Hello and welcome to Wake Me Up, the podcast where morning people are made.
This is a meditation mini episode designed to help you develop a sense of gratitude for
others in your life. Now let's get started. Today we're going to take the gratitude we developed
for ourselves in the last meditation mini and spread that feeling to others in our lives.
After all, other people bring many things to our lives, most of which we often forget, overlook, or don't even know about.
This will help us develop a deeper sense of empathy and understanding for other people.
So, as always, begin by finding a comfortable seat, sitting upright, let your shoulders relax.
You can roll them up and back and take a deep breath in.
As you exhale, allow your eyes to close.
Take some deep breaths at your own pace.
Inhaling fully, pausing at the top, and then releasing.
Let your attention drift to the center of your chest
and have it follow the rise and fall of your breath.
Draw deeper and deeper within yourself
and allow everything else going on around you to fade away.
If thoughts come and go, that's fine.
Just let them pass and bring your attention back to the breath.
