Hey friends, and welcome to Wake Me Up.
I'm Tyler, your host, as always, and I'm so glad to have you here today.
It's always a blessing when you join me.
Today we'll be keeping with this week's theme of letting go of perfectionism.
And in this episode, we'll do a series of positive affirmation.
designed to help you let go of that perfectionist mindset.
Perfectionism can be a really limiting problem,
and we all deal with it in some shape or form.
So let's go ahead and dive in and not waste any time.
You can do these affirmations in any way you'd like.
Feel free to say them out loud or just in your mind, whatever works for you.
And if you want the deepest experience,
then you can close your eyes and get into a meditative state.
But however you plan to do these affirmations,
before we begin, let's just all take a deep breath in,
fill all the way into your belly, hold at the top,
and then slowly exhale.
Great. Now, let's begin.
Just repeat after me.
I am enough.
My worth isn't based on my own.
achievements. I allow myself to be imperfect. I find beauty in imperfection. I'm content
doing the best that I can do today. I see everything as a learning opportunity. I will not let
perfectionism hold me back. I am worthy of appreciation exactly as I am. I honor myself for my
efforts. I honor others for their efforts. Flaws and mistakes. Flaws and mistakes.
are only a subjective perception.
Mistakes are opportunities.
I do not criticize myself for my perceived mistakes.
I value growth more than being perfect.
My best is always good enough.
All right.
Now let's do those all one more time.
I am enough.
My worth isn't based on my achievements.
I allow myself to be imperfect.
I find beauty in imperfection.
I'm content doing the best that I can do today.
I see everything as a learning opportunity.
I will not let perfectionism hold me back.
I am worthy of appreciation exactly as I am.
I honor myself for my efforts.
I honor others for their efforts.
flaws and mistakes are only a subjective perception.
Mistakes are opportunities.
I do not criticize myself for my perceived mistakes.
I value growth more than being perfect.
My best is always good enough.
All right, friends, so that marks the end of our affirmations.
Let's take one more deep breath just to finish it off.
So inhale, filling all the way up, hold at the top, and then exhale, release.
And if your eyes were closed, you can open them and just gather yourself.
I hope you're feeling a little bit more lighthearted and a little more eager to chase your goals and your dreams without worrying about messing up along the way.
Life is a journey. If we only enjoyed the end result, we'd spend a lot of time.
missing out. So don't let that happen. Care less and do more. And don't worry about all of the
little things. Thanks again for choosing to be here. I really truly appreciate your listenership.
I'll talk to you soon and until then, go out and have an absolutely fantastic day.
