if we can talk to him. Hi. People are like saying they didn't get their FID aid. Can you hear me? Yeah, people are saying they didn't get their FID aid.
Starting point is 01:31:03 Yeah, it looks like the last batch that I sent out was like a couple of weeks ago. I could see it on our reporting thing. It looks like the Kate Flynn was the last one that got them. Nick cares. I got mine. Who gives a fuck. I got mine. Yeah. Nick, Tutor, Adam, Elise and Tyler have not received theirs yet. How about a Barry McCaukener and, um, some guy named Samuel. Samuel and Barry McCaukener. Okay. I don't have them on the list, but I'll add them to the list right now and then I'll comment on it. So it flags for their attention.
Starting point is 01:31:44 Hey, do we still give away, um, moving forward cases of FID eight, even though they're not a sponsor, like, do, will they still do that? You think? No, I don't think they will. I mean, we could ask, but they didn't even send out since August 3rd. So I don't know if, uh, they're going to do it after the fact. They're usually so good with that shit. Yeah. They were on top of it.
Starting point is 01:32:08 Oh shit. Someone just called me a racist for not sending a FID. They're fitted. Oh, it makes sense. Yeah. That'll do it. So you fucking racist. I'll do it.
Starting point is 01:32:18 So be it. Hey, while you're on there too, everybody know that all the affiliate video submissions, like all the confirmation emails went out yesterday. And if they submitted a video but did not get an email, one or two things happened. They spunked it up on their side and didn't submit it right. So I don't have it. Or they submitted it but I had to request to be able to open the files. And once they share the files with me, I'll resend them on an email
Starting point is 01:32:51 saying that they're good to go. But some people shared like Google drives and shit, but I wasn't actually able to access it, so I didn't send them a confirmation email. Did you guys hear that? Like if you aren't sure if your shit got submitted, panic. Hey, you guys, there are a lot of submissions. A lot. I can't believe how many there are. Like, a shitload came in at the last minute.
Starting point is 01:33:16 I'm not even sure. I might even have to call the contest off. I don't even know how we're going to view them all. I need to find... Let's ask... I mean, not make. Let's ask Brett if he'll do it. Do what? watch them all yeah I thought we were gonna take a I was going Joshua tree watch them all you promised that vacation. Okay fine Yeah, dude we have we have probably like 230 videos watch hey what if we just did a show Okay, and where we watch party Yeah, just like a five hour show
Starting point is 01:33:50 One day what is the math on that if? Every video is 90 seconds. So do two minutes Do three minutes because we because of the shit we talk and loading them up like So three times two hundred is six hundred 600 that's 10 hours 600 minutes hey you know what's crazy if for some reason we decided to publish four of these a week we'd have enough for a year if we published two a week we'd have enough for two years. How does anyone pay affiliate fees anywhere besides here? I swear to God, just send me your phone. I'll make up an affiliate affiliate.
Starting point is 01:34:31 I want to ask you, I want to ask Bill Grundler if I can just use OJ fit and start my own. Welcome to OJ fit on Wednesday. Every Wednesday you will have access to the founder on my YouTube channel. If you need any resources for running your OG affiliate, go to skool.com and type in Suza and you will have all the resources you need for a great community to help you run your affiliate.
Starting point is 01:34:59 We also have a business show on Tuesdays and a programming show on Thursdays. We also have our own games competition series called Kill Tailor, which is every Saturday morning at 8 a.m. Thank you for being a participant of OG FIT. Send your checks for $2500 a year to Sevan Matoci. Let's go two-grids. Okay, two-grids. Send your, the only place the founder of CrossFit can see and speaking on a, or sorry, OGFIT on a weekly basis. The only place that, the place that has the most resources for all affiliates.
Starting point is 01:35:36 S-K-O-O-L. You know what? We need to get a different URL for that. OGaffiliates.com and then just point it to that page. So when someone types that in, it just goes to that page. Oh yeah, we could, I could do that right now. Do you think OGfit.com is still available? Sure, yeah. Get that. Get that before fucking Bill gets it. Okay.
Starting point is 01:35:59 And then, and then also we have a very strong HR department. What we do, we do have a dress code at the facility. All women must show some side boob. If you don't have enough boob to show side boob, don't worry, exceptions will be made. Thank you. Oh my God. It's like, fuck. We fucking do everything.
Starting point is 01:36:22 We do fucking everything. I wanna, and for anyone who wants to take their business to the absolute next level, we recommend highly that you go to Two-Brain Business. Oh man, OGfit.com is taking it. Oh, why would... um, no, Bill probably has it. Why would, um, why would, uh, Chris Cooper in two brain, um, sponsor this contest? Because now we have 230 videos of fantastic stories happening inside the affiliates. I know, but it's good.
Starting point is 01:37:01 It's good for, it's good for us and it's good for because it lets us like it gives us swagger we can swing our dick around look what we did we did more than anyone in the space yeah but think but but think about it what is christian's business built off of oh what's christian's business built off gems right so the ecosystem of the gems die because hq isn't doing shit for the ecosystem and you don't have to believe me just go listen to awesome allly all in best hour of the day to realize we are all fucked if you're an affiliate that ecosystem is slowly flanking and Chris's business is did you watch that ecosystem did you watch that whole video yeah the whole no the whole video is a lot i think i got like 10 minutes left or something like that i'm 50 minutes into it or 40 minutes into it, whatever.
Starting point is 01:37:45 I'm like three quarters of the way into it and it's, it's tough. Yeah. It's tough because there's just such a conflation between, uh, how HQ should be operating as a business and affiliates. And for whatever reason, even the guys at the best hour of their day compared the two as if the websites between HQ and their affiliates should be the same. The operating should be the same. It's like, holy shit, how could you not see that they need to be two
Starting point is 01:38:11 completely different things? Like if HQ is running, that's exactly how I saw it too. We have a problem. That's exactly how I saw it too. It's like, it's like the two, it's like they, those guys weren't talking to each other almost. It was like, hey, you know, I wanted to like pause it and like call them and be like, hey, you know, one of you guys is talking about what HQ should do and one of you is talking about what affiliates should do
Starting point is 01:38:33 for best practices, but you're like, got them all mangled together. You're not distinguishing between the two. What'd you say? Conflating? Yeah. It was a mess. It was a mess. Hey, do you think do you think uh, uh, what's that guy that always has glasses on his head? I was gonna call him furry, but I know that's not right. Yeah, I call him Fergie. I've heard other people call him Fern or Fergie What about him? Yeah, I've heard he's cool. I've heard he's cool as shit. I don't actually know him No, I just was wondering if him and Osnall have have like a history or something together. Oh like in a negative way. Oh Oh cuz I don't know he didn't like content usually contentious at times. Yeah Definitely. I mean first usually pretty good with all the guests and stuff on there. Like he's always usually pretty serious like he's just always like Serious a little bit but um for whatever he's just always like serious a little bit.
Starting point is 01:39:25 But for whatever reason, he seemed like he was a little almost like condescending to Austin. Maybe I could just be reading into the wrong. Well, there's definitely a know-it-all thing for sure going on during that entire podcast. Oh, yeah, sorry. Like all three of them know it.
Starting point is 01:39:40 Yeah, all you have to do is become a member at the SubOn Podcast YouTube channel and that will be your affiliate fees. Fine, yes, garage affiliate fee, fine. Yeah, that's the garage affiliate fee. What if we, does Google allow you to have a membership that's $2,000? That's a great question.
