My friend Joe Rose, who runs the wildly popular meditation podcast called A Zen Mind, is here to lead you through a meditation. Starting point is 00:01:11 one that is radiant, vibrant, and deeply alive within you. And let's begin by finding a comfortable position, whatever feels good for your body today. And softly closing your eyes, if you wish. Taking a moment to just be here. Taking a few deep and slow breaths at your own pace. inhaling fully, exhaling completely, as you relax into your own presence. And how beautiful is this presence? Taking a moment to show appreciation for yourself, for showing up today,
Starting point is 00:02:43 for making the very conscious decision to be here right now, to press play to choose something that is so deeply rooted in your highest being and what a wonderful experience it is of being you an experience that nobody else in this entire planet
Starting point is 00:03:16 will ever have because it is yours and yours alone how wonderful it is that you woke up this morning a feeling that brings the easiest joy, how incredible it is that you get to make choices. For your own well-being, you get to experience another day of life. Happiness lives here within you always, without the need to change circumstances,
Starting point is 00:04:17 just allowing the love within you to rise up and to flow outward, into everything that you touch today, letting it move into your thoughts, your emotions, your body, radiating outward into the people that you meet, the work that you create, the spaces that you enter. You are like sunlight, pouring in through an open window, illuminating everything, within and around you. Let this be a natural sensation without reason. Joy for simply being, happiness for simply existing. Gratitude for this breath, this body, this day, this life. Breathe in deeply, exhale fully, allowing your breath to be both gentle and reassuring.
Starting point is 00:06:11 a piece that nobody else can bring except you. Choose to be happy because you can. Because why not? You get to choose into this frequency. It becomes your natural state. And you seek out more reasons to be happy. To smile for no reason and every reason. to be kind to yourself and all other beings, to look at your life through the most beautiful
Starting point is 00:07:31 and grateful lens. Let it come naturally to you. Feel it deep within your bones. Give yourself permission to be excited, to be playful, to be grateful, and expansive. Let yourself be alive. Let yourself be alive Let yourself be happy. You deserve it. Let this feeling and let this sensation sink in. Offering yourself the quiet intention of showing up through your day with this energy. Let it be you. If it feels comfortable for you, you may wish to bring one hand to your heart or just a gentle smile to your face.
