Two people actually carried him, and they set him in an ice bath. I got the whole thing. And I got the whole interview. I got – Katrin's David's daughter gave me a really intimate interview. Just the two of us off into the athlete kind of recovery area after her pig event.

I got Annie Thor's daughter with her fucking world-class coach. Yami is Annie was locking up. It was just the three of us. I got great footage there. I got Rich and Dave having some intimate conversation. I got such good shit, you guys. Luke Parker, Luke Lazarjukic, Justin Medeiros. It's getting tense, dude.

And I was like, huh, already that's crazy. And then I looked more and I saw SEMA.

So we went over there and that's when we saw odd in the on the stretcher and uh we're like what's up dude and she's like yeah food poisoning and I said oh that's horrible and uh then they uh started putting her in the ambulance and then she says but you're my favorite medic around four other medics and I said I don't think you should tell me that in front of everybody who's taking care of you.

And then they took her away. Did she come back? She says right here. I'm back. Yeah, she came back first. Yeah. With Jesus. Back tomorrow.

Because most of these women are finishing in the bottom tier every single event. It just takes one really good event from one of them to push them up into the top. What are the three events tomorrow in order?

Do we know what they are? Four, five, and six? Yes. The alpaca, which is a sled push, heavy kettlebell clean and jerks, and seated legless rope climbs, which is a huge difference maker for women. Okay. Women especially. And then the ski bag, which is 30 cow ski.

There we go. We got it. 30 cow ski, 30 sandbag squats, 20 cow ski, 20 sandbag squats, power output workout. We could see Ellie Turner get a top five on that, right? We could see Ellie Turner absolutely get a top five on that. And then Helena is all gas. I think it's who can do the 12-bar muscle-ups unbroken every time.

And then after that, who's going to run the fastest? The 21 dumbbell snatches or irrelevant? We could get a top 10 on that, maybe. Who? Emma McQuaid. Possibly. Possibly, yeah. Around top 10, yeah.

cleaning jerks i don't know what how well balanced that will be and who it'll influence more. I lean towards the rope climb side, though, which is good for Fisagafi. Okay. Okay. Who do you think Emma McQuaid replaces in that list? Do you think it's Saharkay? Probably Saharkay or

And as long as she can just manage on the legless rope climbs and not, not like get stuck completely she'll be good yeah i'm obviously we're not worried about amanda barnhart or emma uh carrie at all um in in ellie turner is you know unless there's just something in there that's a hole for her i mean she has always the uh potential to hit a top five workout or finish top five in a workout how was uh how was sydney wells in the seated legless rope climbs in event six can anybody can anybody effort that because i don't know it off the top of my head event six of the semifinals sydney wells is that the one here i can look because she got zero on the ring muscle-ups. If she got like eight points on the seated legless rope climb,

she could bomb that one, and she could drop out. Where was she? She was in the east? I believe so. Okay. Give me one. And you think the ropes are going to play down? I do.

Event six. Event six. Twelve. Okay. So she's fine. I was just wondering that because ring muscle-ups, she couldn't do one, right? The complex. Right. But no, twelve's fine. She'll be fine

I didn't expect so many people to want to watch the handstand walk but so many people showed up and so many people made it exciting to watch i was surprised i thought that was going to be an absolutely horrible event to watch but when i got in there and everybody got so excited when they were when people were going unbroken and getting past sections i thought it was fantastic they made it so much more fun and exciting a lot of energy and it didn't hurt that dan Brandon won and the place lost. Yeah, well, she just blitzed that whole thing right from the get-go.

She was on a mission. Like, I think that, you know, they sometimes say that they have those events where athletes will make a statement. You think that that was a little bit of a statement event for her right there? Like, she knew it was hers, and she was like, I'm just going to dust everybody and let them know what's up. Did she beat the men's dive? Oh, she smashed everybody.

It wasn't close. She did? Yeah. Yeah. It wasn't close. I think the men's winning time was 347 and hers was 312. Wow. Wow.

