Hey there, good morning and welcome to Wake Me Up.
We're back today for a meditation on this week's theme of abundance.
Now, if you're still in bed, I'd recommend starting with yesterday's Wake Up and Stretch episode.
That will get you up and going.
and then you can come back to this episode to meditate if you want to.
Friends, one thing that's crucial for satisfaction is thinking highly of yourself,
recognizing that you're good enough the way you are.
And that's not to say we all don't have doubts and fears.
Those things are just part of life.
But our doubts should never overcome our self-worth.
And you shouldn't be limited to only thinking that you're enough,
because you also deserve more.
You deserve to improve and live better.
Not because any of us are entitled to more,
but because that's what life calls us to do,
to learn and grow and improve ourselves.
We'll cultivate this kind of positive mindset in today's meditation
by repeating a few simple mantras.
And doing this, the brain will naturally shift its focus
from what we don't have to what we do have.
It will retrain the brain to see abundance rather than scarcity.
And when we see that we're already enough,
and we still deserve to improve,
then that's the direction we will head.
So hopefully, you're in a comfortable seat.
Anywhere in your home, just don't sit in your bed.
And you want to be sitting upright, nice and supported,
but allow yourself to relax.
Take a deep breath in, fill all the way into your belly.
And as you exhale, just close your eyes.
Take some time just to get settled.
Allow your face to soften.
Allow your shoulders to drop down.
And do whatever you need to do just to get comfortable and settled into place.
Breathe deeply, but naturally.
At whatever pace feels right to you.
and in this meditation
we'll do a few different mantras
or phrases
all you need to do is repeat them
in your mind or out loud
either works
I like to do it in time with my breath
but you can do it however you'd like
just be sure to stick with that mantra
repeating it over and over
and if you get distracted
that's no big deal
just bring yourself back to the mantra
And the first mantra will be this.
I am enough.
So just repeat that to yourself for a couple of minutes.
I am enough.
You can let that first mantra go.
Let your mind reset for just a moment.
And let's turn to our second mantra.
I deserve a better life.
And that can mean whatever you want it to mean.
Maybe it will mean multiple things.
to you. And maybe the meaning will even change over time. So just repeat it to yourself for a moment
or two. I deserve a better life. You can let that mantra go now. We've got one more, but just take a
second to reset first. All right. Our final mantra is this. I have everything I need to do anything
I want.
So just repeat that for a moment.
I have everything I need to do anything I want.
Okay.
Let go of that mantra.
And allow your mind to wander freely for a moment.
Let it go wherever it wants.
Okay, it's time to wrap up our meditation.
So begin to bring yourself back to the room.
Notice the air on your skin.
Notice any sounds that might be going on around you.
you. Notice whatever's supporting you, be it the floor or a chair. Take a final deep breath in.
And on your exhale, just take a second to come out of that and gather yourself. I hope you
enjoyed that meditation. Mantras like these are a great tool to create and cultivate a positive
mindset. Your mind probably wandered away from them at one point or another, and that's actually good
By coming back to the mantra afterwards, you've started to train your brain to default to a positive outlook,
seeing all that you have rather than what you don't have, seeing the abundance in your life
and your opportunities for further growth.
Well, that's all for this episode.
I'll talk to you tomorrow for our motivation on this week's theme of abundance.
And until then, go out, take care of yourself, and have a fantastic day.
You know,
