Hey, friend, welcome to this guided meditation here on Wake Me Up.
and to the start of another beautiful day of life.
Take a moment to settle into a comfortable position.
Whatever works best for you, your body, and the space you're in.
And when you're ready, you can gently close your eyes,
just allowing them to soften down, noticing the outside world,
drifting a little farther away.
as you begin to move inward for now.
As there's nothing you need to do or accomplish for the next few moments,
you can simply enjoy some peace and quiet
to arrive into your day with purpose, calm, clarity, and positivity.
Just resting your attention on the breath now.
noticing that natural rhythm of your body allowing it to be easy and smooth and if it feels
comfortable take a slow inhale through the nose and an even slower unforced exhale
out of the mouth again breathing in nice and easy and then releasing just letting the air fall back out
and allowing the body to soften.
And with each passing breath,
imagine that you are creating space,
space for clarity, space for ease,
and space for possibility.
And as you sit here,
at the beginning of a brand new day,
ask yourself,
what's one simple thing
that I can be grateful for right here and right now?
And just let the first honest answer be enough, whatever it is.
Just noticing what that feeling of gratitude is like in the body.
Asking yourself, what's something in my life that's quietly supporting me today?
Again, letting the answer be whatever comes up, maybe it's your heart or your home, your friend,
partner or even your pet.
How that recognition and appreciation to settle in and spread through you.
Now gently begin to shift your attention toward the day ahead,
asking, what's one small thing I can look forward to today?
And just notice how that feeling of anticipation feels.
It's a subtle lift.
a spark of energy, or even just a sense of openness.
Consider now how you want to feel as you move through your day,
allowing any ideas or feelings to be expressed,
not needing to force anything,
just allowing those natural intentions to come forward and settle in.
And finally, asking yourself,
what kind of energy do I want to bring into the world and spread today,
knowing that whatever comes up is exactly right.
There's no wrong answers here.
Envisioning yourself, going about your day,
spreading this kind of energy to the world.
Now take one more deep and slow breath in,
filling all the way up, and then exhale,
release and just let it go.
And as you begin to bring yourself back to the space around you,
slowly open your eyes,
gather yourself,
and move into your day with a positive mind and an open heart.
