Are you feeling a bit stressed out? anxious or worried,
Starting point is 00:00:38 well that's okay. I'm glad you're here. We'll work through that together. And soon enough, you'll be calm and at ease again. So put everything else away for a moment. Turn off your notifications if you have to. Commit to a few minutes just to take care of yourself. You deserve you.
Starting point is 00:01:08 it, start by finding a nice comfortable position. For this, I'd even encourage you to lay down. Personally, I like to rest my hands on my chest as it helps me to tune into my body and feel myself into a more relaxed state. But however you want to be positioned, do that. And once you're there, take a nice deep breath, as deep as you possibly can. Hold for just a second.
Starting point is 00:01:54 And then audibly exhale and make your exhale really slow and long, wonderful. Once more, inhale, and then exhale. Let that air out really slow. And if you'd like to close your eyes, Now's a great time to do that. Allow yourself to soften down even further. Lacks the muscles of your face. Go of all of that tension.
Starting point is 00:02:54 Lacks your jaw and your shoulders. Even just softening one or two percent more is a huge success. Now let's begin our affirmations. I am safe. My body. My mind. Belize. What I cannot.
Starting point is 00:05:01 control. Let go of fear. I am breathing in peace and breathing out tension. I'm strong, capable, and resilient. Where comes my way. I am surrounded by love and support. I'm worthy of peace and tranquility. Negative and problematic things from my life. I'm releasing all tension from my body. I am choosing to focus on the good in my life, letting go of what does not serve me, not defined by my worries and anxieties. I am in. I deserve peace.
Starting point is 00:09:10 It's about time to wrap up. So begin to bring yourself back. Feel the sensation of whatever supporting your body. Notice any sounds going on around you, that feeling of the air on your skin. Take one final deep breath in, nice and slow, filling all the way up. And when you're ready, you can open your eyes, gather yourself, and come out of that. Well, my friend, I hope you're feeling a bit more at ease now.
Starting point is 00:11:46 And that your worries and anxieties are just that bit farther off in the distance. come back to this meditation when you feel that sense of overwhelm coming again because we can go through life so much more easily, so much more enjoyably, and so much more successfully when we do it from this place of calm. So I hope you save this episode and come back whenever you need it again. But that's all for now. If you enjoyed this episode, it would mean a lot if you just took a second to leave a comment or review and let me know. Thanks. I hope to see you back here soon on Wake Me Up. And until next time, go out and have an absolutely fantastic day.