And she had a bit of a hiccup, if you even want to call it that. Didn't she kind of fumble a little bit and have to restart and shake out real quick? She had to reset the last ramp yeah so i mean imagine if she had been able to blitz that that time would have even been that much faster it just it was insane like she knew that was her she probably knew it right when that event came out i wonder what hoffer's time was because remember in the post faster than that they were like someone someone asked will they will anyone be victor's time and the head judge said no, or not a fucking chance or something. So I think she finishes the same as she did last year, 9th or 10th. Guys, there's so much media there. And when the athletes win, they get swamped. But when Danielle Brandon won that handstand event thing, walk thing, swamped but when danielle brandon won that handstand event thing walk thing and she came to the underground the media around her was crazy how'd she handle that she's great everyone's great i everyone handles it great it's kind of amazing all the athletes handle it like champs she handled

like a rock star yeah even justin who's like crazy intense all day, like so tense, I think. After he won that event, he came off and he handled it like a champ. Cross country, how's Alexis Raptus do? Cross country 5K. Again, like 5 to 7. She doesn't have any weaknesses, but it's just – we already had her strength. Alexis Raptors is the best handstand pusher for all of CrossFit

in any form of handstand push-ups. Wow. Other than that, she's just pretty solid at everything. That's Alexis Raptors. Olympic total? I think she'll take the biggest hit there. That's where Laura can make up 40 points on her. Because I think Laura could win that,

Yeah. I mean, I don't think he's going to beat people like Roman in that workout, but you would think he would do pretty well in it. So, like, I think Bronislaw has a shot to make it. What about any of these other people down here? What's going to happen with Sam Quant? I did see Sam Quant did have a bad accident in the bike workout, and he's pretty busted up.

I mean, I didn't see his face busted up but one of his arms is like looks like he got in a fight with a cat and lost um no road rash is it can you scroll up just a tad bit kip so we could see like what point value does it do they need to achieve to get past there because he's got 70 points right now sam is the type of guy who could get a top five or top 10 in a workout he's 18 points behind okay so they're still yeah it's not undoable at all yeah and last year in the alpaca quant was second or third um in in the alpaca without the legless rope climbs and he did fine on Event 6. He did just fine.

I think he was like second or third in Event 6 in the semifinals. So I think he should place really well in the Alpaca this year, top seven. And then that alone, Sam Kwan. Okay. Sam Kwan. And if he doesn't, then he's hurt because everything that he's done in the past should say that he will be around top seven. And that alone should push him to the next cut.

Jack Mosley, is the bike too dangerous or risky to include? No, people should just learn how to bike better. Yeah, and I was going to say the course was on grass, and it looked like that was as much that was possible i jack i think it's a fair question especially the way the course is not that it's dangerous not that it's dangerous but there it is uh slippery and crap there were a ton of crashes i bet you there were 20 crashes out there today oh that's a shot of him crashing you know it's interesting i ran into uh chris henshhaw right before the start of this event, and one of the things that he said is, he said if you watch the riders right at the start,

because actually I asked him why he was standing where he was, and he said because it's the most important part of the track. It's right at the beginning as they come through the start line around this one stretch. I didn't see the whole course, but it looked like a really good straightaway with a slight curve before they kind of go into this S curve. And he said you're going to be able to tell who's going to be good at this event

because they have to be confident and they have to be willing to take risks in this event and he said in the ones that are trying to play a little safe or don't have confidence on it he said we'll fall back right away and they will never ever catch up and so i i think that just is like speaks to like who's confident on the bike and then who's going to be aggressive out there. Because normally if you're aggressive in something like this, you're going to be the one that doesn't get hurt. When you try to be cautious or try to play it safe, that's when you end up spilling.

And so I think that played out more or less than like if the course was risky or not. The fittest in the world should be able to ride a bike. This wasn't just riding a bike. This was a ton of hairpin turns with a lot of gravel on the ground. Too risky for a first event. Good. Interesting.

They want people to fall. Not true, but fair. Patty V said it was dangerous. It is dangerous. It is dangerous. I can bike better than any of these fools. John Young. Wow.

Barbie with barbells uh quant was fourth last year a great uh added bit of tidbit of info uh people just need to bike better eric it's not like that it's these dudes are pedaling so some of the guys are pedaling so hard and are working so hard and the course has some crazy shit on it and who's the dishes uh makes for great footage yes um i i i agree uh douglas farrow three in the 5k and make the cut oh god stop drinking well seeing as the 5k is after the cut i don't think that's hey one last thing on the course too i don't think that the course was necessarily risky i just think none of those right like like majority of people on the bikes have never ridden in that tightly of a pack before so i don't think it was the course that necessarily posed a lot of the risk i think it was all the other riders and them trying to figure that out i mean if you were to

take that whole field and say like how many of you guys have ridden bicycles like this in a peloton or with other bicyclists that tightly and that aggressively i don't think many of them have so i think that was the biggest piece of as far as it being like risky necessarily in the course when when j when lazar jukic and jesse maderas crashed i was standing 15 feet away and i was fiddling with my camera instead of filming. No, I didn't get any footage of it, but I did interview Luke Parker and Lazar Jukic, and we discussed at length the crashes. And you guys are going to be interested in hearing. And I spoke to Rich Froning about it.
