I just feel so grateful. Not only grateful for a healthy body, grateful for my team, grateful for my family, the judges, the volunteers, everybody who makes it possible. I'm always grateful for that stuff, but I feel like this year especially, I'm grateful that this isn't what I'm – Oh, we lost the audio yeah what happened that's not uh that's not anything that's going to last oh there we go i'm really grateful to serve a god who has shown me in the past few months

that it's not all about winning um and that weekends like this are an amazing platform to know god more to conform more to christ to conform more to Christ, to serve him, to hopefully tell others about him and just have a platform to speak. Yeah, to be honest, man, I'm back to where i left off last year this is this is how i wanted to start the year so last year was a bit of a um unexpected injury that put me out of the season so i started last year with a win in miami now i'm going to start this year with a win in miami sold the mountain bike i've bought golf clubs that's the only activity i can do outside of crossfit so no more mountain biking just golf and crossfit yeah ricky yeah that's my secret for this year well people oh both of you 2024 tier waddup loser champions thank you thanks guys ricky garrard and em Carey, your 2024 cheer. She said it herself in one of those post-event interviews that she came here because she had seen the events and she was excited to do them and she was upset they had changed, which we had speculated on, and now we can confirm it with our own words. Yeah, I mean, both the events that got changed

changed for the worse for her. The second event was a really good event for her. The bar muscle-ups and hang cleans event both got changed to deadlifts and burpees. And then the other event was strict pull-ups instead of chest-to-bar. But I think the high box would have helped her a lot, and they lowered the box. So, like, every change was to her her negative and she still got third place. Um, well,

I'm consistently surprised by Gabby's high finishes, which is a good thing. It's a pleasant surprise, I should say. Yeah. We go to the CrossFit Games, and there's 15 events,

and Ariel Lowen takes third, and there's 15 events. And Ariel Lowen takes third. And let's say Magawa. What place did Magawa take last year? At the Games? At the Games. She didn't even make the podium, right? She was fifth. Okay.

Is this a truthful question? Why are the Games better for Ariel low with 15 events? Is it the number of events that's helping Ariel low and do better at those at that at CrossFit games? Or is it just a better test or both? I think the more tests that we have, the higher Gabby would be. That's incorrect because she finished higher,

lower than Ariel of the games with more tests. No, no, I think, yeah, I'm not, it doesn't mean Ariel that can't happen. Correct, because she finished lower than Ariel of the games with more tests. No, no, I think, yeah. It doesn't mean, Ariel, that can't happen. Let's look at every single year that wasn't last year. The last time it happened, it's true.

I understand that, but let's look at every single year besides last year. Gabby is ahead of Ariel. Ariel has traditionally finished 10th or 11th every time she goes. That's because Bosman's game is all jacked up. I think Ariel just kind of got lucky with the programming last year, and she executed flawlessly and had the games of her life. That's what I think happened.

So basically, Ariel Lowen lost out to Gabriella Magawa here at Guadalupalooza, but beat her by a significant margin, but only one place, by a significant amount of points. Luckily, 100 points luckily beat her. No, no, no.

The programming was very good for Ariel, is what I'm saying. And every year, it's going to be different programming. I don't think Ariel is one of the people that the programming doesn't matter.
