Now before our episode begins, here's a quick word from today's sponsors.
Hey there, welcome to Wake Me Up and to this guided morning meditation to help you clear and calm your mind.
You can begin by finding a comfortable position.
Whatever works best for you, your body, and the space you're in.
And once you're there, take a nice deep breath, filling all the way up into your chest,
and then down into your belly.
Hold at the top.
And then exhale, release.
Just let that air fall back out.
And as you do, you can just.
Gently go ahead and close your eyes.
And as you begin, just settling into a meditative state,
give yourself permission to be present in the here and now.
Many things might be grabbing for your attention,
whether external or internal.
And that's perfectly normal.
But you've taken this time for yourself.
So fulfill that intention.
and grant yourself the gift of a few moments just to be still.
Anything at whatever pace and depth feels natural to you,
simply making sure that it feels easy and effortless,
allowing all of your muscles to relax,
softening your face, relaxing your jaw,
and allowing your shoulders to drop down.
Just physically letting go of any weight, any tension that you're holding on to.
And with each breath, each passing moment, you may feel yourself slowly drifting deeper and deeper within.
To as you drift, just that bit deeper and deeper you may find somewhere.
inside of yourself, that sense of calm in the knowing that you have everything you need right now.
And with that feeling of calm, each breath you take, collects, and then expels any frustration,
any tension, any fear. Just releasing all of those negative things through the exhale.
feeling, that unhelpful energy as it leaves your body, taking with it any associated thoughts
as you release those negative thoughts and feelings.
You may notice just how good it feels to really let go, letting go of all of those things
that are weighing you down, holding you back, preventing you from living a day and a life
full of positive emotions. And with the repetition of this cleansing breath, any nagging
thoughts, any stressors, any worries, begin to drift farther and farther away above.
our meditation. So begin to bring yourself back. Notice the sensation of whatever supporting your
body. Feel the air touching your skin and take one more deep breath in. The deepest one you've
taken yet today. Hold at the top and then exhale, release. Just let that air fall back out.
And when you're ready, you can slowly open your eyes,
gather yourself, and carry on with your day.
