Now before our episode begins, here's a quick word from our sponsors.
Hey there, and welcome to Wake Me Up.
I'm your host Tyler, and I'm so thankful that you're here today.
For those of us in the northern hemisphere, a fresh coat of green is coming to life all around us.
And so in this week's episodes, we're going to talk about the beautiful transition from winter to spring
and how this time of year offers an opportunity for growth and rebirth.
There's so much that we can learn just by watching the way that the earth and the seasons change.
And today, I'd like to share a bit with.
you about how we can mirror the rebirth of nature in spring within ourselves.
But before we get started, take a moment to just pause and bring yourself into a state of ease.
Take a few deep breaths at your own pace.
And as you do that, think about a new direction that you're trying to take your life in,
a new opportunity you want to chase, or a change you'd like to make.
See yourself bringing that change, that opportunity to life.
Now let's take a deep breath together.
So inhale and fill all the way up.
Hold at the top.
And then exhale and release.
Great.
Now, if you're in bed, take this opportunity to roll over,
to get up and get your day started.
There is a world of opportunity.
waiting for you, so don't let it slip away.
Feel free to go about your morning routine, making your coffee, having a stretch or going for a walk,
whatever it is that you like to do.
And while you do that, let's circle back to the rebirth that happens each year in spring.
In fall, nature sheds what it no longer needs.
It lets go of the past year and hunkers down to rest and reach up.
And that's a really powerful process.
When we honor the need to shed what we no longer require, to let those parts of ourselves go,
we make room for new things to come in.
And it's now, in spring, that we have this grand opportunity to build anew.
Each spring, nature reveals that we have the chance for regrowth.
We can grow new leaves, new branches that can take us in all new.
new directions. After shedding what didn't serve us in the fall, resting and recovering through
winter, now it's the time to rebuild and rebrand yourself. Experiencing rebirth, which
spring is inviting us to do, requires letting go. Nature is always going through this cycle.
So instead of trying to fight it, we should learn to lean into this natural cycle and let it work
for us rather than against us.
Just like nature, we can't expect ourselves to always be blooming.
We've got to let go.
We've got to release the old parts of ourselves that aren't helpful or necessary anymore.
And yes, that can be uncomfortable.
But that's where the excitement of spring can help.
We get to complete the act of letting go by deciding what direction.
we want to grow in next.
So I hope you find some excitement
and this grand chance to rebuild yourself.
And you don't have to change who you are completely.
In fact, I recommend starting with one simple thing,
a new direction that you might like to try out.
As you'll see when you begin to push yourself in that new direction,
it forces you to look at who you are in a different way.
you're naturally going to let go of old things, old relationships, and habits that don't serve you any longer.
And that's just part of what's so valuable in this opportunity for growth.
Spring is a time of new beginnings, a time to let go of the old and welcome the new.
It's a season of rebirth and renewal, and it provides the perfect opportunity for personal growth and transformation.
so why not use this season to make the changes in your life you've been wanting to make?
We all have things like that, and the arrival of spring brings with it a sense of hope and optimism.
The days are longer, the weather is warmer, and nature is in full bloom.
So take inspiration from the beauty of the season around you,
and use it to fuel your own growth and development.
whether that's learning a new skill, pursuing a passion, or making a positive change in your lifestyle.
The possibilities are endless.
All you have to do is embrace this season of change happening around you and use it to become the best version of yourself.
Remember, personal growth is a journey.
It's not a destination.
It takes constant time and effort.
but the rewards are immeasurable.
Not only will you become a better version of yourself,
but you will also inspire others to do the same.
And with that, you'll find happiness,
fulfillment, and an acceptance and excitement to be who you are.
So I encourage you to seize the opportunity that Spring presents.
Make the changes you need to live a more fulfilling,
and meaningful life.
And remember that the only limit to your growth
are the limits you set for yourself.
So I'll ask you now,
what new opportunity do you want to seek?
What new branch do you want to grow?
What direction do you want to explore?
My friend, trees are not meant to cling to their old leaves.
Neither are you.
and also like a tree, you are meant to bloom.
It is in your very nature to do so.
Nature knows exactly what to do in each season,
and it comes back each spring with the same beauty and power.
My friend, that beauty and power are inside of you too.
You simply must allow them to bloom.
Well, that's all for today.
I'm so glad that you chose to join me here this morning,
and I hope that you're excited for all of the chances at growth that you'll have this spring.
I'll be back tomorrow for a meditation on this same theme that will help put these ideas into practice.
It will get you visualizing and actively thinking about your growth.
So I hope to see you there.
Until then, go out and have an absolutely fantastic day.