Starting point is 01:40:00 I wonder what the highest amount you can charge for. Heidi Kroon. In the longest. HQ owes you nothing Yeah, yeah, yeah, she claimed that card last time come up with a new bit Heidi. Yeah, Heidi Barry McCaulter went to three brain business school damn Three makes sense It's tense for McCaulter
Starting point is 01:40:22 Miranda's video and cross Methodology is really good. I mean, fuck, I think she was a Flowmaster for years. Oh, did you watch that live with Miranda? No, I keep, people keep telling me how it was really good. Was it? It was, dude, she like blacked out and turned into Flowmaster mode and just crushed it. It was great. It was great. It was just a it was like an hour and however long it was our 20 hour 40 of just fucking master class on what CrossFit is. In fact, they should just do a service and next time they have one of those all hands meetings at the office just just play that and everybody should take notes. Why? God man. I wish I wish CrossFit would start like a podcast. I wish they would do something where they put out content every single day, just something easy. Because think
Starting point is 01:41:19 it like so there's this video, right? That we were just talking about where Austin's being interviewed by Jason and Fergie right and so like we could talk shit about that for the next week but if they put out content every single day we like there would be no way we could keep up with like what shit to talk about like they should just be doing like why wouldn't like that Miranda thing should have been live on their channel yeah yeah I mean they should just be having just people just just going off like for show one, have a l one trainer seminar staff on there and be like, what's the coolest thing you've ever seen in a seminar 20 minute show done just do it live Conway or right chase could do it. Did it have you looked at live shows every single day? No, I don't even I mean even I think CrossFit's real anymore
Starting point is 01:42:08 Well, I had a discussion with a friend except for when you send a check your trash hit Yeah, it's very real when they come knocking on my door for their rent seeking June 24th, hold on was that the oh, isn't that crazy? Roger Boyle just said he'd help judge the videos. That's cool, that's nice, that's nice. Awesome. I don't know if we'll take a look on it, but it's still nice to you.
Starting point is 01:42:37 Look at him, adding value. Okay, go ahead, sorry, what happened? You have a friend who did what? That I was talking with last night and I just marked a couple things here. So YouTube August 10th is a dawn on Lazar June what is happening? Holy shit. That was just a peep. My kids playing the piano. Go ahead. Oh YouTube was August 10th dawn on Lazar the next time they posted was June 21st, which was Eric O'Connor teaches a class Then you had June 10th, which was defending fitness which was Denise
Starting point is 01:43:12 Forget her last name. I should know her last name Thomas I don't think she should be representing CrossFit on the front end. By the way, I do I do not think she's a good representative of CrossFit. I do not Do I would would not use her? I would not use Denise Thomas to be in videos that represent CrossFit. I would not So we got her Oh, no, go ahead. Sorry. You didn't ask why go ahead June to June 10th of ending fitness and in their next published video after that was May 10th, rope climb instruction. So between May 10th and today, which is what?
Starting point is 01:43:54 Friday the 13th. Oh, scary. They posted four, they published four videos. Did you include the statement from CrossFit CEO Don Paul? Yes. Boy. Yes. But that's okay because as Heidi reminds us, they don't know us anything.
Starting point is 01:44:18 Hiller's video with Tyson Bajan has over, I think it's approaching 300,000 views. Oh, do you remember that Rogan clip I told you that I posted on my Instagram and I was like yeah it seems to catch some traction. Yeah. It's at 208,000 now. Wow. You're gonna you're about to pass so many comments. You're about to pass me up um on followers. You're gonna you're about to pass so many comments you're about to pass me up on followers You're gonna well your shadow band like a motherfucker. So that's like basically saying I beat you in a foot race and you don't have any legs You're about to you're about to surprise someone follow me for fuck's sake Suzy's about the past Hello Joe little stressed up I am stressed out. In fact, are we recording? Yes. Okay, then
Starting point is 01:45:11 Then I want to Make a special request. Okay, you can kick me out if you like But I want to do that Because I I need to have a meltdown. I Would like to have a meltdown. I would like to have a meltdown right now on your show. You want to have a personal meltdown? Yes. Okay. Go ahead.
Starting point is 01:45:36 Okay. Good to see you. Hello, Joe. You look a little stressed out. I am stressed out. Are we recording? Yes. Okay. What was it? Wow, that's good. That's legitimately the start of the show. Wow. I invited that guy on the show. I know. Is it a bad show I? Mean a lot of people weren't weren't big in it He's just really dry like it's really boring, but the shit that he's talks about is insane
Starting point is 01:46:15 This guy had a real meltdown on the Jimmy Dore show no shit Remember when Jimmy Dore spit water in the face of Alex I know what's wrong Remember when Jimmy Dorr spit water in the face of Alex Jones? He did? Yeah. I don't remember that. Whose show is that on? It was on the Young Turks. So back when I would argue that illegals needed driver's license with my dad, you know, when I was, when I was righteous and better than, um, I
Starting point is 01:46:48 used to watch the young Turks a lot and they were at some convention thing or whatever when they were doing a live show and Alex Jones showed up and started questioning, uh, Jake, zinc, zinc, zinc, whatever the guy who started it. Yeah. And they all like freaked out in that and a chick called them like a fat fuck or something when she was supposed to be like the perfect little liberal and never call anybody names. And then Jimmy door snuck around like a little bitch and spit water at Alex Jones' face. And ever since I watched their that interaction, I never watched the Young Turks again. And then like a year later, I realized how incredibly
Starting point is 01:47:23 retarded everybody is in that show. But yeah, he's spitting his face. Pretty funny. Wow. What did Alex, did Alex Jones try to fight them? No, no, how I've shown this, they just like filmed it. And this was like when they were being like rushed out by everybody. Cause they stormed his stage and stormed his show. It's pretty crazy.
Starting point is 01:47:41 If you just Google search probably like Alex Jones, Jimmy door or something like that, I'm sure it'll populate. Did Jimmy Dore used to be a douche canoe? Yeah. But he's not anymore? 100%. I mean, I wouldn't say he's not anymore. I haven't really seen much of the recent, but he's definitely seemed like he's woken up and seen the light. Yeah.
Starting point is 01:48:04 Heidi Krum, I hope if I come on Seve's show, I hope he sp I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:48:12 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry.
Starting point is 01:48:20 I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I mean this was like 10 years ago or something I have friends Who if you say the word Christian in front of them like if you talk about church or Christian Like you just say the word Christian and their face starts to contort right or like if you read a Bible verse to them Their face starts to contort right or like if you read a bible verse to them their face starts to contort
Starting point is 01:48:51 Or they like completely tune out. It looks like they bit into a lemon and and and someone fucking kicked them in the taint at the same time right These are my same friends who are arguing that it's fine For the city of minnesota To play six minutes of islamic prayer over loudspeakers five times a day. Did you see that that passed in Minneapolis? Now, really? Yes. Islamic prayer now. I think it passed.
