Welcome to this guided meditation, a gentle, uplifting way to begin. your day and set the tone for a week filled with positivity. Before we get started, make sure you're in a comfortable place where you won't be disturbed
Starting point is 00:00:49 and settle into whatever position is best for you, whether that's seated or lying down. It doesn't really matter. Take a nice deep breath in, hold and exhale, nice and slow. gently closing your eyes as you do. Make another nice deep breath in. Inviting calm and clarity. Exhale back out. Releasing any tension or worry. Feel your shoulders soften.
Starting point is 00:01:53 Relax your face. Clench your jaw. And give yourself permission to simply be right here. Right now. Often when a new day or a new week arrives, we can feel a sense of pressure, the weight of responsibilities that urge to rush, to get ahead, to do more and be more. But right now, there is nothing you need to do, nowhere you need to be. This time is yours. And in the same sense, this life is yours. This life is yours. You are already enough. You don't have anything to prove. You are exactly where you're
Starting point is 00:03:44 meant to be. So why not use this moment to guide your attention toward what's good in your life? Shift your focus to gratitude, acknowledging those often overlooked blessings that are truly miraculous. You woke up this morning that you've been given another day to live, breathe, and experience this thing called life. Take your next breath. Feel appreciation for your body and all it does for your heart and your lungs, always working away in the background. You call to mind All of those other things you're grateful for, both big and small, a cozy bed, a loved one, your favorite food, whatever blessings you can think of. Allow yourself to feel that gratitude deeply within yourself,
Starting point is 00:06:15 repeating the words, thank you. Thank you. There's so much to appreciate. make the time to look for it. And as you stand on the precipice of a new day, may you be reminded that there's no need to race, that everything you need to do will get done. Trust that life is unfolding with pristine timing.
Starting point is 00:07:25 Even if you can't always see it in the moment, instead of asking, what do I need to do today? consider asking, how can I experience more joy today? Move through this day with grace and ease. You have the power to decide how you want to show up in this life. And it starts right here with the energy you choose to carry. So in this final moment of meditation, May you set a simple intention for the rest of your day.
Starting point is 00:09:00 Something that makes you feel good, makes you excited about your life. Picture yourself living out this day with that intention. See yourself smiling, relaxed, confident, whatever comes your way with ease and grace. When you feel ready, slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your surroundings. Notice whatever's supporting your body. Begin to wake yourself up with a little gentle movement, like wiggling your fingers and toes. Take one final deep breath in, your deepest breath yet today.
Starting point is 00:10:36 And then exhale, sigh it all back out. And when you're ready, you can gather yourself, come out of that, and turn towards a beautiful day with that intention you chose at the center of your heart and mind. May you remember that you are enough, that you are ready for whatever comes your way, that today is a gift, and it's up to you to decide what to do with it.
