Now, before our episode begins, here's a quick word from today's sponsors.
This is a guided meditation that will help you connect with loved ones who you have lost.
And the point of this is not to dwell on the past,
but rather to remember that the past and future are also part of the present.
So I hope you use this meditation to find that sense of comfort in the present.
Begin by settling into any position that you'd like to meditate in.
and take a nice deep breath, filling all the way up into your chest and down into your belly.
And then exhale.
Release all of that air.
Just let it fall back out.
There's no need to force it.
And as you exhale, you can gently close your eyes.
If you haven't already, allow your body to soften.
Let your breath.
flow naturally. This is your time to connect, to reflect, and to feel the presence of your lost
loved one in a way that's peaceful, comforting, and uplifting. And to do that, you can begin by
imagining a place where you and your loved one would have often spent time together.
Maybe it's even a place where you particularly feel their energy, even to this day,
wherever it is.
Allow this place to come into focus in your mind.
Notice all of the details.
of course what it looks like, but also the familiar sense that fill the air, any sounds that you hear,
or even the silence, the peace and quiet, whatever your experience in this place was like.
Let the familiarity of this place envelop you like a blanket.
and as you step into this place, in your own mind, you may begin to notice the subtle presence
of your loved one. Maybe it's just a feeling like warmth, lightness, or a gentle knowing
or a vision, or a sound, however they come to you, allow it to unfold.
naturally. Open your heart to their energy, feeling their love, surround you, just as it did when
they were physically here. You are connected to them and always, and as their presence becomes
more clear in your mind. Imagine them appearing before you. Exactly as you remember seeing them,
their face, their smile, the way they move and hold themselves, feel their unique energy,
filling the space as if they are here with you now, whole and radiant, their essence glowing
with love and peace and enjoy this moment to simply be with them, letting that sense of
connection, refill your heart, and as you enjoy their presence, maybe you let your mind drift
to the beautiful moments that you shared all of the memories you've made together,
the way that they supported you in ways both big and small.
Feel their joy as you reflect on these memories.
cherish them just as much as you do, hear their voice, reminding you that these moments are
eternal, stamped, forever in time, living within you, always. And as you continue to connect and
share the space with this loved one, imagine that they begin to speak.
speak to you, hearing their voice, gentle, but strong, filled with love and encouragement.
They remind you that they are with you in all that you do, supporting you and cheering you on.
They know the person you can become and the amazing life.
you can live. They are here to help you do that. They remind you that your bond is unbreakable.
Their energy is forever intertwined with yours. They encourage you to carry their love as a source
of strength, live fully, and to embrace the beauty that is your own life. And in the pause after the
speak. You share with them any words or feelings that you have a desire or need to share.
And you can speak, but you don't necessarily have to because they'll understand either way.
And it may be as simple as a smile or a hug. It may be something more deep.
and personal. And after you share those words or that gesture, they tell you one final thing
to remember them, but not to spend your whole life dwelling on them, proud of you. And they want you
to be proud of yourself. They encourage you to live today in a way,
that will make you smile
because that
makes them smile.
They will always be with you.
And as they say these words,
you know the time has come
to part.
You take a deep breath
and embrace the energy
of your loved one.
Holding on to everything you feel
in this moment,
knowing that you feel,
that you can return to this place whenever you need to
and connect with their presence and guidance.
As you prepare to leave this place,
take one moment to express gratitude to your loved one
for their love, their encouragement,
and the time you shared together,
college, that you want to represent them proudly in your heart and in your actions.
Sensation in mind, you can slowly begin to bring yourself back to the present moment,
feeling the surface beneath you, the gentle rhythm of your breath, of the air on your skin.
When you're ready, you can open your eyes.
taking a moment in stillness before you move on and being reminded not to dwell on the physical absence of this loved one,
but rather to remember them and represent them in all that you do.
May you live fully today with the knowledge that your loved one is cheering you on,
proud of every step you take, carry their love with you,
and let it guide you toward a life filled with meaning and joy.