Starting point is 01:49:14 So now I don't know if you've ever been in one of those cities where they do that. But I've been in a bunch of those cities. And so basically, you know, those giant speakers that they have on ice cream trucks where the audio is just fucking horrible So you'll be like somewhere like fucking I don't know somewhere in Indonesia or Syria or wherever all those fucks of places I've been and then you'll just hear six times a day And you just hear this fucking the most ear piercing just it's cool if you're visiting like for like, you know a day or two Yeah, but for six minutes five times a day and
Starting point is 01:49:53 and they they want to express some sort of tolerance to that when Those people can't even it's so weird this fucking liberal fucking tolerant they they it's the shit they want to tolerate they want to tolerate six Jews being shot in the head and Say it's Israel's fault even though those other guys did it. I don't get how these people work You why why do you want cities taken over by fucking Muslims? There's no cool. Just so you guys know there's no Someone tell me a cool Muslim city that you've been to And I'm not anti Muslim all my Muslim friends are cool shit by the way They're all cool, but you tell me one city one country. That's cool with that Muslims run tell me
Starting point is 01:50:39 I bet you I've been there tell me which one is cool It's fucked up. It's crazy Why can't they just live here and like do their own thing and just play the prayer in their house? Why do they have to play over the whole city? I? Haven't I don't think I've been to Iraq I Don't think I've been to what plays the music you mean like is probably hooked up it's probably hooked up to an iPod No It's just those speakers that they have on ice cream trucks and they're all over the city
Starting point is 01:51:27 I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, I'm like, pointed in that direction Yeah, they're not human you can Do that. I feel like it can't be anything done by the city or the state But the crazy part is this like and they're like what about what about bells from churches? It's like dude
Starting point is 01:51:57 What are you fucking killing kidding me? No one you're comparing it to bells world's largest religion Mike McCasky. What is he talking about? Google? Facebook? Right. Right. Yeah, we can talk about that. Facebook has more users than any religion in the world. I actually don't remember hearing it in Dubai. They do it in Dubai too, of course they do. I actually don't remember hearing it in Dubai. They do it in Dubai too, of course they do. I just don't remember hearing it there. Mostly probably because I feel like in Dubai, I was probably inside.
Starting point is 01:52:34 It'd be like crisp, like nice high quality sounding in Dubai. I feel like where does there where does when does your tolerance end? It's like this thing with the eating the dogs thing It's so fucking crazy that people are surprised by that like dude. Have you not fucking been out of the United States? They eat like go to Africa. They fucking eat everything and everything is for sale in the market same with China Just leave the of course, they're eating fucking dogs and cats and geese and everything i say that with no judgment i don't know why we don't eat dogs
Starting point is 01:53:17 but but don't like to think that like dude kids are being kidnapped left and right in this fucking country like you don't think that they're eating fucking dogs? It's fucking crazy that anyone doubts that. Eating geese is normal. Yeah, it's all normal. It's just like, what do you want to do? Culturally, do you want, do you want, do you want, do you want that to be here? You just have to be like, hey, no, we're gonna draw some lines culturally.
Starting point is 01:53:48 We want to keep some things like a certain way. I do. I don't want to, I don't want to, I don't think I want to live in a society. Call me closed-minded, but where would they eat dogs? But maybe I'm wrong. I'm open to that being wrong. But I definitely don't want tampons in the boys bathrooms. That's ridiculous. That sounds pretty close-minded. Yeah, it is. And it is, it is close-minded. I don't wanna shoot Jews. I don't wanna put Jews on their knees and shoot them in the head.
Starting point is 01:54:15 And what's crazy, all these people that I know have this tolerance, like some of them are fucking like Armenians and Jews. It's like, you do realize there's only like six million Armenians left in the world and they're surrounded by fucking Muslim countries who fucking hate them because they're fucking Christians. You do realize that Israel is surrounded by a fucking billion Muslims and there's fucking 12 million of them. Let them in slowly and convert them not fucking god, I can't imagine. Oh, Nellie, I was offered dog in the Philippines from a street vendor,
Starting point is 01:54:58 but I passed on it like pussy, like a pussy. Oh. Man. What an exp- I just opened this door and I got like, poor fucking- What an experiment we're running in this country, huh? Yeah. Been running it for a while. Oh shit, I heard the garage door open. That's my favorite sound
Starting point is 01:55:30 What are you doing tomorrow? Oh Dude I'm so excited about tomorrow I don't know why I guess you know what I actually get tomorrow's the UFC. I should have Darien on I Wonder what Darien's doing. Oh, yeah, I got canceled. I should have Darien on. I wonder what Darien's doing. Darren's got canceled. I should have Darien on. Maybe I'll have them on tonight. Oh, should I do a crossfit games update show tonight?
Starting point is 01:55:51 Do I do with John and the gang? What are you going? Yeah. Here's the update that things are still whining and complaining. And we have no idea what's going to happen to the future of the crossfit games. Yeah. I like it.
Starting point is 01:56:04 Who's this Pedro? I was thinking about driving out tomorrow morning. Wait, hold on. Oh, really? Oh, he had Will Moore add on. Yeah. Oh, you're thinking about driving out here tomorrow morning? Oh, to sign the shirts and bring me my Trump shirt. My James Drake shirt.
Starting point is 01:56:19 Yeah. So I was thinking maybe I'll just get up early and drive out. We could do the show. And then it's my niece's first birthday, so I was thinking maybe I'll just get up early and drive out we could do the show and then um, It's my niece's first birthday. So I gotta be back. But if I cruise out in the morning Get there a little bit before seven And then basically just take off afterwards. It'd be fine, dude If they bring a cake out for her Just take it and fucking throw it out in the street and i'd be like I will not stand here and let you feed a fucking
Starting point is 01:56:42 one-year-old sugar You fucking Stand here and let you feed a fucking one-year-old sugar you fucking Now they're pretty they're good they're good I Would bring her an apple sugar. I would bring her a basket of berries Listen you listen people do not feed your kid sugar It for as long as you can you their birthday's their birthday. I know, I know. I know. They say a little bit's not going to hurt.
Starting point is 01:57:09 Oh, yeah, you're going to program. You're depriving. You're depriving. Do not give a child sugar absolutely under no circumstance until they're fucking over to under no circumstance. No juice, no fucking lemonade, no, like nothing. No cake at their birthday, no ice cream. They don't know.
Starting point is 01:57:27 You're doing it for your own selfish reasons. Oh, nevermind. Sean says, they can use some fluoride to clean their teeth. Oh, okay, that's fine. All right, nevermind, fuck that. Give him sugar. Even the birthday parties are kind of just for the parents until they're like four, right? It's all for the fucking parents. It's fucking insane.
Starting point is 01:57:56 I don't have any kids. It's fucking insane. Surround yourself, surround your kids at their fucking birthday party. Let grandma read some fucking Dr. Seuss to him or whatever some funny shit I'll never forget on obby's second birthday. Uh Haley's mom came over and she read a shell silverstein story to obby and he fucking was he laughed for fucking 10 minutes straight Like I thought he I thought he was gonna fucking die. He couldn't even breathe. He was laughing so hard I should find that video and post it
Starting point is 01:58:28 Leah Fraser when we lived in the Philippines my dad hit a dog that ran in front of a car a man who worked there took It home to dinner as a child. I was shocked the man thought we were crazy to waste it. Yeah, I was on the Nairobi Mombasa Highway and I was on the Nairobi Mombasa Highway and a bus like a minivan, because their buses are minivans there, like Toyota minivans, and they packed them and people had hit an elephant and... fucking there were bodies and shit strewn all over and people came out of the bush and instead of tending to people they started just chopping the elephant up to get the meat from it I was like yeah they got a day today you got to do day today can't let it go to waste yeah those people are fucked fuck gotta get that
Starting point is 01:59:21 elephant Gotta get that elephant. Like you're surprised Haiti. Do you know the history of Haiti? Have you ever looked into the history of Haiti? No. It's crazy, dude. It's a country that shares an island with the Dominican Republic. And the whole island is black people, but it's shades of black.
