Hey there, and thanks for tuning in to Wake Me Up. I'm your host, Tyler, and I'm so glad that you're here today. This week, we've been talking about building deeper relationships. And today, we're going to top that off with a series of positive affirmations that will help seed these ideas deeper in your mind. Affirmations are a really powerful tool to change that internal self-talk that we all have.
Starting point is 00:00:41 And you can do these in any way you'd like, just by listening as you go about your day, as you go for a walk, as you cook or clean or do some work, or for an even deeper experience, you can close your eyes and get into a meditative state. It's best if you repeat them out loud or in your mind, but again, it's fine if you just listen. to. However you're going to do these, let's all just take one deep breath before we begin. So inhale, fill all the way up, and then exhale, release. Wonderful. Now let's begin. I am so grateful for each of my many friendships. I am surrounded by people who see the best in me. I see the best in everyone around me.
Starting point is 00:02:07 I accept and value each relationship for what it is. I am never alone. I'm always surrounded by an abundance of friends, even when they feel far away. I seek out connections when I do feel alone. I let go of relationships that no longer serve me. I'm open to new friendships. I seek friends who encourage me to be a better person.
Starting point is 00:03:34 I attract wonderful people. to my life. I cultivate high-quality relationships. All right. Now let's repeat all of those one more time. And as you exhale, you can open your eyes if you chose to close them. So I hope you enjoyed these affirmations, and I encourage you to come back and repeat them again. the more you do affirmations, the more you're going to change that internal self-talk, and the more you'll see these positive changes coming about in your life.
