Hey there, and welcome to Wake Me Up.
I'm your host, Tyler, as always, and I'm so thrilled that you're here today.
In this episode, we'll be doing some affirmations to help train your mental thought processes,
to forgive yourself and others more easily.
Affirmations like these are really helpful to retrain the self-talk in your mind,
that little voice you hear in the back of your head.
You can repeat them out loud or you can just listen.
And for a deeper experience, go ahead and get into a meditative state
by closing your eyes and removing any distractions.
But no matter how you're going to do these affirmations,
Let's all just take one deep breath in and then slowly exhale.
Great.
Now, let's begin with some affirmations that will help us forgive ourselves.
Let's begin.
I'm open to accepting what happened in the past.
I am safe in this present moment.
I choose to accept all past versions of myself.
I acknowledge that I did the best that I could.
with what I knew at the time.
I choose to release the burdens of guilt, fear, and shame.
I learn from my mistakes.
Let go of my past and move forward.
Cannot change the past, but I can change the future.
I allow myself the freedom to start over.
I am a good person that's worthy of healing.
My forgiveness is a gift to myself.
Now let's repeat all of those ones.
more time. I'm open to accepting what happened in the past. I am safe in this present moment. I choose to
accept all past versions of myself. I acknowledge that I did the best that I could with what I knew at the time.
I choose to release the burdens of guilt, fear, and shame. I learned from my mistakes. Let go of my
past and move forward.
Cannot change the past,
but I can change the future.
I allow myself the freedom to start over.
I am a good person that's worthy of healing.
My forgiveness is a gift to myself.
Tastic.
And now let's do some more that will help us forgive others.
Let's begin.
I and I alone control my life.
and my happiness. I understand that I am in control of how free I feel every day. I choose thoughts
and feelings that set me up for freedom. I recognize that the people who have hurt me in the past
are different people today. I acknowledge that everyone does the best that they can with what they
know at the time. I allow myself and others to evolve. I allow others the freedom to start over.
I forgive others so that I may be at peace.
My forgiveness may come as a gift to others.
Above all, my forgiveness is a gift to myself.
And let's repeat those one more time as well.
I and I alone control my life and my happiness.
I understand that I am in control of how free I feel every day.
I choose thoughts and feelings that set me up for freedom.
I recognize that the people who have hurt me in the past are different people today.
I acknowledge that everyone does the best that they can with what they know at the time.

I allow others the freedom to start over.
I forgive others so that I may be at peace.
My forgiveness may come as a gift to others.
Above all, my forgiveness is a gift to others.
My forgiveness is a gift to myself.
All right, I hope you're feeling a bit more lighthearted, refreshed, and free of mind after those affirmations.
Feel free to come back and repeat them more if you'd find that helpful.
We'll be back tomorrow for our motivation on this same theme, forgiveness.
I can't wait to see you there.
For now, go out and have an absolutely fantastic day.