Starting point is 01:59:44 And they have a hierarchy based on how dark you are. It's a wild place. It is so wild. And the Haitians, I think Haitians are the only, and I use this term lightly, successful slave revolution. Meaning, I think it was a French, they were French slaves, and I think they did a revolution there to fight back against their slave owners and they won. And I also think if I remember correctly, that's how the United States got the Louisiana purchase because France needed to raise money to build ships and shit
Starting point is 02:00:19 to send over there and try to fucking win the war with Haiti. And then the United States has just fucked Haiti and the Dominican Republic. It's been a pawn of like so many administrations for like money laundering and horrible shit. The Clintons did horrible shit there. Bush did horrible shit there. Like basically, this part I'm a little foggy on,
Starting point is 02:00:44 but I think every time we get an administration in this country, the new administration tries to help the, like, so Clinton, like Bush wanted one leader there, so he helped them overthrow it and put that leader in, and then Clinton came in and he wanted a different leader there, so he helped them overthrow it, and it's just fucked. I think it's just a giant money laundering. It's fucked. And the people there can't, there's nowhere to go.
Starting point is 02:01:08 I mean, it's hell on earth. And when I was in Dominican Republic, their biggest crop was sugarcane, right? So they were killing it for a while. And you know who was there? Dole was there. You know, the pineapple people, and they had crazy sugar cane fields there. And, but they needed people to work in them. So they brought in a million Haitians to work the sugar cane fields there across the border, because it's a small island
Starting point is 02:01:35 and they just crossed the border over there. But they never gave any of them IDs, passports or anything. And then the United States switched from using sugar cane as their primary sugar to beat sugar. And all those people were out of work and stuck in Dominican Republic with no ID it's fucked I made some documentaries over there on the island little short documentaries it's fucked it's a mess it's bad I mean it's like you know what I mean no electricity no running water, people living in just crazy squalor. Squalor? Is that a word? Squalor? Do you still have those documentaries?
Starting point is 02:02:11 They're somewhere, yeah, probably on some hard drive. I made them for a company called Vitamin Angels. We went there. The premise of this company, Vitamin Angels, was that vitamin A deficiency was the leading cause of childhood blindness. So we would go over there and just get, we traveled all over the world just giving kids in these horrible places around the world just crazy high doses of vitamin A. And I guess if you, if you, in these pills it was in some sort of oil
Starting point is 02:02:48 Oil based pill and that basically could last years you could give them the dose so big that last years I don't know if it's but the efficacy is of that, but that's just what I remember Hades it's the most Hades the most dangerous place in the world and there's not even a war going on there. Just think about that Yeah, I was in a conversation with someone today and they were like, they were telling me places it's like not illegal to be gay in Muslim countries and they're like in Sudan and Turkey, it's not illegal to be gay. I'm like, Sudan? You think Sudan's a fucking country? Like I don't even have to Google Sudan and I can just tell you like that's not a country. That's a like a like a, I don't know what you call Sudan but it is fucking scary
Starting point is 02:03:31 there and I've been to some scary fucking places. The Sudan. Mexico kind of is a country I mean they got their government has control of like most of it but there's huge swaths they don't have control over. Hey is um is tampon Tim gonna debate JD Vance? Tampon Tim? I really want to see that. um jd vance I really want to see that I really want to see that
Starting point is 02:04:16 Is it going to be a three on one again Uh, I don't know What's that lady's name who was interviewing him on ABC? What's her name? I want to see her Instagram. She must be getting destroyed. Lindsey Lindsay, Lindsay, Lindsay Davis, Lindsay Davis. What was that lady's name? Is that a name Lindsay Davis? No. Hmm. Oh, this guy, Bo, Bo Bassett that, uh, blaze talked about, um, is a Jesus guy.
Starting point is 02:05:31 He says Jesus train. I wanted, um, I asked this guy blaze. He said he was bullied in college cause it wasn't very diverse, right? And I wanted it wasn't diverse. Yeah. Like he said, there weren't a lot of that because he went to college there where he went to college. It wasn't very diverse.
Starting point is 02:05:48 I want to see. Oh, OK. And Zee Davis, Lindsey, I wanted to hear. I asked him, I said, can you give me some examples? But I couldn't get any examples, but I so wanted to know. I so wanted to fucking know Oh, yeah, she's getting destroyed on her IG Yep, the first comment is, is why did you lie about late term abortions? Have you ever heard of the DC five?
Starting point is 02:06:30 There are several states that will allow a viable baby to be born through a botched abortion and do nothing to provide health care to save its life. Yes, they will just let it lie there and die. You lied to the American people to prop up your sorority sisters and you've lost any shred of credibility you may have ever had. And then someone writes, exactly most states do them. They need to come forward if they have any integrity left and correct themselves. Unreal. Worst moderator of all time. You ain't no journalist. You really sold out on the debate. Horrible reporting. When will you retire? You're not a journalist. You should be fired. You should be fired. You're trash. Despicable. I guess you failed to do real journalism research. God, she's pathetic.
Starting point is 02:07:15 I didn't really like her outfit either. What's that with the, what's that with these shoulders? I'm bringing back shoulder pads. What's that with these shoulders? I'm bringing back shoulder pads. What's that with those shoulders? Yeah, she's getting just absolutely destroyed. All these people that submitted videos did it so wrong. Did you see in 2012 there were three mentions of Kamala Harris on our wiki page being black and now in 2024 there's 25 mentions of it Yeah And did you see there are racing references there used to be like 47 references to Epstein
Starting point is 02:08:17 Jeffrey Epstein on Bill Clinton's Wikipedia now in the last two years. It's like down to like three Someone's going through and just scrubbing, changing history. It's fucking crazy these times they live in. And that is crazy. You do not have access to the spot. I wonder if she's embarrassed that she interjected. It remind me of when Tanner Shuck was on here and I interjected. I was supposed to be the moderator and I didn't.
Starting point is 02:08:49 I wonder if she was embarrassed. I wonder if when she said that she was like, ooh. No, she probably got applauded for it by her superiors. Brianna, it's so funny how they said it's awful to talk about someone else's race when Trump is the reason we know Warren lied about hers. Yeah. Oh, but she's 1% Cherokee. Cherroquois.
Starting point is 02:09:16 Cherroquois, quois, quois. She's a... What's her name? She's running Lightfoot, Warren. She's running Lightfoot Warren. She's Warren Lightfoot. Asymmetric ears, Kamala is going to be president. Let that sink in. I mean, to be honest, it probably, like in the short term, it does not affect me at all.
Starting point is 02:09:46 I mean, I use very little hospital resources and I live in my bubble. I know everybody likes to get all up in arms about who's in the White House and all that shit. It does matter, but really your local government is going to far more affect your everyday living and what you do inside your own fucking house and how you operate your own shit is going to have way more of an effect than any president will. Not to diminish the fact that it is still important, but triage that shit. Your shit's in shambles and your finances are a wreck and you have no game plan for your future.
Starting point is 02:10:34 The president at that point does not matter. BlueS42, our biggest mistake as citizens is thinking any government is on our side We should be picking which government is easiest to defend against If Trump gets rid of overtime taxes that matters, Susa If Trump gets rid of overtime taxes that matters, Suza. Someone said. Sure, but allocation of your... Allocation of the current money you have now and your ability to understand the tax law is going to matter far more than some break or not break that may or may not be given at some time.
Starting point is 02:11:20 Hey, did you see about what Warren Buffett's doing? What? He's fucking... Converting all his dollars into yen? He's fucking pulling out of the fucking stock market, dude. Well, I mean, he can't just pull out of the stock market. He has multiple billions of dollars into it. He pulled, I think I saw yesterday, he pulled out $968 million out of something. Yeah, but he might just be shifting a position because I mean, like how much does...
Starting point is 02:11:51 They said he's sitting on like 37... First out of halfway. They said he's sitting on $37 billion cash now. Wow. Yeah, that's nuts, right? I can't find the article. Warren Buffett's selling. Let me type in selling. It would seem very weird that he's sitting on that much cash. That's like kind of concerning.
Starting point is 02:12:19 Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway has sold billions worth of Bank of America shares. Oh, maybe that's what it was. Bank of America and Apple he's pulling out. Warren Buffett is selling Apple stock and buying this little known stock instead Warren Buffett built Berkshire Hathaway into one of the largest companies in the world after famously eschewing technology stocks for years Berkshire surprised Wall Street. Hmm iPhones account for 45 percent of Apple's revenue That's nuts their biggest sale of Apple iPhones was in 2022. Isn't the iPhone 16 out now? Is it? I think so.
Starting point is 02:13:15 Probably the same exact thing as the other iPhone. If it is, I'm getting it. Oh shit. Oh shit. Oh shit. How did I not know this? Damn, I knew a tech thing before you did, look at that. That fucking hurts. Oh look, Apple selling Sporty Beth's vibrator too. It connects directly up to your iPhone so you can control how hard it vibrates
Starting point is 02:13:50 Let me tell you about the new iPhone what's what let me see what's going on here with this new iPhone I Always have to have the most recent I'm a sucker It can mow your front yard It can mow your front yard. Desert titanium strengthens, oh it's like the Kamala campaign, strength and beauty. It's incredibly strong and impressively light. It comes from 100% recycled aluminum. Those are the fucking first features they tell you about it That's not a good sign, right? Yeah
Starting point is 02:14:29 right, I Think it comes with like some new Operating system that includes Apple's version of AI. I Don't need that. Don't ask me if that's a good thing or a bad thing. I don't know but that's a good thing or a bad thing, I don't know, but. The glass is two times tougher. I haven't broken the glass on an iPhone in forever. Oh, knock on wood. Explore new tools that help you write,
Starting point is 02:14:55 focus and communicate, writing tools. Hit record on your phone or app to capture audio recordings. Yes, so what? Total camera control. Oh, oh, there's a scroll button on the side of it. Wow. Let me replay that. For zooming. Okay. All right. They got a new button. Easier to access the camera.
Starting point is 02:15:27 Automatically locks. Last year, camera control introduced two-stage shutter that lets you automatically lock and focus exposure. Has a recording button on the side now. It always has. 4K 120. Oh, that's pretty nice. Before it was just a 1080.
Starting point is 02:15:57 So it's really, they're really just. I guess for new 48 megapixel ultra wide camera. I guess for new 48 megapixel ultra-wide camera I'm already really down if the More zoom now you can shoot in 120 millimeter with the five times telephoto camera. Oh on both models Wow, I Think before it only had three times telephoto. They got the whole diverse, they have all the black people and all the beta males you could ever want in a iPhone marketing commercial. Yeah. They have everything except the white guy. Those are the ones collecting the money.
Starting point is 02:16:49 They have it. Yeah. Those are the ones. Good point. They're the ones making the money, dude. And they got loads of androgynous looking dudes. All right. Androgynous. That's a good word. You know what I mean? Like you don't really know. I don't know what that word means, but... Not a whitey was seen. Yeah, no crackers in the ad. There are never crackers in the ad. It's always like... It's um, one, two, three, four, five, six... Wait, one... 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. Wait, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5. There's a white horse.
Starting point is 02:17:36 There's a white horse. 5, 6. I saw another white girl. 6. There's not one white man. And there's a six black man. And then like three androgynous Asian looking things. You know what happened if they put too many white people in the commercial, right?
Starting point is 02:17:55 There's not one white guy in the commercial. Yeah, but you know what happened if there was? What? The white guys would complain about it. Oh yeah, right. It's not diverse enough. I feel discriminated against now. Whatever.
Starting point is 02:18:27 And by the way, none of the black guys look like black guys. You know what I mean? Like they're not like they're they're like they're just they're like no like none of the Asian guys like Asian like no one looks like normal like no one looks like like the black guy you see and standing in line next to it Safeway. Do you know what I mean? They're either wearing like crazy clothes or have crazy hair or really effeminate. Look at this dude. Come on dude. This guy right here has never...
Starting point is 02:18:57 No fucking black dude has ever held a coffee cup like this. I don't know if you can see the screen but like hey dude that's how old ladies fucking that's how old ladies hold a fucking coffee cup. He's got like the two hand hold. He's got I was gonna say his two hands are wrapped around it. Yeah yeah it's like give me a fucking break. Yeah that was like a pumpkin latte a pumpkin sized latte commercial. I don't even think I don't even think black people drink coffee. I never even seen I don't think black people are addicted to caffeine.
Starting point is 02:19:29 Trying to think if I've ever seen a black guy drink coffee. Besides like besides like a Don Lemon type. You know what I mean? Just saying. This is a this is kind of funny. You've just been talking on the show while doing all my normal work. That's fun, right? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:19:55 I did a bunch of computer work and I actually packed up the whole entire podcast stuff and now I'm headed to the gym. I'm going to set it up and I have a client at a little after 930. Oh, how's, oh you mean for Kill Taylor? Yeah. How's your connection gonna be there? It'll be fine. I've been in front of the gym multiple times. Okay. Yeah. Have we heard from Tyler? Is Tyler gonna be in? I don't know I would assume they're all in right unless they tell us they're not usually everybody's pretty good about that Yeah, uh Pedro's not oh I don't I think is Pedro in I can't remember. I don't know
Starting point is 02:20:42 I think so because I think it was in the evening for him, right? typically Fridays, he would be out work, but. I wish you could see this video I'm about to show. I showed my wife this. I said, this is there's nothing like having a crew of black dudes who have your back. You know what I mean? Like, like, just imagine like you were at a gas station, right? And you pull up and someone gets out of their car and like starts fronting on you. Right? Yeah. Like some big old like juiced up fucking cross fitter and his wife,
Starting point is 02:21:11 right? They have all the plastic surgery and the giant tits and shit. You know what I mean? Just like some meathead dude, like a dude named like Eddie Hall, but but does crossfit. Okay. And then all of a sudden, like eight, eight, eight black dudes walk up and they're like, fuck you. We got this dude's back. You're like, yeah, now what bitch? Like you feel great, right? You look pretty cool. Yeah, you would look cool.
Starting point is 02:21:33 Yeah, yeah. Okay. This video I'm about to show is crazy. This fucking tranny is coming after this dude. And then like eight black dudes step up and got his back. It's crazy. Oh, that's now now and it's a white it's a white dorky dude hold on let me go ahead say it say it and then i'll play it go ahead what are you gonna say no no go ahead and play oh jake sabin said

It just...
Starting point is 02:22:40 Did you get sent this by somebody? Yeah, it says trolling Kamala Harris rallies. It's crazy Okay Fucking police you just insulted me. Well, listen here pal. Yeah You and your fascination with black men, yeah, I love fucking black men Black dudes are cooler. It blaze might have been the the coolest dude we had on the fucking show in a long time. It's just is that way. I don't know why it is. That's why Travis Bajent is so cool because he's a black man trapped in a white dude's body. Tyson's dad? He's cool as shit. Okay, I don't want to talk about this anymore. Ari's here. I don't want to fucking like pollute his brain yet. I don't want to turn him into a race. Yeah

Starting point is 02:26:07 It's like my whole arm. It's like my arm. It's like all around my arm. It's sometimes here It's sometimes in my armpit and sometimes my just just like my heel hurts right here. It's like tingling No, yeah, sometimes. It's like it's stuck in place like it I'm like this I'm like I can't move it and it's like painful if I move it Have you have you felt any pain in it this morning? What do you need to do just rest so no jiu-jitsu no swimming no tennis that's your tennis arm too, right? That's your right arm. I Thought you said I thought I told you you're not allowed to use those crutches. Is your hip hurting?

What is it? What was it? I did I had a dream I had two girlfriends. Oh, that it is. Okay. What is it? What was it? I had a dream. I had two girlfriends. Oh, that's cool. Who was it? It was Dre and this other girl. Who's the other girl? Had you seen her before?
Starting point is 02:27:53 You just random girl in your dreams? How old was she? Probably, I don't know. But I was older. I was like 12, 11. Was she cute? Not cute, but pretty. Pretty. What was her name? Do you know her name? No.
Starting point is 02:28:09 Good distinction. Can you picture her in your mind's eye, what she looks like? Yeah. Yeah? Kinda, but just, I can picture in my mind the ugly. Oh, when you picture it in your mind, she's not as pretty as she was in your dream?
Starting point is 02:28:21 That's cool. That's weird. We're all three of you in the room at the same time. I think Aubrey was there on crutches. Bring the microphone, close your mouth. Were the girls friends? Dre was actually jealous, but then I said it's fine. Dre was super jealous. She looked at me like I was stupid. Yeah, it's fine. Two girlfriends is fine.
Starting point is 02:28:51 The Muslims are taking over and multiple girlfriends is totally fine. That's going to be the new culture. You should come look at my toe. It's swollen as heck. It's my left. Your right toe looks more swollen to me really no look at the bottom it's skinnier oh up by the knuckle I can't see that part swimming I got a lot of water in my ear you got swimming here yeah I got swimmers here hey when you woke up did you try to go back into the dream?
Starting point is 02:29:27 Talking to the microphone No, because I wanted to get my cool one done and I got it done. Oh, so you woke up and do this Instead of having a dream with two girlfriends you wanted to do your homework Jew that's the Jew in you. I already know priority. These are hard workers Hey, that's good. Keep that mindset. Yeah. Homework before girls. This is God. This is God speaking. That's cultural. That's a cultural phenomenon. All right. All right. Thanks, Suza. I'll see you guys. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Bye. Okay, finally back to my dad

Starting point is 02:30:33 I feel like someone said your studio was like dumb or something. Someone said that to me. No, if they said that to you. Your dad's studio is dumb. Really? You just need to clean it up. What do you mean?
Starting point is 02:30:44 What do you mean clean it up? like clean up all the wires and stuff? Let me take a picture And take a picture of the background to the background's pretty yeah, oh shit. I got my text messages Okay Okay. You think I'm going to be bigger than Joe Rogan someday? Who's that? That's what I thought. Good answer.
Starting point is 02:31:13 Joe Rogan? Yeah. He like white? Yeah, bald. Oh, are you guys going to watch UFC with me tonight? Yeah. Sure. You never watch it with me.
Starting point is 02:31:23 You never watch it with me. Invite someone. Inv watch someone. That's even worse when I invite someone. Go ahead. I get mixed up between Dean White and Joe Rogan. Yeah I used to get those two confused too. Joe Rogan is, never mind. Tyler Watkins said, Tyler Watkins is in the comments and he said that's just what I heard a rumor your studio is dumb just just what they are saying I Think I like it. Do I have some lights out Tyler? I'm gonna give you some advice. You're not funny. He is funny Tyler
Starting point is 02:31:54 So he's getting funnier He's the one of the ball. Yeah He's so funny. Oh my goodness. Um. Alright. Anything else? No. I'm kinda fatigued.
Starting point is 02:32:16 I don't know if I have the energy to interact with you guys. When you guys look at me, do you look at me like you love me to death? Uh, you're crying. No, I yawn. Am I crying? I yawned you saw water. Yeah, you could tell yeah Burst into tears remember I remember you were doing a show on your birthday And you've, and mom put, um, tissues in here. Hey! Hey, that's nice!
Starting point is 02:32:49 God damn, meetin' fruit. And, um, and you started crying. And it was funny. I've never seen you cry like that. Me either. The two times I've seen you cry is then and when Meshie died when you were burying him. Do you know there's one other time I cried that you guys don't know about? Really?
Starting point is 02:33:11 Yeah. Oh, I do. What? When we forgot the one wheel. Yeah. Oh yeah. I went in the room and I cried a little bit. That sucks. Just a little.
Starting point is 02:33:23 We got the, you got the red one. From Greg. How old are you Ben? 50? Yeah, 50. Probably 50. Did you get the red one for free? Greg? Did Greg give it to you? Really? I think he did. Yes, yes.
Starting point is 02:33:40 The one that you... Yeah, the one that you ride. That one wheel. Did he give Yeah the one that you ride that one wheel Yep, you gave me the four I think You know, it's weird when you like When you turn a different age, you don't really feel any different Yeah, like it's not like you talk you're like a baby when you're nine now you're done. Hello. Oh well You definitely guys definitely talk different as you get older yeah but it takes over time it's like yes not on that exact day it's not like you're like okay in ten minutes I'm not gonna be a dork anymore like it's just a slow

Yeah. Tyler's hopeless without you. You know what I think? I have a different take on it.
Starting point is 02:34:51 I think that the more and more people practice and being on podcasts and stuff, the better they get, but also the freer they get. Wait, can I say something? They learn that it's okay to just let it all hang out and you build a thick skin and about around Criticism and you don't you just kind of let it fly go ahead That girl what about her what did she do I remember She still has a crush on you Yes, Dre. Where was I when I wasn't there?
Starting point is 02:35:21 She had a crush on you? Mm-hmm. She asked Dre where was I when I wasn't there, when I wasn't at tennis. She had Dre what? Recently? She asked Dre, yeah. Maybe that's gonna be your second girlfriend. Heck no, she's so mean. She is?
Starting point is 02:35:34 Yeah, and she looked at her watch and she's like, in 10 minutes, my name is gonna be Sky or something. It was like weird. She kept changing her name every five seconds 10 minutes Look who's here look who's here. Hi joe Was joe on the podcast yesterday? No, he wouldn't come on joe. Joseph's the only non-injured son Joe just lays on the carpet there He does. Yeah

No, I'm about to turn 10, and the closest to my dad's age is his favorite. Who's going through puberty? Avi.
Starting point is 02:36:38 You shouldn't have that knife open in here. Why? I don't know. It's not that sharp anyway. It's not that sharp, I cut my thumb with that. You did? Sorry. When Donovan and Colette were here, I was cutting an apple and I cut my thumb. And he had the seeds banded on his hand.
Starting point is 02:37:01 You know what's weird? Me and Rhett were talking about how when you cut yourself it burns It does burn. Do you know what happened the other day? One I can't remember who I think I was cutting Joe's fingernails I've never done this for and I cut the tip. I pinched the tip of his finger and chopped off a chunk of skin And As the PFAA would say, we lost some trust there. I think I lost... Do you trust me to cut your nails anymore? Oh, you do? Oh, that's nice. Okay. I will never let that...
Starting point is 02:37:31 Imagine that was your private parts. Oh. You should never have a nail clipper near your private parts. Yeah. Never be holding a nail clipper and always wear underwear so that there's a barrier between your junk and the nail clippers. You should learn from this. Never ever take a pee and cut your nails. At the same time. Yeah. What if you just snip a little bit. Never hold a knife while you go and pee. imagine it falls blade chopped off
Starting point is 02:38:06 the tip of your penis oh my goodness yeah probably be holding you want to talk do you want to talk you got to get in there if you want to talk but that's something what retardos would do is that Spanish for retard retardos yeah it's like mexican hiding yes is that big um uh big uh um bullet thing in the background is that a bottle opener or a bullet a huge bullet it's a bottle opener oh that makes sense elie crane gave this to me now he's a senator. It looks like a bullet. Oh, real like a bullet from a missile. I think I gave you one of these. It's a real bullet. It was a real bullet.
Starting point is 02:38:50 Most of your comments vote for Trump. No, it's a bunch of Kamala lovers in the chat. Really? Oh, let's get off the show then. Joey sit down on the couch let's have a discussion. Come on. Yeah. It's not that scary.
Starting point is 02:39:09 It's not that scary. You just have to act cool and act yourself. I have one of these. It says your name on it. It says Sevan on it? Yeah. Oh. I know but it's in your...

Oh who enjoy who enjoys swimming the most? Hey, I love I I love swimming in the ocean cuz I did surf camp Who enjoys tennis the most? Me, I love swimming in the ocean because I did surf camp. Who enjoys tennis the most? Joey, Joey loves tennis. What happened to you? Why all of a sudden are you in love with tennis, Joey?
Starting point is 02:40:16 What happened? Talk in the microphone, because you're what? I'm doing new things. And you like that when you're doing new things you like? Cause you really jumped on the tennis train the last couple of months. And who likes skating the most? Me.
Starting point is 02:40:32 And Joey, I think that maybe you don't even like skating at all. You don't. I like one wheeling. I like skating. One wheeling is fun. I like Jiu Jitsu the most though. Jiu Jitsu is my thing. I don't know what I'm into
Starting point is 02:40:47 Yeah, me neither. I know what I'm into. What are you into? Jujitsu and martial arts and stuff. And I might be doing skating and stuff too, but no tennis But you're good at tennis. I actually will probably stick with tennis and stick with. And you try hard too I'll just stick with tennis, but with... And you try hard too. I'll just stick with tennis, but I'm definitely going to stick with jiu-jitsu. The things that you don't like and that are hard are the things that I want you guys to stick with too a little bit. Like swimming, that's why we do so much swimming. Yeah, so every time in the middle of swimming my ear hurts or something's bothering me. I don't know why.
Starting point is 02:41:21 I like swimming because I can be in the water, but I don't know what I'm into. Do you have when you have all these options, do you have to stick with one or can you do all of them? You can do all of them. I don't know. I don't know. You can do whatever you want. Because Adam did soccer and then he did tennis and he has the only tennis career.
Starting point is 02:41:43 Yeah. Some people are saying that we need to drill down now and just pick you guys pick one but I'm not going to do that. I'm going to keep making you guys do all the stuff and you and the two parents. What do you mean two parents? What do you mean? Do you mean that we can take you to the different places in the cars? Yeah. to the different places in the cars yeah
Starting point is 02:42:10 but if we get too busy if you keep signing us up for more things I like the same time we're gonna have to do one in a different day hey are you gonna are all you guys gonna swim today I'm not why not you don't need your toe to swim yes you do no you don't put your on. You can swim without fins then today. Yeah but you have to point your toes. I want you to suck it up and do it. I can't point my toes. Then don't point them. But then I can't swim. Yes you can. I swim all the time without pointing my toes. You'll be swimming like this. That's okay. That's okay. But then my toes will hit the water and hurt. Ice pack. I don't think it will hurt. I think I can put the flipper on ice pack and ice pack. I don't think it will hurt I think I can put the flipper on you and protect your toes. I can put your flippers on you your fins on you
Starting point is 02:42:51 Yeah, put socks on that that would just hurt more cuz no, I think the flippers will be fine I'll try Phones you will try Stopping okay, I respect that. That's cool. It feels so mellow now, the talking and all that stuff. Wait, can you still hear me? No.
Starting point is 02:43:12 They can't? No, as soon as you take off the headphones they can't hear you. Really? No, I'm joking. I thought I was going to vomit yesterday because I ate food right before I went swimming. Yeah. And my stomach was hurting a little bit. I would be really, if you vomited in the pool, I'd be proud of you.
Starting point is 02:43:30 Really? What are your thoughts on Brent Fikowski? Great question. All the hate throwing at me. Yeah. Well, who's that? Okay, good. All right.
Starting point is 02:43:39 Who's your favorite CrossFitter? Taylor Colton. What's his name again? Justin Maderos. The guy who's the fittest man on the team. Who's your favorite CrossFitter? Uh, Taylor, Colton, um, what's his name again? Justin Maderos, the guy with the fittest man on earth. Hey Taylor, you thought you were gonna whoop Colton's butt? Nuh-uh. Nuh-uh.
Starting point is 02:43:56 But don't worry Colton, you'll win next time. I still like you more. You mean Taylor will win next time? Yeah, Taylor. I still like you more, Taylor. I'll give you a thumbs up Where's mom? See I like I like Colton now that he's bald. Yeah, he looks good, right?
Starting point is 02:44:14 The Colton and Taylor look like brothers now all Colton needs is a mustache So Justin Maderas Taylor self Colton Mertens and James Sprague. Those are your favorite What about Rich Froning? Rich Froning is a douche. I love him. I love him. Wait a second. I love Rich.
Starting point is 02:44:42 Do you want to change your mind? I'm just getting rich. This is my favorite out of all them. Who's rich? Oh, okay. That's fine. Good. So you don't even know who he is.
Starting point is 02:44:50 Yeah, I barely know. He's my favorite of all time. James Sprague is cool too. What about the girls? Do you like? Tia. Oh, you don't like Tia? No.
Starting point is 02:45:01 I vote for Kamala. You like Kamala? No. Oh, Tia votes for Kamala? Mm-hmm, I'm just kidding. I looked it up. Who's your favorite female crossfitter? What's yours? I like Alex Gazan a lot.
Starting point is 02:45:14 Gazan. But I wanna get on the Gracie Walton train. You know who she is? No. Oh. I like, who's Alex Gazan, like she's black hair girl uh no she's like reddish brown hair oh she's kind of like a buff version of your mom real buff version oh the curly hair girl yeah crazy yeah I like her too yeah she's fun to
Starting point is 02:45:38 look at right yeah does she have freckles does Alex of freckles like Taylor. Does she have freckles? Does Alex have freckles? And she's nice. What's Taylor's wife's name again? Lizzie. You did a little interview on her that she threw up. Do you remember that? Gazan? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:45:56 Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. West Coast Classic. Yeah, maybe I remember that. Yeah, the CrossFit Games. Yeah. Where's the next CrossFit Games going to be? Probably like... I don't know. I don't know crossword games going to be? Probably like. I don't know. I don't know if there is going to be another one.
Starting point is 02:46:09 Really? Why? Some dude died last year. Yeah. So I don't know. Why they scared someone's going to die this year. I don't know. I mean, people just die, right?
Starting point is 02:46:23 I mean, that's something that just happens, but how come he did it with Like what was wrong with his heart? Yeah, no one knows what happened and how come he did it with the heart thing? Yeah, what do you mean? What hard thing? What hard thing like No, that's not known for sure He just had another event before this one How did he struggled at another event before where he passed out and then this event? Something happened in the water and I think that they're related the incidents are related
Starting point is 02:46:56 And why did you do the CrossFit Games if he knew that? Something was wrong with him because he's not a quitter Maybe and maybe he was in denial or maybe I'm wrong. Maybe nothing was wrong with him because he's not a quitter maybe and maybe he was in denial or maybe I'm wrong maybe nothing was wrong with him maybe all those we don't know we don't know no he went underwater and then never they never found they didn't find him for two hours and all the athletes went over him where he died yeah he was in the front and he went underwater and then all the dudes swam over him. Yeah.
Starting point is 02:47:30 Because they didn't know he was there. Right. Cause he vanished. Cause everyone's racing. He was, he was at one point he was in the lead when they, at one point in the water, I think he was in the lead. The guy, the guy who won the race said that they was following him. And then they said they saw him swim off
Starting point is 02:47:48 in the wrong direction and then they kept going. Why did they kept going? Because it was a race. They didn't know what he was doing. You know what I mean? Let's say all four of us were racing to that fence in the backyard and you saw Ari go that way. We would still run towards the fence, right?
Starting point is 02:48:02 And we would win. But he swam the wrong way. And then eventually did he just sink as he's doggy paddled or or did he start swimming in circles um he was swimming he was close to the finish line and then what appears from what it appears to be is that he had like his the last footage that i saw he had had his hand up like this, like almost like he, I couldn't tell if he's either going for a stroke or if he was like screaming for help or what he was doing.
Starting point is 02:48:29 Oh, he was like this for help. Yeah, the last, I don't know if it was for help or if he was doing freestyle. This is the sign for help, okay. This is like really, really help. And then he just went under. Shun glass. And no one saved him.
Starting point is 02:48:41 Oh, he was probably like this. He had a wetsuit on, like a really thick one. Yeah. He wouldn't go under. Yeah. Remember those people we saw yesterday swimming in the ocean with the buoys on their back? Yeah.
Starting point is 02:48:53 If he had had those, he could, they would have seen them and he would have like just kind of floated to the top too. Did all of your other ones have booties? No, no one had buoys. Even, even if he had like there's six five what suits those are really fake if he had that He would not he would he wouldn't die you think he would have been buoyant enough and floated at the top Yeah, I am I in my wetsuit. I can put my arms out and I'll just float. Yeah, I like I know but I still flow because it's still pretty.
Starting point is 02:49:33 So one, so, so he died and his brother was there. Imagine if one of your brothers died. That'd be horrible. Right? Yeah. And, um, no, his real brother like came out of the same vagina as him. Like you guys did like twin. No, not twin. his younger brother was there competing Wait, was he competing while?
Starting point is 02:49:50 His brother was swimming behind him And his brother swam over him. Yeah, his brother didn't see it because his brother had his head down and was racing too And did they have goggles? Yeah, they had goggles but the water was it the water wasn't clear Okay, yeah, I think murky sphere If brand if Brandon was there for lifeguard, he would have saved him. Yeah our coach Oh, he would have saw no chance dived in So that that's how secure you feel with Brandon if something happens. He dives in and gets you. I am so safe.
Starting point is 02:50:26 I trust Brandon a lot. So that's what people are saying. Well, those even lifeguards. They look like two dorks looking around. That's what people are saying that the athletes, the 79 athletes, that they should, that they... There were 79? There were 79 athletes, I think. I think there were 39 boys and 40 girls
Starting point is 02:50:47 And people are saying that like hey those guys were in the water And that they trusted that there was a lifeguard there or some water rescue personnel there that was good enough To get them, but no, but but since it didn't happen the athletes are a lot of the athletes are upset because they're like Hey, why would you put us in an unsafe situation? Oh, Dave? But Dave wasn't one of the lifeguards. No, he was in charge of the whole event. Oh, they were set at the people that were watching.
Starting point is 02:51:15 Oh. And so like what you said, like how you trust Brandon, that's why there's all this contention now in the sport. Because people don't trust anybody yeah well that's they're claiming yeah but also remember every time you do something like that every time what about Allison's friend wait I don't know was she any good so they so Allison's friend oh no no no no No, don't talk about that Just about food where we gonna go oh for um, uh, don't worry I'll be you didn't know Say that say that again, where are we gonna go to eat after this? We're not I'm gonna make a steak You are my mom make a steak. Yeah. Oh my god, but what about for us?
Starting point is 02:52:03 You can eat steak, yeah. Oh my God, but what about for us? You can eat steak too. I like, I wanna go somewhere though. My always eyelashes are so long. I know. I mean, I'll eat steak, but I wanna go somewhere too. I don't wanna stay in this house for a long time. Keep talking, no, not keep talking. Why?
Starting point is 02:52:28 No, they're just... Because I told you to keep talking. They don't want... That's just stuff that we should keep to ourselves for now. Okay. You guys know more than I thought. I didn't even know you guys knew that story. I'm sorry, I'm not out of here. You're out of here? Alright. Oh God. sorry, Avi.
Starting point is 02:52:47 Guys, is Uncle Nick coming over today? Who's Uncle Nick? I don't know. Ha ha ha ha ha. God, Jake, you're a douche. Okay, only an hour till Kill Taylor. What's the workout? You guys wanna know the workout? Here we go.
Starting point is 02:52:59 Here's the workout for Kill Taylor today. Are we going on? No, you guys aren't. That show's inappropriate. The workout is you're gonna need a rower and dumbbells 75 70 pound dumbbells dumbbells because if you hit someone that they'll go dumb probably um you you need a rower and you need dumbbells. It's a couplet, 70 pound dumbbells for the boys, 50 pound for the girls.
Starting point is 02:53:30 We will be here at 11 a.m. Dumbbells, that's why they're called dumbbells because you hit someone, dumb, and then the bell rings. Bum. All right. I'll see you guys soon in one hour and seven minutes. The gang will be here. Love you guys. Bye.
